- 0:34So now let's jump in.
- 0:40Welcome back.
- 0:41As always, I've got someone very exciting.
- 0:43This is Denise Byron, and some of you may know her from podcasts with, for
- 0:50example, Warwick Schiller and others, and she's sort of become the horse
- 0:58person's astrologer in a strange way.
- 1:01And I was lucky enough to meet Denise at Warwick Schiller's journey on summit
- 1:07in England year and a half or so ago.
- 1:11And we were both speakers there.
- 1:13And I'm always a little bit afraid when I meet astrology witchy people,
- 1:17'cause I always think they, they're going to see right through me and see
- 1:20what an imposter I am in every way.
- 1:22And so I tend to run and hide in other parts of the building.
- 1:26But then I, I met Denise and found that in fact, no, she
- 1:30was very warm and empathetic.
- 1:31And so I've worked up the courage to have her on the show and therefore to
- 1:37ask her all the sort of astrology type questions, particularly from a horseman's
- 1:40perspective that I think a lot of us would like to ask, but often feel a bit shy too.
- 1:46So Denise, thank you for coming on.
- 1:49Can you tell us who you are and sort of why you are and
- 1:53how you came to be as you are?
- 1:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, that's a great question.
- 1:59Well, like you, I am a curious person, so that's the who of who I am.
- 2:06I'm curious.
- 2:07I want to learn as much as I can.
- 2:10I want to be present.
- 2:12I, how I came to be doing the work that I do starts when I was very young.
- 2:20So I'll just, it's a long, long story, but I'll, I'll try to do my best to
- 2:24make it concise when I was quite young.
- 2:28I just love to look at the sky.
- 2:30I love, I mean like all kids, right?
- 2:32Lay on the ground, look at the stars, watch what's happening around us, and
- 2:39that feeling of wonderment never left.
- 2:43Mm-hmm.
- 2:43It just never left.
- 2:45And when I was eight years old, and this is a different part of the story, but
- 2:48all combined, my grandmother died and she was very, very much a part of my life.
- 2:54A beautiful woman, very kind, very loving gone way too young, of course.
- 2:58But the night she died, I didn't realize she was dying.
- 3:03She showed up in my room and we lived 3000 miles apart.
- 3:08Rupert Isaacson: Where were you?
- 3:09Denise Elizabeth Byron: I was in California and she was in New York.
- 3:12Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 3:12Denise Elizabeth Byron: And there she was, and I thought, huh.
- 3:19Grandma's visiting.
- 3:20Cool.
- 3:21And then I woke up the next morning or got up the next morning and my mother
- 3:25had to tell me that she had died.
- 3:28And I was very distraught.
- 3:32I was only eight, so I don't, maybe I was even seven, seven or eight.
- 3:36And I just, I, I knew that death was bad in some form.
- 3:42Like I knew I was gonna miss.
- 3:43I mean, was it bad?
- 3:44No, not really bad.
- 3:45But something had changed that everyone was sad and I had had cats pass before and
- 3:51dogs, and so I knew that there was death was something that you should realize.
- 3:59Side note, having me on a podcast means we're going to
- 4:02talk about death at some point.
- 4:04This is just a normal thing.
- 4:06So death meant something very significant and I, I knew that I was gonna miss
- 4:11seeing my grandmother in person.
- 4:13That being said, I was somewhat amused at the fact that I
- 4:18could actually talk to her.
- 4:22So of course I said that to my mother.
- 4:24I said, well, I mean, whatever words my 8-year-old self said, I understand
- 4:30she's gone, but she's in my room.
- 4:34Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 4:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: And fortunately my mother understood
- 4:38because my mother had that, had a very similar gift in that way as well.
- 4:43So,
- 4:44Rupert Isaacson: your mother put her broomstick in the corner and
- 4:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: said, yeah, she now listen,
- 4:48Rupert Isaacson: sticking my child.
- 4:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 4:49I think it would've been better if all the women had just done that actually.
- 4:53It would've just been a lot easier to just, but, but not
- 4:56so much during that time.
- 4:57Actually, I will say from a more serious point of view, women really have had to
- 5:02struggle to be themselves over the years.
- 5:04That is, that is actually true.
- 5:07Anyway.
- 5:07So talking to my grandmother, starting to notice things are a little different.
- 5:12Starting to see other things that apparently other people can't see.
- 5:17Rupert Isaacson: Quick pause question.
- 5:18Yes.
- 5:18So she doesn't just show up in your room that one time and disappears,
- 5:21Denise Elizabeth Byron: oh no,
- 5:22Rupert Isaacson: she's with me all the time goes, she
- 5:23starts showing up regularly and
- 5:24Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 5:25Rupert Isaacson: Saying, and what does she say?
- 5:26Does she say, clean your room?
- 5:28Does she say no?
- 5:30Say you should visit the dentist more often.
- 5:32Does she say the universe is composed of love?
- 5:36Does she say, what does she say?
- 5:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: You know, I, I love those questions because later
- 5:41on I have to say, people will say all kinds of things, but at that moment
- 5:45in time, what was happening was this sheer extraordinary energy of love.
- 5:54Rupert Isaacson: Mm.
- 5:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Because that's what I knew my grandmother to be.
- 5:56Yeah.
- 5:57You know, she was the person who would hold me, hug me, teach me how to
- 6:01crochet, you know, go for a walk with me.
- 6:05And so there wasn't as much conversation at that moment in time.
- 6:09It was just a feeling
- 6:11Rupert Isaacson: mm-hmm.
- 6:11Denise Elizabeth Byron: Of being held that no matter what, I was going to be safe.
- 6:16Which again, was an important, very important message going forward in
- 6:22my life from that time and, and on.
- 6:26So having that energy there, having her energy with me, opened
- 6:32up the doors to other things.
- 6:34So I was living a childhood where, and you know, you know, the Irish, the Irish side.
- 6:40I was living a childhood where there were fairies and there were, you
- 6:44know, we talked to all the animals.
- 6:46It was really normal.
- 6:47You talked to the bird, you talked to the cat, you talked to the
- 6:50cow, you talked to the horse.
- 6:53Very normal in my, in my childhood when it became not normal, was a
- 6:59little bit later going into high school, starting to realize other
- 7:04people had not lived like this.
- 7:07Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 7:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: So, starting to shut down.
- 7:09And I think this is a story I would imagine almost every
- 7:12single one of your listeners has.
- 7:14There's a certain point where the shutting down starts to happen.
- 7:17Sometimes it's sooner.
- 7:19In my case, it was just a little later, which gave me more time to normalize
- 7:24it and to realize from the brain, oh, this might not be appropriate for this
- 7:31setting, so I'm gonna dial it back.
- 7:34So I knew early on that there were messages that wanted to come through.
- 7:42There were loved ones on the other side, and that the stars
- 7:47in particular held messages.
- 7:49And now I will actually answer your question.
- 7:52I think my brain when I was young was, is it's wired differently.
- 7:57So I couldn't read until I was much older, probably eight or nine.
- 8:04And so.
- 8:06Hieroglyphics actually became a language.
- 8:10So you have to think of the time.
- 8:11So late sixties, early seventies, there's all of this energy around
- 8:16the Rosetta Stone and the, you know, all of the hieroglyphics, all
- 8:20Rupert Isaacson: the new agey stuff is happening.
- 8:21Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:22It's all happening.
- 8:23So it was normal to see hieroglyphics show up, national Geographic, whatever.
- 8:27Right.
- 8:28And they made sense to me.
- 8:30My brain could understand the visual of a symbol, but I couldn't understand
- 8:37how letters and words on a page worked.
- 8:41So I just, I plastered my bedroom with pictures of planets and hieroglyphics
- 8:46and, and I just, that was my world.
- 8:49And then music, and I don't know if you can, I don't know if you play,
- 8:52do you play a musical instrument?
- 8:54Rupert Isaacson: I do, but yeah.
- 8:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 8:55So, you know, when you're reading music, you're looking at symbols.
- 8:59And the symbols, they speak, they have energy.
- 9:02They tell you, okay, I play the piano, so press this note, and then press
- 9:08it soft, or press it hard, you know, depending on what you see on the, mm-hmm.
- 9:12On the sheet music.
- 9:13So my brain was really wired for symbols.
- 9:18Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 9:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: So next part of the story.
- 9:23My mother decides to become an amateur astrologer because it's the seventies.
- 9:28And Linda Goodman has written a great book, star Signs, and then
- 9:33her other sun signs and love signs.
- 9:35And so my mother's into this, so she becomes
- 9:38Rupert Isaacson: up.
- 9:38A quick, quick question just before you go on with your mother.
- 9:40Is your grandmother showing up nightly?
- 9:44Does it begin to fade?
- 9:46If so, at what point does it begin to fade?
- 9:49Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, that's a great question.
- 9:51Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 9:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: She was there every day for a very, very long time.
- 9:55Very long time to the point where my my one uncle who's passed actually
- 10:00all my uncles have passed now, but the one uncle, he would say, so
- 10:04have you heard from Grandma Ties?
- 10:06Have you heard from her?
- 10:08Yeah.
- 10:08Every day.
- 10:09So it became kind of like this.
- 10:10I, I realize now they, they had to make light of it.
- 10:14'cause it was a little scary for a lot of people.
- 10:16Like, is she a little weird?
- 10:18What's happening?
- 10:19You know, is she okay?
- 10:21So anyway, yes, she showed up for many years, every day and honestly
- 10:27Rupert Isaacson: into your past puberty.
- 10:29Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh yes.
- 10:30Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 10:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, yes.
- 10:31Into my twenties and thirties.
- 10:32Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 10:32Denise Elizabeth Byron: I would say now, I can access her.
- 10:36That's how I would say it.
- 10:37I can go to that level of energy that was my grandmother
- 10:42and I can access that energy.
- 10:44But I've
- 10:44Rupert Isaacson: often, I imagine you went, but around the time you start
- 10:46getting into boys saying, grandma, can you
- 10:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 10:48Look the other way.
- 10:49Well, yeah.
- 10:49Okay.
- 10:49So good question.
- 10:51You, you land on a great question that everybody wants to know.
- 10:54Everybody wants to know.
- 10:55Do they spy on you?
- 10:57Okay.
- 10:58Everyone wants to know this.
- 11:00You have to tell them not to.
- 11:03I have a great story.
- 11:04Can we, can we go into the weight R section?
- 11:08Rupert Isaacson: You do because it's what everybody wants to know and they, and
- 11:10Denise Elizabeth Byron: everybody wants
- 11:11Rupert Isaacson: to know this.
- 11:12Then we'll go back to your mum being a, a a, an amateur astrologer.
- 11:15Yeah.
- 11:15Okay.
- 11:15Go on.
- 11:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 11:16We'll come back to that.
- 11:17This is more fun.
- 11:17Okay.
- 11:18I mean, you know, I mean it's great.
- 11:19Yeah, sure.
- 11:19The whole astrology thing is what I do, but this is, this
- 11:22is another part of my work.
- 11:23Rupert Isaacson: Atrology ology.
- 11:24Let's go to
- 11:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: rra.
- 11:25Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:26So my first mentor, an incredible woman, I'm gonna tell you this story
- 11:33'cause this is where I learned it.
- 11:34But at this time, I'm 21 years old, so I don't know anything about any of this.
- 11:38This has just been my life.
- 11:39My grandmother's with me.
- 11:41I just, I mean, I have to say I kissed a lot of boys.
- 11:44So if she was there, I just didn't pay attention 'cause Right.
- 11:47Rupert Isaacson: But she never commented on.
- 11:49Denise Elizabeth Byron: She did not comment.
- 11:50She was always there.
- 11:52Just, you know, and, and again, did, did we have conversations,
- 11:56we did have conversations.
- 11:58They often looked like, what am I gonna do?
- 12:01And she'd say, you're gonna be safe.
- 12:04And this, and once in a while she would give, and this, this answers another
- 12:08question that people often ask too.
- 12:10She would give me information that would help me discern, but
- 12:15I had to make my own decision.
- 12:17Mm-hmm.
- 12:17She did not tell me what to do.
- 12:19She would just be there as this added bonus.
- 12:22Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 12:23Denise Elizabeth Byron: As a, as a added consciousness if you were, you know?
- 12:25Mm-hmm.
- 12:26Just something like that.
- 12:27So anyway, my first mentor, she was shared with us that you had to
- 12:32create boundaries because when she was, she was an incredible psychic.
- 12:38She worked with police departments, helping find children, actually,
- 12:42and I mean, it was, the seventies in California was a really tough
- 12:46time, unfortunately, in that realm.
- 12:48Yes.
- 12:48Yeah.
- 12:48But she did a great job doing that work.
- 12:50And she said when she married her second husband, so her husband died, and then
- 12:56their best friends, the wife died, and then they ended up getting together.
- 13:01They had like eight children between them.
- 13:03They ended up getting together, and one night she, they were in the bedroom
- 13:08and she looked up, and both of the spouses who had passed on were watching.
- 13:15And she said no.
- 13:17And then no.
- 13:19You just say, no, you have to go.
- 13:21Now this is my sacred space and they leave.
- 13:25Rupert Isaacson: Right.
- 13:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: But you have to tell them sometimes.
- 13:28She said.
- 13:28So ever since then, I have made it very clear.
- 13:32No one in the bedroom, no one in the bathroom.
- 13:35Very clear.
- 13:36Unless it's an emergency of some kind.
- 13:39Yeah.
- 13:40Then no, you know, wait.
- 13:43Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 13:43Denise Elizabeth Byron: And also many years later, I do, I do have
- 13:47and I teach this to a lot of people.
- 13:49I do have what I call gatekeepers, and I was taught that by another mentor of mine.
- 13:54And the gatekeepers can come in many forms.
- 13:56Mm-hmm.
- 13:57But I ask my gatekeepers to, they handle things.
- 14:01If something needs to get in, in the middle of the night, they can wake me up.
- 14:05But it really, I mean, it really has to be an emergency.
- 14:08Rupert Isaacson: Absolutely.
- 14:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: And I've had those, I mean, there, there
- 14:09are people, there are souls.
- 14:11There are spirits that need support and so they will come in.
- 14:15But anyway, so yes the truth is they can see you.
- 14:20And the truth is you do need to set a boundary.
- 14:23So it's,
- 14:23Rupert Isaacson: well, you know, you know what I feel I've always felt about that is
- 14:28a why would I mind.
- 14:31Because I imagine that anyone who's within the fields of consciousness
- 14:37is so beyond any sort of,
- 14:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: they are so
- 14:40Rupert Isaacson: judgment thing that, I mean, any more than I would
- 14:43be watching my horses or something.
- 14:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, exactly.
- 14:46Rupert Isaacson: But the, but the, the other thing is that I've always had
- 14:49the absolute feeling that anyone who is within the fields of consciousness,
- 14:55who's aware of me in that way from another, you know, other dimension,
- 15:01perhaps they've died is beneficent.
- 15:04They're, they're, they're not, they're not here to do anything other than help.
- 15:08And those sorts of adolescent human judgments are not
- 15:12relevant to that state of being.
- 15:15So I am in no way worried, you know?
- 15:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 15:18I wouldn't worry.
- 15:19Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 15:20But it, it's just humorous, you know?
- 15:22One has to, one
- 15:23Denise Elizabeth Byron: has to, it's so humorous because it's our
- 15:25response like this, I'm like, Ugh,
- 15:28Rupert Isaacson: ugh.
- 15:29It's kind of
- 15:29Denise Elizabeth Byron: not
- 15:30Rupert Isaacson: really relevant.
- 15:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: Privacy comes from being an oldest child too.
- 15:33It's just like, privacy.
- 15:35Please.
- 15:36You know, it's that, you know, I, I would, yeah.
- 15:38So anyway.
- 15:38It is, it's an amazing, I love how you explain it too, and, and
- 15:43your own experience, because the other realms, they are profound.
- 15:49And there, there, there are, there are definitely energies that are not invited.
- 15:56And I make that very clear.
- 15:57Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 15:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: There are beings that have passed over that I
- 16:04may not want to have a connection with.
- 16:06So I set up that boundary.
- 16:08And, but most often it's always comes down to it.
- 16:13Everything kind of comes down to the same message.
- 16:16Everything comes down to one message.
- 16:18And that is all there really is.
- 16:21And I don't wanna sound like a song, but that it's just love.
- 16:24Everything is love.
- 16:25Rupert Isaacson: Indeed.
- 16:25You're preaching to converted, you know, and, and I had my own death experience,
- 16:29which I, we can talk about in a minute.
- 16:30Mm-hmm.
- 16:31So I'm 100% with you on that.
- 16:33And I think there's a reason why in every spiritual tradition in the
- 16:38world, every single one, even if they get certain things wrong, the
- 16:43underlying message is always it's love.
- 16:47Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 16:47Rupert Isaacson: This, we know, you know, this, we know to are, you know,
- 16:51to the, to whatever is beyond ourselves.
- 16:55We, we, we know it in our mitochondria.
- 16:58We know it, we know it to be true.
- 16:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 17:00Yes.
- 17:00Rupert Isaacson: But okay, your mom goes, decides she wants to
- 17:03become an amateur astrologer.
- 17:05But you, what you've been talking about in our little digression
- 17:09here has been more about being psychic than being an astrologer.
- 17:15And of course they're not always the same thing, right?
- 17:17Mm-hmm.
- 17:17Not everyone who's psychic is an astrologer.
- 17:19Not everyone who's an astrologer psychic.
- 17:21There can be, I, I guess a logical crossover, but it's
- 17:25by no means a a certainty.
- 17:29Right.
- 17:30So you are aware of your grandmother and this lasts, you
- 17:35know, into your young adulthood.
- 17:37And I presume at a certain point she's not the only one, but your
- 17:41mum, you also mentioned siblings.
- 17:44You said you're the oldest child.
- 17:46Is this kind of way of looking at the world and being in the world
- 17:50also with your siblings, and is it also with your mother and is it also
- 17:54with your father, or are you feeling No, I'm kind of a bit alone in this.
- 17:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: That's a good question also.
- 18:01Um hmm.
- 18:07I would say that I felt supported to grow along my own path in that one way.
- 18:16And so it wasn't that I was.
- 18:21Not supported.
- 18:22I just, I did feel alone though, and my brother and sister I was much older,
- 18:27so by the time I started to shut things down, they were just beginning to grow
- 18:32up and they were still quite young, so they did not know that part of me
- 18:37probably until later because, you know, again, surviving in school was a primary,
- 18:45you know, primary focus at the time.
- 18:48And my brother and sister are extraordinary humans.
- 18:53And I've come to the, I, I have this thought, I haven't actually shared
- 18:57it with them so I can share it now that we each have taken a branch of
- 19:02something within the family line.
- 19:05My sister is an extraordinary artist.
- 19:08She is a gifted chocolatier.
- 19:11She is a writer.
- 19:12She is very, very creative.
- 19:14And I feel like she took that, she has that creative branch and
- 19:18she's, she's really focused there.
- 19:21And then my brother is a wonderful professor of East Asian history.
- 19:28And so he took the very intellectual route and through his own neurodiversity.
- 19:35Again, all of us have it in our family and we all had to somehow find a way to get
- 19:42through school and we all did pretty well.
- 19:45He chose to go even further and move into that intellectual realm.
- 19:49So he's taking the intellectual branch and they each have their own spirituality
- 19:55for sure, but that's not their focus.
- 19:58Mm-hmm.
- 19:58And I ended up going into education and teaching, but
- 20:02the spiritual branch was mine.
- 20:05I could feel it.
- 20:06That's what I was being called to all along.
- 20:08So then I made that the focus and yeah, I've just been, it's been interesting
- 20:14to look back and see how each of, we are all very, very different.
- 20:18They love me.
- 20:20They think I'm weird and they love me.
- 20:25They are, they're wonderful siblings in that respect.
- 20:28So we all respect each other and we are all very different.
- 20:31Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 20:32So, okay, now your mom gets into amateur astrology.
- 20:35It's the seventies.
- 20:36All those Linda Goodman books are coming out as we know.
- 20:38Yes.
- 20:38Go on.
- 20:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 20:40So I grow up in a household at that point where my mother's doing
- 20:43astrology the old fashioned way before we had computers drawing everything
- 20:49by hand and casting the charts.
- 20:51And I am watching this kind of living in this soup and she would.
- 20:56I don't know if she was talking to herself or she was talking to me, but
- 21:00you know how when we're learning and we're talking through something, so I'm
- 21:04absorbing and I'm hearing and listening I've eventually learned how to read.
- 21:08I think I may be eight or nine.
- 21:10And the minute the key unlocked and I was able to understand how
- 21:17letters and words worked, I could read at a higher level than my age.
- 21:23Mm-hmm.
- 21:23So all of a sudden, everything just unlocked.
- 21:25So I started reading the astrology books.
- 21:27I started reading all her past life books.
- 21:30I started reading, you know, Edgar Casey and all, all, all the, all the
- 21:35ones from the seventies, obviously.
- 21:38And that
- 21:39Rupert Isaacson: just, just give you a quick aside.
- 21:40Yes.
- 21:40Those who do not know who Edgar Casey was he was known as the sleeping
- 21:44Prophet and he lived in Virginia Beach in the early part of the 20th century.
- 21:49And he would go into a profound state of trance sleep and come out with
- 21:56stuff that was often very helpful.
- 21:58Sometimes prophetic, often turned out to be true.
- 22:01And he is one of the, if you've ever heard the term acas record this idea
- 22:07that all sort of knowledge is stored out in some other field that we can
- 22:11tap into that really to a large degree in the 20th century, starts with him.
- 22:15Of course, it's not, he's not the only bloke on the planet ever to come up to
- 22:19this conclusion, but nonetheless, it's So, Edgar Casey's very interesting.
- 22:23If you want to know more the.
- 22:24Tons of it on YouTube.
- 22:25Okay.
- 22:26Back to you.
- 22:26Okay,
- 22:27Denise Elizabeth Byron: great.
- 22:27I love the history lessons.
- 22:29They're so important because, you know, you and I are not too far apart in age.
- 22:33I'm a little bit older, but we're not that far apart in age.
- 22:36And so we have some scenario.
- 22:38Rupert Isaacson: But you are 28.
- 22:39Yeah.
- 22:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 22:40And you're I think, what, 27?
- 22:42Rupert Isaacson: I'm, I'm, I'm, well, I never made it
- 22:43mentally much past three, so.
- 22:45Yeah,
- 22:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: exactly.
- 22:47I have, I, I'm not, I don't, I have a thought, but I'm not gonna go there yet.
- 22:51So anyway.
- 22:52I have a thought.
- 22:53I have a thought.
- 22:54So anyway, so yeah.
- 22:56So I lived in this soup.
- 22:58I started reading.
- 22:59Okay.
- 22:59Like I said, I started to shut things down a little bit, got to
- 23:02college, shut it down even more.
- 23:04And then in my twenties, I, I couldn't shut it down anymore.
- 23:09And I think a lot of it was just they, it, it, the, and maybe this, maybe
- 23:17other people could relate to this, but I could feel the energies around me.
- 23:20I just didn't really know what to do with them.
- 23:22Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 23:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: And, and it was like, it was getting crowded.
- 23:26It was getting crowded, and it was as if I needed to open a door.
- 23:30Mm-hmm.
- 23:30Again, and so that's when I started working with that first teacher
- 23:34and mentor and the psychic who was working with police departments.
- 23:38And during that training, I realized that was not the work I was meant to do.
- 23:43I was not going to be working with police departments, but I
- 23:46did wanna keep that door open.
- 23:48Rupert Isaacson: And how did you find that mentor, and why did
- 23:50that mentor decide to take you on?
- 23:51Was, was he or she running the school for police psychics with a small ad
- 23:57that you could answer in the LA Times?
- 23:59Or did you meet by word of mouth, or, there must have been
- 24:02a, an interesting story there.
- 24:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 24:04You know, it's a, it's a, that's a very good question as well.
- 24:08I believe that.
- 24:09Somebody said, you should go see this woman.
- 24:12I, I think that's how it, it started like that.
- 24:14So I went to see her.
- 24:15We had this conversation.
- 24:16She said, oh, by the way, I am having a class.
- 24:19Do you wanna come?
- 24:21And so my best friend and I at the time, we decided to go to the class and
- 24:25I don't know what possessed me, but I dragged my younger sister, bless her, I
- 24:31dragged her to the class and we, and the whole, after the first night, we sat in
- 24:36my bedroom and at the house where I was living, and we just stared each other.
- 24:41And she's like, I'm never gonna sleep again.
- 24:47So anyway, but anyhow, so, and then this beautiful mentor, I just kept taking
- 24:51class after class after class and just learning as much as I could because that's
- 24:55who I had on the journey at the time.
- 24:58And by then, I'm in my twenties, I'm 21.
- 25:00I'm moving on in my life and.
- 25:03Astrology was always there.
- 25:05Numerology was a favorite from the time I was probably 15, I was doing numerology.
- 25:11I loved numbers and how they could share again, their symbols.
- 25:16And there was this beautiful language that somebody had decoded numerology.
- 25:22You probably know this better than I do, but I believe, you know, we,
- 25:25we can go back to the Greeks, we can go back to the Islamic Empire.
- 25:30Numerology has been around a very, very long
- 25:32Rupert Isaacson: time.
- 25:32Oh, it's, it's it's way older.
- 25:34All of these things that as far as we can trace them, go back to Sumaria.
- 25:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes, yes, of course.
- 25:42Who
- 25:42Rupert Isaacson: are, which is also where most of our mathematics comes from.
- 25:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 25:46Rupert Isaacson: And that's 6,000 years ago and when,
- 25:49you know, I was at university studying history and archeology.
- 25:52The accepted wisdom was that that was the first civilization.
- 25:55And I remember thinking along with a lot of other people, that seems awfully
- 26:00recent, you know, given that, you know, and then there were all these
- 26:05unanswered questions like, oh yeah.
- 26:06And we just like suddenly invented agriculture.
- 26:09Like, Hmm.
- 26:10You know, there, there seems to be some missing links here.
- 26:12And now of course they're finding like go Gobekli Tepi in Southeast
- 26:17Turkey, which is about 6,000 years.
- 26:21Earlier than Sumaria.
- 26:22And now they found another place in Indonesia whose name is so
- 26:25complex, I can never remember it, which seems to be older than that.
- 26:28And therefore what's going on, because you've got ice ages in between.
- 26:31And then of course you get into all kinds of theories and then
- 26:34the academics get very upset.
- 26:36But the fact is that now with ground penetrating radar and all sorts of other
- 26:41ways of doing archeology that are also not necessarily being seen through the
- 26:45institutional eyes of Juda Christianism or the British Empire or whatever
- 26:50other thing we're trying to prove.
- 26:52We seem to perhaps not have been the first such civilization here possibly.
- 26:58And there seem to be pauses and breaks and a slightly more complex story, which is
- 27:02more in line with how nature really goes.
- 27:05And does that mean that there's extra terrestrial stuff and all that stuff?
- 27:07We don't know.
- 27:08We don't know, but it's as likely as not.
- 27:10And so therefore, where does this all start?
- 27:12Probably earlier than Sumaria, but in terms of can we trace it back?
- 27:17That's about as far as we can actually get like something on a clay tablet, you know?
- 27:21Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 27:21That says, and
- 27:23Rupert Isaacson: if you do this, it will do that.
- 27:24Yeah.
- 27:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: It's amazing.
- 27:25So archeology was my first love, and I actually thought I was
- 27:29gonna study archeology in college.
- 27:31Mm.
- 27:31But then I went a different direction as life does
- 27:34Rupert Isaacson: ass job.
- 27:34You didn't because they're, they're a bit of a bunch of wankers, honestly.
- 27:37I was almost kicked out of university for, do you know
- 27:40why they wanted to kick me out?
- 27:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, I'd love to know.
- 27:42Rupert Isaacson: Well, one of the reasons there, there were a few reasons,
- 27:45but one of the reasons was I wrote an essay about a, an indus a a sort of
- 27:50early Iron age, no, mid late Iron Age culture that was in an area of Eastern
- 27:55Britain that was heavy iron making.
- 27:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 27:59Rupert Isaacson: Along the riverine.
- 28:01And that this became something that the Romans, when they invaded,
- 28:04targeted because it was an iron.
- 28:07And so it was sort of an early industrial thing.
- 28:10And so I drew a comparison between that and sort of a Iron
- 28:15Age black country, black country being like the early industrial
- 28:18revolution in 19th century England.
- 28:21And my professors just lost it, haul me into their office and
- 28:28kind of tore me a new asshole threatened me with kicking out.
- 28:32And I'm like, but lads, you're talking about metal work, slag
- 28:37heaps, pollution in the rivers, smog, potentially people dying of, you know,
- 28:45lung problems because of the smoke, because that, this seems to show up.
- 28:48Mm-hmm.
- 28:49The, the, the, the, you know, the skeletons and stuff that you did, the
- 28:52hair and whatever that you're digging up.
- 28:54And so how is it not actually a bit like that?
- 28:58And they just said, if you wanna stay, you better shut up.
- 29:01So I realized very, very early that weirdly archeology has had
- 29:07an orthodoxy and a, a liturgy that's not far from the religious.
- 29:17Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 29:18Rupert Isaacson: And that comes for all sorts of philosophical
- 29:22reasons, but it means that it needs to be revised every 20 years.
- 29:25Yeah, yeah.
- 29:26Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 29:26Yeah.
- 29:26Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 29:26Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, and you bring up an interesting
- 29:29point too, because I will say from various points of view, ha, have
- 29:33you read the Chalice and the Blade?
- 29:35Rupert Isaacson: No.
- 29:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: Have you read The Great Cosmic Mother?
- 29:38Rupert Isaacson: No.
- 29:39Sorry.
- 29:40Why's the exam tomorrow?
- 29:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: Put that on your reading, Les.
- 29:43Okay.
- 29:44These are, tell me about it.
- 29:45Anthropological texts.
- 29:46These are women based text and we're, and really looking at how the patriarchy
- 29:54really radically shifted the narrative.
- 29:57As far back as Sumeria.
- 29:59Oh yeah, for sure.
- 29:59You know, for, you gotta keep going back and back and back in time.
- 30:03Rupert Isaacson: Absolutely.
- 30:03Denise Elizabeth Byron: You know, one of the members of our horse community
- 30:06Sarah Barnes wrote a great book.
- 30:08She Who Rides Horses.
- 30:10I don't know if you've read that one.
- 30:11I
- 30:11Rupert Isaacson: do know it.
- 30:11And I've actually got it in my bedroom.
- 30:13She sent it to me.
- 30:14Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 30:15Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 30:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Another great look back at history.
- 30:18Rupert Isaacson: Exactly.
- 30:19Well, I've got something to say about that, but before I do for you
- 30:23listeners, remember we did say she's sort of the horse person's astrologer.
- 30:28We will get to the horses, don't worry.
- 30:31Yeah.
- 30:31One of the fun things about having, you know, I studied ancient history as
- 30:34well and I love the fact that when the Athenians got their empire going up
- 30:42through the Eastern Mediterranean above Turkey, they enter the Black Sea, they
- 30:46keep going and they end up in the Crimea.
- 30:49Right.
- 30:49That's on the top.
- 30:50And the steps of Ukraine and who's living there, of course.
- 30:54But horse people and what they would call Ians at that point, mounted
- 30:59arches, fierce warriors, also traders, and they start trading with these
- 31:04people for whatever they've got.
- 31:06Pelt, horses, amber, et cetera, furs, Fs, and what pops up in the
- 31:14mythology of Athens, the Amazons, and that there are these women up there.
- 31:21Who are fierce and ride horses.
- 31:23So what do they do?
- 31:25They say, oh, well our heroes, Herrick, Clea and thesis, what do they go up there?
- 31:29And they tame these horsewomen and they marry the queen and they,
- 31:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: right.
- 31:33Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 31:33They, they get them under the thumb.
- 31:35They never fucking got them under the thumb.
- 31:37They were terrified of them.
- 31:38And in fact when the archeology was being done in those areas digging up the grave
- 31:44mounds of these horse cultures, they were often finding these high status
- 31:50warriors covered in tattoos, buried with their horses, buried with their weapons.
- 31:53And because it's a slightly dry climate there, the, the skin often mummies and
- 31:59even though, you know, it's from the Bronze Age and more recent, DNA has shown
- 32:05that at least 50% of these high status tattooed warriors buried with there Yeah.
- 32:11Horses.
- 32:11And were guess what?
- 32:13Women?
- 32:14Yes.
- 32:14And they, they were high status military leaders.
- 32:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 32:18And,
- 32:19Rupert Isaacson: So you can imagine the Greeks going up there and going,
- 32:21whoa, listen lads, we can't let the ladies back in Athens see this.
- 32:25You know, they'll, they'll go fucking nuts.
- 32:26And they go wild.
- 32:27We, we had to come up with a couple of myths about, but
- 32:29no, they never tamed them.
- 32:31And it's very interesting that the horse cultures have always been to a large
- 32:37degree egalitarian, because once you are on a horse, it's got nothing to do
- 32:42with your physical size or strength.
- 32:43It's to do with your skills with the horse.
- 32:45And then your skills with the weapon on the horse.
- 32:48You could be five foot two, you could be six foot two.
- 32:49It wouldn't really make much difference, honestly.
- 32:52We know this, so, the horse is much stronger than either of the two monkeys.
- 32:56Big monkey, small monkey.
- 32:58Yeah.
- 32:58So, yeah, no absolutely with you and, and yes.
- 33:01Patriarchy couldn't handle it.
- 33:03So that,
- 33:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: Nope.
- 33:06Well, and I noticed you had a YouTube recently about one of the horse goddesses.
- 33:11Yeah.
- 33:11And yes, and when we think about, and you know, coming from a more Celtic origin
- 33:19from my ancestors and Viking origin, the women, the, the female goddesses,
- 33:26they were not to be trifled with.
- 33:28These were powerful,
- 33:30Rupert Isaacson: to be fair.
- 33:31Not normally the Greek ones as well.
- 33:32I mean, you know.
- 33:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah,
- 33:33Rupert Isaacson: exactly.
- 33:34The goddesses are always trouble.
- 33:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes, we are.
- 33:40Doesn't
- 33:41Rupert Isaacson: matter which pan,
- 33:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: let's just keep that in mind.
- 33:43It's
- 33:43Rupert Isaacson: true.
- 33:43You better keep your head down.
- 33:44Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, and, and we should talk about horses.
- 33:47I know we will.
- 33:48Yes.
- 33:49I promise.
- 33:49We'll get to the rest of the story, but
- 33:51Rupert Isaacson: yeah.
- 33:51How do you become, how is it that you are now?
- 33:53'cause that's sort of how I got to know you through Warwick.
- 33:55You are the sort of horseman psychic and the horseman's astrologer.
- 33:59Why, like, what's the evolution there?
- 34:01Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, that is an interesting, also an interesting story.
- 34:05I feel comfortable because people have shared this.
- 34:07Normally I would not speak about my clients, but I, I feel very comfortable
- 34:11because Warwick has already shared this.
- 34:13Robin's already shared this, and Tyler's already shared this the Schiller family.
- 34:17But when I was living in Santa Cruz, I had a business where by the time, you know,
- 34:23we fast forwarded now many, many years.
- 34:25Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 34:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: I had, I was doing astrology, numerology pretty regularly.
- 34:29That was the basis of my livelihood.
- 34:33Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 34:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: And so, a client brought Robin, they, we had
- 34:37a session for a particular reason for that, and then Robin came by
- 34:42herself, and then Robin brought, brought work, and Robin brought Tyler.
- 34:46Right.
- 34:46And so we had a little family going on there.
- 34:49And in the course of those sessions, I was able to share what I can see.
- 34:56And so the chart itself, astrology is very technical.
- 35:02I am not a technical astrologer.
- 35:04I can do technical astrology, but where my gift lies is being able to
- 35:08utilize it as a symbology that opens the portals to information and energy.
- 35:14So yes, I'm interpreting astrology that has a traditional meaning.
- 35:21But not unlike tarot cards for instance.
- 35:24You know, there's a traditional meaning for a tarot card, but really what
- 35:28the card is doing is it's asking you to connect with your own intuition.
- 35:32It's asking you to connect with your psyche, your higher self, your
- 35:36ancestors, depending on where you come from in the world, and let
- 35:40that information flow through you.
- 35:42So astrology charts allow me the opportunity to hear and see and feel.
- 35:50So with the Schillers particularly Warwick, I was
- 35:52able to share what I could see.
- 35:55Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 35:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: And from that moment, and I can't speak for him
- 36:01per se, but I know from what he has shared that he was able to craft what
- 36:08became the journey on podcast and then the journey on summits and then
- 36:16their new nonprofit foundation work.
- 36:21So that's how I came to be connected to the Schillers and the podcast.
- 36:29And, and this is very kind in the very first, very first podcast.
- 36:33He shares that, that's the origin story for where the podcast is.
- 36:37Okay.
- 36:37Rupert Isaacson: That's so interesting.
- 36:38I didn't know that.
- 36:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 36:40Okay.
- 36:40And so then later I was.
- 36:43What was I podcast number 99, agent 99.
- 36:47I was interviewed and we had a really great conversation and from that
- 36:52interview, my whole world got to be this fabulous, fabulous people who are
- 37:00not unlike me, like for the first time.
- 37:04'cause you asked about feeling alone.
- 37:07It's never really bothered me that there weren't a lot of people around that were
- 37:12seeing, feeling, sensing, doing astrology.
- 37:15I just would do it.
- 37:16It's just what I did.
- 37:18But living in Santa Cruz, you would think Santa Cruz, California, for those of you
- 37:21don't know, it's like the surfing capital.
- 37:23A pretty easygoing place.
- 37:25You would think I would find more people like me.
- 37:28I did, but it still wasn't a lot.
- 37:31And it's fascinating to me the minute I stepped into this horse world, and
- 37:36I, I can't say enough about this, the sensitivity of the people who I might
- 37:43even cry because this is so profound.
- 37:45The sensitivity of the people who listen to their animals, to their horses,
- 37:52their dogs, their cats, their chickens, their ducks is, is the sensitivity
- 37:57that I've carried my whole life.
- 38:00And we're the same.
- 38:02The difference is I've been able to strengthen a muscle over
- 38:06the course of my life that for some feels like a newer muscle.
- 38:12But he's been there the whole time.
- 38:14Anyone who is in your community, anyone who's in your community, anyone who's a,
- 38:20a horse person in the way that you are and the way that your people are understands
- 38:26how important it is to listen first.
- 38:29And that's the thing.
- 38:30Like Robin Warwick, Tyler, you know, we were, I started to
- 38:34realize these people are listening.
- 38:38They're not telling, they're listening and they're connecting and
- 38:44they're having conversation with.
- 38:46So that one podcast opened a door and I was very, very, very happy and feel
- 38:53very blessed to walk through that door.
- 38:55So that's how that happened.
- 38:58Yeah.
- 38:59Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 39:00So we're going to take that conversation in a moment into the equine realm because
- 39:09everyone I know is interested in this.
- 39:11However I want to still just go a little bit more with your chronology.
- 39:17So you are working with this, mentor who's doing forensic psychic work effectively.
- 39:24Yes.
- 39:24Right?
- 39:24Mm-hmm.
- 39:25And we know that this is a thing mm-hmm.
- 39:27And it's, it's interesting.
- 39:28Anyone who's rolling their eyes don't, it doesn't matter
- 39:31what country you're living in.
- 39:32Your big police departments all have a psychic forensic thing, and they all,
- 39:37they, they leave no stone unturned.
- 39:39And it's really interesting that, you know, people that you consider to be
- 39:42the most practical or the practical cops
- 39:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: mm-hmm.
- 39:45Rupert Isaacson: Will actually, because they are so professional, not neglect any
- 39:52angle that's possible to try to and sadly, of course, criminals do the same thing.
- 39:58They, they can use darker spiritual stuff as well.
- 40:01Mm-hmm.
- 40:01But don't for a moment think that that is not part of your local police
- 40:05department or, or at least your, it, it, it, we, we know that it is.
- 40:09So at what point do you say, okay, let's not what I want to do, and then you say,
- 40:14but there is something I want to do.
- 40:16What is that thing?
- 40:17Or do you actually try your hand in the mainstream for a bit and resist it?
- 40:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, I was definitely, you know, I was needing
- 40:24to get a job, so I worked in.
- 40:27I had many jobs, you know?
- 40:28Mm-hmm.
- 40:28I did my, I did my part, and I finally landed on teaching, partly
- 40:33because remember when I was saying that when I couldn't read and then
- 40:36the key unlocked and I was able to read I knew at some point I always
- 40:41loved teaching swimming lessons.
- 40:43That was my favorite job ever in college, was teaching kids how to swim.
- 40:49I mean, I feel like that's what I'm doing now.
- 40:52It's just a different, it's just a different set of tools.
- 40:54Yeah.
- 40:54I, I can do that, but it's the same thing.
- 40:56So in my twenties, I was introduced to another psychic, and she was doing
- 41:03more past life regression readings, talking to people on the other
- 41:07side, which the other one did too.
- 41:09But this was, she was more
- 41:11she was doing it differently.
- 41:13She wasn't working for police departments, let's just say that.
- 41:15So it had a different feel to it.
- 41:16It wasn't, it wasn't as I mean, it was serious, but it, it just
- 41:20didn't have the same flavor.
- 41:21So I started working with her and learned so much that I was practicing in all
- 41:27my twenties I was doing, I, I mean, at that point, people were coming in,
- 41:33in the middle of the night waking me up and saying things like, please pray
- 41:38for me and contact my mother-in-law.
- 41:44Okay.
- 41:45Okay.
- 41:47So I had all kinds of experiences in my twenties.
- 41:50I needed to understand what was happening, so I found teachers to
- 41:53help me understand what was happening.
- 41:55The astrology was not a thing.
- 41:59It wasn't until my thirties that astrology, I just, you know, again,
- 42:04computers made it a lot easier.
- 42:06Mm-hmm.
- 42:06I'll be honest, I didn't really wanna do the charts the way my mother did them.
- 42:11Mm-hmm.
- 42:11It takes a lot of time and effort.
- 42:13But anyways I can remember when Astro dest showed up on the internet.
- 42:18Well, the internet showed up, right?
- 42:20Mm-hmm.
- 42:20And then we had all of this new stuff that we could learn, and
- 42:24so I just started learning even more astrology at that point.
- 42:27So I'm in my thirties at that point and practicing on anyone
- 42:32who would let me practice.
- 42:35And I had left teaching, I was coaching doing life coaching, and I found that
- 42:40my clientele seemed to all be artists.
- 42:43And I also started casting their charts with their permission and realized
- 42:48that we could go a lot further, a lot faster if we started with the chart.
- 42:55And so that's how that became a thing.
- 42:58And so that was 30 years ago and have just built on that since.
- 43:02Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 43:03And then why would, I've got three or four questions I've written down
- 43:06here, which we get need to get to.
- 43:07But another question has come a digression.
- 43:09So why would the Schillers, as dedicated horse people.
- 43:13Okay.
- 43:13You're all living in that part of California.
- 43:15I get it.
- 43:16And sometimes people want to go and see a psychic or an astrologer.
- 43:19I get it.
- 43:20But I presume that there were other witchy people in the horse community there.
- 43:26In fact, I know that rock.
- 43:27'cause I've got friends who are and we probably have a mutual friend there.
- 43:31Do you know Jill Cohen?
- 43:32Denise Elizabeth Byron: I don't know personally, but yes.
- 43:33Yes.
- 43:33Rupert Isaacson: Wonderful body.
- 43:34Wonderful human.
- 43:35You know, Warwick certainly knows Aaron, you know, but we, let's just
- 43:39say there's a very conscious community there, which also includes horse people.
- 43:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 43:42Rupert Isaacson: So why do you think that they knocked on your door?
- 43:45What, what do you think was the why you?
- 43:47Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, we, we have to say it's Robin, you know, Robin
- 43:50came with a, a friend for, and so then I guess it just, you know, I think
- 43:56Rupert Isaacson: is it pure coincidence or is it some other connection?
- 43:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: That's a great question.
- 44:01It's, nothing's ever pure coincidence.
- 44:03We, we
- 44:03Rupert Isaacson: understand this, right?
- 44:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 44:04We just have to say, I think that what, what has happened, probably,
- 44:11I like to make things practical.
- 44:13Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 44:14Denise Elizabeth Byron: And I think that practicality is an
- 44:17important piece of especially if you're talking about business.
- 44:20If you're talking about your livelihood or you're talking about
- 44:22your purpose, how can it be practical?
- 44:25That's my whole goal, is to bring the practical into the spiritual.
- 44:30Or bring the, yeah, bring the practical into the spiritual.
- 44:33I, I count my lucky stars, no pun intended.
- 44:36But I do think that I'll, I'll be honest, this, this is me if Tyler listens to
- 44:44this, Tyler, this is me responding to you at the San Antonio Summit.
- 44:49That's all I'm gonna say.
- 44:51I think the past life connection goes to Tyler.
- 44:54I think I somehow am connected to him, and then he just happened to
- 44:58be the, the, the child of these two.
- 45:01Rupert Isaacson: Got it.
- 45:02Denise Elizabeth Byron: Wonderful.
- 45:02Rupert Isaacson: That'll do.
- 45:03That's a good answer.
- 45:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 45:04Rupert Isaacson: And that actually leads me to my other question.
- 45:07Mm-hmm.
- 45:08So, past lives, it's interesting for me because I obviously have spent a
- 45:11lot of time with healers and shamans
- 45:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: mm-hmm.
- 45:16Rupert Isaacson: In indigenous areas, and not just as an observer, but as you know,
- 45:22it's been my life and my son and my, the healings of my family and all of this.
- 45:27And the Bushman, for example, who I spent most spent most of my time with.
- 45:32So they don't talk about past lives, they talk about ancestors, and it seems to
- 45:36past life things seems to be something which people talk about largely in
- 45:40Western, sometimes in Eastern, but by no means in all eastern traditions.
- 45:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 45:45Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 45:45As you know, if you followed any of my work, I'm an autism dad and we have
- 45:50a whole career before this podcast in helping people with neurodivergence,
- 45:57either who are professionals in the field.
- 46:00Are you a therapist?
- 46:01Are you a caregiver?
- 46:02Are you a parent?
- 46:04Or are you somebody with neurodivergence?
- 46:07When my son, Rowan, was diagnosed with autism in 2004,
- 46:12I really didn't know what to do.
- 46:14So I reached out for mentorship, and I found it through an amazing adult
- 46:20autistic woman who's very famous, Dr.
- 46:22Temple Grandin.
- 46:24And she told me what to do.
- 46:25And it's been working so amazingly for the last 20 years.
- 46:30That not only is my son basically independent, but we've helped
- 46:35countless, countless thousands of others reach the same goal.
- 46:39Working in schools, working at home, working in therapy settings.
- 46:44If you would like to learn this cutting edge, neuroscience backed
- 46:48approach, it's called Movement Method.
- 46:51You can learn it online, you can learn it very, very simply.
- 46:54It's almost laughably simple.
- 46:57The important thing is to begin.
- 47:01Let yourself be mentored as I was by Dr.
- 47:04Grandin and see what results can follow.
- 47:09Go to this website, newtrailslearning.
- 47:14com Sign up as a gold member.
- 47:17Take the online movement method course.
- 47:20It's in 40 countries.
- 47:22Let us know how it goes for you.
- 47:24We really want to know.
- 47:25We really want to help people like me, people like you, out there
- 47:30live their best life, to live free, ride free, see what happens.
- 47:34So why do some people talk about past lives and others not?
- 47:39And does every human have past lives or only some.
- 47:44And why do some cultures not seem to th have it in their experience?
- 47:49And others seem to have it very much in their experience.
- 47:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: Such a great question.
- 47:53Again, I love these questions.
- 47:55This is fun.
- 47:56I can't, I cannot claim to be an expert on past lives, but I can
- 48:00put you in touch with one later.
- 48:02I'll give you her name.
- 48:03Mm, she's awesome.
- 48:04I think you would enjoy talking with her.
- 48:06But what I will say from my own experience and from my own learning, I think,
- 48:12and this is, this is not shared by a lot of people who do psychic reading.
- 48:17So what I'm about to say is my own, this is my own experience.
- 48:20I believe that a lot of times we reincarnate past lives within our
- 48:27ancestry and it's not always true.
- 48:30And for sure it's not always true.
- 48:32But I think that sometimes we do.
- 48:34So your question about why do some cultures look at past lives and
- 48:40some don't, I wonder if the ones that are tr, and this again, it's a
- 48:44question, I wonder if the ones that are truly connected to the ancestral
- 48:48realm that it's all built in there.
- 48:51We become, we are our ancestors.
- 48:54You know, is this, is that thought?
- 48:56I know that in there's a Hawaiian spiritual tradition that
- 49:00I've studied for a long time.
- 49:02The Akua, that word means.
- 49:07Ancestors.
- 49:09It also means our higher self and it's our wisdom.
- 49:14And in that spiritual tradition, they don't talk
- 49:20about past lives so much either.
- 49:21That's not a thing.
- 49:23So it makes me just, I'm having this conversation with you in real
- 49:27time and just really going into the curiosity myself of why this is, and
- 49:32again, you could talk to a past life expert and maybe there's a different
- 49:36understanding, but my understanding is for myself that if I go back and look
- 49:42at the lifetimes that I sense or feel that have moved through in some form,
- 49:49they're there to teach me something.
- 49:52And again, what is the practical purpose for getting in touch with a past life?
- 49:56A lot of it is healing.
- 49:58And if that healing can be sent to my ancestral line, if it can be
- 50:03moved through, I You've heard of family constellation work, right?
- 50:07Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 50:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 50:08So if you can move the, the healing through the line, then it doesn't really
- 50:14matter if it's a past life or not, but it's something that is allowing
- 50:17me to have healing, and it allows me to understand something else about my
- 50:21soul's development, which then takes us into the question about what is
- 50:25a soul and what does it really mean?
- 50:28To be this soul that keeps coming back.
- 50:31And are there souls that have never been here on earth before?
- 50:35Probably, I would imagine, you know, we, we always have a good laugh because
- 50:40we, we think about, I have this story, I have to tell you, we have these thoughts.
- 50:45Like, okay, so who were you in a past life?
- 50:48And everybody wants to be somebody really important in a past life,
- 50:52Rupert Isaacson: you know?
- 50:52Well, that's, that's the thing that always Yeah.
- 50:53Makes one raise an eyebrow.
- 50:55People seldom say, well, I used to clean the toilets in McDonald's in like 1964.
- 51:00Right.
- 51:01You know, they, they don't say that.
- 51:03Well, I
- 51:03Denise Elizabeth Byron: know, and that's the thing.
- 51:05So when I've done my past life work in the form that I've done it
- 51:10always a camel boy, never a pharaoh.
- 51:13Can I just say that?
- 51:14Yeah.
- 51:14Always a camel boy, never a pharaoh.
- 51:17So that having an understanding of what is the purpose of looking at our past
- 51:22lives, a lot of it is to heal something systemic that may have followed us.
- 51:26Again, you have to really be okay with reincarnation, which then takes us
- 51:31back to, again, as you said, obviously there's clearly many, many, many,
- 51:35many, many people throughout history who have talked about reincarnation.
- 51:40But you have my first you know, my first introduction is through Edgar Casey.
- 51:45So obviously that idea of the soul, the, the many, the many lives.
- 51:49And then remember, Dr.
- 51:51Brian Weiss, who did the mini lives mini masters.
- 51:54Did you ever read that book?
- 51:55Rupert Isaacson: No, but I've heard of it.
- 51:56Yeah.
- 51:57Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 51:57So that was another thing that came along during the times
- 52:00when I'm learning all of this.
- 52:03And I recently had a past life regression just very recently in the last month.
- 52:08And I was really hoping, I was like, oh, I wanna go get in touch with one
- 52:16of my Celtic lifetimes, 'cause I know I must have lived and blah, blah, blah.
- 52:20You know?
- 52:21So, no, no, that wasn't it.
- 52:23The lifetime that came through was vastly different than
- 52:28anything I would've expected.
- 52:30And the question was why, you know, why this lifetime,
- 52:34why was this coming through?
- 52:35And really, I realized even while I'm going through the regression, that the
- 52:42truth of it was I needed to see a simple lifetime connected to the earth, to the
- 52:47stars, and I needed to see and feel death.
- 52:53Here we come back around to that, 'cause we're gonna talk about your near death
- 52:57thing that you've mentioned earlier.
- 52:59I've got it on my notes, so
- 53:02Rupert Isaacson: sure.
- 53:02I can talk about it.
- 53:04But go on.
- 53:04Yeah.
- 53:04Okay.
- 53:05Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 53:05So anyway, so again, what is the practical, I, you know, a lot of
- 53:08people in my life have passed.
- 53:10A lot of really close people have passed recently.
- 53:12Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 53:13Denise Elizabeth Byron: And so.
- 53:15I needed to have a, I needed to have that regression to
- 53:19show me something about death.
- 53:21Mm-hmm.
- 53:22From my perspective.
- 53:23And it was great.
- 53:25And I mean, for me, whether the story, the story is true or
- 53:29not, it doesn't really matter.
- 53:31It was beautiful and it was healing, and I don't need to prove it.
- 53:36And I think that's something I wanna speak to actually, if that's all right.
- 53:41I just, I hear so many people in, in the community say, I
- 53:45need to prove my intuition.
- 53:47And you know what?
- 53:48No, you don't.
- 53:49That kind of takes the wrong path.
- 53:52You, you're not here to prove your intuition.
- 53:55You're here to deepen into it.
- 53:57Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 53:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: That is, and you know this, I'm not,
- 54:00Rupert Isaacson: well, I mean, that's interesting.
- 54:01That's, there's the horse connection right there, because what do horses
- 54:04do, but facilitate that for people,
- 54:06Denise Elizabeth Byron: right.
- 54:08Rupert Isaacson: More so than just about any other animal.
- 54:10Because why
- 54:11Denise Elizabeth Byron: you say more about that?
- 54:13Say more about that.
- 54:13Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 54:14Well, horses do a number of things for us that other animals don't.
- 54:17Every animal has its special thing.
- 54:19And a lot of their special things are completely, of course, independent of us.
- 54:23We just see it through our own monkey lens.
- 54:26But when we are looking at the monkey, through the monkey lens
- 54:28towards horses what do horses do?
- 54:32They carry us.
- 54:34Okay.
- 54:34Now, they're not the only animal that carries us.
- 54:36You can ride camel's, elephants, donkeys, reindeer.
- 54:40But.
- 54:41My sis, my sister, my daughter recently wrote a sheet.
- 54:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Who might've been your sister in the past?
- 54:46Rupert Isaacson: It might've been my sister, actually.
- 54:47I slightly suspect she was.
- 54:48And
- 54:49Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah,
- 54:49Rupert Isaacson: I slightly suspect she's actually my older sister.
- 54:51Yeah.
- 54:51But she's too, too wise.
- 54:54Too clever.
- 54:55But horses what they can do, when you ride the other animals,
- 55:00you ride in two dimensions.
- 55:01You ride f forwards or in a curve, maybe you could back up.
- 55:07With horses you can ride in three dimensions.
- 55:09So that's why they became the livestock and battle and dance and sport and
- 55:17hunting transporter of humans of choice.
- 55:22But because they can move in three dimensions, they're much
- 55:25more complex and dangerous.
- 55:28Once you add that other dimension of movement, it becomes more dangerous.
- 55:31Horses are dangerous, but they're gentle.
- 55:34And so very, very rarely do they want to hurt us.
- 55:38But danger's always present when you're with a horse.
- 55:41So, but they will take you into another dimension and they will do it selflessly.
- 55:48And they will do it against their own intuitions.
- 55:52Like that cavalry charge, the horse might blow.
- 55:54I think I'm probably gonna die, you know?
- 55:55But they'll do it.
- 55:57So there is a kind of, they represent to us.
- 56:02A higher self for selflessness.
- 56:04They carry us.
- 56:05They also represent strength, freedom, beauty, speed.
- 56:08We are bigger, stronger, more powerful, more beautiful when we're on a horse.
- 56:12We just go back to being a monkey again when we get off the horse.
- 56:15So sometimes we can sadly come to the conclusion that the beauty and power
- 56:19that the horse lends us is our own and not something that is lent and that
- 56:24can turn us into utter ars assholes.
- 56:26And a lot of horse people, myself included, have gone through a time
- 56:29in their life of arrogance and then you've had to lose it at some
- 56:33point if you want to get to the next stage of horsemanship, right?
- 56:37And it's almost like a necessary thing.
- 56:39And actually, to be honest, horses kind of can show that up with that sort of ego
- 56:42as well, a little bit amongst each other.
- 56:44That's not a million miles away in some of the dynamics.
- 56:49So there's these kinship similarities and, but at the same time, we
- 56:53are there, but predator and have been for an awful long time.
- 56:57If you look at the you know, cave paintings in LaSow or Chave or
- 57:02any of the, the really old ones from second Ice age back or so.
- 57:08Horses, horses, horses, horses, horses.
- 57:10We're not riding them, we we're hunting them.
- 57:11But we, we have a real fascination with them.
- 57:14And then when we do start riding them, of course they transport us massively.
- 57:19But unfortunately we can commit acts of great criminal psych,
- 57:23psychotic, horrible genocides on them, or we can use them to heal.
- 57:29The choice is up to us.
- 57:31The horse will lend us his power either way.
- 57:34So horses really do have this occult.
- 57:36They now so does a wolf, so does a dog.
- 57:38So does a cat, so does a, you know, there's no being on the
- 57:41planet that does not have its, you know, occult other world.
- 57:44That is true, but it's specifically with horses.
- 57:48I think it's, it seems to me to be this.
- 57:51And you trust your life then to the animal.
- 57:54Mm-hmm.
- 57:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes,
- 57:54Rupert Isaacson: you are.
- 57:55He will carry you on his back with this ever present danger.
- 57:58And then you have to open yourself.
- 58:00When you, when you sit on a horse, you, as you know, the human body
- 58:05when it feels danger, wants to curl in, grab the branch and hold onto
- 58:09the branch, protect the organs.
- 58:11You cannot do that on a horse in movement.
- 58:13You will fall off.
- 58:14So you have to learn to go against your instinct and open and balance.
- 58:18So it teaches us this.
- 58:19And of course all of the old masters who wrote books about
- 58:25three dimensional horsemanship, which you could call dressage.
- 58:28For example, XON, the Greek.
- 58:31It seems that maybe Kali in Babylon.
- 58:34About a thousand years before him was talking about this.
- 58:37And certainly later, people like Elle and, and others, what they all say is,
- 58:44if you're going to ride this animal and train this type of animal who is
- 58:50so sensitive and so dangerous and so vulnerable to that level, you have
- 58:56to learn to master your emotions.
- 58:58So it's a very, very good exercise.
- 59:00Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 59:01Rupert Isaacson: Particularly for hotheaded young people mm-hmm.
- 59:05To do this because it can turn them into courtiers ambassadors,
- 59:09good rulers, good administrators, people that can be quite wise.
- 59:13So I think for all of these reasons, you know, horses and, and this is just,
- 59:17you know, peeling back one layer really.
- 59:20That's my long-winded answer, sorry.
- 59:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: No, I love it.
- 59:23And I don't have your experiences at all and limited experiences with
- 59:28horses in general, but one thing that has always struck me, I was just
- 59:33Rupert Isaacson: and your point, by the way, about the deep listening.
- 59:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 59:36You
- 59:36Rupert Isaacson: said interrupting her and not listening is absolutely true.
- 59:40That because if you don't, you can die.
- 59:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, yes.
- 59:45Okay.
- 59:46Rupert Isaacson: So that kind of really, you have to listen deeply.
- 59:47Yes.
- 59:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: This is good.
- 59:48I actually was actually where I was headed in a way.
- 59:52I was with a horse recently, and every time I'm with a horse, here's
- 59:56what I notice as someone who's on the ground, who's not on a horse, my
- 1:00:01heart and their heart are lined up.
- 1:00:05Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:06Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: We're right here.
- 1:00:09Rupert Isaacson: That's true.
- 1:00:10Denise Elizabeth Byron: And there is no other animal that
- 1:00:12I have been in contact with.
- 1:00:15Rupert Isaacson: Well, I suppose a lot.
- 1:00:16Cows, elephants.
- 1:00:17Yeah.
- 1:00:17Well,
- 1:00:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: I, as I say,
- 1:00:18Rupert Isaacson: stand on the ground with them.
- 1:00:19You are, you are, you are within a heart field.
- 1:00:21Yes.
- 1:00:21Yes.
- 1:00:21But that doesn't take away from what you are talking about.
- 1:00:25No,
- 1:00:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: no.
- 1:00:25But I think for me, because again, cows, I like cows too, actually.
- 1:00:29Mm.
- 1:00:29I haven't been around a lot of cows, but I just find them fascinating to talk to.
- 1:00:34But this, this heart energy, that's what I noticed is that
- 1:00:38I could feel within myself.
- 1:00:41Their hearts are, yes.
- 1:00:42I don't an anatomically, I don't know if they're big.
- 1:00:45I don't know how big they are, but
- 1:00:46Rupert Isaacson: they're, they're much bigger than ours.
- 1:00:47They have,
- 1:00:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: have to be
- 1:00:49Rupert Isaacson: because they're running machines.
- 1:00:51Makes sense.
- 1:00:51So their hearts, hearts and their lungs makes Right.
- 1:00:52Are huge.
- 1:00:53Yeah.
- 1:00:53Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:00:54So I'm sitting receiving this energy at a heart level.
- 1:00:58There's not much I can do except let go of any fear.
- 1:01:01But be wise, like you said, you have to be smart and conscious and staying present.
- 1:01:07But to open up.
- 1:01:08Yeah.
- 1:01:09And allow that.
- 1:01:10Ugh, it's just profound.
- 1:01:12Yeah.
- 1:01:12So that's my experience is this
- 1:01:14Rupert Isaacson: one.
- 1:01:14Absolutely.
- 1:01:14No, absolutely.
- 1:01:15And you know, the people at the HeartMath Institute in Northern
- 1:01:18California would corroborate and put science to what you say.
- 1:01:22And interestingly, even as far back as the early nineties, there was this really
- 1:01:27interesting study done at the University of Castle in Germany of all places.
- 1:01:32Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:32You can imagine the Germans view, well, you know, measure the
- 1:01:35Denise Elizabeth Byron: yes.
- 1:01:36Rupert Isaacson: The measuring you think of heart, that's not a very
- 1:01:38particularly German thing to do.
- 1:01:39And I've lived in Germany and I've actually lived in Hessan where Castle
- 1:01:42is, so I was quite surprised that
- 1:01:44Denise Elizabeth Byron: yes,
- 1:01:44Rupert Isaacson: that was what they came up with, but good on them.
- 1:01:47And they found that hearts throw out all hearts throw out photons light
- 1:01:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:01:55Rupert Isaacson: To quite a large radius.
- 1:01:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:58Rupert Isaacson: And of course, when we're in fear that radius gets much less.
- 1:02:03But when we are in a state of love and they measured this by make, putting
- 1:02:10people in situations where they felt nice and were feeling loving towards
- 1:02:13someone imagined or somebody in the room or whatever, and they, they
- 1:02:17could measure the length that the photons went and they went really far.
- 1:02:24I can't off the top of my head say what, you know, where they
- 1:02:27stop being able to measure them.
- 1:02:28Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:02:28There's a field
- 1:02:29Rupert Isaacson: they stop.
- 1:02:29Being able to measure them at that point doesn't mean
- 1:02:32Denise Elizabeth Byron: Right.
- 1:02:32Rupert Isaacson: That they, so, and then.
- 1:02:34Interdimensionally, presumably.
- 1:02:36And of course, what, what is light, but love because what is anything but love?
- 1:02:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Right,
- 1:02:42Rupert Isaacson: right.
- 1:02:43And what is the heart anyway?
- 1:02:44Well, we know.
- 1:02:44So yes, I, I absolutely agree with you.
- 1:02:47If you're standing next to a horse and you focus on love,
- 1:02:56things are gonna go well.
- 1:02:57And of course you could say, well, that's anything.
- 1:03:00Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:03:01Is it?
- 1:03:01But it, but it's real.
- 1:03:02This is a real thing.
- 1:03:04It's measurable.
- 1:03:05And I have had the profound good fortune to work with
- 1:03:09Kansas Carradine, who combines
- 1:03:11Rupert Isaacson: excellent human.
- 1:03:12Yeah.
- 1:03:12Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:03:13And, and just witnessing her, and she's done some work with me online
- 1:03:19that we've done with HeartMath.
- 1:03:21But I know her combination of HeartMath and working with
- 1:03:25horses is really profound.
- 1:03:28Rupert Isaacson: Absolutely.
- 1:03:29And everybody's listening.
- 1:03:30Go check out Kansas, Karen.
- 1:03:32I did a conversation with her.
- 1:03:34Warwick did a conversation with her, but go to circus cowgirl.com.
- 1:03:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:03:39Rupert Isaacson: Check her out and consult with her.
- 1:03:42She's,
- 1:03:43Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah.
- 1:03:43It's, and again, that, that real field of energy, it is
- 1:03:47measurable, just as you were saying.
- 1:03:49It's profound.
- 1:03:50But I guess from my experience, just feeling it, oh, it's just amazing.
- 1:03:56Rupert Isaacson: So I'm wonder back to charts.
- 1:03:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: Charts.
- 1:04:00Okay.
- 1:04:00Symbol,
- 1:04:01Rupert Isaacson: symbol charts
- 1:04:01Denise Elizabeth Byron: and horses.
- 1:04:03Do we want,
- 1:04:04Rupert Isaacson: well what, what is a chart but a measure?
- 1:04:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:04:08Rupert Isaacson: What is a tarot card, but a symbol, a set of symbols
- 1:04:12that helps to measure or interpret what are meters and like photon,
- 1:04:17photo, voltaic measure, you know?
- 1:04:19Yeah.
- 1:04:21They're all attempts to measure.
- 1:04:24And you could say, well, the ones that are not empirical can't be real.
- 1:04:27But if that's true, then there would be no irrational side to life.
- 1:04:34And we know that there is, we know that 50% of life is rational,
- 1:04:3750% of life is irrational.
- 1:04:39That is just how it is.
- 1:04:40Doctors with bad bedside manners kill their patients and doctors
- 1:04:44with great bedside manners who didn't do so well at medical school,
- 1:04:46their patients tend to get better.
- 1:04:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: That's great.
- 1:04:48Rupert Isaacson: We can't measure this, but Yeah.
- 1:04:50But maybe we can, we can someday.
- 1:04:52Interestingly actually, my, my own uncle who was an eminent pathologist at
- 1:04:57London University and a man who would not be at all afraid to mock you at
- 1:05:06the dinner table if you thought that when we made the Horse boy movie and we
- 1:05:12had a little private showing of it to family, and he came and I thought, oh,
- 1:05:16he's gonna take a big shit all over me.
- 1:05:18So I went up to him at the end.
- 1:05:22And I opened an imaginary umbrella.
- 1:05:24Oh.
- 1:05:25And I got under it, and I said, now's your time, uncle Peter.
- 1:05:28Take a shit.
- 1:05:28Go on, surfs up.
- 1:05:30Give it, give it both barrels, you know, let, let's, let's have it.
- 1:05:33Yeah.
- 1:05:33And he said, actually, ruper, this time I'm not gonna take a shit.
- 1:05:35And I said, that's unlike you.
- 1:05:37Why would you not?
- 1:05:39And he said, well, two things.
- 1:05:40One is, remember, this is 20 years ago almost.
- 1:05:42You, you are saying that autism can actually be kind of a good thing.
- 1:05:46Well, that's kind of interesting actually.
- 1:05:48You know, haven't seen, looked at it that way before.
- 1:05:50That has, you know, that bears investigation.
- 1:05:52And he said, but the second thing is you've drawn attention to
- 1:05:57the irrational side of medicine.
- 1:05:59And I said, what?
- 1:05:59What do you mean?
- 1:06:00He said, well, I'm a pathologist.
- 1:06:02And so what you're looking at is probably the placebo effect.
- 1:06:05And I said, oh, he said, don't get me wrong.
- 1:06:07That's no disrespect.
- 1:06:08He said, Rupert, most people misunderstand the placebo effect.
- 1:06:11Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:06:12Rupert Isaacson: Right?
- 1:06:12They'll dismiss something, say, oh, that's just the placebo effect.
- 1:06:15Meaning they fundamentally don't understand what the placebo effect is.
- 1:06:18He said, all of modern medicine, all of allopathic drug based medicine
- 1:06:24relies upon this irrational thing.
- 1:06:27Because you have a drug trial, you have control groups.
- 1:06:31One of the control groups does not get the drug.
- 1:06:33It gets a placebo.
- 1:06:35And it's not until in multiple trials.
- 1:06:39The drug makes more people better than the placebo, that it can go on the market.
- 1:06:45And these people that get the placebo don't just like
- 1:06:48think they get better and die.
- 1:06:49Two weeks later they get better and they usually get better, more than the drug.
- 1:06:56And then they have to keep bringing the drug back to the drawing board
- 1:06:58until it, and he said, nobody can explain why this is Rupert.
- 1:07:02And so is it, is it possible that why what you are, you know, experiencing
- 1:07:07with these shamans is a technology of harnessing that which is, goes back to
- 1:07:12the roots of what it means to be a human.
- 1:07:14And that perhaps one day science will catch up with it and just gonna,
- 1:07:20I'm, I'm astonished Uncle Peter.
- 1:07:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: I bet you were.
- 1:07:23Yeah.
- 1:07:23Yeah.
- 1:07:24That's amazing.
- 1:07:25You know, and I think any really good scientist is mystical.
- 1:07:29Rupert Isaacson: Yes.
- 1:07:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: And when you really talk to scientists and they have
- 1:07:34to stay curious, science isn't just about the facts that already are in existence.
- 1:07:40Science are, is about what else can we learn?
- 1:07:44Rupert Isaacson: Exactly.
- 1:07:45If you're a good scientist.
- 1:07:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: If you're a good scientist,
- 1:07:47Rupert Isaacson: right?
- 1:07:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:07:48Yeah.
- 1:07:49Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:07:49So I have a question for you back to horses.
- 1:07:51So now that through Warwick and so on, so many of the people that
- 1:07:55come to see you are horse people.
- 1:07:57I presume they're often coming with questions about their horses and
- 1:08:01questions about their relationships with their horses and so on.
- 1:08:04No.
- 1:08:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: Sometimes.
- 1:08:04Not all the time.
- 1:08:05Sometimes it's about them and how they can actually be with their horses better.
- 1:08:10How they can,
- 1:08:11Rupert Isaacson: okay, well that, that's sort of what I mean, really.
- 1:08:13Yeah.
- 1:08:13Yeah.
- 1:08:13Can you give me, there must be patterns that emerge.
- 1:08:17What are the sort of patterns of the questions that tend to be asked
- 1:08:20to you, and what are some of the insights that come through you?
- 1:08:25Because one things that's cool about you is you, because you're
- 1:08:27not horsey, you're not coming with a pre, you know, horse people.
- 1:08:30We, we are all so opinionated and we all think we're right and you know this.
- 1:08:35And so it's very hard for us to look through a neutral lens.
- 1:08:39But you can, 'cause you're not horsey.
- 1:08:40So what are the main questions that people come with and Yeah.
- 1:08:44And, and what comes through for you?
- 1:08:46That's
- 1:08:47Denise Elizabeth Byron: a great, that's a great question.
- 1:08:48Also, I think a lot of times people really want to deep, so there's,
- 1:08:55there's a couple of categories.
- 1:08:56There's those that come because they want to deepen their own intuitive ability so
- 1:09:01they can listen to their horses better.
- 1:09:04So we call that animal communication.
- 1:09:06That's a general term used.
- 1:09:09My job as an astrologer is looking at a chart and saying, well, from this
- 1:09:15na perspective of where your planet's.
- 1:09:18Started off with when you were born, here are the gifts that you are
- 1:09:22carrying and you can develop, and if that is something you want to do more
- 1:09:27of, here's how you can get there.
- 1:09:29Here's your trajectory of deepening.
- 1:09:32In most of the time, I just have to say this, most of the time
- 1:09:36people are already doing it.
- 1:09:38They just maybe just need somebody else to say, yes, you, this is real.
- 1:09:44You're not making this up.
- 1:09:45And I can look at a chart and say like, we're the same age group,
- 1:09:50so, our Neptune is in Scorpio.
- 1:09:52I can look at a Neptune in Scorpio and say, generally, generally
- 1:09:57speaking, Neptune and Scorpio people have access to a tremendous
- 1:10:02amount of that other realm type of.
- 1:10:06Intuition or connection to your interest and, and willingness to dive into what
- 1:10:13we're diving into today and what you've been diving into your whole life.
- 1:10:17It isn't just from the Neptune and Scorpio, that's just one
- 1:10:20particular way I can look for it.
- 1:10:22I can look at where Pluto is in a chart.
- 1:10:25So I'm helping people understand themselves and understand their evolution
- 1:10:29as a soul, which then helps them relax, I hope, into being themselves and opening
- 1:10:38up to their natural gifts, which just like you and I've been talking about,
- 1:10:42most people are naturally intuitive.
- 1:10:45I, I can't, I, I would like to say all people are naturally intuitive
- 1:10:49Rupert Isaacson: in my experience.
- 1:10:49I think all
- 1:10:50Denise Elizabeth Byron: people, yeah.
- 1:10:50I mean, and that it's
- 1:10:51Rupert Isaacson: in
- 1:10:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: our species.
- 1:10:52Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:10:53Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:10:53I mean, whether we shut it down or don't shut it down or develop it.
- 1:10:57So a lot of people will show up for that, some people.
- 1:11:01Another, another level of conversation very often is I'm doing this
- 1:11:07healing modality with horses.
- 1:11:09How can I leave my regular job?
- 1:11:13Start my work in this realm.
- 1:11:16So, because of my background, which we're not gonna go into all the details,
- 1:11:20but other jobs that I've done and other other parts of my life, I love looking
- 1:11:25at people's paths of livelihood and paths of soul work and paths of devotion.
- 1:11:32And then if there's a way to connect our passion and what we
- 1:11:36love with a livelihood, then let's do, and it, that's another, that's
- 1:11:43nuancing a whole different way.
- 1:11:45It also involves very much honoring and listening to a more spiritually
- 1:11:52supported path maybe than a more materially supported path.
- 1:11:57Although sometimes those two don't go, go together obviously, but there is,
- 1:12:02there's so many conversations that I have and I love it because each person
- 1:12:08to a person, this just has always just made me feel, I don't even know, it just
- 1:12:14blows my mind, I guess, to a person.
- 1:12:16Every horse person I have ever worked with goes back, listens to their
- 1:12:21recordings, takes notes, and wants to deepen their evolution of their soul.
- 1:12:27They want to become better people.
- 1:12:29They want to become better in relationship with their horses.
- 1:12:33And they're friends and family too.
- 1:12:35But you know,
- 1:12:36Rupert Isaacson: but mostly the horses.
- 1:12:37Denise Elizabeth Byron: It's the horses.
- 1:12:39You know, it's a nice side product, you know, side, side benefit that you get to
- 1:12:42be better at relationships in general.
- 1:12:45But it is that relationship and I always bring it back to self.
- 1:12:48And I think people are really hard on themselves.
- 1:12:52And like I was saying before, when we're really hard on ourselves or, or
- 1:12:56we have too much expectation, we're gonna shut down that intuitive side.
- 1:13:01It's the listening, it's the open.
- 1:13:03It's like you were saying with the heart, when you're on the horse, you're, you're
- 1:13:07kind of forced into this openness that you
- 1:13:11Rupert Isaacson: have to go to the other side of fear.
- 1:13:13You
- 1:13:13Denise Elizabeth Byron: do.
- 1:13:13Yeah.
- 1:13:13And you, yeah.
- 1:13:14And you talk about that, that dimension that the horses take you into, right?
- 1:13:20Mm-hmm.
- 1:13:21That's, I think, why I can connect with this beautiful community is
- 1:13:25because you already know that there's another dimension beyond this.
- 1:13:30There's multiple dimensions beyond this.
- 1:13:33Rupert Isaacson: Here's another question.
- 1:13:35When we look at astrology, we're looking at a solar system that has
- 1:13:39been known to us because we sit on this planet and we look up at the sky.
- 1:13:43And, but although recently, you know, Pluto's been added to that.
- 1:13:46Mm-hmm.
- 1:13:47And we think other planets may, there may be this mysterious planet
- 1:13:53X or the ninth planet or whatever.
- 1:13:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh yeah.
- 1:13:54There's quite a number now.
- 1:13:55Rupert Isaacson: Yes.
- 1:13:56Right.
- 1:13:56And.
- 1:13:57But in astrology, of course, these unknowns are not, astrology is often
- 1:14:03presented as a sort of a, a fixed, like there are these planets and they
- 1:14:10relate to the sun on the moon like this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:14:14And often I'm wondering, yeah, but aren't there more?
- 1:14:18And
- 1:14:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: yes, and actually,
- 1:14:19Rupert Isaacson: and if there are, what are they doing and why aren't they talked
- 1:14:22about or how are they talked about?
- 1:14:23Or
- 1:14:24Denise Elizabeth Byron: I have been blessed with a
- 1:14:26mentor who, this is his forte.
- 1:14:30Looking at asteroids, looking at the moons of planets, looking at planets
- 1:14:35further out, looking at black holes, looking at everything that's astronomical.
- 1:14:41Mm-hmm.
- 1:14:42And how it can be interpreted astrologically, there is, there
- 1:14:47astrology is actually a, a, something that's evolving all the time.
- 1:14:51There is traditional astrology and nothing wrong with that.
- 1:14:55It works really, really well.
- 1:14:56It's powerful.
- 1:14:57But evolutionary astrology is something that, where it's changing,
- 1:15:01it's shifting, it's growing.
- 1:15:03And I have lots of books here and behind me.
- 1:15:07There's also me looking at astrology.
- 1:15:11From a different lens, you know, astrology, like everything else
- 1:15:15has a very patriarchal lens.
- 1:15:17It has a colonial lens, if you will, to some extent.
- 1:15:21Not
- 1:15:21Rupert Isaacson: entirely though.
- 1:15:21There, there, there is a,
- 1:15:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: not entirely,
- 1:15:24Rupert Isaacson: I'd say it's one of the, one of the areas
- 1:15:25where you get a kind of a real,
- 1:15:28Denise Elizabeth Byron: it's somewhat a
- 1:15:28Rupert Isaacson: balance, do you?
- 1:15:29Not,
- 1:15:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: depending on Yes, yes and no.
- 1:15:33Venus obviously is well represented, right?
- 1:15:35Aphrodite, Venus moon, the moon, moon is considered the more of a feminine.
- 1:15:41But I will just say this, and again, we don't have to, but
- 1:15:43Rupert Isaacson: the planets themselves are mostly male.
- 1:15:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: They are.
- 1:15:46I don't wanna belabor it, but this is really, this is really
- 1:15:48Rupert Isaacson: good information.
- 1:15:49Well, those mostly in German.
- 1:15:49In German, the sun is female.
- 1:15:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, I know that.
- 1:15:52That's cool.
- 1:15:53Rupert Isaacson: Isn't that interesting?
- 1:15:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: I love it as it should be.
- 1:15:56No, I'm fine with whatever it is.
- 1:15:58But there are asteroids and astronomers have, in recent years
- 1:16:04really focused on naming new objects after women goddesses in particular.
- 1:16:14Rupert Isaacson: I've noticed that.
- 1:16:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:16:15What's, yeah, what's really interesting is to look at some of
- 1:16:20these goddesses and then go back in time, preyer even, and look at the
- 1:16:28matriarchal lens of something similar.
- 1:16:31And just notice, it's just a noticing.
- 1:16:33How can this.
- 1:16:34Goddess who has come to us in a particular form.
- 1:16:39We could take Diana, a moon goddess, right.
- 1:16:42Artemis.
- 1:16:42Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:43Denise Elizabeth Byron: In astrology, there is a asteroid,
- 1:16:45Diana that we can track.
- 1:16:47There's Vesta or hesta we can track goddess.
- 1:16:52Yeah.
- 1:16:52We can track a lot of them in a chart.
- 1:16:53Juno is another one that we track a lot for relationships.
- 1:16:57Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: If you look at the patriarchal connection to Juno, they want
- 1:17:02Juno to, I'm not kidding, this is real.
- 1:17:06They want Juno to let women know that suffering because of her
- 1:17:10husband is part of the deal.
- 1:17:13It's just part of
- 1:17:14Rupert Isaacson: what Yeah.
- 1:17:14She gets, she gets revenge all the time.
- 1:17:16Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh yeah.
- 1:17:16She gets revenge.
- 1:17:18Rupert Isaacson: All sorts of horrible
- 1:17:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: things.
- 1:17:19But if you go back earlier in time
- 1:17:22Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:17:22Denise Elizabeth Byron: What they based Juno on was really
- 1:17:25an advocate of all people, but particularly women and children.
- 1:17:30Rupert Isaacson: Sure.
- 1:17:30And, and just back to that, you like the Greek thing of inventing
- 1:17:34the Amazons as people that had to be conquered by their male heroes.
- 1:17:37Yeah.
- 1:17:37When in fact they were trading partners.
- 1:17:39Yeah.
- 1:17:40And probably the people coming back on the ships from Scalia
- 1:17:44who had exchanged, you know, with probably some high status female
- 1:17:50Denise Elizabeth Byron: mm-hmm.
- 1:17:50Rupert Isaacson: Warrior leader tattooed.
- 1:17:53And the lead, the, the high status lead woman probably went away
- 1:17:56thinking, well that was a good deal.
- 1:17:57I, you know, made a bit of money there.
- 1:17:59And bit puny these Greeks, but hey, and the, the Greek went away going, oh
- 1:18:03God, they're a bit wild, aren't they?
- 1:18:04Well, well, I got some good pelts there, but we can't have those people coming back
- 1:18:08to, to Athens, but yeah, I I hear you.
- 1:18:12We, we have inherited a largely patriarchal
- 1:18:17Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, yeah, and it's fine.
- 1:18:18It's just, we need to sort through it.
- 1:18:20So when we're looking at a chart and we're looking at how can these planets,
- 1:18:25which are, I mean, they're fascinating.
- 1:18:27How can these planets give us information?
- 1:18:30I have to look back and say, there's thousands of years of support for this.
- 1:18:34This is a question.
- 1:18:35A lot of people have this question, how can the planets, which actually
- 1:18:38don't line up in the same way they did thousands of years ago,
- 1:18:41astronomically and astrologically?
- 1:18:43How does it all still work?
- 1:18:44Mm-hmm.
- 1:18:45It just does.
- 1:18:46And a lot, and again, that's not a scientific answer at all, but it's just
- 1:18:51that when we look at the interpretation of how the sun, the moon the, what was on the
- 1:18:58the horizon, what we call the rising sign, what was on the horizon when we were born?
- 1:19:02How Saturn, can I just talk about your, your generation?
- 1:19:07Sure.
- 1:19:07Just for a minute.
- 1:19:08Okay.
- 1:19:08So I, I'm guessing, based on things you've said, you were born
- 1:19:12in the later part of the sixties.
- 1:19:14Rupert Isaacson: 1967.
- 1:19:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:19:15So 1966.
- 1:19:18In 1967, so 1966, those people fire horses.
- 1:19:22They're all in their fire
- 1:19:24Rupert Isaacson: horse here.
- 1:19:24And I'm still fire horse 'cause I'm, I'm just Oh, cool.
- 1:19:27February.
- 1:19:27Yeah.
- 1:19:27So I'm
- 1:19:28Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:19:29Rupert Isaacson: I, I, I, interesting.
- 1:19:30Squeeze in by a whisker, like a
- 1:19:31Denise Elizabeth Byron: felt
- 1:19:32Rupert Isaacson: done.
- 1:19:32That's actually going to be a question of mine.
- 1:19:34About a, how does the Chinese stuff marry up with the western stuff?
- 1:19:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:19:39Rupert Isaacson: B, Northern hemisphere.
- 1:19:41Southern hemisphere.
- 1:19:42'cause it must be Oh
- 1:19:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah.
- 1:19:43Rupert Isaacson: Flipped on its head.
- 1:19:44Yeah.
- 1:19:44They're different, you know.
- 1:19:44Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:19:45Rupert Isaacson: And c yeah, let's talk, we wanna talk about fire horses
- 1:19:48because it's the year of the fire horse.
- 1:19:49Okay.
- 1:19:49Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well,
- 1:19:50Rupert Isaacson: but yeah, I am a fire horse for sure.
- 1:19:52Yeah.
- 1:19:52Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay, good.
- 1:19:52All right.
- 1:19:53I'm gonna dovetail this in.
- 1:19:54So, Western astrology fire horse, I'll, I'll make a, I'll make a link here.
- 1:19:58Rupert Isaacson: So I'm an Aquarius fire horse.
- 1:20:00As you may know, if you've been following my work, we are also horsey folk here.
- 1:20:05And we have been training horses for many, many years in the manner of
- 1:20:10the old classical dressage masters.
- 1:20:13This is something which is often very confusing for people.
- 1:20:16We shine a light on that murky, difficult stuff and make it crystal clear.
- 1:20:22If you'd like to learn to train your horse in the manner of the old masters and
- 1:20:26really have fun and joy for you and your equine, go to our website, heliosharmony.
- 1:20:32com Sign up as a premium member.
- 1:20:35and begin to take the Helios Harmony course, which will take you from zero
- 1:20:39to the Piaf, where the horse is dancing on the spot in hand on the ground.
- 1:20:45And then from there, you can develop out to anywhere you want to.
- 1:20:50Heliosharmony.
- 1:20:51com to unlock the secrets of the old masters.
- 1:20:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:20:56That would make sense.
- 1:20:56You would have to be born in early February of that year.
- 1:20:59Yeah, February 4th of 67.
- 1:21:00Okay.
- 1:21:01Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:21:01Denise Elizabeth Byron: So in 66 and actually starting in
- 1:21:0463, building in 64, 65, 66, 67.
- 1:21:10There's a combination of two planets in Virgo, Uranus, and
- 1:21:15Pluto that are very close together.
- 1:21:18And then two planets,
- 1:21:20Rupert Isaacson: so many jokes.
- 1:21:21So little time, sorry.
- 1:21:23Denise Elizabeth Byron: And then.
- 1:21:25In Pisces, we have Chiron and Saturn.
- 1:21:28So in your year and in 1966, and even in my year in 64 they're
- 1:21:33opposite each other in these two signs that represent so very simply.
- 1:21:38This is very simple.
- 1:21:40Pisces would be, oh, look at that.
- 1:21:43Rupert Isaacson: What happened there?
- 1:21:44And why did that
- 1:21:44Denise Elizabeth Byron: happen?
- 1:21:45We're we're, we're having fun.
- 1:21:47This is great.
- 1:21:48Rupert Isaacson: Did you see that?
- 1:21:49Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, that was great.
- 1:21:50A little extra bonus from the other realms
- 1:21:53Rupert Isaacson: for those who are listening, a bunch of balloons just went
- 1:21:56up in our screens for no reason at all.
- 1:21:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: It, it's a gesture thing, but it's, it never
- 1:22:02happens when I try to make it.
- 1:22:03Rupert Isaacson: Thank you.
- 1:22:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: It never happens when I try
- 1:22:06Rupert Isaacson: on the realm.
- 1:22:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: It only happens when the universe, oh,
- 1:22:14Rupert Isaacson: what,
- 1:22:17Denise Elizabeth Byron: what
- 1:22:19Rupert Isaacson: we mess.
- 1:22:20Denise Elizabeth Byron: It only happens when the universe makes it happen.
- 1:22:23Okay, so I have to say this, I have to finish this.
- 1:22:25So these, these planets lining up, right?
- 1:22:29Pisces is the healer, the compassion, the mystic, the spiritual, right?
- 1:22:36Virgo is healing.
- 1:22:39It's looking at the healing arts.
- 1:22:41It's service, it's work, it's devotion.
- 1:22:46And so in your chart, wherever they may be, they're opposite each other.
- 1:22:50And they are, they create what I call a conduit that opens you up as someone who
- 1:22:57wants to bring the spiritual and, and a bit of the scientific really in some
- 1:23:02form, something very practical into the world that is going to help with healing.
- 1:23:09And we obviously, we heal ourselves first.
- 1:23:11Virgo also represents a lot about psychology mental, physical wellbeing.
- 1:23:17So there's, this is the beauty of our astrology is it gives us clues
- 1:23:24as to where we go in this lifetime.
- 1:23:27Why did my soul choose this lifetime?
- 1:23:29How do I wanna evolve?
- 1:23:31And because of the balloons, I can't remember where we started
- 1:23:33this part of the conversation.
- 1:23:35Rupert Isaacson: We, we
- 1:23:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: blame it on the balloons.
- 1:23:41Rupert Isaacson: I can't telling you that happened.
- 1:23:43Only for those of you who are listening a whole bunch, like two or three times.
- 1:23:47Denise Elizabeth Byron: It's never happened to me, me before.
- 1:23:49Like that
- 1:23:49Rupert Isaacson: went spontaneously up through both of our screens.
- 1:23:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: No, the cosmos is saying, listen, this is to celebrate that.
- 1:23:55Okay, so fire horse.
- 1:23:57Absolutely.
- 1:23:57Celebratory
- 1:23:57Rupert Isaacson: fire
- 1:23:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: horse.
- 1:23:58Yeah.
- 1:23:58Celebrating.
- 1:23:59Okay.
- 1:24:00So fire horses 1966, early 1967.
- 1:24:04The fire horse.
- 1:24:05Oh, how does Chinese astrology they're very different.
- 1:24:08They're extraordinarily different.
- 1:24:10I'm lucky that I know, just enough to know, just enough.
- 1:24:14But there are elements, I think of the fire horse that bring a lot
- 1:24:18of resiliency, a lot of strength.
- 1:24:20Obviously you've got some fire, so there's passion.
- 1:24:22You've got the horse.
- 1:24:24All of those qualities that you attributed to the horse
- 1:24:27are real in Chinese astrology.
- 1:24:29So when I combine them with the Western astrology, and I look at this connection
- 1:24:34between the Pisces Virgo, and then there's, you know, a whole bunch of
- 1:24:37other things, obviously in a chart.
- 1:24:38What I'm aware of is that fire horse people came here to really work
- 1:24:46in the healing realms with the, the, the qi or the, you know, the
- 1:24:51strength of this inner flame, this energy, this life horse energy.
- 1:24:57So when a fire horse is not happy, when a fire horse is feeling a little
- 1:25:04down, they need to come back to themselves and do that inner healing
- 1:25:08and say, what am I not expressing?
- 1:25:11Because you are a conduit.
- 1:25:12This is who you are, this is how you're designed, and so how can
- 1:25:17you work with your life force energy, continue to create a greater
- 1:25:22capacity for that and keep going.
- 1:25:25And, you know, 60.
- 1:25:27The age of 60 is we're, I always feel blessed if we get to live to be 60.
- 1:25:33How, how amazing that is.
- 1:25:36And so what wisdom can you share?
- 1:25:37But you considering how
- 1:25:38Rupert Isaacson: many times you've said, hold my beer.
- 1:25:40Yeah.
- 1:25:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Right.
- 1:25:42And you know, you say you've got this Saturn and Chiron in Pisces very often.
- 1:25:49And what happens there is by age 59, which you must have just turned 59.
- 1:25:56Rupert Isaacson: Yes.
- 1:25:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, I did.
- 1:25:57Yeah.
- 1:25:57You are in your Saturn return, which is to say Saturn is coming back
- 1:26:01to where it was when you were born
- 1:26:03Rupert Isaacson: Uhhuh.
- 1:26:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: And so it is your time to deepen into the lessons you've
- 1:26:07learned and to step into your wisdom and something I really feel about horses.
- 1:26:13So again, kind of bringing more of that back into the conversation.
- 1:26:17I've always felt from the time I was very little that horses and whales, horses and
- 1:26:23whales were in particular wisdom keepers.
- 1:26:26One was in the water and one was on land.
- 1:26:29Now obviously cats are, dogs are, every animal is a
- 1:26:31Rupert Isaacson: wisdom.
- 1:26:32I often think of horses as land dolphins.
- 1:26:33Yeah.
- 1:26:34Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, that's great.
- 1:26:35I love that.
- 1:26:37I love that.
- 1:26:38So the, the wisdom that those of you that are 59, 60, 61, when we get to
- 1:26:45that, if we are lucky enough to live into that age, it is I think important
- 1:26:49for us to, to really consider.
- 1:26:53How we wanna share our wisdom in the world.
- 1:26:55So then we can look at a chart again and say, well, how, how do we want Kansas?
- 1:27:01And I actually, I just taught a class with Kansas on Saturn.
- 1:27:05And I had brought Kansas in to do some heart math with us so we
- 1:27:10could connect with our hearts.
- 1:27:11'cause Saturn can feel very like, oh, mental.
- 1:27:15But it's, you know, again, being embodied as you know, from your
- 1:27:18work being in your body is huge.
- 1:27:19Otherwise, the wisdom, it it, it's not just here, it's everywhere.
- 1:27:24And so, how do you wanna live into your wisdom?
- 1:27:27So fire horses is, it is, I think it's your time to really, you know,
- 1:27:34again, and I think Rupert, for what you do and how you teach, it's exactly
- 1:27:40right for a fire horse right now.
- 1:27:43Don't get on the horse until you have made a connection.
- 1:27:50You're listening.
- 1:27:52You ask, just because it's a fire horse here does not mean to go fast.
- 1:27:57And in fact, right now, while you and I are talking in early March
- 1:28:02we're having a Mercury retrograde.
- 1:28:04The last thing anybody needs to do is get on a horse and gallop away.
- 1:28:07Right now.
- 1:28:08Rupert Isaacson: Why?
- 1:28:08What is a Mercury, mercury retrograde, and why, why does
- 1:28:11it lead us to that conclusion?
- 1:28:12Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay, so Mercury, it can lead us to many
- 1:28:15conclusions, but Mercury is our planet that moves the fastest.
- 1:28:19Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:28:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:28:20And when it retrogrades, which is again, it's engaging in a, an elliptical orbit
- 1:28:25that looks like it's going backwards.
- 1:28:27Mm-hmm.
- 1:28:28In a astrology chart, but let me just say, it's not going backwards, obviously.
- 1:28:33Mm-hmm.
- 1:28:33In the sky.
- 1:28:34But Mercury gives us reminders about communication.
- 1:28:38Certainly it relates to technology, it relates to anything thinking ideas.
- 1:28:44And the idea of a retrograde is a resting place, place.
- 1:28:48An idea of a retrograde is a place where we renew, we refresh, we review, we
- 1:28:54don't have to jump forward all the time.
- 1:28:57That would not be wise, right?
- 1:28:59I mean, if we're just constant,
- 1:29:00Rupert Isaacson: why would it not be wise?
- 1:29:01Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, if you're constantly jumping forward,
- 1:29:04when are you ever integrating,
- 1:29:08you know, integration is where the wisdom comes from.
- 1:29:12Gathering knowledge is great, but if you don't take time to integrate it,
- 1:29:17Rupert Isaacson: if you're eating all the time, you can't digest.
- 1:29:20Denise Elizabeth Byron: Exactly.
- 1:29:21Exactly.
- 1:29:22I mean, that's exactly it.
- 1:29:23So we are at a, currently when we're recording this in a time where we
- 1:29:27don't wanna move too quickly but there will come times this year
- 1:29:30where we want to move quickly.
- 1:29:32The fire horse will say, yes, let's go for a ride.
- 1:29:36Let's, let's, let's go on a new adventure.
- 1:29:39Rupert Isaacson: When does the Mercury Retrograde end?
- 1:29:41And then
- 1:29:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: for this, this timeframe, March
- 1:29:4320th, we have three of them.
- 1:29:45Yeah.
- 1:29:46Three of them a year.
- 1:29:47Yeah.
- 1:29:47Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:29:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: So, and for some of us side note, just a little side note,
- 1:29:53I was born with needle mercury retrograde, which there have been some studies
- 1:29:59done that people born with a, a mercury retrograde have a little neurodiversity,
- 1:30:04often brains work a little differently.
- 1:30:07During Mercury retrograde, my brain works really well.
- 1:30:11It's a great time for me to write.
- 1:30:13It's a great time for me to get things done.
- 1:30:15I'm working on my taxes, you know, it's fabulous.
- 1:30:21The rest of the time, eh, you know, I go slow.
- 1:30:25Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:30:26Interesting.
- 1:30:27Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:30:27Rupert Isaacson: So interesting.
- 1:30:30Okay, here's a question.
- 1:30:31Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:30:32Rupert Isaacson: Most astrology that we know of, or all astrology that
- 1:30:35we know of that comes out of it, comes out of the Northern hemisphere.
- 1:30:38So, i've often wondered, and you know, my family's South African.
- 1:30:42When we look up at the sky down there, it's completely different.
- 1:30:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: It is
- 1:30:45Rupert Isaacson: completely different.
- 1:30:46I mean, it's not that we don't have some of the same heavenly bodies,
- 1:30:48but we have other heavenly bodies down there that don't appear up here.
- 1:30:51The Southern cross is, is an obvious one and some crossover.
- 1:30:56So Orion is there.
- 1:30:57The player Ds are there, I guess the planets there.
- 1:30:59So, but they, of course, the seasons are reversed.
- 1:31:04So is astrology reversed down there?
- 1:31:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: Wow.
- 1:31:09You know, all I know, I, I ha I have my mentor Philip Sedgwick in my head.
- 1:31:14I wish I could channel him right now.
- 1:31:17The, the, the easy answer for me is it works because there's an adjustment
- 1:31:21in astrology that makes it work.
- 1:31:23So when you put in, when you're putting in the time of birth, which
- 1:31:27is latitude and longitude and time of birth are, are vital for a chart.
- 1:31:33So when you're putting in latitude and longitude, the chart automatically
- 1:31:37adjusts in the way it needs to for me to be able to read it.
- 1:31:40Rupert Isaacson: Oh, I see.
- 1:31:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: But see, Philip could, Philip, he
- 1:31:43lives on this side of my head.
- 1:31:44For those of you that can't see, I'm gesturing to my left for no
- 1:31:49good reason other than Philip living over here in my head.
- 1:31:53He would know why.
- 1:31:53He could tell you the exact technical one.
- 1:31:55Rupert Isaacson: Who is Philip, by the way?
- 1:31:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: Philip Sedwick is this very interesting
- 1:31:58astrologer who lives in Arizona.
- 1:32:01Rupert Isaacson: Should we be talking to him?
- 1:32:03Denise Elizabeth Byron: You know, you would probably love talking to him.
- 1:32:06He's Philip
- 1:32:06Rupert Isaacson: Sedgwick.
- 1:32:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:32:07He's really interesting.
- 1:32:08And he, again, he looks at black holes.
- 1:32:11Okay.
- 1:32:11G lactic anomalies and astronomy.
- 1:32:15And I think as an astrologer it is, I, you know, he has brought
- 1:32:20something into my awareness that a lot of other astrologers don't study.
- 1:32:26So I've, I've always appreciated that I have a lot of excellent mentors.
- 1:32:31I really believe in mentors.
- 1:32:33Rupert Isaacson: Can you give us a bit of an idea of what he says
- 1:32:34about the anomalies, the black holes, the asteroids, and so forth?
- 1:32:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: In my very simple way I can say it from my own chart because
- 1:32:42he's taught me a lot through my own chart.
- 1:32:44Rupert Isaacson: Mm.
- 1:32:44Denise Elizabeth Byron: So I have I wonder, do you know
- 1:32:47where your moon is in astrology?
- 1:32:50Rupert Isaacson: In my own particular one?
- 1:32:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:32:52In your chart.
- 1:32:52Rupert Isaacson: Does that mean you have to know what time you were born?
- 1:32:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:32:56Or a day?
- 1:32:56I mean, for the moon?
- 1:32:57It just depends on the day.
- 1:32:58Rupert Isaacson: Well,
- 1:32:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: it doesn't matter if you don't.
- 1:32:59It's okay.
- 1:33:00Rupert Isaacson: 1967, but I, I, I think it might have been a Saturday and I can
- 1:33:04never remember whether my mom said it was nine o'clock in the morning or midnight.
- 1:33:07I, I can never remember.
- 1:33:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:33:08It doesn't matter.
- 1:33:09I'll just say it from my, from where I am.
- 1:33:11So when I was born, my moon was in Sagittarius at a particular degree,
- 1:33:16and that degree of Sagittarius correlates with a galactic.
- 1:33:21Anomaly of some kind.
- 1:33:23So he spends his time, and again, he's combining the astronomy and the astrology,
- 1:33:29and he's looking at what does a galactic anomaly or a black hole or something,
- 1:33:36how does that affect the personality?
- 1:33:38Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:33:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: And so he has assigned some qualities to people
- 1:33:42like me who have, let's say, my rising sign is also a conjunctive black hole.
- 1:33:48I, you know, he has ways of doing this.
- 1:33:51And what it does is it, I feel like for me, it says, I am responsible.
- 1:33:56I have to be responsible about how I conduct myself in the world.
- 1:34:02And here's how my partner David, would explain it
- 1:34:05Rupert Isaacson: more so than others.
- 1:34:06I mean, that
- 1:34:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: could be anyway.
- 1:34:08Yes.
- 1:34:08And I'll tell you why.
- 1:34:09Because there's energy there.
- 1:34:11There's energy there.
- 1:34:12So I'll give you a fun example.
- 1:34:13David said, David always talks about this every time, wherever we go.
- 1:34:16What does
- 1:34:16Rupert Isaacson: David do, by the way?
- 1:34:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, he is a, a doctor of medical Qigong who also does a
- 1:34:23deep, deep dive into Daoist inner alchemy.
- 1:34:27Okay.
- 1:34:27And so he works with, sounds like
- 1:34:28Rupert Isaacson: we should have him on the show.
- 1:34:29Okay.
- 1:34:29Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, you should definitely, you guys
- 1:34:31would have a great conversation.
- 1:34:33Yeah.
- 1:34:33Yeah.
- 1:34:34A lot of really, a lot of depth there.
- 1:34:36And again, looking at it from, again, the eastern.
- 1:34:39Mm, the Eastern philosophies.
- 1:34:42So anyway, when I go into a place, if it's empty, like our local coffee place, if I
- 1:34:47walk, we walk over there in the morning.
- 1:34:49If it's empty, invariably within two minutes it will be full.
- 1:34:56And this was a thing when I lived in Santa Cruz.
- 1:35:00I used to go to a particular chocolate shop that doesn't exist anymore, where
- 1:35:04they would have sipping chocolate and I would go sit in the back so I could
- 1:35:08do my work and just be out of the way.
- 1:35:09And I would just watch as people just came in.
- 1:35:14That's a black holy fact.
- 1:35:17So how am I going to manage that?
- 1:35:19I'm gonna just be very aware that I need to, and this is,
- 1:35:23I really, really believe this.
- 1:35:25I need to remember that I, like every, everybody else is
- 1:35:30a vehicle of light and love.
- 1:35:32And I, I have to start my day and I do this every day.
- 1:35:35I am a vehicle of light and love and so are you and so is everyone else.
- 1:35:40I just wanna be more mindful that that is the energy that I'm channeling.
- 1:35:43Because if I'm not in a good place, it's not pretty.
- 1:35:49Rupert Isaacson: So, not pretty not for pretty, for people who come
- 1:35:52into your orbit, not pretty for you?
- 1:35:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Pretty much, yeah.
- 1:35:55Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:35:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Not, not, not a happy day for anybody.
- 1:35:58You know, but, and I think all of us can make a case for that in general
- 1:36:01because like we've been talking about, we do have these energy fields that
- 1:36:04come out from our bodies, right?
- 1:36:06So if anybody gets caught in that energy field may not be a good thing.
- 1:36:10But I do think some of us, and again, Philip could obviously give you a lot
- 1:36:14more understanding of this, but the way our planets connect with these
- 1:36:18black holes or the way they connect with the, you know, the galactic,
- 1:36:24there's something called the Galactic Center and the Super Galactic Center.
- 1:36:28And I just happen to have a lot of planets connecting a lot of those together.
- 1:36:32So, okay.
- 1:36:33Yeah.
- 1:36:34Rupert Isaacson: I want to go back to animals.
- 1:36:36Okay.
- 1:36:36So you've talked about some past life stuff and we talked about ancestor
- 1:36:40stuff and we know that to be a human in the wild state is usually to have
- 1:36:48a relationship with about 300 species that is quite intimate because we're
- 1:36:54also creatures, we're amphibious.
- 1:36:57So all the earliest sapiens sapiens stuff, there's previous humans that
- 1:37:02didn't really go much near the sea, but we are very much margin of land and water.
- 1:37:07So it's not just the it's not just the land animals for us.
- 1:37:10Okay.
- 1:37:11Right.
- 1:37:11And when you talk, when one hears people talking about
- 1:37:15past lives, it's interesting.
- 1:37:17They often talk about their time as another human, but I don't hear
- 1:37:20people talking about their time as a, as a sea turtle or their time as
- 1:37:25a boll weevil or their time as Right.
- 1:37:28You know, and that could simply be, 'cause that isn't memory.
- 1:37:31And that, but I presume that, that if we're talking
- 1:37:37about fields of consciousness
- 1:37:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: mm-hmm.
- 1:37:39Rupert Isaacson: And interweaving fields of consciousness and that souls
- 1:37:46in whatever way and whatever souls are, move to some degree through
- 1:37:53these fields of consciousness.
- 1:37:54Mm-hmm.
- 1:37:55I imagine that two things.
- 1:37:56I imagine that if there's other dimensions, which clearly there must
- 1:38:00be presumably we move through those, so we must have lives in those as well.
- 1:38:06Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:38:07Rupert Isaacson: And presumably we must go into the fields of consciousness
- 1:38:10of animals, plants, rocks, planets.
- 1:38:18Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:38:18Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:38:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: I would
- 1:38:19Rupert Isaacson: agree.
- 1:38:19The time, the time when I was Mercury, the time when I was an earthworm.
- 1:38:23The time when I was,
- 1:38:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: you know, the winged messenger.
- 1:38:27Yes, yes.
- 1:38:28Yeah.
- 1:38:28Rupert Isaacson: You know, the time when I was an earthworm on mercury.
- 1:38:31Well, that probably didn't happen unless it's mercury in another
- 1:38:33dimension where it has an atmosphere.
- 1:38:35But.
- 1:38:37Do you know what I mean?
- 1:38:37It seems to me that there must be so much infinite diversity.
- 1:38:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:38:44Agreed.
- 1:38:44Rupert Isaacson: How is it, is it just simply that because we are looking
- 1:38:48through this particular lens when we're in a human lifetime mm-hmm.
- 1:38:52We're going to interpret it in that way.
- 1:38:54Mm-hmm.
- 1:38:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:38:56I, I wanna be respectful too.
- 1:38:57There are certain cultures and spiritual traditions that really,
- 1:39:01that really do think that human souls only reincarnate into human souls.
- 1:39:07So I wanna be very respectful.
- 1:39:09Rupert Isaacson: Mm.
- 1:39:09Denise Elizabeth Byron: That that is, that is a teaching that comes through.
- 1:39:12Mm-hmm.
- 1:39:13It isn't my personal belief.
- 1:39:16Let's say I like you, I'm thinking, well, you know, we, I
- 1:39:21mean, think about it this way.
- 1:39:22Rupert Isaacson: We must also be aliens sometimes, right?
- 1:39:24Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:39:25I mean, how do you know we're not right now?
- 1:39:28Rupert Isaacson: Yeah.
- 1:39:28Denise Elizabeth Byron: I mean, you know, this is the thing, you
- 1:39:31Rupert Isaacson: know, and yeah.
- 1:39:31If there's spores that come in from outer space and there's right elements
- 1:39:35that come in from outer space,
- 1:39:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: we are must, stardust, must
- 1:39:37Rupert Isaacson: be, yeah.
- 1:39:38Yeah.
- 1:39:38I
- 1:39:38Denise Elizabeth Byron: mean, the physical body, we, everything in us
- 1:39:41ourselves, it, that's a proven fact.
- 1:39:44Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:39:44Denise Elizabeth Byron: We actually,
- 1:39:45Rupert Isaacson: no, for sure,
- 1:39:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: for sure.
- 1:39:45Yeah.
- 1:39:46That's scientific.
- 1:39:47But from a consciousness point of view, this is, again, this, this is
- 1:39:50one of my favorite things to think about, talk about is what is that
- 1:39:55really, you know, if we are all one consciousness on some level, and then
- 1:39:59we differentiate into these forms, I could have easily come back as this plant
- 1:40:04that's sitting next to me or come back as a, you know, in an animal's form.
- 1:40:10Or like you said, the, the, I mean the crystals, the rocks.
- 1:40:14Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:40:14Denise Elizabeth Byron: Everything has something in it.
- 1:40:16And I think as we get further along with our science, we
- 1:40:19are actually finding that out.
- 1:40:21That is, that is actually being proven every day in
- 1:40:24Rupert Isaacson: some I I would agree.
- 1:40:25I, how did I hear it?
- 1:40:26Brilliantly expressed the other day by some physicist or other, but anyway,
- 1:40:31one, one listens to these podcasts, but it, it, it really resonated with me.
- 1:40:34Mm-hmm.
- 1:40:35Maybe somebody listening, you can put me straight if you heard this one too,
- 1:40:40that the idea is that if there is a field of energy or consciousness or love.
- 1:40:46And that that is everything.
- 1:40:47Mm-hmm.
- 1:40:47Presumably that permeates all dimensions.
- 1:40:50Denise Elizabeth Byron: Exactly.
- 1:40:50Rupert Isaacson: Because there, there's what isn't, what isn't.
- 1:40:53So what is must be love.
- 1:40:56Okay.
- 1:40:56So if that therefore must permeate, permeate all dimensions, all
- 1:41:01solar systems, all spiritual realms or all this and all that.
- 1:41:05My shoe.
- 1:41:06Yes.
- 1:41:06Your glasses.
- 1:41:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:41:08Everything.
- 1:41:08Rupert Isaacson: My fingernail, you know, the gravel outside
- 1:41:11there in, in my stable yard.
- 1:41:12Which is old seashells, which is Yeah.
- 1:41:14Living mass, you know, the, the, the plastic on my computer
- 1:41:17mouse, which is a fossil forest.
- 1:41:19Mm-hmm.
- 1:41:19Hmm.
- 1:41:20The
- 1:41:24way it was explained was
- 1:41:28this consciousness, this love,
- 1:41:32if one thinks of it like a, like an ocean mm-hmm.
- 1:41:35Oceans come together with certain energies and form waves.
- 1:41:39When we look at a wave, we say that's a wave.
- 1:41:41Like it's, yes, this thing almost a bit separate from the ocean because it looks
- 1:41:46like it, it, it, the ocean is sort of that blue bit there and that wave, it's that
- 1:41:50white bit that's going up the cliff there.
- 1:41:53But then when it crashes on the cliff and it goes back, it goes
- 1:41:55to the, becomes the ocean again.
- 1:41:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:41:57Rupert Isaacson: And that, but what creates the wave is.
- 1:42:02A concentration of matter and energy within that ocean that
- 1:42:06makes it behave like that.
- 1:42:08Yes.
- 1:42:08And then you can have lots and lots and lots and lots of them
- 1:42:11all in community together.
- 1:42:13And those are like the wave people, but a few miles away over
- 1:42:18there you've got the flat people.
- 1:42:20Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:42:21Rupert Isaacson: And up there you've got the water vapor people and you know,
- 1:42:27over there you've got the rain people.
- 1:42:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:42:31Rupert Isaacson: But they're all the same.
- 1:42:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:42:33Rupert Isaacson: Just, you know, and, and they can be, each one of those can
- 1:42:37be any of those things at any time.
- 1:42:38And that made perfect sense to me.
- 1:42:40It's like I see, yes.
- 1:42:43Light, for example, you know, people often talk about matter being light.
- 1:42:47So we, and we all know that molecules can be dense and create you or your
- 1:42:54sweater or it can be less, you know, close together and can be the coffee
- 1:43:01that you're drinking or it can be really far apart, which can be, you
- 1:43:05know, me crack cracking a fart here and filling the air with the smell of roses.
- 1:43:11Just a particular type of rose that thrives upon, you know, dead matter.
- 1:43:16Those are all molecules.
- 1:43:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:43:19Rupert Isaacson: And we also know that even solid matter is actually.
- 1:43:23Lots and lots of molecules dancing, vibrating with,
- 1:43:26with empty space in between.
- 1:43:28We know that that's measured.
- 1:43:29We also know that light is both a wave and a particle depending on
- 1:43:34whether it's observed or measured.
- 1:43:35And, and so,
- 1:43:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: yes.
- 1:43:36Rupert Isaacson: So we also have to accept that ambiguity and simultaneous
- 1:43:40states are being must be the norm.
- 1:43:43And when we look at the ocean, we actually do, I think, see it in physical form.
- 1:43:47Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:43:48Rupert Isaacson: But because we're visual predators who tend
- 1:43:52to hone in on things mm-hmm.
- 1:43:54We tend to hone in on the wave or the still pool or the rain or the whirlpool.
- 1:43:59Yes.
- 1:44:00Because we're always asking, how does that thing affect me and my survival right now?
- 1:44:04Yes,
- 1:44:04Denise Elizabeth Byron: exactly.
- 1:44:05Yes.
- 1:44:05Rupert Isaacson: Right.
- 1:44:06But it's a short term focus, right?
- 1:44:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: It is.
- 1:44:09Yeah.
- 1:44:09It just really asks us to be wider in our, our lens and to be
- 1:44:15very, and you know, again, I just take us back to the being a kid.
- 1:44:20Take us back to, you know, what is it like when you're that wonderment?
- 1:44:24And I hope that's still happening for kids.
- 1:44:27Like, am I, am I
- 1:44:29Rupert Isaacson: luckily they're all born with it.
- 1:44:31Denise Elizabeth Byron: I hope
- 1:44:31Rupert Isaacson: so.
- 1:44:32It's just whether or not, how, how long is it allowed to go on?
- 1:44:36That said,
- 1:44:36Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah.
- 1:44:37That 'cause that's
- 1:44:37Rupert Isaacson: getting better.
- 1:44:39I think it was harsher when I was a boy.
- 1:44:41Denise Elizabeth Byron: Good.
- 1:44:41I,
- 1:44:42Rupert Isaacson: I think that, I think that kids actually have more leeway now.
- 1:44:45Oddly enough.
- 1:44:47From what I can observe, they're certainly beaten less.
- 1:44:50Denise Elizabeth Byron: Now there's that,
- 1:44:51Rupert Isaacson: that's progress, right?
- 1:44:52Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:44:53Rupert Isaacson: I have a question for you too.
- 1:44:54You talk, you've talked about patriarchy, the patriarchal lens.
- 1:44:57You've talked about your mother, your grandmother.
- 1:44:59You have talked about your husband, you haven't talked about
- 1:45:00your father, you haven't talked about your grandfather, can we?
- 1:45:05Sure.
- 1:45:07And so they have been absent from the conversation?
- 1:45:12Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:45:13Rupert Isaacson: Is that because they were antipathetic or is that because
- 1:45:17they just don't enter the story?
- 1:45:20Denise Elizabeth Byron: Well, actually interesting.
- 1:45:22I was raised by a single mother,
- 1:45:24Rupert Isaacson: Uhhuh.
- 1:45:24Denise Elizabeth Byron: My father was in Vietnam.
- 1:45:28Okay.
- 1:45:28And when he returned, I was, let me think about this.
- 1:45:34I, I was born, I think before he went to Vietnam, but not much before.
- 1:45:41So he wasn't around.
- 1:45:42Rupert Isaacson: And presumably they married quite young then if he was sent to
- 1:45:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Vietnam?
- 1:45:45Yes.
- 1:45:45Yes.
- 1:45:46They were very young.
- 1:45:48And so he wasn't around when I was born or he was around when I was
- 1:45:52born, but not when I was young.
- 1:45:54He was briefly back and forth while he was in the service.
- 1:45:58When he got out of Vietnam, I think this was maybe the late sixties,
- 1:46:03early seventies life was not pleasant.
- 1:46:07I had a very unpleasant childhood in a lot of ways.
- 1:46:10Yeah.
- 1:46:11My parents split up and that
- 1:46:13Rupert Isaacson: he was around for a bit then.
- 1:46:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:46:15So having a lot of hardship.
- 1:46:20So when I was growing up there, I had, I had some uncles who really
- 1:46:25were fabulous at stepping in at times.
- 1:46:29I did have two grandfathers, both of whom were aquariums actually.
- 1:46:34And one of Ukrainian, Ukrainian, a aquas aqua, like Aquarius.
- 1:46:39Yeah.
- 1:46:39Not Ukrainians, but aquariums.
- 1:46:41Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:46:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: What are you, by the way, new information?
- 1:46:45Rupert Isaacson: What are you,
- 1:46:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: What?
- 1:46:46Oh, you, I'm a Taurus.
- 1:46:48Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:46:48Ah,
- 1:46:48Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah, I'm, you know, I'm the solid.
- 1:46:51Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:46:52Denise Elizabeth Byron: You know,
- 1:46:52Rupert Isaacson: snorts Pause ground.
- 1:46:53Yeah,
- 1:46:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: pause
- 1:46:54Rupert Isaacson: Earth.
- 1:46:54Yeah.
- 1:46:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: So anyway, yes.
- 1:46:57So my, both my grandfathers were alive for a short bit when I was young, Uhhuh.
- 1:47:02But most of my grandparents died quite young,
- 1:47:05Rupert Isaacson: quite young.
- 1:47:05Mine too.
- 1:47:06Yeah.
- 1:47:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: And my father was not in my life hardly
- 1:47:11at all, for many, many reasons.
- 1:47:12Rupert Isaacson: And then there wasn't a significant stepfather that came into
- 1:47:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: No, not at all.
- 1:47:17And then you know, the partner I'm with right now, David, he's amazing.
- 1:47:21Wonderful.
- 1:47:22I am very, I love being able to be with someone who I can have
- 1:47:26these kinds of conversations with.
- 1:47:28Mm-hmm.
- 1:47:28Right.
- 1:47:28And we can just dive deep into similar ways of we see the world very differently.
- 1:47:33He's a lot more scientific than I am.
- 1:47:35Yeah.
- 1:47:35And he has a lot of I think in a lot of ways very similar to you.
- 1:47:39He studies, he's, he dives deep into history and science into archeology.
- 1:47:44But we, like you, there's a philosopher there.
- 1:47:47There's someone who's knows that spirituality and the man, mundane,
- 1:47:51practical, come together in a form.
- 1:47:53So, we have been together about 13 years, so I feel very blessed.
- 1:47:59Mm-hmm.
- 1:47:59This era of my life has been very good.
- 1:48:01So when I talk about the patriarchy, I wanted just be sure that people
- 1:48:06understand that men, not, not all men are channeling some evil, domineering energy.
- 1:48:14Some might still be, but for the most part, I've been very fortunate
- 1:48:18to be able to be around men who
- 1:48:20Rupert Isaacson: arent well.
- 1:48:20And I think, I think to be fair to all humans, toxic humanity,
- 1:48:26Denise Elizabeth Byron: ah, fair
- 1:48:26Rupert Isaacson: knows no gender.
- 1:48:27Good
- 1:48:27Denise Elizabeth Byron: phrase.
- 1:48:28Rupert Isaacson: Knows no gender.
- 1:48:29Yeah.
- 1:48:30There
- 1:48:31Denise Elizabeth Byron: can be no, yeah,
- 1:48:31Rupert Isaacson: there can be different styles and flavors.
- 1:48:34Denise Elizabeth Byron: Right.
- 1:48:35Rupert Isaacson: But it's not limited to one gender.
- 1:48:39Denise Elizabeth Byron: No, it isn't.
- 1:48:40And actually that's a, that's actually a really good point, and I
- 1:48:43think a very fair point to bring up.
- 1:48:45I think that toxicity of any kind, the struggles that humans have being on earth
- 1:48:51Rupert Isaacson: it's hard to be a human being alive on planet earth
- 1:48:53Denise Elizabeth Byron: sometimes.
- 1:48:54Rupert Isaacson: Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:48:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: yeah.
- 1:48:55It is.
- 1:48:55And so to have compassion, empathy, some days, I will be honest, some
- 1:48:59days it's hard to look at what's going on in the world right now.
- 1:49:03Rupert Isaacson: Oh, sure.
- 1:49:03Denise Elizabeth Byron: And, and find our compassion and
- 1:49:06empathy for those who have power.
- 1:49:08But, and I will just underscore this, this is why I think that it's important
- 1:49:14for us to come back to how is it that I am a vehicle of light and love?
- 1:49:18Mm-hmm.
- 1:49:18How is it that I, for each of us, how is it that we are vehicles of light and love?
- 1:49:24Because if we can continue to deepen, to grow, expand into our wisdom and
- 1:49:30into that frequency of love, then we are bound to make a difference.
- 1:49:34Even if there are those out there who have a lot of power, who are
- 1:49:37not remembering that I believe we still can make a difference.
- 1:49:42Rupert Isaacson: Yes.
- 1:49:43There's a beautiful quote that I really like, which is by Marcus
- 1:49:46Aurelius, which is, or is it Epictetus?
- 1:49:51Can't remember.
- 1:49:52Someone will probably tell me in the comments.
- 1:49:54If you listening to this and you do know, please do tell
- 1:49:56me in the comments actually.
- 1:49:57But which is be like the vine, the grapevine, the grape vine doesn't care
- 1:50:04whether it's been a drought year or a rainier and the grape vine doesn't
- 1:50:09care if you cut it or tread on it.
- 1:50:11It just keeps bearing grapes.
- 1:50:15Denise Elizabeth Byron: Hmm.
- 1:50:15I love that.
- 1:50:17Rupert Isaacson: And it fulfills its destiny to now back to horses.
- 1:50:20I feel that that is that vehicle of light and love vehicle, vessel vehicle.
- 1:50:27They allow, they allow themselves to be vehicles for us.
- 1:50:31Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:50:31Rupert Isaacson: That is a, an act of generosity.
- 1:50:34Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:50:34Rupert Isaacson: Sometimes they unload us,
- 1:50:37Denise Elizabeth Byron: but
- 1:50:37Rupert Isaacson: for the most part, they are incredibly generously selflessly,
- 1:50:42tolerant and will convey us as vehicles.
- 1:50:48And they are vehicles of light and love because they
- 1:50:52allow us to pursue our dreams.
- 1:50:54Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:50:55Rupert Isaacson: That is what they do.
- 1:50:57Yeah.
- 1:50:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:51:01Rupert Isaacson: When given that there's a lot of horse people listening and I'm
- 1:51:06sure a lot of them are gonna contact you.
- 1:51:08Oh, and by the way lads, anyone listening, I'm totally gonna get over
- 1:51:11myself and get a reading from Denise.
- 1:51:15I'm terrified 'cause I'm terrified she's gonna tell me what I don't want to hear.
- 1:51:19And you know, all of that stuff.
- 1:51:21Of course, as usual, you know.
- 1:51:25Oh great.
- 1:51:25Denise Elizabeth Byron: I'll tell you.
- 1:51:26Well, I might, but I'll do it in a way.
- 1:51:29I'll use my black hole energy and I'll do it in a way that will help you.
- 1:51:34Rupert Isaacson: Oh, thank you so much.
- 1:51:36But I'm gonna do it because all my mates have done it within the journey on and
- 1:51:45horse boy community and they've all come back and said, you know, Rupert,
- 1:51:50this lady is kind of the real deal.
- 1:51:53You should, you know, so I'm gonna so we'll have that conversation
- 1:51:56afterwards and I, and so people are gonna wanna contact you and we will
- 1:51:59absolutely give you her contact and all that in a few moments.
- 1:52:04But okay, so these horse people that are listening right now, if you could tell
- 1:52:09them, you've, you, you've, you've done charts for a lot of horse people now.
- 1:52:14Mm-hmm.
- 1:52:15And a lot of horse people that are particularly working within the desire
- 1:52:20to enter fields of consciousness with their horses and to enter the healing
- 1:52:25arts with their horses and so on.
- 1:52:28And to heal wounds of personal and to try and be as good to their
- 1:52:32horses as they can be in the process.
- 1:52:34Yes.
- 1:52:34What it, what comes through for you?
- 1:52:38From that experience that you've been having the last few years that you
- 1:52:42would kind of say to every horse woman, every horse woman listening to this
- 1:52:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: I would say
- 1:52:51trust what you hear, trust what you feel.
- 1:52:57And because I think that most people who contact me are so much
- 1:53:03further along in their journey than they give themselves credit for.
- 1:53:08There's a, a, I would say a very big streak of perfectionism.
- 1:53:14Rupert Isaacson: Mm-hmm.
- 1:53:14Denise Elizabeth Byron: That runs through a lot of people in the horse realm.
- 1:53:18Rupert Isaacson: I would agree.
- 1:53:19Denise Elizabeth Byron: And it comes from a commitment to wanting to be excellent.
- 1:53:23It comes from a commitment to wanting to do best for their horses.
- 1:53:29Right.
- 1:53:30So it's not coming from a quote unquote bad place.
- 1:53:34And I would say please be compassionate with yourself.
- 1:53:40Be sensitive with yourself.
- 1:53:41Treat yourself with as much love as you treat your horse.
- 1:53:48Rupert Isaacson: Oh, that's good.
- 1:53:55That's good.
- 1:53:55Treat yourself with as much love as you treat your horse.
- 1:53:59Denise Elizabeth Byron: Mm-hmm.
- 1:54:05Rupert Isaacson: Now, does that mean I have to apply that to myself?
- 1:54:07Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:54:10Rupert Isaacson: Boy,
- 1:54:12Denise Elizabeth Byron: I think we all need to hear this.
- 1:54:14Whether it's a horse,
- 1:54:15Rupert Isaacson: you're so, you're so right.
- 1:54:16You're so right.
- 1:54:17Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:54:18Rupert Isaacson: Treat yourself with as much love as you treat your horse.
- 1:54:22Brilliant.
- 1:54:23Denise, thank you so much.
- 1:54:26Denise Elizabeth Byron: You are welcome.
- 1:54:29Rupert Isaacson: Okay.
- 1:54:30We've kind of hit the two hour mark here.
- 1:54:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: I know,
- 1:54:33Rupert Isaacson: and we've arrived here like really fast with balloons.
- 1:54:37Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:54:38Rupert Isaacson: So maybe this is the moment to sign off for this one.
- 1:54:43But because I'm gonna definitely get with you and, and get the chart done, and
- 1:54:46then if I dare, we'll do another podcast.
- 1:54:51You know, I think it would be great for people to hear more from you.
- 1:54:54But I know a lot of people are gonna wanna contact you now.
- 1:54:56So please do the plugs.
- 1:54:57Please tell us how to contact you.
- 1:55:00Denise Elizabeth Byron: I think the best way to contact me is through my website,
- 1:55:02which is denise elizabeth byron.com.
- 1:55:06It's, it's a Mouth by Byron
- 1:55:07Rupert Isaacson: with YRON.
- 1:55:09Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:55:09BYR
- 1:55:10Rupert Isaacson: as Byron.
- 1:55:11Yeah.
- 1:55:11Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:55:11Like Lord Byron, who I'm not related to, but long, we'll talk
- 1:55:16about that story another time.
- 1:55:17We'll do that on a different podcast, but yeah, that's the best way.
- 1:55:20It's just through the website.
- 1:55:21Send me an email.
- 1:55:23I will respond to that email,
- 1:55:25Rupert Isaacson: denise elizabeth byron.com.
- 1:55:27Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:55:27And I will respond.
- 1:55:30Super.
- 1:55:31Yeah.
- 1:55:31We'll see each other.
- 1:55:32I'm also found on Facebook and Instagram I can get messages there
- 1:55:36as well, if that's easier for people.
- 1:55:38Yeah,
- 1:55:39Rupert Isaacson: yeah.
- 1:55:39And similarly, yeah, if people are looking for things that it's not just
- 1:55:43about their chart, they probably maybe have questions about their horse.
- 1:55:47Mm-hmm.
- 1:55:47They maybe have, you know, maybe their stuff coming through with grief with
- 1:55:51Denise Elizabeth Byron: mm-hmm.
- 1:55:51Rupert Isaacson: Loved ones and lost ones and things.
- 1:55:53I presume that's all within your sphere.
- 1:55:56Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yes.
- 1:55:57It's not, you know, it's something that often happens in a session.
- 1:56:00Mm-hmm.
- 1:56:00There's, there's a variety of tools.
- 1:56:03I feel very blessed.
- 1:56:04I've, I've lived enough decades now that I've acquired a number
- 1:56:07of, a number of tools to share, and I'm very happy to share them.
- 1:56:12Rupert Isaacson: We just did, you know, a wonderful podcast on grief
- 1:56:15with my great friend Carla Brams.
- 1:56:18Which I think resonated with a lot of people because, you know,
- 1:56:22when you, you hit the 60 mark
- 1:56:24Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:56:25Rupert Isaacson: People start to fall around you and I mean, it's
- 1:56:28not that they don't anyway, but it's much more noticeable, obviously.
- 1:56:32And so I would, I would encourage anyone listening or watching too.
- 1:56:40Bring that, if that seems right.
- 1:56:42Yeah.
- 1:56:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah.
- 1:56:43And, and I think I, I look forward to hearing that podcast as well.
- 1:56:47It has been quite a time, and I would just say this, as far as the
- 1:56:51current astrology I do have the cosmic compass conversations on YouTube.
- 1:56:56Okay.
- 1:56:57And I'm, I am trying to keep up with that as much as possible and
- 1:57:02talk to the planets and share a little bit more about the astrology.
- 1:57:06This is a significant year.
- 1:57:08It's a fire horse year.
- 1:57:09Yes.
- 1:57:10Yeah.
- 1:57:10But it's also a very significant year in astrology.
- 1:57:12So we are, we are navigating through un literally unprecedented time.
- 1:57:17And I don't know, maybe it's always that way, but I feel like for
- 1:57:21our lifetimes, this is probably one of the biggest years we've
- 1:57:24encountered, at least astrologically.
- 1:57:27Rupert Isaacson: Oh, sure.
- 1:57:27Certainly since 1945, I would say.
- 1:57:29Yeah.
- 1:57:30Denise Elizabeth Byron: I would say that yes, you were correct.
- 1:57:33And let's just keep being vehicles of light and love as much as possible.
- 1:57:39Rupert Isaacson: Yes.
- 1:57:40Denise Elizabeth Byron: Right now
- 1:57:40Rupert Isaacson: I'm with you there.
- 1:57:42Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:57:42Rupert Isaacson: I'm with you there.
- 1:57:44Alright, Denise.
- 1:57:44Thank you so much.
- 1:57:46Denise Elizabeth Byron: Thank you so much.
- 1:57:47This has been a great conversation.
- 1:57:49Rupert Isaacson: It has, hasn't it?
- 1:57:50Denise Elizabeth Byron: I knew it would be fun.
- 1:57:53Rupert Isaacson: What a blessing.
- 1:57:53Those balloons.
- 1:57:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: I know.
- 1:57:55I see.
- 1:57:56I can't make it happen.
- 1:57:58Rupert Isaacson: Has that happened to you before on a,
- 1:58:00Denise Elizabeth Byron: on a podcast, on a Zoom?
- 1:58:01It has been.
- 1:58:01It happens when I can't, like if I, like there's a way here I'll show you.
- 1:58:04Rupert Isaacson: And is it always balloons?
- 1:58:06Denise Elizabeth Byron: You can do this.
- 1:58:07Rupert Isaacson: Uhhuh,
- 1:58:08Denise Elizabeth Byron: there's a thing, right?
- 1:58:09Uhhuh.
- 1:58:09But notice nothing is happening.
- 1:58:12Right.
- 1:58:12Wait, maybe I do this.
- 1:58:14There it is.
- 1:58:15See that?
- 1:58:15Rupert Isaacson: Oh, I would,
- 1:58:17Denise Elizabeth Byron: you can.
- 1:58:17Okay.
- 1:58:18There you go.
- 1:58:23Rupert Isaacson: What?
- 1:58:28Denise Elizabeth Byron: But now that is the only one that
- 1:58:30I can actually make happen.
- 1:58:31I think technically
- 1:58:32Rupert Isaacson: look
- 1:58:33Denise Elizabeth Byron: at that.
- 1:58:34I know, right?
- 1:58:36It's a great way.
- 1:58:37See people too bad.
- 1:58:38People can't see that.
- 1:58:41Rupert Isaacson: Well, they will.
- 1:58:41'cause they're gonna watch this on YouTube.
- 1:58:43Denise Elizabeth Byron: Oh, okay.
- 1:58:44Great.
- 1:58:44They
- 1:58:44Rupert Isaacson: can see.
- 1:58:45Yeah.
- 1:58:45Denise Elizabeth Byron: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:58:46Okay.
- 1:58:46Excellent.
- 1:58:51Rupert Isaacson: I'm floored.
- 1:58:52Thank you.
- 1:58:52That's
- 1:58:52Denise Elizabeth Byron: a great way to end.
- 1:58:53I love
- 1:58:53Rupert Isaacson: it.
- 1:58:54What?
- 1:58:54What a way to end.
- 1:58:55Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:58:55Rupert Isaacson: Alright.
- 1:58:55I'll be in touch.
- 1:58:56We'll do the chat.
- 1:58:57Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:58:57Rupert Isaacson: All right.
- 1:58:58Denise Elizabeth Byron: Okay.
- 1:58:58Rupert Isaacson: Have a great rest of the day my friend.
