- 2:40Speaker 3: that you're down here in my part of the building.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That's that's that's true. And I'm going to take a
- 2:44Speaker 3: picture and post this here momentarily so people can see
- 2:48Speaker 3: what you have on your head. So those of you
- 2:51Speaker 3: play smile, smile, I don't smile. Okay, all right, that's
- 2:55Speaker 3: that's what And I'll have that post here maybe during
- 2:57Speaker 3: the commercial brace so you can see Rob is wearing
- 2:59Speaker 3: today when you see it.
- 3:00Speaker 6: The hardest thing about this is trying to wear headphones.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Huh.
- 3:05Speaker 6: That's been quite the challenge this morning. Oh the TV
- 3:09Speaker 6: Star TV's My Ambiolic just walked.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Into the sea and contested pictures. Bobby Spry, from one
- 3:16Speaker 3: of our sales weasels Blossom has today and I've been
- 3:18Speaker 3: teasing her relentlessly. Yeah, yes, that's just who. And she's
- 3:22Speaker 3: in here to take pictures of the of this turkey
- 3:24Speaker 3: on your head.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Yes, as I told, as I told Keeso Grande Joe
- 3:29Speaker 6: Parsons this morning. If we're not making a spectacle of ourselves,
- 3:33Speaker 6: why are we doing this?
- 3:35Speaker 3: We started at seven am this morning and just kind
- 3:38Speaker 3: of review. See here on our parking not eleven eleven
- 3:40Speaker 3: Virginia Street's and Charleston one of those two three four
- 3:43Speaker 3: events we do each year when all the stations are involved, KWS,
- 3:47Speaker 3: k Z one one hundred to Mountain the beat. Everybody
- 3:52Speaker 3: is involved in this and what you can do. The
- 3:54Speaker 3: great thing about our parking lot is it's circular, Yes,
- 3:57Speaker 3: so you can pull in literally moved all of our
- 4:00Speaker 3: vehicles off a lot except for the vans and do
- 4:02Speaker 3: have a big giant mountain mission truck out there as well.
- 4:05Speaker 3: You can literally pull into the lot here and make
- 4:08Speaker 3: the circle. You don't even have to get out of
- 4:09Speaker 3: your car. We've got our pilgrims, I mean, can we
- 4:13Speaker 3: say that out there, I don't know what they are.
- 4:15Speaker 7: He'll take that turkey from you, and we'll take your turkey,
- 4:18Speaker 7: We'll take your cash, donations, you know, anything else you
- 4:21Speaker 7: want to give us a mountain mission and those folks
- 4:23Speaker 7: are on hand out here to put it directly into
- 4:24Speaker 7: the truck for you don't even have to get out
- 4:26Speaker 7: of your car.
- 4:27Speaker 3: We started at seven this morning and we're going to
- 4:29Speaker 3: go till six p m. This evening. And I just
- 4:32Speaker 3: stepped outside before I came in to the airchair here.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I mean, like Woody Woods is out there. As I said,
- 4:38Speaker 3: We've got sales weasels out there, the big Boss, Joe
- 4:40Speaker 3: Parsons is out there. So everybody, everybody coming together to
- 4:44Speaker 3: help out those who need this holiday season. But this
- 4:47Speaker 3: was kind of your baby, you know, this is the
- 4:49Speaker 3: second year we've done talk about what went into making
- 4:52Speaker 3: this decision.
- 4:52Speaker 6: So way back when when I was a wee lad,
- 4:55Speaker 6: I grew up in one of those families. The best
- 4:57Speaker 6: way to explain this is Thanksgiving morning, we would go
- 5:00Speaker 6: out turkey hunting, not so much because we wanted to,
- 5:03Speaker 6: but because if we wanted turkey, we had to many
- 5:06Speaker 6: a year picking buckshot out of my turkey at Thanksgiving,
- 5:10Speaker 6: And there were some years that we didn't have turkey
- 5:12Speaker 6: because we didn't bag one. That is a long way
- 5:16Speaker 6: of saying that I know what it's like to be
- 5:19Speaker 6: the kid who doesn't have the turkey on our table
- 5:21Speaker 6: for Thanksgiving, to know that we don't have as much
- 5:25Speaker 6: as others, that we might not have enough to be
- 5:27Speaker 6: able to celebrate, and so to be in the position
- 5:30Speaker 6: that I am being the face for radio what if
- 5:34Speaker 6: we could get turkeys for folks? I know that when
- 5:37Speaker 6: there are food drives, it's usually almost always non perishables.
- 5:41Speaker 6: It's folks getting, whether it's the box stuffing or the
- 5:43Speaker 6: mashed potato mix or the cans of vegetables or you know,
- 5:47Speaker 6: it's not Thanksgiving unless you have the cranberry sauce that
- 5:50Speaker 6: comes out of the can, that comes out and has
- 5:52Speaker 6: the rings around it looks like alpo basically a little
- 5:55Speaker 6: bit well, I mean it's the same sort of can.
- 5:57Speaker 6: So all of those non perishable food items are great
- 6:00Speaker 6: and Mountain Mission putting together baskets and boxes for folks,
- 6:04Speaker 6: But the most expensive part of the meal, on the
- 6:06Speaker 6: hardest part to get donated because of both the cost
- 6:08Speaker 6: and because it's.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Perishable, is the turkey.
- 6:12Speaker 6: So it was, well, why don't we take the Thursday
- 6:14Speaker 6: before Thanksgiving and just see how many folks we can
- 6:18Speaker 6: get to bring us frozen turkeys. I'll uh we call
- 6:21Speaker 6: it the turkey drop because oh yeah, you remember that
- 6:23Speaker 6: w k RP on the Cincinnati with the I swear
- 6:27Speaker 6: I thought turkeys could fly. Yes, that's kind of the
- 6:29Speaker 6: inspiration because a real radio station tried to do that once.
- 6:33Speaker 6: They tried to turkey and it didn't go well. So
- 6:37Speaker 6: we're hoping this goes better than that. Last year we
- 6:40Speaker 6: had a great year, was wonderful to see so many people.
- 6:42Speaker 6: We're looking to get as many turkeys as we can
- 6:45Speaker 6: to get them on tables for folks this holiday.
- 6:47Speaker 3: So that's the whole idea. And again it's going to
- 6:49Speaker 3: be going until six o'clock this evening. And you were
- 6:52Speaker 3: really blessed when you did your walk to Markettown with
- 6:56Speaker 3: the weather not so much today, not so much. I mean,
- 6:59Speaker 3: could be worse. We could be like in Pocahontas County
- 7:02Speaker 3: where they're getting eighteen to twenty inches of snow. We
- 7:04Speaker 3: get some rain and snow mixing. And actually it's not
- 7:07Speaker 3: too bad out there right now other than being cold.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Uh.
- 7:09Speaker 3: But but we're gonna be bundling up out there today.
- 7:12Speaker 6: It will be blustery later today we'll get a wintery mix.
- 7:16Speaker 6: All the pavement in place is probably warm enough in
- 7:18Speaker 6: downtown Charleston that nothing's gonna stick there. Yeah, so you
- 7:21Speaker 6: know you'll get a dusting on the grass, certainly. But yes,
- 7:26Speaker 6: Mountain Mama is giving me payback for all of the
- 7:28Speaker 6: wonderful weather I had. I had two fantastic weeks walking
- 7:32Speaker 6: from Charleston to Morgantown.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And so this is uh, this is this is it
- 7:37Speaker 3: coming due. This is.
- 7:40Speaker 6: This is mister Potter wanting the eight thousand dollars, the scurvy,
- 7:45Speaker 6: a little spider that he is.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's much better for the if you have to pick
- 7:48Speaker 3: and choes not that we can pick and choose the
- 7:50Speaker 3: weather because we can always duck back into building. We
- 7:52Speaker 3: can always grab a cup of coffee, you know, or whatever.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Mountain Plus we got. Plus we've got a whole lot
- 7:56Speaker 3: of people here too.
- 7:57Speaker 6: We can we could, we can do in shifts like
- 7:59Speaker 6: like Hockey Mountain Missions actually got one of those heater
- 8:03Speaker 6: things out there and you know the like they have
- 8:08Speaker 6: on the side.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Okay, well I understand now, and then uh.
- 8:13Speaker 6: I know there's somebody out there like Dave your your
- 8:16Speaker 6: parking line isn't circular, it's ovular. Okay, so fine, it's
- 8:19Speaker 6: an oval. You can still drive in it and you
- 8:21Speaker 6: can be a good egg and drop off a frozen tury.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Geometry was not Yeah, it was not my strong suit.
- 8:26Speaker 6: It's elliptical, and neither one of us has been on
- 8:28Speaker 6: an elliptical.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And I used it to hang clothes on. That's that's
- 8:31Speaker 3: that's what I used. It's exactly so. So so let's
- 8:34Speaker 3: talk about our list yes, sir, because I have said
- 8:37Speaker 3: we have the greatest listeners in the world. And whether
- 8:40Speaker 3: it's the station, your station, any of the stations in
- 8:42Speaker 3: the building, uh, they always come through for us. But
- 8:45Speaker 3: last year when we did the sock drop last year
- 8:48Speaker 3: in January was that January lst we did that. It
- 8:50Speaker 3: was a pretty nasty day that, I mean, we had
- 8:52Speaker 3: to had real snow that between snowstorm, between snowstorms, we
- 8:55Speaker 3: did it and they just came out like you wouldn't believe.
- 9:00Speaker 6: We're fifty five gallon drums full of new socks.
- 9:02Speaker 3: That's what they did, you know, for us to give
- 9:04Speaker 3: to those in need. And I know based I got
- 9:07Speaker 3: to the office as I normally do, around seven thirty
- 9:09Speaker 3: this morning, and of course the tents are all up
- 9:11Speaker 3: out there, and demands are already in place and whatever,
- 9:13Speaker 3: and I already saw people coming in when I went outside,
- 9:16Speaker 3: as I said, right into eight fifty eight to fifty
- 9:18Speaker 3: five or so, just before I came down to the studio,
- 9:21Speaker 3: walked outside and there were like three or four vehicles.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Big shout out to the folks that at the WWK
- 9:27Speaker 3: TV thirteen. They were here filming when I got here.
- 9:30Speaker 3: They're a great partner of ours and we have a
- 9:34Speaker 3: great relationship with them, and they had their photog out
- 9:36Speaker 3: here doing and I think they're going to do a
- 9:37Speaker 3: live shot from here, which helps us out a little
- 9:39Speaker 3: bit so. But but again the bottom line is this
- 9:43Speaker 3: is kind of Rob's idea. It started on a KWS thing,
- 9:46Speaker 3: but then it's kind of gone throughout the building. We're
- 9:48Speaker 3: all out there. As I said, the general manager, Joe Parsons,
- 9:51Speaker 3: was out there this morning taking donations. This is this
- 9:55Speaker 3: is a great thing that you can do to help out.
- 9:57Speaker 3: And look, if you can't afford a turkey, that's okay.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Just we'll take a cash donation. And you know, we'd
- 10:03Speaker 3: like for it to be you know, a substantial obviously,
- 10:06Speaker 3: but you got two bucks, we'll take it. We're not
- 10:08Speaker 3: gonna turn you away. You know, if you've got two
- 10:10Speaker 3: or three bucks, we can put it with another two
- 10:12Speaker 3: or three bucks and eventually.
- 10:13Speaker 6: It start stacking up. It becomes real money. Yeah, air quotes,
- 10:16Speaker 6: I talk about couch cushions and cup holders. And I've
- 10:20Speaker 6: just said before, I've lived in seventeen states. I've lived
- 10:23Speaker 6: in three other countries. I came back to West Virginia
- 10:26Speaker 6: for a reason. It's because I know how much the
- 10:29Speaker 6: people here embrace helping our friends and neighbors. And it
- 10:33Speaker 6: is amazing to me that the folks who are who
- 10:35Speaker 6: are just a step above getting by and putting a
- 10:38Speaker 6: turkey on their own table, are the folks who come
- 10:40Speaker 6: across with another turkey for another family to do because
- 10:44Speaker 6: they're like I've been there, I know what it's like
- 10:46Speaker 6: the kids shouldn't be crying on Thanksgiving because we don't
- 10:49Speaker 6: have a turkey.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah, you're gonna have a turkey. We're gonna make sure
- 10:51Speaker 3: of that. To Dave Allen showing five any live broad
- 10:53Speaker 3: to part bagger hometown baseball team, the Charleston Dirty Birds.
- 10:56Speaker 3: The Birds and Selango Law continue with Slanglo laws Light
- 10:59Speaker 3: the Night every night except Christmas Night through New Year's
- 11:02Speaker 3: Night at the Gomart Ballpark. Details available on Facebook or
- 11:06Speaker 3: more importantly, get your tickets ahead of time Dblightthnight dot coms.
- 11:09Speaker 3: And I also want to throw this out there, big
- 11:11Speaker 3: shout outs to folks at Chick fil A because they
- 11:13Speaker 3: gave us a whole big old couple of handfuls of
- 11:17Speaker 3: coupons for breakfast sandwiches. So while supplies last, if you
- 11:20Speaker 3: come down here and you give us a donation of
- 11:22Speaker 3: a turkey, cash donation or whatever, we're going to give
- 11:25Speaker 3: you a coupon courtesy of Tom Men turned into folks
- 11:28Speaker 3: at Chick fil A that you can also get yourself
- 11:30Speaker 3: a free breakfast sandwich as well. If our lawyers are.
- 11:32Speaker 6: Listening, if you make the donation to Mountain Mission, yes.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yes, I just I'm going to being that guy for
- 11:39Speaker 3: a second cover the basis man exactly.
- 11:41Speaker 6: So yeah, I would love to see as many people
- 11:43Speaker 6: as possible today. And I know the weather's going to
- 11:45Speaker 6: be kind of crummy, so.
- 11:47Speaker 3: You don't have to get out of your car. No,
- 11:49Speaker 3: we had a text here, says Dave Kroger has turkey
- 11:52Speaker 3: seventy nine cents a pound with a twenty five dollars purchase.
- 11:55Speaker 3: So there you go. I mean, so you're we've had
- 11:58Speaker 3: you on.
- 11:59Speaker 6: The fence thinking about that, and you're like, I gotta
- 12:01Speaker 6: go get my stuff for next week anyway, So you're
- 12:03Speaker 6: already going to spend more than twenty five bucks getting
- 12:05Speaker 6: your own turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravies
- 12:09Speaker 6: and the gams and the green beans for the cast right.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Stop just stop right there, yits.
- 12:16Speaker 6: So as you get all that at seventy nine cents
- 12:18Speaker 6: a pound, you can maybe afford one other turkey and
- 12:22Speaker 6: bring it to us. If you can afford two, that's
- 12:24Speaker 6: even better. Ten however many you can. I don't know
- 12:28Speaker 6: what your budget's like, but I know the desire for
- 12:31Speaker 6: West Virginians to help West Virginia exactly.
- 12:33Speaker 3: And also before we let you go. I do want
- 12:35Speaker 3: to give a big shout out to Johnny Rutherford and
- 12:37Speaker 3: the folks of Metro nine to one one because Josh Rjr.
- 12:40Speaker 3: He called me a couple of days ago and he said, look,
- 12:42Speaker 3: we want to make a donation, and I think it
- 12:44Speaker 3: was like seven hundred and I think or something like
- 12:45Speaker 3: seven seven fifty. I'm just gonna keep raising that. Thank
- 12:48Speaker 3: you for the four thousand dollars donation now I think
- 12:50Speaker 3: it was seven or seven fifty is that they said about.
- 12:53Speaker 3: And that was from the employees of Metro nine to
- 12:56Speaker 3: one one that they went in on that and John
- 12:58Speaker 3: also challenge all of the other agencies in the area,
- 13:02Speaker 3: similar type agencies, if they would like to ask their
- 13:05Speaker 3: employees if they would like to make some donations as well.
- 13:08Speaker 3: So John's supposed to stop by I think around eleven
- 13:10Speaker 3: or so this morning, and we're going to do a
- 13:13Speaker 3: little photo op with him. But that's not why we're
- 13:14Speaker 3: doing it, because I've known John for a long time.
- 13:17Speaker 3: He and the folks there at Metro nine to one one,
- 13:19Speaker 3: they do awesome work and they believe in giving back
- 13:21Speaker 3: to the community.
- 13:22Speaker 6: They are the ones doing the most to help our
- 13:24Speaker 6: friends and neighbors to keep us safe and healthy. And
- 13:27Speaker 6: yet here they are stepping up and doing even more.
- 13:30Speaker 6: That's that's what being the West Virginian is all about,
- 13:33Speaker 6: right there.
- 13:33Speaker 3: All right, So it's going on until uh six o'clock
- 13:36Speaker 3: this evening. Don't even have to get out of your car.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Just come in thee what do you call it? The
- 13:42Speaker 3: ovularular parks. Just just make a show up at the
- 13:47Speaker 3: dang parking lot. It's loopy like me. And well, yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 3: you're gonna see the pictures. I post a little bit
- 13:53Speaker 3: later on about this this turkey you have on. You
- 13:55Speaker 3: don't be walking by Chris Lawrence with that okay that
- 13:58Speaker 3: I already asked please don't. Yeah, yeah again. I mean
- 14:01Speaker 3: Lawrence is looking for a reason to put to put
- 14:03Speaker 3: a hole in a critter at any opportunity that he
- 14:05Speaker 3: can get. But Rob, I appreciate it again. This was
- 14:08Speaker 3: kind of Rob's idea. You brought this here. We appreciate
- 14:10Speaker 3: you doing it until six o'clock this evening, Honor parking
- 14:13Speaker 3: lot here helping out the folks at Mountain Mission. Big
- 14:15Speaker 3: shout out to Cosmel Express as well for helping us out.
- 14:18Speaker 3: I appreciate you being here. Man I'll be out there
- 14:19Speaker 3: with you, freezing my giblets off a little bit later
- 14:23Speaker 3: on with you as well. We'll see you soon, all right,
- 14:25Speaker 3: Rob Real for her sister station ninety six one KWS
- 14:28Speaker 3: and again we're gonna check in out like so, we're
- 14:30Speaker 3: gonna go live to the parking lot with the woody woods,
- 14:33Speaker 3: I think for the beat a little bit later on
- 14:34Speaker 3: in the show. This is going on until six o'clock tonight. Folks,
- 14:39Speaker 3: your opportunity to help us out. Thank you so much.
- 14:42Speaker 3: In a big shout out to the folks at Mountain
- 14:43Speaker 3: Mission as well. But Dave Allen Show and five any

- 17:50Speaker 3: Good morning, welcome to the show and happy Turkey Drop Day.
- 17:54Speaker 10: Oh, thank you so much. Good morning Dave.
- 17:56Speaker 3: How are you today? Doing fine? Thank you so much? Now,
- 17:58Speaker 3: you guys, I was telling you when I set up
- 18:01Speaker 3: the interview, I said that you'd be on on a
- 18:04Speaker 3: special day because it's Turkey Drop Day. Here WVRC media Charleston.
- 18:07Speaker 3: But you guys are also doing some great things for
- 18:10Speaker 3: the holiday season. I'll give you a minute to talk
- 18:12Speaker 3: about what you folks are doing.
- 18:14Speaker 10: We do. We do a project Thankful for our students.
- 18:17Speaker 10: Any of our students can sign up. This year, we
- 18:19Speaker 10: had thirty seven different families sign up, and the other
- 18:24Speaker 10: students and faculty and staff adopt those families and provide
- 18:27Speaker 10: Thanksgiving dinner for them. It's really a lot of fun.
- 18:30Speaker 10: We run it through our Nest, which is the food
- 18:33Speaker 10: pantry here on campus, so that students, no matter what,
- 18:37Speaker 10: can have a happy Thanksgiving.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Indeed, last time I had you on, you were promoting
- 18:42Speaker 3: your purse bingo. That happened last week. How did that go?
- 18:46Speaker 11: It was terrific.
- 18:46Speaker 10: We raised nine thousand dollars for our Student Opportunity Fund,
- 18:50Speaker 10: which is our fund that we have through our foundation
- 18:54Speaker 10: so that students who have some unexpected expense can help
- 18:57Speaker 10: get those covered. One of the things we talk about
- 18:59Speaker 10: is that students could be a flat tire away from
- 19:02Speaker 10: having to drop out of school, and we really don't
- 19:04Speaker 10: want that. So we use philanthropy as an opportunity to
- 19:07Speaker 10: be able to help keep people connected to the college
- 19:10Speaker 10: and have that Opportunity Fund that we raise money for
- 19:12Speaker 10: pretty regularly, so that we have money so that we
- 19:15Speaker 10: can help families with emergencies as those arise.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And doctor Sachs, I think it's very important to point out,
- 19:20Speaker 3: as you said you every time I have you on
- 19:22Speaker 3: use that term that the student could be a flat
- 19:24Speaker 3: tire away or a dead battery or whatever the case
- 19:26Speaker 3: may be, from not gonna say completing their education, but
- 19:30Speaker 3: putting a little monkey wrench into the thing. And I
- 19:32Speaker 3: think with an institution like Bridge Valley, you probably see
- 19:35Speaker 3: a little bit more of that because you don't always
- 19:37Speaker 3: have the quote unquote traditional students that are at Bridge Valley.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Sometimes you get some older folks and folks that are
- 19:43Speaker 3: changing careers, and you have a wide range of students
- 19:46Speaker 3: that you serve at Bridge Valley.
- 19:48Speaker 10: That's true. Bridge Valley really is for everyone. Our average
- 19:51Speaker 10: age is thirty. A whole bunch of our students are
- 19:55Speaker 10: single parents. So we do see a few different needs
- 19:59Speaker 10: for our community than you might see for a traditional
- 20:02Speaker 10: eighteen year old eighteen year old college student.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Talking to you know, with doctor Casey Sacks of Bridge Valley,
- 20:07Speaker 3: I'll remind you that West virgin enriched in collaboration with
- 20:09Speaker 3: Huntington invite you to witness transformative power Special Olympics. Take
- 20:13Speaker 3: a few moments to be inspired to join the collective
- 20:15Speaker 3: effort to make it a difference, not just a story.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It's a movement of hope, inclusivity, and trying for reminded
- 20:19Speaker 3: and solve. Every individual deserves a chance to shine at
- 20:22Speaker 3: West Virginia and beyond. Huntington is truly making a difference
- 20:25Speaker 3: right here at home. Check out a video highlighting the
- 20:27Speaker 3: Special Olympics Facebook dot com, slash five eightwcchs Now with
- 20:31Speaker 3: all this other stuff you got going on, doctor, you're
- 20:33Speaker 3: now taking blood.
- 20:35Speaker 2: So to speak.
- 20:36Speaker 10: We are so once the semester we partner with bond
- 20:39Speaker 10: fees and do a blood drive so that our students,
- 20:41Speaker 10: faculty and staff can I'll give blood right here on campus.
- 20:45Speaker 10: We always have terrific participation, and I actually think one
- 20:48Speaker 10: of the reasons is that to qualify for state financial aid,
- 20:51Speaker 10: our students have to do some community service, and giving
- 20:54Speaker 10: blood counts as community service. So we really try and
- 20:57Speaker 10: make it easy. We want to promote it. It's one
- 20:59Speaker 10: of those things that we never know which one of
- 21:01Speaker 10: us is going to need blood or who's going to
- 21:03Speaker 10: have an emergency and need that and their families or
- 21:06Speaker 10: in their own lives, and so it's something we really
- 21:08Speaker 10: like to promote here on campus.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and so if you get an out and when
- 21:11Speaker 3: was it again, I'm sorry I was thinking out loud
- 21:13Speaker 3: to miss that.
- 21:15Speaker 10: Our blood drive was on Tuesday.
- 21:17Speaker 3: It was on Tuesday.
- 21:18Speaker 10: Enjoyed every semester, So make sure to give you more
- 21:21Speaker 10: notice next time, Gabe.
- 21:22Speaker 3: All right, all right, And here's the thing about what
- 21:24Speaker 3: I've done a lot of work in my career with
- 21:25Speaker 3: folks with their Red Cross and different blood drives and
- 21:28Speaker 3: so on and so forth. Sometimes during the holiday season,
- 21:31Speaker 3: you know, people are running back and forth. They're thinking
- 21:33Speaker 3: taking care of Thanksgiving. They're thinking, you know, Turkeys and
- 21:36Speaker 3: Christmas and New Year's and all of the suffen the
- 21:39Speaker 3: office parties and all this stuff that goes on with it.
- 21:41Speaker 3: That kind of gets put on the back burner sometimes.
- 21:43Speaker 3: So always make sure that you get out there and
- 21:46Speaker 3: you're giving blood. You get some open houses or you've
- 21:49Speaker 3: had some open houses going on, talk about that both.
- 21:52Speaker 10: We have had open houses all week and continue into
- 21:55Speaker 10: next weekend, even into January. We're really gearing up for
- 21:59Speaker 10: the spring semester and want to encourage people if you're
- 22:02Speaker 10: thinking about a career change or thinking that you want
- 22:04Speaker 10: some additional education, there's no time like the present, and
- 22:07Speaker 10: so we've been really intentional. Building two thousand, the big
- 22:11Speaker 10: building up on the hill at the Tech Park is
- 22:13Speaker 10: where most of our health science programs are, so we
- 22:15Speaker 10: do special open houses for health science and that building.
- 22:19Speaker 10: More of the manufacturing engineering related programs are in Toyota
- 22:23Speaker 10: Hall down a little bit farther on the hill at
- 22:25Speaker 10: the Tech Park, and then we have a few specialized
- 22:27Speaker 10: programs in Montgomery. We do a diesel program, in HVAC program,
- 22:31Speaker 10: alignment program, CDL training, all in Montgomery. So we do
- 22:34Speaker 10: specialized open houses in each location. And so depending on
- 22:38Speaker 10: what's of interest to you, certainly you could come to
- 22:41Speaker 10: any open house, but maybe pick the site that best
- 22:45Speaker 10: fits your interests and come check us out.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Indeed, before we let you go, I want to talk
- 22:50Speaker 3: about the WIN Academy a lot of the wi in Academy.
- 22:53Speaker 3: For those that may be listening to you, doctor Sachs
- 22:55Speaker 3: for the first time, what exactly is the WIN Academy
- 22:58Speaker 3: And now you're signing up for people for spring, right.
- 23:01Speaker 10: So the Win Academy is a public high school. It's
- 23:03Speaker 10: for students who are in eleventh and twelfth grade who
- 23:06Speaker 10: are ready to start community college while they're in high school.
- 23:09Speaker 10: And so it is geared towards nursing and manufacturing. And
- 23:13Speaker 10: we take high school students and we start them on
- 23:16Speaker 10: a program of study that's really specific for one of
- 23:19Speaker 10: those degree program areas. And we picked those because there's
- 23:22Speaker 10: such huge workforce demands. So we work backwards to support
- 23:25Speaker 10: our industry partners and are trying to get people into
- 23:28Speaker 10: the workforce sooner. So if you have a student who's
- 23:31Speaker 10: in high school who feels like, gosh, I really am
- 23:33Speaker 10: ready for something different, sign them up. It's a really
- 23:36Speaker 10: terrific opportunity. You can earn sixty credit hours while you're
- 23:39Speaker 10: still in high school, completely free to your family.
- 23:42Speaker 3: All right, can't beat that. Also, Yeah, the Fame program.
- 23:46Speaker 3: We want to talk about the Fame program.
- 23:48Speaker 10: Yeah, thanks for asking, Dave. So, fame is we love
- 23:51Speaker 10: acronyms in higher education. Indeed, the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing
- 23:57Speaker 10: Education it was something that Toyota started and they they
- 24:00Speaker 10: started it because what they saw was that manufacturers were
- 24:03Speaker 10: stealing each other's talent. And rather than steal each other's talent,
- 24:06Speaker 10: they wanted to grow the entire group of people who
- 24:09Speaker 10: could work in manufacturing. So they started Fame And what
- 24:12Speaker 10: it is is they chose Bridge Valley as their education partner.
- 24:17Speaker 10: So students come to work at one of the manufacturers
- 24:20Speaker 10: who's in the consortium three days a week. They come
- 24:23Speaker 10: to Bridge Valley two days a week for their related education.
- 24:26Speaker 10: They get paid while they're working with their manufacturer, and
- 24:29Speaker 10: then once they graduate, they can either continue working for
- 24:32Speaker 10: their employer, or they can decide that they want a
- 24:35Speaker 10: different employer, and they'll apply for jobs like anybody else.
- 24:38Speaker 10: But most of our students decide to stay with whoever
- 24:40Speaker 10: it is they worked for in college because they already
- 24:43Speaker 10: know the culture and they already know the job. But
- 24:45Speaker 10: it's a terrific way to get people immediately working in
- 24:49Speaker 10: the industry where they're going to school. And it's a
- 24:51Speaker 10: terrific partnership with those businesses, and those applications are open
- 24:55Speaker 10: right now. They do interviews throughout the spring semester, and
- 24:58Speaker 10: then students will start in the fall of twenty five.
- 25:01Speaker 3: All right, doctor Casey Sacks a Bridge Valley always a
- 25:04Speaker 3: lot going on before I let you go totally unrelated
- 25:06Speaker 3: to higher education. Give me your favorite thing on the
- 25:10Speaker 3: Thanksgiving menu for you.
- 25:12Speaker 10: Cranberries, for sure.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Cranberry cranberries. You don't get that a whole lot from people.
- 25:17Speaker 10: Yeah, they're so good. They're really tart and sweet at
- 25:20Speaker 10: the same time. It's like candy. But that's maybe a
- 25:22Speaker 10: little bit better for you than candy.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Okay, all right, give us the website to where people
- 25:26Speaker 3: want more information about Bridge Valley.
- 25:28Speaker 10: It's Bridge Valley dot edu.
- 25:29Speaker 3: All right, doctor Casey Sacks a Bridge Valley. I appreciate
- 25:31Speaker 3: you being here. We'll talk again soon. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
- 25:34Speaker 3: We'll talk to you sometime during the month of December.
- 25:36Speaker 10: Thank you so much.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Dave dow To Casey Sachs a Bridge Valley. I've asked,
- 25:40Speaker 3: you know, from time to time, I'll ask people what
- 25:42Speaker 3: their favorite party should best Rob, But with radio people,
- 25:46Speaker 3: you know, what's your favorite part of Thanksgiving? It's well,
- 25:48Speaker 3: whatever's on my plate. That's the way I mean. I
- 25:51Speaker 3: should have probably have asked Rob about that. Maybe I'll
- 25:53Speaker 3: text him during the break and asking some sure's back
- 25:55Speaker 3: out on the parking lot lot right now for turkey drop.
- 25:57Speaker 3: But what is his favorite part. I've never I don't
- 25:59Speaker 3: know that when I've asked people that I've ever had
- 26:01Speaker 3: anybody say Cranberry's but hey, you know it's all good.
- 26:06Speaker 3: But Dave Island showing five any Live brought to you

- 26:41Speaker 3: school consolidations and why it is that more parents are
- 26:44Speaker 3: choosing options other than public schools for their kids education,
- 26:48Speaker 3: be it private, be it charter, be at home schools, whatever.
- 26:51Speaker 3: So Michelle Blatt and Hobby will get into that a
- 26:53Speaker 3: couple of dudes from Fox News Radio a on this morning,
- 26:56Speaker 3: Jared Halpert and Ryan Schmels talking about the Trump nominees
- 27:00Speaker 3: and also the Biden nominees. And you're thinking, well, what
- 27:02Speaker 3: are Biden nominees? Well, mister, mister, well he's still a mister.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I guess President Biden has got some possible judicial nominees
- 27:11Speaker 3: to make on the way out the door. So Jared
- 27:13Speaker 3: and Ryan of Fox News Radio will be on with
- 27:15Speaker 3: Hobby to talk about that. Everybody talking about snow not
- 27:18Speaker 3: so much here in the Kanaal Valley, all right, folks,
- 27:22Speaker 3: to just calm down a little bit on that matter
- 27:24Speaker 3: of fact, As I said on the show a couple
- 27:25Speaker 3: of days ago, with what we're gonna have later this
- 27:28Speaker 3: afternoon into the overnight hours come January February, you're gonna
- 27:31Speaker 3: think this is nothing because it's not a big deal,
- 27:33Speaker 3: but it is when you have the first one of
- 27:35Speaker 3: the season. So you are going to see some snowflakes
- 27:37Speaker 3: flying here in the Kanawl Valley later today, possibly mixing
- 27:41Speaker 3: with some rain, a little accumulation on the grass. They're saying,
- 27:44Speaker 3: it's pretty much it for us. So if you're waiting
- 27:46Speaker 3: on the big snowstorm for the valley. This ain't it? However,
- 27:50Speaker 3: a different story if you live in places like Randolph
- 27:53Speaker 3: or Pocahontas County, Webster County, portions of Greenbrier County, Tucker County,
- 27:56Speaker 3: those areas they're gonna get hammered eighteen to twenty inches
- 27:59Speaker 3: or so. Simone Lewis from the National Weather Service will
- 28:02Speaker 3: be on to talk about that with Hoppy and More
- 28:04Speaker 3: and your calls and texture always welcome to Hoppy church
- 28:07Speaker 3: Will Metro News talk Line TENO was six from the
- 28:08Speaker 3: Cove Insurance Studios in the Dale Miller Building in Morgantown.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Text this actually came in yesterday on the show. Says
- 28:15Speaker 3: I think Dave voted for Trump, but says he didn't,
- 28:19Speaker 3: so we still has a sense of non cult loverness
- 28:21Speaker 3: to his moderate or left listeners. Look, I gave everyone
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'll be you asked, but I host the show my
- 28:30Speaker 3: opinion on former President Trump. Before I voted for President
- 28:34Speaker 3: Trump in twenty sixteen, I voted for President Trump in
- 28:36Speaker 3: twenty twenty. I did not this time around. But he's
- 28:41Speaker 3: a president of the United States and I'm I'm not
- 28:43Speaker 3: a Trump hater. I just I disagree with him on
- 28:47Speaker 3: some not so much policies, but just the way he
- 28:49Speaker 3: conducts himself. And that's not going to change. However, Donald
- 28:51Speaker 3: Trump is a president of the United States, and I
- 28:54Speaker 3: will not be one of those people as I said
- 28:56Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago that says, that's not my president. No,
- 28:58Speaker 3: Donald Trump is my pre and I wish him and
- 29:01Speaker 3: I wish the country the absolute best, because I just
- 29:04Speaker 3: the kind of guy. But Dave Alan showing five and
- 29:07Speaker 3: he livee brought to you by Morgan to Morgan more
- 29:09Speaker 3: than twenty billion dollars recovered. They believe when you're injured,
- 29:12Speaker 3: you deserve more. Morgan to Morgan, America's largest injury law firm.
- 29:15Speaker 3: We're gonna go back out live to the parking lot
- 29:18Speaker 3: a little bit later on for Turkey Drop as it
- 29:20Speaker 3: continues for Mountain Mission on our facility parking lot here
- 29:24Speaker 3: eleven eleven Virginia Street East in Charleston, and we're gonna
- 29:28Speaker 3: tell I think we're going to try to touch base
- 29:30Speaker 3: with what he woulds from the beat Live on the
- 29:32Speaker 3: parking lot coming up a little bit later on as
- 29:34Speaker 3: we're doing Turkey Drops. Started at seven this morning, goes
- 29:36Speaker 3: till six p m. This evening collecting frozen turkeys to
- 29:40Speaker 3: give to Mountain Mission and any cash donations you want

- 29:47Speaker 3: a free coupon Curtesy of Chick fil A for a
- 29:50Speaker 3: free Chick fil A breakfast sandwich. While we're talking about food,
- 29:54Speaker 3: our friends across the hall here at V one hundred,
- 29:56Speaker 3: Logan Scott has really been adding it up along Stephen Jenny.
- 30:01Speaker 3: This is a whole Thanksgiving recipe contests. So we're going
- 30:05Speaker 3: to talk to Logan when we come back right after this.

- 42:16Speaker 3: twenty minutes, But how are things going right now? Bum?
- 42:19Speaker 5: Hey day they coming through. My brother, you know, we
- 42:21Speaker 5: looking for about a thousand turkeys. And what's the big
- 42:24Speaker 5: thing about this. We always talk about non perishonal food
- 42:27Speaker 5: items and we know they need those, but the biggest
- 42:30Speaker 5: thing on the table, Dave, it's the turkey. If you
- 42:33Speaker 5: wake up Thanksgiving or Christmas and you ain't got a turkey,
- 42:36Speaker 5: you probably don't have a great holiday. So that's what
- 42:38Speaker 5: we're looking for. And the best thing. I was talking
- 42:40Speaker 5: to Joon Roberts with the mount Mission. If you want
- 42:43Speaker 5: to drop off cash, he can make ten dollars turn
- 42:46Speaker 5: into forty dollars. I told him, let's go to the

- 42:50Speaker 5: can stress that out with the partners like Bigley, Tickley
- 42:53Speaker 5: Whitney and the partners they have. So they coming through, David,
- 42:56Speaker 5: everybody come through. Check this out. We got free tick
- 42:59Speaker 5: for Lane. How about free chick fil A?
- 43:02Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, I got you. I got free chick fil A. Yeah,
- 43:08Speaker 3: we talked about that a little bit earlier. Yeah, free
- 43:12Speaker 3: chick fil a, Woodrow, free chick fil A. That's it.
- 43:16Speaker 3: So let's talk about I mean, and I say this
- 43:18Speaker 3: every time, and Rob and I talked about this top
- 43:20Speaker 3: of the show. Well, let's talk about the listeners of
- 43:22Speaker 3: wv RC media.
- 43:23Speaker 5: Uh.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I mean, you've been around a lot longer than than
- 43:26Speaker 3: a lot of us here. You know, we got the
- 43:27Speaker 3: greatest listeners in the world.
- 43:29Speaker 5: My friend, I always say, it's not about me or you,
- 43:34Speaker 5: is about us. Will we get us together? Will we
- 43:36Speaker 5: just put the us together? We put everything aside, and
- 43:40Speaker 5: when us come together, that's how we can raise a
- 43:43Speaker 5: thousand testes. That's how we can make sure that my
- 43:45Speaker 5: mission go for one hundred years. I don't know if
- 43:47Speaker 5: you know, they've been serving our valley for ninety eight years.
- 43:50Speaker 5: They've been serving the valley for ninety eight years. It
- 43:53Speaker 5: comes from us, not me or you. But once we
- 43:56Speaker 5: pull us together. And I was telling John Roberts, listen
- 43:59Speaker 5: to this, brother, Hey, we because a lot of people
- 44:02Speaker 5: like thinking a thousand turkeys, that's a lot of turkeys. Butudy,
- 44:04Speaker 5: but think about the Canan River when it gets low
- 44:07Speaker 5: and when it gets high, it takes a couple of raindrops.
- 44:09Speaker 5: That said, a lot of rain drops, A few rain
- 44:11Speaker 5: drops here, and the river ride. So that's what we're

- 44:31Speaker 5: Somebody matching, Dave, you got the richest listeners in the world.
- 44:35Speaker 5: You know what I'm gonna call out, mister Riggs. I'm
- 44:37Speaker 5: gonna call out Mark Ridgs. Hey, mister Riggs brings out
- 44:40Speaker 5: because Ridgs love your show, Like he told me yesterday
- 44:42Speaker 5: we went to lump Sesss that he loved listen to

- 45:07Speaker 3: Go ahead, put him on, man, put him on, Put

- 45:21Speaker 3: eye on Woodrow out there in the parking lot.
- 45:23Speaker 17: Hey, somebody's got to do that. I'm gonna pull overtime.
- 45:26Speaker 17: Keep an eye on here.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Look, I just uh, I just told the listeners here
- 45:30Speaker 3: that we uh, I got a check from Bobby Spry
- 45:33Speaker 3: out on the parking lot. So they have people coming
- 45:35Speaker 3: at ten o'clock rand a one thousand dollars check. Man,
- 45:37Speaker 3: that's pretty cool.
- 45:39Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah, we're excited about that. He was going to
- 45:41Speaker 17: load up one thousand dollars worth of turkeys, and he thought, well,
- 45:45Speaker 17: I can take that thousand dollars gift to them and
- 45:47Speaker 17: they can maybe buy, you know, twelve thirteen hundred dollars
- 45:51Speaker 17: worth of turkey. So that's what he's going to do.
- 45:53Speaker 17: And Daryl Rolston Rolston Associates, he's a commercial real estate agent.
- 45:58Speaker 17: Uh and actually he's on our board of directors. So
- 46:01Speaker 17: we appreciate their all stepping up and doing that for us.
- 46:04Speaker 3: And I also understand that the folks from Pigley, from
- 46:07Speaker 3: Pigley wiggily coming around eleven thirty this morning. Huntingson Bank
- 46:11Speaker 3: has told us that they're going to come in around
- 46:13Speaker 3: noon with the donation People's Bank. Not to be outdone.
- 46:16Speaker 3: We'll get the battle. The bank's going here, John, I
- 46:18Speaker 3: understand People's Bank. Bobby tells me it's going to come
- 46:20Speaker 3: in around one o'clock. But again, we appreciate these corporate sponsors,
- 46:23Speaker 3: but we also appreciate the lady that was out there
- 46:26Speaker 3: earlier that pulled up into parking lot and said, I
- 46:28Speaker 3: got five dollars, and I said, we'll take it. We'll
- 46:30Speaker 3: take it.
- 46:31Speaker 17: Aw bless her heart, bless or heart. Yeah, hey, look,
- 46:34Speaker 17: if you give with the right heart, I tell him
- 46:36Speaker 17: Woody while I go, if you give it the right heart,

- 46:41Speaker 17: and we'll make sure it all goes together to bless
- 46:44Speaker 17: people in need.
- 46:45Speaker 3: All right, I'll be out there in about ten or
- 46:46Speaker 3: fifteen minutes, so we'll let you get back to taking
- 46:49Speaker 3: care of Woody and Rob and Steve, Anal and all
- 46:51Speaker 3: the other personalities that are out there. Steven, Jenny, we're
- 46:53Speaker 3: all out there today. John, I'll see in a bit, man.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Thanks a lot, Okay, thanks man, and Drew, what do
- 46:59Speaker 3: you thinks you as well? We'll let you go go

- 47:02Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, hey Dave, Yeah, Martin Riggs, he gonna match
- 47:07Speaker 5: the one thousand dollars. We're gonna get it real.
- 47:09Speaker 3: How cool is that? Martin Riggs got called out on
- 47:13Speaker 3: the spot and Martin Riggs said, I will come up
- 47:16Speaker 3: with another thousand dollars to match that. So what do he?
- 47:18Speaker 5: Uh?
- 47:19Speaker 3: You know, when this whole radio thing is gone, you're
- 47:21Speaker 3: gonna have to get with my buddy Marlon Collins, because
- 47:23Speaker 3: I think you've got a career in raising money for
- 47:25Speaker 3: churches or something. Buddy.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Hey, we just go do what we gotta do for
- 47:30Speaker 5: I don't care how we do it, where we do it,

- 47:44Speaker 3: He woulds from his sister station to beat John Roberts
- 47:47Speaker 3: from Mountain Mission again, and thank you so much for
- 47:49Speaker 3: Martin Riggs who just matched We had somebody. As I said,
- 47:51Speaker 3: I got a text somebody said they're coming with a
- 47:53Speaker 3: check with a for a thousand dollars and Martin Riggs, Uh,
- 47:56Speaker 3: just loyal listener to the show said I'll match it.
- 47:59Speaker 3: So there's one thousand dollars right there. I appreciate it
- 48:01Speaker 3: very much. Dave Island showing five any live browd to
- 48:03Speaker 3: you part by Pinnacle Consultants. They're led paint inspection risk
- 48:06Speaker 3: Assessment services designed to identify and to assess the presence
- 48:09Speaker 3: of lead based paint and buildings and other structures using
- 48:12Speaker 3: a three phase approach of inspection sampling, a lab analysis,
- 48:16Speaker 3: and an assessment report. Visuit Pinnacle Court dot in that
- 48:18Speaker 3: because well you don't know, can't hurt you, all right,
- 48:20Speaker 3: So I want to mention a couple of news items here.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Briefly mentioned this on the show yesterday, and we have
- 48:26Speaker 3: it online and the story WCSS network dot com. And
- 48:28Speaker 3: it has to do with now former Putnam County Commissioner
- 48:32Speaker 3: and former sheriff Steve Dewesze. Dewice named in an information
- 48:35Speaker 3: filed this week of Putnam County Circuit Court by a
- 48:37Speaker 3: prosecutor out of Wayne County who was appointed special prosecutor
- 48:41Speaker 3: in the matter. Dewise according to the special prosecutors, alleged
- 48:44Speaker 3: to have entered into an agreement for four straight years
- 48:47Speaker 3: with a calendar company to allow the use of a
- 48:51Speaker 3: Sheriff's department picture for a calendar that the company would
- 48:54Speaker 3: then use to sell ads on. Now, according to court documents,
- 48:57Speaker 3: the calendar company would then send a check, believing that
- 49:00Speaker 3: that check would benefit the Sheriff's Department in Putnam or
- 49:03Speaker 3: the Putnam County Deputy Sheriff's Association. Special prosecutor says that
- 49:06Speaker 3: money never made it to either the Sheriff's Department or
- 49:09Speaker 3: to the Deputy Sheriff's Association. Now the court case pretty
- 49:14Speaker 3: much is over as best I understand it. Early in
- 49:17Speaker 3: the week, Steve dewis entering what's commonly known as a
- 49:20Speaker 3: Kennedy plea, meaning basically, it's a plea of no contest. Now,
- 49:24Speaker 3: under the law, the plea means there is sufficient evidence
- 49:27Speaker 3: to potentially convict the party of a misdemeanor crime or
- 49:30Speaker 3: fraudulent schemes. But in this case, Deuice admits no guilt
- 49:35Speaker 3: and as part of his deal, he has to pay
- 49:38Speaker 3: back the money to the Putnam County Deputy Sheriff's Association
- 49:42Speaker 3: of the four grand is how much it was, and
- 49:44Speaker 3: to resign his seat as a Putnam County Commissioner, which
- 49:47Speaker 3: he has done effective. I understand at the end of
- 49:49Speaker 3: this month. Also he cannot run for public office again.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Against story posts about that, wv Metronews dot com text says, Hey, Dave,
- 49:58Speaker 3: are we going to walk the big check to the
- 49:59Speaker 3: Mountain Mis in North Charleston. Possibly, but I don't know
- 50:03Speaker 3: if rob Reel wants to do anything associated with walking
- 50:05Speaker 3: right now. After walking that big old check for WVU
- 50:07Speaker 3: Children's Hospital from eleven to eleven all the way to
- 50:10Speaker 3: the Children's Hospital in Morgantown last month, we might walk
- 50:14Speaker 3: a check to Mountain Mission, but I don't think Robriel
- 50:17Speaker 3: is going to be the one to do it. Just
- 50:19Speaker 3: saying I don't. I don't think that is going to happen.
- 50:21Speaker 3: The discussions and public meetings over Peia continue. Big one
- 50:28Speaker 3: held Tuesday night in Morgantown, and the next one is
- 50:31Speaker 3: an in person event tonight at the Culture Center in Charleston.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Now in Morgantown, there were union protests prior to the event,
- 50:39Speaker 3: which was held on Tuesday night at the Ericson Alumni
- 50:42Speaker 3: Center of WVU. Of course, you know the numbers PIA
- 50:46Speaker 3: is increasing or try you know, if it's a fourteen
- 50:49Speaker 3: percent increase from what I understand, fourteen percent increase in premiums,
- 50:54Speaker 3: forty percent in deductibles, and also the increase and the
- 50:58Speaker 3: charges for spouse who fall under those plans now sets
- 51:04Speaker 3: I think I think the figures one hundred and forty
- 51:07Speaker 3: seven dollars if I'm correct, And now that would raise
- 51:09Speaker 3: from one forty seven to three point fifty. So obviously
- 51:13Speaker 3: some state employees are are pretty upset about that, and
- 51:16Speaker 3: there are other increases that go along with that as well.
- 51:20Speaker 3: And again, this hearing is going to be tonight on
- 51:23Speaker 3: the grounds of the Capitol and the Culture Center, and
- 51:25Speaker 3: it starts at six o'clock. They've done some virtual meetings
- 51:29Speaker 3: and they had a big old crowd. I saw the pictures.
- 51:32Speaker 3: And again Mike Nolton's got a story posted about a
- 51:34Speaker 3: WV metronews dot com on the event that happened in
- 51:37Speaker 3: Morgantown on Tuesday evening. This one is in Charleston. Expected
- 51:42Speaker 3: to be a capacity crowd there tonight. I don't know
- 51:44Speaker 3: about protesters, but I do know there is going to
- 51:46Speaker 3: be a capacity crowd there. It starts at six to
- 51:48Speaker 3: night at the Culture Center. We of course will be
- 51:50Speaker 3: posting about it so you can follow along. We'll have
- 51:53Speaker 3: stories after probably during end after the meeting wv Metro
- 51:56Speaker 3: News dot com and are under all of our social
- 51:59Speaker 3: media sites as well. All right, gotta go. Thank you
- 52:05Speaker 3: so much to all the guests on the show today,
- 52:06Speaker 3: including doctor Casey Sachs of Bridge Valley and also Logan
- 52:10Speaker 3: Scott from V one hundred V one hundred flipping the
- 52:13Speaker 3: switch to all Christmas music tomorrow morning at nine am.
