- 1:45Speaker 1: Let's Square handle the back end so you can keep
- 1:48Speaker 1: pushing your vision forward. How did you surmise the plan
- 1:52Speaker 1: to sorry well, music session. I'm gonna tie this into
- 1:55Speaker 1: photography now.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Again it's the same formula. I'm a photographer with the
- 2:00Speaker 2: formula of music artists. So again I watch Metro Star, Butuminati,
- 2:04Speaker 2: I watch Future Star, free bands, I watch all the
- 2:06Speaker 2: people start labels. And I always thought that that's the
- 2:08Speaker 2: next step. When you get a certain level of following
- 2:12Speaker 2: on your own brand or your own art form, now
- 2:14Speaker 2: you have to turn that into an empire. So my
- 2:17Speaker 2: first step was turned into cam Kirk Studios, a physical
- 2:19Speaker 2: space that you can go visit from Camp Kirk Studios.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, that serves Atlanta local community. We're
- 2:26Speaker 2: going to open up more locations around the world. But
- 2:28Speaker 2: that's that.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:30Speaker 2: What's the way that I can make money or grow
- 2:33Speaker 2: with the next generation of people that want to be me,
- 2:35Speaker 2: you know, that want to look.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Up to me.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I always think that there's multiple ways you can monetize
- 2:40Speaker 2: a following. A lot of times people only monetize in
- 2:42Speaker 2: the way of their fans. They don't always think of
- 2:45Speaker 2: ways to monetize in a way of people that believe
- 2:48Speaker 2: in you and will pay to be you. And I
- 2:50Speaker 2: think that that's a formula that a lot of music
- 2:52Speaker 2: artists just miss out on, because so many music artists
- 2:55Speaker 2: could be having their own recording studio that people pay record,
- 2:59Speaker 2: that people will pay to record that future studio if
- 3:01Speaker 2: it was open to the public studio. If they go
- 3:03Speaker 2: in there and see his plaques on the wall, they
- 3:05Speaker 2: think they wouldn't be like I want to record with
- 3:07Speaker 2: future records. He could make millions all over the world.
- 3:10Speaker 2: But it's a studio franchise, you know what I mean? Like,
- 3:14Speaker 2: I think Floyd is doing it now with his boxing gyms.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's like you create something that people can do. So
- 3:19Speaker 2: for me, my studio was part of that because now
- 3:21Speaker 2: people can shoot in the same place that I shoot.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So where I shot gd's book cover, you can shoot
- 3:27Speaker 2: right there at the same place, same equipment. That was
- 3:29Speaker 2: one and the next part was my label, Collective Gallery.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So that came from marketing propaganda type of thing. That's
- 3:37Speaker 2: just truthfully what it is. It's propaganda. I could have
- 3:40Speaker 2: called it a photography agency, but that's boring. You already
- 3:42Speaker 2: heard of it that that exists. It's not a photography agency.
- 3:44Speaker 2: We're a label with just like you see we just
- 3:47Speaker 2: like Death Row with, just like TDE we just like
- 3:50Speaker 2: everything else. We're label and I'm going to take photographers
- 3:53Speaker 2: I believe in, sign them, financially, invest in them, and
- 3:58Speaker 2: help them become the biggest artist that they can be,
- 4:00Speaker 2: the same way someone has done that for us, or
- 4:03Speaker 2: someone has done that for Big Sean, someone has done
- 4:05Speaker 2: that for every of your favorite rappers. And it also
- 4:08Speaker 2: is a jab at the industry because when I was
- 4:11Speaker 2: coming up and I needed a team of support, I
- 4:13Speaker 2: did unconventionally reach out to certain labels, like why don't
- 4:17Speaker 2: y'all sign me like, I don't make music, but I'm
- 4:21Speaker 2: creating content and value around music industry. Why don't y'all
- 4:25Speaker 2: just sign me Like I'm doing brand deals with Nike,
- 4:27Speaker 2: I'm doing brand deals with everybody else. Y'all can monetize
- 4:29Speaker 2: me the same way if I had an engine and
- 4:31Speaker 2: it was too too far of a concept for a
- 4:34Speaker 2: lot of labels to understand. So then I was like,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it, and I'm gonna show you. I'm
- 4:38Speaker 2: gonna show you. So in that first year, we signed
- 4:41Speaker 2: seven artists, seven photographers. I gave every photographer twenty thousand
- 4:44Speaker 2: dollars cash to invest in their career, and then we
- 4:48Speaker 2: got them when they got a team, We're gonna point
- 4:50Speaker 2: you in the right direction. We're gonna set you up
- 4:52Speaker 2: for brand deals, we're gonna expand your your capabilities. So
- 4:57Speaker 2: in that first year, we signed seven artists, potographer. I
- 5:00Speaker 2: gave every photographer twenty thousand dollars cash to invest in
- 5:04Speaker 2: their career, and then we guide them when they got
- 5:06Speaker 2: a team. We're gonna point you in the right direction,
- 5:08Speaker 2: We're gonna set you up for brand deals, We're gonna
- 5:11Speaker 2: expand your your capabilities. So like one of my photographers
- 5:15Speaker 2: name is Screl Davis. He was doing mostly photography. I
- 5:18Speaker 2: was like, yeah, you should expand it to video. First
- 5:20Speaker 2: project I gave him under the labels Cardi B did
- 5:23Speaker 2: the documentary with Cardi B for Up Music Video. So
- 5:26Speaker 2: it's like, now you're think of yourself as a director,
- 5:28Speaker 2: not just a photographer. So now that opened up a
- 5:31Speaker 2: whole nother revenue stream for him. And then when you're
- 5:34Speaker 2: on set, we're gonna give you the same formula. Somebody's
- 5:36Speaker 2: gonna be there to take a photo of you on
- 5:37Speaker 2: set so you can post this and show the world
- 5:40Speaker 2: that you're here. That led to him getting brand deals.
- 5:43Speaker 2: He done brand deals with Baccarty where he's in front
- 5:46Speaker 2: of the camera holding a bottle Baccarty like things like that.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It's like, that's how we gearing it up because you
- 5:51Speaker 2: don't want to just make money off photography. You actually can't,
- 5:55Speaker 2: in my opinion this day and age, just make money
- 5:57Speaker 2: off one way. You gotta monetize the whole brand. So
- 6:00Speaker 2: that's what we do. And it's a little jab at
- 6:02Speaker 2: the industry because I think the New Age label should
- 6:05Speaker 2: include all forms of creativity and not just music.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Does the twenty thousand come with a start git as
- 6:12Speaker 1: far as equipment.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You probably wouldn't get signed to my label if you
- 6:16Speaker 2: don't have equipment already.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Like this stuff that you put you look at and
- 6:19Speaker 1: say like, all right, that's cool, but this is actually
- 6:22Speaker 1: what you should.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we guide them on what the money can be
- 6:25Speaker 2: used for. So the first ten thousand is put in
- 6:27Speaker 2: your pocket. Just get out of the need to be
- 6:31Speaker 2: in service. So a lot of photographer right now just
- 6:33Speaker 2: service providers. That's what pays their bills. They don't know
- 6:36Speaker 2: how to make enough money to turn down the job
- 6:39Speaker 2: or the guide their career in a certain direction, which
- 6:41Speaker 2: is real. It just is what it is. So this
- 6:43Speaker 2: is a little cushion money first put in your pocket.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So now you can start to think more clearly about
- 6:48Speaker 2: the decision or the job you're going to take next,
- 6:50Speaker 2: and how does that actually help you tell the story
- 6:53Speaker 2: you want to tell for your career, which is like
- 6:55Speaker 2: a luxury that I feel like I have now, Like
- 6:58Speaker 2: I pick up the camera maybe five ten times the
- 7:00Speaker 2: year now, and it's all like, oh, I want to
- 7:02Speaker 2: do that, that's dope, that's gonna look good. If I
- 7:04Speaker 2: don't want to do it, I don't do it. So
- 7:06Speaker 2: the first part of money is just to give them
- 7:08Speaker 2: a little cushion the other tenants for a marketing investing
- 7:11Speaker 2: into a maybe an art show, a gallery, a product
- 7:14Speaker 2: if they want to sell, merge a book or like whatever. Prince,
- 7:18Speaker 2: it's like it guides you in that way. And then
- 7:20Speaker 2: we also go and help you get jobs or connect
- 7:22Speaker 2: you with brands and say you're going to do this,
- 7:24Speaker 2: negotiate on your behalf, give you ilegal to make sure
- 7:27Speaker 2: you're buttoned up and stuff like that.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And then you get a percentage of the deal.
- 7:31Speaker 2: YEA, yeah, I get a percentage, just like a label.
- 7:34Speaker 3: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 7:38Speaker 3: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 7:42Speaker 3: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 7:46Speaker 3: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 7:50Speaker 3: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 7:54Speaker 3: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christine Noman, the United States
- 7:57Speaker 3: Secretary of Homeland Security. President Trump attempted illegal border crossings
- 8:03Speaker 3: are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one
- 8:06Speaker 3: hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you are
- 8:09Speaker 3: here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly one
- 8:13Speaker 3: thousand dollars a day. Imprisoned and deported, you will never return.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 8:21Speaker 3: leave now, you could be allowed to return legally. Do
- 8:25Speaker 3: what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws, border
- 8:30Speaker 3: and families will be protected. Sponsored by the United States
- 8:33Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security,
