  I started renting a parking lot in Hartford, CT Then we rented

  it. We had booked it for a season.

  It was like 3 third event in they cancelled it on us.

  What auto crossers? They're like they're going to

  ruin the blacktop. They're they're making it so we

  can't auto. Cross well, like, yeah.

  I had a year long insurance policy, that's, yeah.

  So it's my first time losing money and drifting.

  How can they? Just that's weird.

  It's their parking lot. They didn't want you to do it

  anymore. But it was like the people that

  went, it was memorable. So it's right next to the

  highway, like a raised highway okay.

  We had everybody from general Passer Byers to state do dot

  trucks. With their cameras videotaping

  So it's like it's almost inner city, right?

  So there was people coming on their dirt bikes.

  There's a walk, I want to say a walking path, a bridge, a

  pedestrian bridge across the highway, riding their dirt bikes

  over the bridge just to come and watch.

  And it's like, it was really cool.

  Isn't that I've heard like okay that reminds me of like your

  drift days. But also remember when Alexis

  King talked to us, talked to us about like.

  The fairgrounds and stuff, how it was like that too, I don't

  remember where. What was that place in Long

  Island that they did it at night in Queens?

  Queens. That's what they would look at

  the overpass, Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of when you're

  It was a straight, paralleled and super illegal, yeah, but for

  It wasn't East Coast Bash, It was one of the earlier ones.

  One ride along I was done. I I was a big, I was a big

  Volkswagen person. I had a Mark 2 Jetta TDI

  swapped. Very clean, nicely done.

  As soon as I was on my way home, I listed it for sale and that

  It was a big Volkswagen show there.

  I've been there. That's the one that I know that

  is a Volkswagen show. Yeah, like.

  Waterfest. So So I knew the trek and I was

  just like I had bought an E30. No way.

  You know, low boy. I like low cars, you know, and

  you're trying to do something local.

  Yeah, and. I had already done car shows,

  So staggered. I started that in like 2008 and

  I was like, can't be that much different, right?

  The only big difference was I had to get the insurance policy.

  barriers between the the pits and that.

  And I was trying to think of it. I went out, me and my buddy

  the time. We bought a.

  No. 50 blue barrels to fill them with water, right?

  Because they said we have concrete barriers or you could

  do plastic filled barriers they call you know.

  Like the Jersey little things, yeah.

  Yeah, those are like 400 bucks apiece.

  OK, good to know. I'm going to try not to destroy

  one of those. Yeah, they're very expensive.

  So I was like, hey, I'm just going to buy these food.

  They we ended up buying food grade barriers smell like BBQ

  sauce. It's.

  Like it's a W and we had the, you know, there was a gas

  station next to the parking lot. We I worked out a deal with them
• 9:41
  and paid them 50 bucks to use their water, fill them all up.

  I take two trips down there. It's not easy to stack these

  barrels on a trailer. Yeah, what?

  Filled. Yeah, water.

  Well, no, that's. No, we've filled them with at

  the gas station on on premise but and then we would drain them
• 9:57
  each day or and yeah, yeah. And then for like 3 years, water

  these blue barrels in my backyard.

  Probably a lot. Of them too.

  Yeah, it was, yeah, it was about 30 because I got rid of a bunch,

  but I'd like it slowly dwindled down.

  And those were the parking lot days.

  How much, how much they rent that to you for that parking lot
