- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: Happy holidays.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I am Nick Kendall going by your trickle.

- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: We got Dylan behind the scenes helping us out again.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: So you guys can be on your worst behavior again.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Although, San is watching this time of year.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you walk in an up there goes Facebook.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that would happen after it struggled there.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully that's not a problem.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Dylan.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is Broncos Rebrecht, just like I said, man, Eric, it is a lot of fun to be here.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the holidays are right around the corner.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: This will be the last episode in this location for me as we head back to the homeland here.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: How are you doing?
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: And you look a little different since I last saw you.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yours may be a little larger, what's going on?
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm doing all right, I'm a little tired.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Kit is sick and started throwing a slice night and whenever she sick, it means I go sleep out on the couch because she just won't term off.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: And so she goes and sleeped in our bed with her.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't really sleep on the couch, but I'm doing good.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it's at 10 of the year and normally I wear the holiday hats, the Santa hats throughout the month of December, but Kat, forgetting the grab one in last night before the kid started throwing up.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: She decided to grab one for me and told me to wear it.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: Got you it threw up in the hat.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's a win there.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't you just can't tell Okay, I mean I can I can smell it But uh, no, we have just discussing people turn it off.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're gonna talk a little bit of broncos jacks today Maybe I don't know for Denver Luke or somebody in here.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll do a mock draft We'll start to look ahead.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: I've we got the college football playoffs right around the corner as well Speaking of Denver Luke.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: We want to say hello to you coming in here says good morning with the coffee emoji
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: I will drink to that Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, whatever you want to say.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: My favorite coffee mug.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I really enjoy this time of year.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's got just the perfect handhold on it.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: So sip for Denver Luke in the 199 Precheat is so much, man.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: I do like the flavored coffee here.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: I will admit some people think that's treasonous up with the creamer in it.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: Makes me, makes me happy.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Rankio coming in and also makes me happy.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: He says, good morning, Nick and Eric.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Broncos for breakfast.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Go, bow, Broncos.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: We got that thumbs up coming in from Juan Rivera.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you one over on Facebook, I think.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you guys click the thumbs up, like, subscribe, share, all that good stuff.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: David Youngkin coming in here, David.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you're doing well, buddy.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: You've been in the front of my mind here with all your health concerns going on.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I know it's the holiday season.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: That can be just an added pressure on top of it.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: hopefully you're feeling better and glad you can join us.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: Every time you're here, it's a good time.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: So he says, don't think the Broncos overlooked any team this season.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think they're well enough coach and they have the good enough character in there that they haven't overlooked anybody.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think if they've overlooked anyone though, it's probably the Jets game, right?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: Just because that, I don't know if that was the overseas stuff but that game was just in a front to God all around.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: That was so ugly to watch, they got the win
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: That was one of the ones that is just like you covered your eyes the whole time and feeling sick of your stomach.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know if they overlooked them or they just didn't fully show up, especially with what we've seen at Jet's defense look like a lot this year.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: They're one of the worst defenses and they made.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Then we made them look really good, but got the win in the end.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's what counts.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, to the Jet's room.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: The first game against the Raiders kind of looking at the game those coming up next Titans week one, maybe two.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think Titan's week one was more so just, you know, the pretty standard week one struggles that team typically show, there would be the two games that I'd say they possibly overlooked, but, you know, it's tough to say for sure with this team, with how, you know, just how bad they were offensively, because it wasn't like, it wasn't that they were tearing up and might not believe and then they went into those two games and they struggled.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: They were struggling pretty consistently up to that point.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm not sure they really overlooked them, especially with this coaching staff.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: They were really, they've been really focused all season long.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, even after clenching a playoff spot, the celebrations in the locker were held to a minimum because as Sean Payton has said, as they had still had more work to do.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: They still had, you know, there's still the division title.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: There's still the AFC, there's a little, the tops in the AFC, they're still, you know, on and on and on that they couldn't really take that time to sit back and relax and enjoy it because it was on to the Jaguars, pretty quickly for them.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: So, they've kept that focus throughout
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually an agreement.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they've really overlooked anyone this season, and if you can make an argument for it, it would be the jets or the raiders.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, every game in the NFL is tough.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: I keep saying that, you know, you can't overlook anybody really.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: You see it all the time.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's not liking college football where you have the SEC scheduling a swag school in November, where they're beating them 60 to three.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: This is it's the NFL.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: Anything can happen.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, not every team is good enough to win the Super Bowl, but in one game, it's such a matchup based league.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you can have some crazy results.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: So appreciate your David coming in here.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Good morning.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Good morning.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Good morning.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: We got one coming in with a thumbs up over on Facebook land.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: He says from Midlay in Texas, we'll hopefully you're having some good weather.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have like a hazardous fire warning in Denver today.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think because of the wind and how dry it is.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I still have my power right now.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's not super windy yet.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think it starts at about 10 a.m.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think power might be going off in some places, just to prevent transformers blowing over and causing wildfires.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: So crazy, it's been an unbelievable weather time on the West Coast on the west side of the Continental US.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about where you're at right now, Eric, but Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, we're getting slammed right now.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: hot guys are getting hit with all the the windstorm that we got hit with about you know the first couple weeks of December that absolutely reached all sorts of havoc a little bit more up north than when I'm at kind of in the valley a little bit north of Anchorage but it was pretty bad up here and it just swept down your guys' way and hope everybody's being safe with how bad the winds are.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I saw some wins and somewhere in Wyoming that captured it was 144 miles an hour.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: So like you're talking category for hurricane level.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, haven't heard of any fatalities, but it's, it's not speaking enough.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Paraguay's coming in here, 2193.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you, Perry says good morning, guys.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Always good to hear you come in, say hello.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Click the thumbs up, all that good stuff.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I think the beginning of the season team may have over.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: looked a lesser team, but teams are trying to work through their weaknesses.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure, David.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: We got Gizmoda, Gizmoda St. Coming in here says, hit the like button.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you, Gizmoda.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Coming in here and happy holidays to you and yours.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: And let's get into it, Eric.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think the first thing we want to kind of talk about here is the Broncos injury front coming out of this game.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: The question that's mostly on my mind is Brandon Jones.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, obviously he's not going to be available for this game.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's been put on IR.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is it official that he's going to Broncos are going to be punished for getting the by week?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'll put it that way because I'm irritated about it.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Not that he'd be ready anyway, but punished for having the by week where if they didn't, he'd be ready potentially a week sooner.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Is it still going to be the carryover?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it's four games even jumping into the playoffs.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's, I didn't like the role when the change when they made it and set up four weeks to make it four games, so the by a week's no longer count for, you know, being able to call it, get called off of injured reserve.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: So it does extend his, you know, absence away for another week, but from what I understand, even if they, it was four weeks and not four games, the time from we probably still be about the same for him.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because it seems to be about a five or six week injury and that kind of aligns with putting one injury reserve even if they do get that first run by in the playoffs and you know go from there.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: I would say so far it's been good news with Justin Strenaud who hasn't yet been put on and reserve from from what it sounds like it doesn't sound like that there even considering it.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, so thanks can say and it's been.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: relatively good news depending on how you look at it for been powers being back this week as they waived Calvin Throck Morton.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, clear enough, they needed to clear up a space on the roster for Ben powers to be activated.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: And now they have a spot and it makes sense to, you know, part ways with somebody that's at that position.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: They want to bring Throck Morton back on the practice squad where they have two available spots open.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see about the other one because Karina Reed had his practice window open as well as they're looking at getting him back out there on the field, especially with Justin Strenaud, you know, dealing with an ankle injury.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and based on the injury report, it doesn't seem like Strenot is going to be available this week.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's not surprising at all, but when I went He went down, I thought that was the season Ender broken ankle kind of thing.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: And he still might not be back the rest of the regular season, I guess that's possible, but I think if he was going to be out potentially four weeks, he probably would have gone on the IR.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: We do need read to get back out there and get the other moves.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: The brock is a maybe kind of ran through a bunch of them.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: They waved Calvin Throckmore and were keeping eye on that.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: But in tandem with that, they did sign another interior offensive lineman onto the practice squad as well.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody they brought in for a 30 visit.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: I believe in the run up to the draft in Nash Jones.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously recently as well, the claimed Cody Shrader off of the waivers from Houston and then released since here McCormick.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest news, I think Eric on all that, you know, Brandon Jones is probably the most impactful given what the outcome is because he's going to miss maybe until the AFC championship game assuming then we can get that far.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: Argy Harvey might be good to go after the rib injury and with all the moves at the running back position considering, I mean, I don't want to completely, you know, disparage guys because they are NFL players, and I'm sitting here on my butt under a blanket.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: Talking football, but
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: not very good options for the Broncos and I mean, don't give me wrong Arger Harvey's got some issues as well, but he is the best in the in the room and they need him and it does sound like he is going to be playing this week.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it just sounds like he from I can't remember who it was somebody was kind of wrote about it in the article and just kind of made it sound like that the inventory was more so like getting the wind knocked out of him type of thing where he was just a little bit sore from the hit.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: So that's good news because as you said, McLaughlin and Bade.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it sure would be nice if Denver would look upgrading over both of them because neither one of them are, you know, they're the guys that you like to keep around on the practice squad as insurance for entries.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Not guys you want on the 52 men roster.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's a little bit different.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, definitely not starting not playing key roles inside your offense like they have been.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so hopefully Denver looks up great in that and one thing going back to you with Brendan Jones real quick with Denver having clinched a playout spot and, you know, injured reserve activations and I think Denver gets too extras in the playoffs, so I'll play off teams get too extra for them.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: So they get the eight for the regular season and then two more.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: They've only used four of them so far.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: So they still have four to use.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're likely, you know, Ben Powers, Carinaerie, that's probably two of them.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: So they still have options for it.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, Brandon Jones and JK Dobbins, those very likely could be the two for the playoffs.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then they'll carry his over.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: So if they don't use all four of the remaining ones before the end of the season, they carry over to the playoffs as well.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's great news.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to hear about IG Harvey.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: The bad news is that it looks like a pretty,
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: hit a full running back one running back to draft class coming up, but there are some going to be some options in free agency and given where this Broncos team is at and where Sean Peyton and how he values the running back position, I imagine the make a relative splash at the spot.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got Rico Dattle who's out there greened.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: the way they play him makes me very concerned about his past protection, but he's still as a role, a valuable player.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: You have Guy who's coming in this week that we might want to talk about here in Travis E.T.N.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: and then two of my favorites, somebody we saw last night, who's his boomer bus, but man, I just cannot put the explosiveness Kenneth Walker is a free agent.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was one of PFF's top five free agents, so I don't know what his market could be.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: And you got Tyler out of your ear, he's a little bit more of a battering ram, has a lot, doesn't have a lot of...
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: tread off his tires because he's been behind B. John for three years out there in Atlanta, but I think Walker or Algier are my favorite too, and who knows?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Could see like last season where a lot of these guys are gobbled up before even hitting the market, but I don't know if given them what they're running back classes and have a chance to go to some good teams.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: If I was some of those guys, I'd be interested in
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: hitting the market and seeing what I can get because contract 2 is typically it.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: If you're lucky enough to be running back and get contract 2, pretty much over after that for those guys.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: So do you have any thoughts on that?
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think the Broncos will be active in free agency.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be looking for another water receiver, tie the end, running back.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be really focused on adding, you know, to their offensive weapons, which
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: have been questionable throughout the season.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're so looking for that real legit number, why do we see for too?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: They're looking for that inline tie-to-end, and they're looking for another runback.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: I do expect them to also keep in communications with JK Dobbins about bringing him back and extending him.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think that precludes them from still going outside of Denver and picking up a for agent elsewhere.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: And just again, rebuilding this running back room that needs it.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: with, you know, with how it's looked this season.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I think they're going to be very active in for agency trying to add to their offense and adding more playmakers and weapons for Bonesix to try to build more consistency in the early part of the season for this team.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Dylan, he was fine.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: He was, he was spamming the chat a little bit, but that's, that's okay.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's too bad.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do Vol TV con.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: You're a little quicker on the trigger.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: You guys be on your best behavior.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: I tend to be a little bit more lenient, but that's okay.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: We got Perry West coming in here.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: $16 for week 16.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: He says, let's go Broncos.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: One of three teams in the NFL that I've clinched a playoff spot after the C-Hox.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: unbelievable when last night Eric I know that you don't typically watch football unless you have to sometimes especially the holiday season you love it but it's work but man that was that was probably the best game of the entire year so far in my opinion did you see the two point play though the one that everybody's kind of going nuts about yeah the one that the rest blew yeah
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, the blue it dead, they shouldn't have blown it dead.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I don't know, Wade Phillips was on there.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you saw on Twitter, Wade Phillips was defending the call saying, like, co defensive coaches and players, you have to pick the ball up period.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't do that in that situation, you weren't coach well enough.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: So he said, don't put yourself in that situation and said, just be smarter.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's not wrong.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's in situations like that.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: You still protect yourself and still protect it and then call us anything like that.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: You still pick up the ball.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's why I can't remember who it was.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I saw somebody today say that the two things can be true.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of the call and then whoever it was was smart for grabbing the ball and securing it.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Charbon A.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Charbon A. I can't remember who.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: in defensive coaches, as Wade Phillips said, they should be trying in their defenses to do that.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, the game should not come down to that.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know, third to that play, the ram's defense, you know, they had a big lead in the ram's defense.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: They kind of blew it.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: I gave it a special team's touchdown.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: They punted, they didn't punt like the first.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Six drives and pundit four times in a row afterwards.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the kicker missed a fuel goal.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I, it doesn't ever come down to one single play.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: But man, that was a battle of heavy weights.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pulling for Seattle over the Rams.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have any love for LA person.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: I know that there's some bad blood because of 2013 and also the Russell Wilson stuff with Seattle, but I just love my Pacific Northwest brother and out there.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: So, and also I didn't like uniforms last night, but I like the sea ox uniforms a lot of times.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Good game.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of fun.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: I would say that money or that game was a cash money if you would.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's that ages me or that makes me hip, but we do like talking cash in here as well.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, speaking of cash, the holidays are all about finding the perfect gift, but this summer year not every deal is actually what it seems.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Scammers are getting more creative to trick people into sharing their payment info through methods like fake shopping sites and giveaways that are too good to be true.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily cash apps 24-7 fraud monitoring helps detect an alert due for unusual card activity should someone gain access to your card.

- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Dylan, for bringing up the beautiful cash app logo there.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: We got Michael Rankio with the Jags news here.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: I thought this was kind of a steel Eric on the, what the market was.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: Jacoby Myers signs a three year contract with the Jags.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it was three or 60 million.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was an even 20 million flat.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the guarantees were.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they were high, but considering what the white receiver market is.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: Especially for a white receiver too that's playing like he is.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think he probably left.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: 15 million on the table, because I thought to begin 25 million, especially considering, you know, again, the wide receipt, the free agency market, given how teams are manipulating the cap these days, and how the cap is inflating very quickly.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: The free agency is pretty ass.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to, I don't know if we'll get a demonetized, but like, it's, you see all these names.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, you pick the top 20 on there.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: 17 of them are going to be resigned.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's just kind of this it's in pre-adency is not as glamorous as it used to be.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's three years, 60 million, 40 million guaranteed.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: All even 20s, which is really nice for doing, you know, cat math and whatnot.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: And what's funny is I saw a Raiders reporter kind of go off about it because apparently this is exactly the type of deal that he was asking for the Raiders and the Raiders then thank you.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's even close
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: That they didn't think that he was worth more than like 12 million per year or something like that 13 low teens anyways and it's just funny just kind of speaks to the dysfunction of the Raiders from top the bottom.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of stuff going on with you know Tom Brady being a minority owner, but wanting all the say.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: But this was at the point, but this is a good deal for the Jaguars where Jacob Myers really has looked like the missing piece ever since he's joined their five and one and their offences has been humming, granted they haven't faced the toughest of defenses, but he still provides him with that key middle of the field piece that they were missing.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's really helped,
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Brian Thomas Jr. rebounded with his play and add just adds to their weapons along with Brenton's strange and you know, basult in the way he's come along with the for them.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's hurt.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to be playing in this game thankfully because he is a tough one to deal with, especially when they go with their two back sets.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: But Jacobi Myers, he's been a great piece for the Jaguars.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I always felt that he was a
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: very underrated receiver and not that he was like a top tier guy but he's always been well not always but for the most part he's been a good reliable receiver consistently throughout his career and the jacks really highly invested in the wide receiver group uh kind of maybe it's that Liam Cohen influence and what we've seen with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uh of late as well with how much they've invested in that group
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: uh... but you had obviously traded up for Travis hunter white receiver corner back you had prayed uh... first rampic by and Thomas junior who's regressed this season uh... but he's playing better as of late because mail as well i guess we just call it as it is like he's a little bit
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Soft as far as the over middle of the field like dagger routes stuff where like he has to you know catch a ball and traffic not great the vertical stuff though I mean given his size and speed and ball tracking I mean it's good so now they have to go be myers to do.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: some of the dirty work.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think is probably the best way to put as far as we're receiving, not necessarily a blocker.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: He'll get his nose in there, but you know, it's not puking a cooler Drake London blocking his receiver, but no, it's it's really opened up the passing offense and the efficiency of the passing offense.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think over the last since week 11, Broncos obviously, that's kind of a point of demarcation for this Broncos offense as well, since that chief
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: multiple pages, I've turned a few chapters, but this jack's offense, I think is top three in past EPA and past success rate, and a granted, they had one of the most efficient passing games of any team this season, against the jets last week, but still, they've been good there, they fallen off though air, I don't know if you've seen the stats, they've really fallen off in their run-game efficiency over that period, like bottom three in both EPA, per Russian success rate,
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: They've been using ETN and 2TN in the past game as like an extension of the run game some, but if I was them and I think that again, we're not overlooking the Jags and I've seen some viral clips going around people been, you know, overlooking the Jags, you know, just the Jags, but Liam Cohen's got a playing good football.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: I do think though.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not as worried about this matchup as I was the Packers game.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Granted Trevor is beating up, man coverage.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: But if they can't run the football and they're purely reliant on Trevor Lawrence's arm to drop back when he's not been a volume passer.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think that's how we wins the best.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about third and long obvious pass downs.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Again, say, not awesome offensive line for the Jags on paper and this Broncos pass rush could be a long day for Trevor Lawrence.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm feeling I feel good about that matchup, honestly.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm feeling really good about this one in that matchup because the offensive line is not good, not that they're terrible or anything, they're not like, you know, Raiders level bad, which there's, I don't think there's any team that's that bad, but they're, they're not a good unit and, you know, you mentioned how Trevor Lawrence is on against Ben coverage, but we just saw the Broncos run.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: zone coverage 74% of the time against Jordan love.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: So they've shown that they had a few busted coverages that they're here and they're against the packers.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: But hopefully that's something that they're working on cleaning up as they're going to start sounds like they're going to start running more zone consistently throughout the rest of the season and they're going to do the playoffs.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: But one thing with Trevor Lawrence, so he has a seventh highest percentage rate of throwing to his first read.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: So if Denver can do a good job of taking him out, that actually really hurts that passing offense because he's like, bottom free and all the, you know, the completion percentage, the EPA when going off of that first read.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's been really bad with it.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so if Denver can do a good job of taking away that first read and, you know, make him go through his progressions and he, with that disruption they can create up front, I think it could be a really long day for for Trevor Lawrence.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is one where I don't want to say it's like I'm as confident that Denver will win, but I think Denver will win.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a good one and if you are feeling confident about that game, you know, where the Broncos are going to do passing yards, maybe this is another good bonus games, and you feel like, you know, so confident you want to put a little bit of cash from cash app on it.

- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully hopefully we got K coming in here over on Facebook.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Let's run it back.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see you, okay.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you coming in.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you're having a great Friday and a happy holiday season as well.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Denver, Luke having flashbacks of PJ getting cooked by the bills and the playoffs.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos have a fun guy now and they have a little bit better of a
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: offense on the other side, so hopefully I can play some ball control.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: And also P. J. Aquas playing pretty hurt last season at the end.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: He came in and played good foot.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just call it as it is.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Good football against the Packers and a small sample side still.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: But he was flying around.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready for his opportunity.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a chance for him to make some life-changing money for him as well.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope he steps up to the plate here.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: gets a good contract wherever he follows, banistrosive, this offseason.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: But that was a bad game against the playoffs.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's a reason that they, you know, added Hafanga as well.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think PJ and Hafanga are a little bit closer in their play styles or usage than PJ and Brandon Jones.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you make do and we'll see how the rest of the guys around them compensate.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see if we see a little bit more one safety for cornerback looks as well.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen them play with that a little bit in preseason.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know, it's going to be interesting to see the usage, but I'm happy to have PJ and there is another brand of Jones, of course, but as far as your third safety, it's fine now.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: We did obviously, you know, huffed and hot a little bit about the contract this offseason, but happy to have him right now.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's for sure.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and, you know, as you said, he played well against the Packers, and there's a lot of issues with the way they were using PJ lock last year from what I understand is that they felt that the way he was used a lot best utilized was too similar to Brendan Jones and so they weren't able to do that, and you know, with
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: when they had to ask him to do one thing.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: He really struggled with it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: And when they're using bread and Jones to what his best abilities is then when they flipped it over, they jerogged it a little bit better.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: But bread and Jones had a little bit more to his game.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: I guess would be the best way to put it to handle that.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: So they just had issues with using it with using them.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's why they went and got talent or who found a who can be that different piece in that room.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm curious to see what he's going to do.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, there's concerns going back to last year with some of the play against the bills, some of the play, and during the regular season, but he's also made a lot of impact plays during the course of his time starting last year, and as you said, it's a good chance for him to earn some money and rooting for him ever since, you know, I wrote about him years ago, not making the 53-man roster, and as soon as he did,
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: call him me out for it.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll show nothing about the best and wherever he ends up, wherever advanced Joseph ends up, but this is a great opportunity for him and just hopefully he's able to go and grab hold of it and make the most of it.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: And on paper, this is the toughest matchup for him and probably this team going forward now granted.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're all tough to some extent, but the jags are the most complete team the Broncos have left on their schedule.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: The chargers, I mean,
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: Then I feel kind of scared to say that about the chargers because we're Owen three versus Jim Harba, but their offensive line is just so poor and I think if Denver has to have it in a at home situation.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't see them losing it even though Herbert's you know.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: top seven quarterback, but I just think they're offensive line is too weak.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see, we got David Schlosser, Jr. coming in here says good morning, Jensen, Broncos Country, everyone leave a like, appreciate that.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: We got Keith coming in, good morning, Broncos Country at the energy.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see ya.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: Juan talking about running backs in the draft.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're right, in theory, Juan.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: The issue is that there's got to be the supply as well.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a, this is the downclass for running back in.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's not totally
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Unexpected because it was so deep last season with a guy's had a lot of experience.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: So what happens when a crop like that comes out You kind of leave a vacancy and a hole for the upcoming class, but the 2025 running back class is looks as bad as I can ever remember Eric, I mean, it's It'll be a day three guys for sure, but then you're talking about like the same Probably the same tier of biday and McLaughlin so guys we'll see we're following it, but it is ideally you do draft running backs, but
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you have one guy that's a clear top 75 pick in this class.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: Then you have like two, three guys that are might crack that, but are most likely, you know, 80 do 125.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have a good number of guys who are after that.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: just not a great opportunity for the running backs in the Sharif class.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: And on that, you know, as I build up my scouting list and everything like that, normally I have, you know, 60 plus running backs.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I had to keep guys that I normally wouldn't keep to keep in it to scout this year just to get to 40 running backs.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: So even the depth isn't it's not as deep as we've seen.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: And it all stems from the fact that they're just after love, they just lack at the top.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you like it when there's a bunch of day two guys, and that just does not appear to be the case this year.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: We got Todd coming in here.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, Brock has for breakfast.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: We got Vulcan coming in Vulcan.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: Also, become an member, appreciate you.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: He says the more you talk, the more I feel like we take over this game.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think so as well, and Sean Payton, I'm so Sean Payton, Builder, but in his press conference yesterday,
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: Wednesday, he was talking a bit and he said the big thing with this Jaguar steam is the turnovers that they have there.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: One of the better ball skill defenses in football.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: They also push the ball out on a good bit.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: Devin Lloyd is five interceptions.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: You probably all remember the week five picks six against the chiefs that was like 99 yards or something.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: What a wild game that was.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, the jags really do a good job of taking the ball away.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now we know that that can be a bit more volatile and that leaves you a bit more.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're could be on either end of the spectrum week to week with that, but big point of emphasis for this Broncos team this week has been protecting the football and he even used it example of, you know, maybe there won't be as much jump balls designed in the game plan because those jags defensive backs pretty good at coming down with the football.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: The key to most games, obviously, number one, score more points than you're opponent.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: But after that, it's turnovers.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: And that is a huge one for the jacks of season.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: They have slowed down a bit in terms of their turnovers.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think it was like three like the first six weeks.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: They were plus eight over anybody else or something insane.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: We all know that that's not a world you can live in long-term.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: But protect the football.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is a big one for the Broncos.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I really hope that we can see some of the
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: week, what two weeks ago, again, serators where they were really protecting the ball and controlling it, not putting it in a harm's way too much with some calculated drawn up wide open shop plays.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: We're somebody's, you know, just like nobody in the area code explosive past plays.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, this Jack's defense is because of Trevor Lawrence, you know, finally kind of started to get it together and some of the highlights we've seen, especially him throwing what
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: left and, you know, using that core strength to rips some throws that are, I mean, as good as anybody in the league.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: People are sleeping a bit on the Jags defense, but it's a top, it's a top 10 unit.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Are they great?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Are they elite?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: But they got pieces.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: They got some blue chippers on there, some high draft picks, and they're playing good ball right now, and they take the ball away.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're very opportunistic.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: As you said, Evan Lloyd, he has five interceptions.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: They have three defensive backs with at least two of them.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: Andrew Weingaard, Gordon Lewis, and I can't remember the other one off top.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: I had no.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: But they trained it for new some, right?
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he might be the one who has at least a two-interception fight.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember for sure, but they're with that.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're also very boomer bust.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: They give up a lot of big explosive plays.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: They also get called for a lot of penalties.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: Not looking forward to that in this game with the two-most penalized teams with the Reefing crew that is the second most penalizing Reefing crew in the NFL this year.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: probably going to be slow on for that, but there are still game as a result, but the options are going to be there for Denver.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: They just have to be smart with it, and this is going to upset some people, but against the packers, as great as Bonix played, he was recruited with four turnover worthy plays, where that should have been in receptions, at least two of them, that fortunately the packers dropped, and
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: You can't get away with, you're not going to get away with those against the Jaguar as most likely because of the hands, they do have a lot that spend a lot of time on their defensive on the jugs machine, especially with their linebackers and defensive backs on to make sure they know how to catch.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not going to get away with those kinds of plays, but so you needed boat next clean and good thing you mentioned the Raiders game where you didn't have any in that one, and he was playing clean, he was playing efficient, he wasn't, you know, putting the ball in harms way.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what they, that's what they need out of him.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they need out of everybody.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: They need RJ Harvey to protect the ball a little bit better when running.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: He was running, running loose with the all season long caught with that with the fumblewoods from what I get, which apparently the pat was something that the packers defense focused on entering the game was getting making sure they tacked the ball when RJ Harvey had it because of how Lucy carried it.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: So then teams are seeing the weak spots with where to generate takeaways with this offense and it's on Denver to counter them by doing the work to make sure that they can't get those to get those takeaways.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: There's a kind of an advanced statistic or a formula from formulaic statistic that Brian Billock is credited with Eric called toxicity index.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure if you're aware of his big, you know, 10, 15 years ago.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: But he was kind of someone on the cutting edge of what like really is important to a lot of football games, and there's a lot of key statistics, but toxicity, specifically deals with the differential in turnovers and explosive plays.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: And as we've seen here the last, you know, three years and more and more we've learned about football and like what really really matters.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: Those might be the two most important plays and after points of our statistics after points to
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: point to who wins the full ball game.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now you can obviously win games with the other way, but like you see, I don't know if you see, did we really win that bad or did we lose that bad graphic that you see on Twitter every week?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it goes like with success rate.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: And that's obviously, you know, you're down to down efficiency matters a lot.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: But when you see the ones flipped, why did that happen?
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's because not every play has made the same.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like success rate is a binary, yes or no.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: So an incompletion for your defense weighs the same as a pick six.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: Those explosive game turning plays really, really big.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: So you mentioned that the explosives as well, with Jack giving him up, Broncos hopefully, finding some, but finding that balance of hunting explosive plays while also protecting the football.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: What I do want to ask you, Eric here, but first I want to say a little to some more folks, Jake, coming in here, great to see you, Jake.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you coming in.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you're doing well.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: Happy holidays.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: Denver Luke also with the super chat says, Denver has got 10 picks this year.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's something Sean Payton talked about in the bioweek and it's the thing that's keeping this defense from being top of the line this season, as they do not take the ball away.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, keep saying, hopefully that toss it will be turned on, but so far have not seen it.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe this is the week, we'll see.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: Where was I going with this air?
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: The defense.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously since if you look at the advanced statistics since week 11, same point you see when the Broncos often starts to play a bit of the defense has regress some.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: That second half against the packers though, hold buddy.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: They were, they were looking pretty dominant.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: Patrick's or Tan looked like, it finally clicked again for him.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, he obviously good, but not like defense supplier that your Patrick's or Tan that we had seen this season for a lot, but that second half of the packers game, he was awesome.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: the defense of line to started winning like crazy, as well.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: Is that something we can expect again this week?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: And what areas specifically from this jagged team?
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do you worry they could prod this Broncos defense?
- 37:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, one thing with this broncus defense all season long they've actually been better in the second half than the first half entering the packers game they were 12th in EPA per play in the first half and third or fourth in the second half they after the packers game they're now third in the second half of it and I think they're still 12th in the first so they've all all season long they've kind of had that
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know, those issues in the first half and then bounce and the adjustments are made by vanschos.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's a hat tip to him for making those adjustments in the second half and they did that.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: And to honestly, the biggest concern with this deed with against the Jaguar's offense is Riley Moss.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: since he's been putting a focus on not grabbing as much and he hasn't been he's been losing his guy a little bit more in coverage the packers took advantage of that they got a couple big plays as a result of him getting losing his guy and he's likely going to be matched up against Brian Thomas Jr. a good amount in this one.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And if the Broncos and, you know, with Brandon Jones out, they're going to have to give who Fungo or PJ Lock and shade them over to that side, just to protect over the top with how explosive Brian Thomas shouldn't be.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: Just the communication there, especially if it's lock and moss, that's an opening for an explosive play, and a game-changing potential play, and then you add in moss's tendency to grab, and it stems from poor technique and poor eyes and they're lack of trust in this technique.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's a concern.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully the confidence kicks in and maybe the ball starts finding him after that pick last week.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: That would be good.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he had so many interceptions at Iowa.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I granted they kind of play a cover for all lies in the quarterback umbrella coverage where he can play a little bit more like they all function almost like safeties to some extent.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe and that's where Moss ends up eventually as well who knows.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: But not this year and yeah, we need him to step up.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it is unfortunate, you know, all the cornerbacks that had played in the lead being like, listen, Moss is good, but like he's playing against certain and feels like every 50
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's unfortunate.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it'll be fixed this season, and he's just got to be, he's just got to be better.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, maybe the day you got to be, you just got to be better if that's how they're calling it, and then figure it out, kid, I mean, it's, and I like the fire as well, still at the same time, you know, the us against the world from him.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: They'll go through with the film and be like, if they're calling this, you gotta be better.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: Todd says, do you guys think the Broncos break the bare sack record?
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do not.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: We will see what happens.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: What are they off like 15 right now or something or how far away are they?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: They have 58 and the record 72.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's, they were on a obviously great pace really, but they had a very unsustainable pressure to sack rate.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like they were like,
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: doubling up the second highest team in terms of their rate of how many pressures are actually becoming sex.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I don't think it's going to happen, but it's still a great defense.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think they play a really awesome offensive line the rest of the season.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: So they got a chance to get some sex, but as many as they need, I just don't think, I don't think that's possible for them.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: We're more on mile here at breaking the single season record than anything.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, can they average five tax in the last three games?
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: But if, you know, if there's any set of teams that you could look at as opening that door for them, it's the Jaguars, the Chiefs and the Chargers, because all three of them have offensive line issues for very different reasons.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, their starters just aren't the best.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: Walker Little is a solid tackle, but he really struggles with the types of passwashers that Nick Benito is then Anton Harrison on the other side.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: with Jonathan Cooper, who Harrison is still a technical mess, then you have whoever is starting in the comments.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: And Lenin's been playing for them as of late and playing decent football from the badgers.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you remember.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, with the chiefs, you know, and on Christmas day with Josh Simmons out and Juan New Morris out now, I don't know who they're starting at tackle and the chargers with all their medical issues on their offensive line, they've started 22 different or they've had 22 different combinations on their offensive line this season, which is absolutely unheard of.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: The guy who actually did that said that the most that we've had in a season was 18, and that was the chargers like two years ago or something like that.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: or the saints, there's a sense of the charges.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a chance for the Broncos to break the bear sack record.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure they'd get there though.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: And we're gonna start wrapping up here pretty soon, guys.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: But do I see you guys are already talking draft?
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: I know what you're here for.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: I do wanna get your final score prediction, Eric from this one.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: I did pick the Broncos to win this one.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do think, you know, given,
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: the emotional catharsis out of that packers when the how good the jags are right now and just you know the Broncos have the realities they've been playing a lot of games and winning by the skin of their teeth where you know one flookie play goes the other way and they lose as is any win streak when it's as long as the Broncos right that's just football the NFL's hard but I do pick the Broncos to win this one I wouldn't be shocked at all if they lost you know again the turnover battle on this one nix has been playing at such a high level
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: The four games though is still a small sample size that could be a regression.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean to be out on next or anything, but, you know, progression, there are steps, but it also there's valleys and peaks.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: So it could be a game where next does fall a bit, but I do, I did pick the Broncos to win this one.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think I said 24 to 16 is what I sent in Chad and the main reason being the jags are running the football horrifically right now.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: And if I think the Broncos can probably keep
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: the Jags in a lot of third and longs, obviously past looks, and that's a recipe for disaster.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: At home for the Broncos with their past rush, the big key, and we haven't talked about it at all, Trevor Lawrence's legs.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: He has been quite the athlete.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's not the most twitched up, you know, quick area agility athlete, but he's a long strider, and he can cover ground
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's Trevor Lawrence can turn the play on his head.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be hesitant doing that, sir, with a Fonga and Green Law running around.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: And who was it that was a Chris Abrams drain, who tattooed.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: C.J.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: Scrowd, clean hit, but you can put yourself out there.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but yeah, Trevor Lawrence, I'll be curious to see if Vance Joseph does changes anything up as far as contain for Trevor Lawrence because he's been really running well, and I think he's one of the most efficient Russia's scramblers in all the football this season.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, big issue with the Broncos over the last few weeks with, you know, quarter back season, it legs has been Jonathan Cooper completely, say what it is.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's been playing selfish football with his lack of discipline with his past wrestling.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Marcus Mario to had three or four of those big runs because, you know, Cooper just lacked the discipline, the lane discipline, even, you know, Smith had a couple of them, Jordan love had some.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: They need to play disciplined up front with their past rush lanes and that can translate into a, you know, contain like look without actually having to play contain and that's what the broncus are doing earlier on in this season.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: And then over the last few weeks, I don't know if fans show us a decided to change things up a little bit.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it was, you know, a response to patch to Tanz injury and having to change things up on the back end.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but something has changed with that, where the discipline upfront has been there with the rush lanes, you gotta get that, you gotta get that against Trevor Lawrence and stay disciplined to avoid him using his legs as a weapon and this and make the Jaguars offense even more limited because they're not running the ball well and the Broncos rushing defense has been pretty consistently good all season long outside of the Colts game.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so Denver, if Denver can do that, I think that this defense can have a complete game of, you know, the almost the level of play that they had against the Packers, obviously they're going to give up a few more plays.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I have this one being another close one, another one score game that the Broncos eat out 27 20.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I'll be curious to see if you may be see some mirror brush I think is how it's again some of the coach speaker but where you have two linebackers out there in kind of a but nickel sometimes I mean for Denver can be based as well and depending on what the
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Running back does, let's say the running back runs the left, the linebacker was across from him, mirrors the running back and then the other linebacker rushes the quarterback.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: That could be a spy, it could be a slow rush.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be curious if we see some mugg looks from this team.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: We saw brought it.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: What was that?
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll see mugg looks.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: That is, but how are we doing better?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but they run at the high, they run double, double a mugg.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's a staple of this defense.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's the highest in the NFL.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, from that, I'm curious to see if it'll be aggressive from those linebackers or if it'll be more read with Trevor Lawrence, and then you have the green dog rush as well as an option from them.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: So and we'll go ahead.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, we'll see.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to add with the double AMA look because that was a big thing for me last week was because they go into that look a lot and then they just brought the linebackers and teams had kind of Begirded out and so they they weren't, you know, really
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: threatening with that look like they were earlier on in the season.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: And they just need to throw a wrinkle in and they did.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: They did a stunt off of it, a pirate stunt with Alex Singleton looping around and got to Jordan Love.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: And that was one play, but it's enough.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: All you got to do is do something once and it can change the way that teams are facing you and preparing for you.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: So now that they have that in there,
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, out there that is something that the Jaguars are going to have to consider was that double a mug, a mug look and drop in green lawn, then do an apparent stunt with singleton and get in home with it.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, when you talk about when you're talking about this with Trevor Lawrence and the different things they can do, I wouldn't be surprised if we see that once or twice in this game.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's going to be a good game.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really bummed that the
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: coverage of the game is really poor this week.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what's going on with that.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: I saw the coverage map like not a lot of people nationally are going to get a watch this game.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that's surprising.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of people are going to get.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: Cowboys chargers as the main game, which I know it's the Cowboys, but like you're talking about a two really good teams in the AFC.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this according to football outsiders, excuse me, FTN, they're not football outsiders anymore, but this is the most important game as far as the number one seed in the AFC that will see the rest of the season.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: Jags have an 8% chance on granites because they play the Broncos.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: Here, but this is, this is probably for the, probably for the one seed when you consider all things.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: So, long to about that, hopefully you guys have your very legal methods to find in the game if you are out of coverage.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: Final thing I wanted to get into Eric talked a little bit of the chats in the draft, I know it's already 730.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: We do gotta go here pretty soon.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: You talked about the Broncos attacks in free agency, and then you also talked about the double A mug look from the Broncos.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Linebackers got to be up there too for a off-season edition, considering you start in green law, a slash read, and the Sanders next season.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious what your thoughts are there.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: I've been banging the drum just because I watched him for the Falcons and I think he would be with how much they'd like to blitz their linebackers and then he'd be unbelievable for them and that's Kate Nellis out of Atlanta.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, joining his brother, Stadplayed for the Broncos.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think he fits the scheme perfectly whether it be vanstrosive or Leonard with how much they are they rush the linebacker?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: I said his brother plays here, I think, and also he's from Salt Lake City.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is stomping ground adjacent for him.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I would love to get Kate Nillus in here.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: If we're talking linebacker, then you mentioned why tight end in line and running back.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think those are the three big spots for the Broncos right now that are the obvious free agent routes.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a linebacker just fully depends on what happens with just an astronaut or Alex England.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: I know the bruncus of interest in bringing one of the two back and the other one walking it's just a matter of who it is.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, I kind of lean that it's going to be Alex England as the one that they bring back just because of how, you know,
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: Much he's loved in the locker room and that's not that they've been really prioritizing is you know the the locker room guys the leaders and he's just kind of that not that doesn't She knows not he's one of the leaders on special teams and has been since you know basically since he's gotten here in Denver So it's going to be interesting, but if you know
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: Both in Chase money, which very well could with how the linebacker market has exploded, I wouldn't be surprised if Kate Nellis is one of the guys at the Broncos are looking at.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they'll look at mine back early in the draft.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'll be one maybe round three round four at the moment.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's relatively early.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for linebacker, that's what you're talking about.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of times, I will see, I think, I mean, if Sunny Styles falls to you, which he won't.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, but it's always dependent on the talent that's available.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I had Sunny Styles, I think, probably goes top 10 in this class, personally.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's rare enough, and then he Reese is going to be more edge.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have CJ Allen and Anthony Hill, I don't think I'd, I'm so so that on them in the first round of compared to your value positions at wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line, but
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: We'll follow it, it's a really good linebacker class.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: Looks like it's a really good tight end class.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: You're not really talking round one for the most part for those positions, but day two, we'll see.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be fun.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: I see Luke correct in your earlier 10 ticks.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that sounds really high for the Broncos.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they have 10 interceptions.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who's talking about draft picks?
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Luke.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: That makes way more sense.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, for correcting that, sorry, I misconstrued that, and yeah, for the Broncos just in general, I think, I mean, besides, I put it out to me earlier, it hasn't changed, linebacker tight end, in line tight end, thunder running back to pay a little bit more authority Harvey to detach him from the between the tackles game if you can, somewhat not that he can't do it, he's got the bill, just the vision and patience hasn't been there.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_01]: consistently yet.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: But somebody just takes some of the the beating between the tackles for him.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: And in the draft, then it comes down to just offensive weapon in general or offensive line or defensive line, just keep stacking those positions.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: I tend to be somebody who likes to keep the ball rolling on those especially with how this Broncos team is built.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what's gotten?
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: What's turned around this team these last few years?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously quarterbacks play in
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if there's a team in football that is better on the offensive and defensive lines of scrimmages combined than the Broncos in football.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: And that is a recipe that wins you a lot of football games no matter the level.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that like, oh, we already have a good offensive line.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: Good defensive line.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: the way that it becomes not good quick is if you don't invest in it.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: So those are the two areas outside of offensive weaponry.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would be bang in the drum for what's new.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: If you listen to me for a while obviously that's just who I am, but mine's a skirmish.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_01]: Keep investing.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and, you know, at some point, I would expect to corner drafted by the Broncos just because of how much that they are valued by George Peyton, but with this defensive line is one of those positions where I have the stance of you should draft one every single year.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, why do I see, I don't think, why do I see there's not there for me yet, but it's very darn close to it because of that reason, but yeah, I mean, you just keep stacking for them with how long it can take for Judy if it's a vitamin to develop and for, you know, the amount you rotate the guys there and how their cost is exploding, which is natural with the salary cap exploding like it has been.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: Just keep sacking guys there, keep developing, working on it because, you know, one miss on the interior difference of line with a draft, can really disrupt things if you don't invest enough in the position.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, we look at Denver specifically, they've had to do a lot of investing through free agency into the difference of line because it had so many issues hitting on draft picks.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you know, the arts at a DARPA, the more dots you have to throw, the better your chances to hit.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: And,
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: Keep dressing on the defensive line with those young darts, cost-controlled darts that you're looking at developing and turning into something.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, Eric, if you are a betting man, the Broncos keep their first round pick.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: What's the position?
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: Keep it where they're at or just keep a first round pick.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: Keep a first round pick.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think Denver is going to be very aggressive going trying to move up the board for an offensive weapon.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a position?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_00]: Off at the weapon.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's go back.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: There's only two first.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's only one tight end and one running back, I think, that are worth a first round pick.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: And both of them, I think, are options and there's two receivers.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: You think there's only two receivers that are first round picks?
- 55:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's two receivers for Denver.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: I have four right now, but we'll see how it plays out.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now, I'd just based on probability of what's in front of you and also the
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: in the risk for trading up.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think what receivers got to be number one.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: For me, I just, I'm always hesitant to moving up the board for running back or tight end because the range of acceptable outcomes is much smaller.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you trade up 10 spots for,
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say the heck 15 spots for love.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: If he's not a top three running back by year three, I don't think it was worth it.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: If you trade up for a king and city, if he's not top five in, you know, three years, probably not worth it.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like this, because there's, you look at the, it's like a top five, that's way too much.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Then you look at who the top five are and it's like, oh, it falls off a freaking cliff.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of,
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: average serviceable players at those positions, but I don't know, it just adds risk.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then you're also there's the opportunity cost as well, like finding a good wide receiver in free agency or further down the board, offensive tackle, past rush or like those guys aren't hitting the market and you're not typically finding them outside of round one.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: So you're burning that opportunity.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I'm always a little bit to
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying I'm against it by any means, but I will always be like, okay, well, let's consider this, what does it actually have to work out as to be worth the move up the ROI and how probable is that right, like, oh, look at Brock Bowers, I mean, I'll play the same game, the look at cow pits, right, like you never know if they're there's no sure things in the draft.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: So why receiver you're I'm a little bit more okay with.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, if I was a betting man, and I think you were the same way with me.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Broncos have their first run pick.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're adding a veteran weapon somewhere.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: We saw them aggressively try to do that this.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: We love our wide receivers.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: OK, Sean.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's, you're linked to every single one, but whatever.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think they, I don't think they had their first run pick when it finally comes time to be on the clock.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think they're going to be waterling their way into the second round a little bit.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think that, you know, the link was there.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: They almost got the deal done prior to the dry deadline.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to revisit that, especially with the directions that the dolphin seemed to be headed.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll have a chance to talk a little bit more about it as well.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, there's, I honestly think you call it almost every single big weapon and see like what's the price like a traffic riot or it's on a team and transition.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: What's going on there?
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: Falcons, I'm calling on both the Drake London and B. John Robinson, right?
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: So especially in this class, I think you've got a chance to add some players and go for it in this window.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_01]: If not, probably wide receiver, but again, offensive line defense of line is never a bad decision as well.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you stay in pat and take an offensive line or defensive line, that falls to you and fortify those strengths.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of fun.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad you could talk a little bit of team building
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't want to ask you one more thing.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you can just tell me I can't say because of your sources and everything.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_01]: But right now, I think there are five wide receivers who are pretty much consistently mocked in the first round.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, and you got obviously your top two in Jordan Tyson.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's missed like 40% of his eligible game.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: So he scares the hell out of me, but he's talented.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: Cardinal Tate, I mean, he's getting constantly mocked on the top five right now.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd be pretty shocked if he was available.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got Denzel Boston at a Washington and McIleman out of USC.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the two right now that I think
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: viable.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they make it to 28 through 32, but you never know.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then the one-off toss in there is also KC conception from Texas A&M.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: First team all pro all purpose weapon.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: Unbelievable what dynamic the ball on his hands Marvin Mims last year was contract.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: I would have tossed him Chris Bell to from Louisville, but the ACL Sasha Killers I can never remember which one is which why do they both have to start with A.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: But is who are the wide receivers that you would
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: highlight there out of those first round guys and I'm missing somebody.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, we know Sidney can love, but the wide receiver's interest me more.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: No, you hit the two guys that I think downver is looking at, I'm with you.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think one of them is going to fall for enough for Denver to be, you know, get up there and get them.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_00]: Conception.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's not the one I'm talking about.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_00]: Carnotate.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think that is one that is very much a dream for Denver.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_00]: Almost like an Ash and Jenty level dream for Denver.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_00]: They will call and you will hear the rumors about it.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's just probably not going to be able to get it done.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then the other one it really depends on where things go with Marvin Mims this offseason.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, well, should be a fun one.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, those guys, I watched them and like, that's a guy who typically goes pick 30 to 50 for some of those ones, but that's just this class in general.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, final one, Eric, we're over time.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: Seeing him mocked Denver, I haven't watched him enough and I know because the team he plays on, it's hard to evaluate, but it's a hard position to evaluate in general.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_01]: Max Clare round one, Ohio State Titan, is that stupid or is I need to see what the testing looks like.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: It would be test like a freak, then maybe we can get in, it doesn't block well enough for me necessarily, but I mean, you know, he could fill that Sam Laporter role in this offense and theory.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_00]: It depends on how he tests.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_00]: I firm for me right now where he's at right now.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's right in that 40, 50 range for me.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy that I just got to just over the last week.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: As I've been trying to get more into it, I'm with you with the way that he is best utilized.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of that samelaporter role, that big slot type, but that's kind of where it's at.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I actually have to run, sit kid in my wife has to leave for work.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: So God books.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sorry.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to talk draft stuff.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can run.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get the the read down here.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, one week.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you later tonight.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, peace.

- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: Tonight that'll be a great one out there in Norman and obviously got two lane at Oregon You get our excuse me jam you at Oregon you got two lane at Ole Miss and then my the one I'm most excited about is Miami versus Texas A&M, but it's really good I kind of look at the bracket and I'm like we probably could have done this with just eight teams and I think we probably would have been good enough for me I think those last four You know whatever but
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be fun, starts tonight, and yeah, we've got to love it.
