- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest!
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Sunshine
- 0:11Speaker 1: and warm heat. Highs in the mid-80s. It is Kiss
- 0:14Speaker 1: FM warming into this weekend. Good morning, everybody. Nice to
- 0:18Speaker 1: see all of y'all. Hello to the back room.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Good morning. Good morning.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Happy Ryan Day.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Is this the day where the
- 0:26Speaker 1: Ryans get together at the Ryan Club?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:28Speaker 1: And they all meet somewhere?
- 0:29Speaker 5: You and Ryan Murphy, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Felipe, Ryan Reynolds.
- 0:34Speaker 6: Did you make a list?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Did you actually have to write them down? Ryan Tedder.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Yes.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Ryan Tedder. No one's keeping us apart because we are
- 0:40Speaker 1: going to reunite. Ryan Tedder, that Ryan and I, we
- 0:43Speaker 1: have a reunion at Jingle Ball.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Coming up December 4th. We're already in a text chain
- 0:48Speaker 1: about it. He said they can't keep us apart anymore.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You should wish him a happy Ryan Day.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The Ryans are going to get together. Yes, I should
- 0:54Speaker 4: wish him a happy Ryan Day.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Happy Ryan Day, Ryan Tedder and Ryan Philippe A and
- 0:59Speaker 1: all the other Ryans that you mentioned there. I didn't
- 1:03Speaker 1: realize there were so many Ryans until you come up
- 1:05Speaker 1: with that list that you generated.
- 1:06Speaker 5: There's probably so many more that I just thought of
- 1:08Speaker 5: these really quickly. Yes.
- 1:11Speaker 1: We can tell.
- 1:12Speaker 7: So....
- 1:15Speaker 1: I have one of those procedures you got to get
- 1:17Speaker 1: every once in a while. And it's one of those
- 1:19Speaker 1: deals where you have to do a little prep at
- 1:20Speaker 1: the nighttime hours and you got to get that right.
- 1:23Speaker 1: And it's not so fun. You got to wake up
- 1:25Speaker 1: early and get to the place and do the thing
- 1:27Speaker 1: first thing. And I have to tell you what I
- 1:30Speaker 1: learned because I thought maybe, first of all, no coffee.
- 1:33Speaker 1: There was a real test for me. Not having coffee
- 1:36Speaker 1: for anything you got to do first thing medically in
- 1:38Speaker 1: the morning.
- 1:38Speaker 4: It was a real test for me. This is one
- 1:40Speaker 4: of those procedures you're supposed to do every once in
- 1:42Speaker 4: a while. So Fine.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Put it in the books. Never works out the day
- 1:45Speaker 1: you want to work out when you put it in
- 1:47Speaker 1: the books, but there it is.
- 1:48Speaker 3: You tried before and you failed. You couldn't do the
- 1:50Speaker 3: prep properly.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Well, I didn't read the prep note because I thought
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'd be fine. And I wasn't. You got to really
- 1:54Speaker 1: go through this systems clean out before you go. And
- 1:58Speaker 1: you're not allowed coffee in the morning or any liquid
- 2:00Speaker 1: or anything like that.
- 2:01Speaker 4: So fine. I deal with it.
- 2:02Speaker 1: But I thought, you know what I'm going to do?
- 2:03Speaker 1: I'm going to get there early. I'm going to pack
- 2:05Speaker 1: my coffee. And if I get there early before they open,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I'll be at the door. And I'll start early. I'll
- 2:10Speaker 1: finish early. My day can start early. And I'll have
- 2:13Speaker 1: my coffee there in my own thermos. Here's the newsflash
- 2:17Speaker 1: I learned. You can't start early. Even if you show
- 2:21Speaker 1: up beforehand or before they open, they start when they
- 2:25Speaker 1: tell you they're going to start. And there's no upshifting
- 2:27Speaker 1: the time. But I do, if you're a coffee drinker,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I don't know if people do this or not. I
- 2:32Speaker 1: do recommend for the procedure afterwards, pack your own so
- 2:36Speaker 1: you can have it when you get out of that
- 2:37Speaker 1: dress you got to put on. you can have your
- 2:39Speaker 1: coffee where you're putting your clothes back on. It was
- 2:41Speaker 1: kind of game changing for me.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Medical places are not the same as restaurants. You can't
- 2:45Speaker 5: just like show up early and try to get a table.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Like it's not a reservation. It's not like that.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I tried.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And they told me, they said they actually were making,
- 2:56Speaker 1: guys were wheeling into the little room for me to
- 2:59Speaker 1: turn on my side. They're like, he was here early.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 3: They're probably making fun of you.
- 3:05Speaker 1: How did he get in? Well, I got in because
- 3:08Speaker 1: someone let me into the lobby and I sat here. Anyway,
- 3:10Speaker 1: just turn me over and let's go. So bring your coffee.
- 3:14Speaker 1: That is my... life hack for you when you've got
- 3:17Speaker 1: an early morning procedure. Bring your thermos. It's going to
- 3:19Speaker 1: be so good. Olivia Rodrigo at our Jingle Ball presented
- 3:22Speaker 1: by Capital One and sold out tickets for you to
- 3:24Speaker 1: go see her and Hilary Duff and everybody in just
- 3:27Speaker 1: a few minutes on this Ryan Day, National Ryan Day.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Ryan Tedder will be there with OneRepublic. Excited.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So, Ruby, I find this so interesting. And I have friends.
- 3:37Speaker 1: female friends that they trade clothes they borrow clothes all
- 3:41Speaker 1: the time yes tanya i have friends what does that
- 3:46Speaker 1: even mean why we can put a pin in that
- 3:48Speaker 1: but sometimes they say love blossoms from the closest friendships
- 3:52Speaker 1: sometimes they do but i still have friends okay okay
- 3:55Speaker 1: anyway so and some of my female friends have said
- 3:57Speaker 1: that they give clothes to their roommates their friends and
- 4:00Speaker 1: they really have a hard time getting them back. And
- 4:03Speaker 1: so now, one of them has a checkout system where
- 4:06Speaker 1: you log in and you log out what you're borrowing
- 4:08Speaker 1: so that you get it back. I think it's pretty smart.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So what happened with your sister?
- 4:13Speaker 8: Yeah, basically, my sisters, we've always shared clothes since we
- 4:16Speaker 8: were young. And now we don't live together anymore. They
- 4:20Speaker 8: used to be my roommates, but they live six minutes away.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Okay.
- 4:22Speaker 8: And they still take my clothes, specifically my youngest sister.
- 4:25Speaker 8: And the other day I was in their garage and
- 4:29Speaker 8: I saw this like bag of clothes. So I just
- 4:31Speaker 8: like peeped in there because I'm curious what's in there.
- 4:34Speaker 8: And I see a bunch of my clothes, including like
- 4:37Speaker 8: one of my favorite tank tops, this really cute summer dress.
- 4:40Speaker 8: And I was like, what's this bag? And she's like, oh,
- 4:43Speaker 8: I'm going to donate it to Goodwill. And I was like,
- 4:46Speaker 8: that's my clothes. She's like, yeah, but you don't even
- 4:50Speaker 8: remember you had it. And I'm like, it's mine to
- 4:53Speaker 8: decide when I want to donate, not yours.
- 4:56Speaker 1: That is definitely a line crossed. It's one thing to
- 4:59Speaker 1: take your clothes and not tell you and then put
- 5:02Speaker 1: them back. But it's another thing then to like essentially
- 5:06Speaker 1: re-gift or re-donate them or re-give them away to another
- 5:10Speaker 1: party just because I think you don't like them.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I think you don't think about them.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Like I know for fact, there are certain clothes of
- 5:16Speaker 1: mine I never wear because I want them to be
- 5:19Speaker 1: always great.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Like I don't wear them. It's like that special shirt. Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 1: There's a, there are a couple of shirts I don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: wear ever because they're special shirts.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And it defeats the purpose.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 1: There's, I want them to be always in good shape
- 5:35Speaker 1: and ready to go. And if somebody wants to borrow
- 5:37Speaker 1: any of my stuff, I'm very specific about what they
- 5:41Speaker 1: can borrow because sometimes it doesn't come back.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It often doesn't come back.
- 5:45Speaker 8: And it's always the ones that you love the most too.
- 5:47Speaker 8: Like with my sisters, sometimes they won't ask. They'll just
- 5:50Speaker 8: come over and then the next day I'll see them
- 5:51Speaker 8: wearing something at dinner and I'm like, Oh, nice shirt.
- 5:54Speaker 8: That's my shirt. So that's when it's frustrating.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Because you're so close, they think they can get away
- 6:00Speaker 1: with it. That's what that's all about. You need to
- 6:02Speaker 1: get those clothes back. She cannot just donate them because
- 6:04Speaker 1: she decided that you don't like them.
- 6:06Speaker 8: Thank you for being on my side.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Respectfully, I'm on your sister's side.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:10Speaker 1: When you get them back, if you don't use them,
- 6:12Speaker 1: donate them.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Be nice.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Giving you those Jingle Ball tickets every hour to
- 6:15Speaker 1: our sold out show. Coming up in December. So, Tanya,
- 6:19Speaker 1: this is interesting because you were telling me that you've
- 6:21Speaker 1: got a friend who likes a guy. Are you seeing
- 6:23Speaker 1: the guy? Is she with the guy who's got the dog?
- 6:25Speaker 3: They're dating. They're not exclusive.
- 6:27Speaker 1: They're dating.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But he's got a dog and she's not a dog person.
- 6:31Speaker 1: She's trying to learn how to like dogs.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Yes. So he has a dog and he's obsessed with
- 6:35Speaker 5: his dog. He actually has a black lab. So it's
- 6:37Speaker 5: like a bigger dog.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So far you're telling my story.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:42Speaker 3: She's not dating you.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Um, but she, she's not, she's not afraid of dogs.
- 6:47Speaker 3: She's just like not a dog person.
- 6:49Speaker 5: You know, like, you know, when like the dogs go
- 6:51Speaker 5: up to her, she kind of like taps them very
- 6:52Speaker 5: like gently. She's not warm and fuzzy with them. So
- 6:55Speaker 5: she's using my dog, Sunny, as like exposure therapy to
- 6:58Speaker 5: like come over and help her like kind of get
- 7:01Speaker 5: over this thing that she has with dogs because of
- 7:06Speaker 5: this guy that she's dating. And I'm like, why do
- 7:08Speaker 5: we always go to these extreme lengths to like?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Be something that we're not.
- 7:12Speaker 1: This isn't so extreme to try and like a dog.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I mean, I like that she's making the effort. This
- 7:17Speaker 1: is like me and kids. When my friends ask me
- 7:19Speaker 1: to hold their brand new babies, I am terrified and scared.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I just, I don't know what to do. I'm so
- 7:25Speaker 1: out of place.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I don't know how to hold them. I want to
- 7:27Speaker 1: give them back quickly, but I'm nervous about the transaction
- 7:30Speaker 1: of giving them back the time, you know, like the handover.
- 7:33Speaker 4: So I understand.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I mean, if I was dating somebody with kids, I'd
- 7:37Speaker 1: have to have exposure to To some kids.
- 7:40Speaker 6: Yes.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Who's got them around here? Mark, I'd be coming over
- 7:43Speaker 1: to see you and Amy. I mean, my kids, I
- 7:45Speaker 1: got one in college and one's a senior in high school.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Wrong, wrong.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You can tell me the stories about newborns.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Okay, great.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You can remember.
- 7:51Speaker 1: We'll look at photos.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Listen, I commend your friend because I would not, like,
- 7:56Speaker 4: I would just think me and him are not meant
- 7:58Speaker 4: to be because I would not be able to do that. Honestly,
- 8:01Speaker 4: we would just not be. You're not a dog person? Well,
- 8:03Speaker 4: I just am afraid of animals. So dogs, cats, anything.
- 8:06Speaker 4: So I would not try. Ronnie, let's, It's the root.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Why are you afraid of... Why animal? Why? Dogs, come on.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Dogs, they're the best.
- 8:16Speaker 4: They're the best.
- 8:16Speaker 1: A lot of them are better than humans.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Your dog, I'm fine with. Sunny, I'm fine with.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Fine?
- 8:22Speaker 1: You're not fine with my dog. You don't like my
- 8:24Speaker 1: dog or love my dog. Don't be fine, settle, mid. Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 8:29Speaker 4: That's like a synonym. But I cannot just be around
- 8:34Speaker 4: them all the time. I would be just fine being
- 8:36Speaker 4: with you, but I would not intentionally try to date
- 8:39Speaker 4: you if you did have a dog or a cat.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Dang.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Wow.
- 8:44Speaker 1: The things I'm learning about you, Ronnie, there's so much
- 8:47Speaker 1: I love. And then you throw this at me and
- 8:49Speaker 1: I don't understand. Now that I'm a dog person, I
- 8:51Speaker 1: don't understand. I couldn't be with somebody who's not a
- 8:53Speaker 1: dog lover.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Not everybody is dog lovers.
- 8:55Speaker 4: But I do like your dog. Like I'm fine with
- 8:58Speaker 4: your dog.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He doesn't like that. I'm fine working with you, but
- 9:02Speaker 1: I don't want to find out. My dog is so innocent.
- 9:05Speaker 1: All right. Now listen, If you've got a midterm exam
- 9:08Speaker 1: coming up, I've got the best time, they say, for
- 9:10Speaker 1: your brain to retain, to study. I'll tell you about that.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And a quote of the day. Study for midterms. Check
- 9:15Speaker 1: this out. There's a perfect time of day to study
- 9:17Speaker 1: for the big test and head to the library at
- 9:20Speaker 1: 4 o'clock.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Here's why.
- 9:21Speaker 1: 4 p.m. They say your body temperature rises between four
- 9:25Speaker 1: and six. So your long-term memory is at its sharpest.
- 9:29Speaker 1: That would not work for me. By four o'clock, especially six,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I'm winding down.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Good night.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Four to six is peak time for you to study.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Today's quote, we do it every day. Peace begins when
- 9:43Speaker 1: the expectation ends.
- 9:48Speaker 4: I agree.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Do we need a clock to figure this out? Start
- 9:51Speaker 1: the clock.
- 9:52Speaker 3: This one's tough for me.
- 9:53Speaker 1: It was just blank stares. 102.7 Kiss FM. He is
- 9:57Speaker 1: not a dog liker, but I'm going to give him
- 9:59Speaker 1: some air time here coming up in a second. Ronnie
- 10:02Speaker 1: is in the studio, digital head of content here at Kiss.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Does a great job. Also free gas. Next time you're out,
- 10:07Speaker 1: you got to post some of those videos of people
- 10:09Speaker 1: when they find out they're getting their free gas tank.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I definitely am because yeah, people get so excited. Like
- 10:14Speaker 4: they really need this. Gas is so expensive. So I'm
- 10:17Speaker 4: happy to help.
- 10:18Speaker 1: You're trying to find an NFL team, and you want
- 10:20Speaker 1: to find the NFL team with the cutest fans. Am
- 10:23Speaker 1: I hearing this right? Yes.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I don't watch sports, if you can't tell, but I
- 10:28Speaker 4: am trying to find an NFL team because I have FOMO,
- 10:31Speaker 4: so I want to be a part of it.
- 10:33Speaker 1: We're going to cast some judgment on this process coming
- 10:35Speaker 1: up in a minute.
- 10:37Speaker 4: First, Sisney, the headlines.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Kiss FM headlines with Sisney.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Well, the National Weather Service has issued a red flag
- 10:43Speaker 7: warning for L.A. County starting at 6 tomorrow morning and
- 10:47Speaker 7: running through 10 p.m.
- 10:48Speaker 3: On Friday.
- 10:50Speaker 7: In fact, a wildfire erupted in Brentwood early this morning
- 10:54Speaker 7: and scorched two acres of the Barrington Park before being contained.
- 11:00Speaker 7: If you're heading to LAX this morning, your flight may
- 11:04Speaker 7: be delayed. A ground stop was issued yesterday. around 4 a.m.
- 11:09Speaker 7: and lifted around 5. And the Dodgers play Game 3
- 11:13Speaker 7: in the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers today,
- 11:17Speaker 7: 5 p.m.
- 11:19Speaker 1: At Dodger Stadium. Kiss FM, he's got a following. He
- 11:22Speaker 1: goes out and gives away free gas, and people are
- 11:24Speaker 1: showing up to meet Ronnie in our digital department. Thanks
- 11:27Speaker 1: for being here. He's the life of the party. He's
- 11:29Speaker 1: the spirit stick, and we love it. Great energy. It's contagious.
- 11:32Speaker 4: We appreciate it.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Just got back from a mother-son cruise with his mom.
- 11:37Speaker 1: And now what has inspired you to finally decide to
- 11:40Speaker 1: pick an NFL team to get behind?
- 11:42Speaker 4: So I have FOMO and I really am not a
- 11:44Speaker 4: big sports person. And I feel like, you know, Tanya
- 11:47Speaker 4: watches sports, Destiny watches sports, you watch sports. Well, you
- 11:50Speaker 4: like by proxy. I watch sport.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Oh, one sport.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I watch sport. I watch football, college. So even, well,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I watch some NFL too, but I watch sport, only football. See,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and I don't watch anything.
- 12:00Speaker 4: And I have FOMO because it looks like a lot
- 12:02Speaker 4: of fun to, you know, wear your little team jersey
- 12:04Speaker 4: and all of that jazz. So my friend suggested that
- 12:08Speaker 4: I need to find my own team. And you know,
- 12:10Speaker 4: there's a bunch of bars in LA that root for
- 12:12Speaker 4: very specific teams. So now I'm going to these different
- 12:15Speaker 4: bars to see really who has the cutest fans to
- 12:18Speaker 4: act like I also like football, but just to find
- 12:21Speaker 4: my own team. Okay. So far, what have you learned
- 12:24Speaker 4: about who has the cutest fans? Well, so I've been
- 12:27Speaker 4: to Busby's in Santa Monica. This is a Buffalo Bills bar. Well,
- 12:32Speaker 4: kind of.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But can we not just hone in on what's practical?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Chargers or Rams, bro? Just test the Chargers or the Rams.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I know, but I want to just broaden my options.
- 12:44Speaker 5: The heart wants what it wants, Ryan. You can't just
- 12:46Speaker 5: tell him to go Rams or Chargers.
- 12:49Speaker 1: With due respect here, you're not a sports person. I'm
- 12:51Speaker 1: a sports person.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Don't you want to be able to go to a
- 12:55Speaker 1: game with the fans, not just the bars? You need
- 12:58Speaker 1: something practical. Chargers or Rams?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Well, that too, but aren't game tickets pretty pricey?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 4: So I need to test it out before I full
- 13:06Speaker 4: send and commit. I don't want to just spend money
- 13:09Speaker 4: if I don't know you.
- 13:11Speaker 1: This is a problem. I don't think you should let
- 13:12Speaker 1: other people in the bar know this is your process
- 13:14Speaker 1: for picking their team. I'm just going to warn you
- 13:17Speaker 1: that people have a lot of pride in the NFL
- 13:20Speaker 1: team that they root for, especially here with our two teams.
- 13:23Speaker 1: chargers rams i mean look at the uniforms can you
- 13:26Speaker 1: pick a color that you like better with the uniforms
- 13:28Speaker 1: you like light blue or dark blue.
- 13:30Speaker 4: You know i will go to a chargers game i
- 13:32Speaker 4: like the lightning bolt logo.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Why do i feel like people are not going to
- 13:37Speaker 1: want to meet you when you say things like that
- 13:39Speaker 1: at a chargers game all right coming up a thousand
- 13:42Speaker 1: dollars to pay a bill kiss fm so do you
- 13:45Speaker 1: appreciate it do you like it when your friends try
- 13:47Speaker 1: to set you up i think the answer is no
- 13:49Speaker 1: there's too much Pressure because of collateral damage. If it
- 13:53Speaker 1: doesn't go well, if it doesn't go right, then you
- 13:56Speaker 1: got to deal with your friend and the person you
- 13:59Speaker 1: didn't connect with. Tanya, go ahead with the trending report first. Respectfully.
- 14:03Speaker 5: I disagree, but Anna Navarro from the view revealed that
- 14:07Speaker 5: she tried to basically play matchmaker for Ben Affleck and
- 14:10Speaker 5: Shakira side. No, she's never met Ben Affleck before, but
- 14:13Speaker 5: she was at a Shakira concert. Matt Damon was there and,
- 14:16Speaker 5: who is ben's best friend and she pitched the idea
- 14:18Speaker 5: to him and then matt said that it would be
- 14:21Speaker 5: complicated okay entertainment tonight asked ben about it while he
- 14:25Speaker 5: was promoting his new netflix movie animals he had no
- 14:28Speaker 5: idea and he finds this stuff out from reporters like
- 14:30Speaker 5: on the red carpet like he literally had no idea
- 14:32Speaker 5: about any of this and he said i don't really
- 14:33Speaker 5: ever get set up and then he basically said dating
- 14:36Speaker 5: is just not a big priority in his life right
- 14:38Speaker 5: now um but i feel like when someone is single,
- 14:42Speaker 5: everybody around them treats it like a problem that needs
- 14:45Speaker 5: to be fixed. But my question is, is it okay
- 14:47Speaker 5: to set up a friend who never even asked to
- 14:49Speaker 5: be set up? Like Ben Affleck didn't ask for this,
- 14:51Speaker 5: but I think it's so, I think it's such a
- 14:53Speaker 5: compliment that people are wanting to set him up. I mean,
- 14:56Speaker 5: especially with Shakira, like she's amazing.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Well, that's a different, a whole different universe, but. Some
- 15:01Speaker 1: people like the pre-screen of being set up with somebody
- 15:04Speaker 1: that you know. However, what happens more often than not
- 15:08Speaker 1: is that one of your friends is like, oh, Ronnie's single.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So-and-so is single. Let me set you up. And I
- 15:14Speaker 1: think that's insulting. Just the only common denominator is that
- 15:19Speaker 1: we're single and you think that we're going to hit
- 15:21Speaker 1: it off and be a match. That's more common. And
- 15:24Speaker 1: I think that is an insult.
- 15:26Speaker 6: With all due.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Respect, a lot of matchmakers... dig a little bit deeper
- 15:31Speaker 5: than that. They're like, Oh, you like X, Y, and Z.
- 15:33Speaker 5: You like olive oil and your mom.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And so I'm talking about, you asked me not about matchmakers,
- 15:38Speaker 1: about friends who want to set you up. And friends
- 15:41Speaker 1: often say you're both single.
- 15:42Speaker 4: You should hit it off.
- 15:43Speaker 1: It doesn't work like that. So don't waste your time
- 15:45Speaker 1: like that. Too much risk, Ronnie. I feel like who
- 15:48Speaker 1: knows you better than your friends. Like friends are a great,
- 15:51Speaker 1: like person to set you up with someone else.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 15:54Speaker 1: But when it doesn't go well, you've got to let
- 15:56Speaker 1: your friend down and that person down. And most of
- 15:59Speaker 1: the time, Ronnie from experience, it's not going to work out.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I can agree with that too.
- 16:05Speaker 1: It's a lot of work.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It's physical work. This show.
- 16:07Speaker 1: We have the sold out jingle ball tickets on the
- 16:09Speaker 1: line in Carson for Teresa, who is on the line.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Good morning, Teresa.
- 16:14Speaker 4: How are you doing?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Oh my God. Ryan. Pleasure to talk to you.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Well, I love that response, I think, unless you have
- 16:24Speaker 1: something to tell me that I'm not aware of.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Actually, I'm excited, but I don't want to be too
- 16:30Speaker 2: excited because I feel like the game might be difficult.
- 16:34Speaker 4: No, no, no. It's easy.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We come up with very simple games, and we appreciate
- 16:39Speaker 1: your enthusiasm and listening and that reaction when I get
- 16:42Speaker 1: on the phone. That could either go really well or bad.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I don't know sometimes.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So, here it is. The game is called Which City
- 16:48Speaker 1: Has More? Panda Expresses. Which city has more? We're going
- 16:54Speaker 1: to give you a chain and two cities. Panda Express
- 16:57Speaker 1: is the chain. You got to get three right before
- 17:00Speaker 1: you get three wrong, okay? Which city has more? Which
- 17:04Speaker 1: city has more Panda Express locations? Rancho Cucamonga or Pico Rivera?
- 17:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 17:12Speaker 8: Wow.
- 17:14Speaker 5: I'm going to say Pico Rivera.
- 17:19Speaker 1: No, it's Rancho Cucamonga. They've got four to two.
- 17:22Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 17:22Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I mean, who really knows this off the top of
- 17:24Speaker 1: their head?
- 17:25Speaker 4: It's difficult.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You've got to get warm on Panda Expresses. The next one,
- 17:29Speaker 1: Santa Clarita or Fontana. Who has more Panda Expresses?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Oh, boy. I'm going to get three strikes. I feel it.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I'm going to say Fontana just because I feel like
- 17:39Speaker 2: it's more populated.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Well, the positive news is you are predicting your wrong answers. Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 1: you are predicting correctly, but it's the wrong answer. So
- 17:49Speaker 1: you did think you were wrong again.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Which is correct. But you were wrong.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It's Santa Clarita to Fontana. Six to three.
- 17:56Speaker 4: All right.
- 17:58Speaker 1: To stay in it, which city has more Panda Express locations?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Is it West Covina or Palmdale?
- 18:07Speaker 5: Ryan.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Ryan.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm looking at my crystal ball. I'm going to say,
- 18:11Speaker 2: what's Karina?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Well, your crystal ball has some power because you did
- 18:16Speaker 1: predict you would get three in a row wrong, and
- 18:18Speaker 1: you have done that.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Which is worth something. Yeah, yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I think earlier on one of the earlier shows, we
- 18:30Speaker 1: did say that sort of admitting to your flaw, knowing
- 18:33Speaker 1: what's being said about you and having fun with it,
- 18:35Speaker 1: being in on the joke, is confident and you've shown
- 18:39Speaker 1: some real confidence here, Teresa, in knowing you get three
- 18:42Speaker 1: in a row wrong. And for that alone, I'm going
- 18:45Speaker 1: to get you tickets to our jingle ball.
- 18:46Speaker 4: We will see you there.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Ryan, thank you.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You guys are so wonderful.
- 19:02Speaker 2: God bless you.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Love you, Teresa. And I'm so happy you will be there.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You've got all the right attitude and spirit.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 1: On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Well, happy you're here on
- 19:15Speaker 1: a Wednesday morning. I was just looking at this article
- 19:17Speaker 1: this morning.
- 19:18Speaker 4: It came up.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It says, we spend, Americans spend about $ 13. 5 billion on Halloween,
- 19:24Speaker 1: and that will happen again this year. $ 13. 5 billion on Halloween. Karen,
- 19:30Speaker 1: some of that $ 13. 5 billion is being spent by your
- 19:32Speaker 1: neighbors for the large candy bars. So good morning, and
- 19:36Speaker 1: how are you? Good morning.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'm good, but I have a dilemma, and that's why
- 19:42Speaker 2: I need your advice.
- 19:44Speaker 4: All right.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So I understand it's your kids. They want to go
- 19:46Speaker 1: to a street with a bigger, better deal.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 2: They want to go to Toluca Lake because that's where
- 19:52Speaker 2: their friends, parents take them. And that's where they hand
- 19:56Speaker 2: out those full size candy bars.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And what is your position on this? So they come
- 20:01Speaker 1: to you, they ask for it. What do you say
- 20:02Speaker 1: to them?
- 20:05Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I don't want to drive my
- 20:08Speaker 2: kids across town just so they can get better candy.
- 20:11Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Like, when I was a kid,
- 20:13Speaker 2: you put on your costume, you grabbed a pillowcase, and
- 20:16Speaker 2: you walked around your own neighborhood, you know? You went
- 20:19Speaker 2: to your neighbor's houses, you said trick-or-treat, and whatever they
- 20:22Speaker 2: gave you, that was your candy.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Now, this is going to be unpopular with kids, but
- 20:27Speaker 1: I have to tell you, and every time you say,
- 20:29Speaker 1: when I was a kid, your kids can't stand it.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. I know, I know.
- 20:33Speaker 2: They always roll their eyes.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Here's what I, here's what I hear when you say that.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And I think you're right. When you say when I
- 20:39Speaker 1: was a kid, there are so few things these days
- 20:42Speaker 1: that we can actually say when I was a kid
- 20:44Speaker 1: and then have them experience because with, you know, AI
- 20:48Speaker 1: and with phones and with social, you can't say, I mean,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'd be able to take that stuff away from them,
- 20:52Speaker 1: but this, this, you can keep them from having that
- 20:55Speaker 1: experience of getting the larger candy bar and appreciate the large,
- 20:58Speaker 1: they're going to appreciate that. the size of a candy
- 21:01Speaker 1: bar for the rest of their lives because they had
- 21:03Speaker 1: to go out with their knapsack and they had to
- 21:06Speaker 1: earn their little bite-sized candies. And I know it's probably
- 21:10Speaker 1: not popular with the kids, your kids especially, but I
- 21:12Speaker 1: don't think that's such a bad idea. It's your neighborhood.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's your street. Going to do it in your community
- 21:18Speaker 1: is part of Halloween. Not going to take from others.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Not when all of your friends and their parents are
- 21:24Speaker 5: taking them to the big size camp.
- 21:25Speaker 1: But how do the people on that street feel about
- 21:28Speaker 1: all these intruders? I don't know if they love it.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I'm sure they love it. I'm sure they do.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Because there's those streets that are like the Halloween streets.
- 21:34Speaker 5: And they prepare for all the trick-or-treaters to come and
- 21:38Speaker 5: take all their candy.
- 21:39Speaker 4: They're like... built for it and I agree I feel
- 21:42Speaker 4: like when I was a kid I always remembered getting
- 21:44Speaker 4: the big candy bars and you always want to go
- 21:46Speaker 4: back to the house and you're in costume so the
- 21:47Speaker 4: neighbors aren't going to really know if you live there
- 21:49Speaker 4: or not yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 1: No when Ronnie says that he means 2023 okay that's
- 21:52Speaker 1: the year he's talking about so Karen all right I
- 21:56Speaker 1: you have all the views on it it's up to
- 21:58Speaker 1: you I think you know what you really want to
- 22:01Speaker 1: do deep down inside the question is do you cave
- 22:03Speaker 1: keep us posted happy Halloween.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Thank you thank you so much Ryan I appreciate you
- 22:07Speaker 2: I appreciate.
- 22:08Speaker 4: You thank you I appreciate you.
- 22:10Speaker 5: I feel like it's too soon to say happy Halloween.
- 22:13Speaker 4: No, it's your problem.
- 22:14Speaker 3: It's not like.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I say it all month long.
- 22:16Speaker 3: You do?
- 22:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Happy Halloween. It's October. Happy Halloween.
- 22:19Speaker 3: It's not like Christmas.
- 22:22Speaker 1: To many people, it is like Christmas. It's $ 13. 5 billion,
- 22:26Speaker 1: $ 115 a person on average. So we have a stacked
- 22:28Speaker 1: lineup for our Jingle Ball presented by Capital One. I've
- 22:31Speaker 1: got your tickets to win in just a second, like
- 22:33Speaker 1: within minutes right now. Hilary Duff is going to be there. Ray, OneRepublic,
- 22:38Speaker 1: Sienna Spiro, Bella Kay, Stella Lefty, The Beaches.
- 22:43Speaker 4: And Olivia Rodrigo.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Now, Olivia Rodrigo's out on tour. She's doing her thing,
- 22:46Speaker 1: and she has the dissolving dress, Reigns, and people are
- 22:49Speaker 1: loving that. I'm seeing that all over social.
- 22:51Speaker 3: It's so cool.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And the other thing people are talking about is this
- 22:56Speaker 1: giant heart-shaped pink guitar.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Tanya, you got some background on that.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Yes.
- 23:00Speaker 3: So it's exactly what you said.
- 23:01Speaker 5: It's a pink, and it's shaped like a heart, and
- 23:04Speaker 5: it's impossible to miss. But it turns out that that
- 23:07Speaker 5: this guitar was made right here in East LA by
- 23:10Speaker 5: a local technician named Luis Munoz, who runs this tiny
- 23:15Speaker 5: repair shop, okay? So he was working as Olivia's guitar
- 23:18Speaker 5: tech when her team asked him to make her a
- 23:20Speaker 5: custom guitar. And he said, I've only got one shot
- 23:24Speaker 5: and it has to be made with love. So he
- 23:26Speaker 5: built this whole thing by hand. It took five prototypes
- 23:30Speaker 5: to get the heart shape just right. He says it
- 23:33Speaker 5: had to look cool, but it also had to be
- 23:34Speaker 5: comfortable to play. And most importantly, it had to be
- 23:37Speaker 5: It needed to sound good. And here's the really cool part.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Olivia could really have gone with any guitar company in
- 23:43Speaker 5: the world, but she trusted this little shop in East
- 23:46Speaker 5: LA to make it for her. So when Olivia brings
- 23:48Speaker 5: this heart-shaped guitar out to Jingle Ball, keep an eye
- 23:51Speaker 5: out because it came straight from our backyard.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very cool. I think that, you know, those
- 23:57Speaker 1: stories are, I love hearing that behind the scenes stuff.
- 23:59Speaker 1: This FM, good morning, Wednesday, the 14th of October. It
- 24:03Speaker 1: is National Orion Day, Tanya told me earlier. So if
- 24:05Speaker 1: you know Orion- Celebrate them?
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, send them a text. Send some love.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Sunshine and warm highs in the mid-80s warming up into
- 24:14Speaker 1: the weekend once again. We have more of the sold-out
- 24:16Speaker 1: Jingle Ball tickets after 9. But Ronnie, let's hone in
- 24:19Speaker 1: on this compliment you got from your hot yoga instructor
- 24:22Speaker 1: because it is interesting. You were told you're so good.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You're such a natural at hot yoga that you could
- 24:28Speaker 1: really be an instructor. Now, I'm hearing bittersweetness because if
- 24:33Speaker 1: you don't work here and you become a hot yoga
- 24:35Speaker 1: instructor and you get a big following, you go on
- 24:38Speaker 1: a big national tour, there'll be less Ronnie here at
- 24:41Speaker 1: Kiss FM. So tell me what you're considering.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Well, that is true. And I would still work here because,
- 24:46Speaker 4: you know, it's only an hour a day. So I
- 24:48Speaker 4: would still have my job. This will be like a
- 24:50Speaker 4: little side hustle. But yes, I have been doing hot
- 24:53Speaker 4: yoga every day this year, you guys, which is crazy.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I don't even know what the number of classes is
- 24:59Speaker 4: that I've gone to. But every single day. And my teacher,
- 25:01Speaker 4: I love her. She is like, oh, my goodness, you
- 25:04Speaker 4: are so good. Like, you really are lifting the weights
- 25:06Speaker 4: and doing the thing. She thinks I should be a
- 25:09Speaker 4: teacher and do the teacher training. Yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Are you sure she's being genuine? A lot of people
- 25:14Speaker 1: throw that stuff out. Like, you're really good at this class.
- 25:17Speaker 1: You should be an instructor. And they don't really mean it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And I have to tell you, Ronnie, I don't think
- 25:21Speaker 1: it's just one hour a day. I think I do
- 25:23Speaker 1: more than a class.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 25:24Speaker 4: No, for the training, it's like 30 plus.
- 25:27Speaker 1: When you're a teacher, like my younger person teaches several
- 25:30Speaker 1: classes a day.
- 25:31Speaker 8: Oh.
- 25:32Speaker 1: See, I may want to investigate.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't know if I could commit to that,
- 25:36Speaker 4: but I wanted to just mainly, I want to become
- 25:38Speaker 4: a teacher just for the playlist of it all. Like
- 25:41Speaker 4: I love the music that we hear in class and
- 25:43Speaker 4: I know I would have such a great playlist, but
- 25:46Speaker 4: I don't know if I could be a teacher because
- 25:47Speaker 4: you know how yoga instructors have in Pilates and all
- 25:50Speaker 4: of that have a very specific voice where they're like, yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 4: very soothing.
- 25:54Speaker 1: And I don't know that I can hear your soothing.
- 25:56Speaker 1: If you were to be soothing, what would it sound like?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:59Speaker 4: This would be my hot yoga voice.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Inhale.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Exhale. That's fine.
- 26:06Speaker 1: You're a natural at the voice.
- 26:08Speaker 4: You could just.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Be recording one of the calm apps or something. You
- 26:12Speaker 1: don't have to actually do the class. I'm curious to
- 26:15Speaker 1: know about hot yoga. I don't like to work out
- 26:18Speaker 1: in the heat so much. It's not like my thing.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I don't love it. Do you notice a big difference?
- 26:22Speaker 1: You say you've been doing it consistently. What have you
- 26:24Speaker 1: noticed in terms of your body?
- 26:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:26Speaker 4: So I think it's been so good because all the
- 26:29Speaker 4: sweat has really, I feel like just been making me
- 26:32Speaker 4: less bloated. It's just really getting rid of all the
- 26:34Speaker 4: toxins in my body.
- 26:35Speaker 1: You aren't bloated at all. Ronnie, you have a six pack.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I've seen so many pictures of you without clothes on.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I mean, they're on Instagram.
- 26:41Speaker 4: I mean, so do you. But yeah, I'm like, look,
- 26:43Speaker 4: I'm trying to get my body like yours. So see,
- 26:45Speaker 4: you're saying I'm fit. I'm trying to be your level
- 26:47Speaker 4: of fit.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Well, this is my favorite day of the year that
- 26:49Speaker 1: you just said that. I really appreciate that. I'm going
- 26:51Speaker 1: to take this tape and I'm playing on a loop somewhere.
- 26:54Speaker 1: But hot yoga, I mean, you think about the heat
- 26:55Speaker 1: we've had. That was probably cooler in the studio than
- 26:58Speaker 1: it was in LA. Oh, yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I definitely think so. It's so hot in there. The
- 27:03Speaker 4: teachers commend you for coming in when it's hot, but
- 27:06Speaker 4: I have no choice.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Well, keep us posted. You do have the voice for it.
- 27:09Speaker 1: And if it's working for you and it's putting you
- 27:10Speaker 1: in a good place, then... Maybe it's a side hustle
- 27:13Speaker 1: you pursue. I'm one to say yes to a lot
- 27:15Speaker 1: of jobs at the same time. So I advocate a
- 27:18Speaker 1: side hustle or four. seven kiss FM. Let's pay another
- 27:26Speaker 1: bill for you. And hi, what's up? Getting it going
- 27:30Speaker 1: on a Wednesday morning. So Tanya, it's a football trend.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It's a basically calling the play by play in football
- 27:37Speaker 1: where your spouse turns their back to the TV. And
- 27:40Speaker 1: then you, the wife or girlfriend in this case, and
- 27:43Speaker 1: the challenge has to do the play by play. Is
- 27:45Speaker 1: that right?
- 27:45Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 27:46Speaker 5: So you're kind of saying what you're seeing on the
- 27:48Speaker 5: TV without really knowing any, having any football knowledge.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Well, this was authentic because you don't know much about football. Correct.
- 27:56Speaker 1: And it was probably easy for you to not know
- 27:58Speaker 1: much about football. So you got Ravi up, you turned
- 28:00Speaker 1: him around, and you recorded it. Correct. It's called the
- 28:04Speaker 1: Wife Commentary Challenge. That's what it's called on TikTok?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:07Speaker 3: And these videos are.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Hilarious. Like, your video was hilarious. Are we going to
- 28:11Speaker 4: put the videos up?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:12Speaker 4: We have to repost it because it's so, so good.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Okay. Get the videos up, Ronnie. Here's the audio of
- 28:18Speaker 1: the video.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I threw it to this guy who caught it.
- 28:21Speaker 4: What yard line are they on? He was far.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yeah, number five. He was by the 40.
- 28:26Speaker 4: No, he couldn't be by the 40.
- 28:29Speaker 2: 10?
- 28:29Speaker 3: 10, by the 10.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Can you not see the numbers?
- 28:33Speaker 4: No.
- 28:33Speaker 6: That's easy.
- 28:34Speaker 3: They looked, and his seat was covering, respectfully.
- 28:37Speaker 1: The numbers are on the field on both sides, I think,
- 28:41Speaker 1: of the field in big numerical numbers. How can you
- 28:46Speaker 1: think the 10, the 40? Also, don't you see the
- 28:48Speaker 1: colored logo in the end zone?
- 28:50Speaker 3: No, I saw no colors. He kept asking me about colors,
- 28:52Speaker 3: and I was like, no.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Your husband has the most patience of any human being
- 28:58Speaker 1: on this planet. It's really remarkable.
- 29:00Speaker 5: I will say it was really bonding. We never watched
- 29:02Speaker 5: sports together, and this was actually very fun to do
- 29:05Speaker 5: with him.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Well, let's see how fun this clip is.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I think the red has the... Yeah, red has it.
- 29:10Speaker 3: He handed... Todd just.
- 29:13Speaker 5: why do they run into the pile of men?
- 29:14Speaker 1: Like, that's actually, that is my favorite. Why do they
- 29:20Speaker 1: run into the pile of men? You know, they're trying
- 29:22Speaker 1: to avoid the men. That's the thing. So the key,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I don't know what Robbie said here. We'll get in
- 29:25Speaker 1: a second, but the point is they're trying to get the, the,
- 29:29Speaker 1: the inflated little object and take it without touching any boys.
- 29:32Speaker 1: I know any men.
- 29:33Speaker 5: So why would they run around the big pile of men.
- 29:37Speaker 1: That you're, you're catching on to this. That's what they're
- 29:40Speaker 1: trying to do.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Why would you run around them? Why are we running
- 29:43Speaker 3: through them? Very stupid to run into a pile of men.
- 29:46Speaker 1: This is a very practical. Actually, I'm on your side.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Practical question.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 29:51Speaker 1: The play was designed for the guys in the front
- 29:55Speaker 1: to push the other guys out of the way in
- 29:57Speaker 1: the middle to let the other guy in the back
- 29:58Speaker 1: go through the hole.
- 29:59Speaker 5: Yes. He's like, you have to establish the run. I'm like,
- 30:01Speaker 5: you're not establishing anything here.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You know, you're asking the right questions if.
- 30:06Speaker 4: You don't know. You should run around them. So it
- 30:08Speaker 4: opens up the path.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Because then you can run farther.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Did he make the whole game with you, or did
- 30:13Speaker 1: he just bail?
- 30:14Speaker 4: Well, I got to a.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Touchdown, and then we ended it.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 30:16Speaker 3: And number nine has it, passes it. Another guy running.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Oh, wow, he's running.
- 30:19Speaker 3: He's going far.
- 30:21Speaker 4: He got a touchdown. He did number seven.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You got it. You understand me?
- 30:26Speaker 6: I know.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Success in the challenge.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I actually learned something. I learned the difference between a
- 30:30Speaker 5: pass and a run doing this with him. So I
- 30:32Speaker 5: think if I do it more, I actually will learn
- 30:34Speaker 5: like a little.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Bit about football. If I listen to your progression there,
- 30:38Speaker 1: you're going to, you're going to be great at this
- 30:40Speaker 1: and you're going to love the game. The two of
- 30:41Speaker 1: you can have a new thing to do together. And
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm very excited for your coupleship.
- 30:44Speaker 3: That's cute. Thank you.
- 30:46Speaker 1: And learning about a pass and a run. That is
- 30:48Speaker 1: the first step, but it's good in the right direction.
- 30:50Speaker 1: 2.7 Kiss FM. All right, Fonzie the phone screener. That's
- 30:55Speaker 1: how I started right there, Fonzie. Phone screening. Answering the calls.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Coming in all morning. Now, gratitude. Yamaste. What a great
- 31:04Speaker 1: assignment you've got here, Fonzie.
- 31:06Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, it was so much fun. I am so
- 31:09Speaker 6: happy to be back into the Halloween spirit. I haven't
- 31:11Speaker 6: really done haunted attractions ever, so this was such a
- 31:15Speaker 6: fun time.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Side note, Fonzie's excited just like that about everything in life.
- 31:20Speaker 4: All right.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. He's named his five scariest
- 31:24Speaker 1: and we've got the sound. Fonzie, what's the first one
- 31:27Speaker 1: we're going to hear at Halloween Horror Nights?
- 31:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 6: So I started off with Ozzy Osbourne and this one
- 31:32Speaker 6: was really fun.
- 31:33Speaker 4: It was really scary.
- 31:33Speaker 6: But also what I loved about it was it was
- 31:36Speaker 6: an homage to Ozzy Osbourne. You know, he just passed
- 31:38Speaker 6: away recently last year. And so it was just a
- 31:41Speaker 6: great time just keeping his memory alive.
- 31:43Speaker 4: So it was a fun time. All right.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Here is Fonzie, Halloween Horror Nights, Ozzy Osbourne.
- 31:48Speaker 6: Ah, that's so creepy.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Stop it.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I mean, I love the homage and you're paying tribute,
- 31:59Speaker 1: but not scary. If you're chuckling along the way, not scary.
- 32:01Speaker 1: This one is Sinners. Okay, here's Sinners. So this is interesting.
- 32:11Speaker 1: When you are terrified, you chuckle like that?
- 32:14Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. It's a nervous laughter. It's like a nervous tick.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 32:17Speaker 1: You don't scream? Like if someone cuts you off on
- 32:19Speaker 1: the 405, you laugh?
- 32:22Speaker 6: No, I normally yell, but in anger.
- 32:24Speaker 1: All right, so that was Sinners. Here's Evil Deadburn. How'd
- 32:28Speaker 1: you do?
- 32:29Speaker 4: Oh, this one, they started getting me here. Oh my gosh.
- 32:35Speaker 6: I mean, look, I will say, I think I did
- 32:39Speaker 6: a great job. I was holding myself together. The last
- 32:42Speaker 6: two phases was where I really started getting tested.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. These are progressing in scariness.
- 32:48Speaker 1: And so up to the top two, the top two
- 32:49Speaker 1: scariest ones based on Fonzie experiencing them all. stranger things
- 32:53Speaker 1: five and then the scariest you say is dead dead
- 32:56Speaker 1: or deadest here he is is it on or in
- 32:59Speaker 1: in stranger things five.
- 33:00Speaker 6: Yes so stranger things five so final season um yeah
- 33:03Speaker 6: this one they got me because of the demogorgons and
- 33:06Speaker 6: i'm a big fan of the show so uh they
- 33:09Speaker 6: definitely got me.
- 33:09Speaker 1: A But you sound like I sound like I'm being tickled.
- 33:20Speaker 1: That is not what it's supposed to be like at
- 33:21Speaker 1: Horror Nights. Here is the scariest experience based on Fonzie's
- 33:27Speaker 1: reaction at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Number one, dead, dead,
- 33:30Speaker 1: or dead. Can you tell me, what are you doing?
- 33:39Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 33:41Speaker 6: No, there was four monsters literally in front of me,
- 33:44Speaker 6: behind me, and on each side, scaring me at the
- 33:46Speaker 6: same time. And on top of that, they had animatronic
- 33:49Speaker 6: dolls popping up, even though they're supposed to be dead bodies.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Fonz, are you still single?
- 33:54Speaker 7: Yes.
- 34:01Speaker 1: This is going to help. This is going to help.
- 34:04Speaker 1: This shows vulnerability. I like it for you. Halloween Horror Nights,
- 34:13Speaker 1: the scariest is dead, dead, or deadest based on Fonzie.
- 34:17Speaker 1: You be the judge. Coming up next, nonstop kiss music.
- 34:20Speaker 1: That is going to wrap it up for us today.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Back tomorrow, paying your bills starting at 610. Oh, it's
- 34:27Speaker 1: a Ryan's Roses at 740. A friend of hers saw
- 34:30Speaker 1: her husband out at dinner with another woman. It's what
- 34:33Speaker 1: he was doing with her that sounded the alarm. First
- 34:37Speaker 1: thing in the morning, more sold-out Jingle Ball tickets tomorrow, too.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Have a great day. We'll talk to you first thing tomorrow.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make
- 34:45Speaker 1: sure to subscribe, and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
