- 2:58so Hello Jen, Jen, that's your great Dane right next to you.
- 3:05I can tell I don't need a big picture to note. Angie. Hello,
- 3:12Well, I know you're here captain Ola. Yes, I was laughing
- 3:22about this with Terry when he wrote it, like, I don't know what
- 3:25it was at some point. At some point, I guess I will.
- 3:31But sometimes you always have to say thank you for whatever you're going to get.
- 3:38May I have another, uh jaded hello, let's see here, Linda,
- 3:46Hello Ola? Hello? Uh mom? Arry? Oh another Terry just
- 3:55with two rs. Let's see. Well, you know my birth name was
- 4:03with two rs. Oh, well, hello, hello patches. He went
- 4:11from two to one. I was born t E R R Y, and
- 4:17I changed it thirteen years ago to t E R I. I can see
- 4:24this because everybody kept thinking I was going to be a man when I showed
- 4:27up and I was like, nope, I'm not I'm all of this,
- 4:30so I changed it. Oh, woman's all this. I blame Haul Cogan
- 4:39for that one, because his name's Terry and everybody hello Bell. Parents were
- 4:46told I was going to be a boy, so then they decided, oh,
- 4:48we'll just come up with a name that works for either. Yeah,
- 4:53it didn't work, Barry. I think like at some point, uh,
- 4:58nurses need to have a veto option. Mm hmmm mm hmm yep. Oh
- 5:05my gosh, I'm gonna lose my mind. Last time it was your voice.
- 5:11This time it's the microphone, right. Yes, I finally mostly have
- 5:16the voice back. There is still a higher register that I'm working on,
- 5:20but it's back, thankfully. Let's see, uh, what else we got
- 5:26going on? So that's everybody, thank so far. That's that's popped in.
- 5:30Hello, thank you for joining us. We're glad you're here. We
- 5:32have quite the the episode tonight because I'll be telling you my Ian Watkins story
- 5:40from the one last time that I was supposed to say, and then we
- 5:46are going to hop into the actual theme of the night night, which are
- 5:49stocking cases. Not stockings like for your legs, but stalking cases. Stalls.
- 6:00I told somebody and they're like, oh, you're doing a case about
- 6:02nylons stalking not doing that. Speaking of stalking, did you ever see the
- 6:13TV show Silk Stalkings with MIXI capturing Rob Estes. You need to watch it
- 6:21if you can find it still, mixy am I t z I I think
- 6:28is what it was. Capture Like you capture a photo that's not a real
- 6:34name, is it. I mean, it's been a long time. Let
- 6:38me go give it a goog but the show is called Silk Stalkings. But
- 6:44rob Estes is really really hot, and it was a good It was a
- 6:48good show and she's beautiful. Captain says, Oh my gosh. We used
- 6:59to watch silks Talkings at sleepovers because we thought it was adult I know,
- 7:02but it was so good. I owned DVDs of it and rob it is
- 7:14m I t z I KA P t U r E. But rob Estes
- 7:19was married to Josie Bissett from Melrose Place. Yeah. I never saw that
- 7:28either. I forget you're young. I'm no, I'm just only half rainbow.
- 7:34I'm not the full rainbow. So but silk Stocking is it's like a
- 7:39law and Order so they're detectives. Oh okay, I got it. I
- 7:44mean it's about killing people. Oh well, what year were you? No,
- 7:48I was commenting on Melrose I was in the seven okay, because this
- 7:55came on in ninety one. Silk Stockings, so you were just a pup
- 8:01my uh I was. I want to let everybody know who was kind of
- 8:07part of night Court that you've given My father like a big head, because
- 8:11the other day I was on the phone with him and he said, so
- 8:15when are you gonna have your star back on and I was like, what
- 8:16are you talking about. I was like going through my list of people that
- 8:20we had on Night Court and I was like, what are you what star?
- 8:24And he was like me duh. I was like, I was like,
- 8:30Dad, but Papa Bruce Crame wants to come back on. I was
- 8:33like, you haven't met Terry yet. That could be fun. I talked
- 8:37to him on the I did. I did meet him. They were at
- 8:39your house and he came in the room and we did meet. That's right,
- 8:46you did. Yes, yes, yes, you met that way,
- 8:48just not streaming together. We should have him come on. Yes, I
- 8:54would love to have him on. It's probably gonna be a little bit of
- 8:56time. They're done in Florida helping my brother get Sitch waited since he's PCs
- 9:01down there or moved there. So yeah, uh so it'll be a little
- 9:05while, but I'd love to have him back. We'll pick something that he's
- 9:09interested in. We'll maybe we'll do like historical something or another. He loves
- 9:13the history. Look at look at all these people. Well, like I
- 9:20said, I assume he's awesome because apples do not fall far from the trees.
- 9:24Yeah, the jokes are just as bad too, so you know we're
- 9:26consistent about that. So, Kerry, what are you drinking tonight? I
- 9:33am drinking an odd combo. It is raspberry cranberry sparkling water with four pumps
- 9:43of watermelon simple syrup and two shots of Tito's. I could get behind that.
- 9:54You're the non alcoholic piece of that. That is, you know your
- 9:58liquid right your mixer. There are more syllables in that than many other drinks.
- 10:05I like the simple syrup because it it doesn't have calories, but it
- 10:09adds great flavor. Ah and like they have it lavender. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:16yeah, you need to order that in the beginning of the night and
- 10:20not at the end. Yes, yes, but nowhere can you It's you
- 10:24can't get it in bars. I came across the syrups at home goods store
- 10:31because a girlfriend bought me the rose one when I was doing dry January,
- 10:39so I could put the rose flavor and my sparkling water and still feel like
- 10:43I was drinking. So then I ventured into I have their lavender blueberry salted
- 10:50caramel goes in our coffee. Then we do the mocha the vanilla because I
- 10:54have a coffee bar, and now I've added them to the bar bar.
- 11:01It's a clean drink. It is because it sounds good. I want so
- 11:07I love Chris. I love the holidays for many reasons. One you brought
- 11:13up and reminded me of the lovely obviously the holiday gift boxes and stuff that
- 11:18they put together for beer and liquor and stuff like that. Liquor I hardly
- 11:24know her, so so I found this box sized bos buddles and also a
- 11:39glass. And this is called Delirium Noel. Delirium's the brewery and it's a
- 11:46Belgian ale. But this brewery has been around since sixteen fifty four, so
- 11:50they're doing something good. It is from Belgium. It's not like the breweries
- 11:54based in Belgium and it gets brewed in the state. This is from Belgium.
- 11:58But it was like twenty three dollars for two of these pint sized bottles
- 12:01and a glass. And I love the glass, and I showed you the
- 12:03glass. But I love the glass because they're a little they're a little logo
- 12:07for this they're like little pink elephants with Santa hats on. I know,
- 12:11but for those that don't know, I love elephants. I mean, I
- 12:16even have an elephant tattoo, and obviously pink is my colors. I need
- 12:20the pink elephants. I'm gonna have to go get some tomorrow. It's adorable.
- 12:24Delirium captain said. Delerium's high alcohol it kind of I mean it's ten
- 12:28percent. I put that in the middle range of what I typically drink.
- 12:31I've had I have as low as four and as well higher. So what
- 12:39are you gonna do? Pink elephants on parade? So it's uh, but
- 12:46ten this is this is a beer that's ten percent. But it does not
- 12:50taste like that. It doesn't taste it's it's smooth, it's comfortable and that
- 12:56I mean, it's just it's like an amber ale. The color is just
- 12:58absolute lea gorgeous. Anyways, I will I'm gonna have to. Yeah,
- 13:05that's what I'm drinking bus that tomorrow when we go to buy stuff for the
- 13:09party Saturday. I won't drink the beer, but I can serve it to
- 13:11guest if they want it. It's like, I mean, perfect like holiday
- 13:16party beer that you like bring with you to somewhere or you have, you
- 13:20know, for a holiday party, just because of this. I mean it
- 13:24started. It generates conversation. There's like I love those kind of things,
- 13:28you know. I used to have a teenage mutant Ninja Turtle Secret to the
- 13:30Ooze poster that was an actual movie poster, and I used to hang it
- 13:33on the opposite side because it's backwards on the other side, so that when
- 13:37the light shines through, it's there's you don't get that double image. So
- 13:41I used to hang it backwards, and that would create conversation because people would
- 13:46be like, why you got the backwards poster, and I'd be like,
- 13:48well, let me tell you why, And that just generates the conversation because
- 13:50of course I need help. Well, I am excited for our party Saturday.
- 13:58I am serving Grinch Street and also Naughty Santa jello shots. I get
- 14:07wait, I'm making the jello shots tomorrow and I'm just so excited. Well,
- 14:15I'm excited. I'm assuming there will be some photos and you're like building
- 14:24arches and things like that. I'm making big blue arches. I'm not sure
- 14:28if it'll be an arch or if I'm gonna just do one big garland across
- 14:33all of the dining room area. Because I bought enough to do four arches
- 14:41exactly. See my husband, He's like, why you always gotta be extra,
- 14:46and I'm like, because my name is Terry extra Lynn doo sold.
- 14:52I mean, it's not extra, it's southern. You know, it's just
- 14:56maybe one of the same. That might be right. I think I'm extra
- 14:58Southern, but no, I will take pictures, videos and share because it'll
- 15:09be fun. We have not done a Christmas party since we've moved back to
- 15:13Texas, so it's been nine years since we have Christmas party. Well,
- 15:24here we go. Speaking of you had mentioned the Grinch, We've put together
- 15:31a video and this this this video. So Terry said, we need something
- 15:41for Chase Lackey case, for the two people who have not been forthcoming and
- 15:46their information and knowledge. So I did one that was okay, and then
- 15:52Terry's like, we got to have another one, and I was like,
- 15:56here we go, so let's do it. This This is yeah, this
- 16:03was this a sneak because it's not I think this one isn't posting until Monday,
- 16:12all right, So this is a sneak. Here is your Here we
- 16:18go be fun. Not for Christmas, Mom and Daddy, armor, not
- 16:41for Christmas. Not pea fred, I broke my lad on Jolly's head some
- 16:56funy such joby my head of brow again, said Jake. Somebody snitched off
- 17:03me. I spilled some mink on Mommy's rug. I made Tommy eat a
- 17:11bug, but some gum with a penny slug. Somebody snitched on me.
- 17:17Oh for Christmas, mom m nothing for Christmas and nothing to bad. I
- 17:44put a patch onto church. Somebody snips on me. I tied a not
- 17:51into please. Somebody snitched on me. I tear dance some Mommy's plans.
- 18:00Fun for my pants. Fill that sugar bowl wives. Somebody tips on me
- 18:11for Christmas, Molly for Christmas, TuS, I can not foot bangs.
- 18:45I'm sorry. I love it, and considering we keep getting tips and stuff,
- 18:52I really hope somebody snitches on them because they will also get fifteen thousand,
- 19:00three hundred and fifty dollars, I think is what the reward is.
- 19:04So snitch away, switch away, husker. Yeah, that the little the
- 19:12little girl with the red hair who gets the secret her face right at the
- 19:18end before I transition to something else. It's just so good. That's why
- 19:22I kept using it over and over again, because I was just like that's
- 19:23that'll do it. It was perfect. No, that's a sneak peek because
- 19:29I don't think that comes out until next week. Because Santa Claus was this
- 19:33week in the Naughty List. Mmm. Yes, they are indeed on the
- 19:40Naughty List. They are on the Naughty List. Well, guess what I
- 19:47am going to try to do a live in February, Yes, from like
- 19:52boot them. When I am in Finland. I'm trying to find a little
- 19:57cabin to rent in the area of that lake where the murders were. And
- 20:07if I'm able to do that, I will live stream and maybe share walk
- 20:11outside and walk around, but I will stand a cabin on a tent because
- 20:17it'll be like negative for I think I like my nipples attached to my body,
- 20:26so I probably won't sleep us. I mean, if they have glamping
- 20:32where there's a little space heater, I would do that. But considering I'm
- 20:36going to do this as a single female on my own, and remember this
- 20:41is Finland, not Texas, so there will be no gun, there will
- 20:45be no taser. It'll just be me. So I'm thinking a cabin might
- 20:53be a little bit safer and lower my chances of getting killed. Yeah,
- 21:02I mean at least it'll it'll put a barrier in the way. It'll make
- 21:06for a better movie later on. So now I wonder if I'll be able
- 21:11to live stream from Finland. Is there any legal things if you've got a
- 21:19cabin, Well, it depends on if there's Wi Fi. If there's Wi
- 21:22Fi, now I'll have Wi Fi. But now I'm talking about is there
- 21:26any international things? Not at all? No, yay. So yeah,
- 21:32so even if I don't get to stand a cabin, I am gonna take
- 21:37a what do you call those things? Uber and go check it out because
- 21:42I am staying the weekend past when we're done with meetings. Yes, so
- 21:48I'm excited. I like this. Toush says, I will never sleep anywhere
- 21:55without a door. Yeah that's fair. Well you don't hash a sad face,
- 22:02I get it. Yeah. Well, we went to the Snow Hotel.
- 22:06When we were there in February of this year. We couldn't stay there
- 22:08because they were booked. There's no doors on the rooms. It's a big
- 22:15slab of ice that's like this and then this side, so that you can
- 22:18walk around it and go in the room. There's no doors to your room.
- 22:22So when you're sleeping. People are walking down the hallway. They could
- 22:26just walk right on into your room and say hi, Yeah you have like
- 22:33remind me of the scene from National Lampoon's European Vacation where he totally gets into
- 22:37the wrong room in the beginning of the movie. And it's the the fella
- 22:45who's based at drag Queen. Uh and uh, I've never seen an He
- 22:51thinks it's his wife and you haven't seen Oh God, double h, double
- 22:56h. He's seen it. He loves it. You're gonna have to watch
- 23:00it. Guess what I did watch? Speaking of movies, I meant to
- 23:04post this. I watched Shrek. Was it better this time? It was
- 23:11so much better. They're like cute little love couple, right, and I
- 23:18still think that Donkey is just the best thing. I mean, Eddie Murphy,
- 23:22but it was much sweeter and there's some adult humor in there. There's
- 23:29some like little things. I'm like, ooh ooh, so yes it was.
- 23:38It was good. Yeah, JT. Did you watch Jim on the
- 23:44Holograms? No? No, And I'll tell you why, because I was
- 23:49I was intent. I was so intent on finishing Pose and then Drag Race
- 23:57All Stars four. I just didn't get to, although I think I do
- 24:03think since we did the last one, I'm pretty sure I finished like two
- 24:07or three more cross ditches. So but no, I need to watch it.
- 24:15I will. You have to before we come back in the new year.
- 24:21You have to just gonna go out on a lemon say that. I'm
- 24:26gonna need you to drive me crazy reminding me. Okay, you want me
- 24:36to do that, well, I just want you to out. Just remind
- 24:38me now and again. Just make sure, okay, I can do that
- 24:41daily, every hour on the hour I have every hour on the hour.
- 24:47Well, I'll definitely do it. I've got so I'm wrapping up a cute
- 24:55cross ditch that says precious Cargo, and it's got grow Baby Yoda on the
- 24:59botto, and I am now embarking on a journey to see how this works.
- 25:06But this journey is a fifty inch by twenty inch piece of canvas that
- 25:12I'm cross stitching all one hundred and fifty one Pokemon on, or the first
- 25:21one hundred and fifty one it's about I think it's like over one hundred and
- 25:26twenty thousand stitches. So the instructions are like thirty one pages long in like
- 25:33that is massive? And can I just ask, why are you jumping from
- 25:40small to so big? Isn't there like a medium size you could try first?
- 25:44So I mean I've done like a six by eleven. Oh okay,
- 25:48as I didn't. I did a birth announcement for my brother in law,
- 25:52which he doesn't know yet because I haven't. You know, it's finished,
- 25:56it's just not framed. I saw that one well as it was that okay,
- 26:03So I don't know. You know, I'm just gonna attack it in
- 26:04pieces, you know, and as long as I get it done by the
- 26:07time Jamie graduates, it'll be fine. So but uh, we're gonna go.
- 26:12It's so like it's adorable. Let me see if I can find a
- 26:15picture of it real quick, and then we'll probably hop into the cases.
- 26:18I just can't. I would not be good at cross stitch. I don't
- 26:25see it calming me. I would see it frustrating me and making me angry.
- 26:32Oh my gosh, this is so funny. Does your brother in law
- 26:36not know about the baby? I know he does, in fact, I
- 26:41just did. I just did a family photo session for them. They're adorable.
- 26:47Some of the photos I posted on Facebook that you saw Terry were from
- 26:49that I did. That is funny, though, does he not know about
- 26:56the baby? What's Isn't there a joke about the blonde girl goes to the
- 27:00doctor and the doctor says something like you're pregnant or you're having a baby,
- 27:06and she goes, Oh, I forget what the joke is, but there's
- 27:08a joke about that. There it is. That's it. Holy shit.
- 27:15Yeah, you're gonna cross stitch all of that. Yep, Okay, that's
- 27:25impressive that you're even gonna try. Oh look at Pikachu, look at Charmiander.
- 27:30Oh look at your Gli Puff. It's like it's ordered from bottom to
- 27:34the top. Yeah, by like their numbers, which is awesome. And
- 27:40it's the first it's the only Pokemon that I recognized, which is the first
- 27:41one hundred and fifty one. So wow. But yeah, do you still
- 27:48play Pokemon go? Uh No, No, I don't have I wish I
- 27:55had the wherewithal See, this is why I crossed ditch because my focus is
- 27:57crap. Yeah, I do thirty minutes a week, third, I see,
- 28:06I just I'm stuck on a couple other things. Apple Arcade just got
- 28:11Dreamlight Valley. So which is well, I've been making Christmas decorations. I
- 28:18don't cross stitch, but I do I do crafty stuff. And I made
- 28:22a couple of new wreaths this year. Wreath maker. Wreathmaker. Yes,
- 28:30I have sixty wreaths in our attic that I made when I was doing the
- 28:36store that I made and then people are like, oh, I want that,
- 28:40but I want it in this color. So I have the originals left
- 28:44and I'm going to I've decided after the first of the year, I'm going
- 28:47to put them up for sale for like fifteen twenty five dollars max and try
- 28:55to sell them all and donate that money to the Chase Lackey fund. Ooh
- 29:00so, if y'all are looking for a wreath, stay tuned. Yes,
- 29:03stay tuned, because there's Valantine. I mean, I got all kind of
- 29:08stuff well, and Terry made the kit my kids a wreath that's adorable and
- 29:15has all these cool colors and has has the buzz and woody in the middle,
- 29:19not vibrators, the actual toys and it's just adorable. So you know,
- 29:26I can attest to Terry's amazing work. And it made it through the
- 29:30mail so, and it made it through the mail. Okay. I don't
- 29:34know why, but this comment just cracks me up because when I read it,
- 29:40it's not what I said in my head what the words actually say.
- 29:48I mean, uh, taking that at face value, I do tend to
- 29:53move pretty quickly through those projects, but also as just a haha, tia,
- 30:00it's the only thing I'm fast at. Then there's this one that says
- 30:06it was huge. Okay, guys, I just probably should apologize. Now.
- 30:11My brain is way good thing. I'm not at work, and this
- 30:15isn't like a professional where I could get fired being an HR, because today
- 30:19my brain's in one of those places where I would definitely get fired for saying
- 30:22stuff that I shouldn't. I'm about to ruin your night with my case.
- 30:32Oh shit, that's right, you're doing that Ian guy. Oh god,
- 30:37I'm gonna flut up that banner now. I'm gonna guys, we're gonna see
- 30:41if I text double H if he will make me a martini and bring it
- 30:45to me, because I think I'm gonna need it, an extra dirty one.
- 30:49Do you think he'll do it? I think you will. May I
- 30:56think it? Hey, Martini with two blue cheese awlaves, please and thank
- 31:07you. Okay, we'll see Okay, go ahead and ruin. Okay,
- 31:14before you absolutely ruined my day, can I tell you one very funny story
- 31:21because you have kids, yes, please, so grandson Jackson. We had
- 31:26them two weekends ago for monkey Butt's birthday and he spent the night with us,
- 31:33and I got him a little stuffed dog with a little hat on,
- 31:37and I keep trying to tell him my name is Terry, not Mama,
- 31:41and he just doesn't get it. Well, he decided that name was cute
- 31:45and he named the stuff dog Terry. And so when I told him,
- 31:49I'm like, so you're saying I'm a dog and now you've named your dog
- 31:55at me. He took it and he goes, but I love Terry.
- 31:59I said, oh, so you love Terry more than me. He goes,
- 32:00oh, no, Mama, I love you more. I don't like
- 32:04Terry. I love kids, and I haven't had little win since so long.
- 32:12It just it was just funny because there is no correlation to him on
- 32:17Mama and the name Terry. He just he doesn't get it. So I
- 32:22wanted to share that funny before you read my day, before I ruin your
- 32:28day. Well I'm gonna oh, all right. So being a rock star
- 32:36affords one a lot of freedom. Sure, there's artistic freedom, doors open
- 32:38to them that might not typically be open. But if behaviors remain unchecked,
- 32:42rock stars can get lost while speeding down the highway of life at hundreds of
- 32:45miles per hour. Brian Van Dyke says rockstardom isn't compatible with satisfaction. It
- 32:52is in essence, satisfaction is very antithesis. To be a rock star is
- 32:55to revel in need, because it is the ongoing and relentless need of the
- 33:00audience that calls them into being. I think there's something in what Brian says,
- 33:04and whether it's the music artist who feels that way or the business of
- 33:07music that drives the feeling of always needing more, producing more, earning more,
- 33:12it is a reality that well we have to consider rock stars aren't born.
- 33:17I think it's safe to say that it's nurture and not nature, although
- 33:21we are led to believe that some are born with an innate talent for music,
- 33:24which that paired with sheer luck, can lead to someone becoming a larger
- 33:28than life rockstar. I think it's the need or want for more that seems
- 33:34to drive celebrities or rock stars. Lane Staley, the singer for Alison Chains,
- 33:39did an amazing job called Millions, despite the drug problem that Staley had
- 33:44that was debilitating. But that's not why he became a rock star. In
- 33:49Staley's case, he wanted to become a rock star as a kid because he
- 33:51believed becoming a celebrity would lead to his father to get back in touch with
- 33:53him. Yeah, so he ended up dying way too soon. He was
- 34:00emaciated, he was living alone in an apartment because that didn't happen, and
- 34:06he said he regretted how his life was ending. And Van Dyke said it
- 34:09was quote as if he were following someone else's script. But that's kind of
- 34:15how I see rock stars most of the time. It's a script that's followed
- 34:17to ensure quote unquote greatness. I don't think rock stars have as much autonomy
- 34:23as we think they do, as they make us believe they do, so
- 34:28they search for other ways to find that autonomy. And going back to Van
- 34:31Dyke, he says the function of the rock star is at the most existential
- 34:35level, the function of the hero, the comforter, the shaman, the
- 34:37all in one. We look to them for relief at moments when we need
- 34:42to pick up, or when we need to fill the quiet of an empty
- 34:45room or the boring lull of a long drive. We turn to pop stars
- 34:50as teenagers because they assure us of the possibilities of the world ahead. As
- 34:53adults, they also sometimes remind us of the orderly calm of the nostalgic past.
- 34:58They are like us, but not us, possessed of our appetites,
- 35:01but appetites at a scale that would kill most normal human beings. I think,
- 35:13I think this, this is really important to remember. In most cases.
- 35:16I am quite aware that this could be misinterpreted as me excusing behaviors,
- 35:21and I'm definitely not. There are some behaviors that are beyond anything or any
- 35:24one thing that you know that could have contributed to to the situation. I
- 35:30think it's just important to gain perspective or bring another interesting idea to the table.
- 35:32But why right, Well, when I read through the documentation I could
- 35:37find on Ian Watkins, I wondered about the psyche of a rock star,
- 35:40like, what did it mean to be one? You know? Why do
- 35:44people work to attain that status? What does it due to that person?
- 35:46And I found a lot of that in Brian Van Dyke's article called The Fault
- 35:50in Our rock Stars, which is a very clever title. If you know
- 35:52the Fault in Our Stars, the book The Fault in Our rock Stars,
- 35:57look it up. It's short, but it's really really interesting fault in Our
- 36:00rock Stars. So we're going to talk about lost Prophets singer Ian Watkins today
- 36:06and I'm not gonna lie. And this is your trigger warning. This case
- 36:07is pretty rough, not in terms of gore and murder, but in terms
- 36:14of sexual abuse of a child, grooming and more. I will say this
- 36:17now. If this is not something you're comfortable with, or if it's triggering,
- 36:22I implore you to think before you continue on. No no harm,
- 36:28no foul is right, yeah, right. So I think what is important
- 36:36to know is am I getting to get into the nitty gritty details on every
- 36:38one of his charges? I assure am not. That's a ten to four
- 36:43hell no, uh no, one needs to hear about every detail I read
- 36:47in this that I read in the sentencing remarks. If you want to read
- 36:50that, it'll be in the sources section. And uh, you know,
- 36:54I'm going to give you the broad strokes with a few details along the way,
- 36:58kind of like a Bob Ross painting from Hell. Basically all those happy
- 37:01trees on fire. This person's still alive. Yes, oh darn, I
- 37:10I mean I didn't mean it that way. But you know, no,
- 37:14oh darn is right. No, absolutely, you'll feel fine with asking that
- 37:20question later. So. Ian Watkins was born Ian David Carslake Watkins on July
- 37:28thirtieth, nineteen seventy seven. Around yeah today or not today, but this
- 37:35year he's either forty five or forty six. Math, I don't do it.
- 37:37He was born in methmrtherr tidfil Wales. I need I need pop it
- 37:44on. Where where is? Where's Lisa? I need Lisa Wilmot on mrther
- 37:49Tidful, Wales, But was raised in Ponty Pride. I think it's Ponty
- 37:52Pride. His father died when he was a child, and his mother,
- 37:57Elaine, remarried John Davis, a Baptist minister. Mom and John had a
- 38:01child, Daniel, and they all seemed to get along just fine. It
- 38:07seemed to be an uneventful life growing up. In fact, Daniel said he
- 38:09was so proud of his brother Ian until he found out what was going on.
- 38:14Ian not only seemed to have a good life with good and supportive parents,
- 38:20he was also extremely intelligent. He was a straight A student and went
- 38:22to Hawthorne High School. He graduated from there and went to the University of
- 38:25Wales where he received the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in a graphic design.
- 38:30The British call it a first class honors degree, so he was in graphic
- 38:32design. Their degrees sound so fancy. I'm just gonna say I love it.
- 38:40Fantastic, all right. So in terms of music, when he was
- 38:45at Hawthorne High School, he met Mike Lewis, who would eventually become a
- 38:47bandmate of his and lost profits. They created a band in ninety one called
- 38:52Aftermath, which was a thrash metal band that literally played in a shed in
- 38:55watkins garden. Watkins abandoned Aftermath and created a new band with League called Fleshbind.
- 39:00This was also could be called Condom. I guess this was less thrash
- 39:07and more American hardcore punk. This group didn't last very long. Watkins then
- 39:13reunited with his former drummer of Aftermath, Mike Lewis, and they played in
- 39:16a hardcore band called Public Disturbance. Yep, such weird names, I know.
- 39:24At the same time, Watkins and Gays then created their own band,
- 39:28Lost Prophets, who made their live debut alongside the band Public Disturbance, which
- 39:31means that Watkins was playing in both bands at the same time. Ultimately,
- 39:37Lost Profits released five studio albums between two thousand and twenty twelve. They toured
- 39:43in Europe and America. They received several Korrang awards and nominations and sold over
- 39:47three million albums worldwide. Reportedly, he was a world famous He was world
- 39:55famous as a rock singer who refused to drink or do drugs. At some
- 40:00point in two thousand and eight, this seems to change, though, and
- 40:02his behavior changed as well. Along with adding drugs to his life, he
- 40:07reportedly became obsessed with online pornography and images depicting abuse, get a little more
- 40:12and to found what was on his computer. Later. While this can tend
- 40:17to lead someone down a path, for sure, I don't know if it
- 40:22was the only thing. I think there's plenty of unreported items or things we
- 40:25don't know about him that he felt did whatever that led him to where he
- 40:29ended up. If everybody. You know, plenty more people than just him
- 40:34look at porn, even even aggressive or violent porn, which I'm not advocating
- 40:39for obviously, but they don't end up going this route. So even was
- 40:45in and out of relationships, But then again, you know, so was
- 40:49I early two thousands in a relationship with musician Alicia Simmons, two thousand and
- 40:53three to two thousand and five in a relationship with Marissa Festa, now married
- 40:58to a guitarist in the rock band AFI. Then he dated Fear and Cotton,
- 41:01an English broadcaster, Oh sorry, not Fear and Fern Cotton, English
- 41:06broadcaster and author. They were together for a few months and oh five,
- 41:08and from six to eleven he dated and became engaged to long term girlfriend Joanne
- 41:14Nikita, magic and English model. She broke this off due to well the
- 41:20obvious reasons as we're going to get into. So as far as I could
- 41:25track back, although he was charged in twenty twelve, this goes back to
- 41:30six and it gets increasingly worse, and it's truly a descent into darkness and
- 41:34depravity. And I think it should be said that the band has been described
- 41:37by a story in the BBC News as quote peddling angst and rebellion, sweetened
- 41:43by an anthemic oh Man anthem anthemic course, choruses and a punk meat skater
- 41:50boy image. Lost profits attracted many disenfranchised young fans. Why is that important?
- 41:54Well, the main reason is, first it's probably true having listened to
- 41:59some of their stuff while researching this, but also because Ian Watkins preyed on
- 42:02his fans, and I think he knew the type of fans that his band,
- 42:06his band had and he used that to his advantage while taking advantage of
- 42:10them. In two thousand and seven, Watkins met up with a girl from
- 42:17Boston, Massachusetts. The girl reached out saying she was a fan. Now
- 42:22here's where I want to make it. Here's why I want to make it
- 42:24incredibly clear. The reports of this state and I quote saying she was a
- 42:30fan and was a virgin and went on to meet him. I'm wearing a
- 42:34schoolgirl uniform in a New York hotel. I will add this that in the
- 42:38sentencing remarks from the judge it to find more of what happened in terms of
- 42:42what he convinced her to do. So in the report which I feel like
- 42:47schoolgirl uniform other than identifying her is not really that important, but so is.
- 42:57This is what the judge wrote. You met t T. They obviously
- 43:00gave everybody so what we're looking for. There's a fancy name for alias.
- 43:08Well just say alias. You're gonna give everybody alias. This pseudonym, pseudonym.
- 43:15That's it. Thank you. But I finally get there. Oh I'm
- 43:21well, I didn't even get there, So you win, all right.
- 43:25You met tt after a Lost Prophets concert when she was a sixteen year old
- 43:29virgin. The prospect of taking her virginity excited you. You got her to
- 43:32dress in a schoolgirl's outfit, and you videoed her and you having oral,
- 43:38vaginal and anal sex. You asked her whether she enjoyed being your underage slot.
- 43:43At the end, you urinated over her face and told her to drink.
- 43:49In other words, news outlet's check the facts before reporting on something,
- 43:52making it sound like you're blaming the victim. And it has nothing to do
- 43:57with the fact that she was wearing a school girl uniform. She was brainwashed.
- 44:06Watkins decide, I know we went souths real fast. It's gonna get
- 44:08worse. In October of two thousand and eight, Two years later, he
- 44:16filmed himself having sex with yet another sixteen year old fan and urinated on them.
- 44:22This is a string of similar offenses that he committed, and it's not
- 44:25just these two, but that does give you a small idea of how to
- 44:29brave this man started. Paul's is right, Yes, groomed, thank you?
- 44:32Okay, that is the true I'm gonna drink before you say the urine
- 44:36thing again, because every time I go to drink you say that. Yeah,
- 44:42sorry, Kelly, p I'm doing that. Yeah last time, super
- 44:45trigger warning and yes, yes, except well, I don't know the extent
- 44:53of our Kelly's crimes, but I don't think that these are m I don't
- 45:00think he went this route. I think he was pretty up there. Who
- 45:05was he? Okay, Well, I know that he was a terrible human
- 45:07being. I just don't know what the ages. I don't I don't know
- 45:12if his ages went this. Yeah, we get young, Okay. So
- 45:17Ian Watkins was charged in twenty twelve with crimes that shouldn't even have to be
- 45:22drafted as crimes. But he was a fucking terrible human and he and others
- 45:29are the reasons we have them. We're gonna get back to the story that
- 45:31happened kind of throughout the years, you know, six and twelve, just
- 45:35to explain his psyche and how fuck he was. I literally wrote F bombs
- 45:38in this That's how pissed off I was. But until then, here's kind
- 45:42of what he was charged with. Attempted rape of a child under thirteen,
- 45:45sexual assault of a child under thirteen, taking, making or possessing indecent images
- 45:50of children, possessing an extreme pornographic image, involving a sex act on an
- 45:53animal. The total number of charges looks like it was around thirty two of
- 45:59them, but that's the animals. Yeah, let's go back to four and
- 46:12talk about I know about his interactions and messages relationship with a woman who met
- 46:15him backstage in an overseas gig that year. Why do I want to cover
- 46:20that part because it gives you a little more in terms of the process of
- 46:22manipulation and the shit that he went through with people or what people went through
- 46:27with him. As I said above, after their initial meeting two years earlier,
- 46:31she messaged him for tickets to the music festival. They started up a
- 46:35sexual relationship, including meetings over the years. Quote, we went to the
- 46:39show and we were backstage. He came out and met her, met her
- 46:45daughter. So this was the woman asked for tickets. Her daughter was with
- 46:46her. He met her daughter and took her and took some photos, and
- 46:52everything was normal. And then he later signed a poster address to my daughter
- 46:54describing her as quote beautiful. Later he actually saw the photos of him and
- 46:59my daughter and her friend and a few years later said him and my daughter
- 47:02would make a really good looking couple. She was seven in the photo.
- 47:07Oh my god. By twenty ten, the woman was convinced he was insane.
- 47:15He was inviting her to shows all the time to quote help him.
- 47:19He wanted her to find young girls at the show. He said, quote,
- 47:24you can find us some young sluts to abuse. She told me,
- 47:31yeah, yep, yeah. She told him that he was using his fame
- 47:37and that those young girls love you, and you were using your fame to
- 47:40live out sexual fantasy, she said. Watkins kept in touch with a network
- 47:45of groupies around the world. She knew at least seven others throughout Europe.
- 47:49And not just like fans. These these were people who were possibly doing what
- 47:53he asked this woman to do. Early in twenty ten, Watkins would pretty
- 48:00much talk obsessively about drugs and his child abuse fantasies to the women he was
- 48:04meeting for sex. Quote. He would talk about what he wanted to do
- 48:07to babies. But you never think there's a fan out there that would say,
- 48:09here's my baby. He wanted to he wanted it was his goal to
- 48:19be evil. His words, not mine. He suggested that he and the
- 48:25woman I had mentioned should have a baby because he wanted to raise it to
- 48:29be evil like him. Quote. A year later, he said he wanted
- 48:32us to have a baby so he could have his way with the baby and
- 48:35my daughter could watch how it's done. What the absolute buckery and the fact
- 48:45that he felt so confident telling someone that, yeah, oh, we probably
- 48:53should give another trigger warning. We have a new person who's tread. I
- 49:00hit the wrong one and then we both hit it. Yeah, so hi,
- 49:05thanks for joining. It happens to be that you. I'm catching up.
- 49:09Last time, we did a theme called outrageous crimes murders, crimes.
- 49:15This is the case of Ian Watkins, the Lost Prophet singer. There is
- 49:21a trigger warning, there was one in the beginning. We'll do it again
- 49:23though this does involve crimes against very very young children. I do not get
- 49:30extremely graphic or detailed. I do give broad strokes, so you will get
- 49:34a little bit of the terrible and by that I mean it's just a deep,
- 49:37terrible darkness. So I apologize that this is the first one you've been
- 49:42part of, but thank you for being here. And I just wanted to
- 49:45say, if you're not comfortable with it, this is a case that we're
- 49:50covering from when JT was sounding so sexy but was sick. So if you
- 49:57want to drop and come back in twenty minutes, we will be covering our
- 50:00normal cases. Because I knew it was bad, I didn't know it was
- 50:05this bad. And yeah, I would say they could come back. I
- 50:13would say twenty minutes, twenty or thirty. Yeah, okay, I am
- 50:17re messaging Double H please I need that drink. This case walks. I'm
- 50:29gonna call him from my phone now so that he'll know. Yeah, And
- 50:34I mean this is not a comparison thing. But for as bad as this
- 50:37all sounds, reading the sentencing document was heart wrenching. Okay, so at
- 50:51one point he wanted to get together with Oh what did what did double H
- 50:54say? Before? I? Oh, I called in he goes, yes,
- 50:59I said to read your text please, I'm I will since we're talking
- 51:10about Batman and it's a nice little breather. I've gone back and listened to
- 51:15that episode twice because I love your boys. So, uh, Minnesota twin
- 51:25mom, this was uh well, it's known to be from six to twelve.
- 51:30Uh, but it's probably been going on in jail general for a while.
- 51:37But he's in prison, so you know, I'll spoiler alert that one.
- 51:44So at one point he wanted to get together with that woman and her
- 51:47daughter. No sorry, sorry, she He wanted to get together with the
- 51:52woman who he was trying to get to come to all the concerts and that
- 51:58and that woman's mom. Yeah, she firmly rejected all of that. He
- 52:05wanted her mom's address so that he could pay her a visit skype. He
- 52:08wanted me to go and get her from the other room he was masturbating,
- 52:13so she could see how hot he was and so that she could tell the
- 52:16woman how much she wanted him. Then there was an instance in which this
- 52:22conversation happened, and I've pieced it together from the report. In one chilling
- 52:28message sent on March fourth, twenty eleven, the woman innocently asked him to
- 52:34DJA at her daughter's birthday party. This was the same woman, wat This
- 52:40is quite obnoxious and I don't know what is going on, but words,
- 52:45we will have words later. I didn't pay what I paid for this microphone
- 52:50to have this issue. Okay, So she asked him to be a DJ
- 52:54at her daughter's birthday party, Watkins replied, even my MIC's given up.
- 53:04Watkins replied, quote only if I can blank her. When the woman protested,
- 53:09the Twisted star posted a winking face and wrote quote haha, before telling
- 53:15her show her that pick of me and see what she says. You hate
- 53:20it. You hate it that she thinks I'm hot. And this is the
- 53:25seven year old. Uh yeah, she may have been a little older by
- 53:30this point, but it doesn't matter. You know, she wasn't a consenting
- 53:35adult. Yes, okay, yeah, no not at all. I'm not
- 53:40gonna lie. I would have shut the shit down years before, but I
- 53:43don't know the full context and the situation. I don't know what she was
- 53:46going through. I don't know what manipulation was involved. I am not one
- 53:50to judge, so I shall not throw stones in a glasshouse. I think,
- 53:57you know, overall the whole situation, and it would have been good
- 54:00if it was shut down. But we are where we are. There's just
- 54:05a lot of shit here, and it's a lot of bad shit. She
- 54:07asked why Ian was doing what he was doing, and he said it was
- 54:09because he was bored and wanted to spread his evil. Of course, this
- 54:16wasn't the only person that he was grooming, communicating with, or manipulating.
- 54:21I'm sure there were a lot of them. One is too many, but
- 54:22I'm sure there were hundreds over the years in which we think he was actively
- 54:25doing this. So I'm just gonna kind of glance through the sentencing document from
- 54:30the judge. It's horrifying. We talked about that, what the judge wrote
- 54:37regarding the two thousand and seven meet up he had with his sixteen year old
- 54:38fan. So we're gonna move past that. This is a part of the
- 54:42introduction. Any decent person looking at and listening to the material here will experience
- 54:47shock, revulsion, anger, and incredulity. What you three did plumbed new
- 54:52depths of depravity. Now you might be saying, wait a second, why
- 55:00three, Well, Watkins was able to find two women with infants or babies
- 55:05who were willing to do what he asked them to do. Willing or was
- 55:09he paying them? I mean, I'm asking because as a mom, I'm
- 55:15going to just be honest. I am struggling to wrap my head around this.
- 55:23Well, we'll get there, Okay, get there. We're going to
- 55:28talk about it briefly for a bit, but again, not a bunch,
- 55:30because I draw the line at some places, like we might have listened to
- 55:35Jody Arius the entire trial, h but we even didn't listen to much of
- 55:37the sex tape because it's too much. Okay, So continuing on with what
- 55:45the judge said, you Watkins achieved fame and success as the lead singer of
- 55:50the Lost Prophets. You had many fawning fans that gave you power. You
- 55:53knew you could use that power to induce young female fans to help satisfy your
- 55:58apparently insatiable lust and to take part in the sexual abuse of their young children.
- 56:02Away from the highlights of your public performances lay a dark and sinister side.
- 56:07In addition to the sixteen year old in seven, there was a count
- 56:10dating back to August eight, which I briefly mentioned above. He videoed her
- 56:15having oral sex with him, and she has seen snorting white powder that she
- 56:20was told was cocaine. Drugs were a huge link and they were involved in
- 56:24a lot of the activities he wished to and did participate in. One count
- 56:32related to around ninety in decent photos of children ages two to fourteen. A
- 56:37group was called in to help police access encrypted files on watkins computer. They
- 56:43found that one of his passwords was quote I fuck kids. Another count involves
- 56:53image that sounded like I was saying that flippantly. I wasn't. I'm so
- 56:59so unbelievable. I've done this case before, It's still unbelievable. Another count
- 57:07involves images and videos of extreme pornography, including twenty two images of beastiality,
- 57:10including sex with dogs. Now, in addition to Watkins, two women were
- 57:15charged. Two women were charged and were convicted along with him. The first
- 57:21woman met Watkins at the age of nineteen and twenty eleven. She was manipulated
- 57:25by him, but what happened to her ten month old infant is ungodly.
- 57:30They had detailed discussions about the sexual acts the two of them were going to
- 57:34subject her infant too. I believe the infant was indeed introduced to methamphetam.
- 57:39I mean they recorded a video of Watkins doing terrible things to the infant.
- 57:44Mother did as well. A little while or later, she sent him a
- 57:47text saying, quote, the boys ready to be abused. It's just horrible.
- 57:52The second woman, she was twenty two or twenty three when she met
- 57:57Watkins, with communication starting August twenty twelve. They spoke of moving in together,
- 58:01and Watkins said, quote, if you belong to me, so does
- 58:04your baby. She responded, quote understandable a mother daughter's slave duo worshiping you.
- 58:10You you got that right at the right time. Sorry, strong strength,
- 58:19it is and it needed to be. Go dub h. I'm all
- 58:24right. I I'm sorry. I just really am struggling with the whole mom.
- 58:34I know, I know, I know. I don't know what then
- 58:37again, I don't know what their context was. I don't know if they
- 58:39were in a situation. I'm sorry for apologizing for saying I wish she wasn't
- 58:45alive. I am not sorry. I said that. Yeah, I didn't
- 58:47think you would be by back. I told, uh, okay, communication.
- 58:57So oh, Megan, you ask a good question, is it you
- 58:59can so the he toured both in the US and Europe, and he definitely
- 59:05had more than just one or two people that I read about who were helping
- 59:08him out. Maybe not with children as young as these two instances, but
- 59:13in general so I'm pretty sure it's happened here too. I believe more people
- 59:16have come around in each chest in the US. Are you going to get
- 59:22not that I know of. We might get to it. I can't.
- 59:25I'm trying to remember this case. It's been a while since I've read through
- 59:29it in its entirety. Communications included conversations about forcing the little girl to engage
- 59:36in sex with animals and how to take drugs. He referred to her child
- 59:38as quote, my little fuck toy. Her child was nothing more than an
- 59:42object. She sent extremely graphic videos to Watkins of her daughter, and they
- 59:45had skype sessions involving her daughter and actions done to her daughter, as well
- 59:50as as as he sat there and gratified himself for as bad as you think
- 59:54this is. The sentencing document again was very graphic, and it was very
- 1:00:04graphic sentences Watkins Watkins thirty five years. He has to serve two thirds of
- 1:00:13the custodial turn before he can even be considered for release by the parole board
- 1:00:15in twenty twenty nine. Way too close. First woman got for twenty twenty
- 1:00:24nine. Before he's from the corner. Yeah, I think that there are
- 1:00:35some well there are some other things. There's some other things in a little
- 1:00:37bit here. So the first woman got fourteen years, the second woman got
- 1:00:42seventeen years, which means to me that they found something extremely terrible from these
- 1:00:50like there were no there there was nothing that would judge justify. There's nothing
- 1:00:54justifying this one. Am I talking about Jesus? Of course they were fucking
- 1:00:58charged. Here's the conclude one of the part of the conclusion statement from the
- 1:01:00judge. I am satisfied that you are a deeply corrupting influence. You are
- 1:01:05a highly manipulative, you are a sexual predator. You are dangerous The public,
- 1:01:08in particular young females and children need protection from you bobbies. Okay,
- 1:01:15we all needed puppies. We needed the puppies. Are my dogs were scratching
- 1:01:22at the door. Look, look there's the puppies we need these times.
- 1:01:25Do you say, hi, Josie, Hi Jasamin. Okay, I'll put
- 1:01:31them down, singer later. But they were scratching at the door because they
- 1:01:37heard daddy come in here. Ah. Yes, needed puppies. Yeah yeah,
- 1:01:44support pupps. That's very true. I made this okay. I won't
- 1:01:49hurt you. Okay. So uh. The judge basically ripped them a new
- 1:01:52one in the concluding statement by concluding by saying, the public in particular,
- 1:01:57oh, you you probably heard it? You have you? Did you hear
- 1:02:00me say that? What the concluding because you didn't have to take off your
- 1:02:02headphones? Did you? I did? Oh? You did? Okay?
- 1:02:06Sorry? Sorry? Sorry. He concluded by saying, the public, in
- 1:02:08particular young females and children need protection from you. He said, yeah.
- 1:02:12So. Other comments around this trial included the following. Detective Peter Doyle said
- 1:02:15the sentences reflected the gravity of the crimes and the investigation uncovered the most disturbing
- 1:02:20child abuse evidence he has seen in his twenty eight years as an officer.
- 1:02:23Quote. Today's sentence does not mark the end of our investigations, and we
- 1:02:28will work tirelessly to identify any other victims or witnesses and seek the justice they
- 1:02:31deserve. I don't know if they found anything else, but I couldn't find
- 1:02:37any other stories yours? Why only thirty five years. I don't know.
- 1:02:43We're talking a ten month old child. So Suzanne Thomas of the Crown Prosecution
- 1:02:51Service said he is a highly dangerous, manipulative individual who preyed on his victor
- 1:02:54victims in a calculated manner. The other two defendants were active part sense in
- 1:03:00the most shocking abuse of their own children. It's not over. A day
- 1:03:04after admitting two counts of attempted rape of an infant before the trial, he
- 1:03:07told a female fan that he was going to issue a statement when he was
- 1:03:13sentenced, saying it had all been quote mega lols. Okay, so this
- 1:03:22is super haunting, because yeah, yeah, so this is super haunting basically
- 1:03:27because the phrase mega lols was used by the Lost Prophets on some of their
- 1:03:30t shirts. The group also performed in front of a backdrop that said mega
- 1:03:35lols on the main stage of the Reading Festive in twenty ten. But it's
- 1:03:40still not over. He takes no responsibility, only shows enough remorse about him
- 1:03:45being caught in nothing more. While in prison, he's been found to have
- 1:03:49through letters, bombarded a mom with demands for raunchy photos. He signs the
- 1:03:53letters as the King of Dancers and the boy Wonder. He was affectionate in
- 1:03:59parts of the letters, but becomes increasingly insistent and forceful as time goes on.
- 1:04:02The worst part about this is that the exchange started after he was convicted
- 1:04:08and lasted until twenty seventeen, all while the woman had a six year old
- 1:04:12daughter. She had to be blocked by the Ministry of Justice, who said
- 1:04:15that he posed a serious threat towards her daughter's safety and her own well being.
- 1:04:19So, yeah, okay, I know I live in Texas and Texas
- 1:04:25is on crack right now, but we're really good stuff like that, because
- 1:04:31he would not be allowed to get mail. It literally every document would be
- 1:04:36expected, and if it was anything besides hey, I loved your music,
- 1:04:44they wouldn't give it to you. And whoever's running that prison they need to
- 1:04:49stop him from getting any communication or are they to take it and go show
- 1:04:56the other inmates what he's asking for accidentally, because I can bet you they'll
- 1:05:00take care of me and show him what it feels like to be honest.
- 1:05:05Huh. So, yeah, she had to be blocked by the Ministry of
- 1:05:12Justice. Despite all of this, she still remained sympathetic to him and said
- 1:05:15that he was a sick man who should be in a hospital rather than a
- 1:05:17prison. She said, quote, I didn't think his messages were inappropriate.
- 1:05:21I think he's a bit of a flirt and it was just flirty stuff which
- 1:05:25went both ways. It was harmless. Despite that, somebody reported her to
- 1:05:29the police and social services. I believe social services may have either temporarily or
- 1:05:38taken her child. I cannot remember. I'm blanking, but it's all not
- 1:05:45over. In twenty nineteen, he was convicted of having a three inch g
- 1:05:49Star mobile in his cell. While being strip searched. They found it right
- 1:05:55up his old bum first to use the classic it's not mine. I it
- 1:06:01didn't. I don't. How do you have a mobile phone in your button?
- 1:06:06It's not yours? But okay, sat on it. He's that on
- 1:06:13it. That was it. He's that on by accident, looped up and
- 1:06:15everything in a glove. That's an additional ten years. Oh yeah, so
- 1:06:21he said after that excuse didn't play ball. He said he was worried his
- 1:06:26mother wouldn't be able to see him, so he wanted to speak with her,
- 1:06:29but he actually used his phone to contact at least one woman he knew
- 1:06:32who reported the cell phone possession to the police quote. She appeared at the
- 1:06:36trial stating that she had known Watkins back when she was nineteen and that the
- 1:06:41two had previously dated before breaking off contact in twenty twelve. The pair apparently
- 1:06:45reconnected back in twenty sixteen after he's in prison via letter's phone calls and emails
- 1:06:51sent legitimately from prison. So he was communicating with this woman without her consent
- 1:06:56via the cell phone that was taken away from him. He was convicted of
- 1:06:59that, and upon reaching date for parole, they're going to add ten months
- 1:07:01to his prison sentence. Ten months, I said, ten years. Yeah,
- 1:07:06yeah, it's still not over. Watkins was in the news two years
- 1:07:12prior after he got a mother arrested trying to allegedly groom her so that he
- 1:07:15could abuse her two year old son. She lost custody, thank god.
- 1:07:20Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, there's a lot of questions that
- 1:07:26come up with this, that come up with these kind of things when they're
- 1:07:29discovered. So if you had to ask one question about this, what would
- 1:07:32it be if they I'm hoping and don't know if this is really question.
- 1:07:41I'm sorry to say to Blue Cheese Olive, I can't smell your breast,
- 1:07:45So it's fine. They said they were still investigating. Yeah, are they
- 1:07:50potentially saving those charges for if he gets paroled. I don't know what this
- 1:07:59is. I don't why not just levy those charges, remove parole. It
- 1:08:10doesn't matter when you hold them, I mean, you don't want them out.
- 1:08:13I don't know. Maybe I'm working with the US to do charges in
- 1:08:16the US. Maybe the FBI or something's involved, because I'm thinking he needs
- 1:08:23to be a prison in the US somewhere because no offense. Guys, he
- 1:08:28would already be dead if he was in a Yeah. So throughout this whole
- 1:08:40thing, all I could think of was, does did anybody know about this?
- 1:08:44Could this have been stopped? He was telling the women, so you
- 1:08:47know, other people knew. So the answer was they did know about it.
- 1:08:54And if you weren't sensed by now, first, what's wrong with you?
- 1:08:57And second, you're about to be From here on, I'm going to
- 1:09:01be using the Vice article Why one of the World's biggest rock stars got away
- 1:09:04with child abuse by Kevin E. G. Perry, published October twenty seventeen.
- 1:09:09To be clear, the band did not know what he was doing.
- 1:09:13Quote. They put out a statement as bands are wont to do, they
- 1:09:17said, many of you understandably want to know if we knew what Ian was
- 1:09:20doing. To be clear, we did not. We are heartbroken, angry,
- 1:09:24and disgusted at what has been revealed. Our hearts go out to Ian's
- 1:09:27family, the fans and friends he betrayed, and most importantly, the victims
- 1:09:30of his crimes and others like them. The band discontinued immediately and stopped making
- 1:09:38music as lost profits. They are music artists, though, and they created
- 1:09:42a new band called No Devotion and pulled in a new singer. In response
- 1:09:45to that, the Bassis Stuart Richardson said, quote, we just wrote music.
- 1:09:49I mean I didn't know if anyone would ever want to hear it.
- 1:09:53I didn't know if anyone would Sorry, I didn't know if anyone would ever
- 1:09:57want to hear it. We didn't know what else to do. I mean,
- 1:10:00you know, nobody should stop them from writing writing music if they legitimately
- 1:10:05had no idea what was going on. And to be honest with the people
- 1:10:09who engage in these kind of acts, even with drugs involved, are usually
- 1:10:12pretty quiet about it from the people who were close to them. So agreed,
- 1:10:16but I can't help but think. I mean, I'm a female,
- 1:10:21so I can say this. We're not good at keeping our mouths shut and
- 1:10:26we like to tell shit. So well had to have told somebody because you
- 1:10:33well, yeah, so here we go. There were there were some that
- 1:10:38went forward, but how many did he proposition that rejected him? And that's
- 1:10:45my thing. You know, if you see something, say something, and
- 1:10:48I know times were a lot different and you were probably like, oh,
- 1:10:51it's just a rock star. He's on drugs. He didn't mean it,
- 1:10:57but you know, some but he had to have known. So yes,
- 1:11:02and we're about to get to that and it's gonna make you very angry.
- 1:11:08Let me take some more drinks. But also the next case, you know,
- 1:11:12the stock the stocking case. By the way, guys, the stocking
- 1:11:15cases we have the night are a lot shorter. This is a very long
- 1:11:18case, but it needed to be told. Yeah, yeah, they're not
- 1:11:23as I mean, they're dark, but they're not like this and uh,
- 1:11:26this, this this was a this was y'all. This was a case that
- 1:11:29that I wrote that ended up being thirty pages h like one and a half
- 1:11:34time space. But the reason why it's so long is because the story needs
- 1:11:39to be told completely in order to do justice to the victims. I'm not
- 1:11:43gonna tell. I'm not gonna half ass a story like this, no matter
- 1:11:46how hard it is to talk about, no matter how much I don't want
- 1:11:48to include some stuff just like this is something that happened to them. You'll
- 1:11:54notice. I also, obviously, other than not having it, I will
- 1:11:57not name them in any way, shape or form, no matter if I
- 1:11:59saw the names are not so yeah, so here it is. We're I'm
- 1:12:04gonna hear a collective what the what the fuck? While his band didn't know
- 1:12:10what he was doing, guess who had a hunch The South Wales Police excuse
- 1:12:20me? Even though yep, even though he was not arrested until December of
- 1:12:26twenty twelve, the police were first given information four years earlier. Quote on
- 1:12:32the twenty ninth of December two thousand and eight, watkins ex girlfriend Joanne,
- 1:12:40Oh this is there are so many consonants together, Joanne. Mead Zelik.
- 1:12:45I'm gonna go with mead Zelik phoned Ronda sign and Half Children's Services to report
- 1:12:50that he had told her that he had given an infant cocaine, as well
- 1:12:54as touching the child in a sexual way. Children's Services passed this information to
- 1:12:58South Wales Police, who began in investigation, but by May of nine they
- 1:13:02decided there was insufficient evidence and no further action was taken. Over the next
- 1:13:06four years, multiple women, including joe Anne, on several occasions, made
- 1:13:12complaints to the police about Watkins drug use, possession of indecent images of children,
- 1:13:15sexual interest in children. All of those complaints were dismissed because the police
- 1:13:21were not doing their jobs. His ex joe Anne tried to gather evidence against
- 1:13:25him to present to them. In twenty fifteen, she stood trial. Manne
- 1:13:32get some more. Okay, why so did they just say dismiss it?
- 1:13:42Oh, because she's a crazy, drama filled woman who's an ex and wants
- 1:13:48to cause harm? Or were they just stupid ef and idiots? I think
- 1:13:56I mentioned it in here. If not, I will so. So the
- 1:14:02police weren't doing the jobs. Joeanne tried to gather evidences against Ian to present
- 1:14:10to the police. In twenty fifteen, she stood trial for possessing and distributing
- 1:14:15the child sex abuse images that she tried to use to trap him. So
- 1:14:20she got in trouble for sharing them to try to get him in trouble.
- 1:14:27Okay, guys, hold on, I'm about to get on Nancy Grace.
- 1:14:30Well, before you get a Nancy Grace, let me just tell you she
- 1:14:33was cleared of any charges and wrongdoing. I don't care. I don't give
- 1:14:39a shit if someone brings you proof, photographic proof, because obviously you don't
- 1:14:47know how to do your damn job, or you don't care enough to do
- 1:14:49your job. You won't believe me. So I have to send you or
- 1:14:54show you proof, and then you want to turn around and file charges and
- 1:14:59try traumatize her for trying to do the right thing and protecting these kids that
- 1:15:06the mothers didn't or weren't capable of. I don't want to be too judgy.
- 1:15:13Did the officers who didn't look into it? Did they get in trouble?
- 1:15:16Please tell me yes. So. At her own trial, Joanne described
- 1:15:32how the police this is a quote, had failed to act on the information
- 1:15:35she provided them with. At one point, she took one of the mothers
- 1:15:39that Watkins was grooming to the police, telling them that the woman was totally
- 1:15:43obsessed with Watkins and her baby will be raped by him, she said.
- 1:15:47A police officer dismissed her claim by saying that she had clearly just been really
- 1:15:51upset by her ex boyfriend. I'm sorry he should be accountable or the same
- 1:16:03thing we have. We have a friend who I'm sure has friends that lives
- 1:16:10in Wales. So pop it, you know, send me a message.
- 1:16:18Hey, if you find that officer's name, it is only one hundred and
- 1:16:24thirty seven dollars to fly from Finland over to London. I can go and
- 1:16:30find some officers and ask them some questions and tell them they think that lady
- 1:16:36was all crazy. They hadn't seen nothing yet. Oh yeah, so Joanne
- 1:16:45first learned of This is the rest of the quote. Joanne first learned of
- 1:16:48Watkins's sexual attraction to children in September of seven, when she had been dating
- 1:16:53him for a round a years. She told the trial that Watkins had described
- 1:16:56raping a twelve year old girl in Los Angeles, and then in the following
- 1:17:00December sent her a photograph of a five year old girl who he described as
- 1:17:02quote super flirty, posing with cocaine. He quote he just said, you
- 1:17:09know what little girls are like, She said in court. My heart sank
- 1:17:13because it made me ill. I was completely confused. I was totally in
- 1:17:16love with the man, yet he sent me this picture. How could I
- 1:17:19be in love with a man that sends that image? Due to her testimony,
- 1:17:24the South Wales Police were the subjects of an independent Police Complaints Commission investigation.
- 1:17:30While the investigation determined there was no evidence to show that police were impacted
- 1:17:34by watkins celebrity and perhaps that's true, it just shows me that it was
- 1:17:40sheer, goddamn incompetence and misogyny. What they did find was quote initial police
- 1:17:45assessment of Joanne's credibility impacted negatively on the police response over a four year period.
- 1:17:53All those involved in responding excepted the initial skeptical view of miss joe Anne's
- 1:17:59reports, demonstrating a lack of open mindedness and professional curiosity. This continued until
- 1:18:05the quote the right type of complaintant came along? Okay, what is the
- 1:18:14right type a man? I don't, I don't, I don't. I
- 1:18:18don't fucking know. The incompetence was literally all over the board. But when
- 1:18:25Joanne reported Watkins and said that she had a text message on her phone that
- 1:18:29Watkins sent her in August of seven saying he wanted to have sex with children,
- 1:18:33the police never looked at her phone. Okay, I'm gonna end with
- 1:18:45a quote from the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children spokesperson,
- 1:18:50This report's stamning conclusion should be a wake up call for all those involved.
- 1:18:55That a simple, unchecked mobile phone could have helped prevent further abuse by Watkins
- 1:19:00is unthinkable and just one cause for significant concern amongst this catalog of basic failures.
- 1:19:05While Watkins is now thankfully behind bars where he belongs, and improvements have
- 1:19:10already been made by South Wales Police, it's clear that very serious mistakes were
- 1:19:15made in handling multiple early allegations and this report's recommendations must be adopted swiftly.
- 1:19:20It is an incredibly difficult step to report child abuse, so it is imperative
- 1:19:27that when people do speak out, they have the utmost. They have the
- 1:19:43ut they have the utmost confidence that what they are reporting will be taken seriously
- 1:19:46and acted upon immediately. In some ways that it is most damning. The
- 1:19:51IPCC investigation found that Ian Watkins was not given special treatment by the police because
- 1:19:58he was a celebrity, that he didn't get away with it for so long
- 1:20:00because he was famous, but because the woman, the women who spoke up
- 1:20:04against him simply weren't believed. Ian is currently housed in HM Prison Wakefield,
- 1:20:13known as the Monster House, where prisoners like Charles Bronson are housed. And
- 1:20:16I say that serves him fucking right. And I think that they should room
- 1:20:20him together with Charles Bronson. And that's the end of that goddamn case.
- 1:20:30I do not feel good. I don't think learning a lesson is the appropriate
- 1:20:43response from them, and I don't think he should ever saved a light of
- 1:20:51day. He's not learning lessons. He's still talking. He's not he's still
- 1:20:58doing it. I didn't think that last quote was gonna catch me, and
- 1:21:04it did. I Yeah, this case made me so angry. Obviously,
- 1:21:17I've never this is briefly gonna make me sound heartless, but like I've never
- 1:21:24actually cried over reading a sentencing document, I've never cried over a case.
- 1:21:30I cried over this one for so many reasons. Won those moms, but
- 1:21:39not first first the kids, but won, but also those moms if they
- 1:21:45did indeed mean ill, well they ki Yeah, I sorry. They put
- 1:21:57their selves and their love of a rock star above their own child. And
- 1:22:06I'm Okay, now I'm gonna get emotional. I personally, I think that's
- 1:22:13worse than what he did. In my opinion, there is not a human
- 1:22:27on this earth. I don't. I'm trying to put myself in any other
- 1:22:32situation. I'm trying to put myself in a situation of needing money. I'm
- 1:22:35trying to put myself in a situation if I'm young and I like but having
- 1:22:41kids that I have are just there. There is not one person, not
- 1:22:47even Tom Holland, that could convince me to do anything to that degree,
- 1:22:57even remotely close to that. There is There is no even there's not a
- 1:23:00person that would even get my children involved in a conversation that I have with
- 1:23:04them. As I said, I, in my opinion, I think the
- 1:23:14bombs are even more horrific because they carried this child, they fet this child,
- 1:23:27they wake up with this child. They're supposed to be the good person
- 1:23:31who takes care of them and protects them. So them blatantly making that decision.
- 1:23:43I am not a proponent of sterilization. Oh but I am a proponent
- 1:23:48of sterilization. Mhm. I So he's for parole in twenty nine, When
- 1:24:00does he officially get out if he's never given parole, So thirty what I
- 1:24:10want to say, I don't math, remember, I definitely don't gas math
- 1:24:15gas math. Okay, Oh wait, hold on, he's actually there's eligibility
- 1:24:25to apply for parole in twenty thirty one. Sorry, I had that wrong,
- 1:24:29followed by six years of quote supervised police whatever. Okay, we're gonna
- 1:24:34trust the police to freaking supervising. The sentencing document was written and put together
- 1:24:43in two tho twenty thirteen. He was given thirty five years. That puts
- 1:24:47it at forty six twenty forty six. He is not going to get parole.
- 1:24:54I don't There's there is no chance, Like I can't see it.
- 1:25:00And if it does happen, I hope that there are marches and streets.
- 1:25:04I really do. He really wasn't that important. But truly, truly,
- 1:25:10this man does not need to see the light of day again. And I'm
- 1:25:15serious he needs he that's a good question. I just looked it up.
- 1:25:20Oh God, don't tell me he does. Twins March twenty sixteen, Two
- 1:25:29Sons Twins twenty six TEENA A surrogate. Okay, so he's he's he's Ah,
- 1:25:46none of this should have been allowed. None of this should have been
- 1:25:49allowed. That's my whole thing. Because he was in jail. He was
- 1:25:55in prison. Is he getting conjugal visits where he can put a donation to
- 1:26:03have it born by a sergeant? I don't know if it was his.
- 1:26:14Okay? And then he came out as gay in twenty two that way,
- 1:26:20Oh my god, Oh my gosh. Yes, he's now in a relationship
- 1:26:30with a guy named Tom and they became fathers to twin sons, Mason and
- 1:26:39Sibby in twenty sixteen. You know, Okay, is this the wrong guy?
- 1:26:46Hold on? Is there two but guys with the same name Ian Watkins.
- 1:26:55Oh, because it says not to be confused with Anne Watkins, the
- 1:26:58Lost Prophet singer. There's two Ian Watkins. I was sitting here about to
- 1:27:04lose my shit, but hold on, so I'm sorry. I the other
- 1:27:15thing, you know, he is still eligible to get royalties from their music.
- 1:27:24Ian is yes, awesome. By the way, the whole twins thing,
- 1:27:30that dude, Ian Watkins is totally fine. There's nothing wrong with Ian
- 1:27:33Watkins. However, it is really funny that Ian Watkins, the other guy
- 1:27:38was born in seventy six, one year before. He is from Wales.
- 1:27:42He's also got a music career in pop. So that's why I was confused
- 1:27:46because it said musician. So see, I wonder if that's why he goes
- 1:27:50by Ian H Watkins. I'm going to just go on the record and say,
- 1:27:58H Watkins, you might want to change your name. It's not hard.
- 1:28:02I did it. It's a little bit of paperwork. Got to post
- 1:28:06some ads in the newspaper and onlines for people to, you know, protests.
- 1:28:11I would suggest you change your name. Do you see a picture of
- 1:28:15him? I did? He as cute, isn't he? It's out looks
- 1:28:25as doorable, looks like Ken. He does kind of look a little like
- 1:28:30Ken. That's true. Now I don't I'm concerned that he is still eligible
- 1:28:34to receive royalties for their music being played or purchased. Shouldn't you lose that
- 1:28:44right? I see? So here's the thing where we're we're talking about in
- 1:28:49the United States where you lose literally fucking everything. I don't know about the
- 1:28:57UK. Let's see. I looked up lost profit sales twenty twenty three and
- 1:29:05the first thing that came up was is anyone still listening to lost profits?
- 1:29:11Oh? Wait? Wait wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on
- 1:29:15what I said, because they shouldn't issue go to a victim fun. Uh
- 1:29:30sorry, I was I was trying to find there was there was there was
- 1:29:36an answer here that I thought I saw, but apparently not. Oh wait
- 1:29:49hm V the retailer. Oh, retailers have been removing their albums, so,
- 1:29:56I mean remove their album a while ago. So I don't you know,
- 1:30:00it's it's it's just it's one of those things where I don't know.
- 1:30:04Oh my god, did you see this. On the morning of August fifth,
- 1:30:11twenty twenty three, what Can was taken hostage by three other inmates a
- 1:30:15HM prison Wakefield. It was finally freed by prison officers six hours later.
- 1:30:23Police later confirmed his injuries from being stabbed were not life threatening. Wow,
- 1:30:30oh that's like what happened to what's his face? The Olympic police officer?
- 1:30:35You know, the well the police officer. But also wasn't the uh was
- 1:30:42it just the police officer? Wasn't the Olympic Jim Taurus? This thing?
- 1:30:48Wasn't he also stabbed or something? I don't know, It doesn't matter.
- 1:30:53That's unfortunately should have done a better job stabbing. They need to work on
- 1:30:57their shank technology, you know, technical things. So, yeah, I
- 1:31:04art breaks for these children. They were absolute innocence. Their mothers led them
- 1:31:15to the lions Den, and this is life long trauma that even as a
- 1:31:25survivor of sexual abuse, I cannot imagine if that trauma was compounded by the
- 1:31:32fact my mother right to do it. So this is kind of what he
- 1:31:41looked like at the height of everything. Yeah, but this is what he
- 1:31:47looked like when he was arrested. Drugs are one hell of a drug.
- 1:31:57I mean, he he should have stayed away from drugs. But I'm also
- 1:32:01a firm believer you don't turn into a vicious paedophile from drugs. It's already
- 1:32:13in you. You're already evil. You are already a despicable person. All
- 1:32:24right, we need we need to do something lighter, like stalking. I
- 1:32:30need to say it that way, because that is not I've kind of got
- 1:32:33my dogs hanging out in my office. Both of the girls are in here,
- 1:32:38having been stocked myself by an ex girlfriend's former boyfriend and subsequently beaten up
- 1:32:46in her apartment because I don't fight. Stalking is not funny or lighter relative
- 1:32:55to this case that I just told though, Yeah, yes, Polly,
- 1:32:59please, he's let others know they can come back. Yes, you give
- 1:33:03thank you a couple of But this is missus Jasmine Rose. She is ten.
- 1:33:14Huh. She looks great for being ten. Holy cow, she is
- 1:33:18the best cuddle bug. When I call in bed every night, all I
- 1:33:23do is pat right there. She comes up and she literally gets right there,
- 1:33:28gets around my arm like this. I roll over and go to sleep,
- 1:33:30and when I flip side, she goes with me. She's perfect.
- 1:33:38She thank you so much for being here. Yes, I appreciate you.
- 1:33:43That brutal he's come in. He's here. Oh my god. Okay,
- 1:33:53now I feel like he came in perfect time because we're over the music stuff
- 1:33:59and we made it. No, it's probably good that eighties didn't. I
- 1:34:02mean, eighties probably knows about Ian Watkins. And if you don't, don't,
- 1:34:06don't google it. She's so adorable I can't believe. Like so stella
- 1:34:13right who who? Well? No correction, my family dog Yuki. Long
- 1:34:17time ago. As she got older around ten, in her a little earlier,
- 1:34:23she actually started getting like darker hair, like darker, darker hair.
- 1:34:28Jasmine looks awesome for ten. Well, and if you look. She has
- 1:34:33angel wings on her back. She has angel wings and when we during the
- 1:34:41summer, when we shave her, that's really prominent. And then she has
- 1:34:45her skid mark is what double H calls it, her skid mark with her
- 1:34:49angel wings. But they are true angel wings. They are white angel wings.
- 1:34:54Amazing, it's perfect. Well, everybody, I wish I had a
- 1:35:08I should have made some kind of funny ass video or something to break the
- 1:35:13to do a halftime routine. I mean, I guess I could. I
- 1:35:17think everybody, if you've ever seen Gray's Anatomy, everybody should stand up where
- 1:35:24they are and do a ten second happy dance. I have lipstick an eyeliner.
- 1:35:30I could do that. Make the last Okay, Yes, I want
- 1:35:32to see you put lipstick on. Lock Daspin, He's gonna put makeup on
- 1:35:39like we watch. We watched Jessa, and we watch Renee, the Menudo
- 1:35:44singer who does make up on TikTok Daniel Renee I think is his name,
- 1:35:49and Jasmine watches make up with me. Yes, dance it out, Amy,
- 1:35:55I'm gonna do that way you do makeup. Let's dance, do a
- 1:36:00little dance, make a little love, get down, tonight, Jasmine's like,
- 1:36:06Mom, you've lost your freaking mind? Are you trying to cut us
- 1:36:16off? Always giving us music to do his lips? Okay, I'm loving
- 1:36:32this. Can I record this? Oh wait, never mind, it's recording.
- 1:36:43Okay? Do I dare ask? Why you have a lipstick in the
- 1:36:46eyeliner on the ready at your station? Ooh, that is a great color.
- 1:37:10I like the color. All right, we might as well just continue
- 1:37:18on. I'll just leave it on. It is a good color. It
- 1:37:20ended up being a good choice. I like that color. I still say,
- 1:37:25you're gonna need to join me for makeup and the headlines one day on
- 1:37:28TikTok. When I do my makeup in the mornings, I will say I've
- 1:37:31gotten some nasty comments and to me and my DMS, I you know,
- 1:37:36you know I took I freaking bought an entire palette of like eyeshadow, and
- 1:37:42Carrie took it. So I take that as a compliment that I picked a
- 1:37:45good one. Cool here, we are cool? Well do we wanna?
- 1:37:51My case is dark? But after what we just went through, I almost
- 1:37:58feel like it's not. I mean, it shows you where you can get
- 1:38:02a numbing effect. After that, my case doesn't seem so bad, and
- 1:38:09I think that is a big indication of the way the world works. But
- 1:38:15I am still a firm believer that the victims need to have their stories told.
- 1:38:21And I also think we all need to learn from the mistakes people made.
- 1:38:29And when I say mistakes, I'm not victim blaming. I'm looking at
- 1:38:32situations that you put yourself into, people you associate yourself with because you didn't
- 1:38:38know the red flags because you didn't learn about them. Okay, doubleh is
- 1:38:45worried about the dogs and wanting to know where they are. So I'm letting
- 1:38:49him know because I don't normally let them in here because when I'm on conference
- 1:38:58calls, I can't have them in here. So but I wanted to just
- 1:39:02say that because I think it's important. And I will tell you I have
- 1:39:10learned so many things that I do and I thought I was very self aware
- 1:39:15when I'm in public and in situations, but once I joined our SERT team,
- 1:39:23I learned I wasn't as well aware as I should be. So I
- 1:39:29do think by covering cases like this, and I will tell you now,
- 1:39:32if a rock star ever talks to me, I'm running the other direction.
- 1:39:39After that, I'm running the other direction as just red flag. So Kelly,
- 1:39:50so am I That's why I've been married three times because I didn't see
- 1:39:57the red flags and I was dumb enough to marry them. Though, hey,
- 1:40:00you've found it worked out in the end, I'm not saying I'm not
- 1:40:04discounting frustration and pain before that. Oh No, I have no regrets because
- 1:40:10if I would not have married loser number one, I would have never had
- 1:40:14my kids because then I wound up getting cancer and having a hysterect To me,
- 1:40:18if I wouldn't have married number two, I would have never moved to
- 1:40:21Dallas, and I would have never met double H. So when they say
- 1:40:30things happen for a reason, they happen for a reason. And I will
- 1:40:34never be ashamed of making those mistakes. So now, and I love that
- 1:40:43everybody's talking about makeup palettes. So why y'all are doing that? Since for
- 1:40:47those of you that don't know, on TikTok, I do makeup in true
- 1:40:50crime headlines and I am adding to my makeup collection and loving to try new
- 1:40:58makeups. So drop them in here and I will write them down and order
- 1:41:02them and try them. I just ordered a bunch of pie louise stuff and
- 1:41:06I'm waiting for it to come in. This is Revlin. That's okay,
- 1:41:14twenty number twenty six. It's called getting serious. Ooh, I like it.
- 1:41:21Is it Matt or does it have any shine to it? I can't
- 1:41:25tell because I'm a shine girl. I would be adding gloss to that.
- 1:41:30Yeah, I would need to add plumping, so that plump is like what
- 1:41:34I do. It's like when I do my nails, I always add a
- 1:41:36Matt top code noll. We not always, it just depends. It depends
- 1:41:43on what it is. Why would your nails be Matt. I love so
- 1:41:50like this one that I have. So it doesn't have a shine, I
- 1:41:53guess is what you're saying. Yeah, it doesn't have like a glossy Yeah,
- 1:41:57it doesn't gloss. But also I really love, like I love like
- 1:42:00a matte blue or a Matte even a Matte red or black is really awesome.
- 1:42:04So yeah, I'm all about the glita. I got to have the
- 1:42:09Glita on here. So so, guys, my case is a short case
- 1:42:17and it is in Texas, and I chose this case because it's the same
- 1:42:24last name as your case. That's trying if you notice an acid too,
- 1:42:30and it was an act, but I I was going to change. When
- 1:42:32I saw it, I was like, oh my god, did we pick
- 1:42:34the same case? And I had to go look. I'm like, okay,
- 1:42:38no we didn't because I was really worried. So buckle up. It's
- 1:42:45not horrible. But before I get into this, I want to first say,
- 1:42:49and I know this group, you guys won't, but I want to
- 1:42:55put this out there for anybody who's watching on Facebook instead of YouTube, do
- 1:43:00not drop comments to me shaming this victim for her career choices, because I
- 1:43:08will not accept that. And if I see it, you will get blocked.
- 1:43:13And if you set up a new one, I'll block you because no
- 1:43:15one deserves to be murdered. Okay, And I'm just throwing that out there.
- 1:43:23Abigail Saldana was a stunning twenty two year old Texas woman who is the
- 1:43:27mom of I'll tell you, guys, absolutely adorable five year old son.
- 1:43:31She worked as a brow artist and an exotic dancer to be able to make
- 1:43:36ends meet and to be able to support her son. Okay, and before
- 1:43:43we get into this, I decided to do some deep diving, and guys,
- 1:43:49I went down a rabbit hole. I don't know a lot about the
- 1:43:54exotic dancer industry. I do know back in my younger days I trained dancers
- 1:44:01to dance, but I didn't know anything about how it worked so or what
- 1:44:10they go through. So it has estimated forty to seventy five percent of exotic
- 1:44:15dancers suffered sexual abuse during their childhood and that they feel that by dancing they
- 1:44:21are reclaiming their bodies. I struggle with that because we need to do better
- 1:44:31with mental health and with trauma, and the majority of exotic dancers get into
- 1:44:36the business for financial reasons. They are able to make enough money to support
- 1:44:43their children as a single mom, and they can work while their child's sleeping
- 1:44:50and still be there and be attentive for their kid. Now. I also
- 1:44:56decided to look how much you know it was made and how clubs work and
- 1:45:02guys. I went down a rabbit hole for sure on this one, because
- 1:45:05I was like, how do the clubs make money? Right? Because the
- 1:45:12girls keep right well. They charge a cover charge, they also sell very
- 1:45:19high priced drinks, and they charge the dancers a stage fee or a house
- 1:45:26fee, which can be a set fee or percentage of the tips that they
- 1:45:30make a night, and guys they have to tip out the bartenders, the
- 1:45:39bouncers, and the DJs, so the money they make they have to share.
- 1:45:46So it's like waiters, waitresses and the bus boys or bus people.
- 1:45:58Yeah, you're charging a cover charge and you're selling high priced drinks. Shouldn't
- 1:46:02you be paying them people out of your pockets, not your entertainers. So
- 1:46:11now some of the more established clubs do not have their dancers tip out since
- 1:46:16they charge them a stage fee. They're like, if we're gonna charge you
- 1:46:19the stage fee, you know they're gonna pay for those. But I also
- 1:46:26found it interesting. If you order a drink and you're a customer and you've
- 1:46:33got a dancer sitting with you, your drink price is more because she gets
- 1:46:40a cut of the drink. So if it's normally five dollars, they'll charge
- 1:46:45seven and they will hand her two dollars when you get the drink. And
- 1:46:50then some the dancers aren't allowed to drink if the customers buy it, but
- 1:46:56they can order it, so they can order a martini but it comes out
- 1:47:00and it's non alcoholic, but they pocket half of the money that the drink
- 1:47:08cost and they charge that customer full price. Here's what I really dislike about.
- 1:47:16You know, I really should be more drunk with this, but I've
- 1:47:19drank the whole bottle. That case that I said was really sobering. What
- 1:47:30what pisses me off is that I'm just in this mode right now because I'm
- 1:47:34having to pay for a whole HVAC system and we're like constantly in debt,
- 1:47:39et cetera. And I know I'm not the only one. I'm not special.
- 1:47:43But what's drives me crazy is that it's like situation where they need to
- 1:47:47stay there, do you know what I mean? Like how dare they make
- 1:47:55all the tips? And we don't get any even if we say that it's
- 1:47:59in the way of paying something else. So like I get like, like
- 1:48:04in any any like antique show or like flea market, you pay for your
- 1:48:11spot, right, I get that, Like you pay for your tables.
- 1:48:16Yeah, I paid for my booth. Yeah. Anything past that. It's
- 1:48:24just ridiculous, just in just insane. You know what I'm pretty sure of.
- 1:48:30I bet they would pay me to get off the statee. And I
- 1:48:36will be honest. When I was doing this research, I saw that there
- 1:48:41is one of these establishments in Austin that has amateur night and you can strip
- 1:48:48down to a bikini. You don't have to take it all off, and
- 1:48:51you get to keep whatever you make. I was like, I pay you.
- 1:48:55They would pay me a lot of money to get me off the stage.
- 1:48:59I am, in, do they like a side of chest hair with
- 1:49:04their bikinis? Because boom in in. I've like if they wanted me to
- 1:49:11take my clothes off. I got stretch marks. And for those that don't,
- 1:49:15you know, had breast cancer, so I had misectomy and reconstructive surgery.
- 1:49:20I'm just gonna tell you there there's a lot of scars there and they're
- 1:49:25not pretty ready. You're human, You've been through some shit. You're human,
- 1:49:32I am. But I ahh likes them. He said. Every one
- 1:49:38of those scars is very special. But I'm just gonna say, the general
- 1:49:42public would pay me to get off. But I do want to point out
- 1:49:45it is illegal in every state except one for prostitution, for dancers to get
- 1:49:53paid for sex with their customers. Do you know which state it's legal?
- 1:49:59You tah Nevada where the bunny ranch and stuff is. Oh yeah, Nevada.
- 1:50:14Okay, all right, all right, back where the Kardashian's husband,
- 1:50:18like, oh deed at the Bunny ranch and almost died the basketball player guy,
- 1:50:26I don't remember. Oh anyway, I don't know anything past like the
- 1:50:30initial like names. I know nothing about. I do want to ask this
- 1:50:33as as you're telling your story. I want I want people to post in
- 1:50:38the chat. And there's only so many of you. But but what would
- 1:50:42Terry and my uh sex worker name be or I guess stripper name B?
- 1:50:46What? What? What would they be? You all put that in the
- 1:50:49chat? That's what I want. I don't know, Okay, I that
- 1:50:56will be funny. Uh now it is illegal, but I did find this
- 1:51:01interesting. Detroit in Houston, my hometown, are the two top cities that
- 1:51:09have rampant occurrences of prostitution linked to strip clubs where some of the strip club
- 1:51:15owners and managers take a cut of what they get paid for sex. That
- 1:51:24it's called organized pimping. It is, I'm like, and the fact that
- 1:51:30I could find so many articles about it. But here's where it gets scary.
- 1:51:34Seventy nine percent of dancers report being stalked by customers. Sixty one percent
- 1:51:42say they have been physically assaulted by customers. That's disgusting. Okay, so
- 1:51:50I'm going to address this one. So, yes, I don't know what
- 1:51:59which one they should down in Beaumont. My cousin and I will try to
- 1:52:04say this without crying. Christy who was murdered. We covered her in an
- 1:52:10episode. Her ex worked at one of the establishments in Beaumont and that's where
- 1:52:19he met his new girlfriend. And they murdered my cousin and they didn't get
- 1:52:31closed down, and the manager knew that the guy was sketchy. It's just
- 1:52:42a whole thing. Yeah, that just sent me down a whole different path
- 1:52:47in my head. Sorry. Yeah, but I also want to say not
- 1:52:56every strip club is. I have been to many of them. JT.
- 1:53:03I think you've said you've never been in one. I have been to many
- 1:53:06of them. I have a he was a really good friend and he was
- 1:53:14gay, but he left boobs. We would go have lunch at the strip
- 1:53:16club and just hang out because he liked it. And I will tell you
- 1:53:21I met some really nice girls and they're not bad people. But I think
- 1:53:29the fact that seventy nine percent say they've been stalked by customers is a problem.
- 1:53:39Yeah, that's that's that's the I and then sixty one were physically assaulted.
- 1:53:49And while reading these stats, fifty percent of those well, why they
- 1:53:54were in the club where they were dancing, not in the parking lot,
- 1:54:00not when they left, in the establishment. And that tells me, Yeah,
- 1:54:12if you're if you're, if you're gonna run an establishment like that,
- 1:54:15you better sure as hell have some way of protecting your employees, because that's
- 1:54:23what they are. I don't care if you call it. You know what
- 1:54:26these these they say that the bouncers walk the girls or the dancers out to
- 1:54:33the car to make sure they make it safe. My question is, what
- 1:54:40about inside the damn club? Yep, yep, that's oh so that I
- 1:54:54found excessively disturbing. Now, I'm going to tell you a funny story real
- 1:55:01quick before we get into the case. About a time I went to a
- 1:55:04strip club and it was a Friday night and it was a nice one.
- 1:55:11It was very posh. We were in the VIP section, which I never
- 1:55:15knew they had a VIP section, but they do. A bachelorette party came
- 1:55:19in to the strip club to have her bachelorette party. The bachelor party showed
- 1:55:30up to the same strip club. Beyonces are in the same strip club,
- 1:55:39and I will tell you I was worried. I was like, oh my
- 1:55:43god, somebody's going to come to blows. They joined together and we sat
- 1:55:47and watched them for like an hour hang out and have fun. And then
- 1:55:51they split up and went their own ways. But I was like, that
- 1:55:56marriage has a damn good chance of making it. Sure does, Sure as
- 1:56:01hell does. Thankfully done. That's so fun. So now we're gonna go
- 1:56:09into more talk about Abigail. She lived in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
- 1:56:14She did work part time as a dancer at Rick's Cabaret. I couldn't find
- 1:56:18exactly how long she worked there, but for several years she did. In
- 1:56:26early October of twenty twenty one, Abigail posted to her Instagram account about finding
- 1:56:32a tracking device under her car and that she was very freaked out about it.
- 1:56:40Yeah, I would be too freaked out. She told the club management
- 1:56:46about it and told him that she was being harassed and stalked by a customer
- 1:56:50of the club. Guys. I couldn't find that she ever reported this to
- 1:56:55the police. And I'm going to just say, and I feel come wile
- 1:57:00saying this because I live in Texas, she prayed. Didn't feel comfortable reporting
- 1:57:03it to the police. I can just see them say, ah, well,
- 1:57:08look at your career choices. Just my thought, but that's what you
- 1:57:15sweat. I'm going to go out on a lemon. Say so, guys.
- 1:57:18Two weeks later, October twenty sixth, around eight thirty pm, nine
- 1:57:23one one received a call regarding a terrible car wreck. A car went off
- 1:57:29the road and crashed. It was a silver Hondaia and there was bullet holes
- 1:57:34in the door and the driver was unresponsive in the car, so somebody shot
- 1:57:42her as she was trying to get onto the freeway. Police arrived at the
- 1:57:46scene and they found the deceased, twenty year old Abigail Saldana. They found
- 1:57:51her passport an ID in the car. She had been shot three times.
- 1:57:57When they were looking in her car, they found what the articles. It
- 1:58:02infuriated me, They said her stripper clothes. I fought clothes at a stripper
- 1:58:10store to wear out in public, so I don't think you should call them
- 1:58:13stripper clothes. But anyway, she had her exotic dancer costume and the car
- 1:58:19was right down from Rix Cabaret. You could see Rix from where her car
- 1:58:24was. So they saw this and they were like, oh, let's go
- 1:58:29check and see if she's an employee there. Sure enough, she was an
- 1:58:32employee of Ricks. However, she was not working that day. She had
- 1:58:36not been to the club that day. She was out doing her normal stuff.
- 1:58:42Now, her mom talked to her around six six thirty that night,
- 1:58:45and she was out running errands and had things to do. But kudos to
- 1:58:51the management. They told the officers immediately, Hey, she just posted this
- 1:58:59to her insta. Let me show you. This was just two weeks ago.
- 1:59:01Somebody was tracking her. She was being harassed and stalked by a customer
- 1:59:09who we call him Stan, and we know he's a veteran, and that
- 1:59:14he had been bothering Abigail for some time, and that they suspected he was
- 1:59:19the guy who put the tracking device on her car, which gave the police
- 1:59:24the ability to very quickly find out who he was. I am not going
- 1:59:30to allow him to get any more infamy because I'm not going to share his
- 1:59:35full name. We're just going to say he is Stan the creeper. So
- 1:59:43now, during the police's research, they found his social media accounts and they
- 1:59:47were disturbed by posts he made back in twenty twenty one, where he said
- 1:59:53that Abby instead of Abigail, was his girlfriend, but that he was disappointed
- 1:59:58that she was a prostitu. He even took screenshots of her post and reposted
- 2:00:05them, adding his own personal comments. So, guys, he was stalking
- 2:00:12and bothering her for over a year, Okay, Yeah, I mean,
- 2:00:18and what makes me sad she did not feel comfortable going to the police and
- 2:00:26telling them maybe, And I don't shame her, I shame the police for
- 2:00:31being judgment a little pricks. I mean, look at what the cops are
- 2:00:35doing with the Chase Lackey case. They're like, oh, he got involved
- 2:00:39in pot for six months, We're not going to go look for it.
- 2:00:42You know, they judge people love it and they shouldn't. I love it
- 2:00:45when people's religious values determine whether or not they actually do their goddamn jobs.
- 2:00:54Yeah. I'm starting to feel like police officers are like weatherman. They cannot
- 2:01:00get their job right fifty percent of the time and still keep it. And
- 2:01:05weathermen have a good reason for that, because it's a prediction. Right.
- 2:01:11I am, I am. I'm a firm believer that unions are important.
- 2:01:16I think they need to update some of the things they fight for. In
- 2:01:21the case of police, I think unions are important, but I also think
- 2:01:26that this whole blue line hold the It just needs to fucking end. If
- 2:01:30your people did something wrong, you get rid of them so they don't make
- 2:01:34you look bad. That's how that works. You own it, and you
- 2:01:39learn from it, and you do better. You know, you do better
- 2:01:45now. They also found he had a fake Insta account, and on this
- 2:01:49fake Insta he had posted pictures that he said were screenshots of their text exchanges
- 2:01:56and bank records that showed he was wiring her money. Guys, the funny
- 2:02:01thing was what he posted. The person's name that he was wiring money to
- 2:02:09was not Abigail. And guys, we know banking laws have changed a lot.
- 2:02:14You can't lie on your bank account if they wire Terry, like,
- 2:02:18I can't ask somebody to wire Terry true crime money to my bank account.
- 2:02:24It's going to show my real name. It was not her account, but
- 2:02:28he posted them saying that he was paying her for sex. But yet he
- 2:02:33also said it was his girlfriend. So was she your girlfriend or were you
- 2:02:39paying her? Dude? You know so? But also he was paying other
- 2:02:47women that he met at different clubs in the area for companionship. He didn't
- 2:02:54say sex, but he did like to sit there for hours and just talk
- 2:02:59to them, so he was lonely. I'm not saying the guy didn't have
- 2:03:03some PTSD. He was a war veteran. He saw action. But guys,
- 2:03:09guess what, that is not an excuse for being a horrible person.
- 2:03:12It's just not because you have the responsibility to go get help. My two
- 2:03:19cents. Come at me if you want. But she was worried about being
- 2:03:26followed. She even took a picture of a car and its license plate that
- 2:03:30was following her and sent it to a friend a couple weeks before that.
- 2:03:34Hey, just in case I don't make it home. Guys, that's how
- 2:03:39worried she was. In doing the research on this, it made me realize,
- 2:03:45I don't pay attention to who's following me. I don't look at the
- 2:03:50cars that are behind me, do you. I don't look to see if
- 2:03:57they follow me and make every turn. I am now, but I wouldn't
- 2:04:03have. I would have thought they were going the same place. The entirety
- 2:04:10of like like every now and again, I'll be able to like in my
- 2:04:15review, I'll see if somebody's making multiple turns that I'm making. But like,
- 2:04:21throughout this entire like theme and what you're saying, and you know what
- 2:04:26I've read, I realized just how privileged I am being a dude because I
- 2:04:36think about other people who have to think about this stuff. Oh and I
- 2:04:41might walk down interrupt. You do not feel privileged because I have known men
- 2:04:50who've been killed by crazy girlfriends, crazies that are obsessed because they saw you.
- 2:05:00It happens. I think your privileged that it happens less often. Yeah,
- 2:05:08I mean, like you know, when if I'm out walking down like
- 2:05:13let me just give you a random like Kerry Street, I'm not constantly looking
- 2:05:18over my shoulder to see if somebody's following me. I'm not concerned that that's
- 2:05:24gonna happen. Am I concerned that somebody might try and assault and or rob
- 2:05:29me? Maybe? But nothing else? So there's will I do get concern
- 2:05:38for safety, It's a very different I feel like it's a different kind of
- 2:05:41concern, Yeah, Because I mean, when I'm out walking, I'm paying
- 2:05:45attention. I only put one AirPod in and I keep it low so I
- 2:05:50can hear, but I can hear if somebody is behind me. I'm very
- 2:05:54observant about that. I'm just not when I drive. And that's what I
- 2:05:59realized. I am in public everywhere I go in my house, I wasn't
- 2:06:04in my car, and that surprised me. Again, I was like,
- 2:06:10you idiot, you know better. And then researching this case, I was
- 2:06:15like another reason to pay attention. And I've made a conscious decision to be
- 2:06:23more aware. And I even have a little post it to remind me when
- 2:06:26I'm in the car to notice the cars around me in case I forget because
- 2:06:30I have add But it surprised me. But like I said, she was
- 2:06:35worried, so she sent this to someone. Now the police were able to
- 2:06:43run that license plate. The vehicle was owned by stand and they looked at
- 2:06:50TV cameras or I get what do we call them, CCTV. They looked
- 2:06:55at breen cameras. He had driven by her house several days and several times
- 2:07:00leading up to her murder. Then they decided let's find out if he was
- 2:07:08in the area when she was shot, and he was no surprise. So
- 2:07:17with that information, the police called him up on the phone, which I
- 2:07:20found interesting. I'm like, he didn't just go to his house. They
- 2:07:24called him up and asked him to come in, and he said okay,
- 2:07:29But fifteen minutes before he was due to be there, he called and said,
- 2:07:32sorry, there's a death in the family. Can't come in. Got
- 2:07:35a lot going on, and police did their job. They got a search
- 2:07:41warrant and they went to his house. He refused to open the door,
- 2:07:45so they brought in swat and they took the door down. So I am
- 2:07:50giving them credit. They should have made it where she was more comfortable coming
- 2:07:58to them and telling them. They shouldn't have had to be reactive, but
- 2:08:03they got in. Now, he had suffered a couple of self inflicted wounds
- 2:08:07on his neck. Guys, I don't know what this guy was doing.
- 2:08:13He obviously I don't know. If he was just scratching, I wouldn't have
- 2:08:18called them self inflicted wounds. He was not trying to kill himself. They
- 2:08:22literally look like scratches. But he was taken to the hospital for treatment and
- 2:08:26he was charged with the murder of Abigail. Now, when they were looking
- 2:08:33into this, they found kind of what they think was the trigger because he
- 2:08:39was spending time with multiple women. But Abigail was the first one that was
- 2:08:43nice to him, and if those texts are really from her, she would
- 2:08:52spend time with him and give him the girlfriend experience without sex. And then
- 2:09:00he showed some that were for some for sex, and he thought they had
- 2:09:05a future and they were going to live happily ever after. Okay, my
- 2:09:09first thought is I knew this as a teenager. You know the girls in
- 2:09:15topless bars lie right, they all say they're in college, right, They
- 2:09:22are there as entertainers. Their job is to tell you what you want to
- 2:09:28hear so that you will spend your money, right, So I found that
- 2:09:33interesting. But that's what made him upset is he realized, Oh, she
- 2:09:41doesn't really like me, She's just using me for money. And they think
- 2:09:46that's what triggered him. Now. He posted to his socials a couple of
- 2:09:52hours before he killed her, blasting her, and then a couple of hours
- 2:10:00after he murdered her saying that he had paid her for sex, and apparently
- 2:10:05he had been blackmailing her and telling her he was going to turn her in
- 2:10:07for prostitution and say she was a prostitute and she would lose her son.
- 2:10:15So he was blackmailing her up until this time, and it seems like she
- 2:10:20wasn't buying into it, you know. So he is still awaiting trial,
- 2:10:26and Abigail's family and her mom, bless her heart, she was like,
- 2:10:31we're going to be in court every day. I don't care if I lose
- 2:10:35my job. I Am going to sit there and stare him down every day
- 2:10:39and let him know we are the people she truly cared about, and do
- 2:10:46it because she left behind a five year old son whose father is not in
- 2:10:52the picture. She worked full time doing brows and didn't make enough, and
- 2:11:00she worked two days a week dancing to help pay the bills. So this
- 2:11:09case makes me sad. But I really want people to stop and think.
- 2:11:16If we would pay people better, they wouldn't have to step out and pick
- 2:11:24up that second job. I don't care if that second job is at McDonald's,
- 2:11:28I don't care if it's sweeping the parking lot dancing. If you pay
- 2:11:35them a fair wage for the job they perform, they would not have to
- 2:11:41get a second job. You know, between twenty twenty two and twenty twenty
- 2:11:48three. I have this right off the top of my head, just because
- 2:11:50I was looking at it the other day. The cost of quote unquo quote
- 2:12:00living comfortably went up twenty two percent? Did anything else go up twenty two
- 2:12:09percent? Certainly not salary nop. So like, yeah, I'm not gonna
- 2:12:16get on a soapbox about that. But and I mean, when I left
- 2:12:22Loser number one, I had two boys. He made good money, but
- 2:12:28I wasn't getting child sport. I worked three jobs my kids. I had
- 2:12:35them at a twenty four hour daycare because I was working at night after school
- 2:12:41while they were in school. I was a recruiter by day and then working
- 2:12:46retail other jobs, and I had to put them in daycare. I saw
- 2:12:52them like two hours a day, but I had to do it to keep
- 2:12:54a roof over our head and it was a one bedroom apartment to do.
- 2:13:03And I should have made enough in my day job to not have to do
- 2:13:07that. And my ex husband should have paid his damn child support also agreed,
- 2:13:18because he was making something like thirty five dollars an hour back in the
- 2:13:22nineties. Damn good money is a polymar guy exactly, it's a polymer scientist,
- 2:13:30but made damn good money didn't pay. He did not start paying child
- 2:13:35support until my youngest son was seventeen and we got divorced from my youngest son
- 2:13:43was one. Yeah, so that's not gonna get on my soapbox, but
- 2:13:54that is so. That is why so many single moms turned to that.
- 2:14:00And I think if there was a movie with Demi Moore, I don't remember
- 2:14:05the name of it, but she was stripping and she would bring her daughter
- 2:14:09and her daughter would sit back in the dressing room strip tease. But you
- 2:14:18have to. And I think the sad thing is the men like Stan who
- 2:14:24can't get dates. They're awkward. Excuse me, they have mental issues.
- 2:14:30They go there and they don't realize they're paying for a service. That service
- 2:14:35is for me to dance for you and to talk to you. It is
- 2:14:41not to go home with you. It is not to do any of that.
- 2:14:46But if I can see them a single mom, I think if I
- 2:14:50would have gotten into that, if they'd have been like, hey, you
- 2:14:52can't pay your rent. If you go to dinner with me, I'll give
- 2:14:56you fifteen hundred dollars, And then they would say, oh, and if
- 2:15:00will do you know, give me a blowjob, I'll give you an extra
- 2:15:03one thousand guys That would have paid my rent for two months. And I
- 2:15:09have to say. I would like to say I would have been strong enough
- 2:15:11to say no. But if I was close to being evicted or had a
- 2:15:16child with health issues, I don't know if I would have said no,
- 2:15:22because I would have done what was best for my kid. Oh Polly,
- 2:15:33she said this. So in Texas, you still have to pay. I
- 2:15:37got child support. He had to pay me all of the arrearages plus tax,
- 2:15:43and he didn't realize that. So when he would go to file his
- 2:15:46tax returns and he was supposed to get six thousand dollars back, it all
- 2:15:50came to me once he started. He didn't file tax returns for years because
- 2:15:56of that reason, and he got remarried and he filed a tax return and
- 2:16:03I got something like twenty thousand in one hit. So he paid until the
- 2:16:11youngest was twenty six or twenty seven. So they do it so in Texas
- 2:16:16now I could have gone to court and send him to jail. He wasn't
- 2:16:20seeing the kids. And I finally moved up in my career as a recruiter
- 2:16:28and started making money and could only work one job and life became good,
- 2:16:31so I didn't need to. But that's my case, Like I said,
- 2:16:37it wasn't that dark. The thing that I'm sad about there was very little
- 2:16:45coverage of this case, very little coverage, and I think it's because she
- 2:16:52was a stripper, exotic dance or whatever you want to call it. Ris
- 2:16:56in Texas is one of the mid level to higher end establishments. They're not
- 2:17:05like baby dolls or something like that that's lower end. So I think that's
- 2:17:11why I got some coverage. I think if she worked in one of the
- 2:17:16seedier places, I don't think there would have been any coverage. No,
- 2:17:26it's lipstick. That is funny. So to this comment, when I started
- 2:17:37getting those payments and my kids were adults, I split it three ways between
- 2:17:43each one of my sons and myself. And my husband was like, why
- 2:17:48are you doing that. You paid all the bills, you paid for the
- 2:17:50breezes, you paid for this, and I said, because I don't need
- 2:17:54it, and they're struggling. Jeff was in college at the time. Austin
- 2:18:00was like, he's got a new baby. I shared it with them.
- 2:18:07You know. The we would think, with how prevalent these kind of situations
- 2:18:22are, that they would increase or improve policy on payments and all that kind
- 2:18:26of stuff. But then I think about this is that we live in a
- 2:18:31theocracy that's hidden behind a mask of democracy, and the reason why nobody's improving
- 2:18:37the policies is because they want you to stay married because divorce is bad,
- 2:18:43which then just creates a very dangerous environment for the woman. But they don't
- 2:18:50seem to be too cared. They don't seem to care too much about that
- 2:18:54about women anyways and their health. As we've seen, he made evidence in
- 2:19:00the past year. Oh don't so. I guess the mask is coming off.
- 2:19:07They're forcing women to have children in Texas And there's a case right now
- 2:19:16because I covered it on my TikTok. She did the right legal thing,
- 2:19:20went to the courts to ask for permission to sanction an abortion because the child
- 2:19:26is not going to live. If it survives not being stillborn, it's going
- 2:19:31to die within hours, and there's a chance that the mother could have to
- 2:19:37have a hysterectomy and not be able to have any other kids. And the
- 2:19:41court said no. She left the state to go somewhere else. Then our
- 2:19:46fabulous Ken Paxton and Greg Abbott reminded people that we now pay a bounty if
- 2:19:54you turn in your friend or someone you know that gets an abortion out of
- 2:20:01state, you can get ten thousand dollars. But yet, you know,
- 2:20:07we don't take care of single moms. We don't make sure they get their
- 2:20:09child support. Oh yeah, let's just you know before before Ken Paxton,
- 2:20:22I just you know it just and I've cried. I don't even know this
- 2:20:33woman, and I have cried because she wants to have a child and the
- 2:20:41child has trisotomy or something like that. And she literally tried to do the
- 2:20:48right thing because her doctor said, you realize if I do this, I
- 2:20:54could go to jail. I could be given a felony to save your life.
- 2:21:01And what they said is it wasn't life threatening just because you could lose
- 2:21:09your uterus to not have any more kids, it's not life threatening. But
- 2:21:16yet you're forcing her to have a child that, even if it's born alive,
- 2:21:22isn't going to last more than two hours. So you want this baby
- 2:21:24to suffer, and you want this woman to suffer. So it looks like
- 2:21:33there's not going to be a charge now. But up where my family lives,
- 2:21:41there was a woman who ended up having a still birth at home while
- 2:21:58they arrested for murder. I arrested her from they accused to plunge her home
- 2:22:05toilet after a miscarriage, and they charged her. It looks like charges aren't
- 2:22:11going through, but they they like took the toilet from her home for evidence.
- 2:22:26I texted my parents and I said, what's going on up there?
- 2:22:37Oh captain, you know I'm going to move on to a different topic.
- 2:22:41You're correct, You're correct. We are pro birth. We are not pro
- 2:22:48life. We don't believe in life. We believe in you got to have
- 2:22:52them babies. But that's where it stops because we don't have any other programs
- 2:22:58to support, and we sure think that as men, we have the ability
- 2:23:05to tell you what is good for you. So now I'm not saying I
- 2:23:11know a person loosely acquaintance who's had eight miscara or eight abortions. And when
- 2:23:18she told me that one night, having drinks, meybe and me, I
- 2:23:22said, you know, there is such a thing as birth control, right
- 2:23:26because abortion is not birth control. I don't believe it's birth control. But
- 2:23:31I think those cases are probably less than you know, the flips that the
- 2:23:41fact that we're forcing people to have children, they can't afford them, they
- 2:23:48can't raise them. We don't want to buy any you know, god awful
- 2:23:54thing. We don't want to help them because then we become a welfare state
- 2:24:01and that's social They will not pay to tie their tubes either. So if
- 2:24:07I was to go to them and say, I've got four kids, I'm
- 2:24:11fertile, myrtle, I can't take birth control because of this issue. Can
- 2:24:16I get my tubes ticked? Only if you pay cash out of your pocket.
- 2:24:22Ever since the beginning of at least the nineteen hundreds, we know that
- 2:24:28the the best protection, the best birth control is abstinence. That is the
- 2:24:39only way. But you're married. There is no other way. But when
- 2:24:41you're married, do you think your husband's going to let you get away with
- 2:24:45abstinence? Come on, now, they want you to be barefoot and pregnant
- 2:24:50and do what your husband says. So why do you need to have one?
- 2:24:54So obviously you were doing something wrong. It's just this is I have
- 2:25:05always hated the gender that I identify with. I have never hated it.
- 2:25:11And I'm not saying everybody. Obviously it's not a blanket statement. But let's
- 2:25:16be honest. The majority of people who are in power are old white men
- 2:25:20and I am so tired of out of touch people being in charge. I'm
- 2:25:30so tired of them sitting at a hearing having to hear about how the internet
- 2:25:35works before they even get to the point of the matter because they don't understand
- 2:25:39because they've been in office since before several rights. Like, I'm just tired
- 2:25:43of it. I'm over it. So and here's a sad thing that at
- 2:25:50the time, when I was sixteen, I didn't think anything about it.
- 2:25:54My tubes ruptured. When I was sixteen, I had not started my monthly
- 2:25:58cycle and passed out at my brother's wife's baby shower. Woke up at the
- 2:26:07hospital and they were like, your tube's ruptured. But before that, they
- 2:26:13told my family that I had a tuble pregnancy. Mind you, my little
- 2:26:18boyfriend's there. He's pissed because he's like, oh, wait a minute,
- 2:26:22who's she doing this with because we hadn't done it and it wasn't for like
- 2:26:26six hours, you know, get all that, and then it was a
- 2:26:30tuble pregnance. I mean it was ruptured tubes. So they said, you
- 2:26:33need to go on birth control pills. Oh God, for's sake, no
- 2:26:37that can happen. Insurance wouldn't they were like, we're not putting a sixteen
- 2:26:43year old on birth control. We're not doing that. You're gonna have to
- 2:26:46pay for it out of your pocket, or you're gonna have to take her
- 2:26:48to planned parenthood. And I will never forget. I looked at my mom
- 2:26:52and I'm like, I'm not even having sex. Why do I got to
- 2:26:56take the pills? She's like, because your body needs the hormones. You
- 2:26:58know, now we know that was the first early sign that I was gonna
- 2:27:03have cancer. You know, they didn't know that back then. I didn't
- 2:27:09want to take them, but they were like, oh, if we give
- 2:27:13her that, she's gonna feel like she can go and sleep with everybody.
- 2:27:20And I didn't realize back then that it was old white men, right Terry.
- 2:27:26Terry's post makes me angry. Wait, what you have to get a
- 2:27:33proof from your husband? What's the the other thing that really pisses me off?
- 2:27:45And I'm not trying to like give anybody's information away, but some people
- 2:27:50take birth control because you know, their monthly cycle is so intense and so
- 2:27:56horrible that it down whatever that means. But like, and it's more like
- 2:28:07healthcare than anything, right, It's like you're either terribly miserable and it's horrifying,
- 2:28:16or you're terrifyingly miserable but it's less horrifying, do you know what I
- 2:28:20mean? Like, so, it's like, these folks want this black and
- 2:28:24white bullshit and it's not. The world is not black and white. It
- 2:28:30might have been when you were sixteen, but it's just it never was.
- 2:28:37It never was. And in oh man, I'm not just gonna tell you
- 2:28:43anybody ever would have so with my youngest because I had had several miscarriages and
- 2:28:52we lost a daughter, they thought he was going to have a heart defect
- 2:29:00and they were like, it looks severe, so we're going to do a
- 2:29:03fetal echo cardiogram, and you need to do an amniosynthesis because he may not
- 2:29:09make it. And I have to tell you, if somebody would have told
- 2:29:15me I needed my husband's permission to make a decision on what I was gonna
- 2:29:22do, I would probably be in prison right now, because besides the fact
- 2:29:26the hormones were flowing, I would have lost my shit on the person who
- 2:29:33told me that, because he wasn't the fucking one carrying the kid. I
- 2:29:41was, and I wanted the child so bad I wanted four kids, and
- 2:29:50I would have killed the person if a doctor would have walked up and told
- 2:29:52me, oh, well, we need to get your husband's permission. I
- 2:29:56mean I had made the decision. I was going to have him no matter
- 2:30:00or what the test said, unless he was going to be in physical pain.
- 2:30:05But I'm telling you, as feisty as I was and as young as
- 2:30:09I was, I would have killed that doctor. I would have been an
- 2:30:15accessory because I would have handed you whatever implement you wanted at the time.
- 2:30:20Though, So that's my case. I mean in it when I say Texas
- 2:30:24is on crack. Texas is on crack, and we need some of these
- 2:30:30old white guys to die and some more people to get into office. But
- 2:30:35on the other hand, who wants to go be in politics when the world
- 2:30:39is such a screwed up place and be the minority to try to do the
- 2:30:43right thing? You know? Yeah, I think back. I mean that
- 2:30:46when I met double H I was in the middle of talking and working on
- 2:30:52setting up a pack to run for mayor, and I told the person that
- 2:31:01was going to be my campaign manager that he was going to move in with
- 2:31:05me. And when he looked at me and he goes he can't. He
- 2:31:09can't live with you unless y'all are married. And I looked a him and
- 2:31:13said, well, I'm never getting married again. I've been there, done
- 2:31:16that twice. I ain't doing that. And he was like, well,
- 2:31:18then you can't run for office, and I said peace out, and he
- 2:31:22moved in. And I think back now and almost wish I would have said
- 2:31:28screw you and ran anyway and let the public tell me I couldn't sleep with
- 2:31:33my hot boyfriend and have him live with me after being in two abusive marriages.
- 2:31:43But I'm glad I didn't because I would have went to prison so many
- 2:31:46times. We have a the the folks that aren't in power would like to
- 2:31:58tell you, like you to believe that the youth. And by the youth,
- 2:32:01I mean you know people who are between twenty five and forty. We
- 2:32:09have a leadership desert, so to speak. But that's bullshit. What we
- 2:32:18have is a bunch of people in debt who couldn't afford to run if they
- 2:32:24tried, because we've been sold a false bill of goods on credit in college,
- 2:32:30and we've been put in a hole that we could never dig out of.
- 2:32:35But also, hey, oh k Oh buddy, I'm part of that
- 2:32:41section. Don't worry. What stop? No, cut it out? What
- 2:32:48does that make mean? Now that you said that, what are you like?
- 2:32:52What does that make me? First off, do you know I'm now
- 2:32:56considered a senior citizen? I posted it on my Facebook the other day.
- 2:33:01I've been getting aided people born, people that are born earlier than seventy three
- 2:33:07are considered senior citizens. God, I'm fucking fifty three years old. How
- 2:33:15the hell am I a senior citizen? I want to say now, you
- 2:33:20know what, I don't want to say anything because if I say anything,
- 2:33:22it's gonna sound like I'm defending or that I'm like whatever, please do it,
- 2:33:26come on, bring it, baby, I don't have it. I
- 2:33:28mean. The reality is that people who are in power are within a certain
- 2:33:31age range. People who are not in power are kind of in my generation
- 2:33:35of people who actually, you can't you can't afford there to go be an
- 2:33:43office. Now, there's no affordability at all. It's too expensive. The
- 2:33:52but but what we are and honestly, having decided this and named it people
- 2:33:58that may have named it before, but being the skipped generation, it's fine.
- 2:34:05It's cool because these people will not leave office. They will not quit,
- 2:34:09they will not stop. There are no term limits. They're not going
- 2:34:11to go what I'm hoping they die, and then the generation right behind us,
- 2:34:20who happen to be a little more sensible, a little more accepting,
- 2:34:22a little more open generally, will then take the spot because all of us
- 2:34:28are freaking jaded towards the fact that that there's any chance of change. These
- 2:34:33people are too busy arguing over stupid fucking impeachments that don't even matter without the
- 2:34:37risk of getting beyond political. But what bothers me, But I gotta stop
- 2:34:43you there, because of what bothers me is when those younger people want to
- 2:34:46go in, they're not going to get the financial backing they need to get
- 2:34:50elected unless they lie and drink the kool aid. Yep, yep. Because
- 2:34:56sure it's a cult. I have decided, and I sometimes am sad to
- 2:35:07admit this. I was a card carrying Republican until the damn Republican Tea Party
- 2:35:13shit happened and they started drinking this batshit crazy Jews. Now, just because
- 2:35:18I was a Republican didn't mean always voted Republican, but I mostly identified and
- 2:35:24agreed on their list of ten things, I agreed with six, only four
- 2:35:28over here, so I felt that's where I belonged. Now, both sides
- 2:35:33are screwed up. All they want to do is fight with each other,
- 2:35:39and it's just old white people. I'm trying to look, I'm trying to
- 2:35:48something. I wish I could talk my older son into running for politics,
- 2:35:58because he is a mini version of me, but with more intelligence. He's
- 2:36:07that younger generation, so he experienced things much different than me, so he
- 2:36:13has a different viewpoint, but he truly knows the difference between right and wrong
- 2:36:22and he believes so. My motto in my day job is it's all about
- 2:36:26the people. This world only works because of people, and you need to
- 2:36:33be kind to each other. He would be phenomenal because he wouldn't take shit.
- 2:36:39He would let you know exactly what he's thinking, and he wouldn't sugarcoat
- 2:36:45it. He would be like, guys, this is all I can do.
- 2:36:48I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you I'm gonna vote that way
- 2:36:50because I can't. And I think we need that. I think we need
- 2:36:54them to be transparent and say I really want to do it your way,
- 2:36:56but if I do it. They're not going to give me money to get
- 2:36:58real left it kind of thing. So if anybody wants to vote for JEFFA,
- 2:37:07and he shared what his stage name was or his name when he was
- 2:37:11young, he can't use that to run for president. But I do think
- 2:37:15JEFFA would be a very good politician, but his dynamic penis would have to
- 2:37:20stay at home. Okay, So here I want to talk about this.
- 2:37:33I'm not saying that baby boomers need to go. Here's what I'm saying.
- 2:37:37And I think the blanket statement was confusing. And then I'll be done talking
- 2:37:41about this. We can move on to my shorter case. You all are
- 2:37:43awesome for sticking around with us and going through this. But what I'm saying
- 2:37:48is that, and I know that baby boomers are between fifty and mid seventies
- 2:37:56the average age, I'm not a baby boomer. Hold on, I'm giving
- 2:38:05it a goog. No, you're right, baby boomers were born between forty
- 2:38:09six and sixty four. Right, thank you. I'm like going, wait
- 2:38:11a minute, because my double Ah is a baby boomer us A right at
- 2:38:16seventy five, fifty seventy five. That's what I'm meant to say so.
- 2:38:22My issue is this is that the average age of a senator or representative is
- 2:38:31in the high fifties, which and there's nothing wrong with that obviously. What
- 2:38:35that means is is that while there are some younger than the high fifties,
- 2:38:39they're also a lot older some being sure that the average is high fifties.
- 2:38:41So, for instance, Chuck Grassley is eighty nine, he's in he's a
- 2:38:50senator, and he was born in nineteen thirty four, which is when Bonnie
- 2:38:54and Clyde were shot. This is what I'm saying, Like there the top
- 2:39:03ages right now are eighty nine, eighty six, eighty six, eighty six,
- 2:39:05eighty five, eighty five, eighty four. Why why is that the
- 2:39:11case should be time limits? It's not necessarily that it's the term limits,
- 2:39:18correct, It's it's term limits. It's the fact that once they are re
- 2:39:22elected or elected, they are looking towards the next election. How can I
- 2:39:26raise that money? How can I get those votes? No, not even
- 2:39:30how can I get those votes? How can I get that money? It
- 2:39:35really doesn't have to do with age, But what it does have to do
- 2:39:37with is how long they're in it just and that's the problem. You shouldn't
- 2:39:43have anyone my opinion, anyone that impacts a nation or a state should not
- 2:39:56be in office more than a certain amount of time because then it becomes a
- 2:40:03cult like environment and it becomes all about control. So they need to come
- 2:40:11in, make effective change, spend their four to eight years, and then
- 2:40:16get the hell out of dodge it. Go write a book, because you
- 2:40:22shouldn't. You have too much control. You shouldn't have. It's a monopoly.
- 2:40:30We don't let too big of companies merge together. Like, no way
- 2:40:33could American Airlines and United ever merge because they would have too big of a
- 2:40:37monopoly. Right. If you have these people who are in it year after
- 2:40:45year, twenty thirty years, that's a monopoly because they control it. In
- 2:40:50these young little whipper snappers don't have a fighting chance in hell. No,
- 2:40:56Like I'll put it this way, Yes, I focused everything on when Chuck
- 2:41:03was born. Jack Grassley came into office in nineteen eighty one. Nineteen eighty
- 2:41:09one was when Donkey Kong was released. It's when The Fox and the Hound
- 2:41:13was released. It's when MTV launched on cable. It's when AIDS was first
- 2:41:20supportive as an in pneumonia it's just like like they're there's nothing wrong with longstanding.
- 2:41:31It's no, there is not wrong with the times, but it is
- 2:41:37because you get set in your ways and you go with that. If it's
- 2:41:43not broken, don't fix it. And you think it's not broken because you
- 2:41:48can't look at other opinions or other things because you get set in your ways.
- 2:41:54It's just like an old married couple. Why are you so married to
- 2:41:58him? I don't know. Damn well, why are you that way?
- 2:42:01It's just the way I've always been. You just get used to routine.
- 2:42:07Well and and yeah yeah, and I mean I said, I don't focus
- 2:42:13on age, but like even well, there should bless her heart. But
- 2:42:18like the only reason she left was because she died. I know, but
- 2:42:24there should be. So my ex father in law, Loser number one's dad,
- 2:42:30his dad was a nice guy. He used to get so mad at
- 2:42:33me because I was a young twenty one year old girl. And I'm like,
- 2:42:37yeah, you turn sixty five, you should have to go and take
- 2:42:41your driving test every year, because I thought sixty five you should have your
- 2:42:45driver's license taken away. Now that I'm fifty three, I'm thinking, oh
- 2:42:54wow, But I do still think even though I'm older, you know what,
- 2:42:58it's sixty five, I probably should have to take a driving test at
- 2:43:03least every three years because you start declining mentally can't read as well. So
- 2:43:11if you need to do that, why should you be in office? Why
- 2:43:16should you be sitting on the court. I mean, you shouldn't know.
- 2:43:22The people who have to vote for that are the ones that are in power,
- 2:43:24and they don't want to get out of power. So there's until like
- 2:43:28a majority of people who have common sense get in office, there's the probably
- 2:43:33yeah. Because now and I won't get on this soapbox, but I'm still
- 2:43:41pissed that Florida and Texas are taking Charlotte's Web out of schools because it's not
- 2:43:48an appropriate book. Oh don't worry. I had to be at that in
- 2:43:54school. But what is wrong with Charlotte and Wilburt in Templeton? They are
- 2:44:03in God's creation? Is wrong with them? And why do we need to
- 2:44:07take that book out of school? And because we are doing those things,
- 2:44:13our next generations is going to be scary because we are trying to protect them
- 2:44:20and not let them read this. See this. I mean, I'm not
- 2:44:26saying there's some books that probably shouldn't be in elementary or middle schools kids,
- 2:44:31you know, shouldn't be. But Charlotte's Web? What the hell is wrong
- 2:44:35with Charlotte's Web? And where the red fern grows? Florida and Texas are
- 2:44:43trying to school children to think the way they think. Well, I mean,
- 2:44:54Hanover County, Okay, away, my county may happen. But the
- 2:45:00Templeton just wants to eat and be fed. He's a rat and that's what
- 2:45:05rats do. Rats in New York still pizza. Rats in New York just
- 2:45:11want food. Doesn't necessarily make him bad, I mean, good God.
- 2:45:18He was voiced by Paul Lynde in the cartoon, Like is that why?
- 2:45:22Because Paul is gay but just didn't come out because he was scared to like
- 2:45:26maha, Like, is that why we're getting I see that politicians want to
- 2:45:33groom our children to think the way they want them to think, is my
- 2:45:41opinion. And I don't know if it's a shelf of band books in my
- 2:45:46kids room. And I don't know if anybody saw this headline. I haven't
- 2:45:50covered it yet on when doing my makeup because I just get too mad the
- 2:45:56politician he and his wife, but I think she was the primary person who
- 2:46:01helped run about that don't say gay and about not teaching alternative sex and sexual
- 2:46:11identity in school. He just got charges filed against him for sexual assault.
- 2:46:16And she admits they were in a three way with this female that they're saying
- 2:46:22don't say gay hashtag not a drag queen. But I'm like, you're literally
- 2:46:31in the three way with another female and you just pushed an agenda and got
- 2:46:37it approved that you can't but terry, there was a dick there. I
- 2:46:46don't care. It's still you're saying that marriage is between a husband and a
- 2:46:52wife. And if you're saying that's what's the case, that means your marital
- 2:46:56bedroom has to only consist of a man and a wife. You can't have
- 2:47:01it both ways. You can't be tolerant and eat the ice cream. And
- 2:47:11if I'm wrong, somebody educate me. I'm not the smartest person. I
- 2:47:18like to hear all of the different sides I was in debate. I love
- 2:47:24to debate. Help teach me when I'm wrong. I'm okay with being wrong,
- 2:47:28but you do not push an agenda saying that you keep it to this
- 2:47:35And yet in your downtime, in your bedroom. You're doing the opposite that
- 2:47:39makes you not a good person. People come to this country because you should
- 2:47:46be able to have your cake and eat it too, like you should,
- 2:47:50and nobody should judge you for that, like like I stay out of mind.
- 2:47:56Right if somebody walks in on you and you have a plate with a
- 2:48:00full cake and your mouth is full, like they just need to be like
- 2:48:03awesome for you and walk away like nobody. No, that is the wrong
- 2:48:09response. The response should be do you need a glass of milk? Okay?
- 2:48:15Well listen, okay, Well in my analogy, if I was in
- 2:48:20a in a room with a full cake and I had a mouthful and somebody
- 2:48:26said you need to but you do because you might choke eating all of them,
- 2:48:33you might choke on it. Okay, all right, okay, this
- 2:48:39is so not sockrish. We so went political. We have lost every listener
- 2:48:45and viewer whatever. They're gone now, but they're still here. I saw
- 2:48:52the one. I saw the thumb up and one. I was like,
- 2:48:56yeah, we lost everybody. We got one words. No listen, I
- 2:49:01will, I will, I will talk about my viewpoints and I will try
- 2:49:05and make reasonable arguments about it reasonable for the most part. Rhetorically, I
- 2:49:11will not push my stuff like I'm not going to push it on you.
- 2:49:13I'm not saying if you don't believe it, I don't like you. But
- 2:49:18I will have a conversation about it. So, okay, we can't have
- 2:49:24honest communication because everybody wants to judge. So those of you that do not
- 2:49:33agree with this next statement, I will tell you none of my friends do,
- 2:49:37none of my family does, and have only met one other person who
- 2:49:41agreed with me. Do you know why George W was a good president?
- 2:49:50Old guy for an old guy, He's still looked damn good in them wranglers
- 2:49:54and cowboy hat. He could still rock the stetson and the wranglers. I'm
- 2:50:01gonna I'm gonna steal this. I'm gonna steal this quote from another podcast that
- 2:50:05I listened to, and I would I would say the same thing to George
- 2:50:09Bush and Adolf Hitler. You should have stuck with painting. Just stick with
- 2:50:16painting, Just stick with just stick with painting. Okay, book I have
- 2:50:22his book of paintings. Like I said, I didn't say he was a
- 2:50:24good president. I didn't say it was a good person. I just said,
- 2:50:28for an old guy, he could rock spare wranglers in a stetson.
- 2:50:31That's all I'm saying. Here's what I want. I want George Bush on
- 2:50:35one side of the room, Paul Stanley from Kiss on the other, and
- 2:50:39they're both painting, and I just want to hear that conversation. That's what
- 2:50:43I want. That's what I want. Now. It's funny you say that
- 2:50:48I do have George W's Bush or Bush. I don't have his Bush.
- 2:50:54I have his book. I have his book. It's on my coffee table
- 2:50:58and it it's about the one immigrant to the next or something. It's where
- 2:51:05he did the paintings of different people who migrated to the US who became successful
- 2:51:13and made direct impact to community. And I forgot who gave it to me,
- 2:51:20and the note on it was sorry, but there's not a picture of
- 2:51:22him in his genes. That's how shallow I am. Uh. You know
- 2:51:33it all started with Reagan. But that doesn't not the point Bush. I
- 2:51:37swear God, I'm gonna get to my case. But Bush was one of
- 2:51:41those guys where I just don't think this is gonna sound really bad, but
- 2:51:46I'm gonna say anyways, I just don't think he was smart enough to make
- 2:51:50his own decisions. And I think he just listened to whatever whoever was in
- 2:51:54his ear, like Dick Cheney and his dad. Yeah, well yeah,
- 2:52:00yeah, I mean, I mean I think you just did. He was
- 2:52:03like, he was like, uh, what did I talk about? A
- 2:52:05rock rock star? The rock star from Pearl Jam. He was like that
- 2:52:07guy. He did this to make his dad proud. He did. Now,
- 2:52:13the laws he made in Texas about drugs, I mean, it was
- 2:52:18back in the dare days, and I'll admit I voted for him. I
- 2:52:22was young, naive, but now I look back because I was raised that
- 2:52:31if you smoked pot you should be in prison. Now that I'm aren't educated
- 2:52:37and I'm much older, I'm like, what the hell was I being fed
- 2:52:41and raised on? I was all like, yeah, we had people go
- 2:52:46to prison longer in Texas for having a joint then for killing your own damn
- 2:52:52kids. Who's Carl Rove? M Who's Prose, the former White House Deputy
- 2:53:05chief of Staff for George Bush. Uh So he's usually usually the voice in
- 2:53:13the ear. Okay, No, that's Rover Okay. I was like,
- 2:53:24oh, but I need to see the picture that's Rover. But yeah,
- 2:53:28so is gonna take all of this out? You know what, I may
- 2:53:35just have to jump on and release the live with no editing and release it
- 2:53:43special. Why not use he will slice this up and he will bleep out
- 2:53:54every Yeah, let's just not We're not even gonna tell him that we're gonna
- 2:53:58do it, and we'll just release it. Uh. Oh, I'm a
- 2:54:05hard work girl, but I like me some George. Okay, George straight.
- 2:54:09I was like, oh, is there somebody else that thinks George W
- 2:54:11looks good in Wranglers? But no, she's talking about the king. She's
- 2:54:18talking about the king. So well, just to get your morning, we'll
- 2:54:24get to your case when we go to do I don't know if it's celebrity
- 2:54:28crimes or political crimes. I forget, but I do. I'm covering Laura
- 2:54:33Bush because I've already written the script and we're gonna do some Bush. But
- 2:54:43hmmm, so we will have a Brazilian Okay, So my my, my
- 2:54:52script. I called this, I called this unveiling. Don't tie. It
- 2:55:00works if you don't touch it. It's not your wife, it doesn't want
- 2:55:05to be touched. Its work. Okay. So it's called unveiling the dark
- 2:55:11realities of celebrity obsession. So Teresa Saldana just was was an American actress she
- 2:55:20related to No, I don't think so my case. Okay, No,
- 2:55:26so she faced the stalking incident in eighty two that would serve as a pivotal
- 2:55:31moment. You can't see it in the chat, but in the discord.
- 2:55:39I've been told that the next stream should be titled more Bush. Okay,
- 2:55:43okay, I question, why have I still not been invited to this discord?
- 2:55:50I have been asking for months. I told you I did because I
- 2:55:54talked to the Pokemon people on discord. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 2:56:00So so you're familiar, I will make sure that you have to invite
- 2:56:03this for really our last edition of True Crime and Wine time, because Terry
- 2:56:11doesn't need to get a memo twice to be told she's just he's just not
- 2:56:15that into me anymore. As not it. Okay, So it's been fired
- 2:56:22this. Oh I'm already getting messages that are like in Terry Now. My
- 2:56:28lights just went out in my office. No, oh, Alexa, it
- 2:56:33was turn on pink. It was the Bush's fault. No, double a
- 2:56:41just set them to automatically go off at ten thirty, said time forbid.
- 2:56:48Okay, So this incident happened in eighty two. It was a huge moment
- 2:56:54and it shed light on the perils of like perils of what celebrities go through,
- 2:57:01but also women in general. So Arthur Richard Jackson, the perpetrator,
- 2:57:09fixated Unsel Donna after watching her in the film Defiance also I think Reaching Bull.
- 2:57:15His fascination escalated into a dangerous obsession. He meticulously gathered information about her
- 2:57:20personal life, which created an unsettling backdrop for the tragic events that followed in
- 2:57:26the midst of Granite City. So he was he was born in Granite City,
- 2:57:30which is Aberdeen, Scotland. He had an ordinary night out at a
- 2:57:35Scottish cinema, but that turned into an unsettling journey of basically what seemed like
- 2:57:43a harmless cinophile who turned into Hollywood's first stalker at least first you know,
- 2:57:50a public So he yeah, so this is this was it. He was
- 2:58:00in the cinema during the screening of Raging Bull and his his He wasn't captivated
- 2:58:05by Robert t. Niro, uh, he was captivated by the supporting actress
- 2:58:09Teresa Saldana, and by the film's end, he had By the film's end,
- 2:58:16he had an intention to kill her, and it was fueled by the
- 2:58:18thought that their souls would unite in an afterlife. So Jackson was born in
- 2:58:26thirty five. He had a tumultuous childhood. It was marked by his father's
- 2:58:31abandonment and his mother's battle with mental illness. He hinted at an underlying the
- 2:58:35underlying issue. While these these underlying issues would later manifest in this behavior,
- 2:58:41he was diagnosed with neu rass. There's a lot of a lot of odd
- 2:58:46sounds in this neur rasen, neu rasp. Oh my gosh, I can't
- 2:58:54even he was this thing is to fine an ICD ten as characterized by a
- 2:59:01persistent and distressing complaint of increased fatigue after mental effort, or persistent and distressing
- 2:59:07complaints of bodily weakness and exhaustion after minimal effort. That I literally can't say
- 2:59:16it. I can't say I like that. It was a lot to get
- 2:59:18there. I am a pint of beer in So, because of this constant
- 2:59:31exhaustion, he basically filled his life with the cinema and theater and things like
- 2:59:39that, and so he had this because of this high dependency. Well,
- 2:59:43we'll talk about these kind of situations in a second. First, I want
- 2:59:46to talk briefly about Teresa. Teresa Saldana was an American actress. She was
- 2:59:52known for her work in film and television. Like I said, she was
- 2:59:54born August twentieth, nineteen fifty four in Brooklyn. She came from a modest
- 2:59:58background. She had an early life that was marked by a love of the
- 3:00:03performing arts. Her interest in acting was evident during her teenage years, so
- 3:00:09she pursued formal training and education. She studied at the High School of Performing
- 3:00:13Arts in New York and her excuse me, her breakthrough came with her role
- 3:00:20as the wife of Joe Peshi. This is quite the breakthrough. She was
- 3:00:24the wife of Joe Peschi's character in Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull. That's a hell
- 3:00:28of a breakthrough, is right, and not only showcased her acting, but
- 3:00:35it also opened doors for further opportunities. And her on screen presence garnered that
- 3:00:41attention. And then she had roles in The Evil that Men Do and I
- 3:00:46Want to hold your hand, things like that. She also found success in
- 3:00:52the small screen. One of her most significant roles was the television series The
- 3:00:56Commission, where she portrayed Rachel Scally, the wife of the main character.
- 3:01:03So in terms of the psychology behind the obsession with celebrities, because that's really
- 3:01:15what's interesting, and not only that, but this kind of applies to the
- 3:01:16whole Ian Watkins things too a little bit. But it's complex, it's multifaceted.
- 3:01:22So I just kind of want to talk about some key aspects of this.
- 3:01:26In the first one's parasocial interaction, and that is basically one sided,
- 3:01:33one directional relationships that individuals form with media per personalities, including celebrities and humans
- 3:01:39are I mean, we know this, this is why we do what we
- 3:01:43do. But we're social beings. Our brains are wired to form social connections,
- 3:01:48even in the absence of communication going back and forth or reciprocal communication.
- 3:01:54We feel a deep connection to celebrities, or we might because of the perceived
- 3:02:00intimacy and accessibility because of the media. They don't know anything about you,
- 3:02:05but because you know everything about them, there's this sense of intimacy. There's
- 3:02:11also this concept of escapism and idealization. So celebrity culture offers an escape from
- 3:02:18the challenges of everyday life, and people become obsessed with celebrities as a way
- 3:02:22to detach from their own reality, immerse themselves in the glamorous and idealized,
- 3:02:30and celebrities are often portrayed as possessing qualities or lifestyles that people deem desirable.
- 3:02:35Right now, those qualities or lifestyles are kind of broadening far too slowly,
- 3:02:43you know, far too slow. I wish they were broader, but here
- 3:02:46we are. And then you have social comparison theory, which is where individuals
- 3:02:54naturally engage in social comparison, assessing themselves against others. Celebrities, being highly
- 3:03:03visible, excuse me, become benchmarks for comparison, and people incorporate aspects of
- 3:03:09a celebrity's identity into their own, until you know, the perceived traits or
- 3:03:15lifestyles shape their own core identity, which is really really sad. And then
- 3:03:22of course you've got things like celebrity worship syndrome, which is an irrational admiration
- 3:03:28for celebrity. And of course we heard about that in your your first case.
- 3:03:35We learned about that, yes, And and of course you know there's
- 3:03:39the usual social media accessibility obviously, it is much easier to get in contact.
- 3:03:46Like I posted some thing once and mankind or Mike Foley responded the wrestler,
- 3:03:52I posted something once and I can't remember her name. She's a tattoo
- 3:03:54artist. She was married in Nikki six for a while. But she responded
- 3:04:00like, these are things that even the smallest connection and then blossom into an
- 3:04:05obsession because oh, I was important enough for them to respond to me.
- 3:04:09I now need to go and learn more. Right. The other situation with
- 3:04:16all of this is biological and evolutionary. So mirror neurons play a role in
- 3:04:22empathy. So when individuals observe celebrities experiencing emotions, their mirror neurons might activate,
- 3:04:28which creates a sense of shared experience, which then adds on too a
- 3:04:33sense of bonding, which then is an irrational connection to this person no matter
- 3:04:37what you try. So the culmination of Jackson's fixation occurred on March fifteenth,
- 3:04:46eighty two, when he ambushed Teresa outside of her West Hollywood residence. He
- 3:04:50was armed with a five inch hunting knife. He launched a vicious attack.
- 3:04:54He stabbed her multiple times. The shocking assault unfolded in broad daylight and it
- 3:05:00was witnessed, and there was a swift response actually from a delivery man who
- 3:05:07was named Jeffrey Fenn, and also a passing pedestrian, Beatrice Belvici. But
- 3:05:13they prevented the incident from becoming fatal. Uh, They intervened, They subdued
- 3:05:18Jackson, and they held him until law enforcement showed up. So good on
- 3:05:22both of them. Yeah, her survival and this goes without saying, but
- 3:05:33it hinged on prompt medical intervention. She was transported directly to the hospital.
- 3:05:39She went under, underwent emergency surgery. The nature of the attack, which
- 3:05:46was brazen in the subsequent emergency response, that's it highlights kind of the vulnerability
- 3:05:52of anybody really, and there needs to be comprehensive measures taken to practic protect
- 3:06:00people. So obviously, because he was held down, Arthur Richard Jackson was
- 3:06:05apprehended at the scene and he faced charges of attempted murder. The subsequent legal
- 3:06:11proceedings uncovered his history of mental illness and previous institutionalization. The trial delved into
- 3:06:18the depths of his fixation, revealing a disturbing nature, the disturbing nature of
- 3:06:22celebrity stalking. At his trial, his bizarre divine quote mission and disturbing declaration
- 3:06:30shocked the courtroom. Convicted of attempted murder and assault, his infamy as the
- 3:06:35original stalker was pretty much cemented. Despite a reduced sentence on appeal, he
- 3:06:41served additional time also after expressing ongoing threats to sal Donna from his prison cell.
- 3:06:46So good on him, he sure learned his lessons. Oh he he.
- 3:06:54He ultimately to charges of attempted murder. You know, he received twelve
- 3:06:58years, while Salnana was spared. The emotional toll the guilty plea underscore the
- 3:07:05severity of the crime, like there's no way he's going to get away with
- 3:07:09this. Now, there was some good stuff that came out of it.
- 3:07:16The stalking case basically catapulted the issue of stalking into the public consciousness. It
- 3:07:22prompted widespread discussion about the dangers that people public figures to face and the imparative
- 3:07:30the importance of heightened security. Now following the incident, which is obviously deemed
- 3:07:37highly dramatic, Theresa actually emerged as a resilient advocate for victims' rights, and
- 3:07:41she channeled her experience into creating the organization Victims for Victims, dedicated to supporting
- 3:07:48those affected by stalking and violent crimes. Teresa's advocacy played a crucial role in
- 3:07:54raising awareness and influencing legal efforts. Are sorry influencing legal forms to better protect
- 3:08:01individuals from stalking. She continued her acting career. She contributed to various film
- 3:08:07and television projects, and her legacy extends beyond just those achievements as well,
- 3:08:11because she's been seen generally as a symbol of strength and resilience and a voice
- 3:08:16for those who might be voiceless who have experienced trauma. There was a palpable
- 3:08:24shift after this case in public policy. The incident basically started up the development
- 3:08:31of anti stalking laws, providing legal framework to combat such behavior, and it
- 3:08:41was recognized as a serious crime. Now, terres Seldona stalking case stands as
- 3:08:46a watershed moment, spotlighting the dark underbelly of celebrity life and potentially life threatening
- 3:08:52consequences of unchecked obsessions. The incident spurred not only increased public awareness, but
- 3:08:58also tangible legal reform, and her ordeals served as a catalyst for change now
- 3:09:05In the epilogue of Sorts, Teresa passed away June six, twenty sixteen,
- 3:09:11at the age of sixty one. She left behind the legacy of artistic contributions
- 3:09:15and profound impact on the advocacy for victims of stalking and violent crimes. Her
- 3:09:20life story serves as truly an inspiring narrative for overcoming adversity, especially unplanned adversity.
- 3:09:31I don't know any planned adversity, to be honest with you, but
- 3:09:33here we are Arthur Jackson's. Arthur Jackson's tale took another dark turn when a
- 3:09:41letter to Metropolitan Police in London unraveled a twenty nine year old unstolved murder,
- 3:09:46admitting to gunning down a cab driver In sixty seven. Jackson faced extradition,
- 3:09:50admitting manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility. In ninety seven, he was transferred
- 3:09:56to the State Hospital at Carstairs. He died in two thousand and four,
- 3:10:01marking the end of his troubled life. Yeah, and so like he is
- 3:10:09the first infamous stalker. And of course it just went from there, right
- 3:10:16mm hmm. Now, yeah, do you think our laws are strict enough
- 3:10:24for stalkers? No? Okay said yes, we were going to get into
- 3:10:28a huge debate. No, the answer is no, and for for multiple
- 3:10:33reasons. I've had plenty of people that I know that that I've had to
- 3:10:37contemplate getting a restraining order things like that, right, or protective order.
- 3:10:43But the reality is this is that they're not confident that that's gonna work.
- 3:10:50And if they do it and the person finds out, which they will,
- 3:10:52that's more dangerous to them. And if nobody's gonna respond or take them seriously,
- 3:10:56then there's no point in them doing it. Protective order is a piece
- 3:11:00of paper. It's not gonna help. Now. I don't know if anybody
- 3:11:05listens to the Whining Crime Girls, but Amanda recently got married and they have
- 3:11:13a famous podcast. Luckily they were smart enough to have security because a crazy
- 3:11:20fan tried to break into their wedding. And I have to be honest,
- 3:11:24when I was hearing that, I was like, oh my god, that's
- 3:11:28a podcaster. That would happen. I mean, we're no famous. We
- 3:11:33will never I mean maybe hopefully one day we'll get there, but I don't
- 3:11:37see it happening for a while. But Ann, I would never be getting
- 3:11:41married again. But I you know, it's just crazy that people think that's
- 3:11:48okay. And that's the part that just bamboozles me. I know, we'd
- 3:11:54never, and I'm one of those people. We run into celebrities in Austin
- 3:12:00quite frequently, and we especially did when we lived in Vegas and I was
- 3:12:03part of then about a development authority. But I had a strict rule.
- 3:12:07You do not go up and talk to them if they're on their personal time.
- 3:12:11If it's a meet and greet, you've paid to meet them, it's
- 3:12:13a book signing, they're out meeting the public. You can talk to them.
- 3:12:18Other than that, you leave them the hell alone and let them be
- 3:12:22a person, because they are a person. So I don't think a laws
- 3:12:28are enough, especially for celebrities. And in college, I think I was
- 3:12:37a junior, possibly a senior, but I didd somebody who whose ex boyfriend
- 3:12:43was super jealous of what I don't know, had you now, but she
- 3:12:50had you well sure this was missus Bruce, And yeah this was not missus
- 3:12:58Bruce. But but you know, it got to it reached a height real
- 3:13:07fast, which was he busted through the door after pretending to want to return
- 3:13:13something to her and busted through her room and just started throwing fists at me,
- 3:13:18which I'm I'm a fighter, right, No, it was through fish.
- 3:13:30She ended up hopping on his back to stop him, right, which
- 3:13:35I mean, that's fine. You know what was I going to do?
- 3:13:37I don't really know him that way? Well, but you didn't know she
- 3:13:43did. So I was sitting there and like some clothes. So it's why
- 3:13:50it's a reality like that's why was there just some clothes? I don't because
- 3:13:56why weren't you fully closed? Why would I be fully clothed? It was
- 3:14:01like two in the morning. So but I have to also say when we're
- 3:14:09young. I'm just gonna leave that one alone. I have to say when
- 3:14:13we're young, and I wasn't that young. When second husband and I got
- 3:14:20divorced, it was my house and stupid me, we get divorced. I
- 3:14:26didn't think it would bother me, right, so I didn't change the locks.
- 3:14:31Oh so, yere goes by dayton. HH, he's over and we're
- 3:14:35sitting on the couch. We were fully clothed, mind you, watching TV.
- 3:14:43In comes walking my ex husband and walks in and he goes, what
- 3:14:48are y'all doing? That's my wife, and I'll never forget HH. Looked
- 3:14:52at him and he goes not anymore. I never thought to change the locks
- 3:15:01because I took his key and he never he never tried to get in before.
- 3:15:07But of course I had dated. I hadn't had anyone over. Let
- 3:15:11me tell you. The locksmith came the next morning. I feel like DOUBLEH
- 3:15:16could back up his shit though, like I cannot. I can talk to
- 3:15:20you, Tom, that's about it. Could he could, but that one,
- 3:15:24I don't know. He was all about shit crazy. I mean,
- 3:15:28he liked to hit women, not men. Well, so HH could have
- 3:15:33definitely taken him well. And like you know, the outcome of like the
- 3:15:39whole story was like I had never had to be in this situation before,
- 3:15:43but I had to start thinking about what I was posting in terms of where
- 3:15:46I was and things like that for a while, and and that is horrifying.
- 3:15:50I just don't there. Oh yeah, really, I think that's more
- 3:16:01a comment on Jody Arius than I'm like, but you just so do people
- 3:16:09not realize that you can put a lock on your docky doors so people can't
- 3:16:13come in. I mean they can't kick them in. They would literally have
- 3:16:18to take a saw thing to cut them out. I thought, No,
- 3:16:24I think it might have been more a comment on the Judy Areaus case where
- 3:16:28she came through the dogy door. But also it is true, so there
- 3:16:33is. But I mean, I think the thing that concerns me about stalkers
- 3:16:39that restraining order doesn't do anything for you because by the time you call the
- 3:16:48police and say they're within so many feet of me, you're dead. Oh
- 3:16:54yeah. But I also have to look at the flip side because my younger
- 3:16:58son X was that shit crazy and she filed all these fake charges and stuff
- 3:17:07against him, saying he was stalking, he was harassing, and he wasn't.
- 3:17:11He wasn't even around, and he had a restraining order put against him.
- 3:17:16And I told him, I said, don't worry about it doesn't really
- 3:17:18mean anything. It's a piece of paper, you know. And then it
- 3:17:22got dropped because of courts told her to stop making shit up. But there's
- 3:17:26that double side. So I mean, I think you need to do something
- 3:17:30more than a piece of paper. But then I look at us crazy women
- 3:17:33that file fake charges and penalize guys. I don't know what. I don't
- 3:17:39know what the answer is. I just know a piece of paper isn't the
- 3:17:43answer. There needs to be something more, whether you hit them financially,
- 3:17:48whether you put a tracking bracelet on them, or I mean something. I
- 3:17:56don't want to ruin their lives until they go to court because they're in it
- 3:18:00sit until proven guilty. But by the time the cops get there, they're
- 3:18:03dead. Yeah. Yeah, and that's my problem. You say, there,
- 3:18:09you know there is more awareness, but there's not enough, and it's
- 3:18:18hard. At least in Texas. I tried to get a restraining order against
- 3:18:22psycho X of my son because of issues with our grandson and threats made and
- 3:18:31things. I couldn't get one because the threat was implied but not direct,
- 3:18:39I think, is what they said. So because she didn't say I'm going
- 3:18:46to kill you and she said, oh I know of a way to kill
- 3:18:52you, it was implied but not direct, and so it was denied.
- 3:18:58So at least in Texas, we still have a ways to go. But
- 3:19:03then again, they think we all have guns so that we don't need a
- 3:19:05protective order. I guess there's so much to do. Oh man, all
- 3:19:13right, so we are hitting three hours and twenty minutes. Holy crivity,
- 3:19:20I know. But I have to say I had a great time, and
- 3:19:24after my horrible day, even though that first case almost did me in,
- 3:19:33I so feel better. Yeah, it is super helpful, and I now
- 3:19:43have a new friend on Discord. Captain and I are friends. You're about
- 3:19:48to have a bunch of them, I promise you. I'm pretty sure we
- 3:19:50got an invite to one surper and a couple other things. Oh, I
- 3:19:54just got another one there. It is the if you get an invite to
- 3:20:01the courtyard, join it. If anybody else gets an invite to the courtyard,
- 3:20:05join it. But yeah, so we do have some bad news that
- 3:20:15I was going to wait to share. Oh can I share now? Okay,
- 3:20:22this is our last live stream of twenty twenty three. Yes, it
- 3:20:26is. This is it? Mm hmm, this is This is it for
- 3:20:33twenty twenty three, and we will be back in January. And just to
- 3:20:41say, and I won't say too much JT, I'll let you, but
- 3:20:43I do know JT has some stuff brewing in the background, for some stuff
- 3:20:50for twenty twenty four to come back and spend more time with you guys.
- 3:20:54Uh yeah, yeah, that is. It's briefly been put on that lots
- 3:20:58to work out, but there's a lot to work out, not to work
- 3:21:03out. But twenty twenty four it's going to be amazing. Yes, yes,
- 3:21:13it surely will. And it'll be on our own time and our own
- 3:21:18schedule and our own you know, values and priorities, and we're going to
- 3:21:22put our self, health and our family before anything. I mean. And
- 3:21:30that's one reason I think our partnership works so well and it's been long lasting,
- 3:21:35is because we have those same values and same things. And I never
- 3:21:41worry about telling you, hey, I just don't feel it, because you'll
- 3:21:45be like, hey, don't feel it. It's fine, I got you,
- 3:21:48and I can tell you. There's so many times that that's not the
- 3:21:54case. I think that's what I love about I think this is that while
- 3:22:05we're not afraid to say that, we also pretty much always keep other people
- 3:22:09first, you know. And I think that that's really important. And the
- 3:22:16minute that you lose sight of that, or you lose what your initial focus
- 3:22:20was, why continue doing what you're doing because that wasn't the initial intent.
- 3:22:26So and I also like that we are confident enough to hold each other accountable
- 3:22:33if we start coloring out of the lines and ropin ess back. Yet.
- 3:22:37Now, I am going to make a promise for twenty twenty four that I
- 3:22:41haven't told JT about. I've only TOLDBLA in twenty twenty four, JT and
- 3:22:50I will physically meet up and stream or share photos. I'm so glad you
- 3:23:01at least told double H this first. Why of course I told him,
- 3:23:09well, if we showed it, if we met randomly and Double Aged didn't
- 3:23:11know about it, that wouldn't be great. Who he knows everything. Because
- 3:23:16Double H was even like, well, you know, you should have him
- 3:23:18and the family come stay with us and hang out at the pool. We
- 3:23:22can do a barbecue, we can all hang out. I'm like, yeah,
- 3:23:24that's really expensive to fly a family of four to Austin, Texas and
- 3:23:31it's a long drive, but we are open to having you all here.
- 3:23:37So that will happen in twenty twenty four, and I think part of twenty
- 3:23:46one hour goal, we are going to maybe schedule it maybe where we can
- 3:23:50invite people who want to come and hang out with this can come hang out
- 3:23:58because I think this is an amazing community and if people want to come meet
- 3:24:05and us just sit around and talk, I so love that. That's how
- 3:24:09I'll just get to know each other. So that is my promise. At
- 3:24:16a bare minimum, JT and I are going to meet up face to face
- 3:24:20and he will be wearing pink, sparkly lipstick. When I'm done with them,
- 3:24:24there will be no red. I mean, I mean, listen,
- 3:24:26listen. I've without hesitation, worn wigs. I just threw on lipstick.
- 3:24:35I don't think I'll have a problem. I have said this multiple times.
- 3:24:37This is not news to anybody. If I had enough time, I would
- 3:24:41be a drag queen if I could. But there is not enough time to
- 3:24:48learn that art like appropriately. And I would never do a disservice to drag
- 3:24:52queens for all the work they do. Oh well, honey, come to
- 3:24:58Austin because I know some and I some of my gays have great connections.
- 3:25:05We can get you dulled up and we will go hit old can Harry's and
- 3:25:09have a good old time. And yes he will. And I can even
- 3:25:18show him how to do drag eyebrows because I know how to do that much.
- 3:25:26Yeah, I I So maybe we've got to meet in Austin, Yes,
- 3:25:33Michel, Michel, we do. My goal for next next year,
- 3:25:37just very briefly, in February, is to make sure that I see Bianca
- 3:25:41del Rio in Richmond, uh, because Bianca is one of my faves.
- 3:25:46And if you look upon this comedy. You'll know why she knows I think
- 3:25:52her what's her Her phrase is like, I don't know much about anything,
- 3:25:56but I have an opinion on everything. Oh that's me. Oh the shade
- 3:26:03that she can throw is amazing. So all right, And I only have
- 3:26:11one complaint. I never saw what our stripper name should be, so I'm
- 3:26:16gonna have to go back through the comments tomorrow to see what our stripper names
- 3:26:20would be and maybe we can one, just one. And what was Yeah
- 3:26:30there was one? Let me see if I can, I might be able
- 3:26:33to find it. Oh money, Oh geeze, I got nothing? Am
- 3:26:46I am sure? I'll take you? Sure, come on up, come
- 3:26:56on up. Yeah, I'll send you. I'll send you the link for
- 3:26:58the best of Bianca send me that. And it was so fabulous. And
- 3:27:05I want to just say I hope everybody has a tricksy terry and jingle bells
- 3:27:11by saying that's what that was, Yes, that's what it was. Okay,
- 3:27:16I kind of like tricksy terry, jingle bells, I mean jingle my
- 3:27:24bells, but jingle bells, could you mean jingle balls? Jingle bulls?
- 3:27:31That actually my fly? That might work. I don't know. I you
- 3:27:35know what, Uh, I kinda have to uh Eric from true consequences.
- 3:27:41Uh. He came up with one for me, and I cannot remember what
- 3:27:46the hell it was. It was really good. I'll have to bring it
- 3:27:48next year. Bring it next year. But I hope everybody has a wonderful
- 3:27:54holiday. Jingle e balls, Oh my god, yes, because we could
- 3:28:00put little balls, little the little balls with bells. Oh my god.
- 3:28:05I'm just I'm visualizing, and I'm making your tea back to go with it.
- 3:28:09I don't rich, but I can. I can hot gluesome bells to
- 3:28:13tea back for you, and you can balls. All I can think of
- 3:28:20is how they would read me on with that. Oh my god, I
- 3:28:24die. Michelle Massage. We will not invite them to look. Yes,
- 3:28:33waiting balls with holly bears. Oh y'all, y'all, we need to do
- 3:28:43this, Okay, okay, when we hit ten thousand tea back with jingly
- 3:28:50bells and holly berries, so you can be jingalls. Okay, all right,
- 3:28:58okay, guys, that is recorded. We are live. It is
- 3:29:01on ten thousand subscribers. Wouldn't you die if we were in January first?
- 3:29:11What would you do if we came in January first and had ten thousand.
- 3:29:13Shit, I mean looks like I'm putting jingle balls on bombabells. So but
- 3:29:20we're back January eleventh, I believe is when we're back. I think it's
- 3:29:28the date. So it was great, and I was just gonna say if
- 3:29:39if you're for lack of material, uh you know we're we're We were doing
- 3:29:50sorry hoppy Holidays on brew Crimes podcast. Yes are there too, Yes you
- 3:29:56are there, and Terry's there, and so hoppy Holiday is like quick cases,
- 3:30:01funny cases. It's primarily humor. And so when I was recording with
- 3:30:09Mike while you were sick, when we finished one, I was like,
- 3:30:13wow, that was so short. We shot our what quick there? Quick
- 3:30:20ons you're fast right, are anywhere between like four to fifteen minutes. But
- 3:30:26it's one thing. It's usually funny, and we're releasing it's one once a
- 3:30:30day, and I believe we have them up until the twenty sixth. So
- 3:30:33check check out brew Crimes podcast and let your friends and enemies know U.
- 3:30:39But also again about this one too, because once we hit a thousand,
- 3:30:43as you all know, bankufp's happening and as well as an extremely hot hot
- 3:30:48sauce, Oh my god, right, and on my TikTok because you know,
- 3:30:52I had to start a new one this summer, so I think I'm
- 3:30:54only at like three hundred on the new one. Once I hit a thousand,
- 3:30:58I can go live to do my makeup and headlines and not have to
- 3:31:03keep them so short. I am struggling with getting makeup done in ten minutes
- 3:31:09and talking about my cases. So I'm really excited. So you can find
- 3:31:13me at Arry True Crime over on the talk as well, because I would
- 3:31:18like to start going live with the headlines in daily makeup because I don't want
- 3:31:22to do it on our YouTube channel because I'm not a makeup artist, as
- 3:31:28we obviously know. But stop it. You are lovely always. Oh I
- 3:31:33am lovely. I'm just not a makeup artist. There's not's not saying anything
- 3:31:39wrong. So make up guys, stay safe, watch out for crime,
- 3:31:46enjoy wine time, and please do not kill your family members during the holidays.
- 3:31:52Step outside, take a couple of deep breaths, yes, take some
- 3:32:00deepress so we don't want to cover yeah no, and and take care of
- 3:32:05yourselves, your friends, your family. I can't remember the rest of everything
- 3:32:09that I normally say I am, I've drank too much. So here we
- 3:32:13are you all know, Shine on you, crazy Diamonds, dog Gunnet.
- 3:32:18We will see you in twenty twenty four. Bye everybody, guys. Two
