Jefferson County Schools is extending free breakfast and lunch to all students through 2027, building on a successful three-year program that removes hunger as a barrier to learning. Thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision, the district can serve meals without collecting applications, freeing up staff to focus on nutritious, appealing food and giving students more time to eat.
