- 1:00Speaker 5: brain like I want to do each time. It's like
- 1:02Speaker 5: this beat, I gotta beat my mind. I'm gonna start
- 1:04Speaker 5: be boxing and rip wrapping in all those things.
- 1:06Speaker 4: So I'm excited. Oh if you start rapping, I.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Know you on one all my if I start be
- 1:11Speaker 5: boxing just that's the beat to your right, you are
- 1:13Speaker 5: old for that.
- 1:15Speaker 4: No one beat box anymore. What do you mean like
- 1:19Speaker 4: a hip? Is that a big B box? No, that's
- 1:21Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 1:22Speaker 5: So the new term, I think is like you know,
- 1:24Speaker 5: like the Pentatonics they do like where their their mouths.
- 1:29Speaker 5: That's the new modern version of it. So don't like
- 1:33Speaker 5: but you're still old whatever. It's okay, y'all, were we

- 1:43Speaker 5: Let me y'all buckle up, butter Cup, when you know,
- 1:46Speaker 5: when does rayed, you got your lace front on. You
- 1:52Speaker 5: mad to make sure that you got to glue down
- 1:54Speaker 5: if you're in your car if the okay, because we
- 1:59Speaker 5: about to go for a ride. I am not responsible
- 2:02Speaker 5: for what I'm sad and it's not not responsible. But
- 2:06Speaker 5: but if you if you hold on and you're listen
- 2:09Speaker 5: in this is he gonna bless your He's gonna bless
- 2:11Speaker 5: your life. He's gonna get you to a space where
- 2:13Speaker 5: you need to be mentally. Because we've only known him
- 2:16Speaker 5: for about three months now, deliary, and he has shifted
- 2:20Speaker 5: our mindset and so much so to the point where
- 2:24Speaker 5: we're not doing things for free anymore, like we have
- 2:26Speaker 5: put a price point on things that we are doing.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Shout out to increased media, the virtual the virtual option
- 2:33Speaker 5: for entrepreneurs to execute their podcast with Just and Daz
- 2:36Speaker 5: and So I am really excited to have my friend
- 2:41Speaker 5: who is a phenomenal, phenomenal speaker.
- 2:46Speaker 4: And my client. I loove Steve.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Okay, you know what, I'm honored to have Steve Wilmer,
- 2:59Speaker 5: host of three Percent Mindset podcasts.
- 3:03Speaker 4: I'm trying to give you this eloquick eloquises and client No.
- 3:09Speaker 2: And your client. Let people know I learned from you.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You teach me. I'm on board with Jess. Let's go,
- 3:15Speaker 2: come on, let's do it. Steve.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I just love you.
- 3:20Speaker 2: They's gotta get on board.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I'm telling y'all, y'all better just buckle up, okay, because
- 3:27Speaker 5: we're going for a ride. Like I said, I don't
- 3:31Speaker 5: I'm not responsible for all these conversations, but I know
- 3:35Speaker 5: it's going to be good because what Steve does is
- 3:38Speaker 5: the three percent Mindset podcast really gets people out of
- 3:40Speaker 5: that that ninety seven percent mindset to where we always
- 3:43Speaker 5: live in the Brooke, we always living to pay check
- 3:47Speaker 5: to paycheck, you guys. But also it's a mindset of
- 3:50Speaker 5: being free right, not just financial freedom, but mentally free,
- 3:55Speaker 5: emotionally free, spiritually free.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Because we are talking to a man of God. Steve,
- 4:00Speaker 4: how you doing today?
- 4:02Speaker 2: I am doing wonderful. It's so good to be here
- 4:05Speaker 2: with you. Guys. You have no idea. I've been looking
- 4:07Speaker 2: forward to this, and I'm just saying I don't look
- 4:10Speaker 2: forward to doing a lot of podcasts. I did, man,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I have been on so many dog On podcast.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I thought I was gonna be the first one.
- 4:16Speaker 5: But everybody trying to pull on Steve because you hear him, Steve.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Just being me and most people are scared to be themselves.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I am who God created me to be. Whether you
- 4:29Speaker 2: like it or not. My intent. Listen to this, this
- 4:32Speaker 2: is important. My intent is never to offend. But when
- 4:36Speaker 2: I speak the truth from the Holy Spirit, and I
- 4:38Speaker 2: speak it in the way He gives me, sometimes it
- 4:41Speaker 2: offends people. But people always say, hey, a hit dog
- 4:43Speaker 2: will holler, so y'all gonna get hit today. I know
- 4:45Speaker 2: some people want to be hit today, but I promise you,
- 4:48Speaker 2: if you implement what we're gonna teach you today, I
- 4:50Speaker 2: guarantee you it's gonna be for the good and God
- 4:52Speaker 2: gonna get the glory head.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Ay Man, because one of the things I really want
- 4:55Speaker 5: to go ahead and hit on, Steve is the fact
- 4:59Speaker 5: that we discredit the idea that God.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Wants us to be wealthy.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Right, and so I think that growing up for me,
- 5:08Speaker 5: I was around the mindset of that, like people, pastors
- 5:14Speaker 5: or whatever that were wealthy, it was like wrong to
- 5:16Speaker 5: be wealthy. It wasn't godly to experience that amount of
- 5:20Speaker 5: a lot of money. You get what I'm saying, It
- 5:22Speaker 5: wasn't godly to be financial free. Now that I'm an adult,
- 5:24Speaker 5: I'm experiencing something like so different than the mindset of
- 5:31Speaker 5: you you're poor, If you're poor, the poorer you are,
- 5:34Speaker 5: the more you let the more you love God. That's
- 5:36Speaker 5: just to me, it's cricket thinking, now, were you did
- 5:39Speaker 5: you grow up the same way hearing that?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Of course I grew up the same way hearing that.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And the reason that, honestly, the reason that we grew
- 5:47Speaker 2: up hearing that is because the people that's saying that
- 5:49Speaker 2: they broke, Yep, they broke, they broke. They're broke, they
- 5:56Speaker 2: are broke. And it's so much because and I was
- 5:58Speaker 2: there too, right, My mama was there, My Grandmama was there.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Everybody in the church pretty much was there. But if
- 6:06Speaker 2: you lit so. The scripture I use is Pseuteronomy eight eighteen.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It says, remember the Lord thy God, where is he
- 6:11Speaker 2: who gives you the ability to get wealth? And the
- 6:16Speaker 2: problem is this, most Christians don't use the ability that
- 6:19Speaker 2: God has given them, and that's why they stay broke.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And so what if?
- 6:24Speaker 5: Okay, So I'm so glad you brought brought that up
- 6:26Speaker 5: because when we talk about ability, like for me, I'm
- 6:30Speaker 5: multi faceted, and for me in my mind, you're multi faceted.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Like you've done a lot.
- 6:35Speaker 5: There's a reason why I say now if you ever
- 6:38Speaker 5: hear me, because I've been trying to practice because Stine,
- 6:44Speaker 5: oh rah, that's still wrong.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Okay, you're gonna keep working.
- 6:52Speaker 5: But you've had multiple ways of creating wealth for you
- 6:58Speaker 5: and your family. Right, what made you land on being
- 7:03Speaker 5: big in sales and go on to avenue with insurance
- 7:06Speaker 5: as you have been able to do so far.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yep, So I tell people I didn't choose this career. Really,
- 7:14Speaker 2: it shows me I'm operating in my gift. That's another
- 7:19Speaker 2: word of God. Right, you got to operator your gift,
- 7:22Speaker 2: your gift will make room for you, It will bring
- 7:24Speaker 2: you in front of rooms for a great man. So
- 7:27Speaker 2: I got into sales part time. My background, as you said,
- 7:31Speaker 2: I'm a United States Marine. I leave the Marine Corps.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I spent the next ten years in law enforcement. I
- 7:38Speaker 2: leave law enforcement because I started a family, and I
- 7:41Speaker 2: go to work for the Post Office, and along the way,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I didn't know what I was going to do. But
- 7:48Speaker 2: I always succeeded everywhere I've been just but just never
- 7:52Speaker 2: been satisfied, never felt like I was fulfilled. Like I
- 7:55Speaker 2: had good jobs, like quote unquote good jobs, right, But
- 8:00Speaker 2: I was like, there is no way I'm finna stay
- 8:02Speaker 2: here for the next twenty years, twenty five years. Third,
- 8:04Speaker 2: that ain't gonna happen. And I got into sales part time,
- 8:09Speaker 2: became really good at sales. Didn't know I was a
- 8:11Speaker 2: good salesperson. And I started training people how to sell
- 8:16Speaker 2: life insurance. And I was doing it for free, and
- 8:20Speaker 2: it totally changed. When somebody came to me just and said, Hey,
- 8:23Speaker 2: how much would you charge me to train my team?
- 8:27Speaker 2: I'm like, charge you? You mean I can? I can
- 8:30Speaker 2: get paid doing what comes so easy for me. I'm
- 8:33Speaker 2: like yeah. One client turned into ten clients. Ten clients
- 8:37Speaker 2: turned to one hundred clients. Next thing you know, I'm
- 8:40Speaker 2: a six figure income earner. And then listen to this
- 8:43Speaker 2: the supporter for those who are trying to start a business.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Then I started the business. Sales came first, customers came first.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I didn't have no logo. I didn't have a website.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I didn't have no branding. I didn't have no pop
- 9:00Speaker 2: I ain't have no merch I ain't have nothing, and
- 9:03Speaker 2: so many people go broke. I ain't had no business cards.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Some people go broke just trying to pretend like they're CEO,
- 9:12Speaker 2: trying to in like they got it all together. They
- 9:15Speaker 2: bout all this stuff, and they going broke. I ain't
- 9:18Speaker 2: have nothing my first book. Do you know? I was
- 9:21Speaker 2: able to write my first book. It didn't cost me
- 9:24Speaker 2: any money. People going out here, they hired it. And listen,
- 9:27Speaker 2: I'm not down to anybody. All I can do is
- 9:29Speaker 2: tell you what happened to me. They hiring these publishing companies,
- 9:33Speaker 2: they hiring all these people, they're doing up. My first
- 9:36Speaker 2: book I wrote absolutely free, cost me no money. I
- 9:40Speaker 2: made two thousand dollars on my first book. Costs me nothing.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I have none but sales.
- 9:48Speaker 5: So I think there's a fear that's connected to say, yeah, yeah,
- 9:53Speaker 5: he sipping because he's already talking.
- 9:56Speaker 4: He's talking to But there's a fear that is.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Connected to say, can you explain the fear and how
- 10:03Speaker 5: you encourage people to overcome it? Because I'll go ahead
- 10:07Speaker 5: and say the rejection part for me is the one
- 10:10Speaker 5: that's like, I don't know if I'll keep if I'm
- 10:13Speaker 5: keep resenting something and you keep rejecting it. But I
- 10:17Speaker 5: think our conversations have really helped me with this. So
- 10:20Speaker 5: what would you say to that.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you're one hundred percent correct. There are a few reasons,
- 10:25Speaker 2: but I'll deal with what you just talked about. It's rejection.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It is rejection that is probably the number one reason
- 10:32Speaker 2: people do not go into sales. There's a couple of reasons,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and the reason that people don't like dealing with rejection
- 10:39Speaker 2: it's got nothing to do with the other person. It's
- 10:42Speaker 2: got to do with you. And need y'all to listen
- 10:45Speaker 2: to me now, It's got to do with you. There's
- 10:49Speaker 2: still something on the inside of you that's looking for
- 10:53Speaker 2: validation from other people. There's still something on the inside
- 10:57Speaker 2: of you that truly does not understand who you were
- 11:00Speaker 2: created to be. The worst is you're fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 11:03Speaker 2: There's something on the inside of you that you're still
- 11:07Speaker 2: trying to please people. I know, like if you were
- 11:09Speaker 2: to ask somebody, I don't care what people think about me.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I don't care who you see me doing in the
- 11:13Speaker 2: hands like this. It's just I don't care. I don't
- 11:15Speaker 2: care if you're still dealing with rejection. It's something on
- 11:22Speaker 2: the inside of you that still wants to be accepted
- 11:27Speaker 2: by others. So I had to learn to get past that.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And it doesn't matter what you think about me. The
- 11:35Speaker 2: only thing that matters is what my father in Heaven
- 11:38Speaker 2: thinks about me. So I don't care if you say
- 11:40Speaker 2: no to me, it don't matter. You ain't saying no
- 11:42Speaker 2: to me. You're saying no to yourself. Know to your dreams,
- 11:44Speaker 2: no to your mindset, no to your finances, No, no
- 11:46Speaker 2: to your money. And here's what I think I was
- 11:49Speaker 2: teaching my son this. Yesterday he was at my house
- 11:52Speaker 2: wearing business together and I said, son, he's dealing with
- 11:56Speaker 2: the same thing, rejection. He's twenty five years old. And
- 11:59Speaker 2: I said, son, you know how much money I make.
- 12:02Speaker 2: You know how much money I make per month? You
- 12:04Speaker 2: know how much money I make per year? I make more
- 12:06Speaker 2: money in a month and people will ever make in
- 12:08Speaker 2: their entire lifetime. Sometimes I said, so when I offer
- 12:11Speaker 2: somebody an opportunity to join me, to come to my business,
- 12:15Speaker 2: for me to teach you, for you to train, for
- 12:16Speaker 2: me to train them, and they say no, In my mind,
- 12:21Speaker 2: I think you are so stupid. People don't mean you
- 12:28Speaker 2: a fan. In my mind, I said, you're so stupid.
- 12:33Speaker 2: You sit around here, talk about you ain't got no money,
- 12:37Speaker 2: living for the weekend. Me and Dad just finish, talk
- 12:39Speaker 2: about it. You're living for the weekend. I'm sitting here
- 12:42Speaker 2: in my multi million dollar house looking outside my window
- 12:46Speaker 2: at this beautiful, beautiful water. I'm trying to you how
- 12:50Speaker 2: to make six figures and you say no, Oh, you're
- 12:52Speaker 2: so stupid. I ain't got time for you. Let me
- 12:54Speaker 2: move on to the next person.
- 12:56Speaker 5: But for people that don't have that yet, right, I think, So,
- 13:01Speaker 5: when you didn't have that, how were you? How were
- 13:04Speaker 5: you able to over there? Because Steve ain't always been rich,
- 13:07Speaker 5: Steve was broke Steve at some point, So how did
- 13:11Speaker 5: it broke Steve?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yes? How it broke, Steve. That's the key. See, here's
- 13:17Speaker 2: why I'm so free, Oh my father, God, thank you.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Here is why I am so free to say y'all
- 13:26Speaker 2: stupid if y'all don't listen, because I used to be stupid.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Here is why I am so free to say you broke,
- 13:34Speaker 2: because I used to be broke. Let me let me
- 13:36Speaker 2: break it down for here. Born in the projects to
- 13:39Speaker 2: a single mom. I ain't even gonna go through everything
- 13:42Speaker 2: because you already know what it means to be a
- 13:44Speaker 2: little black boy in the projects. No dad around, just
- 13:46Speaker 2: a single mom. But fast forward to an out adult.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Because you can't control you know your finances. If you're
- 13:53Speaker 2: a child, you're born into this situation. But as an adult,
- 13:58Speaker 2: me and my wife foul bankruptcy just twice, not once,
- 14:02Speaker 2: just twice. We had both of our cars repossessed. My
- 14:10Speaker 2: wife would call me say, don't come home. The tow
- 14:13Speaker 2: truck man is in the driveway. Don't come home. Our house.
- 14:22Speaker 2: We had two different houses, both of them went into foreclosure.
- 14:28Speaker 2: We had a five hundred and eighty credit score. And
- 14:32Speaker 2: here's how I remember the number five eighty. There was
- 14:35Speaker 2: a program back then we tried to buy our first house.
- 14:37Speaker 2: It was called Knocker. I'll never forget it. All you
- 14:41Speaker 2: had to have was a six hundred credit score to
- 14:43Speaker 2: get a house, and we couldn't even get a house
- 14:44Speaker 2: our craz us. Do you hear me? I'll never forget it.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I was broke. I made wrong financial decisions. I wasn't
- 14:56Speaker 2: trying to better myself again. And I did all this
- 14:59Speaker 2: with the good jobs working at the post office. Right,
- 15:04Speaker 2: So I had to change my mindset. I had to
- 15:08Speaker 2: start doing things a lot different than I was doing before,
- 15:12Speaker 2: and that's what got me to where I am. I
- 15:15Speaker 2: did not make my first six figures until I was
- 15:21Speaker 2: forty seven years old. So I don't care if people
- 15:30Speaker 2: get mad when I say you broke. Hell, yeah, you're broke.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I know what your mindset is, and I'm a Yes,
- 15:38Speaker 2: I believe in the word. I'm a Christian. You can
- 15:42Speaker 2: say what you want to say about me. I'm I
- 15:46Speaker 2: know who got you. See what the shirt say you say?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Ain't it.
- 15:51Speaker 4: You Stu are Steve?
- 15:53Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 15:54Speaker 2: My ministry is not in y'all pool ped My ministry
- 15:57Speaker 2: is in the marketplace.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Correct.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Come on.
- 16:00Speaker 2: The reason that I am successful is because here I
- 16:03Speaker 2: don't want to I'm gonna save it to the end.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna save it to the end. You said, a
- 16:06Speaker 2: lit be more simple if you just I'm gonna save
- 16:08Speaker 2: it to the end.
- 16:09Speaker 5: But I'm telling you, you want me to say, here's
- 16:14Speaker 5: what you gotta do.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Here's what you gotta do. Three things. Pray, hustle, repeat, Pray,
- 16:23Speaker 2: hustle repeat. Just going back to the people in church
- 16:26Speaker 2: that were you talking about growing up, and they was
- 16:28Speaker 2: talking about the money. You need to have less money
- 16:30Speaker 2: and give them less money, you had to go. All
- 16:32Speaker 2: they did was pray. M That's all they did. They
- 16:37Speaker 2: prayed to God, Oh, the wealth of the wicked is
- 16:39Speaker 2: laid up for the righteous. I used to quote that
- 16:41Speaker 2: scripture and I was broken. So I don't know what.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Oh my God, on the count a thousand, I used
- 16:47Speaker 2: to quote that scripture and I was broken. I don't
- 16:49Speaker 2: know what broke. Because all we did was pray. Nobody hustled,
- 16:57Speaker 2: nobody started about, nobody thought about starting a bit. Nobody
- 17:01Speaker 2: read any books other than the Bible. Nobody learned what
- 17:05Speaker 2: a budget was. Nobody put money aside to save, nobody
- 17:10Speaker 2: was investing. Yesterday, I invested money into Elon Musk's uh, SpaceX,
- 17:16Speaker 2: the man is now a trillionaire. How many people even
- 17:21Speaker 2: know that that that happened yesterday?
- 17:23Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 17:24Speaker 2: How many people in the church. How many people that
- 17:26Speaker 2: they're gonna be at church tomorrow praising God? And nothing
- 17:30Speaker 2: wrong with that praise. I'm gonna be there too, right,
- 17:33Speaker 2: I'm very active, Steve. I'm making I'm making it very clear.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna be there tomorrow too, praising God for everything
- 17:42Speaker 2: he's given me, and then looking at my bank account
- 17:46Speaker 2: and watching my stock go up in SpaceX while everybody
- 17:49Speaker 2: else around me ain't even thinking about it.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I think you're saying so No.
- 17:55Speaker 5: I think you're saying something so important because and I
- 18:00Speaker 5: think we're in a in a space of a generation
- 18:02Speaker 5: of people, because there are things like social media, think
- 18:06Speaker 5: communities like the one we met in, like I think,
- 18:10Speaker 5: because we're getting more involved with each other outside of
- 18:14Speaker 5: the spaces that we're in.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Because let's just make clear, Steve is in Pensacola, Florida. Right,
- 18:19Speaker 5: That's that's right, He's in Pennsovielll, Florida. We're in Birmingham, Alabama.
- 18:24Speaker 5: We want to have met without, you know, community, right,
- 18:26Speaker 5: And I think that because we are in the spaces
- 18:29Speaker 5: that people are aware. But I think also there's a
- 18:31Speaker 5: fear of like what if it goes wrong, what if
- 18:34Speaker 5: it doesn't look like this all the good stuff?
- 18:36Speaker 4: What if I'm not doing the will of the Lord?
- 18:38Speaker 5: Because we bring up scriptures like the love of money
- 18:42Speaker 5: is the root of all evil, right, and so instead
- 18:45Speaker 5: of using money as a tool, we kind.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Of like.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Degrade the need for it.
- 18:52Speaker 5: You get what I'm saying, because ministry still needs money too,
- 18:54Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. You're I think, and I
- 18:57Speaker 5: think I've heard oh Mar say this. Because you are wealthy,
- 18:59Speaker 5: you can do more for the church. No, that was Dave,
- 19:02Speaker 5: Dave said. David Chan said.
- 19:05Speaker 4: On one of the when we were in morning meet up.
- 19:08Speaker 5: He said that one of the best things that he's
- 19:10Speaker 5: able to do as an entrepreneur is helped progress the
- 19:14Speaker 5: kingdom through his like his church, right, the community that
- 19:18Speaker 5: he's a part of. And so he was talking about,
- 19:19Speaker 5: you know, assisting with building a building and stuff like that.
- 19:22Speaker 5: That's what motive the idea that has started motivating me.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I wonder what the idea for you was when you
- 19:29Speaker 5: were making that mind shift that motivated you to bring
- 19:32Speaker 5: in more income and settle be this multi millionaire that
- 19:36Speaker 5: you are today.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Yeah. I was sick and tired of being sick of
- 19:40Speaker 2: tied as a husband and as a father. There was
- 19:42Speaker 2: specific things I wanted to do for my family that
- 19:45Speaker 2: I was not able to do. I want everybody that's
- 19:49Speaker 2: listening to write this down. God doesn't have a problem
- 19:54Speaker 2: with you having money. He has a problem with money
- 19:57Speaker 2: having you. Did y'all catch that?
- 20:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's good.
- 20:05Speaker 2: If that's why the richer young ruler. That's why when
- 20:07Speaker 2: Jesus said, you know, it's easier for a camera to
- 20:10Speaker 2: go through the ivan Eland in a rich man because
- 20:13Speaker 2: the rich run young ruler money had him, money had him.
- 20:19Speaker 2: His identity was tied up in the money. So when
- 20:22Speaker 2: Jesus said go give all you give all you have away,
- 20:24Speaker 2: and he was like, no, I can't, he said, yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 2: I see money. Money's got him. Money don't have me.
- 20:28Speaker 2: God can trust me with money. And so it reminds me.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And this has happened several times. So give an example, Lash.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I think it was last year, maybe earlier this year.
- 20:39Speaker 2: We give so much my wife and I but listening
- 20:41Speaker 2: to this, I want you to picture this how many
- 20:44Speaker 2: times in y'all's church. I'm talking to all your listener.
- 20:47Speaker 2: How many times are y'all church as the pastor or
- 20:50Speaker 2: somebody talked about if you need a financial blessing, come
- 20:55Speaker 2: to the front, right in, a financial blessed the front
- 21:01Speaker 2: getting his line, stand up, everybody hooping in holland and
- 21:04Speaker 2: crying and da da da da dah. And a specific
- 21:07Speaker 2: couple needed a financial blessing. Watch this now, everybody in
- 21:13Speaker 2: the church prayed, p r a y ed. Everybody in
- 21:17Speaker 2: church prayed. I mean they prayed hard, to just pray hard.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I took the couple in the side room, I said
- 21:25Speaker 2: how much y'all need m and wrote them a check
- 21:31Speaker 2: and they broke down, start crying. They broke down, start crying.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So I challenge, I challenge.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Every single religious demon right now under the sound of
- 21:45Speaker 6: my voice, if you needed finances?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Do you want prayer or do you want the money?
- 21:54Speaker 2: God has blessed me that I am able to do both.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I get away from the Christians on the left side
- 22:02Speaker 2: to say all you gotta do is pray. I don't
- 22:05Speaker 2: associate myself with the people on the right side that
- 22:09Speaker 2: say it's all up to me and there is no
- 22:10Speaker 2: God I'm right in the middle. I'm gonna pray and
- 22:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna go to work, and we need more people
- 22:20Speaker 2: in the middle to further along their lives, further along
- 22:24Speaker 2: the Kingdom of God, whatever the case, whatever the case
- 22:26Speaker 2: may be. So again, God ain't got no problem with
- 22:30Speaker 2: you having money. He got a huge problem if money
- 22:32Speaker 2: have you. You can't serve God in money. You gonna
- 22:37Speaker 2: hate one love the other.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that's so good. You bring up a
- 22:42Speaker 5: great example.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I remember.
- 22:45Speaker 5: I was in a situation this time last year to
- 22:48Speaker 5: where I was, well, this a little bit before, but
- 22:50Speaker 5: it was last year sometime, and my church. That's why
- 22:54Speaker 5: I'm so grateful for my church. They will pray in church,
- 22:56Speaker 5: but they believe in like sowing. And it was a
- 23:00Speaker 5: specific moment where my co pastor, she was praying and
- 23:08Speaker 5: she was like, Jessica comes to the front, and so
- 23:10Speaker 5: I could like I was so depleted that I could
- 23:13Speaker 5: barely make it to the front, and so she just
- 23:15Speaker 5: started prophisying and praying over me, and she was like,
- 23:18Speaker 5: Jessica came on her last She didn't even know how
- 23:20Speaker 5: much if she was gonna be able to have gas
- 23:23Speaker 5: to get back if I had not spoken that lady,
- 23:25Speaker 5: and she was so accurate, right and so and so
- 23:31Speaker 5: at that moment, she was like, today, I'm going to
- 23:34Speaker 5: ask that you the time that was going to be
- 23:36Speaker 5: sown today for the church, that we give it to Jessica.
- 23:40Speaker 5: And that moment shifted my mind and it also shifted
- 23:46Speaker 5: my heart because it's not that we can't do it,
- 23:50Speaker 5: it's are we willing to do it? And we have
- 23:53Speaker 5: to go I agree with you, we have to go
- 23:56Speaker 5: above and beyond.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Thank you, Holy Spirit. We have to go above and.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Beyond the whole conversation with God about the issue going
- 24:04Speaker 5: back to understanding that we have power that has been
- 24:07Speaker 5: invested in us and we're just not utilizing it goes
- 24:10Speaker 5: back to your ability statement. And so for people that
- 24:13Speaker 5: are talking about we're talking about this mindset shift, Steeve,
- 24:15Speaker 5: we're talking about a three percent mindset. What does a
- 24:19Speaker 5: three percent mindset include? Like?
- 24:22Speaker 6: What is it?
- 24:23Speaker 4: What does it include for you? What would you say?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Absolutely? So, I'll talk to you about the three percent
- 24:29Speaker 2: mindset where that came from. I want to I really
- 24:32Speaker 2: want to follow up on what you just talked about
- 24:35Speaker 2: the situations that my wife and I were in when
- 24:38Speaker 2: I was telling about we were broken everything. We had
- 24:40Speaker 2: people that poured into us, people that gave us finances,
- 24:43Speaker 2: you know, the church. At one point when our cars
- 24:45Speaker 2: got repossessed, we were driving the church van. So I
- 24:50Speaker 2: think it's important to again we're talking about my mindset.
- 24:54Speaker 2: It's great when the church can come together and bless me,
- 24:58Speaker 2: can bless Jessica. How I was able to bless you
- 25:01Speaker 2: know that couple and people go to church and church
- 25:05Speaker 2: and church. But here was the deeper question for me.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Why am I in this situation where I need that?
- 25:11Speaker 2: M H exactly what I mean? Why am I in
- 25:16Speaker 2: the situation where I need to have a blessed instead
- 25:20Speaker 2: of being a blessing? And I had to make the decision. Okay,
- 25:23Speaker 2: I can't be in this, in this predicament forever. I
- 25:26Speaker 2: can't depend on the church coming together forever. I can't
- 25:29Speaker 2: depend on somebody. I got to start making some different
- 25:31Speaker 2: decisions so I can get out of the situation. So
- 25:36Speaker 2: the three percent mindset, Only three percent of individuals in
- 25:43Speaker 2: the United States earned two hundred and fifty thousand dollars
- 25:46Speaker 2: a year, not households, individuals. I want you to think
- 25:51Speaker 2: about that number. Three percent. I just told you I
- 25:55Speaker 2: didn't make my first six figures until I was forty
- 25:59Speaker 2: seven years old. I'm fifty seven. I know I don't
- 26:03Speaker 2: look like a right. God has been good. Flex on
- 26:07Speaker 2: the steaks. Who don't get me started? Okay, listen, I
- 26:12Speaker 2: know people right now, and I bet your listeners know
- 26:15Speaker 2: people right now. That's fifty seven. That's even older, that's
- 26:19Speaker 2: never even made one hundred thousand dollars, right, God has
- 26:25Speaker 2: blessed me. Now I make more than that in a month. Right,
- 26:31Speaker 2: So three percent of people. So when I've heard that number,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I'm like, you got to be kidding me. Because one
- 26:36Speaker 2: of my friend of mine long time ago, he says, Bro,
- 26:39Speaker 2: do you realize that you're that less than one percent
- 26:43Speaker 2: of the people in this country make as much money
- 26:45Speaker 2: as you and I did it. I'm like, you crazy,
- 26:48Speaker 2: he said, I'm telling you, bro, less than one percent.
- 26:52Speaker 2: He says, look it up. So I looked it up
- 26:55Speaker 2: and he was right. So that's what three percent. So
- 26:59Speaker 2: then I took about this. It's not just about the money.
- 27:01Speaker 2: It's about the mindset. What mindset shift did I have
- 27:06Speaker 2: to make in order to be where I am today?
- 27:10Speaker 2: And when I tell you, jes that almost anybody can
- 27:17Speaker 2: do what I have done, but most people are not
- 27:21Speaker 2: willing to do it. That's all. Go back to what
- 27:24Speaker 2: you there, you go, there, you go to go back
- 27:27Speaker 2: to what you said earlier. I'm rejected every single day,
- 27:34Speaker 2: multiple times a day. I don't care. That's their stupid
- 27:39Speaker 2: self right. Multiple times a day. I fail, listen, listeners.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I fail more than the average person. I'm rejected more
- 27:56Speaker 2: than the average person. I make more stakes than the
- 28:02Speaker 2: average person, and that's why I make a lot more
- 28:07Speaker 2: money than the average person. Don't for one second think
- 28:12Speaker 2: that everything I touch turns the gold. Don't for one
- 28:16Speaker 2: second think that I don't feel bad. Don't for one
- 28:19Speaker 2: second think that I don't have fear. Don't for one
- 28:22Speaker 2: second think that I don't feel like giving up. Don't
- 28:25Speaker 2: think for one second. I wake up every morning on
- 28:27Speaker 2: ten and I'm ready to go. I'm not moved by
- 28:30Speaker 2: my feelings. I'm not moved by my feelings. Discipline is
- 28:37Speaker 2: simply deciety between what you want now and what you
- 28:41Speaker 2: want most. So I'm willing. I'm willing to look foolish
- 28:47Speaker 2: in front of people. I did. I did a I
- 28:51Speaker 2: don't know what it's called. Just when I do my
- 28:53Speaker 2: Instagram things Instagram. There you go. So I did one
- 29:00Speaker 2: the other day. So my son is a he's getting
- 29:03Speaker 2: ready to graduate college with an engineering degree. And he
- 29:06Speaker 2: was in there and he was studying, I mean, just hard.
- 29:08Speaker 2: And he's hard in hisself, right a student. And I'm like, man,
- 29:12Speaker 2: what you just do this? Just finish it up. I
- 29:14Speaker 2: mean I barely graduated high school r at one point
- 29:17Speaker 2: nine gpa. Right, and uh, and I realized. So I
- 29:22Speaker 2: came back, and so my talking head was, I said,
- 29:25Speaker 2: school teaches you to be perfect instead of fast. Business
- 29:32Speaker 2: teaches you to be fast instead of perfect. It rewards you,
- 29:38Speaker 2: you know, for for action. And then I said, and
- 29:41Speaker 2: that's why A students often work for c students. So
- 29:48Speaker 2: take that all, you valedictorians. One point nine gpa. I
- 29:57Speaker 2: was talking with a brain surgeon. This is years and
- 30:00Speaker 2: this is years ago. A little bit a little bit
- 30:02Speaker 2: of pride here, Father God, I know.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I forgive them lord.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Talking talking with the brain. He gonna forgive me talking
- 30:09Speaker 2: with a brain surgeon. And found out that I made
- 30:14Speaker 2: three times more than a brain surgeon and worked three
- 30:17Speaker 2: times as many hours less. Mm hm, oh he was
- 30:21Speaker 2: he was a valedictorian.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Why all right here.
- 30:34Speaker 5: But no his I feel like your point is saying
- 30:36Speaker 5: that is and I feel like it also frees people
- 30:38Speaker 5: because even me, Steve, I don't think I've ever told
- 30:40Speaker 5: you this before. I don't think I've ever told you
- 30:42Speaker 5: this before. Let me make sure I say my right
- 30:44Speaker 5: words right, because my my Birmingham, I don't say Birmingham,
- 30:49Speaker 5: but my Southern is coming out, ye know, my southern raw.
- 30:54Speaker 5: But before doing this, one of my hesitancies about even
- 30:59Speaker 5: podcasting in general when I first started was the simple.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Fact that.
- 31:04Speaker 5: I didn't feel like I was eloquent enough to be
- 31:07Speaker 5: a podcaster, but also like.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I didn't think I was smart enough.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Like the only thing I had I felt like I
- 31:13Speaker 5: had to offer was the Bible, right, and not to
- 31:17Speaker 5: say like the Bible isn't enough, but also and there's
- 31:21Speaker 5: more than just the Bible, right.
- 31:23Speaker 4: And so I remember somebody telling me.
- 31:27Speaker 5: It was my coach. She was like, just you just
- 31:29Speaker 5: sell Jesus. And I thought that it was gonna be
- 31:33Speaker 5: limit me. But I think that when I leaned into
- 31:37Speaker 5: that idea of leading into my faith and presenting myself
- 31:40Speaker 5: but as a safe space for entrepreneurs as yourself to
- 31:45Speaker 5: grow in this game, I started seeing myself differently so
- 31:49Speaker 5: I can relate to the person that's like, Okay, I
- 31:52Speaker 5: don't feel like I'm smart enough to do this thing.
- 31:56Speaker 4: I don't know if I'm smart enough to make millions.
- 31:59Speaker 4: But what I'm here you say is it's not even
- 32:01Speaker 4: about smart.
- 32:02Speaker 5: How smart you are is about tenacity. Is that a
- 32:05Speaker 5: fair correlation?
- 32:07Speaker 2: It's more than fair. If you had to be smart
- 32:09Speaker 2: to be a millionaire, I'd still be broke. Matter of fact,
- 32:14Speaker 2: I'm telling you listen to me. Now, listen again. You
- 32:17Speaker 2: already heard Jess and Dad say they are not responsible
- 32:21Speaker 2: for the person.
- 32:21Speaker 5: This is not.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I believe. I believe it's hard for smart people to
- 32:28Speaker 2: be rich. Why because they overthink everything. Everything got to
- 32:34Speaker 2: be perfect to them. Everything has to be perfect for them.
- 32:38Speaker 2: They don't want to fail. Smart people have gone through
- 32:41Speaker 2: their entire life making as their entire life they make
- 32:46Speaker 2: a b They down on themselves. They got to be perfect.
- 32:49Speaker 2: They always been pumped up, primped up. You're this, you're that,
- 32:53Speaker 2: And tell you why. I know that I got three
- 32:56Speaker 2: smart kids. I got three smart kids. They a students,
- 33:00Speaker 2: They Suma Lotti. I don't know what they're gonna do.
- 33:02Speaker 2: It's something right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's them, and they aga,
- 33:11Speaker 2: oh my god, it aggravate. They're up till eleven o'clock
- 33:15Speaker 2: midnight studying, putting in the work. And I look at them,
- 33:19Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, you man, you put that
- 33:22Speaker 2: kind of work into a business. But here's the problem.
- 33:25Speaker 2: They so used to being yay and on the stage
- 33:28Speaker 2: and everything. They scared to make a mistake. I am
- 33:32Speaker 2: a D plus student. I make mistakes my whole life.
- 33:38Speaker 2: So when I started this podcast, I'm like, oh, I
- 33:42Speaker 2: know I'm gona make mistakes, but I don't care. Let
- 33:45Speaker 2: me say something to encourage you, just and to encourage
- 33:47Speaker 2: your audience, regardless of what they're trying to do podcasts,
- 33:51Speaker 2: write a book, start a business, whatever. You guys have
- 33:54Speaker 2: to listen to me. Do you realize that you will
- 33:57Speaker 2: never ever be criticized by someone doing better than you.
- 34:06Speaker 2: You're only be criticized by people who are doing worse
- 34:09Speaker 2: than you are y'all? Are y'all you see what I'm saying.
- 34:14Speaker 2: So if somebody says your podcast is and you don't
- 34:18Speaker 2: sound right, and you know, when I turn around and say,
- 34:21Speaker 2: oh you know what, what about your podcast? All right,
- 34:26Speaker 2: I ain't got no podcasts. You damn right, you ain't
- 34:27Speaker 2: got no podcasts. You ain't got nothing. Oh when you
- 34:33Speaker 2: wrote your book, why you saying this? And well, what
- 34:36Speaker 2: about your book? I ain't got no book. You damn right,
- 34:38Speaker 2: you ain't got no book. You ain't no author. You
- 34:43Speaker 2: will only be Hey. You know what, let me tell you.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Listen to me. Hating is free. That's why I broke.
- 34:52Speaker 2: People do it so well. M haters. I ain't worry
- 34:59Speaker 2: about haters. Anybody who hates on me, they don't have
- 35:03Speaker 2: what I have. Anybody hates on you, they don't have
- 35:06Speaker 2: what you have. Write the book, start the podcast, start
- 35:10Speaker 2: the business right, go to the gym, and do whatever
- 35:14Speaker 2: it is that you want to do. Because people that
- 35:17Speaker 2: are where you are trying to get they see you
- 35:20Speaker 2: moving and they give your hand up. People who are
- 35:24Speaker 2: doing worse than you, less than you, they want to
- 35:26Speaker 2: pull you down. And a lot of times those people
- 35:29Speaker 2: are your family, a lot of times those people are
- 35:33Speaker 2: your friends.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Because what's that that's right?
- 35:43Speaker 2: And so just what it does. It reminds them that
- 35:48Speaker 2: they're stuck. It reminds them that they're stagnant. It reminds
- 35:53Speaker 2: them that, oh my goodness, she's moving he's moving, and
- 35:58Speaker 2: I don't want them to go further along because that
- 36:00Speaker 2: makes me feel bad. That's why, like this is ohone
- 36:03Speaker 2: is always saying, I can't get no support from my
- 36:06Speaker 2: friends and family. You're not going to stop worrying about
- 36:09Speaker 2: your friends and family. Stop worrying about them. They're not
- 36:13Speaker 2: going to support you. They may still love you, but
- 36:16Speaker 2: they're not going to support you because, like what you said,
- 36:19Speaker 2: they used to the broke version of you, and it
- 36:20Speaker 2: reminds them of what they're not doing. Wait a minute,
- 36:24Speaker 2: this is just how she got a podcast, how she moving,
- 36:27Speaker 2: how she's speaking that podcast. Something I remember just when
- 36:30Speaker 2: she was. I remember days when she was. I remember
- 36:33Speaker 2: just when she child.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Please so Steve, So Steve. I think it's important for
- 36:41Speaker 5: us now. We've done a lot of fussing so far,
- 36:44Speaker 5: but I think let's let's get let's leave some people
- 36:46Speaker 5: with some strategy.
- 36:47Speaker 4: So I'm a new I'm a new person.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Remember when we had our initial conversation, right, and I
- 36:52Speaker 5: want to kind of go there and give them that
- 36:54Speaker 5: the intelligence of that conversation. I don't know what my
- 36:59Speaker 5: price points be. I've been doing this for free. I
- 37:01Speaker 5: know I'm gifted. I know people keep pulling on me,
- 37:04Speaker 5: but I don't know what to charge. How would you
- 37:06Speaker 5: explad today?
- 37:08Speaker 2: Yeah? First off, when you're good at something, never do
- 37:11Speaker 2: it for free. Y'all may want to write that down.
- 37:17Speaker 2: When you're good at something, never do it for free.
- 37:20Speaker 2: The market will determine your price point. The market will
- 37:26Speaker 2: determine your price point. When I first started, I was
- 37:28Speaker 2: a price coward. Remember we talked about this just Yeah,
- 37:32Speaker 2: when we first started, I was a price coward. I
- 37:35Speaker 2: still didn't see my worth. I didn't understand my worth.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I didn't believe that people would pay me to teach
- 37:42Speaker 2: them how to sell because it was so easy for
- 37:44Speaker 2: me to do. Right. That's how you find out what
- 37:46Speaker 2: your gift is. When something is easy for you to
- 37:49Speaker 2: do but amazing to everyone else, then that is your gift.
- 37:53Speaker 2: God gave it to you. So determining your price point,
- 37:58Speaker 2: the market will determine your price. You could take your
- 38:01Speaker 2: and your your skill set as well, so when you're
- 38:08Speaker 2: better at something than someone else, you can charge a
- 38:10Speaker 2: little bit more. When you're first starting out, you take
- 38:12Speaker 2: a look at the market. Whatever the business is, the
- 38:14Speaker 2: business model is what are other people in that same
- 38:19Speaker 2: market area charging? Okay, once you start at whatever that
- 38:25Speaker 2: that price point is, depending on how well it goes,
- 38:29Speaker 2: that's going to be able to determine. I started off
- 38:33Speaker 2: charging one hundred and fifty dollars an hour. Right, if
- 38:38Speaker 2: you want to spend time with me, you want me
- 38:39Speaker 2: to coach your team, it's not one hundred and fifty
- 38:41Speaker 2: dollars an hour. That's it the full team, right, one
- 38:45Speaker 2: hundred and fifty bucks an hour. I'll coach the whole team, right,
- 38:49Speaker 2: minimum two hours and two hours a month. So that
- 38:51Speaker 2: was three hundred bucks. Now it's one thousand dollars an hour. Okay,
- 38:59Speaker 2: And that's and here's the thing that's not even like
- 39:03Speaker 2: I may coach you one time. For that, I have
- 39:06Speaker 2: a team, So I'll coach you one time and then
- 39:09Speaker 2: you move to my team. Now we're getting into what
- 39:13Speaker 2: I call leveraged income. Leveraged income is when you have
- 39:19Speaker 2: other individuals doing the work, but you're still getting paid.
- 39:24Speaker 2: So my clients pay one thousand bucks an hour. God
- 39:28Speaker 2: has blessed me that I've got great coaches around me,
- 39:32Speaker 2: and the coach, I'll pay the coach one hundred and
- 39:35Speaker 2: fifty two hundred dollars an hour, but the client still
- 39:38Speaker 2: pays one thousand dollars an hour, So that's leveraged income.
- 39:43Speaker 2: But determining your your price point. Starting off, you let
- 39:49Speaker 2: the market decide. And then if you're good, because you
- 39:51Speaker 2: got to be good at what you're doing. God has
- 39:53Speaker 2: blessed me. I'm very good at what I do, then
- 39:56Speaker 2: you get to start determining. Okay, well the market may
- 39:59Speaker 2: be saying this, but I'm here right So, like in
- 40:03Speaker 2: my coaching space, for who I coach and the people
- 40:06Speaker 2: that I coach for private coaching, I am the most expensive.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I don't care what the markets say. I'm not there anymore.
- 40:15Speaker 2: If you want me to train your team, this is
- 40:17Speaker 2: the price point. And again I'm blessed that people pay it.
- 40:21Speaker 5: I'm glad you brought I'm glad you brought that up.
- 40:23Speaker 5: It's two things that I want I want to address
- 40:25Speaker 5: real quick. So when you talk about leverage income to
- 40:30Speaker 5: meris brings me back to this. This D word that
- 40:33Speaker 5: I always talk about is delegation.
- 40:35Speaker 4: And I think that.
- 40:38Speaker 5: For you, what was your relationship like with delegation as
- 40:41Speaker 5: you were scaling your business.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I had a hard problem with it at first, just
- 40:47Speaker 2: because I still had a poverty mindset. The poverty. Mindset
- 40:53Speaker 2: is if you want it done right, do it by
- 40:55Speaker 2: yourself right. A good book that I would tell if
- 40:59Speaker 2: we're talking about finance in business, A good book is
- 41:03Speaker 2: A Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, and he
- 41:06Speaker 2: talks about the cash flow quadrant. Most people know what
- 41:09Speaker 2: I'm talking about. On the left side of the quadrant,
- 41:12Speaker 2: he said, it's poor. Those are your employees, and then
- 41:16Speaker 2: those are also, excuse me, your self employed. One man show,
- 41:22Speaker 2: one woman show. If you want to do the right,
- 41:23Speaker 2: do it by yourself. When their income stops, I mean
- 41:26Speaker 2: when they stop, their income stops, right. But on the
- 41:30Speaker 2: right side of the cash flow quadrant, you got the
- 41:33Speaker 2: bees and the I's Bees is big business. And here's
- 41:37Speaker 2: the mindset of somebody with big business. I had to
- 41:40Speaker 2: develop this mindset. Listen to this. I don't want to
- 41:44Speaker 2: be the smartest person in my company. I want the
- 41:48Speaker 2: smartest people I know working with me. I want the
- 41:51Speaker 2: smartest people I know to help grow my company. My
- 41:55Speaker 2: COO a while AGO's name is Craig Miller, and one
- 42:00Speaker 2: time we were having a meeting and he and he
- 42:03Speaker 2: is so smart. Oh my gosh. He's like, we got
- 42:05Speaker 2: to do this and this, and I'm like, Craig, I
- 42:07Speaker 2: don't know, should we do this? I said, I'm not
- 42:08Speaker 2: that smart. You got to let me know that. And
- 42:10Speaker 2: then and then we kept talking and later just I said,
- 42:12Speaker 2: I don't know, Craig, I'm not says you know what
- 42:14Speaker 2: he said, stop saying that, he says, think about this.
- 42:18Speaker 2: You better graduated high school. I graduated. I went to
- 42:22Speaker 2: college to have a college degree, he named. Starting even
- 42:25Speaker 2: my employees like, that's got a college degree. Might's got
- 42:27Speaker 2: a college he said. We all got college degrees and
- 42:29Speaker 2: we all work for you. I think that's pretty and smart. Right,
- 42:37Speaker 2: So right, it really is. It's the perspective. It's perspective
- 42:43Speaker 2: of it. So uh that delegation. I had to get
- 42:48Speaker 2: rid of the poverty mindset of I got to do
- 42:51Speaker 2: it by myself because I want it done right. And
- 42:54Speaker 2: now I have people in my company who are smarter
- 42:57Speaker 2: than me. I have zero ego zero when it comes
- 43:02Speaker 2: to business, and you're smarter than me. I want you
- 43:05Speaker 2: on my team. Oh my goodness, I want you on
- 43:07Speaker 2: my team. Please come on my team. Those A students
- 43:10Speaker 2: that I make fun of, I want them working for me.
- 43:15Speaker 4: You don't make fun of them when they start working for.
- 43:16Speaker 5: You, do.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Listen. I make fun of my kids all the time.
- 43:21Speaker 2: They would say, Dad, you're flexing. I say that's right
- 43:24Speaker 2: because they because listen. We we I have a great family,
- 43:26Speaker 2: love each other. My daughters are always messing with me.
- 43:31Speaker 2: When they'd be in that conversation, I'll say something that
- 43:33Speaker 2: says whatever one point nine, and they started laughing right
- 43:36Speaker 2: at one point nine, and I say, this, are you
- 43:39Speaker 2: talking about my GPA? You're talking about my bank account.
- 43:48Speaker 4: That's a back make No, I'm not. I'm not.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Another thing that I know you and I have talked
- 44:01Speaker 5: about before, and you kind of alluded to it when
- 44:05Speaker 5: you were in your previous statement is letting your price
- 44:08Speaker 5: be your price.
- 44:10Speaker 4: And I think that.
- 44:14Speaker 5: When we talk about fear right and we allow our price,
- 44:17Speaker 5: of letting our price be our price and standing on that,
- 44:22Speaker 5: I think it's the fear of once we once we
- 44:25Speaker 5: are scaling, Like when you say you say, at first
- 44:27Speaker 5: you were doing one hundred and fifty dollars per hour,
- 44:29Speaker 5: now you jump to a thousand.
- 44:31Speaker 4: That comfort zone with that, like, how did you resolve
- 44:35Speaker 4: that with with allowing.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Your price to be your price and not going backwards
- 44:41Speaker 5: because someone is trying, you know, to adjust that, or
- 44:45Speaker 5: you might not be fully or somebody might not because
- 44:47Speaker 5: you fully comfortable with it.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Steve is fully comfortable.
- 44:49Speaker 2: With fully comfortable now now, And it's important to realize
- 44:57Speaker 2: not everybody says yes again it goes well some people.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Most people say no, I can't afford that. I can't
- 45:03Speaker 2: afford that. I go, well, you know, then you really
- 45:04Speaker 2: need me. I mean honestly, if you're running a business
- 45:07Speaker 2: over here and you can't afford two thousand dollars a
- 45:09Speaker 2: month to have my team help you get then you
- 45:12Speaker 2: know you really need a help. But I don't want
- 45:15Speaker 2: people to think I went from one fifty to one thousand, right,
- 45:18Speaker 2: it was one fifteen hour, three hundred hours. So here's
- 45:22Speaker 2: the talk about business. Now, would you wrap at one
- 45:27Speaker 2: hundred and fifty an hour? Everybody was saying yes pretty much.
- 45:29Speaker 2: That means you got a lot of clients. That means
- 45:31Speaker 2: you got a lot of headaches. More clients, more people,
- 45:35Speaker 2: more headaches. I have less clients, more money. So less clients,
- 45:40Speaker 2: less headache, more money because of the price point, you
- 45:43Speaker 2: see what I mean, So determine what your price point is.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Once you determine what your price point is if you
- 45:51Speaker 2: have enough space in here, here's what you do. So
- 45:54Speaker 2: I charged let's say I charged two thousand dollars a
- 45:57Speaker 2: month minimum, and there are other things we got guys,
- 45:59Speaker 2: that's more than that. But just talk about a simple
- 46:01Speaker 2: coaching and the customer says to me, you know what, Steve,
- 46:05Speaker 2: two thousand is too much. I can't afford two thousand.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I'll try to overcome that objection, try to say no.
- 46:11Speaker 2: I really want you to say, okay, So for two thousand,
- 46:13Speaker 2: you get ABC and D you get these four things
- 46:17Speaker 2: for two thousand. For fifteen hundred, what would you like
- 46:21Speaker 2: me to take away? Right? I could take away this,
- 46:28Speaker 2: I could take away that for fifteen hundred. So it's
- 46:32Speaker 2: not necessarily me me going, you know what, if you
- 46:37Speaker 2: can't afford to two thousand, then you know then there's
- 46:39Speaker 2: nothing I can always take away something that's less work
- 46:42Speaker 2: on me, less things we have to give to the customer.
- 46:47Speaker 2: But we still have that, you know that fifteen hundred. Right,
- 46:52Speaker 2: So again, that could be something that you, guys or
- 46:54Speaker 2: whoever's listening, can be able to do. But you got
- 46:56Speaker 2: to be able to have that. You got to be
- 46:58Speaker 2: able to have that margin in the middle. To be
- 47:00Speaker 2: able to do that. Yeah, and I learned that from
- 47:06Speaker 2: uh who's who said that? He's kind of like the
- 47:10Speaker 2: CEO of price Line right price, price line cr priceline
- 47:17Speaker 2: dot com. A good friend of mine named Simmy was
- 47:21Speaker 2: at a was at a this conference over over here
- 47:25Speaker 2: and Destin and the CEO of price Line was talking
- 47:29Speaker 2: about that.
- 47:29Speaker 4: So and what what do you say which you can
- 47:32Speaker 4: take away? Okay, okay, cool?
- 47:35Speaker 2: Do you take away? And and then this as well,
- 47:39Speaker 2: would you rather own one hundred percent of a grape
- 47:42Speaker 2: or twenty percent of a watermelon? Think about that for
- 47:49Speaker 2: those who getting ready to start a business, or you
- 47:51Speaker 2: have a business collaboration, merging with another business, buying real estate.
- 47:57Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know, man, I guess I could
- 48:00Speaker 2: be pretty honest on your podcast right the same space,
- 48:05Speaker 2: say space right. When I first started my business again,
- 48:09Speaker 2: we talked about pride. It was a big thing about
- 48:12Speaker 2: being this is my business, black man, owning the business
- 48:15Speaker 2: black black, black, black of the business, black black black.
- 48:18Speaker 2: And I know a lot of dog owned black business
- 48:21Speaker 2: owners who are perpetrating the fraud. They love to say
- 48:26Speaker 2: they own their own business, but I bet you they
- 48:29Speaker 2: will't show you the profit and law statement. Most of
- 48:32Speaker 2: them don't even know what the profit and law statement is. Right,
- 48:36Speaker 2: they go, they buy an LLC and that's all they got.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And I'm not listening. I'm not I'm not I'm not
- 48:41Speaker 2: downing them. I'm not hating them. What I'm saying is
- 48:44Speaker 2: that's not enough. It's not enough. But they're all about mind, mind, mind, mind.
- 48:52Speaker 2: They don't see the big picture. They own one hundred
- 48:55Speaker 2: percent of that grape. I would much rather own twenty
- 49:02Speaker 2: percent of a watermelon. I collaborate with other businesses. Other
- 49:08Speaker 2: businesses send me business, I send other business. We travel together.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Sometimes I have to go and speak, and man, you're
- 49:17Speaker 2: finna go speak. You going over here? Boom, I'm in.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Let's go, let's do it. You want to split it, Yep,
- 49:21Speaker 2: let's split it. Let's go. Let's do it. Same thing. Hey,
- 49:23Speaker 2: I got this going on over here. You want to go.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Lots of people, lots of money be made. Let's do
- 49:28Speaker 2: it all right? Perfect? So I open up what doors
- 49:30Speaker 2: for other businesses. They open up doors for me that
- 49:33Speaker 2: I would not have had. So if you're starting a
- 49:38Speaker 2: business now, of course, it's got to be the right partnership.
- 49:41Speaker 2: You don't just want to jump in bed or jump
- 49:42Speaker 2: in business with anyone but your mind. This is that
- 49:45Speaker 2: three percent mindset, Jess, and I'm talking about you got
- 49:48Speaker 2: to shift that mindset from from from thinking me, mine
- 49:52Speaker 2: gotta be me, I gotta do it to let me collaborate,
- 49:57Speaker 2: you know, with other other individuals. And the last I
- 50:00Speaker 2: say is this, money don't care what color you are.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Money does not care what color you are. I don't care.
- 50:09Speaker 2: I provide value just you're and I talked about this,
- 50:13Speaker 2: I would probably say, I don't know if it's eighty percent.
- 50:17Speaker 2: I'm gonna say eighty eighty five percent of my clients
- 50:22Speaker 2: do not look like me. Eighty five percent of my
- 50:27Speaker 2: clients do not look like me. So I'm telling you,
- 50:32Speaker 2: trying to grow a business, talk about your brand, trying
- 50:36Speaker 2: to find your tribe. You just got to be who
- 50:39Speaker 2: God created you to be in the marketplace to people
- 50:42Speaker 2: or people be to come. I wrote this down and
- 50:43Speaker 2: will tell you about this just because you said something
- 50:45Speaker 2: earlier about your podcast and teaching the Bible. You got
- 50:48Speaker 2: to find your tribe a lot of people. I'm about
- 50:53Speaker 2: to step on some toes here, like I ain't already
- 50:56Speaker 2: stepping on some toes.
- 50:59Speaker 4: Might be on the hand right now.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Listen, this is this is this is me how I
- 51:04Speaker 2: think and what I have experienced. A man with an
- 51:08Speaker 2: experience is never at the mercy of a man with
- 51:12Speaker 2: an opinion. So I have an experience. I hear so
- 51:18Speaker 2: many social people, so many social media people, preaching and
- 51:22Speaker 2: teaching and talking about going viral. I gotta go viral,
- 51:26Speaker 2: I gotta go viral. I gotta have the video. We
- 51:28Speaker 2: ad to go viral. They go viral, viral, viral, viral, viral, viral. Man,
- 51:32Speaker 2: I ain't never went viral. Just telling people how much
- 51:35Speaker 2: I know about social media.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Absolutely Oh we go back and fall on this social
- 51:42Speaker 4: media absolutely nothing.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so obviously I don't know nothing about
- 51:50Speaker 2: social media. I never went viral. I don't know what
- 51:54Speaker 2: the heck that mean. But I guarantee you that everybody
- 51:58Speaker 2: trying to go viral, you take my bank account and
- 52:02Speaker 2: a heartbeat you don't need. And I don't get me wrong,
- 52:07Speaker 2: I get it'll help you if you win viral, but
- 52:09Speaker 2: that's like winning a lottery. You don't know. You oh
- 52:13Speaker 2: for the stuff of some toes. If you could predict
- 52:17Speaker 2: going viral every video you did, you would say I
- 52:21Speaker 2: wanted to go viral. If you knew what was gonna
- 52:24Speaker 2: go viral, you would never make a video that wasn't
- 52:28Speaker 2: going to go viral. You can't predict that. It's like
- 52:30Speaker 2: playing the lottery. In my mind, I think that is
- 52:35Speaker 2: one of the dumbest things. If you say, I gotta
- 52:40Speaker 2: go viral, I gotta go viral. I gotta go viral. No,
- 52:42Speaker 2: you just gotta do the work. You gotta you just
- 52:45Speaker 2: gotta do the work. If it happens, great, But you
- 52:48Speaker 2: should be trying to come up with a praying a
- 52:50Speaker 2: program and offer or something like that where you can
- 52:54Speaker 2: provide value to your listener, value to your customer. I
- 53:00Speaker 2: don't have to have a lot of customers to be
- 53:02Speaker 2: a multi millionaire. And I never went viral. You already
- 53:05Speaker 2: heard just say I don't know a damn thing about
- 53:07Speaker 2: social media. I just started with Instagram. I'm like, I
- 53:11Speaker 2: don't want to be on no Instagram, just like you
- 53:13Speaker 2: gotta do. You know, Oh fine, I don't do something
- 53:17Speaker 2: with videos on Instagram. And you gotta have a faith.
- 53:20Speaker 2: But you gotta, Oh my judge, you might make my
- 53:22Speaker 2: head hurt. I gotta do what I gotta have a
- 53:25Speaker 2: YouTube channel.
- 53:27Speaker 4: That you. You don't have to touch that because increased
- 53:31Speaker 4: media does that for you.
- 53:35Speaker 2: So you see my point. It's it's just none of
- 53:40Speaker 2: that stuff can be laid out as far as who's
- 53:45Speaker 2: gonna watch, what's gonna click, what's gonna happen, what's gonna
- 53:48Speaker 2: go viral, who's gonna like, who's gonna You just gotta
- 53:51Speaker 2: keep doing that, gotta keep putting that stuff out there,
- 53:53Speaker 2: doing that you know, you know, doing that work. So
- 53:55Speaker 2: I'm just saying I'm never gonna viral. I don't have
- 53:58Speaker 2: a big social media I don't have any of those things. Yeah,
- 54:03Speaker 2: but I have a plan. I operated my gift. I
- 54:06Speaker 2: have a plan. I have a product. I show my
- 54:09Speaker 2: value and the marketplace pays for it.
- 54:11Speaker 4: I want to bring up something that we've also said. Well,
- 54:15Speaker 4: you told me.
- 54:17Speaker 5: I think it was when we first started working together,
- 54:20Speaker 5: before it was me coaching you, before we went to
- 54:23Speaker 5: increased media, and you said something to me and you
- 54:29Speaker 5: were it just it changed my life.
- 54:31Speaker 4: I don't I don't know if you know this or not.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I don't.
- 54:36Speaker 4: I changed, like you changed my mindset, Like you really changed.
- 54:40Speaker 5: I feel like you changed my life because I'm gonna
- 54:41Speaker 5: I'm gonna sit on that, right, because you looked at
- 54:44Speaker 5: me and you was like, just cann, I know you
- 54:46Speaker 5: know I make a lot of money, Eric, I know this.
- 54:49Speaker 5: I know how to sell or whatever. But do you
- 54:51Speaker 5: do you think, like, do you know why I hired
- 54:54Speaker 5: you on? Like and I was like, yeah, I just
- 54:57Speaker 5: sold your podcast. You said, I don't know about podcasting.
- 55:00Speaker 5: You're the expert there. I don't need to be an expert.
- 55:02Speaker 5: I hired you for a reason and when you it
- 55:06Speaker 5: was it was I don't think you were trying to
- 55:09Speaker 5: motivate me, but that motivated me. You were just being
- 55:12Speaker 5: like Steve, you was just having this conversation with like,
- 55:15Speaker 5: just I don't have time to be learning all this.
- 55:17Speaker 5: I don't have time to do this. I have time
- 55:19Speaker 5: to make the money that I'm making right now. I
- 55:21Speaker 5: have time to be an expert in my field. And
- 55:24Speaker 5: I think a lot of people, especially especially with the
- 55:28Speaker 5: mindset that I am delivering from, right, I'm transitioning from
- 55:33Speaker 5: think that people like you, people that have millions, don't
- 55:38Speaker 5: need people like me that are established in an expertise.
- 55:42Speaker 5: There are different expertise, right, And I think that you
- 55:45Speaker 5: brought a lot of clarity to that today when you're
- 55:48Speaker 5: talking about your team and you were talking about the
- 55:51Speaker 5: A plus student working for the D plus one point
- 55:54Speaker 5: nine student, which is yourself.
- 55:57Speaker 4: You get what I'm saying.
- 55:58Speaker 5: I think that's so valuable and so important, especially us
- 56:02Speaker 5: as believers and so not looking at a handout, But hey,
- 56:05Speaker 5: what are what is Steve missing? What is Steve needing
- 56:08Speaker 5: right now in this season that I can fulfill? And
- 56:11Speaker 5: right now it's just using me as an example, it's podcasting.
- 56:15Speaker 5: We've launched this podcast where and it's a purpose for
- 56:17Speaker 5: his podcast. He's not just doing it just for the
- 56:20Speaker 5: heck of it. He's doing it because he wants he
- 56:22Speaker 5: wants to help people get it to a three percent
- 56:25Speaker 5: mindset while making money doing it right, offering his services,
- 56:29Speaker 5: this being another marketing leg for him. So I'm super
- 56:32Speaker 5: excited there's a rayment. It'sing to say something Steve. I
- 56:36Speaker 5: think the biggest thing I just I just kept hearing
- 56:39Speaker 5: this whole conversation is faith without works is dead, right,
- 56:45Speaker 5: So meaning yes, as believers we pray, we definitely, that's
- 56:49Speaker 5: that's our lifeline, right, but as believers we're not to
- 56:53Speaker 5: stop there right There still has to be a work.
- 56:56Speaker 5: So whatever that looks like for you in that season
- 56:58Speaker 5: that you're in. Maybe the work is, Hey, I need
- 57:02Speaker 5: a job. Let me put in some applications for the job,
- 57:04Speaker 5: versus sitting, Oh.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Lord, I don't got the money. I need a job. I
- 57:07Speaker 4: need a job. I need a job.
- 57:08Speaker 5: But you have not even applied for the jobs yet. Right,
- 57:11Speaker 5: Maybe as a business owner, the next step is hiring somebody.
- 57:14Speaker 5: Maybe that's the work that needs to be done to
- 57:16Speaker 5: be able to delegate so that you can be able
- 57:17Speaker 5: to scale and all these things. You know, whatever that
- 57:20Speaker 5: looks like for you in that season, there still has
- 57:23Speaker 5: to be a work on our part, and we can't
- 57:24Speaker 5: just sit and wait for God to do what God
- 57:28Speaker 5: has already done, because He's already given us the power
- 57:30Speaker 5: of the knowledge, the wisdom, the resources, all those things.
- 57:33Speaker 5: We just have to move towards that thing. So that's
- 57:35Speaker 5: what I kept hearing pretty much. The basis of the
- 57:37Speaker 5: conversation is, Hey, you got to put the work in,
- 57:41Speaker 5: Like there has to be some accountability, There has to
- 57:43Speaker 5: be some inner thought like why am I here?
- 57:46Speaker 4: Like that's work too, Like being able.
- 57:47Speaker 5: To really sit and self assess, like where you are
- 57:50Speaker 5: and where you're trying to go that's work as well.
- 57:52Speaker 4: So this has been a great conversation.
- 57:54Speaker 5: I already knew Steve's gonna blow our tops off and
- 57:56Speaker 5: make us you know, my I think my hat flew
- 57:58Speaker 5: back in the back at one point, get it, step
- 58:03Speaker 5: on a couple of toes, you know. But I think
- 58:05Speaker 5: this type of conversation is it's necessary because what the
- 58:09Speaker 5: truth does is it shows you a mirror, right, So
- 58:13Speaker 5: you can either take the truth, look at the mirror
- 58:15Speaker 5: and walk away, or you can really be like, Okay,
- 58:17Speaker 5: I'm here, how do I get past where I am?
- 58:20Speaker 5: Do I need help? If you need help, get help,
- 58:23Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. If you need if you
- 58:25Speaker 5: need resources, read a book, whatever. That looks like we
- 58:28Speaker 5: have to stop. I'm gonna say this pity party thing,
- 58:33Speaker 5: right like at this point, like the world is on
- 58:36Speaker 5: fire pretty much and in most places, right, but at
- 58:39Speaker 5: the end of the day, I think we still have
- 58:41Speaker 5: a level of autonomy of what our reality can look like.
- 58:46Speaker 4: So thank you, missus, Steve, Thank you so much.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Steve, appreciate it.
- 58:51Speaker 5: No, we're super excited we get to see you all
- 58:54Speaker 5: the time. We're so grateful that you grace the presence
- 58:58Speaker 5: on just as the podcast today. I think there's many
- 59:02Speaker 5: more things that we'll be doing together, and I'm super
- 59:04Speaker 5: excited and honored that the Lord would trust me with
- 59:07Speaker 5: your gift.
- 59:09Speaker 4: I'm honored for that. And so we know.
- 59:11Speaker 5: We've had this very good, healthy cutting conversation. However, I
- 59:19Speaker 5: want to give you as a tradition on just ask
- 59:21Speaker 5: the podcast if there was something that you came on
- 59:23Speaker 5: with your heart with or is something that you want
- 59:25Speaker 5: to emphasize again for our conversation.
- 59:28Speaker 4: The floor is now yours.
- 59:31Speaker 2: It's it's again. I said, I couldn't hold it to
- 59:34Speaker 2: the end because it truly is pray, hustle, repeat. How
- 59:40Speaker 2: did you get to where you are today? Steve? God
- 59:43Speaker 2: is involved in every single aspect of my life. I
- 59:46Speaker 2: know I'm people They would always say, you're a different
- 59:50Speaker 2: type of elder. I am. I'm just I'm just different.
- 59:54Speaker 2: But that's what God made me to be. In sales.
- 59:59Speaker 2: I woke up every day, Lord guide me, direct me,
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: send people to me. Every single day I prayed. But then,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: like Davis was talking about, I picked up the phone
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: and I made those phone calls. I went to work. Okay,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: and what you talked about earlier, the rejection most people
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: are trying not to fail. They don't like the rejection.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: They don't want to hear the note I am successful
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: because I fail more than the average person. I hear
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: the word no, more than the average person. I make
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: more mistakes than the average person. And that's why I succeed.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: And the reason that people don't want to make those mistakes,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: they don't want to fail. I don't care what y'all say.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: It is because you still don't know who you would
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: create it to be, and you're too worried about what
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: other people think of you. The d student in school child, Please,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: the don't care what people think about them. They've been
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: told no, they're entire Nope, can't do this. Nope, you stupid,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: No dad. They the class clown. They wanted that. So
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: you take that into doing something that God created you
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: to do. Write the book. You don't care if the
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: book sell a million copies. You don't care if the
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: book say yes, it does not matter. And because I
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: don't put my worth in what people think about me,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I put my worth and who I was created to be,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: I'm successful. So if you don't get that mindset right
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: from the very beginning, no matter what you try, to do.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: You are not going to be successful if you keep
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: worried about what other people think about you. So I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: telling you, wake up in the day, pray, and once
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: you pray, you hustle. Then what do I do? Repeat?
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: Pray, hustle, repeat, See thank you so much. Y'all. Let's
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: put in the comments what y'all got from this, because
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I know it was a lie.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: But if you want more of your interest and more,
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I behoove you to go over there think about it.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I ain't think about that, cor Jess you're talking about.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Put it in the car. What they gonna say? I
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: don't like Steve stee You don't know what they talked about.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: Whatever they may. They may have just said, thank you
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: so much, so good.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: This, this inspire me, This motivated me real good. Geez, y'all,
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: y'all pray hard or y'all pray hard, y'all pray.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Listen. I know I know we finished. Listen. Listen. I'm
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: trying to help you. I'm trying to help your audience.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Listen to me. I appreciate the thank you. Never let
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: success go to your head, never let failure go to
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: your heart. I don't get caught up either way. You guys,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: this is important. You cannot get caught up either way.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Steve you the man, Steve you, the best, Steve you this.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: We pray you can't get caught up in that either
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: because if people can push you up and hold you up,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: them same people can pull you down. So I'm telling
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: y'all here, just listen to my heart. Just listen to
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: my heart when I say, if you say thank you,
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: you changed like Jess, you changed my life, you ain't
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: wasn't mean Holy Spirit. I'll just do what the Holy
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Spirit tells me. But I don't even put my identity
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: into that because just like people can pump you up,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: they can pull you, you can't pull me down. That's
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: what I mean. Make your comments, appreciate your comments. The
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Holy Spirit gave you something today, when Steve, it was
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: the Holy The Holy Spirit gave you something today. Great.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Most importantly, go implement, go execute, go hustle.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: But yeah, go hustle, but follow the Exit podcast is
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: gonna collaborate.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: That's what I was trying to say. If you need

- 1:04:05Speaker 4: don't worry about we got you well.
