- 0:12Speaker 1: Economic Miracle and excellent book, big best seller. And he

- 0:20Speaker 1: news analysis. The Daily Briefing is the best there is.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You can get it. It'll come free to your email
- 0:25Speaker 1: every day. Just sign up for it. Go to Unleash
- 0:27Speaker 1: Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how
- 0:33Speaker 1: you doing him?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Mark? I'm doing pretty well, hoping, hoping that we get
- 0:38Speaker 2: this conflict over with in a victorious way in Iran
- 0:41Speaker 2: so we can get back to three dollars gallon gasoline.
- 0:44Speaker 2: But I'm doing pretty good about I think we're going
- 0:48Speaker 2: to see a change in direction in the economy back
- 0:51Speaker 2: toward the prosperity we had in Trump's first year. And
- 0:56Speaker 2: that just means, you know, we're going to see gas
- 0:58Speaker 2: prices fall again and we'll bring inflation down. So that's
- 1:01Speaker 2: that's my read on things.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Now let me ask you a question. If the
- 1:04Speaker 1: price of oil goes up, Democrats yelling, scream that this
- 1:07Speaker 1: the price of oil going on, worst thing you could
- 1:09Speaker 1: do to people. It's crushing them, it's kicking Yet at
- 1:11Speaker 1: the same time, they have done everything they can to
- 1:14Speaker 1: raise the price of your elected exactly.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Isn't that the truth? So they you know, they want
- 1:20Speaker 2: more taxes on oil. They tried to remember they had
- 1:23Speaker 2: a policy of they want to net zero, so we
- 1:25Speaker 2: would use no oil, gas or coal in this country,
- 1:29Speaker 2: which would have been Can you imagine how much we'd
- 1:31Speaker 2: be paying today for gasoline if they'd eliminated American output
- 1:35Speaker 2: and they have not allowed drill but baby drill, we'd
- 1:37Speaker 2: be paying eight dollars a gallon for gas. So you're right,
- 1:40Speaker 2: there's a hypocrisy on the left. They keep saying, oh,
- 1:43Speaker 2: look at this, Trump's causing un four dollar gallon gasoline
- 1:45Speaker 2: four fifty dollars.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you're.
- 1:47Speaker 2: The ones who want You don't want people to use gas,
- 1:50Speaker 2: You don't want people to use oil. Anybody who thinks
- 1:53Speaker 2: we can we can power this country. You know, with
- 1:57Speaker 2: all the manufacturing we have with steel, the technology sector,
- 2:02Speaker 2: our farms use a lot of injury. We're gonna do that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: We're a thirty trillion dollar economy. We're going to power
- 2:07Speaker 2: all that with windmills.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But the other thing they did, everybody's electric bill was
- 2:11Speaker 1: one hundred bucks a month. Now it's four hundred because
- 2:14Speaker 1: of all their green scheme and regular climate. Yes, so
- 2:17Speaker 1: why don't they bring our electric bill back to one
- 2:19Speaker 1: hundred like it used to be.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and by the way, if there's a good comparison,
- 2:23Speaker 2: if you look at red states that use you know,
- 2:27Speaker 2: you know, coal and oil and gas and nuclear power,
- 2:31Speaker 2: they pay on average half as much for electric power
- 2:34Speaker 2: than New York and California and New Jersey and my
- 2:38Speaker 2: home state of Illinois. By the way, California is an
- 2:40Speaker 2: especially interesting state because that has the highest gas taxes
- 2:44Speaker 2: in the country. They pay like a dollar fifty more
- 2:47Speaker 2: per gallon of gas than every other resident of every
- 2:50Speaker 2: other state. And yet there's no state in the country
- 2:52Speaker 2: that has more oil and gas than California, maybe other
- 2:55Speaker 2: than Texas. So it's not like they don't have it.
- 2:58Speaker 2: They have abundance of resources. They just won't go after it.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to Steve Moore. Hey, this is a
- 3:05Speaker 1: crazy mayor, mom, Donnie, you know, he gets elected, I'll
- 3:07Speaker 1: tax the rich, tax the rich. Tex Well, now that
- 3:10Speaker 1: he's putting together some of these tax plans, they also
- 3:13Speaker 1: seemed to tax the middle class like crazy, how did
- 3:15Speaker 1: that happen?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Well, let's the you know, a joke about the robber
- 3:21Speaker 2: you know, banks, and he said, that's where the money is.
- 3:24Speaker 2: The truth is the money. The money is in the
- 3:27Speaker 2: hands of the middle class. This is the middle class country.
- 3:29Speaker 2: So if you want to if you want to have
- 3:32Speaker 2: a social system, you're going to have to go after
- 3:34Speaker 2: people make between seventy five and two hundred thousand dollars.
- 3:38Speaker 2: And that's where the mass number of Americans are. You know,
- 3:42Speaker 2: there aren't that many billionaires in the country that you
- 3:45Speaker 2: can flee, so that's why they always go after the
- 3:47Speaker 2: middle class.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's just awful, you know. And also he's
- 3:51Speaker 1: talking about lowering the estate tax. You know, you don't
- 3:54Speaker 1: pay any estate tax up to seven million. He's going
- 3:57Speaker 1: to bring that down to seven hundred thousand, so most
- 4:00Speaker 1: families if you want to the killer, yeah, killer. You
- 4:03Speaker 1: know what will happen is people we're already seeing this.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You know, we're seeing millionaires and billionaires moving out of
- 4:08Speaker 1: New York, they're moving out of California, they're moving out
- 4:11Speaker 1: of the highest tax states and you could go to
- 4:14Speaker 1: you in others.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Why would you die in New York. Let's say you
- 4:17Speaker 2: have fifty million dollars, Why would you die in New
- 4:21Speaker 2: York and then pass on, you know, half of that
- 4:24Speaker 2: money to the state and the federal government. When if
- 4:26Speaker 2: you die in Texas, you're not going to pay any
- 4:28Speaker 2: estate tax.
- 4:30Speaker 1: But also seven hundred thousand that's uh, you know, you
- 4:32Speaker 1: wouldn't be able to leave your house to the.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Middle Yeah, exactly, that's that's most middle income people. You know,
- 4:40Speaker 2: my upper middle income people, after you know, forty years
- 4:44Speaker 2: of working have amassed more than seven hundred thousand dollars
- 4:47Speaker 2: in well, I mean that's a house by the way.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I hate Steve Moore. You know, all the all
- 4:52Speaker 1: these New Yorkers are moving to Florida. They're all moving
- 4:54Speaker 1: to Florida. So I noticed that in Palm Beach they
- 4:57Speaker 1: just elected a Democrat to this legislation. Miami just elected
- 5:02Speaker 1: a Democrat mayor. Is this the result of all these
- 5:04Speaker 1: New Yorkers moving there? They' getting these Democrats elected everywhere?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, I think there's just a backlashers, you know, against
- 5:10Speaker 2: Republicans right now. People are angry about prices. The war
- 5:14Speaker 2: is not that popular. But you know Trump, Trump is
- 5:18Speaker 2: is rebuilding the American economy. He's putting America first. We're
- 5:22Speaker 2: doing incredible things on deregulating economy. We're seeing you know, drill, baby, drill,
- 5:28Speaker 2: Thank god, we're doing that's that's we're not By the way,
- 5:32Speaker 2: did you know this? We the United States now, for
- 5:34Speaker 2: the first time in fifty years, we're producing more energy
- 5:38Speaker 2: than we consume. So we're actually a net exporter of
- 5:43Speaker 2: oil and gas. We are also, you may, I don't
- 5:46Speaker 2: know how many of your listeners are aware of this,
- 5:48Speaker 2: because I was surprised when I saw the statistic. The
- 5:50Speaker 2: United States now actually we are a net exporter of
- 5:54Speaker 2: oil and gas. In other words, we produce more and
- 5:56Speaker 2: we're the number one country in production, surpassed Saudi Arabia
- 6:01Speaker 2: and Russia. We are the number one powerhouse and energy.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Wow. So yeah, when it comes to Straits of Horror, Moose,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we don't need any of that oil coming out of there.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's notation.
- 6:10Speaker 2: We need to realize that that. You know, I'm old
- 6:13Speaker 2: enough for remember Mark, You know, when I was a teenager,
- 6:15Speaker 2: young teenager in the seventies and my parents would would
- 6:19Speaker 2: pack pack us up at seven in the morning in
- 6:21Speaker 2: February and we get in the state old station wagon.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I bet a lot of your listeners don't even notice station.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And then we would we would get we would drive
- 6:29Speaker 2: to the little local service station. We'd be ninth in
- 6:31Speaker 2: line to get gas because we had gas lines back then.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And that was because of the Arab you know, the
- 6:36Speaker 2: Iranian Hassis situation. And all we've seen is these flare
- 6:40Speaker 2: ups in the Middle East all the time, and then
- 6:42Speaker 2: we get these big spikes and oil. So what we
- 6:45Speaker 2: need to do is really make sure that we are
- 6:48Speaker 2: no longer dependent on the Middle East for energy because
- 6:52Speaker 2: they're not a reliable source.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, well, this could be over in a few weeks
- 6:56Speaker 1: and then.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I hope so, and what what if, by the way,
- 6:59Speaker 2: once once that happens, by the way, Mark, I guarantee you,
- 7:03Speaker 2: within three or four weeks, we'll be back to the
- 7:05Speaker 2: gas prices which were a record loan wonder Trump when
- 7:08Speaker 2: you adjust for inflation. So Trump had us on an
- 7:11Speaker 2: incredible course because of the disruption in the Middle East.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Prices spike, But I'm hearing to tell you they're going
- 7:16Speaker 2: to come right back down when we get this result.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, Steve Moore, the hotline you put out every day,
- 7:23Speaker 1: they just go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. You can
- 7:26Speaker 1: sign up for it. Yesterday a great story about Fetterman.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You know, the Democrats are so far to the left,
- 7:30Speaker 1: so yeah, but uh huh is Fetterman the guy that
- 7:33Speaker 1: maybe in two years will lead them back to the middle.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Well, you know, Federman is sounding more and more rational,
- 7:41Speaker 2: and he's calling out Democrats saying, just because Donald Trump
- 7:45Speaker 2: wants to do something doesn't mean its evil. I mean,
- 7:48Speaker 2: there's so there's so much Trump derangement syndrome on the
- 7:51Speaker 2: on the left that you know, he's calling out his
- 7:53Speaker 2: Democrats saying, look, we can agree with Trump on some things,
- 7:57Speaker 2: but you know that Charlie uh, Chuckie Schumer and the
- 8:03Speaker 2: Democratic leaders in the House, they're just reflexively against everything
- 8:06Speaker 2: Trump wants to do. And they're the ones, by the way,
- 8:09Speaker 2: that have created these long lines in the airports because
- 8:12Speaker 2: they want to create havoc and mayhem because they think
- 8:15Speaker 2: that hurts Trump. I mean, how cynical is that to
- 8:17Speaker 2: make people wait two hours in line at the airport
- 8:20Speaker 2: so they can score political points.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Yeah, So you're right now. You're a guy that flies
- 8:27Speaker 1: all over the place. Yeah, hopefully you won't have to
- 8:29Speaker 1: go through that this week.
- 8:30Speaker 2: But well, you know, I'm going to may say one
- 8:33Speaker 2: last thing on the way out, Mark, I I because
- 8:36Speaker 2: I do travel a lot. I'm on the road a
- 8:37Speaker 2: couple of days a week, and I'm flying through in
- 8:39Speaker 2: and out of airports all the time. And by the way,
- 8:41Speaker 2: I haven't really confronted too many problems except for one airport.
- 8:45Speaker 2: But when I see the TSA agents, I go up
- 8:47Speaker 2: and I shake their hand and say thank you, thank
- 8:49Speaker 2: you for working. There are a lot of dedicated TSA
- 8:52Speaker 2: agents who are working without a paycheck now for almost
- 8:55Speaker 2: a month. And they're the heroes in here. And the
- 8:57Speaker 2: Democrats in the Congress who want to create the chas
- 9:00Speaker 2: there are the vic there are the villains in this
- 9:02Speaker 2: and there's no reason. By the way, I'm also in
- 9:04Speaker 2: favor of letting you know, ICE agents help out at
- 9:07Speaker 2: the reports. That's reducing lines. But the number cuss against
- 9:09Speaker 2: that too.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Oh hey, I want the ICE stations to go to
- 9:12Speaker 1: motor vehicles next take over that line.
- 9:15Speaker 2: That's a great idea, Mark, I love it.
