- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Fat is tough.
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Fat isn't easy.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: And I know that you're probably one of those, if you have been fat for a while, you're probably tired of it.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: And you're also tired about how difficult it is to try to lose it.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Folks, the body doesn't really want to change from where it currently is.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: And if you're overfeeding it and you're putting on subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, just body fat in general, and you've worked up a surplus of that fat, to get it off becomes a little difficult because typically it's not we're going up five pounds and then immediately attack it and reduce those five pounds.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: It's that we sit and we become comfortable.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Five pounds turns into 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 40.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden you're thinking, geez, I can't believe I let myself get this far out of whack.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: It's time to attack it.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: By that time, you've been sitting at that fatness for quite a while, and the body's very comfortable.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: It doesn't want to make any movements from that particular level.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: So then you might be talking to a friend and they say, hey, I tried this weight loss drug and it was fantastic.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: It cut my appetite down to almost nothing.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Again, that is something you can look at, and I do definitely recommend at least taking a look, but get a couple different views from people that have medical backgrounds as to whether you should or not.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Now I understand, I know that I went to a doctor.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I was talking in the very beginning after I had torched off a lot of the body fat because previously to that I had started testosterone therapy because my hormone level with regard to testosterone was incredibly low.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I was tired all the time, didn't have any motivation, the gym time sucked, it was just horrible.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: So I went to a doctor, they ran my blood work, did all my tests, and recommended that I start testosterone therapy.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: So thereby I did that.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Several months later, I used a lot of fasting.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: I torched off a lot of fat.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And then going back to a different doctor to get a general checkup, he had nothing but problems.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: But I said, Doc, I was 365 pounds.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I had a 65-inch waist.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: I was breathing heavy all the time.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I had high blood pressure.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: I was on drugs.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: I was taking statins, high blood pressure medication.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I was pre-diabetic to the point of very, very close to needing insulin and the triglycerides in my blood were through the roof.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I was Doc a walking heart attack.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: He said, testosterone, it's pitch shown to cause this and this.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And I said, Well, fair enough.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Show me where that is.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: But because I chiseled off all that fat, got rid of all that visceral fat with the choking out my organs.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Are you telling me that I would have been better off trying to lose the fat as I had all this time without fasting and without starting getting my hormones in gear?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: And believe it or not, he said yes.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Don't know what to tell you.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: My story, my story's different than most.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Do your research.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Talk to some good doctors.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: I'll see you in the next one.
