- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each
- 0:10Speaker 1: other on the air control for the live from the
- 0:17Speaker 1: Raising Kine studio. It's off the bench, all.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Right, welcome back here off the bench, hour number three,
- 0:31Speaker 3: getting started right here for you.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Little uh single bowl. Last week we were there and.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Our next guest joining up every single week, mister Nick
- 0:42Speaker 3: on her Hill was also there kind enough to join
- 0:45Speaker 3: us on this Tuesday morning.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Nick, what's up my brother?
- 0:49Speaker 5: And it was going on. Man, good to see you,
- 0:51Speaker 5: Jake looking good, glad to be here.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah, Jake's looking up way better today than he usually
- 0:55Speaker 3: does for sure. Hey, I like this background. What you
- 0:58Speaker 3: got going on here?
- 0:59Speaker 5: I guess I got some helmets back there.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:03Speaker 3: See yeah, see what we get when we get to
- 1:06Speaker 3: get you on video and don't have like the head shot.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and they've been doing me dirty with that headshot
- 1:13Speaker 2: for like five years. Like a tie and a damn
- 1:15Speaker 2: spark Like I don't even think I currently own a
- 1:18Speaker 2: spark coat or a high so like.
- 1:20Speaker 5: We gotta we got to talk about that.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, are those are these are those miniature helmets? Are
- 1:28Speaker 3: those regular size?
- 1:30Speaker 5: Yeah? Many alms like many almens? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah
- 1:34Speaker 5: love it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: What's up man? How was so at the Senior Bowl?
- 1:37Speaker 3: We talked to you last week? I think you were
- 1:39Speaker 3: still traveling in. Give us a little just a recap
- 1:43Speaker 3: on how how everything went.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it was cold, so starting there.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Did you go to all the call all the practices?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I was out there at all of them.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I mean, look, it was kind of a bad Senior Ball.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I think like a lot of guys dropped out. It
- 2:00Speaker 2: was not well attended, I don't think, like from from
- 2:03Speaker 2: every aspect of it. I don't know if that's because
- 2:06Speaker 2: of weather. I don't know if that's because of Jim
- 2:07Speaker 2: Nagy leaving. I don't know what the factors were tied
- 2:12Speaker 2: into that. But kind of interesting just seeing how it
- 2:14Speaker 2: goes and how it evolves. I know what that game
- 2:16Speaker 2: means for the Tonomobile. But I also was sitting there
- 2:19Speaker 2: wondering why, like a showcase for the NFL Draft is
- 2:22Speaker 2: not in a dome.
- 2:23Speaker 5: That seems like a weird thing.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Too, Like you probably just want to see these guys
- 2:27Speaker 2: perform at their best in a controlled setting. I don't
- 2:30Speaker 2: think it affected it, but I mean there's spend years
- 2:32Speaker 2: with rain or whatever, but you know, knowing what it means,
- 2:35Speaker 2: they're like, it's it's a fine compromise with That was
- 2:37Speaker 2: a thought too. But yeah, like a lot of little,
- 2:41Speaker 2: little good pieces of information coming out of there, fee
- 2:43Speaker 2: feel better informed. I guess I'll just like run down
- 2:46Speaker 2: a couple of them and we can go from there,
- 2:48Speaker 2: you know, as far as it goes. But with Saints
- 2:50Speaker 2: current players and with the future holds, I would say
- 2:54Speaker 2: ninety nine percent chance Crystal Lave signs an extension. I
- 2:58Speaker 2: would say the Mario Davis, depending on what the market
- 3:00Speaker 2: looks like is. I would say there's probably a threshold
- 3:04Speaker 2: where if the team goes over it, he's gone, and
- 3:07Speaker 2: if it's under there, they'll bring him back. I don't
- 3:09Speaker 2: think they go eleven and a half twelve thirteen million dollars.
- 3:13Speaker 2: If you're getting to like Patrick Queen money, I think
- 3:16Speaker 2: it's a very unlikely scenario where he comes back. A
- 3:20Speaker 2: Latte Taylor, I would I would place the bat on
- 3:24Speaker 2: gone and uh I think Camp comes back. I think
- 3:27Speaker 2: if you know he wants to keep playing, they'll eventually
- 3:30Speaker 2: reach a deal on that. But I think that's where
- 3:32Speaker 2: the winds blown on those things. It's uh, what February third,
- 3:36Speaker 2: Phil saw? Did till see a shadow?
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yesterday?
- 3:38Speaker 2: I don't know what Phil did yesterday, but yesterday was
- 3:41Speaker 2: Groundhog Day.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean, uh, he did shadow.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the Pennsylvania legend. Man, Like, it's the weirdest place
- 3:49Speaker 2: in the world. If you ever go to Punk Satani,
- 3:52Speaker 2: very very strange, very strange.
- 3:57Speaker 5: What was that saying?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, but that's just where the winds blown right now.
- 3:59Speaker 5: I mean, like things can always change over time.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's a little bit early, and you know, we're trying
- 4:03Speaker 2: to predict a market with human emotion.
- 4:05Speaker 5: That onfolds in March, but I mean, is it is
- 4:07Speaker 5: it stands today. I think that's kind of where everything's at.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah, So when you go to a senior ball I'm
- 4:13Speaker 3: sure you're trying to you're trying to evaluate players that
- 4:16Speaker 3: you think could be on the draft line. Of course,
- 4:19Speaker 3: no one's going to get into Mickey Lewis's head on
- 4:22Speaker 3: exactly what he's thinking. Oh, look, he's on a streak
- 4:26Speaker 3: right now. He had a good draft class. Can he
- 4:27Speaker 3: put two together? They call that a win streak. Right,
- 4:30Speaker 3: So if you were to get into his head and
- 4:33Speaker 3: start like like, what how did you take in the
- 4:35Speaker 3: senior ball? So I was watching big receivers, That's what
- 4:39Speaker 3: I was watching. So I was watching I was watching
- 4:41Speaker 3: malac i Feels from ure Dame Jacobe Lane. I was
- 4:43Speaker 3: watching the Caleb Douglas kid from Texas tey Like. I
- 4:45Speaker 3: was watching these bigger guys to be that counterbalance to
- 4:50Speaker 3: having to go and pay a big amount for a
- 4:52Speaker 3: you know, smaller, good route running, explosive type receiver, because
- 4:56Speaker 3: I think to counterpartch that you need a bigger, a bigger,
- 4:59Speaker 3: more physically dominate guys.
- 5:01Speaker 4: So but how do you take that? Do you do?
- 5:02Speaker 4: You do you kind of take that?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Like the needs are that I'm gonna say, all right,
- 5:05Speaker 3: these are the top five at these needs.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean well, I mean, man, Malachot feels look amazing.
- 5:11Speaker 2: You know, my my other favorite guy from there too.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And if like the Mario leaves the pit linebacker, I thought,
- 5:17Speaker 2: I thought I had a really really good week. There
- 5:19Speaker 2: were a couple offensive linemen that I thought looked pretty good.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You know.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Look, one of the things that I think is we
- 5:24Speaker 2: try to get into Mickey Loomis's head, and you know,
- 5:26Speaker 2: that's kind of kind of what I what I try
- 5:28Speaker 2: to do with these things. My thought leaving the Senior
- 5:33Speaker 2: Bull is that I think they are open for business
- 5:37Speaker 2: on a non traditional position at eight as far as
- 5:40Speaker 2: positional value goes, like meaning that I would not be
- 5:43Speaker 2: surprised by a safety or running back or a tight end,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and I don't think it's a worthy tight end this year.
- 5:48Speaker 5: But I think I think, you.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Know, as you try to put names of that, like
- 5:51Speaker 2: I think Down's and Love are the two guys that
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm I'm most closely looking at right now today, I
- 5:57Speaker 2: think they're wide open for that. And I think part
- 5:59Speaker 2: of the top process for that is that you aren't
- 6:01Speaker 2: paying the quarterback, so you don't have to try to
- 6:04Speaker 2: get the twenty five million dollar player in the draft
- 6:08Speaker 2: to save money so that you can build your team
- 6:10Speaker 2: the way you would if you're paying your quarterback fifty
- 6:12Speaker 2: five million dollars a year, like you kind of have
- 6:14Speaker 2: to take a risk because hey, look, we can't pay
- 6:17Speaker 2: thirty million dollars for a tackle, so we'll take the
- 6:19Speaker 2: third or fourth best offensive tackle. Whereas I think when
- 6:22Speaker 2: you aren't paying the quarterback, everybody talks about best best
- 6:25Speaker 2: player available. Nobody ever drafts best player available. It's always
- 6:28Speaker 2: best player available at a position in need. And I
- 6:31Speaker 2: think not paying the quarterback opens them up for the
- 6:34Speaker 2: ability to say, hey, look, if Caleb Downs is the
- 6:37Speaker 2: absolute best player on the board, we can just take
- 6:39Speaker 2: Caleb Downs because we can go out and sign a
- 6:41Speaker 2: pass rusher because we aren't paying the quarterback. And there's
- 6:44Speaker 2: you know, technically kind of a five year window here
- 6:47Speaker 2: before the if Tyler Shuck is the real deal, nine
- 6:50Speaker 2: games we'll see if he is a real deal that
- 6:52Speaker 2: there is a five year window here before you have
- 6:57Speaker 2: to start actually paying him real money against your salary cap.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So I mean, if you're building a team that way,
- 7:03Speaker 2: I think you can.
- 7:04Speaker 5: You can do it.
- 7:04Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean I think it's I think it's
- 7:07Speaker 2: BPA and then you know, if everything's stocked the same. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 2: I'm with you on the receivers. I think I think
- 7:12Speaker 2: we settle at the same place. I think there's a
- 7:16Speaker 2: lot of mkayle lemon love within the organization, But I mean,
- 7:20Speaker 2: the bigger guy, there's just something about it. Man Like
- 7:23Speaker 2: Jordan Tyson is just the easier watch the mkayle Lemon
- 7:25Speaker 2: like Malachai Fields. You know, you see him and it
- 7:28Speaker 2: looks like he's gonna make some plays. Chris bella bigger guy.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I was really disappointed Sharratt wasn't out there. I wanted
- 7:34Speaker 2: to see him. He ended up pulling out of the game.
- 7:35Speaker 2: That was the guy I was really excited to see.
- 7:37Speaker 2: You know, that type of player. Yeah, I mean that
- 7:40Speaker 2: that's where I settled too.
- 7:41Speaker 5: And I'm with you.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I think I go there over everything else. And I
- 7:45Speaker 2: think Caleb Downs might be the best player.
- 7:46Speaker 5: On the team. But like maybe I'm a simple or
- 7:48Speaker 5: best player in the draft.
- 7:49Speaker 2: But you know, I think I think I think I
- 7:52Speaker 2: might just be a simple thing because like I just
- 7:53Speaker 2: want to do deck to score touchdowns, hit that pick,
- 7:55Speaker 2: like that's just what I want them to do there.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah, good anchor safety like you talk about like like
- 8:01Speaker 3: that isn't awful to me. Now, I think where you're
- 8:05Speaker 3: picking right now to take a running back is a
- 8:07Speaker 3: is not Like, of course he's going to be a
- 8:09Speaker 3: good player, I have no doubt about that. But I
- 8:11Speaker 3: think that's that would be a big l for the
- 8:13Speaker 3: Saints to do that, just because of all the areas
- 8:16Speaker 3: of need and we talked about last week with you, like,
- 8:19Speaker 3: I think you have to surround Tyler Shuck with weapons
- 8:21Speaker 3: right now, you do have this young quarterback, it's great.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It would be great to get a anchor safety on
- 8:26Speaker 3: your defense and have that guy that can roam around
- 8:29Speaker 3: and make plays in the box and things like that.
- 8:31Speaker 3: But I think you just you build around. You found
- 8:33Speaker 3: that you found the first domino fl which is finding
- 8:35Speaker 3: your quarterback or who they believe, and you got to
- 8:37Speaker 3: act like so you got to make sure that it
- 8:39Speaker 3: continues to hit more so, but like on the defensive
- 8:42Speaker 3: side of the ball, where is the one are the
- 8:43Speaker 3: biggest needs that you can potentially see them filling. Let's
- 8:49Speaker 3: just say in like the top three or four rounds,
- 8:51Speaker 3: Maybe not that first overall pick, but the top three
- 8:53Speaker 3: or four rounds is biggest biggest defensive needs.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, And just like to your point, like the safety,
- 9:01Speaker 2: if you drafting Kyle Hamilton at eight, Like I'm totally
- 9:03Speaker 2: cool with that, Like that's a could, that's an identity
- 9:06Speaker 2: for your team. If you gave Brandon Saley that the
- 9:08Speaker 2: safety package, like he's an admirer of Jonathan Gannon's work,
- 9:11Speaker 2: the three safety stuff they were doing in Arizona opens up,
- 9:13Speaker 2: like you can get real weird with your defense if
- 9:15Speaker 2: you have that type of player, and I think you
- 9:16Speaker 2: would cover a lot of the Alante's toff as well.
- 9:19Speaker 2: So yeah, the top needs top three or four rounds.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I think Alante is probably leving, So I think.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Cornerback's pretty high on that list.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I don't I don't know if I go there in
- 9:28Speaker 2: round one, but you know, I think I'm open for
- 9:30Speaker 2: business anywhere after there if that's the best guy available.
- 9:35Speaker 2: More edge obviously, I think it is a spot where
- 9:38Speaker 2: they need to go. You know, it's tougher a little
- 9:41Speaker 2: bit later on, but I would definitely address that DT's
- 9:45Speaker 2: I think is in need. If to Mario leaves, you
- 9:48Speaker 2: could draft a linebacker, you could do it like everything
- 9:50Speaker 2: like and it goes to the point you're making like
- 9:52Speaker 2: there are just so many needs on this team. Yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I mean you can go, you can go anywhere with
- 9:56Speaker 2: its still and they finished strong, but I still think
- 9:58Speaker 2: it's a a roster that that's lacking a lot of
- 10:01Speaker 2: anchor points. And if you do go running back in
- 10:03Speaker 2: the first round, like the margin for air there is
- 10:05Speaker 2: incredibly small, and first round running backs usually do hit
- 10:08Speaker 2: because people are really selective about him right now. But
- 10:11Speaker 2: if it's not Jon Robinson, like, you probably made a mistake.
- 10:14Speaker 2: So if you're taking him, you just got to make
- 10:16Speaker 2: sure he's he's he's Bijon and if he's not, like,
- 10:19Speaker 2: go somewhere else and that I'm okay with taking bij
- 10:21Speaker 2: On at eight if you're getting him, But if it's uh, look,
- 10:24Speaker 2: I don't even think Genty had a bad year, and
- 10:26Speaker 2: we probably we probably shouldn't judge anything off of with
- 10:30Speaker 2: the Raiders too, and especially not a Raiders team that
- 10:32Speaker 2: had fired their staff. But if you take if you
- 10:34Speaker 2: take Genty, you know it or Love is Genty and
- 10:38Speaker 2: it's a comparable player and that's what he is for
- 10:40Speaker 2: the next four or five years.
- 10:42Speaker 5: That's a huge mess.
- 10:43Speaker 2: So I mean, you just got to really really be sure.
- 10:45Speaker 2: If you're just fligging that back, you know, there's no
- 10:47Speaker 2: threat to getting fired here. But those are the type
- 10:49Speaker 2: of moves that get people fired out of their jobs.
- 10:52Speaker 2: When you make the unconventional pick and you miss, that's
- 10:55Speaker 2: how you lose your job. So you got to make
- 10:57Speaker 2: sure if you're going to Jeremiah Love, that's that's you know,
- 11:01Speaker 2: you're you're not uncertain.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Well, most people lose their job, not everybody, most people
- 11:06Speaker 4: lose their job if they miss multiple times.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, any any like news or whispers about lobby deal.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I think I think it's a i'd
- 11:19Speaker 2: say near certainty that it gets done.
- 11:22Speaker 5: You know, it's a matter of time.
- 11:23Speaker 2: But I think I think the top process on all
- 11:26Speaker 2: sides is that it gets done. I was told the
- 11:28Speaker 2: blood clot is cleared, he's gonna be on blood diners
- 11:31Speaker 2: probably for like a month, but like that's apparently not
- 11:34Speaker 2: a problem at this point, Like they feel good about
- 11:36Speaker 2: where it's at, and and he can uh, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 2: start doing some physical activity and everything, so those can
- 11:41Speaker 2: be So that's really good news.
- 11:43Speaker 5: That that it's that is going that direction.
- 11:45Speaker 2: But yeah, I think I think it gets done, and
- 11:47Speaker 2: I think they probably end up paying them probably pretty well.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I Mean, I think the thought is that letting him
- 11:53Speaker 2: go like just wouldn't make sense. Like where they're at,
- 11:55Speaker 2: where they're trying to go. He's a foundational piece, and
- 11:57Speaker 2: they really don't have anywhere anyone else pay. I mean,
- 12:01Speaker 2: they have one hundred and twenty seven million dollars in
- 12:02Speaker 2: cap commitments next year, and the CoP's going to be well,
- 12:06Speaker 2: twenty seven one hundred and twenty seven million cop that
- 12:09Speaker 2: year is probably can be like three hundred and thirty million,
- 12:10Speaker 2: So you can pay Chris and like that's not a problem.
- 12:14Speaker 5: So I think they get.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It done, and I think he ends up being really
- 12:17Speaker 2: well paid, and you know, I think those sizes will
- 12:20Speaker 2: probably feel good about where they end up.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Look, Nick, I miss a lot of headlines are hand
- 12:25Speaker 3: in the air. I'll be first to admit that I
- 12:26Speaker 3: don't see everything. But did I miss something about a
- 12:28Speaker 3: love's health and a blood clots? I did I miss that?
- 12:32Speaker 5: Yeah? So he missed the last game of the season
- 12:34Speaker 5: due to a blood clot. He had a blood clot
- 12:36Speaker 5: go to his lungs.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So yeah, I mean, like those can be
- 12:41Speaker 2: you know, if you don't.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 12:42Speaker 2: There's a lot of science fy on that, but like,
- 12:44Speaker 2: depending on how it happens, like it's gonna be a
- 12:47Speaker 2: massive problem.
- 12:48Speaker 5: And you know, his is in the.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Category of like solvable getting solved head in the right direction.
- 12:53Speaker 5: So all good news there.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Did you see the news this morning about following the
- 12:57Speaker 3: news from last week with Bill Belichick not getting that
- 13:01Speaker 3: the enough votes to be a first ballot now Robert
- 13:04Speaker 3: Kraft being held out, So what's your.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Thoughts on this?
- 13:07Speaker 3: You follow the NFL, I'm sure you got to some
- 13:10Speaker 3: sort of opinion on this. We just we talked at
- 13:12Speaker 3: link about how dumb it is and how ridiculous the
- 13:15Speaker 3: Hall of Fame is and how people should get their
- 13:17Speaker 3: votes stripped immediately. But is there I want to ask you, like,
- 13:22Speaker 3: this is clearly some sort of vendetta against the Patriots
- 13:25Speaker 3: in that timeframe, So do you think this is going
- 13:27Speaker 3: to harm or affect Tom Brady when his name comes up.
- 13:32Speaker 2: It's so bad that they're leaking the results of the
- 13:34Speaker 2: Hall of Fame vote before they First they put out
- 13:38Speaker 2: the Belichick one because they didn't want to overshadow the
- 13:40Speaker 2: Super Bowl, and then they put out the Kraft one
- 13:42Speaker 2: because they don't want that to overshadow the actual Hall
- 13:44Speaker 2: of famers getting in. It's so bad that they're like,
- 13:46Speaker 2: let's let this burn out so that the celebration can
- 13:49Speaker 2: can happen on Thursday night.
- 13:51Speaker 5: It's crazy to me, man, and I keep.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Seeing people talk about, well, there's only so many guys,
- 13:56Speaker 2: and they change the voting process and you can only
- 13:58Speaker 2: get three to the five or whatever, like whatever it is.
- 14:01Speaker 2: And it's like, yeah, okay, but if you're not voting
- 14:04Speaker 2: for Bill Belichick and you're voting for somebody else because
- 14:06Speaker 2: you're like, well, this guy needs votes, and Bill's going
- 14:08Speaker 2: to get in because he's going to get the votes,
- 14:10Speaker 2: you're the problem.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Like that's the user air.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I don't think the process is great, but the bigger
- 14:15Speaker 2: problem within the processes that the people are idiots.
- 14:18Speaker 5: And like, if you're not voting for.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Bill to go off ballot to get somebody else in,
- 14:22Speaker 2: you're skirting the spirit of the Hall of Fame. Like
- 14:25Speaker 2: the people that aren't getting enough votes probably shouldn't get
- 14:28Speaker 2: in the Hall of Fame.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Like that was the design of the thing.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It's wild to be man, Like, you know, you gotta
- 14:35Speaker 2: wonder what it means for Sean Payton, Like, you know,
- 14:38Speaker 2: I think people in Massachusetts in the New England area
- 14:42Speaker 2: feel the same way about their scandals the way people
- 14:45Speaker 2: here feel about some of the stuff that happened with
- 14:47Speaker 2: the saying So if that's going to be the reason
- 14:50Speaker 2: for them, I wonder what it means for Sean, Like
- 14:51Speaker 2: it like it's a slope, And I think we all
- 14:54Speaker 2: know that these investigations, most of the time, like the
- 14:57Speaker 2: flight gate was a BS thing.
- 14:59Speaker 5: We know Onnie Gate was largely a BS thing. Like,
- 15:02Speaker 5: so it's it's just weird to me.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Like, you know, if you're close enough to these things
- 15:06Speaker 2: and you look at him, you kind of know what
- 15:08Speaker 2: the deal is in that Goodell often gets out of pocket.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I don't know, man, like the morality of it and
- 15:13Speaker 2: all that stuff, Like I think that's just a very
- 15:16Speaker 2: slippery slope. Like put the guy in the Football Hall
- 15:20Speaker 2: of Fame, like it's a museum for football, and I
- 15:24Speaker 2: don't know, like it just seems like people are vastly
- 15:26Speaker 2: overthinking things. And you know, Craft is more decorated than
- 15:30Speaker 2: any other owner. He got the Super Bowl three different
- 15:33Speaker 2: times with three different head coaching quarterback pairings, and you're
- 15:36Speaker 2: gonna keep him out of the Hall of Fame, Like
- 15:38Speaker 2: for what It's just it just doesn't make sense to me.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I think at some point people overthink things and
- 15:43Speaker 3: pettiness gets in the way and personal feelings get in
- 15:46Speaker 3: a way.
- 15:46Speaker 4: When just like just he's common sense. Just it's just
- 15:50Speaker 4: it's not that hard.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Still was mean to you, like all right, cool?
- 15:54Speaker 4: Sorry every years?
- 15:57Speaker 5: Yeah, Like who cares?
- 15:58Speaker 2: All I tried, I tried to talk to him at
- 16:00Speaker 2: the owner's meetings, and he grumbled at me. I was
- 16:02Speaker 2: in the elevator with Belichick once and I said hi,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and he put his hoot up and turned around. Didn't
- 16:05Speaker 2: He didn't even say high back. I'd vote for him
- 16:09Speaker 2: if I had to vote for the Hall of Fame.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Like, don't.
- 16:12Speaker 4: I'm not voting for him.
- 16:13Speaker 3: He didn't talk to me in the elevator in an
- 16:15Speaker 3: awkward conversation. Man, can you name one bad bunny song?
- 16:21Speaker 4: No?
- 16:24Speaker 3: I think I can't either. So you just wanted to
- 16:26Speaker 3: know how getting prep for this super Bowl this weekend?
- 16:30Speaker 3: So are you ready for halftime? Who do you think
- 16:32Speaker 3: is gonna win? What's your prediction?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean like to that point though, like Carson
- 16:37Speaker 2: Daley isn't on TV anymore at four o'clock every day
- 16:40Speaker 2: doing this.
- 16:43Speaker 5: But I mean, like I used to know music.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Outs how to like in every every genre, like the
- 16:47Speaker 2: ones I didn't listen to, Like I couldn't tell you
- 16:51Speaker 2: the name of like a Billie Eilish song either, And
- 16:53Speaker 2: I know she's like the biggest artists in the world, but.
- 16:55Speaker 5: You know, back in the day, like I knew like hoop.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Stank even though, like it was just like nas jay
- 16:59Speaker 2: Z your Kwan ghost face go on my headphone, so
- 17:03Speaker 2: you see he speaks soosal a lot more. I think
- 17:06Speaker 2: I think the Seahawks win this game. Like they just
- 17:08Speaker 2: seem like a jogger. Not to me, it just feels
- 17:10Speaker 2: like things are going the right correction. I'm done doubting
- 17:13Speaker 2: Sam Darnold. I think I think they win the game.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Well, I think I think Vegas feels the same way.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I think the Seahawks minus four and a half point favor.
- 17:21Speaker 3: There he is Nick Underhill, New Orleans Dot Football, and
- 17:23Speaker 3: you heard it here as well. He wants Hoops Tank
- 17:25Speaker 3: to play next year's Super Bowl and Nick undertill I
- 17:28Speaker 3: appreciate the time, buddy.
- 17:30Speaker 5: Yeah, take it easy man, allright, good.
- 17:32Speaker 4: All right.
- 17:32Speaker 3: There you have it, all things New Orleans, all things NFL. Surprise,
- 17:37Speaker 3: surprise somebody else that didn't like the Bill Belichick and
- 17:40Speaker 3: Robert Craft situation. That's kind of funny. That's a weird situation.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Being an elevator with somebody. You talk to him, not
- 17:46Speaker 3: the day, buddy, not to day, and I'll talk to you.
- 17:49Speaker 3: We appreciate Nick every single week for a time again,
- 17:51Speaker 3: New Orleans Dot Football all right, we'll come back continue
- 17:55Speaker 3: talking super Bowl, talking LSU, talking about God knows what
- 17:58Speaker 3: we'll find out right here, off the bench, off the bench,
- 18:03Speaker 3: all right. I can just see it now, cannon ball
- 18:08Speaker 3: coming in my new pool from Russell Pools. We're about
- 18:10Speaker 3: to get our projects started. Started talking to Chris Anderson
- 18:12Speaker 3: and the group over there. It's been something that we've
- 18:16Speaker 3: been wanting to do for years now, and it's just
- 18:19Speaker 3: something we just hadn't pulled the trigger on. Well, we're
- 18:21Speaker 3: doing it now because you know why, the kids are
- 18:23Speaker 3: getting older, we're getting it's getting that time where time
- 18:25Speaker 3: is passing by it and we don't want it to
- 18:28Speaker 3: keep passing by without having that pool in our backyard
- 18:31Speaker 3: ready for someone, ready to host all the parties, host
- 18:33Speaker 3: of birthday parties. You want your house to be the
- 18:35Speaker 3: spot where everybody comes to it hangs out. Or Russell
- 18:38Speaker 3: Pools the name you think of when you think of
- 18:40Speaker 3: the highest quality custom pools. If you dream it, if
- 18:43Speaker 3: you see it in a magazine, if you see it
- 18:45Speaker 3: on wherever you see it, just call them. They can
- 18:47Speaker 3: talk to you about the product, they can design everything
- 18:49Speaker 3: to landscape architects on staff right there, so you don't
- 18:52Speaker 3: have to like piecemell this product together. They can take
- 18:54Speaker 3: your dream to reality. They can draw it, they can
- 18:57Speaker 3: engineer it, they can build it, maintain it. Everything right there.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Russell pools dot.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Com from the locker room to the airwaves. Gets off
- 19:08Speaker 1: the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Are ye.
- 19:25Speaker 8: All right?
- 19:25Speaker 4: Welcome back here? Off the bench.
- 19:31Speaker 3: That was sitting across the table from cute mss Kane.
- 19:37Speaker 5: What a.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Good girl hanging out with him. Her microphone fell there.
- 19:42Speaker 9: She can't speak.
- 19:45Speaker 8: I think there's a couple of things keeping her from speaking.
- 19:50Speaker 4: She's a stuffed animal. Yeah, probably the number one.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Thing doesn't really have a conscious. Sure, it's like way
- 19:58Speaker 6: of thinking. Not during the day, we don't know what happens.
- 20:03Speaker 4: We don't know what happens at night. I have no clue.
- 20:06Speaker 10: It's true. I put Kane over here under the TV
- 20:09Speaker 10: after every show most mornings. I get here and she's
- 20:12Speaker 10: in one of those chairs.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Chair.
- 20:14Speaker 3: She hasn't been in this chair the last two days.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I've had to move over there. Something strange, as I for.
- 20:22Speaker 3: This place is haunted. Yeah, the building is literally haunted.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Too many stories. Didn't you order? You said you saw
- 20:30Speaker 3: a ghost here.
- 20:31Speaker 8: One time I was here and the elevator opened and
- 20:35Speaker 8: nobody was in the elevator.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Okay, I didn't push the button.
- 20:38Speaker 8: Okay, so I didn't see one, but I felt it's something.
- 20:46Speaker 10: The elevator working might be the scariest part of that.
- 20:49Speaker 6: It wasn't, though, because it opened by itself. That doesn't
- 20:53Speaker 6: feel like it's working. That feels haunted.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Say what always works is kid is the interiors and
- 21:02Speaker 4: outdoor living.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Whoa, they're scary good.

- 22:22Speaker 10: What'd you say you got any punting props?
- 22:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:24Speaker 3: We're gonna find out. I'm reading these for the first
- 22:26Speaker 3: time with you guys right here. So we are filling out.
- 22:29Speaker 3: We are nine questions in. We got a little ketchup
- 22:31Speaker 3: where we got twenty three questions ago. All right, our
- 22:36Speaker 3: tenth question on our prop bet total sacks by both
- 22:41Speaker 3: teams combined over under four and a half sacks on
- 22:44Speaker 3: the Super Bowl?
- 22:47Speaker 4: How much four and a half?
- 22:50Speaker 10: Both teams have pretty good offensive lines. I'll go under.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Okay, under, Wait, what was the question over under total
- 22:56Speaker 3: sacks in the game combined four and a half. Okay, under, Okay,
- 23:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna go over. The defense is pretty good. Then
- 23:04Speaker 3: they're gonna play like their hair is on fire early on.
- 23:06Speaker 4: All right.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Next one total interceptions thrown Darnold and May combined over
- 23:12Speaker 3: under one and a half interceptions over.
- 23:15Speaker 6: Yeah, over one and a half is small.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Two Okay, I'll now, I want to see good quarterback play.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I'm wanna go under. I'm gonna say there's one interception
- 23:25Speaker 3: in the game. I know I want to see good
- 23:27Speaker 3: quarterback play.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Know you like that? All right?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Will there be some sort of okay, this says specifically
- 23:33Speaker 3: a Philly special or a trick play happening. A trick played,
- 23:36Speaker 3: be some sort of flea fickler, a running back pass,
- 23:39Speaker 3: a receiver pass, a trick play in the game. Yes,
- 23:44Speaker 3: I'll go no, I'm gonna say m I'm gonna say yes.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I think you'd have to come from the Patriots. Kubik
- 23:57Speaker 3: has probably been a little busy leading up to the
- 23:59Speaker 3: Super Bowl, might not have time to install a trick place.
- 24:02Speaker 3: And I go, yes, it would come from the Patriots.
- 24:05Speaker 4: All right.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Bad Bunny's first song was it gonna be Monico. I
- 24:11Speaker 3: don't know how to say that one. Okay, Uh Monico,
- 24:19Speaker 3: U T T me pergunto.
- 24:22Speaker 6: I think it'll be that one, okay, or Dakity, I
- 24:25Speaker 6: think it'll be that right. It was pretty good.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Yeah, the name da Kit, I'll like that. So I'll
- 24:31Speaker 3: go with that one. I'll go Monico. So I want Monico.
- 24:36Speaker 3: You're going T T me pregunto.
- 24:38Speaker 8: Yeah that really T yeah T yeah, Okay, that's how
- 24:43Speaker 8: he's seen and you're.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Going, yeah, sure, why not? Okay.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Total number of outfit changes for Bad Bunny over under
- 24:52Speaker 3: two and a half four.
- 24:53Speaker 6: I'm going over two and a half. I'm gonna go under.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna go over as well. I felt like I
- 25:00Speaker 3: did some reading on Bad Bunny this morning. He likes
- 25:02Speaker 3: he does outfits. Yeah, someways say that there's gonna be three.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Will there be a surprise guest performer?
- 25:08Speaker 4: Yes?
- 25:08Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 25:10Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 10: I feel like there always is, there always is.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Was there one with Kendrick Lamar did a guest performer?
- 25:16Speaker 3: I know he had Serena Williams come out and do
- 25:18Speaker 3: her thing.
- 25:22Speaker 6: Was there he has a song with her? But came.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I feel like this is a pretty easy one. It's
- 25:26Speaker 3: gotta be yes, right, Okay, it's gotta be yes. Will
- 25:30Speaker 3: Bad Bunny wear sunglasses for the entire first song?
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yes? Or no? I mean.
- 25:39Speaker 6: He'll wear sunglasses. Yes, I'm gonna say yes.
- 25:43Speaker 10: I mean sure, Okay, but I don't know, like does
- 25:46Speaker 10: he typically come out with sunglasses?
- 25:47Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 25:48Speaker 8: He always wears sunglasses, not like always, but he's a
- 25:51Speaker 8: sunglasses where.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I like he's gonna like dramatically remove them
- 25:56Speaker 3: like Horatio and.
- 25:59Speaker 10: After the first.
- 26:00Speaker 3: One though, Yeah, it feels like a second song live,
- 26:04Speaker 3: so you'll have to say yeah. Some have to say yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 3: that feels like a dramatic removal of the sunglasses. Does
- 26:09Speaker 3: feel like a second song. Okay, So I'll go over
- 26:15Speaker 3: all right, there you go. That gets us all the
- 26:16Speaker 3: way through our halftime portions. So we are sixteen questions
- 26:20Speaker 3: in Okay, we're going to continue this.
- 26:23Speaker 6: We have seven questions more. You said that adds up?
- 26:27Speaker 4: Yep? That adds up?
- 26:28Speaker 6: Okay, yep. I can't remember how.
- 26:30Speaker 10: So TV geography no math.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Kill it kind of sometimes if it's an easy number.
- 26:37Speaker 3: How are you all going to take in the game
- 26:38Speaker 3: this weekend? Do y'all do? Super Bowl parties.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Do y'all set my house?
- 26:42Speaker 4: Huh?
- 26:42Speaker 6: Probably just at my house, maybe door dash something.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's weird.
- 26:48Speaker 10: I've always like I wanted to throw with super Bowl party.
- 26:51Speaker 10: Never have, probably probably taking into the house. Last year
- 26:56Speaker 10: I actually went somewhere my dad. We just went to
- 26:59Speaker 10: walk Ons and and done them. But this year, no prebby. Looky,
- 27:02Speaker 10: I don't have a ton invested into this one.
- 27:04Speaker 3: I feel like watching the Super Bowl is tough at
- 27:07Speaker 3: a public place because you do like to lock.
- 27:09Speaker 4: In for the commercials.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and I feel like a lot of times the sports,
- 27:13Speaker 3: well they'll turn on, they'll turn it like off for
- 27:15Speaker 3: the commercials, like the sound off off the TV. Of
- 27:17Speaker 3: course with the sound off, I like to hear commentary.
- 27:21Speaker 3: So yeah, we usually do throw some sort of like
- 27:24Speaker 3: you know, a gathering, like I said, like a full
- 27:25Speaker 3: blown party, but you know, people congregate, bring some dips.
- 27:29Speaker 3: We do get the square board going. I love a dip.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Can't go wrong with a dip. Maybe some sort of
- 27:40Speaker 3: entree in the crockpot. That's kind of a go to
- 27:45Speaker 3: what you're if you're making a dip? What are you making? Hey, Alandra,
- 27:49Speaker 3: come to the party, Bring a dip?
- 27:51Speaker 6: I think I would try to do like a like
- 27:54Speaker 6: a spinach artichoke.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Have you ever done that before?
- 27:56Speaker 6: I've never done it, but I would try it for
- 27:58Speaker 6: a dip for.
- 28:00Speaker 4: The first time. To bring to a party is a
- 28:03Speaker 4: pretty bold move.
- 28:04Speaker 8: Pretty good at pretty much anything that I do. Not
- 28:07Speaker 8: a big deal, So I'm pretty sure that I could do.
- 28:10Speaker 8: I do a good buffalo dip, but I thought that
- 28:12Speaker 8: just feels so basic, Like I feel like everybody goes
- 28:14Speaker 8: for the buffalo dip, like the chicken, like a buffalo
- 28:18Speaker 8: chicken dip.
- 28:19Speaker 4: But it's good.
- 28:19Speaker 10: I mean, it's oh yeah, I like a would I
- 28:23Speaker 10: make it? Not pay couldn't, but like a seven layered
- 28:26Speaker 10: dip p super Bowl.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Like with the refried beans and everything.
- 28:30Speaker 10: Refread beans, the guak you get the cheese.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't do a bean, hate a bean, all beans.
- 28:37Speaker 10: Oh yeah, we we talked about this week. First you
- 28:39Speaker 10: joined the chew.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I can't even have like cross contamination on my plate
- 28:43Speaker 3: with a bean. It's a weird thing.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Uh.
- 28:49Speaker 3: My wife makes this like cream cheese and breakfast sausage
- 28:54Speaker 3: dip and it's fantastic. It's even good like after it
- 28:58Speaker 3: gets cold too. Hoping that makes an appearance this weekend anyway,
- 29:05Speaker 3: I hope whatever you're deciding to do, however you're supposed to,
- 29:07Speaker 3: however you're choosing to watch the game, that you have
- 29:10Speaker 3: a good time, you have a safe time, and enjoy yourself,
- 29:15Speaker 3: cheer it on, watched the commercials. I don't care if
- 29:17Speaker 3: you have a dog in the fight or not, just
- 29:19Speaker 3: like Tom Brady doesn't have a dog in the fight.
- 29:21Speaker 4: I hope you all have a good time, have a
- 29:22Speaker 4: fun Super.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Bowl party definitely does.

- 31:04Speaker 3: don't get to look at the cute Miss Kane sitting
- 31:07Speaker 3: in Jake's chair. We get to actually talk to Jake
- 31:10Speaker 3: live on FaceTime, I believe from San Francisco.
- 31:14Speaker 9: What's U, buddy, what's going on?
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:17Speaker 9: I didn't want you ridiculing me if I just called in.
- 31:19Speaker 7: So I know you're big on FaceTime guests, so I
- 31:22Speaker 7: figured I would FaceTime in.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yeah, he's face time. Taylor was like, I don't know,
- 31:26Speaker 3: you just got a production beat, and I was like,
- 31:28Speaker 3: so he's face tiving in, right, Yeah, for sure. I
- 31:32Speaker 3: don't want to get ridiculed, y'all. I had a production
- 31:34Speaker 3: meet at like what seven in the morning. What are
- 31:36Speaker 3: y'all doing over there?
- 31:37Speaker 9: Yeah? Right at seven? Well, I mean the show's at ten.
- 31:41Speaker 7: But once they get started, I guess they don't want
- 31:44Speaker 7: to try to play catch up because I think Mad
- 31:46Speaker 7: Dog starts at like eight, NFL starts at eight, and
- 31:50Speaker 7: we start at ten, so some of the same guys,
- 31:53Speaker 7: I guess engineers are working on the same show, so
- 31:55Speaker 7: they got to kind of get everything out of the
- 31:57Speaker 7: way at seven.
- 31:57Speaker 9: And so I don't know.
- 31:58Speaker 7: I got over there yesterday like super early, just because
- 32:01Speaker 7: three hours solo is you know, you know, you want
- 32:05Speaker 7: to make sure that you got everything ready to go.
- 32:07Speaker 7: So I'll probably had over there right when I got
- 32:09Speaker 7: this too, even though the showed up to start till tim.
- 32:10Speaker 3: There you go, all right, so tell us just give
- 32:14Speaker 3: us an overview of the setup for media row, how
- 32:16Speaker 3: y'all show is like the kind of compare it to
- 32:19Speaker 3: what you saw from last year, just like, what's your
- 32:21Speaker 3: setup for the week. Have the big name guests started arriving.
- 32:26Speaker 3: You've seen some cool people.
- 32:29Speaker 7: So much smaller this year than it was a year ago,
- 32:33Speaker 7: not even close. Actually, the last two years, so Vegas
- 32:36Speaker 7: and New Orleans had a huge obviously convention center with
- 32:40Speaker 7: every station you can imagine, and everybody had huge, massive sets.
- 32:45Speaker 7: Now there's still some of that, but like, for instance,
- 32:48Speaker 7: we had five stages I think last.
- 32:50Speaker 9: Year on Sirius.
- 32:51Speaker 7: This year we have three because everything is smaller and
- 32:55Speaker 7: this is a union town too, so it's gonna cost
- 32:58Speaker 7: you a lot more money to get everything set up,
- 33:01Speaker 7: and so everybody kind of cut back a little bit,
- 33:04Speaker 7: so it's not what it was a year ago. I
- 33:07Speaker 7: thought New Orleans did a fantastic job. Not everything's been
- 33:10Speaker 7: been nice, but everything's so spread out when you have
- 33:13Speaker 7: a city like this, like we're.
- 33:14Speaker 9: In San Francisco, games in Santa Clara.
- 33:17Speaker 7: I think opening night for the Patriots and Seahawks was
- 33:21Speaker 7: in San Jose, so everything's kind of a little bit different.
- 33:24Speaker 7: And it was actually pretty good though, buzz Monday, But
- 33:27Speaker 7: I don't know if it was because the room was
- 33:29Speaker 7: so much smaller that it felt like.
- 33:33Speaker 9: Yeah, So I don't know.
- 33:34Speaker 7: We'll see today we'll start to get some of the
- 33:36Speaker 7: heavy hitter guests in.
- 33:39Speaker 9: Uh, you know, compared to yesterday.
- 33:40Speaker 7: Yesterday was it was your boy talking and answering a
- 33:44Speaker 7: lot of his own questions for about three hours.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Well, Jake, what's your take on the Super Bowl? Well, Jake,
- 33:49Speaker 4: let me tell you.
- 33:51Speaker 9: That's what it felt like exactly.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of my nightmare. I'm having to just
- 33:57Speaker 3: like talk by myself for an extended period of time.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Thank god I have a Tatan in a laundri here
- 34:02Speaker 3: to hold down.
- 34:05Speaker 7: Yeah, I was selling a Landra on the way back
- 34:06Speaker 7: home from the Senior Bowl like that.
- 34:08Speaker 9: That is one of the differences.
- 34:09Speaker 7: I don't have a Tata in a Landra to Hey,
- 34:13Speaker 7: I need to take a deep breath, give me a
- 34:15Speaker 7: great take, for give me something obviously. So yeah, so
- 34:20Speaker 7: you definitely appreciate our great producers there, I'll tell you that.
- 34:23Speaker 3: So the I'm sure it's been a little break from
- 34:26Speaker 3: the weather for you. How's it been out there? Have
- 34:28Speaker 3: you been able to kind of hit the streets of
- 34:30Speaker 3: San Franz a little bit. I know you're not like
- 34:32Speaker 3: a party animal by any means, but are we taking
- 34:34Speaker 3: in the city.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Oh we lost Jake. Oh my gosh. Oh hey buddy,
- 34:47Speaker 4: you didn't pay for Wi Fi? Did you?
- 34:50Speaker 9: I don't know, my wife. It's free. I should be on.
- 34:53Speaker 4: It, so it's free. You got the bad one, then
- 34:55Speaker 4: you got the slow one. Upgrade that back.
- 34:58Speaker 9: You know, we're balling on a budget after all all
- 35:00Speaker 9: these trips. My gosh, but.
- 35:04Speaker 7: No, the weather's much better here than it wasn't mobile
- 35:06Speaker 7: Mobile was awful. It was freezing cold, great weather here.
- 35:10Speaker 7: I did walk around a little bit, not on purpose yesterday,
- 35:13Speaker 7: so I was gonna keep it low key. There was
- 35:15Speaker 7: like a mall that was supposed to be a couple
- 35:17Speaker 7: of blocks away, and I was like, oh great, I'll
- 35:20Speaker 7: just see I walk around.
- 35:21Speaker 9: I'll go to the food court, I'll.
- 35:22Speaker 7: Get my choice of food, and I'll just keep it
- 35:24Speaker 7: low key tonight. And I so I walk all the
- 35:27Speaker 7: way there and like huge signs on the door permanently
- 35:30Speaker 7: closed the whole mall, like the entire thing. And I
- 35:33Speaker 7: was like, oh, okay, cool, cool, And so like every
- 35:37Speaker 7: restaurant that I walked to. It was like either fancy
- 35:39Speaker 7: or it was packed, And so I did the most
- 35:44Speaker 7: fullback thing ever. I just came back and I door
- 35:47Speaker 7: dashed some Chipotle.
- 35:50Speaker 3: You went to the mall to try to get you
- 35:52Speaker 3: a barrow pizza sliceadn't ye?
- 35:53Speaker 9: That's right? Yes? No?
- 35:58Speaker 7: Or maybe like some like greasy Chinese food is incredible
- 36:03Speaker 7: Chinese food now didn't happen. So maybe I'll step the
- 36:07Speaker 7: game up tonight. Maybe I'll actually put my legs under
- 36:11Speaker 7: a table. Probably not, but it sounds nice.
- 36:14Speaker 3: You're gonna be fine, buddy. Well, good luck on your
- 36:17Speaker 3: eating today. I hope it works out for you. Sell
- 36:21Speaker 3: the news this morning it broke probably five am your time.
- 36:25Speaker 3: But the Robert Kraft not getting in the Hall of
- 36:28Speaker 3: Fame this year either, so another yeah, Robert Craft not
- 36:32Speaker 3: getting in, not getting the votes. So certainly I'm probably
- 36:36Speaker 3: sure I know what your opinion on that is. But
- 36:38Speaker 3: like to kind of correlate it to LSU and the
- 36:41Speaker 3: Saints fans like Drew Brees will probably or should be
- 36:44Speaker 3: a first ballot Hall of Famer this year, Like this
- 36:48Speaker 3: is a situation to me with the Belichick news, the
- 36:51Speaker 3: Robert Kraft News. It's really going to take away from
- 36:54Speaker 3: the celebration that should be for these people that do
- 36:56Speaker 3: get in. So I from it's like Drew Brees, He's
- 36:59Speaker 3: gonna get in there, Belichick or whoever like and he
- 37:01Speaker 3: should be a first ballot guy. But do you see this,
- 37:05Speaker 3: like the timing of all this information release, do you
- 37:07Speaker 3: see this kind of tarnishing that celebration because the talking
- 37:10Speaker 3: heads are going to be talking about who didn't make
- 37:12Speaker 3: it rather than who did.
- 37:13Speaker 7: Make Yeah, it's a good point, and I do think
- 37:17Speaker 7: it will take away a little bit. Yesterday, Belichick not
- 37:21Speaker 7: get again was one of the main things that like
- 37:24Speaker 7: right to the right of it, like five ft away
- 37:25Speaker 7: NFL radio set up, and that was one of the
- 37:28Speaker 7: things that they were talking about. And they had Ted Johnson,
- 37:30Speaker 7: who was a former player for Belichick and the Patriots
- 37:33Speaker 7: during that Super Bowl run. And it was like the
- 37:36Speaker 7: fifteen minute conversation. It wasn't about the game here against Seattle.
- 37:40Speaker 7: It was like Belichick and they kind of just spiral.
- 37:42Speaker 7: Then it turned into the whole segment. He actually, oddly enough,
- 37:46Speaker 7: he's like I didn't really have a problem with it.
- 37:48Speaker 7: He's like, I think the Hall of Fames for players,
- 37:50Speaker 7: not coaches and owners, and so when they get in,
- 37:52Speaker 7: they get in. But it's four players, and he played
- 37:56Speaker 7: for Belichick. So I was like, Okay, that's interesting. I mean,
- 38:01Speaker 7: it's not the it's not the NFL Players Hall of Fame.
- 38:04Speaker 7: It's I see where he's going with that, and I
- 38:07Speaker 7: slightly agree. But when you're talking about two of the
- 38:11Speaker 7: greatest to do it, then it kind of does make
- 38:14Speaker 7: you think, like, is Tom Brady going to have unless
- 38:17Speaker 7: something changes, unless these voters get kicked off, or unless
- 38:21Speaker 7: something happens in the voting process. I mean, you gotta
- 38:24Speaker 7: think if it happened to those two, it's gonna happen
- 38:26Speaker 7: to Tom Brady as well. Yeah, I mean you would
- 38:30Speaker 7: think so. But man, he went to Tampa Bay and
- 38:34Speaker 7: won a Super Bowl too. Maybe I don't know, maybe
- 38:36Speaker 7: maybe maybe that helps him get out. Like if Tom
- 38:39Speaker 7: Brady's not a first ballot Hall of Famer, like what
- 38:41Speaker 7: the hell are we doing?
- 38:42Speaker 4: Like why do we say the same thing about Belichick too?
- 38:44Speaker 4: You know what I mean? That's you could that's.
- 38:46Speaker 7: Or you could you could, I guess, Like, but even
- 38:50Speaker 7: Brady's resumes even better than Belichick's because he won one
- 38:53Speaker 7: without it.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Sure, but the resume like like I get it, Like.
- 38:57Speaker 9: Yeah, for sure, the resume speaks.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Obviously they're gonna get.
- 39:00Speaker 3: They're gonna get they're getting punished for something by a
- 39:03Speaker 3: small group of insignificant, small brainded men. They are getting.
- 39:08Speaker 3: They're getting punished for something. So it's not about resume.
- 39:11Speaker 3: So Tom Brady's resume looks even a little bit better,
- 39:14Speaker 3: but it doesn't like you can take the Tampa thing away,
- 39:17Speaker 3: because his resume already was first ballot Hall of Famer.
- 39:20Speaker 3: So you gotta think if they're getting punished, they're gonna
- 39:22Speaker 3: Tom's gonna ge punished because you're talking about the greatest
- 39:24Speaker 3: quarterback to play the game, but you're also talking about
- 39:26Speaker 3: the greatest coach to ever coach the game. Like it's
- 39:29Speaker 3: the it's both of them would be wildly egregious. And
- 39:32Speaker 3: I would say almost even equally egregious.
- 39:35Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, I mean, look, they should be in without question,
- 39:38Speaker 7: and like to the original point of it taking away
- 39:41Speaker 7: it's certainly it has already, as I said, like a
- 39:45Speaker 7: Super Bowl media row, like that's what they're talking about.
- 39:47Speaker 7: And Drew Brees deserves his celebration obviously being one of
- 39:51Speaker 7: the better quarterbacks of all time.
- 39:53Speaker 4: So you know.
- 39:56Speaker 7: The Tom Brady deal, like whoever is on the back
- 40:00Speaker 7: with him, like can they get in?
- 40:02Speaker 9: And he does it that poor soul. You know, that's
- 40:06Speaker 9: gonna be bad.
- 40:06Speaker 3: It's gonna be like that scene from like Rudy when
- 40:09Speaker 3: all the Hall of Fame people should just turn their
- 40:11Speaker 3: jackets in.
- 40:13Speaker 9: The Yeah, but that actually but but it would actually happen.
- 40:15Speaker 4: It would actually happen, that the outrage.
- 40:18Speaker 3: That's right, all right, Well, anything like you're specifically looking
- 40:22Speaker 3: forward to, like a random guest that you're looking forward to,
- 40:26Speaker 3: like maybe trying to hawk down and interview.
- 40:32Speaker 4: You lost me again, No, I said, not SpongeBob again though.
- 40:35Speaker 9: Right, Oh oh god, I hope so that guy was electric.
- 40:38Speaker 9: I hope we get that guy again.
- 40:40Speaker 7: Daniel Cormier, I'm looking forward to that UFC fighter from Louisiana.
- 40:45Speaker 7: I know a lander will appreciate that we get him. Uh,
- 40:48Speaker 7: I think tomorrow, So I do know that. And and
- 40:50Speaker 7: the schedule usually comes out like the morning of and
- 40:53Speaker 7: that's what we're talking about obviously, like in our production
- 40:56Speaker 7: meetings kind of who we have. I think Baraja Biamilla
- 41:00Speaker 7: is my first guest today. Former Edge Rusher, NFL guy.
- 41:03Speaker 7: He's always a lot of fun to catch up with.
- 41:06Speaker 7: But who was Agbaraja via Mila?
- 41:11Speaker 3: Nice work? Do you work that in the do you
- 41:15Speaker 3: work that in the bathroom looking in the mirror?
- 41:17Speaker 9: No, it's my third year and a half him. If
- 41:19Speaker 9: you don't think the first year I had him, I
- 41:21Speaker 9: had night sweats. You're crazy. But year three I feel
- 41:24Speaker 9: pretty good about it. You know, the first year I.
- 41:27Speaker 7: Was doing super Bowl Radio Monday second segment.
- 41:31Speaker 9: They're like, yeah, you got a Barbaja va Milla. I'm like,
- 41:34Speaker 9: I'm sorry, what God bless you? Yeah, but he know
- 41:38Speaker 9: he's great and so yeah.
- 41:40Speaker 6: Onlike American Ninja Warrior or something.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, he was the host of that.
- 41:45Speaker 9: Yeah, so I think he hits a gosh. I forget
- 41:49Speaker 9: which company. It's awful.
- 41:51Speaker 7: He does a plug for a company every single year
- 41:53Speaker 7: and they sent him to the super Bowl. So that's
- 41:55Speaker 7: my first guest today, Blake said, it kind of heats up.
- 41:59Speaker 7: Probably have somebody really cool on the rundown that I've
- 42:01Speaker 7: already forgotten about. But yeah, Dato Cormier. For me, I've
- 42:04Speaker 7: never had a chance to really talk to him, and
- 42:06Speaker 7: being from Louisiana.
- 42:07Speaker 9: That's gonna be a lot of fun tomorrow.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Sounds good. All right, buddy, we're gonna let you go
- 42:11Speaker 3: because you surprised. Surprise. We're a little bit late for
- 42:14Speaker 3: a break here, so we appreciate the time.
- 42:17Speaker 9: Buddy. Oh yeah, I appreciate you all. Congratulations. I saw
- 42:20Speaker 9: when I woke up Number six.
- 42:22Speaker 4: No, you just broke that news.
- 42:24Speaker 3: We just got a text from somebody, a big deal
- 42:27Speaker 3: Number six mid market morning radio shoe. We moved up
- 42:35Speaker 3: one tech. We're coming for you. Mclarroy. We're coming for you.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Be sure you we'll get there a sloth space. All right, buddy,
- 42:44Speaker 3: you'll have fun. Enjoyed the means we'll talk to you tomorrow.
- 42:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Thanks mister Jacob Hester for joining the show. And we
- 42:52Speaker 3: got to go to break right now, say tuned, off
- 42:54Speaker 3: the bench, Off the bench. You know that some people
- 42:58Speaker 3: some people drink beer in Louisiana. So some people just
- 43:02Speaker 3: drink beer. But you know what interesting people drink do sekis?
- 43:06Speaker 3: Because those sekis isn't for the person who just plays
- 43:10Speaker 3: it safe away. It's for the guy who grills in
- 43:12Speaker 3: the rain, watches three games at once. Maybe argued about
- 43:17Speaker 3: a fourth game. It doesn't matter. That's for the interesting people.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Do Segi is a cris smooth it's legendary kind of
- 43:24Speaker 3: beer you bring in the group, text Chez you know,
- 43:27Speaker 3: game at my place. Oh yeah, I'm bringing it. Well,
- 43:29Speaker 3: there's gonna be a game that a lot of plays,
- 43:30Speaker 3: a lot of Super Bowl parties this week, and so
- 43:32Speaker 3: make sure you're the star of the party. You're bringing
- 43:35Speaker 3: what the people want, not just the dips, but the
- 43:38Speaker 3: right beer. Do Seki's that cold, delicious, crisp Mexican lager.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Maybe it's the Amberg specializle. Maybe it's the Michelada. They
- 43:44Speaker 3: got a taste for everybody everything. Maybe we just bring
- 43:47Speaker 3: it all bottles cans, doesn't matter. So football's on, Friends
- 43:51Speaker 3: are over, Cooler is stock. Make sure you're going for dose,
- 43:53Speaker 3: do it responsibly. But when you're gonna do it, drink beer.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Make sure you're drinking dough.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Seqis Tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 44:12Speaker 3: All right, welcome back here off the bench. Well you're
- 44:14Speaker 3: closing out this show. Time flies by when you're having fun.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Thank you to mister Jacob Pest jumping on mister Nick
- 44:23Speaker 3: Underhill orlan stuff football jumping on the show's got a
- 44:27Speaker 3: lot of fun, good in energy levels. Today we are
- 44:31Speaker 3: going to have to probably save the rest of our
- 44:35Speaker 3: props for tomorrow. We got them all saved right here
- 44:37Speaker 3: in my handed dandy notebook.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Did we finish it now?
- 44:40Speaker 4: We didn't?
- 44:40Speaker 3: We got we got seven more. I believe we do
- 44:45Speaker 3: have a couple of ass bench. We'll get to him quick.
- 44:46Speaker 3: What's your number one super Bowl dynasty of all time?
- 44:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I meant I'll say my My number one favorite almost
- 44:58Speaker 3: super Bowl dynasty was a Buffalo Bills in the nineties.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I believe five appearances in at least four four for
- 45:03Speaker 3: sure in a row where they lost famously. Favorite super
- 45:07Speaker 3: Bowl commercial ever the.
- 45:09Speaker 8: Dorito's one with the little boy He's like, don't touch
- 45:11Speaker 8: my Doritos and don't touch my mama.
- 45:14Speaker 10: But like Rock Paper Scissors where the guy throws the
- 45:16Speaker 10: rock at the other guy to steal the last beer.
- 45:19Speaker 10: Terry Tait Office Linebacker was really.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Good, fantastic. I like the Budweiser frogs. I like the
- 45:25Speaker 3: Clydes Delle, I like the beer commercials. I'm sorry Dorita's
- 45:28Speaker 3: has good ones too. We'll talk more about that tomorrow.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Right here, off the bench.
- 45:31Speaker 4: We love you off the bench, all right.
- 45:34Speaker 3: If you're stalking up for the big game, the game
- 45:39Speaker 3: that's super big this weekend, you're stalking. If you're hosting
- 45:44Speaker 3: a party, maybe you're in charge of the dips, maybe
- 45:46Speaker 3: you're in charge of I don't know, the triangle sandwiches.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I don't know, whatever it is, you can go get
- 45:53Speaker 3: it at Rouse's. They got stuff pre made ready for you,
- 45:55Speaker 3: a easy easy, so you just go there. They got
- 45:58Speaker 3: stuff pre made already ready. You pick it up. You'll
- 46:01Speaker 3: be the star of the party because you're bringing stuff
- 46:03Speaker 3: from Rols's. Or you want to get a little fancy
- 46:05Speaker 3: with it, you want to make some stuff from scratch. Well,
- 46:08Speaker 3: it's the best darn grocery store in Louisiana because they're
- 46:11Speaker 3: a Louisiana company. They got locations all over the place.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Go to rauses dot com, put in your zip code
- 46:17Speaker 3: and you can figure out where the nearest Rouses is to.
- 46:19Speaker 3: You can also see local deals. You can see deals
- 46:22Speaker 3: at your nearest Rouses on Maybe maybe there's some Super
- 46:24Speaker 3: Bowl savings you can go find. If you're gonna do it,
- 46:28Speaker 3: stock up, get those groceries right there, do it locally.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Rouse's Rouse's Market,
