- 0:04Speaker 1: He Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin and you are listening to Dad's bedtime stories.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Tonight we're going to be headed back into the Spaceship universe,
- 0:16Speaker 1: which if you've never listened before, it's completely fine. Well
- 0:20Speaker 1: you really need to know is you are a kid
- 0:23Speaker 1: with a magic spaceship and you go explore different planets
- 0:26Speaker 1: and stuff. And if it's the first time you're listening
- 0:29Speaker 1: and you like the episode, there's like four hundred more
- 0:33Speaker 1: almost Spaceship episodes alone, so you can check those out too. Now,
- 0:39Speaker 1: as most of you know, I love to take listener
- 0:41Speaker 1: suggestions for my episodes most of the time, and today's
- 0:46Speaker 1: no exception, So let's check out what we have on
- 0:50Speaker 1: the voicemail.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Hi, my name is Landon and this is my sister Sullivan.
- 0:56Speaker 2: So we would like to request a story of you
- 1:01Speaker 2: go to this world called pet World and you meet
- 1:07Speaker 2: this girl named Landon who owns pet World. So basically
- 1:12Speaker 2: what you do in pet World is you get a
- 1:16Speaker 2: pet and you get to name it, and then you
- 1:19Speaker 2: get to train it for these big obstacles that they
- 1:23Speaker 2: do every year and well like every month, and so
- 1:30Speaker 2: you get to train with Sullivan who's the trainer, and
- 1:36Speaker 2: you get to be really good friends with Sullivan and
- 1:39Speaker 2: Landon and some of the pets that are there are
- 1:45Speaker 2: like they have these like magical powers that they can
- 1:51Speaker 2: like wield ice and fire and water and that kind
- 1:58Speaker 2: of suss.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Beal.
- 2:01Speaker 2: We love her stories.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, thank you to Landon and Sullivan for that suggestion.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I think that's exactly what we're going to do tonight. Also,
- 2:11Speaker 1: big shout out to Avitt, who also left me a message.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I get the impression Ave it might be related. Maybe not,
- 2:18Speaker 1: who knows.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I also want to shout out some of my Spotify commenters,
- 2:24Speaker 4: specifically Jacob who told me that in his town's Humane
- 2:29Speaker 4: Society there's a cat named Oliver that hates everyone and
- 2:34Speaker 4: I actually I think that was in my head when
- 2:36Speaker 4: I made this episode.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Two. Last, I want to shout out some of my
- 2:40Speaker 1: newest Patreon sponsors. Thank you first of all to Max
- 2:45Speaker 1: and Griffin as well as JG from Peterborough, Ontario, a
- 2:51Speaker 1: place that I actually go quite a lot. I have
- 2:54Speaker 1: to travel there a lot. It's not too far from
- 2:56Speaker 1: my house. I really appreciate the support everyone. Yeah, it
- 3:01Speaker 1: goes a long way to keep the podcast alive. Additionally,
- 3:05Speaker 1: a big shout out to Stacy B and Alicia G
- 3:09Speaker 1: who both joined Patreon as well. And if there's anyone
- 3:12Speaker 1: you guys want me to showed out, just let me
- 3:14Speaker 1: know through the messages on Patreon.
- 3:16Speaker 4: There.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But now it's time to get on with the story.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So close your eyes, get as comfy as you can
- 3:24Speaker 1: in that bed, and imagine yourself doing what the kid
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the story does. Imagine yourself waking up on board
- 3:34Speaker 1: your very own spaceship. You get up out of bed,
- 3:39Speaker 1: stretch your arms and legs, and head out of the
- 3:43Speaker 1: bedroom area into the main section of the ship, which
- 3:47Speaker 1: is sort of an open concept ship with a living room, kitchen,
- 3:53Speaker 1: play area, little book nook, and of course the command
- 3:59Speaker 1: center of the show, where Spaceship's digital face is currently displayed.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Good morning, Spaceship says, oh, good morning, Spaceship. Well, anything
- 4:13Speaker 1: on the docket today, you ask, Yes, I have found
- 4:18Speaker 1: several extremely interesting planets. First of all, there seems to
- 4:24Speaker 1: be a planet inhabited entirely by popcorn dragons. Are you
- 4:30Speaker 1: serious popcorn dragons? Yes? However, that is not the most
- 4:37Speaker 1: interesting thing I have found. My probes have also discovered
- 4:42Speaker 1: a planet where computers seem to grow on trees. It
- 4:47Speaker 1: looks very interesting. Or last, a planet where you train pets,
- 4:55Speaker 1: many of which have elemental powers. You think for a
- 5:01Speaker 1: long while about which place you want to visit first.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You can always go to the others afterwards. After all, well,
- 5:11Speaker 1: maybe we'll go to the pet planet first. You decide, understood,
- 5:17Speaker 1: setting course for pet training planet. The ship turns to
- 5:23Speaker 1: the left and jumps into super hyper drive once again,
- 5:29Speaker 1: creating a sort of wormhole around your ship that transports
- 5:34Speaker 1: you at incredible speed to almost anywhere in the galaxy.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You eventually stop above a very beautiful but somewhat small planet.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It looks kind of earth like, lots of green with
- 5:50Speaker 1: little bits of blue, but it's really really small compared
- 5:55Speaker 1: to Earth. You jump in the command seat and steer
- 6:00Speaker 1: the ship down through the clouds over top of the
- 6:05Speaker 1: beautiful landscape of trees and green, green grass, until you
- 6:11Speaker 1: eventually come to a set of structures and little houses.
- 6:18Speaker 1: As you look out the window below, you see, well,
- 6:23Speaker 1: you see all sorts of animals making their way through
- 6:28Speaker 1: all sorts of different obstacle courses. It looks kind of
- 6:33Speaker 1: like a pet show if the pets had well superpowers,
- 6:39Speaker 1: fire powered cats blasting across bridges, ice powered donkeys, miniature
- 6:46Speaker 1: earth courses of some kind, all making their way through
- 6:52Speaker 1: a series of different obstacles. There are humans scattered around, too,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and they sort of look like they're well cheering everyone on.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You carefully land in a large clearing one that resembles
- 7:07Speaker 1: a parking lot. With a hiss and a clank, The
- 7:12Speaker 1: ship lands on the ground and the back door opens up.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You head outside and see that two of the people
- 7:20Speaker 1: are making their way towards the ship. Hi. There, one
- 7:26Speaker 1: of them says, welcome to the Pet Training Planet. My
- 7:31Speaker 1: name is Landing and I own this place. Wow, you
- 7:35Speaker 1: own this whole training facility, you say, no, well, yes,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but I actually own the entire planet. My sister and
- 7:46Speaker 1: I created the whole thing to be a pet training
- 7:51Speaker 1: well oasis, I guess, she explains, This is my sister Sullivan.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Sullivan says, Sullivan's my main trainer here. Oh what is
- 8:07Speaker 1: this place, you ask, Well, it's basically what it sounds like.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's a place where we train very special pets to
- 8:17Speaker 1: go through very special obstacles. Once a month. We actually
- 8:22Speaker 1: have a competition for it. Today happens to be the
- 8:26Speaker 1: day of the month. We do that too. Want to
- 8:29Speaker 1: come check things out and well, maybe do some pet training,
- 8:34Speaker 1: she asks, Of course I do, you respond perfect well,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I have some other things to do, but well, Sullivan
- 8:44Speaker 1: here is one of the best pet trainers I have.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'll let her show you around. Hey, follow me, Sullivan says,
- 8:54Speaker 1: weaving towards you to follow after her. As you follow
- 8:59Speaker 1: and look around, and you see all kinds of very
- 9:03Speaker 1: interesting animals doing very interesting things. There are tiny unicorns
- 9:09Speaker 1: with glowing horns. There are puppies with sparks dancing around
- 9:15Speaker 1: their paws and bodies, cats with leafy tails, what look
- 9:21Speaker 1: to be hamsters floating around in little bubbles of air,
- 9:26Speaker 1: dragon lings that are no bigger than house cats, flapping
- 9:30Speaker 1: flower petal wings, and well creating flowers all over the place.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Eventually you come to a stop outside a little covered building. Well,
- 9:43Speaker 1: the first thing you have to do is pick a pet,
- 9:47Speaker 1: Sullivan says, uh, okay, I can pick any pet in here.
- 9:54Speaker 1: That's right, Sullivan says, every pet here has a power
- 10:00Speaker 1: two some have fire, some have ice, water, wind, grass, clouds, flowers, lightning,
- 10:09Speaker 1: or even other mysterious powers. You look around the little
- 10:15Speaker 1: fenced in area outside the building. Most pets are running
- 10:20Speaker 1: and playing, jumping, rolling, shooting fireballs or strange magical energy
- 10:25Speaker 1: at each other. But one pet is not. A little
- 10:31Speaker 1: cat is just sitting alone atop a scratched wooden crate.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It has black stripes, sharp yellow eyes, and the grumpiest
- 10:42Speaker 1: face you've ever seen on a living creature. He looks
- 10:47Speaker 1: like he's been personally offended by well, everything that Sullivan
- 10:55Speaker 1: says is Oliver. Oliver hisses at a butterfly that passes it.
- 11:01Speaker 1: The butterfly decides it has somewhere else to be and
- 11:05Speaker 1: quickly makes its way out of there. He looks You
- 11:10Speaker 1: start to say mean, Sullivan continues, well, I was gonna
- 11:17Speaker 1: say annoyed. Well, Oliver's been here for a while. Lots
- 11:24Speaker 1: of kids have tried to train him, but he just grabvels, scratches,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and pretty much refuses to do anything. We have never
- 11:32Speaker 1: convinced him to do a single obstacle, which is kind
- 11:35Speaker 1: of the whole point of this place. Oliver turns his
- 11:39Speaker 1: head and stares at you directly. You immediately feel judged
- 11:44Speaker 1: and well, as if his distaste is being reflected straight
- 11:50Speaker 1: at you. What powers does he have? You ask, still
- 11:55Speaker 1: uncomfortable from his gaze. Well, we don't know, says. Every
- 12:02Speaker 1: time we try to test him, he just refuses to
- 12:05Speaker 1: do anything, and sometimes he just scratches us. You make
- 12:09Speaker 1: your way inside the enclosure and move over towards Oliver.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Oliver lifts one paw and gives a tiny angry But
- 12:22Speaker 1: something about it doesn't sound right to you. It doesn't
- 12:27Speaker 1: sound mean, it sounds hurt. You walk a little closer,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and Oliver hisses, turning sideways and sticking his back straight
- 12:37Speaker 1: up in the air, becoming well like a giant puffball.
- 12:42Speaker 1: May I interject, Spaceship's voice says, coming from your watch,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I believe scanning this animal may provide possible answers as
- 12:53Speaker 1: to its grumpy behavior. Would you allow me to do so? Uh? Sure,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Sullivan answers, a little bit confused about why there's a
- 13:04Speaker 1: robotic voice coming out of your watch. You hold the
- 13:08Speaker 1: watch up and a blue light shoots out, scanning the
- 13:13Speaker 1: little cat. Oliver tries to swat the beam away, but
- 13:18Speaker 1: it doesn't work. Scan complete, Spaceship says, it seems that
- 13:24Speaker 1: Oliver's right back knee has an untreated injury, likely very
- 13:30Speaker 1: old movement, probably causes him a great deal of pain
- 13:36Speaker 1: that may explain his grumpy behavior. Sullivan's eyes go wide
- 13:43Speaker 1: his knee. Oh, Oliver, we didn't know. We had the
- 13:48Speaker 1: vet look him over, but she didn't find anything. If
- 13:52Speaker 1: you would allow me to assist, spaceship, says, My ship
- 13:57Speaker 1: is equipped with the highest level of medical care. I
- 14:02Speaker 1: should be able to fix the cat in no time.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Uh.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I guess that's okay. Sullivan answers, and soon a little stretcher,
- 14:13Speaker 1: being carried by little helper bots, floats over from the
- 14:18Speaker 1: ship and lands beside Oliver. The other pets move backward,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and Oliver backs away, hissing and sticking his back up
- 14:29Speaker 1: in the air, until one of the robots quickly moves
- 14:33Speaker 1: beside him and injects the cat with well some kind
- 14:38Speaker 1: of medical device. He instantly closes his eyes and falls
- 14:44Speaker 1: over completely asleep. The medical bots very cautiously move the
- 14:51Speaker 1: cat onto the stretcher, fly up in the air, and
- 14:54Speaker 1: straight back towards the ship. You and Sullivan follow close behind.
- 15:00Speaker 1: When you enter the ship, you see that a large
- 15:03Speaker 1: part of the back section has been transformed into a
- 15:07Speaker 1: little medical bay. Oliver sits on a floating cushion in
- 15:13Speaker 1: the center as the helper bots begin to scan his knee.
- 15:18Speaker 1: The procedure is minor, Spaceship says, repairing damage tissue, reducing inflammation,
- 15:27Speaker 1: reinforcing joint structure. All you really see is the team
- 15:32Speaker 1: of little helper bots shining blue lights over the cat's
- 15:36Speaker 1: knee as he sleeps. But apparently it's working. Procedure complete.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Waking Oliver up. Now, a robot injects something else into
- 15:48Speaker 1: the cat. His eyes pop open, and he stands straight up.
- 15:54Speaker 1: He takes a step forward, and then another. He bends
- 15:59Speaker 1: his back legs and then jumps straight onto your shoulder.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Sullivan gasps, I've never seen him jump before. Oliver rubs
- 16:11Speaker 1: his face against your cheek and purrs so loudly that
- 16:15Speaker 1: you can feel the vibration. Purring intensity has increased. I
- 16:22Speaker 1: believe this indicates a successful operation, Spaceship says, you smile. Well,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I think maybe he wants to train like the others.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I guess maybe he does. This is amazing. Well, follow me,
- 16:40Speaker 1: we can find out if he really does want to train.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Back outside, Sullivan leads you to the training course. All right,
- 16:49Speaker 1: she says, before Oliver starts, I'll show you what some
- 16:54Speaker 1: of our trained pets can do. First comes a little
- 16:58Speaker 1: fire puppy with orange fur and floppy little ears. This
- 17:03Speaker 1: is hot Dog, Sullivan says. Hot Dog barks proudly. His
- 17:09Speaker 1: paws burst into tiny flames, but they don't seem to
- 17:13Speaker 1: burn the grass or anything, which is kind of weird.
- 17:16Speaker 1: He races forward to a row of tall wooden hurdles
- 17:21Speaker 1: and blasts little fire jets behind him, launching himself up
- 17:25Speaker 1: over each one. Eh, he has fire boost jumps. It
- 17:30Speaker 1: really helps with obstacles like this, Sullivan explains. Hot Dog lands,
- 17:36Speaker 1: spins in a circle, and sneezes a puff of smoke. Next,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Sullivan brings up a green cat with leafy looking whiskers.
- 17:47Speaker 1: This is grassy. Grassy runs toward a tall wall covered
- 17:52Speaker 1: in vines. She grows new vines straight out of the ground.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They twist into a stair case, and the cat easily
- 18:02Speaker 1: trots up and over the wall as if it was nothing.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Then comes a little tiny hamster floating inside a swirl
- 18:12Speaker 1: of air. This is stream, short for air stream, of course,
- 18:18Speaker 1: she explains. Stream squeaks and spins around in a circle.
- 18:23Speaker 1: A little tornado of air forms under her, lifting her
- 18:27Speaker 1: up through a set of floating hoops. Oh wow, you say, yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 1: airpower can be of benefit, Sullivan answers. Next, comes a
- 18:41Speaker 1: rainbow puppy. This is Cloudy, Sullivan says, cloudy. The rainbow
- 18:46Speaker 1: pup Cloudy bounds forward and creates soft little rainbow clouds
- 18:53Speaker 1: under her baws, bouncing from one to another over a gigantic,
- 18:59Speaker 1: well human made canyon. Finally, Sullivan brings out a small
- 19:06Speaker 1: dragonling with pink and green scales. This his Rose. The
- 19:12Speaker 1: flower dragon Rose flutters into the air, breathes out, and
- 19:19Speaker 1: a stream of glowing petals appears in front of her.
- 19:23Speaker 1: The petals stick themselves together, forming into a bridge, which
- 19:28Speaker 1: the dragon uses to get across a muddy pit. Couldn't
- 19:32Speaker 1: the dragon just fly though, you ask? Well, yeah, but
- 19:37Speaker 1: it's not as impressive looking as a flower bridge, Sullivan says, right,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you see Oliver still sitting on your shoulder, luckily not
- 19:48Speaker 1: digging its claws in watching every move they make. His
- 19:53Speaker 1: eyes are sharp, now, not angry, more more interested. Sullivan
- 20:00Speaker 1: looks at him, Well, Oliver, are you ready? Oliver jumps
- 20:06Speaker 1: down off of your shoulder and moves over to the
- 20:09Speaker 1: starting line, straight across from the hurdle jump Take it. Slow,
- 20:15Speaker 1: you say. Oliver crouches, then his paws glow orange, just
- 20:21Speaker 1: like hot Dogs. He launches forward with a burst of
- 20:25Speaker 1: fire and clears the first hurdle, then the second, and
- 20:30Speaker 1: then all five. Hot Dog barks in astonishment. Sullivan drops
- 20:38Speaker 1: her clipboard. Did did he just copy hot Dog's fire boost?
- 20:45Speaker 1: Maybe he's a fire type, she says. Oliver sits and
- 20:51Speaker 1: licks one paw, pretending like it was nothing. All right, Well,
- 20:56Speaker 1: let's try the vine wall, Sullivan says. Walks up to it,
- 21:01Speaker 1: flicks his tail, and green vines burst from the ground,
- 21:07Speaker 1: just like they did for the other cat. They twist
- 21:12Speaker 1: into steps as they did for Grassy and well. Oliver
- 21:17Speaker 1: bounds up the steps to the top of the obstacle,
- 21:21Speaker 1: looking very proud, and again quietly licking his paw and
- 21:27Speaker 1: then wrapping it on the top of his head.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Ho it's a.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Grass type two, Sullivan says, in confusion. Next, Oliver steps
- 21:41Speaker 1: up towards the floating hula hoops, the one the air
- 21:45Speaker 1: hamster made its way through with such ease. His whiskers
- 21:50Speaker 1: start to glow pale blue, and wind starts to swirl
- 21:55Speaker 1: all around you. It forms a little tornado underneath it,
- 22:00Speaker 1: lifting him up into the air and allowing him to
- 22:05Speaker 1: fly smoothly through the spiral of little hoops. Sullivan just
- 22:11Speaker 1: watches in amazement. Nacs the cat walks up to the
- 22:16Speaker 1: little Man made well canyon and starts to produce little
- 22:21Speaker 1: rainbow clouds beneath its paws, one and then another. He
- 22:27Speaker 1: hops from one to the other as if they're little
- 22:29Speaker 1: stepping stones, until he reaches the other side, where he
- 22:34Speaker 1: has to cross a muddy pit. Oliver takes a breath,
- 22:39Speaker 1: releases a stream of glowing petals, which all form a
- 22:44Speaker 1: path across the mud. He walks over it with his
- 22:48Speaker 1: tail held high. Sullivan just stares. He doesn't have just
- 22:56Speaker 1: one elemental power. He's he's a mimic or a multi
- 23:03Speaker 1: elemental cat or something. She says. Correction, spaceship interrupts from
- 23:10Speaker 1: your watch. Oliver appears to possess adaptive elemental mimicry after
- 23:16Speaker 1: observing another pet's power. He can produce it with high accuracy,
- 23:22Speaker 1: So he has like any pet power you ask, likely yes,
- 23:28Speaker 1: provided he sees it used first. Oliver moves back over
- 23:33Speaker 1: beside you and rubs against your leg. You bend down
- 23:37Speaker 1: and scratch him behind the ears. Wow. This is incredible. Oliver,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you're quite the pet. But uh well, it's almost time
- 23:50Speaker 1: for our actual competition. You too want to join? She asks,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you look down at Oliver, who just in response, I guess.
- 24:03Speaker 1: So you spend a little more time practicing with Oliver
- 24:08Speaker 1: as Sullivan gets the competition ready, but by the afternoon
- 24:14Speaker 1: the place starts to fill up with all sorts of
- 24:17Speaker 1: kids and their own pets from all across Pet World.
- 24:22Speaker 1: There's a mini unicorn that looks like you can shoot
- 24:25Speaker 1: beams of light out of its horn. There's a little
- 24:29Speaker 1: griffin baby who controls wind with its wings, an ice
- 24:34Speaker 1: fox who freezes the ground ahead of it, a water
- 24:38Speaker 1: turtle who creates floating little water bubbles or shields or something.
- 24:46Speaker 1: There's also an animal that looks rather creepy, some sort
- 24:49Speaker 1: of lightning ferret you believe that moves as fast as lightning,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and a little yellow blur. There's even a frog that
- 24:59Speaker 1: looks like it's made out of lava. The ground burns
- 25:03Speaker 1: and melts beneath it. Sullivan's sister Landon steps up to
- 25:09Speaker 1: an announcer booth. Welcome everyone to this month's Pet World
- 25:14Speaker 1: Obstacle course. The crowd cheers. Today we will test your
- 25:20Speaker 1: pet training and your pet powers to see who the
- 25:25Speaker 1: best obstacle pet is. Winner gets this cool trophy. She
- 25:31Speaker 1: holds a large trophy up in the air. The crowd
- 25:35Speaker 1: cheers again. You and Oliver sit and watch the first competitors.
- 25:41Speaker 1: The first one is sparklehoof the mini Unicorn. She races forward,
- 25:47Speaker 1: lights up her horn, and creates glowing ramps over the hurdles.
- 25:53Speaker 1: She finishes rather quickly, and the crowd cheers. The little
- 25:58Speaker 1: griffin baby apparently named feather Top is up next. It
- 26:03Speaker 1: uses its powerful wing gusts to soar over the pits
- 26:07Speaker 1: and through the hoops, again, finishing with almost no problems
- 26:13Speaker 1: at all. The ice fox goes next, freezing the ground
- 26:18Speaker 1: in front of it and just sort of slipping its
- 26:21Speaker 1: way over the obstacles, through the hoops, and across a
- 26:26Speaker 1: giant beam of ice. The water turtle goes next, simply
- 26:32Speaker 1: floating in little bubbles across canyons. The lightning fairet zaps
- 26:37Speaker 1: through the tunnel maze so quickly that well, honestly, most
- 26:42Speaker 1: of the crowd, including you, entirely misses it, and the
- 26:46Speaker 1: lava frog, well, the lava frog just accidentally melts everything
- 26:51Speaker 1: beneath it and never finishes the race, but after rebuilding,
- 26:56Speaker 1: it's finally your turn, all Oliver. Oliver responds by purring loudly,
- 27:05Speaker 1: and now Landon says on the microphone, we have Oliver,
- 27:12Speaker 1: the mystery cat and former grump. The crowd murmurs. Some
- 27:19Speaker 1: kids recognize him and immediately look towards their old wounds
- 27:24Speaker 1: from attempting to train this particular cat. You bend down
- 27:29Speaker 1: beside him. Don't worry, just do your best. It's your
- 27:32Speaker 1: first competition after all. He bumps his forehead against you,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and you scratch him on the side of the head.
- 27:40Speaker 1: The starting bell rings and Oliver explodes forward with hot
- 27:46Speaker 1: Dog's fire boost, clearing the first row of hurdles in
- 27:50Speaker 1: an easy single jump. He reaches a wall, his paws
- 27:55Speaker 1: glow like sparkle hoof's horn, and he creates some sort
- 27:59Speaker 1: of ramp of light straight up the side. He races
- 28:04Speaker 1: up and over the top before getting to the spinning
- 28:08Speaker 1: hoop section. He gathers air underneath him, floats up in
- 28:13Speaker 1: the wind, and flies straight through the thing with the
- 28:18Speaker 1: power of stream or well, perhaps that Griffin. It's hard
- 28:22Speaker 1: to tell exactly who he's mimicking. In this case. He
- 28:26Speaker 1: comes to a balance beam next and projects ice straight
- 28:31Speaker 1: over top of the thing, moving, running and sliding across
- 28:36Speaker 1: in an instant. The crowd is amazed. Next, he moves
- 28:42Speaker 1: up to a muddy pit and combines the hole, rose
- 28:46Speaker 1: power and grass thing together, growing vines with beautiful blossoms
- 28:53Speaker 1: covering them across the pit, and then well simply running
- 28:58Speaker 1: across them with the balance and reflexes of a cat. Last,
- 29:05Speaker 1: he comes to a canyon. He takes a deep breath
- 29:10Speaker 1: and blows out a giant bubble. The cat jumps inside
- 29:16Speaker 1: the bubble and floats across the canyon. The bubble pops
- 29:22Speaker 1: on the other side, and Oliver lands on the ground,
- 29:26Speaker 1: standing proud. Right on the finish line, the crowd goes crazy.
- 29:35Speaker 1: The once grumpy cat that used to simply hiss and
- 29:39Speaker 1: scratch everyone as just well finished the obstacle course in
- 29:44Speaker 1: almost record time. I mean it was slower than the
- 29:47Speaker 1: lightning ferret, of course, but it was impressive. You follow
- 29:52Speaker 1: the crowd as they move towards the stage where Landing
- 29:55Speaker 1: and Sullivan are currently standing ready to hand out trophies. Well,
- 30:01Speaker 1: very good. Our main trophy, of course, goes to the
- 30:06Speaker 1: lightning ferret. It blew the others out of the water
- 30:10Speaker 1: for this particular competition in terms of speed. Anyways, the
- 30:16Speaker 1: kid and the lightning ferret make their way up onto
- 30:19Speaker 1: the stage, grab the trophy, and everyone cheers. However, as
- 30:25Speaker 1: many of you know, we often give out special prizes,
- 30:29Speaker 1: and this time we think one is warranted. So the
- 30:35Speaker 1: prize for the most improved pet with the greatest style
- 30:40Speaker 1: goes to Oliver the mimic cat or whatever it is.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Sullivan pulls another trophy from behind the podium and lifts
- 30:51Speaker 1: it up. You look down at Oliver, who jumps up
- 30:54Speaker 1: onto your shoulder. Once again. You make your way onto
- 30:58Speaker 1: the stage, take the trophy and hold it up in
- 31:02Speaker 1: the air as all of the other kids cheer. Soon
- 31:07Speaker 1: the crowd's part and you find yourself standing across from
- 31:11Speaker 1: Landen and Sullivan once again. Well, thanks, guys, thanks for
- 31:17Speaker 1: letting me train Oliver here. He's a pretty cool cat. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 1: he sure is. Well, I kind of have to get
- 31:26Speaker 1: going to other adventures. Uh, you guys able to take
- 31:30Speaker 1: care of this little guy?
- 31:32Speaker 4: You ask?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Of course we can. We'll train him with all of
- 31:36Speaker 1: the best pet powers on the pet training planet. They say.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You kneel down one last time and give all of
- 31:46Speaker 1: her a scratch on both sides of his cheeks. He
- 31:50Speaker 1: brushes up against your leg and then moves over towards Sullivan.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You walk back on to the spaceship, turn around as
- 32:01Speaker 1: the ship lifts up off of the ground and the
- 32:04Speaker 1: back hatch closes. You lay down on the couch as
- 32:10Speaker 1: spaceship flies up through the atmosphere and out into space
- 32:15Speaker 1: once again. You close your eyes, lay your head down
- 32:21Speaker 1: on the pillow, and just start going through your memories
- 32:26Speaker 1: of the day. With each breath, you let go of
- 32:31Speaker 1: the tension and your muscles. You let your arms and
- 32:35Speaker 1: legs melt into the couch. You release the tension and
- 32:40Speaker 1: your shoulders, your neck, and even your face. Then you
- 32:49Speaker 1: let your mind wander off to thoughts of new dreams,
- 32:54Speaker 1: new adventures, and new superpowered animals to come. Goodnyed Everyone.
