- 3:10Speaker 2: eviscerate you, and you would say thank you.
- 3:16Speaker 1: But who wouldn't Who wouldn't though I wouldn't mm hmm.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Not cultured non cultured anyway, if you look at a
- 3:31Speaker 1: scripture below you'll see a link. Can be not look
- 3:34Speaker 1: on you don't be a look on your face, that
- 3:36Speaker 1: face in your face. If you know where that's from,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you know what reference that is to your your real
- 3:41Speaker 1: one inscription ball, You'll see a link. They'll take it
- 3:44Speaker 1: to the other podcast of the Board Family podcasts. Blah
- 3:47Speaker 1: blah blah. You know ship. So I'm gonna burn us
- 3:59Speaker 1: it's thinking about it. I guess not.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Well, honey, let's go.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It's it's twenty twenty five. Just come on out, come
- 4:13Speaker 2: on out, all right.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Bitch, I've been out the fuck. Uh. Anyway, today I'm
- 4:25Speaker 1: gonna be talking about Jacob's searcher Street. I have it
- 4:29Speaker 1: right here, big delivered by his boyfriend. So let me
- 4:33Speaker 1: go ahead and just pull that out right quick.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Go on.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You don't have that, But what if I did? What
- 4:49Speaker 1: if Alex did give me that information?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Oh, then he and I would be having a very
- 4:55Speaker 2: strong like a very strongly worded.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Talk, very strong word text mm hmm.
- 5:02Speaker 2: And I also have to send my own file over
- 5:04Speaker 2: to his best friend. Oh shit, retaliation, uh huh damn no, literally,
- 5:14Speaker 2: she came over. His best friend, Taylor came over yesterday
- 5:18Speaker 2: and while he was cooking dinner. She and I were
- 5:21Speaker 2: just talking. We were just talking, you know, like you
- 5:23Speaker 2: and him. Boy, we'll just be talking, just just talking,
- 5:26Speaker 2: Matt smack behind my back, that's what we were doing.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And he kept looking at it. I don't like how
- 5:31Speaker 2: you too are whispering, Like like, we're not whispering, babe.
- 5:35Speaker 2: We're just talking. You just we're just talking, babe, We're
- 5:38Speaker 2: just talking. She's like, notice how he ate that whole
- 5:42Speaker 2: that whole bowl of mashed potatoes I brought. And when
- 5:45Speaker 2: he said he was gonna save something for tomorrow, I
- 5:47Speaker 2: was like, yeah, you might want to bring him some tomorrow,
- 5:49Speaker 2: Like bring him some more for tomorrow. And he looked
- 5:51Speaker 2: over He's like what Like he looked over at us,
- 5:53Speaker 2: a spoonful of mashed potatoes like halfway to his mouth.
- 5:57Speaker 2: He's like, what, like nothing, babe, you yeah? And I
- 6:01Speaker 2: look over at Taylor. Yeah, definitely bring more.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Oh oh no, he gets he gets he gets the return.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, of course we gotta do it to you.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I mean, look at you. Can we not bullyeve you?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, just kind of have to get I
- 6:21Speaker 2: had to get it back for that, And like he
- 6:23Speaker 2: doesn't sing where like if I forget something, he's just like, oh,
- 6:25Speaker 2: it's okay baby, a least you're pretty. And yesterday he
- 6:29Speaker 2: was having a brain fart moment too with Taylor and
- 6:32Speaker 2: he was trying to like tell her something he couldn't remember,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and it was like, it's okay, baby, at least you're pretty.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Damn he had he had to look up of betrayal,
- 6:39Speaker 2: just like he just look up such a betrayal, like
- 6:41Speaker 2: how dare you? And it was like, sorry, babe, but
- 6:46Speaker 2: I had that in my I had that loaded for
- 6:48Speaker 2: a while.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Damn gathered his as.
- 6:54Speaker 2: God, Damn gathered him up, brat him down.
- 6:58Speaker 1: You sure, God, he's getting old.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, twenty six is not old now thirty four on
- 7:10Speaker 2: the other hand.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But you're actready one, Shut the fuck up. You're you're
- 7:15Speaker 1: a prehistoric animal in gay years.
- 7:19Speaker 2: You're a fossil.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, but I'm a rarity though.
- 7:23Speaker 2: He Actually, they're kind of they're pretty common. They're like
- 7:27Speaker 2: one of those little one of those one fossils called
- 7:31Speaker 2: they're basically like they're supposed to be for like an
- 7:33Speaker 2: ancient form of squid. But there are those spiral things
- 7:36Speaker 2: you can find trapped in rocks.
- 7:40Speaker 1: How dare you? How dare you? I'm more classy than that.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Dare you?
- 7:48Speaker 2: You're classic, that's for sure.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You wait, you say all the ship you want, I'll
- 7:57Speaker 1: catch you. I'll catch you tomorrow. Yeah it, I'll got
- 8:01Speaker 1: you tomorrow. Hoe, I got you. Mm hmmm you wait,
- 8:05Speaker 1: you wait, you gotta come home sometime.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. Soday, we got more smart for you people.
- 8:13Speaker 1: No, we don't, not today, not today, No smut today.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'm still I'm still trying to figure out which smut
- 8:21Speaker 1: I want to do next. But not no smut today today?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Where or I'm going to talk about Marvel's Civil War two?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Civil War Part two? Oh my god.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah, So this is the one. Remember back around Halloween,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I made an episode or part of an episode dealing
- 8:52Speaker 1: with the Immortal Hulk. So this is what leads into
- 8:58Speaker 1: what led into the Mortal because this is the this
- 9:01Speaker 1: is the story the event that Bruce Banner gets shot
- 9:05Speaker 1: in the face and dies and then he comes back
- 9:08Speaker 1: as the Immortal whole. So this is the story where
- 9:12Speaker 1: he dies horrifically, not horrifically. He gets shot, he gets
- 9:15Speaker 1: a shot and arrow in the face and the eyeball.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's like dead dead Hawkeye kills his ass. So this
- 9:25Speaker 1: story came out in twenty twenty six, from between June
- 9:30Speaker 1: and December twenty twenty six. It is eight issues, well
- 9:33Speaker 1: technically nine if you count the Free com Book Day
- 9:36Speaker 1: issue prelude issue. Now they originally wrote this story, well
- 9:42Speaker 1: actually no, it's ten issues because you also got the
- 9:45Speaker 1: one shot Oath after it. Anyway, basically, they decide to
- 9:52Speaker 1: write the story to capitalize on the release of Marvel's
- 9:57Speaker 1: Captain America Civil War. That's the main reason why they
- 10:01Speaker 1: did this series, why they did this event. People For
- 10:04Speaker 1: the most part, people hate it. I don't. I kind
- 10:09Speaker 1: of have a weird soft spot for it personally, but
- 10:11Speaker 1: that's just me. But there are a lot of people
- 10:15Speaker 1: that fucking hate.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It this one. I remember it being kind of somewhat controversial.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Also really like solidified a lot of people's hate for
- 10:23Speaker 2: Captain Marvel.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it sure did it, Sure did.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I mean in this in this one, there was like
- 10:29Speaker 2: a lot of characters that have There was a lot
- 10:31Speaker 2: of characters in this that have not yet been introduced
- 10:33Speaker 2: into the MCU, Like there's like being like it's centered
- 10:39Speaker 2: around and inhuman who. While they did do a short
- 10:44Speaker 2: like a mini series for the Inhumans. It did not
- 10:46Speaker 2: actually take off. It's while technically it is canon to
- 10:51Speaker 2: the MCU, it's it's like kind of like an alternate
- 10:54Speaker 2: multiversal kind of canon.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I think eventually they're going to redo them humans and
- 10:58Speaker 1: actually do them properly for once, which I'm high key
- 11:02Speaker 1: excited for when they ever get around to doing that.
- 11:05Speaker 1: But that's not probably gonna happen anytime soon untill probably
- 11:08Speaker 1: after Secret Wars most likely probably.
- 11:11Speaker 2: But I get like an actual X Men film until after.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Super Oh yeah, I mean we'll get the X Men
- 11:19Speaker 1: in Doomsday.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Huh, give us theek excellent.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Also, I want Jean Elaine Gray. I need my queen
- 11:31Speaker 1: icon and legend on the screen, thank you, and actually
- 11:35Speaker 1: be good. I need a good I need a good
- 11:40Speaker 1: Phoenix story, like do the Phoenix saga correct, Lease, That's
- 11:46Speaker 1: what I want. But we'll see if Marvel can do
- 11:50Speaker 1: it the better. It's their own property because because Foxture
- 11:54Speaker 1: is out good and they tried twice m even on
- 11:59Speaker 1: this second one. The Dark X Men Dark Phoenix was
- 12:03Speaker 1: I liked it, but was not good as a Dark
- 12:05Speaker 1: Phoenix saga. If you take the Dark Phoenix saga out
- 12:07Speaker 1: of it and see it as its own thing. It's good,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but Dark Ark Phoenix.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Dark Phoenix would have been a lot better if they
- 12:16Speaker 2: hadn't like cut it and re edited it, because it
- 12:21Speaker 2: came out at the same time or around the same
- 12:23Speaker 2: time that Captain Marble came out. And the thing is
- 12:26Speaker 2: is that both had similar plots, so like you know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: cosmic superhero, and so they cut out a lot of
- 12:33Speaker 2: the Phoenix of Dark Phoenix's like space. There was supposed
- 12:36Speaker 2: to be like a whole space battle between the Dark
- 12:38Speaker 2: Phoenix and the Dabari and or the I forget what
- 12:43Speaker 2: they're called, the plant people, the shape shifting plant people.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the broccoli people. Yeah yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And it was basically going to be like an epic
- 12:52Speaker 2: kind of similar. It was very similar to what they
- 12:56Speaker 2: had going on in Captain Marble. So they were like, oh,
- 12:59Speaker 2: we're gonna like scale this back a bit, and I'm like,
- 13:02Speaker 2: why would you do that?
- 13:04Speaker 1: They grounded it and I'm like, no, babe, that's not
- 13:08Speaker 1: what That's not what you do with the Phoenix. You
- 13:11Speaker 1: don't ground it, Mamma, mama. This is this is the
- 13:14Speaker 1: embodiment of creation.
- 13:15Speaker 2: What do you mean, like, is life itself.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Literally, like what do you mean?
- 13:23Speaker 2: You know? So, yeah, they did a lot out of that,
- 13:29Speaker 2: and they took a lot out of that, and I
- 13:31Speaker 2: was so disappointed.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, well yeah, yeah yeah. Anyway, with the
- 13:42Speaker 1: Civil War, two of courses came out during the time
- 13:46Speaker 1: of the Captain America Civil War, which, by the way,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I liked that movie great fun, not really civil war,
- 13:53Speaker 1: but okay, I see why they named it that. But
- 13:56Speaker 1: at the same time, they could named it something else easily,
- 14:00Speaker 1: but I did it. Whose team were you on?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Captains Captain America and in Civil War? Like the yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 2: Captain America's because I'd rather I agreed more with Captain America,
- 14:19Speaker 2: because like, first of all, I would never work for
- 14:23Speaker 2: somebody like Ross, Yes, Senator Ross. I was like I
- 14:30Speaker 2: was going through like all these different names like Senator,
- 14:32Speaker 2: like Ulysses Claw, like all these other people that are
- 14:36Speaker 2: not like Senator Ross. I would not ever work for
- 14:39Speaker 2: somebody like him, because you know, this is this is
- 14:42Speaker 2: the same dude that literally chased down Banner across the
- 14:46Speaker 2: whole world, and who's been wanting to turn him into
- 14:48Speaker 2: a weapon. It wasn't to contain him, but to turn
- 14:50Speaker 2: him into a weapon. All right, to get to get
- 14:53Speaker 2: the Hulk, to turn get the Hulk, turn it into
- 14:56Speaker 2: a weapon. That's all he wanted. And like and here
- 15:00Speaker 2: start handying Ross the entire Avengers or half of the
- 15:04Speaker 2: Avengers on a silver platter, Like, okay, cool, Ross is
- 15:08Speaker 2: getting what he wants, a whole bunch of superhumans.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm somewhere in the middle of the two because Tony
- 15:18Speaker 1: had the right idea wrong execution. But Captain Americ, because
- 15:26Speaker 1: Steve could have fixed the whole goddamn problem. The whole
- 15:31Speaker 1: problem could have been fixed back in Winter Soldier if
- 15:34Speaker 1: he just stopped and like chatted, talked about talked about stuff,
- 15:39Speaker 1: instead running and trying to say Bucky and all this
- 15:41Speaker 1: other shit, then Civil War probably would not have happened.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And of course the ending would it would come out
- 15:47Speaker 1: is better if Steve just told Tony, hey, yeah, so
- 15:53Speaker 1: Bucky killed your parents, but he was on the right mindset.
- 15:57Speaker 1: If you just had a conversation with him, and when
- 15:59Speaker 1: it ended, a whole lot better. So at the end
- 16:01Speaker 1: of it, now I was totally Tony. I was like,
- 16:02Speaker 1: you know, Tony, fuck him up, fuck Steve up, fuck
- 16:06Speaker 1: him up, buck Steve Rogers. I mean, I do love Steve,
- 16:11Speaker 1: but I'm like, you got me fucked up for not
- 16:14Speaker 1: for not being like, hey, let's up talk.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I definitely I agree that that Steve should have
- 16:21Speaker 2: been upfront about it, but I think, like, like I
- 16:24Speaker 2: don't think he was one hundred percent sure at the time.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Well that's fair, that's fair.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Because like he could have been. It literally could have
- 16:31Speaker 2: been any other hydra agent that killed uh, that killed
- 16:35Speaker 2: Tony's parents, But he had his suspicions, but he didn't
- 16:40Speaker 2: want to like voice him until he knew and like
- 16:43Speaker 2: it cause what yeah, No, it's like it's it's one
- 16:48Speaker 2: of those things where like like he could say he
- 16:50Speaker 2: could have told Tony like, oh, yeah, Bucky killed your parents,
- 16:53Speaker 2: but then it turns out like, oh, it wasn't Bucky,
- 16:56Speaker 2: but rather another hydra agent. But so at the end
- 16:59Speaker 2: of the day, Buck, he wasn't wasn't in control of himself.
- 17:02Speaker 2: He had been brainwashed for decades and turned into a
- 17:06Speaker 2: hydra agent like their greatest weapon, a super soldier with
- 17:10Speaker 2: a metal arm, and that's completely under their control. And
- 17:14Speaker 2: his memories have been wiped like repeatedly. Yeah, so you
- 17:22Speaker 2: can't really like Bucky. Yeah, like you can't really blame
- 17:27Speaker 2: Bucky because it wasn't like he didn't do it because
- 17:30Speaker 2: he personally wanted to be like he was personally like
- 17:33Speaker 2: poor Hydra. But it's one of those things where it's
- 17:36Speaker 2: just like you need to give him a little bit
- 17:38Speaker 2: more grace, Like he needs to be stopped, and you
- 17:40Speaker 2: need to like, we need to get Bucky into a
- 17:42Speaker 2: place where we can like make sure he's completely deconditioned
- 17:45Speaker 2: exactly like that and have that brainwashing removed. You know,
- 17:49Speaker 2: gotta you gotta take him out of the playing field
- 17:51Speaker 2: so that way no more harm can be done, because like,
- 17:54Speaker 2: look what happened in Civil War. He got uh Zmo
- 17:58Speaker 2: barren Zemo managed to infiltrate his prison and reactivate the
- 18:03Speaker 2: super so the Winter Soldier. Yeah, so Bucky, regardless, Bucky
- 18:09Speaker 2: was gonna need to have been taken off the playing field. Regardless,
- 18:15Speaker 2: we couldn't.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Keep his love for Bucky. I'm sorry. Those two are gay.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Those who are gay fagots, fagots. Steve is in love
- 18:25Speaker 1: with Bucky. Period. You can't tell me otherwise. You can't
- 18:27Speaker 1: tell me otherwise. Would you go that far for a man?
- 18:33Speaker 1: I mean, I guess you could for your best friend. Sure,
- 18:35Speaker 1: but at the same time there's something going on there
- 18:38Speaker 1: between those two.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Well it's I think it's just more for me, it's
- 18:42Speaker 2: just it's not gay coaded. I don't think it's gay coaded,
- 18:45Speaker 2: but it's.
- 18:45Speaker 1: More like coded.
- 18:47Speaker 2: But like it's it's a it's a it's a trauma
- 18:52Speaker 2: response because Steve, when you think about it, Steve is
- 18:55Speaker 2: experiencing a form of post traumatic stress disorder. And also
- 18:59Speaker 2: like he is completely outside of his reality because he
- 19:06Speaker 2: is from a different time. He's literally Steve is from
- 19:09Speaker 2: is literally from a different time. Nobody he knew was
- 19:12Speaker 2: still alive. Like the last person that he personally knew
- 19:15Speaker 2: died like a few years after coming out of ice,
- 19:18Speaker 2: and she could barely remember who he was, all right,
- 19:22Speaker 2: you know, Peggy was old. He missed his chance with
- 19:24Speaker 2: her and she had already lived her life. And now
- 19:27Speaker 2: Steve has to completely rebuild his life from scratch in
- 19:30Speaker 2: a world that he doesn't fully understand. And then suddenly
- 19:33Speaker 2: he finds out that his best friend, who was who
- 19:35Speaker 2: is basically who is the next best thing to being
- 19:39Speaker 2: a brother to him, and who was literally like basically
- 19:43Speaker 2: his his own found family, is still alive and in
- 19:46Speaker 2: troubled like I there's I could say, it's easy to
- 19:50Speaker 2: see that that Steve was desperate to preserve the one
- 19:57Speaker 2: thing from his previous life that he could.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, no one was thinking clearly during those movies, h
- 20:06Speaker 1: either one, because Tony was handling his PTSD and trauma
- 20:10Speaker 1: from the Avengers and the loss of his parents and
- 20:13Speaker 1: wanting to protect everybody and save the world. Where he
- 20:16Speaker 1: went off the deep end.
- 20:18Speaker 2: And he's kneeling his own guilt for causing the Secovia event.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Exactly it was. It was Stark, that was all Stark.
- 20:27Speaker 2: He's the one who wanted to play around with the
- 20:29Speaker 2: Chatari scepter and ended up unleashing an AI that wanted
- 20:33Speaker 2: to murder everyone in the world with a with a
- 20:36Speaker 2: man made or excuse me, a I made asteroid and
- 20:41Speaker 2: literally destroyed an entire city to do so, all right,
- 20:46Speaker 2: like the when when when Ross was pointing it was
- 20:51Speaker 2: over here pointing fingers at the Avengers for all these
- 20:53Speaker 2: other events, like like okay, he pointed fingers at the
- 20:58Speaker 2: he was blaming the Avengers for New York or the
- 21:04Speaker 2: Triskellion event, and from Captain America too, and then uh
- 21:08Speaker 2: and then of course to Koba and then the incident
- 21:10Speaker 2: that happened at the beginning of Civil War where they
- 21:13Speaker 2: were trying where they're trying to track down Crossbones and
- 21:16Speaker 2: and people died because of the explosion he set off.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Now Fellows father, Yeah, yeah, now Socoba, yes, that was that. No,
- 21:28Speaker 2: So here's thing. Socovia was Stark's fault, not the Avengers.
- 21:32Speaker 2: The Avengers had to clean that up. The event with Crossbones, yes,
- 21:37Speaker 2: that was controversial and they needed to. They had to.
- 21:40Speaker 2: They should have handled it better. But the Avengers shouldn't
- 21:44Speaker 2: cannot be blamed for what happened in New York or
- 21:46Speaker 2: the Triskellion. Okay, the try Shield was infiltrated by Hydra
- 21:53Speaker 2: and they were literally about to murder millions of people
- 21:55Speaker 2: just to ensure that their propaganda there, uh, and their
- 22:01Speaker 2: power was. They wanted to ensure that they could control everything.
- 22:06Speaker 2: And he's over here trying to blame the Avengers for that.
- 22:10Speaker 2: And then like also, Shield was the one that was
- 22:14Speaker 2: the one at fault for the events of New York
- 22:16Speaker 2: with Loki because they were experimenting with the test rack
- 22:20Speaker 2: that got Loki's attention and thanals is by the way,
- 22:24Speaker 2: like he got Thanos' attention who and he sent Loki
- 22:27Speaker 2: to get it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: So at the end of the day, it shields its
- 22:31Speaker 1: Shield's fault. M hmm, if anything, for those first two
- 22:36Speaker 1: events at all, Yeah, yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 2: For those first two events, that was Shield's fault. For
- 22:42Speaker 2: so Kovia, that was Stark's fault. But for some reason
- 22:46Speaker 2: they're wanting to put the like share the blame with
- 22:49Speaker 2: the rest of the Avengers and the like. No, the
- 22:51Speaker 2: other Avengers were all pissed at Tony for playing around
- 22:55Speaker 2: with something he didn't even like he didn't understand.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Now, I will put someone else the blame for Kovia
- 23:01Speaker 1: with the Ultron incident, because it's not was not just Tony,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and people have a tendency to forget that Bruce was
- 23:07Speaker 1: involved in that. Bruce also made Ultron.
- 23:11Speaker 2: He is, he does share the responsibility for that. It's
- 23:14Speaker 2: just I'm kind of like, I don't really want to
- 23:16Speaker 2: put the blame oldly on on Bruce because Bruce they
- 23:20Speaker 2: share it together, I know, but like I didn't really
- 23:23Speaker 2: want to include him because Bruce was against it from
- 23:25Speaker 2: the start. He's like, we don't understand what's going on.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but he still did it.
- 23:31Speaker 2: It's fair he should have. He should have just said no,
- 23:33Speaker 2: you're on your own.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, he should have just said no, which I really do.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Hope Ultron comes back in the Vision series Vision Quest,
- 23:40Speaker 1: because I don't think he's dead. I hope he's not.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Like I like Ultron. He's interesting, cool and wants the annihilation.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And that deals with Ultron put in space anyway.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So but so we talked about Civil War. Now let's
- 23:57Speaker 2: go to Civil War Part two.
- 23:59Speaker 1: The Civil War Part two, of course, the Little Civil
- 24:02Speaker 1: War Part one in the comics deals with the Registration
- 24:06Speaker 1: Superhero Registration Act, where the government's like, you have to
- 24:09Speaker 1: register yourself with the government, we have to know everything
- 24:14Speaker 1: about you, your secret day. The whole works because you
- 24:17Speaker 1: superheroes are out of control. So it's kind of like
- 24:19Speaker 1: the movie in a sense, by a much wider scale.
- 24:22Speaker 1: And that's the one where Spider Man reveals himself to
- 24:26Speaker 1: the public as Peter Parker and all that. So that
- 24:31Speaker 1: was Ironman versus cap and of course we saw how
- 24:36Speaker 1: that played out in the end. They didn't die, none
- 24:39Speaker 1: of them died really, but you know, it's a hot mess.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And then this one is dealing with Tony and Carol
- 24:46Speaker 1: because of a young and human named Ulyssus Cain so
- 24:52Speaker 1: Eulysius Caine is a Ohio State University student a so
- 25:00Speaker 1: the movie. The movie the series starts with him on
- 25:05Speaker 1: campus as the Terrigen Mist is making its course over
- 25:09Speaker 1: the university. Now, the Tarogan Myths, for those of you
- 25:12Speaker 1: who don't know, is the myss that turns people that
- 25:18Speaker 1: have the inhuman gene. It wakens it, and basically the
- 25:22Speaker 1: myst goes over a certain area and if you're in
- 25:23Speaker 1: a human you don't realize it, it'll waken up your
- 25:26Speaker 1: human genetics, in human genetics, and you'll be like put
- 25:30Speaker 1: into this cocoon, and when you're reborn, you're inhuman. So
- 25:35Speaker 1: because in humans and humans, their dnaates are basically the
- 25:40Speaker 1: inhumans are like the space mutants. Basically the Cree by
- 25:43Speaker 1: the Cree, or there are humans genetically modified by the Cree,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's the whole thing. But they're basically very similar to
- 25:51Speaker 1: the mutants.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I think about the Yeah, it's the funny thing about
- 25:55Speaker 2: the in humans is that the Cree may not have
- 25:57Speaker 2: realized it, but mutants were originally created by the celestials.
- 26:01Speaker 2: So like the ex gene was created by celestial interference
- 26:05Speaker 2: because it was supposed to it comes down to like
- 26:07Speaker 2: their relation to the into the eternals and the deviants,
- 26:12Speaker 2: and like the eternals were supposed to be like the
- 26:16Speaker 2: like what humanity was supposed to be like the more
- 26:19Speaker 2: like the potential the of like their highest evolutionary form.
- 26:23Speaker 2: And then the deviants were just like the cast off
- 26:26Speaker 2: the rejects. And then like after like experimenting like with
- 26:30Speaker 2: the two different extremes of like evolution, the celestials created
- 26:34Speaker 2: the the X gene and then that was placed in
- 26:39Speaker 2: like that was seated into human genetics, and over time
- 26:43Speaker 2: the ex gene would eventually emerge. Yeah, but the Creamy
- 26:47Speaker 2: came along and they found and they discovered the X gene,
- 26:51Speaker 2: and they found and they experimented with ways to trigger it,
- 26:54Speaker 2: and eventually it led to the creation of the inhuman
- 26:57Speaker 2: of the inhumans.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yep, so I got in humans created by the Cree.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And there's the Royal Family blah blah blah love the
- 27:07Speaker 1: Royal Family, love black Bolt and Medusa love them, and
- 27:11Speaker 1: the new event. So they've been gone from the comments
- 27:14Speaker 1: for quite some time, but I mean presently until Imperial. Yeah, Imperial,
- 27:19Speaker 1: which is a event that just finished up that brought
- 27:23Speaker 1: them back into play because they lost their kingdom and everything,
- 27:26Speaker 1: and they kind of went into recluse. This they kind
- 27:29Speaker 1: of hate away for quite a few years during like
- 27:31Speaker 1: the kur cohen Age because so Marvel tried to use
- 27:35Speaker 1: them as the X Men without using the X Men
- 27:37Speaker 1: because they didn't want to give Fox any more storylines
- 27:40Speaker 1: to use, so they kind of back backseatd the X
- 27:44Speaker 1: Men for a while and they used it in Humans
- 27:47Speaker 1: to kind of replace them, so old we could have
- 27:49Speaker 1: our own ex we can have you can use the
- 27:51Speaker 1: in humans instead for whatever reason. But then they got
- 27:55Speaker 1: rid of the Inhumans and now they're bringing them back,
- 27:58Speaker 1: and I'm high key excited because you can have the
- 28:01Speaker 1: X Men and then Humans in the same room. You
- 28:05Speaker 1: just need you just got to know what you're going
- 28:08Speaker 1: to do with them, because people, I guess I don't
- 28:12Speaker 1: know what to do with both of them when they're
- 28:14Speaker 1: both at play because they feel like, oh, we're just
- 28:17Speaker 1: the humans, are just the X Men. That's not true
- 28:19Speaker 1: at all. They have their own own.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Honestly. The Humans are kind of like an alternate version
- 28:26Speaker 2: of Atlantis, Yeah, because they're there's there. Yeah, They're home
- 28:31Speaker 2: city is called Atland, but Atlan is on the moon,
- 28:36Speaker 2: not under the sea. Yeah, and their king is black Bull,
- 28:42Speaker 2: not anymore mm hm, so yeah, and I mean I
- 28:49Speaker 2: don't I mean, it's not that hard. Like the X
- 28:50Speaker 2: Men are are like activists, they're human rights activists. They've
- 28:54Speaker 2: always fought for for equality and human rights. And then, honestly,
- 28:57Speaker 2: I never really understood what the in humans for was, like,
- 29:01Speaker 2: what their purpose was, like what being humans.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Honestly, the way they treat the in humans and the
- 29:07Speaker 1: X Men, I don't know why people think they're the same,
- 29:09Speaker 1: because they're not. They treat the mutants like people. Of
- 29:12Speaker 1: course they're trying there. They represent minorities and represent like
- 29:19Speaker 1: acceptance of humanity and who you are. And humans are
- 29:23Speaker 1: just literally aliens human human aliens. I mean they're genetically
- 29:30Speaker 1: altered humans, of course, but like they're basically another alien race.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I don't know how people get so confused with them
- 29:36Speaker 1: because they're like other erri trained but no, they're not.
- 29:39Speaker 1: The humans are treated like an alien race. They're not
- 29:41Speaker 1: in it. They don't want to necessarily live on Earth
- 29:44Speaker 1: or deal with humans because they have their own shit
- 29:46Speaker 1: to deal with. They're like, we don't care about your
- 29:48Speaker 1: human shit, your earthly shit. We don't give a shit.
- 29:51Speaker 1: We wanted to worry about our shit, because they'll put
- 29:53Speaker 1: themselves before anyone else, including humanity. If it means they
- 29:58Speaker 1: can get their shit together, get whatever they want, they'll
- 30:00Speaker 1: do it. They don't give a shit about human They
- 30:03Speaker 1: don't give a shit about humanity as much as like
- 30:05Speaker 1: the mutants do.
- 30:06Speaker 2: And historically speaking, the humans are not persecuted the same
- 30:10Speaker 2: way as mutants are.
- 30:12Speaker 1: No human in humans don't really give a ship. They
- 30:15Speaker 1: don't really and people are like, oh, you're in a
- 30:18Speaker 1: human They don't care, They really don't. They don't really
- 30:22Speaker 1: seem to care as much as the mutants. I don't know,
- 30:27Speaker 1: it's I just see that in humans is like an
- 30:28Speaker 1: alien like a like the like the scrolls, Like they're
- 30:31Speaker 1: an alien race that loves amongst humanity. And that's it,
- 30:34Speaker 1: because they're not really their own race. They're just genetically altered.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I actually don't know if they consider them their own,
- 30:43Speaker 1: their own like separate thing from humans, like the Homo
- 30:45Speaker 1: superior with the mutants, because the mutants are the evolutionary
- 30:49Speaker 1: line of humanity.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, humans. I heard one theory that the creed
- 30:55Speaker 2: created the like specifically designed in humans to be like
- 30:59Speaker 2: the perfect inful traders, because a lot of in humans
- 31:02Speaker 2: when they do when they are exposed to the Pterroogan
- 31:04Speaker 2: miss and they come out of the chrysalis, they a
- 31:08Speaker 2: lot of in humans come out with physical like completely
- 31:11Speaker 2: like looking completely different. Yeah like they they're I mean,
- 31:14Speaker 2: which happens with mutants too, But it seems like in
- 31:19Speaker 2: some cases in humans look very similar come out looking
- 31:22Speaker 2: very similar to other alien races. So there was a
- 31:24Speaker 2: theory that the Cree originally intended for the in humans
- 31:28Speaker 2: to be like the perfect infiltrators. So like if they
- 31:32Speaker 2: came out with traits mimicking another alien race, like they
- 31:35Speaker 2: may have like input, like they may have like somehow
- 31:38Speaker 2: like included DNA from other alien races into the in
- 31:43Speaker 2: the inhuman genetic code. So that way, like when Taragean
- 31:46Speaker 2: Myths activates their powers, they try they transform into something
- 31:49Speaker 2: that can mimic another alien and they could be like
- 31:52Speaker 2: used as like the perfect weapon to infiltrate like their enemies.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Though honestly, I haven't, I don't. I don't know of
- 31:59Speaker 2: an human that can shape shift like because like is
- 32:01Speaker 2: it the scroll is supposed to be like one of
- 32:03Speaker 2: their biggest adversaries yes.
- 32:06Speaker 1: The Scroll and Cree are always at each other's throats
- 32:09Speaker 1: until relatively recently, where they were ruled by Hulkling, who
- 32:16Speaker 1: is a or Billy who is a Cree and a Scroll.
- 32:23Speaker 1: He's the child of Captain Marvel, so that's why he
- 32:29Speaker 1: became king of the Scrolls and the Creed. He united
- 32:32Speaker 1: them together for quite a while, and then recently he
- 32:37Speaker 1: lost that because of the humans. Because the mad mad
- 32:43Speaker 1: oh my god, what's his name, both Black Bolt's brother,
- 32:49Speaker 1: Mad max Maximus, he was playing. He played them all
- 32:53Speaker 1: for a loop with him and the Collector and then
- 32:56Speaker 1: Black Bolts. Basically they used Matt Matt Maximus or Maxim
- 33:02Speaker 1: Maximus to basically give the in humans back there back
- 33:06Speaker 1: a throne by screwing over literally everybody, everybody from the
- 33:12Speaker 1: Cree to the fucking she taught she are to the
- 33:16Speaker 1: fucking Scrolls like it. Yeah, Billy's not king anymore, and
- 33:23Speaker 1: the humans have their throne. They have their kingdom again,
- 33:25Speaker 1: or they have a kingdom. And one of the funniest
- 33:29Speaker 1: things is after the after his brother gave him everything
- 33:33Speaker 1: that he wanted, the exiled him, the ex alum Maximus.
- 33:36Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, you're yeah, we don't need you anymore.
- 33:38Speaker 1: By You're you're a you're a hazard. Get the fuck out.
- 33:44Speaker 1: So they kicked him out, and I'm like, damn, they
- 33:47Speaker 1: got your crazy, started a whole war almost getting rid
- 33:53Speaker 1: of fucking the queen, the Queen of the she Are,
- 33:56Speaker 1: and you're just gonna we're all along. You're not welcome
- 33:59Speaker 1: here by damn.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah. So so now we know a little bit more
- 34:06Speaker 2: about the what the inhumans are think about Ulysses Caine
- 34:10Speaker 2: is that he gets exposed to going back to Elysses Kane,
- 34:14Speaker 2: he gets exposed to pterogen miss. Did I know the story?
- 34:19Speaker 1: Oh? Work work.
- 34:21Speaker 2: So he also gets uh, he gets exposed to tarrogen miss,
- 34:26Speaker 2: which is the it's a it's a chemical that that
- 34:29Speaker 2: activates or triggers the inhuman mutation. So when it happens,
- 34:34Speaker 2: they get transformed into a crystalist and after like I
- 34:37Speaker 2: don't really know what the gestation period is, but it
- 34:40Speaker 2: doesn't usually last very long. They come out of it
- 34:42Speaker 2: and they have an ability.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, ands or whatnot?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Or I think in maxis the Mads case, he didn't
- 34:50Speaker 2: get any powers, Like.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Nope, he sure didn't.
- 34:53Speaker 2: No he he it activates and he gets crystallized but
- 34:57Speaker 2: then when he comes out of it, it's just like he's.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Just a guy, just a guy.
- 35:02Speaker 2: He's just a little guy.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He's just a crazy He's just an insane nut job exactly.
- 35:08Speaker 2: That's all he is. Doesn't get any powers, but the
- 35:11Speaker 2: thing is he knows how to use his mouth. Mm hmm.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Now going back to Ulysses Kine, is that Kine develops
- 35:17Speaker 2: the ability to see the future, he gets a he
- 35:20Speaker 2: gets a I don't want to say it's a powerful
- 35:24Speaker 2: ability because honestly, it turns out that his ability to
- 35:27Speaker 2: see the future is not that accurate. It's accurate, but
- 35:32Speaker 2: like later on, it's determined that it's it's actually influenced
- 35:36Speaker 2: by certain events, so it could.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's sure by somebody in the background.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, we'll go I actually don't know that, Like
- 35:46Speaker 2: I don't know who that is though, Like I'll let
- 35:48Speaker 2: you go over that.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 2: But the thing is is that when the Avengers just uh,
- 35:54Speaker 2: the Avengers discover that that Ulysses has this ability, and
- 36:00Speaker 2: the thing is is that half of them, mainly Captain Marvel,
- 36:02Speaker 2: wants to use Ulysses' ability to stop crimes from happening.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Based before they to stop the fight crime before it's
- 36:09Speaker 2: before it even happens. They figured it because the thing is,
- 36:12Speaker 2: the Avengers and the inhumans get involved with each other
- 36:15Speaker 2: because they had to work together to defeat an invading
- 36:19Speaker 2: celestial destroyer, and they find out afterward that Ulysses had
- 36:24Speaker 2: predicted it, and that's when the whole idea that let's
- 36:29Speaker 2: use his power to predict crime before it happens and
- 36:32Speaker 2: then stop it, right to prevent crime. And iron Man
- 36:39Speaker 2: restaunchly refuses to use this because to do this because
- 36:42Speaker 2: the thing is that he firmly believes that the future
- 36:45Speaker 2: isn't set in stone. So prosecuting people for committing a
- 36:49Speaker 2: crime that hasn't happened yet is not It's not ethical,
- 36:53Speaker 2: it's not it's morally. Morally speaking, it's not right, okay,
- 37:00Speaker 2: because you never know somebody who who may have been
- 37:04Speaker 2: predicted to commit a crime in the future may not
- 37:06Speaker 2: actually do so. All right, we don't have a right
- 37:09Speaker 2: to go in and just and just say you're under
- 37:13Speaker 2: arrest for a crime that you're going to commit tomorrow
- 37:15Speaker 2: at five o'clock. What crime? And like, I'm sorry, what
- 37:19Speaker 2: crime is that you murder? You murder your fiance? After
- 37:23Speaker 2: finding out she has she's been having an affair. My
- 37:25Speaker 2: fiance has been having an affair. Oh my god. All right,
- 37:33Speaker 2: these things, like things can be happening differently, Like they could,
- 37:37Speaker 2: like I see the potential for it, but instead of
- 37:39Speaker 2: like using it to stop crime in such a way
- 37:42Speaker 2: that like you're persecuting innocent people for something that they
- 37:45Speaker 2: may or may not commit, they could do something to
- 37:47Speaker 2: maybe they could do something different, Like definitely they can
- 37:51Speaker 2: prevent the crime from happening, but not in a way
- 37:53Speaker 2: that cause that infringes on somebody's personal freedom, you know,
- 37:57Speaker 2: And they're still on their on their personal rights, right.
- 38:02Speaker 2: But Captain Marvel wants to use this star doesn't And
- 38:05Speaker 2: that's where the line becomes drawn. And the thing is
- 38:09Speaker 2: that begins to escalate because uh war Machine gets killed
- 38:14Speaker 2: by Thanos and she Hulk is mortally wounded because Captain
- 38:18Speaker 2: Marvel uses a shot uses ulysses. I keep wanting to
- 38:22Speaker 2: call them ulysses. Uh I want to call I want
- 38:26Speaker 2: to call him Kane or I'm not Kane Claw. Yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 2: because there's another Ulysses in Marble. But the thing is
- 38:33Speaker 2: that they use they use ulysses ability to predict when
- 38:37Speaker 2: Thanos is going to invade and they try to ambush him,
- 38:40Speaker 2: but it didn't go quite as expected, so war Machine
- 38:44Speaker 2: gets killed. She Hulk is mortally wounded, and Iron Man
- 38:50Speaker 2: vows that they're gonna they're not that he's gonna put
- 38:53Speaker 2: a stop to them using Ulysses, and unfortunately, she Hulk
- 38:56Speaker 2: dies and though she still believes in Captain Marble's uh
- 39:04Speaker 2: plan to fight for the future. Yeah, and I think
- 39:10Speaker 2: this is where things get more and more heated. Like
- 39:14Speaker 2: this is where I think Stark is in the wrong
- 39:15Speaker 2: because instead of like going through proper channels, he actually
- 39:19Speaker 2: kidnaps Ulysses from New Atlan and he basically holds him
- 39:27Speaker 2: hostage and helped to like stop Yeah, but that caused
- 39:35Speaker 2: the inhumans to retaliate and they attack Stark Tower, but
- 39:39Speaker 2: the Avengers stop them. Yeah, and the thing is like
- 39:47Speaker 2: they forget they agree to like confront Iron Man together.
- 39:50Speaker 2: They they managed to come to like they stop they
- 39:53Speaker 2: prevent like any further blows from happening, like from the
- 39:56Speaker 2: fight from escalating, and they agree to confront Iron Man
- 40:00Speaker 2: together at a secret facility where he's testing and trying
- 40:03Speaker 2: to figure out how Ulysses powers work. And during this conversation, confrontation.
- 40:10Speaker 2: He has a vision that the Hulp. He has a
- 40:13Speaker 2: vision of the Hulk killing the Avengers, and I'll let
- 40:18Speaker 2: you explain what happens next.
- 40:21Speaker 1: So when Chase by this point, Banner has not been
- 40:26Speaker 1: has not been the Hulk for a hot ass minute,
- 40:30Speaker 1: like he's been gone separate from the Hulk. He has
- 40:32Speaker 1: not been hulked out nothing. So the Avengers or Captain Marvel,
- 40:37Speaker 1: the Ultimates and all of them decide to confront Banner,
- 40:43Speaker 1: and Banner's like, I haven't changed in like forever, what
- 40:47Speaker 1: the fuck? What? And Carol's just like, let's wall was
- 40:50Speaker 1: just bring you in and we can just look you
- 40:52Speaker 1: over and you And then of course they find out
- 40:54Speaker 1: Beast is looking at the computer because apparently Beast is
- 40:57Speaker 1: with the inhumans currently. I don't know what's going on
- 41:00Speaker 1: in the because then humans have human tors with them,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and same with the Beast. I don't know why. That's
- 41:10Speaker 1: way over my head. So there's a whole storyline there,
- 41:13Speaker 1: I'm sure. But he's looking and they're like, oh, you've
- 41:20Speaker 1: been putting gamma radiation in your body and everyone's like,
- 41:24Speaker 1: uh oh why and he's like, WHOA, I haven't changed
- 41:31Speaker 1: in so long. I'm just kind of testing the waters,
- 41:35Speaker 1: and they all start turning, and I all kind of
- 41:37Speaker 1: start turning on them. Everyone gets a little freaked out
- 41:40Speaker 1: because they're like, you're doing well with gamma radiation, Banner.
- 41:44Speaker 1: So they end up leaving the off leaving going outside
- 41:48Speaker 1: and they're in a big open area and Banner looses
- 41:51Speaker 1: his temper and he's like, I'm not even turning. He
- 41:55Speaker 1: gets angry, He's like, you're making me angry. He starts
- 41:57Speaker 1: getting mad, and then before anything can happen, he gets
- 42:01Speaker 1: shot in the face by Clint and a tree further back,
- 42:07Speaker 1: and apparently Clint fired the arrow, so that so we
- 42:10Speaker 1: had a Banner made an arrow specifically for Clint to
- 42:15Speaker 1: kill him with if he were to ever try to
- 42:17Speaker 1: hulk out Bannon that Banner gave him and he shot.
- 42:22Speaker 1: He came up, he surrendered, and he basically said that
- 42:28Speaker 1: he saw that Bannon was going to hulk out, so
- 42:32Speaker 1: he decided to take the shot. And you kind of
- 42:37Speaker 1: get the idea that might that you don't know, you're
- 42:39Speaker 1: not true sure if that was true or not, because
- 42:42Speaker 1: if you look at the art, there is a little
- 42:44Speaker 1: little hint of like green in his eyes, like the
- 42:48Speaker 1: Little People and you're but for anything happening, gets shot
- 42:52Speaker 1: in the face that he died, so he's dead God,
- 42:55Speaker 1: And of course he comes back in The Immortal Hulk,
- 42:58Speaker 1: but that is much later. But girl, everyone was like, oh,
- 43:04Speaker 1: I was like, oh they killed Banner. Oh shit. Oh.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I was like, oh damn, I did not see that coming.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But yeah, Banner's dead. So Tony's real upset because now
- 43:18Speaker 1: he's lost Rody because during one of the missions that
- 43:22Speaker 1: they usually yeah, Ulysseus was trying to stop Thanos and
- 43:26Speaker 1: then during the midst of all that with Thanos, Rody
- 43:29Speaker 1: died too. So Rody's gone and so is Banner, two
- 43:33Speaker 1: people that Tony adored. And of course during this time,
- 43:39Speaker 1: Carol and Rody were also a couple. Rody's not an
- 43:45Speaker 1: old man in the comics like he is in the
- 43:47Speaker 1: MCU y'all. He's very much younger man. I know, I
- 43:50Speaker 1: thought that was kind of weird too, and I'm like,
- 43:52Speaker 1: wait a minute, but yeah, no, Rody's a much younger
- 43:55Speaker 1: guy in the comics. But yeah, he had a relationship
- 43:57Speaker 1: with Carol, and yeah, yeah he died too. So two
- 44:03Speaker 1: people have died so far. So Tony's like I gotta
- 44:05Speaker 1: figure out how the fuck these how the fuck this
- 44:07Speaker 1: ship works. So he starts devising up to figure out
- 44:14Speaker 1: and of course Carolson wants to use the visions and
- 44:20Speaker 1: Tony's like, no, this is not smart. We don't know
- 44:24Speaker 1: how this ship fucking works. So eventually they get uh,
- 44:30Speaker 1: is this the one where they get this is the
- 44:32Speaker 1: part where they get Jean Gray. They get Jing Gray.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I think that's actually the I think this was before
- 44:37Speaker 1: Banner died. But at some point they get Jing Gray involved,
- 44:41Speaker 1: the young Jing Gray because at this point Jan Gray
- 44:42Speaker 1: is dead. The president Jean Gray. So they got the
- 44:46Speaker 1: younger Jean Gray because this is during the story during
- 44:48Speaker 1: the storyline of the young X men from the sixties
- 44:52Speaker 1: being put into the future and they're stuck here. So
- 44:56Speaker 1: they got Jing Gray to look into his mind to
- 44:58Speaker 1: see if she could figure out how his visions work
- 45:02Speaker 1: that way, because I mean, Jean Gray is a she said,
- 45:07Speaker 1: will make a telepath even at that age. Granted she's
- 45:10Speaker 1: not as good as she is when she's older, of course,
- 45:12Speaker 1: but she kind of gets an idea on She's like, wow,
- 45:19Speaker 1: you're' this is weird, and she's kind of digging around
- 45:23Speaker 1: and this is where they get the vision of I
- 45:26Speaker 1: think this is after the fact. I think this is
- 45:28Speaker 1: where they get the vision of Spider Man killing. Is
- 45:34Speaker 1: this where they gets vision of Spider Man killing Steve Rogers?
- 45:38Speaker 1: I think so, yes, yes, and I think it is
- 45:41Speaker 1: so this is where the ulysses. His visions get stronger
- 45:46Speaker 1: as the story goes on, and of course, at one
- 45:48Speaker 1: point they get a vision where everyone can see now
- 45:55Speaker 1: his visions are projecting, they're getting stronger. So he sees
- 45:59Speaker 1: a vision of Miles Morales Spider Man killing Steve Rogers,
- 46:03Speaker 1: and everyone's like, ooh, oh, oh, oh shit. So Carol
- 46:09Speaker 1: of course wants to wants to arrest Miles, and Tony's
- 46:15Speaker 1: like why he hasn't done anything. He's like, but we're
- 46:19Speaker 1: doing it for his protection, and Tony's like, no, what
- 46:24Speaker 1: the fuck? So they joke it out over it, and
- 46:29Speaker 1: of course Miles runs away and basically Steve gives him
- 46:35Speaker 1: the opportunity to go home, and Miles leaves. Maria Hill
- 46:39Speaker 1: places Iron Man's team under arrest by Doctor Strange, but
- 46:43Speaker 1: Doctor tray Tel reports them to Nick tellesports them to
- 46:47Speaker 1: one Nick Fiery safehouses. So of course, Team iron Man
- 46:51Speaker 1: at this point Shields also with Carol on this Maria Hill.
- 46:55Speaker 1: So Maria is like, you all are under arrest, and
- 46:57Speaker 1: Tony is like, I don't fuck have anks out and
- 46:59Speaker 1: doctor the strangers like Bob bitch is and they poof
- 47:03Speaker 1: away to a safe house. At the safe house, the
- 47:07Speaker 1: Young Avengers sneak off to find Miles Young Avengers which
- 47:11Speaker 1: is Billy wickan uh Nova mts Marvel that group and
- 47:26Speaker 1: they go looking for him uh and then of course
- 47:31Speaker 1: while Hill, while Hill receives communications that Miles is at
- 47:35Speaker 1: the un United States Capital, same location scene in Ulysses's vision,
- 47:41Speaker 1: he killed Captain America and so they all come back.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Ulysses has a vision of himself in a UH in
- 47:49Speaker 1: a wasteland of an unknown future, meeting an older Wolverine.
- 47:56Speaker 1: His visions are going haywire at this point. They he's
- 48:00Speaker 1: having visions for random things and he's like, what's happening?
- 48:03Speaker 1: And he doesn't even understand what his powers are doing,
- 48:06Speaker 1: because they're just getting stronger and stronger to the point
- 48:09Speaker 1: where it's like what am I? What am I doing?
- 48:15Speaker 1: So he sees the older Wolverine. The wolverine tells him
- 48:18Speaker 1: or this version of Wolverine tells him Ulysses that the
- 48:21Speaker 1: humans have left the plant because of iron Man pushed
- 48:24Speaker 1: her too far, and he's like, oh shit, Carol. So
- 48:31Speaker 1: when the vision's over useless, he gets Medusa, the queen
- 48:36Speaker 1: of the inhumans, and he about what he saw. And
- 48:40Speaker 1: of course, meanwhile Rogers approaches Miles at the Capitol to
- 48:45Speaker 1: gain some understanding about Ulyssus's vision. Now Ulysses is going
- 48:51Speaker 1: to inhuman royal family because like, oh oh, he's iron
- 48:55Speaker 1: Man is gonna Tony's gonna push Carol too far and
- 48:57Speaker 1: Carol's gonna do something stupid. And what happens exactly that
- 49:02Speaker 1: exactly yep, because Homegirl love her to death. Love a
- 49:08Speaker 1: problematic queen, but she has a temper because she's literally
- 49:12Speaker 1: a son. So as Captain Marvel arrives to take Miles
- 49:16Speaker 1: and the custody, iron Man intercepts and attacks Captain Marvel,
- 49:20Speaker 1: Medusa warns the other heroes of his of the Inhuman's
- 49:24Speaker 1: vision and try to in vain to stop the fight.
- 49:28Speaker 1: After Captain Marvel delivers a Basically, they duke it out
- 49:31Speaker 1: on the capital capital steps and the government is like,
- 49:35Speaker 1: we don't and Marray Hill's like, I told you, I
- 49:38Speaker 1: didn't want to fight on these steps, and here we are,
- 49:41Speaker 1: what are we doing? What are we doing? What are
- 49:46Speaker 1: we doing? And they're duking it out and Carol beats
- 49:53Speaker 1: his ass, beats his ass a fatal bloat, Tony Stark
- 50:02Speaker 1: fatle blow, and then Ulysses starts seeing possible futures like crazy,
- 50:07Speaker 1: like he starts developing these tendrils that come out of
- 50:10Speaker 1: his body and this is this is what the inhumans
- 50:13Speaker 1: before they came over to uh the try to stop Carol.
- 50:18Speaker 1: He ends up developing like these weird tendrils coming off
- 50:20Speaker 1: his body, and he's seen all these different visions of
- 50:23Speaker 1: possible futures constantly, and then he disappears because Eternity came up,
- 50:33Speaker 1: came up to him. You'd be like, you're needed elsewhere,
- 50:38Speaker 1: come to me. Basically, he Ulysses ascended to a cosmic entity,
- 50:45Speaker 1: becoming a cosmic entity, and he pieced out and we
- 50:49Speaker 1: haven't seen him since.
- 50:50Speaker 2: So he's okay, all right, Yeah, his.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Visions were getting to the point where they're becoming like
- 50:56Speaker 1: cosmic level shit, and Eternity was like, you're coming with me,
- 51:00Speaker 1: You're one of us. Boom, come on, come on, li man,
- 51:04Speaker 1: and he vanished, and everyone's like, oh well shit.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Oh well, oh well, oh well, Stark had actually revealed
- 51:14Speaker 2: that in his test, he figured out that his visions
- 51:21Speaker 2: are ah uless. These powers is based on probability calculations,
- 51:28Speaker 2: So it's not absolute truth. So what are you say?
- 51:32Speaker 2: And it can be yeah, exactly, it can be manipulated.
- 51:35Speaker 2: So what he was seeing what and all these other
- 51:38Speaker 2: extra visions that keep popping up, is that they're not
- 51:42Speaker 2: actually going to happen, but they're going to but they
- 51:45Speaker 2: are probabilities, all right, so it's really just determined. It's
- 51:51Speaker 2: really determined on different factors that would cause that future
- 51:55Speaker 2: to happen. So so basically what he's saying is that
- 52:01Speaker 2: they've been they that Captain Marble was wasting her time
- 52:04Speaker 2: on a dude whose visions have us who are probably
- 52:09Speaker 2: gonna happen, meaning that they probably will happen, but they
- 52:12Speaker 2: can that only if they do something. Yeah, they can
- 52:16Speaker 2: still change them in some cases though, like a feature
- 52:19Speaker 2: that's gonna happen will happen because of your stupid ass,
- 52:22Speaker 2: like if you do something stupid exactly, like like like
- 52:26Speaker 2: the vision apparently looked like Miles Morales kills Steve Rogers.
- 52:31Speaker 2: But what if it wasn't him that ends up killing
- 52:34Speaker 2: Steve Rogers, Like what if the scene that they saw
- 52:37Speaker 2: was just the aftermath, Like what if Oh, I don't know,
- 52:41Speaker 2: say Captain Marvele kills Steve Rogers. I mean she practically
- 52:46Speaker 2: she almost killed Tony.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Well she killed Tony, yeah killed yeah, yeah tote. Basically
- 52:55Speaker 1: Tony fucks don't gets fucked, and she basically takes him
- 53:01Speaker 1: out and where she basically end of the stories where
- 53:05Speaker 1: Eternity takes Ulysses at his side and they come to
- 53:10Speaker 1: become a new cosmic entity and then they peace out
- 53:12Speaker 1: and then Carol beats the shit out of Tony and
- 53:16Speaker 1: then that's pretty much the end, and Carol feels bad
- 53:20Speaker 1: about it and she's just like, I didn't mean, I
- 53:24Speaker 1: didn't wait. Problem does Tony and Carol have a very
- 53:30Speaker 1: long relationship, very comic gay relationship because they've been there
- 53:38Speaker 1: for each other at their worst points with Tony's alcoholism,
- 53:42Speaker 1: Carol and her own issues before she became Captain Marvel,
- 53:46Speaker 1: when she was Miss Marvel and shit, so they both
- 53:48Speaker 1: were there for each other when times are rough. So
- 53:52Speaker 1: at the end it comes down to where you kind
- 53:54Speaker 1: of get the impression that Tony's either dead or he's
- 53:56Speaker 1: going to die. And that's where Tony goes missing for
- 53:59Speaker 1: a while while. And that's also where you get like
- 54:02Speaker 1: re re re ree Williams Iron hurt. And the only
- 54:08Speaker 1: way you see Tony in the in the in the
- 54:10Speaker 1: Marvel comics for that short time is the AI because
- 54:14Speaker 1: Tony saved him, saved himself and turned himself into an
- 54:17Speaker 1: AI and really got ahold of that. And now that's
- 54:20Speaker 1: her AI for her for her suit, so she basically
- 54:24Speaker 1: has Tony with her. But Tony eventually does come back
- 54:27Speaker 1: here a couple I think like a year or two later,
- 54:29Speaker 1: Tony does come back. He wakes up from his coma.
- 54:32Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, Tony got fucked up. She fucked him up.
- 54:38Speaker 1: She fucked him. And now, as far as who was
- 54:44Speaker 1: playing everybody behind the scenes, because this the event that
- 54:48Speaker 1: happened right before what was the event called Imperial? No, no, Imperial?
- 54:57Speaker 1: Oh my god, what is it? It's where Captain America
- 55:00Speaker 1: ends up becoming He's a part of Hydra, secretly part
- 55:03Speaker 1: of Hydra.
- 55:06Speaker 2: I heard everybody hated that art.
- 55:13Speaker 1: What are you called? I forgot what you're called? Secret Empire?
- 55:17Speaker 1: Is the name so basically Captain America is part of
- 55:22Speaker 1: Hydra due to the due to a bunch of different
- 55:29Speaker 1: circumstances dealing with the embodiment of the Cosmic Cube, which
- 55:33Speaker 1: is a little girl long story if we ever do
- 55:36Speaker 1: if I ever do an episode in Secret Empire, I
- 55:38Speaker 1: will get into all of that. But basically, Ulysses' sus
- 55:41Speaker 1: visions were being played by Steve Rogers in the background.
- 55:47Speaker 1: He was manipulating everything pretty much. He's the one. He's
- 55:52Speaker 1: the reason why Bruce Banner died, He's the one that
- 55:55Speaker 1: planted that seed. He's the one that's also so he
- 56:00Speaker 1: was trying to. Of course, during this time, Captain America
- 56:03Speaker 1: is supposed to be a good guy, and at this
- 56:04Speaker 1: point he's evil, but he's in secret. So when he
- 56:07Speaker 1: found out about the n human that could see the future,
- 56:09Speaker 1: he was like, oh fuck, oh shit, they're gonna find
- 56:14Speaker 1: me out. But then he figured out, oh, I can
- 56:21Speaker 1: manipulate this, we can manipulate this. Hydra can manipulate this,
- 56:25Speaker 1: And they didn't, and they sure fucking did. So people
- 56:31Speaker 1: hate Civil War two a lot, but I love it
- 56:34Speaker 1: for the mere fact of like when you find out
- 56:37Speaker 1: that all his visions were manipulated on purpose before for
- 56:41Speaker 1: Captain Hydra or Captain Seve Rogers, hydrom whatever, evil Seve
- 56:46Speaker 1: Rogers manipulated the whole thing just so they wouldn't find
- 56:49Speaker 1: out about him. Girl props, get a mama. Love that.
- 56:56Speaker 1: It made the story so much better. It made it,
- 56:59Speaker 1: It made it more. I mean it actually have a purpose,
- 57:03Speaker 1: because by itself, sure it doesn't really have a purpose.
- 57:05Speaker 1: It's like, okay, cool, but with a person behind the
- 57:10Speaker 1: scenes manipulating everything, turning everyone against each other instead of
- 57:13Speaker 1: having them face him, I think that's smart. So I
- 57:20Speaker 1: give I give Civil War two a little credit, a
- 57:22Speaker 1: little fun. And I'm still pissed that I haven't seen
- 57:25Speaker 1: Luisius Ulusius in a while, Like where's he been? It's
- 57:29Speaker 1: been almost ten years and that bitch has not shown up.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Where you at? Where you at? Like I want to
- 57:36Speaker 1: see where'd you go? Like with the Phoenix story that's
- 57:41Speaker 1: been going on, you meet the other cosmic entities. He's
- 57:43Speaker 1: not there. Where is he? Hello? Hello? Where are you?
- 57:53Speaker 2: Okay?
- 57:55Speaker 1: And of course Captain Hydra or the c evilca of
- 57:58Speaker 1: Roger does come back after Secret Empire, he comes back.
- 58:03Speaker 1: He's not I don't think he doesn't die in Secret
- 58:07Speaker 1: Empire or people. I guess he thought they did. But
- 58:09Speaker 1: he comes back in the Coca and Age. He's Captain Kirca.
- 58:15Speaker 1: At the end of the during the Fall of X
- 58:16Speaker 1: storyline where Captain Kracoa's go around killing people and shit,
- 58:20Speaker 1: that was this evil Seve Rogers. He took the suit
- 58:25Speaker 1: and posed himself as Captain Captain Kcoa deter to make
- 58:29Speaker 1: the X Men look bad and make the Mutants look bad,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and I'm just like, ooh, you motherfucker. We're like his
- 58:35Speaker 1: secret identity and I'm like, I bet you fucking ten bucks.
- 58:37Speaker 1: That's goddamn evil. Steve Rogers. Watch it was it was.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I was like I called it. I knew it. I
- 58:44Speaker 1: knew that bitch wasn't dead. I knew that bitch wasn't gone. Mmm,
- 58:50Speaker 1: that's a WLD War two. They're Nutchell. Basically any human
- 58:55Speaker 1: I could see the future, possible future, possible futures. Cara
- 58:59Speaker 1: wanted to utilize it. Tony's like, we need to take
- 59:02Speaker 1: this with a grand assault. They fight, Steve gets sucked up,
- 59:07Speaker 1: the Ultimates get involved, the Guardians of the Galaxy get involved,
- 59:10Speaker 1: She'll gets involved, the government gets involved, all that fun
- 59:12Speaker 1: stuff and it blows up in their face. And now
- 59:15Speaker 1: Carol is one of the most hated super heroes in
- 59:19Speaker 1: the world, in their world as well as outside in
- 59:21Speaker 1: our world because people heye, Captain Marble, I love her,
- 59:25Speaker 1: because I love my girly. You know, I will always
- 59:28Speaker 1: stand by my girly, always stand by her, even during
- 59:32Speaker 1: her bad times. My girl, you know with that Civil
- 59:34Speaker 1: war too, though that might have been your best moment.
- 59:38Speaker 1: But you were serving cut but you weren't. You didn't eat.
- 59:41Speaker 1: You kind of made the problem worse. Bab love you, Carol,
- 59:45Speaker 1: will always love you still. You're kind of you made
- 59:48Speaker 1: it worse. You didn't help. No, no, no, Tony didn't
- 59:57Speaker 1: help either. Everything was everyone did stuff wrong on both side.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: It comes to that. I'm sorry, Iron Man, Tony should
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: not kidnapp ulysses. Do you want an internet and intergalactic
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: war between and humans and humanity? I don't think so.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Hello what but do you say we'll fuck you up
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: or black Bolt will fuck you up?
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: No, No, that's not it either, babes, it's not either. Again,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: they just have a conversation, conversation with a fix those
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: whole thing. But no, they didn't because these people are
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: hot headed and they think they're all that and they
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: know everything. That's superheroes for you. That's smart people for
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: at least with Tony. And then Carol's love her, but
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: she's full of herself a little bit, A little.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Bit, yeah, I mean, I like the idea of Carol Danvers.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I like like a power set and I like like
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: there was a they were going somewhere with her, but
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: as a character, like I just don't like her as
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: a person. I don't like her. You know, she's too
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: at least in the Marvel, In the Marvel cinmachis at
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: universe they've made and the answer to you, they've made
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: her too much into a into a Mary suit. You know.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: She she doesn't really struggle when she fights. When she's
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: fighting her bad guys, there's like no struggle. It's like
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: she comes in, whoop's ass, and then it's like like
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: the only struggle is like her dealing with the consequences
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: of her actions, like oh maybe I looked too much ass.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I mean that's kind of like that in the comics too,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: because she doesn't really she only struggles with like a
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: few characters like obviously Fanos. She struggles with Avi, but
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: like some of these other ones, she doesn't really struggle
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: that often. It's more so of like did that go
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: too far?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Like did that punch? This got too hard?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Did I did I open my mouth and ran a
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: lot little bit too much? And she's more self conscious
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: by herself and shit too and I mean I can
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I will admit when my home, when my girls got
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: some problems, because girls, she's got some problems, she sure do.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: And right now in the comics, they have the X
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Men line, there's the Revelation storyline that's going on right
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: now where it's in the future with Doug becoming taking
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: on the mantle of Revelation and he's spread a X
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: virus on the United States and people are turning to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: mutants or dying, and he has his own territory in
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: the Northeast. And one of the storylines is with gene
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Genes disappear or sacrifices herself to try to protect the
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: universe from the X virus, so she ends up giving
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the Phoenix Force to Carol. Carol becomes binary with the
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Phoenix Force and her job is to protect the world
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: from the X virus, but she ends up protecting a
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: town her hometown instead. It's cool, it's fun. I kind
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: of dig the whole Carol X and Jean Gray because
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: they have a very long relation of friendship too. That's
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: why I hopeful when they bring in the X Men.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I want to see Carol with the X Men. I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: want to see Carol with Rogue. I want that storyline.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I want freaking Jean and Carol to be friends like
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: they are in the comics. Like I want that relationship
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: between Carol and the X Men, which I'm hoping and
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: they do, because how else you're gonna give Rogue flying
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: her ability to fly? She gets it from Carol. They're
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: putting Carol in a coma, almost killing her, and part
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: of her psyche goes into Rogue's head, so she's like
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: a weird shows. So Carol is in Rogue's body, kind
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: of like two persons, two people, one body, because she
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: absorbs part of her personality and ship too. So Rogue
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: and Carol have a very weird relationship. They like each other,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: but at the same time they're like mm hmm, hey girl,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: love your girl, and then they move on.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Love your girl. Is your mom still a bitch? Oh yeah, Rogue,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: your mom still a bitch, great, tell her, tell her
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: to go fuck herself. If you don't know what I'm
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: talking about, I'm talking about Mystique, y'all listeners, Mystique love her.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: That's a bitch. That's a bitch. But that big serves cut,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: especially in the movies with the fact they brought back
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: the original actress to play her and Doomsday. I bear
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Sie Flips is done. I better see full blue. She
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: needs to eat Mamastique.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Yeah. I wonder if they're gonna like give her that
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: original design like uh, you know, she's just basically running
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: around practically naked, or.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: If I want Yeah, I want either the original like
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: suit where it's just her in scales, or a mix
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: of that with the actual look that Mestique has in
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the comic, the white look. I want. I want either
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: one of that, both of that, or a mix of that,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: because that's like Mosique is icon. Love her. She's psychotic,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: She's sure like Holmes, she's psychotic, but I love her
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: bringing her wife. I need Destin, I need Irene Adler
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: bring her in. That's a real bitch. I could see
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the future worry about.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah. She she has a similar ability to Lissie's, except
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: hers is always stronger.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Steve Rogers was lucky she wasn't around because
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: by this point, Destiny has been dead for quite some time,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: so he didn't have to worry about Destiny. If Destiny
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: came back and he was running around doing a mug,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: she'd be like, mmm, baby, see kill kill Rogers. Kill Rogers,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: kill Rogers, because that wouldn't be a much bigger problem.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: If Destiny was around, that bitch would clocks his ass
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: or try to clock in on getting something for her
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: out of it, or some shit. I don't know. Testey's
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Destiny's Destney and Mystique are a problematic lesbian couple who
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I love and a door and they're evil in the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: sense that they want to protect their own and that's
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: about it. They don't give a shit about anyone else.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: And the fact that Destiny is Night Coroller's mother and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Mystique is Night Coroller's father, I love that canonized or
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: finally they're finally a family. Now I'm just going on
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: ranting about Marvel. Look what y'all maybe do, Look what
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: y'all maybe me do? Go read it, Go read Civil
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: War two. It's fun. The fun one if you want,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: if you're bored and you want to read something. I've
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: been utilizing freaking Marvel Unlimited. I've been paying for that monthly.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Now it's so good. All the old you can read
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: all the old events and stuff in the past couple
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: of years, and new comics are coming out, end up
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: on there and read them all digitally, and I'm like, oh, yes,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: take my money, Marvel, take it. So but yeah, that's
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: today's episode. Catch us next time after we talk about
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: something else. Until then, A
