- 0:02Speaker 1: presentation introducing mister Monk E. Hudson and welcome everybody, Phil
- 0:09Speaker 1: Henry Show here from the well. From where are we?
- 0:12Speaker 1: We're still from the old Pacifico in southern California. We
- 0:15Speaker 1: will be at Banana River before you know it. How
- 0:18Speaker 1: are you sorry? I'm great. And we have with us
- 0:21Speaker 1: an interesting gentleman who we were contacted. But yeah, this
- 0:26Speaker 1: gentleman was he, I mean, he was contact but we
- 0:30Speaker 1: contact I contacted you. Yes, he contacted us to make
- 0:36Speaker 1: a public statement concerning his name, the business he's in,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and so forth. And it'd be better sir if mister Henry,
- 0:45Speaker 1: well he you want to tell my story, right, Yes, sir,
- 0:49Speaker 1: my story is this. I have been required by the
- 0:53Speaker 1: courts to make a public to make a publics to
- 0:56Speaker 1: public publish a public statement as to how I want
- 1:02Speaker 1: my name to appear and to be pronounced in the
- 1:05Speaker 1: public record. Now, I own a company, that is we're
- 1:11Speaker 1: in the service business. What do you do, sir? We provide,
- 1:14Speaker 1: we create, We provide nautical equipment. Nautical equipment, yes, sir,
- 1:19Speaker 1: such as boys lines, uh, bumpers, uh, mooring equipment, uh,
- 1:29Speaker 1: slip equipment, cleats, all things that have nothing to do
- 1:33Speaker 1: necessarily with boats, but just with putting boats in a harbor. Well,
- 1:37Speaker 1: putting boats in a harbor. I'm sorry. So you sell
- 1:40Speaker 1: nautical equipment that has to do with boats. No, not
- 1:42Speaker 1: not necessarily boats, but we sell all nautical equipment that
- 1:46Speaker 1: is harbor related. And that would be did you play me, sir?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Go ahead to jama City. He sells equipment that is
- 1:54Speaker 1: in is in a harbor, but is not in a boat. No,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't say that. That's essentially it. Yes,
- 2:02Speaker 1: that's essentially it. Okay, Well that that's fine, sir. And
- 2:04Speaker 1: the name of my company is Harbor Hudson Harbor Boatwater,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Hudson Harbor Boatwater. Yes, we named it that because there
- 2:12Speaker 1: are companies called Hudson Water Hudson. We wanted them to
- 2:15Speaker 1: know that I'm the owner. The equipment we sell has
- 2:19Speaker 1: to do with boats in water. Yes, may I asked
- 2:24Speaker 1: a question, sir, I'm General Galan Shawser. How do you do? Yes?
- 2:26Speaker 1: What is your name? Well, no, hold on, is that bud? Yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna talk about. We're gonna talk about
- 2:32Speaker 1: what your name is well, yes, because I want to
- 2:35Speaker 1: publish this statement at my name be pronounced a certain
- 2:37Speaker 1: way so that I don't have to turn around and
- 2:41Speaker 1: sue people, as I have been doing alternately for most
- 2:44Speaker 1: of my professional life. Okay, before we get into pronouncing
- 2:48Speaker 1: it correctly, Well, what is your name? My name is
- 2:50Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson, Monk E. Hudson. Yes, you did. You
- 2:55Speaker 1: pronounced it perfectly, mister Andrey, and I thank you for that. Okay,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I just was I was following you, Caden monkey Hudson. No, here,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I see look at that you did it. You did
- 3:03Speaker 1: that on purpose, didn't channel? I did what on purpose?
- 3:07Speaker 1: You called me monkey Hudson? Well, sir, that's is this
- 3:10Speaker 1: why you're suing people because your name's Monky. My name
- 3:13Speaker 1: is No, my name is not monkey. My name is
- 3:17Speaker 1: Monk E. Monk Edward Hudson. Okay, so you sue people.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I've been suing people since I was since I was
- 3:25Speaker 1: a majority age for calling me monkey. Naha, Okay, all right,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I understand that. And my name is Monk E. Hudson.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Why do you why even include the middle initial? Because
- 3:37Speaker 1: the middle initial because when I first published my name
- 3:41Speaker 1: on my business cards and when I first got into
- 3:44Speaker 1: business and published my name for on stationery and so
- 3:47Speaker 1: on and so forth. I decided it was better for
- 3:50Speaker 1: people to know that my name was Monk Edward Hudson. Well,
- 3:53Speaker 1: why do I call yourself that? Because people are not
- 3:55Speaker 1: prone to pronouncing three names that monk, you know, Monk
- 3:58Speaker 1: Edward Hudson. They are prone to pronounce the middle initial.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And I decided, since my name was out there public,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I decided I'd roll the dice, take a chance. Because
- 4:09Speaker 1: I wanted to sound professional me, I I'm Margaret Gray, yes, ma'am,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and go ahead. Because I wanted to sound professional, so
- 4:17Speaker 1: I and I wanted to treat people like adults. And
- 4:22Speaker 1: so I published the business card Monkey Hudson. And for
- 4:25Speaker 1: the next, oh, you know, twenty years or so before
- 4:30Speaker 1: I really got serious with the legal action, I've been
- 4:33Speaker 1: Monkey Hudson, Monkey Hudson Hudsbid. All right, may I something? Yes, ma'am,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you're a I'm Margaret Gray, very pleased to meet you.
- 4:42Speaker 1: You publish your name is monkey Hudson. No, my name
- 4:46Speaker 1: is Monk E. Hudson. You know. My attorney says, I've
- 4:49Speaker 1: been monkeyed up. God, I've been monkeyed up, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: that's a term we use a lot. Well, that's good
- 4:54Speaker 1: for you. I've got a lawyer that costs me eight
- 4:57Speaker 1: hundred dollars an hour who looks at me and says
- 5:00Speaker 1: you've been monkeyed. And I say to him, Darryl, I'm
- 5:03Speaker 1: gonna put my fist right. Does the initial right? It's
- 5:07Speaker 1: not monkey Hudson. Yeah, but people call you monkey a lot.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I you're gonna sit god so you can speak freely
- 5:14Speaker 1: a lot of assholes. Yes, okay, So in order for
- 5:18Speaker 1: people not to call you monkey, you say monkey. Yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you pronounced it, and I heard you the cadence, and
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think I caught it. Mister Henry was the one
- 5:24Speaker 1: who you did it, right, Mister Henry, you said Monk E. Hudson?
- 5:27Speaker 1: All right? Your name is Monk E. Hudson? All right?
- 5:30Speaker 1: Do people are people picking up on that? I am
- 5:33Speaker 1: assuming you, Sue. I have been involved with at least
- 5:37Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty lawsuits going back twenty one years,
- 5:42Speaker 1: all of you, and I've tried to tell all of
- 5:43Speaker 1: these go ahead, your jackasses. Yes, all these jackasses who
- 5:49Speaker 1: think it's a left right to call me monkey or
- 5:51Speaker 1: a monkey man, or here comes monkey. So you've retained
- 5:55Speaker 1: attorney and sued people so that they pronounce your name right.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And you have not just decided to call yourself monk. No,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I didn't call myself Monk Hudson because I decided I
- 6:04Speaker 1: would treat people like adults, that I would say to them,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I know you want to get your laughs. Did your
- 6:13Speaker 1: father and your mother did when they named you? Did
- 6:15Speaker 1: they were they aware of this? I believe they were,
- 6:18Speaker 1: and I believe that they were both the loving parents,
- 6:21Speaker 1: very good parents. My father was a great jazz fan
- 6:24Speaker 1: and named me after the great jazz pianist, Theolonist Monk
- 6:28Speaker 1: right hear them? Ever heard of Hell? Yes, the brilliant
- 6:32Speaker 1: the pianist. It was. The last name was the first
- 6:33Speaker 1: name was guy's first name, theolonious? Well why did they
- 6:38Speaker 1: call you theolonius? So anyway, but but I'm not gonna
- 6:42Speaker 1: lose Oh, I don't want to lose my temper. Don't know, sir,
- 6:45Speaker 1: we won't accept that, all right? They called me theolonious
- 6:49Speaker 1: monk m And I believe that they gave me the name.
- 6:54Speaker 1: It was like a boy named Sue. No, I don't
- 6:56Speaker 1: think it was like a boy named Sue. I don't
- 6:58Speaker 1: think you were trying to toughen me up. I think
- 7:00Speaker 1: my father loved thelonious bunk Edward was the name of
- 7:03Speaker 1: my grandfather my mother's side. Sounds like maybe they either
- 7:06Speaker 1: want to tough you up or they were sadistic. No,
- 7:09Speaker 1: they were not sadistic people. They're great people. My parents
- 7:12Speaker 1: think they I think they honestly just overlooked, well what
- 7:15Speaker 1: kenn't you? I think they honestly overlooked what had happened.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Can can you tell me something, sir? When did your
- 7:21Speaker 1: parents pass on? They passed on when I was twelve
- 7:23Speaker 1: years old, both of them at the same time. Yes,
- 7:27Speaker 1: how did they die? If you don't mind me asking, sir,
- 7:28Speaker 1: It was an aerial accident. It was a plane crash.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It was not. It was a a one of these,
- 7:35Speaker 1: a balloon, right, hot air balloon over Fiji, and it
- 7:38Speaker 1: was unfortunate that lost its elevation. There was a malfunction
- 7:45Speaker 1: of the hot air machine on it, and the balloon
- 7:47Speaker 1: itself shredded from the immediate expulsion of this hot air.
- 7:51Speaker 1: From this flame that they had these hot air balloons.
- 7:57Speaker 1: They have a literal flame. Yes, they did these, and
- 8:01Speaker 1: this it's very It's nothing I really like talking about.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I apologize, so we don't mean to bring back bad memories. No,
- 8:09Speaker 1: it's all right. I could just say that the hot air,
- 8:11Speaker 1: the flame from this hot air machine expended the energy
- 8:15Speaker 1: too quickly. It shatted it to shredded the balloon. The balloon,
- 8:18Speaker 1: it just blew a bit. So the balloon blew up
- 8:22Speaker 1: and they plummeted to earth. Shit, bud, Sorry, sir, Yeah, yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 1: that's thanks a lot. Sorry. We're here with monkey, not
- 8:31Speaker 1: monkey monkey Hudson. Yes, and sir, you have decided to
- 8:35Speaker 1: take legal action against anyone that doesn't pronounce your name
- 8:38Speaker 1: right because you have published your name since you were
- 8:41Speaker 1: profess Why did you become a profession Why did you
- 8:43Speaker 1: enter the professional life? Well, I saw my first job
- 8:47Speaker 1: when I was a kid, but I decided when I
- 8:49Speaker 1: became an eighteen nineteen year old and I started in
- 8:51Speaker 1: the I started giving tours in venta harper uh and
- 8:56Speaker 1: I started I started just taking people on fishing exurgons.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I worked for the deep sea fishermen, a variety of
- 9:02Speaker 1: them here in the in the in the Venture and
- 9:05Speaker 1: Channel Islands Harbor. When I was young, but I had
- 9:08Speaker 1: my own card and I had my own tour business
- 9:11Speaker 1: of the Channel Islands. You took people on tours of
- 9:13Speaker 1: Channel Islands, Yes, dripped them on the tours, and we
- 9:16Speaker 1: had I was a Monkey Hudson tours, and that that
- 9:19Speaker 1: was the decision. Also that you made that decision that you,
- 9:22Speaker 1: as you say, treat people like adults. Yes, and you
- 9:26Speaker 1: published your name Monkey Hudson. Yes, all right, sir, So
- 9:30Speaker 1: you're on our show tonight. I'm on your show tonight
- 9:33Speaker 1: to make this public appeal, as my attorney recommended that
- 9:35Speaker 1: I try this, since everything else has failed and everyone's
- 9:40Speaker 1: calling you monkey in my life. Yes, not everyone, but
- 9:42Speaker 1: every now and again I hear someone call me, hey monkey,
- 9:47Speaker 1: And rather than laugh it off, oh, I can tell
- 9:51Speaker 1: you that I've I've literally torn ropes in half. I've
- 9:56Speaker 1: I put my head through a door. This guy here
- 10:01Speaker 1: is laughing. That's not gonna work, mystery. But why don't
- 10:03Speaker 1: you go ahead and leave? Okay, you put your head
- 10:08Speaker 1: through a door, Yes, I did. I put my head
- 10:10Speaker 1: through the through a cabin door on a fishing boat
- 10:15Speaker 1: when someone said hey monkey. You know, so the appeal
- 10:20Speaker 1: is what the appeal is to anyone who's in business
- 10:23Speaker 1: with me, anyone who is going to do business with me.
- 10:28Speaker 1: That my name is Monk E. Hudson. That is Monk
- 10:31Speaker 1: Edward Hudson. Why don't you call yourself Monk Edward Hudson,
- 10:34Speaker 1: because again, this is a it's too formal, and I
- 10:38Speaker 1: think people are going to default to the Monk E. Hudson.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Now you understand, mister Hudson, that would you forget my name?
- 10:47Speaker 1: I almost did. Yes, I'm trying to put it out
- 10:49Speaker 1: of my mind. Well that's that's almost a good thing.
- 10:52Speaker 1: It's almost a blessing. Huh. Yes. However, because it's in
- 10:55Speaker 1: my business, is something I need to have out there.
- 10:58Speaker 1: All right. So here's the thing that I'm that I'm thinking,
- 11:02Speaker 1: when you tell people that your name is funny sounding
- 11:04Speaker 1: or what have you, then they have. But I'm not
- 11:08Speaker 1: saying that. I'm saying my name is monkey Hudson. I'm
- 11:10Speaker 1: not saying it's funny sounding. I'm saying I want people
- 11:12Speaker 1: to call me monkey Hudson. So go ahead. So I
- 11:18Speaker 1: don't put my head through a door. So I don't
- 11:23Speaker 1: put my head through another door. So I don't put
- 11:25Speaker 1: my head through another door. All right, go ahead, sir,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you are you're gonna explain what I'm saying. Is well,
- 11:32Speaker 1: a general go ahead. The point I'm trying to make
- 11:35Speaker 1: is when you make an issue of this, people knowing
- 11:38Speaker 1: people as I do, are gonna tend to go ahead now,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and really they're gonna lean into the joke. They're gonna, yes,
- 11:44Speaker 1: lean into the joke and call you a monkey Hudson.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And well that's your that's your opinion, all right, that
- 11:50Speaker 1: is my opinion. But I put money on it. I
- 11:53Speaker 1: think the General is right. What do you Okay, So
- 11:55Speaker 1: go ahead and run it by me again. When you
- 11:58Speaker 1: say to somebody, don't call me monkey Hudson, called me
- 12:01Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson, people are gonna say, well, why don't
- 12:04Speaker 1: you want to be called monkey Hudson's because it's I
- 12:06Speaker 1: don't like it. And they'll get, oh, I get it
- 12:09Speaker 1: because your name's monkey. And you'll say, I please don't
- 12:12Speaker 1: say that, and as a gag, well, but you see,
- 12:15Speaker 1: here's the problem. Yes, now you're pointing it out. It's
- 12:19Speaker 1: not the General's fault. I don't think it's the general. No, no, well,
- 12:22Speaker 1: but he's pointing it out. Now. I came on your
- 12:24Speaker 1: program to say, my name is Monk E. Hudson. Now
- 12:28Speaker 1: here's the general here your name? What is sir, my
- 12:31Speaker 1: name's General Galen Shaw. Okay, what if I called you, hey, gay?
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's what people used to call me before I was
- 12:36Speaker 1: in the military. What is your name, gay, Galen Shaw?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I use the name Galen, right, but you avoid someone
- 12:44Speaker 1: calling you gay? Say that again? All right, we're not
- 12:47Speaker 1: talking about him. No, but it's the same thing. My
- 12:50Speaker 1: name is General Galen Shaw. If you want to call
- 12:52Speaker 1: me Galen, if you want to call me gay and
- 12:54Speaker 1: you wink and you laugh, then you won't have to
- 12:57Speaker 1: put your head through a door. I can do it
- 12:59Speaker 1: for you now, all right, see I iPhone. That is
- 13:01Speaker 1: a direct threat. Hold hold on, gentlemen, Wait a minute, No,
- 13:04Speaker 1: that's it. No, I'm not threatening you that well, that's
- 13:06Speaker 1: what that's how it came across. Hold on, gentlemen. Wait, wait, wit.
- 13:08Speaker 1: The General's not threatening. I think he's saying in general,
- 13:10Speaker 1: anybody that's calling him that, I'm saying, I understand you
- 13:14Speaker 1: putting your head through a door. I would rather instead
- 13:17Speaker 1: put the guy who called me gay or monkey, I
- 13:20Speaker 1: put his head through a door. Well, I'm not a
- 13:22Speaker 1: violent man, I am. I'm very much a person who
- 13:27Speaker 1: is reasonable. Well, sir, it is reasonable for you and
- 13:30Speaker 1: my hat's off to you to say I want to
- 13:32Speaker 1: treat people like adults. Here's my name, here's my business card.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Please pronounce it this way and not the other way. Yes, sir,
- 13:38Speaker 1: that is it? And has you? Has you? Has I?
- 13:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I have you? He said, here's you, mister Henry.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I got it, Bud. But they're right there. There's the triskets,
- 13:48Speaker 1: thank you? Could I have I'm sorry to bully. Could
- 13:50Speaker 1: I have some of those triskets? Yeah, Bud? Bring the
- 13:53Speaker 1: triskets over here, thank you? My favorite crack here. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: they're pretty good. Hey you. So we have with this
- 14:01Speaker 1: Monkey Hudson who is making a public appeal here on
- 14:05Speaker 1: our program tonight, to call him Monkey Hudson and not
- 14:07Speaker 1: Monkey Hudson because the obvious reason. Yes, for the obvious reason,
- 14:12Speaker 1: because how people abuse your name, well, you know how
- 14:15Speaker 1: they've done it. They pay monkey hey, monkey man. They've
- 14:18Speaker 1: called me monkey man, hey monkey. Someone called me monkey
- 14:22Speaker 1: boy about two weeks ago. And I, you know, you
- 14:25Speaker 1: put your head through a door. I didn't put my
- 14:27Speaker 1: head through a door, but I I punched a I
- 14:30Speaker 1: punched a wall and that did damage that I had
- 14:33Speaker 1: to pay for. So, uh, who called you monkey, monkey Boy,
- 14:37Speaker 1: one of my clients. He's got a yacht, the pleasure
- 14:40Speaker 1: yacht that we equip with that we more for him.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And when you say more, what does that mean? That's
- 14:45Speaker 1: that's anchoring it out in the harbor, right, Yes, it's
- 14:48Speaker 1: it's instead of being in a slip, the boat has
- 14:50Speaker 1: anchored in the harbor. I see. And so there's a
- 14:54Speaker 1: client of mind today, a monkey boy. And this is
- 14:57Speaker 1: a man who pays very well. We've been with he's
- 14:58Speaker 1: been with my business for fifteen sixteen years. I was
- 15:02Speaker 1: at that time, I was affixing some cleats to the
- 15:06Speaker 1: deck of his of his craft, and as soon as
- 15:10Speaker 1: I heard, hey, monkey boy, I put my fist right
- 15:13Speaker 1: through the side of the boat. You're kidding, No, I'm
- 15:15Speaker 1: not kidding. I would not kid you. I heard a
- 15:18Speaker 1: monkey boy in my fist. I imagine it was his face.
- 15:22Speaker 1: He's gonna hear this, I know, but I've already apologized.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I said, look that the whole that was supposed to
- 15:28Speaker 1: be a face, and he just shrugged his shoulders and
- 15:32Speaker 1: sort of walked away, but he kept he walked me
- 15:34Speaker 1: back away as he was looking at me. He was
- 15:37Speaker 1: inebriated at the time. And he may be listening to
- 15:40Speaker 1: this podcast. He may be, but he is. This is
- 15:42Speaker 1: my point, Miss Henry. I'm treating you people like adults.
- 15:47Speaker 1: When that guy who is a long long standing customer
- 15:50Speaker 1: of Mind says, hey, monkey boy and my and I
- 15:53Speaker 1: punched that portal, you want him to apologize. I'm not apologize,
- 15:58Speaker 1: but to understand. If I'm on this podcast right now
- 16:00Speaker 1: and he hears that, he knows what my feelings are. Now,
- 16:02Speaker 1: what if you go back to your business? So this
- 16:05Speaker 1: man is is he a daily How do people do
- 16:07Speaker 1: business with you? Well, they they pay me on a
- 16:09Speaker 1: monthly basis to maintain the slips, to maintain the moorings, uh,
- 16:14Speaker 1: to maintain the equipment on their on their craft. Okay,
- 16:17Speaker 1: so this guy listens to this podcast just you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: by happenstance. And here's you say. This guy called me
- 16:23Speaker 1: monkey boy and I punched a porthole. What do you
- 16:26Speaker 1: say to him if he brings it up to you,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I say that that is the case. I want to
- 16:29Speaker 1: treat you like an adult. I'd like to to you
- 16:33Speaker 1: not to call me monkey boy. My name is Monkey Hudson.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And if he kept on he said, well, okay, monkey boy,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I had a guy do that once, you know, he
- 16:40Speaker 1: just kept on calling a monkey. Yeah, he said, hey monkey,
- 16:43Speaker 1: he did the monkey sound, yes, and I did my
- 16:49Speaker 1: everlasting regret. I put my hands around his throat. Oh
- 16:52Speaker 1: my god, I remember like it was yesterday. I put
- 16:54Speaker 1: my hands around his throat and I lift him, lifted
- 16:56Speaker 1: him off the ground, Oh my god. And I said,
- 17:00Speaker 1: don't you ever And then I just dropped him and
- 17:02Speaker 1: I went and I walked into traffic. God, I prayed
- 17:04Speaker 1: for a truck. You gotta be kidding. You are suicidal
- 17:07Speaker 1: just that brief moment, and then I ran away. I
- 17:10Speaker 1: was gone for a couple of days. Oh my god, sir. Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: So the man who called me monkey boy, I'm not
- 17:15Speaker 1: gonna do that. I'm just gonna say to him, if
- 17:16Speaker 1: you call me monkey boy one more time, then I'm
- 17:20Speaker 1: going to tie an anchor around myself and throw myself.
- 17:24Speaker 1: All right, So this is very traumatic. Why why are
- 17:26Speaker 1: you what? What's the problem, Because mister Henry, for twenty
- 17:29Speaker 1: one years, I've been hearing people say to me, hey,
- 17:32Speaker 1: monkey boy, Hey, monkey boy, can you do the money?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Have you heard monkey time by Major Lance walking through
- 17:38Speaker 1: the park and what I don't know how it goes,
- 17:41Speaker 1: you know, do the monkey time, Monkey Time? I like
- 17:45Speaker 1: that song andn't that nice? I don't like that song.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I hate that song. I hate Bonzo. I hate Bonzo,
- 17:51Speaker 1: the Chimp, I hate all of that. I hate God,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I hate monkeys. You don't really hate the monkey. I
- 17:57Speaker 1: don't hate the monkey. But anyway, So, what we'd like
- 18:01Speaker 1: to say here, folks, if you're involved professionally with mister Hudson,
- 18:05Speaker 1: if you're involved, tell you why don't we take a break.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Let's take a break. Let's kind of go over what
- 18:09Speaker 1: we're been talking about. Yeah, you go to a trus get. Yeah,
- 18:11Speaker 1: I would like a trus get. Thank you? Did I
- 18:13Speaker 1: get up and go get? Yeah? Go ahead? Yeah, these
- 18:16Speaker 1: are good. Yeah. That's mister Monkey Hudson, who has for
- 18:21Speaker 1: twenty one year has been called monkey Hudson. He doesn't
- 18:24Speaker 1: like it. People have been in chimpanzee sounds. What are
- 18:29Speaker 1: you laughing at? You laughing? No, No, I'm not. I
- 18:33Speaker 1: have a chest called Yeah. We're gonna be right back
- 18:38Speaker 1: here in the world famous Phil Henry Show with mister
- 18:39Speaker 1: Monkey Hudson. This is Mark Dale Batty and I've been
- 18:43Speaker 1: doing business with Marky Hudson Harbor boat bat What is
- 18:47Speaker 1: it called again? The name of my god, damn it.
- 18:50Speaker 1: The name of my business is Harbor boat Water. Yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 1: said Harbor Bowltwater for some sixteen years. I'm sorry, I
- 18:56Speaker 1: forgot the name of it. That's all I can do
- 18:59Speaker 1: to just ma E Hudson, Monkey Hudson. Wow, I'm sorry. Sorry,
- 19:05Speaker 1: Monkey Hudson. And I'll tell you he is a great businessman.
- 19:09Speaker 1: He services the product. He keeps your boat in tiptop shape,
- 19:13Speaker 1: keeps the slip in the moorings and tiptop shape. Make
- 19:15Speaker 1: sure all those bumpers are in great, great shape. Make
- 19:18Speaker 1: sure all the lines and all the mainstrel sheets, everything
- 19:21Speaker 1: looks good on your sailing craft. I hardly recommend Harbor
- 19:25Speaker 1: boat Water. I heartily recommend Harbor boat Water from Monkey. Okay,
- 19:34Speaker 1: let's watch the language, Monkey Hudson, Monkey Hudson, Monk E Hudson,
- 19:39Speaker 1: call Monk E Hudson Harbor Boat Water today and get
- 19:43Speaker 1: an estimate. That's Monk E. Hudson at Harbor Boat Water.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Call now, I said to call now. Yes, welcome here
- 19:53Speaker 1: the world famous phill Every show. We're back with Monkey Hudson.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We have Margaret Gray and Phil Henry we've got Bud
- 20:00Speaker 1: Dickman is rejoining us here just so long as we're not.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And we also have mister Mark E. Hudson. I would
- 20:07Speaker 1: rather that this guy's not laughing at me, right, I'm sorry, sorry,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I did not mean to laugh Monkey Hudson, you see, Sorry, Sir,
- 20:16Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson has an appeal that he's making on
- 20:20Speaker 1: our program tonight, which is to police pronounce his name,
- 20:22Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson. And this is the way you've been
- 20:26Speaker 1: known professionally throughout your professional life. You didn't call yourself
- 20:29Speaker 1: Monk Hudson, nothing like that. No, I did not because
- 20:32Speaker 1: I wanted to treat. But this was my name, Monk E. Hudson.
- 20:36Speaker 1: And and why why most people don't use the middle
- 20:38Speaker 1: of initial. I use the middle initial in business. I
- 20:41Speaker 1: think it sounds. I think formalizing our name like this
- 20:45Speaker 1: actually attracts business. And whether it's in real estate or
- 20:48Speaker 1: any other game, formalizing your name using excuse me, I
- 20:52Speaker 1: had to belch yeh any want a Napkins? No, I
- 20:54Speaker 1: don't need a napkin. Okay, Formalizing a name like this
- 21:01Speaker 1: helps in business. So I decided at an early age
- 21:04Speaker 1: that I would call myself Monky Hudson. Uh not not,
- 21:09Speaker 1: what about monk Edward. No, I already told you, Hey,
- 21:13Speaker 1: mister Hudson, take it easy. I'm sorry, but I'm sorry,
- 21:17Speaker 1: but I'm what I'm trying to get the message out here.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I don't call myself monk Edward Hudson because it sounds
- 21:22Speaker 1: like I got my nose up my own ass. You know,
- 21:25Speaker 1: all right? Got to calm down, sir, Yes, sir, it's
- 21:28Speaker 1: called me to calm down. I'm the guy that's been
- 21:30Speaker 1: called monkey. You are very very disturbed by this, have you.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I got to ask you this question, and I don't
- 21:36Speaker 1: want you to be offended by it. Okay, and tell
- 21:38Speaker 1: me you know you can argue with me, but don't
- 21:40Speaker 1: be offended at the point where you're you know, you
- 21:43Speaker 1: lose track. You already look at you already treated me
- 21:46Speaker 1: like I belong in a nut bin. No, sir, but
- 21:48Speaker 1: I have to ask you this now. I forgot. Here's
- 21:53Speaker 1: the question. When you are called monk Edward Hudson. You
- 21:57Speaker 1: say that sounds too formal, Yes, absolutely, So you short
- 22:00Speaker 1: it down to monkey Hudson. Oh boy, you just said
- 22:03Speaker 1: monkey Hudson. I'm sorry, monkey Hudson. Yes, and you expect
- 22:07Speaker 1: people to pronounce it properly. Yes, I do. I don't
- 22:10Speaker 1: think there's anything. And I want to treat people like adults.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Let me tell you what happens when people don't act
- 22:15Speaker 1: like adults. Yeah, what's been your experience? My experience is
- 22:19Speaker 1: that you have to start somewhere, and if I'm the
- 22:23Speaker 1: one that it starts with, that's fine. I'm gonna treat
- 22:25Speaker 1: you like an adult. In fact, I said that to
- 22:28Speaker 1: a perspective a business part by a guy by the
- 22:30Speaker 1: name of Joe Gonad. Okay, Joe, we know Joe Gonad.
- 22:33Speaker 1: He used to advertise on our show, or at least
- 22:35Speaker 1: I think he advertised where but Milwaukee Lions. Yeah, well
- 22:38Speaker 1: he had this the lemonade. Yes, yeah, and he was
- 22:42Speaker 1: a very violent man. And the reason why he was
- 22:45Speaker 1: violent he doesn't like the way people would say, hey,
- 22:47Speaker 1: Joe Gonad and he made this great lemonade. Well, we
- 22:51Speaker 1: know of his advertising people. In fact, he put it
- 22:55Speaker 1: into his advertising saying when you go in to get
- 22:58Speaker 1: Joe Gonad lemonade, you may not come out. Well that's
- 23:00Speaker 1: it's a bit of hyperbole. But yeah, there were a
- 23:03Speaker 1: couple of missing people that they never were able to
- 23:05Speaker 1: track down and they thought maybe Gonad did something to him.
- 23:07Speaker 1: But this friend of mine, Joe Gonad, Okay, did this
- 23:10Speaker 1: guy influence you? I would say so because he said,
- 23:13Speaker 1: that's my name. I'm not going to change it for
- 23:16Speaker 1: any one of these lovers out there that wants to
- 23:18Speaker 1: call me. Hey Gonhad Yeah, and then they reached down
- 23:20Speaker 1: and squeeze it. I'm sorry, man, Well you know, grow up,
- 23:23Speaker 1: you guys. I'm very very sorry. He said, don't ever
- 23:26Speaker 1: let anyone make you ashamed of your name. I said, well, Joe,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm not going to get violent the way you do.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He said, Well to each his home. That's when he
- 23:34Speaker 1: wandered off across a highway and I never saw him.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I don't think anybody ever saw him again. Wait a minute,
- 23:38Speaker 1: what happened? What happened? Joe Gonad's been missing now for
- 23:42Speaker 1: about seven years, and you were the last guy to
- 23:44Speaker 1: talk to him. Yes, I was, and yes, the police
- 23:46Speaker 1: already talked to me. Well, who's looking for him? Who's
- 23:50Speaker 1: looking a woman by the name of Belinda Gonad. If
- 23:53Speaker 1: you really need to know who's she? Who's she? That's
- 23:56Speaker 1: his wife? Okay, sir, let's I'm sorry, mister Henry, but
- 24:00Speaker 1: I don't even want to talk about Joe Gonet Belinda Gonett.
- 24:04Speaker 1: All right, you know what, please, sir? All right, Okay,
- 24:08Speaker 1: So Joe Goonad told you, Yes, Joe Goonett told me
- 24:11Speaker 1: risk people need to respect your name otherwise they're not
- 24:15Speaker 1: worth a pinch of coon shit? What's the language? Watch it? Sorry, So,
- 24:21Speaker 1: in keeping with what Joe Goonett told you, you are
- 24:25Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson and not Monkey Hudson and none of that.
- 24:28Speaker 1: And you're not going to change your name to Monk Hudson. Well,
- 24:30Speaker 1: it's not changing my name, but that's yeah, you're using
- 24:33Speaker 1: a shortened version. I'm not going to use the shortened version. Okay.
- 24:36Speaker 1: This is the name my mother and father gave me,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and I will force the world to accept it. Okay.
- 24:42Speaker 1: This podcast is intended to go out to a world
- 24:44Speaker 1: that is going to be doing business with you, Yes, sir.
- 24:46Speaker 1: This podcast is intended to be heard by people who
- 24:50Speaker 1: either are doing business with you now or will do
- 24:52Speaker 1: business with you now. And you want them to know
- 24:54Speaker 1: what I want them to know that my name, out
- 24:56Speaker 1: of respect, would they please pronounce it Monk E. Hudson
- 25:00Speaker 1: and not monkey or a monkey boy, or hey monkey
- 25:05Speaker 1: time you know this and they dance around or a
- 25:08Speaker 1: monkey man, none of that. Okay, you just gave them
- 25:12Speaker 1: about five different Yeah, you just gave them about five
- 25:13Speaker 1: different ways of saying it. I know I did. But
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm saying I'm treating you like an adult, maybe for
- 25:18Speaker 1: the first time in your life. And most of the customer,
- 25:21Speaker 1: most of the people I do with my business of men.
- 25:23Speaker 1: So I say to them, for the first maybe for
- 25:24Speaker 1: the first time in your life, I'm treating you like
- 25:27Speaker 1: a man. I'm saying to you, be a man and
- 25:31Speaker 1: pronounce my name like a white man should. And hold
- 25:35Speaker 1: on for a minute. What does that mean? I'm sorry.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I didn't mean to say that. God man, that's blatant racism, sir.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I just I'm sorry. What is that supposed
- 25:43Speaker 1: to mean? In other words, you don't expect people of
- 25:44Speaker 1: color to pronounce your name, right, I apologize. It's just
- 25:49Speaker 1: a kid that it's the company I keep. People should
- 25:51Speaker 1: pronounce your name like an adult male should. Yes, sir,
- 25:54Speaker 1: that's what I meant to say. I apologize. I'm under
- 25:57Speaker 1: a lot of pressure and the business, the people I
- 26:01Speaker 1: do business with are blatant racists. They are as racist
- 26:05Speaker 1: as you can get. And that's why I'm saying to them,
- 26:09Speaker 1: of all the things you do wrong in life, do
- 26:11Speaker 1: this one thing. Call me Monky Hudson and not Monkey Hudson,
- 26:16Speaker 1: like the racist shit. And I also play cards that
- 26:19Speaker 1: I fish with a bunch of guys I've known my
- 26:21Speaker 1: whole life, good guys. But they are racist to the bone.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I mean, making every kind of joke. They've got little
- 26:29Speaker 1: ku klux klan key change. But they're good people, They're
- 26:33Speaker 1: decent people. And I'll say to them, would you knock
- 26:35Speaker 1: it off with that stuff? Okay and quit acting like
- 26:39Speaker 1: the racist shit bag that you are. Would you please
- 26:41Speaker 1: watch your language? I'm sorry, Yeah, I'm sorry. All right. So, folks,
- 26:47Speaker 1: to the extent that you're going to respect to mister
- 26:49Speaker 1: Hudson's wishes. He'd like to be called Monkey Hudson, bud
- 26:52Speaker 1: What say his name? Monkey? What? An asshole? No? What's
- 26:58Speaker 1: his name? I'm sorry, sorry, Unk E Hudson, General Monk
- 27:02Speaker 1: E Hudson, Margaret Monk E Hudson. And you are to me,
- 27:06Speaker 1: sir Monk E. Hudson. Thank you, And that's how I
- 27:09Speaker 1: want people to know me. And uh, and let's put it.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Let's put it in the pad, Let's put it to bed.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Let's put it in a coffin, shovel dirt on top
- 27:17Speaker 1: of it, put a stick in the ground. It says,
- 27:20Speaker 1: here lies Monkey Hudson, and with a big What I
- 27:23Speaker 1: wanted to do was carve a big finger, doing like
- 27:26Speaker 1: Selly flipping off. Yes. I don't want a headstone. I
- 27:29Speaker 1: don't want to cross. I want one giant finger with
- 27:33Speaker 1: my name on it. That's gonna be your that will
- 27:37Speaker 1: be the death of Monkey Hudson. Are you really Yes,
- 27:41Speaker 1: We're gonna put up a memorial to Monkey Hudson over
- 27:44Speaker 1: here at Bosco Meadows. What is that? Oh that's the cemetery. Yes,
- 27:48Speaker 1: you can put up a memorial there with nobody. Oh, yeah,
- 27:51Speaker 1: you can put up a memorial memorial there. Pay them up.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I want a tombstone that's shaped like someone flipping a finger,
- 27:58Speaker 1: and on it it says here lies Monkey Hudson. Sit
- 28:02Speaker 1: on this, Okay, and once that's done. Once that's done,
- 28:06Speaker 1: then I will expect people to call me Monky Hudson
- 28:10Speaker 1: and not Monkey Hudson. Well, I wish you well, sir.
- 28:13Speaker 1: The look on your face is you think I'm just
- 28:15Speaker 1: so full of shit. My eyes are brown. You know
- 28:17Speaker 1: you're pretty free with the language. Well, I'm just isn't
- 28:20Speaker 1: that what you think, mister Andry? No, I don't think
- 28:22Speaker 1: you're full of you know, I don't think you're full
- 28:23Speaker 1: of shit. I don't, I really don't. But I just
- 28:26Speaker 1: don't know how successful, how successful you're going to be
- 28:30Speaker 1: asking people to be adults. Listen, I've been in social media,
- 28:33Speaker 1: I've been broadcasting, I've been in media my whole life.
- 28:36Speaker 1: And I hate to tell you this, but adults, as
- 28:38Speaker 1: much as they want to think of themselves as adults,
- 28:40Speaker 1: they are not. Well what does that mean? You know
- 28:42Speaker 1: what it means, Markie. You've been around long enough to
- 28:44Speaker 1: know that people even though they are adults, even though
- 28:46Speaker 1: they have children, even though they have husbands and wives
- 28:49Speaker 1: and businesses and and ought to know better and need
- 28:52Speaker 1: to protect what they have. We'll go ahead and just,
- 28:55Speaker 1: you know, roll the dice and be an asshole. All right. Well,
- 28:57Speaker 1: that's that's been your experien that's been my spins up
- 29:01Speaker 1: to now. But I'm saying, I'm saying that you know
- 29:06Speaker 1: you're hoping. Yes, all right, Well, I wish you the best,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and Jay, we got Jay Sandis this year? Jay, what
- 29:13Speaker 1: are you doing here? I thought I was going to
- 29:15Speaker 1: record some promos from my program? All right, why'd you
- 29:18Speaker 1: come on in here for a second? Jay, meet mister
- 29:21Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson. How are you, sir? How do you do?
- 29:24Speaker 1: And he wants to be called Monkey Hudson. He said,
- 29:27Speaker 1: you want to be called what? I want to be called?
- 29:29Speaker 1: Monk E. Hudson? Well, your name? Oh so I get it.
- 29:32Speaker 1: So your name he sounds like you're monkey, But I'm
- 29:35Speaker 1: not monkey. I don't want to be called monkey. I
- 29:37Speaker 1: understand I'm called Monk E. Hudson, monkey monkey Hudson. No,
- 29:42Speaker 1: and Jay, you're bright enough to get this. I'm not
- 29:44Speaker 1: trying to Oh my god, what's the story here? Jay?
- 29:47Speaker 1: This is mister Hudson wants his name pronounced, his name
- 29:51Speaker 1: pronounced correctly? Okay, oh my, what do you got a
- 29:53Speaker 1: nervous disease? No? I don't have a nervous disease. He
- 29:55Speaker 1: wants his name pronounced correctly. So would you do that?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Just to show him? But the at least the people
- 30:01Speaker 1: who are associated with this show take him seriously. I
- 30:03Speaker 1: certainly what your name is? What, sir, Monk E. Hudson?
- 30:07Speaker 1: All right, yes, monk E Hudson, I understand that. But
- 30:10Speaker 1: you gotta understand, I want to say, sence Auxury Police,

- 30:19Speaker 1: They're gonna walk up to you and go hey monkey
- 30:22Speaker 1: oo ooo woo, and you're gonna wanna take their heads.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna want to take their heads and squeeze them
- 30:29Speaker 1: until they head until it pops. Whoa man ahead, jacobing
- 30:35Speaker 1: to the studio culture. Who is that ass? That's J
- 30:39Speaker 1: Santus of the citizens. Auxury police call me an ass
- 30:42Speaker 1: or I'm warning you don't do it. Then pronounce my
- 30:45Speaker 1: name right monkey man, monkey, monkey man, monkey, excuse me,
- 30:50Speaker 1: monkey man? What are you doing, golden sir? What a
- 30:55Speaker 1: flick an asshottle? All I did was squeeze your head. Well, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I can't. They did what happened to him? He just
- 31:02Speaker 1: wait a couple of seconds. Your head will go back
- 31:04Speaker 1: into right shape. My head will go back and he
- 31:06Speaker 1: writes you, oh my god, you squeeze my head until
- 31:09Speaker 1: I was like flat. Santos you never looked so good,
- 31:14Speaker 1: mister Hudson. We wish you the best and thank you

- 31:36Speaker 1: I guess that's it. It's the world famous Phil Henry Show. Jay,
- 31:41Speaker 1: my head think gang all right when that happens. So

- 31:51Speaker 1: know something, Sure I could sue you for that. His
- 31:53Speaker 1: head was flattened. I squeezed his head. You clean look
