- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, welcome into another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I'm Wills Adams. I'm alongside both Tamra and Dolores. I
- 0:09Speaker 1: feel like it's been a while since we've all been
- 0:11Speaker 1: in the show.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I know, right, I know, well, here we are. Last
- 0:15Speaker 2: time we missed you. I missed it too. I've been
- 0:18Speaker 2: so busy. But now my slow, my slow season's coming up.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You know, after Bravo Con almost of all our episodes
- 0:25Speaker 2: have aired. Bravo CON's behind me. I get to relax.
- 0:30Speaker 3: You need that.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I get to relax for a little bit and just
- 0:34Speaker 2: do my normal housewife stuff.
- 0:37Speaker 1: You guys get paid a ton of money for Bravocon.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I know that might be a touchy question, but I
- 0:41Speaker 1: want to know.
- 0:42Speaker 2: We get paid. I wouldn't say it's a ton of money. Yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 2: for how many days we're there and all we do?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Can you they know I don't want to do it?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but you don't air.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Maybe you don't want to be on the TV show anymore?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Did they? I know.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I know that in the past people have complained and
- 1:00Speaker 2: and try to negotiate and things like that, but I
- 1:02Speaker 2: don't think it works. It's either everyone to go, you
- 1:03Speaker 2: don't want to say I mean everyone get paid the
- 1:06Speaker 2: same or no everyone From what I know, yes, everyone
- 1:09Speaker 2: gets paid the same. It is a big deal. Like,
- 1:12Speaker 2: think about all the talent they have to fly in,
- 1:14Speaker 2: they have to put in hotels, they pay it. I mean,
- 1:16Speaker 2: of course they make a ton of money too, but
- 1:19Speaker 2: it's fun. I think it's for me. I look at
- 1:22Speaker 2: it as you know, giving back to the fans and
- 1:25Speaker 2: meeting them and doing all those things that make our
- 1:27Speaker 2: shows so popular. So but also we get activations like
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm doing one with Lexus, so there's more money to
- 1:34Speaker 2: be made as well.
- 1:35Speaker 1: That's cool. It's got to be a little scary though,
- 1:38Speaker 1: because I imagine if you're that big of a fan of
- 1:42Speaker 1: the Bravo world and you're willing to go to Vegas
- 1:46Speaker 1: for it, like I feel like you could come across
- 1:47Speaker 1: some just some weird peeps. Yep, Well you said it right.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's fifteen hundred dollars a ticket for VIP, Yeah, and
- 1:59Speaker 1: it's sells out in sixty seconds the whole show. Like that,
- 2:04Speaker 1: We're doing this Bachelor cruise thing next year.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Where careful with those cruises. I've been hearing a lot
- 2:10Speaker 2: of things about that.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I know I saw Johnny Banana's thing was fake, right,
- 2:13Speaker 1: his big I was.
- 2:14Speaker 2: On one got canceled, Florish, you were on one that
- 2:16Speaker 2: got canceled. Like, I don't know. After I saw Johnny Bananas,
- 2:21Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm not I agreed to do that ever again.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I'm just like, who's gonna You're gonna hang
- 2:26Speaker 1: out with me on a boat for three days? Like,
- 2:29Speaker 1: what's gonna happen? Like this seems like the start of
- 2:32Speaker 1: like a murder mystery to me, you know, right, all right, Well,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm excited about today's episode. We're gonna have one of
- 2:39Speaker 1: the stars of season two of the Traders. We're gonna
- 2:42Speaker 1: have Max Schmerkowski on the show. Obviously very well now
- 2:47Speaker 1: internationally renowned ballroom dance champion, choreographer and seventeen time Dancing
- 2:52Speaker 1: with the Stars pro who quickly became one of America's
- 2:55Speaker 1: most beloved cast members on the hit series. The Ukrainian
- 2:57Speaker 1: American dancer, often referred to as a bad boy in
- 3:00Speaker 1: the ballroom, one of the show's coveted mirror Ball Trophy
- 3:03Speaker 1: back in twenty fourteen. Max has also appeared in a
- 3:06Speaker 1: number of hit television shows, including The One That We
- 3:09Speaker 1: like to talk about the traders. Max, Welcome to the show,
- 3:12Speaker 1: my man, Hello, Helloo.
- 3:14Speaker 2: There he is the bad boy of the ballroom.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Whatever that means.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't know what does it mean?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I was getting bad boy of the ballroom.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It's provocative, Temera.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You know me, I know you, I know you am
- 3:27Speaker 1: I bad?
- 3:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Oh, you're actually the kindest person.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Don't say that on record, please, you're gonna you're gonna
- 3:33Speaker 3: give my image away.
- 3:34Speaker 2: And he's kind, he's sweet's he's a father and very intelligent.
- 3:43Speaker 3: There you go. There you go again with my secrets.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Don't say that.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I know, I know. How are you?
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'm doing great. I'm doing great. We haven't slept in
- 3:52Speaker 3: three days. But otherwise it's awesome.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Why kids?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:56Speaker 3: The middle one is not well and he's the type
- 4:00Speaker 3: that's like that's taking the most from me. The other
- 4:04Speaker 3: through a Mopeita and my kind when I'm sick, I
- 4:08Speaker 3: am the worst person to cater to. I'm annoying, you know,
- 4:13Speaker 3: like typical men. So he's that one. So yeah, well,
- 4:18Speaker 3: I mean hopefully they all do. But so yeah, I'm
- 4:22Speaker 3: with you, guys.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Do you think okay? Any more kids coming soon?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Every time I talked to you.
- 4:29Speaker 2: You're another one's on the way.
- 4:31Speaker 3: No, why would you wish that on us? This is
- 4:34Speaker 3: just crazy. Look, they're amazing, They're cute, they're they're amazing,
- 4:39Speaker 3: and you know, and I'm living every day like you know,
- 4:43Speaker 3: be present all these funny you know things and phrases
- 4:48Speaker 3: that we keep hearing the same, like be present and
- 4:50Speaker 3: all that stuff. And I'm trying to hone in on
- 4:52Speaker 3: this and be like, look this two shell pass both
- 4:56Speaker 3: the positive and the negative, right, and so this too
- 4:58Speaker 3: shell pass applies to the negatives, Well, then you got
- 5:02Speaker 3: to hold on to the positive as well. And so
- 5:04Speaker 3: I'm enjoying this, you know, being underslapped and I'm exhausted.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I'm still in the gym. I just you know, because
- 5:10Speaker 3: I have a project and Peter is on it. She
- 5:13Speaker 3: has a you know, she got in the middle of
- 5:16Speaker 3: us not sleeping. She got an ear infection, so she
- 5:18Speaker 3: was in an emergency room and all the night before
- 5:21Speaker 3: and so it's like life is lifing on full cylinders,
- 5:26Speaker 3: but you have to embrace it. Otherwise, what are we doing,
- 5:30Speaker 3: you know, and.
- 5:32Speaker 2: What new projects? What new projects you have going on?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Can you share it?
- 5:36Speaker 3: I mean, I'm filming a couple of things this year.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I've already filmed a feature and I'm flying out to
- 5:43Speaker 3: do another one, and there's potentially another one coming up.
- 5:46Speaker 3: So like quietly, I try to, you know, not wave
- 5:52Speaker 3: around thoughts and wishes, but you know me by now,
- 5:56Speaker 3: I try to, like, here's a brick of the fire
- 6:00Speaker 3: foundation that I laid, and I want to show it
- 6:02Speaker 3: to you, right so when I'm ready, I think it'll
- 6:06Speaker 3: be a surprising revelation that that's what I've been doing.
- 6:10Speaker 3: This too, is for the projects. So usually clean face,
- 6:16Speaker 3: you know, these two little little gray patches. That's my
- 6:18Speaker 3: only thing. The rest, I like the soul. I got
- 6:23Speaker 3: this since the last time you saw me, So wow,
- 6:27Speaker 3: we got we got.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Are you doing like a Western or something? Are you
- 6:31Speaker 2: an undercover book?
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm going to forest. It's script No, no, no, no, I'm fully scripted. Uh.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Feature moves and there you know, there's a there's a
- 6:42Speaker 3: twist to the latest project that's coming up that's extremely
- 6:46Speaker 3: exciting as far as the new wage way of producing
- 6:51Speaker 3: feature films and where this is going and being you know,
- 6:54Speaker 3: I'm finally at the at the forefront of like some
- 6:57Speaker 3: technological moves that entertainment industry is making. So I'm excited
- 7:01Speaker 3: to be a part of this stuff. Again, I'm not
- 7:03Speaker 3: trying to be super mysterious here, it's not. It's not
- 7:06Speaker 3: my thing to tell. So as soon as I'm ready
- 7:09Speaker 3: to express it, I'm so excited to share all these.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Things we want to talk to you about. You know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the the connection between Traders and with Dancing with the Stars.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I mean it's it's it's very well known and documented
- 7:32Speaker 1: that being on Dancing with the Stars is extremely competitive,
- 7:35Speaker 1: but then also in Traders it is as well. I'm
- 7:37Speaker 1: wondering what your thoughts are of what show is more.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Competitive Dancing with the Stars?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, not even a question, zero questions.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And and Tembra know, so we were in you know,
- 7:49Speaker 3: my this my back to my season Emmy winning and
- 7:52Speaker 3: fantastic show and incredible presentation of basically Mafia, right, but
- 7:58Speaker 3: on on some kind of crack if we talk about
- 8:00Speaker 3: this you know, Traders and host it and you know
- 8:05Speaker 3: filmed and it was all beautiful and gorgeous and all that,
- 8:08Speaker 3: and one of the elements of the show that I
- 8:10Speaker 3: was really intrigued about is the physicality. Right, So you know,
- 8:14Speaker 3: in between all those discussions, those were also fun, right,
- 8:17Speaker 3: based on some things that happened during the day. We
- 8:20Speaker 3: had some challenges and all that well, my sort of
- 8:24Speaker 3: you know, abrupt my and you can see it on
- 8:27Speaker 3: my face and in my mood and in my you know,
- 8:30Speaker 3: when I kind of lost not lost interest in the show,
- 8:33Speaker 3: but I lost interest in what I thought the show was.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I felt like I would stand out in terms in
- 8:40Speaker 3: physical challenges and I would bring you know. So my
- 8:43Speaker 3: strategy was, Okay, you are not the you know, you're faithful,
- 8:48Speaker 3: so there isn't a chance to you know, I already
- 8:50Speaker 3: hated that position, being a sitting dock. It doesn't play
- 8:53Speaker 3: well with my personality at all. But at the same time,
- 8:56Speaker 3: there's no strategy here. His strategy here is just hide
- 8:59Speaker 3: and and sort of don't get shot, right, And I
- 9:01Speaker 3: hate that. I hate that feeling. I want to be
- 9:03Speaker 3: up in front. So I felt like, you know, that
- 9:05Speaker 3: would be my chance to be that physical sort of person,
- 9:10Speaker 3: you know in those challenges, right, and then I sucked
- 9:12Speaker 3: and won and then anyway, but the one challenge that
- 9:15Speaker 3: took it out of me all that sort of like
- 9:17Speaker 3: excitement about the show is when we were running and
- 9:21Speaker 3: it was three teams and we were running. We had
- 9:23Speaker 3: to solve some riddles, open the box, keep running, and
- 9:26Speaker 3: it was timed, which every team gets there first, it
- 9:29Speaker 3: has more time to search for these things and scarecrows whatever.
- 9:33Speaker 3: We run up to the first challenge, we did the
- 9:35Speaker 3: thing and we just kept running and they're like, hold
- 9:38Speaker 3: on a second. The production was like, wait, you guys
- 9:40Speaker 3: have to have more dialogue. I'm done. This is no
- 9:44Speaker 3: longer challenge. It's not tim it's not about who gets
- 9:47Speaker 3: there first. And at that point I was like, oh, okay, cool.
- 9:53Speaker 3: So if you're going back to the question about what's
- 9:56Speaker 3: more competitive, there's no doubt about how Dense with the
- 10:00Speaker 3: Stars sucks you in and it doesn't let go, and
- 10:04Speaker 3: everything is so hard and so challenging and so competitive,
- 10:07Speaker 3: and then you get into like, you know, the weeks later,
- 10:10Speaker 3: whoever's left standing. This is like, you know, everything that's
- 10:13Speaker 3: happening right now on the show is so hyper hyper hyper,
- 10:17Speaker 3: Whereas I just don't feel that that's the same project
- 10:19Speaker 3: with Traders. But when you ask the question, you know,
- 10:24Speaker 3: I mean the casting director alone, I think it's a
- 10:25Speaker 3: huge connection between both shows. It's you know, Ms Dinacat,
- 10:29Speaker 3: she's doing a fantastic job casting award winning productions, and
- 10:35Speaker 3: I think she's She's the main you know through line
- 10:38Speaker 3: between the two.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Now you speaking of Dance with the Stars, it's Aaron
- 10:42Speaker 2: right now. Do you have a prediction of who you
- 10:44Speaker 2: think is going to win?
- 10:45Speaker 3: Do I not? You do?
- 10:47Speaker 1: I know you do? Who is it?
- 10:50Speaker 3: No? I mean I I look, it depends on Yes,
- 10:54Speaker 3: here's my prediction. I think I think this is Robert's
- 10:58Speaker 3: season to lose. And I'm saying it that from a
- 11:03Speaker 3: standpoint of like looking at this is also our twentieth
- 11:05Speaker 3: birthday anniversary, you know, so then we start has been
- 11:08Speaker 3: around for two decades. You're talking about thirty four seasons,
- 11:12Speaker 3: so many winners, so many plots, so many stories. I'm
- 11:15Speaker 3: sure there's someone out there who's collecting all that data,
- 11:19Speaker 3: inserting into some kind of AI engine. It gives you
- 11:21Speaker 3: the predictability factor. Right, I'm not the guy, but I'm here.
- 11:25Speaker 3: You go if somebody of your listeners is the guy,
- 11:27Speaker 3: it's very easy. But in my opinion, that data goes
- 11:30Speaker 3: by like it's if it's a male and a female
- 11:35Speaker 3: celebrities who are high level dancers, the you know it's
- 11:39Speaker 3: going to go to a male I think if it's
- 11:42Speaker 3: a male and a female celebrities for a left standing
- 11:45Speaker 3: and you know, and the male celebrity has the heart,
- 11:48Speaker 3: but a female celebrity has the skill, I think it's
- 11:51Speaker 3: going to go to a male you know what I mean, Like,
- 11:53Speaker 3: it's not gonna be it's not going to be the
- 11:56Speaker 3: best dancer wins. I think it's gonna be the best
- 11:58Speaker 3: dancer according to who the audience like the most. And
- 12:03Speaker 3: that's again do.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You think that is because a lot of the audience
- 12:06Speaker 1: is female and they are, you know, kind of smitten
- 12:10Speaker 1: with Robert.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Why not, you know? And then there were smitten with Dylan,
- 12:14Speaker 3: and so Dylan was that heart throb for all those women.
- 12:17Speaker 3: They're like, oh my god, he took his shirt off
- 12:19Speaker 3: and then and then Robert took his shirt off and
- 12:22Speaker 3: he completely you know, not with the ebbs or with
- 12:25Speaker 3: the shirt. Who are again you have same abs? I
- 12:28Speaker 3: got the same abs, ebbs and ebbs and ebbs. Now
- 12:30Speaker 3: ebbs are canceled out right, So if you don't have
- 12:33Speaker 3: the ebbs, Dylan, you have to stand up to the
- 12:36Speaker 3: level of showmanship and the energy that Robert breathed. And
- 12:39Speaker 3: it's not even the same. So we can talk about.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Robert is like the favorite amongst men outside of Andy.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Who is your is your feels and soul and heart
- 12:50Speaker 3: doesn't dance, you know, I've also again been privy to
- 12:53Speaker 3: partnerships where my celebrity was not a dancer, but we
- 12:56Speaker 3: had that we were the heart right, so we went
- 12:58Speaker 3: all the way, whereas a lot of amazing dances got eliminated.
- 13:03Speaker 3: So I think, you know, this season, unlike any other season,
- 13:07Speaker 3: everybody can dance. Everybody who's left can dance except Andy.
- 13:10Speaker 3: But Andy is the heart and soul, and I think
- 13:14Speaker 3: that Alex and Val are poised to win by coming
- 13:18Speaker 3: up in the finish line and just being the strongest
- 13:22Speaker 3: into the end. Robert has to maintain his thing right
- 13:27Speaker 3: now for the next three weeks on one hundred and
- 13:29Speaker 3: ten percent. If he slips to one hundred and nine percent,
- 13:33Speaker 3: we're going to see it and it's going to look
- 13:35Speaker 3: like he's losing steam. So that's a little bit of
- 13:37Speaker 3: a negative. Dylan has no chance unless he stands up
- 13:40Speaker 3: and does something crazy. And then again, don't forget there's
- 13:44Speaker 3: also Jordan Childs, who has incredible amount of followers who
- 13:49Speaker 3: no one really talks about as a front runner, but
- 13:52Speaker 3: she is the Olympic gymnast that we've seen have incredible
- 13:56Speaker 3: amount of success. I would say this, and the last
- 14:00Speaker 3: thing I'll say, starting tomorrow, what is it tomorrow? Right?
- 14:04Speaker 3: Tomorrow show? The elimination is going to be shocking, and
- 14:08Speaker 3: then it's going to be shocking shocking again because there's
- 14:10Speaker 3: no one left who you're not going to be shocked about.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah, when I went to go watch Phedra who was
- 14:16Speaker 2: on Traders with both me and Max.
- 14:19Speaker 1: And you were there.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Do you go often to watch?
- 14:23Speaker 3: We tried in the beginning of the season and then
- 14:26Speaker 3: again Life Gotten Away and you know, we've missed couple
- 14:29Speaker 3: of shows because we were weren't in town. We definitely
- 14:32Speaker 3: coming tomorrow because it's our twentieth a diversity they're bringing.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I think something like four hundred of us got an
- 14:38Speaker 3: email about coming back this one episode, so it'll be
- 14:41Speaker 3: a room full of you know, past dancing with the Stars.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Are you going to dance?
- 14:46Speaker 3: No? This they have they have a dance by the
- 14:51Speaker 3: all the pros who were the first who are on
- 14:54Speaker 3: the first season, that first inaugural six sixth episode pilot
- 14:58Speaker 3: season I was not a part of that started season two,
- 15:02Speaker 3: but those guys are coming back.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I heard to the Grapevine you really like the new
- 15:05Speaker 2: pro to answer.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a huge fan, are you. It's taken completely
- 15:13Speaker 3: out of context.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Then I was wondering what.
- 15:17Speaker 3: The context here is? Very simple, not taken out of context.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Let me rephrase that. I speak with a lot of
- 15:25Speaker 3: thoughts in my head, you know, and and and and
- 15:27Speaker 3: and I also speak to a room and in a
- 15:30Speaker 3: room and with the people and all that. I'm not
- 15:32Speaker 3: speaking to general public. But if I have to say
- 15:35Speaker 3: to general public, it's it's it has nothing to do
- 15:38Speaker 3: with the person. You know. My commentary had nothing to
- 15:41Speaker 3: do with the person. Hence the apology afterwards, because you
- 15:44Speaker 3: know what, yes, in it, there isn't anything to change, right,
- 15:50Speaker 3: So my criticism was not out of left field. It
- 15:54Speaker 3: was just unexpected because because I'm not an analyst on
- 15:59Speaker 3: the on ESPN talking about basketball players, you know what,
- 16:03Speaker 3: I'm saying that that's my job. Somebody pays me to
- 16:05Speaker 3: do that. Now I'm just a professional with an opinion,
- 16:09Speaker 3: and nowadays everybody has a podcast, and so I think
- 16:12Speaker 3: that there's got to be a disclaimer. Hey, I'm about
- 16:15Speaker 3: to say some stuff, and here's the disclaimer, right, and
- 16:18Speaker 3: I didn't do that, and therefore it kind of landed off.
- 16:21Speaker 2: What wasn't your opinion more like he wasn't trained in ballroom?
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but my opinion was about the fact that you
- 16:29Speaker 3: have a job. And again, I don't want to get
- 16:31Speaker 3: in trouble here, here's a disclaimer that the conversation and
- 16:35Speaker 3: the opinion had nothing to do with the person. And yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 3: it's probably a little bit of knock on our guesting
- 16:43Speaker 3: director friend, but it's not really also her call personally
- 16:47Speaker 3: by herself. But the point is you have a job that,
- 16:51Speaker 3: over the last twenty years has been the best, most
- 16:55Speaker 3: exclusive job for a ballroom dancer, you know, period. I
- 17:01Speaker 3: mean from the money standpoint, to exposure obviously, to opportunities
- 17:05Speaker 3: after in life, so on and so forth. Dancing with
- 17:08Speaker 3: the stars for us, the like us, people that wouldn't
- 17:12Speaker 3: have had this interduction. Had it not been for that project,
- 17:15Speaker 3: you would never know me. There would be a very
- 17:18Speaker 3: little chance that we would meet because my ballroom industry
- 17:21Speaker 3: was nothing to do with mainstream. It was very you know,
- 17:24Speaker 3: it's like curling. We don't know anybody curling until Olympics come, right,
- 17:29Speaker 3: you would never hear of us, And so I protect
- 17:33Speaker 3: that so hard because a lot of kids over the
- 17:36Speaker 3: last twenty years had stayed with some ballroom, had continued
- 17:39Speaker 3: in that in those footsteps, with these thoughts and with
- 17:42Speaker 3: these sort of like goals in mind. And so I'm
- 17:44Speaker 3: just like, I'm the guy that just if there are
- 17:46Speaker 3: only five spots for a male ballroom dancer available in
- 17:52Speaker 3: this country, why not get a male ballroom dancer who
- 17:57Speaker 3: is also fantastic in other stuff.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, after saying what you said about Traders not
- 18:12Speaker 2: being very competitive, would you ever go back the Traders? Yeah?
- 18:17Speaker 3: Oh man, I mean, honestly, I think I would have
- 18:21Speaker 3: loved the redo. I'm also, again, like a lot of life,
- 18:25Speaker 3: I have to admit I wasn't so in it like
- 18:29Speaker 3: I know Mark, for example, Mark Ballast he did the
- 18:31Speaker 3: next season. I haven't seen him on it. I don't
- 18:34Speaker 3: know you know his outcome, but we spoke about some
- 18:36Speaker 3: of this, not he didn't reveal anything to me.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I saw a person who knew the show, watched the
- 18:45Speaker 3: show previously, knew every nuance about it, he NBC loved
- 18:51Speaker 3: watching it as a project, and then he got he
- 18:53Speaker 3: saw me. I was like, oh my god. And then
- 18:56Speaker 3: he gets a call and he's like, dream come true. Right,
- 18:58Speaker 3: I've never seen Traders until I was on it. You know,
- 19:02Speaker 3: I was on the in Napa, putting on my show.
- 19:05Speaker 3: We just had a baby. Did a lot of life happened?
- 19:09Speaker 3: You remember, I was trying to make phone calls when
- 19:13Speaker 3: it was I'm not allowed allowed it just had a baby.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I'm like, you got to call the wife. I'm not
- 19:18Speaker 3: might not have a wife when I come back. So
- 19:20Speaker 3: you know, it was all that. So I wasn't that guy.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I want to if I were to come back and
- 19:24Speaker 3: do it again, it would be now as someone who
- 19:27Speaker 3: knows exactly what the show is, you know, and exactly
- 19:29Speaker 3: how to try and play it.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I feel the same way now. Dolores and Wells were
- 19:34Speaker 2: both on season three, which we're recappying right now.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Delores won, oh, congratulations, should say you should do it
- 19:44Speaker 3: again because you missed half of it, not I know,
- 19:46Speaker 3: because I was sick. You were so sick. We missed you.
- 19:48Speaker 3: We thought you would you know, I don't even know
- 19:51Speaker 3: how you continued.
- 19:51Speaker 2: But going I know it was really difficult. But going back,
- 19:54Speaker 2: you you know, experience what we experienced a little that
- 19:57Speaker 2: we did. And Wells because well got cooked off pretty
- 20:00Speaker 2: early too. Going back, you know so much more, you
- 20:05Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like you would be more confident
- 20:07Speaker 2: in what you're doing.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what I wanted to ask you because
- 20:10Speaker 1: I think that, you know, hindsight's twenty twenty looking back
- 20:13Speaker 1: on the season, What would you have done differently to
- 20:17Speaker 1: have gotten yourself further on in the game or would
- 20:20Speaker 1: you not have changed anything.
- 20:21Speaker 3: My strategy, Well, I would definitely stay away from Deontay.
- 20:24Speaker 3: We became best friends immediately. The reason why I left
- 20:28Speaker 3: is because he lost his mind and I was the
- 20:30Speaker 3: first only person in front of his face and he's like,
- 20:33Speaker 3: you know what, I don't know what to say. I
- 20:34Speaker 3: have nothing, I didn't prepare, but that guy, I'm like,
- 20:37Speaker 3: wait what?
- 20:38Speaker 2: And he was so convincing.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he felt like he felt like because there was
- 20:45Speaker 3: such a you know, friendly connection, you know, and we
- 20:50Speaker 3: had moments off camera that I'm not going to talk about,
- 20:55Speaker 3: but I stand up right in front of him, and
- 20:58Speaker 3: I feel like right after that, we went to the
- 21:01Speaker 3: round table and he was in sort of distress and
- 21:05Speaker 3: didn't really know how to end it. And if you
- 21:07Speaker 3: remember Tamor, he was already kind of halfway out and
- 21:10Speaker 3: he's like, I don't want I don't want to be here. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 3: and then it went straight into it and I was
- 21:15Speaker 3: the only person in his face like, hey, bro, you're good.
- 21:19Speaker 3: We'll find chilling, like come down whatever. You know. I
- 21:22Speaker 3: wish I wasn't now because if I wasn't, he wouldn't
- 21:25Speaker 3: nobody to pick on. Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 2: But ultimately I think he left right after you, right
- 21:30Speaker 2: like the next.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Time, just because he realized. I think he came to
- 21:33Speaker 3: his senses and was like, wait, that was so stupid.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And also this sounded ridiculous, like I you asked me, well,
- 21:40Speaker 3: whatever would have done different? I would have I would
- 21:44Speaker 3: have I would have been more vocal in groups. There
- 21:48Speaker 3: were few groups of people that I did not interact with.
- 21:51Speaker 3: There were were, you know, so I didn't have I
- 21:54Speaker 3: didn't have any any kind of like I was trying
- 21:58Speaker 3: to sort of play the yield in the wrong way.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I was trying to be unattached, Like everybody knows that
- 22:05Speaker 3: I'm kind of part of everybody, right, and so you
- 22:07Speaker 3: have faithful, you have you know, you have the the traders, right,
- 22:11Speaker 3: and so everybody would kind of like feel good about Max,
- 22:14Speaker 3: and I felt like that was my you know I
- 22:17Speaker 3: didn't get to do it, but also I wasn't. I
- 22:19Speaker 3: was sure one hundred percent nobody's going to point a
- 22:21Speaker 3: finger at me.
- 22:23Speaker 2: You were quiet in the very beginning. You were pretty
- 22:25Speaker 2: quiet and to yourself.
- 22:27Speaker 1: There was a lot of scenes and this might have
- 22:29Speaker 1: been blown out of proportion or edited in a way
- 22:31Speaker 1: that wasn't real. But there's a lot of times when
- 22:33Speaker 1: you like walk into a room and then be like,
- 22:35Speaker 1: I don't want to talk.
- 22:35Speaker 3: To you guys because I'm walking into some chaotic, you know,
- 22:39Speaker 3: kitchen discussion, and I'm like, I I'm out. I don't
- 22:43Speaker 3: want to be a part of this.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Trauma.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Trauma I found. I found the cane. I found the cane.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I was walking around the cat I was like, I'm
- 22:51Speaker 3: in the castle, I got a cane, I'm gonna suit.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I'm chilling.
- 22:54Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You should have done more
- 22:58Speaker 2: of that, you know how.
- 23:00Speaker 3: A lot of that They didn't show me any of that.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I know they didn't show any of it. But Vader's
- 23:04Speaker 2: whole approach was just being the sweet Southern bell and
- 23:07Speaker 2: praying on people. You should have been dancing with people,
- 23:10Speaker 2: and I don't know that's it.
- 23:13Speaker 3: That's I would have I would have I would have
- 23:14Speaker 3: been a little more of that. Yeah, I felt like
- 23:16Speaker 3: I had a good strategy. Like I said, there was
- 23:19Speaker 3: a I think that my elimination or it was deontay
- 23:23Speaker 3: led and it was just a hiccup. It's like it's
- 23:25Speaker 3: a glitch in the matrix. This wasn't meant to be
- 23:28Speaker 3: it because it wasn't legitimate discussion either, not legitimate, but
- 23:31Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, Like it was, it came
- 23:32Speaker 3: out of left field. Nobody was and once he pointed
- 23:36Speaker 3: me and one more person did, now I became the majority.
- 23:39Speaker 3: And Wills and you know the lords. You know that
- 23:42Speaker 3: by now, right when, especially in the beginning of the season,
- 23:45Speaker 3: when the table's like there's no yet, kind of like
- 23:48Speaker 3: we don't really know each other that much, we don't
- 23:50Speaker 3: know who's lying who's not. I was already homies with
- 23:53Speaker 3: Phedra and Tamra and a couple other people, so they
- 23:56Speaker 3: weren't the ones to kind of like point at me
- 23:58Speaker 3: and keep it more I think tam But by by
- 24:01Speaker 3: the time it came to camera, I was just I
- 24:03Speaker 3: was a majority. Your majority named right, so because once
- 24:07Speaker 3: it's him and it's her, but.
- 24:10Speaker 2: He was so convincing in his speech. I've never seen
- 24:13Speaker 2: anybody on Traders and he didn't.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Say just spoke about me. Did you notice that?
- 24:19Speaker 2: I know it was really bizarre now that you mentioned that. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 2: so you would come back as a trader.
- 24:25Speaker 3: You're like, I'll come back as a trader, as a trader,
- 24:29Speaker 3: I think at this but like, yes, beginning in the beginning,
- 24:32Speaker 3: when I when I got out, I was like, damn it,
- 24:34Speaker 3: really wanted to be a trader. At this point, I
- 24:36Speaker 3: would come back as anything, you know, because now I know, Okay,
- 24:40Speaker 3: I get it. I get it. Yeah, there's a there's
- 24:43Speaker 3: a way through and and I get it. But even
- 24:46Speaker 3: if I watched the show religiously, I wouldn't have known.
- 24:48Speaker 2: No, you don't know until you go there. I think
- 24:51Speaker 2: you guys can all agree on that. And there was
- 24:52Speaker 2: only one season before us, so it was really kind
- 24:55Speaker 2: of new and going in like I thought I had
- 24:58Speaker 2: it figured out. I did not have any of it
- 25:00Speaker 2: figured out.
- 25:01Speaker 3: No, yeah, but but but but Faedra did, and she
- 25:04Speaker 3: did what a fantastic work. How the Lord the Laurus
- 25:09Speaker 3: looks like like that, Like she probably had that type
- 25:12Speaker 3: of experience like coming in old cut and smiley and
- 25:14Speaker 3: quiet and don't say a lot and then bam.
- 25:17Speaker 1: No, Max, I'm just a fan.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I've never been so quiet in my life.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Hey, Max, we want to be respectful of your time
- 25:26Speaker 1: and also the shoulder. Right now, last question, of all
- 25:31Speaker 1: the professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars, who do
- 25:35Speaker 1: you think would be the best Trader and who would
- 25:39Speaker 1: be really good at playing the game Traders?
- 25:43Speaker 3: Well, again, I don't know what Mark did on the show. Again,
- 25:46Speaker 3: I think that's the lowest season, right, was Mark ballast
- 25:48Speaker 3: with you?
- 25:49Speaker 1: No?
- 25:50Speaker 3: No, I don't know again.
- 25:53Speaker 2: On January?
- 25:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so I don't know. I think he might have
- 25:58Speaker 3: done well. I don't know. But again I think, hmm.
- 26:03Speaker 1: What about your wife or your brother?
- 26:06Speaker 3: I think Val would be I think Val would be
- 26:09Speaker 3: a good player. He did he did a show get Out,
- 26:11Speaker 3: right after I did Traders, and it wasn't It wasn't
- 26:14Speaker 3: similar in nature. You have to make you know alliances
- 26:18Speaker 3: and then be physical. But I think he would have
- 26:21Speaker 3: been good at making alliances, you know, more so than me. Right,
- 26:28Speaker 3: I'm a little more you you know, take what you get.
- 26:32Speaker 3: But also like if you if you don't get it,
- 26:35Speaker 3: it's because I did it on purpose. I didn't show
- 26:36Speaker 3: it to you values a little more. You know, his
- 26:41Speaker 3: language skills are such that that he can befriend you,
- 26:45Speaker 3: you know through this. Right For me, it takes a
- 26:48Speaker 3: little longer because my actions, they're going to show you
- 26:50Speaker 3: later down the line that I am this, this, and
- 26:53Speaker 3: that with value can immediately sort of you know, take
- 26:56Speaker 3: him a certain way because of the way he speaks.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I think he'll be great if she wants to be.
- 27:02Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. I think he'll be He'll be
- 27:04Speaker 3: great on the show.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Well, we appreciate you pulling over and talking to us
- 27:09Speaker 1: for a little bit.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Mad person.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Everything going forward, I'm please come back on when you
- 27:15Speaker 1: can announce the projects that you yes, congratulations on all that.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I would love to thank you so much by it
- 27:21Speaker 3: was nice seeing you.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I'm sleep by. Thanks bye bye. Well the bad boy
- 27:29Speaker 1: of Dancing with the Stars, he's so nice.
- 27:32Speaker 2: He is so nice.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I knew he was nice, he said.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Another one like me that gets misunderstood, you know, because
- 27:38Speaker 2: he speaks his mind and he says how he feels.
- 27:40Speaker 2: And you know, you know, Dolores Jersey. People they could
- 27:44Speaker 2: take it, but a lot of people can't.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Well, I do think it would be fun to see
- 27:48Speaker 1: his brother or his sister in law on the show
- 27:51Speaker 1: because his wife. Yeah exactly, Yeah, every all of them,
- 27:56Speaker 1: they all have to go, and some are traders and
- 27:58Speaker 1: some are faithful.
- 27:59Speaker 2: So he was saying, he threw out a name. It
- 28:02Speaker 2: must be somebody from Dans with the Stars. Yeah, I
- 28:04Speaker 2: don't know who that guy is, but so he must
- 28:06Speaker 2: be on the upcoming season. Super excited about that. So
- 28:11Speaker 2: we're just getting you guys all revved up so we
- 28:13Speaker 2: can recap.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think it's a good season.
- 28:15Speaker 2: War So we got to get through your guys' season
- 28:19Speaker 2: three pretty quickly. Before you know it, it's going to
- 28:22Speaker 2: be January.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to rush through season three.
- 28:25Speaker 2: The fact that the two of us were on it,
- 28:28Speaker 2: we could speak quickly on it because we lived it
- 28:31Speaker 2: and we could give you some inside stuff like you
- 28:33Speaker 2: did for us.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Speaking of Yeah, we need to catch everyone up on
- 28:37Speaker 1: season three before we get into season four, and it
- 28:39Speaker 1: starts airing on January eighth. Just stick with us. We'll
- 28:42Speaker 1: listen to the next podcast and we will get into
- 28:45Speaker 1: episode one and two of season three, which means we
- 28:47Speaker 1: will be talking about me being banished in just two episodes.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Guys so much for listening to my Order of the Faithful.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Follow us on social media, like and subscribe, Tell your
- 28:58Speaker 1: friends if they are traders or faithful, and and we'll
- 29:01Speaker 1: see you all again, very very soon.
- 29:05Speaker 3: M mm hmm
