- 0:03Speaker 1: On scoring lids Ostrodia. This is the Wheeder Paney Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Paney Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 2: up tonight, we'll be delving deep into the mushroom.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Killer case with Patrick Carline.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Douglas Murray will join me shortly and he weighs in
- 0:20Speaker 2: on a number of topics, including London's two tier policing
- 0:23Speaker 2: and the woke Hollywood.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Remake of Superman.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Kosher Gator will be here with details of the Trump
- 0:29Speaker 2: Administration's latest round of tariffs, and later in the hour,
- 0:33Speaker 2: Alex Stein will join me from Texas to discuss the
- 0:36Speaker 2: devastating flash flood that has killed more than one hundred Texans,
- 0:40Speaker 2: including dozens of children.
- 0:43Speaker 3: And on that left he is losing.
- 0:45Speaker 2: It features solar schools obsessed with race and politics at
- 0:49Speaker 2: a time of tragedy.
- 0:52Speaker 4: But we're supposed to stop the world and stop everything
- 0:55Speaker 4: we're doing to go in hunt for these little missing
- 0:58Speaker 4: white girls.
- 1:00Speaker 2: But first to the trial that had the nation enthralled.
- 1:04Speaker 2: The mushroom cook killer Aaron Patterson was yesterday. I found
- 1:07Speaker 2: guilty of three counts of murder and one count of
- 1:11Speaker 2: attempted murder. Members of the public shouted murderer. As Patterson
- 1:15Speaker 2: was taken away in a prison van. Victoria Police issued
- 1:19Speaker 2: a statement saying, our thoughts are with the respective families
- 1:23Speaker 2: at this time, and we acknowledge how difficult these past
- 1:26Speaker 2: two years have been for them. Let's bring in senior
- 1:29Speaker 2: writer and news called Patrick Carly and Patrick, the mother
- 1:32Speaker 2: of two is facing life behind bars and now with
- 1:35Speaker 2: the trial concluded, we can discuss this case properly.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Look, there's a lot of things. I think the thing
- 1:42Speaker 5: about this trial is that we've got the right result.
- 1:45Speaker 5: She's found guilty, but there's still a lot of things
- 1:47Speaker 5: that we don't understand. We don't understand why the motive.
- 1:51Speaker 5: That was a big problem for the prosecution. Why would
- 1:53Speaker 5: someone choose to hurt people who they say she loves,
- 1:57Speaker 5: and why would you do it in such an awful way.
- 2:00Speaker 5: There wasn't any motive that could be put for somebody
- 2:03Speaker 5: doing this, and that's why it's so fascinating because it
- 2:05Speaker 5: is so awful.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's so ordinary looking.
- 2:09Speaker 2: She's like, you know, the classic neighbor next door, the
- 2:14Speaker 2: sort of person you see and you would never suspect
- 2:17Speaker 2: of harboring ill intentions like this. But we're hearing a
- 2:22Speaker 2: lot about her now, how she used to be called
- 2:25Speaker 2: Scutter the nutter because it made a name is Scutter
- 2:28Speaker 2: And some of her co workers are saying they saw
- 2:32Speaker 2: her as crazy years ago, and she had a talent
- 2:35Speaker 2: for wrapping men around her little finger. Again, a fascinating
- 2:40Speaker 2: though obviously tragic story. What did you learn about this
- 2:45Speaker 2: case because you covered it for Harold's Son and other newspapers.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I watched her Aaron Patterson hanswer. I think it's four
- 2:53Speaker 5: two hundred and sixty seven questions, which is an awful
- 2:55Speaker 5: lot of questions, and we still don't know who she
- 2:58Speaker 5: really is. The trials started with her defense lawyer saying
- 3:03Speaker 5: she lied to the police, so she was a confessed
- 3:06Speaker 5: liar up front, and that's what we're hearing today in
- 3:08Speaker 5: the reports, So that can now be told after the
- 3:11Speaker 5: verdict has come in. Her colleagues thought she was a
- 3:14Speaker 5: lie going back twenty years ago, and there's a lot
- 3:17Speaker 5: of things and a lot of things about the trial
- 3:19Speaker 5: itself that didn't make sense, and she did light to police,
- 3:23Speaker 5: and it's possible that she lied on the stand as well.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Now you had your doubts about whether the jury would
- 3:31Speaker 2: come back with a guilty verdict, particularly for murder, given
- 3:35Speaker 2: the amount of evidence that was excluded. Tell me a
- 3:39Speaker 2: little bit about that, and I think that went a
- 3:41Speaker 2: long way into convincing you she was guilty.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Look, look, I can't talk about it too much because
- 3:46Speaker 5: the judge put an interim suppression order on a lot
- 3:49Speaker 5: of that pre trial.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Even now that we have a verdict, we can't talk about.
- 3:52Speaker 5: It in our days as we spoke, and so look,
- 3:54Speaker 5: you can read the stories and hear his stories about
- 3:57Speaker 5: her at work as an air traffic ConTroll of twenty
- 4:00Speaker 5: years ago. But there's a lot of things that and
- 4:02Speaker 5: I really can't talk about it. There's a lot of
- 4:04Speaker 5: things that are still to come out, and I think
- 4:06Speaker 5: part of that will be this endless curiosity to actually
- 4:10Speaker 5: understand who this person is. Her husband, Simon, he gave
- 4:16Speaker 5: evidence at a trial. He's made it very clear he'd
- 4:19Speaker 5: like to tell his story, and I think that will
- 4:21Speaker 5: be very revealing in so many ways because he spent
- 4:24Speaker 5: a long time of a long part of his life
- 4:27Speaker 5: with her. He will give a lot of insights into
- 4:30Speaker 5: what kind of person she was. But I think the
- 4:33Speaker 5: big thing is people can't understand we all have in laws,
- 4:37Speaker 5: we all might get frustrated at times, but why would
- 4:39Speaker 5: you choose to actually kill them the way that she did,
- 4:43Speaker 5: and how did she think that she would get away
- 4:45Speaker 5: with it?
- 4:46Speaker 2: And you mentioned the cruelty of this. It is such
- 4:49Speaker 2: a terrible death. It's a horrible, horrible death.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Look at wold when Kinder as awful as it sounds,
- 4:55Speaker 5: would when Kinder as she shot them in the back
- 4:57Speaker 5: of the head or something. These people suffered dreadfully and
- 5:00Speaker 5: that was a big part of the trial, is actually
- 5:01Speaker 5: hearing blow by blow each hour each day they declined.
- 5:07Speaker 5: It was absolutely horrible.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It is horrible, and it's the one of the features
- 5:13Speaker 2: of this poison that she gave them these death cap
- 5:17Speaker 2: mushrooms that even if you get medical help, there's not
- 5:20Speaker 2: much they can do for you.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And you are that's right.
- 5:23Speaker 5: People die from time to time, but they're all accidental. Yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 5: this wasn't accidental, and that's why people will be talking
- 5:29Speaker 5: about this for decades to go.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Now, Patrick, before you go, it's been revealed taxpayers spent
- 5:33Speaker 2: one point five million dollars to send over seventy five
- 5:36Speaker 2: public servants to the UN's Climate change Summit Azerbaijan last year.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Now that's on top of the one hundred and two
- 5:44Speaker 2: thousand dollars spent sending Chris Bowen and his team to
- 5:47Speaker 2: the summit, Patrick, there were forty two star from the
- 5:51Speaker 2: government's Climate Change and Energy Department that scored a junket
- 5:56Speaker 2: to this summit. No doubt most of them, if not
- 5:59Speaker 2: all of them, fly in the pointy end of the plane.
- 6:02Speaker 3: How is this justified?
- 6:04Speaker 2: And we've got zoom meetings now we found that out
- 6:06Speaker 2: through COVID.
- 6:07Speaker 3: You can do things perfectly well on zoom.
- 6:10Speaker 5: It's not justified, is it. It is unbelievable in a
- 6:14Speaker 5: time and Australians are paying through the roof and struggling
- 6:17Speaker 5: to pay these rising power bills, to send dozens and
- 6:22Speaker 5: dozens of public servants to a summit that really doesn't
- 6:24Speaker 5: matter that much. It really is a big vanity project
- 6:28Speaker 5: is unbelievable. The optics on this are dreadful, and.
- 6:31Speaker 2: The optics and the hypocrisy of sending all these people
- 6:36Speaker 2: when it's.
- 6:36Speaker 3: A climate change summit.
- 6:37Speaker 2: The whole point is that we're facing catastrophic climate change
- 6:42Speaker 2: and yet these seem to people don't seem to be
- 6:45Speaker 2: too concerned at all.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Patrick, Carly and thanks for your time today.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Joining me now is the author of international best sellers,
- 6:52Speaker 2: including The War on the West, The Strange Death of Europe,
- 6:55Speaker 2: and his latest on democracies and death cults, Douglas Murray.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Let's start in Germany. They have a problem there with
- 7:02Speaker 2: men groping young women, including at public swimming pools, so
- 7:06Speaker 2: authorities came up with this public awareness campaign.
- 7:10Speaker 3: This is the work of the city of.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Buren, featuring ethnic Germans assaulting migrants. My favorite, I've got
- 7:17Speaker 2: to say, is the redheaded woman groping a man with
- 7:20Speaker 2: a wooden leg in the pool. Douglas, this campaign, we're
- 7:25Speaker 2: laughing at it, but really is an insult to the
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's an insult to the victims.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. Rito.
- 7:33Speaker 6: What a typical example of a country failing to deal
- 7:38Speaker 6: with the problem at hand and instead deciding to completely
- 7:43Speaker 6: upended so that the epidemic of male sexual violence against
- 7:48Speaker 6: women that has come too countries like Germany, Sweden and
- 7:52Speaker 6: other countries in Europe Britain as a result of mass migration,
- 7:57Speaker 6: mainly from the Muslim world, is turned into who because
- 8:01Speaker 6: they can't deal with that, of course, because that would
- 8:03Speaker 6: be so uncomfortable to actually have to address. Is turned
- 8:07Speaker 6: into yes, we have this obvious epidemic in Germany of
- 8:11Speaker 6: gingerhead middle aged German frows grouping the ethnic men at
- 8:19Speaker 6: their local swimming swimming facilities. I've not heard of these cases,
- 8:25Speaker 6: if they do exist, I particularly the attempt of middle
- 8:30Speaker 6: aged German women to assault one legged migrants. But it's
- 8:36Speaker 6: absolutely classic, isn't it. It's really easy to deal.
- 8:40Speaker 1: With problems like this.
- 8:41Speaker 6: You just enforce the law, and you enforce the law
- 8:45Speaker 6: to make sure that male rapists and assaulters, whoever they are,
- 8:50Speaker 6: are brought to justice, but not to pretend that that
- 8:54Speaker 6: problem doesn't exist.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I mean, you could, as a.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Secondary thing, have a public awareness campaign two new arrivals
- 9:01Speaker 6: to say to them, by the way, whatever the rules
- 9:04Speaker 6: back home, you don't bring this stuff to Europe.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You don't bring this stuff to Germany or to the West.
- 9:11Speaker 6: You could do that very easily if you weren't terrified
- 9:14Speaker 6: of accusations like Islamophobia, racist and everything else. And it's
- 9:20Speaker 6: just so pitiful seeing a country and its authorities be
- 9:25Speaker 6: reduced to this. As you say, it is both laughable
- 9:29Speaker 6: and incredibly serious. You know, where is the justice for
- 9:34Speaker 6: all of the women and girls in countries like Germany
- 9:39Speaker 6: who have been.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Assaulted in recent years by recent arrivals.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Their stories actually tend not to be raised, particularly because
- 9:46Speaker 6: of course that goes against the great prevailing multicultural narrative.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And as I say, it's just.
- 9:52Speaker 6: It's in one level laughable and on another just an
- 9:56Speaker 6: example of one of the pandemics of our time, which
- 10:01Speaker 6: is just our inability to face up to realities that
- 10:04Speaker 6: are staring us in the face.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And I do wonder how many grooming gang scandals are
- 10:12Speaker 2: happening across Europe with authorities too terrify to tackle real
- 10:16Speaker 2: issues because they don't want to seem politically incorrect or
- 10:20Speaker 2: racially insensitive. I bet the UK wasn't alone in that outrage.
- 10:25Speaker 2: But talking about the UK, we saw Sadik Khan proudly
- 10:30Speaker 2: share this image on x You think this was the
- 10:34Speaker 2: flag of a conquering army the way it's displayed there,
- 10:38Speaker 2: But perhaps it is the flag of a conquering army, Douglas,
- 10:42Speaker 2: because look what happened when this young man, Montgomery Tom's,
- 10:46Speaker 2: wore a billboard saying that the trans flag represented mental illness.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Have a look, young people have been mutilated, those why
- 10:53Speaker 7: young people have been and there's one of Tavistock Clinning
- 10:56Speaker 7: was closed down for mutilating young people. I'm now going
- 10:58Speaker 7: to be searched. Apparently I'm provoking. Apparently what I'm doing
- 11:01Speaker 7: is half. I've done nothing wrong. I've exercised my right
- 11:03Speaker 7: to demonstrate. I've exercised my right to protest.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Douglas he was arrested, he was put in handcuffs by
- 11:09Speaker 2: eleven police officers. And I do wonder, when is the
- 11:13Speaker 2: last time we saw eleven police officers turn up to
- 11:17Speaker 2: a house breaking for example.
- 11:19Speaker 3: This is policing in modern Britain.
- 11:22Speaker 6: It seems, oh, absolutely, you can't get one policeman to
- 11:26Speaker 6: turn up to your house if it's been burgled in
- 11:30Speaker 6: most of England and Wales. But yes you can get
- 11:34Speaker 6: your crack squad of eleven policemen, so long as as
- 11:38Speaker 6: in this case, a guy is saying something that is
- 11:41Speaker 6: absolutely true. That Tavistock Clinic scandal and others have been
- 11:47Speaker 6: exposed in reviews. By the way, that's one of the
- 11:49Speaker 6: reasons why I'm opposed to just reviewing everything all the time,
- 11:52Speaker 6: because you publish reviews and it's no good if the
- 11:56Speaker 6: police and others are still stuck in some Dad cliched
- 12:02Speaker 6: idea of.
- 12:03Speaker 1: What is and is not acceptable. If this young man.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Had stood on the streets of London and called for
- 12:12Speaker 6: jihad against the infidels or into fada and much more,
- 12:17Speaker 6: he would have been scott free. In fact, that's the
- 12:20Speaker 6: advice I'd give to him for free. If he finds
- 12:23Speaker 6: himself in this position again, he should immediately shout al wahba,
- 12:27Speaker 6: death of the Infidel. Had you had you had and
- 12:30Speaker 6: they'll say, very nice of you, sir. Please continue on
- 12:33Speaker 6: your way, because the police in London haven't bothered with
- 12:38Speaker 6: the numerous people we have caught on camera doing exactly that.
- 12:42Speaker 6: But your reference rita to that Pride Progress flag or
- 12:48Speaker 6: whatever thing is, it's so telling. Sadik kh Mayor Sadik
- 12:52Speaker 6: Khan was never at the forefront of these rights campaigns
- 12:57Speaker 6: at all, and he says, now, you know, we've got
- 13:00Speaker 6: to be careful of people rolling back these rights. This
- 13:03Speaker 6: is simply politics by another means. Nobody is trying to
- 13:07Speaker 6: roll back gay rights in the UK. Nobody is trying
- 13:11Speaker 6: to roll back lesbian or bisexual rights in the UK.
- 13:16Speaker 6: There has been a very serious and not by any
- 13:19Speaker 6: means wide enough debate about the medicalization of children, including
- 13:24Speaker 6: young gay children would grow up to be gay, basically
- 13:28Speaker 6: being told they're in the wrong bodies and they're actually
- 13:30Speaker 6: a two spirit, two gender, non binary person who should
- 13:34Speaker 6: be given across sex. Foremost, there has been an epidemic
- 13:37Speaker 6: of that, and there has been some public debate about it,
- 13:40Speaker 6: nowhere near enough and nowhere expert enough. But the idea
- 13:45Speaker 6: that questioning that is rolling back rights for sexual minorities
- 13:50Speaker 6: as a whole is preposterous. But it's part of the
- 13:53Speaker 6: playbook that Sadika Khan and others want. It's the same
- 13:55Speaker 6: reason they say, you know, Donald Trump is rolling back
- 13:59Speaker 6: LGBTYA pass rights.
- 14:01Speaker 1: No, none of that is happening.
- 14:04Speaker 6: There is finally a more open discussion about incredibly deleterious.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Effects that some of the drugs that have been.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Given to children, double mastectomies on perfectly healthy young women
- 14:18Speaker 6: have been performed.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yes, that is not rolling back rights.
- 14:21Speaker 6: That is absolutely the sort of discussion we should have
- 14:25Speaker 6: in our societies where the welfare of children should be
- 14:28Speaker 6: of some concern of your authorities. But yes, I mean,
- 14:32Speaker 6: it's just lamentable. And of course anyone who points out
- 14:36Speaker 6: that this is classic two tier policing in the UK
- 14:40Speaker 6: two tier tier and all that can also expect, remember,
- 14:43Speaker 6: because there's always a bit of icing on the cake.
- 14:45Speaker 6: Can expect to be attacked for making the claim that
- 14:48Speaker 6: there is two tier policing, because if we say what
- 14:51Speaker 6: we see with our eyes in footage like that, we're
- 14:54Speaker 6: somehow creating division. I mean, this is the preposterous state
- 14:59Speaker 6: that written that's got into and of course don't forget
- 15:03Speaker 6: it happened under a conservative government as well as under.
- 15:06Speaker 1: The current labor one.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yes, yes, a conservative in name only for many years.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Though sadly, Let's go to Hollywood and they're making there's
- 15:17Speaker 2: another remake. They love these remakes and they're determined to
- 15:21Speaker 2: make another one political. The head of DC Studios, James Gunn,
- 15:25Speaker 2: has confirmed the new Superman will have a political message.
- 15:29Speaker 2: He said, Superman is the story of America, an immigrant
- 15:33Speaker 2: that came from other places and populated the country. Of course,
- 15:37Speaker 2: when you think of Superman, you think of the story
- 15:40Speaker 2: of immigration. Douglas, it seems these studios would rather make
- 15:45Speaker 2: a loss or push their political ideology that actually give
- 15:48Speaker 2: audiences what they want.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I know, I mean, one of the.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Great lessons of the box office in recent years in
- 15:55Speaker 6: the US and elsewhere, is that people want good movies enough.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Look at what Top Gun two, Top Gun Maverick managed
- 16:04Speaker 6: to achieve, basically saved the cinemas in the US when
- 16:09Speaker 6: it came out because it didn't have any of this
- 16:11Speaker 6: bunk and guff. Since then, Disney and other studios have
- 16:17Speaker 6: really unwisely for their own profit margin, if nothing else,
- 16:21Speaker 6: decided to go down this kind of route, maybe everything
- 16:23Speaker 6: about the same boring political pseudo political points. You would
- 16:28Speaker 6: have thought the studios would have learned from the snow
- 16:30Speaker 6: White disaster of the last year, and they should have
- 16:36Speaker 6: realized that, you know, the public don't want to hear
- 16:38Speaker 6: snow White or Superman opinding about how you know they
- 16:43Speaker 6: can be the hero they were meant to be, that
- 16:44Speaker 6: they were born to be against all the odds of
- 16:47Speaker 6: the etc. The patriarchy or whatever.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I suppose.
- 16:51Speaker 6: We should just be grateful that we've only had this
- 16:53Speaker 6: bit of politics shoved down our throats so far about
- 16:56Speaker 6: the new Superman film, and we were kind of lucky
- 16:58Speaker 6: that it's Superman at all. You would have thought by
- 17:01Speaker 6: now the studios were so depleted in the ideas that
- 17:05Speaker 6: we would have had ourselves force fed an ethnically diverse
- 17:10Speaker 6: female superman, and that if you didn't just love that,
- 17:15Speaker 6: then you were obviously the kind of biggot who should
- 17:18Speaker 6: be arrested by as many police officers as a local
- 17:20Speaker 6: force can bring up. But all this stuff is connected.
- 17:23Speaker 6: It's always just this tedious, predictable, juvenile politicking being forced
- 17:31Speaker 6: on us, whether on flags on the streets, whether by
- 17:35Speaker 6: the police, whether by the studios and elsewhere. Just you know,
- 17:38Speaker 6: the police have a job of policing. The authorities should
- 17:42Speaker 6: keep cities clean, and studios and film studios should make
- 17:46Speaker 6: films that we actually want to watch. And you know
- 17:50Speaker 6: that there's a thought for free.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's a good thought.
- 17:55Speaker 2: And I think DC studios have really missed an opportunity here.
- 17:58Speaker 2: They could have gone with a non binary superman. In fact,
- 18:01Speaker 2: call him super ay, because man is a very exclusionary
- 18:05Speaker 2: in itself.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But give a time that will come up with that.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Before you go, Douglas, you wrote a great piece for
- 18:11Speaker 2: The New York Post about Zoran Mamdani, and since that
- 18:15Speaker 2: piece was published last week, more polling has emerged showing
- 18:20Speaker 2: that he is the clear front runner to be the
- 18:22Speaker 2: next mayor of New York City. In this poll you
- 18:26Speaker 2: can see he's leading on forty one percent and head
- 18:29Speaker 2: of Kumo on twenty six and Eric Adams on sixteen.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You lived in New York for several years?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Are New Yorkers really this suicidely stupid?
- 18:41Speaker 1: It's really worrying because.
- 18:44Speaker 6: You can see as polls at that show how man
- 18:47Speaker 6: Danny could easily sneak through, and when you know about
- 18:51Speaker 6: a fifth of New Yorkers actually engage in Meyrill Race votec,
- 18:56Speaker 6: so there are millions of people that simply have been
- 18:59Speaker 6: checked out, and if they remain checked out, then it's
- 19:03Speaker 6: very likely that man Daney would be able to win.
- 19:07Speaker 1: As I said in the piece, there's all sorts of reasons.
- 19:10Speaker 6: To not look forward to that, not least the fact
- 19:14Speaker 6: that he can't do basic math or accounting and can't
- 19:19Speaker 6: read a budget sheet, and that just got exposed the
- 19:21Speaker 6: other day as well, because of course he's promising tens
- 19:24Speaker 6: of millions of dollars to things that turn out not
- 19:26Speaker 6: to actually be in the gift of the city to give.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But there's a lot of.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Reasons he is a totally He's just one of those
- 19:35Speaker 6: politicians who come from absolutely nowhere. He tried to make
- 19:39Speaker 6: it as a rapper for a bit, and then that
- 19:42Speaker 6: didn't work out, so he became a political activist, which
- 19:46Speaker 6: we all know is is very important when you're running
- 19:50Speaker 6: America's biggest city. And now we also find out that
- 19:55Speaker 6: his own resume has been a fraud, and that when
- 19:58Speaker 6: he applied for University Columbia, where his daddy is a professor,
- 20:02Speaker 6: so you would have thought he'd have been issue in.
- 20:04Speaker 1: He applied to Columbia, didn't get in.
- 20:06Speaker 6: But he also said that he was African American, which
- 20:10Speaker 6: is interesting because he only moved to America became said
- 20:14Speaker 6: I think eight years ago or so, he isn't an
- 20:18Speaker 6: African American by any means.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But isn't it interesting? Once again, just as it's the
- 20:24Speaker 1: middle aged.
- 20:24Speaker 6: German Frows who are the ones who are viciously attacking
- 20:32Speaker 6: young ethnic migrants in Germany, And so isn't interesting the
- 20:35Speaker 6: way these things can be turned around? I bet you
- 20:39Speaker 6: that if were a publican have been found to have
- 20:42Speaker 6: claimed falsely.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That they were an African American.
- 20:45Speaker 6: Only a few years ago, not decades and decades ago,
- 20:48Speaker 6: but only a few years ago, I think that person
- 20:50Speaker 6: would have no future in electoral politics.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But oh, it's man Dani and.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Vibes and so on. So it's all forgiven the same
- 20:59Speaker 6: way that Pocahontas Elizabeth Warren. You know, she holds herself
- 21:03Speaker 6: out a Native Indian all her life and gets all
- 21:09Speaker 6: the advantages that got her and then says, oh, whoops, no,
- 21:13Speaker 6: I turn out not to have any Native American blood
- 21:17Speaker 6: at all, But so what again? Total double standards. This
- 21:20Speaker 6: is the stuff that enrages people.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Man Darney was pretending.
- 21:23Speaker 6: It was basically doing a college application blackface only a
- 21:27Speaker 6: few years ago, and that will be accepted as everything
- 21:32Speaker 6: else about him will be accepted. All of the the
- 21:36Speaker 6: biggotrees that he's expressed throughout his short public life so far,
- 21:42Speaker 6: all of the absolute pie in the sky promises for
- 21:46Speaker 6: unfunded promises he's telling young New York because he can
- 21:50Speaker 6: give them. All of this will be forgiven because he's
- 21:52Speaker 6: he's running as a Democrat progressive of course, and of
- 21:56Speaker 6: course actually a socialist democratic democratic socialist. And you know,
- 22:02Speaker 6: it's so pathetic that people would fall for this. I
- 22:06Speaker 6: really hope that the four million also adults in New
- 22:10Speaker 6: York who not engaged in this race start to engage
- 22:14Speaker 6: in it, because there is no reason why New York
- 22:18Speaker 6: should have to have a democratic socialist running it whose
- 22:22Speaker 6: own CV is lamentable, and whose governance of the city
- 22:27Speaker 6: would put yet another stress test on a city that
- 22:31Speaker 6: badly needs to be brought back, and not to chase
- 22:34Speaker 6: successful people out.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Well, if he does win, it's going to be a
- 22:41Speaker 2: godsend for real estate agents in a Florida and Texas
- 22:46Speaker 2: and Tennessee, because the New Yorkers would be fleeing to
- 22:50Speaker 2: those red states. Douglas Murray, thank you so much for
- 22:52Speaker 2: your time.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Tonight, great pleasure. I was always reader. Thank you.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Still to come left, He's losing it, plus lam Karen
- 23:00Speaker 2: Bass tries to stop ice.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Agents from doing their job. It doesn't go well. Kosher
- 23:05Speaker 3: Gator is up next.
- 23:17Speaker 2: You're watching the Reader Panny Show, and it's time for
- 23:20Speaker 2: lefties losing it and sadly, it's abundantly clear that the
- 23:24Speaker 2: deplorable left has hit rock bottom and started digging. These
- 23:29Speaker 2: solar schools are now using the deaths of more than
- 23:32Speaker 2: one hundred Texans, using the deaths of young girls in
- 23:36Speaker 2: a freak flash flood to you guessed it, attack Donald Trump,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and they're willing to lie to do it. It's reprehensible,
- 23:44Speaker 2: it's contemptible, and it's sadly all too predictable.
- 23:49Speaker 8: Here is Rosio o'donald, the Guadalupe River, fifty one missing,
- 23:54Speaker 8: fifty one dad more missing children at a camp.
- 24:01Speaker 9: And you know, when the president guts all of the
- 24:03Speaker 9: early warning systems and the weathering forecast abilities of the government,
- 24:11Speaker 9: these are the results that we're going to start to
- 24:13Speaker 9: see on a daily basis because he's put this country
- 24:17Speaker 9: in so much danger by his horrible, horrible decisions and
- 24:22Speaker 9: this ridiculously immoral bill that he just signed into law
- 24:29Speaker 9: as Republicans cheered, as Republicans cheered, People will die as
- 24:36Speaker 9: a result, and they've started already. Shame on him, Shame
- 24:42Speaker 9: on every GOP sink evan who's listening and following the
- 24:47Speaker 9: disastrous decisions of this mentally incapacitated bous.
- 24:52Speaker 2: No, shame on you, you broken seek a fiend using
- 24:56Speaker 2: the deaths of innocent young children in a natural desire
- 25:00Speaker 2: start to go after Trump. It's a new low for Rosie,
- 25:03Speaker 2: and that's saying something, because she's still pretty.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Low in the past.
- 25:07Speaker 2: This verifiable lie that the National Weather Service was understaffed
- 25:11Speaker 2: due to staff cuts is utter blowny. Indeed, the local
- 25:15Speaker 2: office in Texas was overstaffed at the time. It did
- 25:19Speaker 2: issue multiple warnings, but tragically it wasn't enough.
- 25:23Speaker 3: But Rosie is not alone.
- 25:24Speaker 2: There are sadly quite a few on the left trying
- 25:27Speaker 2: to weaponize this tragedy to attack Donald Trump, and there
- 25:31Speaker 2: are even some celebrating this catastrophic loss of life, including
- 25:35Speaker 2: the loss of children's lives, young girls on a camping
- 25:38Speaker 2: holiday and because why because Texas is a red state
- 25:42Speaker 2: and the victims are mainly white. Here is a former
- 25:46Speaker 2: appointee to a Houston City Board appointed by the Democratic
- 25:51Speaker 2: Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner. Here is Charde Perkins being
- 25:56Speaker 2: a contemptible racist.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Scroll Camp Mystic is a white's only girls Christian camp.
- 26:06Speaker 4: They don't even have a token Asian, they don't have
- 26:08Speaker 4: a token black person. It is a all white, white
- 26:13Speaker 4: only conservative Christian camp. If you ain't white, you ain't right,
- 26:17Speaker 4: you ain't getting in, you ain't going period. And I
- 26:21Speaker 4: think that context needs to be said in this matter
- 26:26Speaker 4: for y'all come at me before y'all start leaving hate
- 26:29Speaker 4: comments on my page about Oh, these are just kids.
- 26:32Speaker 10: And they don't know no better.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Da da Da Da, the parents of these children who
- 26:36Speaker 4: are choosing, and it is a choice in twenty twenty five,
- 26:39Speaker 4: it is definitely a freaking choice to go into East
- 26:44Speaker 4: goddamn Texas and to make a all white enclave.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Of course, she's lying, this is not a whites only camp,
- 26:53Speaker 2: but she feels emboldened to post that callous trash because
- 26:57Speaker 2: there's been very little accountability for race spaces in the
- 27:01Speaker 2: US in recent years, well until very recently. This character
- 27:06Speaker 2: then went on to compare these young girls dying in
- 27:09Speaker 2: a flash flood to illegal immigrants being deported.
- 27:13Speaker 4: They want you to have sympathy for these people. They
- 27:16Speaker 4: want you to get out of your bed and to
- 27:18Speaker 4: come out of your home and to go find these people,
- 27:21Speaker 4: and to donate your money to go find these people. Meanwhile,
- 27:24Speaker 4: they're deporting your family members. Meanwhile they're setting up concentration
- 27:29Speaker 4: camps in prisons for your family members. And I need
- 27:33Speaker 4: you all to keep that in mind before y'all get
- 27:35Speaker 4: out there and put on your rain boots and go find.
- 27:37Speaker 3: These little girls. Honestly, I'm lost for words.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Anybody could be that awful, is well almost beyond belief.
- 27:47Speaker 2: There are still little girls lost. There are still bodies
- 27:50Speaker 2: that have not been identified. And that's the message from
- 27:54Speaker 2: a Democrat appointed Houston City board member. And she was
- 27:58Speaker 2: in that position up until this year. Now do you
- 28:01Speaker 2: think she reconsidered her comments after further thought. No, she
- 28:07Speaker 2: doubled down, and now she's playing the victim.
- 28:10Speaker 4: I don't understand all this, you know, extraordinary hate or whatever.
- 28:13Speaker 10: Like I get that white people are.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Not used to people telling them and calling them out
- 28:18Speaker 4: on the racism and telling them about their double standards
- 28:21Speaker 4: and how you wouldn't give it DMN about other children,
- 28:23Speaker 4: and how there's children in ice attention right now, who
- 28:25Speaker 4: y'all don't give two about. There's no prayers going up
- 28:28Speaker 4: for them, But we're supposed to stop the world and
- 28:31Speaker 4: stop everything we're doing to go and hunt for these
- 28:34Speaker 4: little missing white girls.
- 28:37Speaker 10: Again.
- 28:38Speaker 4: I actually have empathy, so I can put myself in
- 28:41Speaker 4: other people's shoes and understand that that's pretty up. But
- 28:44Speaker 4: it seems like y'all don't get that. Y'all don't get
- 28:47Speaker 4: that y'all don't have the empathy gene for sure.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Yes, you're the one with empathy. I mean, really, she
- 28:55Speaker 2: thinks she's got the empathy gene. And here's another Soulo
- 29:00Speaker 2: school saying she's okay with little girls dying because she
- 29:04Speaker 2: voted the right way.
- 29:06Speaker 3: She voted for the Democrats.
- 29:08Speaker 11: Them little girls, them people died because of racism, not politics. Boom,
- 29:12Speaker 11: I said it, I don't give a f and am
- 29:15Speaker 11: I said no, no, nope, nope, nope no, because more
- 29:20Speaker 11: y T people will have to d I e.
- 29:22Speaker 3: In order for man the what c A R E?
- 29:26Speaker 6: I said?
- 29:26Speaker 11: With the I said, I don't get a in minds
- 29:29Speaker 11: or here with me. We wrote, we voted the correct way.
- 29:33Speaker 11: You reap what you so.
- 29:35Speaker 6: Just the night.
- 29:36Speaker 11: Before the flash flood happened, y'all were okay with being
- 29:40Speaker 11: stripped with neighbor families and never seeing them again. People
- 29:44Speaker 11: being deported, y'all were okay with that. Be okay with
- 29:48Speaker 11: not finding Sarah lu be okay with not finding Billy,
- 29:53Speaker 11: Be okay, We'll never seeing them again.
- 29:56Speaker 2: And here is a another Luer Life saying that if
- 30:00Speaker 2: these Texans voted for Kamala, then the kids would be alive.
- 30:05Speaker 12: It's a hard pill to swallow, huh. The fact that
- 30:07Speaker 12: if you would have just voted for Kamala, that those
- 30:10Speaker 12: kids in Texas and all those families in the RBS
- 30:13Speaker 12: would more than likely still be alive and said, you
- 30:16Speaker 12: just made fun of her laugh while people were screaming
- 30:19Speaker 12: at you that if he was voted in, people were
- 30:21Speaker 12: going to die. And look where we are, a bunch
- 30:24Speaker 12: of parents who can't protect their own.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Kids, parents who can't protect their own kids.
- 30:29Speaker 2: She actually said that how can you adequately describe such ugliness,
- 30:35Speaker 2: such utter depravity, and talking about depravity doesn't get much
- 30:39Speaker 2: worse than this. Have a look at this post from
- 30:42Speaker 2: a pediatrician in Houston, a woman trusted with the health
- 30:46Speaker 2: of young children, who wrote this, my all visitors, children,
- 30:50Speaker 2: non MAGA voters and pets, be safe and dry.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Kerr County.
- 30:56Speaker 2: MAGA voted to you, gut FEMA, they deny climate change.
- 31:01Speaker 3: May they get what they voted for?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Just disgusting stuff there. But doctor Christina B. Propst won't
- 31:09Speaker 2: be practicing in Houston anymore, not at the Houston Heights
- 31:13Speaker 2: clinic she was at anymore.
- 31:14Speaker 3: She's been fired now she should be struck off as
- 31:18Speaker 3: a doctor.
- 31:18Speaker 2: If you ask me, she should check herself into a clinic,
- 31:21Speaker 2: one with a padded room, preferably. And if you want
- 31:24Speaker 2: to know where this hate comes from, where this disinformation
- 31:28Speaker 2: about the National Weather Service and the politicization of a
- 31:32Speaker 2: natural disaster come from. Then, look no further than the
- 31:35Speaker 2: leftist media led by CNN.
- 31:38Speaker 13: The President's megabilt, which he just signed into law, makes
- 31:43Speaker 13: cuts and even closes some weather research labs.
- 31:46Speaker 9: The Austin San Antonio office is missing a warning coordination
- 31:49Speaker 9: meteorologist due to the Trump administration's buyouts.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And I'm going to have a lot more on that,
- 31:55Speaker 2: the fake news narratives pushed by CNN, ABC, MSNBC and
- 32:00Speaker 2: others tomorrow night.
- 32:02Speaker 3: But let's now have a look at the.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Inept mayor of l A, the hopelessly incompetent Karen Bass,
- 32:08Speaker 2: trying to stop ICE agents doing their job.
- 32:13Speaker 14: They need to leave, and they need to leave right now.
- 32:16Speaker 2: They will be leaving soon, she said. And she also
- 32:32Speaker 2: said there that she was talking to the Border Patrol chief.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Guess what he told her.
- 32:37Speaker 2: As reported by Bill muluj and Border Patrol Chief Gregory
- 32:41Speaker 2: Bovino had.
- 32:43Speaker 3: This to say, I don't work for Karen Bass.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Better get used to us now, because this is going
- 32:48Speaker 2: to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere anytime
- 32:53Speaker 2: we want to. In Los Angeles. Let's bring in Sky
- 32:57Speaker 2: News contributor Kosher gator Na Kosher. We will get to
- 33:00Speaker 2: the latest round of tariffs announced by the Trump administration
- 33:03Speaker 2: and what Australia can expect shortly. But first, Democrat mayors
- 33:08Speaker 2: like Karen Bess and some of the governors are talking tough,
- 33:12Speaker 2: but what can.
- 33:13Speaker 3: They do to stop the deportation program.
- 33:16Speaker 10: Their power is diminishing.
- 33:17Speaker 15: It's not gone, and they will fight this to the
- 33:19Speaker 15: bitter end, we can be sure of that, but it
- 33:21Speaker 15: is definitely diminishing.
- 33:22Speaker 10: Because the three or four things that.
- 33:24Speaker 15: Have now all come to bear and they're all having
- 33:27Speaker 15: a confluence. One is the executive orders that Trump issued
- 33:30Speaker 15: day one. It's a national emergency and he's focusing on
- 33:34Speaker 15: the border of what he ran on and went on.
- 33:36Speaker 15: Two is these Scotus rulings, and especially the one that
- 33:39Speaker 15: just came down. It's limiting these activist judges from missioning
- 33:43Speaker 15: nationwide injunctions. They have to curtail the scope of these
- 33:46Speaker 15: orders to just the harmed plaintiff in that case, so
- 33:49Speaker 15: that's helpful. There is a big, beautiful bill it hasn't
- 33:52Speaker 15: been signed yet but soon, which is expanding the funding
- 33:55Speaker 15: for ICE. So now they are very well staffed to
- 33:58Speaker 15: go in there against the likes of Karen Back and
- 34:00Speaker 15: others and to physically you have enough capacity to do that,
- 34:03Speaker 15: and before there's actually legal offensive, the Trump administration is
- 34:07Speaker 15: waging their suing La and Karen Bass as well. I
- 34:10Speaker 15: don't know where those cases will land, but that also
- 34:13Speaker 15: is putting more offensive pressure on them. So I think
- 34:15Speaker 15: they're feeling the heat in a way that they have
- 34:17Speaker 15: not felt for fifty years. And the momentum is definitely
- 34:20Speaker 15: on the side of Ice and Trump.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And it's the optics of this is just terrible. I
- 34:26Speaker 2: think for the Democrats to have the mayor trying to
- 34:29Speaker 2: stop essentially law enforcement from doing its job. When the
- 34:34Speaker 2: Trump administration, whatever side of politics you fall on, it
- 34:38Speaker 2: has a clear mandate to do precisely this. This isn't
- 34:41Speaker 2: a surprise. The campaigned on this and they have a
- 34:45Speaker 2: clear mandate to execute.
- 34:46Speaker 3: It's been these policies.
- 34:47Speaker 15: It's been absolutely the issue that really put Trump into
- 34:51Speaker 15: the political arena as successfully as it did. This is
- 34:54Speaker 15: a signature issue along with trade. But they don't seem
- 34:56Speaker 15: to have gotten the memo because before that, twenty years
- 34:59Speaker 15: ago or so, the other side was still winning where
- 35:02Speaker 15: they were seeing, you know, it's hopeless, and it's not
- 35:04Speaker 15: some bread families and all that stuff, but things have
- 35:06Speaker 15: gotten so bad. It's outrageous when you have thirty, forty,
- 35:09Speaker 15: even fifty million, by some accounts illegals in the country.
- 35:11Speaker 15: The public opinion has completely shifted in fear of this,
- 35:14Speaker 15: but she's still behind.
- 35:16Speaker 2: This is it, And the public opinion has shifted amongst
- 35:19Speaker 2: legal migrants, which is one of the more fascinating polling
- 35:23Speaker 2: numbers showing that the majority of legal migrants back these
- 35:27Speaker 2: immigration policies.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Now to an.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Issue that is causing great debate amongst the right. The
- 35:33Speaker 2: Justice Department and the FBI have concluded they have no
- 35:37Speaker 2: evidence that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was murdered or
- 35:42Speaker 2: that he had a client list. They have released video
- 35:46Speaker 2: that you Ask Me raises more questions than it answers.
- 35:50Speaker 2: The video is missing a full minute Kosher and frankly,
- 35:54Speaker 2: few people are buying the claim that there were no
- 35:57Speaker 2: powerful men who were benefiting from Epstein's activities.
- 36:03Speaker 10: This one.
- 36:04Speaker 15: I think it's surprising a lot of people. I like
- 36:07Speaker 15: Pam Bondi, so it's not to point the finger at her,
- 36:09Speaker 15: but she hasn't helped in this where she came out
- 36:12Speaker 15: on camera a month ago and did this whole thing
- 36:15Speaker 15: with right leaning influencers were invited to the White House
- 36:17Speaker 15: and they were given these binders, which was stuff we
- 36:19Speaker 15: all knew. And then she says, no, no, I'm just
- 36:21Speaker 15: reviewing other documents they're coming out and they haven't and
- 36:24Speaker 15: even people they're.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Also had the least on a desk at one point.
- 36:27Speaker 15: Right, So she's on camera saying this, and then this
- 36:29Speaker 15: is very anti climatic. Cash Betel and Dan Bondin know
- 36:32Speaker 15: these figures that are very popular on the right. They're
- 36:34Speaker 15: all backing this up. So in a void of information,
- 36:38Speaker 15: which is what it is, it will lead to conspiracy
- 36:41Speaker 15: theories which.
- 36:41Speaker 10: May have truth to them, may not have truth to them.
- 36:43Speaker 15: But it's all out there now in the zeitgeist where
- 36:46Speaker 15: people just don't believe that not any of these things
- 36:48Speaker 15: are true, and there's all sorts of things swirling. And
- 36:51Speaker 15: we'll see if this is corrected, if Trump can do
- 36:53Speaker 15: anything with it.
- 36:54Speaker 2: We know powerful men were on that c called lowly
- 36:57Speaker 2: to express We know a number of them made repeated trips.
- 37:03Speaker 3: We know Jeffrey Epstein.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I mean, why is Maxwell in prison if there is
- 37:08Speaker 2: no client list. Who was she trafficking these girls too?
- 37:11Speaker 2: Because she's in prison for trafficking. There are so many
- 37:14Speaker 2: questions and the missing minute out of this video no
- 37:18Speaker 2: clear explanation on why that is the case.
- 37:23Speaker 3: And there was so.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Much time for people within the FBI or the Justice
- 37:28Speaker 2: Department to destroy evidence, and I think again that gives
- 37:32Speaker 2: weight to people who've got conspiracy theories about what really happened.
- 37:36Speaker 10: Have they destroyed evidence?
- 37:37Speaker 15: Is there incompetence where some other agency maybe has the evidence?
- 37:41Speaker 10: Who knows?
- 37:42Speaker 15: Is it that the people on this alleged list are
- 37:45Speaker 15: so powerful globally that they really do wield a lot
- 37:48Speaker 15: of pressure, and that pressure somehow has been brought to bear.
- 37:51Speaker 15: Maybe some of the good guys have skeletons in their
- 37:53Speaker 15: closet that they're being threatened, will come out if they
- 37:56Speaker 15: do this. Hudos, We can come up with things, but
- 37:58Speaker 15: this is this is not helpful because a lot of
- 38:00Speaker 15: people had a lot of hope on transparency and declassification
- 38:03Speaker 15: in this administration, and it is better than past administrations.
- 38:06Speaker 15: But this is a big one and it stinks to
- 38:09Speaker 15: high eavans.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I don't think that can close the case yet. Now
- 38:13Speaker 2: to an issue that we love talking about because we
- 38:17Speaker 2: miss Kamala Harris. She gave us a lot of content,
- 38:20Speaker 2: and apparently there's a new book that reveals she used
- 38:24Speaker 2: profanity to convince dubious Democrat governors to stand with Joe
- 38:29Speaker 2: Biden after that infamous debate performance against Donald Trump. She
- 38:34Speaker 2: reportedly said, this is about saving our effing democracy, and
- 38:39Speaker 2: the comment is revealed in the upcoming book on how
- 38:43Speaker 2: Trump retook the White House and the Democrats lost America Kosher.
- 38:48Speaker 3: It seems Kamala's blue.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Talk there worked because right after the meeting, New York
- 38:53Speaker 2: Governor Kathy Hokul and Minnesota Governor Tim Walls appeared in
- 38:58Speaker 2: the White House driveway and they voiced their full support
- 39:01Speaker 2: for the ailing president.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Fascinating period in American history.
- 39:07Speaker 15: We do miss her, and maybe she did fall out
- 39:09Speaker 15: of that coconut tree talking about her mother saying something
- 39:13Speaker 15: along those lines. I found it hard to believe that
- 39:15Speaker 15: her blue talk is the reason why those two lined
- 39:18Speaker 15: up afterwards. It's probably because they're all about self preservation
- 39:23Speaker 15: and political expediency, and at that point in time they
- 39:26Speaker 15: probably thought the ship hasn't sailed yet. Maybe Lady Macbeth,
- 39:29Speaker 15: as Joe Biden was referred to by many people played
- 39:33Speaker 15: a hand. Who knows what it was, but that was
- 39:34Speaker 15: probably the reason. And then as a tide turned and
- 39:37Speaker 15: people were throwing Joe Biden under the bus when it
- 39:39Speaker 15: was just impossible to ignore, very quickly they and others
- 39:43Speaker 15: shifted the side over to whatever they had to back
- 39:46Speaker 15: at that point.
- 39:47Speaker 2: And you do wonder whether Tim Wools was rewarded. I mean,
- 39:51Speaker 2: there was a few reasons why she selected him, all
- 39:53Speaker 2: of them bad it turned out, but maybe this was
- 39:56Speaker 2: part of it, because heyah, he fell into line very quickly.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Now Donald Trump has published letters to fourteen nations with
- 40:06Speaker 2: tariff deals. Japan and South Korea we'll have a tariff
- 40:10Speaker 2: rate of twenty five percent applied. Other nations will face
- 40:14Speaker 2: higher tariff rates from August one. These include Thailand and
- 40:18Speaker 2: Cambodia with thirty six percent, Serbia and Bangladesh thirty five,
- 40:22Speaker 2: Indonesia thirty two percent, South Africa thirty percent, and Tanisia,
- 40:27Speaker 2: Kazakhstan and Malaysia twenty five percent.
- 40:30Speaker 3: But Kosha, what we want.
- 40:32Speaker 2: To know is when will we know here in Australia
- 40:36Speaker 2: what our long term deal is. We're a close ally
- 40:40Speaker 2: and so far there's been no meeting with our Prime
- 40:43Speaker 2: minister and no long term trade deal negotiated.
- 40:47Speaker 15: It sounds like our Prime minister is being definitely very
- 40:49Speaker 15: reactive rather than proactive here. And so the default, most
- 40:53Speaker 15: likely scenario, I think will be the ten percent be
- 40:56Speaker 15: signed tariff will stand. Australia is not at risk for
- 41:00Speaker 15: reciprocal tariffs because it's one of the few countries that
- 41:02Speaker 15: has a trade surplus with the US. So that's what
- 41:04Speaker 15: all those numbers that you just went through are about.
- 41:07Speaker 15: Because those countries we have huge trade deficits with still
- 41:11Speaker 15: an aluminum supposedly, a fifty percent tariff is on the table.
- 41:15Speaker 15: That's what Trump wants to do because that sector, those
- 41:17Speaker 15: two sectors in particular, are very important to him and
- 41:19Speaker 15: he really wants.
- 41:19Speaker 10: To revive them. It's his voting base.
- 41:22Speaker 15: Last time around, Australia had a carve out for that
- 41:24Speaker 15: and doesn't seem like that's on the table for now,
- 41:27Speaker 15: at least for this one. So I think that's kind
- 41:29Speaker 15: of where we're headed in terms of the impact. I
- 41:32Speaker 15: think the US is maybe five to seven percent of
- 41:35Speaker 15: exports of Australia's It's not a huge thing directly, and
- 41:38Speaker 15: that's probably why alban Easy is kind of playing you
- 41:40Speaker 15: reactionary rather than proactive.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Could we be getting despite the fact that we're one
- 41:45Speaker 2: of the very few countries.
- 41:46Speaker 3: With the trade surplus.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Could we be getting a less than ideal deal because
- 41:52Speaker 2: of our government's reluctance to increase defense spending. We saw
- 41:56Speaker 2: in a NATO Trump said that Spain was the only
- 41:59Speaker 2: country that did not increase spending and they were going
- 42:02Speaker 2: to get a tariff deal that they did not like
- 42:05Speaker 2: they were going to pay one way or another. And
- 42:07Speaker 2: I wonder whether that's in the thinking at all for
- 42:09Speaker 2: the Trump administration when they come to a final figure
- 42:12Speaker 2: for Australia.
- 42:12Speaker 15: It's a good point because in general, that's another one
- 42:15Speaker 15: of Trump's planks, that if the US is underwriting security
- 42:18Speaker 15: for the rest of the world, we want to get
- 42:20Speaker 15: paid for it, so that Australia kind of falls within that.
- 42:23Speaker 15: The other one he keeps pointing to his beef, where
- 42:25Speaker 15: there's stricter standards. It's not direct terrors for the biosecurity
- 42:28Speaker 15: laws over here make it very difficult for the US
- 42:30Speaker 15: to expord beef. And so there's a few sort of
- 42:32Speaker 15: pet pe of issues that the Trump administration has and
- 42:36Speaker 15: if they can't negotiate, I think the default will be
- 42:38Speaker 15: along the lines of what I just said.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And just finally we know the Prime Minister is meeting
- 42:43Speaker 2: with Ji again. Is that a signal to the US
- 42:47Speaker 2: that we are coosing up to China? Perhaps, and we
- 42:50Speaker 2: don't see China as a threat as perhaps the US does.
- 42:54Speaker 15: I think because Australia is in a unique position given
- 42:57Speaker 15: its relationship with the US and with China, where's the
- 42:59Speaker 15: largest partner. And even if we Australia won't be a
- 43:02Speaker 15: direct beneficiary or won't be hit as directly because the
- 43:06Speaker 15: US is a small part of the exports, it will
- 43:08Speaker 15: be indirectly because as the US goes to trade war
- 43:11Speaker 15: with China, China's the biggest importer of Australian goods, there
- 43:15Speaker 15: will be ripple effects around that. And I'm guessing that
- 43:18Speaker 15: that's part of what is in this meeting of signaling
- 43:20Speaker 15: you know, this is a very important trade partner to US.
- 43:23Speaker 10: And Australia is going to strengthen.
- 43:24Speaker 15: That is a way to somehow kind of shift the
- 43:27Speaker 15: power dynamic between the US.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Koshagta, thank you so much for your time. Pleasure still
- 43:32Speaker 3: to come.
- 43:33Speaker 2: We've crossed to Texas to speak with Alex Stein about
- 43:36Speaker 2: the devastating flash flood that has left more than a
- 43:39Speaker 2: hundred day Welcome back, joining me now as Conadian and
- 43:53Speaker 2: host of Prime Time with Alex Stein on Blaze TV. Alex,
- 43:58Speaker 2: I've played footage tonight of some truly reprehensible characters saying
- 44:03Speaker 2: reprehensible things about the deaths of more than one hundred Texans,
- 44:07Speaker 2: including dozens of children, after flash flooding. We've seen a
- 44:12Speaker 2: sick eagerness to weaponize this tragedy to attack Donald Trump,
- 44:16Speaker 2: but also a cruel, callous disregard for human life. Because
- 44:22Speaker 2: that human life happened to be mainly white.
- 44:24Speaker 4: We're supposed to stop the world and stop everything we're
- 44:27Speaker 4: doing to go and hunt for these little miss and
- 44:30Speaker 4: white girls.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Now that's Shade Perkins, Alex.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Are you shocked that even a tragedy like this, a
- 44:37Speaker 2: natural disaster, is fair game for these race bases.
- 44:44Speaker 16: I cannot believe it.
- 44:45Speaker 17: I mean, honestly, I am here in Dallas, Texas and
- 44:49Speaker 17: Jennie Hunt, a nine year old who tragically passed away
- 44:53Speaker 17: in the flooding. Her father and I went to school
- 44:55Speaker 17: together at aleand Parkins. She actually still lives in Harlem
- 44:58Speaker 17: Park and you know would be going to the same
- 44:59Speaker 17: school that I would be going to. And it's just
- 45:01Speaker 17: absolutely sick to see a young nine year old girl
- 45:04Speaker 17: die like this, and you know the pain that it's
- 45:06Speaker 17: caused and the hurt that you know their family is
- 45:09Speaker 17: going through. And to say that it's some sort of
- 45:12Speaker 17: racial thing and that that shouldn't be helped because.
- 45:14Speaker 16: They're white, Like, that's how sick and twisted some people are.
- 45:17Speaker 17: And I mean the victimhood mentality that a person like
- 45:20Speaker 17: that could have by them claiming to be a victim. Basically,
- 45:25Speaker 17: when these tragic children all passed away in a horrific matter,
- 45:30Speaker 17: it's just it's not funny. It's sick and I am
- 45:33Speaker 17: I'm absolutely shocked. This is a bipartisan thing. Nobody wants
- 45:36Speaker 17: children to die and it has nothing to do with race.
- 45:40Speaker 16: It's absolutely terrible.
- 45:43Speaker 3: It's a natural disaster.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I've got footage here showing just how quickly this flood
- 45:48Speaker 2: washed out the road. It took just four minutes for
- 45:53Speaker 2: that massive body of water to move in And I
- 45:58Speaker 2: guess that's why the warnings about this flood did not
- 46:02Speaker 2: result in more lives being saved, because the water just
- 46:06Speaker 2: moved so quickly, and I've got to say, Alex, particularly
- 46:09Speaker 2: upsetting has been this from a pediatrician, doctor Christina B. Propst,
- 46:16Speaker 2: who's now been fired for suggesting that more than one
- 46:19Speaker 2: hundred dead, including children, were President Trump's supporters and so.
- 46:25Speaker 3: They got what they voted for.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Again, Alex, a pediatrician in Houston, Texas. For them to
- 46:32Speaker 2: post this so boldly, it just shows you how divorce
- 46:38Speaker 2: from reality, divorced from decency, some have become.
- 46:43Speaker 17: No, it's incredibly callous. And this camp had been there
- 46:46Speaker 17: for it's going on its one hundredth year. It's had
- 46:47Speaker 17: ninety nine camp sessions, I believe, and so.
- 46:51Speaker 16: This is unpredictable.
- 46:53Speaker 17: They knew the National Weather Service gave them warning, but
- 46:55Speaker 17: there is no warning to know that the ninety minutes
- 46:58Speaker 17: there's going to be you know.
- 46:59Speaker 16: Twelve of water immediately.
- 47:01Speaker 17: So this is just a natural disaster that is absolutely horrible.
- 47:04Speaker 17: But for people to blame it on Trump because they
- 47:07Speaker 17: wanted to try to, you know, use this political theater
- 47:10Speaker 17: to get their point across that they're absolutely sick.
- 47:12Speaker 16: And I'm actually not.
- 47:13Speaker 17: Surprised that it's a doctor, because you know that doctor
- 47:16Speaker 17: is mad and they probably see a lot of loss
- 47:19Speaker 17: of life, so they're desensitized to this, sadly, and it's
- 47:24Speaker 17: just really tragic.
- 47:26Speaker 16: I can't look at it without getting emotional.
- 47:29Speaker 17: And I'm not the type of person to get really emotional,
- 47:31Speaker 17: but just innocent kids like this, a natural disaster at
- 47:34Speaker 17: a camp that's been there nearly one hundred years. Nobody
- 47:36Speaker 17: could have predicted this. And you know, like I said,
- 47:39Speaker 17: I'm friends of the family. They would never put their
- 47:41Speaker 17: kids in harm's way whatsoever. And this was not a
- 47:44Speaker 17: dangerous place.
- 47:45Speaker 16: Just a horrible, horrible, horrible tragic.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, now to something we were told never happens. Fifteen
- 47:55Speaker 2: people have been arrested in Texas, alex for a harvestingle price.
- 48:00Speaker 13: Fifteen people, including a former Texas House candidate and other officials,
- 48:04Speaker 13: have been charged in a state led vote harvesting investigation.
- 48:08Speaker 3: It's our top.
- 48:09Speaker 13: Story this evening. According to Kesat, seven suspects turned themselves
- 48:14Speaker 13: into the Frio County jail yesterday. They include Juan Manuel Medina,
- 48:19Speaker 13: the former Bear County Democratic Party Chair and former San
- 48:23Speaker 13: Antonio mayoral candidate, Petra Davina Travigno, the former mayor of Pearsol,
- 48:28Speaker 13: Mary Ann Obragone, the former mayor of Dilly, among others
- 48:32Speaker 13: also charged to former Texas House candidate Cecilia Castellano. They
- 48:36Speaker 13: are all accused of vote harvesting, two varying degrees.
- 48:41Speaker 2: A few Democrats there, Alex, I haven't seen much national coverage.
- 48:45Speaker 2: That may have been different if there were Republicans. But
- 48:48Speaker 2: it's a significant story. Nevertheless, what else.
- 48:51Speaker 3: Can you tell me?
- 48:53Speaker 16: Very significant? And then left will tell you that no
- 48:55Speaker 16: illegal immigrant has ever voted. Obviously that's a lie.
- 48:57Speaker 17: And when it comes to ballot harvesting, you know, we
- 48:59Speaker 17: can go back to the twenty twenty election and say
- 49:02Speaker 17: what you will about the results. When it came to
- 49:03Speaker 17: in person voting, Donald Trump won all fifty states. When
- 49:07Speaker 17: it came to mail in ballots, Joe Biden won all
- 49:10Speaker 17: fifty states, even the most conservative ones. So because of
- 49:13Speaker 17: this harvesting, because of the ability, and some states were
- 49:15Speaker 17: it was legal to actually pick up people's votes and
- 49:17Speaker 17: go and turn them.
- 49:18Speaker 16: In other states it was totally legal to do this.
- 49:21Speaker 17: So, you know, these people getting caught in Texas, I'm
- 49:23Speaker 17: not surprised. I think the twenty twenty election was a
- 49:25Speaker 17: big indication that this is happening, you know, rampantly across
- 49:29Speaker 17: the country.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Alex Stein, thank you so much for your time tonight,
- 49:35Speaker 2: and that's it for May.
- 49:36Speaker 3: I'll see you to live and tomorrow night. Up next,
- 49:39Speaker 3: it's Newsnight.
