- 1:50Speaker 3: in in like a classy camel coat even. Like really
- 1:53Speaker 3: feeling your fall, y'all.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I brought out all the fall. I was like, it's
- 1:56Speaker 2: the first time I can actually like wear a coat
- 1:58Speaker 2: and boots. And like I came in.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you're looking good. We have so much to get into.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Hot topics wise, some people think we're on different sides
- 2:09Speaker 3: of major topics. We're going to get into all of them.
- 2:13Speaker 3: But first, you have an exciting thing happening next week
- 2:16Speaker 3: where people can see you live. Or live or explain
- 2:20Speaker 3: what the premiere is.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So there was a documentary that I did last year.
- 2:23Speaker 2: It's called It Ends With Justice and it follows the
- 2:25Speaker 2: Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni saga. What a great name. I know.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Instead of It Ends With Us, It Ends With Justice.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It Ends With Justice. So I'm in the documentary and
- 2:34Speaker 2: it's premiering and I'm going to be at the Chicago
- 2:37Speaker 2: show this Sunday. So Sunday the 18th, I'll be in
- 2:40Speaker 2: Chicago at the premiere. We're going to do a Q
- 2:42Speaker 2: & A and then I'll also be at the LA premiere,
- 2:45Speaker 2: which is next month, November 11th.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Oh, awesome. Well, maybe invite me if you can get
- 2:50Speaker 3: a plus one. I want to see it. I'm very
- 2:51Speaker 3: happy for you.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 2:53Speaker 3: You worked really hard on that and you were great
- 2:55Speaker 3: every time you came on here because it was so interesting.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And now I'm glad you're getting your flowers.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:03Speaker 3: The respect that you deserve. Well, this was kind of
- 3:06Speaker 3: crazy news that just dropped. TMZ is reporting that Selma Blair,
- 3:10Speaker 3: the actress- was arrested after allegedly biting a flight attendant
- 3:14Speaker 3: trying to open a plane door mid-flight on the way
- 3:18Speaker 3: to New York. From what I read, it seems very confusing.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think we have a lot of details
- 3:24Speaker 2: other than there was some sort of, like, incident where
- 3:27Speaker 2: she clearly had some sort of, like, freak out. I mean, maybe, like,
- 3:30Speaker 2: an anxiety attack. I don't know. She kind of had, like, a.
- 3:32Speaker 3: They said she also, like, hit her head on the, like,
- 3:35Speaker 3: you know, when you get up.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Maybe when she got up very abruptly. I don't know.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Like, yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Obviously trying to open a door is a scary thing.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Could you imagine being on the flight and Selma Blair's
- 3:45Speaker 2: there and you're like, oh, Selma Blair's on my flight.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And the next thing you know, she tries to open
- 3:48Speaker 2: the plane door.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Well, this isn't the first time she's been arrested for
- 3:52Speaker 3: bad plane behavior.
- 3:53Speaker 2: What happened before?
- 3:55Speaker 3: In 2016, she was arrested while on flight.
- 3:57Speaker 2: For a freakout. Oh, that was a while ago.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I fly all the time.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never tried to open the plane door to fly.
- 4:04Speaker 3: How many people have been arrested twice in a lifetime?
- 4:06Speaker 2: On a plane, yeah. How do you not get banned
- 4:08Speaker 2: from an airline?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Well, I mean, whatever the case happened in 2016, they
- 4:13Speaker 3: forgave her or it was explained or whatever.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I need the plane footage. There are so many people
- 4:19Speaker 2: with iPhones filming people going crazy on planes. I need
- 4:22Speaker 2: the Selma Blair plane footage.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I mean, I do think because she's suffering from MS,
- 4:27Speaker 3: I feel like this isn't going to be as if
- 4:30Speaker 3: just an actress that's entitled and crazy. I think people
- 4:35Speaker 3: are treading a little lightly to be like, is there
- 4:38Speaker 3: any correlation? or just mentally having a hard time with that,
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know, disease. I don't know, but I thought it
- 4:46Speaker 3: was very interesting that it happened. And it's just like
- 4:49Speaker 3: every day, there's just crazy stuff of people on planes,
- 4:53Speaker 3: freaking out these poor flight attendants that, you know, she
- 4:56Speaker 3: bit the flight attendant. I mean, and recently there was
- 5:01Speaker 3: this other one like on frontier where like the flight attendant,
- 5:04Speaker 3: male flight attendant had to like fight off people like
- 5:07Speaker 3: mid air. I'm like, These people make so little money.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:12Speaker 3: And it's such an important job. And just like, God,
- 5:15Speaker 3: to have to deal. I mean, I'm sure 90% of
- 5:17Speaker 3: the time people are pleasant and great. But like they're
- 5:20Speaker 3: not fucking Navy SEALs. They're not trained to like– they're
- 5:25Speaker 3: not physically trained to like take down people and– No.
- 5:29Speaker 2: They're not supposed to take down people.
- 5:30Speaker 3: They're not even supposed to help you with your bag.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think they're allowed to even get involved.
- 5:35Speaker 2: They're normally not supposed to because people can sue for that.
- 5:38Speaker 2: But I mean, flight attendants take a huge hit because
- 5:41Speaker 2: people on flights are awful.
- 5:43Speaker 3: They're awful. And I mean, imagine. So hopefully there's some
- 5:48Speaker 3: explanation and she's going to be okay. And this flight attendant,
- 5:52Speaker 3: I hope that she gets what she needs. I mean, listen,
- 5:55Speaker 3: if I was a flight attendant and Selma Blair bit me, Yeah,
- 5:57Speaker 3: I want some fucking money. I want some money. I
- 6:00Speaker 3: want to take a month off.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Give me the estate.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, like, I mean, I don't know. I'm sure someone's
- 6:05Speaker 3: contacting that flight attendant. And I wonder how it works
- 6:08Speaker 3: because it's like you still want to be a flight attendant.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So I don't know if like United is like, no,
- 6:13Speaker 3: we'll cover that. Or come on, you only have one
- 6:15Speaker 3: little cut here. You don't need it. But it's like, no.
- 6:18Speaker 2: We don't know how bad the bite was.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And you just don't like... Gosh, you know, anybody let
- 6:23Speaker 3: me get what I can out of this. Like, how
- 6:25Speaker 3: dare you attack me? How dare you even fuck up
- 6:27Speaker 3: one minute of my life?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Do you even still want to be a flight attendant
- 6:30Speaker 2: at that point? Like settle for a good lump of
- 6:32Speaker 2: change and then you don't even have to be a
- 6:34Speaker 2: flight attendant.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Well, that's what I'm thinking. I'm sure she's getting calls
- 6:36Speaker 3: or they're trying to find out. And someone's like, don't
- 6:39Speaker 3: worry what the airline is saying to you. Like, let's,
- 6:43Speaker 3: let's get this.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 3: And, um, and she will probably settle. right away because
- 6:49Speaker 3: whatever this was, she still has a reputation and wants
- 6:53Speaker 3: to work. So we'll see. Now, Melania Giudice, we've been
- 6:58Speaker 3: covering her. She's truly, and she addressed it on her
- 7:01Speaker 3: own Instagram this morning. She is in a facility, a
- 7:05Speaker 3: mental health looks like a, you know, like a retreat.
- 7:09Speaker 3: She's outside. She had a beautiful cat. I don't know
- 7:11Speaker 3: if she got to bring her cat or if the
- 7:12Speaker 3: cat is part of the place she's staying at, but
- 7:16Speaker 3: She just talked to the camera and was very well
- 7:19Speaker 3: spoken and just said, I am, this is mental awareness
- 7:24Speaker 3: month or day, and I am going to go forward
- 7:27Speaker 3: using my platform to address this. I suffer from ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And she does bring up, you know, being a public
- 7:39Speaker 3: figure since she was very little. So she was like
- 7:41Speaker 3: two and the summer just, wrecked me. We know that
- 7:45Speaker 3: she lost her very best friend.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 3: In a weird freak accident.
- 7:50Speaker 2: And one of her grandparents, right? Joe's parents passed.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And, you know, and just dealing with with 20 year
- 7:59Speaker 3: old life and then put on top of it that
- 8:00Speaker 3: you're super famous. And so I thought it was really good.
- 8:06Speaker 3: And I know everyone's happy to hear that she's doing better. She,
- 8:09Speaker 3: you know, has apologized to her mother. because we saw
- 8:12Speaker 3: that video of her.
- 8:14Speaker 2: At the airport, yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And Teresa really doing her best, and she was filming Teresa,
- 8:18Speaker 3: and she posted it. And, of course, someone caught it
- 8:21Speaker 3: before she took it down.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: And I understand she was going. Like, they were with her.
- 8:27Speaker 3: They were concerned about her and Gia.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Teresa and Gia. And then like she kind of disappeared
- 8:32Speaker 3: in the airport. So that's why they called security. They
- 8:34Speaker 3: found her. Yeah. And then they were going to go
- 8:37Speaker 3: on the plane to go home. Yeah. And she was
- 8:39Speaker 3: mad at them. And so she was filming them being like, oh,
- 8:41Speaker 3: that's what we're doing now.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Well, yeah. Because what was it? One of the other
- 8:44Speaker 2: sisters called and had her arrested. Remember, there was like
- 8:46Speaker 2: an incident at the house where she got into some.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:49Speaker 2: That was all.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That was before the friend passed.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And it may have been around.
- 8:54Speaker 3: No.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You're right.
- 8:54Speaker 2: That was like in April because the friend passed, I believe,
- 8:56Speaker 2: in July.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 2: And so that's why at the airport, she's like, oh,
- 8:59Speaker 2: so this is what we're doing now. We're just getting
- 9:01Speaker 2: cops to come and get me.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And kind of accusing her mother of doing it for
- 9:06Speaker 3: a scene, for a scene of use and all that.
- 9:08Speaker 3: And Teresa really kept her composure, really was managing it
- 9:13Speaker 3: really well. And I was kind of thinking when that
- 9:17Speaker 3: was all going down before today, I was like, oh,
- 9:21Speaker 3: she's just going to do the Watch What Happens Live.
- 9:22Speaker 3: And they just know not to ask her about that.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And still talk about Ultimate Girls Trip and, you know,
- 9:29Speaker 3: that she's filming New Jersey. And I'm like, will we
- 9:32Speaker 3: see this play out on New Jersey?
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm sure we will because a lot of this was
- 9:38Speaker 2: like the arrest happened while season was in production.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 2: So I imagine we're going to get some of it
- 9:44Speaker 2: and probably I wouldn't be shocked if they picked up
- 9:47Speaker 2: cameras to catch some of what's going on right now. But,
- 9:50Speaker 2: you know, it's just it's sad to see her so young.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I know at the airport the airport footage. Also, you know,
- 9:56Speaker 2: there was a moment where Teresa mentioned something about Melania
- 9:59Speaker 2: having fentanyl and her system and she said she was laced.
- 10:01Speaker 3: She was like acting like it was no big deal.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Like I was laced like everybody else in college, which as,
- 10:06Speaker 3: you know, a parent who has college kids.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 3: It's really scary. And then when you have Mary Cosby's
- 10:12Speaker 3: son who passed from drug addiction. It's like we say
- 10:16Speaker 3: we want the real stuff. But the real stuff right
- 10:19Speaker 3: now is really depressing and sad. But I do appreciate
- 10:26Speaker 3: her getting help. And, you know, we saw her be
- 10:28Speaker 3: like a little angry child, which we thought was funny.
- 10:31Speaker 3: And they thought it was funny, just like they thought
- 10:33Speaker 3: it was funny when Corey Jr., KJ Jr., would flip
- 10:40Speaker 3: off his mother at four and use bad language. And, oh,
- 10:43Speaker 3: isn't that funny when a four-year-old uses the F word and,
- 10:46Speaker 3: you know, all this kind of stuff. Then put it
- 10:49Speaker 3: on TV, then have that bad behavior being repeated all
- 10:53Speaker 3: the time as you grow up.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:55Speaker 3: And so hopefully she's really going to explore that. And
- 11:00Speaker 3: in doing it, I do definitely think one thing that
- 11:03Speaker 3: housewives do best is make lemonade out of lemons if they,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you know, and so it's like if she can go
- 11:10Speaker 3: in that space or have a podcast about mental health
- 11:14Speaker 3: or- I thought when I was doing this, I'm like,
- 11:17Speaker 3: is this going to be, when I started to watch it,
- 11:19Speaker 3: I was happy to see her be so eloquent. But
- 11:22Speaker 3: I was like, is this also going to be like,
- 11:24Speaker 3: so also I'm taking this medication or, you know, will
- 11:29Speaker 3: there be sponsorships in that field? And I think her
- 11:34Speaker 3: being like so adamant in her speech saying, I'm going
- 11:38Speaker 3: to now use this platform to help mental health. I
- 11:41Speaker 3: was like, this could totally be, authentic, organic. It could
- 11:46Speaker 3: be a little both. It could be a little like
- 11:48Speaker 3: how Bethany Frankel goes, I just had a horrible person
- 11:50Speaker 3: dye my hair. And then guess what, everybody? I have
- 11:54Speaker 3: my own hair dyeing system. I mean, are you planning
- 11:58Speaker 3: it a little bit? I don't care what it is.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I think we all want her to do well. And
- 12:04Speaker 3: if she can use her voice and have it be
- 12:08Speaker 3: somewhat profitable for her, you know, if it's not hurting one,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I'd say like, yeah, get in that space.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I mean, and you can tell like her and Gia
- 12:16Speaker 2: very much love the public life, right? Like Gia's on
- 12:19Speaker 2: Next Gen NYC. Melania's all over TikTok and she's constantly
- 12:23Speaker 2: posting videos. So there are people that I think were
- 12:26Speaker 2: built for a public life, whereas the other two sisters
- 12:28Speaker 2: want nothing to do with cameras or any sort of
- 12:30Speaker 2: public life.
- 12:31Speaker 3: She's number three, right?
- 12:32Speaker 2: I believe so.
- 12:33Speaker 3: So Gia's number one and number two is the one
- 12:35Speaker 3: that really wants nothing in the limelight. And then the
- 12:39Speaker 3: youngest one is only like 15, right?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah. And so I think, you know, she seems to
- 12:46Speaker 2: have a good head on her shoulder. She just seems
- 12:48Speaker 2: to have lost her way a little bit. And hopefully
- 12:51Speaker 2: she's able to come out of it and use her
- 12:53Speaker 2: content for something positive.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely. And, you know, at least now going forward,
- 13:00Speaker 3: you know, she's got the cousins. They can be together
- 13:02Speaker 3: because they have come to a truce.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Finally.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Melissa and... Teresa. Now, you said you have an upcoming
- 13:11Speaker 3: interview with Teresa, which, congratulations, that'll be great. What is
- 13:14Speaker 3: your understanding of who the other people are in the cast?
- 13:17Speaker 3: Because we know Marge is not coming back.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Well, we know it's Melissa, Teresa, and Dolores.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:23Speaker 2: And then it's a bunch of younger newbies. Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 2: So the rest of the cast is all new. But, like,
- 13:28Speaker 2: Fuda's not back. Danielle's not back. Jen's not back. Margaret's
- 13:34Speaker 2: not back. Jackie's not back at all. None of them
- 13:36Speaker 2: are back. Yeah. Yeah. But Marge is now on The
- 13:40Speaker 2: Golden Life.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Right. She came in, I guess, half season of The
- 13:42Speaker 3: Golden Life. That's coming out in the next week.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm excited. I'm more excited for that than the
- 13:49Speaker 2: new Roni. Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I think that'll be a big hit. And I think
- 13:51Speaker 3: it'll be really fun. And I think it'll be really
- 13:55Speaker 3: interesting to see how Bravo reacts to the impending success
- 14:00Speaker 3: of that. Yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I'm sure they'll try to block it. Or overshadow it
- 14:04Speaker 2: in any way.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know. You know, I mean, with streaming,
- 14:07Speaker 3: you can just watch what you want to watch and
- 14:08Speaker 3: you don't watch people know you're not watching and there's
- 14:11Speaker 3: really no way to get you get back into it.
- 14:14Speaker 3: This episode of Juicy Scoop is sponsored by Willys. So
- 14:17Speaker 3: I know a lot of us are trying to reduce

- 17:49Speaker 3: know was possible. And now I feel like I know

- 18:48Speaker 3: to say, and Sofia Vergara, we know that they got divorced.
- 18:53Speaker 3: And I think I know why they got divorced. I
- 18:56Speaker 3: think it has to do with four little legs.
- 18:59Speaker 2: A dog?
- 19:00Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Oh, the dog that she was trolling him about.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 3: And I don't mean to brag. But just like you
- 19:06Speaker 3: have video of times that you've predicted things, I said
- 19:11Speaker 3: early on, I think that little chihuahua had something to
- 19:14Speaker 3: do with the breakup of their marriage. And now his
- 19:17Speaker 3: book is out.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And he said she was not supportive of his relationship
- 19:25Speaker 3: with the chihuahua.
- 19:26Speaker 2: But isn't it weird? Because didn't he say like the
- 19:28Speaker 2: Chihuahua saved him from like committing suicide? Right.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And so he wrote this book that's out and he's
- 19:34Speaker 3: doing interviews about it. And of course, in doing the
- 19:37Speaker 3: interviews and everything, they're going to say, well, they're going
- 19:41Speaker 3: to ask about Sophia. They're going to ask what the
- 19:43Speaker 3: divorce was. And in writing your memoir, even if it's
- 19:47Speaker 3: focused on that he had this autoimmune disease and it
- 19:50Speaker 3: he got through it, his story is he was married.
- 19:55Speaker 3: They were married for seven years. He's got to tell
- 19:56Speaker 3: a story. But of course, she divorced him because they
- 20:00Speaker 3: don't like each other anymore. So she's not going to
- 20:02Speaker 3: be happy that he's talking about her. But when they
- 20:06Speaker 3: first broke up, My friend, Tammy Pescatelli.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I love Tammy.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Great comedian. She was doing a movie with him.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Oh.
- 20:14Speaker 3: And she's like, I'm telling you, Heather, I think that
- 20:18Speaker 3: little dog, he was with that little dog all the time.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 3: And then I looked into it and there was times
- 20:24Speaker 3: where she would joke and say that like there were
- 20:26Speaker 3: times where like a little video caught it where she
- 20:27Speaker 3: would act like she wanted to kiss the dog and
- 20:29Speaker 3: the dog was like. Like the dog did not like her.
- 20:33Speaker 2: He probably sends her bad energy.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 3: And he loved the dog. And chihuahuas are. A controversial breed,
- 20:39Speaker 3: you know, love them or hate them. They are extremely attractive.
- 20:44Speaker 3: They're very fit.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Would you leave somebody over a dog though?
- 20:49Speaker 3: No.
- 20:49Speaker 2: But would you even marry them over it? Like with
- 20:52Speaker 2: knowing the dog?
- 20:53Speaker 3: This is how little, you know, here's the thing. We
- 20:56Speaker 3: have a very attractive female dog and she is beyond
- 21:01Speaker 3: obsessed with my husband.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Like he went away. We made sure that I kept
- 21:07Speaker 3: a pair of underwear that was never washed so that
- 21:10Speaker 3: she could wrap her body in it, a shoe, so
- 21:14Speaker 3: she knows. So she's stressed out that he's never returning.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I don't try to replace it. I don't get jealous
- 21:22Speaker 3: of it. When I'm around and I'm wearing a pair
- 21:25Speaker 3: of tennis shoes, she perks up. She thinks she's going
- 21:28Speaker 3: for a walk. But for the most part, she would
- 21:29Speaker 3: not care if she never saw me again. I accept
- 21:32Speaker 3: that as a human. But I just think it's very
- 21:36Speaker 3: funny that like– and also a chihuahua, just of all
- 21:39Speaker 3: like the comedy rights itself because they are like the bitchiest,
- 21:42Speaker 3: most snobby dogs. And they bark and they're like the
- 21:45Speaker 3: dog that like thinks they're badass and they're like the
- 21:48Speaker 3: tiniest thing.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I know. I hate chihuahuas.
- 21:50Speaker 3: And so you see this big guy and he said
- 21:52Speaker 3: that she mocked his relationship with that chihuahua.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it. I mean, listen, I have two
- 21:58Speaker 2: big dogs and like that can make dating very challenging.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I mean– It can, you know, like my dogs sleep
- 22:05Speaker 2: in bed with me and they've cock blocked me a
- 22:07Speaker 2: number of times or like I've had to have sex
- 22:09Speaker 2: with the dogs in bed. And like, that's not ideal. Right.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You know, but you have to like have another dog
- 22:14Speaker 2: owner that gets it. And Sophia does not seem like
- 22:16Speaker 2: somebody that settles for anything that is not about what
- 22:19Speaker 2: she wants.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:20Speaker 2: But it's interesting because she said when they broke up
- 22:22Speaker 2: that it was about kids, that she didn't want to
- 22:24Speaker 2: have kids. And he did, and that's what she claims
- 22:28Speaker 2: caused the divorce back when they first split.
- 22:30Speaker 3: In the book, or in this interview, he said, no,
- 22:33Speaker 3: that's not what caused it. It was like I was
- 22:35Speaker 3: going through this physical illness, and she wouldn't even give
- 22:38Speaker 3: me a hug. She mocked the dog. And because of
- 22:41Speaker 3: this illness, I had chosen and decided that fatherhood was
- 22:46Speaker 3: not in my best interest. So he said that had
- 22:48Speaker 3: nothing to do with it. And I kind of believe
- 22:53Speaker 3: him because... You know, she had this son when she
- 22:56Speaker 3: was very young who then posted or she reposted her
- 23:00Speaker 3: son's post about the difference between a real man and
- 23:03Speaker 3: a narcissistic man. And it was just one of those
- 23:05Speaker 3: posts and then she reposted it. So it was her
- 23:07Speaker 3: little like wink, wink, he's a narcissistic man. And also
- 23:11Speaker 3: something to the effect of she said like no matter
- 23:13Speaker 3: how much you do for a narcissistic man, it's never enough,
- 23:16Speaker 3: which I think a lot of people would agree with.
- 23:18Speaker 3: And I think– That, you know, she went through that
- 23:22Speaker 3: horrible case with the second guy. Yeah. Not the second guy.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Not the father of the first son who's like an adult.
- 23:29Speaker 3: She was with this other guy for a long time.
- 23:31Speaker 3: They never got married and they made embryos.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:34Speaker 3: And it was her understanding that they would have to
- 23:36Speaker 3: decide together and they were no longer together. So the
- 23:39Speaker 3: embryos were going to be destroyed. Right. And he fought
- 23:42Speaker 3: and sued for years while she was with Joe to
- 23:47Speaker 3: make those embryos become human girls. And he got, you know,
- 23:53Speaker 3: right wing and Catholic things to say, like, it's a life. And,
- 23:57Speaker 3: you know, so then I'm sure she would wake up
- 23:59Speaker 3: to hateful messages. How could you destroy these embryos? And
- 24:03Speaker 3: in the end, she did prevail. And I don't know
- 24:06Speaker 3: what happened to them, but they were not. Maybe she felt.
- 24:08Speaker 3: This ex was going after her to then she would
- 24:12Speaker 3: have to support them. Yeah. You remember, like, do you
- 24:15Speaker 3: know the story of the Sherry Shepard? Sherry Shepard had, again,
- 24:21Speaker 3: had like a marriage and a child. And I think
- 24:24Speaker 3: the child had special needs, her son. And then she
- 24:27Speaker 3: married this other guy. And they were kind of talking
- 24:31Speaker 3: about having a child through fertility. And they got like
- 24:36Speaker 3: a donated egg.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 24:38Speaker 3: And a sperm. And then it was going to be
- 24:40Speaker 3: his child. And then, you know, because she, whatever, needed
- 24:42Speaker 3: to donate. So biologically, the point is the child is
- 24:45Speaker 3: not his. Hers. They broke up and he went forward
- 24:50Speaker 3: with having this child. And she has to pay for
- 24:55Speaker 3: that child forever.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Oh, because she has custody over the embryo?
- 24:59Speaker 3: No, because it was in the, like, somehow he was like,
- 25:04Speaker 3: We already started the process and they weren't officially divorced yet.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And because they already started the process, she was already
- 25:10Speaker 3: written as the mother.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah. She had custody of the embryo.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Right. Or something like that. I mean, it was a very,
- 25:17Speaker 3: and in the end she was just like, fine, I'll pay.
- 25:20Speaker 3: But I, because I don't have any biological tie, I
- 25:23Speaker 3: don't really want to raise this other child. I don't
- 25:25Speaker 3: want to co-parent with you, but the child is that
- 25:27Speaker 3: guy's child and she has to pay till the child's
- 25:30Speaker 3: 18 is my understanding.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 25:32Speaker 3: You got to really be careful who you have kids with.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That's why I'm not having kids with anyone. I'm doing
- 25:37Speaker 2: it alone.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:38Speaker 2: But Khloe Kardashian talked about that on the new season
- 25:41Speaker 2: of The Kardashians about how she has an embryo that
- 25:45Speaker 2: she got Tristan to sign over his rights. So the
- 25:49Speaker 2: last embryo she has is fully hers.
- 25:52Speaker 3: That's interesting. Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 2: She got him to sign over the parental rights when
- 25:55Speaker 2: he cheated on her last time. I remember they were
- 25:57Speaker 2: having Tatum. And then I guess– so she has one
- 26:00Speaker 2: embryo left and it's a baby girl that she has
- 26:02Speaker 2: in the freezer.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Wow.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I was just thinking about that. I was like, I
- 26:05Speaker 3: wonder if she's done. Like I definitely don't think Kylie's
- 26:07Speaker 3: done having kids because she's so young and she's with Timothy.
- 26:10Speaker 2: She needs to lock that down.
- 26:12Speaker 3: And I think he needs to lock it down. I
- 26:15Speaker 3: think they are a good couple and she's– so I
- 26:18Speaker 3: definitely think she's– will have like another set of kids.
- 26:23Speaker 3: But Kim and Kourtney are in their mid-40s. They're done.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And they each have four.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I'm shocked that Kourtney even had Rocky.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Yeah. That was amazing because she was like in her
- 26:34Speaker 3: early 40s.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 3: But, yeah, that's so interesting because it's like really kind
- 26:41Speaker 3: of smart of Khloe because, you know, just like I
- 26:43Speaker 3: always thought Kourtney, even though she was not into Scott,
- 26:47Speaker 3: she wanted to have that third one, you know, or whatever.
- 26:51Speaker 3: And then, you know, and then got with who she's
- 26:54Speaker 3: with now.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Or had it with Justin Bieber. Yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 3: That is a great conspiracy theory or not.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I love that conspiracy theory.
- 27:02Speaker 4: I mean, they put the.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Baby photos together, but also he looks like her too.
- 27:06Speaker 3: So it's like he has, you know, and that kid's
- 27:09Speaker 3: very cute and he's very, he has Scott Disick's funny
- 27:12Speaker 3: personality when you see a little bit of it, whatever.
- 27:15Speaker 3: But yeah, their season just came out and they got
- 27:18Speaker 3: a lot of shit for their promo.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I hated the opening.
- 27:22Speaker 3: So for those that don't know, the opening started, I
- 27:24Speaker 3: saw it on Khloe's page. And it starts out and
- 27:27Speaker 3: it's where they all are getting together to do. So
- 27:31Speaker 3: Kim's on, I mean, Chris is on a yacht and
- 27:34Speaker 3: they see just the back of a black guy playing,
- 27:36Speaker 3: riding a jet ski, you know, right away that it's AI.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I didn't. So I watched the screener before it came out,
- 27:43Speaker 2: like a couple of days before I came, I watched
- 27:45Speaker 2: it and I was like, wow, the quality of the
- 27:47Speaker 2: camera is different, but it's like very like It's crazy
- 27:51Speaker 2: that they're in each different, like Courtney was in Japan
- 27:54Speaker 2: with Travis and Chris was in Saint-Tropez and Kim was
- 27:58Speaker 2: in somewhere.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Chloe's alone in the safari, but there's a hot safari
- 28:02Speaker 3: guy with her. Right. But when that hot safari guy
- 28:04Speaker 3: turns around, you know, in my feed, there's a lot
- 28:08Speaker 3: of these vertical shows that are all completely AI actors.
- 28:12Speaker 3: So I recognize what that looks like.
- 28:14Speaker 2: That was the first one that I caught was the
- 28:16Speaker 2: safari guy because the rest of them were them and
- 28:19Speaker 2: then When I saw the Safari guy, I was like,
- 28:21Speaker 2: that's weird. They look AI. But I'm like, there's no
- 28:23Speaker 2: way the whole opening is going to be AI.
- 28:25Speaker 3: But then, so in Chloe, she was like, please watch
- 28:28Speaker 3: till the end. So then when I watched the end,
- 28:31Speaker 3: then they all get together and then they are in
- 28:34Speaker 3: on the joke and their bodies start to morph and
- 28:36Speaker 3: they are joking that it's AI. But it really didn't
- 28:39Speaker 3: work for today's world. It really was kind of a
- 28:42Speaker 3: flop for a promo. It wasn't a good idea, but
- 28:45Speaker 3: somebody convinced him to do it. And also they're like,
- 28:47Speaker 3: and you don't have to do anything.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Like, I mean, come on. They are like, they never
- 28:51Speaker 3: leave their house anymore. They have all the conversations while
- 28:55Speaker 3: in their home having a salad. They don't go, the
- 28:57Speaker 3: cameras don't follow them on trips anymore. Like they are
- 29:00Speaker 3: doing the bare minimum to have the show go and
- 29:04Speaker 3: be good moms and run all their businesses, which we don't.
- 29:08Speaker 3: blame them for? Why work as hard as Kim and
- 29:11Speaker 3: Khloe take Miami and open up a Vegas nightclub? They
- 29:14Speaker 3: don't have to do any of that shit anymore. So
- 29:17Speaker 3: I think the fans knowing that and then seeing that
- 29:21Speaker 3: AI open, they're like, okay, lazy bitches. No one would
- 29:24Speaker 3: ever call a Kardashian lazy, but I think people were
- 29:27Speaker 3: a little bit like, come on, girls.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I hated it because when they started that show on Hulu,
- 29:32Speaker 2: they had a great opening. Remember they had the the
- 29:35Speaker 2: drone camera that was like going into each of the
- 29:37Speaker 2: different houses. And it was like showing like the map.
- 29:40Speaker 2: properties and the offices at Skims and Kylie Cosmetics and
- 29:44Speaker 2: like it showed like the magnitude of the Kardashian empire
- 29:48Speaker 2: that I thought I was like oh is this them
- 29:49Speaker 2: trying to elevate that I was like wow they really
- 29:51Speaker 2: shot this in different parts of the world and then
- 29:54Speaker 2: when I saw that it was AI I was so
- 29:55Speaker 2: mad I was like this is the stupidest opening that
- 29:57Speaker 2: they could have come up with Yeah. It was just lame.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It flopped.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Well, also over the weekend, Shane Gillis hosted SNL for
- 30:07Speaker 3: the third time. And the history of Shane Gillis is
- 30:11Speaker 3: he was hired to be a cast member, the comedian.
- 30:14Speaker 3: And then someone, a Twitter thing went on and they
- 30:18Speaker 3: found a racist joke that he made in the past.
- 30:23Speaker 3: And it was the height of... 2020, I think. And
- 30:26Speaker 3: then so he was he got kicked off the show.
- 30:29Speaker 3: And at that time, he was nowhere nearly as popular
- 30:31Speaker 3: as he was. So it was really probably quite devastating
- 30:33Speaker 3: to him and his career. But wow, did he bounce back?
- 30:36Speaker 3: He's totally beloved, you know, killed it at the roast
- 30:41Speaker 3: of Kevin Hart and people, you know, sells out these
- 30:44Speaker 3: arenas and everything. So he did his standup monologue and
- 30:50Speaker 3: he's just telling his jokes and people are not liking
- 30:53Speaker 3: his joke about when he says, he says he's working out. Okay.
- 30:57Speaker 3: So he, this, I'll just summarize the bits because some
- 31:00Speaker 3: of the bits I thought was funny. He goes, I'm,
- 31:02Speaker 3: you know, I realized I got fat and you had
- 31:04Speaker 3: to work out and everyone's like, let's talk about hiking.
- 31:06Speaker 3: And he's like, oh, it's such beautiful views. He's like,
- 31:08Speaker 3: not me. I'm looking at my feet the whole time
- 31:10Speaker 3: hoping not to twist an ankle. I think that's a
- 31:12Speaker 3: hilarious joke and it's so true. And he goes, and
- 31:15Speaker 3: then I'm walking on it and I'm wearing a sweatsuit
- 31:18Speaker 3: and I have my hoodie up and I see this,
- 31:20Speaker 3: you know, girl coming towards me and I'm like, how
- 31:22Speaker 3: do I give the face to know like, hey, I'm
- 31:24Speaker 3: not here to kill you. Like, he's like, I know
- 31:26Speaker 3: she sees me, a guy alone who doesn't have the
- 31:29Speaker 3: body of a hiker and he's like, I'm sure she,
- 31:31Speaker 3: so I thought that was, listen, these are all things
- 31:34Speaker 3: we're talking about. Like, comedy is, Hard comedy is saying
- 31:38Speaker 3: the things in a way that's unexpected that we have
- 31:41Speaker 3: all talked about and taking a left turn and making
- 31:44Speaker 3: light of dark shit. So that was funny. Then he goes,
- 31:48Speaker 3: then I go to the gym and. These girls are
- 31:52Speaker 3: wearing these booty shorts that are so revealing and you're like,
- 31:57Speaker 3: I can't look. I don't want to look. I can't look.
- 32:00Speaker 3: And they're filming themselves. And that's true. There's been a
- 32:03Speaker 3: ton of videos where girls are working out and they
- 32:05Speaker 3: catch a guy looking at them and then they get
- 32:08Speaker 3: mad at them. And then the guy's like, now I'm
- 32:10Speaker 3: in the... And so he jokes and goes, do you
- 32:12Speaker 3: know how many videos I'm in the back of looking
- 32:15Speaker 3: like a creep now?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 3: And I didn't want to.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 3: So that's how me, a comedian is interpreting his comedy.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 32:22Speaker 3: But of course you cut the little bit and people
- 32:24Speaker 3: are like, how in this world of what's going on
- 32:27Speaker 3: with Jane Doe and the Cornell seven, like women can
- 32:30Speaker 3: wear whatever they want at the gym and blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And so, um, what's this guy's name from?
- 32:36Speaker 2: Dan Levy.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Dan Levy. It's just like, how can this be? How
- 32:40Speaker 3: can we joke about this? I see a lot more
- 32:42Speaker 3: of male nipples at the gym than like girls, but
- 32:45Speaker 3: girls can wear what they want. And I'm like, I
- 32:47Speaker 3: get it. But then it is Saturday Night Live. It
- 32:50Speaker 3: is comedy. It wasn't a political figure saying, I have
- 32:56Speaker 3: a bill banning booty shorts at the gym and I
- 32:58Speaker 3: need everyone on November 8th to go. I get it
- 33:02Speaker 3: if someone was saying that, but he's just making fun
- 33:05Speaker 3: of stuff that's going on. I sympathize with the girl
- 33:09Speaker 3: who's getting the content, filming her stuff and the guy
- 33:11Speaker 3: in the back. I also feel bad for the guy
- 33:13Speaker 3: that's happens to be walking in the back. And then
- 33:15Speaker 3: I don't feel bad for the guy who's truly a creep,
- 33:18Speaker 3: who's a gross guy. So I just think the whole
- 33:22Speaker 3: thing was a very funny commentary on what the gym
- 33:25Speaker 3: and social media is like today.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Dan Levy is such a fucking hypocrite, okay? Because gay
- 33:30Speaker 2: men objectify other men so much at the gym.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Are you saying he's gay?
- 33:35Speaker 2: Just kidding. Dan Levy, I don't know, maybe he doesn't
- 33:37Speaker 2: spend enough time at the gym and maybe he should,
- 33:39Speaker 2: but if he were at the gym and he were
- 33:41Speaker 2: seen men in booty shorts or they wear these tight
- 33:44Speaker 2: little shorts. And I know because I wear them myself
- 33:46Speaker 2: where you can see the dick imprint and you're just
- 33:48Speaker 2: flapping your dick all around the gym because you like
- 33:50Speaker 2: to be stared at because gay men are superficial in
- 33:53Speaker 2: that way. And Dan Levy in a gym, if he
- 33:56Speaker 2: went to Gold's Gym and all the gays were out
- 33:58Speaker 2: in West Hollywood, he would be about that. I mean,
- 34:01Speaker 2: the gays hook up in the fucking steam rooms at
- 34:03Speaker 2: the gym and Dan Levy knows he would be on
- 34:05Speaker 2: his knees if he were in that steam room too.
- 34:07Speaker 2: So it's pretty hypocritical to come out here and defend
- 34:11Speaker 2: all the the titties bouncing around at the gym. If
- 34:13Speaker 2: women want to feel empowered and do that, more power
- 34:16Speaker 2: to them. But Dan Levy trying to stand on his
- 34:18Speaker 2: soapbox and defend all the women when he's seen what
- 34:22Speaker 2: goes down in those steam rooms.
- 34:24Speaker 3: And I also want to say another layer of it.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Dan Levy is giving us a great show with his father,
- 34:30Speaker 3: with his father. He is very funny. He is very talented.
- 34:33Speaker 3: He is a Nepo baby. His dad paved the way.
- 34:36Speaker 3: He was the first person to do the SCTV, which
- 34:40Speaker 3: was like SNL in Canada, I believe it was called.
- 34:43Speaker 3: And he was not a stand-up. He did not have
- 34:46Speaker 3: to go through what Shane Gillis did to get here.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Shane Gillis is not an Epo baby. He got the
- 34:52Speaker 3: dream of a job on SNL and got canceled. Look
- 34:56Speaker 3: at the triumphant return that when you just keep sticking
- 34:58Speaker 3: with your talent, talent will pay off. So But again,
- 35:02Speaker 3: Dan Levy has a right to take out his phone
- 35:04Speaker 3: and make a comment about anything that we see in
- 35:06Speaker 3: this world. But that is my opinion of it.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But sometimes we don't need to comment on everything. Yes.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Like sometimes like.
- 35:13Speaker 3: And stand up is different than other things.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 3: You know, and even in even and I think even
- 35:18Speaker 3: if it's. like I commented on Pete Davidson's comment in
- 35:22Speaker 3: an interview and someone said, Heather, don't, what if he's
- 35:26Speaker 3: joking about the influencers making a lot of money? Maybe
- 35:29Speaker 3: that's part of his standup bit. I'm like, that's fine.
- 35:31Speaker 3: But it wasn't at standup.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:32Speaker 3: He chose to do it in an interview and, And therefore,
- 35:35Speaker 3: I'm going to comment that he sounds like a jealous prick.
- 35:37Speaker 3: And I stand by that he sounds like a jealous,
- 35:39Speaker 3: misogynistic prick. Because he never criticized all the streamers making money,
- 35:44Speaker 3: all the male gamers making money, all the Jake Pauls
- 35:48Speaker 3: making money. He wasn't mad about those guys making money
- 35:52Speaker 3: that weren't professional actors or comedians. Why was he so
- 35:56Speaker 3: mad about the girls? And I think it was just
- 35:58Speaker 3: very telling of where he is in life and who
- 36:00Speaker 3: he is and his character. And that's what I was
- 36:02Speaker 3: commenting on.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:03Speaker 3: But of course, if he was doing it at the
- 36:05Speaker 3: Mohegan Sun thing, joking about it, he did the little
- 36:09Speaker 3: dance and he got big laughs. Yeah, that's different. That's different.
- 36:12Speaker 3: I wouldn't have commented if it was a clip from
- 36:14Speaker 3: a standup. I just wouldn't have.
- 36:16Speaker 2: The context matters. Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Can you explain the controversy between our beloved Kelly Clarkson
- 36:23Speaker 3: and a little Brooklyn store called Art of Play?
- 36:26Speaker 2: So there's a store called Art of Play in Brooklyn
- 36:29Speaker 2: that Kelly Clarkson, I guess, had heard of online. She
- 36:32Speaker 2: decided to go into the store.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Is it like a kid's paint place? It's like a
- 36:35Speaker 3: Color Me Mine or no?
- 36:37Speaker 2: No, it's not like a Color Me Mine. So my
- 36:39Speaker 2: understanding is they have like different like art specific thing,
- 36:45Speaker 2: like puzzles and games and stuff. And so but they're
- 36:48Speaker 2: like unique. But you can also come in and you
- 36:50Speaker 2: can do the puzzles and you can play with the
- 36:52Speaker 2: stuff and interact with all of the different things that
- 36:55Speaker 2: they have in the store. And so I guess Kelly
- 36:58Speaker 2: heard about the store. She went into the store and
- 37:00Speaker 2: there was a bird. And it's a bird that like
- 37:02Speaker 2: sings and dances and it was hanging on the wall.
- 37:04Speaker 2: And Callie's like, I want that bird. And then the
- 37:07Speaker 2: cashier or the employee that was working there was like
- 37:10Speaker 2: treated her as if she couldn't afford that bird. And
- 37:12Speaker 2: so she like felt like she was being judged and
- 37:15Speaker 2: that the employee was condescending. And so she leaves the
- 37:18Speaker 2: store and then posts, I just went to- But.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Was the bird actually for sale?
- 37:22Speaker 2: Hold on, we're gonna get to stories. So she leaves
- 37:24Speaker 2: the store and then goes on Twitter and she's just like,
- 37:27Speaker 2: Art of play was so rude and condescending, acting like
- 37:30Speaker 2: I can't afford things in their store. And then she
- 37:34Speaker 2: put that out there and then the store responded and
- 37:36Speaker 2: they're like, wow, we're so shocked that Kelly Clarkson had
- 37:39Speaker 2: a bad experience in our store. People happen to love
- 37:42Speaker 2: our store. They come and do puzzles in our store
- 37:44Speaker 2: all the time. What happened was Kelly wanted a bird
- 37:48Speaker 2: named Molly and the bird Molly is not for sale.
- 37:51Speaker 2: We love the bird Molly and the bird Molly is
- 37:53Speaker 2: like a treasure, a national treasure in our store and
- 37:56Speaker 2: we would never sell her.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Wait, it's a real bird?
- 37:59Speaker 2: No, it's a fake bird that sings and dances.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 38:02Speaker 2: And so they were like, Kelly wanted to buy the bird,
- 38:04Speaker 2: but the bird is not for sale. The bird is
- 38:06Speaker 2: very special to us.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:07Speaker 2: And then Kelly then responded again. And she's like, so
- 38:11Speaker 2: not only are you rude, but you're a liar because
- 38:13Speaker 2: the bird was for sale. And I had a whole
- 38:15Speaker 2: conversation with your employee about the bird and what your
- 38:19Speaker 2: employee said specifically when I asked about buying the bird
- 38:22Speaker 2: because there was a price tag on the bird. The
- 38:25Speaker 2: employee said, oh yes, but the bird is $ 15, 000 and
- 38:29Speaker 2: made it seem like Kelly couldn't afford to buy the
- 38:32Speaker 2: bird for $ 15, 000. And then Kelly posted a photo of
- 38:36Speaker 2: the bird price tag on the wall next to the
- 38:39Speaker 2: singing bird that says $ 15, 000. So Kelly's like, so the
- 38:42Speaker 2: bird was for sale. You just didn't think I could
- 38:44Speaker 2: afford $ 15, 000 to pay for the bird. And she's like,
- 38:48Speaker 2: I do support small businesses. And that's why I went
- 38:51Speaker 2: into your store was to support your small business. And
- 38:53Speaker 2: you guys are liars and rude.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Wow.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Well, first I want to say the girl working at
- 38:57Speaker 3: the store is working during the day and didn't recognize
- 39:00Speaker 3: Kelly Clarkson. Clearly.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:03Speaker 3: And also Kelly Clarkson can then come back very classy
- 39:07Speaker 3: and say, big mistake, huge, huge. I'm going shopping for $ 15, 000
- 39:11Speaker 3: birds now. Big problem. No, I'm actually really shocked that
- 39:15Speaker 3: Kelly Clarkson, who seems like she just is the most
- 39:19Speaker 3: beloved person ever, would choose to go down this weird
- 39:24Speaker 3: social media, like Karen route. Like I'm shocked. Like I
- 39:28Speaker 3: could see like being bummed and talking to somebody about
- 39:32Speaker 3: it but I mean I don't know like Has she,
- 39:35Speaker 3: so she, Kelly hasn't apologized for that weird behavior.
- 39:38Speaker 2: No, she keeps going. She keeps, well, cause they even,
- 39:41Speaker 2: they're like, well, they quoted her song. They said, what
- 39:43Speaker 2: doesn't kill you makes you stronger. So they were like
- 39:45Speaker 2: being cheeky back. So it's like a whole beef that's
- 39:50Speaker 2: going on between this store. And Kelly Clarkson, and you know,
- 39:53Speaker 2: the girl that was probably working that day is probably
- 39:55Speaker 2: some dumb Gen Z. And she was like on her phone,
- 39:57Speaker 2: has no idea who Kelly Clarkson is. She probably thinks
- 40:00Speaker 2: Kelly Clarkson's her mom's favorite artist from back in the day.
- 40:04Speaker 2: And like doesn't had no clue. And probably Kelly probably
- 40:07Speaker 2: was like in her, you know, something very, you know, simple,
- 40:11Speaker 2: not like dressed up to where she would, you know,
- 40:14Speaker 2: be flashy. Cause that doesn't really seem like her style anyway.
- 40:17Speaker 2: And so the girl was probably just giving her Gen
- 40:20Speaker 2: Z behavior.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Also, people probably have asked a bunch of times about it.
- 40:24Speaker 3: And it really isn't, even though there's a price, it's
- 40:26Speaker 3: not for sale. So she's probably like, no, it's like, whatever.
- 40:29Speaker 3: You know, she's doing the bare minimum, as you said. But,
- 40:31Speaker 3: you know, in the end, she gave this place a
- 40:34Speaker 3: lot of publicity. What is the deal? The show ended, right?
- 40:37Speaker 3: She's not coming back to Kelly Clarkson.
- 40:39Speaker 2: She's not coming back to Kelly Clarkson.
- 40:40Speaker 3: So Kelly Clarkson is no longer airing right now.
- 40:43Speaker 2: No, but I think she's still doing her shows in Vegas. Oh, okay.
- 40:46Speaker 3: But the talk show's done because I know there's certain
- 40:49Speaker 3: people I knew from Chelsea lately that were working on
- 40:52Speaker 3: it that then I followed them and they were like,
- 40:53Speaker 3: I moved over to Jennifer Hudson.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Stuff like that. Okay. Well, I mean, she might be like,
- 41:00Speaker 3: I guess that talk show wasn't so bad. Now I'm
- 41:03Speaker 3: walking around getting in fights with people.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Over fake birds.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Yeah, because I've got all the time in the world now. Yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Over Molly the bird. Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Oh my God. This episode of Juicy Scoop is sponsored
- 41:14Speaker 3: by Nutrafol. Have you ever wondered why can't my hair

- 42:40Speaker 4: Well, what else can I do for you? You can
- 42:42Speaker 4: do it with Fava Tapa. Well, Britney posted again this
- 43:02Speaker 4: weekend an old photo. And in it, she just kind
- 43:04Speaker 4: of was saying, like, bringing up the conservatorship. She's still
- 43:08Speaker 4: mad at the dad.
- 43:31Speaker 3: That she wasn't insane back then and she had to
- 43:35Speaker 3: do this grueling job and she couldn't just get on
- 43:38Speaker 3: a plane and be with her friends. And she never held,
- 43:41Speaker 3: until she was out of the conservatorship was the first
- 43:43Speaker 3: time that she'd held a paper dollar in her hand
- 43:46Speaker 3: for five years. And then somebody wrote in the comments,
- 43:49Speaker 3: but she was going on shopping sprees. So she did
- 43:52Speaker 3: have a credit card. Listen, I've talked a lot about her.
- 43:56Speaker 3: I just think this is where it's at. She likes
- 44:01Speaker 3: to repost stuff. She likes to post old stuff. She
- 44:04Speaker 3: likes to wear, you know.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Wasn't it because she's in the basement?
- 44:09Speaker 3: She's in her house.
- 44:09Speaker 2: No, but isn't the conspiracy that they have that Justin
- 44:12Speaker 2: Timberlake has her like hidden in a basement?
- 44:14Speaker 1: What?
- 44:14Speaker 2: And this is like not really her. And that's why
- 44:17Speaker 2: they're old photos because they're like trying to make it
- 44:19Speaker 2: seem like she's still around, but she's like secretly in
- 44:21Speaker 2: a basement somewhere.
- 44:22Speaker 3: All of that stuff, which I cover too. No, she does.
- 44:25Speaker 3: She is a real human that still lives. She lives
- 44:27Speaker 3: like not too far from me. She does drive. She
- 44:30Speaker 3: got in trouble for that. She goes to restaurants in
- 44:34Speaker 3: the area. Yes, she does.
- 44:35Speaker 2: With the knives.
- 44:36Speaker 3: She likes a $ 1 bikini worn with brown sensible pumps
- 44:40Speaker 3: and a winter fedora. That's her style. And she reposts
- 44:45Speaker 3: old things from Mexico. Like I think this is a
- 44:47Speaker 3: Mexican hotel that she loves. And she gets joy from
- 44:54Speaker 3: posting it, doing it, posting it. And she never has
- 44:58Speaker 3: the comments on. But she sees how many views she gets.
- 45:01Speaker 3: And whatever that's doing is what we have. That's all
- 45:06Speaker 3: we're getting from her.
- 45:07Speaker 2: We've all, like, had old photos that we liked that
- 45:09Speaker 2: were like, oh, throwback. You know, I look cute here.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And you're like, remember when I looked cute that one
- 45:14Speaker 2: time in Mexico? Like, we've all done that. And she's
- 45:16Speaker 2: probably like, I look banging here.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Like.
- 45:18Speaker 2: She probably feels good about.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Well, I think it's like a high, like anything else,
- 45:22Speaker 3: like for all of us, when you post something and
- 45:24Speaker 3: then you go back, check in two hours and you're like,
- 45:26Speaker 3: oh my God, it's doing really good. Or why is
- 45:28Speaker 3: no one, no, I'd not have any people like that. Or,
- 45:30Speaker 3: oh shit, these are bad comments. Like, you know, like
- 45:32Speaker 3: it's anything, that's what it is. It's just an instantaneous,
- 45:36Speaker 3: you know, it's instant whatever. But, you know, there you
- 45:40Speaker 3: go with that. Okay. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Give me your thoughts so far.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Um, I like it. I just, the thing with Salt Lake,
- 45:49Speaker 2: I love Salt Lake and it is enjoyable. It's just,
- 45:51Speaker 2: to me, the women seem to like not enjoy each other.
- 45:55Speaker 2: And that's like hard to watch after a while. And
- 45:57Speaker 2: I feel like Meredith and Lisa are like on their
- 46:00Speaker 2: own island. I like that they're at least kind of
- 46:02Speaker 2: leaning into the villain arc when they crash like Bronwyn's
- 46:05Speaker 2: party and they're singing their song and Lisa's doing the
- 46:07Speaker 2: lip liner.
- 46:08Speaker 3: That's a preview, right?
- 46:09Speaker 2: I think for the next episode.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Okay, so there's a preview for the episode. When does
- 46:14Speaker 3: this air? Tuesday or Wednesday nights?
- 46:16Speaker 2: I think Wednesday nights.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Wednesday nights. So this week they showed a preview like
- 46:19Speaker 3: on Bravo TV.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 3: And Bronwyn's having a party. I guess they're still in
- 46:23Speaker 3: San Francisco. She's got her new boyfriend there, Brandon, the
- 46:26Speaker 3: 32-year-old model. And the two– and Meredith and Lisa Barlow,
- 46:32Speaker 3: which is funny because, you know, all– there was a
- 46:36Speaker 3: time when they didn't like each other and she, Meredith
- 46:39Speaker 3: said to Lisa Barlow, you brutalized my family. And Lisa
- 46:43Speaker 3: Barlow's like, oh my God, I totally didn't. Like, I'm
- 46:45Speaker 3: so love your family. And like, that's so disheartening to
- 46:48Speaker 3: hear you say that. So they get up there and
- 46:51Speaker 3: they go, we came up with a new song. And
- 46:54Speaker 3: it's so funny because, you know, Lisa Barlow has her song,
- 46:57Speaker 3: Baby Gorgeous, which is a hit. Meredith is DJing. Everybody
- 47:01Speaker 3: is singing and DJing and they get up there and
- 47:03Speaker 3: they're like, hypocrite and what's the song?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Bullshit and hypocrisy. Oh yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Bullshit and hypocrisy. That's our song. Hypocrisy and bullshit. Come
- 47:14Speaker 3: sing along. And like, and I'm just seeing this one
- 47:17Speaker 3: clip and they're like, what? And then Bronwyn's like, this
- 47:19Speaker 3: is my party. Like, this is so mean. No, they all, listen,
- 47:24Speaker 3: they are all so fun to watch individually, which is
- 47:27Speaker 3: what makes the show. But yeah, they, they're, the hatred
- 47:30Speaker 3: goes deep.
- 47:31Speaker 2: They, hate each other. Like Lisa Barlow getting ultimate girl strip.
- 47:35Speaker 2: You know, the rest of them were just hate, especially
- 47:37Speaker 2: when you see every chance they get to knock on
- 47:40Speaker 2: Lisa Barlow and ultimate girl strip. They like just were
- 47:43Speaker 2: taking jab after jab.
- 47:44Speaker 3: And then there's just so much divorce between them. And, um,
- 47:48Speaker 3: well with them, we have, we know Bronwyn's getting divorced,
- 47:51Speaker 3: which everyone did a dance for every, if you liked
- 47:54Speaker 3: Bronwyn or not, even if you hated her, you hated
- 47:57Speaker 3: Todd more.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:58Speaker 3: There wasn't anybody that was rooting for Todd. No. And
- 48:01Speaker 3: grumpy 67-year-old Todd, she's like, well, you know, Todd doesn't
- 48:05Speaker 3: really like the Brandon stuff. He doesn't really enjoy seeing
- 48:08Speaker 3: me with Brandon. Yeah, he's 67. Brandon's a 32-year-old model.
- 48:12Speaker 3: You're 40.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:13Speaker 3: And you needed Todd at a time when you were
- 48:18Speaker 3: a single mom with an eight-year-old. And now you got
- 48:21Speaker 3: on this show and he is a dismissive dick. Who
- 48:25Speaker 3: cheated on you? Imagine you marry a guy 27 years
- 48:29Speaker 3: older than you who's unattractive and he still has to
- 48:33Speaker 3: cheat on you. So you get where you need to
- 48:36Speaker 3: in life and you get your confidence from being on
- 48:39Speaker 3: the show and you're like, see ya. So we were
- 48:42Speaker 3: all for her. Then we have Angie who brings Heather
- 48:46Speaker 3: in and they have their conversation. Now, I feel really
- 48:50Speaker 3: bad for her and I thought it was an interesting
- 48:52Speaker 3: conversation that they had. However- It did seem a little planned,
- 48:57Speaker 3: you know, because it was like she was crying, but
- 48:59Speaker 3: like no tears were coming.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, there were no tears.
- 49:01Speaker 3: So it was kind of like, I think it was like, okay,
- 49:03Speaker 3: you got to get your story out.
- 49:04Speaker 2: You and what's her name? Her not gay husband.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 49:08Speaker 2: He's not gay, you guys. He is not gay.
- 49:11Speaker 3: And I guess people did their research, saw who he
- 49:14Speaker 3: was following and liking things. And there is a theory
- 49:17Speaker 3: to think that they were maybe they're breaking up because
- 49:19Speaker 3: they're on different political spectrums and that he's conservative.
- 49:24Speaker 2: She said she says that in the conversation to Heather
- 49:26Speaker 2: about how like philosophically they've just become different people, which
- 49:31Speaker 2: to me I read as politically different.
- 49:33Speaker 3: What could happen? You know, like and why?
- 49:37Speaker 2: Because what is he like? go gay flags? Like, what
- 49:41Speaker 2: is his... No, no, they think that he's conservative. Oh, okay.
- 49:45Speaker 3: And follows political, like, patriots and, you know, whatever. And,
- 49:52Speaker 3: you know, so it's interesting because people thought in the
- 49:54Speaker 3: beginning there were rumors that he did a circle jerk
- 49:56Speaker 3: and they talked about that and he was gay because
- 49:58Speaker 3: he was in a hair and there was no proof
- 50:00Speaker 3: of it. And now it's like, well, you know, he's
- 50:02Speaker 3: into this, maybe she's against that. I mean, I just
- 50:05Speaker 3: think that... I think most women... after being married for
- 50:11Speaker 3: 27 or 30 years, there's a lot of women that
- 50:15Speaker 3: if they don't need to be married anymore, they're like,
- 50:17Speaker 3: I don't care. We've grown apart. You aren't nice to me.
- 50:21Speaker 3: You're not into me. And now that I'm in this place,
- 50:25Speaker 3: I don't want to put up with it anymore. And
- 50:28Speaker 3: then the guy is like, well, now it's the Angie
- 50:31Speaker 3: show and her head is so big. And so then
- 50:33Speaker 3: they start to drift apart. And it's interesting to see
- 50:36Speaker 3: that her story is exactly what, I'm just jumping ahead,
- 50:41Speaker 3: what Emily is saying is happening on OC. It's the
- 50:44Speaker 3: exact same thing. Emily's been married for 17 years. She's like,
- 50:49Speaker 3: he is, does and says, I'm not a good mom.
- 50:51Speaker 3: He's not complimentary to me. Now that I've like lost
- 50:54Speaker 3: 35 pounds and I'm super lean and mean, he's just like,
- 50:59Speaker 3: he's resentful that he's at home. We, you know, Are
- 51:03Speaker 3: living separate lives, but we have to live together because
- 51:06Speaker 3: he's kids.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Housewives can become emasculating because like a lot of these guys,
- 51:12Speaker 2: when they go into these shows, the women, their husbands
- 51:15Speaker 2: are the breadwinner. Their husbands are the star. They're kind
- 51:18Speaker 2: of the ones that are staying at home with the kids.
- 51:20Speaker 2: And then they come on Housewives and they have a
- 51:23Speaker 2: little iconic moment or they throw a little outfit that
- 51:25Speaker 2: the Internet goes crazy for. it kind of gasses them up.
- 51:29Speaker 2: And then they realize, I don't need to just be
- 51:31Speaker 2: the housewife that's at home washing dishes all day. I
- 51:34Speaker 2: can be my own person. I'm empowered. I don't need
- 51:37Speaker 2: to just be second fiddle to my husband. And then
- 51:40Speaker 2: their fame takes off and their stardom becomes the center
- 51:45Speaker 2: of the household because then they become the provider in
- 51:47Speaker 2: the household. And I think the men don't know how
- 51:50Speaker 2: to deal with that.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Right. And when they make the money, they're like to
- 51:55Speaker 3: the man, you should be kissing my feet. You should
- 51:58Speaker 3: be super appreciative of me.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:00Speaker 3: And they're like, well, you know, when it was reversed,
- 52:03Speaker 3: you didn't do that for me. And now if I'm
- 52:06Speaker 3: a guy and I open my phone, I have to
- 52:08Speaker 3: hear from Betty from the Midwest that I don't have
- 52:10Speaker 3: a good jawline and that I'm kind of a dick
- 52:12Speaker 3: and that I should be so appreciative that you have
- 52:14Speaker 3: abs now and I don't. Yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:17Speaker 3: So it's a lot. It's a lot. But I do
- 52:20Speaker 3: I don't believe anybody is breaking up for a storyline. No,
- 52:23Speaker 3: I think they're just probably the first couple of years
- 52:28Speaker 3: were presenting like their marriage was better than it was.
- 52:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 3: And now the cracks because of the show have gotten
- 52:33Speaker 3: larger and they're halfway out to divorce city. And they're like,
- 52:39Speaker 3: I'm just going to tell it. I'm going to tell
- 52:41Speaker 3: it because I want him to see it. Maybe he'll change.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Or we're already there breaking up because we had the
- 52:46Speaker 3: Whitney Rose to ending. And some people, you know, thought
- 52:51Speaker 3: that that wasn't real. And I didn't know if it
- 52:53Speaker 3: was real in the beginning. Yeah. And then she filed
- 52:55Speaker 3: last week. So it is real.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:58Speaker 3: It's it's over with. And then people didn't think that
- 53:01Speaker 3: Heather Gay's relationship was real. And I don't know. I
- 53:04Speaker 3: think it is.
- 53:06Speaker 2: I mean, maybe I kind of see her as like
- 53:08Speaker 2: a Britney cart. Right. So when Britney had her fake
- 53:09Speaker 2: boyfriend that she had to pay. Like, that's what I
- 53:12Speaker 2: was getting with Heather and her boyfriend.
- 53:15Speaker 3: I don't think– no, I don't think– I think Brittany
- 53:16Speaker 3: was with that guy. I think, though, that he was
- 53:19Speaker 3: a loser.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:20Speaker 3: And she was convincing.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Herself that– Yeah, she wasn't into her.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Yeah, she was convincing herself that he wasn't such a
- 53:26Speaker 3: loser and trying to be such a nice person and
- 53:29Speaker 3: making it so– since you know he could take off
- 53:33Speaker 3: work to film with her and I'll pay you for
- 53:36Speaker 3: the time you're gonna miss because you have three kids
- 53:38Speaker 3: and three different moms or whatever that weird loser was
- 53:41Speaker 3: at least she admitted that he was a loser and
- 53:43Speaker 3: she's free of him but like yeah and then meanwhile
- 53:47Speaker 3: it seems like Mary is actually really connecting with her
- 53:52Speaker 3: grandfather I mean it's highly listen they've been through an
- 53:56Speaker 3: awful thing so like I was like God if one
- 53:59Speaker 3: nice thing can come from that You know, like.
- 54:02Speaker 2: We don't talk about that enough, the fact that she's
- 54:04Speaker 2: married to her grandpa.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Again, just like, you know, just like the Selma Blair
- 54:10Speaker 3: freaking out on the plane. Okay, we don't know if
- 54:12Speaker 3: that has something to do with her MS. Yeah. Because
- 54:14Speaker 3: they've lost a child, which is the worst thing on earth. Like,
- 54:16Speaker 3: I think everyone doesn't want to ever talk about that
- 54:19Speaker 3: or the church anymore. Yeah. And I think they stood away.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Well, because she's going to send Jesus after you. Right.
- 54:25Speaker 3: And so, like, the church thing is, like, not part...
- 54:27Speaker 3: Or maybe they, maybe there is stuff that they film
- 54:30Speaker 3: around the church still. And then when they get to
- 54:31Speaker 3: the editing room, they're just like, you know what, just
- 54:34Speaker 3: let's not even talk about that anymore because we only
- 54:36Speaker 3: have 22 minutes an episode and this is just sad
- 54:39Speaker 3: and we're in depressing. We know that there's so much
- 54:41Speaker 3: shade around that church and you know, and, and again,
- 54:45Speaker 3: she's going through the worst thing ever. So let's just like,
- 54:47Speaker 3: let it be. Um, I want to talk about this, this,
- 54:51Speaker 3: what you did on your show. Um, Explain what this...
- 54:56Speaker 3: Who this guy is and what the fuck he was
- 54:58Speaker 3: wearing on his feet. Because I saw this and I'm like,
- 55:00Speaker 3: what is happening here?
- 55:02Speaker 2: So, Alexander Skarsgård. He is an actor. He's in the
- 55:06Speaker 2: new movie, Wicker. Have you seen that? What that movie is?
- 55:09Speaker 3: No, what is it about?
- 55:10Speaker 2: It's stupid. So, it's this woman. She, I guess, like,
- 55:14Speaker 2: is a witch or something. Does some sort of sorcery and, like,
- 55:16Speaker 2: creates a man. Like, a sex doll, essentially. And he's
- 55:20Speaker 2: a man made out of wicker. So, he's a wicker man.
- 55:23Speaker 2: She's like.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Wait, is this a real movie? It's like a movie
- 55:26Speaker 3: at a movie theater.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Is it horror?
- 55:28Speaker 2: It just came out. No, it's like an erotic, like.
- 55:31Speaker 3: How does she fuck the people? Doesn't that, does she
- 55:33Speaker 3: get like splinters in her vagina? How does that work?
- 55:37Speaker 2: I don't know. It's the weirdest fucking movie. And so she.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Did you see it?
- 55:41Speaker 2: No, but I saw the trailer for it in theaters.
- 55:43Speaker 2: And I was like, what the fuck is this movie?
- 55:45Speaker 2: And so she creates a wicker man. And then the
- 55:48Speaker 2: whole movie is about her banging this man and having
- 55:51Speaker 2: the best sex of her life. And everybody in the
- 55:53Speaker 2: town is like, oh, my God, she's having the best
- 55:55Speaker 2: sex of her life. But this man is not real.
- 55:57Speaker 2: He's a wicker man made out of like a basket
- 56:00Speaker 2: or something.
- 56:00Speaker 3: But but. His character is him, and so then you
- 56:04Speaker 3: see a normal man.
- 56:05Speaker 2: He's the wicker man. The man is like the scarecrow,
- 56:08Speaker 2: like literally wicker.
- 56:09Speaker 3: And he goes out to dinner with her and stuff?
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah. They're like going about town. It's the weirdest thing, Heather.
- 56:15Speaker 2: He's literally like a basket-weaved wicker man.
- 56:18Speaker 3: So do we even see this guy's face in the movie?
- 56:21Speaker 2: I don't know if his face comes out at some
- 56:22Speaker 2: point or if he eventually becomes a real boy. I
- 56:24Speaker 2: don't know. But he's a wicker man for most of
- 56:27Speaker 2: the movie. To my understanding. And so this was at
- 56:31Speaker 2: the premiere. And so at the premiere, I mean, and
- 56:34Speaker 2: he's known for wearing these like very avant-garde, particularly like
- 56:40Speaker 2: shoe wear. And so these are Saint Laurent acrylic shoes
- 56:46Speaker 2: that are laced up.
- 56:47Speaker 3: So they're like loafers, but they're totally clear.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Oh, they're vinyl. Sorry, not acrylic. Vinyl. So they're vinyl, clear,
- 56:52Speaker 2: see-through shoes. Like loafers.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Or no, they're called oxfords.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Okay, but they're like a man's, like a fancy man's shoe. Yeah.
- 57:01Speaker 3: And you just see like toes out.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yeah, they're totally see-through. His foot is barefoot. So you
- 57:06Speaker 2: just see his toes out.
- 57:07Speaker 3: And then like, and then they steam up because your
- 57:09Speaker 3: feet get sweaty. Yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Imagine just like wearing vinyl shoes. I mean, it's not
- 57:13Speaker 2: like boots that are breathable or even leather shoes. Like
- 57:16Speaker 2: they're vinyl. And so, yeah, your feet are just like sweaty.
- 57:20Speaker 2: They have women's... heels like this. I remember.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:27Speaker 2: And I remember like being at like a Christian Louboutin
- 57:30Speaker 2: and they were saying that what women do is they'll
- 57:32Speaker 2: they'll puncture holes at the bottom so that your feet
- 57:34Speaker 2: can at least breathe because it does steam up. So
- 57:37Speaker 2: I don't know if he poked holes in these like
- 57:39Speaker 2: teeny tiny little holes.
- 57:40Speaker 3: I mean, I know people say like feet pics are
- 57:42Speaker 3: where it's at.
- 57:44Speaker 2: But like your feet don't even look good. These are
- 57:46Speaker 2: like pigs in a blanket. You know, they're not.
- 57:51Speaker 3: Hilarious.
- 57:52Speaker 2: It's not attractive. But yeah, he was serving.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Speaking of movies, I went and saw Verity.
- 57:56Speaker 2: I did too, unfortunately.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Should we talk about it?
- 57:59Speaker 2: Sure.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Let's talk about Verity for a minute. So I did
- 58:03Speaker 3: not know anything about the movie.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Same.
- 58:05Speaker 3: I didn't read the book.
- 58:06Speaker 4: Me either.
- 58:07Speaker 3: And my girls got tickets five days in advance. And
- 58:10Speaker 3: I would be strolling and someone would be like, let
- 58:11Speaker 3: me tell you about Verity. I'm like, I don't want
- 58:13Speaker 3: to see this bad review.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 3: There are so many things in it that did not
- 58:17Speaker 3: make sense.
- 58:18Speaker 1: No.
- 58:19Speaker 3: First of all, so the girl, Dakota Johnson, is this writer.
- 58:22Speaker 3: She's published, but she's not doing great. And she gets
- 58:25Speaker 3: called in, and they're like, this very, very famous writer,
- 58:30Speaker 3: like the Colleen Hoover who wrote the book, something happened
- 58:33Speaker 3: to her, but we don't want the press to know,
- 58:34Speaker 3: and she can't finish her obligation of finishing these two books.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 58:37Speaker 3: They say that. Car accident, but nobody knows.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 58:40Speaker 3: And so they're like, she liked your writing. So can
- 58:43Speaker 3: you write it? And then the hot husband of the
- 58:45Speaker 3: writer goes, hey, you'll have to come and live with
- 58:49Speaker 3: us because her notes are all over her office and
- 58:52Speaker 3: I can't make sense of it. I'm like, you couldn't
- 58:54Speaker 3: have boxed all that shit up and said, let's talk.
- 58:58Speaker 3: So there, we get it. So she comes and then
- 59:01Speaker 3: they don't really know if Anne Hathaway is– she's supposed
- 59:06Speaker 3: to be completely incapacitated.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Well, and Dakota Johnson doesn't know that until she gets
- 59:11Speaker 2: to the house to go live with them that she's
- 59:13Speaker 2: like fully incapacitated because the husband's hiding it from everybody,
- 59:16Speaker 2: even the publisher. Like nobody knows the extent of Verity's status.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Yes. And so there's just like dumb shit like that
- 59:22Speaker 3: that didn't really– make sense. There is some twists.
- 59:26Speaker 2: I mean, the twists weren't even good. I'm somebody that
- 59:28Speaker 2: loves a good thriller that wants to try to figure out, okay,
- 59:32Speaker 2: who's the killer? What's the plot? And I was trying
- 59:35Speaker 2: to figure it out. And then when you get to
- 59:36Speaker 2: the end and you get all the plot twists, I
- 59:38Speaker 2: was like, that's it? It was so weird and dumb.
- 59:42Speaker 2: And you can just feel it. It's obvious that there
- 59:45Speaker 2: are so many plot holes that are probably in the
- 59:48Speaker 2: book that just didn't make it into the movie.
- 59:51Speaker 3: I heard from my friend who read the book and
- 59:52Speaker 3: she really didn't like the movie because she said, you know,
- 59:55Speaker 3: the book did explain things better and there were twists
- 59:59Speaker 3: and they did make you wonder and all of that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: And I mean, it was just like so lame. Like
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: she goes to her house and she sees their bed
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: and on the, like, on the headboard, she touches and
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: sees that there's like teeth marks in it. Then she
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: starts reading writings from Anne Hathaway where she said she
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: had such like great sex with the husband that she
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: bit into this wood headboard. And I'm like, when they
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: lived in this small apartment, so I'm like, so now
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: you're rich and you live in this massive house in
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Vermont and you're like, let's take that headboard from our
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: one bedroom in New York and save it with my
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: teeth market. And then eventually she Dakota Johnson's fucks the guy.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: And so I was like, I thought there was just
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: so many more ways.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: And then puts her teeth in the teeth marks in
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: the bed, which it was so gross. I was like, what?
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: And who wants to like fuck up your teeth like that?
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: And I'm just like, oh my God. Like I just,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: it was, you know, and then he goes, oh, let's
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: go to this restaurant tonight. And she's like, I've got
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: nothing to wear. They're out in Vermont. Everybody's wearing coats
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: and boots and jeans. She gets, she borrows one of
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: her red dresses.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: And Specifically the red dress that she writes about that
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: she wore on the first night that Anne Hathaway met
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: the husband.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: I think Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson are gorgeous to
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: look at.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: The Josh, whatever his name is. I didn't love the face,
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: liked the chest.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Same. And I thought that there was, I thought it
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: was sold to me as like an erotic thriller. So
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I was expecting some crazy sex scenes.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Barely even saw his butt. You like see half of
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: his butt for like a half a second. It was not,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: there was nothing hot or sexy.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: And some of the scenes were really slow too. So slow.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: And I was like, I just think it could have
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: been so much better. And then they don't explain, okay, spoiler, whatever. Whatever.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: I'm going to, they don't explain like, anyway, the death
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: of the animal. I don't want to, I'll give you
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: one more chance to go see it before I ruin it.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: But they don't explain this. It would have made no sense.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: And they would have been seen as criminals if we knew. Well, yeah.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: And.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Well, I mean, not a spoiler, but spoiler. Like, there
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: are two deaths in the movie and neither of them
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: are explained by the end of it. Neither one.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and then... I also want to say I thought
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: whoever directed or put it together was kind of emulating
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Gone Girl.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Which is a great movie because there was the voiceover. Yeah.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Which is also a very lazy way of doing a movie. Yeah.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: But you can do it and you can like it.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: And in Gone Girl, the movie, which is a great movie,
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: which was based on a book, Jillian, I forgot her
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: last name, which is a great writer, where this woman
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: kind of fakes her own kidnapping and all that. you
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: hear this woman's voice and it sounds, the voiceover on
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Gone Girl sounds just like Anne Hathaway's voiceover.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: So I just thought it was really, I thought it
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: was emulating that kind of thing of like, oh, you know,
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: because it'd be this voice like, oh, the way he
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: looked at me. Little did I know that I was
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: going to da-da-da-da. And I was like, They're copying Gone Girl.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Even though this is not it. The whole point was
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: there's an autobiography that Anne Hathaway Verity writes that Dakota
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Johnson just happens to come across. And as she's reading
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: the manuscript, that's like the narration of Anne Hathaway telling
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: the movie.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: The truth about, you know, and then how she... And
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: one of the things in the book, whether there's twists,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: but that Anne Hathaway's character... was hiding from her husband
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: that she was not loving being home with boy-girl twins
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: when they were little, which makes her out to sound
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: like a monster because what woman doesn't like being with
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: her kids? And so it's kind of interesting that it
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: would come out right at the Lindsay Clancy case and
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: You've been very outspoken about your thoughts about the alternative
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: theories of what may have happened that horrific night where
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: three children's lives were taken. I've talked a lot and
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: interviewed people that have done the, picked apart the case
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: and kind of wondered what was the case. I have said,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: like people feel like, oh my God, you know, like
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: Zach thinks anyone that believes anything other than that what
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: was presented in court is not the case. And I
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: have always said, look, I don't know. I just think
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: the stuff that people brought up is worth talking about. Yes. And,
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: you know, prosecutors get a case.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: And their job is to prosecute. And oftentimes prosecutors do
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: prosecute the wrong person, hence why there's innocence projects and
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: things like that. And it's not the prosecutor's fault. Their
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: job is to prosecute, just like a defense attorney's job
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: is to defend. And whether the right person or the
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: wrong person gets in jail, your job, it's a weird,
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: hard job because it's just that. So tell me what
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: your thoughts are on everything and where we are now
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: in the case.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Yeah. So for me, I always err on the side
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: of what is the most plausible, right? So even when
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: it came to people thinking that like Patrick did it
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: or Patrick must have done it, a lot of it
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: is there needs to be these 15 things that need
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: to have happened. And like Patrick would have need to
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: have been, you know, a time jumper and he needed
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: to have a time machine to go back and forth.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: And he needed to have super fast running legs to
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: go to CVS and come back and kill one kid
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: and then go to the restaurant and come back and
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: then try to throw the bitch out the window. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: then his whole point was to kill Lindsay, but then
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: he doesn't kill Lindsay because he calls 911, which ultimately
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: saves her life. Like to me, the Patrick theories are
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: way more There are way more Colleen Hoover plot twists
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: to make that plausible.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Well, that's what I've said. It's so funny that you
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: say that because what I've said in covering it and
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: when people are like, all right, Heather, like what is
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: going on? And I will explain. I go, honestly, what's happening?
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: It's like the juiciest part. mid-1990s psychological thriller that you'd
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: go see by yourself on a rainy day. It reminds
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: me of this Harrison Ford movie. I can't remember it.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Presumed Innocent has a great twist at the end. It's
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: a court trial. It's that whole thing. And you're almost like,
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: oh my God. And so when people were doing it,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: it was like, this does feel like, is there going
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: to be some weird twist? And that's what made it
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: like why people got obsessed with it and thought, and
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: I don't, I know there was a thing where people
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: were like, oh my God, these crazy liberal women can't
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: believe that she did it. And it was like, I
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: think we can all agree that there were a lot
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: of things that were not properly investigated.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Correct. And I agree with that. So I mean, that's
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: just that.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: Well, yes.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: And we have to understand that this trial specifically was
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: not about whether she did it or didn't do it.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: It was about her mental And was she aware of
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: what she was doing or not? So all of the
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: evidence that was collected during the investigation did not need
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: to be presented at trial because it wasn't being litigated
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: whether or not she did it. It was already understood
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: in the courtroom with the prosecution, the defense, the jury
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: and the judge. Everybody was already under the understanding that
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: she did it. because she did admit to it. We
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: had multiple witnesses in court that claimed that she told
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: them she did it, described it. She did it systematically.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: She separated the children in the basement. She told them,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: go to God, baby. There were very specific details that
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: she gave. To me, it's very implausible that Patrick was
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: able to brainwash her. The fact that his whole intention
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: was to kill the kids and to kill her By
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: throwing her out the window. Like if you want to
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: stage a suicide, give her a bunch of pills, leave
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: her in the tub, slash her wrists and be done there.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Listen, that's why there's been so many hours to discuss it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Because there's things that you're saying that I could combat
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: with the other theories.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: And.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: It really is where I'm like, you know, and then
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: when Reddington then goes, hey, throw it out because of
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: all this. Like, you didn't do a good job. How
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: do we even know if she did it? He, again,
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: is now going around to get her to have a
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: life with sunlight at the end of the tunnel. That's
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: what he's trying to do.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Well, that's his job. His job is to cast doubt
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: and to throw everything at the wall. It's everything that
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: every defense attorney has ever done is throw everything at
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: the wall to try and get your client the best
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: case scenario. But he did after that court hearing where
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: people were so convinced that he was admitting that the
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: investigation was was insufficient, which he was going to claim
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: that the investigation was insufficient. Regardless, we don't have all
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: the findings of the investigation because they weren't presented in court.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: But he has repeatedly conned in the media and in
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: several interviews and defended Patrick Clancy and said that he's
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: not trying to add conjecture to Patrick. It's clear that
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: his client did it. And his whole point has repeatedly
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: been it was the medical center. that failed her.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: But then he comes around and says it should be
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: thrown out because she never even truly admitted it. And
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: then they said no to that. But there's another date
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: coming up in November.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Because the judge determined that there was enough evidence to
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: pursue it.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: I think as someone who loves true crimes, I have
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: a whole other show called Juicy Crimes. And I think
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: because it's like we still don't know what happened to JonBenet.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: We still don't know what happened to Nancy JonBenet.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Nancy Benet Ramsey, yes.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Nancy Benet. We still don't know. So there's things
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: that it's just one of those– that's why murder is
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: the biggest cases.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: But we do know with Lindsay though. Well, that's what
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: you think. So here's the thing. Coming back to plausibility,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: just walk with me through this. There are probably one
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: of three things that likely happened. a third party came
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: into the house, killed all the kids and tried to
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: kill her. Very unlikely, right? And by the same arguments
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: of people feeling the investigation was insufficient, you can arguably say, well,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: did the police officers check for fingerprints on the back door?
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Because if they never checked for fingerprints, that's an insufficient
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: investigation to prove that maybe a burglar did break in
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: through the back door and we never checked for fingerprints.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: So because we never checked for fingerprints, we can't confidently
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: debunk that a third party didn't break into the house
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: and kill the kids. But then you have to go
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: back to plausibility. And what would a third party motivation
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: be in killing the kids and trying to kill Lindsay?
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: It's just implausible. It's unlikely that a random burglar or
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: somebody broke into the house and committed all these murders.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: So then you boil it down to it was either
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Patrick or it was Lindsay. And so based off of
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: the circumstantial evidence that you do have, Patrick Clancy has
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: an alibi. He is seen physically at CVS. and he's
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: seen physically at the restaurant. His cell phone data proves
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: that when the phone call was made from Lindsay in
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: the house to Patrick not being in the house, that
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: he was not physically home at the time, and she
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: was physically alive. So he has a very clear alibi.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: So when you're saying that he wasn't properly investigated, first
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: of all, he was investigated because they were able to
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: substantiate that he was physically not home. That was not
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: only backed by footage at CVS, and footage at the restaurant,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: but it was corroborated by the employee at CVS and
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: the restaurant worker that have all corroborated that he was
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: physically not home. So for him to have to go
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: back and forth in order to kill the kids and
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: then try to kill Lindsay, and the biggest variable being
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: he left her alive, and there's no plausible argument that
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: anybody's been able to present as to why he left
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: her alive other than the possibility of like, Well, maybe
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: a neighbor saw him, which we have no proof or
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: evidence of that any neighbor would have seen him. And
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: it's not hard to be like, oh shit, she's still alive.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: She was supposed to die by the time I got
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: back from the restaurant. Let me snap her neck and
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: then call 911. Like there was no need for any
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: of that, for him to keep her alive at all
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: and gamble her turning him into the cops once the
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: paramedics came and saved her. And how would he then think, okay,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: now I have to brainwash her and then convince the
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: doctors and the nurses and the psychiatrists that have all
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: corroborated her confessions, because people are saying don't believe her
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: word because she may not know what actually happened, but
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: she's been clear for the last three years that she
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: did this and has described these details even in her
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: civil medical malpractice lawsuit.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: But the whole thing is, again, if she's crazy and
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: someone tells you what you did, whether you were out
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: of it or drunk or whatever, or the gaslighting, that
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: was a great presentation. I have talked enough about What
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: it is, I found it fascinating when I would see
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: these things that didn't make sense, including that there was
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: a 17-minute thing and people had driven from the house
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: to the CVS and it's a three-minute drive. Was he
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: in his car jerking off to a picture of his girlfriend? Probably. Maybe,
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: and doesn't mean that he didn't. You can have a
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: girlfriend and not kill someone. Like, I get all of that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: I do think it was a fascinating experience. tragic, fascinating
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: case to talk about that we're still talking about. I
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: think there's so many family annihilators, men and some women,
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: that it also opened that conversation of why does this
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: happen and could this happen? And why do men, when
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: they get another girlfriend, want to end their wife's life
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: and get rid of their kids? And You know, and
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: so those things sort of matched up and that's why
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: I think it's such a big discussion. But let's not
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: end on this. Let's end on, this is kind of interesting.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: This is Jessica Biel and she is going to play
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Crystal Harris' daughter. formerly Crystal Hefner, in this movie that's
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: been greenlit that is basically, it's believed that it will
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: be a positive portrayal of Hugh Hefner's life. And therefore,
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Crystal Hefner, who is his widow, stayed with him till
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: he died. She has been very outspoken in her interviews
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: and her book that it was not the love affair
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: that we once thought it was, but nobody thought it
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: was a love affair. I mean, she married him when
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: he was like 80 and she was, you know, 26
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: after he'd been married to two other women and, you know,
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: had kids already and everything. And, but she, you know,
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: she has said, I found all these images of women
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: that didn't know that they were being photographed and videotaped.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: And there's young girls too, that were On the websites
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: that weren't even 18 yet. And, you know, so she
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: reached out to Jessica Biel and shared her DM saying,
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: please reconsider being in this movie and playing me.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: I think it's rich considering she stayed in this marriage
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: and I get it. She found these photos and found
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: that he's a deplorable man. However, as a grown woman
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: and I'm somebody that believes grown women, even in their 20s,
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: have autonomy over the choices that they make. she made
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: a deliberate choice to marry this man and stay married
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: to him even after finding all the skeletons in his
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: closet until the day he died. And she benefited from
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: this Playboy empire that she now has a great life
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: as a result of. And she can continue to do
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: that by writing her book and similar to Holly Madison,
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: trashing that empire, which is totally their prerogative to do.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: But I just think it's rich to judge Jessica Biel
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: for taking on, I mean, I don't know the details
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: of the movie or what the actual portrayal of him is,
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: but she was complicit in that. She chose to marry him.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: She chose to stay with him even after she found
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: the photos. And, you know, it's convenient for her to
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: flip the narrative now that she's divorced and now can
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: profit off of trashing him. Well, she's not divorced.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: She's a widow.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, she's a widow. Right, she never got divorced.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: And she married like a cute, age-appropriate guy. So she's
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: got a great life. And good for her. And, you know,
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: Jessica Biel is a good match for her look wise.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: She's stunning.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: She looks great. And she's a great actress.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: And, you know, the thing is, just like the Michael
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: Jackson movie, it's, you know, what didn't portray him as
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: a pedophile. There's other things and documentaries that you can
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: watch that portray that side of it. People have a
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: right to portray how they want it to do. And
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: people will want to see this movie because of the
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: glamour and the time. And movie making is stepping into
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: a real time and seeing, you know, oh, this is
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: who's playing this person. And, oh, I remember that.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Oh, I remember.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Oh my God, who's going to play Holly Madison? Who's
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: going to play when they decided to do the E movie?
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: And for people that have lived it or that have not,
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: and they're like, this is an interesting story. I just
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: want to see, I want to watch it out. I've
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: read all the books, seen the documentaries. I've heard the podcast.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Now let me see a filmmaker portray it. And if
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: that's their vision of portraying it, that he gave women
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: a lot of opportunities and he was a good guy
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: and he was, you know, a great dad, even though
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: he loved all these women, it still might be a
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: very entertaining film, just like the Michael Jackson, you know?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and... Whoever is producing or creating this movie is
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: entitled to profit off of the story the same way
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Crystal and Holly have profited off of the story. I mean,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: doing a Girls Next Door rewatch podcast is monetizing it.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: How many docuseries has Holly Madison hosted now? completely profiting
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: off of the Playboy empire. Like they continue to make
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: money off of this.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: As they should.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: As they should. I'm not knocking them for doing that.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: If anything, get your bag, but also don't knock somebody
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: else for also getting their bag, but just doing it
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: a different way.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and wanting to portray it in a way, like
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: I said, where you would go and sit and And
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: maybe we don't want to see the gross side. Maybe
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: we want to see the history of how it grew
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: and how it went through all these different changes and
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: how it was failing until he brought it hot and
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: cool and how people at home thought that that life
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: didn't look that bad, that he was like this nice grandpa,
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: but he really wasn't.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: I'm curious. With all the information that's given... What it's
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: going to truly be, we don't know. There may be
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: hints of who knows, but it'll be an entry. I
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: will watch it for sure because I will be interested
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: in seeing someone's perspective.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: And not everyone had that experience that they had. You know,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: like I've talked to Jenny about this McCarthy and she
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: has nothing but, you know, her experience with Playboy and
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: with Hef. were very different. She didn't have those experiences.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: And I think they even approached her- But they were
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: never romantic. Right.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: He never tried to make her his girlfriend, or maybe
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: he didn't.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: But their point is that he would pimp out other
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: girls or take advantage of other girls and take photos
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: of them. Whereas her experience was very different. And that
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: doesn't invalidate her experience. And there were other women like
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Jenny that had a positive experience. And that doesn't invalidate
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: their experiences any more or less that it would not
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: invalidate Holly or Crystal's experience. But there are multiple women
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: that had different experiences with this Playboy empire and with Hep.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: And some of them were able to have a great
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: life because of it. And others, unfortunately, did not have
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: the most ideal life. And they're all allowed to have
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: their perspectives and to share them.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: And speaking of Jenny, Jenny McCarthy, you know, the reason
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: she had a positive professional career growing experience there. Could
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: have very much been that she was with a professional
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: manager romantically at the time.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: That was blocking him from taking advantage of her and
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: helping her be exposed so that it led to the
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: MTV show and all of these other things because she
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: had a great personality that came before almost her prettiness.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Like she was known as like funny and outgoing.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: I don't think she had a manager when she first
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: started at Playboy because she was still in Chicago.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: She wasn't with that guy?
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: No, she was, or what, I'm trying to remember the timeline. Well,
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: because she had Playboy before MTV because MTV didn't want
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: to take her to do Single Dad. Single Dad was
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: when she really blew up.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: But prior to that, she just did Playboy like on
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: a whim. She was working at like a Polish deli
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: and then eventually happened to try out for Playboy. They
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: liked her. They took some shots and then she got
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: her first like cover pictorial.
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: And then eventually she came back and did more. But
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: she credited her experience.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: Was she Playboy of the Year?
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: I think a couple of times. And she... credited that
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: to he was or Hef was married at the time
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: and things were very strict when his last wife at
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: that time she kind of had him on a tight leash.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: Yes that when he was married to which by the
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: way right here Kimberly Kimberly yeah Conrad she quote I
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: often told Hef you look up the word gentleman in
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: the dictionary and you'd find his name in photograph so
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: she is the mother of his two sons that look
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: exactly like him that are like in their late 20s
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: now And even when they were together, all the parties stopped.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: All the cronies had to go find another place to party.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: And then when they broke up, I think she and
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: the kids still lived on the property or down the way, whatever.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: And that's when he started having the seven girlfriends that
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: then turned into the three girlfriends and had the show.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: But you're right. During that time, it was... Very professional.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: Very strict, yeah.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Yeah, and so she was lucky to be during that
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: time because she wasn't a target for his advances or
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: anybody else's advances.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, which she could have been if she was there
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: at the wrong time.
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: Totally, totally valid point. See, that's the kind of thing
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: I want to see.
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: Like, I'm okay with seeing that.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: But also, we can't also hide from the good... Like,
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: people are... layered right like Hugh is a bad person
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: but he also had traits that I'm sure made him
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: a good person to certain people his ex-wife I'm sure
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: has a different relationship with how she views him his
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: kids obviously have a lot of respect or I actually
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: I think one of them now runs Playboy but like
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: People had different experiences and different interactions with him and
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: people are layered and there's nuance to who they are
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: despite their worst and best moments. And I think, you know,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: if the movie can be able to tell both sides
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: of that story, I think great. But it's all whoever
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: is creating the film also has the entitlement to give
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: their portrayal the same way Ryan Murphy is doing this
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: monster series where he takes all of these like polarizing things.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: figures in history and, like, rewrites their stories with his
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: own portrayal that people have been upset about in the past,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: you know?
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, this was a fascinating conversation, as always, with
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: Zach Peter. And tell everybody where they can find your
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: great show, what you have going on, and a very
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: exciting thing that's happening, if someone happens to be strolling
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: in Times Square in the next couple weeks, you might
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: see our boy's face smiling down at you.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Yes, this weekend I'm going to Chicago for the It
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Ends With Justice premiere in Chicago, the 18th. I'll be
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: in Chicago and then right after that I'm headed to
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: New York because I'm getting a billboard at NASDAQ in
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Times Square. So no filter billboard with my face on it.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: So I will be there Tuesday, the 20th.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: Very fun. So happy for you.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Looking as cute as ever. And everybody, I will be, reminder,
