- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Everyone?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome into another episode of the check Odaly. It's Andrew
- 0:13Speaker 2: to check O, Eagles beat reporter for insidethbirds dot Com here,
- 0:16Speaker 2: and we just wrapped day eleven of Eagles training camp.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The team has a closed walkthrough Friday, and then they
- 0:23Speaker 2: will take on the Baltimore Ravens Saturday night at MT
- 0:28Speaker 2: and T Bank Stadium for the season opener of the
- 0:31Speaker 2: preseason and I'm very much looking forward to that. Check
- 0:35Speaker 2: the podcast from third from Wednesday. I'm getting all my
- 0:40Speaker 2: days mixed up here. Everything blurs together when you're in
- 0:43Speaker 2: the thicket things with training camp. But I talked about
- 0:46Speaker 2: certain positions that I'll be keeping an eye on in
- 0:49Speaker 2: the preseason.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Today's practice was.
- 0:52Speaker 2: A shorter one, and it was even shorter because of
- 0:55Speaker 2: something that I will sort of paint the picture for
- 0:58Speaker 2: you all in a moment, but it was categorized as
- 1:02Speaker 2: yellow and it was slated to go about ninety minutes.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Was a little bit abbreviated because of a dust up
- 1:09Speaker 2: that occurred between offensive tackle Fred Johnson and defensive tackle
- 1:14Speaker 2: Moro Jomo. This was during a red zone period. The
- 1:18Speaker 2: second teams were squaring off.
- 1:19Speaker 3: And.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It followed a block that Fred Johnson had on a Jomo.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Jomo took exception to it. They exchanged some words, and
- 1:28Speaker 2: then Moro Jomo squares up and delivers a punch in
- 1:33Speaker 2: the direction of Fred Johnson. It doesn't connect. It's quickly separated,
- 1:37Speaker 2: with among the peacemakers Willie Lampkin trying to guide Moro
- 1:41Speaker 2: Jomo away. They get back into it, they have the
- 1:44Speaker 2: next play, and then predictably, Fred Johnson had a good
- 1:48Speaker 2: angle on a Jomo and drives him into the ground,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and then that set things off. You knew what was
- 1:54Speaker 2: going to happen after that. Jomo's enraged. He gets up.
- 1:58Speaker 2: He throws another punch at Johnson. That one doesn't connect.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Johnson walks away. He sort of there's a lot of
- 2:07Speaker 2: teammates in between the two. A Jomo's fuming. He's like
- 2:11Speaker 2: a race car in the red to borrow a phrase
- 2:14Speaker 2: from John Travolta in pulp fiction, and for somehow he's
- 2:19Speaker 2: able to charge through the teammates that are there, sort
- 2:23Speaker 2: of standing in the way to make sure nothing transpires,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and he dives at Fred Johnson's legs, takes him to
- 2:28Speaker 2: the ground, and then there's a lot of shouting back
- 2:32Speaker 2: and forth from other players, some pushing, and then it's quickly,
- 2:35Speaker 2: well I shouldn't say quickly, eventually it's separated and Nick
- 2:40Speaker 2: Sirianni decided to pretty much call practice after that.
- 2:43Speaker 1: This is the.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Part of the summer where you see a lot of
- 2:48Speaker 2: teammates that the tempers flair a little bit, and you
- 2:54Speaker 2: just get the sense that they're kind of raring to
- 2:56Speaker 2: go against someone in a different jersey, and I think
- 2:59Speaker 2: today kind of absoluted that they'll get that opportunity on Saturday.
- 3:03Speaker 2: But that was the big highlight of the day, if
- 3:05Speaker 2: you will, the top storyline, I guess you could say.
- 3:09Speaker 2: But let's rewind back to the beginning of practice, because
- 3:12Speaker 2: the Eagles opened with a seven on seven period and
- 3:16Speaker 2: the safeties were Drew mccooba and Marcus Epps.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Quenya Mitchell did not practice.
- 3:23Speaker 2: So before we get into that, let's let's go through
- 3:26Speaker 2: today's practice report, because there were some names on there
- 3:30Speaker 2: that weren't on there previously. Not practicing today. Tarique Castro
- 3:34Speaker 2: fields with a heel, Cooper dejen with a groin, Keyshawn
- 3:38Speaker 2: James Newby ankle, Jonathan Jones shoulder, Mackay Lemon hamstring, Quenya
- 3:42Speaker 2: Mitchell glue, Damian Pierce hamstring, Davonte Smith hamstring, Coleznski hamstring,
- 3:48Speaker 2: and limited today was wide receiver Danny Gray with the concussion.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And before practice I saw DeVante Smith working on a
- 3:58Speaker 2: far field with a trainer doing some light you know,
- 4:01Speaker 2: route running on air, and then shortly thereafter, Makayle Lemon
- 4:06Speaker 2: came out and was fielding some passes from a jugs
- 4:09Speaker 2: machine and dumping them into you know, the trash can
- 4:12Speaker 2: as they typically do. So we'll see what that all
- 4:15Speaker 2: means for either player. They're not going to rush them
- 4:17Speaker 2: back with a soft tissue injury. Jonathan Bernard, of course,
- 4:21Speaker 2: is still on pup and with Wiznewsky, he's now missed
- 4:26Speaker 2: nine practices.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I believe it's seven.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Now for Davante Smith and Makai Lemon, so it's kind
- 4:36Speaker 2: of lingered a little bit here, So we'll see if
- 4:40Speaker 2: both players are able to It won't be this week,
- 4:43Speaker 2: but let's see if they're able to get back into
- 4:44Speaker 2: the mix the next week. But it looks at least
- 4:48Speaker 2: for Davante Smith that he seems to be a little closer.
- 4:53Speaker 2: And then you get to the seven on seven period.
- 4:56Speaker 2: As I mentioned, it was Drew mccouba and Marcus Epps.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Mac McWilliams, the Eagle second year corner replaced Quinna Mitchell
- 5:03Speaker 2: with the first team teaming with Rieg Wohen at corner,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and it was an active day for mac McWilliams. So Mac,
- 5:12Speaker 2: I'm trying to best illustrate this. There was a play
- 5:17Speaker 2: that Jalen Hursts was trying to fit in right or
- 5:20Speaker 2: right around the right pylon to Hollywood Brown. Mac McWilliams
- 5:25Speaker 2: jumps the route, reads it beautifully, picks it off, then
- 5:28Speaker 2: he punts the ball in the air. But mac McWilliams,
- 5:30Speaker 2: this is not just a recent emergence. This is sort
- 5:34Speaker 2: of a continuation of a player who is stacked days.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I can see a renewed confidence. He has a quick trigger,
- 5:42Speaker 2: he has some instincts that are that are really starting
- 5:46Speaker 2: to come to surface.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Here.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Just looks to be a marketly better player than he
- 5:50Speaker 2: was last summer. And he flashed a little bit last summer,
- 5:53Speaker 2: but it was never able to correlate into regular season success.
- 5:57Speaker 1: He played in just five games last year. But this
- 5:59Speaker 1: was a big day for him.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Needless to say, there were a lot of corners and
- 6:03Speaker 2: Nichols if you're looking at Cooper Degen, that weren't available
- 6:06Speaker 2: for today's practice, so it gave him an opportunity to
- 6:08Speaker 2: go out there and showcase some of the things he's
- 6:10Speaker 2: been working on.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Thought he did some good things.
- 6:12Speaker 2: The first three passes for Jayalen Hurts in seven on
- 6:15Speaker 2: seven's were two tight ends. The first was a short
- 6:18Speaker 2: completion at Johnny Munt, then two more to Dallas Goddard,
- 6:21Speaker 2: and then there was another play where Jayleen Hurts tried
- 6:24Speaker 2: to fit went in deep in the right corner there
- 6:28Speaker 2: to it was D'antavian Wicks and Michael Carter provided really
- 6:34Speaker 2: good coverage that was an incompletion. They move on to
- 6:37Speaker 2: the eleven on eleven period where the secondary configuration was
- 6:43Speaker 2: Macouba and Epsett safety Michael Carter, the second at Nickel.
- 6:47Speaker 2: The corners were Mac McWilliams and Riek Wohen. But Keely
- 6:52Speaker 2: Ringo also worked in a little bit there as well,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I should note that. And he had a nice play
- 6:57Speaker 2: on a throw over the middle from Hertz to Elijah
- 7:01Speaker 2: Moore where he was able to affect the incompletion. There
- 7:05Speaker 2: looks like he maybe tagged him a little bit and
- 7:08Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley had a nice run where he beat Keee
- 7:12Speaker 2: Ringo to the left corner. He stretched up the field
- 7:16Speaker 2: looked like it was an inside zone that he ended
- 7:18Speaker 2: up bouncing outside.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Sakuon Barkley had a really nice practice today.
- 7:21Speaker 2: He's had a nice camp, and I think sometimes when
- 7:25Speaker 2: you're in the thick of the summer, it's easy to
- 7:27Speaker 2: lose sight of the stars on this team. But Saquon
- 7:31Speaker 2: Barkley is someone who I think has had a nice summer.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And it is very difficult to gauge the effectiveness of
- 7:36Speaker 2: the running game in training camp because you're not tackling
- 7:38Speaker 2: to the ground, But there are certain things that you
- 7:41Speaker 2: could maybe look at and say that in a game, yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 2: he probably pops that for a big game, or maybe
- 7:48Speaker 2: he gets stopped around the line of scrimmage if.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It were a game situation.
- 7:52Speaker 2: But he has the burst, he has some springings to him.
- 7:55Speaker 2: He's a fun player to watch him practice because as
- 7:57Speaker 2: a veteran, you sometimes will what we'll see a player
- 8:01Speaker 2: that maybe you know they've been through it, been there,
- 8:03Speaker 2: done that. But Saquan approached it very very competitively and
- 8:07Speaker 2: he always brings the juice and I thought that that
- 8:09Speaker 2: was just one of the instances in this practice where
- 8:13Speaker 2: he demonstrated his just his his burst and explosiveness. The
- 8:22Speaker 2: second team safeties were Andre Sam and Kapina Gushikin. Gushikin's
- 8:27Speaker 2: a player that I noted in my observations a couple
- 8:30Speaker 2: days ago, maybe as someone that I noticed is starting
- 8:33Speaker 2: to work in a little bit more after not really
- 8:35Speaker 2: seeing a ton of raps early in camp. He's an
- 8:37Speaker 2: undrafted free agent I had an ole miss, smaller guy,
- 8:40Speaker 2: really good athleticism, you can see the explosiveness that he has,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and someone that I will certainly be keeping an eye
- 8:46Speaker 2: on in the preseason. Andre Sam has been a steady
- 8:48Speaker 2: presence as a second team safety. You know how I
- 8:52Speaker 2: feel about Andre Sam. I think he practices really hard.
- 8:55Speaker 2: He knows exactly where he's supposed to be and what
- 8:57Speaker 2: his assignments are, and I think that is certainly a
- 9:00Speaker 2: byproduct of being in the defense for now three years now.
- 9:03Speaker 2: But he certainly seems to make the most of those
- 9:06Speaker 2: opportunities when he's out there. I thought that both reserve
- 9:10Speaker 2: tackles and I guess I'll say the second team tackles
- 9:12Speaker 2: with Jomo I'm including, but Byron Young. They were both
- 9:16Speaker 2: really active and were able to create some penetration, really
- 9:19Speaker 2: good run fits on certain occasions. I've talked about this
- 9:22Speaker 2: a lot, but I also wrote about Byron Young on
- 9:24Speaker 2: Inside the Birds dot com because I think an argument
- 9:27Speaker 2: can be made that he's one of the more underrated
- 9:29Speaker 2: players on the roster, but he's certainly one of the
- 9:32Speaker 2: more important depth pieces on the team, and so he
- 9:35Speaker 2: continues to have quietly a decent camp. You can see
- 9:39Speaker 2: that he has a little bit more juice as a
- 9:41Speaker 2: pass rusher.
- 9:42Speaker 1: He's a little leaner.
- 9:43Speaker 2: He talked about this the other day that he shed
- 9:46Speaker 2: some weight in the offseason. He has a chef that
- 9:49Speaker 2: he hired, which was Brandon Graham's former chef, and he
- 9:52Speaker 2: focused on his just pass rush and movement ability, and
- 9:58Speaker 2: I think that really has showcased itself through eleven practices.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Then they did something that maybe I was probably among
- 10:09Speaker 2: those who were most excited to see, and it was
- 10:11Speaker 2: a special teams drill which really fixated on the gunner.
- 10:15Speaker 2: The gunners and their role in punt coverage where they
- 10:18Speaker 2: were punting. Braid Man was punting to different punt returners
- 10:22Speaker 2: and they had two sets of gunners that were one
- 10:26Speaker 2: row of players on one side, and then on the
- 10:27Speaker 2: other side they had another set of players and they
- 10:30Speaker 2: were kind of taking turns downing the football or trying
- 10:33Speaker 2: to read it and track it and make plays on it.
- 10:36Speaker 1: The first set was Keey Ringo and J. T. Gray.
- 10:40Speaker 1: They had J. T.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Gray simulate a pick up there on a braid and
- 10:43Speaker 2: man punt that was right along the sideline where I was.
- 10:46Speaker 2: By the way, I watched practice right beside our own
- 10:49Speaker 2: Jeff Mosher. That was always really fun and we were
- 10:53Speaker 2: kind of exchanging notes of what we were seeing as
- 10:57Speaker 2: it was happening in real time.
- 10:59Speaker 4: But if I could create a cash app card to
- 11:03Speaker 4: best represent my family, it would be a cup of coffee,
- 11:06Speaker 4: but not in a mug. It would be in one
- 11:08Speaker 4: of those styrofoam to go cups, because basically that is
- 11:12Speaker 4: our family, always hitting those coffee places with the styrofoam cups.
- 11:16Speaker 4: You know them very well, and nothing makes my kids
- 11:19Speaker 4: happier than hitting up those places early and often. For

- 13:27Speaker 4: I know how I feel when I wake up in
- 13:28Speaker 4: the morning. I have so many things on my mind.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I can't get any of this done until I have
- 13:34Speaker 4: my first cup of coffee. I know a lot of
- 13:36Speaker 4: you feel the same way. You either need that coffee,
- 13:39Speaker 4: that nicotine pouch, maybe even energy drink to get yourself
- 13:43Speaker 4: through the day. We go to these great lengths to
- 13:46Speaker 4: stay healthy, whether it's going to the gym or trying

- 15:10Speaker 2: The next rep was Keiley Ringo and Andre Sam. That
- 15:14Speaker 2: punt went out of bounds. There was Mac McWilliams and
- 15:16Speaker 2: j T. Gray That punt soared well out of bounds.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Darius Cooper and Samari torre Ques Watkins ended up fair
- 15:25Speaker 2: catching that one. Then they had Michael Carter and Ambrey
- 15:28Speaker 2: Thomas and Ambry Thomas batted the ball and play that
- 15:32Speaker 2: was a nice play by him. There was another set
- 15:35Speaker 2: there with Jacorey and Bennett Andre Sam with Britain Covey
- 15:39Speaker 2: as the punt returner and Andre Sam did a really
- 15:42Speaker 2: nice job getting under the ball and fielding it at
- 15:45Speaker 2: the one yard line. Nice anticipation there and an ability
- 15:51Speaker 2: to track the football. And then we get to the
- 15:55Speaker 2: red zone period where that's where everything transpired with the
- 16:00Speaker 2: melee that I discussed, and this secondary was Riek Wollen
- 16:05Speaker 2: and Keeley Ringo with Mac McWilliams at nickelback. The safeties
- 16:10Speaker 2: were Drew mccouba and Marcus Apps. Marcus Apps, by the way,
- 16:13Speaker 2: on a Saquon Barkley run, did a really nice job
- 16:16Speaker 2: throttling downhill.
- 16:17Speaker 1: He set the edge.
- 16:18Speaker 2: That's likely a tackle for loss or a tackle for
- 16:21Speaker 2: no or minimal gain in a game situation. But again,
- 16:24Speaker 2: it's very difficult to assess that one way or the
- 16:26Speaker 2: other when you're not tackling to the ground. But he
- 16:29Speaker 2: was there to make the play. He hasn't flashed a
- 16:31Speaker 2: ton in that regard, but he is a steady and
- 16:34Speaker 2: consistent player that seems to be in the right place
- 16:36Speaker 2: at the right time, doesn't make mental mistakes.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You like that. There's trust that is derived from that.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But that was an example of Marcus Apps reading it
- 16:45Speaker 2: perfectly and being where he needed to be.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Jayalen Hurts threw.
- 16:49Speaker 2: One in there to Elijah Moore, who's kind of settled
- 16:53Speaker 2: into the soft spot. It was a short completion that's
- 16:55Speaker 2: set up third and five. Then Jalen delivers a nice
- 16:58Speaker 2: pass on a corner route to Mac two Don Tavian,
- 17:02Speaker 2: which with mac McWilliams in coverage, that was along the
- 17:06Speaker 2: far sideline. It was just short of the right pylon
- 17:09Speaker 2: and then Jalen responds by ripping a throw a heater
- 17:12Speaker 2: in the back of the end zone to Dallas Goddard
- 17:14Speaker 2: with Drew mccooba in coverage there, and that began at
- 17:19Speaker 2: the That was from about the three yard line. Andy
- 17:23Speaker 2: Dalton had some misfires in the end zone, including one
- 17:27Speaker 2: to an open Danny Gray where he fired it out
- 17:29Speaker 2: of reach in the back of the end zone. Danny
- 17:31Speaker 2: got a hand up there trying to get it. Those are,
- 17:34Speaker 2: needless to say, opportunities that as a back of the
- 17:36Speaker 2: roster receiver, and I understand that Danny Gray is an
- 17:40Speaker 2: extreme long shot to make the roster, but certainly could be.
- 17:43Speaker 1: In conversation for.
- 17:44Speaker 2: The practice squad, you got to give those receivers a
- 17:47Speaker 2: chance to make a play because their reps are so
- 17:50Speaker 2: minimal that when they're out there and they have an opportunity,
- 17:54Speaker 2: it's so important. And I understand that Andy Dalton wasn't
- 17:57Speaker 2: trying to misfire there, but it's some that as a
- 18:00Speaker 2: back of the roster receiver, hopefully you kind of see
- 18:02Speaker 2: it from their perspective, that was a missed opportunity. Andy
- 18:06Speaker 2: Dalton did throw a nice one on a wheel route
- 18:08Speaker 2: to Will Shipley. It looked like the pass was trailing
- 18:12Speaker 2: out of bounds. Will does a nice job of getting
- 18:15Speaker 2: up there to catch the ball slides in. It looked
- 18:17Speaker 2: like he probably was out of bounds, but they ruled
- 18:20Speaker 2: him in and that was just that was just a
- 18:24Speaker 2: nice completion and a nice concentration catch there from Shipley.
- 18:28Speaker 2: The offensive line situation, the backup offensive line they had
- 18:33Speaker 2: at left tackle, Fred Johnson at left guard, John a
- 18:38Speaker 2: juquo want something on him in a moment. They had
- 18:41Speaker 2: Drew Kendall at center, Willie Lampkin at right guard, and
- 18:44Speaker 2: Mark l Bell at right tackle. The reason why John
- 18:47Speaker 2: at juque was an interesting player here is because he
- 18:50Speaker 2: had previously exclusively wrapped at tackle, and he caught my
- 18:53Speaker 2: eye there a little bit. But the fact that the
- 18:55Speaker 2: Eagles are now possibly cross training him at guard, and
- 18:59Speaker 2: they also cross train him there in the spring. But
- 19:01Speaker 2: in training camp, that was the first that I noticed
- 19:04Speaker 2: a jukeuo at guard, And previously it had been Jake
- 19:07Speaker 2: Majors at garden and he wasn't there. So maybe the
- 19:11Speaker 2: Eagles are trying to expand a Juquo's pout a little bit.
- 19:14Speaker 2: In my recent fifty three man roster for Inside the Birds.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I had Juquo making.
- 19:19Speaker 2: It, and he's kind of an under the radar guy
- 19:22Speaker 2: who isn't being talked about a lot. But I watch
- 19:24Speaker 2: about I watch how the Eagles use him, where he
- 19:28Speaker 2: lines up, and how they line him up, and I
- 19:30Speaker 2: think that he sort of optimized the you know, the
- 19:33Speaker 2: opportunities that he's gotten.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Hey, Philly fans, game day is stressful enough. Parking, traffic,
- 19:40Speaker 3: long lines, We've all been there, But when it comes
- 19:42Speaker 3: to your cannabis, Camden Apothecary makes it easy. This is
- 19:47Speaker 3: the dispensary for sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly,

- 20:20Speaker 3: even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 20:25Speaker 3: service members, and healthcare pros. Camedn Apothecary, top quality cannabis,
- 20:30Speaker 3: great prices and an experience made for Philly fans.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Twenty one and.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Up Byron Young. I talked about him earlier. He had
- 20:37Speaker 2: a really nice repper. He got right around Willie Lampkin
- 20:40Speaker 2: to get into the backfield. Just some good twitch and
- 20:44Speaker 2: burst there from the fourth year defensive tackle. Then later
- 20:48Speaker 2: they had the first team offense versus the first team defense,
- 20:52Speaker 2: and that had Mac McWilliams, Raeke Wollen, and Michael Carter
- 20:59Speaker 2: as your corner Slash Nichols. Your safeties were Marcus EPs
- 21:03Speaker 2: and Drew mccouba. Jalen Hurts drops a short pass in
- 21:07Speaker 2: there to Hollywood Brown. Was a wide receiver screen. Hollywood
- 21:10Speaker 2: Brown dropped it now just to quick aside on Hollywood
- 21:13Speaker 2: Brown because compared to the other receivers in training camp,
- 21:18Speaker 2: he's sort of fallen by the wayside a little bit.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I think that he hasn't necessarily stood apart here.
- 21:28Speaker 2: The big plays have been very infrequent, and something like that,
- 21:32Speaker 2: you obviously can't have. He drops that pass, then Jalen
- 21:35Speaker 2: Hurts has a quick draw up the middle for the touchdown.
- 21:39Speaker 2: He delivers one to Dantavian Wicks inside the right pylon
- 21:42Speaker 2: with reek woman and coverage. He throws a bullet there
- 21:45Speaker 2: to Dantavian Wicks, who has been a little bit quieter
- 21:48Speaker 2: the past few practices. But the timing between Jalen Hurts
- 21:51Speaker 2: and Dan Tavian Wicks is something that has been butting
- 21:54Speaker 2: throughout the summer, and I think it's only going to
- 21:57Speaker 2: blossom once you get into the regular season because Don
- 22:00Speaker 2: Tavian Wicks, let's face it, has been the last man
- 22:03Speaker 2: standing of the top three receivers, so he's getting valuable
- 22:06Speaker 2: time on task with the starting quarterback.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I mentioned.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley had some good juice on a run up
- 22:12Speaker 2: the middle, and then Jalen Hurts hits Don Tavian Wicks
- 22:15Speaker 2: again along the left side line with Jeremiah Trotter Junior
- 22:19Speaker 2: trailing a little bit. Tank Bigsby had a nice run
- 22:24Speaker 2: up the gut towards the right side. He doesn't quit
- 22:27Speaker 2: on a play. He has like the energizer bunny and
- 22:30Speaker 2: he's very fun to watch. He had a couple of
- 22:32Speaker 2: quality runs in this session as well, and then there
- 22:36Speaker 2: was a third and four, Jalen Hurts threw off his
- 22:39Speaker 2: back foot to Elijah Moore. It was an out route
- 22:42Speaker 2: that he was able to get in front of.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Mac McWilliams. So that was really the Thursday's practice.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It was a little bit more eventful than I expected
- 22:52Speaker 2: it to be a couple of days before a game.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Needless to say, the scrap between Fred Johnson amro Jomo
- 22:58Speaker 2: certainly contributed to it. But it was a practice that
- 23:02Speaker 2: I think, to me really illustrates that both sides, offense
- 23:06Speaker 2: and defense, they're chomping at the bit to go against
- 23:08Speaker 2: another team. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing
- 23:11Speaker 2: Saturday's game some of these young players. It's a great
- 23:14Speaker 2: opportunity for them. And then next week there's the joint
- 23:17Speaker 2: practice with the New England Patriots and there's bound to
- 23:20Speaker 2: be some fireworks there, at least a spirited practice session
- 23:24Speaker 2: as a two day set of practices in Foxborough.
- 23:28Speaker 1: That's going to do it.
- 23:29Speaker 2: For this episode of The check O Daily, I'm Andrew
- 23:31Speaker 2: de Checko and I'll catch you all on the next one.
