Spielberg Says This Horror Is Enough + Faces of Death Reactions | Final Cut 4/7/26

Submissions and Slashers · Apr 7, 2026 · 7m

What kind of horror makes even legends stop chasing it?

Today on The Final Cut:

• Steven Spielberg says a modern horror film completely satisfied his need to make one

• Early reactions to Faces of Death are calling it disturbing, oppressive, and hard to shake

• Lee Cronin’s The Mummy runtime is longer than expected

Horror is evolving—and not everyone is comfortable with it.
