- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know?
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, Happy Thursday. We are racing through this week.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It feels good.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 4: A Narcan vending machine has opened at a twice daily
- 0:11Speaker 4: convenience store in midtown Nashville. So this initiative is led
- 0:14Speaker 4: by Fund Recovery and nonprofit that focuses on recovery and
- 0:17Speaker 4: mental health.
- 0:18Speaker 5: They've stopped the vending machine with Narcan this.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Week and it's available at the twice Daily located at
- 0:23Speaker 4: seventeen oh two West End Avenue. It's entirely free to
- 0:26Speaker 4: anyone who needs it, or anyone who wants to carry
- 0:28Speaker 4: it with them in case someone else may need it
- 0:31Speaker 4: around them. People often carry them to festivals and shows
- 0:34Speaker 4: just in case, because obviously it's better to be safe
- 0:37Speaker 4: than sorry. So if you want to go ahead and
- 0:39Speaker 4: grab yourself one, like I said at the twice Daily
- 0:41Speaker 4: at seventeen oh two.
- 0:42Speaker 5: West End Avenue.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Singer Lord has officially announced her new single is coming.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Do we have audio on here?
- 0:49Speaker 6: Oh?
- 0:49Speaker 3: I'm not sure, I'll check.
- 0:50Speaker 4: What you keep talking So no word on when she
- 0:53Speaker 4: plans to release it, but we do know that it's
- 0:56Speaker 4: called what was That Foundad?
- 0:58Speaker 7: Here? We go seven, I gave you everything.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Now we wake up from a stream?
- 1:04Speaker 8: Well, baby, what boast that?
- 1:14Speaker 4: So that was a clip that she'd shared on her
- 1:16Speaker 4: newly made TikTok. So you have a little idea of
- 1:19Speaker 4: what it sounds like, a little bit what the vibe
- 1:21Speaker 4: Lord is going for in this time around. Obviously it's
- 1:24Speaker 4: been a while since we've gotten any new music from Lord,
- 1:26Speaker 4: so it's a big deal. I will let you know
- 1:28Speaker 4: when it actually comes out. And Oreos have announced a
- 1:31Speaker 4: new limited drop, but there's a catch, because you know, like.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Anything that's limited edition, there's typically a catch.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Cherry Blossom Macha thins are coming to the US in
- 1:42Speaker 4: small batches. They're thin cookies sandwiched with half Matcha flavored
- 1:46Speaker 4: cream and half cherry blossom flavor.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Good and it looks good too.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Like for whatever reason, I think because after Wicked, the
- 1:53Speaker 4: green and pink thing just vibes. They're only making a
- 1:57Speaker 4: thousand packs, so the only way for you to yet
- 2:00Speaker 4: one is to win them in a drawing. You can
- 2:02Speaker 4: register for them at oreo dot com. If you win,
- 2:05Speaker 4: you do have to pay thirteen dollars in shipping for
- 2:07Speaker 4: the pack, but the pack is free and you actually
- 2:09Speaker 4: get your hands on something that nobody else can.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:13Speaker 5: need to know.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky, and thank you for starting
- 2:17Speaker 2: your Thursday morning with us. We have more Momoa Safestival
- 2:20Speaker 2: passes on the way less than ten minutes.
- 2:22Speaker 3: We'll ask you to call to win those right here
- 2:25Speaker 3: on the.
- 2:25Speaker 1: River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 2:29Speaker 3: George in Nashville, how you doing great.
- 2:32Speaker 9: I'm on my way to walk in May nineteenth, my
- 2:35Speaker 9: husband's birthday.
- 2:36Speaker 5: What then, this is perfect? This is like kismet.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I know you're the first caller of the day, one
- 2:42Speaker 4: of seven, five of the river. George, you're getting tickets
- 2:44Speaker 4: to go to Mamosa Festival.
- 2:46Speaker 8: Who doesn't love Mimosa?
- 2:48Speaker 3: We all do, don't we.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I mean traditional would be, you know, champagne and a
- 2:51Speaker 2: little orange juice. But I mean I like to switch
- 2:53Speaker 2: it up every once when I'll put a different kind.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Of juice in there, or something I like grapefruit, greatefruit. Okay,
- 2:58Speaker 3: you have a preference, George.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Peach nectar?
- 3:01Speaker 8: Oh that sounds fancy.
- 3:03Speaker 3: What's a bellini? Is that something peachy?
- 3:06Speaker 5: I think it's peachy.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I don't actually know Peach Bellini. Okay, I'm sure they'll
- 3:11Speaker 2: have something like that there, Mimosa.
- 3:12Speaker 9: Fest, kat Waitne guys, love.
- 3:14Speaker 3: You, Love you buddy. What what's the day looking like
- 3:16Speaker 3: for you? You're any way to work?
- 3:18Speaker 9: I'm no way to work and join the sunset.
- 3:20Speaker 5: What do you do for work, George?
- 3:22Speaker 9: I'm a caterer for university here in Middle Tennessee.
- 3:25Speaker 8: Okay, I mean you know how to cook?
- 3:28Speaker 9: I do bro Oh, we.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Got a chef in the house. George. Did you ever
- 3:34Speaker 3: watch the show Party Down?
- 3:35Speaker 9: No? Was it like from your error?
- 3:38Speaker 10: No?
- 3:39Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 3:40Speaker 7: No?
- 3:41Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Maybe fifteen years ago. It's a comedy. Adam Scott is
- 3:44Speaker 2: in it. A bunch of people are in it, and
- 3:46Speaker 2: it's about a catering, like a group of caterers, and
- 3:49Speaker 2: it's a great show.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I feel like working in that space. You should watch
- 3:51Speaker 3: the show. It's very good.
- 3:52Speaker 9: Did they feature cater waiters?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I did see.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Okay, then it didn't leave a mark on You're not
- 3:58Speaker 3: memorable at all?
- 4:03Speaker 5: Well, George, we hope you have a great day. Thank
- 4:05Speaker 5: you for starting your morning.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You.
- 4:07Speaker 9: I love you, guys, I do every morning.
- 4:09Speaker 5: We love you.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 4:11Speaker 2: We have more tomorrow, last chance of the week to
- 4:14Speaker 2: get in my mosta festival past the same time tomorrow.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Kevin's known for his dad jokes.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Whether they're good ones are bad ones, He's known for them. Yeah,
- 4:24Speaker 4: and typically your kids really love them, like they kind
- 4:26Speaker 4: of go along with all.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Your dad jokes.
- 4:28Speaker 2: My kids think I'm funny, which is I I love
- 4:30Speaker 2: that that it's a real feather in my cat. But
- 4:32Speaker 2: I told them a joke. I made it up on
- 4:34Speaker 2: the spot yesterday. They did not find funny. I want
- 4:37Speaker 2: to run it bout you guys because I think it's good.
- 4:39Speaker 8: Oh, okay, do you want us to be honest?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you're I mean, if you guys ever not been
- 4:45Speaker 3: honest with you.
- 4:46Speaker 4: That's true the possible downfall of Kevin.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, right after Racy Abrams, I'll tell you this joke
- 4:52Speaker 2: and you guys give me your honest review.
- 4:54Speaker 1: On the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 4:58Speaker 5: River about to get real honest with heaven right now.
- 5:01Speaker 4: It's Rickie Zacamano in the Morning on one of seven
- 5:03Speaker 4: five the River. Kevin's dad jokes are apparently slacking. Your
- 5:07Speaker 4: kids aren't laughing at him.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I feel like I built this one up too much.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Really nervous.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Okay, So I recently told my son Riley the joke.
- 5:14Speaker 2: It's a class that I'm sure you guys have heard it.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Why was six afraid of seven?
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 5:19Speaker 8: Seven eight nine?
- 5:20Speaker 3: Because seven eight nine? My son is six years old.
- 5:23Speaker 3: He loved that. He lost that was the best thing
- 5:25Speaker 3: you'd ever heard.
- 5:26Speaker 2: So I told him that recently, and then yesterday he
- 5:28Speaker 2: retold that joke to my daughter, to his sister. You know,
- 5:32Speaker 2: we all had a good laugh about that joke. And
- 5:34Speaker 2: then I on the spot, I came up with this,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and I thought it was funny. Nobody else laughed. But
- 5:37Speaker 2: why was two afraid of three?
- 5:40Speaker 5: Why?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Because three always had a knife with him.
- 5:47Speaker 3: That it's a little disarmoring to the rest of the numbers.
- 5:50Speaker 5: You put a lot of thought and effort into that.
- 5:52Speaker 11: Huh, hey, man, drop the knife. Be cool three. I'm
- 5:55Speaker 11: really confused, Be cool three? Where did the knife come from?
- 6:00Speaker 5: Worming?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Right now?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Is the funny part of this entire.
- 6:04Speaker 3: No need to have a knife.
- 6:05Speaker 8: Where is the knife?
- 6:07Speaker 3: That's why he's scary? Why do you not? Why did
- 6:09Speaker 3: nobody understand this joke. You guys to me, it's very funny.
- 6:12Speaker 8: I still don't understand what you're trying to say.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Is it the thought of three holy a knife?
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's yeah, because you.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Think your brain thinks i'ming to go in a direction
- 6:20Speaker 2: like the other joke, like a numeracle sort of play
- 6:22Speaker 2: on words or something.
- 6:23Speaker 3: But no, he's just got a knife.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Like I said, are you squirming and you thinking it's
- 6:30Speaker 4: funny when it's not funny?
- 6:32Speaker 10: Oh?
- 6:32Speaker 5: Man, nobody thought it was funny.
- 6:34Speaker 3: No, just me included.
- 6:38Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, it's not like your underlying thing where three
- 6:41Speaker 11: relates to knives. No, okay, So I'm not missing anything, Okay,
- 6:46Speaker 11: I I thought I was just missing it's just a
- 6:48Speaker 11: bad joke.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I think it's just maybe over your head. So just
- 6:50Speaker 3: like a little high brows.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Sure, is there a workshop for dad jokes that you
- 6:54Speaker 5: could go to?
- 6:54Speaker 2: My friend you're getting bad genuinely truly keeps sending me stuff.
- 6:58Speaker 2: He wants the two of us to go. Do you
- 7:00Speaker 2: stand up in an open mic night somewhere?
- 7:02Speaker 3: So that might be I.
- 7:03Speaker 11: Would be there in the front row support called dad jokes.
- 7:07Speaker 3: It probably would be. We're both dads and we have
- 7:10Speaker 3: bad jokes.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Okay, thank you guys for being in a couple of
- 7:14Speaker 2: good friends here and on a sounding board for me
- 7:16Speaker 2: to bounce these things off.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I appreciate it. Yeah, no prob So that one's we'll
- 7:19Speaker 3: cross that one off list. That one's out.
- 7:21Speaker 5: Three things you need to.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Know bit past seven o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thanks
- 7:25Speaker 2: for being here. Ricky's got those three things.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Times one hundred most influential People's list is out. On
- 7:31Speaker 4: the list are people like Ed Sheeron, Giselle Pelicott, known
- 7:35Speaker 4: for a decision against staying anonymous inter sexual assault trial
- 7:38Speaker 4: against hundreds of men.
- 7:40Speaker 5: You should look her up.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Simone Biles, Miles Smith, who we have tickets to go see,
- 7:46Speaker 4: Snoop Dogg, Nikki Glazer, and so many more.
- 7:49Speaker 5: There were obviously one hundred on there.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I can't list them all, but the full list in
- 7:52Speaker 4: categories of people.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Is up on times a website. You could check it out.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Each one of them has a.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Little blurb about them, and it's written by someone else
- 8:00Speaker 4: who knows them who's also famous, so it's actually really
- 8:03Speaker 4: cool to see what everybody thinks about each other as well.
- 8:06Speaker 5: You could look it up right on their website.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Gail King has a lot to say about those hating
- 8:11Speaker 4: on her trip to orbit with SpaceX. Her and five
- 8:14Speaker 4: other women took the eleven minute round trip from Earth
- 8:17Speaker 4: to orbit and.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Then back this week.
- 8:19Speaker 4: People have a lot of thoughts about it, most of
- 8:21Speaker 4: which are negative thoughts.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Yeah, she's not having it though.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Apparently here she is making points for why her space
- 8:29Speaker 4: flight quote unquote was positive.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Space is not an either or, it's a both and.
- 8:35Speaker 10: And because you do something in space doesn't mean you're
- 8:37Speaker 10: taking anything away from Earth. And what you're doing in
- 8:40Speaker 10: space is trying to make things better here on Earth.
- 8:42Speaker 10: What Blue Origin wants to do is take the waste
- 8:44Speaker 10: here and figure out a way to put it in
- 8:46Speaker 10: space to make our planet cleaner. Number two, have you been.
- 8:49Speaker 10: If you've been and you still feel that way after
- 8:51Speaker 10: you come back, please let's have a conversation. Number three,
- 8:54Speaker 10: Please don't call it a ride. That is not a
- 8:57Speaker 10: friggin ride. Whenever a man goes up you have never
- 8:59Speaker 10: set to an astronaut, boy, what a ride? You know?
- 9:02Speaker 10: We duplicated the same trajectory that Alan Sheppard did back
- 9:05Speaker 10: in the day. No one called that a ride. It
- 9:07Speaker 10: was called a flight. It was called a journey because
- 9:10Speaker 10: a right a ride implies that it's something frivolous or
- 9:12Speaker 10: something that's lighthearted. There was nothing frivolous about what we did.
- 9:16Speaker 10: I've had so many women and young girls reach out
- 9:19Speaker 10: to me, and men too, by the way, men too
- 9:21Speaker 10: that say, wow, I never thought I could do that,
- 9:23Speaker 10: but I see you doing it at this stage of
- 9:25Speaker 10: my life.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Who it costs so much money to do that ride
- 9:29Speaker 4: into orbit that I don't know if you could say
- 9:32Speaker 4: it's not frivolous.
- 9:33Speaker 3: There was nothing frivolous about.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Apparently, I don't know.
- 9:38Speaker 4: This is insane though obviously they're all trying to fight
- 9:41Speaker 4: for and say that it was I guess they believe
- 9:44Speaker 4: their astronauts.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:46Speaker 4: It's a lot, but Gail King is sticking to it,
- 9:49Speaker 4: saying that she did something good for The Eary Pilgrimage.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Festival has announced their lineup. This is fun stuff.
- 9:56Speaker 4: John may Or, Kings, Leon Turnpike, Troubadour is Young, The
- 9:59Speaker 4: Giant Father, John Misty, Sam Fender and so.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Many more are going to perform this year.
- 10:03Speaker 4: The local festivals happening September twenty seventh to the twenty
- 10:06Speaker 4: eighth at the Park at Harlansdale Farm. Obviously, we love
- 10:11Speaker 4: Pilgrimage Festival here on one O seven five the River.
- 10:14Speaker 5: The fact that John Mayer is going to be there
- 10:16Speaker 5: this year, Yeah, amazing. I'm so hyped about that. I'm
- 10:19Speaker 5: Rickie Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 10:21Speaker 5: to know.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Let's play Chapel Roan right after Pink Pony Club.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Zach is ready, he's got a fact, Zach Spax.
- 10:28Speaker 2: We're gonna learn together next one O seven five the River, Heiky, Zach.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Zach has already prepped us by saying that we're going
- 10:35Speaker 4: to be thinking about this all day long. It's Zack
- 10:38Speaker 4: spack'x on one O seven five the River.
- 10:40Speaker 11: You guys just literally blew my mind. Every odd number
- 10:43Speaker 11: has a letter E in it. Really, I love that, Kevin,
- 10:48Speaker 11: that was fake enthusiasm.
- 10:49Speaker 3: No, No, I genuinely love that. I'm excited about that.
- 10:52Speaker 5: I'm going through all the numbers in my head.
- 10:54Speaker 8: Yeah, every odd number has an E in it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Well, the fact that one, three, five, seven, and nine
- 10:59Speaker 2: all have hold on eleven and eleven it's a different number.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But then after that, thirteen, fourteen, fourteen, I'm sure circuiting fourteen.
- 11:12Speaker 5: This did blow his mind.
- 11:13Speaker 3: It works.
- 11:14Speaker 8: Welcome.
- 11:14Speaker 1: There's your fact of the day, Ricky zach and Man
- 11:17Speaker 1: in the Morning.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Five the River Sam Neil the actor.
- 11:22Speaker 2: He posted a video online saying I don't even know
- 11:25Speaker 2: why he was talking about this, but that he will
- 11:27Speaker 2: never in his life use a self checkout thing at
- 11:29Speaker 2: a grocery store. He's never gonna scan the items himself.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And he said he's gonna die on that hill. He
- 11:34Speaker 2: knows he's old school, but he's never gonna use and that.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Really riled Kevin up.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Because one thing you need to know about Kevin Mano
- 11:40Speaker 4: is that he loves the grocery store.
- 11:42Speaker 2: And I love the self checkout because you don't have
- 11:44Speaker 2: to talk to anybody. You can be fast, nobody has
- 11:47Speaker 2: to look at your items, like there's the listen.
- 11:49Speaker 8: List buying that you don't want people to look at.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I just don't like when they comment on anything. They
- 11:54Speaker 2: asked me, oh these good, Oh what's this?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Oh this? I'd like to just.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Leave my stuff alone.
- 11:59Speaker 4: You're The question here, though, is one that we you know,
- 12:04Speaker 4: we talk about quite often because I think it comes
- 12:05Speaker 4: up in conversation. But do you avoid the self checkout
- 12:08Speaker 4: at grocery at the grocery store or do you like
- 12:11Speaker 4: to go to the person and have them check everything
- 12:14Speaker 4: out for you?
- 12:15Speaker 8: I've got a strong opinion six.
- 12:16Speaker 4: One five, seven through seven, nine one oh seven. Let
- 12:19Speaker 4: us know how you feel about this?
- 12:20Speaker 5: Is Kevin insane?
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yes? Regarding this specific topic, is this question? Do you
- 12:27Speaker 3: use them to not use them? That's our question?
- 12:30Speaker 1: The river Heiky, Zach and Mano.
- 12:33Speaker 4: In the morning, Lucy in Nashville, do you like to
- 12:35Speaker 4: use the self checkout at the grocery store?
- 12:37Speaker 5: Do you go to the person and have them check
- 12:39Speaker 5: you out?
- 12:40Speaker 12: Whenever I go to the grocery stores, I got to
- 12:42Speaker 12: get for the week. See, always gets to self checkout.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Okay, your dad is like me? Then how old.
- 12:50Speaker 12: Are you again, Lucy, I'm thirteen?
- 12:52Speaker 5: You're thirteen? Okay? So what if you have to buy something?
- 12:55Speaker 4: Do you go to the self checkout or do you
- 12:57Speaker 4: go to the person and have them ringing?
- 12:58Speaker 12: Yes, I always get this, they'll check out like my dad.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Okay, okay, just like dad, just like Kevin.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yep, you're cut from some solid cloth there, Lucy, thank
- 13:08Speaker 2: you for calling.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Thank you, have a good day.
- 13:10Speaker 10: Love.
- 13:11Speaker 2: What I don't like is when I met the self
- 13:13Speaker 2: checkout and then like for some reason, they're like, oh,
- 13:15Speaker 2: an attendant is on the way, and then to stand
- 13:17Speaker 2: there and wait for a person.
- 13:18Speaker 3: I just want to run out the door. I just
- 13:20Speaker 3: want to abandon all my groceries.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Mind blown by this entire thought process that you have, Brandon.
- 13:28Speaker 3: And Nashville will do one more. Right, now, what do
- 13:30Speaker 3: you do?
- 13:31Speaker 9: Well? I did like to self check out and tell
- 13:34Speaker 9: something really drastic happened to me about two weeks ago.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Oh no, Brandon tell us, well, uh, my mom's handicap,
- 13:42Speaker 2: so she knows she rides round one in buggies, so
- 13:45Speaker 2: I follow her with a regular car.
- 13:47Speaker 9: So we had almost two fool bullet buggies full of groceries.
- 13:52Speaker 9: There wasn't a single regular checkout open because they were understaff,
- 13:56Speaker 9: So it took me like an hour to ring all
- 13:59Speaker 9: that stuff some self checkout and bag it up. So
- 14:03Speaker 9: I mean, it's good and convenient when you got something
- 14:06Speaker 9: small and you're in a hurry, but when you got
- 14:08Speaker 9: two cars.
- 14:09Speaker 3: No, I totally get that.
- 14:12Speaker 2: If you have that much stuff, you need to go
- 14:13Speaker 2: to a regular, regular person, And that's a bummer.
- 14:17Speaker 3: They just had none working. That's crazy.
- 14:19Speaker 9: Yeah, I was surprised they didn't even have one single
- 14:22Speaker 9: checkout open as ever understaff.
- 14:25Speaker 4: That's a bummer, Brandon, So yeah, and that was a broker.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I had a Kroger too. Yeah, that makes no sense
- 14:31Speaker 4: to me.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Too bad. All right, Well, thank you for calling with
- 14:33Speaker 3: that man. That makes sense.
- 14:34Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You're welcome, And I do get, you know, the human
- 14:37Speaker 2: element of it. I don't want to just deploy the
- 14:39Speaker 2: human part of it.
- 14:40Speaker 4: The only time I go to self checkout is if
- 14:42Speaker 4: I have maybe five items or something like that, I'll
- 14:45Speaker 4: go to self checkout.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Outside of that, I want the human interaction. I like it.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I don't.
- 14:50Speaker 5: They're always so sweet to me though.
- 14:52Speaker 4: All the people that are checking out my stuff, they
- 14:53Speaker 4: always just like, are nice and happy and excited to
- 14:56Speaker 4: be there.
- 14:57Speaker 5: It makes me happy.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, convincing me of anything.
- 15:04Speaker 13: Where do you stand seven Nicky Zach and the morning
- 15:09Speaker 13: when you go to the grocery store, do you avoid
- 15:11Speaker 13: the self checkout or do you avoid the person that's
- 15:15Speaker 13: checking people out?
- 15:16Speaker 4: It's one of seven five the River, Ashley from Murphysboro.
- 15:20Speaker 4: You had your kids, Haley and Ellie in the car before,
- 15:23Speaker 4: so shout out to them.
- 15:24Speaker 5: But what were your thoughts on this.
- 15:26Speaker 6: I actually it depends on how big of a hurry
- 15:29Speaker 6: I'm in. So if I am in a super big hurry,
- 15:33Speaker 6: I trying to pick the shortest line. If I have
- 15:36Speaker 6: just a few items, then I go to the self checkout,
- 15:39Speaker 6: But if I have a lot, then I have to
- 15:40Speaker 6: go to the cast resist And if my kids hate,
- 15:43Speaker 6: which they are, they just got dropped off at school,
- 15:46Speaker 6: they're gonna be really bombed. But they they like the
- 15:49Speaker 6: self checkout, which is always a situation when you.
- 15:52Speaker 11: Have It's fun for the kiddos to be able to
- 15:54Speaker 11: like scan their groceries.
- 15:56Speaker 5: It's a fun thing for the parents, though.
- 15:59Speaker 6: No, no, because then they start arguing about how many
- 16:01Speaker 6: items one stand and then it's a whole big fat Okay.
- 16:05Speaker 11: I have a serious question for you, though, because every
- 16:07Speaker 11: time I got through the self checkout, I feel like
- 16:09Speaker 11: I should get a discount on groceries. Like they're not
- 16:11Speaker 11: paying a cashier or a bad person to do this.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I'm doing their job.
- 16:15Speaker 11: You're working that I should get a discount, like give
- 16:17Speaker 11: me ten percent off if I use the self checkout.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Well, you kind of chose to use the self checkout though, right.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Very true?
- 16:24Speaker 8: Well, kind of.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I will say.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I was thinking, I think a lot of people are
- 16:29Speaker 2: giving them self ten percent off of the self checkout,
- 16:31Speaker 2: which we do not do.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But that is a problem.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I can understand that. I get it.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I'm with Ashley, though, you picked to do the self checkout.
- 16:39Speaker 5: That's on you, Boo.
- 16:40Speaker 11: Well the other because there's only one cash here with
- 16:43Speaker 11: thirteen thousand people in.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Line, you still picked it.
- 16:47Speaker 11: It's my only option to get out of there in
- 16:49Speaker 11: the year of twenty twenty five was to go through
- 16:51Speaker 11: them self checkout.
- 16:54Speaker 6: You know what I can't stand is when you're in
- 16:56Speaker 6: the biggest hurry and you get behind the slowest person
- 17:00Speaker 6: that's getting like to change.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's my life. That is my entire life.
- 17:07Speaker 6: That happened to me yesterday.
- 17:09Speaker 11: It was a struggle and then they got to write
- 17:10Speaker 11: a check and c so dratic.
- 17:13Speaker 5: He's saying that's his entire life. But that's because if
- 17:15Speaker 5: you are not moving at the speed of light, you
- 17:18Speaker 5: are then too slow for Ketty.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I don't like to waste time. Yeah, get out of
- 17:21Speaker 3: my way, that's me, Ashley. Thank you for calling. Have
- 17:24Speaker 3: a great day.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Yeah, you too, have a good day, Kevin.
- 17:29Speaker 5: You're just anxiety ran in twenty four to seven.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I do think that's honestly what it all comes down to.
- 17:33Speaker 4: And you would think the grocery store would be your
- 17:35Speaker 4: happy place you're there every day.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Well it is.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It's like meditation. You don't want anybody talking to you
- 17:39Speaker 2: when you're meditating.
- 17:40Speaker 1: You know.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Okay, I get it now, that makes sense.
- 17:43Speaker 3: We have Miles Smith tickets for the Game of the day.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Can win those next down the River the River, Nicky Zach.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Morning or Smith.
- 17:52Speaker 4: That is the name of Kevin Mando's Game of the
- 17:54Speaker 4: Day on one oh seven five the River. The reason
- 17:56Speaker 4: we're playing Miles or Smith is because you could win
- 17:59Speaker 4: tickets to see Miles Smith about that at the Ryeman
- 18:02Speaker 4: on September sixteenth. It's a one off show. It's gonna
- 18:05Speaker 4: be fantastic. If you win, you will go.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Yes, good morning, Kelsey and Lebanon. How are you. I'm good,
- 18:12Speaker 3: We're great, We're great. You know how the game works?
- 18:15Speaker 1: I think so.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty self explanatory.
- 18:18Speaker 2: You have two categories Miles trivia questions based on Miles
- 18:22Speaker 2: or Smith trivia questions.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Those are your two categories. Which would you like.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Miles?
- 18:29Speaker 3: Are you sure.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Kevin's been waiting for someone to pick Smith. But if
- 18:36Speaker 5: you feel good about oh, you want to switch it up.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I don't want to pressure you Smith. You're going Smith.
- 18:41Speaker 5: She's saying, just do it all right.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I'm simply running out of Miles questions. So thank you. Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 2: let the record show. This is her choice. Kelsey chose this.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Your game starts right now. Two out of three of
- 18:54Speaker 2: these right, The tickets are years. What was Will Smith's
- 18:57Speaker 2: character's last name in The Fresh Prince of Leric? Oh,
- 19:06Speaker 2: hold on, hold on, I know.
- 19:12Speaker 11: Is it Smith?
- 19:14Speaker 9: Yes?
- 19:15Speaker 3: Name on the show was Will Smith.
- 19:18Speaker 13: I guess I didn't ever.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Actually that's okay, totally get that, because neither did I
- 19:23Speaker 4: until I played this.
- 19:24Speaker 3: You get this right?
- 19:25Speaker 2: You in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's relationship began when
- 19:29Speaker 2: they filmed What Movie Together?
- 19:32Speaker 11: Smith?
- 19:33Speaker 8: You Miles Smith.
- 19:37Speaker 3: It's a good thing you picked that Smith category.
- 19:39Speaker 12: People need to just pick Smith.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That was definitely you nailed it. You got them both right.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Great, John Kelsey, Congratulations, You're going to see Miles Smith
- 19:47Speaker 4: at the arrive in September sixteenth.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Owes, Thank you, guys, thank you for playing Miles or Smith.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Have a great day. To day and have fun at
- 19:53Speaker 3: that show.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Thank you all right, hang on three days, good morning,
- 19:59Speaker 2: Let's go scepter eight o'clock.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Actress Florence Pugh now holds a Guinness World Record for
- 20:05Speaker 4: jumping from the second tallest building. So while making the
- 20:09Speaker 4: Thunderbolts movie in Malaysia, she left off leapt off the
- 20:12Speaker 4: roof of the Merideca one eighteen, which is two thousand,
- 20:16Speaker 4: seven hundred and twenty two feet tall. Apparently, she convinced
- 20:20Speaker 4: the director to allow her to jump with the assistance
- 20:22Speaker 4: of her stunt.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Double because quote, it'll.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Do wonders for the press tour. She's right now, the
- 20:28Speaker 4: Thunderbolts press store is underway. Obviously, she's telling her story.
- 20:32Speaker 4: She said that the crazy insurance was kind of the
- 20:35Speaker 4: reason why producers were pushing back, but she stood her
- 20:38Speaker 4: ground until they agreed to let her do it. You
- 20:40Speaker 4: can watch her jump May second, when Thunderbolts is in theaters. Obviously,
- 20:45Speaker 4: right now is when the press tour is kicking off.
- 20:48Speaker 4: I haven't heard anything about this until now. So she
- 20:51Speaker 4: was right about the fact that he would do wonders.
- 20:54Speaker 4: So the press store. China founded e commerce sites like
- 20:58Speaker 4: Timu and she and are boosting.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Prices after tariff increases.
- 21:02Speaker 4: So the plan to raise prices starting next week on
- 21:04Speaker 4: April twenty fifth, as a direct response to President Trump's
- 21:07Speaker 4: hike in tariffs. Neither of them provided details about the
- 21:10Speaker 4: size of the increase, so we don't know what to
- 21:12Speaker 4: expect just yet.
- 21:14Speaker 5: Very interesting though.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Both of them have different owners, but they had almost
- 21:17Speaker 4: the same announcement about this, So it seems like it's
- 21:20Speaker 4: going to be something that's going to be more and
- 21:22Speaker 4: more frequent throughout China for the sites that we use.
- 21:27Speaker 4: The one hundred and forty five percent tariff that President
- 21:30Speaker 4: Trump placed on most products made in China, along with
- 21:33Speaker 4: his decision to end customs exemptions. It's going to be
- 21:38Speaker 4: quite an interesting thing to see how this all pans out.
- 21:41Speaker 4: So this is the first of what I think many
- 21:42Speaker 4: announcements in retaliation to these tariffs that are going to happen.
- 21:46Speaker 4: I'll keep you updated though. And night Light has announced
- 21:49Speaker 4: part of their schedule for their twenty one and up
- 21:51Speaker 4: movie nights.
- 21:52Speaker 5: These are so fun.
- 21:53Speaker 4: They happen to buy Centennial Capital Mall Park Amphitheater. They're
- 21:58Speaker 4: kicking off the first of the season with May twenty ninth,
- 22:01Speaker 4: How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, a classic
- 22:04Speaker 4: love that movie, and then they're showing four more movies
- 22:06Speaker 4: before they announce their part two of their season.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Season passes are now available on their website.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Eventually they start to do individual passes as well. I'm
- 22:14Speaker 4: just not sure if those are on sale just yet.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 22:19Speaker 4: need to know.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Nothing better than a movie outside, nice summer evening, food trucks, especially.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Now when it's cooler at and it's like nice to
- 22:26Speaker 4: be outside.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Sounds awesome.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Ricky zachon Mano in the Morning on what does.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Your Perfect day look Like?
- 22:35Speaker 4: It's Ricky Zacha Mano in the Morning on one oh
- 22:37Speaker 4: seven five the River. Researchers from the University of British
- 22:40Speaker 4: Columbia have determined what the perfect day looks like.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Do you guys want to hear what this sounds like?
- 22:45Speaker 13: Sure?
- 22:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Okay, So I'm only gonna give you a
- 22:48Speaker 4: few snippets of it.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:49Speaker 4: An hour and a half for socializing, Okay, two hours
- 22:54Speaker 4: for exercising. Yeah, no, less than fifteen minutes commuting two slash.
- 23:00Speaker 3: From work the way work is a part of this
- 23:02Speaker 3: perfect day.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Well, I mean you gotta have you have to work, Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 4: you know what I mean? A short six hour work
- 23:09Speaker 4: day though, Okay, I like the six hour work.
- 23:11Speaker 8: Day idea right along?
- 23:12Speaker 4: For an hour for TV, phone, tablet, computer time.
- 23:18Speaker 8: Well, only one episode of severance is an hour?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Boy, still get my phone in my hand all day long?
- 23:24Speaker 5: It see, I mean, yeah, you have it.
- 23:26Speaker 3: This is a nightmare. I don't like anything.
- 23:28Speaker 5: I want to hear the rest of it all. Run
- 23:29Speaker 5: through it real fast.
- 23:30Speaker 4: An hour for eating and drinking, two hours to hang
- 23:33Speaker 4: out with friends, six hours to spend with family.
- 23:36Speaker 5: That's the ideal perfect day.
- 23:38Speaker 11: Okay, that's like taking up a lot of hours. You
- 23:41Speaker 11: missed the nap in there.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Okay, your perfect day, it would be like six seven, three,
- 23:48Speaker 4: seven nine, one o seven. And then I want to
- 23:50Speaker 4: hear Kevin and Zach's perfect day as well.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Your perfect day? What does look like? Let us know?
- 23:55Speaker 1: One seven Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Talking about what the perfect day looks like.
- 24:01Speaker 4: There are researchers from the University of British Columbia that
- 24:04Speaker 4: have determined what they think the perfect day looks like.
- 24:06Speaker 4: But it may differ from everybody else's thoughts. It's Ricky
- 24:09Speaker 4: Zacamano in the morning on one oh seven five of
- 24:12Speaker 4: the River. We got Easton and Nashville on the line. Easton,
- 24:15Speaker 4: can you tell us what you think your perfect day
- 24:17Speaker 4: looks like?
- 24:18Speaker 12: So when I wake up, do you eat for like
- 24:22Speaker 12: two hours?
- 24:23Speaker 8: Whoa you want to eat for two hours?
- 24:26Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 24:26Speaker 12: You gotta go to a fancy restaurant. You gotta make
- 24:29Speaker 12: them do your stuff with you.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Okay, you can do your stuff for you. What's next?
- 24:34Speaker 12: And then after that you go to take a shower.
- 24:37Speaker 3: All right, I've worked up a good sweat at the restaurant, okay.
- 24:41Speaker 12: And then you go to the gym for six hours.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Six hours of the gym.
- 24:46Speaker 12: Yeah, you gotta do your sports and stuff.
- 24:48Speaker 5: What okay, go do your sports? Is that you ate
- 24:50Speaker 5: a lot? You were ready, you bulked up, you're ready
- 24:52Speaker 5: to go.
- 24:53Speaker 8: This sounds absolutely miserable.
- 24:56Speaker 12: And then go to work for thirty minutes and then
- 24:59Speaker 12: leave and then go to the movie.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Okay, see hour on boards. Thirty minutes for work sounds
- 25:06Speaker 4: ideal to me.
- 25:07Speaker 12: And then you spend two hours at the movie seat theater,
- 25:12Speaker 12: and then you came spent talents, family for two hours okay,
- 25:17Speaker 12: and then go to bed and have popcorn.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I love it in bed, popcorn and popcorn. Does it
- 25:23Speaker 3: get better?
- 25:24Speaker 5: Honestly?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Like, we were a little iffy about your perfect day
- 25:26Speaker 4: at first, Easton, but you sold me towards the end.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, Easton. And I think I mean doing
- 25:32Speaker 2: the mat In my head, I think that leaves like.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Twelve hours for sleep. Son.
- 25:37Speaker 4: So what this research said, though, was a lot of
- 25:39Speaker 4: different things that we don't necessarily agree with, Like two
- 25:43Speaker 4: hours for hanging out with friends on top of an
- 25:45Speaker 4: hour and a half of socializing is a lot of
- 25:48Speaker 4: just being out there. That's a lot lot On a
- 25:50Speaker 4: typical work day, only fifteen minutes for commute to and
- 25:53Speaker 4: from work.
- 25:54Speaker 5: It's just not possible.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I want time for activities like I want to go
- 25:57Speaker 2: bowling or I want to you know.
- 26:00Speaker 8: Part of the socializing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Oh it is, okay, that falls into that category thing.
- 26:03Speaker 2: So I like Eastern's idea of going to the movies.
- 26:06Speaker 1: The perfect day.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Okay, so you can take a nap, Zach, what does
- 26:12Speaker 4: your perfect day look like?
- 26:13Speaker 11: I would say, get a pedicure, go home and take
- 26:15Speaker 11: a nap, and then get up and go shopping.
- 26:17Speaker 5: No, work or anything like that.
- 26:19Speaker 8: No, absolutely not, Kevin.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Yours didn't have any work in it either, No work.
- 26:22Speaker 3: No work.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I think i'd probably trim Eastern six hours in the
- 26:27Speaker 2: gym down a little bit, but I want to exercise.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Okay, what do you have must have on your list?
- 26:32Speaker 4: Mine would be I like the idea of having a
- 26:35Speaker 4: nice meal like Eastern was onto something with that hour meal.
- 26:41Speaker 8: I don't know if it needs to be.
- 26:42Speaker 4: In the morning for breakfast, but I like the idea
- 26:44Speaker 4: of like a two hour nice meal. That sounds nice.
- 26:48Speaker 4: And I would definitely need a nap in there somewhere.
- 26:50Speaker 4: If I don't get a nap, I'm grumpy.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm like a little kid Ricky Zach in the morning.
- 26:57Speaker 4: The absolute pure joy that its Zoos from this daily
- 27:01Speaker 4: double tat that we're about to play you on one
- 27:03Speaker 4: of seven five the river is I.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Just can't even put into words.
- 27:06Speaker 4: This guy's so excited about learning this fact about otters
- 27:10Speaker 4: and it's the sweetest thing ever.
- 27:11Speaker 5: I watched this three times.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I haven't even heard I'm excited. I love it already.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 27:15Speaker 7: You know otters, Yeah, little cool looking otters. They like rocks,
- 27:23Speaker 7: and they like rocks. So much that when they find
- 27:26Speaker 7: a rock that they love so much that it's like
- 27:28Speaker 7: their favorite rock, they keep it in their little pocket,
- 27:31Speaker 7: in their skin skin pocket for life. They keep their
- 27:36Speaker 7: favorite rock in their skin pocket forever do They just
- 27:42Speaker 7: like show it to each other when they all meet
- 27:44Speaker 7: up for like the weekly Otter meeting. Are they like, yo,
- 27:48Speaker 7: let me see your favorite rock, And they're like, I'll
- 27:50Speaker 7: show you my favorite rock if you show be upa
- 27:52Speaker 7: iget that they're all like they meet weekly.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I think.
- 27:55Speaker 3: So it's cute, Like.
- 27:58Speaker 4: How adorable. He's so excited to learn this about Otters.
- 28:01Speaker 4: And the best part is that when you go into
- 28:03Speaker 4: the comment section, all these people are telling him new
- 28:06Speaker 4: facts and he's reacting to all the Otter facts.
- 28:08Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 28:09Speaker 5: It's the cutest thing I've ever seen on the Internet.
- 28:11Speaker 3: That's great. We'll put it up Today's daily double tab
- 28:14Speaker 3: goes up.
- 28:14Speaker 2: In the Instagram stories at one oh seven five the
- 28:17Speaker 2: River on Instagram.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I didn't know that about the Otter so I learned
- 28:20Speaker 3: something new there.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I like one O seven Ricky Zach and Manno in
- 28:25Speaker 1: the morning
