Transcript
- 0:01Hello, everyone. Welcome again to Eye Opener Society and welcome again to one
- 0:05of my shorter, quicker podcasts for shorter attention spans,
- 0:09hopefully to develop a few more listeners that are looking for something quick.
- 0:13I wanted to talk to you today about really how we're viewing ourselves in the world.
- 0:20We seem to be programmed to think that we need to be a certain way to match
- 0:28the normal everyday routine.
- 0:30And this is so far from the truth.
- 0:35We have to represent what we are
- 0:39who we are the way we feel and
- 0:43the way we go into society feeling this way to adapt and spread ourselves out
- 0:48to blend in this becomes tricky because there's many situations where we cannot
- 0:54do this and there's always a time and place for everything but i also feel that, you know,
- 0:59we become less and less expressive simply because we feel that for some reason
- 1:07we are going to be denied that space that should be given to us.
- 1:14Now, it's hard to say because, you know, I know we all struggle from this.
- 1:19You know, we want to go out and we want to enjoy the day. We want to do some
- 1:22wild things. We want to be creative.
- 1:25We want to be expressive. you know we just want to you know
- 1:28sometimes just not wear pants but you know
- 1:31once we go out into the world what's really
- 1:35interesting is that we have to
- 1:38adapt into this phony mold that has been created for us and it doesn't really
- 1:44have much purpose uh so we need to find that fine balance Between wearing pants
- 1:51and Going into the world Uh,
- 1:55But we could still do so without being, you know, ridiculed,
- 1:59without being bullied, without being harassed.
- 2:03Yeah, wear pants when necessary and when appropriate. But think that you don't need to wear pants.
- 2:10Simple as that. I always use the pants theory simply because I don't like wearing
- 2:16pants myself. It's just one of those things.
- 2:19It's restricting. It's, you know, tight. And, you know, listen, TMI, maybe.
- 2:24I don't know. but you get what I'm saying we
- 2:27need to express these things and how we want to look
- 2:30you know if I want to wear you know
- 2:33clothing that's outrageous like you know Elton John
- 2:37or something why not I mean wouldn't this make the world much more interesting
- 2:43rather than seeing some very mundane stuff that you see each and every day where
- 2:50everything becomes boring and it brings it down to this lower vibrational frequency.
- 2:55Raise it. Raise it up high. Raise everything up. Be expressive.
- 2:59Be creative. Speak your mind. Do the things that you would like to do and just
- 3:03do it to the point when necessary instead of doing it when it's inappropriate
- 3:09because then things kind of go right back down to that lower level of vibration.
- 3:14Express yourself, people. I enjoy being with you here today.
- 3:18Show your great expression out there, be yourself, and we'll join you again
- 3:23on the next short episode of Eye Opener Society.
