- 2:00Speaker 3: house inspection, and in terms of going back to the past,
- 2:04Speaker 3: you saw your own house going back to our The
- 2:06Speaker 3: fuck that's weird.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I bet you walked in there and you were like
- 2:09Speaker 2: this old ship hole.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Actually, well, i'll talk about it on the show's done
- 2:13Speaker 3: a really good job of it.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That fucking hair and looks really good.
- 2:16Speaker 3: And they put up like invisible what are they called
- 2:18Speaker 3: floating shells, and it's.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Like, fucking hour, is this our house? Good ship?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Well, so you were impressed by what they've done.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it looks really good.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Oh that's nice.
- 2:26Speaker 3: And as I say, their father, who lives just down
- 2:29Speaker 3: the road, is that he's retired and he's a real
- 2:31Speaker 3: fixer upera right, and he's he's just coming around our
- 2:35Speaker 3: joint and doing ship he's got.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It's fucking gross. They're like, hey, is.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It okay if my dad comes and does this, And we're.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Like, yeah, fixes up the deck there. Yeah, well he
- 2:48Speaker 1: water blasted it, not the back deck, because that's.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Fact, the deck that the builder fell through here twice.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Fucking I really want to come to your old house.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Are these people? Would I get on with them?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Oh?
- 3:00Speaker 1: They're very nice people.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Maybe they would bite me around, But I'm loath to.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Ring it up on the show because I know where
- 3:04Speaker 3: it's going to go. As soon as I mentioned it
- 3:06Speaker 3: and they listened to the show, What do.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You mean where do you think it's going to go?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Well? You recall our improv on me doing a house instriction.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, well do I recall who took it there?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Guys are piloting the.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Nice weekend. Nice weekend.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Not a great weekend, one of the great, one of
- 3:27Speaker 5: the great. It was fine, it was all right, you
- 3:29Speaker 5: loved it working. I did not drink any purse, which
- 3:33Speaker 5: was fucking great.
- 3:34Speaker 6: What I did love was and I miss it out
- 3:36Speaker 6: west where we live. It fucking sucks. There's no bars.
- 3:40Speaker 6: There's like a couple of bars.
- 3:41Speaker 2: There's not a lot.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Of bars, which was a surprising.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And like a nice pub.
- 3:47Speaker 6: You know, I'd love to live somewhere where you've got
- 3:49Speaker 6: your pub and it's last we got to the pub
- 3:50Speaker 6: for an hour or just have We don't have that,
- 3:53Speaker 6: And so we went over to North Coat to the
- 3:54Speaker 6: North Coach Tavn, which is really nice where you went
- 3:56Speaker 6: yea and it was packed out and it was like
- 3:59Speaker 6: good eat pub food and pints two pints. I think
- 4:03Speaker 6: it was like Spats ultra. It was nineteen dollars fucking
- 4:07Speaker 6: less than twenty bucks for two pints in Auckland.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's bad.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Still sounds fucking outrageous to me. I'm really behind the
- 4:16Speaker 3: counter on the.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Ten dollar Guinness, and I was just like, there's a
- 4:19Speaker 6: fucking t a b there, big TV, it's packed, manias,
- 4:22Speaker 6: and the poke's putting his rent.
- 4:23Speaker 2: In like yeah, how good. It was fucking awesome.
- 4:25Speaker 6: And it was literally just drinking cheek chanting to the
- 4:27Speaker 6: random old boys and just watching the wars. Yea.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I always found that peculiar about out West as well,
- 4:34Speaker 3: that there were no fucking bars the Trust. There was
- 4:39Speaker 3: just one, the kay Bar, which was in Colson, which
- 4:43Speaker 3: was a heanous fucking ship hole, and that was about it. Well,
- 4:47Speaker 3: we used to have one in Glen Eden and then
- 4:49Speaker 3: that shut down, which actually was kind of that vibe,
- 4:52Speaker 3: kind of old school dudes.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, just drinking their beersies.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Yeah, it does suck out there. And you can't buy
- 4:59Speaker 6: pers from the market. Yes, it's a pain in the ass. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 6: I have to go to the bottle store. Oh mate,
- 5:05Speaker 6: just exhausted. Oh mate, fuck this man?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Ah? Thanks?
- 5:15Speaker 5: What other exciting things happened on the weekend? Fellows?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Um? Nothing, no, but that's kind of nice it is. Well,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I didn't drink.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Sorry to go back to it, because I was saying
- 5:26Speaker 5: to talk about went to the gym Keezy oh man
- 5:30Speaker 5: loved that. Jimicky, Oh wow, yeah, he's a sicker ice baths.
- 5:37Speaker 5: What's the other thing?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Are you doing the classic extreme non drinking, full on exercise, well.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Not full on, but certainly exercising as opposed to none. Yes, yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 5: so I've got to replace it with something. And when
- 5:50Speaker 5: you feel good, you want to get an excise. I
- 5:52Speaker 5: haven't exercised pretty much all year. Yeah, it's not good,
- 5:55Speaker 5: it's not good. But what was really great is I
- 5:57Speaker 5: went down to the ice bath joint and they've got
- 5:59Speaker 5: the sawner their well, so you're in the sauna and
- 6:02Speaker 5: then the sword of there. I like it to be
- 6:03Speaker 5: a bit quiet and they're easy, you.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Know, just sweet people quietly and if you can have
- 6:08Speaker 1: a little bit of a chat you like this.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Hey, what's that you got down there?
- 6:13Speaker 5: That's pretty tasty?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Brother, banana in your pocket?
- 6:16Speaker 5: Are you just.
- 6:21Speaker 2: The whole?
- 6:22Speaker 5: Archy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurarchy.
- 6:26Speaker 4: You know how good the Hadarky Big Show podcaster is more.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Big you get it.
- 6:35Speaker 4: You're gonna get around the live radio show to seven
- 6:39Speaker 4: weight days on Radio Hiarchy and I had radio You're born.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Nice Big Show.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Podcast anyway, a couple of broads walking there, running their
- 6:52Speaker 5: goddamn yeps, and what are they talking about? Hoidy j
- 6:57Speaker 5: exactly what I'm trying to get away from, fucking which.
- 7:00Speaker 5: I was working at home and I go down there
- 7:02Speaker 5: for a bit of a break. They came and talking
- 7:03Speaker 5: about the iad zero sheerholder and but at the top
- 7:09Speaker 5: of their voices.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's a fucking annoying when people.
- 7:12Speaker 2: But they're being rude.
- 7:14Speaker 5: But I'd feel too rude saying, hey, can you guys
- 7:16Speaker 5: just fuck off? I mean just whisper. But yeah, just
- 7:21Speaker 5: like so, they absolutely killed my bars. I got an
- 7:23Speaker 5: immediate soft on.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so weird because we've got a sauna at
- 7:31Speaker 3: our joint.
- 7:33Speaker 1: No, and it's fucking great.
- 7:36Speaker 3: It was my wife and I have done it, Like,
- 7:38Speaker 3: my wife has done it way more times than me,
- 7:40Speaker 3: can I add, we've done it like three or four times.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Have a swim out of the sauna. Yeah, it's kind
- 7:47Speaker 3: of sexy.
- 7:48Speaker 5: But you can't swim, can you?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah? I can swim, but really badly.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not a good like if you check me
- 7:54Speaker 3: in the middle of the ocean, I drowned pretty quickly. Yeah,
- 7:57Speaker 3: like a dog pedal that's not swimming. I breaststroke, yeah, yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 3: I can swim. I'm just not good at doing the
- 8:05Speaker 3: breathing on the side thing. I've never nailed that, right,
- 8:08Speaker 3: I've never.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Been able to do it. I always just sucking fucking
- 8:12Speaker 1: gallons of.
- 8:12Speaker 5: They teach water, they teach water. Have you ever been
- 8:15Speaker 5: taught water swimming when you're at school?
- 8:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 8:18Speaker 3: Same, yeah, Well, and actually I remember my mum taking
- 8:22Speaker 3: me to swimming lessons, yeah, when I was a real
- 8:25Speaker 3: young feller, and I fucking hated it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I remember just screaming on the side of the pool going.
- 8:36Speaker 3: But I've never been a good swimmer ever, and I
- 8:39Speaker 3: and it bums me out because it'd be great to
- 8:41Speaker 3: be a good swimmer.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Well, you know, you can learn. Mate who got to
- 8:45Speaker 5: thirty five couldn't swim at all? Yes, sort of like you,
- 8:48Speaker 5: but not as bad. Yeah, And then he went he
- 8:52Speaker 5: got lessons and now he does Iron Man's Oh yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I've always been.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Massively impressed by that because people are normally like that,
- 9:01Speaker 5: They're like, oh no, I can't swim, wish I could. Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 5: And he was like, They're I'm going to go and
- 9:04Speaker 5: get lessens.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But like, I like going in the ocean. But I'm not.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Going for a big dish out into the door. I
- 9:11Speaker 3: go for a dip and a dive and a bit
- 9:13Speaker 3: of a float. It's nice keezy swimmer. Apart from your
- 9:18Speaker 3: swimmer's here.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I'm a decent swimmer. Year like I would never raced,
- 9:24Speaker 2: never swum race, you know race, Well.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Have you raced against like Danion Loader or anything like that?
- 9:29Speaker 5: That must be mister oh wow, Moss, I forgot about Moss.
- 9:35Speaker 5: About Anthony Moss for a swimmer.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Very nice And to say, well, now you know what I.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Mean, you're very tall and sort.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Of toes and you've got those wib toes.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Why would I say something like that?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Because your hunkle will cut through the water.
- 9:55Speaker 3: That's only on the back there's a shark.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Now I'm an a descent.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Yeah, yes, but it is the hardest part is the
- 10:03Speaker 6: timing your strokes with your breathing.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yes, well, I get quite panicked, that's the problem. And
- 10:08Speaker 3: so when I can't get breath and I start sucking
- 10:13Speaker 3: in the sucking in the pool, we're.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Going to get pugs and Deli with the phones out
- 10:20Speaker 6: and a deep absolutely.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Freaking well, I told you, I've told you. Our school
- 10:27Speaker 3: swimming sports. I was the resident comedian. I would enter
- 10:31Speaker 3: every event and come last in every event because I
- 10:35Speaker 3: was so bad, to the point where on one occasion
- 10:40Speaker 3: and I think I told you, yeah, my deputy head master,
- 10:43Speaker 3: I got to the end of the pool and I
- 10:44Speaker 3: hadn't even finished, and he said, hoit, get out of
- 10:47Speaker 3: the pool.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You're humiliating yourself.
- 10:52Speaker 2: If I can swim. The answer is.
- 10:56Speaker 6: I would have been taking There's no way you would trying.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I was going like the clappers, because you're wedding points
- 11:03Speaker 5: for your house, an't you.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Yeah, well for my sports house man.
- 11:06Speaker 3: But the problem was everyone else was already finished, like
- 11:08Speaker 3: ten minutes ago.
- 11:09Speaker 5: But you're going, well, you know when you're going on
- 11:12Speaker 5: the cleppers were going nowhere.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, you know, and when you have when you
- 11:16Speaker 1: have the lane.
- 11:17Speaker 5: You know when when is on the ground that he
- 11:19Speaker 5: tries to get up.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but I remember, you know, because you have the
- 11:24Speaker 3: lanes with the ropes on them, always getting tangled in
- 11:27Speaker 3: the ropes. Because because I because I couldn't swim in
- 11:31Speaker 3: a straight line, I'd go like that, yeah yeah, and
- 11:35Speaker 3: just get tangled up.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You have to starting it.
- 11:40Speaker 5: I remember those people at swimming swimming sports. Good on
- 11:43Speaker 5: you for trying, Jason. I can't wait for this video.
- 11:45Speaker 5: That'll be good Tomorrow.
- 11:47Speaker 6: I reckon tomorrow we get out to the real deep.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You just check.
- 11:52Speaker 2: There we go, you'll feel safe for you. Can we
- 11:55Speaker 2: actually come and film you swimming?
- 11:57Speaker 1: No?
- 12:01Speaker 2: What if we do a poll and then.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Hey, listen to The Big Show fourtal seven weekdays radio Hodarchi.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Good listening, m hm
