- 0:08Speaker 1: We are coming into this episode with a lot, a lot.
- 0:12Speaker 1: There's been so much drama in the pop culture universe
- 0:16Speaker 1: this past week.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Well, and here's the disappointing thing. And I don't even
- 0:19Speaker 2: want to say this at the top.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We usually go live, right? So we record Wednesday and
- 0:24Speaker 3: it airs Wednesday, but I have a board meeting.
- 0:28Speaker 2: So it's Tuesday.
- 0:30Speaker 3: So we can't talk about dancing with the stars because
- 0:32Speaker 3: we don't know what's happening.
- 0:33Speaker 2: We just know there's no Val.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:38Speaker 4: We know there's no Val.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I don't even want to weigh in on the whole mess.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Val and then Alan and poor Jenna and it's dedication night.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I think this is what I would say. And Val
- 0:50Speaker 1: unfollowed Emma and Alan.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But I don't understand that.
- 0:53Speaker 5: What?
- 0:55Speaker 2: It's getting hankier by the second.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I have a theory that I'm not going to say
- 0:59Speaker 1: here because I don't know if it's going to get
- 1:01Speaker 1: me in trouble.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I have a theory.
- 1:03Speaker 4: However, this is what I will say about it.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We love Val.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We really, really do. We know his heart. We know
- 1:10Speaker 1: how incredible of a human he is.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yes, agreed.
- 1:13Speaker 4: And just, oh, the loveliest, loveliest, loveliest.
- 1:18Speaker 1: He made a dumb, very, very not thought out post
- 1:25Speaker 1: that was.
- 1:26Speaker 3: What was my quote? What did I say to the team?
- 1:31Speaker 3: Social media. It can go bad real fast.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And that's what happened. It's just, you can't get it back.
- 1:41Speaker 4: You can't take it back.
- 1:42Speaker 1: By the time he realized it was offensive, 90,000.
- 1:45Speaker 4: People have already screenshotted it and shared it and whatever.
- 1:49Speaker 3: It sucks.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I think he did try doing the right thing by
- 1:53Speaker 1: apologizing to Carrie Ann, apologizing to the fans.
- 1:57Speaker 4: But ultimately, the production company that puts on Dancing.
- 2:00Speaker 3: With the Stars.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Let me ask you this. Because, look.
- 2:05Speaker 3: We could try to like talk about that, but I'd
- 2:10Speaker 3: rather pivot.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Everybody can have their opinions on that.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Why did it get kind of weird with Alan filling
- 2:17Speaker 3: in and then the following and the unfollowing? What's going
- 2:20Speaker 3: on over there? So put that other part, the bad
- 2:23Speaker 3: stuff in a box.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Can I tell you my theory? Who did nothing.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I know.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Can I tell you my theory, which none of this
- 2:31Speaker 1: has been even remotely.
- 2:32Speaker 3: This is just in your brain.
- 2:34Speaker 1: This is just in my brain, not to be by anybody.
- 2:37Speaker 1: This is my thought, is Val posted this and a
- 2:42Speaker 1: lot of people got upset, whatever.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yada, yada, yada.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Maybe somebody that is filling in for Val went to
- 2:51Speaker 1: production and was like, how can he get away with this?
- 2:55Speaker 4: How does he not have any repercussions to this?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Oh, you're saying somebody might've said like, he should be, I.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Should take over.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah. One week's not enough kind of a thing.
- 3:07Speaker 1: No, I think maybe he was, they were like, you
- 3:09Speaker 1: need to like, this person needs to have some kind
- 3:12Speaker 1: of repercussion. Why are you guys not taking this seriously?
- 3:18Speaker 1: And that person is married to somebody else. And those
- 3:22Speaker 1: two are, you know, very much favorites to the franchise and.
- 3:27Speaker 3: To the show.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And maybe that's what caused production to give Val a suspension.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And it's very rich that that person is filling in
- 3:38Speaker 1: for Val.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Who was Alan's partner?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Giada De Laurentiis.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And so... That is my theory. And Val's like, screw you, dude. Like,
- 3:50Speaker 4: are we friends?
- 3:51Speaker 3: We're a team, right?
- 3:53Speaker 4: We've been in this since day one together. It is rough.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I think that.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I understand lots of things, but maybe the person that
- 4:01Speaker 3: takes over should not be in the show.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Like, they should be like, we got....
- 4:08Speaker 3: So-and-so to fill in. I think that would be worse
- 4:12Speaker 3: to Jen and DeJuan. At least, like, she.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Like if I'm looking at a third party perspective.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Oh, somebody that knows how the show works.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Or maybe it should have been somebody.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Why not get somebody that's not on the show? Pasha.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Why not just go get Pasha that's not on this season?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Not Pasha, Sasha.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I was going to say Pasha is.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It should have been Sasha.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Why not Sasha?
- 4:30Speaker 3: It should have been Sasha.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And maybe the reason why it's not Sasha is because
- 4:34Speaker 1: Sasha's ex-wife is that person.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So I have a new report.
- 4:39Speaker 3: For E!
- 4:39Speaker 6: News, there was reports that Carrie Ann Inaba filed the
- 4:42Speaker 6: HR complaint and like that's why it all started. E!
- 4:46Speaker 2: News has confirmed that was not the case.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Wow.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 2: So that was literally posted like 19 hours ago.
- 4:54Speaker 3: That was E! News now.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I know.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's confidential. There's absolutely no way they know. That that
- 4:58Speaker 2: was not the case. so it feels super messy okay
- 5:03Speaker 2: it's very messy.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And i just again i want to say my theory
- 5:06Speaker 1: is my theory i have no one in my ear
- 5:08Speaker 1: telling me this theory this is just from a fan
- 5:10Speaker 1: of the show thinking maybe what could happen do you
- 5:13Speaker 1: know what i.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Almost said i almost said and i'm not even joking
- 5:16Speaker 3: this is what i almost said why can't they.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Go get somebody like shannon.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Oh my god Amy Sugarman. That's what my brain said.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Cause I couldn't think of another dancer. I was like,
- 5:26Speaker 3: get somebody like Channing Tatum.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Bad pairing. However, Channing is also not a ballroom dancer.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Correct.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Correct. Correct.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Correct.
- 5:33Speaker 4: This is, this is what I would have done. Number one, Sasha,
- 5:36Speaker 4: a thousand percent.
- 5:37Speaker 3: But there's like a million of these guys from the past.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Like where's Louie?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Number two, Max. Number three.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Max.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That feels like, that feels a little like get the brother.
- 5:48Speaker 2: That feels weird.
- 5:49Speaker 4: No, but get somebody else who's like, maybe not Max
- 5:51Speaker 4: is a bad idea.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Correct, not, correct.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Somebody who's been on the show before that like fans
- 5:55Speaker 1: will resonate with.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yes, that wasn't on this season. Yes. I agree with that.
- 6:00Speaker 3: They should have gotten a fill-in that wasn't on this season.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah. And so, look, for Val to unfollow the couple,
- 6:10Speaker 1: something happened. You're not going to just unfollow a couple.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Like that was deliberate. So something happened.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Speaking of dramatic stuff, do you want to hear what
- 6:19Speaker 3: happened to me? Poor Jenna Dewan. Yes, what happened to you?
- 6:22Speaker 2: I know, poor Jenna. Okay, tell me.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I'm going to just tell you this story. I'm going
- 6:26Speaker 4: to dance with this person that her real partner doesn't like.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And it's dedication night.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Right, I know.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And it's to her mom.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It's just so messy.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It's giving messy, although it's giving tune-in.
- 6:37Speaker 3: It is tune-in. Tune-in this week, tune-in next week. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 3: So my friend Matt and I are at the Cal game.
- 6:52Speaker 3: And we bump into our other friend Todd, right?
- 6:56Speaker 2: I'm making up these names. So I'll surely mix them up.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So just try to keep up.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:00Speaker 2: So we bump into our friend Todd. Oh, Todd, he's great.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Hi.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Hi. I haven't seen you. How are you? Maybe I
- 7:05Speaker 2: haven't seen him in a couple of years.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Hi.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Hi. How are you?
- 7:08Speaker 2: How are you?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah.
- 7:10Speaker 3: And he's like, Oh, I'm here with so-and-so. And it's
- 7:14Speaker 3: this woman whose husband had passed away. And she's like, yeah,
- 7:19Speaker 3: she's dating again. And I wanted to set her up with.
- 7:22Speaker 3: And he says, my ex-boyfriend. And I'm like, I just
- 7:28Speaker 3: was like, okay. And then he's going on and on. Yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 3: but he can't do it because he's got a girlfriend.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And I'm just like.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Did that person not know that you dated?
- 7:39Speaker 2: It's your ex-boyfriend?
- 7:40Speaker 3: I don't know. And then he's like, yeah, I mean,
- 7:43Speaker 3: first I asked him if you guys were still together.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It just seemed, it just was so much swirl.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Ding dong.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So I wasn't wrong to sort of feel like gut
- 7:50Speaker 2: punch from that. Yeah. You made me feel like, kind
- 7:53Speaker 2: of like.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Dog poo poo. Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 4: That, what a little, like I said, ding dong.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I think he just had diarrhea of the mouth.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 4: And guys are a little different than girls are in.
- 8:05Speaker 2: That, like.
- 8:06Speaker 3: So I'm not wrong to be like, cause I wasn't like, oh,
- 8:09Speaker 3: that's all sounds so wonderful.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I just was like, oh, awkward now.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 4: You're very justified in your feelings. Okay.
- 8:18Speaker 3: So anybody would have been like, oh, that feels weird. Yeah. Great. Great.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Good. Number two, tell me how we net out on this.
- 8:25Speaker 3: All right. So my friend, very like a bestie, right?
- 8:29Speaker 3: Love him.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Is going to move in with me. Not with me.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I don't even live there.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Okay. I live in a different town, but I keep
- 8:38Speaker 3: a place in LA. Sounds bougie, but it isn't. I
- 8:40Speaker 3: do go there a lot though. Let's say 10 weeks
- 8:43Speaker 3: a year. He's going to live there for a bit
- 8:46Speaker 3: for a variety of reasons. I'm totally fine with it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I'm like, live there.
- 8:50Speaker 3: You don't need to pay me.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Live there.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Okay. That was going to be my question. I have
- 8:56Speaker 3: two butts.
- 8:57Speaker 2: So there are two. I've only expressed one so far.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And I need to express the other one too. Two butts. Well,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm having a hot flash, having a hot flash. Oh God.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I think these two things are stressing me out so bad.
- 9:07Speaker 3: I had to call up and I was like, Hey,
- 9:10Speaker 3: totally that my house, it's all yours. I'm even decorating
- 9:13Speaker 3: the guest room to be more masculine. It's going to
- 9:16Speaker 3: be so nice. I can't have you wear your cologne anymore. Okay. That's,
- 9:22Speaker 3: that's number two. Well, the, the cologne was the big one.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I was like, you smell great, but it, I can't
- 9:30Speaker 3: have that in my towels and my sheets.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And for people that everyone that, like for those that
- 9:33Speaker 1: are listening that don't know, like Amy won't even light
- 9:37Speaker 1: a candle in her house.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I hate smells.
- 9:38Speaker 1: She's very fragrance free. So yeah, I do not like smells.
- 9:43Speaker 1: No scented lotion, no scented soap.
- 9:45Speaker 2: There's no sense. There's no perfume.
- 9:47Speaker 3: There's everything is like dove. Like I miss ivory soap.
- 9:51Speaker 3: That really had no scent. I had a boyfriend once
- 9:55Speaker 3: that was like, you smell like ivory.
- 9:57Speaker 2: So I don't have like candles. There's no smells. So
- 10:01Speaker 2: I had to say that. I felt bad, but I
- 10:04Speaker 2: was strong and said it.
- 10:05Speaker 4: How did he react to that?
- 10:07Speaker 3: He, at first, I think he literally was like, well,
- 10:09Speaker 3: I guess I'm gonna have to find a different place.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I was like, I guess you are.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And then he sort of thought what he was saying
- 10:15Speaker 3: was like, how am I going to find a different place?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Like, do you know what I mean?
- 10:19Speaker 3: Right. How many people do you know that have random
- 10:21Speaker 3: houses that no one lives in? Right.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 3: That's pretty rare.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Especially in the area that you live in.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Especially ones that are going to be like you live in.
- 10:28Speaker 2: They're like here have it.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Furnished free. So.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:33Speaker 2: And he's like, none at all.
- 10:35Speaker 3: And I'm thinking none at all. And then I'm thinking,
- 10:38Speaker 3: can he put it on like when he leaves the house,
- 10:40Speaker 3: but then it's still my same problem. Right.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I have a question. You're not there though, right? Until
- 10:48Speaker 2: you are.
- 10:49Speaker 6: So if he wears it while you're not there, is
- 10:51Speaker 6: that okay?
- 10:52Speaker 3: No, because the last time he stayed there, he left
- 10:56Speaker 3: and I came in and I could smell it in
- 10:58Speaker 3: the sheets, the pillow.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Like cologne is strong.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yeah. It will go into the couch.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Don't spray or anything like that. But you've had people
- 11:10Speaker 1: over your place all the time and those people were... perfume, cologne,
- 11:15Speaker 1: or whatever. Do you smell it on your couch after
- 11:17Speaker 1: they leave?
- 11:19Speaker 3: Interesting. You bring this up. So I had a bunch
- 11:21Speaker 3: of people staying at my house for our sorority reunion.
- 11:24Speaker 3: I could smell them for a couple of days.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:29Speaker 1: This is my, this is, this is what I'm going
- 11:30Speaker 1: to say. And I don't even think it's a hot take.
- 11:33Speaker 1: It is your home that you are loaning for free.
- 11:37Speaker 1: If he was paying, I'd be like, you don't have a.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Correct. I don't have a leg to stand on.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:42Speaker 4: But he is.
- 11:43Speaker 3: That's why I'd be like, absolutely not paying. Because then
- 11:45Speaker 3: I'd be like, well, you know, I'm going to have
- 11:47Speaker 3: to take the cologne if I'm taking the money. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I.
- 11:51Speaker 4: That's your rule.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That's your rule.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Everyone has different rules for their home.
- 11:53Speaker 3: And does this rule also feel fair when I'm there?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Because it's tandem parking. I can't be with... I can't
- 11:58Speaker 3: do that.
- 11:59Speaker 2: When I'm there, your car's on the street.
- 12:02Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Fair.
- 12:03Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Those are both okay rules, I think. And don't burn
- 12:07Speaker 2: the joint down. Right, yeah. He should be thankful.
- 12:11Speaker 4: I'm going to be signing up, dude.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Now, if you were a cologne wearer, would you maybe
- 12:15Speaker 3: find a different place?
- 12:17Speaker 1: No.
- 12:17Speaker 3: If it's cologne.
- 12:18Speaker 4: I mean, it's not important. I'd rather save money.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Come on.
- 12:22Speaker 6: You're going to save $ 3, 000 a month.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Seriously. Like, at least.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Seriously.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Right. All right, so I'm not going to feel bad. No.
- 12:32Speaker 3: You're going to be strong. Okay.
- 12:34Speaker 2: So my friend, I would stay in LA a lot.
- 12:36Speaker 6: She lived literally Olympic and La Brea and I, and
- 12:40Speaker 6: that's very close to where I used to work. And
- 12:42Speaker 6: I used to stay there a lot when she would
- 12:44Speaker 6: leave and she would just like, I would babysit her
- 12:46Speaker 6: dog and I abided by her rules the whole time
- 12:49Speaker 6: because it was such a great place.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I'm so curious. It was just the dog, the dog stuff,
- 12:53Speaker 2: like when to take the dog out and all that.
- 12:56Speaker 6: So, you know, I, I use like a, face thing
- 13:00Speaker 6: with salicylic acid. So like I had to use a
- 13:03Speaker 6: white towel, you know, because I didn't want to die.
- 13:06Speaker 2: In the day.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I think they've changed the formula of proactive, but proactive
- 13:10Speaker 3: used to like bleach the towels, bleach the towels.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So anymore though. Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 6: So, um, I used a white towel, but I was
- 13:18Speaker 6: so thankful to be there and not have to commute 30,
- 13:22Speaker 6: 40 minutes to an hour, you know, too.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Long beach blows my mind too. Some people's crazy habits.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Do you know cabinet open people? Drawer open. They open
- 13:32Speaker 3: the drawer, they get the spoon out and they don't
- 13:33Speaker 3: close the drawer. No, that does not exist.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Oh no, it does. It does.
- 13:37Speaker 4: That does not exist.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Oh, Danielle, that 1,000% exists.
- 13:44Speaker 2: People totally do that. They open a cabinet, they get
- 13:46Speaker 2: a cup out and they leave it open. It's so weird.
- 13:47Speaker 3: People are serial killers, 100%.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I dated that person.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I had to go back and close, close, close.
- 13:52Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Why do that?
- 13:56Speaker 2: You do that? What is that?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Not cabinets.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Not cabinets in the kitchen.
- 14:00Speaker 4: You have young children. How can you do that?
- 14:02Speaker 2: My drawers. My drawers in my dresser. I have no
- 14:05Speaker 2: idea why. I just pull it out and then I go.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Why?
- 14:08Speaker 2: It's like so weird.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Not in the kitchen. Not in the kitchen.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I would never.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I promise. So you get a shirt out and then
- 14:15Speaker 2: you just leave the drawer open. Oh my God.
- 14:19Speaker 3: So weird.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I don't do that at all.
- 14:20Speaker 1: At all.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 14:22Speaker 2: And you know what I won't do also? What?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Is if the drawer is too filled with sweatshirts and
- 14:26Speaker 3: the drawer sort of catches on the sweatshirt, immediately that
- 14:29Speaker 3: has to be redone.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Amy, you and I are the same. My husband does
- 14:33Speaker 4: this thing.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Oh, my God. It makes me want to die. Let
- 14:38Speaker 3: it out.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So our door to our closet, he, after he takes
- 14:42Speaker 1: a shower, he'll put his towel over the corner.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Of the door. Oh, yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 4: And every morning I go over and I.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yank it off.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It's absolutely insanity what boys do with towels. It is
- 14:55Speaker 3: truly insane. I've never in my life. What are you doing?
- 15:02Speaker 1: We have a place to put your towel in the bathroom.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Truly insane.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Do not block my door because I have to close
- 15:11Speaker 4: my door.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And don't even toss it over the shower door.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Stop. I know.
- 15:15Speaker 4: And it's dusty up there. It drives me bonkers, you guys.
- 15:18Speaker 2: The closet one is next level. The amount of towels,
- 15:22Speaker 2: it's just... I agree, Danielle.
- 15:25Speaker 3: It's totally insane.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's like, why?
- 15:27Speaker 4: What are you doing with that towel up there? You know, Jackie,
- 15:30Speaker 4: that's a good point.
- 15:31Speaker 3: The dirt.
- 15:32Speaker 1: The next time he does that, because I think he's
- 15:33Speaker 1: just annoyed that I do that. I always just take
- 15:37Speaker 1: off his towel and put this in the right spot.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Do you know how much dirt you're getting on your towel?
- 15:43Speaker 2: Also, who's putting that? Why would you put the towel
- 15:48Speaker 2: over the closet?
- 15:49Speaker 3: To dry.
- 15:50Speaker 4: To literally dry. Because when you put it on the floor,
- 15:55Speaker 4: it doesn't dry.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Or There's so many better options. So many.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Insane.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Insane.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Oh, that's so good.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Can we talk about the Victoria's Secret fashion show?
- 16:15Speaker 3: Because I sort of like didn't even understand what was happening.
- 16:18Speaker 4: I guess I'm a little, I'm a little, I'm a
- 16:22Speaker 4: little annoyed.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Do we care?
- 16:24Speaker 2: We do care. I care a lot. I care a
- 16:27Speaker 2: lot too.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I care a lot.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I love the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I know.
- 16:31Speaker 2: And now it's in LA?
- 16:32Speaker 4: It was in LA this past time. They haven't had it.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They brought it back in 2024. So it's only been
- 16:38Speaker 2: a few years. I know. It was in like New
- 16:40Speaker 2: York and then they canceled it for a bit.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I love it. I love it so much.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I just love the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So what are we supposed to be so excited about?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Barbara Palvin?
- 16:48Speaker 3: I mean, I love.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:50Speaker 3: She's married to a Sprouse.
- 16:52Speaker 4: So she had a baby less than six months ago.
- 16:55Speaker 4: A minute ago, yeah.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah. And there's all this uproar on the internet about
- 17:01Speaker 1: how we're celebrating a girl who is giving unrealistic expectations
- 17:06Speaker 1: on how a six weeks postpartum body should look like
- 17:12Speaker 1: and the pressure to bounce back too quickly.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Oh. That wasn't my take at all, but okay.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And so there's My thing is like, let her do
- 17:21Speaker 3: it if she wants to do it.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So when you look at comments on anything that shows
- 17:25Speaker 1: Barbara Palvin on it, there's two things either you go, girl,
- 17:30Speaker 1: you look hot.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Women are amazing. They can do anything that they can.
- 17:34Speaker 2: You know, like I wish I looked like her.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And then there's two, how, uh, like if you are postpartum,
- 17:43Speaker 1: do not like, do not feel bad about yourself. This
- 17:46Speaker 1: is obviously unrealistic and yada, yada, yada.
- 17:49Speaker 4: How dare we be glorifying?
- 17:51Speaker 2: Turn on the television.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Right.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Like, you know what I'm saying? Like that's everything.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:57Speaker 3: And so like you exist at 50, I don't look
- 18:00Speaker 3: like Sandra Bullock and she's 60.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Like, right.
- 18:03Speaker 2: We can't just think we're all going to look like
- 18:04Speaker 2: movie stars.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 18:06Speaker 4: And so I, I was watching because I, we.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Can't all look like supermodels. She's an actual supermodel. Right.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:13Speaker 2: And so I was like one in a bajillion people
- 18:16Speaker 2: is a supermodel.
- 18:17Speaker 1: When I first saw Barbara going down the red carpet,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I was like, wow, dang girl.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Like Good for you.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You know, like.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I just saw that Dylan Sprouse or Cole Sprouse, whichever Sprouse.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I know, he was... Clappy, clappy. Dylan. Cole, yeah. Cole, right?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Not Dylan?
- 18:33Speaker 2: I think it's Dylan.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Dylan.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Are you sure? I'll look right now. It's Cole. Whichever
- 18:40Speaker 3: Sprouse is married to her.
- 18:41Speaker 2: She's cute. She's real cute. It's Dylan. People... Oh, it
- 18:44Speaker 2: is Dylan.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Dang.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Dylan.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:47Speaker 5: Uh, Oh yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Cole was Patrick Schwarzenegger's wife in this thing too.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I saw him in the audience.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So darling in the, in the front too, just clapping.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And it's cute to see that. Um, But yeah, Barbara,
- 18:58Speaker 1: for me, it's like.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Was Ashley Graham in this thing?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yeah, she was. Okay.
- 19:04Speaker 4: But yeah, Barbara, look, I'm so happy for her. She
- 19:07Speaker 4: did it.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And there was this like interview where she's like, yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 1: you know, like six weeks after birth, a lot of Americans.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Have to go back.
- 19:15Speaker 1: It's like she's justifying and she's like, a lot of
- 19:18Speaker 1: people have to go back to work. So I'm just
- 19:19Speaker 1: doing what I do and go back to work.
- 19:21Speaker 2: And she's like, no big deal.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Luckily, it's just me walking down a runway. That's all
- 19:25Speaker 4: I have to do. And I'm like, okay, girl.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 19:32Speaker 1: For me, I'm like, you know what? I'm going to
- 19:35Speaker 1: choose to say like, I love it because I love
- 19:40Speaker 1: that she's, you know, it's a very empowering moment, you know, whatever, yada, yada.
- 19:45Speaker 4: As someone who is like a year.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Postpartum and all the pressures in the world to bounce
- 19:50Speaker 1: back I understand that and I feel for all the
- 19:52Speaker 1: people that are not happy with what they look like
- 19:55Speaker 1: right now because it is a very real thing postpartum
- 19:58Speaker 1: and I can see how you know looking at somebody
- 20:02Speaker 1: who is so newly postpartum and walking on a red
- 20:06Speaker 1: carpet or, you know, down a catwalk in lingerie looking
- 20:09Speaker 1: hot as hell can make you insecure.
- 20:11Speaker 4: But like at some point to be happy for her.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I don't know that she did it.
- 20:18Speaker 4: I'm with you for her.
- 20:19Speaker 6: It's like, like you mentioned, two things can be true.
- 20:22Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, two things can be true.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It is. It is.
- 20:25Speaker 1: It does suck at how it's glorifying bouncing back, but
- 20:29Speaker 1: also I'm going to choose in this scenario to be like,
- 20:32Speaker 1: hell yeah, girl.
- 20:33Speaker 3: This is cool. So I'm going to choose that.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Everybody has such a different birthing story.
- 20:39Speaker 6: You ask a mother, you ask two mothers and they're
- 20:42Speaker 6: each different.
- 20:43Speaker 2: They're never the same.
- 20:44Speaker 6: So I think we put a lot of pressure on
- 20:46Speaker 6: ourselves about like bouncing back and how to, how to
- 20:50Speaker 6: like what you expect and wasn't expecting, you know, like,
- 20:53Speaker 6: so I think.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Everyone looks different.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I have some.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And we can't look to movie stars. Exactly.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:59Speaker 2: We can't look to supermodels and movie stars. Maybe like. Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 2: see how your friends are doing.
- 21:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Also, I'm not sure I care about this fashion show.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I'm not sure I don't. You're wrong.
- 21:10Speaker 4: You're wrong on that.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'm not sure if I.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Do or don't. I think I'm leaning towards don't.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Kylie Jenner, $ 50 million bra, not even her sister.
- 21:18Speaker 2: And then even that, even that was like.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I know, she's getting so much hate too.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Why is she getting criticism?
- 21:23Speaker 6: Because it's been years and years of like this honor
- 21:26Speaker 6: of Victoria's Secret women getting this honor to wear the
- 21:29Speaker 6: fantasy bra.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And people are mad she got it. She's just a
- 21:32Speaker 2: random that just got it. You know, so they want
- 21:35Speaker 2: like someone who had to work hard as a model.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Somebody from the franchise. I decided.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Sandra Ambrosio.
- 21:45Speaker 2: But they've all worn it.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Candice.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I decided officially I don't care about any of this now.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 21:51Speaker 2: What happens to those bras after they're done? Well, isn't
- 21:55Speaker 2: it the same one or is it a different one
- 21:56Speaker 2: every year?
- 21:57Speaker 1: Yeah, returning those diamonds, girl, because they do not have
- 21:59Speaker 1: a $ 50 million.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Maybe they reuse the diamonds.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Maybe they reuse the diamonds. They're just like unsewing them
- 22:05Speaker 2: and selling them back. I don't care about this.
- 22:08Speaker 3: And is this the same night where Kylie went from
- 22:10Speaker 3: brown hair to blonde hair? No, that was an old
- 22:13Speaker 3: Halloween costume. Yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 2: In 2018, she dressed up as a Victoria's Secret angel.
- 22:17Speaker 3: As a Victoria's Secret angel.
- 22:18Speaker 2: And then now she is one. I used to work
- 22:21Speaker 2: at Victoria's Secret. That was my first job in SoCal.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Also a unique smell in there, speaking of smells. I
- 22:27Speaker 3: think they've got a story going. So much.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Love smells still gets me.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Love smells.
- 22:33Speaker 4: My very first perfume ever.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I love it. It's so good.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I don't care about this. Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah. I've decided I don't care. So many things I
- 22:43Speaker 2: do care about. I've watched a lot of stuff. I
- 22:45Speaker 2: cannot keep up, you guys.
- 22:49Speaker 4: What do we do for Halloween? You're doing Lorelai, Amy.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I think I might pivot from that, but I can't
- 22:54Speaker 3: find the jean shorts. But I might do Lorelai. But
- 22:56Speaker 3: then I have like a witch's sweatshirt and a pumpkin sweatshirt. Okay.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So those are my fallbacks.
- 23:01Speaker 3: So you're not going to be in a costume. You're
- 23:03Speaker 3: just going to be festive.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but I might do Lorelai. Do you dress up, Danielle,
- 23:08Speaker 2: with your kids?
- 23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Oh, you do good with girls.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I don't.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You can do the Lorelai.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Well, because Mateo is obsessed with Spider-Man.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Oh, fine.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Are you going to be one of them? Iron Man.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I'm going to be Superwoman. We're all going to be
- 23:21Speaker 4: a superhero. So I'm going to be a superwoman.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Oh, you're Supergirl. I'm Supergirl.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Mateo is Iron Man.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Amazing.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Milo is Batman.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 23:33Speaker 1: And John is Captain America.
- 23:35Speaker 3: This is great.
- 23:36Speaker 4: And the dog is Robin.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh, I'm into the whole thing.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I love it. I love it.
- 23:40Speaker 2: That's picture perfect.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I love it.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Enzo is a monster truck.
- 23:44Speaker 6: And then we are currently making a cardboard Thomas the
- 23:46Speaker 6: Train truck.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Oh, that's so cute.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Thomas the Train Train. I'm like, I've been cutting it out, painting,
- 23:53Speaker 6: all that. He's been helping me. I found a YouTube.
- 23:56Speaker 6: So I'm like surprising myself with a glue gun.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Never this crafted before.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I will never be that mom that pulls out the
- 24:04Speaker 4: glue gun for Halloween. Where can I buy this?
- 24:07Speaker 2: I know. And see, you can buy it. But I
- 24:10Speaker 2: was just like, let's just make this a project. But
- 24:11Speaker 2: we have a monster truck too.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I don't want to pivot from the crafting, but who
- 24:15Speaker 3: saw the Elizabeth Holmes thing? Not I.
- 24:18Speaker 4: No.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I don't know if I care to watch it. It
- 24:21Speaker 2: just seems weird. I went.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Oh, Robin saw it. Producer Robin saw it. She's welcome
- 24:26Speaker 3: to come in and join. I went by myself immediately. First,
- 24:30Speaker 3: like two o'clock on the Friday, got in there, which
- 24:34Speaker 3: also weird thing, but at first they gave me my
- 24:37Speaker 3: popcorn in a bowl, a metal bowl.
- 24:41Speaker 4: At the movie theater?
- 24:42Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I can't accept this. What? Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I was like, I'm so sorry.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I can't accept this. Like I can't have this bowl.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Like I need it in a bag.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Are you supposed to return it after? Yeah, I guess
- 24:53Speaker 2: it's like more green. So sorry.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I wasn't green, but I was like, I can't. And
- 24:57Speaker 3: then I, then the guy was trying to pour it
- 24:59Speaker 3: in his hands. I was like, I'll just do it.
- 25:00Speaker 3: It got everywhere.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And I just, I was just walked away with pride.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I was like, I'm really sorry about the mess.
- 25:04Speaker 3: I can't.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I was like, I can't have a bowl.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Yeah. What kind of freak would I look like in
- 25:09Speaker 3: the theater with everyone else in the theater had bags.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I don't know why I was selected to get the bowls.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Super weird.
- 25:14Speaker 2: They ran out of bags. I was like, that was weird.
- 25:16Speaker 2: But anyway, so I sit down.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I start watching this three-hour movie, which I was.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Like, I don't know that I can do this.
- 25:21Speaker 4: You don't have time for a three-hour movie.
- 25:22Speaker 5: No.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Three hours. I was like, whoa, okay.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I'm left with more questions than when I went in.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Are you talking about Jen Shaw at all?
- 25:33Speaker 2: No.
- 25:33Speaker 3: They don't mention that she's there at the prison. All right,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and I'm not interested.
- 25:36Speaker 2: No, the whole thing is like so confusing. Robin, producer Robin,
- 25:40Speaker 2: did you love it? Were you confused? What were your takeaways?
- 25:45Speaker 2: I went in knowing nothing.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I have not watched any Nathan Field or anything, which
- 25:51Speaker 5: apparently I'm completely out of the zeitgeist on that.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I hadn't either. No, I hadn't either, so... I loved it.
- 25:57Speaker 5: And not a single person in my theater got up
- 26:01Speaker 5: to go to the bathroom for the entire three hours.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Like it was, you could hear a pin drop. It
- 26:07Speaker 5: was just so gripping.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 26:11Speaker 5: I have to see it again. I'm like on every
- 26:13Speaker 5: single forum that's talking about it.
- 26:15Speaker 4: That is a raving review if I ever read one.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I'm not going to get the same feeling.
- 26:20Speaker 3: So positive.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Oh, you didn't like it?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Nope.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I didn't not like it. That the first half was
- 26:26Speaker 3: a little slower than the second half. The minute I
- 26:29Speaker 3: saw Amanda say for it, I was like, well, this get,
- 26:31Speaker 3: this just got good. I don't know if I'm being
- 26:35Speaker 3: duped by it. Like I'm a little bit like, is
- 26:38Speaker 3: this like punked? Like is everyone in on the joke?
- 26:41Speaker 3: But me, everyone's like criticizing Billy or whatever his name is.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh my God. Yes. But yet is he in on it?
- 26:49Speaker 2: Are they all in on it? I don't, I don't know.
- 26:53Speaker 5: That's the whole thing like no one no one knows
- 26:56Speaker 5: and like it's like the title being you can see
- 26:59Speaker 5: everything then there's a whole theory that it's you can
- 27:03Speaker 5: see everything or is it you can see everything why
- 27:09Speaker 5: is it.
- 27:09Speaker 3: You can see everything the lingering shot of him Billy
- 27:13Speaker 3: naked in the shower I mean that went on a
- 27:15Speaker 3: real long time I was like what's that for like
- 27:19Speaker 3: you guys isn't a full man's private part for a
- 27:24Speaker 3: long and I was sort of like luckily not eating
- 27:26Speaker 3: my popcorn.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Out of the bowl but I still was eating my just.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Like what's happening and then I don't know and I
- 27:33Speaker 3: don't know you can see everything and I didn't learn
- 27:37Speaker 3: anything that's what I can also say I learned nothing
- 27:41Speaker 3: oh I don't know anything more about her I don't
- 27:44Speaker 3: know anything I don't know what to believe the whole thing.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Is I feel like that's the point though Like he
- 27:50Speaker 2: lived with.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Them for like 34 days before she turned herself in.
- 27:54Speaker 5: She had babies to delay her sentencing.
- 27:58Speaker 2: It's just so confusing. And you learn nothing about them. Nothing.
- 28:02Speaker 2: She's just like a blank space.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I don't know. And then it's like
- 28:08Speaker 3: at one point, the part that I did like, the
- 28:11Speaker 3: part that I did like, I will say, and I did.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Actually felt like, now I learned something.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Do you guys know Abbott and Costello? Yeah. Oh my God.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Robin, how good was that part?
- 28:22Speaker 3: So first of all, she's like, I don't know Abbott
- 28:24Speaker 3: and Costello. And I'm like, girl, how do you, what?
- 28:27Speaker 3: How do you not know Abbott and Costello? So he's
- 28:29Speaker 3: talking about who's on first. So he's like, let me
- 28:33Speaker 3: show you this. And he shows her who's on first.
- 28:35Speaker 3: And he said, this is how it feels like trying
- 28:37Speaker 3: to communicate with you. And that I was like, yes.
- 28:41Speaker 3: He literally says to her, who's on first? And she goes,
- 28:44Speaker 3: I don't know. And someone in the movie theater goes,
- 28:48Speaker 3: I don't know is on third. And I was like,
- 28:52Speaker 3: that is how I feel when she's always like, but
- 28:54Speaker 3: it can work.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Girl, it didn't work. It didn't work, but it can.
- 29:00Speaker 2: She talks in like.
- 29:01Speaker 5: A way that like, there's no right or wrong answer.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Like, did you talk to so-and-so? And she's like, I
- 29:08Speaker 2: don't know. Oh my God. Yes or no.
- 29:11Speaker 3: The craziest part was when Amanda, and I did feel
- 29:14Speaker 3: duped because what are the odds that when Amanda Seyfried,
- 29:17Speaker 3: is that how you say her name?
- 29:18Speaker 2: Say Fred. Cy comma Fred. Cy Fred.
- 29:22Speaker 3: When Amanda Cy Fred was there, who was the best
- 29:26Speaker 3: part of the whole thing. And Elizabeth Holmes calls Billy
- 29:29Speaker 3: while she's there. And then he's like, say hi to Amanda.
- 29:33Speaker 3: It all felt very set up and staged. And then
- 29:36Speaker 3: Amanda says, did you know I was going to be here?
- 29:38Speaker 3: And Elizabeth Holmes says, I don't know, did I?
- 29:42Speaker 2: Or something like that. And you're like, or she goes,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe I didn't. It was so, I
- 29:47Speaker 2: was like.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:48Speaker 5: She doesn't answer any questions with an absolute answer.
- 29:52Speaker 3: That's so weird. The whole thing is who's on first,
- 29:55Speaker 3: who's on first. Cause when she, she's just defiant about
- 29:58Speaker 3: this machine. this blood machine, but it can work.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I just left with a lot of questions and then
- 30:04Speaker 3: suddenly I'm doing a deep dive on TikTok trying to
- 30:06Speaker 3: listen to other people. Anyway, I want to.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Post it on threads in all caps. How does she
- 30:14Speaker 5: not understand who's on first? And I don't have a
- 30:17Speaker 5: lot of followers, but I had like a thousand comments.
- 30:21Speaker 2: That seems like a lot. I want to see whale fall.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Did you see everybody?
- 30:26Speaker 3: I didn't get a chance yet. I was going to
- 30:27Speaker 3: try and go today. Maybe I'll go tomorrow. No, I
- 30:30Speaker 3: can't go tomorrow.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I got to see this. Everyone's talking about it.
- 30:32Speaker 6: Is that the movie where he gets eaten by a
- 30:35Speaker 6: whale and he's trying to swim out?
- 30:37Speaker 3: Number one, it's only like 90 minutes, which I much prefer.
- 30:41Speaker 3: We've gotten way too crazy with these long movies. I
- 30:43Speaker 3: don't need that.
- 30:45Speaker 2: And everyone's losing their minds coming out saying it's amazing.
- 30:49Speaker 3: I have no interest.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm good. Did anybody watch Crystal Lake?
- 30:54Speaker 3: No. No.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But I did watch Widow's Bay.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Okay, talk to me about Widow's Bay. I need to know,
- 30:58Speaker 3: is this the guy that's married to Keri Russell?
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I like the plot.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Great actor.
- 31:05Speaker 6: I was intrigued because of the Emmys and it won
- 31:08Speaker 6: so many Emmys. So I was like, let's check this out.
- 31:10Speaker 6: And my partner Eddie's already watched these episode one and two.
- 31:13Speaker 6: So then I watched episode three and episode four.
- 31:15Speaker 2: You started at three? Yeah, because I watched the recap
- 31:18Speaker 2: and I was like.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I'll catch up.
- 31:19Speaker 2: That feels like it. That's an absolute, I would never.
- 31:22Speaker 4: No.
- 31:23Speaker 2: So, well, I was going to catch up.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I know.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Sorry, guys. Who starts the show in the middle?
- 31:29Speaker 3: I did.
- 31:29Speaker 2: So, is it good? Okay.
- 31:31Speaker 6: I am such a horror, like, like, scaredy cat. And
- 31:36Speaker 6: I had dreams of this, like, Yeah, no way. I
- 31:40Speaker 6: had dreams of this ghost lady that walks.
- 31:42Speaker 3: So, it's a horror?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a horror comedy, which is like very little
- 31:46Speaker 2: comedy and mostly horror. And I had dreams of this
- 31:50Speaker 2: scary ghost lady that was in there and she scratches
- 31:54Speaker 2: and then like her hand. Have you watched From?
- 31:57Speaker 3: That's very scary.
- 31:58Speaker 6: No.
- 31:58Speaker 2: And then they did Satanic Stuff the next episode.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Do you watch American Horror Story? No. I did when,
- 32:06Speaker 2: what's her name?
- 32:06Speaker 6: The singer was on from Fleetwood Mac.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I watched one episode. I used to.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I used to watch it.
- 32:12Speaker 2: What was her name? Oh my God, I'm forgetting her name.
- 32:14Speaker 4: The singer from Fleetwood Mac?
- 32:16Speaker 3: Yes. She was on it.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Stevie Nicks? Stevie Nicks.
- 32:20Speaker 5: There you go.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Stevie Nicks was on it? Yeah, I watched like maybe
- 32:23Speaker 2: an episode or two just to see what that was like.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I almost shouted out Lindsey Buckingham and then I was like, wait.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That's the dude. No, no, Stevie Nicks was on it.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I love how you said the singer from Fleetwood Mac. Like, no,
- 32:31Speaker 1: that's Stevie Nicks.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Like, yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Yeah. What? Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 2: See, I like horror. I love horror, in fact. I
- 32:39Speaker 2: just watch dead, dead horror.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Fall, fall to dead drop or something.
- 32:44Speaker 2: That was, I like, I.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Like thrillers sort of, I like dumb horror better than,
- 32:50Speaker 3: than creepy, scary horror. Like I love a, like a
- 32:54Speaker 3: Sharknado-y type vibe. Shark at the amusement park.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I can do those. I can do those.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Those are a romp.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Ghost and satanic stuff.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Crystal Lake is sad and dark so far. I'm going
- 33:06Speaker 3: to keep going. It's good, but I feel bad now that, For,
- 33:11Speaker 3: do you know what Crystal Lake is?
- 33:12Speaker 2: Do you guys know what it's about? So you guys
- 33:14Speaker 2: are too young.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Maybe Robin isn't. Sorry, Robin, to call you out.
- 33:18Speaker 2: But Friday the 13th was like a massive horror movie
- 33:21Speaker 2: in the 80s.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Like it was, it was like, that was our scariest
- 33:24Speaker 3: childhood movie. And you learn like the murderer in the
- 33:28Speaker 3: first one is the mom. Like, you know, Jason, everyone
- 33:32Speaker 3: talks about Jason and Freddie, right?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah. In Friday the 13th, the original, the murderer is
- 33:38Speaker 2: Jason's mom.
- 33:40Speaker 6: Oh.
- 33:40Speaker 2: So this is.
- 33:41Speaker 3: The- I never knew that.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Oh my God. Yeah, so you never knew when it says,
- 33:45Speaker 2: kill her, mommy, kill her. Oh my gosh.
- 33:49Speaker 3: So Jason, what, this is the lore, right? And then
- 33:51Speaker 3: now we're really deep lore. So Jason drowned at camp
- 33:57Speaker 3: because the counselors were like making out or having sex
- 34:00Speaker 3: or something and not paying attention. And Jason drowned. And
- 34:03Speaker 3: then they don't find the body. So he then- gets
- 34:08Speaker 3: somehow rejuvenated or something and tells the mom to kill everybody.
- 34:12Speaker 3: And then at the end of Friday the 13th, the
- 34:14Speaker 3: counselor girl chops off the mom's head and you literally
- 34:18Speaker 3: see the mom's head fly, right? And you're like, what
- 34:23Speaker 3: are you guys watching? It's a horror movie. I think
- 34:26Speaker 3: I slept in my parents' bed for a good long time.
- 34:28Speaker 3: I thought maybe a month, but maybe it was a
- 34:30Speaker 3: few days, but I definitely was scared poopless, right? So
- 34:34Speaker 3: this is the prequel to Friday the 13th. This is Pamela,
- 34:38Speaker 3: the mother. And it's, we learn about her, like quickly
- 34:45Speaker 3: Jason drowns, but then it's backwards and forwards and backwards
- 34:48Speaker 3: and forwards. And I'm only one episode in and I'm like,
- 34:52Speaker 3: I feel bad for her, the mom. Like maybe it's
- 34:55Speaker 3: because Linda Cardellini is playing it so well, but I'm like,
- 34:57Speaker 3: I have sympathy for Mrs. Voorhees, which I never had before.
- 35:02Speaker 3: She was just a crazy killer lady. Wow.
- 35:05Speaker 2: How did I do explaining that? That's good, because I
- 35:08Speaker 2: do know Friday the 13th and Jason Voorhees.
- 35:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 2: What? What'd you say? Oh, no, that was a good explanation.
- 35:15Speaker 2: If you know about the lore. I don't know about
- 35:16Speaker 2: the lore.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Well, then it goes on and on and on. You know,
- 35:18Speaker 3: Friday the 13th takes Manhattan. It gets kind of wild.
- 35:22Speaker 3: But the first one was just so scary. And like
- 35:25Speaker 3: Kevin Bacon. If I remember, Kevin Bacon is laying in
- 35:28Speaker 3: his bed. And I might be blurring it. And then
- 35:30Speaker 3: the knife just comes through him.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Crazy. Crazy.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Well, it's Halloween time. It's around that time.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 2: But I want to, I do, I'm not as excited
- 35:38Speaker 2: to watch Carrie, the new Carrie.
- 35:40Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 35:41Speaker 2: That just seems sad to me. I don't want to
- 35:43Speaker 2: watch like people bully a teenager. Yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 35:49Speaker 5: I thought that was the prequel to Sex and the City.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Yeah. What was that one called? The Carrie Diaries.
- 35:59Speaker 2: The Carrie Diaries. I loved that one. Carrie Diaries.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Austin Butler. Oh, yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 4: And Anna Sophia Robb, right?
- 36:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:08Speaker 2: He looks good in that. Did we talk about Miami
- 36:11Speaker 2: Vice last week?
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yeah, we talked about Austin Butler.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Joe Manganiello's new tattoo.
- 36:17Speaker 4: That's as scary as I'm going to get.
- 36:19Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm as bothered by the tattoo
- 36:22Speaker 3: as the photos. I don't, it's a lot of Joe Manganiello.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Do we have a photo of that? Can I look
- 36:32Speaker 3: at it again and let me, yeah. It's like, can
- 36:34Speaker 3: I look at that again and see?
- 36:35Speaker 2: I don't, I don't know.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I don't know that I, I don't know.
- 36:40Speaker 2: What do we vote on that?
- 36:41Speaker 6: No.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:42Speaker 3: No.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'm voting a big old no.
- 36:45Speaker 1: There's a lot of things where like people post and
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm like, did you have to post that?
- 36:49Speaker 4: Just keep it to yourself.
- 36:50Speaker 3: All right, cool.
- 36:51Speaker 4: You got a great tattoo that you're really happy about.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Great for you.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I don't want to see that.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I did.
- 36:58Speaker 4: I mean, great abs, but I did not need to
- 37:00Speaker 4: see that.
- 37:01Speaker 3: And also, you know what I think I would have preferred?
- 37:04Speaker 3: Show it to me days later. I think I'm seeing
- 37:07Speaker 3: it too much in the process. See how it's all
- 37:11Speaker 3: red where they clearly just did part of it. I
- 37:13Speaker 3: don't get, wait, show me later. Great artwork, but no.
- 37:19Speaker 3: It's just a lot of....
- 37:23Speaker 2: Nah.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember when he was married to Sofia Vergara. Yeah,
- 37:28Speaker 3: and I think he talks about it in the book.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I actually like him. I think he's super nice.
- 37:33Speaker 2: And I feel bad for.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Whatever happened to him.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Jackie's just showing it. She just keeps showing it. Is
- 37:40Speaker 2: that because.
- 37:42Speaker 3: It's a photo? Yeah.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Let's stop sharing. I don't need to see that anymore.
- 37:45Speaker 3: It's a lot. All right. Well, we've got a lot
- 37:50Speaker 3: more to talk about, but we'll have to wait until
- 37:51Speaker 3: next week.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I'm going to try and see Will. I've got so
- 37:56Speaker 2: many shows.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I didn't realize I was behind on Doc that I
- 37:59Speaker 3: didn't even finish last season. And there's already five episodes
- 38:02Speaker 3: of the new season. Chicago Med, SVU. Like, I'm still
- 38:06Speaker 3: trying to finish Fear of the Walking Dead. I'm trying
- 38:08Speaker 3: to do Neely because I just finished Reacher.
- 38:11Speaker 2: It's like, by the way, did nobody else reply to
- 38:13Speaker 2: my text from this morning?
- 38:15Speaker 4: What did you say?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Other than producer Robin. Where I wrote, who is willing? No,
- 38:18Speaker 2: they all like raise their hand.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 38:20Speaker 2: We've got a lot of hand raises. Okay, great. Okay, great.
- 38:22Speaker 3: So I've got a full, because it's my new brilliant idea.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I have a brilliant idea coming soon. I will always
- 38:27Speaker 3: do it too. So, okay, great.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I've got a brilliant idea coming soon. I'll be putting
- 38:30Speaker 2: that together.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Well, yay. Yes. Robin, producer Robin joined us for the
- 38:35Speaker 2: first time.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 38:36Speaker 5: What do you think of Listen if you want to?
- 38:39Speaker 2: I love it.
- 38:40Speaker 3: So fun.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Is that a real review? Or is that because you're
- 38:48Speaker 2: paid to say that? Wait, do I get paid for
- 38:52Speaker 2: saying that? Well, you're paid. You're only paid to.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Have this job.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Like a bonus? No. We don't offer bonuses. We don't
- 39:01Speaker 2: pay for compliments, but.
- 39:04Speaker 3: It's something to think about. It's something to think about. No,
- 39:07Speaker 3: it was super fun, you guys. Thanks for letting me eat.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Maybe she can fill in next week because I won't
- 39:11Speaker 2: be here.
- 39:12Speaker 5: Why?
- 39:12Speaker 2: Excuse us, Jackie. Where will you be? I'm turning 41
- 39:15Speaker 2: on Saturday. I'm going to Mexico. That's right. For a week? Yeah.
- 39:21Speaker 6: I'm going four nights all-inclusive to Punta Mita and then
- 39:24Speaker 6: I'm going to my dad's hometown.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Oh my goodness.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Where are you staying in Punta Mita?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Iberostar.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Oh, I thought the hotel was called Punta Mita.
- 39:31Speaker 4: If you like it with the kids and stuff?
- 39:34Speaker 3: Yes.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Can you tell me if you like it?
- 39:35Speaker 6: We got it because it has the... The kids club
- 39:39Speaker 6: and all that stuff. Like they have cooking.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Lessons for kids.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Yeah, just report back.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I just heard that Punta Mita is a place. I
- 39:44Speaker 3: thought it was a hotel.
- 39:45Speaker 2: That's where Tanya got married. No, until just one moment ago, I.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Thought it was a hotel.
- 39:50Speaker 4: It's definitely a region of Mexico. A beautiful, beautiful city.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Well, I thought it was a hotel.
- 39:56Speaker 3: So, like, when people are like, we're going to Punta Mita,
- 39:59Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, that's such a nice place.
- 40:00Speaker 2: It's, like, 30 minutes outside Puerto Vallarta.
- 40:02Speaker 3: So, it's, like, over there.
- 40:03Speaker 2: And so, all-inclusive. Does that mean you get food, drinks, everything?
- 40:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Just for four nights.
- 40:08Speaker 6: And then, after that, we're going to my dad's hometown,
- 40:11Speaker 6: which is, like, it's called San Pedro Traque Paque, which is, like,
- 40:14Speaker 6: 30 minutes out of Guadalajara.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Oh, cool.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Oh, you're doing the drive all the way there?
- 40:19Speaker 2: We're going to take the bus, like, four hours.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Dang, Jackie.
- 40:21Speaker 4: That's a drive.
- 40:23Speaker 5: I know.
- 40:24Speaker 2: We're going to take the bus.
- 40:25Speaker 4: With With the baby?
- 40:26Speaker 2: With Enzo, yeah.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, right? How am I going to do it?
- 40:30Speaker 3: This sounds like an exciting write-down in your travel journal
- 40:34Speaker 3: so you can report back.
- 40:35Speaker 2: We have a.
- 40:36Speaker 6: House in there that my dad and my family own,
- 40:39Speaker 6: so we want to go check on it and see
- 40:40Speaker 6: what we can do with it.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Oh, hashtag rich. Excuse you.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 40:44Speaker 2: No, this has been in... Years and years and years.
- 40:47Speaker 2: That's a point of contention in my family, but anyways. Oh,
- 40:50Speaker 2: it's like a big debate what to do with it.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I like that.
- 40:53Speaker 2: It starts the family brawls. Fun.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Fun, fun, fun. Anyways.
- 40:57Speaker 4: And I'll be in New York next week, but I
- 40:58Speaker 4: will be in.
- 40:59Speaker 2: So Robin can come in. Is it just me and myself?
