- 0:00Speaker 1: Marks themone on sevent tenor.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey Thursday, beautiful sunny day today, A lot to get
- 0:11Speaker 2: to this hour, we'll get to Alice Sharpton, We'll get
- 0:14Speaker 2: to crazy Mom Donnie and ridiculous Kathy Hokeel. And so
- 0:19Speaker 2: as we speak, the Iranian talks are to take place
- 0:23Speaker 2: in Pakistan and Steve Whitkoff, jd Vance, and Jared Kushner
- 0:30Speaker 2: will lead the talks. They're on their way in there now.
- 0:32Speaker 2: You know, you know, we say, I understand. I've known
- 0:35Speaker 2: Donald Trump for years. You know, used to be right
- 0:38Speaker 2: down the block there, one block away Trump Tower. You
- 0:40Speaker 2: go up to his office. It was nothing but fun
- 0:43Speaker 2: and excitement, celebrities coming and going. It was great. Who
- 0:47Speaker 2: would want to leave that and go sit in the
- 0:49Speaker 2: White House. I'm looking at his schedule today. You know,
- 0:51Speaker 2: he's meeting with the head of NATO. Who the hell
- 0:54Speaker 2: wants to talk to the head of NATO?
- 0:56Speaker 3: What?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Look at the schedule. He's meeting with the President of Peru.
- 1:02Speaker 2: You want to be in a room with the President
- 1:04Speaker 2: of Peru for an hour? What are you going to
- 1:05Speaker 2: say to him? And then look at this Steve Witcoff,
- 1:09Speaker 2: Jared Kushner, you know Jared used to be right here
- 1:11Speaker 2: in Manhattan building skyscrapers. He built that six sixty six building.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And you know they have a negotia where they go
- 1:18Speaker 2: around the corner have lunch at twenty one and that's
- 1:21Speaker 2: a nice life. He's leaving now for Islamabad, Pakistan to
- 1:26Speaker 2: meet with Iranian lunatics. Is this the way you want
- 1:29Speaker 2: to spend your weekend? Somebody says you, how was your weekend?
- 1:34Speaker 2: I went to Islamabad, Pakistan. I met with a bunch
- 1:37Speaker 2: of crazy lunatic fanatic terrort. Who the hell wants to
- 1:40Speaker 2: do that? But this is what these guys want to do.
- 1:43Speaker 2: All right? Right up the street that way, actually two
- 1:48Speaker 2: blocks away is the New York Sheridan, big huge hotel,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and that's where Al Sharpton is having his big convention.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah he still does is believe it or not. Every
- 1:58Speaker 2: year there's a Al Sharpton convention. It's his National Action Network.
- 2:04Speaker 2: That's what it's called, the National Action Network. So far,
- 2:10Speaker 2: the only action they've taken in the thirty years is
- 2:12Speaker 2: bank deposits. You give them money, they put it in
- 2:15Speaker 2: their bank account. You have a corporation, a company, whatever,
- 2:18Speaker 2: you got Al Sharpton shows up on behalf of the
- 2:22Speaker 2: National Action Network and starts to talk about you may
- 2:26Speaker 2: have bad policies here and it might not be in
- 2:29Speaker 2: a minority hiring. And he starts looking at you and well,
- 2:33Speaker 2: you know, Reverie, we're just about to give you a
- 2:34Speaker 2: big donation. I'm glad you're here. We'd like to give
- 2:36Speaker 2: five hundred thousand year foundation. And then all of a sudden,
- 2:40Speaker 2: you're fine with him. That's basically the National Action Network.
- 2:44Speaker 2: A lot of donations from a lot of companies there.
- 2:47Speaker 2: But he still has clout within the Democratic Party. You know,
- 2:52Speaker 2: remember telling you last week Ned Lamont in Connecticut he's
- 2:55Speaker 2: running for a third term as governor, and he had
- 2:59Speaker 2: to meet with Al Sharpton. He's not even here, he's
- 3:01Speaker 2: in Connecticut, but sure enough, a caravan of SUVs pulls
- 3:06Speaker 2: up in front of Lamont's office. Al Sharpton gets out, Yeah,
- 3:10Speaker 2: that's right, a caravan of SUVs with all these people.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I don't know who the hell all these people are
- 3:16Speaker 2: with him, but you know, you had to get the
- 3:18Speaker 2: blessing of Al Sharpton. So this still happens. And this
- 3:22Speaker 2: Sharpton convention opened yesterday and it goes through the weekend.
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's like four days of the Al Sharpton Convention, and
- 3:31Speaker 2: most of the twenty twenty eight presidential hopefuls on the
- 3:35Speaker 2: Democratic side have to show up. You have to kiss
- 3:38Speaker 2: the ring of Al Sharpton. And you got all the
- 3:41Speaker 2: local crazy Democrats there. Alvin Bragg is there, Jerry Nadler's
- 3:46Speaker 2: waddling around the lobby of the Sheraton. You got Don
- 3:51Speaker 2: Lemon is there. Of course, he's unemployed. He's got nothing
- 3:55Speaker 2: to do all day. He's got nowhere else to go.
- 3:58Speaker 2: But a lot of people come crawling over there to
- 4:00Speaker 2: get his get the Sharpton blessing. Josh Shapiro was there yesterday,
- 4:05Speaker 2: Governor of Pennsylvania. Keep an eye on him. You know,
- 4:08Speaker 2: nobody thinks him as a serious twenty twenty eight contender,
- 4:11Speaker 2: but eh, you never know. After all the craziness Democrats,
- 4:15Speaker 2: it's two years away. By then Democrats will have to
- 4:19Speaker 2: get back to common sense, rational candidates. So keep Josh
- 4:22Speaker 2: Shapiro in mind. JB. Pritzker is there, the big fat
- 4:27Speaker 2: Ralph Crampton looking Governor of Illinois. JB. Pritzker. If you're
- 4:32Speaker 2: at the convention, do not get in the buffet line
- 4:35Speaker 2: behind him. You know you'll be there a while. Mark Kelly,
- 4:38Speaker 2: that nasty looking senator, is there. He's the one that
- 4:42Speaker 2: was all over TV yelling about president blowing up bridges
- 4:46Speaker 2: and power plants. How that's a war crime. It's actually
- 4:50Speaker 2: standard in every war. In fact, usually opening day, that's
- 4:52Speaker 2: the first thing you do, is take out the bridges
- 4:54Speaker 2: and the power plants. The same Mark Kelly always bragged
- 4:57Speaker 2: about being a fighter pilot. I forgot to mention that's
- 5:00Speaker 2: what he did as a fighter pilot. He took out
- 5:02Speaker 2: bridges and power plants. But he's there. A lot of
- 5:06Speaker 2: people think he's going to try to run. I think
- 5:09Speaker 2: he's got problems though. He was under serious consideration to
- 5:13Speaker 2: be Kamalo's vice presidential choice. But from what I hear,
- 5:17Speaker 2: he did not pass the vetting. I don't know what's
- 5:20Speaker 2: in there, but that's what I keep hearing. You know
- 5:21Speaker 2: that Roe Conna, Roe Conna. He's that sleezy congressman always
- 5:29Speaker 2: on TV's like the new Adam Schiff, always attacking Trump,
- 5:32Speaker 2: spreading whatever fake talking point the Democrats have. He's real, dirty, sleezy, corrupt.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I shouldn't say corrupt, just dirty politician. Just say and
- 5:42Speaker 2: do anything. But Roe Conna he wants to run. So
- 5:47Speaker 2: he was there yesterday, Roe Conna at the Sharpton convention.
- 5:50Speaker 2: What kind of chance does he have. Well, I'll give
- 5:52Speaker 2: you an idea. Sharpton twice called him Roy Conna. He
- 5:56Speaker 2: didn't even know his name, Roy Kanna. But remember in
- 6:02Speaker 2: the beginning it was Sharpton who used to say, Mam dammy.
- 6:04Speaker 2: He couldn't pronounce his name either. But forget Roe Connor.
- 6:08Speaker 2: He's a member of the House. You can't go from
- 6:10Speaker 2: being a member of the House to being president. The
- 6:13Speaker 2: last time it happened was I think like Grover Cleveland
- 6:16Speaker 2: or somebody one hundred and fifty years ago. So we'll
- 6:20Speaker 2: see Tiger Woods. You know, he's leaving the country. He
- 6:24Speaker 2: needs rehab. It's like his fourth car crash, like third
- 6:28Speaker 2: d WI. That means like definite prison. So all you
- 6:32Speaker 2: can do is go to incredibly long rehab and then
- 6:38Speaker 2: come out claiming you're all better, problems solved, it's all over,
- 6:42Speaker 2: nothing to worry about. And then maybe the judge won't
- 6:44Speaker 2: send you to prison. And he's gotten permission to do
- 6:46Speaker 2: it overseas. So he's long gone. But while he's gone,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and you think he's got the best lawyers in the world.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But they lost a big round in the Florida court yesterday.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Prosecutors did get permission now to get his entire prescription
- 7:01Speaker 2: medicine records from the pharmacy Woods uses, the Lewis Pharmacy
- 7:09Speaker 2: in Florida. They've gotten permission to get all of his records.
- 7:12Speaker 2: They'll know every medication he's got, and that's not going
- 7:16Speaker 2: to be good. Remember when they arrested him, they did
- 7:18Speaker 2: find two hydro codone pills on him. That's like serious stuff.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know. In the old days, you had your pharmacy
- 7:27Speaker 2: that you used all the time, and the prosecutors could
- 7:31Speaker 2: figure out which your pharmacy was and they go get
- 7:33Speaker 2: your pharmacy records. But in the good old days, if
- 7:36Speaker 2: you were trying to do something under the radar, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 2: something you didn't want to know about, well you'd go
- 7:42Speaker 2: somewhere else, to a whole other pharmacy that nobody knows
- 7:45Speaker 2: you would go to, and you'd get it over there.
- 7:47Speaker 2: That way, they wouldn't find it when they went to
- 7:49Speaker 2: your pharmacy. Well, you can't do that anymore because it's
- 7:51Speaker 2: all online. You know, when you get a prescription. It
- 7:55Speaker 2: goes to some main central database, so they can look
- 7:58Speaker 2: in there. Even if if you went one thousand miles
- 8:01Speaker 2: away to another pharmacy, it'll still show up. So you
- 8:03Speaker 2: can't sneak around to different pharmacies. That won't work anymore.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Remember Woods told the cops after the crash, the reason
- 8:11Speaker 2: for the crash. I mean, it sounds like it was
- 8:14Speaker 2: a medication he was on and some of that serious
- 8:17Speaker 2: stuff he was taking says you can't drive with it.
- 8:20Speaker 2: But and that's the other thing. They're at his pharmacy.
- 8:22Speaker 2: They'll get the prescriptions and they'll see if it's said
- 8:26Speaker 2: in the warnings on the prescription, do not drive while
- 8:28Speaker 2: taking this. But he said the problem was the reason
- 8:31Speaker 2: for the crash. He was looking down at his cell
- 8:34Speaker 2: phone and he said he was changing the radio station.
- 8:38Speaker 2: That's how he got in the crash. He had leaned
- 8:40Speaker 2: over to change the radio station. You know, in the
- 8:43Speaker 2: old days, it was buttons. You could hit a button,
- 8:45Speaker 2: you didn't have to actually look. Now it's on screen,
- 8:48Speaker 2: so you have to actually turn your head and look
- 8:49Speaker 2: at the screen. So it's all this whole crash is
- 8:52Speaker 2: the fault of whoever was doing that radio show. Had
- 8:55Speaker 2: he done a better show, Tiger wouldn't have needed to
- 8:58Speaker 2: change the radio station. He didn't like what he was
- 9:00Speaker 2: hearing and had to change the station. That's the entire
- 9:03Speaker 2: reason for this crash, according to him. Hey, a mayor,
- 9:08Speaker 2: mom Donnie has confessed. He has admitted he can't do
- 9:14Speaker 2: free buses. There's not going to be any free buses.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You remember during the campaign, we kept explaining this idea
- 9:20Speaker 2: of the free buses is insane because the mayor has
- 9:24Speaker 2: absolutely no authority over the buses. They're all controlled by
- 9:28Speaker 2: the MTA, which is the state. It's run by Hochel.
- 9:33Speaker 2: The mayor has a couple of seats on the MTA board,
- 9:36Speaker 2: but that doesn't mean anything. It's controlled by the government.
- 9:40Speaker 2: There's absolutely nothing mom Donnie could do to make the
- 9:43Speaker 2: buses free. So he's now admitted that. One hundred days in,
- 9:46Speaker 2: he's confessed. He's instead turning his focus on restarting a
- 9:51Speaker 2: fair free bus pilot program. But he's still you'd have
- 9:54Speaker 2: to go to the city council and get that approved.
- 9:56Speaker 2: None of this will ever happen. It's just silly stuff
- 10:00Speaker 2: that he's doing. Hey, the Artemis space capsule will land
- 10:05Speaker 2: in the Pacific Ocean about fifty miles off Catalina. It's
- 10:09Speaker 2: tomorrow around five o'clock. Look at this, it says at
- 10:14Speaker 2: five seven pm, it'll land five oh seven pm. I
- 10:20Speaker 2: guess can they know exactly? Yeah, I guess they can
- 10:22Speaker 2: get in the airline. You get your plane thing that
- 10:24Speaker 2: says landing at four twenty two, and then you seven
- 10:29Speaker 2: hours late. So I don't know. I guess. I guess
- 10:31Speaker 2: it's not like they got a lot of traffic of
- 10:33Speaker 2: space capsules landing fifty miles off Catalina. But what did
- 10:38Speaker 2: we learn from their little spin around the moon? Well,
- 10:41Speaker 2: all kinds of things. Listen to the NASA.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Suppose the experiments about human health are going to give
- 10:47Speaker 1: us data that we need to be able to live
- 10:49Speaker 1: on the Moon longer as we develop the moon base
- 10:53Speaker 1: and be able to prepare for farther tips like going
- 10:56Speaker 1: on to Mars.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Well, i's see, there you go. That's the reason important
- 11:00Speaker 2: data on how to live longer on the Moon. I
- 11:02Speaker 2: don't anybody wants to live on the Moon. I've seen
- 11:05Speaker 2: the pictures I sent back. Doesn't look like I mean,
- 11:08Speaker 2: you don't look at the pictures of the moon, say
- 11:09Speaker 2: here you look they get a place there. I don't
- 11:11Speaker 2: think so. So once again, Rex Huerman has pled guilty.
- 11:16Speaker 2: He is going to prison for the rest of his life.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Three life sentences and that's it. He has a wife
- 11:24Speaker 2: who is the wife was there at the courtroom and
- 11:29Speaker 2: every watch Breaking Bad. I love that show. You know,
- 11:32Speaker 2: when the wife finds out that he's actually been making
- 11:36Speaker 2: drugs and working with drug dealers, how upset she gets.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So I mentioned this wife, you find out he's strangling
- 11:43Speaker 2: all kinds of women and dismembering I mean, you know,
- 11:48Speaker 2: and she's I guess stuck with him. She came to
- 11:50Speaker 2: the courtroom. I mean, I would get the hell away
- 11:52Speaker 2: from this guy. But here's the ex wife yesterday.
- 11:54Speaker 4: My thoughts and prayers are with the victims in their families.
- 11:59Speaker 4: The law is immeasurable and the focus should be on
- 12:05Speaker 4: them at this time.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, what else can you say? You know, he met
- 12:09Speaker 2: some of these women online on these dating apps. Some
- 12:13Speaker 2: of them were professional sex workers. But you know, anybody
- 12:17Speaker 2: that's on the dating apps, the women ever talk to them,
- 12:19Speaker 2: they always try to tell you about how bad the
- 12:20Speaker 2: dates are, how bad the men are. They always try
- 12:23Speaker 2: to you know, they all want to think they got
- 12:24Speaker 2: the worst horror story ever, and they wanted to go.
- 12:26Speaker 2: You won't believe what I got the worst first date.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And they tell you that he got a little drunk,
- 12:32Speaker 2: or he grabbed them, or you know, he got in
- 12:35Speaker 2: a fight in a restaurant. With the way, it's never
- 12:38Speaker 2: a real bad I mean, this would be the worst
- 12:41Speaker 2: first date story ever. I don't care what you think
- 12:43Speaker 2: is your worst first date. This would be the all
- 12:46Speaker 2: time champ. Yeah. At the end of the date, he
- 12:49Speaker 2: strangled me, then he dismembered me, and then he put
- 12:51Speaker 2: my body parts and buried me in the be This
- 12:53Speaker 2: would be the worst first date ever. But good news.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Will never see him again. He's going to prison forever. Hey,
- 13:00Speaker 2: Kathy Hokeel trying to speak yesterday. I think Bruce Blakeman's
- 13:03Speaker 2: going to win. I'm pretty sure Bruce Blakeman's gonna win.
- 13:07Speaker 2: He'd be the perfect governor. He's been a governor. He's
- 13:09Speaker 2: the governor of Nassau County and the best county executive
- 13:13Speaker 2: in America. Do a great job. He'd get us out
- 13:15Speaker 2: of this mess. Bruce Blakeman. Go to Blakemanfromnew York dot Com.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You can volunteer or donate there, but he's coming way
- 13:23Speaker 2: up in the pulse. And listen to the reaction Kathy
- 13:26Speaker 2: Hokel got yesterday speaking before a crowd, I.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Think a lot more members at you shut up, everybody,
- 13:40Speaker 3: thank you, appreciate.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Well.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I appreciate you covering this important topic because the people
- 13:50Speaker 3: may not realize everything I'm doing is focused on trying
- 13:53Speaker 3: to put more money back in their pockets.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like a winner to me. That doesn't
- 13:57Speaker 2: sound too good. So hey, remember the McDonald's CEO that
- 14:01Speaker 2: was They came out with this new burger. I actually
- 14:04Speaker 2: had it. I loved it. I thought it was great,
- 14:05Speaker 2: the Big Arch. It's the newest thing for McDonald It's
- 14:09Speaker 2: like bigger than a Big Mac. It's a huge burger
- 14:12Speaker 2: and it's really juicy and great. And it doesn't have
- 14:15Speaker 2: three pieces of bread. It's only two. It's more meat.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That's the problem to that Big Mac. The bread to
- 14:20Speaker 2: meat ratios off on it. But this is great, the
- 14:23Speaker 2: Big Arch. So the CEO did a little video TikTok
- 14:27Speaker 2: Instagram to promote it where you see him eating it,
- 14:30Speaker 2: but he didn't know the way he was holding it,
- 14:32Speaker 2: the way he took a bite. It looked ridiculous, and
- 14:34Speaker 2: it went viral because he looked so stupid eating this thing.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And he said. His kids called him right away and said, hey, dad,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you're gone viral. You're over the internet. But for the
- 14:43Speaker 2: wrong reasons. It's not good. So it was caused a
- 14:48Speaker 2: lot of flak. He was embarrassed. But give the guy credit.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You know, you can run and hide. But he said,
- 14:55Speaker 2: you know what, let me do another one. They've coming
- 14:58Speaker 2: out with this new some kind of new nuggets chicken
- 15:00Speaker 2: something with nuggets. It's a new version. So you know,
- 15:04Speaker 2: they say, get right back on the horse. He said,
- 15:06Speaker 2: let me do a video where I'm eating this. Uh.
- 15:10Speaker 2: He looked even sillier eating eating the nugt because he
- 15:12Speaker 2: took such a little bite. You know, when you got
- 15:14Speaker 2: one of those nuggets, you throw the whole thing in
- 15:16Speaker 2: your mouth. He took a little tiny bite of it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: It looked too delicate, didn't look right. Now he's getting
- 15:21Speaker 2: ridiculed all over again. People just making fun of him,
- 15:25Speaker 2: saying the way he's eating that, it's taking him a
- 15:27Speaker 2: week to finish one nugget. So, hey, podcasts, you know
- 15:33Speaker 2: how many podcasts there are? You know, everybody in the
- 15:35Speaker 2: world has a podcast. I mean there's professionals like us,
- 15:39Speaker 2: we do podcasts, but there's every amateur in the world
- 15:42Speaker 2: has a podcast. Everybody, every real estate agent, the dentist, everybody,
- 15:48Speaker 2: every housewife. They all got a fake podcast, the amateur podcast.
- 15:51Speaker 2: How many podcasts are there in the world, four point
- 15:56Speaker 2: five million. There are now four point five million podcasts.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Half a billion people listen to podcasts every day across
- 16:06Speaker 2: the all over the world. In the United States, one
- 16:09Speaker 2: hundred and fifty eight million people listen to podcasts one
- 16:12Speaker 2: hundred and fifty eight million. The why have they become
- 16:17Speaker 2: so poppular? You know why? I think it is people
- 16:18Speaker 2: don't read books anymore. He used to read a book.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Now people don't. They can't read a book, They'll just
- 16:25Speaker 2: listen to the podcast that's today's version of a book.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Like that new Arsenio Hall book comes out and there's
- 16:31Speaker 2: some pretty interesting stories in there about what happened to
- 16:34Speaker 2: him in Network TV. I said, this is a great
- 16:37Speaker 2: I gotta read this. I mean, he's really But then
- 16:39Speaker 2: I find out he's on the Conan O'Brien podcast for
- 16:41Speaker 2: an hour, So I'm thinking, why do we need to
- 16:44Speaker 2: read the book? I'm just I'm sure Conan will know
- 16:46Speaker 2: all the right things to ask from the book and
- 16:48Speaker 2: get all the stories out so that I think that's
- 16:50Speaker 2: why podcasts became so big. Hey, if you want to
- 16:53Speaker 2: see the top one hundred podcasts, go to my Twitter.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I got it up there. It's the list of the
- 16:58Speaker 2: top one hundred podcasts in the world. Actually, this this show,
- 17:02Speaker 2: this podcast, we're in the top fifty. But if you
- 17:04Speaker 2: want to see the top one hundred, mark simone en
- 17:07Speaker 2: why at Twitter? Hey, we'll take some calls. Next, eight
- 17:10Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
