- 1:37Speaker 3: I'm back.
- 1:38Speaker 1: The amazing Kate Casey has a great podcast, Reality Life
- 1:42Speaker 1: with Kate Casey. She's been my friend for over 10 years,
- 1:45Speaker 1: maybe even more like 12. And so, of course, we
- 1:50Speaker 1: want to talk. Let's talk everything about it. Congrats on
- 1:53Speaker 1: your win. Thank you.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Thank you very much.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You are a Philly girl. Yes, I am. And your
- 1:57Speaker 1: team won.
- 1:58Speaker 3: We won.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Now... Yesterday when I was walking the dog, which was Sunday,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I was like, was it Philly? Like what crazy East
- 2:07Speaker 1: Coast team? Was there this story that haunts me about
- 2:11Speaker 1: once or twice a quarter? And that is a fan
- 2:15Speaker 1: getting so excited that the team won that he went
- 2:18Speaker 1: and ate– The shit from the police horses. And so
- 2:23Speaker 1: during the game, the party I was at, which everybody
- 2:27Speaker 1: was a Philly fan. Oh, good. And I just wore
- 2:30Speaker 1: my items that I had from when I was Taylor
- 2:33Speaker 1: Swift two Halloweens ago.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Oh, that's confusing.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Halloween and a half ago, whatever, last year. And so
- 2:40Speaker 1: I was like, oh, there'll be people rooting for the Chiefs, whatever.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I have a shirt. Go Taylor's boyfriend. And I got
- 2:45Speaker 1: there and I was like, oh, my God, I hope.
- 2:47Speaker 1: But then they thought it was OK because that's since
- 2:49Speaker 1: I was like mocking him. They were like, I go, yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'm mocking him. It's fine. Like, I'm not really for
- 2:54Speaker 1: the Chiefs. And but I pulled that up and I
- 2:59Speaker 1: started to show the Philly people. And I go, do
- 3:01Speaker 1: you remember this story? And nobody did. Oh, really? Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah. But they were like, it was 2018.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Well, you have to know that 2018, we had gone
- 3:12Speaker 3: decades without winning.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That requires some people to eat.
- 3:16Speaker 3: We were in tears. We were out of our minds.
- 3:19Speaker 3: We couldn't believe it. So that doesn't shock me at all.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I haven't heard any more accounts of horse poo eating
- 3:25Speaker 1: this time.
- 3:25Speaker 3: But a lot of crazy- A lot of crazy stuff.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Riot type of stuff.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You know how you have your own algorithm? Everything in
- 3:32Speaker 3: my algorithm is like eagles, eagles, eagles. So I live
- 3:35Speaker 3: in my own bubble where I think about them all
- 3:38Speaker 3: the time, but it wasn't until I went to Canada
- 3:40Speaker 3: like three weeks ago, my son was wearing an Eagle
- 3:43Speaker 3: sweatshirt and there were so many people that were coming
- 3:46Speaker 3: up to him and saying things. And that was the
- 3:48Speaker 3: first time I thought.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Like pro Eagles or not for the Eagles. Like then
- 3:52Speaker 1: you realize it was like a cool thing.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Oh my God. I think everyone's for us. Yeah. Like
- 3:57Speaker 3: they're really for us. And then I really started to
- 3:59Speaker 3: feel it certainly in the last couple of days, but. Well,
- 4:02Speaker 3: they killed it. Killed it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Uh, Taylor was not, uh, Did she not come out
- 4:08Speaker 1: in the halftime show? I never thought that. Well, did
- 4:10Speaker 1: you see the moment where she got booed? She got
- 4:12Speaker 1: booed and she seemed surprised, which I think they were
- 4:14Speaker 1: just like, I don't think they were booing her. It
- 4:17Speaker 1: was just more like they're stupid and they're booing that
- 4:19Speaker 1: she's obviously a Chiefs fan and her boyfriend.
- 4:22Speaker 3: That's correct.
- 4:22Speaker 1: What do you think about Travis showing up in his
- 4:24Speaker 1: like 1970s like fancy outfit? Like the Saturday Night Live suit.
- 4:29Speaker 3: My friend Chris said he looked like Ron Burgundy. I
- 4:31Speaker 3: felt like Ron Burgundy if he was a pimp. Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 3: A little bit like that.
- 4:36Speaker 1: He.
- 4:37Speaker 3: When he left the game and he went into the
- 4:39Speaker 3: suite with her.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And the way he looked like just a complete zombie,
- 4:42Speaker 3: like surprised. It reminded me of A Real Housewife, how
- 4:46Speaker 3: they think they killed it. And then the season starts
- 4:48Speaker 3: to air. And then they're like, wait a minute. The
- 4:51Speaker 3: audience is totally against me. I felt like that was
- 4:54Speaker 3: like the kind of the outlook. Like they couldn't believe
- 4:57Speaker 3: they lost.
- 4:58Speaker 1: They couldn't believe it.
- 4:58Speaker 3: They couldn't believe it. And everybody was for the Eagles.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And they lost by so much.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yes. Okay, so let's talk about... Oh, Giselle had her baby.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, a boy, right?
- 5:09Speaker 1: A boy named River.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Of course, that's on that track.
- 5:12Speaker 1: She moved on. And then Kendrick Lamar did his routine,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you know, and... His routine. He did his performance. And
- 5:20Speaker 1: I know, you know, they're not like us. Like, I
- 5:22Speaker 1: know those songs. You know, I was thoroughly entertained. But
- 5:27Speaker 1: not till I woke up at one in the morning
- 5:30Speaker 1: did I realize, oh... Actually, this wasn't patriotic. This was
- 5:34Speaker 1: not like I was like, oh, look how nice it is.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Like because I'm hearing I'm just seeing like red, white
- 5:39Speaker 1: and blue and Uncle Sam, Samuel Jackson. So I'm like, oh,
- 5:44Speaker 1: it's cool that everyone's becoming like way more, you know,
- 5:49Speaker 1: go America. And then when I read all the stuff,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, it was like really kind of. The
- 5:55Speaker 1: whole point is that it was like it was very
- 5:57Speaker 1: negative towards.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Well, I mean, patriotism to me is. celebrating American values,
- 6:03Speaker 3: which is free speech. And he did win a Pulitzer
- 6:07Speaker 3: Prize in 2018. Yes.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And it was really cool to go and look at how,
- 6:12Speaker 1: because then I was like on TikTok and I was
- 6:13Speaker 1: seeing how everyone went through all the symbolism and everything
- 6:18Speaker 1: that it meant and just what a lyrical genius he
- 6:21Speaker 1: is and all of that, which I always think is
- 6:24Speaker 1: really cool with hip hop. Like there was a class
- 6:27Speaker 1: that you could take at my son's.
- 6:28Speaker 3: High school.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh, that's cool. That was like hip hop.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Lyricism.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And history and just sort of the same way we
- 6:33Speaker 1: would dissect like Shakespearean plays.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And where the language felt so different from today, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: you could like figure, oh, they're actually talking about this, whatever.
- 6:41Speaker 1: So that was really cool. But then there was a
- 6:43Speaker 1: lot of talk of like the songs were not popular
- 6:48Speaker 1: enough for the general public because we normally get like,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I mean, if you're comparing it to like Dr. Dre
- 6:53Speaker 1: or which had that hip side.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But then also everybody knew it from like 65 to 10.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Everyone knew those songs.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Well, I presume part of that is that it's really
- 7:06Speaker 3: difficult to get people to want to perform, which sounds
- 7:10Speaker 3: crazy because it's the highest honor in music, really, to
- 7:13Speaker 3: be asked to do the Super Bowl. But you don't
- 7:16Speaker 3: get paid well. Right. Like $ 600 or something.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah. It was like $ 1, 000 a day scale union. Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 3: The Weeknd actually used a lot of his own money
- 7:25Speaker 3: for the performance. So you have that and also the pressure.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I mean, like, for example, Saturday Night Live, if you
- 7:30Speaker 3: and I were asked to be hosts, we would be like, duh. Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 3: But a lot of performers freak out and they're like,
- 7:35Speaker 3: I don't want to do live TV. So I think
- 7:37Speaker 3: the pressure that comes with performing that a lot of
- 7:40Speaker 3: people don't want to do it. Yeah. You don't want
- 7:42Speaker 3: to be like repeat. You know, so.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Well, I thought, I mean, I thought it was a great.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I thought the dancing was so good.
- 7:48Speaker 1: At the time I didn't realize that the thing with
- 7:51Speaker 1: the PlayStation.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I missed all that because I'm like at a party
- 7:55Speaker 1: and people are talking.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be hard.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But like I enjoyed it. I thought it did great.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I thought it was cool. But I didn't really understand
- 8:02Speaker 1: what was going on until like I, you know, read
- 8:04Speaker 1: about it after.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Sometimes that's fun though because I found out only a
- 8:07Speaker 3: lot of the nuances between himself and Drake. And, like,
- 8:12Speaker 3: the Serena Williams part. My friend Chris explained this to me.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Serena used to date Drake.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But he went crazy because she broke it off, and
- 8:20Speaker 3: he was obsessed with her, and he would diss her
- 8:22Speaker 3: and her husband.
- 8:24Speaker 1: In his music? Drake would?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Like, anywhere. He's, like, one of those people who is
- 8:29Speaker 3: all emotion and really gets wound up when a girl, like,
- 8:35Speaker 3: breaks it off. And, like, he has a whole history
- 8:37Speaker 3: with Rihanna, for example. And, like, Rihanna and Serena Williams are, like,
- 8:40Speaker 3: I have my own thing.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And then he has a whole history with the girl,
- 8:44Speaker 1: Millie Brown.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Millie Bobby Brown.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah. They were just really good friends. She was 13. Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Talking about being in the biz together.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah. They were just talking on the phone a lot. Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 3: My friend Chris told me that apparently he has a
- 8:56Speaker 3: room in his house with Chanel bags for the wife
- 8:59Speaker 3: that he doesn't have yet.
- 9:00Speaker 1: What do you.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Think about that? Isn't that weird? You know how we
- 9:07Speaker 3: say it's like the small things that say so much
- 9:10Speaker 3: about somebody.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but also that's like a move every girl you date.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Like I remember I dated this really rich guy when
- 9:17Speaker 1: I was a senior at USC. And he went on
- 9:21Speaker 1: to marry a girl who has a fabulous life. But whatever.
- 9:24Speaker 1: He was very rich. And he was like 40. But
- 9:27Speaker 1: I went on a date with him. I met him
- 9:28Speaker 1: at Trader Vic's one night. And on the first date,
- 9:31Speaker 1: like I drove to the house. It was in the Palisades.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Probably not there anymore.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And like each door was like, you know, several thousand pounds.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'd never experienced that. There was a couple that worked
- 9:42Speaker 1: there together, you know, like a man and woman, like butler.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Like a manager, like a house manager.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yes, I loved it. But anyway, we came into the
- 9:50Speaker 1: house and then we went to the woman's closet where
- 9:53Speaker 1: there was like the first section and everything. And he
- 9:55Speaker 1: was like, do you think you could fill this one day?
- 9:57Speaker 1: So I think it's like a move. like on the
- 10:00Speaker 1: first date with my husband Peter he's like talking about
- 10:03Speaker 1: his work and he used to travel a lot for
- 10:04Speaker 1: work and he goes I like to fly first class
- 10:06Speaker 1: do you like to fly first class And I was like,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I've never been in first class.
- 10:10Speaker 3: He's like, well, buckle up, girl.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And actually, we did go in first class for our honeymoon.
- 10:15Speaker 3: But I had never.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But it was one of those like stupid drop those. No,
- 10:18Speaker 1: like someone's going to be like, actually, no, I enjoy
- 10:20Speaker 1: like a middle seat. Like, no. So I think he's
- 10:23Speaker 1: probably doing that because he can. And he knows that
- 10:26Speaker 1: it just if the girls weren't going to sleep with
- 10:28Speaker 1: him before going over like they would. And then but
- 10:32Speaker 1: the whole a minor thing in the necklace. Yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Like savage.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yeah. That because he took out the word pedophile because
- 10:39Speaker 1: I guess Drake was going to sue him or is
- 10:42Speaker 1: suing him because he has that word about Drake in
- 10:46Speaker 1: one of his songs. Yeah. And but then he still
- 10:49Speaker 1: kept it. enough about what he thinks and then other
- 10:53Speaker 1: people are like oh my god let it go move
- 10:56Speaker 1: on you know keep Drake's name out of your mouth
- 10:58Speaker 1: but most people are like loving all of it I
- 11:01Speaker 1: mean if you were part of it like the reaction
- 11:03Speaker 1: of people that had been following their but I but
- 11:06Speaker 1: I still was like why do they hate each other
- 11:09Speaker 1: so I looked and I looked and I looked and
- 11:11Speaker 1: I guess at one time Drake said that Kendrick Lamar
- 11:16Speaker 1: himself and somebody else are the top three rappers and
- 11:19Speaker 1: then Kendrick Lamar is like, no, I am. I'm the top.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And that was how the fight started. I don't know.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm probably getting it completely wrong.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I think it's like what we obsess about with reality shows.
- 11:33Speaker 3: It's like all the little nuances. But I think at
- 11:35Speaker 3: the core of it, it probably gets under Drake's skin
- 11:38Speaker 3: that Kendrick is kind of what he wishes he could be.
- 11:41Speaker 3: The lyricist and has the personal story. that makes sense
- 11:44Speaker 3: to be the rapper.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Right. He's from Compton. The storyteller. Drake, who's from Canada
- 11:49Speaker 1: and was a child star.
- 11:51Speaker 3: And like was super wealthy.
- 11:52Speaker 1: So. Right. And he was on the little kid show.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Degrassi.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I think he has an imposter syndrome.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Drake.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Well, I met Drake at a Kardashian Christmas party and
- 12:04Speaker 1: he was a total delight. Was he? And took a
- 12:05Speaker 1: photo with my Drake and Brandon.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Oh, why was that not your holiday card?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Um, You know, I have given it to the boys.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So they have it to use when they need cred.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But they're very little in the photo. But yeah, I mean,
- 12:19Speaker 1: so I don't know. But I was like, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: found it interesting. And then just like anything else, they
- 12:26Speaker 1: know that it's exciting. But then all like the, you know,
- 12:30Speaker 1: game over, turn off the TV, you know, get ready
- 12:33Speaker 1: for the revolution, all that kind of stuff is cool.
- 12:37Speaker 1: But I think a lot of they went over most
- 12:39Speaker 1: people's heads, including my own.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And it's kind of fun, though, in the aftermath of it.
- 12:43Speaker 3: It was fun. I think we live in an Easter
- 12:46Speaker 3: egg time.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Taylor Swift does that all the time, too. And I
- 12:49Speaker 3: think it's fun in the day after putting all the
- 12:51Speaker 3: puzzle pieces together.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Yeah. So that was cool. This girl, Jordan Hudson, the
- 12:56Speaker 1: 24-year-old dating 72-year-old Bill Belichick, supposedly she has an engagement
- 13:02Speaker 1: ring on. Okay. She was in the Dunkin' Donuts commercial
- 13:05Speaker 1: with Ben Affleck standing next to her boyfriend. Yeah. So
- 13:10Speaker 1: she is 100% getting everything she needs to out of this.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Why has someone not pitched a reality show about these two?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Well, she will probably say yes and he'll probably go
- 13:19Speaker 1: along with it.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He'll go along with it.
- 13:20Speaker 1: And I think he's like, I don't care. Like, she
- 13:24Speaker 1: is into me. It's fun. I've got, you know, 15
- 13:28Speaker 1: years left on this earth. This is who I want
- 13:30Speaker 1: to hang with. I don't care what anyone says. I mean,
- 13:33Speaker 1: whether she was 24 or 40, who the fuck cares?
- 13:36Speaker 1: He's not dating a 70 year old. That's that. Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Even if he was dating a 50 year old, people
- 13:41Speaker 1: wouldn't make a big deal about it. But still, that's
- 13:42Speaker 1: 22 years difference. If he was dating a 50 year
- 13:46Speaker 1: old woman, that is still a huge age difference. So
- 13:50Speaker 1: once you get to like 40, 50 years, who cares?
- 13:52Speaker 3: I also think now that he's coaching at UNC and
- 13:55Speaker 3: he's around all these college kids and he's recruiting lacrosse players,
- 13:58Speaker 3: like he's got the young girlfriend, this may add a
- 14:01Speaker 3: couple of years onto his life.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Right? Why not?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yeah. But then you're her friend and you're like, can
- 14:06Speaker 1: Bill like bring over his players and not his contemporaries?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Because I don't want to hang with those grossies. Okay.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Then the Kanye commercial. Did you see the Kanye commercial?
- 14:16Speaker 3: I don't think I did. Tell me.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So he, all of a sudden, the middle of the Superbowl,
- 14:20Speaker 1: Kanye pops up and he says, it's an iPhone video
- 14:25Speaker 1: of himself. And he goes, I spent all my money
- 14:29Speaker 1: to buy this commercial and to show you my new
- 14:32Speaker 1: teeth and whatever. They just look like weird. He looks
- 14:37Speaker 1: like a New Jersey house husband, a real house husband
- 14:39Speaker 1: in New Jersey, but worse. Anyway, who knows what they were.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And then it just goes Yeezy.com.
- 14:46Speaker 3: That's all he said?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yes. But then what I found out this morning. Oh.
- 14:50Speaker 1: is when the people that clicked on it, there's only
- 14:52Speaker 1: one item for sale. Oh, no.
- 14:55Speaker 3: What is it?
- 14:56Speaker 1: The Nazi symbol on a white T-shirt.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Why are we giving this guy any ounce of attention?
- 15:04Speaker 3: This is the last thing we need right now.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Why are not people more outraged and not talking about it?
- 15:08Speaker 1: And then I'm like, well, I see why, because we
- 15:09Speaker 1: don't want to give him any attention. But then I
- 15:11Speaker 1: feel like we have to say something because it's so
- 15:15Speaker 1: gross and got so out of hand and he was
- 15:17Speaker 1: ranting all weekend with the most horrific stuff that he
- 15:20Speaker 1: was saying about some of the things he was saying
- 15:24Speaker 1: he was like asking Trump to free Diddy saying his
- 15:27Speaker 1: friends are not sticking up for him he was then
- 15:31Speaker 1: Diddy's attorneys came out and blasted him then he was
- 15:35Speaker 1: talking about Bianca he did end up finally they kicked
- 15:40Speaker 1: him off of X finally Elon or somebody was like
- 15:44Speaker 1: Or enough people wrote. I think David Schwimmer was writing stuff.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I think I saw that.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And finally, or he voluntarily left. He was gone as of,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you know, Monday morning. One of the other things he
- 15:56Speaker 1: said about his wife. Here's a tweet. I have dominion
- 16:00Speaker 1: over my wife. Well, I don't even know what that means.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Dominating.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Is that a version of dominating?
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think he's trying to say I have control over
- 16:05Speaker 3: my wife.
- 16:06Speaker 1: This ain't no woke as feminist shit. She's a billionaire.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Why would she listen to any of you dumb ass
- 16:12Speaker 1: broke people? I guess bitches. People say the red carpet
- 16:16Speaker 1: look was her decision. Yes, I don't make her do nothing.
- 16:19Speaker 1: She doesn't want to, but she definitely wouldn't have been
- 16:21Speaker 1: able to do it without my approval. You stupid ass
- 16:24Speaker 1: woke pawns. I have no respect or empathy for anyone
- 16:27Speaker 1: living because no one living can F with me. But
- 16:30Speaker 1: I do love some people and I give them a favor.
- 16:33Speaker 3: By the way, shame on all those media outlets that
- 16:36Speaker 3: posted those pictures.
- 16:37Speaker 1: She's clearly– I posted it.
- 16:39Speaker 3: She's clearly a woman who's being controlled.
- 16:42Speaker 1: That's public humiliation.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Well, I did.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Is that bad?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yes. That's public humiliation of a woman.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I don't– okay. Well, then I'm sorry. But I mean,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't know. When it happened, the night of the Grammys,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and I even talked about it with Chris. I go,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm surprised like they're letting me put this on Instagram.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I know. They're all complicit. But I did it.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So are you mad at me?
- 17:06Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Not mad, mad, but I just don't think all the
- 17:10Speaker 3: media outlets should stop posting pictures of it.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'll remove it.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I feel badly for her.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Hold on. Let me phone.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I really am.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Hold on. You know what? She's got to leave now, though.
- 17:23Speaker 3: She needs to leave.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Okay, now if you don't leave, then you're just as
- 17:27Speaker 1: bad as him.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I wouldn't say that. I think it's really hard when
- 17:30Speaker 3: a woman's being controlled.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So now here's my next thing. Okay. You know, I've
- 17:36Speaker 1: talked about this, like, Kim, my God. I don't think
- 17:39Speaker 1: there is a worse person to co-parent with in the
- 17:43Speaker 1: world right now that's a celebrity besides Kanye. And I
- 17:46Speaker 1: know she's in a hard position because her kids, I'm sure,
- 17:49Speaker 1: want to see their dad. And I'm sure North is,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know, she's now a momager to North, and North
- 17:55Speaker 1: definitely has her own mind at 13. But if I
- 17:57Speaker 1: was Kim.
- 18:01Speaker 1: If I was Kim, this would be it. I would
- 18:04Speaker 1: be doing ex parte in court, changing whatever custody arrangement
- 18:08Speaker 1: we have. I agree with you. And I'd be like,
- 18:11Speaker 1: my kids cannot be around him.
- 18:12Speaker 3: No.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You know, look at what he's saying. And even if
- 18:16Speaker 1: he doesn't really feel this way about Jewish people, he's
- 18:21Speaker 1: at the verge of like, he could just kill them all.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Nannies are not, security guards are not. Like, I'm not
- 18:26Speaker 1: letting my kids be around this person that is that.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And I'd be like, I'm sorry, North, if you're mad
- 18:33Speaker 1: at me for it. Like your dad is insane. And
- 18:35Speaker 1: if you can't explain to your kid why you can't
- 18:39Speaker 1: be around someone that is saying this stuff. And I
- 18:42Speaker 1: don't care. You could someone go, well, it's for PR.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's publicity. He's selling a shirt.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I know. It's despicable. So it's like.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It's disgusting and not enough people are enraged about it.
- 18:57Speaker 3: And it's shocking. Well, that's the problem with people like
- 18:58Speaker 3: that because they say it so often people sort of
- 19:01Speaker 3: become numb to it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And then again, I get it. We don't want to
- 19:03Speaker 1: give him attention. I understand that aspect of it too.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But and maybe if you're friends with the Kardashians, they're like,
- 19:12Speaker 1: please don't talk about it. You know, it's not like
- 19:15Speaker 1: Khloe's going to talk about this on her podcast. I mean,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you know, I get it. But like I am because
- 19:20Speaker 1: this is just disgusting. And as a mom, I'd be like, oh,
- 19:25Speaker 1: my kids are not going to be around you. Like
- 19:27Speaker 1: I said, with security guards or not, you're not going
- 19:29Speaker 1: to see him until he gets evaluated. And if anything,
- 19:34Speaker 1: he's like, I have been evaluated. And this is the
- 19:36Speaker 1: way I feel. Whoops. People do feel that way and
- 19:39Speaker 1: it doesn't mean they're crazy. There are hateful, awful people
- 19:42Speaker 1: and he might just be a hateful, awful person.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Well, also you see him psychologically destroying a woman. in
- 19:50Speaker 3: front of us, let alone what he must do to
- 19:54Speaker 3: his own kids in privacy. This is what he does
- 19:56Speaker 3: publicly to a woman. Think about what he would do
- 19:59Speaker 3: behind closed doors.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:01Speaker 3: So that was awful.
- 20:02Speaker 1: This was kind of interesting just for fun. She had
- 20:07Speaker 1: these pants on That someone caught, which are these shorts
- 20:12Speaker 1: that got a little hole in the front for a strap-on.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And she was wearing them out.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Because he likes to humiliate her.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He likes that.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Probably, but why would he?
- 20:21Speaker 1: He likes that. I mean, Amber Rose said that he
- 20:22Speaker 1: liked it in a tweet a long time ago.
- 20:24Speaker 3: She did? Yeah, that's fine.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I guess a lot of guys like that with girls
- 20:28Speaker 1: to be wearing strap-ons.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Well, we know he has a history of telling the
- 20:32Speaker 3: women that he's with what to wear. He likes to
- 20:35Speaker 3: control even all aspects of their life, including what they
- 20:38Speaker 3: can wear in public.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Right. Even with the Julia Fox, when she talked about
- 20:41Speaker 1: that one month with him. Kris Jenner is selling her $ 13. 5
- 20:46Speaker 1: million home. This is the black and white Florida home
- 20:50Speaker 1: that then she left and Rob has been living in
- 20:53Speaker 1: for like the last like eight years.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Oh, he has been.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Oh. And so she's selling that. And so I watched
- 21:01Speaker 1: the Hulu episode. latest episode of The Kardashians. This is
- 21:05Speaker 1: the premiere episode. I have not really watched it since
- 21:08Speaker 1: they've been on Hulu. Oh, really? And I just was like,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm like, I was looking around and it popped up
- 21:15Speaker 1: on Hulu. I'm like, I'm going to watch it. And
- 21:17Speaker 1: in the episode, Khloe goes over to Malika's house, her friend,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and they arrange for Lamar, her ex-husband, to come over
- 21:26Speaker 1: because she has some of his old stuff. And Obviously
- 21:31Speaker 1: they paid him to make this appearance and obviously he
- 21:34Speaker 1: needs the money to do it. So she gets over there.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You said you watched it too. And she says, I
- 21:41Speaker 1: haven't seen him in nine years. So when, so they
- 21:43Speaker 1: were divorced already when he went to the brothel in
- 21:48Speaker 1: Vegas and basically died and they brought him back to life.
- 21:52Speaker 1: He was on so many drugs and had a heart
- 21:54Speaker 1: or stroke, whatever. They, you know, the family gathered around.
- 21:59Speaker 1: They took care of him in the hospital. They found
- 22:01Speaker 1: another house in Calabasas. They got custom furniture made because
- 22:05Speaker 1: he's so tall. Took care of him and everything. And
- 22:08Speaker 1: she was kept coming over. And then she says in
- 22:10Speaker 1: the show, and then one day I came over and
- 22:11Speaker 1: he was doing stuff he shouldn't be doing. I assume
- 22:13Speaker 1: she means drugs. Yeah. So that's when she like kicked
- 22:16Speaker 1: him out. Hasn't seen him in nine years. I was
- 22:18Speaker 1: under the impression that he like was owning rehabs and stuff.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Or maybe he was the face of rehabs recently.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I feel like that. Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't know when this was filmed, but it felt
- 22:28Speaker 1: like that's maybe not what he's doing right now.
- 22:31Speaker 3: So was that in an attempt to do some sort
- 22:35Speaker 3: of brand crossover?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Like maximize marketing opportunities? No, they don't talk about the
- 22:39Speaker 1: rehab or anything. It seemed like he was kind of
- 22:41Speaker 1: fucked up, to be honest. So he comes over. He's
- 22:44Speaker 1: profusely sweating. And she's like, what? Are you going to
- 22:48Speaker 1: talk this low? Like, we're filming a show here. And
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm like, I remember when they had the Chloe Lamar show.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And it had to be all in subtitles because you couldn't.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He was a mumbler and you couldn't understand him. And
- 23:00Speaker 1: so I'm watching it with Peter and we went to
- 23:02Speaker 1: the wedding all those years ago after they'd only dated
- 23:05Speaker 1: for 30 days and got married, got married at the
- 23:09Speaker 1: Azov's house, Irving Azov's house.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Was everybody around you like, wait, what's going on? What's
- 23:14Speaker 3: happening here?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it seemed crazy, but it felt like.
- 23:19Speaker 3: She was like so in love with him. Here's the thing.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 23:21Speaker 1: It's all part of the mom. Like one thing about Chris,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and I remember thinking this, but I remember the first
- 23:26Speaker 1: time I met her and I was like, wait a minute.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Kim got married to this guy, Damon, who had four
- 23:30Speaker 1: kids when she was 18, secretly in Las Vegas. Like
- 23:36Speaker 1: you were going insane. And she was like, well, you know, I...
- 23:39Speaker 1: You know, no, I was going to be there for like,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I guess she didn't say this, but I guess she
- 23:43Speaker 1: figured I'm going to be there when they break up. Like,
- 23:45Speaker 1: so if I condemn her now and it's already done.
- 23:48Speaker 3: It's hard.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So I get that. It was already done. And then
- 23:51Speaker 1: she did break away. But in this particular one, I
- 23:55Speaker 1: feel like. From what I remember, Chloe really hadn't had
- 23:59Speaker 1: like a real boyfriend and he was so into her.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And he was it was like the height of the Lakers.
- 24:07Speaker 1: They had the show. I truly believe they were like
- 24:10Speaker 1: in love. And there's couples that get married that quickly
- 24:13Speaker 1: and everything. But here's what I'm going to say in
- 24:15Speaker 1: watching this interaction. Regardless if he had ever taken a
- 24:19Speaker 1: drug or cheated on her and they were married for
- 24:24Speaker 1: now 15 years and had two teenage kids, they'd be
- 24:28Speaker 1: divorced today.
- 24:29Speaker 3: For sure.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Because she... Was 24 and he was this basketball player
- 24:34Speaker 1: and it was sexy and it was fun. But he's
- 24:37Speaker 1: still stuck in that time. He's still stuck in that time.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He shows up wearing a shirt with himself on it
- 24:42Speaker 1: and she's embarrassed. She's like, oh, you're wearing yourself on
- 24:45Speaker 1: a shirt. And then she's like, can you speak up?
- 24:47Speaker 1: And she's like annoyed and not attracted at all. Like
- 24:51Speaker 1: purposely wore like jeans because he was always like rubbing
- 24:54Speaker 1: her legs and stuff like I remember. And so she
- 24:56Speaker 1: was like, I don't even want to like show my
- 24:58Speaker 1: legs or have them think that I'm like at all.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And yeah, like if they were together like any other couple,
- 25:03Speaker 1: she would have completely outgrown him. She, you know, is
- 25:06Speaker 1: a businesswoman. She's really smart. She's very likable, you know, and,
- 25:10Speaker 1: you know, huge with the American, good American gene company.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Everything else she's done.
- 25:16Speaker 3: And also a mom.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Also a mom.
- 25:18Speaker 3: She's like thinking about her own daughter. Like, why? What
- 25:22Speaker 3: am I doing here with this person who doesn't represent
- 25:25Speaker 3: who I am now?
- 25:26Speaker 1: I mean, listen, you know, not that she needed him
- 25:30Speaker 1: to have done drugs or almost died, but sometimes you
- 25:34Speaker 1: got to be grateful for someone treating you so badly
- 25:37Speaker 1: that you could walk away. Because if he didn't do
- 25:40Speaker 1: all those awful things, if he, like I said, never
- 25:44Speaker 1: cheated on you, You know, and they were lamb, lamb,
- 25:47Speaker 1: and she's got that loyalty. She probably would be in
- 25:50Speaker 1: a marriage with a guy that she totally does not respect,
- 25:54Speaker 1: is annoyed by, and thinks is dumb.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I think that's why everyone likes her so much is
- 25:58Speaker 3: that they just want her to win so much.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm like she should seriously be grateful that
- 26:03Speaker 1: he showed himself so quickly on before she had his kid.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And everything else, because then she probably would have given
- 26:11Speaker 1: him a million extra chances because he's the dad and da-da-da-da,
- 26:15Speaker 1: or she would have been doing all that stuff for
- 26:17Speaker 1: his family.
- 26:18Speaker 3: You know, it would be interesting to hear her give
- 26:22Speaker 3: advice to, like, Paige DeSorbo.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Because, like— People are so in arms about Paige and
- 26:29Speaker 3: Craig breaking up and the reason they must have.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Yeah, here we got Paige, and let's jump to that. Paige,
- 26:36Speaker 1: of course, we've talked about. She's from Summer House. He's
- 26:39Speaker 1: from Southern Charm. We talked about their breakup. He went
- 26:43Speaker 1: on Watch What Happens Live recently, and I thought it
- 26:45Speaker 1: was really great because he shared, yeah, she did break
- 26:49Speaker 1: up with me. And then I did do an interview
- 26:52Speaker 1: a couple of days after she broke up with me,
- 26:55Speaker 1: but we weren't public and I didn't know if we
- 26:58Speaker 1: possibly could get back together. So I played along that
- 27:00Speaker 1: we weren't broken up, but that seemed to irritate her.
- 27:04Speaker 1: So he was responding to a podcast that she did
- 27:08Speaker 1: where she's like, I didn't cheat and you knew we
- 27:11Speaker 1: were broken up and you still acted like we didn't.
- 27:13Speaker 1: So now he has to respond to that. But the
- 27:16Speaker 1: thing that he said, I watched what happens live, which
- 27:18Speaker 1: was really good. And he's like, Am I supposed to
- 27:22Speaker 1: defend what people are saying like on Reddit?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Like I was very– you know, he was very classy
- 27:30Speaker 1: when they broke up. He's been classy this whole time.
- 27:34Speaker 1: He doesn't know if there was something else going on.
- 27:37Speaker 1: She's gone up and down and said it hasn't been.
- 27:39Speaker 1: There's somebody named Joe people think she's seeing or saw.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Who cares? They're broken up. They had a nice three-year
- 27:46Speaker 1: relationship that didn't last forever. They're both likeable.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Well, I think you and I kind of agree on this,
- 27:51Speaker 3: that sometimes there's a person that's great to date, but
- 27:53Speaker 3: not to marry.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And it's easy to get married. It's hard to get divorced.
- 27:57Speaker 3: So I feel like Chloe would say, count this as
- 28:00Speaker 3: a blessing that you guys were able to figure out
- 28:03Speaker 3: this now and save each other the headache. Because I
- 28:07Speaker 3: think he ultimately wants to get married and have kids.
- 28:09Speaker 3: And she didn't feel like it was the right time
- 28:11Speaker 3: and place or whatever. It's a blessing in the end.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Because it leads them to the person they're supposed to
- 28:17Speaker 3: be with.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And she probably was like, why am I resisting this?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 1: There's a reason why. You know, it's like when someone,
- 28:24Speaker 1: you know, like when you're dating a bunch of people.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I remember when I asked my sister when she was
- 28:29Speaker 1: dating her husband and then they got, you know, engaged
- 28:32Speaker 1: or whatever. I'm like, well, how do you know he's
- 28:33Speaker 1: the one? Like we've dated, we both have dated so
- 28:35Speaker 1: many people. And she's like, because it's easy. Like I
- 28:38Speaker 1: didn't have to think about one thing. I didn't have
- 28:40Speaker 1: to think about if he was into me. I didn't
- 28:42Speaker 1: have to think if I was into him. I didn't
- 28:43Speaker 1: have to think.
- 28:44Speaker 3: True.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Will he make a good husband? Are we going to
- 28:46Speaker 1: have a night? Like I just didn't have it. There
- 28:48Speaker 1: was no, you know, and that's why where I think
- 28:51Speaker 1: it was like. And then also you have, you know,
- 28:54Speaker 1: it's hard when you're a public figure, a couple that's
- 28:57Speaker 1: like loved like them.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So you have all the people cheering them on and
- 29:01Speaker 1: all the people like can't wait for it. And I
- 29:04Speaker 1: think she really did have fun and liked him and everything.
- 29:06Speaker 3: You can't stay with somebody because you don't want to
- 29:09Speaker 3: disappoint other people.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:11Speaker 3: You can't. You've got to live for your– I think
- 29:13Speaker 3: they should make her the bachelorette because they put the
- 29:16Speaker 3: bachelorette on hold for another year. And I think it's
- 29:19Speaker 3: because Gen Trans season was so bad.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I didn't even hear about it.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Exactly. So they usually go off the success of the
- 29:25Speaker 3: last season to propel the new one. They should make
- 29:28Speaker 3: Paige the new bachelorette because then you could have Hannah
- 29:31Speaker 3: Berner and all of her friends kind of come and participate.
- 29:34Speaker 3: It would help that show grow. but they should give
- 29:37Speaker 3: Craig a spinoff on Bravo. dating show. And I think
- 29:42Speaker 3: the women would come out of the woodwork to want
- 29:44Speaker 3: to date him.
- 29:44Speaker 1: The only thing about having Paige on is that she's
- 29:47Speaker 1: just– I'm never going to believe that she's into any
- 29:51Speaker 1: guy that would go on The Bachelor.
- 29:52Speaker 3: But that would be so funny. We're not thinking she's
- 29:55Speaker 3: going to marry somebody. I'm just saying entertaining TV– like
- 29:59Speaker 3: her quips.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It should just be a show.
- 30:01Speaker 3: So funny.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Who will Paige go on a one week vacation with?
- 30:05Speaker 1: Because that's going to, then it's like, Okay. Because we
- 30:09Speaker 1: all know she's never going to marry some guy that
- 30:11Speaker 1: was at that level of thirst to go on The
- 30:14Speaker 1: Bachelor and leave whatever. And if he did it, he
- 30:16Speaker 1: didn't have a good enough job. He's not a power enough,
- 30:19Speaker 1: low enough person with his own.
- 30:21Speaker 3: The good people at The Bachelor don't think those relationships
- 30:23Speaker 3: will last either. They just want to make an entertaining
- 30:25Speaker 3: TV show. So I think that would be entertaining.
- 30:27Speaker 1: But I was thinking for her own brand, she can't.
- 30:29Speaker 1: She doesn't want to be inauthentic to her people.
- 30:32Speaker 3: So it has to.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Be something just like, okay, I'm picking.
- 30:36Speaker 3: A guy that I— It would be a two-year commitment, too.
- 30:39Speaker 3: They might try to say, well, you can't film anything else.
- 30:41Speaker 3: And she's got too much power. She's got too much
- 30:42Speaker 3: power going on.
- 30:43Speaker 1: And it's like, I don't think she wants to— and also she's,
- 30:46Speaker 1: you know, I guess she's freezing her eggs or whatever.
- 30:48Speaker 1: But still, that doesn't give you all the time in
- 30:50Speaker 1: the world. You're still like, you know. But still, it
- 30:52Speaker 1: does buy you some time. So if you freeze your eggs, you.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Can— She should marry the person that she feels right.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Take out all the noise.
- 31:00Speaker 1: She should have some fun for like another year and
- 31:03Speaker 1: a half.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But whatever. So that was kind of interesting.
- 31:07Speaker 3: You know who the horniest people are?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Who?
- 31:09Speaker 3: Those that are newly single. Sometimes divorced women, but like
- 31:12Speaker 3: newly single and women that are ovulating. Horniest.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I know. I've been there five times.
- 31:21Speaker 5: From morning swims in Sandy Cove to coffee in Ranala
- 31:24Speaker 5: or walks along Sandy Mount Strand. At a certain point,
- 31:28Speaker 5: where you live shapes how you live.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Maybe you want.
- 31:31Speaker 5: More space, a shorter commute or simply somewhere that feels
- 31:34Speaker 5: more like where you are now. On daft.ie, you can
- 31:38Speaker 5: explore the most sought after homes for sale across South Dublin.
- 31:42Speaker 5: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 31:45Speaker 5: number one property platform.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Daft.ie i'm darman and this is what happens next each
- 31:52Speaker 2: week on the show i sit down with extraordinary people
- 31:55Speaker 2: who have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found
- 31:59Speaker 2: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson yeah of chaos I'm heading
- 32:06Speaker 1: to the Emmys and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 32:09Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 32:11Speaker 1: what would.
- 32:11Speaker 3: You do if it was given back?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 32:16Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 32:19Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I need a home dad. What happens next? When I
- 32:22Speaker 3: came in, he started crying.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 32:26Speaker 2: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 32:29Speaker 2: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 32:32Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Listen, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 32:38Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 32:40Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 32:54Speaker 1: Okay, so today... After recording this, this is not out,
- 33:01Speaker 1: but apparently Justin Baldoni did a podcast where there's a
- 33:05Speaker 1: clip and he gets very emotional. It's called like The
- 33:08Speaker 1: Two Gents or something. I've never heard of it.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Gents Talk.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Jen's talk. I thought it was like.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Breaking news.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I thought he agreed to give his one and only
- 33:17Speaker 1: interview to probably this guy either he gave Justin a
- 33:22Speaker 1: kidney we don't know about.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Or at one time they were lovers.
- 33:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Because I'm like, who is... You're not going to go...
- 33:30Speaker 1: To like Joe Rogan, you're not going to go to
- 33:32Speaker 1: like something where everyone's going to hear your side in
- 33:35Speaker 1: like a half a second. We're going to have to
- 33:37Speaker 1: search it out. But you told me it's your understanding
- 33:39Speaker 1: that this was recorded a while ago.
- 33:41Speaker 3: November of last year.
- 33:43Speaker 1: So he alludes to- Before the lawsuit.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Before the lawsuit.
- 33:45Speaker 1: But after the trauma.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Before the lawsuit and the complaint, but alludes to.
- 33:49Speaker 1: But after the bad PR and all that.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Anxiety, a very difficult year. So at this point, everyone's
- 33:54Speaker 3: looking for any social media clip. And I don't know
- 33:58Speaker 3: why that show didn't put the interview out in November
- 34:01Speaker 3: of 2024? That to me is a big question.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Maybe they were just like, yeah, like I know I
- 34:05Speaker 1: would have been like the minute, but maybe that's, that's
- 34:07Speaker 1: the lesson to people. Like maybe wait till it even
- 34:10Speaker 1: gets bigger to plop it. Um, you know, uh, I mean,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I think about that. What is the part that he's
- 34:18Speaker 1: crying about? It's just like, you know, his dog died.
- 34:22Speaker 1: It wasn't even like had anything to do with like,
- 34:26Speaker 1: You know, I was treated so badly on this last
- 34:28Speaker 1: project I did or whatever. So AI found this. This
- 34:33Speaker 1: is what they're saying. This is from truthorlie.ai or whatever.
- 34:38Speaker 1: So this is a video of Blake doing another interview.
- 34:42Speaker 1: There's so many coming up. And she says that the
- 34:45Speaker 1: rooftop scene was written 90% by Ryan Reynolds and And
- 34:52Speaker 1: I totally believe that with the crypto bro line and
- 34:55Speaker 1: the laughing and all this other stuff. Because she felt
- 34:58Speaker 1: that her character wouldn't have fallen for this gorgeous... Neurosurgeon.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Neurosurgeon that looks perfect while you're.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Hanging out on a... Or something like she would have...
- 35:09Speaker 3: That her character, Lily Bloom, would have noticed red flags earlier?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Or would have busted his balls? No. Like, anyway. So
- 35:16Speaker 1: she says that it was him. So I'm like, okay,
- 35:18Speaker 1: so now.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You know, now we know like Taylor has all these
- 35:23Speaker 1: reports had come out before the Super Bowl that she
- 35:25Speaker 1: didn't invite Blake and Ryan to the Super Bowl. But
- 35:28Speaker 1: also that she's like annoyed. And why are you bragging
- 35:31Speaker 1: me into this weird thing? I'd be pissed too.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I think she just thought it was like, you know,
- 35:35Speaker 1: she had this fun friend. It's fun to have a
- 35:37Speaker 1: famous friend. They probably had some chuckles and laughs. For her,
- 35:41Speaker 1: it was cool to be around. Like she probably loved
- 35:43Speaker 1: Deadpool as well. Thought he was funny. Came over and
- 35:46Speaker 1: was like, oh, my God, how cool that I'm seeing
- 35:48Speaker 1: this script before. Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Like what?
- 35:51Speaker 1: She's basically saying, yeah, it's Ryan. And we know how
- 35:55Speaker 1: Ryan writes stuff and everything. We know that then at
- 35:57Speaker 1: the same time the movie was even done, he decided
- 36:01Speaker 1: to add this whole nice pool character, which was making
- 36:03Speaker 1: fun of Justin. Can you imagine? There's so many clips
- 36:09Speaker 1: of her telling on herself that it's unbelievable.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Can you imagine he gets rights to the movie in 2019?
- 36:15Speaker 3: You work all of those years. This is your project.
- 36:19Speaker 3: You're like, this is my launch pad to something. And
- 36:21Speaker 3: then to have someone rewrite, redo things, it's just like
- 36:26Speaker 3: slipping through your fingers. It's like quicksand, right? Like you
- 36:30Speaker 3: thought you had something and then it's just disappearing in
- 36:32Speaker 3: front of you.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah. So, you know, I mean, listen, if the trial
- 36:37Speaker 1: doesn't go on, you know.
- 36:38Speaker 3: I actually, I'm starting to think the trial will happen.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I know there's a 92% chance of settlement, but. Right.
- 36:44Speaker 3: At this point, where so many people are invested in
- 36:46Speaker 3: the story, you have to have both sides to agree
- 36:49Speaker 3: to settlement. And at this point... I don't know.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's weird that we don't have all the stories in
- 36:54Speaker 1: the clips of people being like, I worked with Justin
- 36:58Speaker 1: and he's a nightmare.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I still feel like.
- 37:00Speaker 1: So where are those?
- 37:01Speaker 3: I wish we could fast forward to the end of
- 37:03Speaker 3: it all because we don't have all of the discovery,
- 37:05Speaker 3: you know? So it's hard really to say who wins
- 37:08Speaker 3: at this point. But at this point, in terms of
- 37:10Speaker 3: a PR war, it does feel like he's winning.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 37:14Speaker 3: And they're... Two aspects of it that I find really interesting,
- 37:18Speaker 3: obviously the power dynamic. I think a lot of people
- 37:20Speaker 3: can relate to that in a place of business where
- 37:23Speaker 3: you may have to placate someone because there's a difference
- 37:26Speaker 3: in power. But the other part of it is, and
- 37:28Speaker 3: you totally relate to this, is how traditional PR has
- 37:33Speaker 3: changed in an internet era. Like the internet is almost
- 37:38Speaker 3: like a destruction machine. And you have old school publicists
- 37:42Speaker 3: who used to represent maybe a couple A-listers who could
- 37:46Speaker 3: make a call to a traditional media company and say,
- 37:49Speaker 3: kill this story or do a softball interview, and then
- 37:53Speaker 3: I'll give you access to my other client. And they
- 37:55Speaker 3: need content, so they're a little bit more willing to placate.
- 37:59Speaker 3: But now everyone in the comments has their own social
- 38:02Speaker 3: media channels.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:03Speaker 3: So Mary816 on TikTok is like, I don't give a
- 38:07Speaker 3: shit who you are, publicist. I'm going to say what
- 38:09Speaker 3: I want because my opinion is getting attention. And the
- 38:12Speaker 3: more controversial opinion that you have on in the Internet,
- 38:15Speaker 3: the more virality you have. So that to me is
- 38:18Speaker 3: what's really interesting, too, is the power shift in traditional
- 38:23Speaker 3: media versus the social media era. Yeah, totally.
- 38:28Speaker 1: And, you know, and just like she got wrapped up
- 38:32Speaker 1: in like, you know, this vengefulness to go after her
- 38:36Speaker 1: and Ryan, to go after Justin, because she felt there
- 38:40Speaker 1: was whatever, a campaign against her, or she was reading
- 38:44Speaker 1: the hate pages about herself. And we've all been there.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And it is, it gets in your head. And that
- 38:51Speaker 1: same thing happened with like Paige and Craig, you know,
- 38:54Speaker 1: they were reading their own weird stuff of people saying,
- 38:58Speaker 1: and she, Paige was probably like, I didn't cheat. And then,
- 39:02Speaker 1: you know, it's like, well, why aren't you defending, why
- 39:05Speaker 1: aren't you standing up, Craig, and saying, hey, she didn't cheat?
- 39:07Speaker 1: And he's like, who's saying this story? Some random, like,
- 39:11Speaker 1: blind item that then had, you know, 300 comments under it?
- 39:15Speaker 1: And I've been there, too, where someone's like, you need
- 39:18Speaker 1: to stand up and be like, settle down, juicy scoopers.
- 39:21Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, I'm not drawing attention to something
- 39:24Speaker 1: that's not significant. There's no proof to it. There's nothing,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you know, it isn't attributable. trial. It's not. It's just
- 39:32Speaker 1: the talk. But when you're in it, it can be consuming.
- 39:36Speaker 1: It can be really hard. And it really is important
- 39:38Speaker 1: that when someone is in that place, that they really
- 39:40Speaker 1: just put away their phone for a couple of weeks.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I think in a lot of cases, the best crisis
- 39:46Speaker 3: PR advice you can give to a client is to
- 39:48Speaker 3: play the short game is to just disappear for a while.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 3: But for somebody who is an actor who is getting,
- 39:56Speaker 3: feeds off, you know, the attention from their work and
- 40:00Speaker 3: their personality, that's near.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Impossible for them. You know, Stassi did it really well.
- 40:05Speaker 3: She did do it well.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Because, because she went away for a little bit and
- 40:09Speaker 1: then she was pregnant and just walking around and she's
- 40:13Speaker 1: with her husband or maybe they weren't married yet, but
- 40:16Speaker 1: they were together and she's pregnant and, It just it
- 40:21Speaker 1: showed like, wait a minute, like we we love this girl.
- 40:24Speaker 1: She's giving us entertainment now. She's finally becoming a mom.
- 40:26Speaker 3: But it also offered her the opportunity to have some
- 40:29Speaker 3: introspection and to have a moment and recalibrate and think
- 40:32Speaker 3: about where she wanted to move her career. And didn't
- 40:34Speaker 3: she write books after that?
- 40:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, she really had a like she really
- 40:38Speaker 1: had a great comeback from what that time of like
- 40:42Speaker 1: quick to cancel people was, you know, that 2020 time.
- 40:47Speaker 1: But like in this, now because you've put out this
- 40:54Speaker 1: lawsuit that anyone now can talk about, you chose to
- 40:58Speaker 1: do it this way thinking that they would either just
- 41:01Speaker 1: crush him or he'd skittle away or whatever. And he didn't.
- 41:05Speaker 3: And now all of your personal text messages, emails, personal
- 41:11Speaker 3: communication is all fair game.
- 41:12Speaker 1: And I think we've all been there in this business
- 41:14Speaker 1: where people are like, you should sue. You should sue
- 41:17Speaker 1: for defamation. And there's times where you're like, yeah, fuck
- 41:20Speaker 1: this motherfucker. And then you think about it and you're like, okay,
- 41:23Speaker 1: wait a minute. What does that really look like? What
- 41:26Speaker 1: would that really gain for me?
- 41:27Speaker 3: You're going to spend so much money on these lawsuits.
- 41:30Speaker 1: And where is this going to keep me up at night? Yes.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Is this going to be creatively debilitating for me? Yes.
- 41:38Speaker 1: So it's better sometimes to lick your wounds and just
- 41:40Speaker 1: shut the fuck up and go away.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Yeah. It'll also be interesting to see the two different worlds,
- 41:45Speaker 3: like the implications for them in the public spotlight, but
- 41:50Speaker 3: also within the entertainment industry.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Like how many people who have positions of power in
- 41:56Speaker 3: the entertainment industry want to work with either of them?
- 41:59Speaker 1: The other thing I saw someone talk about is how
- 42:02Speaker 1: like millennial couples, them being one of them, and they
- 42:05Speaker 1: were kind of leaders of it, would like talk about
- 42:08Speaker 1: like how they like hate their spouses or hate their kids.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Like he has all these like tweets and funny jokes about.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I think he's just odd that way.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Of like, you know, you know, not liking his wife. Yeah,
- 42:19Speaker 1: like his kids or she said, you know, he'd leave
- 42:22Speaker 1: me in a burning building or whatever.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, in other words, if they
- 42:26Speaker 3: weren't famous and you saw those comments, you'd be like,
- 42:28Speaker 3: what a weirdo.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:31Speaker 1: They just get into this thing where she, again, I
- 42:33Speaker 1: just don't think she's anywhere to the level that like
- 42:37Speaker 1: Scarlett Johansson was as far as like intellectually stimulating.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Also, by doing all this, it almost opens the door
- 42:46Speaker 3: for people to start. picking away at their marriage dynamics
- 42:50Speaker 3: and whether or not there are control issues. So that's
- 42:54Speaker 3: the decision that unfortunately some people make in the pursuit
- 42:58Speaker 3: of a lawsuit, that there's this other aftermath that comes
- 43:02Speaker 3: with it.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I don't even know if it's possible. She could now
- 43:06Speaker 1: just go to him, have them go and be like,
- 43:09Speaker 1: what can we do? Because it's like there's too much
- 43:12Speaker 1: pain that has been caused.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 1: It's like if right away she was like, OK, I'm
- 43:17Speaker 1: taking it back or whatever. But now there's too much
- 43:21Speaker 1: that he'd be like, no, because now he only has
- 43:24Speaker 1: something to gain. He already lost the three jobs. He
- 43:26Speaker 1: already got dumped by William Morse. Now he is producing
- 43:30Speaker 1: Scarlett Johansson's first directorial debut. Now the work is going
- 43:34Speaker 1: to start to come. Everybody's like now he's the underdog
- 43:38Speaker 1: to settle. Like now it's like, go for it. Now
- 43:40Speaker 1: everyone is like, no, he's a really nice guy. And
- 43:42Speaker 1: this was like absolutely awful. So, meanwhile, Blake Lively and
- 43:47Speaker 1: Anna Kendrick. When does this movie, A Simple Favor 2,
- 43:50Speaker 1: come out?
- 43:50Speaker 3: I'm not going to watch it, so I don't know.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I guess she didn't die in it. I guess it
- 43:54Speaker 1: was like her twin sister that died or something. I
- 43:56Speaker 1: don't know.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I don't even know what the movie's about.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Oh, I loved the movie because she played like a
- 44:00Speaker 1: bitch in it. It was just perfect. And they have
- 44:04Speaker 1: weird moments on the couches doing interviews, too. Every interview
- 44:08Speaker 1: that– Blake Lively does is weird. But they're saying they
- 44:12Speaker 1: don't have any beef. They're good. And I'm like, of course,
- 44:14Speaker 1: Anna Kendrick's going to be.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Like, we don't have any beef. they got to promote
- 44:16Speaker 3: the movie. Yeah.
- 44:17Speaker 1: And like, again, don't drag me into your bullshit. You know,
- 44:21Speaker 1: what do you think? They said that Jenny Slate, who
- 44:23Speaker 1: plays Justin's sister in the movie and her best friend,
- 44:28Speaker 1: it ends with us, that she would be called for
- 44:32Speaker 1: to be deposed from both sides because originally right off
- 44:35Speaker 1: the bat, she was team Blake. Now she's probably like, God, keep.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Me out of this. I mean, without question. She's like,
- 44:43Speaker 3: this is a nightmare.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I chose the wrong side.
- 44:46Speaker 3: I chose the wrong movie to work on.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:49Speaker 3: My friend Hillary Shepard has the funniest term. Actresses that
- 44:53Speaker 3: basically play themselves in every role are self-actresses. Is that it?
- 44:59Speaker 3: I feel like Blake is like that. Like the roles
- 45:01Speaker 3: that she really nails are the ones where that's mostly her.
- 45:05Speaker 3: That's why she says in those clips like, I weave
- 45:07Speaker 3: myself into it. It's like, you're actually cast for roles
- 45:10Speaker 3: that probably you're much like.
- 45:12Speaker 1: And I think all the weird choices for the clothes
- 45:14Speaker 1: was her trying not to be herself. So she was like,
- 45:18Speaker 1: oh my God, that's great. Like this funky kind of
- 45:21Speaker 1: dressing with the two pants and all that.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Tell them about the pantyhose thing you told me in
- 45:25Speaker 3: the pajamas.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Oh, yes. So, okay. So after the first night that
- 45:30Speaker 1: they like, spend the night together. I don't know if
- 45:33Speaker 1: they bone or just whatever, but she comes out wearing
- 45:35Speaker 1: pajamas and that's when the sister discovers that they hung
- 45:40Speaker 1: out together, whatever. She's wearing pajamas and someone discovered that
- 45:44Speaker 1: she has her black fishnets on under the silky pajamas
- 45:48Speaker 1: after spending the night with Justin Baldoni's character for the
- 45:51Speaker 1: first time. So in the movie, she's wearing fishnets with
- 45:56Speaker 1: these $ 2, 700 Yves Saint Laurent fishnet diamond boots. Stupid. That
- 46:02Speaker 1: she wears to the party. And so that means either
- 46:05Speaker 1: they messed around with the fishnets on and then she
- 46:09Speaker 1: put on pajamas and slept with fishnets and pajamas on.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Or as you said, or you're just a lazy actress.
- 46:16Speaker 1: You're a lazy actress and also that the wardrobe person
- 46:19Speaker 1: at that point had checked out and wasn't looking at
- 46:22Speaker 1: like a consistency moment like that.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Like, wait, wait, wait.
- 46:26Speaker 1: You know, remember this is, you know, there's always this
- 46:29Speaker 1: stuff that happens when you, like, film the other scene.
- 46:31Speaker 1: They have to check and make sure, like, the hair
- 46:33Speaker 1: is exactly the same or, like, your collar was out,
- 46:36Speaker 1: not in. And then there was, like, We took a
- 46:38Speaker 1: class at SC where we would like figure out, oh
- 46:41Speaker 1: my God, that's an edit mistake. Look, they went back
- 46:43Speaker 1: and now the sheet's off her boom. Now it's on,
- 46:46Speaker 1: like all this weird stuff. And you see it in
- 46:48Speaker 1: reality shows too. And that's when you know, or like
- 46:51Speaker 1: the nail, like you know they actually went back and
- 46:54Speaker 1: redid a whole scene when you see that like the
- 46:56Speaker 1: nail polish is a different color or a whole nail
- 46:59Speaker 1: is chipped or something. Yeah. That's when you're like, oh,
- 47:02Speaker 1: they redid that. You know, they had them come.
- 47:05Speaker 5: And show up.
- 47:05Speaker 3: That made me laugh when you said that. Or you're
- 47:06Speaker 3: just like a lazy actress.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you're just lazy. You're like, well, I don't feel
- 47:10Speaker 1: like taking these off and I'm just going to keep
- 47:12Speaker 1: these on because we just filmed the other scene with
- 47:14Speaker 1: the fishnets on. So, yeah, very weird shit like that.
- 47:18Speaker 1: This was interesting. This is from the first degree TikTokers
- 47:23Speaker 1: or maybe they have a show.
- 47:24Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 47:25Speaker 1: But they brought up.
- 47:26Speaker 3: She's so pretty, that actress.
- 47:27Speaker 1: This girl, Marina Baccarin. She was in the latest Deadpool.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 47:34Speaker 1: And there was a blind item saying that they were
- 47:38Speaker 1: not getting along a while back.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 47:41Speaker 1: And she was not part of the press. And she
- 47:45Speaker 1: was on the red carpet like by herself.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Let's get her on the horn.
- 47:49Speaker 1: And so something happened there where– Maybe, you know, he
- 47:55Speaker 1: either didn't like her or maybe Blake was jealous of
- 47:59Speaker 1: that and it was a tit for tat. Like, she's
- 48:02Speaker 1: not going to be part of it or who knows?
- 48:04Speaker 1: Who knows why this rumor and if it's in fact true.
- 48:09Speaker 1: We haven't heard from her. I don't know. But I
- 48:11Speaker 1: would like someone to delve more into it. But the
- 48:14Speaker 1: first degree girls figured it out first. But here it is. Yeah.
- 48:18Speaker 1: What happened there? What was her experience and why wasn't
- 48:20Speaker 1: she involved? a bigger part of like doing press with him.
- 48:24Speaker 3: And that's awful too. With Ryan. And I, by the way, again,
- 48:27Speaker 3: I feel like people relate to that in all kinds
- 48:28Speaker 3: of businesses that you're in. Like when somebody has more
- 48:31Speaker 3: power than you and you feel like you can't say
- 48:34Speaker 3: your honest opinion because it's going to create a situation
- 48:37Speaker 3: where you're not hired for a new job.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Like, yeah, especially as a woman, you never want to
- 48:42Speaker 1: be perceived as difficult, like difficult. Like I remember I
- 48:48Speaker 1: was doing a, um, I was doing a show at
- 48:51Speaker 1: a comedy store in San Diego. And there was a
- 48:56Speaker 1: comedy condo. And I was with my friend who was
- 48:59Speaker 1: opening for me. And it was the condo. It was
- 49:01Speaker 1: like the middle part. And then we each had our
- 49:04Speaker 1: own bedrooms. And we said goodnight. And she was going
- 49:09Speaker 1: to leave early in the morning. And I went to bed.
- 49:12Speaker 1: And then I heard the front door open and shut.
- 49:16Speaker 1: And I was like, well, I know she hasn't left
- 49:17Speaker 1: yet because it's like 1.30 p.m. like, that's weird. And
- 49:21Speaker 1: I just remember like God like said to me, just
- 49:24Speaker 1: stay quiet. Just stay quiet. And so I did. And
- 49:28Speaker 1: I just told myself she must have just been checking
- 49:32Speaker 1: her suitcase or something in the hallway. And I just
- 49:35Speaker 1: told myself that. I didn't call out to her or anything.
- 49:38Speaker 1: So the next morning I wake up and she's gone
- 49:41Speaker 1: and flying back to Denver. And I start driving and
- 49:46Speaker 1: I go, oh, did you make it there? Yes. And
- 49:49Speaker 1: she goes, the weirdest thing happened last night. She goes,
- 49:51Speaker 1: I feel like someone came in our condo. And I go,
- 49:56Speaker 1: that wasn't you opening the front door? And she's like, no.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 50:00Speaker 1: And so we talked about it. And I'm like, we
- 50:03Speaker 1: thought somebody at the club maybe. They didn't change the
- 50:06Speaker 1: combo because they're supposed to do it every week, like
- 50:08Speaker 1: an Airbnb or whatever. And maybe they thought we weren't
- 50:12Speaker 1: staying there and they could stay there for the night
- 50:15Speaker 1: or maybe something more sinister was going on. on this
- 50:18Speaker 1: person's mind, I don't know. And then of course my
- 50:21Speaker 1: mind went to a whole different way of like, oh
- 50:24Speaker 1: my God, what if I had come out? I'm like,
- 50:27Speaker 1: and you heard me being killed, would you have jumped
- 50:28Speaker 1: out the window of yours? I thought of all the
- 50:32Speaker 1: crazy shit because I would have been like, what the
- 50:34Speaker 1: hell are you doing? And then the guy freaks out
- 50:36Speaker 1: thinking I'm gonna get him fired at the comedy.
- 50:39Speaker 3: Club or whatever.
- 50:41Speaker 1: So I think about it and at the time, This
- 50:46Speaker 1: is only like a few years ago. I was so
- 50:48Speaker 1: conscious of like not being difficult as a female, as
- 50:52Speaker 1: a female comic, you know, whatever. So I finally tell,
- 50:56Speaker 1: I look and I see that another girl is headlining
- 50:59Speaker 1: in like two weeks. And I'm like, I got to
- 51:02Speaker 1: say something. I see that maybe it was Taylor Tomlinson
- 51:05Speaker 1: that was coming. And so I told my agent and
- 51:09Speaker 1: he was like, Heather, my God, no, you have to
- 51:11Speaker 1: tell me this, you know. And, but it was like,
- 51:16Speaker 1: I just was like, again, you know, you I'd had
- 51:20Speaker 1: things like happen, like where I knew that sometimes I
- 51:23Speaker 1: didn't get asked back because someone was like.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Oh, she was annoying.
- 51:27Speaker 1: She asked too much that, you know, like it was like.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Meanwhile, you're like, can I have a water?
- 51:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Like there was this one thing that we did
- 51:35Speaker 1: in Vegas that a lot of female comics did. And
- 51:39Speaker 1: part of the package was like, you could have, go
- 51:43Speaker 1: to the nightclub and do all this stuff. And so
- 51:45Speaker 1: I took advantage of all that, but that meant people coming,
- 51:48Speaker 1: following us, seating us there and all that stuff. And
- 51:51Speaker 1: then I found out that other female comics were doing
- 51:53Speaker 1: the gig by themselves and going up to the room
- 51:55Speaker 1: and going to sleep. And I was like, that person
- 51:58Speaker 1: is a much easier person to deal with though. You
- 52:01Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Like, The girl that came alone
- 52:03Speaker 1: that was like, no, I don't need you. I don't
- 52:05Speaker 1: need security to take me to the club. And I
- 52:07Speaker 1: don't need all of this. And I don't need you
- 52:09Speaker 1: to call into the club and say, save me my table.
- 52:11Speaker 1: And so then I was like, oh, my God. I
- 52:14Speaker 1: wonder if, like, those people talk and somehow– and you
- 52:17Speaker 1: never know.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Like, you never know.
- 52:19Speaker 1: So it gets in your head. And so now you're
- 52:21Speaker 1: this actress and you get a feel that maybe, like,
- 52:24Speaker 1: Ryan doesn't like you or whatever. And you just are like,
- 52:27Speaker 1: I'll just do whatever I'm supposed to do.
- 52:29Speaker 3: God forbid she's in the same agency and she– complains, like,
- 52:32Speaker 3: does she lose representation because she says something?
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:37Speaker 3: I mean, there are a lot of ripple effects.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I know. And it's no way to prove it because
- 52:42Speaker 1: it's like, if you do speak up and complain or something,
- 52:47Speaker 1: they're like, oh my God, I'm so glad that you
- 52:50Speaker 1: shared this. You absolutely could. But then they're also like,
- 52:55Speaker 1: And if your agent is a man, too, it's like
- 53:00Speaker 1: when you would tell your, you know, male high school teacher,
- 53:02Speaker 1: can I go to the bathroom? I have my period.
- 53:04Speaker 1: And they're like, like, sometimes guys just don't want to
- 53:07Speaker 1: hear anything that's like. Anything least but uncomfortable. And then
- 53:12Speaker 1: also we're into a legal thing. If there's any kind of,
- 53:15Speaker 1: you know, harassment, sexual harassment, abuse of powers, anything like that.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Also, the sad realization, I think, that we're all kind
- 53:23Speaker 3: of realizing is that it really is about how high
- 53:26Speaker 3: someone is in the food chain. Oh, my God.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I just remember another awful story. When I was working
- 53:29Speaker 1: on Keenan Everway and it's my first writing job.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 53:34Speaker 1: It was hard. It was my first writing job and
- 53:36Speaker 1: I wasn't really getting the vibe of like what I
- 53:39Speaker 1: was supposed to be doing or whatever. And the agents
- 53:42Speaker 1: were these young agents and they were like so excited
- 53:44Speaker 1: to be like, we got this 27-year-old writer like a
- 53:46Speaker 1: real writer's guild job. So I guess they were like
- 53:48Speaker 1: trying to like prove that they had some power. So anyway,
- 53:51Speaker 1: I think I was like having a hard time getting along.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I felt like I just like, you know, entered a
- 53:55Speaker 1: new school or something and I just was like a dork.
- 53:59Speaker 1: And so they showed up to like talk to the–
- 54:04Speaker 1: the producer ahead of the writers to kind of be like,
- 54:07Speaker 1: you know, Heather's not comfortable or whatever. And I remember
- 54:11Speaker 1: one of the male writers who became my friend and
- 54:14Speaker 1: we worked on other projects, came in and was like
- 54:17Speaker 1: screaming at me and was like, you're fucking with our
- 54:20Speaker 1: fucking livelihood and stuff. And I'm like, I didn't even
- 54:24Speaker 1: mean to complain. They were just asking me how it
- 54:26Speaker 1: was going and I was stupid enough to be honest.
- 54:28Speaker 5: Right.
- 54:29Speaker 1: And I was like, well, I feel awkward or, you know,
- 54:32Speaker 1: they got mad at me for this one thing. They
- 54:34Speaker 1: thought I like, you know, whatever. And I was just
- 54:38Speaker 1: like a bag of nerves. I was like, this is.
- 54:42Speaker 1: And then I was like, now these people hate me
- 54:44Speaker 1: because I spoke up and I look like this little
- 54:47Speaker 1: like annoying person and who's not even really contributing that
- 54:51Speaker 1: much to begin with because I'm like, don't understand how
- 54:53Speaker 1: this works. Yeah. It's really hard.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Or if you are working at a company and you
- 54:58Speaker 3: want a promotion or you want more, you know, to
- 55:02Speaker 3: be paid better, any sort of thing like that, you
- 55:05Speaker 3: can get a reputation as being too needy or difficult.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Sometimes it's hard, but sometimes you have to decide when
- 55:14Speaker 1: you're going to shut the fuck up. Or sometimes you
- 55:16Speaker 1: have to let them. I just wanted to talk about
- 55:19Speaker 1: Mel Robbins for a minute because she is everywhere. And
- 55:21Speaker 1: a lot of people are like, who is this Mel
- 55:22Speaker 1: Robbins woman? So... She has a very successful book and
- 55:27Speaker 1: podcast and now tour and every motivational speaker. And this
- 55:31Speaker 1: whole let them thing is like, hey, if you find
- 55:34Speaker 1: all your friends had a beautiful luncheon without you, let them.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Let them have that great luncheon. Yeah. Now, I know
- 55:43Speaker 1: people are going to probably correct me. This is what
- 55:44Speaker 1: I've gathered from it. I have not read the book.
- 55:47Speaker 1: But like the minute you stop trying to control those
- 55:50Speaker 1: around you's behavior, then you can gain control of like whatever.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Makes sense.
- 55:54Speaker 1: But the let them, the let them. And so I
- 55:56Speaker 1: see that she's, you know, going on tour. And I'm like, oh,
- 55:58Speaker 1: my God, what if like a bunch of women are
- 56:01Speaker 1: like calling each other and they're like, hey, let's go see,
- 56:03Speaker 1: you know, her on tour. And then no one gets
- 56:06Speaker 1: back to the person. And then they go to the
- 56:09Speaker 1: show and they see a bunch of their friends. all
- 56:11Speaker 1: planned and went, and they're like, oh, I guess I
- 56:14Speaker 1: gotta let you guys just exclude me. Like, if everybody
- 56:19Speaker 1: planned a trip and didn't include you, let them, even
- 56:22Speaker 1: though it's coming to see me. Like, I was like, okay,
- 56:24Speaker 1: with that, But I looked up some things about her.
- 56:28Speaker 1: So she was a lawyer.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Yes.
- 56:29Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 56:30Speaker 1: And then she had a syndicated radio show that didn't go.
- 56:34Speaker 1: But now this podcast is huge, which I love. So
- 56:37Speaker 1: that was canceled. And then she did her own thing. And,
- 56:39Speaker 1: you know, sometimes you're on this path and you do
- 56:41Speaker 1: it for many years and then it pops. And it
- 56:43Speaker 1: seems like her philosophy and everything has popped. And people
- 56:47Speaker 1: really like that she's talking about mental health the way
- 56:49Speaker 1: she's doing it. And, you know, she's like my age.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I think it's all great.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:54Speaker 1: But anyway, we were researching. She has said she has
- 56:59Speaker 1: an open marriage.
- 57:01Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 57:02Speaker 1: So that's the ultimate let them. If they want to
- 57:05Speaker 1: fuck someone else, let them.
- 57:07Speaker 3: You can't control.
- 57:08Speaker 1: If I want to fuck someone else, let me. So
- 57:10Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, of course you should. If your
- 57:14Speaker 1: whole philosophy is like, let them, of course you should.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I shouldn't be shocked that you have an open marriage
- 57:19Speaker 1: because you've got to let everybody be and do what
- 57:21Speaker 1: they want.
- 57:22Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Her kids are all, I think, older now, too. They're
- 57:24Speaker 3: in college.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I don't know if this is the first or the
- 57:26Speaker 1: second husband or what.
- 57:28Speaker 3: I think it's the first, but they're probably in an age,
- 57:30Speaker 3: and I think they do work with her sometimes.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Where, like, your kids... You could have conversations like that.
- 57:34Speaker 1: And again, I did not read the book. I don't
- 57:36Speaker 1: listen to the thing. Everyone relax. I think she's very successful.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I know she's bringing a lot of joy to a
- 57:41Speaker 1: lot of people. But I'm just– those were just some
- 57:44Speaker 1: of the things that I keep seeing in my feed,
- 57:46Speaker 1: a million let thems, let thems.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Let them, let them.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I was like, okay, well, now this sort of makes sense.
- 57:52Speaker 1: And then also there was a woman that also wrote
- 57:54Speaker 1: a poem called Let Them. Oh, really? Now, there might
- 57:57Speaker 1: also be a moment where she gave that woman credit,
- 58:00Speaker 1: but she was getting some criticism for that.
- 58:02Speaker 3: I think people like her because, and I followed her
- 58:05Speaker 3: before she had a podcast.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Like, she's not, she's just pretty natural looking. And she
- 58:12Speaker 3: just puts things into, like, short clips that seem complex,
- 58:17Speaker 3: but she just simplifies it, so... I think that that's
- 58:20Speaker 3: why she's really taken off.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and she covered a whole self-help book. Right. Like
- 58:25Speaker 1: you could just watch a couple clips. Like she covers everything.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I just saw one that she was like, hey, to
- 58:30Speaker 1: the 20-somethings, your friends are going to scatter. Like you
- 58:33Speaker 1: were all really close in college and now you're not.
- 58:37Speaker 3: And it is what it is.
- 58:39Speaker 1: And again, she goes, they might have a party and
- 58:41Speaker 1: not invite you. I'm like, my God. You're like, why
- 58:44Speaker 1: do you keep shoving it in my face and no
- 58:46Speaker 1: one wants to invite me to anything? Like just when
- 58:48Speaker 1: I thought I felt good about something.
- 58:49Speaker 3: I'm like, oh.
- 58:50Speaker 1: There were a lot of Super Bowl parties I didn't
- 58:53Speaker 1: get invited to.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Did you still get upset about stuff like that?
- 58:55Speaker 1: Not like I did like a year ago.
- 58:58Speaker 3: I mean, like 10 years ago, I think you would
- 59:01Speaker 3: have taken things a lot more personal.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Oh, no. It's it's only recent I thought and it
- 59:06Speaker 1: was before I let them no it's only been really
- 59:09Speaker 1: recent that I finally am like I I mean yeah
- 59:13Speaker 1: really recent that I that I'm not overly bothered yeah
- 59:17Speaker 1: um now I kind of get a kick out of
- 59:19Speaker 1: it and I don't care that's good and like I
- 59:21Speaker 1: had several people that I'm talking to on the phone
- 59:23Speaker 1: who was like okay well I'm having people over for
- 59:26Speaker 1: um Super Bowl um But, you know, I'm so happy,
- 59:31Speaker 1: whatever we were talking about, I shared some news. And
- 59:34Speaker 1: I was like, all right, cool. And they didn't say,
- 59:37Speaker 1: by the way, it's really small or I'm not going
- 59:39Speaker 1: to bite you. They just said it. And I was like...
- 59:42Speaker 1: Let them. I didn't care because I already was invited
- 59:45Speaker 1: to one.
- 59:45Speaker 3: There you go.
- 59:46Speaker 1: And I only needed to be invited to one. I
- 59:48Speaker 1: needed to be invited to 17 and figure it out.
- 59:49Speaker 3: But in the old days, you would have had to
- 59:51Speaker 3: map out how you can get to each one and
- 59:54Speaker 3: stop in.
- 59:54Speaker 1: So that's good. Right.
- 59:56Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 3: That's good.
- 59:58Speaker 1: And also, yeah, with age, you don't care. But yeah,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: that philosophy does help. But at the same time, just
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: like the classic, he's not that into you.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I think you also have to be honest. If these
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: friends aren't reaching out and they're not including you, it
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: could also be that they're not that into you or
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: they don't feel the same as they did five years
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: ago or you're not part of the inner group or
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you haven't reached out enough. You haven't reached out enough
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and therefore you're not part of this text exchange.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Or do you just sometimes as you get older, you
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: have less in common?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: I mean, a lot of people have a lot of
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: shit going on as you get older. Job, taking care
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: of elderly parents, kids in school.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I think the only way to get over friends not
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: including you is if you're screwing someone that you like
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: or you're, you know, have a good marriage and you're
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: happy with your marriage. Okay. Or you have like gotten
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: to a level of success that you didn't have back
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: when they were inviting you. And that's the only way
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: it's not going to hurt.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: I've never been the kind of person that gets upset
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: if I'm not invited. I don't know. Well, I mean.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: It's hard because you wouldn't have known it. It was
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: very easy to keep it a secret.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: You know, it used to be you wouldn't know.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: You know, it used to be you passed out the
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: invitations in the classroom and not everybody got one. I mean,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that was my first of not being invited was my
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: friend Carrie's birthday. And we both brought out invitations the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: same day and I invited her to mine and she
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: did not invite me to hers. And we both invited
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: like the same other eight girls. And then I remember
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: the mom called my mom and I heard my mom going, yeah,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I see we have an issue and sure, we'll move
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: ours the following week. And then she came and was like,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I forgot this at home. Oh. And so I'm like,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I guess that's why I'm triggered by the non-vite because
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: it's like I remember it so– and I remember feeling
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: bad for her. Like I knew she had like a
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: good heart, but she just didn't want me at her party.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: I wasn't her top eight. Like she just– I wasn't
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: top of mind or whatever. Then they made it that
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: if you give out invitations at the class, you've got
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: to invite everybody.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: That's not what they do.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: And if you don't, then you've got to call them
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and you've got to be quiet about it. And now
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I would say, you know, and also don't post if
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you don't want to hurt feelings.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: You know what they also do in schools now in elementary?
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: The teachers will say things like, we don't have best friends.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Remember when I could be like, you are my best friend.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: They just kind of dissuade that.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I think that's good.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: It's good.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I think it's really weird when adults talk.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Oh, I do too.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I do too.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: I hate that.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: A lot of adult women will say my best friend
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and I'm like, that is weird. Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: I agree with you.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: But they also don't, we don't do sleepovers either. That's
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: like gone.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I mean, there's a million TikToks that don't ever have
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a sleepover.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: They just don't. It's like a common thing. All parents
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: were just like collectively like, yeah, we get it.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Yeah. It's too risky.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Yeah. It's too risky. It's also annoying.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: It's annoying, but it's also too risky that somebody might
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: be at the house, but also you hosting it, your
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: kids might sneak out. They might, somebody might accuse you
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: of something. It's like the same thing of like, you know,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: any kind of, you don't want to be alone with
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: a kid that's not yours in any activity. Like I
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: remember when my son was in like the Cub Scouts,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: that was all taught. But like, even if you're on
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: a trail and you're, All of a sudden, you're walking
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: on the trail with just a kid that's not yours.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: You're supposed to, like, stop and call another person. Like,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a doctor– like, a gynecologist has to have a nurse there. Like,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you do not, for any reason, to protect yourself, want
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to be alone with a kid that's not yours.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: And I– thank the documentary filmmakers of the world over
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: the last 10 years who have like enlightened us on
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: a number of things. But that is absolutely one of them.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Totally. Okay. Real Housewife, Beverly Hills. We'll let them. Sutton
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: decided to only invite to meet her delightful mother. Right.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Sutton invited Erica and.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: No, no, no. She invited Kyle.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: Oh, wait.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Kyle, right.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: And Garcelle.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Kyle and Garcelle. Yeah.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: That was it.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: And.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you know, look, we all know these things are, you know,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: let's split up the group and then you guys. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: this episode was really good for a couple of reasons.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Oh my God, I loved it.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: We got to see her mom, who is an odd
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: bird that, you know, one of the things I thought
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: was really interesting is we know that Sutton is divorced
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: from a very successful man and she gets $ 330, 000 a
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: month or something. But I guess financially they were taking
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: care of Of Sutton's mom. And once they got divorced
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: right away, she's like, well, who's going to take care
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: of me? Which is the sign of a narcissistic mother, correct? Yes.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: There are two things going on here. You can't ask,
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: you can't expect someone without introspection to suddenly gain some
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: when they're older.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: 80, yeah.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: It just is not going to happen.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: But also the way that Sutton kept saying, People say
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: I'm like my mother, but I'm just not. And I
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: feel like that happens so much with mothers and daughters
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: where you believe you are the watered down version or
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: you are the watered down version of your mother. But
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: you all of the things that you did, like can't
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: stand about your parent, you sort of disconnect yourself from.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: But the when the minute you go back to being
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: around your parent, you go back to the same roles
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: that you had in your house and. You can see
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: yourself as a mirror, right? So in the scene, she's like,
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I'm nothing like my mom. But I'm like, you are
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: absolutely like your mother, just like the Heather Dubrow scenes
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: with her mom. And she was so defensive about anything
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: having to do with her mother. But I'm like, I
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: can see the similarities. And by the way, that's not
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: dissimilar to everybody and their relationship with their mother.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: I love a housewife that takes us back to meet
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: the mother because origin stories tell us so much.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: And also, I mean, she is like the mom. She is.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: When Dorit was spilling her soul out saying that Jagger said,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: are you guys divorced? And she's saying, you know, and
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: then I said to Jagger, no, mommy and daddy still
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: love each other very much. You know what? I just
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: have to tell you that it's a long ride to Oxnard.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: And I'm not sure your voice is very good, but Sutton,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: name them. So we need to get going. And it
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: was like.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: How about the scene with Teddy? The first season. Do
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: that one.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: When she was like, you're boring.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: No.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Wait.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Well, frankly, Teddy, I thought you were, I thought, oh God,
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: you're going to be boring.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Yeah. So I think.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: That is just like her mother.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Just unfiltered.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: No filter. And you wonder like all of it together.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: What is it? You know? Yeah. But it's also really
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: sad to see because it's so opposite of what I
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: have of like a mom that like, you know, just
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: thought I was the greatest.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: So it makes you sad.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: It makes me sad to see that for whatever reason,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: if it was Southern, if it was a personality, if
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: it was because she married this really rich guy and
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: she thought she was stupid to not have made it work.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Like maybe the mom was like, I don't care how
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: mean he was to you. Like you should have, you know,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: in her mind, maybe the mom was like to Sutton.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: You failed because you let this fabulous guy get away.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: She's also generational.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: She's regional. The man has all the power. The respect
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: goes to the man. She's like, I built this store.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: I've raised three successful children. I still don't get the
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: respect from you. But she really seems to respect the
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: ex-husband more. Yes. Which is twisted.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: And then we had a great scene happening at a
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: dinner at Kathy Hilton's house. Oh, yeah. With Dorit.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Talking about PK and how– and I think we've all
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: been there too with a girlfriend that's a little bit
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: in denial.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: And Erica Jane, who has just been so great to watch,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: just being like that girl that's been through some shit.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: She's the girl buckle up. Yeah, that's like really– but
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: it's really like a girl's girl too, like giving good advice.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: not at all making it about herself.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Erica was not always a girl's girl. No, she wasn't.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: I feel like she's leaned into it way more.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I think when she was- She must not.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Have ever been around women. I'm not kidding you. I know.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I think she was playing a role for 20 years
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: that wasn't really her. And she was, again, I'm probably
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: like Sutton's mom. If she had Erica, she's probably like, yeah,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm in this incredible thing. Yeah, he's kind of a
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: dick to me. Yes, I don't want to screw him anymore. Yes,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: he cheats on me, but I don't care because I
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: don't want to screw him anymore. But I get to
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: do all these cool things. And now he lets me
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: go be this diva with all my gay besties.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: And I think her mom was a little difficult too.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Yeah. So I'm just going to keep my mouth shut.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Now she's the real girl that she is. Been on
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the show for seven years. Has her own thing going.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: Maybe she feels safer.
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I think it's just a complete, like her life was
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: really turned upside down and now she sees it and
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: she's like, oh, he's trying to, you know, divorce you
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: before the 10 years so that he doesn't have to pay,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: you know, alimony for the rest of his life.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Isn't it weird that didn't even occur to her, Dorit?
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: It probably did.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: Like, Eric is the first person to bring that to
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: our attention?
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I think all... I mean, it could have been that
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: it did, and then the producers were like, bring that
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: up at the dinner.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Now, Carlos King thinks that this is all not real. Like, this... What?
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Tell me this.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Dorit and PK, like, he thinks that they're pretending.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: No way. Because if they were pretending, it would not
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: be this shocking.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Is it shocking, though?
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: So, okay, let me... Now, let's explore this. So... What
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: has she said that can't be taken back? She said
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: that he was a terrible father.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: That would be a hard thing to take back.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Okay. So that's why I don't think it's true. Because
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: if you were in cahoots, then you would have some–
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: she would be saying, no, he is a great dad
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: and he always calls. But now he's not into hanging
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: out together, the four of us. And in the beginning
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: of the separation, he was. Like, okay, so that's what
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: we would be hearing, I think. if they were really
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: in cahoots and there was a plan for them to
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: get back together. They're never going to get back together.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: They're going to get divorced. That's my prediction. And this
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: is real because you're right. She would not have said, actually,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you know what? He's not a great dad.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: I don't know how you walk that back. And I
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: know because I know.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: People that in the beginning, then they do, you know,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: they say, no, it's going to be good and everything.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: And then they're like, no, like, He fucking missed his
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: flight to see his daughter this weekend. He's not into it.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: He's over it. He's not a good fucking dad. And
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: they will say it now. But in the beginning it
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: was like, oh, no, let's– and they still might be
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: good to their kid as far as– but then even
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: then eventually they'll be like, yeah, your dad's new wife
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: was his secretary. You were four. Figure it out. Like
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: it eventually comes all out. It just takes some time.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: And so, no, I think– And I think she's pissed
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: because she's like, oh, my God, I covered up with
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: my parents. I covered up with the kids. I covered
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: up with your alcoholism. I covered up with that DUI.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I covered up with the fact that we weren't having sex.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I acted like we were super in love. I did
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: it all because that was what we decided to present
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: on the show. And now you want to go.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: The show complicates it because– I feel badly when they
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: go through a divorce because the one person is the
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: platform of the TV show.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: And then you're looking for a storyline and the storyline
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: always like fell on his birthday or her birthday or whatever.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: So they're like, great, we'll plan a big ass party.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: The finals. Oh, good. The producers.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: So now the party has to be a beautiful toast
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: that we all see. But if it wasn't filmed. They
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: may have not even celebrated the birthday. And probably she
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: wouldn't have been compelled to, like, do that. We don't know.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: But one thing, too, though.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Oh, that was really funny.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: I'm like, is the Easter egg with Kyle when she's like, Dorit,
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: I just don't even know who you are. I'm like,
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: is that because she's like, all of a sudden you're
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: not happy in your marriage? Where did that come from?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I think she's just going along with the fact that, like,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: you know, look, everyone's going to change in 10 years. Between,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: you know, 36 and 46, but also... No, she changed
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: from last year. Oh, just from last year.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Last year.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: She was like, of course everyone's different.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Yeah, like, we have a great marriage at the reunion. Like,
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: things have never been better. Because I think she was
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: still hopeful, and now that she's not, it's like.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Possible. Possible. The gloves are off, and she's like, fuck it,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: I'm done, like, lying and everything. Or are they like.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: And she said she didn't want... You're not going to
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: be on this show if you continue to be like
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: a mouse.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Well, she said in her interview with Alex Baskin... She
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: did not want to come back on the show because
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: it was all of this. What she's going through with
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: him was hurtful. And he, PK, was like, you have to.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: You have to because it's your job and you need
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: to make money.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: You need to make money. But we've seen that happen
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: with a lot of husbands who are like, get a
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: job because we're getting a divorce. You need to make
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: some money.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I think that Nikki was also just. But then on
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: top of it, if we're going to rip off all
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: the Band-Aids and like, yeah, now we're talking shit about
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: each other, which we never did before. So now it's
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: like 10 years of like stuff that we held back
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that maybe another reality show couple would have shared. And
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: then if they did break up, we wouldn't be totally,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you know, as surprised. But because it was such a,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you know, yes, hello, Jagger and Phoenix as she's getting
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: her glam done.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Do you know any mom that talks like that?
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Yes, my love.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Yes, dear. I am around a lot of moms, and
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: none of them talk like that. They're like, get your soccer. Crap.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: But she's not doing all that stuff, so it's like–
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: It's just so odd to me. But, I mean, the
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: kids seem to be, you know, really great and everything.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: And I think– yeah, I think it's like– and I
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: just think she was, like, fine, like, not having a
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: romantic marriage– And so now she's also like pissed that,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: you know, and so now she's like, oh, fuck you.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Like you were gone for 73 days.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Like being on a reality show, how could you maintain
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: a romantic relationship with your spouse? I feel like it
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: drains them. It sucks them all dry.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I forgot there were certain housewives. I want to think
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: it was maybe Countess and also– Lisa Vanderpump, maybe not.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I don't know. But there were a couple that I've
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: interviewed that said that right from the start, they're like,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: you can never film in my bedroom.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: Well, that's good.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: But that's not Doreen. They're always getting glam in the bedroom.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: They're always like a lot of, you know, not that
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: it's sacred, but I'm just saying. There's certain things like that.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: I'm talking more about a marriage, the romance. Like how
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: do you keep that flame lit when you're on a
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: reality show?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: What about when Kathy Hilton goes 56?
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Although I do think they're in love.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Who's in love?
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: I do think Kathy and Rick Hilton are in love.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: And I think she's right. I think there's real romance there.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I think there's a real friendship there too. There's a
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: real companionship that they're so– I don't want to say
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: codependent because I always feel it's a negative, but really
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: a team, like really together, like we're each other's dates,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: we're each other's best friend, like whatever. I don't want
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: to like necessarily, like we're happy to hang and we're
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: happy just to go to dinner with the two of us.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: We don't have to invite another couple. We still have
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: plenty to talk about. We still have a good time.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: And I think that's the truth, you know, whether it's
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: because they did get married so young and they don't
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: really know any different or whatever. But When she's like,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: first of all, I thought PK was 56 when I
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: met him. That was so funny because, you know, when
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: I said that they were 20 years apart on my show,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I said Dorit and PK are 20 years apart. This
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: was like a year ago and maybe there was some
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: talk of them separating. He DMed me and he's like,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: we are eight and a half years apart. And I go, oh.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: And at the time he goes, I'm 56. And she's
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: 47 or something. And I go– or 48. And I
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: was like, oh, okay. Well, she just looks a lot younger.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: I was shocked.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I'm like he– but I think she– I don't think
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: he looks necessarily older than 56. I think exactly what
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Kathy said. I think he looked 56 10 years ago.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: And he looks that now.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: Well, also the dynamic of the marriage has always seemed
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: like he's more a.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Big age difference. And also having kids.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Eternal or something. He has older kids. Yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: But, you know, the way the contract is, he's not
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: getting paid, right? Yeah. Unless he wants to work out
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: his own deal. Salt Lake City ended. Any thoughts? I
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: don't know. I guess they're all coming back.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: I'd hate to be Bronwyn going home to Todd after
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: the reunion. I feel like they have a lot to
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: work out. Well, Todd and I, you know what?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: We will work it out. What a lot of people
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: don't realize is we're not just about costumes and coffee cups.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: We're not. He is the funniest person that I've ever met.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: He.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Absolutely adores me and gives me jewels. And he loves Gwendolyn. And,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you know, he wanted me to do this show. And
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: what you guys don't understand is that we have sex
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: anytime he wants it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Oh, my God. So she'll definitely come back with a
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: different house because I feel like too many people were like,
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: there are a lot of dogs defecating on the floor
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: and the furniture is weird.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, she's weird and the furniture is
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: weird and whatever, but you know, she's definitely got to
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: come back. And, uh, But it must be really weird
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: when you are like Elisa Barlow and you like get
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: this little twat on the show.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure there are lots of fights about it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: And that's why she's like, I am done inviting my
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: friends to be on this show. I've literally cast every
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: single person and you guys have fucked me over so badly.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: And I'm like, she's right.
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: They have.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Right? They finally have. And I get it because she's like,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I had to talk to her on the phone all
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the time and Angie had to talk to her all
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, because she brought him on the show
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and she's a phone talker and then You know, but
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: then they get to feel their own oats and they're like,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I am not going to kiss your feet for the
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: rest of my life for getting me on this show.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I'm the fan favorite. People love me. I've had great
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: one liners. But then in her defense, she's like, oh,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: my God, why did I ever suggest that they pick you?
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: Because I think a lot of them just figure this
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: person's not going to become a star. Like they're just
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: going to be a friend of they're going to fall
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: flat because most of them have personalities where they believe
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: that they're a celebrity from the time they're born.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: So they assume no one else has the charisma that
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: they do. So I think they're actually like shocked when
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: the audience really kind of loves any of the people
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: that they recommend.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: But they are. That's a good show. They're fun.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: And by the way, I don't know if they're necessarily
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: recommending as in the casting directors are scrolling through their
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: Instagram feed to see somebody in the background. And then
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: they look through who they follow and they're contacting people
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: like they probably. go through and see who each person
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: follows and then kind of poke around. Oh, this person
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: is in Salt Lake City. Hey, would you be interested
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: in talking to me?
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Imagine if you have a good friend, like you're on
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: The Housewives, you know. Yeah. And like I'm on The Housewives. Yes.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: And you're my friend. And I just kind of like
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you being my friend. Yeah. I don't want you to
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: be on it.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: Just be on the side.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: But you have a badass house and, you know, like whatever.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: You're pretty crazy. And, you know, it's like and you
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: go out to dinner and you're like, OK, well, let's
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: take a photo, you know. And and then you're like
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: tagging me and you're like, why don't you share it?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Why don't you share it on your stories? Yeah. And
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I forgot. I forgot to share. Like just trying to
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: keep any friends secret.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Or conversely, what about I'm your friend and you're on
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: the show. And then next thing you know, I'm saying, oh,
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: I'm just like I'm going to film something on the show.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: And then I show up to the party with like
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: fur on, huge diamond earrings. And I'm an exaggerated version
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: of the person that you know.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: You call Melissa Gorga on Teresa.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: And you're like, what the fuck, Kate? What are you doing?
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: I could see that happening, by the way. And then
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: I open my phone and I.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: See that you're with all my castmates and you didn't
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: invite me. And then I have to go, let them.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: Let them.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Let them.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: You wouldn't know any of these people.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: You wouldn't be on this show if it wasn't for me.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: But let them.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: Go.
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: Go have fun.
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: Oh, you're.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: You decided to take everyone on a private jet to.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Go to your- Wearing matching trucker hats that say mermaids.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Go. Yeah. Have fun. And I'm like, Kate, I can't
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: believe you guys are filming Real Housewives this weekend without me. Like,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: what the hell? Like, I'm just not going to be
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: part of this trip for the next three days. And
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: then you have to just be like, well, you upset
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: me when you didn't acknowledge my dog the other day. Right, right, right, right.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: You barely looked- Muffin in the eyes.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: That's why I think Heather got so mad when she
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: was an invite to Palm Springs. She's like, girl, where, like, huh?
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: I've been here from the beginning.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I'm here from the beginning. I'm a good fucking time. Yeah.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: And like, I didn't even do anything. I still never got,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I feel like that was, that could have been a
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: move by the, who knows why they wanted to exclude her.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: It made no sense. I still don't even know.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Why half the fights were the fights or whatever. Do
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you think New York is coming back?
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Yeah. It'll just be different. I don't know. They'll change.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: New York, all those people.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, the crying.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: Rebecca Minkoff swinging a mask.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: And she's just like, whatever, I'm leaving.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Brynn should not be on the show anymore. By the way,
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: she should have been on a different show. That kind
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: of didn't make sense from the beginning.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm curious to see where she kind
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: of ends up. Does she just like stay at this
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: level and get a few deals here and there? Because
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: she does dress really well.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: She'll be on like villains and traitors and all that.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, she should be used for something else
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: if she doesn't come back.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: There's a whole new category in reality TV where now
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: they have these shows which bring in other people from
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: other reality shows.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: She'll be on like a Traders or something. Jessica Alba
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: and her husband are getting divorced.
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: And they just both have their own businesses and so
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: much money.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Great. She's going to have so much fun dating.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Then they have three kids. Good for her. With
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: age names. Honor, Hayes, and like Haven.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: I have a haze, but a girl.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: That's cute. I like that name. People are worried about
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Justin Bieber.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: I worry about him all the time.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: He looks awful. Other people are like, he's a new dad.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, shut up. He's not the Octomom, okay?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Maybe if he had eight kids and no help, maybe
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: he would have some sunken eyes.
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: Maybe what they're saying is it gives him something to
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: be joyful about.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: No, they're saying that's why he looks like shit.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: Because he's a child?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Yes, because he's a new dad.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: No, no, no. He's up all night breastfeeding. Give me
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: a break. Stop it. No. What?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: No. I mean, this does look like he's not well.
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: No.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Worried about him.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Well, Kate, this was really fun.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: Always.

- 1:23:22Speaker 3: I'm shaking. I can't even tell you.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: When does it come out?
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: Friday. Valentine's Day. It's in Minneapolis.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Did you get the screeners?
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: I watched the first episodes. I was kind of falling asleep.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: I shut up. I haven't stopped thinking about the last
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: episode of the first tranche of episodes.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: I cannot wait for you to watch it. All right.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: We have to talk about it. Okay. That's the one
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: to watch this week, Love is Blind.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: On Friday. Yeah.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Because at first you're like- oh, my God, they're all
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: really sweet and earnest. And maybe it's because they're from Minneapolis.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: And then you start to go, that one's the sociopath.
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: That one's the sociopath. It's really good.
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: Oh, good.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: And by the way, a great thing to watch on
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: Valentine's Day with somebody.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: Like, don't go out. Just stay in.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: And also, Love is Blind makes you feel so much
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: better about being married because all they want to do,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: all they keep saying is, I just want my person
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: that I can just have somebody watch Love is Blind with.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: And I'm like, here I am with my person watching
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Love is Blind. I need to be more excited about
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: being married. Look at these people.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: Well, also, you watch it with your sons, too. Added bonus.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Watch it with anyone or watch it by yourself.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: Actually, my kids really got into the season, too, because
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: I would be watching and they would walk through and
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: they'd ask me about it. So, yeah, it's the one
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: to watch.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: Alright, thanks Kate. Thank you.
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
