US-68 Closure for New Bridge | Dayton News
U.S. Route 68 is shutting down for six days, starting Monday, August 24th, to build a new pedestrian bridge at Great Council State Park — part of a major shared-use path project. The closure runs from 8 a.m. south of Bush Row Road through Saturday, August 29th, with detours via SR 34-3, SR 72, and US 42. Construction is on track to finish the main phase by late October or early November, with full completion expected in early summer 2027. Drivers, be prepared for detours next week.
