- 0:44He probably know Brad from his Emmy Award-winning TV hosting gig on the Arizona Daily Mix
- 0:50or one of his many other television jobs in Phoenix, San Diego or from his podcast, Things
- 0:57Men Don't Talk About. Maybe you just know him from being an Instagram celebrity.
- 1:02So welcome back to the show Brad.
- 1:04Wow, that's awesome. Can I just use that intro every time I go?
- 1:08Yeah, just sleep that. I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:12Yeah.
- 1:12I'm going to put that on.
- 1:14I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:16I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:20I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:22I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:24I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:26I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:28I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:30I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:32I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:34I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:36I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:38I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:40I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:42I'm just going to put that on.
- 1:44I'm talking about this.
- 1:46This is Eddie Murphy.
- 1:48Why is it Eddie Murphy specific?
- 1:50Eddie Murphy.
- 1:52Eddie Murphy.
- 1:54Eddie Murphy.
- 1:56Did he stand up concert?
- 1:58Actually, it was one of the first kind of major movie concert.
- 2:02Eddie Murphy.
- 2:04I've seen that picture.
- 2:06I forget what the name of the special was.
- 2:08Was it Delirious?
- 2:10Delirious? I was going to say Delirious.
- 2:12I was going to say skinned Eddie Murphy,
- 2:14but it's more like if we undressed him.
- 2:16Wow.
- 2:18This did go to a home at a level.
- 2:20What kind of...
- 2:22We're under a pop culture already.
- 2:24A home at a hyperculture right now.
- 2:26We're in a culture.
- 2:28That's where we're at.
- 2:30We're not skinned anybody.
- 2:32Not yet.
- 2:34That's how it goes.
- 2:36So, what's new Brad body but up to since last time we caught up?
- 2:40Well, okay.
- 2:42The podcast I started.
- 2:44Yeah, it's all about the podcast.
- 2:46Things that men don't talk about.
- 2:48I really wanted to start this because of my own health issues.
- 2:50I was going through but I'd never really talked to my guy buddies about this.
- 2:54I was embarrassed, even to the doctor.
- 2:56I said, "That's a big problem."
- 2:58Us guys need to start talking more.
- 3:00Women talk all the time.
- 3:02Women, I mean, you know where...
- 3:04We know we're too much about each other to be free.
- 3:06And it's so funny that I have friends I've known for 25 years.
- 3:10I don't really know the guys.
- 3:12Because we still talk like women do.
- 3:14So I was like, "Let's start this podcast."
- 3:16And I started talking to some of my celebrity friends.
- 3:18The first one I have is Marlon Wayans.
- 3:20Oh, very cool.
- 3:22And he talked about mental problems.
- 3:24That he actually is going through.
- 3:26And he says, "I need friends to talk to."
- 3:28And as guys, we have to stop thinking that we're all these tough guys.
- 3:32And we're tough men.
- 3:34We're not.
- 3:36We are literally the biggest babies in the world.
- 3:38Seriously.
- 3:40Why don't you think God gave us the power to have children?
- 3:44Yeah.
- 3:46Couldn't handle it.
- 3:48I say balls are more fragile than ovaries.
- 3:50So yes, so the podcast is talking about guide things that we need to talk about.
- 3:56I mean, I talk about Steve Wilkos from the Steve Wilkos show.
- 4:00We talked about him dealing with his wife's cancer.
- 4:02You know, because guys, we don't talk about it.
- 4:05We'll go to the golf course, "How you doing?"
- 4:07"How's your wife?"
- 4:08Well, she's going through chemotherapy and blah, blah, blah.
- 4:10People, what about you?
- 4:12No, we don't say anything.
- 4:14So that was a good talk.
- 4:15And then I had my kids on.
- 4:16Oh, I love that.
- 4:17Yes.
- 4:18So that was a very interesting.
- 4:20Because I thought I really screwed up my kids.
- 4:22Oh, no.
- 4:23I did.
- 4:24I was very happy.
- 4:25That's what happened.
- 4:27I was like, "Wow."
- 4:29That's awesome.
- 4:30I love that.
- 4:31I go through that with my husband all the time, where he'll hang out with his guy friends
- 4:35and come back.
- 4:36And I'm like, "Oh, my God.
- 4:37How is he?"
- 4:38Fine.
- 4:39Is he seeing anyone?
- 4:40No.
- 4:41Where is he working now?
- 4:42No.
- 4:43What the hell did you guys even talk about?
- 4:46Stop.
- 4:47Stop.
- 4:48Stop.
- 4:49Play Smash Brothers.
- 4:50Yeah.
- 4:51That's it.
- 4:52I know everything about my friends.
- 4:54Or you ask for an update.
- 4:55And it's like, "Oh, yeah.
- 4:56They got divorced.
- 4:57They moved."
- 4:58And you're like, "What?"
- 4:59And tell me any of these things.
- 5:01Like, the women are like, "I want to know everything, how did it happen?
- 5:04What were the dynamics?
- 5:05The luck you will."
- 5:06Thank you.
- 5:07Yeah.
- 5:08That's how it's got.
- 5:09So that's what the podcast is about.
- 5:10It's cool.
- 5:11And so I'm very happy it's starting to go another season coming up.
- 5:14Cool.
- 5:15And so some more special guests and talking or anything.
- 5:17So any exclusive guests you can tell us here you're expecting or hoping to have?
- 5:22Let's say I'm working and we're trying to work out the schedule, but someone who has a lot of children.
- 5:27Oh, Nick Cannon, oh my God.
- 5:29Oh my God.
- 5:30Well, very calm.
- 5:32Well, it's not P-D-D.
- 5:35Oh.
- 5:36Oh.
- 5:37No, he, you know what I got?
- 5:40Supposed to go to his house, but I was like, "No, that's not the guy."
- 5:44No, no, no.
- 5:45No, no.
- 5:46Okay.
- 5:47You weren't rocking with him in Miami.
- 5:48Yeah.
- 5:49Or in LA.
- 5:50Okay.
- 5:51That's two different things right there.
- 5:52Yeah.
- 5:53Yeah.
- 5:54I got the love to meet Nick Cannon.
- 5:55So not that you can officially say that that's him, but.
- 5:58No, I can't say that.
- 5:59Yeah.
- 6:00Do you think that Nick Cannon is still really good at the drums?
- 6:04Can you ask him that?
- 6:05Okay.
- 6:06It's got an official.
- 6:07I'm sorry.
- 6:08You know what I think he does.
- 6:09And then he still plays a little bit inside.
- 6:11Oh wow.
- 6:12Yeah.
- 6:13So, you know, he actually is a big family guy.
- 6:14You don't realize that.
- 6:15He seems like a nice guy.
- 6:17Like, he seems really funny from clips I've seen him.
- 6:19He's very smart.
- 6:20I mean, he was running Nickelodeon.
- 6:22Yeah.
- 6:23He's really good at it.
- 6:24Really?
- 6:25Yeah.
- 6:26Yeah.
- 6:27I think he wasn't running it during the.
- 6:28Quite on the set.
- 6:29The drenched tighter time.
- 6:30Yeah.
- 6:31Which speaking of drenched tighter, did you see that he's filing a lawsuit?
- 6:35A high definition?
- 6:36A high definition?
- 6:37Yeah.
- 6:38Okay.
- 6:39But actually, he has a good point.
- 6:42He has a generally good case that could be argued, I think, when it comes to it.
- 6:49But is he technically suing ID or HBO?
- 6:51Do you know?
- 6:52I think he's suing the whole group.
- 6:53Max, okay.
- 6:54I think he's suing the producers that produced it.
- 6:56He's suing the max.
- 6:57He's suing everybody.
- 6:59Because I think it was where he admit I was wrong.
- 7:02Yes, I was mean to, you know, my employees, my coworkers, but I wasn't with those guys.
- 7:07Yeah.
- 7:08But he also is, I mean, responsible for those guys because he hired him on.
- 7:13He brought them on.
- 7:14But actually, some people are saying that he kind of like didn't.
- 7:18It's the studio on them who hired these guys.
- 7:20Interesting.
- 7:21He's saying like, I mean, there's a lot of things that they kind of insinuate in it and saying,
- 7:26like, you know, I'm obsessed with feet and I made an appropriate show.
- 7:30I mean, he is obsessed with feet.
- 7:31Yeah, but like people are insinuating that he was indicating a legend.
- 7:35A legend.
- 7:36A legend.
- 7:37So, it's actually a thing.
- 7:38It goes on.
- 7:39But that, I mean, yeah, so we'll see what happens there.
- 7:42But you guys come up to a good thing and that's documentaries.
- 7:45How are documentaries becoming such a hot thing right now?
- 7:48I love them.
- 7:49I love it.
- 7:50Fossil to one every night.
- 7:52Do you fall asleep to one?
- 7:53Yeah, I have to eat.
- 7:54Do you have any of the beers or anything?
- 7:55No.
- 7:56No.
- 7:57What do you fall asleep to?
- 7:59So it really does depend.
- 8:01Sometimes I love like a history one, which is more like 15th century like history is very
- 8:08rare.
- 8:09I will fall asleep to a true crime documentary.
- 8:11Have you liked this one last night?
- 8:12Is it a thriller killer stalker or whatever?
- 8:14Yeah, so I have.
- 8:15It's good.
- 8:16What is, which one?
- 8:17A lover killer stalker.
- 8:19That's it.
- 8:20That's it.
- 8:21It's actually about this guy who goes on a date with this woman like once and is actually
- 8:27like communicating like, I don't want anything serious.
- 8:30Like we should not do anything if you're not okay with that.
- 8:33Like I'm freshly divorced.
- 8:34I don't want to be with anyone.
- 8:35She's like, cool.
- 8:36Love that.
- 8:37And then goes insane.
- 8:40She ends up like murdering this woman that speaks to him.
- 8:45Right.
- 8:46It's like being reindeer.
- 8:48Yeah.
- 8:49I did start it.
- 8:50I did start it.
- 8:51I finished it.
- 8:52I finished it.
- 8:53But I actually did kind of tell me what happened.
- 8:54I did a little bit because we talked about it a couple episodes ago.
- 8:58Yeah.
- 8:59And she was like, Sean, that sounds terrible.
- 9:01Yeah.
- 9:02And so many people wronged me.
- 9:03Have you ever had a stalker because the queue have fame?
- 9:06You know?
- 9:07I wish.
- 9:08I was right in the wrong way.
- 9:10You know, it's like, I'm like, hey, wait.
- 9:12Yeah, come on over.
- 9:13Come on over.
- 9:14You know what?
- 9:15You just stand outside my house.
- 9:17Something.
- 9:18You know?
- 9:19Just watch me from afar.
- 9:20Just leave a solo diet coke on my door.
- 9:22You don't have to ask.
- 9:23Doesn't matter.
- 9:24Does something.
- 9:25If you leave a diet coke out, I will come over and stop.
- 9:26Yeah.
- 9:27Oh, the whole six pack.
- 9:28I'm going to go to the whole six pack out.
- 9:29She might go out a little bit.
- 9:30It doesn't matter.
- 9:31I'm going to stalk her.
- 9:32I don't know how they got there.
- 9:33Oh, no.
- 9:34Leave a little shot of tequila to diet coke out.
- 9:35You're right in the door open.
- 9:37Uh-huh.
- 9:38I'm not.
- 9:39I had a stalker.
- 9:40But I've had people claim that they have are dating me.
- 9:48I don't know if that's considered the same stalker.
- 9:50That's maybe a severe behavior.
- 9:52It's weird behavior.
- 9:53Yeah, I had someone like, I love him, but like we are together.
- 9:57We are.
- 9:58So I had someone who had a picture of me.
- 10:01I had taken a picture with them and it was on their desk.
- 10:04Or at their, yeah, their desk got to say.
- 10:06And their coworker came by.
- 10:09And I was like, oh, how do you know?
- 10:10Brands.
- 10:11Like, oh, well, we've been dating for three years.
- 10:13We're in love.
- 10:14Two years.
- 10:15And she's like, what do you mean?
- 10:16Because I know who exactly date.
- 10:17What's going on here?
- 10:18And so then I was like, I'm front of like, I don't know who that is.
- 10:23What's going on?
- 10:24Oh my gosh.
- 10:25That was one.
- 10:26And I think that's it.
- 10:27I don't think I've had been any.
- 10:29But I've had people say they're me.
- 10:31That's the best one.
- 10:32Okay.
- 10:33I love telling the story.
- 10:35Oh, yes.
- 10:36This is the best story I have of someone thinking that I was there.
- 10:39So back in the day, I would be going to Vegas every weekend.
- 10:44Don't understand why she divorced me.
- 10:46And we're going to be in a spa.
- 10:49And then it's spying.
- 10:50Spying.
- 10:51Spying.
- 10:52Spying.
- 10:53Spying.
- 10:54So I go one week and with a buddy of mine, we're over there and he gets back and one of his friends
- 11:00calls him and says, oh, dude, you missed the party of the year.
- 11:04We missed my party.
- 11:06Like, Sarah night was off the hook.
- 11:09Like Brad Perry was there in the hot tub with like the strippers.
- 11:14Okay.
- 11:15And can I say that on the page?
- 11:17Yes.
- 11:18Okay.
- 11:19I was so much worried.
- 11:20So I think you said so much.
- 11:21I have.
- 11:22So like, yeah.
- 11:23So like Brad Perry was there in the hot tub with strippers.
- 11:25And my buddy's like Brad Perry from like TV.
- 11:28Yeah.
- 11:29Three to three.
- 11:30Yeah.
- 11:31That's what I was worried.
- 11:32And you're standing like he's there and he was doing coke off their asses.
- 11:36And he's like Brad Perry from good morning.
- 11:44Yeah.
- 11:45Was in your hot tub doing coke off of strippers.
- 11:49And he goes.
- 11:52That wasn't Brad Perry.
- 11:53Yeah.
- 11:54He was in Vegas because I have the receipts.
- 11:56And he has my whole telltun.
- 11:59Like my name from the whole telltunary thing.
- 12:01And I was like, I don't know.
- 12:02I don't know.
- 12:03But then I have a lot of words.
- 12:04People come up to me and go, oh my god, I had so much fun with you the other night.
- 12:09And I was like, what do you mean me?
- 12:11Yeah.
- 12:12Yeah.
- 12:13Yeah.
- 12:14I touched the bar.
- 12:15Remember at the bar.
- 12:16I was like, do you have like an evil twin following around?
- 12:19Maybe not evil.
- 12:20I like a stripper loving twin.
- 12:23Well, see, I would all say guys.
- 12:24So it could be that at the time.
- 12:26So I can say that.
- 12:27I think I was doing coke off a stripper.
- 12:29I was like, you know what?
- 12:31I'm going to drop those guys.
- 12:32You know what?
- 12:33You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:34You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:35You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:36You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:37You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:38You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:39You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:40You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:41You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:42You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:43You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:44You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:45You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:46You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:47You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:48You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:49You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:50You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:51You're going to drop those guys.
- 12:52You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:07You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:08You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:09You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:10You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:11You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:12You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:13You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:14You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:15You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:16You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:17You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:18You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:19You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:20You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:21You're going to drop those guys.

- 13:29You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:30You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:31You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:32You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:33You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:34You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:35You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:36You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:37You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:38You're going to drop those guys.

- 13:40You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:41You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:42You're going to drop those guys.
- 13:43Yeah. (laughs)
- 13:44- That's probably fans.
- 13:45- I sent.
- 13:47- Yeah.
- 13:47- It just,
- 13:49- It's not my fucking silks.
- 13:49- It's the hottest golf in the campaign.
- 13:51- I have a couple fans on my Instagram.
- 13:54- And they send you money?
- 13:55- They just send me money,
- 13:56'cause they're like you're so pretty.
- 13:57And just send me 30 bucks.
- 13:59One day, I put,
- 14:01- I can't eat those, you know.
- 14:02- The National Women's Day,
- 14:02you should send me 30 dollars
- 14:03and everyone.
- 14:04Like all these men were just sending me money.
- 14:07- It's incredible.
- 14:08- Yeah, it's incredible.
- 14:09- You know, that's,
- 14:11I mean, you don't do anything or what you do.
- 14:12- I post news, I'm happily married.
- 14:14- I mean, not that you, you know,
- 14:15and no shame.
- 14:16- No shame to anybody who's married and post news.
- 14:19- Yeah, no, no, but you gotta,
- 14:21I mean, that money, Brad.
- 14:22- I'm sending some of my gothies on them.
- 14:24- Sim's got a Sim.
- 14:25- That's all that.
- 14:26- Oh my gosh.
- 14:27- She acknowledged them,
- 14:28so I think that's like the dopamine and the brain, you know.
- 14:33- See, I, it doesn't have to me.
- 14:34- Who really does it for some guys?
- 14:36- Yeah.
- 14:38See, that's where,
- 14:39that's where we're going,
- 14:39'cause like, see back in my day,
- 14:41we didn't have social media.
- 14:42- I mean, a stalker literally had to show up.
- 14:45- Yeah.
- 14:46- Like a stalker had to be at your work or at your house
- 14:48or something.
- 14:49- Yes, that'd be dedicated to you.
- 14:51- That'd be actually, yeah.
- 14:52- To be actually the bush is, you had to,
- 14:53you know, be in the back of their car.
- 14:55- Yeah.
- 14:56- You know, that's just like an air gun.
- 14:58- No, they're gonna look up Instagram.
- 15:00- How are you?
- 15:00I'm not saying that's me, but in my cell.
- 15:02- Yeah, yeah.
- 15:03- And then you found the next one.
- 15:04- You're like, ask your ex's house.
- 15:05- Yeah, this is good little.
- 15:07- Yeah.
- 15:07- But, I mean, but that's again,
- 15:08that's about pop culture right there.
- 15:10- That is, that's about culture of where you stalkers
- 15:13used to really stalk.
- 15:14- Exactly, and now it's like people are so accessible.
- 15:18And I mean, it's kind of scary.
- 15:19Like I guess if I, you know, I joke about it,
- 15:22but, we do it's could totally like,
- 15:25it's find your location.
- 15:27- Yeah, that guy.
- 15:28- That guy who's a Taylor Swift stalker
- 15:30and like showed up at the Drew Barrymore, like,
- 15:33- Show.
- 15:34- Show, like tried to get on stage with her.
- 15:36Like, yeah, he was like harassing Taylor too.
- 15:39And so people get really insane about it.
- 15:42- Don't actually stalk us guys, just send us money.
- 15:44- Yeah, just send us money.
- 15:45- Just send us money.
- 15:46- Yeah, he daughters to be cute.
- 15:48- Yeah, three bucks, oh.
- 15:50Also, he's a V. I guess, I don't know.
- 15:51- He'll be like, you can say that you saw me
- 15:55hang out with strippers and start cooking.
- 15:58To anyone, you can face to me in any time.
- 16:01And I'll say, yup, that happened.
- 16:03(laughing)
- 16:04- Oh my God.
- 16:06Oh my God.
- 16:07- Sorry about it.
- 16:07- I'm working.
- 16:08- I'm in the subscription model.
- 16:10- Yeah, I know.
- 16:11- Yeah, we do offer up nip pictures of Nicole's feet.
- 16:14- Yeah.
- 16:15- Yeah.
- 16:16- Our only friend, oh God.
- 16:17- Oh my God.
- 16:18- Our Patriots.
- 16:19- This is where she's getting all the money from.
- 16:20- I know.
- 16:21- This is, this show is really taking a different,
- 16:24(laughing)
- 16:25- What kind of work?
- 16:26- What's with all the needs of the leather stuff?
- 16:27- Yeah, what's with, what's with it?
- 16:28- It's a murky leather, it's a kind of...
- 16:30- What's with the skin?
- 16:31- What's with skin?
- 16:32- We got some ice cream, we got some ice cream.
- 16:35(laughing)
- 16:37- Oh my goodness.
- 16:38- Oh my goodness.
- 16:39- But yeah, so speaking of documentaries,
- 16:42as we're talking here, I'm actually doing a documentary.
- 16:45- Oh, that's a lot of work.
- 16:47- I'm trained to be an underwear model.
- 16:49- Oh my God.
- 16:50- Why the room goes silent all of a sudden?
- 16:52- I'm coming.
- 16:53- The room just went silent very quickly.
- 16:55- It was a quick break from all of it.
- 16:57- That was it.
- 16:58- Is that what it was?
- 16:58- Is there a target like campaign or just like what?
- 17:02- So I, you know what right now?
- 17:04I mean, I would like to probably be like municipal,
- 17:07which is Mark Wahlberg's company.
- 17:08- Okay.
- 17:09- So because I've been, I've been trolling him.
- 17:12- Okay.
- 17:12- So very heavily on Instagram.
- 17:13- Okay.
- 17:14- And he's actually like my stuff back.
- 17:15Literally thanks to him, I've had over,
- 17:18almost a million views of my videos that I've done
- 17:22about him.
- 17:23- Wow.
- 17:24- We just start doing some mark mark video.
- 17:25- Okay.
- 17:26- That's the only, but I don't mean,
- 17:27you know, my son was an underwear model.
- 17:29- Okay.
- 17:30- So I'm a pair of these underwear,
- 17:31and he was her first like model in the campaign.
- 17:33So I'm like, hey, you know what?
- 17:34- It's in the fan.
- 17:35- It has to be in the family,
- 17:36you know what I'm saying?
- 17:37- Yeah.
- 17:38- But so, yeah, so I'm starting to train,
- 17:39so I'm documenting it.
- 17:40- Okay.
- 17:41- And so, yeah.
- 17:42So it's a doctor grammar, you can go to the unofficial
- 17:43brand ambassador, because no one's sponsoring me.
- 17:46So, I'm sponsoring myself.
- 17:48And just pretend like people are sponsoring me.
- 17:50- Yeah.
- 17:51- So that's why I'm doing, but no, I'm trying to be
- 17:52under a model.
- 17:53- So we find it interesting.
- 17:54- So what goes in to becoming an underwear model
- 17:56in case we wanted to follow your footsteps?
- 17:58- You don't eat.
- 17:59- You don't eat.
- 18:00- Well, right now, yeah.
- 18:01So like, really, I've lost 60 pounds trying to get done.
- 18:04- Yeah.
- 18:05- Thank you.
- 18:05- I'm going to go over here.
- 18:06- Yeah.
- 18:07- Yeah.
- 18:08- So I'll start training, and so in the abs,
- 18:10that's the part I gotta build the abs.
- 18:11That's the main thing they look at.
- 18:14- The main thing.
- 18:15- So, yeah, the V.
- 18:17- The V.
- 18:18- The V.
- 18:19- The V.
- 18:19- Oh, is that what it is?
- 18:22- Okay, for guys too?
- 18:22- Yes.
- 18:23- Well, it's like the muscle V.
- 18:25- Right.
- 18:26- It's the muscle.
- 18:26- It's the muscle V.
- 18:27- Yeah, that's the underwear.
- 18:28- Okay, that's the V.
- 18:29- Yeah, that was the layers.
- 18:30I guess we're really, like, look at those layers.
- 18:32And all there goes is the data.
- 18:33- That's the proof.
- 18:34- Yeah, it's like a win.
- 18:36- So the V.
- 18:36- Yeah, I gotta work that.
- 18:37- So the thing is Mark Wahlberg, he was an underwear model.
- 18:41- Yeah.
- 18:41- Mark the Mark.
- 18:42- So I thought, yeah, go with this company.
- 18:44But I am a boxer, not a brief guy.
- 18:46- Okay.
- 18:47- So just so, you know, I hope that does not seem to be.
- 18:49- It's not okay, no, it's not.
- 18:50- No, it's not.
- 18:51- Or the sports boxers kind of, like, yeah, I'm not a cool person.
- 18:54- I'm not like the bag, okay.
- 18:56- We have like, Bart Simpson prints on us.
- 18:58- Yeah, I'm not like the tie-porns, yeah, I'm like,
- 19:00I really wanna, I wanna make sure the package is seen.
- 19:02- So you see some of his pants are like,
- 19:04don't see Bart on your own.
- 19:05- No, we're talking about that.
- 19:06- It's all worth it.
- 19:07- Yeah.
- 19:08- But that's the thing.
- 19:09So it's a good duck, you see.
- 19:11- Yeah, so that goes into a lot of training,
- 19:12just a lot of, you know, dieting right now.
- 19:15- Okay.
- 19:16- And then just kind of like just, I mean,
- 19:19just putting word out there.
- 19:20- And then eventually you have to wear underwear on camera.
- 19:24- I wanna billboard in Times Square.
- 19:26- Oh, there.
- 19:27- I wanna billboard.
- 19:28I want like, just, you know, like whatever company takes me.
- 19:31- Yeah.
- 19:32- They're in Times Square, I'm about to, like, you know,
- 19:34maybe I'm on the today show or somewhere where I'm wearing.
- 19:37- In your underwear.
- 19:37- Well, I'm in Times Square and I reveal me,
- 19:41yeah, then I take off my robe or something.
- 19:43And so it's also funny, you know, there's the naked cowboy.
- 19:46- I remember the naked cowboy. - Yeah.
- 19:47- And he's in Times Square, where's the underwear, I'm still.
- 19:49- He's in his underwear in public. - Yeah.
- 19:51- So I'm, but, but, and then that's the goal.
- 19:53- Okay.
- 19:54- And also makes money.
- 19:55- Okay, like it.
- 19:56I'm gonna bring in like the leg brand outreach
- 19:59and document that, like how you're gonna try to do that.
- 20:01- Well, that will hopefully be the second part.
- 20:03And so I'm hoping is that someone picks up the documentary
- 20:06for real and then like follows me all the way to like the auditions
- 20:09that are going to do to get this.
- 20:10- I think that's incredible.
- 20:11- And then like all the fame or no fame or what happens.
- 20:13- Yeah. - Yeah.
- 20:14- That's very cool.
- 20:15- You know what? - Reach out to Skins.
- 20:16- Yeah.
- 20:17- You know what, what do you do?
- 20:18- You know what I'm trying to do.
- 20:19- Uh, savage Fenty.
- 20:20- Yeah.
- 20:21- Do they do men?
- 20:22- Cools?
- 20:23- Yes.
- 20:23- Yeah, savage Fenty definitely does.
- 20:25- We do. - I know Skins does too, actually.
- 20:26- But that's gonna, I have to be gangster.
- 20:27- Yeah, I think it could get 10,000, right? - Yeah. - No. - No. - No. - No. - I think you could do it.
- 20:32- I think it does a lot of different ones. - No, she doesn't think I--
- 20:35- Who's me, shelling Kim Kardashian, never.
- 20:38- Yeah. - But, yeah, that's two though.
- 20:39She has a lot of different types of models and stuff.
- 20:42- Right. - Yeah.
- 20:42- Yeah. - Yeah.
- 20:43- You know, 55 doing this because I could have said,
- 20:45you know what, at 55, I'm gonna go run a marathon.
- 20:48Whoa.
- 20:48Or climb a mountain.
- 20:49Ooh, mountain Everest.
- 20:50- No. - No.
- 20:51- Underpants model is much better.
- 20:53- Underwear money. - Underwear money.
- 20:54- Yeah. - Underwear model money.
- 20:55- Yeah, that's it right there. - Oh, look. Maybe we should do that too.
- 20:59- Well, I think that'll help you. - Well, are you already doing it?
- 21:01You're getting 30 bucks for doing nothing. - Yeah.
- 21:02- You're not making that. - You're making--
- 21:04- I don't even have to wear my underpants on here.
- 21:06- You're making a lot more than me. - I am in my bathing suit sometimes.
- 21:09- Wow. - Okay. - No, I'm taught.
- 21:11No, let's go to your back.
- 21:14This is one to hold a baby here.
- 21:16- That husband's listening like-- - What?
- 21:18- He's like, wait, what is this? - Oh, God.
- 21:19- Is it dirty or what? - He's like, what's the deep side?
- 21:23- Yeah. - This is crazy.
- 21:24- Where that money's been coming from.
- 21:26(laughing)
- 21:29- Oh my God.
- 21:30Let's talk about TV.
- 21:31Let's talk about Dave.
- 21:32We were on this a little bit.
- 21:33I want to ask you ladies.
- 21:34- Yes. - Just what is now like,
- 21:36as we're watching the way the world is turning in media,
- 21:41from social media to doc to streaming and stuff.
- 21:44I mean, as you guys are watching the pop culture on this one,
- 21:48where do you think we're going?
- 21:49Where do you think?
- 21:50That's on the planet.
- 21:51I'm here with you. - Yes.
- 21:52- I would definitely say like short form content.
- 21:55I do think like the rise of YouTube
- 21:58and the long term success of it really kind of has brought people
- 22:02into video content, video essay style content.
- 22:07Where people want to learn a lot,
- 22:08and I think a lot of information can be quickly like put out
- 22:13and people want that kind of quick dopamine hit with it.
- 22:17- In shorter. - Yes.
- 22:18- 'Cause yeah, but I will say too.
- 22:19I mean, I watch some of these, you know, reels and stuff
- 22:23and YouTube to do something.
- 22:26I kind of want to build like a house in my backyard
- 22:29after watching people.
- 22:30- Right. - Right.
- 22:31- Honestly, I'm looking at videos right now too
- 22:34to like convert a shed, not really a shed,
- 22:38but like the she shed.
- 22:39- I want a she shed.
- 22:40- Right. - I want to make it into a jam,
- 22:41but like, we'll go into the insulation
- 22:44and like the dry walling and all that stuff.
- 22:45YouTube is perfect for that.
- 22:47- It is but not because I literally
- 22:49want to start the project and no, it's not like it.
- 22:53- I guess they kind of give you like the overarching
- 22:55and make it look a lot more simple than it is.
- 22:57- Yeah, and I think also too, I think they have a crew
- 22:59off there with them and they make it like a bite or so.
- 23:01I think they got a whole bunch of people sitting off to the back.
- 23:03- Yeah.
- 23:04- He's like, all right, let's go ahead and hammer this side,
- 23:06you know, four by four to the three by seven to the four by four.
- 23:09Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick.
- 23:10- He has the lighting bulb is lighting up, good on him.
- 23:12- And then it's like boom, and there's the wall.
- 23:14(laughing)
- 23:15- You know what, that happened.
- 23:16- No, it's not coming to me.
- 23:17- Yeah. - I mean, I mean,
- 23:18I didn't even just cut the grass in a certain way,
- 23:20didn't come out, so.
- 23:21- I guess that's true.
- 23:22When I've tried to paint my own office,
- 23:23I watched so many reels of like,
- 23:25people just go in four strokes,
- 23:27just up down walls painted.
- 23:29That shit took me days and it looked so bad.
- 23:33- Right.
- 23:33- It looked so bad.
- 23:35- It's not the magic.
- 23:35- I'm never painting my own walls again.
- 23:38I'm sharing it from that.
- 23:38- That's funny.
- 23:39- I think we'll have like what will be the future of pop culture?
- 23:43What do you think the pop culture
- 23:44and the future is gonna be?
- 23:45These reels and stuff for people.
- 23:46I mean, I really have a soft spot for just like,
- 23:50really good well-made shows.
- 23:53I think that, I mean, Cable's dead, we all know that.
- 23:56That's been for a while.
- 23:57I think so.
- 23:59Unless you think everything old is gonna become new again,
- 24:02just like every other cycle and adventure.
- 24:04- I work in your TV.
- 24:05- Yeah.
- 24:06- So as we know, linear TV is,
- 24:08I think it's making the comeback
- 24:09and I think that's what's gonna be the thing.
- 24:11'Cause I think everyone's over the street.
- 24:12That's why I want to ask you.
- 24:13- Yeah.
- 24:14- I think it's important to know more and more people
- 24:16are definitely from streaming 'cause it's over.
- 24:18It's so much.
- 24:19Like we're talking, we got maybe reindeer,
- 24:21we have the documentaries,
- 24:22we have everything in our fingertips.
- 24:24And I hate that I watch something.
- 24:26I just got to watching a man full.
- 24:29I think it's called that.
- 24:30With a man full on Netflix and it's--
- 24:33- Seeing there's so much that you can name shows
- 24:35and everyone else is reading her.
- 24:36- No.
- 24:37- And like, when that come out,
- 24:38well, you know, I can't help.
- 24:39- You know, there's seven seasons of it.
- 24:41- Yeah.
- 24:42- And so it's supposed to be so much fun.
- 24:43- I feel like it's getting over.
- 24:44- Yes.
- 24:45- You know, and it reminds me like going to concerts and stuff.
- 24:48And now all of a sudden,
- 24:49I see people from Gen Z using digital cameras.
- 24:52- Yeah.
- 24:53- At concerts?
- 24:54- Yeah.
- 24:55- It's because it's hip.
- 24:56So maybe you got that right with the cable thing.
- 24:57It's like we get so oversaturated
- 24:59in every single channel needs,
- 25:01an streaming thing.
- 25:02And eventually we're like,
- 25:03you know what'd be great if you could just turn on the TV?
- 25:06- I put something.
- 25:07- And just split your channels and watch something.
- 25:09- Yeah.
- 25:10I hate to say,
- 25:11I feel like stopped in like this watch commercials.
- 25:14(laughing)
- 25:15I don't know why.
- 25:16- You missed it.
- 25:17- I mean, you get, you get, you get, you get,
- 25:18you get sponsors yet.
- 25:19- Yeah, I get some sponsors.
- 25:20- I'll tell you some good sponsors.
- 25:21You want to get for commercials?
- 25:22- Yeah, yeah.
- 25:23- Sponsors.
- 25:24- Yeah.
- 25:25- So that was one way to go.
- 25:26- Way to go.
- 25:27- We're plugging.
- 25:28- You need a check.
- 25:29(laughing)
- 25:31- You know how many it's, it's, it's,
- 25:32- I do think it's, it's really interesting.
- 25:34I think there is a big return to movies
- 25:38and just kind of an nostalgia in general.
- 25:40I think it is a bit of escapism where you can like,
- 25:43go back to not, not even just your childhood,
- 25:46but maybe like, simpler times where you had
- 25:49less information in your brain.
- 25:51So I think it's kind of this,
- 25:53this interesting juxtaposition.
- 25:55I do think that Hollywood's ability to pick
- 26:00who we like and who we care about is forever changed.
- 26:05- Oh yeah.
- 26:06- Just because you have the ability to really appeal
- 26:08to so many people.
- 26:09And now it's like, we do have that voice.
- 26:12You told us who we have to like.
- 26:14- And I think also too, it's where, you know,
- 26:15we talk about, we have like in, for instance,
- 26:17like, you know, on social media,
- 26:19you have to have to certain amount of followers.
- 26:20That's why I'm like, you know, trying to get myself out.
- 26:23- Yeah.
- 26:23- If you have to have some amount of followers
- 26:24from the name, talk to you.
- 26:25And I think that's wrong.
- 26:26And like, look at your video, your content,
- 26:27and your, and your track record, you know?
- 26:30Because there's a lot of people out there
- 26:31who, who shouldn't be.
- 26:32I need to say that.
- 26:33- Oh, absolutely.
- 26:34People get, gosh, it's so funny.
- 26:37Like, I've been trying to build up my following two
- 26:39and same with the podcast.
- 26:40And it's like, you put out so much content.
- 26:43And then you see people who get viral for the silliest stuff.
- 26:48- Yeah.
- 26:48- And you think, man, I blew it.
- 26:49- And then someone goes and, you know,
- 26:50hires them.
- 26:51It's like, because they got one million views.
- 26:52Like, we're gonna hire them.
- 26:53And the person's terrible.
- 26:54I mean, I'm going there right now.
- 26:56I have production company agents who spent,
- 26:59I mean, literally millions.
- 27:02I'm talking hundreds of millions on influencers.
- 27:05- Geez.
- 27:06- And they just know, flat and stuff.
- 27:07And that's, you know, but that's why, like,
- 27:08you guys don't, you guys have something to talk about
- 27:11it's there and it works and stuff.
- 27:13- Yeah, I think micro influencers have a lot more like,
- 27:15pull, like if you look at like a Charlie Demelio,
- 27:18who in like 2021, 2022,
- 27:21most followers on TikTok got so many brand deals,
- 27:25went nowhere, took all the money.
- 27:27None of it was authentic.
- 27:28They did like a Kardashian style show.
- 27:31But the only people who watched that
- 27:33were like, already Demelio stands.
- 27:35- Yeah, like, they're not gonna get in new people.
- 27:38- Yeah, yeah.
- 27:39- Because a lot of people, unless you know who that is,
- 27:42I'm gonna just watch this show.
- 27:44- Yeah, and it's bad.
- 27:45- Or whatever.
- 27:46- Yeah, I give you a chance if it's not.
- 27:47It's not good.
- 27:48- It's not good.
- 27:49- It's not interesting, right?
- 27:50- Yeah, no, no, no, no.
- 27:51I think like, I want well-produced television,
- 27:53like BabyRainDue, a unique television.
- 27:56- Yeah, you need to.
- 27:57- So, like, Challengers is having a moment.
- 28:00Salt Burton was having a moment
- 28:02because they are these unique scripts.
- 28:04- It's shocking because it's so weird and different.
- 28:08- Yeah, I think that's the thing with BabyRainDue too.
- 28:10- Yeah.
- 28:11- Yeah.
- 28:12- Do you see Kristen, what's her name from?
- 28:13- Kristen Stewart.
- 28:14- Yeah, her movie.
- 28:16- Oh, and Oscar Isaac.
- 28:18Yeah, they're doing a movie together.
- 28:19- No.
- 28:20- She has that one.
- 28:21- No, it's new one.
- 28:22- She's dating a fighter, something.
- 28:22- Yeah, she's dating a fighter.
- 28:23- Oh, I'm not seeing it, but.
- 28:25- You're talking about weird.
- 28:26- I've heard it's good.
- 28:27- Yeah, that one is like, you're talking off the cuff
- 28:29and weird.
- 28:30- Oh, okay.
- 28:31- Yeah, you have to watch it.
- 28:32- Yeah, that's the one in the press when she's showing up
- 28:33in all those crazy outfits were like,
- 28:35- Oh, okay, yes.
- 28:37- Yes, it was for that.
- 28:38- Well, if you didn't know, Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac
- 28:41are doing a movie together and it's in the 80s and their vampires.
- 28:45- What?
- 28:46- She's a vampire.
- 28:48- Did she ever play that role before?
- 28:50- So weird for her.
- 28:51- No, she's edgy.
- 28:53- Yeah.
- 28:54- Yeah.
- 28:55- Yeah.
- 28:56- That edgy one.
- 28:57- Wow.
- 28:58- Wow.
- 28:59- Okay, I love Oscar.
- 29:00- I love Oscar.
- 29:01- I love Oscar.
- 29:02- I think, well, I have to check that one out for him.
- 29:04- Sam, yeah.
- 29:05- Did you watch Fallout at all?
- 29:07- Oh my God, yeah, I love it.
- 29:08- Oh, is it first episode?
- 29:09- Oh, okay.
- 29:10- You're still in the first episode?
- 29:11- I know.
- 29:12- We won't spoil anything for you.
- 29:13- I know.
- 29:14- I'm ruin, I know everything.
- 29:15- Put the worlds.
- 29:15- Yeah.
- 29:16- Yes, yeah.
- 29:17- Yeah, I know, it's really cool.
- 29:18- It's a real crazy.
- 29:19- I've seen people play the video game before.
- 29:21So like I vaguely, vaguely now.
- 29:23- But no, the show is amazing.
- 29:25And season two, I guess, right?
- 29:26I think I'm gonna do the season.
- 29:27- Oh, they have to.
- 29:28- They have to.
- 29:29- They have to.
- 29:30It does end on a nice cliffhanger, so it sets it up perfectly
- 29:34for season two.
- 29:35- Yeah, and a lot of good TV shows based on video games
- 29:38in the last two years or so.
- 29:40Which is weird because for a while,
- 29:41that did not have the best track record.
- 29:43Anytime you heard all this movie
- 29:45of this TV show is based on a video game.
- 29:47- Well, 'cause they were trying to make it like first person,
- 29:49like a shot versus like making it like a normal,
- 29:53like the old ones.
- 29:54- Yeah, yeah.
- 29:55- Yeah.
- 29:56- They tried to just, yeah.
- 29:57- Duke Shoot 'em.
- 29:58- Duke Shoot 'em.
- 29:59- Duke Nukem, there it is.
- 30:00- Yeah, yeah.
- 30:00- Duke Shoot 'em.
- 30:02- So.
- 30:03- Okay.
- 30:04- Yeah, that looks great.
- 30:05Yeah, you have to let me know how you like it as we go on.
- 30:07- All right, what else?
- 30:08What else do you want to know?
- 30:09What else, let's do this?
- 30:09Talk to me.
- 30:10Go ahead, I'm--
- 30:11- Gosh, yeah.
- 30:12- Okay, so my questions that I came up with
- 30:16were who is your favorite person you've ever interviewed?
- 30:19- Besides the podcast.
- 30:20- Like any other podcast.
- 30:21- Yeah, besides us, you know?
- 30:23- Oprah.
- 30:24- Oh, Oprah.
- 30:26- Okay, why was it like the scenes at the time?
- 30:29- Where was she in her career?
- 30:31- So she was at the height of her career.
- 30:32- Oh.
- 30:33- She was launching her magazine.
- 30:35- Oh, wow, okay, so oh magazine.
- 30:37- Oh magazine, I love it.
- 30:38- And I get invited out.
- 30:40- Okay.
- 30:40- Floan out Chicago.
- 30:41- Which home?
- 30:42- Where I'm from.
- 30:43- You know, Chicago's home.
- 30:44- Nice.
- 30:45- Chicago was where I'm from.
- 30:46- From Hillsdale, so.
- 30:46- There you go, all right.
- 30:47- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:48- There I am, yeah.
- 30:49- And I knew Harpo Studio 'cause people worked there.
- 30:51I actually applied for a job there.
- 30:53I've gone to the show to watch taping,
- 30:54so I'm in the studio.
- 30:55I'm there, I've got the chairs, everything's there.
- 30:58Beautiful, like you're like,
- 31:00and then she comes out.
- 31:02- That would have been so good.
- 31:03- And she's just a daughter.
- 31:04- She's just entering the room.
- 31:05- Yeah, comes out.
- 31:06Make sure the dogs are taken care of.
- 31:08All right, and make sure to do that.
- 31:09I'm like, oh my god, I hope we're just like
- 31:10bossing people around.
- 31:11This is awesome.
- 31:12This is awesome.
- 31:13- Oh, I don't do that.
- 31:14- It's awesome.
- 31:15- And so please boss me around.
- 31:16- Please boss me around.
- 31:17- Tell me, do something, you know.
- 31:18And what happens, you get to see that other people
- 31:20interviewing before and like, you know,
- 31:21the person before me is like, oh, like,
- 31:22what's up, girl, what's happening?
- 31:24- Yeah, I'm like, oh my god, you're good, oh my god.
- 31:27- Then it comes to me.
- 31:28- How you doing?
- 31:29- It comes to me and it's like, talks to me.
- 31:31I'm like, okay, and I'm trying to be serious
- 31:32and I want to be.
- 31:33So then I bring up the thing that listen,
- 31:36I wanted to say to you is that I'm so happy.
- 31:38I'm sitting down with you because I knew Stedman,
- 31:43'cause he lived on my block.
- 31:44And I would be at events.
- 31:45I worked on movies and stuff and Oprah would come by
- 31:47and I would run to my trailer.
- 31:48- Oh my god.
- 31:49- So I would tell her, like,
- 31:50'cause I was assistant there and I'd be at a trailer.
- 31:52So I'd run into a trailer and hide when Oprah came to set.
- 31:54So I'm telling her this, like, oh my god, it's like,
- 31:57I was afraid to-- - I actually get to talk to you.
- 31:58- And now I get to sit and interview
- 32:00in this such important thing and she's like,
- 32:03oh, baby, you should've said hello to me.
- 32:05What's going on?
- 32:06And I was like, yeah, this is good.
- 32:08This is good. - That was full circle.
- 32:09- For a circle.
- 32:10And then the best part was at the end,
- 32:12I go listen, Oprah.
- 32:14Everything you touch turns to go.
- 32:16This magazine's gonna be amazing.
- 32:18Everything you do and stuff.
- 32:19Do you mind laying your hands on me?
- 32:21(laughing)
- 32:23- Well, you blessed me.
- 32:24- In blessed.
- 32:25- And she did.
- 32:26- Yeah.
- 32:27- So did the blessing work.
- 32:29- I'm sitting here with you guys.
- 32:30- Yeah, that's true.
- 32:30- That's the whole thing.
- 32:31- Let's see what that golden is.
- 32:34- I'm just saying.
- 32:35- I'm not the one.
- 32:35- Did it work?
- 32:36I mean, it's definitely cool too.
- 32:39- Seven's great.
- 32:40Seven's great.
- 32:41Yeah, he was actually a mentor of mine.
- 32:42That's how I started to get to know him.
- 32:44- That's incredible.
- 32:44- Like, yeah, he was like a nice little inspiration
- 32:46mentor.
- 32:47I would see him at the TV station
- 32:48where I was working for Jenny Jones show.
- 32:51- Yeah, man, they've been together for a long time now.
- 32:53- They happen, they happen.
- 32:54It's an interesting relationship, I think,
- 32:57just to where it's just like almost,
- 33:00cheaper to keep or just like, you know.
- 33:02- It's like Beyonce and Jay-Z almost.
- 33:04- Yeah, it's almost like you're there.
- 33:05- Yeah, your business at the point.
- 33:07- That's your buddy, that's a partner.
- 33:08- That's a business, I think just kind of like.
- 33:09- Yeah.
- 33:10- I think it's like those, I mean, it could happen.
- 33:13Not just because it's Oprah or Jay-Z and Beyonce
- 33:16and Stephanie and I think, I think you just see those,
- 33:18I'm gonna say old people have been together forever.
- 33:20- Yeah.
- 33:21- And you kind of ask, like, what's the secret?
- 33:24Like, you guys are just there, you know, they're like,
- 33:25- Yeah.
- 33:26- Didn't really want to go anywhere.
- 33:28- Yeah. - You don't want to do that.
- 33:29- Didn't want to do that.
- 33:30- Did you want to do that?
- 33:31- Did you want to have the foundation?
- 33:33- Yeah, I don't want to make it on a deal.
- 33:35You know, I'm like, I have to go find someone else.
- 33:37It's gonna be another headache, you know,
- 33:39kind of rollercoaster.
- 33:40I think that's the thing about what those two,
- 33:42know about.
- 33:43- I think a lot.
- 33:44- Yeah.
- 33:45- You think about everything she has to go through
- 33:46or she had a date again.
- 33:46- Yeah.
- 33:47- She had to do the background check,
- 33:48just security check.
- 33:49- Can you guys hear that?
- 33:50- I'm the dating scene.
- 33:51- And so.
- 33:52- Yeah.
- 33:53- I would hope she would just get some like,
- 33:54really young hot man.
- 33:57- Oh, yeah.
- 33:57- Just got a pull boy.
- 33:58- Yeah.
- 33:59- Get a pull boy.
- 34:00- Get a pull boy.
- 34:01- Get a pull boy.
- 34:02- Where has he been?
- 34:02Is he in the industry?
- 34:03- He's been dating anybody now?
- 34:05- You know what I was, I know I saw him at some kind of event.
- 34:09They were, you know, he was there doing,
- 34:11I think it wasn't Miley Cyrus's New Year's Eve party.
- 34:14- I think that was, they took a couple of years ago.
- 34:16- No, that was last year.
- 34:17- I saw him in a stand up, I saw him in Phoenix last year.
- 34:22- Okay.
- 34:23- He was hilarious.
- 34:23- Yeah, he's done a stand up in the TV show
- 34:26on the peacock.
- 34:28- I liked it.
- 34:29- So it was good, it was cute.
- 34:30- Yeah.
- 34:31- I don't know what he's doing now.
- 34:33I mean, I think that's the thing.
- 34:34Stars are so lucky they can go disappear for a while
- 34:38and get cleaned up and lose weight, do everything
- 34:40like that and come back.
- 34:41- Right, yeah.
- 34:42- And it's like, you know, we do that now.
- 34:45We're like, whoah, like, where you been?
- 34:47- You're fired.
- 34:48- Dude, I would love to just like, disappear for months.
- 34:52Come back and just, foot, heel, 30 pounds, gong.
- 34:57- Right.
- 34:58- Everything just ready to go.
- 35:00- That's what I'm saying.
- 35:01- They're making it so.
- 35:02- Yeah.
- 35:02- But Dave was in the out.
- 35:04So, but that was, yeah, that was a really good,
- 35:06that we wrapped it right from.
- 35:08- Love that.
- 35:09(dramatic music)
- 35:14- Now, who was a not the nicest person?
- 35:17- An unpleasant interview.
- 35:19- Yeah.
- 35:19- Or just interaction.
- 35:21- Trying to think about it.
- 35:23- You can see so without getting.
- 35:25- Probably.
- 35:26- You could, you could blind item it too.
- 35:27- Probably do.
- 35:28- Oh, you could blind item it too.
- 35:29- You could be like, how we did with unnamed man earlier.
- 35:32- Yeah, but no, I would probably say, like, interview wise,
- 35:37I don't think I've had any bad interview people.
- 35:40Like, I'd never really had anybody.
- 35:42- Be a diva.
- 35:43- Oh, I can.
- 35:44- I'm very lucky with that.
- 35:45- Yeah.
- 35:46- But I will say afterwards, that's the part.
- 35:48So, I'd say Mike Tyson is probably the one that really.
- 35:52- You seem like he'd be very friendly, dude.
- 35:54I don't know.
- 35:55- So, Dave, I'd say Mike Tyson's story when I was here last time.
- 35:58- I don't think so.
- 35:59- Well, you haven't heard it.
- 35:59- You haven't heard it.
- 36:00- But, did I say it by time I might take some time?
- 36:02- Did we have Mike Tyson and last time?
- 36:03- No.
- 36:04- Did we have him on?
- 36:05- We haven't had him on yet.
- 36:06- Not yet.
- 36:07- He's nice.
- 36:08- Be careful with Mike.
- 36:09- Maybe with the Jake Paul fight.
- 36:10- Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:11That's crazy right there.
- 36:13- I want him to kick Jake Paul's ass.
- 36:15- It's going to hurt me.
- 36:15- Oh my God, I want him to kick Paul's ass.
- 36:17- Yeah, that means, well, okay.
- 36:20How can he still get punched in the head?
- 36:22- Oh my God.
- 36:23- And be physically operating a body.
- 36:27- That's what I'm saying.
- 36:28- I didn't wear it to the CT.
- 36:30- He was beaten up by the people.
- 36:31He really wasn't getting hit.
- 36:32- Yeah.
- 36:33- But he's just, he's just, I want Jake Paul to like,
- 36:37he's called him and shit his pants.
- 36:38I want it to be bad.
- 36:40- You know what I want?
- 36:40- I want him to lose both of the ass.
- 36:41- So this is a great, I forgot what the podcast was,
- 36:44but it was when Mike Tyson was introducing
- 36:46his new weed strand.
- 36:48- Mm-hmm.
- 36:49- And so the guy with him is like, you know,
- 36:52let's try this weed and I think,
- 36:53and Mike's like, sure, let's do it.
- 36:55And all of a sudden they do it.
- 36:56They go, okay, we'll be back.
- 36:57We're going to go have a smoke and everything like that.
- 37:00So they smoke and they come back and Mike's like,
- 37:04dude, I'm so glad to be back here, man.
- 37:06This is so awesome.
- 37:07And last month when we were here together,
- 37:09it was really cool.
- 37:10I think guys like, Mike, month, it was just 25 minutes ago.
- 37:14(laughing)
- 37:16- How much did you smoke?
- 37:18Like what's going on here?
- 37:19- The CT's, CT.
- 37:21- Yeah, like that sounds like--
- 37:22- It's actually fair that sounds like me when I smoke.
- 37:24It's been 17 hours.
- 37:26Sean has been authorizing a lot of meds of full calendar month.
- 37:31- Yeah, that's true.
- 37:32- That's a big spread.
- 37:33- But Tyson was--
- 37:34- It's been six years.
- 37:35- My experience with Tyson was that when I was doing
- 37:38the morning show, he lived here in town,
- 37:39like right by the station.
- 37:41So I'm at the grocery store and I hear,
- 37:44Brad, Brad Perry.
- 37:45(laughing)
- 37:47- That's a good one.
- 37:48- Brad Perry and I'm like,
- 37:49- I'm like,
- 37:50- Brad, hey, come here, let me talk to you, come here.
- 37:52- It's my Tyson.
- 37:53- Yeah.
- 37:54- So I'm like, "Oh, my Tyson's right here."
- 37:55So I come over like, yeah, he goes,
- 37:57I just wanna say, I like your show.
- 37:59You're funny, you're a funny guy.
- 38:01I get up and more, you're pretty cool, man.
- 38:03- That's amazing.
- 38:04- Take care.
- 38:05And I'm like, "Okay, just don't bite me."
- 38:06- Yeah.
- 38:07- That's what I mean.
- 38:07- Don't bite me, don't hit me.
- 38:09And don't like,
- 38:09and so I'm like, "Oh, thanks, Mike.
- 38:10This is great."
- 38:11You're awesome, you're like that.
- 38:13And so he was with one of his handlers that I knew.
- 38:15And so I'm like, "Hey, man, how you doing great?"
- 38:16And I'm like, "Okay, cool."
- 38:18Mike thinks like, "Yeah, man, well, you're awesome."
- 38:21The next night was a celebrity basketball game
- 38:24used to have down at the arena.
- 38:27And I am there with everything
- 38:29to open people up a head brand or a thing.
- 38:30And I see Mike and I'm like,
- 38:31"Oh, let me go and say my mic, come on."
- 38:32Hey, I go, "Hey, Mr. Tyson, how you doing?"
- 38:35What the fuck do you want?
- 38:36(laughing)
- 38:37Get the hell away from me.
- 38:38What the hell? Who are you?
- 38:41You want a fuck? I'll be here.
- 38:43Oh my god.
- 38:44And I was like, "What in the world?"
- 38:46You said I'd be yesterday.
- 38:48Exactly. Oh my god.
- 38:49And I was like, "What in the world's cool?"
- 38:51And I was like, "That's that CTE CTE CTE."
- 38:53And Mike Tyson, that was technically like 30 years later.
- 38:57That's the thing.
- 38:58You know?
- 38:59Like, or like before NewMe.
- 39:01If we take the 25 minutes to 30 days,
- 39:04that's true. That's the whole day.
- 39:05That's like 30 years for him.
- 39:08You know?
- 39:09Crazy.
- 39:10So I was like, "What's going on?"
- 39:11And his hand was like, "Just walk away, Brandon."
- 39:13Was it so mad?
- 39:14Yeah.
- 39:15Yeah. I know the guy is like, "Sorry, man."
- 39:16He kind of was like, "Okay."
- 39:18But he was used to Mike having these loose wings and stuff.
- 39:21And so, but that was the craziest one where I was like,
- 39:24"Oh my god."
- 39:25Because like other people, I will see like, you know,
- 39:28my John Kelly who does a funny, should ask.
- 39:32And I know John for a long time.
- 39:33But I might not see John like,
- 39:34I see him once a year at the Oscar Prize.
- 39:36Yeah.
- 39:37And I know that I'm out there.
- 39:38And we're like, we never missed a beat.
- 39:40Like I see him here and there.
- 39:41Like, that's the kind of thing.
- 39:42But like, Mike, I just saw him the whole day.
- 39:44One day.
- 39:45One day.
- 39:46One day.
- 39:47He's like, "Get the, I mean, it'll way through."
- 39:49It was crazy.
- 39:50So, yeah.
- 39:51But that was, that's probably the worst.
- 39:54I think Mike Tyson being like, "I'll be your ass."
- 39:59Is, "Counsis, the worst celebrity experience."
- 40:02That was, I would run.
- 40:04Maybe one of the buss.
- 40:05Like, I get to take the bus.
- 40:06- I like to tell this story. - Yeah, now are we sure?
- 40:08It was Mike Tyson, you know? (laughing)
- 40:11- It was the obstacle. - It was the god.
- 40:14(laughing)
- 40:16- It was Mike, which was great.
- 40:21And I think, no, I mean,
- 40:23I've been very lucky to me a lot of people.
- 40:25I mean, you know, gosh, I'm trying to think that,
- 40:28you know, the people I liked to meet actually,
- 40:30would be Lenny Kravitz and-- - And I'd like to meet him too.
- 40:34- Right, Lenny Kravitz. - That's why,
- 40:35that's the best spot I've ever met.
- 40:36- Emily Sibote and Zoe Kravitz.
- 40:38- Literally the whole family. - Literally the whole family.
- 40:41- They're just all so beautiful.
- 40:42- They're all favorite beautiful people.
- 40:44- Yeah, my god. - Yeah.
- 40:45- I know Jason Mos, I don't know what's on with him.
- 40:47I don't know why he got rid of her.
- 40:48I don't like him and love with, and I've always been,
- 40:51is Cree Summer.
- 40:53She was with a different world.
- 40:55Yes, beautiful. - I think it was what I was going to do.
- 40:56- I'm going to go on Cree Summer.
- 40:58- Okay. - Love her.
- 40:59I'm like, that's who also I liked to meet.
- 41:00If I can just, you know, just go with it.
- 41:02- How do you spell Cree?
- 41:03- C-R-E-E Summer. - Okay.
- 41:06- Cree Summer. - Yeah, it's going to be a fair.
- 41:08- Beautiful as anything.
- 41:10- Who's going to be the first?
- 41:10- I was the most strikingly attractive.
- 41:14- Oh, I've, yes.
- 41:16- Oh, yes. - Yeah, Cree Summer.
- 41:18- That fashion. - Yeah, fashion.
- 41:19- Striculous. - Striculous.
- 41:21- I mean, I've.
- 41:22- We're just like that person has like a presence.
- 41:24- Gosh, I'm trying to think.
- 41:27- I'm putting it on the spot.
- 41:30- How are you, Barry?
- 41:31- Oh, I'm like, this is amazing.
- 41:33And I've. - When did you meet her near Catwoman time?
- 41:35- No, I met her during using times.
- 41:38- I met her during using times.
- 41:39- She was so beautiful, and she was like,
- 41:41"Wake with monsters, Bob!"
- 41:44- She was, it's right around the same time.
- 41:46- Yeah, it was like, give her take a two-year costume.
- 41:47- Yeah, I met her during Luz and Isaiah.
- 41:50So we were, I worked on Luz and Isaiah,
- 41:51and I have this amazing picture actually
- 41:54of her and my daughter,
- 41:55when my daughter was just a baby.
- 41:56- Oh, that's amazing.
- 41:57- And it's her, her holding Olivia, my daughter.
- 42:00And she's fine. - Oh, no.
- 42:01- I was there.
- 42:02- Yeah.
- 42:03- But the best, the autograph says,
- 42:06"Olivier, you will not remember this day,
- 42:08but this is the day I fell in love with you."
- 42:09- Oh, it's like, "Jorable."
- 42:11- It was awesome.
- 42:12It was a great.
- 42:13- I know anything like that from Halle Berry.
- 42:15- Yeah, thanks, parents.
- 42:16- Thanks, my dad.
- 42:18- I'm in bed.
- 42:19So, yeah, but I mean, she's,
- 42:21Halle Berry definitely striking, beautiful.
- 42:23And I'm trying to think who, I mean,
- 42:25I think if I, I think I'd probably fall apart
- 42:28with what's her name from America's Got Talent.
- 42:33What's her name?
- 42:34Who does all the costumes and stuff?
- 42:36- Paul Abdul?
- 42:37- No, no, no.
- 42:38- That's American Idol.
- 42:39You stand on that one.
- 42:40- What's her name?
- 42:41- America's Got Talent.
- 42:41- Australian.
- 42:43- Oh, Heidi Klum.
- 42:43- Thank you.
- 42:44- Oh my goodness.
- 42:45- Heidi Klum.
- 42:46- Heidi Klum's Halloween costumes.
- 42:48That's when I want to meet her.
- 42:49I want to meet her when she's in full on warm.
- 42:51- Oh, okay.
- 42:52- Right.
- 42:53- So that's what she's like kind of.
- 42:54- That's what she's like kind of.
- 42:55- She would be very,
- 42:56I think I would be this like, oh my God.
- 42:58- Oh my God.
- 42:59(laughing)
- 43:01- Yeah.
- 43:02- Yeah.
- 43:03- Yeah.
- 43:04- That would be me if I met Lady Gaga.
- 43:07I like to think that I'm a pretty articulate person,
- 43:10but if I met Gaga, it'd be Jen.
- 43:12- But you know, these people, you could meet,
- 43:14you know that, you know they walk around.
- 43:15- Yeah.
- 43:16- I mean like New York City maybe.
- 43:18- Or anywhere when they come out here,
- 43:19you know they come to Phoenix a lot.
- 43:20- Yeah.
- 43:21- That's where.
- 43:22- There's a lot of you.
- 43:23- Alicia Keys lives right here in Paradise Valley.
- 43:24- Oh my God.
- 43:25- Walking around.
- 43:26- I'm like, oh my God.
- 43:27- Yeah.
- 43:27- We're just gonna go on a hot girl walk
- 43:30in Paradise Valley, you know.
- 43:32- So I tell you one person I know is very stunning
- 43:34that did take my breath away in person is Robin Wright.
- 43:38- Robin Wright.
- 43:39- Yes, Robin Wright.
- 43:40- Oh.
- 43:41- Yes.
- 43:41- So I lived in Holoja when I was living in San Diego
- 43:45and I go to a little taco place called Rubios.
- 43:48- Mm.
- 43:49- And she's there.
- 43:50And she's there by herself.
- 43:51And this is the funny thing was,
- 43:53this is when she got the haircut
- 43:55for House of Cards.
- 43:57- House of Cards and no one knew it yet, right?
- 43:58- Yeah.
- 43:59- And it was like before it.
- 44:00So I'm looking, I'm going.
- 44:00- You had the scoop.
- 44:01- I saw it and I was like,
- 44:02oh my God, this girl's beautiful.
- 44:03Was she like, who's this lady?
- 44:04I'm like, oh my God.
- 44:05- Yay.
- 44:06- I'm like, you're just small back of me.
- 44:08- Oh God.
- 44:09I was gonna ask you about Robin Wright show,
- 44:11but you go ahead.
- 44:12- Oh, Rob, about House of Cards?
- 44:13- Yeah, what do you think of the final season?
- 44:15- Terrible.
- 44:16- Okay, there it is.
- 44:17- Terrible.
- 44:18- Yeah, that was terrible.
- 44:19- They, they.
- 44:20- It was so good.
- 44:21- They're the first two seasons.
- 44:25- This is a phenomenal show.
- 44:27- But you thought Kevin's face either.
- 44:29- Yeah, I mean.
- 44:30- Why, Kevin, why?
- 44:31- I know, right?
- 44:32- It's so good.
- 44:33- It's so good.
- 44:33- It's so good.
- 44:34- It's so good.
- 44:35- It's so good.
- 44:36- It's so good.
- 44:37- And it changed all around because of him.
- 44:38- Yeah, really?
- 44:39- And like it's like, oh, but I think they could have
- 44:40did a lot better in like really turning her
- 44:41into a good story.
- 44:42- Well, I think, yeah, I think what happened with that
- 44:43was I think with the problem with Kevin,
- 44:46they had to make it not so bad anymore.
- 44:49'Cause everything he was doing was like almost like a real
- 44:51life thing.
- 44:52- Yeah.
- 44:53- I think they had to make her kind of like,
- 44:54okay, we'll end it this way.
- 44:55But I would love to see her actually be even worse
- 44:58than him.
- 44:59- That's what I'm saying.
- 45:00And then they made her, she got pregnant, which is so
- 45:02funny, 'cause the whole show, they make such a big deal
- 45:05that she's like child-free by choice.
- 45:07She went through her abortion storyline.
- 45:09And I hate it when like women on shows who go,
- 45:12who are staunchly like, I don't want any kids,
- 45:15get pregnant for a plotline.
- 45:16- Yeah.
- 45:17- But I hate that it's so easy.
- 45:19- Yeah.
- 45:20- And then obviously they had to kill him off camera.
- 45:22They couldn't bring him back.
- 45:23- It was like crazy.
- 45:25- That's what I'm saying.
- 45:26You guys see a man fall.
- 45:27I mean, full.
- 45:28I think that's what's called a man fall.
- 45:29- Okay, we'll check it out.
- 45:30- It's good.
- 45:31- Okay.
- 45:32- And the ending is amazing.
- 45:34- And it's Netflix.
- 45:35- It's Netflix and it's Jeff Daniels.
- 45:37- Okay, so we're about nine lashes.
- 45:39- In Arubios with Rob and Rates.
- 45:41- Yes, oh sorry.
- 45:42- I know, I know, I know.
- 45:43- I was so sorry.
- 45:44- I was so sorry.
- 45:45- I was saying we were in the whole.
- 45:47I'm there and so I see her.
- 45:51I'm like, wow, she's beautiful.
- 45:52I was just like, I was like,
- 45:54sir, can I help you?
- 45:55(laughing)
- 45:57- Fish off the place.
- 45:58- Yeah, can I get a window?
- 46:00And she's giggling when she's like,
- 46:02she probably knew she was like,
- 46:03just so she got her food and she went over
- 46:06and sat down by herself in this booth.
- 46:08And I was just like, okay.
- 46:10(laughing)
- 46:12You know what, sir, to go please?
- 46:14(laughing)
- 46:16- I'm gonna get out of here.
- 46:17It's like Oprah, I'm running with the truck.
- 46:19- Oh, my God.
- 46:20(laughing)
- 46:21And so, that's part, so I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 46:23this will be, so I get home, my son
- 46:25who lived me at the time I was there.
- 46:27I'm like, oh my God, I'm the most
- 46:28almost beautiful girl in the world.
- 46:30It's like amazing.
- 46:32He's like, oh yeah, it's like, oh, okay dad,
- 46:34that's cool and I like that.
- 46:35And then like, actually,
- 46:37well actually at that time,
- 46:38he goes, oh look,
- 46:40- The truck dropped.
- 46:41- You have a trailer drop for House of Cars,
- 46:43a new one, because we watch it.
- 46:44- Yeah.
- 46:45- So, that's why I just saw.
- 46:46- Oh my God.
- 46:47- That's Robin, right?
- 46:48Yeah, that's Robin Ray.
- 46:49He goes, yeah dad, she like,
- 46:52lives up the street,
- 46:53her, she went to La Jolla at my high school.
- 46:55(laughing)
- 46:56She was at the high school like today.
- 46:57I'm like, what?
- 46:58- Yeah, that's amazing.
- 46:59- Yeah, she was, she was in the art
- 47:00theater department just saying hi to us.
- 47:01Hey, I'm like, oh wow.
- 47:03Dude, you got a meal.
- 47:04- So, God, I've been there.
- 47:05- Yeah, I'm like, dude, you got it.
- 47:06- I've done that.
- 47:07- Robin Ray.
- 47:08- But that was just a stunning,
- 47:10I think I had a meal.
- 47:11- I can't actually meet her then after that.
- 47:13- No, no, that's what I'm saying.
- 47:15- You don't make that happen.
- 47:16- Robin, is it here?
- 47:18- Yeah, my loose.
- 47:19- A formal introduction, go to Rian.
- 47:20- Robin Ray also down the interview.
- 47:22Densel Washington,
- 47:24Lenny Krabitz.
- 47:25- Yeah, that'd be amazing.
- 47:27- Zoe be good.
- 47:28- Yeah.
- 47:29- Obamalist would be great.
- 47:31- Oh my God.
- 47:32- You know, I want to knit with Michelle Obama.
- 47:34I'm a knitter.
- 47:34- Oh, really?
- 47:35- Yes, I knit.
- 47:36And I would,
- 47:37- So you get to like study the mind
- 47:39or have like a thing to do?
- 47:40Or you just do make creations?
- 47:42- I make hats.
- 47:43- Oh.
- 47:44- Meenie's, okay.
- 47:45- I want a bra, are you original?
- 47:46- Do you?
- 47:47- Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:48- All right, it's that season.
- 47:50- That's the rest of it.
- 47:50- That's the next season.
- 47:51- That season.
- 47:52- That season.
- 47:53- Okay.
- 47:54- Those mean, you know,
- 47:55summer Phoenix months need a knitter.
- 47:57- And you know what,
- 47:57the knits is in Zendaya.
- 48:00It's in Zendaya.
- 48:01- Oh my God.
- 48:01- She killed it.
- 48:02- She killed it.
- 48:03- She killed it.
- 48:04- Yeah.
- 48:05- But she always does my God.
- 48:06- I texted Olivia last night.
- 48:07Just like, can we please talk about the bad guy?
- 48:09- Yeah, I mean, while I'm at like a trade show for accountants,
- 48:13and I'm just like looking at my phone,
- 48:16like, yes.
- 48:17- What?
- 48:17- Oh my God, why would she wear that?
- 48:18That's so ugly.
- 48:19- Yes, let's talk about saving money on taxes.
- 48:22- Yeah, so it's stupid.
- 48:23- All right, let's back up to a trade show for accountants.
- 48:26- Oh yeah.
- 48:27- She was a day job.
- 48:27I have a day job.
- 48:28- What kind of trade show is there for accountants?
- 48:32- Yeah, so it was like,
- 48:34it was like all of the softwares you could buy,
- 48:37like, and really anything that would touch the accounting industry,
- 48:41I referred tax advisory software company.
- 48:44- Okay, so that's even better,
- 48:45where you actually spend money that you weren't like,
- 48:47you're accountant, aren't you supposed to save people money?
- 48:50- Yeah, no, so you guess it's crazy.
- 48:53- Yeah, that's why I have a job, so I like it.
- 48:55- Okay, you get to try the Vegas.
- 48:57- Yeah, I get to go to Vegas, but yeah, no, I think.
- 49:00- But there's conventions, there's accountant conventions.
- 49:02I think she's been talking numbers and stuff as a way to do it.
- 49:04- Yeah, well, yeah, some of it's like education,
- 49:06but a lot of it's like, it was very like finance,
- 49:10bro, like, shmuz,
- 49:13- Finance, it's spend a bunch of money.
- 49:15- You spend a bunch of money.
- 49:16- That's actually cool to be a accountant.
- 49:17- No, I'm not.
- 49:18- She's not a accountant.
- 49:19- No, I'm a content designer.
- 49:21- Oh, okay, oh, okay, that's all I need.
- 49:23- I'm in a way to claim in my account.
- 49:25- I was like, yeah, yeah, I was like,
- 49:26"No, no, hey, tour accounts."
- 49:27- Yeah, never mind the accountants, we love you.
- 49:29- A little hey, I'm just kidding.
- 49:32(laughing)
- 49:33- No, yeah, so I'm in marketing, so.
- 49:35- So now you're over, okay, now I see why.
- 49:37- Yeah, hence the trade show.
- 49:38- There you go, okay, yeah.
- 49:39- That's all right, now it makes sense.
- 49:40- Yes.
- 49:41- So.
- 49:42- Did you see any cute finance pals?
- 49:44- There were some, but, you know,
- 49:46I'm not gonna shoot my shout out at a work conference,
- 49:49you know?
- 49:49- Yeah, no, that's shady.
- 49:50- And there were no Robin writes in the round.
- 49:53- There were no Robin writes in the round.
- 49:54- That's what's given to you for.
- 49:56- That's kind of work of intervention.
- 49:57- Oh, I thought that the other movies I watched,
- 49:59and all the things.
- 50:00- This guy, he was like 50, and his friend,
- 50:04like his coworker was like 30.
- 50:05- 50's, no, no, no, that's not it.
- 50:08(laughter)
- 50:09- Or it's not just to him, so he's like 50.
- 50:10- Why was we saying 50?
- 50:11- He's like 50 and married, and then he's sitting next
- 50:13to like his coworker, he's like 30 or whatever.
- 50:16And this man thought we were gonna be soulmates,
- 50:19and was like trying. - 50 year old dude?
- 50:21- Yes, he was like trying to get us together.
- 50:23He was like, you're coming over here to this party
- 50:25with free food, though.
- 50:26- Oh, the 30 year old guy and the whole thing.
- 50:28- Yeah, he's trying to get me with this guy.
- 50:29- Oh, I thought it was a 50 year old guy
- 50:29who was trying to make you the soulmate.
- 50:31- She might be more into that.
- 50:32(laughter)
- 50:33- Yeah, okay, so he was trying to get the 30 year old,
- 50:36you two did it, yeah, so I'm like, oh.
- 50:37- He made it his life's mission.
- 50:39- Oh man. - He was really going into it.
- 50:41- Was it you?
- 50:42- It wasn't my type.
- 50:44- Oh, right.
- 50:45- So he wasn't you.
- 50:46- I would say he's conventionally attractive to most people.
- 50:51- So you're saying it's a couple of drinks?
- 50:52- He's like a little new to other people.
- 50:53- You're talking about these drinks attractive.
- 50:55- I do, no. - You're talking, you know what?
- 50:56He was last call.
- 50:57(laughter)
- 50:58- Yeah, like, you know. - Last call, we had to have.
- 51:00- If I'm really squinting.
- 51:01- Yeah. - I'm talking, I'm talking about other.
- 51:03- Yeah, actually I saw his bank account.
- 51:05- Yeah, it'd be as cute.
- 51:08- Yeah, maybe he was like, okay, well.
- 51:10- Yeah, I know that he did throw that in there.
- 51:13He's like, look, I'm a boss, you make a lot of money.
- 51:16(laughter)
- 51:17- How much is a lot of money?
- 51:18- I didn't go that far.
- 51:19- Exactly, you should have asked.
- 51:21- I wasn't gonna go down into the dollars in the sense.
- 51:24- What? - I wasn't willing to come to the table.
- 51:26- I was in the pharmacy, I was in the pharmacy.
- 51:27- I was in the pharmacy.
- 51:28- I was in the pharmacy.
- 51:29- That was last time.
- 51:31- I guess.
- 51:32- I got it.
- 51:33- We're in this hospital, you know, bring out the,
- 51:35bring out the weather soon.
- 51:36- Yeah.
- 51:37- What's going on?
- 51:38- Just kidding, the emergency case.
- 51:40- When we were in Newport, we met this guy
- 51:42who was going on about how rich he was.
- 51:45He was, well, I'm best friends with Andy Dick.

- 52:21- Yeah, you're like, show me you know these people, yeah.
- 52:23- I don't know if Andy Dick could get us in any,
- 52:26for example, in Newport Beach.
- 52:27- Yeah, I probably not.
- 52:29- If he's there with you, he's the one who's the one who's the one.
- 52:31- Yeah, if he's there with us, that's true, he's probably.
- 52:33- He's probably gonna get some trouble.
- 52:34- I'd rather pay than be in that kind of danger.
- 52:37(laughing)
- 52:38- You're not paying that guy with Andy Dick.
- 52:40- No, yeah, it's gonna hurt.
- 52:42- It would be fine, it would be fine.
- 52:43- I feel like it makes a name.
- 52:45- And real one could have won so much for you.
- 52:47- I had a blast in Santa Monica with Andy Dick.
- 52:49- Okay.
- 52:51- After a little comedy thing we did.
- 52:53- Oh no.
- 52:54- And he's like, let's go get some pizza.
- 52:55And I just met him, I was like, okay, let's go.
- 52:57And we're going down the Santa Monica boardwalk
- 53:00like in the area and stuff.
- 53:02And he's just like, hey, what's happening?
- 53:04Grand people's drinks drinking area.
- 53:05- Yeah, yeah.
- 53:06- Oh, what's up, give me some money, I'm Andy Dick.
- 53:08- Yeah.
- 53:08- Girl, come here, I'm like,
- 53:09- Yeah, I think I'm gonna be back in the day.
- 53:11That's when you get away with it and stuff.
- 53:13Then we get to the pizza place and he's like, listen.
- 53:16I'm standing here, you guys give me a large pizza.
- 53:18(laughing)
- 53:19I'm like, what?
- 53:20- You just begin like the great, like he like got off
- 53:23on like just like getting stuff for free.
- 53:25- Yeah, it was crazy.
- 53:27- It was crazy, but also to a very sweet guy.
- 53:29I will say he wants to, you know,
- 53:31- It just says his vices.
- 53:33- Yeah.
- 53:34- Maybe we should hang out with Andy Dick.
- 53:36- Yeah, he would have the private of heaven.
- 53:37- Yeah, so he's--
- 53:38- It wouldn't make good podcast content.
- 53:39- Yeah, do it for the bit.
- 53:41- Do it for the bit.
- 53:42- Oh, thank you, do it for the grand.
- 53:43- Oh, it's a do it for the podcast.
- 53:45- Do it for the podcast.
- 53:46- Do it for the podcast.
- 53:47- Yes, for the podcast.
- 53:48- But let's come back to, I want,
- 53:50you know, you got me talking here.
- 53:51'Cause like ladies, this is like your opportunity,
- 53:54like just to get right to the point.
- 53:55You could literally said, what's his bank account?
- 53:58- Yeah.
- 53:59- But let's talk here.
- 54:00(laughing)
- 54:00- All right, you guys got that power now.
- 54:02- Yeah.
- 54:03- Like it's no longer like me, you know,
- 54:04I don't know, I don't want to go down that hole.
- 54:06No, go down that hole.
- 54:07- Yeah.
- 54:07- You can always say no, see you.
- 54:08- Yeah.
- 54:09- You can literally, or you can have fun with them.
- 54:10- Yeah.
- 54:11- That's true.
- 54:12- You know, I mean, you can make that more early
- 54:14the next day.
- 54:15- I don't know.
- 54:16- I didn't say to go home with the way you go like that.
- 54:18I just said you just get to--
- 54:19- Get free.
- 54:19- First of all, it's negotiated.
- 54:21- Yeah, it's understanding the information.
- 54:24You're right, you're right.
- 54:25- You're right.
- 54:26- And where do you live?
- 54:27Where was he from?
- 54:28- It's San Diego.
- 54:29- Hello.
- 54:30- Yeah.
- 54:31- It is hot here.
- 54:32- Yeah.
- 54:33- You have a summer place.
- 54:34- I gotta find a way to go.
- 54:35- I wanna go home.
- 54:36- You have a summer place, I'll set for you.
- 54:38- Yeah, he's like, for us.
- 54:39You should have done this for us.
- 54:41- Okay.
- 54:42- Okay.
- 54:42- All right, we take that with the P-chiles.
- 54:44- That would be doing it.
- 54:48- Yeah, doing what?
- 54:49- Doing the best thing for everyone.
- 54:53- For our friendship.
- 54:54- Yeah.
- 54:55- For everyone.
- 54:56I would be like, oh hey, we're taking the P-chiles
- 54:58to San Diego because that's where my guy is.
- 55:00Let's go.
- 55:01- Yeah.
- 55:02- I would love that.
- 55:03- Oh my God.
- 55:04- That's where our--
- 55:05- That's where our guy is.
- 55:06- I'm sure it is this thing.
- 55:07It's from House of Gucci, right?
- 55:09Where every single time our husband goes, like,
- 55:11oh, that's mine.
- 55:12Or like, I just got this and she wants it.
- 55:15His show is go.
- 55:17- Our test list, we think--
- 55:18- I'm checking the test list today and I'm like,
- 55:20I'm checking my test list today.
- 55:21I'm gonna go, um, our test list is VP.
- 55:24Our test list.
- 55:25(laughing)
- 55:27- I just do that all the time.
- 55:29- Our guy in San Diego,
- 55:31(laughing)
- 55:33- I did have a friend who wanted to date a guy with a boat
- 55:38just so we could all go on a boat together.
- 55:42- I didn't have a happen.
- 55:43And I would have loved that.
- 55:44- Why not?
- 55:45Why they?
- 55:46- She just couldn't find a nice--
- 55:48- A decent guy with a decent boat.
- 55:51I don't know.
- 55:51- Maybe a boat bad guy.
- 55:54(laughing)
- 55:55- Great guy shouldn't have a bad guy.
- 55:57- I was like, you know what I'm saying?
- 55:59- You don't know boat.
- 56:00- Like, you know boat are all--
- 56:01- We're all the great men with great boat.
- 56:03- They just got a paddle board.
- 56:06- They're the best paddle board ever.
- 56:07- They're the best paddle board ever.
- 56:09- I like that.
- 56:10- It's like a short break.
- 56:11(dramatic music)
- 56:16- And we're back on the "How Cold You're Junkie" podcast
- 56:18with Brad Perry.
- 56:20(laughing)
- 56:21- That was good, that was like a good idea.
- 56:23- That was nice.
- 56:24- Did you ever have a--
- 56:25- I am B.D. Carter for the audible audio both of you.
- 56:28- I was just about to mention that.
- 56:29- Did you draw a notebook?
- 56:30- I did a meditation app.
- 56:33- Ooh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
- 56:35- She's good for that.
- 56:36- I was killing it.
- 56:36- You can go with the limping level.
- 56:38- Yeah, let me see.
- 56:39- You're driving down a mountainous path.
- 56:42(laughing)
- 56:43- The water creaks, trickling besides you.
- 56:46You pull over.
- 56:49There's a hitchhiker.
- 56:50You pick them up.
- 56:52- And the truck's there somehow.
- 56:53(laughing)
- 56:55- There was a hitchhiker.
- 56:56It was something about driving down a mountainous path.
- 56:58Oh, there's a small cabin with a crackling fireplace.
- 57:03You take off your shoes, settle in with a nice book
- 57:07for the evening.
- 57:08- Right, are you relaxed?
- 57:10- Are you relaxed?
- 57:10- I'm not real.
- 57:11- I'm so relaxed right now.
- 57:13- I'm so relaxed.
- 57:15- So we rad, eh?
- 57:16- Thank God there's no blackboard app.
- 57:17You're too much of a serum.
- 57:19(laughing)
- 57:21- Don't need a right answer on the board.
- 57:22Can't get up there, teacher.
- 57:23- That'll be relaxed.
- 57:24- Yes, that's more than relaxed.
- 57:26- Relaxation.
- 57:27- And if you like that, you should listen
- 57:30to our 50 Shades of Shrek episode
- 57:33where we're gonna read Gordon Ramsay's Shrek Fanfiction.
- 57:38- Wow.
- 57:39- You gotta fan-fick it up, then I.
- 57:40- I read, uh, SpongeBob Gordon Ramsay.
- 57:44- I wanna give it to you, man.
- 57:45- I'm very, yeah, it was amazing.
- 57:47- Oh my god, it might be the wrong.
- 57:48She is episode we've ever had.
- 57:49- Yeah, we heard that.
- 57:50- We heard it, we heard it.
- 57:51- The picture on it is much more graphic.
- 57:53They, they named his, his, male juice.
- 57:58Lam, lam, lam, lam.
- 57:59- Lam butter or something, lam sauce.
- 58:01- Yeah, lam sauce.
- 58:02- Something absolutely related
- 58:03'cause it was going to be a long, long, long, long, long.
- 58:05- Wow.
- 58:06- Yeah, it's very fun.
- 58:07It's endlessly entertaining.
- 58:09- It's wild, it is like very, very poor writing.
- 58:14So you gotta go into it, no, fan fiction.
- 58:17- Yeah.
- 58:18- Where's his, who writes his story?
- 58:19- Okay, so fan fiction.
- 58:20- Mentioned teenage girls.
- 58:22(laughing)
- 58:23- We have a read-over-read it, right?
- 58:25- We know, we just read it.
- 58:26- We have a read-over-read it.
- 58:27- So you found it, the found the book.
- 58:28- Yes, yeah.
- 58:29- Okay, so it's like a walk-out.
- 58:30- I was gonna ask if you think there's Brad Perry fan-fick out there.
- 58:33- Ooh.
- 58:34- A brand-pair.
- 58:35- Brad Perry fan-fiction.
- 58:37- Ooh, I wonder.
- 58:38- Let's see.
- 58:39- I think there is.
- 58:39How do you find out?
- 58:40- I don't think there is.
- 58:41- He's like, she's doing it right now.
- 58:43- Oh my gosh, if there is,
- 58:46I will totally do the audiobook for that.
- 58:48(laughing)
- 58:49- We'll say there is.
- 58:51- Oh my God.
- 58:52- Do they make, do someone just make it up?
- 58:53Is it AI or what is it?
- 58:54- It's like this website called,
- 58:55- Is your middle name Steven?
- 58:57- No, but it will be.
- 58:58(laughing)
- 59:00- I don't think there's much support.
- 59:02- But another guy named Brad Perry.
- 59:03- Brad Lee Steven Perry, a fan-fick.
- 59:06So let's see, it's on Wattpad.
- 59:09- What is Wattpad?
- 59:10- So it's all these different websites
- 59:11where people can write.
- 59:13- Yeah.
- 59:13- So let's say.
- 59:14- What's it say?
- 59:15- Oh good.
- 59:16- That's Brad Lee Steven Perry.
- 59:17I think you're the morning until one for sure.
- 59:20- Yeah, we don't have it.
- 59:20So this guy writes it?
- 59:22- No, that's what it's about, I think.
- 59:25(laughing)
- 59:25- Start with an audition.
- 59:27(laughing)
- 59:28- Start with those, call me sometime, Brad is you.
- 59:30- So honestly, it can be the most random thing
- 59:33in the entire world.
- 59:34Like we were looking up,
- 59:37we just looked up Gordon Ramsay fan-fick
- 59:38and then we somehow stumbled into Shrek and Gordon Ramsay.
- 59:43So it can be anything.
- 59:44- Anything that I like Star Wars fan-fiction,
- 59:47so some of the movies didn't end the way I liked.
- 59:49- Yeah.
- 59:50- So people write their own endings
- 59:52or their own sexy scenes.
- 59:54- Yeah.
- 59:55- So it's not actually by the creators,
- 59:57but let's say, oh, I thought that was pretty terrible
- 1:00:00and the guy can do better than that fan-fiction.
- 1:00:02- It's not what it is.
- 1:00:03- It's like huge.
- 1:00:04It became really, really popular in the mid to 2010.
- 1:00:09- Like Tumblr and stuff with my Dottin Victory.
- 1:00:13- I'm doing to become an underwear malloc
- 1:00:15who can become a fan-fiction fan.
- 1:00:17- Yes, yeah.
- 1:00:18- Or somebody just watches you a lot on Arizona Daily Mix.
- 1:00:21- Yes.
- 1:00:22- You know, like, ooh, Brad Perry,
- 1:00:23I'm gonna write a steam scene about that guy.
- 1:00:25And then they can upload it to the internet
- 1:00:27and then anyone can read it.
- 1:00:28- And I'm not on there yet.
- 1:00:29- No, I didn't see you.
- 1:00:31- Oh, I'm not on there yet.
- 1:00:31- Everybody's listening.
- 1:00:32- Brad Perry, he's fan-fiction.
- 1:00:35- How about that?
- 1:00:36You write one.
- 1:00:38- Yeah, and then what do you write?
- 1:00:40- No, let's just do this.
- 1:00:41- No pressure.
- 1:00:42- How about this?
- 1:00:43Either way, right here,
- 1:00:45as we all know, we'll collaborate.
- 1:00:47- We'll collaborate.
- 1:00:48- All right.
- 1:00:49I'll read it.
- 1:00:50- Okay, okay.
- 1:00:50- Now we'll read the same job.
- 1:00:51- Do you want it to be PG-13?
- 1:00:54- Hey, we've seen the team.
- 1:00:57- We've seen the team.
- 1:00:58- We've seen the team.
- 1:00:59- We've seen the world take us where we've got us through there.
- 1:01:00- You take the team where to go.
- 1:01:01- That's true.
- 1:01:02- We'll creatively inspire.
- 1:01:03We feel creatively inspired.
- 1:01:05- We'll do it well, Brad.
- 1:01:07- And I guess I'm here, and you know what I do?
- 1:01:09'Cause I love doing to people.
- 1:01:11It's the best, and everyone needs to do this.
- 1:01:12I'm serious, I'm not doing this.
- 1:01:14I'll do it with my secret.
- 1:01:15It's a shock factor.
- 1:01:17It's the best thing in the world.
- 1:01:18So when I'm out and people know me,
- 1:01:21and other people don't know me,
- 1:01:22maybe they're visiting from out of town
- 1:01:23or whatever, even when I'm out of state, people see me.
- 1:01:25And they're like, oh my God, like,
- 1:01:27oh, hey, how are you?
- 1:01:28I'm like that.
- 1:01:29I'm like, oh great, can I get you out of there?
- 1:01:30Perfect.
- 1:01:31- I'm a sculler, and then people are like,
- 1:01:33so what do you do?
- 1:01:36- Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:37- And I'm like, oh, I do adult films.
- 1:01:39(laughing)
- 1:01:41- You don't understand how amazing that is to people.
- 1:01:46Yeah, right, 'cause you have some people that go,
- 1:01:49okay, let's start thinking,
- 1:01:52okay, let me think if I watch this person,
- 1:01:54where you have other people go,
- 1:01:56so how'd you get into it?
- 1:01:58And like, yeah, and it's, but it's crazy.
- 1:02:00- I would love to have an adult film star
- 1:02:03in the podcast and interview them.
- 1:02:05- Yeah.
- 1:02:06- Just to kind of like just see,
- 1:02:08how did you get into it?
- 1:02:09Like, what are the perks?
- 1:02:10Do you like it?
- 1:02:12- And again, a lot of them live here.
- 1:02:14- Yeah.
- 1:02:15- Yeah.
- 1:02:15- You wouldn't, I mean, that's, it's, like I said,
- 1:02:18then walk around and see them,
- 1:02:19like, it's Valley.
- 1:02:20- Yeah, or Glendale Gilbert.
- 1:02:22- Yeah.
- 1:02:23- So, if you're a Glendale porn star,
- 1:02:25please reach out to us.
- 1:02:27You would love it.
- 1:02:27- A Glendale or Gilbert?
- 1:02:29- Glendale was my home, technically.
- 1:02:31- Yeah, they're there.
- 1:02:32- Yeah.
- 1:02:33- You know, there was a big like spike in porn being made here
- 1:02:37in Phoenix where literally they had like shut it down.
- 1:02:40- Oh, I see.
- 1:02:40- So they were actually renting out houses in Gilbert
- 1:02:43in Chandler.
- 1:02:44- In Chandler.
- 1:02:45- And it was like webcam, like houses, yeah.
- 1:02:49- Yeah.
- 1:02:49- And so, but this is back in the day when they were making,
- 1:02:51'cause California had put a restriction on the porn.
- 1:02:55- Like, and just trying to get your ability to film, yeah.
- 1:02:59- Well, no, like for wearing condoms and different stuff like that.
- 1:03:03So they all came here to make the movies.
- 1:03:04- Oh, that makes sense.
- 1:03:06- Yeah.
- 1:03:07- So there's Arizona.
- 1:03:08- I have a, literally he was a two-time Oscar sound guy.
- 1:03:12And I had met way back.
- 1:03:15And when they had the strike, the first big strike
- 1:03:17with the industry, he was being a boom,
- 1:03:21he was a boom operator for porn.
- 1:03:23- Oh my God.
- 1:03:24- Yeah.
- 1:03:25- Did he like it?
- 1:03:26- He's like, I'm making more money doing,
- 1:03:28just holding up a whole thing.
- 1:03:29- Just holding up a whole thing.
- 1:03:30- I'm a two-time Oscar winner, sound person.
- 1:03:32- Yeah.
- 1:03:33- And I'm holding a boom.
- 1:03:34- Yeah.
- 1:03:34- And I'm making more money.
- 1:03:38- Yeah.
- 1:03:39- That's good for him.
- 1:03:40- I know.
- 1:03:41- Absolutely.
- 1:03:42- I'm like holy cow, but yeah.
- 1:03:43- I got the wrong business.
- 1:03:45- I mean, I've met them.
- 1:03:46I've never interviewed them.
- 1:03:47That might be, that would be,
- 1:03:48- That would be a lot of work.
- 1:03:49- That would be a lot of work.
- 1:03:50- We should try to do that.
- 1:03:51- How did this podcast go for?
- 1:03:52- I don't know.
- 1:03:53I'm an airbent Olivia Goddard.
- 1:03:55- This is the spot I ever under the dark side.
- 1:03:56- I know, well, I think it started out with us with the leather.
- 1:03:59- Yeah, the leather started with the plastic pouch,
- 1:04:02but then we had the leather.
- 1:04:04- I wouldn't have brought get fire while I was on the plot.
- 1:04:06- I produced a shopping shirt.
- 1:04:08- I put a shirt on the couch,
- 1:04:09and it solves that every day.
- 1:04:10(laughing)
- 1:04:11- I'm sure you like this size.
- 1:04:13(laughing)
- 1:04:16- When we read the Shrek fanfic, you know,
- 1:04:19that's what they really,
- 1:04:20- They're gonna get what I've done.
- 1:04:22- So yeah.
- 1:04:23- They're wondering how to be cleansed this room.
- 1:04:25- Yeah, I'm gonna do this.
- 1:04:26- Oh my god.
- 1:04:26- Oh my god.
- 1:04:27- All right, Brad.
- 1:04:29- What else can you tease us?
- 1:04:30What else do you have in the works besides the documentary?
- 1:04:33I mean, that's incredible.
- 1:04:34So you just had that, that's amazing.
- 1:04:36- But, you know what?
- 1:04:38Gosh.
- 1:04:39Hopefully, and maybe I don't jinx it,
- 1:04:42but producing my son's movie.
- 1:04:43- Oh, you said that, that's a movie.
- 1:04:44- Yeah, my son just, well, we did.
- 1:04:46We, Marlon Wands, produced his short.
- 1:04:50It's a horror short.

- 1:04:53- It's got Dundu and Chicago Horror Festival.
- 1:04:56Waiting for a couple more to come.

- 1:05:16- But no, so he has a film and we've been talking

- 1:09:19- Yeah, I think it's a lot with like,
- 1:09:20- I think it's a male simple.
- 1:09:22- People who, it's a lot on Twitch streamers.
- 1:09:25So like, a lot of females who Twitch stream,
- 1:09:29they'll have male followers who are simps,
- 1:09:31and all they have to do is get on camera and like,
- 1:09:34hi, and then they'll be,
- 1:09:35oh my God, thanks for the $100.

- 1:09:39- And I love that for them.
- 1:09:40- What is this, what's this world coming to?
- 1:09:43- I don't know, I think parasocial relationships
- 1:09:47are so interesting in the niche,
- 1:09:49parasocial relationships, which is what they call,
- 1:09:52like, kind of like people who think they know you.
- 1:09:57- Right.

- 1:10:00- Yeah, I have a parasocial relationship with you.
- 1:10:03- Trust me, question.
- 1:10:04- And yeah.

- 1:11:08Yeah, I think it's like, so yeah, I think it's a fine line
- 1:11:11that they can really follow.

- 1:11:16Like if you're lonely, you're,
