  God

  Here's

  I
• 2:20
  want
• 2:20
  you
• 2:20
  to

  Find

  Just

  there

  as
• 2:27
  simply
• 2:27
  and
• 2:27
  honestly

  as

  can

  and

  manage.
• 2:30
  The

  will

  shift
• 2:31
  you
• 2:31
  to
• 2:31
  God
• 2:32
  and
• 2:33
  you
• 2:33
  will

  begin

  to
• 2:33
  sense

  Well,

• 2:50
  Don't

  and

• 2:56
  The

• 3:00
  Let's
• 3:00
  take
• 3:00
  this
• 3:01
  a
• 3:01
  little
• 3:01
  further
• 3:02
  with
• 3:03
  three
• 3:03
  points
• 3:03
  to

• 3:05
  The

  is

  this

• 3:11
  Jesus
• 3:11
  isn't
• 3:11
  knocking
• 3:12

• 3:13
  faith.
• 3:13
  He's
• 3:13
  warning
• 3:14
  against
• 3:14
  performative
• 3:15
  piety,
• 3:16
  that

  is

  A

  how

  public

• 3:25
  can
• 3:25

  injustice.
• 3:27
  We

  don't
• 3:28
  need
• 3:28
  louder
• 3:28
  spiritual

  branding.
• 3:29
  We
• 3:29
  need
• 3:30
  deeper
• 3:30
  spiritual
• 3:31
  integrity.
• 3:32
  Where
• 3:32
  there's

  or

  does

  it

  actually

• 3:43
  who

  are

• 3:44
  And
• 3:45
  now
• 3:45
  we

  have

  a

  couple
• 3:45
  granddaughters

  who

  us

  great

  They

  think
• 3:49
  my

• 4:37
  humor.
• 4:38
  I
• 4:38
  see
• 4:39
  simple
• 4:39
  practices
• 4:40
  like
• 4:41
  breathing
• 4:41
  exercises
• 4:42
  and
• 4:42
  prayer
• 4:43
  can
• 4:43
  really
• 4:44
  study
• 4:44
  someone
• 4:44
  before
• 4:46
  a
• 4:46
  tough
• 4:46
  diagnosis
• 4:47
  or
• 4:47
  appointment.
• 4:48
  And
• 4:49
  that
• 4:49
  quiet
• 4:49
  courage
• 4:50
  often
• 4:50
  shows
• 4:50
  up
• 4:51
  as
• 4:51
  rides
• 4:51
  to
• 4:52
  treatment
• 4:52
  centers,
• 4:53
  meals
• 4:54
  on
• 4:54
  somebody's
• 4:54
  front
• 4:54
  porch.
• 4:57
  Be
• 4:57
  an
• 4:57
  advocate
• 4:57
  for
• 4:58
  equitable,
• 4:58
  clear
• 5:00
  voter
• 5:00
  engagement.
• 5:02
  Private
• 5:03
  prayer
• 5:04
  and
• 5:04
  public
• 5:04
  justice
• 5:04
  are
• 5:05
  not
• 5:05
  competitors.
• 5:06
  They're
• 5:06
  partners.
• 5:09
  One
• 5:09
  more
• 5:09
  point
• 5:09
  to
• 5:10
  ponder.
• 5:11
  Decenter
• 5:12
  ego
• 5:12
  center
• 5:13
  God
• 5:13
  and
• 5:13
  neighbor.
• 5:15
  It
• 5:15
  says
• 5:15
  here
• 5:16
  that
• 5:16
  the
• 5:16
  focus
• 5:16
  will
• 5:16
  shift
• 5:17
  from
• 5:17
  you
• 5:17
  to
• 5:17
  God.
• 5:17
  And
• 5:18
  Jesus
• 5:18
  says
• 5:19
  and
• 5:19
  when
• 5:19
  our
• 5:19
  focus
• 5:20
  shifts
• 5:20
  to
• 5:20
  God's
• 5:21
  grace,
• 5:21
  it
• 5:22
  it
• 5:22
  naturally
• 5:22
  expands
• 5:24
  to
• 5:24
  our
• 5:24
  neighbors.
• 5:25
  And
• 5:25
  progressive
• 5:26
  faith
• 5:26
  decouples
• 5:27
  worth
• 5:28
  from
• 5:28
  visibility.
• 5:30
  We're
• 5:30
  not
• 5:30
  the
• 5:30
  main
• 5:30
  character
• 5:31
  love
• 5:31
  is
• 5:32
  that
• 5:33
  frees
• 5:33
  us
• 5:33
  to
• 5:33
  cheer
• 5:34
  others
• 5:34
  on,
• 5:35
  especially
• 5:35
  folks
• 5:36
  historically
• 5:37
  dismissed
• 5:37
  or
• 5:38
  unseen.
• 5:39
  It's
• 5:39
  like
• 5:40
  when
• 5:40
  I
• 5:40
  stick
• 5:40
  with
• 5:40
  my
• 5:40
  teams.
• 5:41
  The
• 5:41
  Colts
• 5:41
  and
• 5:41
  the
• 5:41
  Pacers
• 5:42
  and
• 5:42
  the
• 5:42
  Fever
• 5:43
  and
• 5:43
  IU
• 5:44
  basketball
• 5:44
  and
• 5:44
  football.
• 5:46
  Some
• 5:46
  years
• 5:46
  are
• 5:46
  great,
• 5:47
  like
• 5:47
  this
• 5:47
  past
• 5:47
  year
• 5:47
  been
• 5:48
  great.
• 5:48
  But
• 5:48
  other
• 5:48
  years
• 5:48
  are
• 5:48
  down.
• 5:50
  You
• 5:50
  are
• 5:51
  a
• 5:51
  loyal
• 5:51
  fan
• 5:52
  regardless.
• 5:53
  It's
• 5:53
  not
• 5:53
  about
• 5:53
  getting
• 5:54
  the
• 5:54
  spotlight.
• 5:54
  It's
• 5:55
  about
• 5:55
  showing
• 5:55
  up
• 5:56
  for
• 5:56
  your
• 5:56
  team.
• 5:57
  The
• 5:58
  community.
• 5:58
  The
• 5:58
  people
• 5:59
  who
• 5:59
  need
• 5:59
  you
• 6:00
  need
• 6:00
  steady,
• 6:01
  stubborn
• 6:02
  love.
• 6:04
  So
• 6:04
  let's
• 6:04
  talk
• 6:04
  here
• 6:05
  about
• 6:05
  an
• 6:05
  action
• 6:05
  step
• 6:06
  Practice
• 6:07
  one
• 6:07

  of
• 6:08
  generosity
• 6:08

  prayer.
• 6:10
  No
• 6:11
  stage,
• 6:12
  no
• 6:13
  spotlight.
• 6:14
  Just
• 6:14
  sincerity.
• 6:16
  In
• 6:16
  the
• 6:16
  area
• 6:17
  of
• 6:17
  generosity,
• 6:17
  choose
• 6:18
  one
• 6:18
  concrete

  need
• 6:19
  that
• 6:19
  you
• 6:19
  know
• 6:19
  about
• 6:20
  in
• 6:20
  your
• 6:20
  community.
• 6:21
  Maybe
• 6:21
  it's
• 6:22
  the
• 6:22

• 6:22
  who
• 6:22
  needs
• 6:22

• 6:33
  Do
• 6:34
  without
• 6:34

• 6:34
  about

  it
• 6:35

  Prayer.
• 6:38
  Pick
• 6:38
  a
• 6:38
  place.
• 6:40
  Pick
• 6:40
  a
• 6:40
  quiet
• 6:41
  place,
• 6:42
  maybe
• 6:42
  a
• 6:43
  chair
• 6:43
  by
• 6:43
  a
• 6:43

• 6:43

• 6:50
  in
• 6:50
  a

• 6:52
  And
• 6:53
  maybe
• 6:53
  set

• 6:54
  on

• 6:56

  then
• 6:58
  just
• 6:58

• 6:58
  and
• 6:58
  just
• 6:59
  say,
• 6:59

  am.
• 7:00
  Breathe
