- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for you, here for good.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Glass of something for me right now that would help.
- 0:10Speaker 3: I'm in my third straight week of scratchy throat. I noticed, man,
- 0:13Speaker 3: I noticed.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'm sorry about that.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Keep those germs away from me. Oh, I pick up your.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Wait a second over here, you are patient zero.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I've probably got something from John.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Oh, listen to this again.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Listen to me. She's learned that I'm not the one getting.
- 0:29Speaker 5: Her, except I would never have you be the judge
- 0:31Speaker 5: in a court. Judge John was okay, but Judge Frog.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Judge Froggy's not going to get it.
- 0:36Speaker 4: I don't think the odds are in my favor on
- 0:39Speaker 4: that one.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm very level headed.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Oh, yes, of course, I mean really, I'll just cheer
- 0:44Speaker 5: you on for some of your office games that you play,
- 0:47Speaker 5: and then, okay, I'll get on your good side border
- 0:50Speaker 5: the Chick fil A before the hearing.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Good morning, John, morning Frog, How you doing.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Good morning, Megan, Good morning, I'm all good, I'm all good.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Good night.
- 1:01Speaker 4: What was dinner?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Oh made homemade spaghetti last night for dinner. Oh, it
- 1:05Speaker 1: was so good. I put a little bit too much
- 1:07Speaker 1: garlic in it. Because I can still taste it this morning.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We can still smell it. But it's good. Yeah, it's
- 1:12Speaker 2: a good smell.
- 1:13Speaker 1: A little bit too much garlic in it. I apologize
- 1:15Speaker 1: for that. I mean, it's coming out of my pores. However, Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: garlic does that to me too. Last night it was
- 1:20Speaker 1: so good. The house smelled good for a while this
- 1:22Speaker 1: morning when I woke up. Before I left the house,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I'm like, didnt smell so good the next day?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Anything extra special you put in there? Aside from that garlic?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Do you put Babe bay powder or something like that.
- 1:31Speaker 2: No, I don't know.
- 1:33Speaker 4: I really should.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I want to mess around with it, but it's good
- 1:35Speaker 1: the way it is, and so I don't screw it up.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Good idea.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, I don't screw it up.
- 1:39Speaker 2: But I can tink her sometimes and goof up a
- 1:41Speaker 2: good thing.
- 1:42Speaker 5: After so much work making homemade spaghetti, do you really
- 1:46Speaker 5: want to risk it now?
- 1:49Speaker 1: And then I had to clean the stove after because
- 1:51Speaker 1: I let the water boil over put too much water
- 1:52Speaker 1: in the pot.
- 1:53Speaker 4: When I put the pasta in there, the boil you know,
- 1:55Speaker 4: bubbles up. Yeah, old, I didn't clean the stove after.
- 1:58Speaker 2: How about you, Megan, what do you do this night?
- 2:00Speaker 4: Yesterday I did a lot of cleaning.
- 2:03Speaker 5: I had laundry that had been piled up from being
- 2:06Speaker 5: out of town for the last couple of weekends. So
- 2:09Speaker 5: I think I did three loads of laundry and I
- 2:13Speaker 5: just have one more to do and then I have done.
- 2:16Speaker 5: The laundry monster is getting slight in my house.
- 2:19Speaker 2: All right, very good?
- 2:21Speaker 4: What'd you do?
- 2:21Speaker 3: We went yesterday? Last night we went to the ball
- 2:24Speaker 3: when Episcopal softball game. It was a regional semifinal. I
- 2:27Speaker 3: think I think they played the finals, but they have
- 2:29Speaker 3: to hit the road. So we went out. It was
- 2:31Speaker 3: a perfect night. It was so perfect. The clouds were nice.
- 2:34Speaker 3: It was like in the mid seventies, a little breeze
- 2:36Speaker 3: working perfect softball afternoon evening.
- 2:39Speaker 2: So we did that.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Sounds wonderful.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It was beautiful yesterday. A few showers around and like
- 2:44Speaker 1: I said, we need them. Can't complain about it, but
- 2:46Speaker 1: we do need them.
- 2:46Speaker 2: But it was a nice day. Ask Yeah, we're gonna
- 2:48Speaker 2: be dry. Looks like for a few days.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Our buddy Lewis Turner from First Coast News chief meteorologist YEP,
- 2:54Speaker 3: saying the rain looks like it's going to be out
- 2:56Speaker 3: and maybe till Sunday, so awesome.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Got a pop quiz coming up right around seven to ten,
- 3:01Speaker 1: your chance to play to win Metro Dinner gift card.
- 3:04Speaker 1: We'll pay for your dinner, but you're gonna have to
- 3:05Speaker 1: work for a little bit with the pop quiz. But
- 3:08Speaker 1: right now, let's get into Megan's three things you need
- 3:10Speaker 1: to know to get you through your Jack's Thursday.
- 3:12Speaker 5: What's going on, Meghan, I've got an update on the
- 3:15Speaker 5: Iron Man Race that's going on on Saturday. So the
- 3:20Speaker 5: Coastcard is stepping in to help with creating this big
- 3:24Speaker 5: safety zone in the Saint John's River to keep everyone safe.
- 3:28Speaker 5: You know, they're swimming over two miles, so they're shutting
- 3:31Speaker 5: down all boating traffic from seven to eleven in the
- 3:36Speaker 5: morning on Saturday, so don't get stuck because that's a
- 3:38Speaker 5: long time to be part of waiting.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I mean, it's like waiting for the bridge to come
- 3:43Speaker 4: up finally.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Times of millions, So that's kind of cool. They're bringing
- 3:47Speaker 5: in the Coastguard for reinforcements. The Jags are back in
- 3:50Speaker 5: London this upcoming season Week five and six. They're playing
- 3:54Speaker 5: the Eagles and then the Texans. So excited about that,
- 3:59Speaker 5: and in Saint John's County, the Ocean and Fishing Pier
- 4:03Speaker 5: it's closed for repairs. But get this, it's shut down
- 4:06Speaker 5: all the way through November. So makes me think must
- 4:09Speaker 5: be pretty bad if they've got to shut it down.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Wq IK The Big Show with Froggie, John and Meghan.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I clear my throat. I clear my throat every time,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and I think, Okay, this is going to be clean,
- 4:19Speaker 3: and then I go contrary ninety nine one. That's a
- 4:23Speaker 3: problem when you go live, man is the way it works.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Sorry about that. I hope everything's good. John's voice has
- 4:29Speaker 3: been failing for a couple of weeks now.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yes it has.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And then I think I'm on the rebound, and then
- 4:33Speaker 3: I'll go, okay, I think I'm.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Good, and then.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Like you're sixteen all over.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Ya, I know it exactly? Would you like to go
- 4:41Speaker 1: to the prom? I know we got a lot going
- 4:46Speaker 1: on in Nashville. Let's get right into Megan's music City minute.
- 4:49Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 4:50Speaker 2: You said there are records being broken.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Yes, a high probability that there's going to be at
- 4:54Speaker 5: least a couple that end up getting broken. The ACMs
- 4:57Speaker 5: are this Sunday Sania Twain is hosting, and there are
- 5:01Speaker 5: five records that could be broken. So Lady Wilson, she
- 5:05Speaker 5: could become the first female ever to take home the
- 5:09Speaker 5: title of Entertainer of the Year three years in a row,
- 5:12Speaker 5: which is crazy.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Miranda Lambert currently has the Song of the Year record
- 5:18Speaker 5: because she's got seven wins, but this year she's nominated
- 5:22Speaker 5: for two. One of them is Songwriter Award for choosing Texas.
- 5:26Speaker 2: That's a good chance that one's going to win. Yea,
- 5:28Speaker 2: a good chance for that one.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Luke Colmbs could accomplish what's being called the triple Crown.
- 5:34Speaker 5: I didn't even know that this was an award title
- 5:37Speaker 5: because it's so crazy to think someone could win all this.
- 5:41Speaker 4: It's when someone has earned, at any point of their.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Career all three of these awards, New Artist, Artist of
- 5:51Speaker 5: the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.
- 5:53Speaker 4: So he's up for Entertainer of the Year. If he
- 5:55Speaker 4: takes that home, he'll have the triple card.
- 5:57Speaker 2: New Artists, Male Artist, and then Entertainer of the Year.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Yep, Chris Stapleton, he is looking like he could surpass
- 6:04Speaker 5: George Straight becoming the most awarded male artist in all
- 6:10Speaker 5: of ACM history.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Crazy George Strae has.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Twenty four wins, but Chris Stapleton's right behind him twenty
- 6:16Speaker 5: one and he's up for five awards this year, and
- 6:20Speaker 5: if he does this, he'll also tie Merle Haggard for
- 6:25Speaker 5: the most Male Artist of the Year awards wins.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Getting into some high cotton there with George Straight and
- 6:31Speaker 2: Merle Haggard.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Yeah, Chris Stapleton's only one behind Merle Haggard because Merle
- 6:35Speaker 5: had six Chris has five.
- 6:37Speaker 4: So this is.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Gonna be a froggie John and Meghan in Country ninety
- 6:40Speaker 3: nine one WQIK. There's his trend. And I thought Russians
- 6:44Speaker 3: had a little bit more sense than this our new
- 6:47Speaker 3: trend making the rounds in Russia where some men are
- 6:51Speaker 3: paying paying now to have their ears surgically deformed. Why
- 6:57Speaker 3: because they want to look like an MMA fighter in wrestling?
- 7:00Speaker 2: What like? What is happening? Like?
- 7:03Speaker 1: What the heck is happening? Do you ever wonder like
- 7:07Speaker 1: where do we what happened? Something fell into the matrix
- 7:09Speaker 1: and we'd the dumbest things are happening.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It's true?
- 7:12Speaker 3: Are we just learning that people have been doing dumb
- 7:14Speaker 3: things forever and we just have more opportunities to learn
- 7:17Speaker 3: about them or people are getting dumber.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Are we talking like cauliflower ear?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yes, they're making They're giving themselves cauliflower ears, the lumping,
- 7:25Speaker 3: misshapen ear that you see on veteran fighters. And these
- 7:30Speaker 3: guys just wanted without having to go through the trudgery.
- 7:32Speaker 3: So when they're in the bar and a woman goes, hey,
- 7:35Speaker 3: you must be mm fight that.
- 7:38Speaker 4: No, we could give him a calflower for free.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Makes us for volunteering.
- 7:43Speaker 4: You want do you want califlower?
- 7:45Speaker 5: No?
- 7:45Speaker 4: I do not know.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And I just googled the image caulifier. No, do yourself
- 7:49Speaker 1: a favor. Do not google image cauliflower ear.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Do not.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Don't do it. And these guys in Russia are paying
- 7:56Speaker 2: big money for it.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I just it's just.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Weird people have, Like people always want what they don't have.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You know, you see you'll see somebody who and it's
- 8:06Speaker 1: really a human condition. You'll see like, oh, you'll see
- 8:09Speaker 1: somebody will get breast augmentation to have larger Yeah.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Flury with Country ninety nine one WQIK. We go to Orlando.
- 8:19Speaker 3: A commencement speech at the University of Central Florida took
- 8:23Speaker 3: a bit of an awkward turn and her name is
- 8:27Speaker 3: Gloria Caulfield, and she had this to say to the
- 8:31Speaker 3: College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Communication
- 8:35Speaker 3: at UCF. And she starts talking about something that a
- 8:38Speaker 3: lot of people are not big fans of.
- 8:40Speaker 1: The rise of artificial intelligence, is the next industrial revolution?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Here's the answer to them. They are booing her.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Okay, I struck a chord.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Yeah, listen to her voice change.
- 9:01Speaker 4: May I finish?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Please help me listen to this part.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, she thought that was going to get applause.
- 9:14Speaker 4: No, talk about me. Now, what's going on?
- 9:16Speaker 3: It's the big show, Frankie, John and Meghan your opportunity
- 9:19Speaker 3: to win a fifty dollars gift card to Metro Diner.
- 9:21Speaker 3: It's just a couple of minutes away.
- 9:23Speaker 1: She goes, No, usually, I mean when it's cold outside,
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's not safe to leave your house. Yeah, that's normally
- 9:30Speaker 1: me just I'm obviously exaggerating.
- 9:31Speaker 3: But you know, listen, whatever works for you. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 3: watch you get the fifty five. He ain't exaggerating, No,
- 9:36Speaker 3: he's not.
- 9:37Speaker 1: No, at this point, it's not even safe to leave
- 9:40Speaker 1: your house at any point.
- 9:41Speaker 4: And I'll tell you why.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Why, Because you cannot leave your house without spending one
- 9:45Speaker 1: hundred dollars.
- 9:46Speaker 2: They ain't that the truth? That's true everything and so ready.
- 9:50Speaker 1: The other day I was I got a credit card bill,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and when I picked myself up off the floor and
- 9:57Speaker 1: wondered how we were going to pay the credit card
- 9:59Speaker 1: bill and figure this out, Lisa said, let's go grab
- 10:02Speaker 1: some lunch. I'm like, we can't afford to eat lunch,
- 10:05Speaker 1: So she said, we'll just run the firehouse. I get
- 10:07Speaker 1: in my truck. It's empty, it needs gas. A trip
- 10:11Speaker 1: to firehouse cost us one hundred and twenty dollars. Twenty
- 10:14Speaker 1: bucks for the firehouse and one hundred dollars in gas
- 10:17Speaker 1: in my truck. You cannot leave your house for less
- 10:19Speaker 1: than one hundred bucks right now.
- 10:21Speaker 4: No, you can't anytime you go sit down to eat.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I mean in.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Town, you're least for two people, you're least gonna spend
- 10:29Speaker 5: sixty dollars. And then you've got the other stuff too.
- 10:33Speaker 5: You know what would do you want to a soda?
- 10:36Speaker 5: Do you want a cocktail?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Right?
- 10:38Speaker 4: And in Jack's it's like.
- 10:40Speaker 5: How could you on a beautiful day with the garage
- 10:42Speaker 5: door open at these restaurants downtown, how could you not
- 10:45Speaker 5: have a cocktail and then everyone.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Else is Then next thing you know, you end up
- 10:50Speaker 4: on the.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Rooftop of Hoptingers and you're like, how did we get here?
- 10:53Speaker 4: It's so pretty right.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Magan somehow spends two hundred dollars every time she gets seriously,
- 10:59Speaker 3: but it's some money. I'll be talking about food because normally,
- 11:02Speaker 3: if we're getting food, I'll get it and bring it home.
- 11:05Speaker 3: And my wife just doesn't go through fast food much.
- 11:08Speaker 3: She just doesn't. I'll be the one that might bring
- 11:10Speaker 3: some fast food home. So what we're in the car
- 11:13Speaker 3: together and then we're going through somewhere like Wendy's and
- 11:16Speaker 3: we're each getting a single or something, and it was
- 11:19Speaker 3: like twenty four bucks by the time you get the meal.
- 11:22Speaker 3: And she was like, what twenty four dollars at Wendy's
- 11:26Speaker 3: Do we say, honey.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Honey, Yes, that's how That's how it is everywhere.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Now that's why I say, don't leave your house. But
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's expensive to stay home.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Yes it is.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I mean right now you can. I mean everything is
- 11:39Speaker 1: just more expensive. Every time you turn around. It's like
- 11:41Speaker 1: another hundred bucks, another one hundred bucks, another one hundred bucks.
- 11:44Speaker 3: That's why I love the fact we give you an
- 11:45Speaker 3: opportunity to win one thousand dollars.
- 11:48Speaker 4: That's right, thirteen times a day.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You got that right. We'll do it at night file
- 11:51Speaker 2: first up.
- 11:51Speaker 5: That's enough to pay for all your subscriptions.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Really, it's getting a Mega's Three Things you need to
- 11:59Speaker 1: know to gets you through this Jacksonville Thursday. The best
- 12:02Speaker 1: part about Megan's three Things they are free. We're not charging.
- 12:05Speaker 4: They are free.
- 12:06Speaker 5: It's free knowledge for the world. Next Wednesday, I want
- 12:09Speaker 5: to put this on your radar. There's a big job
- 12:11Speaker 5: fair happening at ever Bank. They're looking to fill positions
- 12:14Speaker 5: left open for the upcoming season, like the end stadium job.
- 12:18Speaker 5: So if you are looking for another job, it'd be
- 12:22Speaker 5: pretty cool. We could be at the stadium during these
- 12:25Speaker 5: games and making a little bit of money.
- 12:26Speaker 4: So that's next Wednesday.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Saint John's County Ocean and Fishing Pier it's closed down
- 12:31Speaker 5: for repairs. It's shutting down all the way through November.
- 12:35Speaker 5: So a lot of people are not happy to hear this,
- 12:38Speaker 5: but I'm assuming if it's closing down throughout the entire
- 12:40Speaker 5: summer and big chunk of the fall, it probably.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Needs to be fixed now.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Good thought and the Coast Guard is helping out with
- 12:48Speaker 5: keeping the Ironman contestants safe this Saturday as they make
- 12:52Speaker 5: their seventeen hour race seven to eleven am in the
- 12:56Speaker 5: Saint John's River. There's a safety zone, so it's going
- 12:58Speaker 5: to be shutting down all boating traffic. So don't get
- 13:01Speaker 5: on your boat try to go through there because this
- 13:03Speaker 5: two and a half mile swim, nobody is coming through
- 13:06Speaker 5: except those contestants.
- 13:08Speaker 3: This city's going to be. If you don't really have
- 13:11Speaker 3: to go somewhere Saturday morning, I would choose not to
- 13:14Speaker 3: because somebody is going to be running, biking, or swimming
- 13:17Speaker 3: in your way. Probably yeah, somewhere.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Just don't do it. Don't do it. It's three things
- 13:22Speaker 4: you need to know.
- 13:24Speaker 2: We got to get some contests to play the pop quiz.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Looking for colors nine and ten. Right now, somebody's going
- 13:32Speaker 1: to go to Metro Diner and eat on us, and
- 13:34Speaker 1: you don't have to eat off of us. That's not sanitary.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Now we're going to pay for it, is what I'm saying.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I didn't take that very clear. I don't want to
- 13:42Speaker 1: come across on us, not off of us.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Metro Diner.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I know they're proud to sponsor this segment nine and
- 13:53Speaker 3: ten playing the Pop Quiz nine on to a country
- 13:56Speaker 3: song you know, and I think the boot ended up
- 13:58Speaker 3: saying it was Luknbock Texas. Yes, and we were thinking
- 14:01Speaker 3: of George Jones and other songs. People were calling in
- 14:03Speaker 3: with their favorite first line of a song. Uh that one,
- 14:07Speaker 3: Miranda Lambert. I cut my bangs with some rusty kitchen scissors.
- 14:10Speaker 3: That's one of my all time favorite. That's pretty good.
- 14:13Speaker 3: We're the big show. It's froggy, John and Meghan. So
- 14:15Speaker 3: good to be with you.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So I learned something just yesterday. I'm one of the
- 14:20Speaker 1: people I don't like that. I was today years old
- 14:22Speaker 1: when I learned, but yesterday I was yesterday years old.
- 14:26Speaker 1: So let me ask you guys, Meggan, would you brush
- 14:29Speaker 1: your teeth in the morning? How much toothpaste do you
- 14:32Speaker 1: put on the toothbrush?
- 14:34Speaker 4: A little bit smaller than a pee?
- 14:37Speaker 2: John?
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm about to say, Okay, then I'm an idiot.
- 14:40Speaker 3: What have you been doing? You've been loading up doing
- 14:42Speaker 3: double layers. I fill the whole day thing. Yes, I
- 14:48Speaker 3: just do it because my whole life. I am fifty
- 14:50Speaker 3: years old.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I can tell you as long as I can remember,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I have filled the entire link of the toothbrush with toothpaste.
- 14:56Speaker 1: That's how I saw it onlike the Aqua Fresh and
- 14:58Speaker 1: the Crest com that's what you did.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Of course, I'm not agile enough to have a full
- 15:04Speaker 3: toothbrush full of toothpaste, because half of it we would
- 15:07Speaker 3: go into the.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Same Yeah, that's true.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and you have to go buy so many more
- 15:11Speaker 5: bottles of toothpaste.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I mean, how many are you guys going through a
- 15:14Speaker 4: month in your house.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That's how this happened because at least about we usually
- 15:19Speaker 1: get it. She we kind of came upon neaeding toothpaste
- 15:22Speaker 1: at the same time, not long ago, and so I
- 15:26Speaker 1: was like, hey, I'm out. She's like, how are you out.
- 15:29Speaker 1: She's like, I just the com much I have left.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I'm like, well, you're not brushing your teeth enough. And
- 15:33Speaker 1: she's like, how much are you using. I'm like, I'll
- 15:35Speaker 1: just covered the toothbrush. She's like, that's it. And then
- 15:38Speaker 1: she showed me all these videos online and sure enough,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm the only idiot. I was hoping one of you
- 15:42Speaker 1: is doing the same too. Sorry, but not sorry, you guys.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Use different bottles of toothpaste. Yeah, that's a whole nother thing.
- 15:49Speaker 1: She likes to have her own toothpaste tube and I
- 15:51Speaker 1: have my toothpaste tube.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Whatever. She's Listen, man, I told you she's weird.
- 15:55Speaker 4: You're learning, you're finding it out.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And one day at a time, you're learning this, Megan.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Is that normal? Is that weird? John? Do you I think.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Jill has bought hers in the past.
- 16:06Speaker 3: You bought like a whitener one time or something, you know,
- 16:08Speaker 3: something like that, And so I think we still probably
- 16:10Speaker 3: have separate ones, but we share.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Is it is that gross to share?
- 16:15Speaker 2: No?
- 16:15Speaker 4: It's coming on, So okay, did we share? We have
- 16:18Speaker 4: one tube toothpaste.
- 16:20Speaker 1: One tooth I know what else has done in that mouth?
- 16:22Speaker 1: She just find sure and toothpaste and me trust me. Yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 1: we got a pop quiz coming up in just a
- 16:29Speaker 1: few minutes.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Don't you go anywhere? Chris in Middleburg, we start with you.
- 16:34Speaker 3: This is the recent data. What percentage of American adults
- 16:38Speaker 3: say religion is very important in their lives? Seventy Tammy?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Is that number higher or lower? I must say probably lower?
- 16:45Speaker 2: You are correct?
- 16:46Speaker 3: That number is forty seven percent right now, so less
- 16:49Speaker 3: than half, I don't say very important in their lives?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Alrighty so Tammy, you went in the right direction, so
- 16:55Speaker 3: you get that point. Very good, Tammy, This question as
- 17:00Speaker 3: yours first. He was just here a while back, always
- 17:02Speaker 3: putting on an incredible show.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Eric Church. How old is Eric Church? Tammy goodness? Forty two?
- 17:10Speaker 3: Chris is the older or younger younger? You know, Eric Church?
- 17:14Speaker 3: Actually older. He's been doing this for twenty something years now.
- 17:17Speaker 3: He is forty nine years old. Really, Chief is forty
- 17:20Speaker 3: nine years old. So Tammy gets that point. Tammy's going
- 17:23Speaker 3: to be our winner today. Oh, thank you, Thank you
- 17:28Speaker 3: so much.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Chris, thank you for playing. We appreciate it, buddy, no problem.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Congratulations Tammy.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Fifty dollars gift cards for Chicken and Forrey ninety nine
- 17:36Speaker 3: one wq I K, good morning, Welcome in to your Thursday.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Already Friday E with the big show. It's froggy John
- 17:42Speaker 3: and Meghan.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you I say it all the time. John
- 17:45Speaker 1: is a walking, talking human music encyclopedia. And Megan, I
- 17:51Speaker 1: proved it again today and you heard it. And I
- 17:54Speaker 1: promise you, Meghan, I promise, promise, promise on everything. I own, everything,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I have, everything, I love John and I did not
- 18:02Speaker 1: rehearse what just happened.
- 18:04Speaker 4: That was crazy.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I would even agree to that. That was crazy.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So I was driving in this morning and I heard
- 18:10Speaker 1: an older country song. I did not know how old
- 18:13Speaker 1: it was. I just knew it was old because I
- 18:15Speaker 1: remember listening to it with my dad in the car
- 18:17Speaker 1: when the little kid. So I'm driving in, I listened
- 18:20Speaker 1: to the song. I like the song. So I said
- 18:22Speaker 1: to John, I heard an old country song on the
- 18:25Speaker 1: way in today. Do you want to try and guess
- 18:26Speaker 1: what it was? He's like, yeah, So I gave him
- 18:28Speaker 1: a clue. Now, Megan, you were sitting here. I told
- 18:31Speaker 1: him it was a female. I looked up the year
- 18:34Speaker 1: that the song was released, and I told John that
- 18:38Speaker 1: it was a one word song. That those are the
- 18:42Speaker 1: only three three clues I gave him and Meghan. How
- 18:45Speaker 1: long did it take him to identify it?
- 18:47Speaker 5: Like a fraction of a second, There was no buffering time.
- 18:50Speaker 5: John immediately scary it, says, I'd never even heard of
- 18:54Speaker 5: this song?
- 18:55Speaker 4: What was it?
- 18:55Speaker 2: Nobody?
- 18:56Speaker 4: Nobody, so.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Nobody?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Nineteen eighty two Sylvia a big hit by Sylvia Kurr.
- 19:03Speaker 1: But I didn't tell you, Sylvia. I didn't say anything.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Now I told you nineteen eighty two a female and
- 19:09Speaker 1: one word literally blurted it out. Yeah that was a
- 19:16Speaker 1: big hit, Yes it was, but it was weird.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I'll even I'll give me one for that one, because
- 19:21Speaker 3: normally I just go, I don't know where that comes from.
- 19:24Speaker 2: That one. I kind of scared myself that I knew
- 19:26Speaker 2: that so quickly.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I was blown away. I'm telling you, there's anything you
- 19:30Speaker 1: ever want to know about a song, John knows it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I used to get those calls. My wife does say
- 19:35Speaker 1: before there was a before Google, there was John when
- 19:38Speaker 1: it came to music, and he'd get those calls in
- 19:41Speaker 1: the middle of the night. I mean like at one
- 19:42Speaker 1: thirty to wake us up, and I'd roll over John,
- 19:45Speaker 1: who's sang that song that goes like Shalla?
- 19:49Speaker 2: I go like moody blues, Yeah, moody bok click. They
- 19:53Speaker 2: were drunk at some party calling up man. Wow, John's incredible.
- 19:58Speaker 2: What's got any of your three things you need to know?
- 20:00Speaker 1: For?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Here at Jackson Real Thursday? What is going on?
- 20:03Speaker 4: Meghan Walla?
- 20:04Speaker 2: I try to stump John over here. I'll find another.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Song, all right.
- 20:07Speaker 5: This season, the Jags will be back in London week
- 20:10Speaker 5: five and six. They're playing the Eagles and the Texans
- 20:14Speaker 5: excited for that.
- 20:15Speaker 2: We got the full schedule coming out tonight.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Ooh yes, cannot wait.
- 20:18Speaker 5: At Saint John's County Ocean and Fishing Pier, it's going
- 20:22Speaker 5: to be closed for repairs all the way through November.
- 20:25Speaker 4: It's a long time to be shut down, especially through
- 20:28Speaker 4: the summer.
- 20:28Speaker 2: But like you said earlier, there's probably a good reason
- 20:31Speaker 2: it's going to be shutting out.
- 20:32Speaker 4: That probably a good reason.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, probably happy that it is closed.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Absolutely Next Wednesday, I want to put this on your radar.
- 20:38Speaker 5: There's a big job bear happening at EverBank to fill
- 20:41Speaker 5: open positions left at the stadium for the upcoming season.
- 20:44Speaker 4: So if you're looking for a job.
- 20:45Speaker 3: With Country ninety nine one WQIK with Froggy, John and Meghan,
- 20:49Speaker 3: thank you so much for making us a part of
- 20:51Speaker 3: your day.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Jude, I saw the strangest thing I have ever seen yesterday. Okay,
- 20:57Speaker 1: so I'm sitting at the stop light dying and he
- 21:00Speaker 1: gets out of his car, changes his shirt, like, takes
- 21:05Speaker 1: one shirt totally off, puts another shirt on in the
- 21:09Speaker 1: middle of the road. Yes, why couldn't you do that?
- 21:12Speaker 1: I mean, I know I had no issue with you
- 21:14Speaker 1: changing clothes in your car. I've done it multiple times.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I'm actually pretty good at it. I've done it while
- 21:18Speaker 1: while driving on ninety five. I've done it, but I've
- 21:22Speaker 1: done it in my vehicle. This guy literally got out
- 21:24Speaker 1: of the car, gets out of the car, and I'm like,
- 21:26Speaker 1: what is this dude doing? He does the arm pole
- 21:30Speaker 1: where he crosses his arms and pulls the shirt over
- 21:32Speaker 1: his head and then he put another shirt on. But
- 21:35Speaker 1: it was a button up shirt, so he could have
- 21:37Speaker 1: done that.
- 21:37Speaker 4: In the car.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Well, tuck it in instead of tuck in? Did he
- 21:40Speaker 2: have to get in? He may have needed to tuck
- 21:42Speaker 2: it in. He didn't get time because the light turned green.
- 21:45Speaker 4: But he he had to.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But it was just strange.
- 21:48Speaker 4: I'm like, why wouldn't you do that in your car?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Only if I thought if he had room and time
- 21:52Speaker 3: to tuck it in, because that's tough to tuck it in.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Then it looks like you tucked in your shirt while
- 21:57Speaker 3: you were driving.
- 21:58Speaker 4: But shouldn't you wait anyway so it doesn't get all
- 22:00Speaker 4: wrinkled and stuff in your pants? And then it comes up?
- 22:03Speaker 2: And it was weird?
- 22:05Speaker 4: What the heck?
- 22:06Speaker 2: It was weird?
- 22:08Speaker 4: Why do people do things like that? We're on stage
- 22:11Speaker 4: and we're in our car.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You don't realize that, Like if you pick your nose
- 22:13Speaker 1: when you're in your car, people are watching you. Yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: in the car, you're on stage, like you you know.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Sometimes you ever look over to at a traffic light
- 22:23Speaker 1: and you see somebody singing. They're like singing their butt off,
- 22:26Speaker 1: heck yeah, and sing and sing and singing, and then
- 22:29Speaker 1: you're maybe listening to the same radio station they are,
- 22:32Speaker 1: so you're like, yeah, yeah, it wasn't the same thing.
- 22:34Speaker 2: But then they catch you looking at them and they stop.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I know, Yeah, yep, it's so true.
- 22:38Speaker 3: We feel like we're guilty for doing things in our car,
- 22:41Speaker 3: even though it's something as innocuous as.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Singing, or even like eating in the car.
- 22:45Speaker 5: If I passed by someone and I'm chouned on taco
- 22:47Speaker 5: bell and I know I'm driving kind of erratic because I.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Need a sauce. I need a sauce one hand wheel,
- 22:54Speaker 4: one hand, you.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Blow in one hand, the wheeling your knee.
- 22:57Speaker 5: When I drive right by another car, I put the
- 23:00Speaker 5: taco down because I don't want them to know. I
- 23:03Speaker 5: don't even think I'm drunk. Then, you know, self conscious
- 23:06Speaker 5: driving here. Yeah, it is too funny. Man, it is weird.
- 23:10Speaker 1: You know, being on your cell phone and driving is illegal,
- 23:12Speaker 1: as it should be. I'm not I'm not saying it
- 23:14Speaker 1: shouldn't be. I say should I say taco bell should
- 23:17Speaker 1: be too. But people eating their car, people putting make
- 23:20Speaker 1: up on. Like right now there is somebody driving to
- 23:22Speaker 1: work putting make up on, and that is just as
- 23:24Speaker 1: distracting as being on a cell phone.
- 23:26Speaker 4: It's so dangerous.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Lady on Old Saint Augustine Road last Sunday, we're heading
- 23:31Speaker 3: out to Nakaty for a wedding reception and we're taking
- 23:34Speaker 3: the low road. There is a lady and we can
- 23:36Speaker 3: tell something's up with her. Either she is about to
- 23:38Speaker 3: die or she's distracted while she's driving. And we try
- 23:42Speaker 3: to and I get around her. She has a book
- 23:45Speaker 3: in the steering wheel and she got Really it's Froggie,
- 23:49Speaker 3: John and Meghan and Froggy. I gotta tell you you
- 23:51Speaker 3: have inspired me, and I'm trying to get Megan to
- 23:53Speaker 3: be inspired as well.
- 23:55Speaker 1: We went walking. It's a good thing. I'm like, what
- 23:59Speaker 1: about that? Maybe what John would want to do. I
- 24:03Speaker 1: We'll do a lot of things John would never do,
- 24:05Speaker 1: But maybe what have I done?
- 24:07Speaker 4: Good?
- 24:07Speaker 2: We went walking yesterday, my wife and the two year old.
- 24:11Speaker 3: He took his tricycle and we went walking on the
- 24:13Speaker 3: Ballwin Trail, which is just a couple of miles. It's
- 24:16Speaker 3: right behind us really, so to get to a place
- 24:19Speaker 3: where we have access to the Ballwin Trail, which is
- 24:21Speaker 3: like a fourteen to fifteen mile a little stretch that
- 24:23Speaker 3: used to be railroad and now they've turned it into
- 24:26Speaker 3: a paved, beautifully canoped with trees trail, walking trail, biking
- 24:31Speaker 3: biking trail.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Wow. And so we went walking on it.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Five And we've lived out there for a few years now,
- 24:36Speaker 3: but we still the first time we'd really really walked it.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And we went out there and I thought, oh, this
- 24:41Speaker 3: is really cool. We need to go out and get
- 24:42Speaker 3: walking on the ball And Trail. And then I saw
- 24:44Speaker 3: there's a QR code and they say there's a run
- 24:47Speaker 3: on a walk every Saturday morning that you can do
- 24:50Speaker 3: a five k there. So I know Megan and her
- 24:53Speaker 3: Man OLLI will love them a five k, And so
- 24:57Speaker 3: I was thinking, like Saturday mornings, we could get people
- 24:59Speaker 3: together there. I haven't done it yet, but I'm saying
- 25:01Speaker 3: we could get people and invite our listeners to come
- 25:04Speaker 3: out and get moving with us, because I want to
- 25:06Speaker 3: walk this thing and I want to do a five
- 25:08Speaker 3: k every Saturday morning because you've inspired me with all
- 25:11Speaker 3: your thousands and thousands of steps that you get every month.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Now, that's awesome.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm glad I'm doing that because that's something positive that
- 25:18Speaker 1: at least there's one positive effect I've had on you.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That's one something. But it's a day good when frog,
- 25:25Speaker 1: it's a day good. One buddy, the biggest house in
- 25:27Speaker 1: the world started with one brick. See, that's exactly right.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Me and John are tried not to be the biggest
- 25:34Speaker 4: houses in the world. We need a little excide we do.
- 25:38Speaker 2: That's exactly right. It is. You know, it's wild.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yesterday we went for a walk and I I totally said.
- 25:43Speaker 1: We went and we were walking on this lake. I said,
- 25:45Speaker 1: I think if we go up here and make a left,
- 25:47Speaker 1: it's a short cut back to the house. I knew
- 25:49Speaker 1: it wasn't knew it was the longer walking. We went
- 25:52Speaker 1: walking much further. Yeah, so uh huh.
- 25:55Speaker 2: She was not she was not happy, but I did
- 25:57Speaker 2: not inspire her.
- 25:58Speaker 4: But I'm glad you could inspire you yesterday.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You did, brother. I'm ready that's good. Let's get into
- 26:02Speaker 2: making three things you need to know.
- 26:04Speaker 4: If your Jacksonville Thursday, what is up next Wednesday?
- 26:08Speaker 5: Be on the lookout if you want to pick up
- 26:10Speaker 5: another job or just a temporary seasonal job.
- 26:14Speaker 4: There's a big job there happening at.
- 26:15Speaker 5: The EverBank to fill positions left for left open for
- 26:21Speaker 5: the upcoming season in the stadium. So if you want
- 26:24Speaker 5: to work in one of the shops or one of
- 26:26Speaker 5: the restaurants, be a great opportunity for you. The Coastguard
- 26:29Speaker 5: is stepping in to help with the Iron Man contestants
- 26:33Speaker 5: on Saturday as they go about their seventeen hour race.
- 26:37Speaker 4: For the swim portion, they go down the river. They
- 26:40Speaker 4: swim in the river, so they want to make sure
- 26:41Speaker 4: that no boats are coming through. They're locking it.
- 26:44Speaker 5: Down seven to eleven am and then traffic also is
- 26:48Speaker 5: going to be shut down for portions of the day.
- 26:50Speaker 4: So if you've got somewhere to be, maybe try to
- 26:52Speaker 4: reschedule your brunch.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Plans wait all afternoon.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Yeah, the Jags are back in London this season Week
- 26:57Speaker 4: five and six.
- 26:58Speaker 5: They'll play the Philadelphia Eagles and then the Houston Texans,
- 27:02Speaker 5: So we'll get.
- 27:02Speaker 4: To cheer on our team while they're across the pond,
- 27:05Speaker 4: and the scheduling.
- 27:06Speaker 3: The rest of the schedule comes out tonight and leave
- 27:08Speaker 3: it to the NFL to be the only league that
- 27:10Speaker 3: the release of a schedule can have its own primetime special.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Right anything.
- 27:15Speaker 2: The Big Show Tomorrow is Friday. Can't wait?
- 27:18Speaker 3: Tomorrow is Morgan walland Concert in Gainesville, the first of two. Man,
- 27:22Speaker 3: it's gonna be a crazy weekend in the North Florida area.
- 27:25Speaker 3: But before we leave, what do we learned today?
- 27:27Speaker 5: Megan, Froggy and John love to talk about sports, but
- 27:30Speaker 5: you say one thing about their teams and you are
- 27:33Speaker 5: You're done.
- 27:34Speaker 4: You're done, right.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I learned that I've inspired John to walk a five
- 27:38Speaker 2: k man.
- 27:39Speaker 4: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Here for You, Here for Good.
