- 0:32Speaker 5: It's National Bowtie Day. National Cherry Turnover Day. National Power
- 0:38Speaker 5: Rangers Day. They debuted in 1993. It's International Read Comics
- 0:44Speaker 5: in Public Day. I like this one for Kyle. It's
- 0:47Speaker 5: International Snack Over Your Keyboard Day. Love that. And one
- 0:51Speaker 5: that we celebrate here at the John Jane Rich Show
- 0:54Speaker 5: in full effect. It's National Radio Commercial Day.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We celebrate that every day.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 1: We're good at that.
- 1:01Speaker 6: You know, yesterday we were talking a little bit about
- 1:04Speaker 6: food news, and Rich, we started this new segment called
- 1:06Speaker 6: Food News, where Rich has food news. I actually have
- 1:09Speaker 6: a little food news. I don't know if you have
- 1:10Speaker 6: this food news, but may I bounce my food news
- 1:12Speaker 6: off you?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And now, John Jay and Rich present.
- 1:18Speaker 7: Food News.
- 1:20Speaker 8: Food News.
- 1:21Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich have Food News.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Peppin'..
- 1:29Speaker 6: I was just kind of excited about this. I'm not
- 1:31Speaker 6: really a potato chip guy. I love potato chips, but
- 1:33Speaker 6: I'm trying to eat as healthy as I can. But
- 1:35Speaker 6: Pringles is coming out with a thick Pringle so it
- 1:39Speaker 6: doesn't break when you dip it, which I think is
- 1:41Speaker 6: just genius.
- 1:42Speaker 8: You dip Pringles?
- 1:43Speaker 9: Part of the beauty of Pringles is healthy.
- 1:45Speaker 10: Hey, who dips Pringles?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Hold on a minute.
- 1:48Speaker 6: You can still get thin Pringles, but now you can
- 1:51Speaker 6: get dipping Pringles. I would dip Pringles in the freaking onion.
- 1:54Speaker 6: What do you call it? Sour cream and onion thing.
- 1:56Speaker 8: I've never dipped a Pringle.
- 1:59Speaker 11: I do love that dip, but I've never even considered
- 2:01Speaker 11: dipping Pringles.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Me either.
- 2:03Speaker 8: I've never dipped it and gone, dang it, if only
- 2:05Speaker 8: this were a liquor.
- 2:07Speaker 1: A chip breaks.
- 2:08Speaker 11: Now we're going to have to get it when they
- 2:09Speaker 11: come out for a Try It Tuesday.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You're not their test audience.
- 2:12Speaker 3: No.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Rich, what else you got for food news?
- 2:14Speaker 5: Well, McDonald's is trying AI again because you've probably gone
- 2:18Speaker 5: to the drive-thru and been like, well, this isn't working
- 2:19Speaker 5: too well. But they're testing a new AI drive-thru ordering
- 2:23Speaker 5: system called Arch IQ built with Google technology. Now, it's
- 2:27Speaker 5: currently being tested at five locations worldwide.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And guess what?
- 2:32Speaker 5: They won't say where, but one of them is right
- 2:34Speaker 5: here in Phoenix and all over the country. So the
- 2:38Speaker 5: previous AI drive-thru test ended in 2024 after some extremely
- 2:42Speaker 5: wrong orders, says McDonald's. We've got the robots dialed in, though, now,
- 2:47Speaker 5: and we're giving it another shot.
- 2:48Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's happening. You might hit it.
- 2:50Speaker 5: If you hit it, let us know.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Let us know.
- 2:52Speaker 9: We have to know. I want to pull up and
- 2:54Speaker 9: try the AI McDonald's.
- 2:56Speaker 8: I do not.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And Burger King. I don't like that.
- 2:58Speaker 8: I will boycott that. I want to try it. I
- 3:00Speaker 8: want to see what the hype is.
- 3:01Speaker 1: You know what?
- 3:03Speaker 6: I went to a new sushi place that opened up
- 3:05Speaker 6: at my house the other day. And it's a small place.
- 3:08Speaker 6: And it was one of those places that had the
- 3:10Speaker 6: big iPads that you order.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 6: And I think ordering sushi... is more complicated than that.
- 3:15Speaker 8: Totally.
- 3:16Speaker 6: So I, I was sitting there and there was a
- 3:18Speaker 6: brand new restaurant and the manager comes out and I
- 3:20Speaker 6: was like, Oh, I got to do it on the iPad.
- 3:22Speaker 6: She's like, yeah, she's showing me. And I go, can
- 3:24Speaker 6: we just have like more of a human connection? I go,
- 3:26Speaker 6: can I just order like, and she's like, I can
- 3:28Speaker 6: take your order. And I haven't been back to it.
- 3:30Speaker 6: I mean, they were nice. The sushi was pretty good,
- 3:32Speaker 6: but it was just so complicated. Sometimes you just want
- 3:34Speaker 6: a person to talk to because then you can ask
- 3:36Speaker 6: questions and say, can I get this? Is the only
- 3:39Speaker 6: way to get it is to have the tempura?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Can I have it now?
- 3:41Speaker 9: Whatever.
- 3:41Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 3:42Speaker 5: Or how about even like what's really good? You can
- 3:44Speaker 5: ask a person that and they'll send you the right sushi.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Speaking of really good, one more here. Burger King apologizes
- 3:52Speaker 5: because their nuggets, they say they weren't great.
- 3:55Speaker 1: They were dry.
- 3:56Speaker 5: But now, as of today, Burger King is rolling out bigger,
- 4:00Speaker 5: juicier chicken nuggets, and they're 100% white meat with a
- 4:05Speaker 5: new marinade in crispier breading. They're also adding limited-time special sauces, creamy, tangy,
- 4:11Speaker 5: a little spicy, with ketchup, garlic, pepper, and barbecue flavors.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Now that sounds pretty good. Good job, Burger King, stepping
- 4:18Speaker 5: it up with the nugs.
- 4:19Speaker 1: All right, that's food news.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Food news!
- 4:22Speaker 6: The other day, it was National Dog Day, so we
- 4:24Speaker 6: wanted to hear from people that were in the doghouse.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Madison, are you in the doghouse? Do you know someone
- 4:30Speaker 1: in the doghouse?
- 4:31Speaker 12: Yes, my dad is in the doghouse.
- 4:33Speaker 1: What did he do?
- 4:35Speaker 13: So, this was about a year and a half ago.
- 4:37Speaker 13: My dad got caught with a woman's name in his
- 4:40Speaker 13: phone with the exact same name as my mom. Turns
- 4:43Speaker 13: out he has been cheating on my mom with someone
- 4:45Speaker 13: with the same.
- 4:46Speaker 8: Name as my mom.
- 4:47Speaker 2: No.
- 4:47Speaker 4: So he wouldn't get caught.
- 4:49Speaker 14: Wow.
- 4:49Speaker 10: So he like went out to find her and was like, oh,
- 4:52Speaker 10: you have the same name as my wife.
- 4:53Speaker 9: This is definitely going to work.
- 4:55Speaker 5: No.
- 4:56Speaker 13: He actually knew her before. This lady was one of
- 5:00Speaker 13: my brother's friend's mom. So he already knew her, but
- 5:03Speaker 13: it was like kind of like one of those, oh,
- 5:05Speaker 13: you have the same name as her. This is how
- 5:07Speaker 13: I wouldn't get caught.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Hmm. Wow.
- 5:09Speaker 6: So it's not like he put her in the phone
- 5:11Speaker 6: as the same name. He's literally, because they had the
- 5:14Speaker 6: same name, he thought this would be an easy way
- 5:16Speaker 6: to do it.
- 5:17Speaker 13: Yes, but he did put them in as the same
- 5:19Speaker 13: name in his phone. Like they have nicknames for my mom,
- 5:22Speaker 13: my mom and my dad do. He put it in
- 5:24Speaker 13: as the same thing so that he would not get caught.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 5:28Speaker 5: That doesn't make sense for him because when the phone rings,
- 5:31Speaker 5: he doesn't know which one it is right away, does he?
- 5:35Speaker 5: Got to pick it up and find out.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 5:36Speaker 13: But my dad keeps his phone on silent, so he'll
- 5:38Speaker 13: just call them back.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Okay, so now it's been a year. Is your dad
- 5:42Speaker 1: still with your mom?
- 5:43Speaker 14: They are, yes.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So they're working it out?
- 5:47Speaker 13: You could say that.
- 5:47Speaker 12: You could definitely say that.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Is your dad still seeing the other woman, too?
- 5:52Speaker 13: No, we think he's seeing a different woman.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Oh, different name. Is that his argument? Hey, wait a minute.
- 5:57Speaker 1: This girl, hold on a minute, honey. She's got a
- 6:00Speaker 1: different name. And then she'd be like, oh, that can't
- 6:03Speaker 1: make sense.
- 6:04Speaker 13: It is a different name, but she does have a
- 6:05Speaker 13: lot of similar features that my mom has, so it's
- 6:09Speaker 13: kind of crazy.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh, she looks the same? She's got a type.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:12Speaker 9: That's crazy.
- 6:13Speaker 1: She either has to have the same name or look
- 6:15Speaker 1: like your mom.
- 6:17Speaker 13: Yeah, and how my mom found out originally is because
- 6:20Speaker 13: my dad said, hey, can you call my phone? And
- 6:23Speaker 13: my mom was like, oh, yeah, I know.
- 6:25Speaker 15: Exactly where your phone was.
- 6:26Speaker 13: But then he started getting a phone call, and she's like,
- 6:29Speaker 13: I'm not calling you yet.
- 6:30Speaker 16: What the heck?
- 6:31Speaker 17: Oh, my God.
- 6:33Speaker 8: Stop it. Wow.
- 6:36Speaker 5: I didn't see that coming.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Wow.
- 6:39Speaker 13: My dad loves my husband, so my husband has gotten
- 6:43Speaker 13: all of the dirt.
- 6:44Speaker 10: Oh, because your dad is confining in your husband like
- 6:47Speaker 10: that's his bro.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yep, exactly.
- 6:49Speaker 13: My dad thinks that he's like some young kid like
- 6:52Speaker 13: getting away with everything.
- 6:54Speaker 8: Like that's so silly. It's like obviously that news is
- 6:56Speaker 8: going to go back to you. How's your mom?
- 6:58Speaker 1: How's your mom handle you now?
- 7:00Speaker 13: At first it was really hard for her, but me
- 7:02Speaker 13: and my mom are really close. So she's she's definitely
- 7:05Speaker 13: kind of. found her voice a lot more and she's
- 7:08Speaker 13: definitely taken a lot more control of her life. So
- 7:11Speaker 13: I'm really proud of how far she's come with everything.
- 7:13Speaker 13: So she definitely handled it a lot better than she
- 7:16Speaker 13: did before. She's still petty and I love her for it.
- 7:18Speaker 18: She definitely handled.
- 7:20Speaker 8: It really well.
- 7:21Speaker 5: Let us give her some advice from us. Have her
- 7:23Speaker 5: go out and start hooking up with somebody that looks
- 7:25Speaker 5: like your dad. That's her revenge.
- 7:28Speaker 15: There was a.
- 7:28Speaker 13: Guy that hit on her at the bank and I
- 7:30Speaker 13: told her, I was like, you know what? If dad
- 7:31Speaker 13: gets a free pass, so do you.
- 7:33Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 7:34Speaker 2: There you go.
- 7:34Speaker 9: Not you encouraging.
- 7:35Speaker 1: All right, Madison.
- 7:38Speaker 6: What a crazy story. Thank you for listening, Madison.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 7:43Speaker 15: Have a great day.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You too. Wow. Man, why are you in the doghouse?
- 7:48Speaker 6: Peyton, what's the vibe for horoscope today?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Peyton's predictions.
- 7:52Speaker 10: I am breaking down the exact energy shift that your
- 7:55Speaker 10: sign needs to make to wrap up the rest of
- 7:57Speaker 10: the week. Also, if it's your birthday today, you are
- 7:59Speaker 10: a Virgo. You share a birthday with Jack Black, Honey
- 8:02Speaker 10: Boo Boo, Jennifer Coolidge, Shania Twain, Armie Hammer, Luis Guzman,
- 8:06Speaker 10: and Kyle Massey.
- 8:07Speaker 1: All right. 877-937-1047 to get your horoscope read. Cindy, good morning.

- 8:21Speaker 9: You know the tea.
- 8:21Speaker 10: So make sure that you keep your communication direct and
- 8:23Speaker 10: honest to avoid getting pulled into drama that isn't even
- 8:26Speaker 10: yours to deal with.
- 8:27Speaker 9: Nice. Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 20: Thank you so much.
- 8:31Speaker 9: You're welcome.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Bye, Cindy.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Bye.
- 8:33Speaker 21: Bye.
- 8:34Speaker 20: It was great talking to you all.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Hi, Betty.
- 8:36Speaker 1: What's your sign?
- 8:37Speaker 16: Capricorn for my Capricorns.
- 8:39Speaker 10: You guys are going to looking for a change of
- 8:41Speaker 10: scenery to kick off the weekend. So map out like
- 8:43Speaker 10: a mini trip or something, try something completely new to
- 8:46Speaker 10: break up your usual routine over the weekend.
- 8:48Speaker 9: And you'll kind of start off on Mindy feeling really good.
- 8:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 8:52Speaker 9: You're so welcome.
- 8:53Speaker 1: All right, Betty, have a great day. How about Virgos?

- 9:05Speaker 10: Plans and, Because everyone's going to follow your lead, especially
- 9:08Speaker 10: during Virgo season.
- 9:08Speaker 1: All right. Let's go with Libras.
- 9:12Speaker 10: Kyle, your social battery is really running low as it
- 9:15Speaker 10: is today. So give yourself some permission to cancel those
- 9:18Speaker 10: non-essential plans that you have going on.
- 9:20Speaker 9: Log off a little bit early and get some quiet rest.
- 9:23Speaker 11: I feel like I don't have a social life right
- 9:24Speaker 11: now because it's all sports. And I can't cancel those.
- 9:27Speaker 11: So I'll work on it.
- 9:29Speaker 8: I'll work on it.
- 9:30Speaker 9: You need to go sit away from all the parents.
- 9:32Speaker 9: Just watch.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Watch.
- 9:33Speaker 9: Don't engage. No, it's funny.
- 9:35Speaker 11: That's not in my nature because I'm already like, so
- 9:37Speaker 11: should I talk to the new moms yet about making
- 9:39Speaker 11: baseball hats for the moms or not?
- 9:41Speaker 8: And Scott's like, give it a rest. You need to
- 9:43Speaker 8: give them a minute. I was like, okay.
- 9:45Speaker 9: Because do they all know each other on the- Some
- 9:48Speaker 9: of them do.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Yeah, we're the new people.
- 9:49Speaker 9: We're new.
- 9:50Speaker 8: We're new here. Do you guys want to make hats?
- 9:51Speaker 1: How about Pisces?
- 9:54Speaker 10: Rich, for you, your relationship is what's going to take
- 9:57Speaker 10: center stage over the weekend.
- 9:58Speaker 9: So really focus on- the real.
- 10:00Speaker 10: Things that are happening instead of the things that you're
- 10:02Speaker 10: just making up in your head. Make sure that you
- 10:04Speaker 10: show up consistently for the people that are showing up
- 10:06Speaker 10: for you because they are going to see your colors
- 10:08Speaker 10: all over the place.
- 10:10Speaker 5: It's date night tonight. We're going to some place. I
- 10:12Speaker 5: think John Jay told me about it, unless you didn't.
- 10:14Speaker 1: What was it called? I don't know. The Ends. Oh, yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 1: it's great.
- 10:18Speaker 6: It's freaking great. Yeah, it's really good. They do everything
- 10:20Speaker 6: like beef tallow and all this other stuff and those
- 10:22Speaker 6: seed oils.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It's really great. Yeah, it'd be fun to see post-video
- 10:25Speaker 1: of you in your wheelchair. Go on there.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Wheelchair?
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he blew out his knee.
- 10:30Speaker 5: I know.
- 10:30Speaker 8: Are you actually in a wheelchair now?
- 10:32Speaker 1: No, I am not. No, I think he will tonight.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I'm going to hop around a little bit. All right,
- 10:37Speaker 1: how about Leo's?
- 10:38Speaker 10: Yeah, for Leo's, I'm a Leo, and money matters are
- 10:40Speaker 10: really on the top of mind right now, so we
- 10:43Speaker 10: actually need to cancel our plans for the weekend.
- 10:45Speaker 9: We need to lock down on.
- 10:46Speaker 10: Our weekend budget and really focus on long-term goals instead
- 10:49Speaker 10: of just quick flexes.
- 10:50Speaker 1: All right, if you need.
- 10:51Speaker 6: To get to your sign there, I'll post it on
- 10:52Speaker 6: our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 11:00Speaker 8: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Robert, good morning. What happened to you?
- 11:04Speaker 21: So I own a small farm, probably about four acres.
- 11:08Speaker 21: And I was out in the morning, kind of not
- 11:11Speaker 21: super light, the sun was rising still, and I was
- 11:13Speaker 21: feeding my animals some water. And I heard, you know
- 11:16Speaker 21: like how a dog is trapped and it's whining and whining?
- 11:19Speaker 21: So I went behind my house to see what was
- 11:21Speaker 21: going on and I saw a dog with its hind
- 11:24Speaker 21: leg twisted between barbed wires that jumped over my fence,
- 11:27Speaker 21: so it was stuck there and trapped. I decided right away,
- 11:31Speaker 21: without even thinking, I'm gonna go help this animal. So
- 11:33Speaker 21: I ran up to the barbed wire fence, realized I
- 11:35Speaker 21: couldn't untie his leg, and I reached over the fence
- 11:39Speaker 21: to grab his upper body. And when I did, he
- 11:41Speaker 21: turned around and latched onto my arm. He didn't shake
- 11:44Speaker 21: around or anything. He just bit solidly. He wasn't full grown.
- 11:48Speaker 21: He was like maybe a year old, right? And I
- 11:51Speaker 21: pulled him over the fence, and I realized.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I'm face-to-face with a young wolf. And I just look
- 11:56Speaker 3: at his eyes, and I'm.
- 11:57Speaker 12: Like, please let go, dude.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Please let go.
- 11:59Speaker 11: Oh, my gosh.
- 11:59Speaker 3: And he did.
- 12:01Speaker 21: I got his leg out of the fence. He let go,
- 12:03Speaker 21: and he ran off.
- 12:04Speaker 22: Whoa.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Shouldn't he be, like, your best friend right now?
- 12:06Speaker 2: I know.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Everywhere you guys go together and everything. You and Wolfie. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: like Call of the Wild.
- 12:12Speaker 21: No, but my wife does say that the marks on
- 12:15Speaker 21: my arm that he left is a wolf kiss.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Yes.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Man.
- 12:18Speaker 10: I know she's probably like, are you going to turn
- 12:21Speaker 10: into a werewolf at midnight?
- 12:23Speaker 5: And was that wolf coming for your chickens on the farm?
- 12:25Speaker 5: Is that what was happening?
- 12:27Speaker 21: Yeah, I have a bunch of animals. He could have
- 12:29Speaker 21: been there for anything.
- 12:30Speaker 15: I really don't know.
- 12:33Speaker 21: Nothing was gone. Nothing was dead. So, you know, whatever
- 12:36Speaker 21: it was, my dogs probably spooked him off. I originally
- 12:38Speaker 21: thought he was one of my dogs. You know, it
- 12:42Speaker 21: was low light, so I didn't really see too well
- 12:44Speaker 21: until I was face to face with him.
- 12:47Speaker 6: That's a crazy story. Was it a beautiful wolf? Wolves
- 12:49Speaker 6: are beautiful, I think. I think they're just so awesome.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Those glassy steel eyes.
- 12:53Speaker 21: He had blue eyes, and he looked like, you know,
- 12:55Speaker 21: the black and gray. I mean, he was really handsome. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 21: it's just a crazy story.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Then he turns into Michael Jackson, the thriller, when he.
- 13:05Speaker 15: Goes, Oh!
- 13:05Speaker 9: Oh!
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Let's all do a wolf howl. Who can do
- 13:10Speaker 1: the best wolf howl? Go, Peyton, go.
- 13:12Speaker 9: Oh!
- 13:13Speaker 5: Go, Rich. Oh!
- 13:15Speaker 1: Boy, you, Kyle.
- 13:18Speaker 8: Because he's hurt.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Oh, he's a hurt little boy.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Oh, damn.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh, man. I think Ronald might have turned into one
- 13:24Speaker 1: right there. You might have turned into one.
- 13:26Speaker 5: What happens to you on a full moon?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:30Speaker 18: All right, Robert.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Thanks for calling in, brother.
- 13:31Speaker 21: No problem, y'all.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Have a good day, man.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Good morning, Josie.
- 13:35Speaker 11: What's going on?
- 13:44Speaker 15: Hi, I had a story also about going to Vegas
- 13:48Speaker 15: that I thought was pretty crazy.
- 13:49Speaker 7: You guys might want to hear.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We love Vegas stories. What do you got?
- 13:52Speaker 15: So I went to Vegas with some friends one time
- 13:55Speaker 15: and we were on Fremont street and they were like
- 13:57Speaker 15: asking people for like their phones and they were recording
- 14:00Speaker 15: everyone like on the stage. And I was like, Oh,
- 14:02Speaker 15: that's pretty cool. So I gave the guy my phone
- 14:05Speaker 15: and he stood up there for a few minutes recording everyone.
- 14:08Speaker 15: And then when he went to give me back my
- 14:10Speaker 15: phone and He gave it to the wrong person and
- 14:12Speaker 15: they ran down the street with my phone and I
- 14:15Speaker 15: had to get a whole new phone.
- 14:16Speaker 11: Oh my gosh, you were straight up robbed. Do you
- 14:18Speaker 11: think it was a scam like they were working together?
- 14:22Speaker 15: It was crazy. I was like, there's no way this
- 14:24Speaker 15: just happened to me. We were like, all my friends
- 14:26Speaker 15: are running down the street. They unfortunately were way quicker
- 14:29Speaker 15: than us, but I was like, there's no way.
- 14:32Speaker 6: So when you say you had to get a whole
- 14:34Speaker 6: new phone, does that mean there are options where you
- 14:36Speaker 6: can get half a phone?
- 14:41Speaker 15: I wish, I wish because it was really expensive to
- 14:44Speaker 15: get another iPhone.
- 14:45Speaker 11: Oh yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy. I wonder what they did with it.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:50Speaker 15: And unfortunately, it was brand new, too, and I had
- 14:54Speaker 15: never had an iPhone, so I didn't know about putting
- 14:56Speaker 15: the location thing on it yet. So I was just like,
- 14:59Speaker 15: my friends were like, dang, that sucks.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Did you have any pictures on the phone, like nudes
- 15:05Speaker 1: or anything?
- 15:09Speaker 15: I mean, everyone has some spicy photos, right?
- 15:12Speaker 6: Well, here's what I was thinking. If they steal the phone...
- 15:15Speaker 6: then they download the pictures. Then they probably call the
- 15:18Speaker 6: number in a couple of days when you have a
- 15:19Speaker 6: new phone. And they're like, Hey, if you don't give
- 15:22Speaker 6: me a thousand dollars, I'm going to post these pictures.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You know, I mean, that's, I figured that's what I
- 15:26Speaker 1: figured their scam was, but maybe not.
- 15:28Speaker 15: No, I never got any information about it. I never,
- 15:31Speaker 15: I went down to the phone service place and they
- 15:34Speaker 15: were like, yeah, unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it.
- 15:36Speaker 15: And I don't think I ever saw anything online of myself,
- 15:40Speaker 15: so that's good.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Do you think that maybe then you need to take
- 15:42Speaker 1: better pictures? Maybe they weren't that great.
- 15:44Speaker 8: Maybe they weren't that great.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you should be offended there were no leaks. Yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying.
- 15:49Speaker 10: Plus, I feel like if your nudes got leaked nowadays,
- 15:51Speaker 10: you could literally just say that's AI.
- 15:53Speaker 9: That's not me.
- 15:54Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You could, but I'm wondering what the purpose was of
- 15:56Speaker 1: them stealing your phone.
- 15:57Speaker 7: That's so true.
- 15:58Speaker 9: And iPhones are kind of useless.
- 16:00Speaker 11: If you don't know i feel like they literally just
- 16:02Speaker 11: wipe them and then they sell them like they probably
- 16:04Speaker 11: didn't even attempt to get in because you probably had
- 16:06Speaker 11: a passcode on it what they do is they probably
- 16:08Speaker 11: just factory reset the phone and then it's brand new
- 16:11Speaker 11: that so then they can just sell it black market
- 16:13Speaker 11: right i just.
- 16:13Speaker 1: See them go through the phone go no no look
- 16:16Speaker 1: at the pictures.
- 16:16Speaker 3: No bikini picture no.
- 16:18Speaker 8: No no like oh man she's.
- 16:23Speaker 6: They call you back. Hey, listen, we got your phone.
- 16:25Speaker 6: We don't use any of the pictures. You can come
- 16:26Speaker 6: pick it up anytime you want.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Josie's like, I can take more provocative. Give me my
- 16:29Speaker 1: phone back. I'll show you. What about this picture?
- 16:31Speaker 6: Let me text you some more photos. Josie, thanks for
- 16:34Speaker 6: sharing that story with us.
- 16:36Speaker 15: Thank you so much. I hope you guys have a
- 16:37Speaker 15: great day.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I love you guys. You too.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Bye.
- 16:41Speaker 11: John Jay and Rich are live on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of information
- 16:48Speaker 6: and Rich has life hacks. My information is just, I mean,
- 16:52Speaker 6: this is next level what I'm about to tell you
- 16:54Speaker 6: right now.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Have you seen the latest with ChatGPT?
- 16:56Speaker 8: What is going on with ChatGPT?
- 16:58Speaker 6: ChatGPT, there's a new open AI feature that allows ChatGPT
- 17:02Speaker 6: to not only read your texts, but actually text for you.
- 17:06Speaker 1: This is an influencer talking about it.
- 17:08Speaker 17: ChatGPT has now launched Apple Messages integration on Mac, allowing
- 17:13Speaker 17: it to access your entire message history and send text
- 17:16Speaker 17: messages on your behalf. Essentially, this new feature launched by
- 17:20Speaker 17: OpenAI will allow the chatbot to conduct actions within Apple
- 17:24Speaker 17: Messages app. ChatGPT will be able to read your messages,
- 17:27Speaker 17: will be able to write your messages, will be able
- 17:29Speaker 17: to actually hit send on your messages.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Does that bother anybody?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It doesn't bother me. We don't need that. We don't
- 17:37Speaker 1: want that.
- 17:37Speaker 5: I know you prefer to respond to everything, John Jay,
- 17:41Speaker 5: with ChatGPT. But I keep on saying we're better than that.
- 17:44Speaker 5: We have to do better than that.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Listen, I don't.
- 17:46Speaker 11: Mind if you use ChatGPT to pen a text to me.
- 17:51Speaker 11: But at least read it over first, number one, before
- 17:55Speaker 11: it just sends it on its own, which makes it
- 17:57Speaker 11: a little more personal.
- 17:59Speaker 8: That's the very least you can do.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Like, what if it agrees to plans?
- 18:02Speaker 5: I know.
- 18:05Speaker 8: You texted me.
- 18:05Speaker 9: No, I didn't.
- 18:06Speaker 8: That was chat GPT.
- 18:07Speaker 11: And like number two, it's like that is just a
- 18:09Speaker 11: recipe for disaster.
- 18:10Speaker 8: All kinds of communication disasters.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I want to try it for a while and see
- 18:13Speaker 1: if it works.
- 18:14Speaker 5: You'll be like, no problem. I'll send you Apple cash.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Here it comes.
- 18:17Speaker 6: That's so funny. I guess, is it active now? I
- 18:21Speaker 6: don't know if it's active now. Anyway, toilet paper can
- 18:23Speaker 6: become a hot commodity again. I guess prices are soaring
- 18:26Speaker 6: next month. American toilet paper companies rely on Canadian raw materials,
- 18:31Speaker 6: and the U.S. government is pushing a trade war with Canada.
- 18:33Speaker 14: No.
- 18:34Speaker 1: So toilet paper's going up.
- 18:35Speaker 8: Groceries can't get any more expensive. That's insane.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 18:39Speaker 6: A new poll asked, do you use a hotmail.com email address?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Anybody here have Hotmail?
- 18:45Speaker 5: I do.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Do you still?
- 18:46Speaker 8: I do.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You do?
- 18:47Speaker 11: It's my junk account. So you know whenever they say,
- 18:49Speaker 11: can we get your email address?
- 18:50Speaker 9: I'm like, gladly.
- 18:51Speaker 1: That's so smart.
- 18:52Speaker 8: It's a Hotmail account.
- 18:52Speaker 1: That's so smart. 18% of people said yes. I get this.
- 18:56Speaker 1: A 35 year old man was arrested in D.C.
- 18:59Speaker 6: He was illegally parked, but he got a ticket because
- 19:01Speaker 6: in the back of his truck, he had a giant guillotine.
- 19:05Speaker 6: It's unclear how real it is, but he was charged
- 19:08Speaker 6: with carrying a dangerous weapon.
- 19:10Speaker 1: A guillotine, that's a thing they use to cut off heads.
- 19:13Speaker 8: Or a diamond.
- 19:14Speaker 5: I mean, that's its only job is to cut off
- 19:16Speaker 5: people's heads.
- 19:17Speaker 1: So why would he need that? You guys ever take
- 19:19Speaker 1: a screenshot of something to save it?
- 19:20Speaker 2: Sure do.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Researchers at BYU are saying that taking a screenshot makes
- 19:25Speaker 6: you less likely to remember what you saved. They found
- 19:28Speaker 6: that people consistently remembered less about pictures they screenshotted than
- 19:32Speaker 6: pictures they just looked at.
- 19:33Speaker 8: No, why do we screenshot? I always screenshot to save it.
- 19:35Speaker 8: That's why we screenshot it, so we don't have to
- 19:36Speaker 8: remember it.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Because it's there.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Shopping malls across the country are roping off the best
- 19:40Speaker 6: parking spaces to charge extra for preferred parking. And people
- 19:43Speaker 6: are wondering why they should even go to the mall
- 19:45Speaker 6: in the first place now.
- 19:46Speaker 8: Right, let's get it online then yeah i think malls.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Malls should be like grateful that people are coming right now.
- 19:51Speaker 11: To pay us in the parking lot yeah if you
- 19:53Speaker 11: are lucky enough to get a front row spot or
- 19:56Speaker 11: a shady spot we will pay five bucks as a
- 19:58Speaker 11: bonus because you got real lucky.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Yeah thanks for coming yeah right rich no offense this
- 20:03Speaker 6: next story but a study found that 10 minutes of
- 20:06Speaker 6: super slow jogging at a pace barely exceeding walking um
- 20:10Speaker 6: can actually change people's brain activity, improves their thinking skills,
- 20:13Speaker 6: and raises their moods.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I don't think you can walk right now. I am immobile.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Anybody here have an OnlyFans account?
- 20:20Speaker 8: No.
- 20:21Speaker 6: According to OnlyFans, 5,076 creators on OnlyFans, 5,000, have made
- 20:29Speaker 6: over a million dollars.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Dang.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Dang.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Don't say a lot.
- 20:34Speaker 8: Although I would kind of think it maybe would have
- 20:35Speaker 8: been more than that.
- 20:37Speaker 6: A woman in Italy can see again after doctors performed
- 20:40Speaker 6: what is believed to be the world's first transplant of
- 20:42Speaker 6: central retina. It was a 60, 70 year old woman
- 20:47Speaker 6: named Elena. She lost her vision in a car crash
- 20:49Speaker 6: and now she can see.
- 20:50Speaker 1: She couldn't see before.
- 20:52Speaker 9: That's wild.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 9: That's cool.
- 20:54Speaker 6: There's a website called the aura 100.com. You can vote
- 20:58Speaker 6: on celebrities to see which one has the most aura
- 21:02Speaker 6: in pain.
- 21:02Speaker 1: How are you defined aura?
- 21:03Speaker 10: Aura is just like the energy that you bring, the
- 21:06Speaker 10: kind of vibe that you have.
- 21:07Speaker 9: If you have a good aura, you're probably a good person.
- 21:10Speaker 9: You're probably a little good looking. You're probably a little fly.
- 21:12Speaker 6: The number one celebrity that has the best aura, just
- 21:16Speaker 6: a slight lead over Jesus Christ.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you who that is. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: want you guys to guess, but Jesus Christ is second. Okay.
- 21:23Speaker 8: That's really sad.
- 21:24Speaker 5: You would imagine his aura would be popping. Yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I mean, almost every picture of him has an aura.
- 21:30Speaker 7: Right.
- 21:30Speaker 9: Because he's that guy.
- 21:31Speaker 6: Henry Cavill is number 15. Tom Holland is 14. Dwayne
- 21:35Speaker 6: The Rock Johnson, 13. Jim Carrey, 12. Michael Jackson, 11.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Chris Evans, 10. McConaughey, 9. Robert Downey Jr.
- 21:41Speaker 1: 8.
- 21:42Speaker 6: Tupac Shakur, 7. There's a Twitch streamer. Extra Emily is 6.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Christian Bale, 5. Willem Dafoe is 4. John Cena is
- 21:50Speaker 6: number 3. Jesus Christ is number 2. This celebrity is
- 21:54Speaker 6: the number one celebrity voted with the best aura, the
- 21:57Speaker 6: most aura.
- 21:57Speaker 8: Chris Hemsworth.
- 21:58Speaker 2: No.
- 21:59Speaker 9: Huh.
- 22:00Speaker 8: Then I think that list is false. Like Justin Bieber.
- 22:03Speaker 1: When I give you the celebrity's name, you're going to go, oh, yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 1: you're right.
- 22:07Speaker 9: More than Jesus Christ?
- 22:08Speaker 17: Yes.
- 22:09Speaker 9: I know.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Keanu Reeves.
- 22:11Speaker 2: No.
- 22:12Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Rich, what do you got for life hacks?
- 22:14Speaker 9: He does have a good aura, but not more than
- 22:16Speaker 9: the big dog.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Pretty strong.
- 22:18Speaker 5: Okay, so, hey, Peyton, you love having little parties at
- 22:21Speaker 5: the house, little cocktail parties.
- 22:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:23Speaker 5: I'm going to show you how to take your drink
- 22:26Speaker 5: making from backyard barbecue to fancy parties. So the problem
- 22:30Speaker 5: we have is when the ice cubes look all gross
- 22:34Speaker 5: and bubbles inside and you.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Want it to make it look awesome. Here's the trick.
- 22:39Speaker 5: You get a small cooler, top off of the cooler,
- 22:43Speaker 5: fill that cooler with cold water, leave the lid off,
- 22:48Speaker 5: put the whole thing in the freezer overnight. So the
- 22:51Speaker 5: insulation makes the water freeze slow from the top down,
- 22:54Speaker 5: pushing all the cloudiness and all the bubbles inside. to
- 22:58Speaker 5: the bottom. So then you get your little ice pick,
- 23:00Speaker 5: chunk it off, and it looks cool inside a cup.
- 23:03Speaker 5: It's crystal clear, and it will keep those drinks cold
- 23:07Speaker 5: longer because it will melt a lot slower.
- 23:10Speaker 1: There you go.
- 23:10Speaker 5: That life hack and many more can be found at johnjainrich.com.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Morning, Lexi. Thanks for holding. You're on the air. What's up?
- 23:24Speaker 20: Hey, so... I have a situation where my boyfriend's family
- 23:29Speaker 20: thinks that I don't speak Spanish because I implied that
- 23:34Speaker 20: I don't speak Spanish and that's not entirely true. And
- 23:39Speaker 20: I've now kept this going for, um, I guess it's
- 23:43Speaker 20: been about two months.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Oh, why? So you can hear if they're talking about
- 23:46Speaker 5: you behind your back or in front of your face?
- 23:50Speaker 20: Well, it didn't start like that. Um, it has kind
- 23:52Speaker 20: of become that, but, um, it really just started because
- 23:56Speaker 20: my boyfriend's first language is Spanish. His whole family speaks Spanish.
- 24:00Speaker 20: And so when he asked if I spoke Spanish, I
- 24:03Speaker 20: was just like, Oh, a little, like I was just
- 24:05Speaker 20: being modest because it's not my first language. But, um,
- 24:10Speaker 20: actually I, uh, I took AP Spanish and, um, and
- 24:15Speaker 20: I also did a mission trip in Puerto Rico. So
- 24:17Speaker 20: I wouldn't say I'm fluent, but I'm definitely conversational or above.
- 24:21Speaker 20: I can understand quite a bit. And, um, I have
- 24:25Speaker 20: hung out with his family since then, and I have
- 24:27Speaker 20: heard them saying some stuff about me. Like, his mom
- 24:30Speaker 20: thinks I'm loud, and his sister says he could do
- 24:34Speaker 20: better out.
- 24:35Speaker 5: His friend actually.
- 24:37Speaker 20: Defended me, which was really nice. But, you know, I
- 24:41Speaker 20: figure whatever. Like, I'm not dating them. I'm dating him.
- 24:44Speaker 20: So it's not that I'm so intimidated by... What they're
- 24:48Speaker 20: saying about me, I'm more scared of what he'll do
- 24:52Speaker 20: when he finds out that I have understood this whole
- 24:54Speaker 20: time and I didn't tell him. Like, is he going
- 24:55Speaker 20: to dumb me?
- 24:56Speaker 5: Nah, what you're saying is, you know, I've been around
- 24:59Speaker 5: you and your family so much, I've learned to adapt.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I've picked up the language.
- 25:03Speaker 9: You picked it up in two months?
- 25:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 11: I just feel like out of nowhere, you say a
- 25:07Speaker 11: sentence and blow their mind.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 11: And now they know that you know, and you know
- 25:11Speaker 11: that they know, and there's a whole thing there, and
- 25:13Speaker 11: they're going to be a lot nicer.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 20: Oh, my gosh, I should wait until his mom says something, like,
- 25:18Speaker 20: I don't know, truly catty about me, and then I
- 25:21Speaker 20: should just, like, slide in there and, I don't know.
- 25:24Speaker 20: ask her to pass me the potatoes.
- 25:26Speaker 8: Yes!
- 25:27Speaker 1: Here's what I would say. When you're around them next time,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you can say to them, el lápiz es amarillo. You
- 25:33Speaker 1: should say that to them. See what they say. Translate, please.
- 25:37Speaker 8: The pencil is yellow.
- 25:38Speaker 1: The pencil is yellow.
- 25:39Speaker 8: Okay. I don't think so.
- 25:41Speaker 1: If you just said that in the conversation, they're going
- 25:42Speaker 1: to be like, what the hell's wrong with her?
- 25:45Speaker 8: What pencil?
- 25:46Speaker 5: Now the problem isn't that you're too loud.
- 25:47Speaker 1: The problem is that you might be insane. My uncle's
- 25:50Speaker 1: in Mexico.
- 25:50Speaker 18: The problem is that I've got a screw list.
- 25:52Speaker 5: My.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Uncles in Mexico, you know, I'm half Mexican and they
- 25:56Speaker 6: used to joke with me because when they were in
- 25:58Speaker 6: Mexico teaching them English, they'd.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Be clase repitan por favor. El lápiz es amarillo. The
- 26:05Speaker 1: pencil is yellow. That's what they were teaching me how
- 26:07Speaker 1: to speak English.
- 26:07Speaker 6: The whole class would be like, the pencil is yellow.
- 26:11Speaker 20: That's the one most important thing to know in Spanish.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Everybody knows.
- 26:17Speaker 20: No, I don't want them to see me as even
- 26:21Speaker 20: more unhinged.
- 26:23Speaker 16: At this point, it's a.
- 26:24Speaker 20: Genuine worry on my part. I'm actually very.
- 26:28Speaker 12: Afraid about it.
- 26:29Speaker 5: Now she's got a secret weapon.
- 26:31Speaker 9: The ball is in your car. You have the upper
- 26:33Speaker 9: hand right now.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:35Speaker 9: Yeah, like just sit back and ride.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Yeah, just listen. All right, well, thank you for calling in, Lexi. What?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 26:42Speaker 9: When?
- 26:43Speaker 20: I mean, should I let this play out longer? Should
- 26:45Speaker 20: I nip it in the bud like really fast?
- 26:47Speaker 1: No, just let it play out. And then eventually, if
- 26:50Speaker 1: your future with him continues, then you can be like,
- 26:52Speaker 1: I need to learn Spanish.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Then once you learn it for him, he's going to
- 26:56Speaker 5: think that you're like, Wow, you did that for me?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 20: I did it for love.
- 27:00Speaker 5: There's no reason for you to tip your hand at
- 27:03Speaker 5: this point. You've got all the cards.
- 27:05Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:06Speaker 4: All right.
- 27:06Speaker 1: All right. Thanks, guys. Thanks, Lexi. You guys remember Second
- 27:13Speaker 1: Aid Update?
- 27:14Speaker 6: It was the girl that went out with the guy,
- 27:16Speaker 6: and then he was trying to put her on the GLP-1s.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Remember that, right?
- 27:19Speaker 6: It was pretty controversial on this show. But she ended
- 27:22Speaker 6: up making out with him anyway. She had a full-on
- 27:23Speaker 6: makeout session. She said he was hot. So we thought
- 27:26Speaker 6: it'd be kind of fun to tell us a story
- 27:28Speaker 6: of you going out with somebody, and it didn't work out.
- 27:32Speaker 1: But you made out with him anyway, right?
- 27:34Speaker 2: 877-937-1047.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Somebody on this show, by the way, has the best
- 27:41Speaker 6: version of that story that I don't think anybody can beat.
- 27:45Speaker 6: And I'll tell you who it is after we take
- 27:46Speaker 6: a couple calls. Laura, tell us about this horrible thing
- 27:49Speaker 6: that happened, but you made out with him anyway.
- 27:53Speaker 7: Okay, so I went on this mini golf date at
- 27:56Speaker 7: Castles and Coasters with this guy. And, oh, my God,
- 28:00Speaker 7: he was so competitive that it just completely ruined the night.
- 28:05Speaker 7: He was arguing with the employee about, like, a penalty
- 28:08Speaker 7: and actually, like, He fist pumped him in the air
- 28:11Speaker 7: when he beat me by one stroke. So I was
- 28:14Speaker 7: just so turned off that I was texting my friend
- 28:17Speaker 7: during it. I was like, never again, never, never, ever
- 28:20Speaker 7: in my life. But then he walked me to my
- 28:22Speaker 7: car and he apologized because he realized he was a
- 28:25Speaker 7: douchebag and he'd been acting like a psycho. And then
- 28:28Speaker 7: I started laughing and I told him he was ridiculous.
- 28:33Speaker 7: And he goes, can I at least get a goodbye kiss?
- 28:37Speaker 10: And yes.
- 28:37Speaker 5: He was cute.
- 28:38Speaker 12: He had a great face.
- 28:39Speaker 7: So I said, fine, you have five seconds.
- 28:43Speaker 23: And then, yeah, somehow that turned into us making out
- 28:46Speaker 23: against my car. And then, yeah, I, listen, I still
- 28:51Speaker 23: hate mini golf, but I dated him.
- 28:54Speaker 3: For six months.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Oh, six months.
- 28:55Speaker 8: Wow.
- 28:57Speaker 1: All right. Very cool, Laura. Thank you very much. 877-937-1047.
- 29:01Speaker 6: Bree, we want to hear about a terrible date, but
- 29:06Speaker 6: you made out with him anyway.
- 29:08Speaker 16: So I went on this date with this guy and
- 29:11Speaker 16: he was just, he was so fine, like sent from
- 29:15Speaker 16: heaven fine. And it went pretty well. We went for
- 29:18Speaker 16: tacos and we went for margaritas and we ended up
- 29:22Speaker 16: sitting outside for like two hours. But the only problem
- 29:26Speaker 16: was that his breath.
- 29:27Speaker 18: Literally smelled like * * * *.
- 29:30Speaker 16: And he kept leaning in. to talk to me and
- 29:35Speaker 16: I would literally turn my face and take like two
- 29:39Speaker 16: sips of the margarita and turn back and talk to him.
- 29:42Speaker 16: And he would lean in again.
- 29:43Speaker 5: So I'm like, oh, my God.
- 29:44Speaker 12: I had a great time.
- 29:47Speaker 16: And the conversation was great. The date was great. But afterwards,
- 29:53Speaker 16: when we were walking to the car, we finally got
- 29:55Speaker 16: to my door. He leaned in for a kiss. And
- 30:00Speaker 16: I had two seconds to think. So I was like, okay,
- 30:05Speaker 16: the date was great. He's hot. So I'm going to
- 30:08Speaker 16: kiss him. So I kissed him. And I rolled down
- 30:13Speaker 16: the window the whole ride home and aired myself out
- 30:16Speaker 16: because I feel like I kept smelling him.
- 30:19Speaker 1: On my lips.
- 30:21Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 30:22Speaker 9: You're rough.
- 30:22Speaker 3: I did.
- 30:23Speaker 15: I gave him a second date.
- 30:24Speaker 1: You gave him a second date.
- 30:27Speaker 5: Okay. And?
- 30:28Speaker 16: Yeah, but I just made sure I brought gum. Gross.
- 30:34Speaker 16: I had an amazing time.
- 30:36Speaker 6: That's why they tell you never, if somebody offers you gum,
- 30:38Speaker 6: take it. It may be a hint.
- 30:41Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 6: All right, that's very good. Thank you, Brie. Thank you
- 30:46Speaker 6: very much. Who here has a story better than that?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Anybody? I know someone that does. Anybody?
- 30:52Speaker 9: I'm like, it can't be me.
- 30:53Speaker 8: It has to be Kyle. It's Kyle.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Do you know where I'm going with this story?
- 30:56Speaker 7: Do you know?
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 9: So why are you trying to shovel it off on me?
- 31:01Speaker 8: Kyle has the best story of just, and it's way
- 31:02Speaker 8: better to make it out.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 31:13Speaker 8: It's really not a great story.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Which one am I talking about?
- 31:15Speaker 8: You're talking about the bouncer.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 8: Yeah, I love that story.
- 31:18Speaker 7: I know.
- 31:19Speaker 8: I know you do.
- 31:20Speaker 9: Okay, well, tell the story. Do you know the story, Peyton?
- 31:22Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Maybe?
- 31:23Speaker 1: It's a great story.
- 31:24Speaker 8: It was a long time ago. I like to preface
- 31:26Speaker 8: it with that.
- 31:27Speaker 11: A long time ago. I visited my friends in LA.
- 31:31Speaker 11: We were at this club and the bouncer there, I
- 31:34Speaker 11: was like, oh my gosh, he's so hot. So like
- 31:35Speaker 11: the whole night we were like, I was like, I
- 31:37Speaker 11: don't care about talking about anybody else in this club
- 31:38Speaker 11: except this bouncer.
- 31:40Speaker 8: So stupid. And at the end of the night, me
- 31:43Speaker 8: and my friends are like, oh, we got to go
- 31:44Speaker 8: get a cab. And he's like, I'll give you guys
- 31:46Speaker 8: a ride. And we're like, okay, sweet.
- 31:48Speaker 11: And simultaneously, I was also in town for a work thing, right?
- 31:53Speaker 11: So it was like during the day, I have to
- 31:55Speaker 11: do this work thing. At night, I'm visiting my friends
- 31:57Speaker 11: who live in LA. And so I'm staying at a hotel.
- 32:00Speaker 11: So he drops my friend off at her place. And
- 32:03Speaker 11: I'm like, I got to go back to the hotel.
- 32:04Speaker 11: And he's like, I'll take you back.
- 32:05Speaker 8: And I'm like, okay, all right, sounds great. We go
- 32:09Speaker 8: back to the hotel and I'm just like, really annoyed.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Like I have to wake up early. Like I don't
- 32:13Speaker 8: really want to like do it.
- 32:14Speaker 11: And he's like, maybe I'll come up for a little bit.
- 32:15Speaker 11: I'm like, no, I was like, I really got to
- 32:18Speaker 11: wake up early. I have this work thing tomorrow. Not
- 32:20Speaker 11: a big deal.
- 32:21Speaker 8: No, just let me go. I'm like, fine.
- 32:23Speaker 11: So I'm like, but I'm going to bed just so
- 32:25Speaker 11: you know, like you can come in.
- 32:26Speaker 8: That's great.
- 32:27Speaker 11: But I'm going to sleep. Cut to like three hours
- 32:31Speaker 11: of this guy, like trying to kiss me. And I'm like,
- 32:32Speaker 11: I'm trying to go to bed and try to kiss me.
- 32:34Speaker 11: And finally I'm like, fine.
- 32:36Speaker 8: Fine, we'll just do things, okay? Just so he goes away.
- 32:40Speaker 11: So the next morning, I go, I got to go
- 32:42Speaker 11: to work. Just see yourself out whenever. I go to
- 32:46Speaker 11: this event all day for work.
- 32:47Speaker 8: I come back. The guy is still there.
- 32:49Speaker 9: Oh, heck no.
- 32:49Speaker 14: Right?
- 32:50Speaker 8: He had ordered a.
- 32:51Speaker 11: Bunch of, like, food from the hotel to room service, right?
- 32:58Speaker 8: And, like, he was sleeping. So the food was eaten.
- 33:01Speaker 8: He's sleeping in the bed.
- 33:02Speaker 11: And I'm like, I'm just like, I've reached the point.
- 33:04Speaker 11: I passed the point. Mahalo, this guy's got to go.
- 33:06Speaker 11: I rip open the curtains. I'm like, you got to go.
- 33:09Speaker 8: Get out of here. Like, go. And he's like, why?
- 33:12Speaker 15: I'm like, just get out of here.
- 33:15Speaker 11: Two weeks later, I get a letter at the radio
- 33:18Speaker 11: station from him.
- 33:19Speaker 5: A letter.
- 33:19Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 11: With a headshot of his apologizing for not paying for
- 33:25Speaker 11: the room service that he ordered and a headshot reminding
- 33:30Speaker 11: him about reminding me, I guess, of what he looks
- 33:33Speaker 11: like or something like that and asking me to go
- 33:35Speaker 11: out again.
- 33:36Speaker 9: I'm like.
- 33:36Speaker 11: First of all, I don't live there. Second of all,
- 33:38Speaker 11: I only hooked up with you to get you out
- 33:39Speaker 11: of there, and you never left.
- 33:40Speaker 1: No, well, she hooked up with him to get him out.
- 33:42Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Just to get him out.
- 33:43Speaker 9: But, like, sometimes a girl's got to do what a
- 33:45Speaker 9: girl's got to do.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Nobody can beat that story.
- 33:47Speaker 5: I get it.
- 33:47Speaker 9: Nobody.
- 33:48Speaker 6: That's way more intense than cheering because he beat you
- 33:54Speaker 6: at putt-putt golf.
- 33:55Speaker 1: That's way more intense than he's.
- 33:56Speaker 6: Got bad breath. That's great. That is a beautiful story.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Nobody can beat that. If you can't beat it, try it.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Call us.
- 34:04Speaker 8: I'm sure someone can.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Olivia. Olivia. Olivia Rodrigo.
- 34:18Speaker 22: Hello.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Am I on? I can't hear me very well. Okay.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Now I can.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Now.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Okay. It's okay. All right. Anyway, Olivia Rodrigo. Check this out.
- 34:29Speaker 6: This weekend is her Daisy Chain Festival. Daisy Chain Fields.
- 34:36Speaker 6: It's a brand new music festival this weekend. Monday on
- 34:39Speaker 6: this radio station, we're going to highlight her performance and
- 34:42Speaker 6: play all of her stuff.
- 34:43Speaker 1: You can only hear it here on KISS. It's Monday
- 34:45Speaker 1: night at 7 on KISS.
- 34:45Speaker 9: And that's really cool.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Something's not right. Something happened to our microphones. All these buttons.
- 34:53Speaker 9: Happy Friday.
- 34:55Speaker 11: I was just saying that the festival is really cool
- 34:57Speaker 11: because isn't that the one where she said all of
- 34:58Speaker 11: like they're doing like the proceeds are going to charities
- 35:01Speaker 11: and all the people performing there actually are performing for free.
- 35:04Speaker 8: So all the money can go to charities, which is
- 35:05Speaker 8: really awesome.
- 35:06Speaker 11: And then Olivia Rodrigo, they just announced that she's got
- 35:09Speaker 11: a new drink with Taco Bell that's going to come
- 35:11Speaker 11: out September 24th and they're calling it. You seem pretty
- 35:14Speaker 11: pink for a Baja Blast. So it's a Baja Blast
- 35:16Speaker 11: mixed with pink lemonade. So it's going to be very aesthetic.
- 35:18Speaker 9: Actually, I'm so good. Yeah, I know.
- 35:21Speaker 6: Uh, Roxy, we were getting into like being on a
- 35:24Speaker 6: date and it was going bad, but you made out
- 35:26Speaker 6: with the guy anyway.
- 35:27Speaker 1: What happened to you? Roxy.
- 35:32Speaker 5: Oh, hi.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Hi.
- 35:33Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 35:34Speaker 18: Can you hear me?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Hi.
- 35:35Speaker 18: Good morning, everyone.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Hi.
- 35:37Speaker 10: So I'm so sorry.
- 35:39Speaker 18: Um, I actually caught like, I tune into you guys
- 35:41Speaker 18: every morning, but this morning, um, I tuned in and
- 35:45Speaker 18: I only caught like the last part of Kyle's story.
- 35:49Speaker 18: And so I just called in and I was like, wait,
- 35:50Speaker 18: what are we talking about today? And so anyway, my
- 35:54Speaker 18: story is I went on a date with this guy
- 35:58Speaker 18: and he took me. He was like, yeah, wherever you
- 36:01Speaker 18: want to go. And I just started dating him and stuff.
- 36:04Speaker 18: So he was like, wherever you want to go. And
- 36:06Speaker 18: he's like, you like Olive Garden?
- 36:08Speaker 15: I was like, yeah, let's go.
- 36:09Speaker 18: And I loved, I still love Olive Garden. So we
- 36:13Speaker 18: go there and he's like, order whatever you want. So
- 36:15Speaker 18: we go in and we ordered all this food and
- 36:19Speaker 18: it got to the point where he had to pay
- 36:21Speaker 18: and his card declined. Mind you, I didn't have, I
- 36:26Speaker 18: think I left like my wallet or something in the car.
- 36:29Speaker 18: And so I was so embarrassed. I was like, oh
- 36:31Speaker 18: my gosh, what is going on? And he, again, he tried,
- 36:36Speaker 18: he kept telling the waitress like, oh, try this card. Okay,
- 36:39Speaker 18: try it again. And it kept declining. And I was
- 36:43Speaker 18: just so embarrassed. And then he told me, he's like, I.
- 36:46Speaker 8: Don't know what's going on.
- 36:47Speaker 18: I have money on there. So I made him go
- 36:49Speaker 18: to the ATM. I went to the car, grabbed my wallet.
- 36:52Speaker 18: I ended up paying. And we went to the ATM.
- 36:55Speaker 18: I was like, bruh, like what is going on? Like
- 36:57Speaker 18: where he's like, no, I got like two grand in
- 37:00Speaker 18: my account and whatnot. We go to the ATM. He
- 37:04Speaker 18: pulls out and he kept telling me that he had money.
- 37:07Speaker 18: And he gives me the receipt and it was like negative,
- 37:11Speaker 18: like $ 800. And I was like, why are you lying
- 37:15Speaker 18: to me? And he was just like, I'm sorry.
- 37:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 37:18Speaker 18: I was just, I'm like, why did you take me
- 37:19Speaker 18: on this date? It was so embarrassing. Like it was,
- 37:22Speaker 18: the restaurant was full. It was like 2001. And anyway,
- 37:26Speaker 18: I'll never forget it. But yeah, we still went on
- 37:29Speaker 18: another date. I don't know what I went on another
- 37:32Speaker 18: date with.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Did you make out with him?
- 37:35Speaker 18: I just, what was that?
- 37:37Speaker 1: Did you make out with him?
- 37:39Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 37:40Speaker 1: That's what we're talking about.
- 37:41Speaker 5: That guy's got game. That's a man with game right there.
- 37:45Speaker 1: That's what we're talking about.
- 37:46Speaker 5: I don't know if that's a man with game.
- 37:48Speaker 18: He was just, you know, dark, handsome. You know, he
- 37:51Speaker 18: had all the looks. He just didn't have any money.
- 37:52Speaker 1: All right. Hey, Roxy, thanks for calling in. Thank you.
- 37:57Speaker 6: Eric, you got a similar story. You went out and
- 38:00Speaker 6: then it didn't go well, but what's your.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Story, Eric?
- 38:04Speaker 24: Good morning. So I met, so this was just after
- 38:08Speaker 24: my divorce was finalized. So I met this girl through
- 38:12Speaker 24: Facebook dating and we were kind of like going back
- 38:15Speaker 24: and forth for a little bit and it was around
- 38:17Speaker 24: the holidays. And so we finally decided to meet up
- 38:20Speaker 24: and we met up at Oso over in Gilbert. And
- 38:24Speaker 24: so this is the first day and she keeps on going.
- 38:27Speaker 24: So are you open to having more children? And I
- 38:31Speaker 24: already have two kids and I said, yeah, I'm open
- 38:33Speaker 24: to having more children, but I'm pretty content with having
- 38:36Speaker 24: the two that I have.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I was like, but if.
- 38:39Speaker 24: Something happens in the future, maybe so. And then as
- 38:42Speaker 24: the day is going on and we're having beers and appetizers,
- 38:46Speaker 24: she keeps on going, so you're not snipped? I was like, no,
- 38:50Speaker 24: I'm fully functional, fully running. And then as things keep
- 38:55Speaker 24: on going, she keeps on bringing up.
- 38:56Speaker 1: The baby thing. But she says she wants to be
- 38:58Speaker 1: a good mom. She wants to have a baby. And
- 39:00Speaker 1: then she goes, so how long.
- 39:02Speaker 24: Would it take for you to be committed to.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Have another baby? And I was like, I don't know.
- 39:09Speaker 24: I'm just, uh, I'm just content with what I have
- 39:12Speaker 24: right now. So I haven't really put much thought about it.
- 39:15Speaker 24: And so the whole date was kind of just more
- 39:18Speaker 24: so of just her asking my fertility, how much, uh,
- 39:22Speaker 24: how soon will I be willing to have a kid,
- 39:24Speaker 24: another kid, how many more kids do I want? And,
- 39:26Speaker 24: you know, give you that I'm approaching 40. So I
- 39:30Speaker 24: was thinking more so like, oh, maybe like one more
- 39:32Speaker 24: or something along those lines. But at the end of
- 39:35Speaker 24: the day, I was kind of weirded out a little bit,
- 39:38Speaker 24: but we still.
- 39:40Speaker 1: We tell Nate out.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Oh, right.
- 39:41Speaker 12: It's for you.
- 39:43Speaker 1: It's for you.
- 39:43Speaker 5: All right.
- 39:44Speaker 1: He's like, and now we have three kids together. All right, Eric.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Thanks for calling in. Thank you, man. Thank you very much.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Josh.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Oh, first of all, hold on, Josh. Hold on a second.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Hold on, hold on.
- 39:53Speaker 1: First, we're going to play Minute to Win It. We
- 39:55Speaker 1: need a contestant.
- 39:56Speaker 7: 877-937-1047.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Josh, you're on the air. Go ahead.
- 40:00Speaker 3: I'll take Minute to Win It and both.
- 40:04Speaker 5: No.
- 40:04Speaker 17: No.
- 40:05Speaker 3: I was just checking up on Rich's niece.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Rich's niece? She's good. Knee.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Knee.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Rich's knee. Rich's knee.
- 40:13Speaker 8: How is your knee, Rich?
- 40:15Speaker 6: Before you answer that, Rich, though, Josh, can you tell
- 40:17Speaker 6: that Rich isn't in the studio right now?
- 40:19Speaker 1: He's at his house. Can you tell?
- 40:20Speaker 3: Yeah, because I watched it on YouTube yesterday. I'm like,
- 40:22Speaker 3: he's cutting out.
- 40:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Oh, he was cutting out.
- 40:25Speaker 3: He got played three times yesterday with one contestant.
- 40:28Speaker 1: We did what, three times?
- 40:29Speaker 5: That's right.
- 40:29Speaker 8: We had to restart it because it wasn't working.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Because she couldn't hear him.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Right now, you can hear him. Right now, you can't tell.
- 40:37Speaker 11: Anyway.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Anyway, Rich, how is your knee, Rich?
- 40:40Speaker 5: First of all, my niece is great. She's going to
- 40:42Speaker 5: med school in Oklahoma, so that covers that. And my
- 40:45Speaker 5: knee hurts like a son of a.
- 40:49Speaker 1: So I am on.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Okay, so you guys know that even when I take aspirin,
- 40:54Speaker 5: I go to sleep for like a week. And you've
- 40:56Speaker 5: seen me on caffeine. So last night... My doc gave
- 41:02Speaker 5: me a pain pill for the knee, and I am
- 41:05Speaker 5: so high right now. Everything you guys have said is hilarious. Oh,
- 41:09Speaker 5: my goodness.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Hilarious.
- 41:10Speaker 9: I'm glad you're feeling good then.
- 41:12Speaker 5: So I called John Jay this morning, and I'm like,
- 41:14Speaker 5: first of all, I'm still in a lot of pain,
- 41:16Speaker 5: but I don't think it's a good idea if I
- 41:17Speaker 5: get in my car. But so I got checked out
- 41:20Speaker 5: yesterday by– both my primary doc and then my physical
- 41:25Speaker 5: therapy doc. And they both totally disagree with what's wrong,
- 41:29Speaker 5: but they ordered an MRI, which I didn't do yesterday
- 41:32Speaker 5: because I was kind of out of it, but I
- 41:34Speaker 5: will do this weekend. So the primary care doc thinks
- 41:38Speaker 5: it's meniscus tear. The PT guy thinks it's a hamstring.
- 41:43Speaker 5: And John Jay says, thinks it's something totally different.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I think it's an ACL. And here's why.
- 41:48Speaker 6: Because I have two kids that have torn their ACL
- 41:51Speaker 6: and I've watched every documentary there is now on athletes
- 41:53Speaker 6: that recover.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I'm not saying Rich is an athlete. In fact, he's
- 41:56Speaker 1: far from it.
- 41:57Speaker 6: But one of the common denominators, they all say they
- 42:00Speaker 6: heard a pop. They hear a pop, and Rich said
- 42:02Speaker 6: he heard a pop before he fell into the bathtub.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:05Speaker 1: When he tore whatever he did. He nearly dropped. In
- 42:09Speaker 1: his non-athletic falling into the bathtub.
- 42:11Speaker 10: Well, Rich, who actually did the physical test on your knee?
- 42:14Speaker 10: Because I know that there's a whole bunch of things
- 42:17Speaker 10: that physical therapists and trainers that they have to do
- 42:19Speaker 10: to rule out if you tore any ligaments.
- 42:22Speaker 5: It's called like the Ackley test or something like that.
- 42:26Speaker 5: And OK, here's I'm going to read directly from.
- 42:29Speaker 9: Well, who did it? Your physical therapist?
- 42:30Speaker 10: Because I feel like if they actually physically touched and
- 42:33Speaker 10: examined your knee, then obviously they would be the right one.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:36Speaker 5: So I did the Ackley test with my primary care
- 42:38Speaker 5: and she said, you failed it. But then afterwards. So
- 42:42Speaker 5: she said, meniscus, here's your MRI. Go like wrote up
- 42:46Speaker 5: the script for the MRI. And then the physical therapist
- 42:49Speaker 5: came in and there was actually two of them here.
- 42:51Speaker 5: And they said it doesn't seem like an MRI. It
- 42:53Speaker 5: seems like your hamstring completely blew out. But I still
- 42:58Speaker 5: got to go get an MRI, even if I'm feeling better,
- 43:00Speaker 5: because this has happened before. So I actually don't know
- 43:04Speaker 5: what it is yet, but it hurts so bad that
- 43:08Speaker 5: I'm staying here today. Yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 1: OK. So, by the way.
- 43:12Speaker 6: As long as I've worked with Rich, and it's been
- 43:14Speaker 6: over 25 years, he's only missed, as far as I
- 43:17Speaker 6: can tell. So, I mean, his kids were born, didn't
- 43:19Speaker 6: miss a day, right? He was here the next day.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not like I don't want to be there. Right, right, right.
- 43:23Speaker 6: The only time that I can remember you missing work,
- 43:25Speaker 6: do you remember when you missed work?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Surgery, neck surgery. Neck surgery.
- 43:29Speaker 8: That he blames on you, John Jay.
- 43:31Speaker 6: Why?
- 43:31Speaker 8: Because it was right after the Prince thing.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Oh, no, this was way before that.
- 43:37Speaker 6: So what happened was he had like a tumor, and
- 43:40Speaker 6: I thought he was going to die. I really thought
- 43:43Speaker 6: he was going to die because he had this tumor
- 43:44Speaker 6: in his neck. They're going to operate. So I didn't
- 43:45Speaker 6: know what to do just in case he died. So
- 43:47Speaker 6: I created a Rich Barrett tribute song in case he
- 43:50Speaker 6: did die. And what's topical about it, I have the song.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I found it.
- 43:53Speaker 6: It was from 2004. It was 2004 when I thought
- 43:56Speaker 6: you were going to die. And so I found the song.
- 43:59Speaker 6: And what's great about this song is it's still topical
- 44:01Speaker 6: because the artist of this song is performing with Olivia
- 44:04Speaker 6: Rodrigo this weekend, Sarah McLachlan.
- 44:06Speaker 1: So this is when I thought Rich was going to die.
- 44:09Speaker 6: So we're going to make a new tribute song about
- 44:11Speaker 6: his knee because, you know, you always hear about people, they.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Break a hip, they go in the hospital, they die.
- 44:14Speaker 1: How do you break a hip?
- 44:16Speaker 8: I know.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Well, you tore a knee.
- 44:17Speaker 6: You broke your knee. So if Rich goes into surgery,
- 44:20Speaker 6: if he does the MRI and he's going to have surgery,
- 44:22Speaker 6: he could die. So we're going to get ready to
- 44:23Speaker 6: have clips of that. A new tribute song. But this
- 44:25Speaker 6: is the 2004 tribute song. We thought Richard was going
- 44:28Speaker 6: to die of a tumor.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I will remember you. About six months ago.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Spotted the lump.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Will you remember me?
- 44:40Speaker 1: It's fine. It'll probably go away in a week.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Don't let your love pass you by.
- 44:48Speaker 5: I didn't know what it was, so I went and
- 44:49Speaker 5: checked it out with a couple of doctors.
- 44:51Speaker 8: We know for sure.
- 44:56Speaker 1: It's somewhere like in my neck.
- 44:57Speaker 5: I wonder if we're going to find out that it's
- 44:59Speaker 5: a vagina with a tooth. It's a tumor, but they
- 45:11Speaker 5: think it's non-cancerous. That's because everybody thinks tumors are bad.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I totally want to be on.
- 45:26Speaker 9: Ripley's, believe it or not.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Actually, that's true.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I'm going to have a big hole in my neck.
- 45:35Speaker 5: My plan is to wake up and get home.
- 45:38Speaker 1: I'm going to miss you. He survived.
- 45:41Speaker 5: You know what's funny about that crew is that this
- 45:44Speaker 5: was in 2004, and I was under pretty heavy anesthesia because,
- 45:48Speaker 5: you know, they open up your neck and they take
- 45:49Speaker 5: the thing out and everything was fine. The first face
- 45:52Speaker 5: I see was John Jay's in the emergency room. You're
- 45:55Speaker 5: just hanging out, waiting to see what happens.
- 45:56Speaker 9: Well, that's nice. That's a good friend right there, showing up,
- 45:59Speaker 9: making sure that you're okay.
- 46:00Speaker 1: That's a good friend. Because John Jay's had many injuries,
- 46:02Speaker 1: and I have not been there for him.
- 46:04Speaker 6: You know, the only thing that's different about that tribute
- 46:06Speaker 6: song versus now, when we played that tribute song in 2004,
- 46:08Speaker 6: as is.
- 46:08Speaker 1: 2026, Noah bleeped vagina.
- 46:16Speaker 5: That was a funny line, too. She kept that in there.
- 46:18Speaker 3: I know. I know.
- 46:20Speaker 8: Anyway.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Sorry, we played Minute to Win It. We got Sarah
- 46:23Speaker 1: on the line. Sarah, hello. Hello. What are you doing
- 46:28Speaker 1: this morning, Sarah?
- 46:30Speaker 15: I'm just driving my daughter to school. We've been trying
- 46:33Speaker 15: to play this game for a week or two now,
- 46:36Speaker 15: so we're excited that we got connected.
- 46:38Speaker 6: Before we play, do you want to take a guess
- 46:40Speaker 6: at what Rich's injury is? Meniscus, ACL, PCL, something else?
- 46:45Speaker 3: Um.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Meniscus. Meniscus. Meniscus, okay. All right, we'll write that down.
- 46:50Speaker 1: We'll put you in the, what do you call that?
- 46:52Speaker 3: The hopper?
- 46:52Speaker 1: No, what do you call it when you have a
- 46:53Speaker 1: big pole or whatever? It's our fantasy. It's true. Fantasy football.
- 46:56Speaker 1: All right, let's play. Let's play, Rich. Here we go.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Good luck, Sarah. All right. 60 seconds on the clock, Sarah.
- 47:01Speaker 16: Hi.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Let's get all of these right in 60 seconds, and
- 47:04Speaker 5: you win $ 1, 000.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 47:06Speaker 5: What major ocean lies off the coast of San Diego?
- 47:13Speaker 5: What convenience store chain is famous for its beaver nuggets?
- 47:19Speaker 13: Oh, Buc-ee's?
- 47:22Speaker 5: In what European city would you find the Notre Dame
- 47:25Speaker 5: Cathedral or Notre Dame?
- 47:29Speaker 23: Oh, gosh.
- 47:34Speaker 12: Is it Europe?
- 47:38Speaker 1: I need the city.
- 47:40Speaker 5: Rome?
- 47:40Speaker 2: Rome?
- 47:41Speaker 1: Oh, sorry.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 47:43Speaker 8: I'm not good at that stuff.
- 47:46Speaker 3: I'm not good at G1.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Oh, I know.
- 47:47Speaker 9: It's so tough.
- 47:49Speaker 5: Notre Dame is in Paris.
- 47:51Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 47:52Speaker 1: That's tough.
- 47:53Speaker 8: I wouldn't have got that.
- 47:54Speaker 3: Sorry, Sarah.
- 47:55Speaker 1: You got two in a row there. That wasn't terrible.
- 47:57Speaker 8: Good job.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Well, thanks for playing, Sarah.
- 47:59Speaker 20: Better than some.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Thank you for listening. Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 48:03Speaker 9: You got it.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Have a great day. I kind of want to get
- 48:06Speaker 1: into something that Peyton said. So you were like frazzled
- 48:09Speaker 1: this morning. What was the word you used?
- 48:11Speaker 9: I was disheveled.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Disheveled this morning because?
- 48:14Speaker 10: I was kind of running all over the place trying
- 48:15Speaker 10: to get ready. My meme who my husband and I
- 48:18Speaker 10: live with, she was heading out of town this weekend.
- 48:20Speaker 10: And so I had to make sure that I took
- 48:22Speaker 10: care of the tortoise, make sure that his water was
- 48:25Speaker 10: clean and all of that kind of stuff. And then
- 48:26Speaker 10: also the house cleaners were coming in. So I had
- 48:28Speaker 10: to make sure that everything was situated and ready to go.
- 48:31Speaker 10: And as I was leaving the house, I realized halfway
- 48:33Speaker 10: on my way to work that I didn't.
- 48:34Speaker 8: Have a shirt on.
- 48:36Speaker 1: What?
- 48:37Speaker 8: What did you have on?
- 48:38Speaker 10: I just had my bra, and I literally had my bra,
- 48:40Speaker 10: my jeans, and my flip-flops. I was so disheveled trying
- 48:42Speaker 10: to get out of the house to get to work
- 48:45Speaker 10: that I completely forgot to put a shirt on. And
- 48:46Speaker 10: thank God my car is never clean because I just
- 48:48Speaker 10: looked in the back and pulled one out.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Oh, the thing you're wearing right now?
- 48:52Speaker 10: This has probably been sitting in the back of my
- 48:54Speaker 10: car for probably a year.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But I like how, wait, so you were disheveled.
- 49:00Speaker 6: No, what was the word you said? Disheveled because you
- 49:03Speaker 6: had to take care of the tortoise. I mean, it's
- 49:05Speaker 6: not like a dog. Like, could the tortoise not wait
- 49:08Speaker 6: until he got home?
- 49:09Speaker 10: He could have, but I have some things to do later,
- 49:11Speaker 10: you know?
- 49:12Speaker 9: Like, I got a work thing that I got to
- 49:14Speaker 9: do after, and so I wasn't going to get home.
- 49:15Speaker 9: She's being responsible. I wasn't going to get home until, like, 1.
- 49:17Speaker 8: It's, like, 120 degrees outside. I know she's being responsible.
- 49:20Speaker 6: But I'm just saying, it's like a dog you got
- 49:21Speaker 6: to take out to go pee and potty right away,
- 49:23Speaker 6: or it's going to go in the house.
- 49:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 49:24Speaker 1: The turtle, which I've seen at your house, is in
- 49:26Speaker 1: a giant... Like, what do you call that thing?
- 49:28Speaker 9: He's like in an enclosure. He's in a kiddie pool
- 49:29Speaker 9: right now.
- 49:30Speaker 1: It's not like the turtle's looking at you like, hey,
- 49:31Speaker 1: what gives?
- 49:32Speaker 9: He's small.
- 49:32Speaker 14: Where are you going?
- 49:34Speaker 1: And then I thought, wait a minute.
- 49:35Speaker 6: I was on your Instagram and I saw you were
- 49:36Speaker 6: out last night. You were out partying last night. So yeah,
- 49:39Speaker 6: it's your grandma's fault that you couldn't have done it
- 49:41Speaker 6: last night.
- 49:42Speaker 9: There it is. 100% is totally on her.
- 49:45Speaker 6: I saw a video that you were eating food off
- 49:48Speaker 6: a human.
- 49:49Speaker 9: Oh, that was so insane.
- 49:50Speaker 10: So last night, my little brother and I, we went
- 49:52Speaker 10: to this event called Naughty by Nature.
- 49:54Speaker 9: And it basically was all of these.
- 49:56Speaker 10: Local vendors in Arizona that came together and kind of
- 49:59Speaker 10: showcased all of the cool things that they have going on.
- 50:02Speaker 10: And one of the girls, when you walk in, was
- 50:04Speaker 10: literally like in a bikini. Her legs were crossed and
- 50:06Speaker 10: she had all of these desserts carefully placed on her body.
- 50:10Speaker 10: And you would pick them up and eat them like
- 50:11Speaker 10: they were body shots.
- 50:12Speaker 9: It was like the coolest thing ever. I have tinsel
- 50:14Speaker 9: in my hair. I got tinsel. You can make your
- 50:16Speaker 9: own flower crown.
- 50:18Speaker 10: You know those things that you see online where you
- 50:20Speaker 10: dip your hand into like this like water and it
- 50:22Speaker 10: has like cool paint and you pull your hand out
- 50:25Speaker 10: and now your whole arm is like decked out.
- 50:27Speaker 9: They had that. They had these amazing, awesome drinks. Yeah,
- 50:30Speaker 9: but it washed off in the shower.
- 50:31Speaker 5: That seems really unsanitary. No, they have.
- 50:33Speaker 10: Like a sanitation bucket. That you, like, sanitize with, and
- 50:38Speaker 10: then you go to the other one.
- 50:39Speaker 1: It's so insanely defensive.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Well, because... No, no, no, no.
- 50:42Speaker 8: Where was this?
- 50:43Speaker 1: The food on the person. That's the gross part.
- 50:45Speaker 9: No, it was hot.
- 50:47Speaker 1: No, you can see the... Let's put it on our stories,
- 50:49Speaker 1: because I saw... Where was it?
- 50:50Speaker 9: It was at Champagne House. Right by where your podcast
- 50:53Speaker 9: studio is, actually. Oh, really?
- 50:55Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Oh.
- 50:57Speaker 9: Right over there, in Phoenix. But it was really cool.
- 50:59Speaker 9: They had, like, acrobatic.
- 51:01Speaker 10: bartenders, so they were pouring champagne upside down from the sky.
- 51:05Speaker 8: That's cool.
- 51:06Speaker 1: It was really, really cool.
- 51:07Speaker 8: What time did you get home?
- 51:09Speaker 9: Like 9, 15.
- 51:10Speaker 1: What time did you go to bed?
- 51:12Speaker 9: Like 10, 30.
- 51:13Speaker 1: But you were disheveled because you had to feed the
- 51:15Speaker 1: turtle this morning.
- 51:16Speaker 10: Yes, Jesus was causing me havoc this morning, 100%.
- 51:22Speaker 5: I don't care how delicious that dessert is. I don't
- 51:24Speaker 5: want to eat it off somebody else's body.
- 51:25Speaker 9: Oh, no. She looked good. You would definitely want to
- 51:28Speaker 9: eat the cupcake off of her.
- 51:30Speaker 8: More for everyone else, Rich.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 51:32Speaker 8: Jalen was like my little brother.
- 51:34Speaker 5: He was like super hesitant to go do it.
- 51:35Speaker 1: I'll just go to Costco.
- 51:36Speaker 9: I'm fine.
- 51:37Speaker 1: What did you say also? People thought your little brother
- 51:38Speaker 1: was your boyfriend?
- 51:39Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 9: That was so gross.
- 51:40Speaker 10: Jalen got mistaken as my man multiple times last night.
- 51:43Speaker 10: And I was like, ew.
- 51:44Speaker 9: Like, we look alike. We look alike.
- 51:46Speaker 1: We're 15 months apart.
- 51:47Speaker 6: But if you've never seen you before and you see
- 51:48Speaker 6: you guys walk around holding hands.
- 51:50Speaker 8: We weren't holding hands.
- 51:52Speaker 9: Skipping around.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Eating food off ladies.
- 51:55Speaker 10: They had a caricature guy there and I literally told him,
- 51:57Speaker 10: I said, we are siblings. Don't have us do no
- 52:00Speaker 10: lovey-dovey stuff in your caricature thing.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Did your caricature look like when Ellis gave Alice a
- 52:08Speaker 6: picture of their caricature when they were at that festival.
- 52:10Speaker 1: In Sterling Point?
- 52:11Speaker 3: Yes, it did.
- 52:11Speaker 1: You get it framed and gave it to you?
- 52:13Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 52:15Speaker 6: Anyway, this weekend is Talk Back for Tickets winning weekend.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Imagine Dragons. So Imagine Dragons are coming to the Valley
- 52:20Speaker 6: in the spring to perform on the 16th hole. That's
- 52:23Speaker 6: huge at TPC Scottsdale. So this weekend, we're giving you
- 52:27Speaker 6: a shot of free tickets every hour all weekend long,
- 52:29Speaker 6: starting this morning after 9. So here's how you win.
- 52:32Speaker 6: You download the free iHeartRadio app, and then you've got
- 52:34Speaker 6: to use the Talk Back microphone. That's how you qualify.
- 52:37Speaker 6: It's really simple. Talkback for tickets to Imagine Dragons. It's
- 52:40Speaker 6: all weekend long. And when you use the Talkback, you
- 52:42Speaker 6: can probably say whatever you want. Just, you know, you write, yell.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Say whatever you want.
- 52:45Speaker 6: Make the noise of what you think an Imagine Dragon
- 52:47Speaker 6: sounds like. Are you guys watching Monsters of God at all?
- 52:51Speaker 1: Yes.
- 52:51Speaker 8: I feel like I watched two episodes.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Where?
- 52:54Speaker 9: Can you watch it again?
- 52:55Speaker 1: HBO. It's a top ten show on HBO. Episode four
- 52:58Speaker 1: came out yesterday.
- 52:59Speaker 6: And if you watch the first five minutes of episode one,
- 53:02Speaker 6: it makes me sick to my stomach.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Did you watch that yet with the cobra? I did.
- 53:05Speaker 15: Okay.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 53:06Speaker 6: The first five minutes of episode four is something I
- 53:10Speaker 6: didn't know about, and they show the footage, and Nick,
- 53:12Speaker 6: I wonder if you know about this.
- 53:14Speaker 1: You probably do, because you're a WWE fan. Okay, here
- 53:16Speaker 1: we go.
- 53:16Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a dude, I can't remember his name, but
- 53:19Speaker 6: he gets bit by a cobra. They bring out a
- 53:21Speaker 6: freaking 15-foot cobra out on the stage.
- 53:25Speaker 1: And it bites him. Oh, my gosh. You know who
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'm talking about? Was it Jake the Snake Roberts? Yeah.
- 53:29Speaker 1: But Macho Man Camacho is who he bit.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 53:32Speaker 8: Macho Man Randy Sandwich.
- 53:33Speaker 6: Jake the Snake brings out a freaking cobra and the
- 53:36Speaker 6: place is packed. And then the snake comes out and
- 53:39Speaker 6: attacks him and bites him on the arm. And blood
- 53:41Speaker 6: is everywhere.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:42Speaker 1: It's disgusting. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. And
- 53:44Speaker 1: I think that's where I have a fear of snakes. Yeah,
- 53:46Speaker 1: it has to.
- 53:46Speaker 6: Because they cut to all these kids in the audience
- 53:48Speaker 6: and they're like crying.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I bet.
- 53:50Speaker 6: And me as a 38-year-old man, I was like, I can't.
- 53:53Speaker 6: I went and Googled it and read the whole thing.
- 53:55Speaker 6: And here's what I read. It really happened.
- 53:57Speaker 1: It was true.
- 53:58Speaker 6: They removed the venom sacs from the cobra's neck. So
- 54:02Speaker 6: the cobra had no venom in its sacs.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Okay. I know people have had vasectomies and got people pregnant.
- 54:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 54:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 54:09Speaker 8: You don't know if you got all that venom out.
- 54:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And I'm watching this video and I'm like, who's the
- 54:14Speaker 1: first guy that tested that? I think those are the sacs.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 54:18Speaker 8: This should be just fine.
- 54:19Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 54:20Speaker 6: It's on HBO, and I highly recommend it. But I
- 54:23Speaker 6: don't know if I'd watch it with kids just because
- 54:24Speaker 6: it was terrifying. I didn't want that to be the
- 54:26Speaker 6: last thing I saw last time before I went to
- 54:27Speaker 6: bed because I didn't want nightmares. But anyway, so I
- 54:30Speaker 6: just tied that into Imagine Dragons because they're dragons.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Yeah. There's lots of dragons on that show. You did great. Yeah, thanks, man.
- 54:36Speaker 6: Anyway, we're going to get into I Knew It Was
- 54:39Speaker 6: Over When. We're going to start doing this every Friday
- 54:41Speaker 6: because it's so much fun. We got Diamondback tickets on
- 54:43Speaker 6: the line.
- 54:44Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 54:46Speaker 1: You finished the sentence. I knew it was over. When?
- 54:48Speaker 6: What?
- 54:49Speaker 1: That is next with Jardine Rich. Good morning.
- 54:52Speaker 18: I'm going to start your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 54:54Speaker 25: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter. What's up, guys?
- 54:58Speaker 4: This is Post Malone.
- 54:58Speaker 8: It's Benson Boone, and you're waking up with John Jay
- 55:01Speaker 8: and Rich.
- 55:01Speaker 1: This is great, you guys. Remember a couple weeks ago
- 55:03Speaker 1: we did I Knew It Was Over When?
- 55:04Speaker 2: Oh, sure.
- 55:05Speaker 6: Well, there is a new article from a company called
- 55:09Speaker 6: Talker Research, and they asked people to share with them
- 55:12Speaker 6: the bizarre reasons they ended a relationship, which falls directly
- 55:17Speaker 6: into I Knew It Was Over When.
- 55:20Speaker 1: So, 877-937-1047.
- 55:22Speaker 6: We want to know the moment you knew it was over,
- 55:25Speaker 6: and then I will go over some of these, because
- 55:28Speaker 6: number one is a doozy.
- 55:30Speaker 1: All right?
- 55:31Speaker 6: So, again, these could be little reasons or big reasons.
- 55:34Speaker 6: You just knew it was over. First, we'll say hi
- 55:36Speaker 6: to Brianna, and then I'll go over these. Brianna, you
- 55:38Speaker 6: knew it was over when what?
- 55:40Speaker 12: I knew it was over with my boyfriend when I
- 55:42Speaker 12: accidentally saw a notification pop up on his phone, and
- 55:46Speaker 12: it said, should we tell her?
- 55:47Speaker 17: Oh.
- 55:48Speaker 5: Tell her what?
- 55:48Speaker 8: Tell her what?
- 55:49Speaker 3: I know, right?
- 55:50Speaker 24: Yeah, yeah.
- 55:51Speaker 12: So then I was immediately like, tell me what? And
- 55:55Speaker 12: he grabs his phone and goes.
- 55:57Speaker 6: Oh, nothing.
- 55:57Speaker 12: It's just the guys, which was sus. And I asked
- 56:02Speaker 12: him to show me the conversation, refuses. And then later
- 56:05Speaker 12: that night, I found out he had a group chat
- 56:07Speaker 12: with his friends, literally called Operation Get Him Single.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 56:13Speaker 1: So they're trying to break you guys up?
- 56:16Speaker 7: Yep.
- 56:17Speaker 12: Trying to break us up, convince him to break up
- 56:19Speaker 12: with me for months. and giving him this step-by-step guide.
- 56:23Speaker 12: And the worst part about it is that his friends,
- 56:27Speaker 12: they had a PowerPoint.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Jeez, okay, that's pretty bizarre.
- 56:30Speaker 9: Okay, that's, yeah.
- 56:31Speaker 6: That's bizarre, which, by the way, the article I have
- 56:33Speaker 6: is called Bizarre Reasons for Ending a Relationship, and I'm
- 56:35Speaker 6: returning it into what we normally do, like what I
- 56:38Speaker 6: knew was over when. Like this, for example, bizarre reason
- 56:42Speaker 6: you end a relationship. In this article, this person said
- 56:43Speaker 6: because they didn't like the color.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Red, That's a bizarre reason.
- 56:48Speaker 6: By getting a text message, Shane, we should tell her
- 56:50Speaker 6: and find out that everybody hates you.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Very bizarre. But anyway, thank you, Brianna.
- 56:55Speaker 9: Thanks.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Oh, poor Brianna.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Ryan.
- 56:59Speaker 19: Good morning.
- 57:00Speaker 1: How are you? Hey, you knew it was over when what?
- 57:02Speaker 1: The moment you knew it was over.
- 57:05Speaker 19: I was in the army and I came home a
- 57:07Speaker 19: little late one night and my ex-wife had brought a
- 57:11Speaker 19: friend that she met online down to our home. He
- 57:14Speaker 19: was sitting on my couch and playing my Xbox, eating
- 57:18Speaker 19: the food out of my fridge that I had bought.
- 57:20Speaker 19: I knew it was over then. The next day, I
- 57:22Speaker 19: filed for divorce.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Man, you don't touch another man's Xbox.
- 57:29Speaker 19: I was pretty angry at that time. That was in
- 57:30Speaker 19: 2003 when that happened.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good one, Ryan. That is a good one.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Thanks for calling, man.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Thank you. Take care.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Here, bizarre reason for ending a relationship. They ate pizza
- 57:41Speaker 1: with a fork.
- 57:43Speaker 8: You just never know what's going to get you. They
- 57:46Speaker 8: were like, I don't know.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Cassie, you knew it was over when what?
- 57:50Speaker 15: I knew it was over when I told him, you know,
- 57:53Speaker 15: it's our anniversary is coming up.
- 57:55Speaker 26: Let's plan something.
- 57:56Speaker 16: It's our one year anniversary.
- 57:57Speaker 12: And he goes, I don't really celebrate anniversaries. And I'm like,
- 58:02Speaker 12: our one year, like we got to do something fun
- 58:05Speaker 12: to celebrate.
- 58:06Speaker 9: And he's like, yeah, but you know, I'm like, we.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Know we're together.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Was he Jehovah witness? Cause Jehovah witness zone. Don't do that.
- 58:12Speaker 8: Right. It could be his religion.
- 58:14Speaker 16: He is not.
- 58:15Speaker 12: No, he was just throwing a wet blanket on my excitement.
- 58:19Speaker 20: But then, two days later, I see.
- 58:22Speaker 12: Him posting just a huge Instagram story for his friend's birthday.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Ten pictures, a paragraph, a countdown.
- 58:29Speaker 5: Well, maybe he's excited for other people's stuff but doesn't
- 58:32Speaker 5: want the attention on himself.
- 58:33Speaker 1: But still, wet blanket. I get it, Cass.
- 58:36Speaker 5: He could put the attention on me. That's true.
- 58:39Speaker 12: I'm excited for the anniversary. I'm like, you don't celebrate anniversaries,
- 58:42Speaker 12: but you celebrate friends' birthday for.
- 58:44Speaker 15: Like three days beforehand.
- 58:46Speaker 6: This article is bizarre reasons for ending a relationship. So
- 58:49Speaker 6: we want to know, you know, the moment you knew
- 58:51Speaker 6: it was over. And yours is perfect. But let me
- 58:53Speaker 6: go over some of these with you. What do you
- 58:54Speaker 6: think of this?
- 58:54Speaker 1: This person said, I knew it was over when they
- 58:56Speaker 1: took me on a date to play bingo.
- 59:00Speaker 3: They were out.
- 59:01Speaker 1: I would kind of think that's fun.
- 59:02Speaker 9: I was going to say, it sounds like a good time.
- 59:04Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 59:06Speaker 6: You can judge these people because it is what it is. Like,
- 59:09Speaker 6: I mean, Kyle, didn't you, you dumped somebody, well, no,
- 59:11Speaker 6: your friend, because of the hat.
- 59:13Speaker 9: Oh, no, no, no.
- 59:14Speaker 11: My friend told her boyfriend to wear the hat because
- 59:15Speaker 11: he looked ugly in it and she didn't want other
- 59:17Speaker 11: girls to be attracted to him. But my sister broke
- 59:19Speaker 11: up with someone because she didn't like how he looked
- 59:21Speaker 11: in the cream.
- 59:21Speaker 8: Shirt and he kept wearing the cream shirt.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Which, by the way, is one of my colors. This
- 59:26Speaker 1: person broke up with it. She goes, he would never
- 59:28Speaker 1: eat fresh vegetables, only canned. And she's like, I'm out.
- 59:33Speaker 5: Okay, yeah.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Yes. That would do me too.
- 59:36Speaker 1: They cut their hair. So I ended it. Sometimes bad haircut.
- 59:40Speaker 8: Well, you know, your hair can make a big difference.
- 59:42Speaker 8: Irving Holland cut his hair. He looks like a totally
- 59:43Speaker 8: different person.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right. The soccer player.
- 59:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:46Speaker 6: I didn't like the way they chewed gum. And I
- 59:49Speaker 6: get that. My dad, my dad chewed gum. I wanted
- 59:51Speaker 6: to punch his face out.
- 59:52Speaker 8: My dad chews gum so loud.
- 59:54Speaker 1: So annoying. The number one reason. This is the number one.
- 59:57Speaker 6: Many people have this reason for a bizarre reason for
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: ending a relationship.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Number one. They had weird looking feet. No wonder that
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: article spoke to you, John. Weird looking feet. No wonder
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: that got your attention. Weird looking feet, Cassie. Cassie, thanks
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: for calling in.
- 1:00:16Speaker 16: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Thanks for having me. You got it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: The moment you knew it was over, I knew it
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: was over when. Call us. We might get some Diamondback
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: tickets for you. It's John Jay and Rich. Valerie, tell
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: us what happened. You knew it was over when what?
- 1:00:33Speaker 18: So I knew it was over when another girl called
- 1:00:36Speaker 18: while his Bluetooth was connected to my car.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that was bad. Did he have the conversation?
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: So basically what happened was he asked me to drive
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: him across town at midnight.
- 1:00:50Speaker 17: And I thought that was.
- 1:00:51Speaker 15: Pretty odd because he lived in Saurita.
- 1:00:54Speaker 18: So I figured, why not?
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: I'll take you.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: So the phone rings, and it was another girl, another
- 1:01:02Speaker 13: woman's name calling.
- 1:01:03Speaker 15: And I asked him who it was, and he said.
- 1:01:05Speaker 13: Without missing a beat that it was his tattoo artist.
- 1:01:08Speaker 24: Oh, wow.
- 1:01:09Speaker 18: So why is your tattoo artist calling you at midnight?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: It was definitely a red flag.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: So you knew it was over then.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Thank you, Valerie. Andrew, how about you? You knew it
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: was over when what?
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: When I told my ex-girlfriend that my.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Diagnosis, Oh, you cut out, Andrew. Say it again. Oh, sorry.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You told your ex-girlfriend what?
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: When I told my ex-girlfriend during the time that my
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: diagnosis came in.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Diagnosed with what?
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: So I found out to my doctor that I was
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: diagnosed with autism.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And then what did she say?
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: She basically said, I can't be with someone who's autistic.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: And she basically, like, dumped me, like, right then and there.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: So I was like, oh, I probably should have told her.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:02:07Speaker 10: No, that is so rude because obviously she was still
- 1:02:10Speaker 10: with you and liked you beforehand.
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: Like, that is not cool.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: Well, she should call in and say, I knew it
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: was over when he was diagnosed with autism.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: That would be so terrible, though.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I know it's terrible, but that's what happened.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: All right, thank you.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a really big deal because I wanted
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: to know for years if I was autistic or not.
- 1:02:28Speaker 15: So.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: I took like a bunch of tests with my doctor,
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: and he told me that I had an autistic percentage.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: And I told her about thinking it's not a big deal.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: It explains a lot. But she just said, no, it's over.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: And I was ashamed by that.
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: Well, you are better off without her, quite honestly.
- 1:02:48Speaker 9: That's not cool.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: All right, Andrew. Have a great day.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Sorry, man.
- 1:02:54Speaker 15: Sorry.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Anna, good morning. Anna.
- 1:02:58Speaker 18: Yeah, I knew it was over when he started asking
- 1:03:00Speaker 18: too many questions about his ex-girlfriend.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: To you? Yeah, to me.
- 1:03:05Speaker 13: I ran into her because she came into my store that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 16: I was working at.
- 1:03:08Speaker 13: I was like, hey, I saw your ex-girlfriend today.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: And he's like, what?
- 1:03:12Speaker 18: Why was she there?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: What did she say?
- 1:03:15Speaker 12: Who was she with?
- 1:03:17Speaker 15: Who was she talking to?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: What was she wearing?
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: I was just going to say that.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, oh my goodness.
- 1:03:21Speaker 12: I don't even really know the girl I'm seeing.
- 1:03:24Speaker 18: He looked fantastic.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: But I didn't say hi.
- 1:03:27Speaker 18: I didn't really know her, but he wanted to know everything.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: All right, that's a good one, Anna. Thank you for
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: calling in. Carrie, you knew it was over when what?
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 1:03:38Speaker 26: I knew it was over when I discovered my boyfriend
- 1:03:41Speaker 26: was super gluing his ears back to his head.
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: Why? Why would he do that?
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: That guy.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: That guy. He was probably so into gluing on his ears.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:03:54Speaker 26: I was like, I saw super glue around. It never
- 1:03:57Speaker 26: dawned on me.
- 1:03:58Speaker 24: I guess I never put.
- 1:03:59Speaker 19: My hands behind his ears.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Sure, why would you?
- 1:04:01Speaker 26: But then I'm like, right, why would I?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Exactly. But I was like, oh gosh, no, no.
- 1:04:08Speaker 26: You know, and then you're afraid when you see him normally,
- 1:04:10Speaker 26: like howdy doody pops out.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: Let me ask you this. Were beanies not invented yet?
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: Because that could have been an easier solution for him.
- 1:04:18Speaker 19: No, he wore hats a lot.
- 1:04:20Speaker 26: I noticed that, you know, but just When I discovered
- 1:04:24Speaker 26: that I'm like, oh, and then there's, I started to
- 1:04:27Speaker 26: look and there's all this like dried super glue behind
- 1:04:30Speaker 26: the ears.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: You know, there's a famous, there's a famous actor, a
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: very famous actor. that was so insecure about his ears
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: when he was on a huge TV show and he
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: used to glue his ears back. And then when he
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: got older, he had surgery. He had surgery to pin
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: his ears down. That actor's name is Michael Landon. He
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: was on Little House on the Prairie.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Oh, I know who he is.
- 1:04:52Speaker 10: I've seen a couple people comment on story times on
- 1:04:55Speaker 10: TikTok how their parents will pin their ears back when
- 1:04:58Speaker 10: they were super young. Because I guess it can be
- 1:05:00Speaker 10: a kind of painful surgery.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Or could you just kind of grow your hair out, too?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Can you kind of cover that?
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Carrie, we were giving away Diamondback tickets for the best one.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: You want Diamondback tickets?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: You win.
- 1:05:11Speaker 24: I would love them.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: All right, hold on, because that's a good one. That's
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: exactly what this whole thing is based off of. I
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: knew it was over when I found out he superglued
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: his ears back. Case closed. Case closed.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Kyle, Peyton, what do you guys got coming up in
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: entertainment news besides new music?
- 1:05:24Speaker 11: Okay, Kylie Jenner has addressed the rumors she is pregnant.
- 1:05:28Speaker 11: You'll hear what she has to say next with John
- 1:05:30Speaker 11: Jane Rich.
- 1:05:31Speaker 23: New music Friday.
- 1:05:36Speaker 11: We're going to get to all the new music that's
- 1:05:41Speaker 11: out today and entertainment news.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: What is the new music today, Peyton?
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: Yeah, some new music that we've been playing for you
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: guys this morning. Jonas Brothers, they dropped a new song
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: called Listen When Sad.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Listen what's sad.
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: Actually, it doesn't sound anything like that.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: That's exactly how it sounds. Sounds country to me.
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: No, actually, I think they specifically got back with their, like,
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: one of their original producers so they could sound like
- 1:06:18Speaker 11: original JoBros. Like, they wanted that nostalgic JoBros sound.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: With a little country?
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: It actually, I actually think it sounds a little good
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: Charlotte in there, too. Like, in the middle. Not this
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: specific part, but.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: I think it's awesome.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: The new record is inspired by, like, emo bands.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: I read, like, Good Charlotte and Dashboard Confessional, like, different
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: bands like that.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: And Florida Georgia Line.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: I don't know who's going to country exactly.
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: Alex Warren, Kyle, I know you were so excited for
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: his Wild Child album to drop this morning, but his
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: song Emerald Eyes is the big one.
- 1:06:51Speaker 23: And I.
- 1:06:53Speaker 14: So what's this song about?
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: I believe it's his wife.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Her emerald eyes.
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: I don't know how you listen to words and stuff.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: It's pretty good. I'm like, I really like Alex Warren.
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: So I love Alex Warren.
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: So I'm, I like, There are so many great songs
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: on this album.
- 1:07:22Speaker 9: I'm very excited.
- 1:07:24Speaker 24: I know.
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: I was like, I know all the Alex Warren lovers
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: are definitely coming out of the woods.
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: So yeah, Jonas Brothers, Alex Warren.
- 1:07:29Speaker 10: You can hear both of those songs right here on KISS. Also,
- 1:07:33Speaker 10: Jenny from Blackpink, she dropped an EP with three songs today,
- 1:07:36Speaker 10: and it's called Fallen Angel, and so is this song.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: She sounds like Olivia Rodrigo.
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: I was so shocked.
- 1:07:56Speaker 10: This music video that dropped last night had like 5
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: million views already.
- 1:08:02Speaker 9: I was like, that is crazy.
- 1:08:03Speaker 11: I was like, those Blackpink fans, they show out for sure.
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: Definitely.
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: This song, I was so excited when I saw there
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: was a remix because I'm obsessed with the original version.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: But Young Miami, she dropped a song called Spend That
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: a couple of months ago, and it's gone completely viral.
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: And she just did a remix with Kodak Black and
- 1:08:19Speaker 10: Lil Baby.
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: I love this song so much.
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: It just makes you want to dance in the club.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Do you know what.
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: Else came out today?
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Prince dropped an album today.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: What?
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Timeless.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: This is a collection of 10 previously unreleased recordings from
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: 1977 to 2016. I would think if he didn't want
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: to drop those songs.
- 1:08:52Speaker 11: I was going to say, wasn't he very adamant about
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: stuff like that?
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: Like he did not want to put out songs.
- 1:08:57Speaker 11: That were ever unreleased because he unreleased them for a reason.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: I mean, they're probably awesome. I kind of want to
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: hear them, but I'm sure Prince is not happy about that.
- 1:09:03Speaker 9: I know, I was going to say, he's going to
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: start haunting people.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Also, Mike D from the Beastie Boys, his first solo album.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I like Mike D. Right on. All right, let's get it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: What about entertainment news? What do you got?
- 1:09:12Speaker 11: So Kylie Jenner revealed a couple of, I guess, very
- 1:09:14Speaker 11: personal things about her life on a podcast she did.
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: Remember when everyone freaked out because Kylie Jenner released like
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: her plastic surgeon and the exact method to get the
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: same boobies as she did?
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: Apparently, she's not super happy with them.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: I don't like my boobs.
- 1:09:32Speaker 25: I do want them bigger. I'm like, they need to
- 1:09:35Speaker 25: be bigger and more out there.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: I want my to walk in.
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: Before I do.
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: Isn't that what your husband said to you when you were,
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: he wanted a bigger.
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: He said that exact thing. I want your boobs to
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: walk in the room before you do, babe.
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: There's also been rumors that like Timothee Chalamet has knocked
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: her up, right?
- 1:09:57Speaker 8: Like she's pregnant with her third baby.
- 1:09:59Speaker 11: And that came up on the podcast too. And she
- 1:10:01Speaker 11: addressed it kind of without addressing it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 25: People think I'm pregnant right now.
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: At least I saw some things.
- 1:10:07Speaker 25: And I'm like, well, I'm not going to address everything
- 1:10:09Speaker 25: because it's like I'm going to be in a bikini
- 1:10:11Speaker 25: somewhere or.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: I'm going to be out and the rumors will be squashed.
- 1:10:14Speaker 25: So I kind of just like don't feel the need
- 1:10:16Speaker 25: to say anything ever.
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: I don't know why people think that she's pregnant because
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: I'm pretty sure I saw a picture or a video
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: of Kylie Jenner taking shots on her birthday earlier this month.
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: Well, and that's why that's exactly why she doesn't feel
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: like she needs to tell everyone she's not pregnant.
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: So get over it. Get over it.
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: Jelly Roll is actually filling in for Jimmy Kimmel on
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: Jimmy Kimmel Live. And they had Nathan Fillion from The
- 1:10:36Speaker 11: Rookie on.
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: And we found out that.
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: Apparently Jelly Roll was super close to actually being on
- 1:10:41Speaker 11: that show.
- 1:10:42Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I was so close, they even wrote me a part
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and I blew it. I got sick after a tour.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: You don't know how much it meant to me. I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: was gonna beg you tonight to give me a second chance.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: It's not.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: I know a guy.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Do you have any experience with the police? Oh, yes.
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: I don't know if I'd make a good cop, but
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: I could definitely fill the other side of.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: That street for you.
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: You'd be so good.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: We got Tame Impala tickets. He'll be here. They will
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: be here. They all will be there.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: When?
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: We got your tickets. I don't know when they're coming.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Or when he's coming. Do you know? September 14th. 877-937-1047.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: We're going to play Remember the Time after Halsey. Okay,
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: we're going to play a game. Remember the Time.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Armando.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Good morning. You are our contestant this morning. All right, so...
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Remember the time. Richard, let's play.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: Well, here's what we have for you. We have music, TV, movie,
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: pop culture, all mushified together in a montage. You just
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: got to tell me what year this all happened. Players ready?
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: Let's remember the time. Who are we?
- 1:11:53Speaker 19: We are no one. Our mission is to monitor extraterrestrial
- 1:11:59Speaker 19: activity on Earth.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Whoa, this is amazing.
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: What are those?
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: Those are trees. They used to grow all around here.
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: What I want more than anything is to see a
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: real living tree.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: No, I know this.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: Okay, a couple of bonus clues for you two here.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: Duck Dynasty premiered. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiered. London
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: hosted the Summer Olympics and Apple introduced the iPhone 5. Okay,
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: you go first, Armando. What year do you think that happened?
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: What'd you recognize?
- 1:12:50Speaker 22: Ooh, okay, so I heard a little bit of the
- 1:12:52Speaker 22: Nicki Minaj in there and the... The iPhone 5 really
- 1:12:57Speaker 22: kind of gives it away. I think that's like the
- 1:13:00Speaker 22: first iPhone I had. I'm going to have to go
- 1:13:05Speaker 22: with like 2011, I think. 2011, 2012, but we'll lock
- 1:13:12Speaker 22: it in at 2011.
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: John Jay, your move.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: Out of all the years we played this game, to me,
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: this was the hardest montage I've ever had to guess.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I recognize a song or two. I don't recognize anything else.
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: So because Armando said 2011 and then Peyton nodded yes,
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: I'm going to go 2010.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Okay. Kyle, your move.
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: Okay, I think it was Nicki Minaj, Starships. I feel
- 1:13:38Speaker 11: like I heard the movie The Lorax in there.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: You did.
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: And then Fun and then the whole Duck Dynasty thing.
- 1:13:43Speaker 11: That was on for a long time. I feel like
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: Starships is way newer than The Lorax. So those two
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: really kind of like threw me off. Because Starships, I
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: was like 2015, maybe.
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: And then the Lorax, I was like 2009. I don't know.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Oh, did I have to put these in the same year?
- 1:14:02Speaker 11: Maybe I should flip the difference and say, what would
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: the difference be on that?
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: 2013?
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: That's what I'm going to go with.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Okay, Kyle says 2013.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: Certainly not least, but last, Peyton Whitmore.
- 1:14:16Speaker 9: Yeah, I got the fun, Tonight. That song, that was
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: when like every song had the word tonight in it.
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: And then Nicki Minaj, Starships, which was the Roman's Revenge album,
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: which I just actually listened to. And that was like
- 1:14:27Speaker 10: when I was in the eighth grade, which would have,
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: towards the end of eighth grade. So I'm going 2012.
- 1:14:33Speaker 10: I'm going 2012.
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, you guys got all the clues. The only
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: one you didn't get was the Men in Black 3
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: that kind of kicked off the montage there. But yes,
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: fun in there. Nicki Minaj, the Lorax, the iPhone 3.
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: We do have a winner amongst you four. And this
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: may be the first time that this has ever happened
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: in the history of Remember the Time, but it's Peyton
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: Whitmore with 2012.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Good job. Finally. Oh, sorry, Armando. But you still get
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the tickets.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: You should have gone with the gut.
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: I know, Armando. You totally should have, but good job.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: You still get the tickets, bro. So hold on. Hooray.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: We will set you up. You got it. Hold on. Okay,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: so Rich, you said something earlier off air about storms.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I thought we were done with storms.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: Mm-mm.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Doesn't look like it.
- 1:15:13Speaker 9: There's one tonight.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I'm watching Mia. What? Yeah, tonight and tomorrow. I think Sunday, too.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: All you got to do is check that desert Doppler.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: What?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: It's a desert Doppler.
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: It's like a weather thing.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: What is a desert Doppler?
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: Is it an app?
- 1:15:23Speaker 8: It's like a weather thing. I don't know. I thought
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: that was Scott's nickname.
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: There is no legitimate Doppler that you watch on the
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: Weather Channel.
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: Isn't that what they call it?
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: Weather Doppler?
- 1:15:30Speaker 11: Whenever Scott looks at his weather map, I'm like, are
- 1:15:32Speaker 11: you looking at the desert Doppler?
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: My phone says a little cloudy, high of 111 today,
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: then tomorrow, 106, 102, 97. I don't see anything with
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: rain or storms or anything like that.
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: Oh, mine says severe weather, extreme heat warning, chances of
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: thunderstorms tonight as well.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: So I don't know. Are you on? What are you
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: looking at? Channel 3. Oh, you're watching TV. I'm looking
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: at my phone. What's more reliable, TV or your phone?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I believe our friends at Arizona's family.
- 1:16:01Speaker 23: Yeah.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: First weather alert.
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: They look at the desert top.
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: Other local things happening in the news. Is the Cardinals home?
- 1:16:07Speaker 6: Is it a home game? Is it a away game?
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Preseason? Anyone know?
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: They play at Green Bay tonight.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: Probably there but it's the last it's the last preseason
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: then real football starts after that.
- 1:16:16Speaker 11: Which reminds me i need to get organized and set
- 1:16:20Speaker 11: up fantasy.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: Football leagues guys it's happening.
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: Again did you win money last year yeah we won
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: the whole thing.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: Really what what did you take home for uh cash
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: prize it's three.
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: Hundred dollars.
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: And you just divvy it up between the fam Yeah, sure.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: They don't know, right?
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: Everybody got something out of it. I didn't go buy anything.
- 1:16:44Speaker 11: I think it was spent on groceries, per se.
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:16:47Speaker 8: So, yes, it got divvied up in.
- 1:16:51Speaker 11: The form of hamburgers and snacks for lunches.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: They're all still alive. They all ate.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Kyle was coming up with three things you need to
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: know or four things you need to know.
- 1:16:59Speaker 8: Miss USA just made history.
- 1:17:00Speaker 11: And honestly, I am surprised it took 75 years for
- 1:17:04Speaker 11: this to happen.
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: I'll tell you what it is next with John Jay
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: and Rich.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: Kyle Unfugged with three things we need to know.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 1:17:12Speaker 11: Apparently, the trade fight with Canada and us, America, has
- 1:17:17Speaker 11: now reached the point where we're just.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: Going to rename their lakes.
- 1:17:20Speaker 11: The president signed an order to start calling Lake Ontario
- 1:17:24Speaker 11: Lake America. Canada immediately responded with, no, you're not. So now,
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: us two countries are fighting on that on top of
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: all the tariffs they are already throwing at each other.
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: Silly.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: Things are immature right now.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I have a theory on that, by the way. Okay?
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: So I've been watching on Paramount Plus, Lioness, right, which
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: is a Tyler Sheridan thing, and it's crazy stuff. You know,
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: there's kidnapping Russian spies, and they're kidnapping our spies.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I feel... Whenever Trump does something like this, like I'm
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: going to rename Lake Ontario and it becomes a huge
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: story because there's something else going on.
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: It's a distraction.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: He's got everybody now talking about Lake Ontario. Meanwhile, we're
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: kidnapping Russian spies somewhere.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: That's what I think. That's my two cents.
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: In the meantime, toilet paper is going to get more
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: expensive because of this.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: And I don't like it.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:09Speaker 11: In the meantime, CNN had a pretty embarrassing screw-up while
- 1:18:13Speaker 11: covering Dolly Parton's death. They accidentally put a picture of
- 1:18:17Speaker 11: a Dolly impersonator on TV, thinking it was actually her, saying,
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: this person passed away. And everyone was like, oh my gosh,
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: that's not Dolly Parton. Even the impersonator was like, why
- 1:18:28Speaker 11: would you choose that picture? Like, it's very clearly not
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: Dolly Parton. It's very clearly a Dolly impersonator. And now
- 1:18:34Speaker 11: CNN is apologizing to the family and anyone else.
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: They may have confused or offended anyone. in the process.
- 1:18:40Speaker 11: Now, completely unrelated in the sense of those two things,
- 1:18:42Speaker 11: but definitely related because of Dolly Parton. There is a
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: tropical storm that has started brewing, and you know how
- 1:18:48Speaker 11: they always name the storms. It is Tropical Storm Dolly.
- 1:18:51Speaker 11: It just formed in the Atlantic, and people got so
- 1:18:53Speaker 11: worked up over the name that the National Hurricane Center
- 1:18:57Speaker 11: was like, I just want to remind everyone that this
- 1:19:00Speaker 11: is just a very odd coincidence because the name for
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: this next storm was picked out years ago and has
- 1:19:07Speaker 11: absolutely nothing to do with.
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: Dolly Parton's death. Right, right, right. It's a very, very
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: odd coincidence.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: It's kind of a nice tribute.
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: The thing about CNN, though, with the news anchored or
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: posting the wrong picture, it's like there are hundreds of
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: thousands of photos of Dolly Parton you can pick.
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: So many.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: Like, she's one of the most famous people in the
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: world for the longest time. Why would they pick the
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: wrong vote? Like, who did that?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: And this is CNN. They shouldn't have that screw up.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Unless it was an AI thing. That's probably exactly what
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: it was. Still, still.
- 1:19:33Speaker 8: Either way, a big mistake. And they said, sorry.
- 1:19:37Speaker 11: After more than a month of this trial, Lindsay Clancy's
- 1:19:40Speaker 11: fate is now officially in the hands of the jury.
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: They are back this morning for day two of deliberations.
- 1:19:46Speaker 11: They spent about three and a half hours talking it
- 1:19:48Speaker 11: over yesterday without reaching a verdict.
- 1:19:50Speaker 8: So now everyone's basically just waiting, waiting.
- 1:19:52Speaker 11: For that courtroom notification to see if they've made a
- 1:19:54Speaker 11: decision on what will happen with this mom accused of
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: killing her three kids. Okay, I have no idea how
- 1:20:01Speaker 11: this has never happened before, but for the first.
- 1:20:03Speaker 8: Time ever, Miss USA is a mom.
- 1:20:06Speaker 11: Just as Kelly's 31, married with a kid, and until
- 1:20:09Speaker 11: they changed the rules a few years ago, she literally
- 1:20:11Speaker 11: would never have been allowed to compete, and now she
- 1:20:14Speaker 11: is our Miss USA. She won the whole thing, gets
- 1:20:16Speaker 11: a $ 150, 000 salary, a Range Rover and a luxury apartment
- 1:20:20Speaker 11: in Miami for a year. I don't know why it
- 1:20:22Speaker 11: took 75 years for that, for that to.
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: Happen, but I think that is awesome. And congratulations to
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: justice Kelly. And that's what you need to know.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: All right. So there's a golf is in the news, right?
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: Because of this whole Callaway golf and what's called do good, good, good, good,
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: good golf or something like that.
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:20:40Speaker 11: Good is like the brand that, it's the actual brand.
- 1:20:43Speaker 11: And they teamed up with Callaway to come out with
- 1:20:45Speaker 11: a driver. And in their ad, they have this guy
- 1:20:48Speaker 11: come and like literally push this girl down to the
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: ground and say, don't touch my driver. And everyone's like, wow,
- 1:20:54Speaker 11: that's a little domestic violencey. And now the company is
- 1:20:57Speaker 11: getting canceled. Callaway's stock dropped. Good, good was like a
- 1:21:01Speaker 11: sponsor of a PGA tour. And they said, we don't
- 1:21:03Speaker 11: want you to sponsor us anymore. And all of the
- 1:21:06Speaker 11: websites that sold the good, good stuff, they hold their
- 1:21:09Speaker 11: stuff from their websites.
- 1:21:11Speaker 10: It's, That is, like, next level. Like, I mean, people
- 1:21:14Speaker 10: were enraged about this. I saw, like, every video I
- 1:21:17Speaker 10: was scrolling.
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: It's dumb.
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: Well, you wonder, how did this get through?
- 1:21:20Speaker 14: Yeah, why?
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: Like, how did this get through?
- 1:21:22Speaker 11: Like, who didn't put their foot down and just say, um,
- 1:21:26Speaker 11: I gotta raise my hand here and say this may
- 1:21:28Speaker 11: not be a good look?
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: But also, are you not allowed to make mistakes and
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: say sorry? Callaway is a legendary brand.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I'm not a golfer.
- 1:21:36Speaker 11: Do you want to know the interesting fun fact that
- 1:21:38Speaker 11: I learned this morning? Is that apparently Callaway was in
- 1:21:41Speaker 11: the middle of trying to sell... I don't get the
- 1:21:45Speaker 11: stock market, but apparently there was something with the stocks
- 1:21:48Speaker 11: where some people are now theorizing that this was on
- 1:21:50Speaker 11: purpose because they wanted the stock prices to tank.
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: So that they could sell them.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Because when I watched the video too, when you watch
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the video, you're like, what the hell? But Dylan's got
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: inside scoop.
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: I do.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: I do.
- 1:22:03Speaker 27: So I do have a bestie on the inside at
- 1:22:05Speaker 27: Good Good. And I thought it was rage bait at
- 1:22:09Speaker 27: first too, because that's a tactic that a lot of
- 1:22:11Speaker 27: companies are using. But she kind of explained to me
- 1:22:14Speaker 27: their thought process behind it. And I will say the
- 1:22:16Speaker 27: clip that got clipped, it's... It's bad, but that's the
- 1:22:19Speaker 27: first two seconds of the ad. And so she explained, like,
- 1:22:22Speaker 27: their original concept. And I still feel like they could
- 1:22:25Speaker 27: have done it another way. But it was, like, definitely more...
- 1:22:29Speaker 27: It was different in their heads, I think.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: How different?
- 1:22:32Speaker 11: Well, I kind of get it because I actually saw there's, like,
- 1:22:35Speaker 11: a throwback clip that's circulating the internets.
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: I don't know if it's gotten to your algorithm yet,
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: you guys. But there was a Snickers commercial that featured... Oh,
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: my gosh.
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: What was that?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Betty White.
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: And they're literally tackling her.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: Right, right.
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: And it's like... They're like.
- 1:22:48Speaker 11: snickers praying that nobody sees this ad again right now
- 1:22:51Speaker 11: but i'm guessing they probably were going for something like
- 1:22:53Speaker 11: that because at the time that was kind of a
- 1:22:55Speaker 11: funny ad i.
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: Thought that was a parody of the um obsession.
- 1:22:59Speaker 27: Yes they were trying to kind of parody obsession yeah i've.
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: Seen a ton of articles but okay so your friend
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: is did she get fired.
- 1:23:07Speaker 27: No she didn't get fired but everyone around her kind
- 1:23:09Speaker 27: of did kind of or did This is all very recent,
- 1:23:16Speaker 27: but she also runs some of the social medias. So
- 1:23:19Speaker 27: she's been seeing all the DMs and hate comments and
- 1:23:22Speaker 27: it's gone crazy. I think people are... Taking it very,
- 1:23:26Speaker 27: very far, which I understand the backlash for sure.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Especially if you are a victim or have had any kind.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Of domestic abuse, seeing that video has got to be terrible.
- 1:23:37Speaker 27: Yes, they should have gone about it in a very
- 1:23:40Speaker 27: different way. There's so many creative ideas out there.
- 1:23:42Speaker 9: That's not one of them.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: Also, was Obsession big enough of a movie for them
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: to parody?
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: I mean, it was a big-ass movie, but I don't
- 1:23:50Speaker 10: know if a lot of people, like, had real— I mean,
- 1:23:52Speaker 10: it was big because it was this young 20-year-old director
- 1:23:55Speaker 10: who made a ton of money.
- 1:23:56Speaker 9: It started the indie Navarette girl.
- 1:23:58Speaker 10: And then I just don't think a lot of people
- 1:24:00Speaker 10: have actually watched the movie.
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:24:01Speaker 10: I think a lot of people know about the movie.
- 1:24:02Speaker 9: I don't even know if they watched the movie.
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: But that's what I'm saying.
- 1:24:05Speaker 11: I'm like, it wasn't like Star Wars, and everyone knows
- 1:24:07Speaker 11: it's a Star Wars parody.
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: Yeah, you're not taking somebody down with a lightsaber. You're
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: pushing a girl down.
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: I know all about obsession. Have not seen the movie.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: It made like hundreds of millions of dollars.
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I mean, a lot of people did see the movie.
