- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables, Baby big girl, it's like, let
- 0:05Speaker 1: me come to you, let me buy you a drink.
- 0:08Speaker 2: That's how it goes.
- 0:09Speaker 3: I swear it's more like, baby girl.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Oh you're talking about that song you do your dance,
- 0:14Speaker 2: let me see you.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Relatable. The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Addie Clark
- 0:31Speaker 3: ak Mummy, and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig
- 0:35Speaker 3: aka Daddy.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yes. And he's Mummy because he just has he just
- 0:42Speaker 1: has love love for everyone.
- 0:44Speaker 3: And Jake is Daddy because he's always here for the baddies,
- 0:48Speaker 3: and you guys are the baddies. I have two things,
- 0:54Speaker 3: maybe three, okay, definitely two dos.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Two things to start the episode.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Number one foster dog Hallie Yeah, is in studio, run
- 1:02Speaker 1: in front of us.
- 1:03Speaker 3: We got a crowd.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm not gonna bother her, but.
- 1:05Speaker 1: If she comes over, I may bring her up on
- 1:07Speaker 1: my lap so you may get to see her if
- 1:08Speaker 1: you're watching the video.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Number two, Oddie, I had a morning.
- 1:12Speaker 1: A morning, okay, so I about a year ago, maybe longer.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Actually no, who cares about.
- 1:23Speaker 2: A year ago? Right?
- 1:24Speaker 1: I remember I was driving my car and I still
- 1:28Speaker 1: lived here. Driving out, I pull out of my driveway
- 1:31Speaker 1: and I start hearing a sound. And the best way
- 1:35Speaker 1: I could describe it is it sounded like if you
- 1:38Speaker 1: had a metal cylinder and then a flat piece of
- 1:42Speaker 1: metal and you rolled the metal cylinder and the flat
- 1:47Speaker 1: piece of metal was resting on the cylinder. Can you
- 1:49Speaker 1: like kind of picture that noise? Yeah, And so like
- 1:54Speaker 1: the consistency of the wheel spinning is like, so my
- 1:57Speaker 1: car made that noise.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Kind of like there's no brake pad.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It's kind of sounded like that. Okay, right, there's really
- 2:04Speaker 2: weird consistent sound. And then I hit a bump.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Can you just describe to people what car you have?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I have a hyonda gets and what does that look like?
- 2:13Speaker 3: So it's considered a hat. Two doors technically three.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Including the boot door the trunk door, and the only
- 2:26Speaker 2: way I can describe it is small.
- 2:28Speaker 3: It's like a go kardad.
- 2:29Speaker 1: It's like it's like a go cart. And so I
- 2:32Speaker 1: heard this noise and I was like, fuck, what is that?
- 2:34Speaker 1: I remember pulling over, I go slow. The sound is
- 2:38Speaker 1: like there, but it's slower, so it depends on how
- 2:40Speaker 1: fast I'm going. I hit a bump and it's like
- 2:43Speaker 1: something flipped noise is gone.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I thought, oh wow, beautiful dub. I'll ignore that.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And then it happened two more times, and I was like,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I think by one of the times, I was like, oh,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm going to the mechanic very soon, like I'm sure
- 3:00Speaker 1: he will notice if something is out of whack, and
- 3:04Speaker 1: so I didn't do anything about it. It's been to
- 3:06Speaker 1: the mechanic multiple times.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Nothing always says everything's great.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Okay, this morning, I get two minutes away from my house.
- 3:17Speaker 2: All right, I need you to put your headphones on.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Okay, did you record the sound, oddie?
- 3:24Speaker 1: I need you to listen now. I recorded this purely
- 3:29Speaker 1: to tell mechanic because I didn't record this thinking I
- 3:32Speaker 1: would bring this to the podcast. And I thought I
- 3:34Speaker 1: might bring this to the podcast and tell right, this
- 3:38Speaker 1: is what it sounded like this morning. Okay, I'm ready,
- 3:42Speaker 1: headphone more.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Why sounds like a train stopping.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So that is ten times worse than last year's sound.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Wait a second, So your car's making that sound and
- 3:58Speaker 3: then you proceed to drive an hour and a half
- 4:00Speaker 3: from Sydney to the center. Okay, way, way, way way.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So I as soon as it started happening, and then
- 4:07Speaker 3: you hear a cookook and it goes away.
- 4:08Speaker 1: As soon as I started happening, I pull over and
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm only on like two three minutes from my house,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and so I was like, damn it. I was like,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I was like, that's way, way worse than it's ever been.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So I thought, I think I might actually have to
- 4:23Speaker 1: really do something about this.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And so I was talked.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I went forward like five meters still sounded there, and
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was like okay.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I checked.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Beth had already left for work, and I was like,
- 4:35Speaker 1: oh shit, so her car is not an option. I've
- 4:37Speaker 1: got Hallie. I can't really take a train. And I
- 4:41Speaker 1: was like, okay, I'm gonna have to go home and
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to call Audie and just like explain
- 4:44Speaker 1: the situation. And so I'm on a main road, I turn,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I go to I pull my blinker on to turn
- 4:51Speaker 1: and cross the road and go into a driveway turn around,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and so i'd fully swivel to make the turn, waiting
- 4:56Speaker 1: for a little gap in the traffic.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I go ortometer.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It doesn't make the noise, and.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I was like okay, So instead of turning around straight away,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I was like, I'll just pull out. I'll go straight
- 5:09Speaker 1: for a bit and turn around if I need to.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I pull out and the noise is gone. Oh and
- 5:13Speaker 1: so I was thinking, okay, I said, what I'll do
- 5:16Speaker 1: is I'll give myself.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Until the freeway.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And if it doesn't come back, I should be fine.
- 5:22Speaker 3: So I drove all the way here, dude, I mean,
- 5:25Speaker 3: I'm here. No more sound, no sound, bro. I want
- 5:29Speaker 3: to start a petition right now. How much wrecking your
- 5:32Speaker 3: car is worth?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Like not.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Two K.
- 5:36Speaker 1: According to the government six but like actually, oh yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you wouldn't want to pay more than like two three
- 5:42Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 5:43Speaker 3: For two three thousand dollars, okay, this is a petition
- 5:46Speaker 3: to sell your car and get something that's more safe,
- 5:48Speaker 3: a just even spend, like we got some money in
- 5:50Speaker 3: the business, like eight K. Get like a nice little
- 5:53Speaker 3: like I don't know, what's a Toyota Yaris something yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:57Speaker 3: just like a twenty twelve model, like something that look
- 6:00Speaker 3: one hundred thousand k's good brand. Here's a petition right now.
- 6:05Speaker 3: If someone says I reckon, If there's thirty comments of
- 6:07Speaker 3: Jake saying get a new car, we'll get in one
- 6:12Speaker 3: the axle comes off your car mid freeway. Look, there's
- 6:15Speaker 3: a drive shaft that sounds like the drive shaft.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I don't know what that was, and it hasn't happened again.
- 6:23Speaker 3: It's like, it's just like when you got a problem
- 6:25Speaker 3: with your car and you just turn the music up here,
- 6:27Speaker 3: that's right. Wait that you could not turn the music
- 6:29Speaker 3: off for that it was loud.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So so basically, yeah, I've gasloped myself. And I said, like,
- 6:36Speaker 1: so if I get here and it's sweet, and I
- 6:38Speaker 1: get home and it's sweet, I will not drive it
- 6:40Speaker 1: on Wednesday. I'm either going to take BET's car if
- 6:43Speaker 1: it's if it's available, or I will just public transport
- 6:48Speaker 1: it for a day. And I do actually think I'm
- 6:52Speaker 1: coming to terms with the fact that I need.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I think it's not a want.
- 6:57Speaker 3: It's a knee It's almost a scrap yard type car. Yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 3: oh yeah it is. Yeah, Like I would only keep
- 7:02Speaker 3: it to wrap it. Yeah, I kind of want to
- 7:05Speaker 3: keep it for the business, keep it, wrap it relatable,
- 7:07Speaker 3: keep it. We could keep it here, Yeah, I see
- 7:10Speaker 3: no reason why not. Yeah, there's the petition. If Jake
- 7:14Speaker 3: gets thirty comments on this episode episode saying sell the
- 7:17Speaker 3: car only third or wrap the car okay, thirty on
- 7:20Speaker 3: Spotify and thirty on YouTube. So sixty Jake will buy
- 7:23Speaker 3: a new car and we get to wrap his little gets.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Here's my question, right, is it worth getting another kind
- 7:33Speaker 1: of shitty car?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Or do I? The only thing is if I.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Wanted to get a brand new car, I would have
- 7:41Speaker 1: to have a loan, and I don't want that to
- 7:44Speaker 1: affect our chances of getting a house.
- 7:47Speaker 3: That's what open our circumstances get Like, yeah, ten thousand
- 7:50Speaker 3: eight to ten thousand other one, that's still a nice car.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It will still be totally fine. Let's be real, because
- 7:55Speaker 2: last week I hate my new car.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Five years Yeah, I feel like you didn't your personal
- 8:00Speaker 3: owner now he's not having a nice car.
- 8:01Speaker 1: My mindset with the car I have now was a
- 8:06Speaker 1: that was supposed to be like a half a year.
- 8:09Speaker 3: How long has it been, dude?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Nearly five?
- 8:13Speaker 3: Mate, that's been a good run.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I had a great run. Losses had a great run.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Damn it.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, look up some stuff you can get
- 8:22Speaker 3: something cool? Yeah, yeah, go to a four door.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Anybody selling the car everybody.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I was so upset when it happened to because I
- 8:29Speaker 1: was like, damn it, Like so I was like, oh,
- 8:32Speaker 1: he's right, and not even I reckon. Three days ago
- 8:37Speaker 1: Beth said to me, she said, Jake, you need a
- 8:39Speaker 1: new car, so you genuinely you do.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And I was like yeah, yeah, yeah, I said, like
- 8:44Speaker 3: two weeks ago you said to me all the time
- 8:46Speaker 3: planning to move to Queensland. I was like, Jack, and
- 8:48Speaker 3: you should probably sell it to drive eight hours to Queensland.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You always tell me and said it like yeah, yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I just can't bring mysel right off. My friend can't
- 9:00Speaker 2: bring myself to let go over it.
- 9:01Speaker 3: That's why we can keep it, keep it in the business.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Live on. Yeah, Live long and prosper. We'll get it
- 9:07Speaker 3: shiped up the Queens Live Long and Prosper is the
- 9:12Speaker 3: Star Trek reference right there. Well, okay, I.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Will do some car hunting. Let's I'll do some car
- 9:21Speaker 1: hunting and I'll come with some options next week.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Give me options.
- 9:26Speaker 3: You want three options? Yeah?
- 9:27Speaker 2: All right, okay, yeah, I like that.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You do. You do two and I bring a curveball three.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna bring something cool and I want it.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Give me the same price range and I'll bring something
- 9:40Speaker 3: for the people about that. You bring two, I'll bring one.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Tell me the price range, and I'll get you something.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Everyone knows I'm a warrior. Actually, can you get it
- 9:48Speaker 3: for me?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Because you're you're you're good at lowborne if it's on marketplace.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So that's the two things. My third thing was I
- 9:58Speaker 1: remembered because I could feel it. We just went to
- 10:01Speaker 1: the gym, and so I changed my whole outfit and
- 10:04Speaker 1: i've I haven't changed back in the same socks.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I was wearing. So I'm wearing jeans with short socks.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Oh ikey, that's so ell. And the reason I remember
- 10:14Speaker 3: it is because I felt the breeze on my ankles,
- 10:18Speaker 3: like there's a breeze in here talking about Oh. I
- 10:21Speaker 3: wanted to bring up one thing to start actually all right,
- 10:24Speaker 3: and it was going up a trend on TikTok or
- 10:27Speaker 3: the radio. But more so, have you seen the new
- 10:30Speaker 3: Vogue article that's going viral? I have seen this is
- 10:33Speaker 3: having a boyfriend embarrassing now, and I wanted to talk
- 10:37Speaker 3: about it. It's a good question, what do you reckon?
- 10:41Speaker 2: Here's the thing, here's what I think. I think. If
- 10:45Speaker 2: the question is having a boyfriend embarrassing is a question
- 10:49Speaker 2: that even exists, then men have failed very bad at something.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Men have done so badly to even have this be
- 10:58Speaker 3: a question, is what you're saying. It's but also, we're
- 11:02Speaker 3: boyfriends of relationships. Is it embarrassing to be our counterpart?
- 11:07Speaker 2: See would? I don't think Best's embarrassed by me, and
- 11:10Speaker 2: I wouldn't say Cassie's embarrassed by you?
- 11:12Speaker 3: No, But who are embarrassed by their boyfriends? The people
- 11:16Speaker 3: in relationships who aren't being treated correctly?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Man, I don't know.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It just worries me that the question being asked is
- 11:24Speaker 1: even like a valid question.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Well, I think it even stated like it's cooler to
- 11:32Speaker 3: be single and do your own thing and be a
- 11:35Speaker 3: boss as bitch than it is to try and get
- 11:39Speaker 3: in a relationship, because ten twenty years ago everyone used
- 11:42Speaker 3: to want that relationship, go home to cuddles, But men
- 11:47Speaker 3: aren't being that person that you want to come home
- 11:49Speaker 3: to anymore.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, shit, I was. I saw this thing actually yesterday,
- 11:56Speaker 2: and I think.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It was It wasn't the exact guy, you know how
- 11:59Speaker 1: there's that guy on the subway that says, like, what's
- 12:01Speaker 1: your hot take? Like subway takes. It was a different guy.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It was in like Central Park or something, and he
- 12:06Speaker 1: asked a girl you know what's your hot take, and
- 12:10Speaker 1: it was something that we've done. It was that you're
- 12:13Speaker 1: a great man is an average woman. And the way
- 12:15Speaker 1: she explained it was really good. She said, we men
- 12:20Speaker 1: that have empathy, understanding, listen to your problems, clean their house.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I don't know, do like you know, have an emotional conversation,
- 12:31Speaker 1: have support you. All these things. They get put on
- 12:34Speaker 1: this massive pedestal. But for a woman, just her like,
- 12:41Speaker 1: not even her best friend, just one of her friends,
- 12:44Speaker 1: is literally that. So why do they then need a man?
- 12:50Speaker 2: Is the question? Because you know, it's not the olden
- 12:53Speaker 2: days anymore, like everyone's fucking even though it's it's still
- 12:59Speaker 2: a like equality is still a huge issue. But you
- 13:02Speaker 2: know women are out there being CEOs and running businesses
- 13:07Speaker 2: and having good, high paying jobs and stuff like. They
- 13:10Speaker 2: don't need men anymore, no, like, So it was a
- 13:16Speaker 2: good point. It's a good question. Is having a boyfriend
- 13:18Speaker 2: fucking embarrassing?
- 13:19Speaker 3: I think it's a good question and kind of the
- 13:23Speaker 3: shift in mindset as well, because if you do have
- 13:28Speaker 3: that mindset, it kind of goes back to how we
- 13:29Speaker 3: say on the podcast, relationships.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Come when you least expect it. Yeah, and if girls are.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Doing the things they want to do, being whoever they
- 13:38Speaker 3: want to be, and not even thinking about it. They
- 13:40Speaker 3: will track the men who aren't in that category. Yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 3: so I think it is that it's interesting to see
- 13:45Speaker 3: that shift. And like you said, it used to be
- 13:47Speaker 3: always like they provide, they do all that. Yeah, now
- 13:50Speaker 3: don't do anything.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Men used to have this stupid reason to this
- 13:56Speaker 1: like stupid argument as to why they, I don't know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: weren't intact.
- 14:02Speaker 2: In the emotional areas of life.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I don't know if that's like the perfectly correct thing
- 14:06Speaker 1: way to say it, but they used to have this, yeah,
- 14:09Speaker 1: super good reason of being the owner, being the bread winner.
- 14:12Speaker 3: But I think it's too many scapegoats for men. Yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 3: we can just call them excuses to not be emotional
- 14:19Speaker 3: or to not be there for their partner because they
- 14:21Speaker 3: do all these other things that aren't even anything. I
- 14:24Speaker 3: don't know.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Do men just fucking suck or is it some men
- 14:28Speaker 1: that fucking suck? I don't actually know.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hard too, because there definitely are good men
- 14:35Speaker 3: out there, yeah, one hundred percent. But there's no way
- 14:43Speaker 3: or there's no where to see that as someone who
- 14:46Speaker 3: isn't in the relationship with them, whereas I don't want
- 14:50Speaker 3: to say, like, uh, I'm trying to give them like
- 14:52Speaker 3: there are good men. I don't know what I'm trying to.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It's hard, No, I know you're trying to say you
- 14:55Speaker 1: like you're not trying to be that person that says, like,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you know, but there is still good out there, like
- 15:00Speaker 1: trying to argue it like you don't want to be
- 15:02Speaker 1: that person, but.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Also the kind of do because you want to give
- 15:05Speaker 3: people hope.
- 15:06Speaker 2: True, you want to get people hope.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's like people know that there's good men out there,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you know, like people do know that, like they're not dumb,
- 15:13Speaker 1: obviously there is fucking good men out there.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But and like by no means, I don't think you're
- 15:17Speaker 2: trying to.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Like give the bad men an excuse by saying there
- 15:21Speaker 1: is some good men out there. But I know what
- 15:24Speaker 1: you're trying to say. It's hard to get it across
- 15:27Speaker 1: where it's almost like hmmm, because the argument of so
- 15:35Speaker 1: let's say, like we could break it down kind of
- 15:37Speaker 1: dumb for us, Like I feel like we need a
- 15:38Speaker 1: man's plain to ourselves. So you know how people hate cops.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Some cops are dicks, right, they abuse the power and
- 15:50Speaker 1: so you could argue like, it's not all cops though,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you know, but you could say, okay, cool, No, it's
- 15:56Speaker 1: definitely not all cops. Some cops are probably great, but
- 16:00Speaker 1: it is some cops, so there is a problem. Just
- 16:04Speaker 1: because it's not all cops doesn't mean there's a problem.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's like how when people say it's not all men,
- 16:10Speaker 1: they're trying to say it's almost like they're trying to
- 16:13Speaker 1: give an excuse for all men because there's some men
- 16:18Speaker 1: that are good. But it's like, obviously there's some men
- 16:21Speaker 1: that are good, but there is a huge problem with men,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and it's a men's problem.
- 16:28Speaker 3: And how do you fix the problem when women are
- 16:31Speaker 3: so vocal about it but there's still no action being
- 16:35Speaker 3: taken by men. Or where I was going with it
- 16:37Speaker 3: is you don't see the action by the good men
- 16:39Speaker 3: because it's so niche, so minuscure.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Maybe I was actually listening to an episode of
- 16:45Speaker 1: Abby Chatfield's podcast where she had this doctor on and
- 16:49Speaker 1: his name is doctor Vincent Hurley, and.
- 16:52Speaker 2: So he actually is a.
- 16:55Speaker 1: He's very in the he used to be a cop,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and he very in the violence against women, right like
- 17:04Speaker 1: men's violence against women, And she was talking to him,
- 17:07Speaker 1: and she said that when she told a friend of
- 17:09Speaker 1: hers who has a podcast and it's two men I
- 17:12Speaker 1: believe in the podcast, they were like, oh, who do
- 17:14Speaker 1: think we should have a podcast? And she said, oh, well,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm having Doctor Vincent early on, and I think he
- 17:20Speaker 1: would be great. You know, he talks about like Valance scains,
- 17:22Speaker 1: women and stuff. It's great, it's great cause and the
- 17:25Speaker 1: guy that hosts the podcast goes, oh, like yes, one
- 17:28Speaker 1: hundred percent. But I don't know how it would come
- 17:31Speaker 1: across as three white men talking about that. And she
- 17:35Speaker 1: was like, why, it's a men's issue. And so I
- 17:37Speaker 1: think all men, good ones included, so like you and me,
- 17:45Speaker 1: excepting that it's embarrassing to have a boyfriend, you know,
- 17:49Speaker 1: violence against women, all these things, like everything, excepting that
- 17:52Speaker 1: it's a men's issue, and the good men start talking
- 17:56Speaker 1: about it is probably the best way to at least
- 17:59Speaker 1: have younger generation have someone better to look up to.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Okay, So it's got to come from the people who
- 18:06Speaker 3: are already doing it.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I think so.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And I think it's going to come from the people
- 18:10Speaker 1: that so like, there's plenty of good men out there
- 18:15Speaker 1: that would so like the Actually, I reckon so the
- 18:20Speaker 1: men that say it's not all men are probably the
- 18:22Speaker 1: men that are good, but they feel kind of attacked
- 18:26Speaker 1: by a woman saying something bad that men do and
- 18:30Speaker 1: grouping men into one. And so the guy that goes
- 18:33Speaker 1: it's not all men, he feels attacked because he feels
- 18:36Speaker 1: as though he is a good man.
- 18:37Speaker 2: But he shouldn't feel attacked.
- 18:39Speaker 3: What's as simple as leading by example, I think so, Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 3: talking about the issue, Yeah, raising awareness about it. Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 3: even when in quotes you're not part of the problem,
- 18:51Speaker 3: even though you are, well.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yeah, a massive part of the problem. You're part of
- 18:54Speaker 1: the solution. You're part of the solution, is correct. And
- 18:56Speaker 1: one thing that Beth actually taught me, this massive part
- 19:00Speaker 1: of the problem is the fact that the good men
- 19:05Speaker 1: don't talk about it.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Like.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It's hard. I will admit it's hard for me to accept.
- 19:10Speaker 1: The fact that as what I believe myself and you
- 19:14Speaker 1: to be two good men being part of the problem,
- 19:18Speaker 1: where you know, Vogue brings up all violence against women
- 19:21Speaker 1: and stuff, being like a massive part of the problem
- 19:23Speaker 1: is the fact that admittedly we're a bit we're afraid
- 19:26Speaker 1: to speak about it, you know, like and the fact
- 19:30Speaker 1: that we're afraid to speak about it is. It's a
- 19:32Speaker 1: huge part of the problem. So I guess all we
- 19:34Speaker 1: have to do is fucking talk about it. Like but again,
- 19:37Speaker 1: it's like we're like, okay, yeah, what do we talk.
- 19:39Speaker 3: About thinking about us and making a difference? Though, how
- 19:44Speaker 3: do we do it in a way of we're two men, right,
- 19:46Speaker 3: but we have a ninety percent female audience. As much
- 19:50Speaker 3: as it's good to talk about it, but we're going
- 19:52Speaker 3: the men need to hear women know about it.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I mean, I guess ten yea better than zero.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Maybe we should have doctor Vincent early on. We don't
- 20:01Speaker 1: do guests really, but he'd be a good one to
- 20:03Speaker 1: have on. It was an interesting conversation.
- 20:05Speaker 3: He's interesting.
- 20:06Speaker 2: This guy is passionate. I've never seen he's passionate. He's
- 20:10Speaker 2: fucking he was pretty. He was like a cop in
- 20:13Speaker 2: the eighties or something. He was like, dude, I've seen
- 20:15Speaker 2: some ship. Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But I mean back to the topic of is having
- 20:19Speaker 1: a boyfriend embarrassing? I want to know probably from our
- 20:24Speaker 1: women audience. Comment comment fun commenting about my car.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Batties Week three, Week three, Week three of things that
- 20:43Speaker 4: aren't just for boys, Number one.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Being the funny one big, the funny one. Don't take
- 20:51Speaker 2: that away from us.
- 20:52Speaker 3: But I mean, I got to agree, as much as
- 20:54Speaker 3: I hate to admit it, hands up true, very true.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I will also admit the best compliment I would prefer
- 21:03Speaker 1: a your I would prefer like your decent looking, but
- 21:10Speaker 1: fuck you're funny.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I would prefer that. Then just you're handsome but boring.
- 21:17Speaker 2: So please don't take it away from now. I'm just kidding.
- 21:21Speaker 3: And they have such a different sense of humor too. Yes,
- 21:23Speaker 3: I feel like, if anything, it kind of compliments each other,
- 21:27Speaker 3: dynamic between Yeah, I'm male and female.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I think I'm trying not too past relationships and current,
- 21:36Speaker 1: like I find the girlfriends I've had, even though one
- 21:40Speaker 1: of them was kinda ended badly, second one, third one
- 21:45Speaker 1: is current. Each one, I feel like it's quite funny.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I feel you shouldn't say it like that.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's current, like it's gonna end.
- 21:55Speaker 1: But no, see, I think Beth is hands down one
- 21:56Speaker 1: of the first people I know because we will just
- 21:58Speaker 1: like lay in bed and watch videos and chuckle.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you know anyway, all right.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Things and I'm just for boys. You're gonna hate this
- 22:08Speaker 1: low balling people on marketplace.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Ah, that's my thing though.
- 22:11Speaker 3: That's all his favorite pastime, right. I actually personally not
- 22:17Speaker 3: the biggest fan. Girls have caught on to it, you know.
- 22:19Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Beth does it. Yeah, and she does it well. She
- 22:24Speaker 2: hits them with a classic I'll pick it up now
- 22:26Speaker 2: and like offer a hundred bucks. Yeah, I'll pick it
- 22:28Speaker 2: up now for the tricks.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, now cash offer cash as well. I sold
- 22:34Speaker 3: something on marketplace other day. Dude rocked up and he's like, oh,
- 22:38Speaker 3: I forgot to get cash out and the transfer me
- 22:41Speaker 3: in front of me. It was the awkwardest thing, putting my
- 22:42Speaker 3: bank details in and chair.
- 22:43Speaker 2: It's too much time. Yeah, with a random He was
- 22:46Speaker 2: in my house and I was like, what are you doing?
- 22:48Speaker 3: Dude?
- 22:48Speaker 2: Did I tell you what happened to the other day? No,
- 22:50Speaker 2: Beath and I picked up outdoor chairs, right, bargain two
- 22:53Speaker 2: hundred bucks. Hundred bucks a chair.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 1: We pull into the apartment, get into their parking space,
- 22:57Speaker 1: all right, pull out. There's a guy that meets us.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Girlfriend's waiting at their car. We stop, I get out.
- 23:02Speaker 1: She goes you that guy from Instagram. I said, don't
- 23:04Speaker 1: do that to me. I'm podcaster, all right. Things that
- 23:11Speaker 1: aren't just for boys, energy.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Drinks, energy drinks.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Explain, mate, think about it. Most energy drinks branded for men.
- 23:20Speaker 2: It's all balls and monsters.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Oh that's actually so true, right, That's why Marissa created
- 23:26Speaker 1: Perfect Ted Healthy Energy drinks.
- 23:28Speaker 2: They weren't even made with us guys in mind. And
- 23:30Speaker 2: they slap.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Let me see perfect Ted Healthy Energy powered by Marcher
- 23:37Speaker 3: all natural ingredients.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, this looks legit, mate, They're good. That one apple
- 23:42Speaker 2: raspberry pretty damn good. Juicy peach? Oh my god, say less,
- 23:47Speaker 2: Where do I get it? Coles?
- 23:48Speaker 3: Just cals, get stocked up, bro, I'm going to add
- 23:57Speaker 3: He's up next is the lemmas. If you want to
- 23:59Speaker 3: get your dilema I read it is link in the
- 24:01Speaker 3: description or link in bio on Instagram. Scroll at the
- 24:04Speaker 3: bottom says dilemmas. But Jake, I fucked up almost. I
- 24:10Speaker 3: reckon this would have been the worst fuck up. We've
- 24:13Speaker 3: stuffed up a few times upon the three years of
- 24:16Speaker 3: doing this, but I reckon this would have been the
- 24:18Speaker 3: worst fuck up of all time. What So, to me,
- 24:22Speaker 3: the worst fuck up is like, I hate it, hate it,
- 24:25Speaker 3: hate it when we accidentally click record on something.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Also when we accidentally don't click record on something.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Now, I reckon, this is worse. So this document that
- 24:33Speaker 3: I just talked about, the Dilemma's document, is three years
- 24:36Speaker 3: old pretty much. So my emails started to bounce the
- 24:40Speaker 3: other day because I ran our space of the fifteen
- 24:44Speaker 3: gigs and I was like, what the fuck do I
- 24:47Speaker 3: have fifteen gigs being used up on Google Drive because
- 24:51Speaker 3: we use dropbox for the podcast. So I went on
- 24:53Speaker 3: my drive and I'm like, let's just fucking delete everything.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I haven't been on here in years. And then I
- 24:57Speaker 3: go on there and delete everything. And then when I
- 24:59Speaker 3: was scheduling the episode that came out and went to
- 25:02Speaker 3: go do dilemmas and I'm like, I go on my
- 25:04Speaker 3: Google forms and I'm.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Like, where the fuck is it?
- 25:08Speaker 3: And I'm like, where the fuck is dilemmas? And this
- 25:11Speaker 3: is this has over three thousand, five hundred dilemmas on it,
- 25:14Speaker 3: and I'm like, where where the fuck is this? And
- 25:16Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, no, I deleted I forgot. They're all connected.
- 25:20Speaker 3: That's also this dilemmas Patreon dilemmas sign off the episode
- 25:25Speaker 3: and there was one more yeah, And then I also thought,
- 25:30Speaker 3: I'm like every single episode that I've linked that means
- 25:33Speaker 3: the links won't work in there anymore. So not only
- 25:35Speaker 3: do we lose the fucking file, also every single link
- 25:38Speaker 3: for the past three years won't work.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Had you was like genuine feeling when you realize this
- 25:42Speaker 1: day you thought you'd done this.
- 25:44Speaker 3: My stomach dropped and I'm like, there's no way. We
- 25:46Speaker 3: have to make a new one. And I was like,
- 25:48Speaker 3: please be a trash. And I told you midweek that
- 25:51Speaker 3: something corrupt because I didn't want tell you because I
- 25:53Speaker 3: want to. I wanted to tell you on here. The
- 25:55Speaker 3: corruption was my brain. And then I went out there
- 25:58Speaker 3: in the trash and I went through and I could
- 26:00Speaker 3: restore all of them, and I was like, thank the Lord, Oh.
- 26:03Speaker 2: My god, so you actually did throw them out, though.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Yes, threw out. I threw them out because I just
- 26:08Speaker 3: deleted everything undry years bro, I said, I just selected everything,
- 26:12Speaker 3: didn't read a single thing, and click delete. Holy show.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Restored it, and then I went back onto it because
- 26:18Speaker 3: for some reason, we have a business email, and then
- 26:20Speaker 3: when we started, we probably didn't even have the business
- 26:21Speaker 3: email connected to it. So I was like, oh, fire out,
- 26:24Speaker 3: So I'm just gonna have to pay for more drive
- 26:28Speaker 3: the business. Yeah, But I was like, but I was
- 26:29Speaker 3: on principle, like I'm not using this shit a pin
- 26:32Speaker 3: for it.
- 26:33Speaker 2: It's like, I think it's like six bucks a month.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but we would pay for drop Box. And I
- 26:36Speaker 3: was like, that was almost the worst fuck up ever, Dude,
- 26:39Speaker 3: that's fine. That would have been bad. Eh.
- 26:41Speaker 1: So basically going off that, that's actually a good segue. So, baddies,
- 26:46Speaker 1: we're gonna went out to cheeky little excuse me, extra
- 26:51Speaker 1: free episode. You know, we usually chuck something like this
- 26:55Speaker 1: on Patreon five dollars a month and whatever. We're giving
- 27:00Speaker 1: it to you for free on Wednesdays. Starting from the Wednesday
- 27:04Speaker 1: coming we're going to be posting a dilemmas episode or
- 27:08Speaker 1: it could be a confession session confession session episode, it
- 27:13Speaker 1: could be a stimulated whatever feeling that week. Now, So
- 27:17Speaker 1: the Dilemma's episodes that are coming out on the Wednesday,
- 27:19Speaker 1: they're going to be themed. I will be asking on
- 27:22Speaker 1: the Instagram story each week to bring in your dilemmas
- 27:26Speaker 1: and then these ones are going to be staying the same,
- 27:28Speaker 1: so same link, same everything. These ones are just whatever
- 27:30Speaker 1: dilemma you've got going. So if you see a story
- 27:33Speaker 1: and you have a current dilemma, that you've wanted to
- 27:35Speaker 1: submit then, and it falls under that category that I
- 27:38Speaker 1: put up.
- 27:38Speaker 2: It's all for free or for free on this episode.
- 27:42Speaker 1: So what I was going to say was I should
- 27:45Speaker 1: use the relatables email because do we have storage on
- 27:49Speaker 1: that one?
- 27:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:50Speaker 2: I think so use Roletto's email to make the link
- 27:52Speaker 2: to it.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, cool. Anyway, ask actually, have you ever in
- 27:58Speaker 3: the three years we've been doing this made a Google
- 28:01Speaker 3: form for this podcast? No?
- 28:02Speaker 2: I don't know how. I actually don't know how. So
- 28:05Speaker 2: when I said.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I, I actually what I meant, I that single one
- 28:11Speaker 1: letter and word I translate to will be relegating to ay.
- 28:14Speaker 2: To create a Google.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Alright, let me kick things off. Okay, mine's juice title.
- 28:23Speaker 3: My mum recently started dating my boyfriend's dad. Soh my god.
- 28:29Speaker 3: My boyfriend and I have been together for a while now.
- 28:32Speaker 3: It's not some high school fling or some short term thing.
- 28:35Speaker 3: We're generally serious about each other. And then a few
- 28:38Speaker 3: months ago our parents met through us and they recently
- 28:41Speaker 3: hit it off. At first we thought it was kind
- 28:44Speaker 3: of funny and harmless, but now it's turned into something real.
- 28:48Speaker 3: They go on dates, they stay over at each other's house,
- 28:52Speaker 3: and it's getting to the point where it's clear they
- 28:54Speaker 3: might actually end up together long term. Now here's where
- 29:01Speaker 3: it gets awkward. If they do stay together, my boyfriend
- 29:05Speaker 3: and I would technically become step siblings. People keep making
- 29:10Speaker 3: comments about how weird it is, and honestly, it's starting
- 29:13Speaker 3: to get in my head. We didn't do anything wrong,
- 29:16Speaker 3: we were together first, but I can't help it feel
- 29:18Speaker 3: like we're living in some twisted family drama. So my
- 29:22Speaker 3: question is is it actually wrong to keep dating him
- 29:25Speaker 3: if our parents do end up together. Are we crossing
- 29:28Speaker 3: some moral line here? Or are people just making it
- 29:31Speaker 3: weirder than it really is? Should one of us end
- 29:34Speaker 3: it before things get even messier? Or do we just
- 29:36Speaker 3: keep doing what makes us happy and ignore everyone else.
- 29:42Speaker 2: That is, hands down the craziest dilemma is that real?
- 29:49Speaker 2: That has to be real? How could you make that up?
- 29:51Speaker 3: Honestly, I would be.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Pissed, first of all, selfish from the parents.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I'd be so selfish, all right. I'll be thinking they're like, oh,
- 30:01Speaker 3: this isn't serious. We can like move things further a
- 30:04Speaker 3: little bit. They're only twenty, We're fucking fifty. We need this.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Can I give bad advice? Before I give maybe good
- 30:13Speaker 2: or just different.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Advice luke warm advice.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, My bad advice is break up with your boyfriend.
- 30:21Speaker 1: All right, you guys break up, Let your parents get together,
- 30:24Speaker 1: get married. You guys are step brother stepsister, all right,
- 30:29Speaker 1: just have some of that crazy step bro steps is
- 30:31Speaker 1: fantasy sex or is that just.
- 30:33Speaker 2: A guy thing from like fucking corn corn corn. I
- 30:36Speaker 2: don't want to say the actual words.
- 30:40Speaker 3: I think it's just a guy that's not a girl thing.
- 30:43Speaker 3: And also I think the fact that they were already
- 30:46Speaker 3: dating before it makes it worse. O.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Wait, this is actually crazy. Yeah, don't don't take that.
- 30:52Speaker 1: That's just like something that pop to mastro. But I
- 30:56Speaker 1: would be living at my back my dad or my mom. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: so I'd be given ultimatums.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I would be the easiest answer right here is telling
- 31:04Speaker 3: your parents that this is not on. We were here first,
- 31:08Speaker 3: fuck off, Like you guys have had a life. Yeah right,
- 31:11Speaker 3: we want to live ours.
- 31:12Speaker 1: We break up by all means whatever, But don't then
- 31:15Speaker 1: fucking don't you dare think about doing this?
- 31:18Speaker 3: Yeah, like this was my thing, don't you dare enter
- 31:22Speaker 3: into it?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Hey?
- 31:23Speaker 3: I actually, to be fair, I reckon if I saw
- 31:26Speaker 3: a future with my girlfriend, like I wanted to marry them,
- 31:30Speaker 3: which I think this person is. I would say to
- 31:32Speaker 3: my dad or mum, like, I'm not going to talk
- 31:34Speaker 3: to you if you keep seeing their dad.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I would give an aultimatum.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be like, it's either if it's my dad,
- 31:39Speaker 1: it's head to my dad. It's either you and I
- 31:41Speaker 1: have a relationship, all right, or we don't have a relationship.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Black and white, all right. I'm not arguing with you
- 31:48Speaker 2: about it. I don't give a fuck about how you
- 31:50Speaker 2: feel about it, because there's eight billion other people in
- 31:54Speaker 2: the world. Figure it out.
- 31:57Speaker 3: What if he's like, you know, I haven't moved on
- 32:00Speaker 3: from your mother in like ten years. This is the
- 32:03Speaker 3: first girl I've actually seen a future with.
- 32:05Speaker 1: To someone else, the first your hand, your bag, fuck off,
- 32:10Speaker 1: get out of my relationship.
- 32:11Speaker 2: That's insane. Now, that makes us what the fuck?
- 32:17Speaker 3: That's how I would be acting to. I would be
- 32:19Speaker 3: lived and I would stand on business to a Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 3: ultimatum would be given. Wait, so you did a nice thing, right,
- 32:28Speaker 3: You wanted to bring your families closer together. You guys
- 32:30Speaker 3: are taking shit serious, right, So you introduce your parent
- 32:32Speaker 3: obviously both you know they're both single, introduce them the
- 32:36Speaker 3: first time they hang out one on one, and I
- 32:38Speaker 3: find out the ultimatums getting.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Dropped first time the first time.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd also be like, what are you doing your own?
- 32:47Speaker 1: I would also be like, dad, that's so embarrassing. Yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'd be like, seriously sorted out. That is so embarrassing
- 32:52Speaker 1: all your life dude. Also, I feel like when you
- 32:56Speaker 1: become a parent, you become a parent first. That should
- 32:59Speaker 1: allays come first over getting with someone else.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Agreed, Yeah, agreed.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's actually such a good point. When you become
- 33:10Speaker 1: a parent, is it, it's your children's happiness first and
- 33:14Speaker 1: then yours.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Is that that's like rule of thumb? Yeah, well I
- 33:16Speaker 2: think it's that crazy?
- 33:17Speaker 3: Is that rules? So I think if the decision is
- 33:19Speaker 3: child's happiness, getting my dick wet, I think it's an
- 33:24Speaker 3: easy decision. It's a good point.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Now we're slowly focusing on the boyfriend's POV, so we're
- 33:30Speaker 1: thinking aboutur dads, right, what about her and her mom?
- 33:33Speaker 3: Okay, let me think about this. I feel like it's
- 33:39Speaker 3: worse because you go you can find in your mum
- 33:42Speaker 3: about your relationship with your part.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Very often have a closer relationship with your mom.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's kind of abbused that because she would
- 33:50Speaker 3: know like to be fair, not to be to be fair,
- 33:52Speaker 3: that's not the right word. The dad and son relationship.
- 33:55Speaker 3: He doesn't know how of how much of a connection
- 33:58Speaker 3: this means to you. But a mum and her daughter,
- 34:01Speaker 3: she should know how much this connection means to you.
- 34:03Speaker 2: This is narcissism behavior to me. Narcissism behavior. I'm terrified
- 34:07Speaker 2: of this. Yeah, that's scary.
- 34:09Speaker 3: I think that's a simple solution. And you should stand
- 34:11Speaker 3: on business and you're not for you you were considering
- 34:13Speaker 3: and breaking up with your partner for your parents' sake
- 34:16Speaker 3: or because it's weird. No, fuck that fuck damn.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 1: All I'm saying is that that initial time they first
- 34:21Speaker 1: hang out, deltamatums coming out, I would say like, you
- 34:23Speaker 1: better fucking fix your shit. Yeah, and I would be like, dude,
- 34:28Speaker 1: that is so embarrassing. I would I would be little him. Yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 1: belittle my mum too.
- 34:35Speaker 2: That is so embarrassing.
- 34:36Speaker 3: It shows like true colors a little bit.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fraw. I'm so sorry. Okay, I thought mine
- 34:42Speaker 2: was kind of good. That was crazy.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Anyway, mine's got a good title too. Help, I don't
- 34:48Speaker 1: want to fuck my boyfriend?
- 34:50Speaker 3: Oh shit? Does it start with I love my boyfriend
- 34:55Speaker 3: so much? It's tall, handsome, funny.
- 34:56Speaker 2: But doesn't even say that. Okay.
- 34:59Speaker 1: So I started dating a guy a month or so ago.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I like him a lot for his personality. I've been
- 35:05Speaker 1: able to have conversations with him that it's taken me
- 35:08Speaker 1: years to have in the past. I feel truly emotionally
- 35:11Speaker 1: safe with him, like no conversation is off the cards.
- 35:14Speaker 1: We have a lot of similar interests too, but I
- 35:17Speaker 1: don't find myself wanting to, as some of the baddies
- 35:20Speaker 1: would say, rip off his shirt and break the buttons open.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I remember when someone said were saying, don't do that.
- 35:31Speaker 1: It's clear that he wants me in that way, and
- 35:33Speaker 1: I feel guilty that I'm taking it, sorry not taking it,
- 35:37Speaker 1: that I'm faking it.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Is this normal?
- 35:41Speaker 1: Should I be concerned that I feel this way so
- 35:42Speaker 1: early on? Do I just need time to warm up
- 35:45Speaker 1: considering I have some trauma in this area. Please help
- 35:48Speaker 1: a girl out.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I beg I feel like this is relatable too, and
- 35:54Speaker 3: it comes back to comparison, and she's obviously comparing her
- 35:57Speaker 3: relationship to other relationships. It's hard though, because are you
- 36:01Speaker 3: comparing it to others or are you comparing it to
- 36:04Speaker 3: what he wants.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I mean, it sounds like you're just not attracted to
- 36:08Speaker 2: the guy.
- 36:09Speaker 3: But no, it's also it could come back to being
- 36:11Speaker 3: asexual or not. Like it's a good point to sex
- 36:14Speaker 3: that much, and.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Especially with trauma in the past, I never know what
- 36:17Speaker 2: bring what like, what it's going to do to you.
- 36:20Speaker 3: It's good that you specify how good he is it
- 36:22Speaker 3: talking and you feel emotionally safe, because that's step one,
- 36:26Speaker 3: because you just need to tell him how you feel because.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Or I just that's that would be so hard to hear.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Like I don't know if this is an insecure thing.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Or anything like that.
- 36:36Speaker 1: But if my girlfriend came to me and she said,
- 36:41Speaker 1: I just fucking love everything about you, you know, I like
- 36:43Speaker 1: everything about you. You make me feel emotionally safe. You know,
- 36:45Speaker 1: I haven't been able to do this for years x
- 36:48Speaker 1: y Z, but I just you just don't turn me on.
- 36:51Speaker 3: No, No, that's not what you say. Okay, because I.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Was gonna say, like I would just be I would
- 36:56Speaker 1: think I'd be doing I think I would be doing
- 36:58Speaker 1: her a favor by saying I really appreciate you saying that.
- 37:02Speaker 1: First of all, I'll check a little bit, but then
- 37:04Speaker 1: obviously we can end it like I don't want you
- 37:06Speaker 1: feel guilty.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I don't want to force yourself.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Well, she needs to ask herself if it's he doesn't
- 37:11Speaker 3: turn her on or I'm not turned on, because if
- 37:14Speaker 3: she said all those things, you're a perfect boyfriend. True,
- 37:17Speaker 3: But I'm not getting horny at the moment, I'm at all.
- 37:22Speaker 3: I'm not into sex and it's nothing on you. Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 3: I'm just in a stage in my life where does
- 37:27Speaker 3: she not want to rip anyone's shirt off? Or yeah,
- 37:29Speaker 3: you going on like the gym and thinking there's a
- 37:31Speaker 3: hot dude there and you want to do that. I
- 37:32Speaker 3: want to rip his shirt off because that's a problem.
- 37:33Speaker 3: But if you're not turned on by anyone, I think
- 37:36Speaker 3: it's okay.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Damn bro, that's a good point because some if.
- 37:40Speaker 3: My girlfriend came to me and it also there's so
- 37:42Speaker 3: many determines, hormonal factors, life, what's going on, how stress
- 37:46Speaker 3: you are, your mental health, it could be that many
- 37:49Speaker 3: different things, and you go through all the steps together
- 37:51Speaker 3: and get through it. And also because you never want
- 37:53Speaker 3: to have sex with him because he wants it and
- 37:56Speaker 3: you don't because you'll begin to resent him and he's
- 38:00Speaker 3: but know as to how you're feeling, because you never
- 38:02Speaker 3: ever want to have sex with someone just because you think.
- 38:04Speaker 2: They want it. Yeah, and you're just doing it because
- 38:06Speaker 2: you feel as though that's because they want it, like
- 38:08Speaker 2: you should be doing it.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, that's not the right reason to have sex.
- 38:11Speaker 3: It's because you are attracted to him and you feel
- 38:14Speaker 3: like you want to have sex. Yeah, you want to
- 38:16Speaker 3: get that emotional yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fucking yeah. And
- 38:20Speaker 3: I think that's where a lot of people do go
- 38:22Speaker 3: wrong in a relationship. They have sex out of what
- 38:24Speaker 3: they think the counterpart wants. Oh drop. So the simple
- 38:30Speaker 3: answer is ask yourself if you're not turned on by anyone,
- 38:33Speaker 3: or is it just him?
- 38:34Speaker 2: Because also, fucking good point. Didn't think of that.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Also, you might just be like, he's allowed to be perfect,
- 38:38Speaker 3: but he's not hot, and that's fine. It sounds shallow,
- 38:41Speaker 3: but it's not like you need to be attracted to
- 38:43Speaker 3: someone to be with them.
- 38:45Speaker 2: That's a good point, man. I feel like that's.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Where people go wrong with I'm not wrong. Wrong is
- 38:49Speaker 3: in the right word. People struggle to break up with
- 38:52Speaker 3: someone or realize this isn't right purely ever looks because
- 38:56Speaker 3: it sounds shallow at face value, and I don't think
- 38:58Speaker 3: it is.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, like people would judge you for it.
- 39:01Speaker 1: But it's also like, okay, what would you do if
- 39:04Speaker 1: you're in that situation? Yeah, he's gonna do it makes
- 39:07Speaker 1: you happy?
- 39:08Speaker 2: I like that that you're gonna ask yourself, am I
- 39:10Speaker 2: literally just not turned on by anyone? Or am I
- 39:13Speaker 2: just not turned on by him?
- 39:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:15Speaker 2: And it's a great place to start.
- 39:16Speaker 3: There's so many steps too. We talked about it, like
- 39:18Speaker 3: a couple of episodes to getting turned on and turning
- 39:21Speaker 3: yourself on or be in this be in a situation
- 39:24Speaker 3: where you could be turned on.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Man four place starts in the morning.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah exactly, And that conversation could start
- 39:31Speaker 3: with I want you to tell me how beautiful I
- 39:32Speaker 3: am when I'm leaving, give me a kiss, slap my
- 39:34Speaker 3: bum if that's what you're like, like, stuff like that,
- 39:36Speaker 3: what's appropriate to you?
- 39:38Speaker 2: Slap him in the faces?
- 39:39Speaker 3: Us twelve hours twelve hours early because if he just
- 39:42Speaker 3: kisses you once and then goes do you want to
- 39:43Speaker 3: have sex? And you're like, well, I'm not turned on
- 39:45Speaker 3: and we'll be like, well, fair, that's actually valid.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, there's no wonder you don't want to
- 39:48Speaker 2: rip his shirt off?
- 39:49Speaker 3: Want to die on me? First, Let's talk about the
- 39:51Speaker 3: positions you want to do, like fucking.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Like get me heated?
- 39:54Speaker 3: Yeah, let me think about it for half an hour,
- 39:57Speaker 3: how much I want to Maybe he can't.
- 39:58Speaker 2: He'll come before it even happens. Go again, No, valid,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I like that.
- 40:04Speaker 3: That's actually so Valid's start with that. Yeah, bad is up?
- 40:13Speaker 3: Next is ig question of the Week and Jake, this
- 40:16Speaker 3: might be the best question we have ever had in
- 40:20Speaker 3: the history of reliable.

- 42:15Speaker 1: one hurt me because I do it and.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I know you would do it.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Okay, Okay.
- 42:20Speaker 2: When they have a sore throat and try to swallow,
- 42:23Speaker 2: but they move their whole head with the swallow to
- 42:25Speaker 2: show that they're in pain.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Show me some sympathy. Oh, I so do that, bro,
- 42:34Speaker 3: I so do that.
- 42:35Speaker 1: That is you too, because you're trying to like it's
- 42:38Speaker 1: almost like you're trying to not let a part of
- 42:42Speaker 1: your throat move because when it moves, that's when it hurts.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You're trying to just let it like I'm trying to
- 42:47Speaker 1: throw the spit back there or.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Something that what kind of hurts a little. Yeah, that
- 42:52Speaker 3: was me because it hurts. I so do that though,
- 42:57Speaker 3: And you sowed you definitely do things men do that
- 43:02Speaker 3: make you say ooh thinking that house chores are only
- 43:05Speaker 3: for women. Oh my god, that.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I saw one that I said, quote like a quote
- 43:13Speaker 1: from a man, I clean my apartment and I and
- 43:16Speaker 1: I cook my dinners and stuff. And then undneath they
- 43:19Speaker 1: were like, okay, being a normal human question Mark, it's
- 43:21Speaker 1: like valid, It's.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Like you're it's like your dating profile.
- 43:24Speaker 1: I have a clean apartment, Like, okay, you're a human,
- 43:28Speaker 1: you have actual like human fucking what's it called levels
- 43:32Speaker 1: of I don't know, expectations.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. We're going to get into Love
- 43:36Speaker 3: Island in the next segment. Oh my, but those men
- 43:40Speaker 3: made me realize how men ah and how bad they are,
- 43:44Speaker 3: and how embarrassing it would be to be dating someone
- 43:47Speaker 3: like that. If that's the norm. No, I mean, like
- 43:50Speaker 3: fucking COI.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're talking about a couple of aut a couple.
- 43:54Speaker 3: If that's the normal. I didn't. I it's hard for us.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I forget men like that exist. This guy, I can't
- 44:00Speaker 3: be real. Is he putting on a facade but he's not.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I was watching it with Beth and I was kind
- 44:05Speaker 1: of like, I was just cringing, and I was just
- 44:07Speaker 1: like an episode ended and I just went, oh my God,
- 44:10Speaker 1: like guys like that actually do exist?
- 44:13Speaker 3: Yeah, And he was like things men do that make
- 44:15Speaker 3: you say, ooh, can I have a kiss?
- 44:18Speaker 2: Give me a kiss?
- 44:19Speaker 3: Come on? And she's like, no, give me a kiss.
- 44:21Speaker 2: The fact that she said no, We'll get into that lady.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I was like, oh, you know what's hilarious? My next one.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Things men do that make you say you Kai from
- 44:34Speaker 2: Love Island.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Things men do that make you say ooh, quote, you're
- 44:40Speaker 3: too emotional, says the guy who punched the wall after
- 44:43Speaker 3: after losing a FIFA.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Honestly valid Yeah, so validated.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Men have no emotions except for when it comes
- 44:56Speaker 3: to playing a game. Yeah, I have one about.
- 45:00Speaker 1: What's what are things men that? What do men do
- 45:03Speaker 1: that make you say you when his football team scores?
- 45:07Speaker 3: I saw one like that too, and they get up
- 45:10Speaker 3: and it's always four Australians, it's n RL. Yeah, and
- 45:14Speaker 3: then like they run around and ship or you're not.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Gonna lie guilty, like getting into a game the team
- 45:19Speaker 2: you want to win scores like we' scored.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I've never seen you do that ever.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I've done it when watching like a Grand Finale with
- 45:29Speaker 1: a group of mates, kind of like be like, I.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Tell you, what's made it worse is that men gamble
- 45:34Speaker 3: on it?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Yeah? No, yeah, I'm not about that.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I've never been a big games Cassie, my girlfriend, came
- 45:40Speaker 3: to me the Melbourne Cup was on. I didn't realize
- 45:42Speaker 3: she came back from work and she's like, oh, I
- 45:46Speaker 3: bet for the first time. I was like, oh yeah,
- 45:49Speaker 3: first time ever. And then she proceeds to tell me
- 45:51Speaker 3: how gambling works, and she's like, if you put more
- 45:54Speaker 3: money on, you win more money back. And I'm like, like, Cassie,
- 46:00Speaker 3: Cassie living under a fucking rock. She bet on the winner.
- 46:04Speaker 3: She put ten dollars down on one fifty.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Oh sick. Yeah, but that's where it starts.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where he was telling me about it. And
- 46:11Speaker 3: then she for the next like half an hour, she's like, oh, yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 3: I might doing it again. No, no, don't let her do it, Cassie, like,
- 46:16Speaker 3: cut your head. Yeah, this is where men start all
- 46:19Speaker 3: my days. I'm glad as a man, I've never been
- 46:21Speaker 3: able to get into gambling or the pokey suppose that's
- 46:25Speaker 3: gambling or betting on any type of sport, but emphasizes
- 46:27Speaker 3: the passion because money is involved.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right. Anyway, here we go.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Here's another one that falls under this category. Things men
- 46:35Speaker 1: do that make you say you punching the air when
- 46:37Speaker 1: excited or feeling victorious.
- 46:41Speaker 3: No, no, I'm against that one. I feel like, if
- 46:43Speaker 3: you're passionate about something, like in a sense of like,
- 46:46Speaker 3: I don't know, you just got a job promotion. Yeah,
- 46:49Speaker 3: for me, let's list some emotion. Yeah, come on. Things
- 46:54Speaker 3: men do that make you say ooh saying hey, baby
- 46:57Speaker 3: girl or good girl?
- 46:59Speaker 2: No becos fucking girls?
- 47:01Speaker 3: A good one, baby girl? Baby? Why are therese you
- 47:06Speaker 3: not you? Maybe it's who sang it.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it is who's saying it. Because I also saw
- 47:11Speaker 2: one when.
- 47:12Speaker 1: It said it said so things men did that you,
- 47:15Speaker 1: And it was when a man acts more attractive than
- 47:19Speaker 1: he is. Yes. So those are the type of men
- 47:22Speaker 1: that have like a bit too much confidence for for
- 47:25Speaker 1: what they portray.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Maybe, and they would say something like, baby girl, good girl?
- 47:30Speaker 3: What that song? Baby girl?
- 47:33Speaker 2: What's your name? Let me talk to you, Let me
- 47:36Speaker 2: buy you a drink.
- 47:37Speaker 3: I think that's how it goes.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm saying the right. It starts
- 47:42Speaker 2: with a baby girl, let me come.
- 47:47Speaker 3: To you, let me buy you a drink.
- 47:49Speaker 2: That's how it goes.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I swear it's more like, baby girl.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Oh you're talking about that song?
- 47:55Speaker 3: You do your dance?
- 47:55Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Okay, this one's fucking a punch in the face for me.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Things men do that make you say you having hairy toes.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you do too.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Surely you do as well. I'm not a hairy man,
- 48:13Speaker 2: you know that, but sure you have to hair in
- 48:15Speaker 2: your toes.
- 48:15Speaker 3: I've got a few little like straight.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I have so much hair in my toes. Death makes
- 48:19Speaker 2: so much fun of me for this that when they
- 48:22Speaker 2: when I get out of the shower.
- 48:23Speaker 3: My big toes have a they have a part like
- 48:26Speaker 3: a hair, like a head of hair has a part.
- 48:27Speaker 2: They have a part in that that you can style
- 48:30Speaker 2: it crazy.
- 48:33Speaker 3: You should gell that shit up. Imagine walking in on
- 48:36Speaker 3: you like cutting trimming your toe hair. I argue this
- 48:41Speaker 3: is the best one things men do that make you
- 48:43Speaker 3: say ooh, and I'm picturing like sixty year old man
- 48:47Speaker 3: at work.
- 48:48Speaker 2: You should smile more.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 48:52Speaker 1: That's like middle aged to older men. Probably even younger
- 48:56Speaker 1: men do it too, but Bets said it's super common.
- 48:59Speaker 1: It's like working in hospitality.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, going off that you were prettier
- 49:05Speaker 3: if you smiled.
- 49:09Speaker 2: There should be times where you're allowed to physically assault someone.
- 49:13Speaker 2: And then when the police ask, and then they say why,
- 49:16Speaker 2: they say, oh, he said I should smile more.
- 49:19Speaker 3: And then they go, oh, Valley.
- 49:21Speaker 2: You should be able to physically assault someone after that.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Agree things men do that makes that you not use
- 49:28Speaker 1: wet wipes for their butt?
- 49:31Speaker 3: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, who's doing that? I
- 49:34Speaker 3: remember when we went on our camping extravaganza up the
- 49:38Speaker 3: East Coast of Australia. Those wet wipes. I think you
- 49:40Speaker 3: introduced me to them because you're doing your number two
- 49:43Speaker 3: is in the bush. You don't want to put too
- 49:46Speaker 3: much toilet paper there because you have to like bury
- 49:48Speaker 3: it or like take away some biogradable wet wipes. Yeah, bro,
- 49:52Speaker 3: we were clean. That was a baby's bum I got
- 49:55Speaker 3: I but you don't do it.
- 49:56Speaker 2: At home for the lack of showering. It was the
- 49:59Speaker 2: cleanest my button ever.
- 50:00Speaker 1: It's a crazy thing to say, but okay, I chose
- 50:05Speaker 1: this one because I don't do this, because who's gonna
- 50:08Speaker 1: do that? But also, here's another thing is I was
- 50:10Speaker 1: listening to a podcast the other day and someone told
- 50:13Speaker 1: told me one of them told the other post that
- 50:17Speaker 1: they have flushable wet wipes.
- 50:19Speaker 3: I've seen them.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Interesting, Let's be real, it's like a jungle down there. Yeah,
- 50:25Speaker 2: it's probably would be better.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Yeah, no dingle berries. Can I ask you a question,
- 50:28Speaker 3: how do you wipe?
- 50:29Speaker 2: I'm really like, I go, I go, what do you do?
- 50:34Speaker 3: So? I, for some reason, I used to be a standard.
- 50:38Speaker 3: You know what's crazy is I knew that and I
- 50:40Speaker 3: remember giving a ship for No.
- 50:41Speaker 2: No, no, I don't know what change me. Something changed me,
- 50:45Speaker 2: But I don't tell me. You go like this now?
- 50:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I go middle. You don't, No, you don't. I
- 50:51Speaker 3: used to be a standard out the back. Go back
- 50:54Speaker 3: to it, half squad, go back to it. But now
- 50:56Speaker 3: I'm a middle. It's the best thing.
- 50:58Speaker 1: No, no, it's not because you want to know why?
- 51:01Speaker 1: Because I my mom. My mom taught me how to
- 51:04Speaker 1: wipe my bum right as all mums do now. She
- 51:07Speaker 1: taught me the way she was taught.
- 51:09Speaker 2: And it was that.
- 51:11Speaker 1: When my balls dropped. All right, the first time I
- 51:16Speaker 1: got pull on my balls, I switched up.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I'm telling you, now, what do you do with them?
- 51:22Speaker 3: Then there's a massive gap between your nuts and your
- 51:25Speaker 3: ask ask.
- 51:26Speaker 2: What do you do with your balls? There's no way
- 51:29Speaker 2: you aren't spreadshit up into your taint.
- 51:31Speaker 3: No, you just just go there and stop.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Me.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Let me, let me. I'm feeling like my subconscious has
- 51:38Speaker 3: been taken over. Let me have a bit of a
- 51:40Speaker 3: think about it next time I do it, and I'll
- 51:41Speaker 3: get back to you.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you do with your balls?
- 51:43Speaker 3: Tell me? I remember, but I'm trying to think what
- 51:45Speaker 3: made me change because I remember. I think I've told
- 51:49Speaker 3: this before, but when I was in Greece playing futsalol,
- 51:53Speaker 3: We're on like a soccer camp, a football camp or whatever,
- 51:56Speaker 3: and all the boys were sucking around when I was
- 51:57Speaker 3: taking a ship, and they like got into the bathroom
- 51:59Speaker 3: and were standing wiping, and then someone said like, oh,
- 52:02Speaker 3: why you're standing? And I was like, oh, I was like,
- 52:05Speaker 3: because I think I was sixteen or sevent eight, I
- 52:06Speaker 3: was like, oh, I was trying to close the door
- 52:08Speaker 3: on is because.
- 52:09Speaker 2: It's so easily influenceable.
- 52:11Speaker 3: You're like, because I was embarrassed that I was standing
- 52:13Speaker 3: when I was wiping.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Oh my god, Okay, I think it's your term.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Things men do that make you say ooh, No knowledge
- 52:25Speaker 3: of the female body other than where to put their d.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Yes fair, Hey, I know, last couple weeks I spoken
- 52:32Speaker 2: with her.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I don't know where the clid is and stuff like that,
- 52:34Speaker 1: but I do have other knowledge of the female body.
- 52:36Speaker 2: I will give you that. The women's body. Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 1: People don't like when we say female yeah women, okay.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Things men do the mixed you when you just want
- 52:46Speaker 1: to complain about something, but they give you a solution.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Ah, just be there to support me. I don't want solutions.
- 52:51Speaker 3: I don't want logic. Yeah, okay, this is my last one.
- 52:55Speaker 3: Can you be the girl in this scenario?
- 52:58Speaker 2: Sure?
- 52:59Speaker 3: Okay. Things men do that make you say.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Where's my hug at?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Oh oh, I'd say, yeah, come here, throat.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Like a throat jab would do. I think that would
- 53:16Speaker 2: do it effect if you hit the Adam's apple, that
- 53:18Speaker 2: would broat jabs can suck up. I would like I
- 53:21Speaker 2: would want to clap they.
- 53:23Speaker 3: I'm more of like a karate kick type dude.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Throat jab Yeah, it's good response to me.
- 53:29Speaker 3: I feel like girls with the right height to get
- 53:30Speaker 3: the angle of trajectory to go straight in the neck
- 53:33Speaker 3: where it's like I'm a bit like you're right, yeah, yeah.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Where's my hug at? What's a good thing to like
- 53:39Speaker 2: shatter some some.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Where's my hugger? And then you could say, I don't
- 53:44Speaker 3: know where's.
- 53:45Speaker 2: My didn't you get one from them on the way?
- 53:51Speaker 3: That's actually good? Last one?
- 53:54Speaker 1: I don't know if you'd get this. But I get this,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and it's embarrassing. I'm not gonna lie things men do
- 53:58Speaker 1: that makes that you belly button fluff.
- 54:00Speaker 3: I don't get that belly button because you have hair there. Yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 3: I get.
- 54:05Speaker 2: I get Hello Li into my belly button.
- 54:06Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Actually, it's actually comical. It's like animation comical.
- 54:10Speaker 3: People used to give me a ship because like, I
- 54:12Speaker 3: can't grow a beard or a bustache.
- 54:14Speaker 2: I'm blessed, ye jealous.
- 54:15Speaker 3: I don't shave ship. Yeah yeah, I'm not a hairy dude.
- 54:18Speaker 2: I've been so lazy lately. I just buzz it down
- 54:20Speaker 2: to this level.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't be bothered. I kind of like you
- 54:23Speaker 3: with hair like that. Thank you.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I was thinking, was you know I was gas like myself,
- 54:26Speaker 1: think like Andrew Winchester vibes.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Fucking let's go start calling your scruffs.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fucking degrading. Don't do that.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Moving on, man, Okay, Baddies Love Island Week two in
- 54:48Speaker 1: the Villa.
- 54:49Speaker 3: This week in the.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Villa, we had Kai come in Jana.
- 54:53Speaker 3: I wish he didn't.
- 54:55Speaker 2: I hate him.
- 54:56Speaker 3: I feel bad for Yanna same.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Here's why I was going to message you midweek, and
- 55:03Speaker 1: just like question we could talk about it now and
- 55:06Speaker 1: question whether or not I ethically feels wrong to support
- 55:09Speaker 1: the show, because one, what they did Diana, it's fucked
- 55:14Speaker 1: up what they did Diana.
- 55:16Speaker 3: She was like shaking, and also seeing how this guy
- 55:20Speaker 3: acts and the trauma that they've brought back into the
- 55:23Speaker 3: villa for her. Yeah, and the premise of the show
- 55:25Speaker 3: when she's trying to get with other people, Yeah, unfair,
- 55:28Speaker 3: they only r Yeah, so they.
- 55:32Speaker 1: They they surely don't know what happened to that relationship.
- 55:36Speaker 1: What if he was abusive? Yeah, exactly, and then he
- 55:38Speaker 1: walks into the villa and she's like, now stuck in
- 55:42Speaker 1: this villa with an abusive act. Like I was like fine,
- 55:46Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck? And like he was
- 55:48Speaker 1: very clearly very emotionally fucking abusive.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Emotionally and he's very controlling, yeah, and like mentally controlling
- 55:56Speaker 3: of like what you can and can't do I feel.
- 55:58Speaker 1: And he's insecure and shit, it's he is a very
- 56:01Speaker 1: difficult watch. So that's where I was gonna say, like,
- 56:04Speaker 1: what's fucking the vertict? Do we support the show by
- 56:07Speaker 1: talking about it on our show? It's fucking Like.
- 56:08Speaker 2: I was like what the hell?
- 56:09Speaker 3: Ah, And before that, I was thinking Cooper was bad.
- 56:13Speaker 3: But although Cooper is very thick, Yeah, and I know
- 56:16Speaker 3: there's something this came out about Cooper where he bashed
- 56:19Speaker 3: a dude, Yeah at a or whatever, But he's thick
- 56:23Speaker 3: as fuck and dumb. But also some of his terminology
- 56:26Speaker 3: and mindset when this confrontation is happening happening is still correct. Yeah.
- 56:32Speaker 3: When he's saying this like it's up to her, dudes,
- 56:34Speaker 3: take a step back, she can decide whatever she wants.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Stop forcing her and putting in a situation that makes
- 56:39Speaker 3: her uncomfortable. Yeah, I was making Cooper look good. He
- 56:42Speaker 3: still understands it.
- 56:43Speaker 2: It was a very, very yeah, hard watch.
- 56:46Speaker 1: So I think like it's gotten a little like my
- 56:52Speaker 1: feelings of that it's gotten a little better. I think,
- 56:57Speaker 1: I don't know, like bringing it up again though, you
- 56:59Speaker 1: think about it.
- 57:00Speaker 3: A bit of last week we talked about it.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Yeah, So they're painting Lacey as the biggest villain. Here's
- 57:11Speaker 1: the thing. I genuinely was like, yeah, villain Lacey.
- 57:15Speaker 2: You know.
- 57:16Speaker 1: The only reason I said they're painting as a villain
- 57:18Speaker 1: is because I've seen multiple videos of people saying I
- 57:22Speaker 1: know Lacey and yes, she's young, obviously, like she's young,
- 57:27Speaker 1: immature and shit, but she is hands down the nicest
- 57:30Speaker 1: person I know. So they are painting as a villain.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But I was also then thinking, like, you know, Yana's
- 57:36Speaker 1: X walks in, she's shaking from anxiety.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Lacey sees that, and she still.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Goes like she she she still does the actions that
- 57:45Speaker 1: make her a bit of a villain, if that makes sense.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think going behind your friends back and hooking
- 57:50Speaker 3: up with their ex even though you did meet three
- 57:53Speaker 3: days ago, is never wrong. Yeah, it's not fair. And
- 57:56Speaker 3: obviously the TV have the producers have played on that
- 58:00Speaker 3: because they're thinking this is good TV, which is annoying.
- 58:02Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know, this is the first time
- 58:04Speaker 3: watching it. I'm kind of with you in a sense
- 58:06Speaker 3: of like, if everyone doesn't watch the show and doesn't
- 58:08Speaker 3: support it, it's not going to be a thing. Yeah,
- 58:10Speaker 3: and like, and it's crazy that it's the concept as
- 58:13Speaker 3: a whole. I can see why people watch it, but
- 58:15Speaker 3: supporting what they're doing to these girls slash platforming, this
- 58:20Speaker 3: dude also not doing I know Cooper did the action
- 58:24Speaker 3: of hitting someone else after the show, but he.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Actually did it before the show, because the show's pre recorded.
- 58:30Speaker 3: Do you fucking due diligence and find that shit out,
- 58:33Speaker 3: fucking do some retar its going on live TV. Potentially
- 58:36Speaker 3: having a career out of this obviously has ruined it now. Yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 3: but like that's taken away from a good man. You
- 58:41Speaker 3: could highlight, but you've got someone who has the traits
- 58:44Speaker 3: to hit someone. And then Ki the other dudes are nice.
- 58:48Speaker 2: The other dudes actually are nice.
- 58:49Speaker 3: We could get onto we mislabeled mick I reckon, So.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what that's fuck talking about that? Yeah,
- 58:55Speaker 1: it's all about the good ones. Yeah, Connor and Isabelle
- 58:58Speaker 1: they are good, am I right?
- 58:59Speaker 3: Or actually there's a new man that's come in and
- 59:01Speaker 3: they bill the tail in and Isabelle's kind of like
- 59:04Speaker 3: but also you don't know if she's actually entertaining it
- 59:06Speaker 3: or they're making her say that. So there's actually a
- 59:09Speaker 3: little bit of entertainment there.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I found out something about that TP. Oh, so that
- 59:14Speaker 1: TP is like a little conversation TP. Right, there's a
- 59:18Speaker 1: producer standing right there obviously, and the camera standing right there,
- 59:21Speaker 1: and apparently in the tepe they manufacture those conversations.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Yeah, fuck the shower, I think if they let it
- 59:30Speaker 2: flow a bit, they'll let it flow. But things like.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Because that made me think less of Isabelle, even though
- 59:35Speaker 3: her actions with Cooper after Connor sorry after we're so genuine.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so it's it's that's the thing is is
- 59:45Speaker 1: it's apparently pretty manufactured in that tepe. I don't know
- 59:48Speaker 1: if it's just the teepeer or the whole thing, but
- 59:49Speaker 1: like that TP is a very manufactured thing and.
- 59:53Speaker 3: Other good couples. Ross Ross is coming into his own
- 59:56Speaker 3: skin really like same with Shan Ross and Shan. Shan's
- 59:59Speaker 3: funny like Sean week one her tick, I reckon was
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: talking too much, so and she just said random ship.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Well, well, I don't even think she was talking too much.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I think that she was trying to just entertain, entertain,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: make the show good, get a bit of personality on
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the show, which respect.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: But I think that she's actually.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Well I was trying to say, maybe not talk too much,
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: but like saying shit, she didn't actually believe it. Agreed, Yeah, agreed,
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: And I actually think now she's showing her true colors
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: and she's a weapon.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: She's she seems very nice, very mature, very.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Same we've I like Gabby's a little bit toxic, but
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I really like her.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I think Gabby's hilarious.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's like standing on business. I like her. Jotham,
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: I like jan Tootham. It seems a bit thick.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: The thing I like about Jotham is, in my opinion,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: he's actually been pretty honest.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Same.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's my vibe overall vibe.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: I think he's great.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: And then Mick.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Let's get on to Mick Nick Mick.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: I like Mick. He's my favorite.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Now I recond we severely severely did our boy Mick wrong.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: But okay, this is the producer's fault. What they made
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: him say portrayed him as such a bad, toxic man.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: And then he comes in. He's this funny guy with
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: the quirkiest, coolest sense of humor, actually treats all the
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: women with respect. Yeah, and then he's just kind of funny.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hilarious.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: The whole fucking omelet thing with Yanna, my god.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So he starts making an omelet for Yana, and then
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Yanna's X walks in.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: She's stressing, he's still making the omelet. He's like terrible timing,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Oh my god, and he's stressing about this omelet.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: He doesn't give a fuck about like a French so
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and so then all the girls got to have a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: chat and she's talking about her, talking about her X cup,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and so he's the omot's ready.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: He comes out. He goes, do you want it to me?
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: It was the funniest thing. She goes, no, I'm good,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I'm going good for the mode. He goes, okay, cool, cool, cool,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: And he's just thinking, like he is so upset about
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: this omelet thing in a funny way. And so for
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: just the whole day he's trying to get her to
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: have this omelet. And then he finally Kai finally comes
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: upstairs and mixed there trying to get her eat this omelet,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: brings it back to the kitchen and he says to Kai, mate,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: you couldn't have come in a worse time. He literally
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: says that to him, I was like.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: And then at the end of the four episodes you
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: get per week, two bombshells came in. What are their names?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Matao Matao.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Tamara Tomorrow. She was Irish Irish model in Melbourne and
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Cooper's talking to her thinking he's putting in business putting
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: fucking the work in together and he walks downstairs like
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: have fun. Mick.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Following that, she's like, conversation is gone forever.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I feel I've been talking to Cooper for days. Oh
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: my god. Mick comes in asking for tig, drops it
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: on Cooper and ship and is this playing on Cooper's
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Like Cooper's desperate because he obviously wants to survive and
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: he's gonna get better.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't have a couple, and they did send
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: him a text saying, Cooper, but a couple up, we'll
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: get out.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so he's in a tough position.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: And then Mick came in and she's laughing and honestly,
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Mick and what's her name?
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Tomorrow Tomorrow look good together? They do.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: They look good together.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: The funniest part of that is so Cooper thinks he's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: chatting her up. She's like, this is going on for
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: days and then he leaves. Ross goes, how do you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: think it went?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Like? Do you think I reckon? He goes, oh, br
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: it's so on?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was like, no, they've done him so dirty,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Like I feel bad for the embarrassment, but they've done
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: him so dirty.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: And I was like, no, it's not Coop, I know,
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: and Mateo is obviously going to try to get Isabelle.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: I haven't seen enough of him, though, I've got good,
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: good first impressions. Or the one thing when Sean said
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: something about her heart.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: That was weird, Yeah, she like straight away.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: That was one of the things where she was talking
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: to like She's like, how tall are you? Yeah, and
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: then he's like, doesn't look like you're sure. I was like, fuck,
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: and it's just like a way to heart. I saw
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: a video on TikTok of they measured him bang on
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: six foot, damn on his afro, on his afro, So
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: he's probably same as you, but with his broad bang
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: on six foot, it's not that much of an I bought,
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: I thought to pull up bar and all you're.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Gonna say, you bought like soule insert and an inversion table?
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Is that to make it taller?
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Well, I bought them.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: So I bought the pull up bar to do dead hanks, yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and pull ups and ship at home if ever just
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: like skipped gym, But I bought them to do dead
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: hans And because I want it, I'm gonna my shoulders.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Are a funk off out of alignment.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: And I think that's one of the reasons I get
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: mad migraines because I've been doing like a bunch of
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: research on it gives you weird knots that don't go away.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: They give you migraines. Dead hanks really good for like
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: alignment and ship inversion table really good for lower back
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and just all that backhouse. But at the same time
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: make a taller Gravity.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Is an inversion table where you strap yourself on and
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: then turn yourself upside out. Yes, that's gonna be in
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: your house.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: It's gonna be up upstairs, on top on the roof.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Things men do make you say, oh that it's gonna
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: be on the roof. Bro imagine bad like roof.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: No one goes out there.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: You're upside down on the roof. Hey give me fifteen.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: All right, Well let's leave it on peak and pit
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: of this week of Love Island. I open the omelet
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: with Mick oh one and Pitt Kai Kai can actually
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: like I want him to get I reckon they The
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: bad thing about it as well being pre recorded, is
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: they can't gauge what the audience is saying. Oh my god,
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: but they could if but they actually could yeah, they could.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: They should be able to tell, but they if it
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: wasn't recorded live, they should vote him out. Make everyone
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: else vote him out for being toxic. Yeah, it's not
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: fair on Yana or any of the.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Other guys like that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: That that conversation where like Lazy was talking to Cooper,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Ki comes over, he's done. All right, you've got five
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: minutes and shit like that's insane, very insane.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: All right, bout his comments time.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: If I get your comment, read oh yeah, this comment below,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: and we might get to it next week.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I've got one.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I actually got one from Spotify because I was earlier
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: in the week. I was like going through some comments
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: and I was looking at replying to a few, and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Erica long she I want to say she did me dirty,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: but she didn't. I'll take my medicine because she didn't
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: do me dirty. She just she just told me. What's
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: what if you use Google Maps to get you places,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you can use the internet to educate yourselves to get
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: your girls to the place of an orgasm?
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Is that it?
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Especially knowing that the majority of women don't reach climax
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: by just vaginal penetration, little biology lesson here.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: I was like, fuck, I never said I don't make
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: her organs.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: You were digging yourself a whole. I was just under honest.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: I was just thinking, like, like, I know that spot
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: this is more than one g spot. Like, go do
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: some research and I will, like.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I here's the thing is, Like if you gave me
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: a diagram, I could tell you where it is.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: What I'm telling you is I've never had, never laid
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: eyes on it.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: And go do some research and tell us what you find. Okay,
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: I will next comments next week, I will Okay, my one,
