  Speaker 2: it is Christmas. And one thing we have been doing

  Speaker 2: a lot of is helping people out with Big Christmas Wish.

  Speaker 3: Yeah, my daughter and I listen every morning on the

  Speaker 3: You had told me that you and your daughter listen

  Speaker 3: from school, and how you thought this Christmas Wish program

  Speaker 3: was so amazing for people. And I looked it up

  Speaker 3: on my own and saw that I could nominate you,

  Speaker 3: and I did, and these wonderful people got in contact

  Speaker 3: with me and said, how would you like to extend

  Speaker 3: the Christmas wish to Jess, and I said, well, she

  Speaker 3: really needs it, She really deserves it. She needs all

  Speaker 3: of our help right now, and so that's the reason

  Speaker 1: Could you share a little bit with us? Why did

  Speaker 3: I'm writing to nominate my dear friend Jess for your

  Speaker 3: Christmas wish. She and her fourteen year old daughter listened

  Speaker 3: to your station every day in their drive to and

  Speaker 3: from school, and it's something they truly look forward to.

  Speaker 3: Jess as the kind of person who gives endlessly without
• 1:44
  Speaker 3: ever asking for anything in return. She's a special education

  Speaker 3: teacher in the Frazy School district, a single mother and
• 1:51
  Speaker 3: a homeowner who has worked incredibly hard to provide stability
• 1:54
  Speaker 3: for her daughter. She recently earned her master's degree, but
• 1:58
  Speaker 3: because she had to complete her her student teaching with
• 2:01
  Speaker 3: no income for several months, she fell financially behind. That
• 2:05
  Speaker 3: setback has left her struggling to catch up. Despite doing
• 2:08
  Speaker 3: everything right. Even while carrying the load, Jess continues to
• 2:12
  Speaker 3: serve her community. She volunteers with the local club Scouts,
• 2:16
  Speaker 3: says yes to helping kids who need support, pitches in
• 2:19
  Speaker 3: for families facing tough times, and works a second job
• 2:23
  Speaker 3: whenever she can. Her instinct is always to help, never
• 2:27
  Speaker 3: to ask. Being chosen for your Christmas wish would be
• 2:30
  Speaker 3: life changing for Jess. It would take a massive weight
• 2:33
  Speaker 3: off of her shoulders and give her a chance to
• 2:35
  Speaker 3: breathe again after years of pushing forward without complaint. Thank

  Speaker 3: you for considering Jess, she is one of the most selfless,

  Speaker 3: hard working people I know and supporting her with me

  Speaker 3: and lifting up a mom, a teacher, and a community

  Speaker 3: volunteer who has quietly given so much of herself to others.

  Speaker 2: you a lot, and so when we read what Karen

  Speaker 2: had to say about you, we knew exactly what we

  Speaker 2: needed to do here at Big ninety eight point seven.

  Speaker 4: You clearly are the definition of just a wonder woman,

  Speaker 4: and you even remind me a bit of my own mom,

  Speaker 4: who never asks for anything, but just does for others
• 3:24
  Speaker 4: without expecting anything in return, but hearing your story, we
• 3:29
  Speaker 4: want to grant you a Christmas wish today and we

  Speaker 4: want to ease.

  Speaker 1: Some of that burden.

  Speaker 4: So we're going to go ahead and give you one

  Speaker 4: thousand dollars to put towards any of all that you've

  Speaker 4: got going on, and hopefully we can ease some of

  Speaker 4: the burden. We just we know that you deserve it
