- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Relatables, really learn how to be a supportive partner and
- 0:04Speaker 2: an equal partner and the things that women are really
- 0:07Speaker 2: looking for.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Relatable The Relatable Podcast by myself, Addie Clark ak Mom
- 0:23Speaker 3: and my partner in crime is the Jake Craig Ak Daddy,
- 0:27Speaker 3: Daddy and Baddius. This is a serious episode because we're
- 0:32Speaker 3: raw dogging we're raw doggan. What do you do as
- 0:35Speaker 3: parents when you have.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Unwrapped, lubed up raw dogginger?
- 0:40Speaker 3: I wish you didn't just say that, because I was
- 0:42Speaker 3: going to say, what do you say when, like, if
- 0:44Speaker 3: we had a son, we had to sit him down,
- 0:46Speaker 3: have a tough conversation about him and his actions.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Oh what's he done? You'll find out? I thought you
- 0:53Speaker 1: were going to talking about the sex chat. Oh yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: that too. Yeah we could throw that in there everyone.
- 0:58Speaker 1: The Birds and the Bees and the tds, the Birds
- 1:01Speaker 1: and the beat. What's it called the Birds and the
- 1:02Speaker 1: Bees for? I don't know did you ever have that chat? Really?
- 1:06Speaker 1: My parents never had that.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It was so awkward. Ay, my dad didn't know what
- 1:09Speaker 3: to do. He didn't have a scooby do.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I don't remember.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I remember he like I was like.
- 1:13Speaker 1: He didn't have a Scooby Doo. Yeah, haven't you heard that?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Saying really, nope, he didn't never Scooby do what was
- 1:19Speaker 3: going on? I've been using that heaps lately. It's like, oh,
- 1:23Speaker 3: you haven't, Yes, I have, because it's because you don't.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I haven't heard you.
- 1:27Speaker 3: That's because you don't hang out with me enough anymore.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Canceling session in play Nah so bad. He's within the
- 1:36Speaker 3: world is the manisphere?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:39Speaker 1: I thought you were going to talk to me about
- 1:40Speaker 1: Scooby Doo skibby Do.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I love Scooby Doo Shaggy and that that was my favorite.
- 1:44Speaker 1: But he doesn't. And I just don't think that's the
- 1:46Speaker 1: saying yes.
- 1:47Speaker 3: It is he didn't have Scooby do what was going on?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Like it's when something someone or something doesn't understand what's
- 1:53Speaker 3: going on, like say someone was.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Trying to like it.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Someone was trying to park a reverse park and they
- 1:57Speaker 3: did it three times and then left because they couldn't
- 1:59Speaker 3: make it.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Doesn't have it. He doesn't have a Scooby Do like it. Yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I haven't you heard that. I didn't come up with it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I wish I could claim it instead of saying he
- 2:05Speaker 1: hasn't got a clue. Yeah, he hasn't got a Scooby Doo.
- 2:07Speaker 1: He hasn't got a Scooby do. What's going I fucking
- 2:10Speaker 1: like that.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I swear it's a full full saying.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'll ask my dad.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Maybe it's a bit older old nos like that.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Your parents would no, they would know.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I don't even know where I got it from. Maybe
- 2:21Speaker 3: I should claim it. I'm going to cut it, and guys,
- 2:23Speaker 3: I've got new saying. When people don't know what's going on,
- 2:26Speaker 3: they do something dumb. They don't have a Scooby doo.
- 2:27Speaker 1: What's going on? I love it.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Scooby Do, Scooby do, what's going on?
- 2:33Speaker 1: You've heard it? No?
- 2:35Speaker 3: No, no, no, you just made that straight from the sauce, mate,
- 2:37Speaker 3: you made straight.
- 2:40Speaker 1: From the bottle. Yeah, that's it. When but Australians say sauce,
- 2:43Speaker 1: it sounds like sauce sauce.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I'm a catch up man. Yeah, and like if anyone
- 2:49Speaker 3: tells me different, that catch up and tomato sauce tastes
- 2:52Speaker 3: the same. We are no longer friends. And you don't
- 2:55Speaker 3: have a Scooby do.
- 2:55Speaker 1: They don't taste the same.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I full proved my girlfriend wrong, made her blind test
- 3:00Speaker 3: both of them forced it and I'm kidding and she said, oh,
- 3:04Speaker 3: catchup taste better, and it tastes different, and then she goes,
- 3:06Speaker 3: they taste the same.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Though, I'm like, how how be proven wrong?
- 3:11Speaker 5: So you were like, see, here's the thing. It's like,
- 3:13Speaker 5: at what point in time do you say, let me
- 3:16Speaker 5: prove you wrong? But I'm sure it felt pretty good.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Go great.
- 3:19Speaker 3: She still doesn't admit it. It's like because it's a
- 3:21Speaker 3: tough one though, because tomato sauce obviously does the job.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Still like, I'm not going to say, notice in tomato
- 3:27Speaker 3: sauce if it's no sauce or tomato sauce taken the tomato
- 3:29Speaker 3: so sauce a bit sweet. But when you have catchup
- 3:31Speaker 3: and tomato sauce, you go catch up every day of
- 3:34Speaker 3: the week.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I used to be tomato sauce, but I'm ketchup now. Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Same so so was I I feel like and once
- 3:38Speaker 3: you go there, you can't go back.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Once you go, you can't go Yeah, it's filling the gas.
- 3:44Speaker 3: It's the same way. Once you go Pepsi max, you
- 3:47Speaker 3: can't go back to coke zero of course.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yeah, and once you go you can't go filling the
- 3:54Speaker 5: gaps again.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Well, interesting start, I might say, yeah, yeah, yeah, this
- 4:02Speaker 3: is constructive criticism for men. The relatables voice mails with
- 4:06Speaker 3: the prompt being how can men do better? Yeah, and
- 4:09Speaker 3: we got sent I'm going to say, over two hundred
- 4:13Speaker 3: of the baddies saying things that men could do better.
- 4:15Speaker 3: And I thought this would be a great episode. I'm
- 4:17Speaker 3: going to say, well, it's coming straight from the source.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Where else the tomato sauce, the bottle. Yeah, it's coming
- 4:23Speaker 3: straight from the bottle.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, And what better place to improve as a man
- 4:28Speaker 3: than hearing what you could do better in a constructive way.
- 4:31Speaker 3: We're not attacking, we're not saying your shit. Well that
- 4:34Speaker 3: you are, but you're not actually that shit, and you
- 4:36Speaker 3: can do better because there are some good men out there.
- 4:38Speaker 3: But it's also insightful to see it from a different
- 4:40Speaker 3: gender's perspective.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I think, I think so yeah, yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 3: And what I was going on with before, especially in
- 4:46Speaker 3: the lot of the World is the manisphere.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we watched that documentary. We watched that documentary, and
- 4:52Speaker 1: obviously one word to describe that.
- 4:55Speaker 3: If I had one word and you had one word
- 4:57Speaker 3: three two one, revolting, that was close.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, because I wanted to say hard watch like it
- 5:03Speaker 1: was a hard but it was revolting.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, And there's so many key issues that I think
- 5:08Speaker 3: will just naturally come out in conversation. You know I'm
- 5:12Speaker 3: serious about is when I bring the laptop out instead
- 5:15Speaker 3: of the phone. So I've got do you want to know
- 5:17Speaker 3: how many I've got?
- 5:19Speaker 1: I do? I would love to know meyboard? What yourn?
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm you're working me hard? Ten? Ten? I got ten?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Let's go. How can men do better?
- 5:31Speaker 4: I'd say consideration is really underrated, Like very rarely do
- 5:37Speaker 4: you meet a guy that's just really quite thoughtful and
- 5:40Speaker 4: considerate of other people. Really, that's like in the surroundings
- 5:43Speaker 4: and his relationship or you know, like within his family.
- 5:49Speaker 4: How someone would just really like put the best interest
- 5:51Speaker 4: of others, even in like the smaller moments, just like
- 5:55Speaker 4: a top of mind. You know, it's not it's not
- 5:58Speaker 4: really like even a sacrifice, just it's just just consider it.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:03Speaker 4: So, Yeah, I think that's something that would be really
- 6:06Speaker 4: lovely to start seeing.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So mindfulness towards consideration.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and to everyone, Hey, I feel like even I
- 6:13Speaker 3: think everyone.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Is very self centered.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's a big issue within the world and
- 6:19Speaker 3: being considerate of how someone else is feeling or what
- 6:21Speaker 3: they're going through, and said scenario is a hard skill
- 6:25Speaker 3: to master.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe try to be a bit more of an impath.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think because I don't know, especially with the world.
- 6:33Speaker 3: We said it in last Raw Dog, it's a hard place,
- 6:35Speaker 3: a like everything that's going on in the world, and
- 6:38Speaker 3: then you feel so miniscal and your problems feel like
- 6:41Speaker 3: they're nothing, but then they're so big to you, and
- 6:43Speaker 3: like everyone's got their own problems. But then you're like,
- 6:46Speaker 3: my problems are taking up my time. What do I
- 6:48Speaker 3: care about your problems? It's just it's a balancing act
- 6:51Speaker 3: and if you can really practice empathy, it's a great
- 6:54Speaker 3: skill to have.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I would say consideration. Let me think, I guess
- 6:59Speaker 5: consider ration, like she was saying, just in the small moments.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of men.
- 7:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna say, I've been pretty guilty of it in
- 7:07Speaker 5: the past, and maybe I'm pretty guilty of it moments.
- 7:08Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 7:09Speaker 5: But little things like put the soil to toilet sit down. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 5: that's a small, small, minuscule considerate things, barely considerate, but
- 7:20Speaker 5: like just put the toilet down, or.
- 7:22Speaker 3: The little things in but the little things that up, Yeah, like.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Put your dish in the dishwasher, or I don't know,
- 7:27Speaker 5: put your lawn.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Tell what pieces me off? Little people shopping and then
- 7:31Speaker 3: they just leave their trolley in the car park. Lazy motherfucker.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Walk your back.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Ah, I've done it recently. Really, it was piercing down rain,
- 7:43Speaker 1: was considerate. I'm leaving it. Guess what, you're a man?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I am a man. Yeah, you know, I am a
- 7:51Speaker 1: Man's coming to a realization. I just woke up. I
- 7:56Speaker 1: am a man.
- 7:57Speaker 5: You you're woke. Best took it back though.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's what we're talking about. A great example, YEA.
- 8:07Speaker 2: One thing men can do to be better is to
- 8:09Speaker 2: go to therapy and learn how to be better supportive
- 8:14Speaker 2: partners and learn how to learn about their partner. I
- 8:18Speaker 2: think that's something that sometimes men don't know. They think
- 8:21Speaker 2: that they can just like ask these basic questions, but
- 8:23Speaker 2: really learn how to be a supportive partner and an
- 8:26Speaker 2: equal partner and the things that women are really looking.
- 8:29Speaker 1: For, love it supportive and equal. Yeah, I love that.
- 8:34Speaker 3: How many men do you think don't know about their partner?
- 8:37Speaker 3: Oh a lot, Yeah, you would say.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Like us included, there's probably things we don't know.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I was even thinking we I feel like this might
- 8:43Speaker 3: be a good way to break down these voice messages.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Is like a surface level way to think of it,
- 8:47Speaker 3: and also a deeper way I reckon even a lot
- 8:50Speaker 3: of men wouldn't even know about the female anatomy. Yeah no, no, no,
- 8:55Speaker 3: no no no no, that wouldn't.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I find that wild?
- 8:58Speaker 3: Like I was n was naive, still probably have a
- 9:02Speaker 3: lot to learn. I don't want to put myself on
- 9:03Speaker 3: a pedestal, but also feel that's wild.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Look, yeah, I'm trying to think here there's no real
- 9:13Speaker 5: excuse for it, but I guess it's just like a
- 9:17Speaker 5: black of mine answer. If that's what happened, it just
- 9:19Speaker 5: would be so like.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It's a bigger problem in a sense of it should
- 9:22Speaker 3: be schooled or like an individual learns on their own terms.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's a good question. I don't actually know.
- 9:28Speaker 5: I think I would say I only know about it
- 9:31Speaker 5: from girlfriends.
- 9:34Speaker 3: I'd take girlfriends on this podcast.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I can confidently say that the reason I don't know
- 9:40Speaker 5: out of curiosity, if that makes sense, Like the reason
- 9:42Speaker 5: I know it is because I was told Yeah, not
- 9:45Speaker 5: because I was like, how many days is your cycle?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Or what is this phase and what does it mean?
- 9:53Speaker 5: You know, like, I don't think I ever asked the questions,
- 9:56Speaker 5: So it's like, maybe more the right answer is how
- 9:59Speaker 5: do we give peop to be more curious and just
- 10:02Speaker 5: like care more.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Yeah, is coming back to consideration a little bit too,
- 10:08Speaker 3: because yeah, it's like everyone's different, but then also women
- 10:12Speaker 3: are different.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, everyone's are in person as well.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Exactly what can men do to be better? I think
- 10:19Speaker 6: they can start with moral compass. They can work on
- 10:22Speaker 6: having a better moral compass, not as flexible as most
- 10:26Speaker 6: men have right now. And they can work on listening better.
- 10:31Speaker 6: They can be more open minded and humble because we
- 10:35Speaker 6: understand they don't know a lot about gender dynamics because
- 10:38Speaker 6: they are at the you know, at the advantageous position
- 10:42Speaker 6: of it. But as long as they are open to learning,
- 10:46Speaker 6: I think it works. And yeah, it's it's enough and
- 10:51Speaker 6: and men are lovely otherwise.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yes, let's go, yes, slave, let's go. Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 5: I think the thing I took from that about is like,
- 10:59Speaker 5: from that the most would be excepting the fact that
- 11:02Speaker 5: you're in the advantageous position, just being a man.
- 11:07Speaker 3: That's interesting as what I took from that, like morally,
- 11:11Speaker 3: the line between right and wrong, especially to make money
- 11:15Speaker 3: financially online is so blurred. Ye have some morals, dude,
- 11:21Speaker 3: especially like watching that doc and like I knew those
- 11:24Speaker 3: problems already, Like it's a glorified scam artist. Yeah, and
- 11:27Speaker 3: then you call it of course.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Legit bro also right, So there's like one of the
- 11:32Speaker 5: guys on the documentary is like out here brainwashing men
- 11:39Speaker 5: into and saying like you, as a man, are a
- 11:43Speaker 5: worthless Like you're worthless unless you create something like and
- 11:50Speaker 5: he's saying, you know, you're not a woman.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Women are born. Women are born with beauty, They're born
- 11:57Speaker 1: with value.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Yeah, women are born with value. Women are born being
- 12:01Speaker 5: invited onto yachts. You're a man, You're never going to
- 12:03Speaker 5: be invited onto your.
- 12:04Speaker 1: It's like when did we get there? Like what are
- 12:07Speaker 1: you talking about?
- 12:07Speaker 5: And also in what world are you living in where
- 12:13Speaker 5: you think that men are the ones born at a
- 12:15Speaker 5: disadvantage and then to go and convince other men, like
- 12:20Speaker 5: very influenceable men, that they are born at a disadvantage
- 12:25Speaker 5: and convince them that women are the ones are born
- 12:27Speaker 5: at an advantage.
- 12:29Speaker 1: We live in a patriarchy. What the fuck are you
- 12:33Speaker 1: talking about?
- 12:34Speaker 3: It's crazy, it's the moral compass of its preying on young, impressional,
- 12:38Speaker 3: impressionable men haven't made their own way through the world,
- 12:42Speaker 3: and they're lost and they need good guidance, they need
- 12:45Speaker 3: good male role models and they can't find them. And
- 12:48Speaker 3: they see these people online who are I don't know,
- 12:52Speaker 3: gallivanting around with these terrible ideologies about life, the patriarchy
- 12:56Speaker 3: and everything like that. It's kind of disgusting. It's kind
- 12:58Speaker 3: of like sad annoying. I was watching it, like I
- 13:02Speaker 3: don't I don't think cringe is the right word. I
- 13:04Speaker 3: was just like watching a thing and these can't be
- 13:06Speaker 3: fucking real.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Okay. Also, like, how can anyone think like.
- 13:08Speaker 5: This with this documentary all the men that we're in it, right, Like,
- 13:16Speaker 5: so my question would be like, where are you finding
- 13:23Speaker 5: all of this worth?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Like is your worth.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Coming from knowing that you are convincing all these young
- 13:33Speaker 5: men that they aren't worth anything unless they get something
- 13:37Speaker 5: and build money and get women and tell women what
- 13:40Speaker 5: to do and hate women basically type of thing.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right, And then like they also.
- 13:49Speaker 5: All scam other people to make money and then live
- 13:57Speaker 5: this lavish life and say that they feel really fulfilled. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 5: And it's like, but would you be fulfilled without the money,
- 14:08Speaker 5: and also would you be fulfilled like because without the money,
- 14:13Speaker 5: they don't have anything. No, if that made their whole
- 14:16Speaker 5: self worth is pretty much money because if the money
- 14:23Speaker 5: was gone, I can guarantee you the person that's filming
- 14:26Speaker 5: them every day isn't going to hang around because they're
- 14:28Speaker 5: not getting paid. The person that's pretending to be their
- 14:31Speaker 5: friend and be in all the fucking live streams and
- 14:34Speaker 5: clips isn't going to hang around because they're not getting paid.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Like, they wouldn't have anything. Yeah, and even that life
- 14:40Speaker 3: that they're portraying online isn't real. No, Like they're saying
- 14:44Speaker 3: that men's worth comes from making something for themselves, monetary business,
- 14:49Speaker 3: whatever it is. It's all lives if aside the airban
- 14:52Speaker 3: band places, they're renting cars, they're doing all these fake
- 14:54Speaker 3: things just to scam people to make money.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It's crazy, a it is.
- 14:59Speaker 5: It's so weird it all right.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Next one apparently cleaned their asses.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Are studies that are.
- 15:06Speaker 6: Shocking where men don't clean their asses in between the cheek,
- 15:10Speaker 6: you know, like this is not my mother's tongue.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But please you can't quote me, like please.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Wash your ass yo, good tip. But I just say, men,
- 15:22Speaker 3: wash your arses those dingle berries to be adding up.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Here's my question is like she said that with a passion.
- 15:29Speaker 5: She had passion and some real purpose behind that. So
- 15:32Speaker 5: it's like, how many men's asses have you eaten to
- 15:35Speaker 5: have needed to say that?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Even if it's eating gone down there?
- 15:40Speaker 1: What the is that?
- 15:41Speaker 7: Yo?
- 15:42Speaker 1: That's been crazy? Have been eaten a lot of cheer
- 15:44Speaker 1: seeds lately? Don't tell me they're stuck down there.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Dude, they're not stuck, but like I just want like
- 15:50Speaker 5: a full cheer seed would just be on the toilet.
- 15:51Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm a bird. Like, I'm a bird,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I eat s, I'm a bird. You live a different
- 16:04Speaker 1: life set.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'm literally what kind of bird?
- 16:08Speaker 1: If you could be a bird? Yeah, genuinely what birds?
- 16:15Speaker 1: No cockta is actually pretty cool? Loud, very loud, scary.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Maybe take that back here. If I was a bird, pigeon, nah, yeah,
- 16:25Speaker 1: you're a pigeon. Yeah, let's move on. You're a pigeon.
- 16:31Speaker 5: That's crazy, as you know you're a pigeon.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Anyone you would be a pigeon.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I was a bird, I'd be a cassowerry and I'd
- 16:39Speaker 5: hunt you down, and I'd tell.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You I'd be an. I'd just run away. Brother.
- 16:42Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure as is going to catch the fastest
- 16:45Speaker 5: bird in the world. I don't know where you heard that,
- 16:49Speaker 5: and I'm pretty sure is going to catch.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Isn't it is one of all the feathers.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Isn't it a cassowary?
- 16:56Speaker 5: That's a Peacockses are like dinosaurs, Bro, big ass legs,
- 17:01Speaker 5: long ours legs, they don't fly, and they'll tear you apart.
- 17:06Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure a cassowary is catching a fucking emuay.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I getch, Bro, it's like the same thing as that.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Oh yeah, cow's a little bit wrong. They do have
- 17:12Speaker 3: those feathers. I'll tell y what's faster A Cassey that's
- 17:15Speaker 3: best friend first and AMU is faster top speed fifty
- 17:24Speaker 3: kilometers per hour, Cassey forty to fifty and I'm obviously
- 17:29Speaker 3: going to be the.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Case that's a fifty. It'd be the brother they like
- 17:32Speaker 1: the same bird. That's fucking right. It'd be tight race.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But I'll have you.
- 17:39Speaker 8: I think men need to understand that we don't care
- 17:44Speaker 8: about like we're not impressed about how much money they
- 17:49Speaker 8: make or how much they spend on dinner. I don't
- 17:52Speaker 8: even want you to pay for me on the first
- 17:53Speaker 8: few days. Like, that's not why we're out here. Many
- 17:57Speaker 8: need to understand that we are looking to find a
- 18:02Speaker 8: partner that we enjoy spending time with. So we need
- 18:05Speaker 8: to have interests and hobbies and travel and be a
- 18:11Speaker 8: whole person because we're not dependent on you anymore. I
- 18:15Speaker 8: don't need you to survive, but I would love to
- 18:18Speaker 8: have you be part of my life.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Oh damn, that's valid.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It's such a good way to put it. At the end.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Yeah, like imagic. Okay, men, this is where I'm talking about.
- 18:33Speaker 5: This was that baddie that said something back? Consideration Like
- 18:35Speaker 5: consider this, Okay, consider this.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You're a woman.
- 18:41Speaker 5: You make your own money, you pay your own bills,
- 18:46Speaker 5: you're independent, you're a man. The thing you think you
- 18:53Speaker 5: gotta bring too a relationship is looking after the woman.
- 18:57Speaker 1: She looks after herself. What's she gonna get? Personality? Fucking
- 19:02Speaker 1: do something? Hobbies, Yeah, have opinions, get a personally, have opinions,
- 19:07Speaker 1: be nice.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Have good morals, have fun, be your own person.
- 19:11Speaker 1: The fuck.
- 19:12Speaker 3: It's such a simple concept, though, it really is. I
- 19:16Speaker 3: guess you can also consider the position where women have
- 19:20Speaker 3: evolved from in a place of they've come from having
- 19:25Speaker 3: to stay in a relationship, to have a roof over
- 19:28Speaker 3: their head, to have bills being paid from them for them,
- 19:31Speaker 3: And now they're in a position, it's a beautiful position
- 19:34Speaker 3: now where they are their own person and they still
- 19:36Speaker 3: want us. They've made they've made the decision to still
- 19:40Speaker 3: want us after all that shit. Like, I think that's
- 19:44Speaker 3: such a good outlook, dog.
- 19:53Speaker 7: Honestly, I feel like men, Okay, not all of them.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Some men just.
- 19:58Speaker 7: Inherently view women being like overly dramatic and emotional and
- 20:03Speaker 7: like silly, and they don't even realize it, but it
- 20:06Speaker 7: makes it so that so many men just like don't
- 20:08Speaker 7: take women seriously and inherently view them as being like
- 20:12Speaker 7: less capable of like displaying good logic and sound judgment.
- 20:18Speaker 7: And it's just it's really pervasive. So yeah, it's kind
- 20:21Speaker 7: of exhausting and sucks.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Pervasive the week? What does that mean?
- 20:26Speaker 5: Sorry, I took other things from that. Pervasive is pervasive?
- 20:31Speaker 5: Let me tell you one thing. I know for a fact,
- 20:33Speaker 5: you know more than I do, that would take you
- 20:35Speaker 5: way more seriously than a man because that word.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess you look it up I guess it
- 20:40Speaker 3: comes It just comes down to how men view women
- 20:45Speaker 3: in day to day life. They really don't take a
- 20:48Speaker 3: lot of them. Seriously, that's not all men.
- 20:51Speaker 1: True.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Yeah, it's easy to say it's not all men, isn't it?
- 20:54Speaker 5: She said it just the she Here we go?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Can I guess?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Okay, go, what does pervasive mean? Assuming someone's value, it.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Means something is spreading widely and thoroughly throughout, something present
- 21:09Speaker 5: everywhere with a given space or group. So you're wrong
- 21:14Speaker 5: that she's right to say it's pervasive, that it's like.
- 21:17Speaker 3: A thing, that it's like an ever growing problem.
- 21:19Speaker 5: So like you could say, example, social media has a
- 21:22Speaker 5: pervasive influence on modern culture.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Ah, excellent, sense smart? Bad? Yeah how about bad?
- 21:30Speaker 5: He's like, I feel like what happens is the baddies
- 21:34Speaker 5: are just out there working these jobs that are just
- 21:36Speaker 5: like high brain power jobs, just absolutely.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Fucking ship up.
- 21:40Speaker 5: And then every now and then they just think, yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 5: this this is tiring. I need to listen to a
- 21:45Speaker 5: couple of idiots just like chat for an hour.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I was gonna ask, do you reckon? They they're thinking
- 21:52Speaker 3: that majority of them are like, oh I wonder what
- 21:55Speaker 3: I can't even say pervasive.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Means no, no, no, no, they had they listened to
- 21:59Speaker 5: what that baddie just said.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Alright, all the.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Batteries listening, listen to what that baddy just said, and
- 22:03Speaker 5: then thought, I can't wait to hear what and then
- 22:05Speaker 5: they hear me go.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Dipped their heads and they were like, I saw a comment.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I don't think that was it, but it was on
- 22:15Speaker 3: Patreon and it was something that our audience loves about us.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I can't remember what they said about me, but they
- 22:21Speaker 3: said with you, they love you. ADHD makes them fun,
- 22:28Speaker 3: makes them feel what, It makes them feel more normal,
- 22:31Speaker 3: that they're not alone because like all the baddies A
- 22:33Speaker 3: right here D. Yeah, yeah, I think it's a very
- 22:35Speaker 3: relatable thing. And I think, like you, I like that.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I think I'm like I point zero of what ADHD no, no, no, no.
- 22:46Speaker 1: No question to the battery.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Should I try and get tested, like I feel like
- 22:49Speaker 5: I get through life relatively. I have like here's what
- 22:51Speaker 5: happens to me is like I could have three weeks
- 22:54Speaker 5: of like pretty blissful life and then I could have
- 22:57Speaker 5: like a week of like.
- 23:00Speaker 3: May I reckon, you're high on the ADHD s Galway.
- 23:05Speaker 3: You last week on the raw dog. You were telling
- 23:07Speaker 3: a story and you completely missed the kicker because it
- 23:10Speaker 3: involved your dog. And then you went on a side
- 23:12Speaker 3: tension of how your dog killed a bird. Yeah he did, yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 3: yeah he killed And there was like a seven minute
- 23:19Speaker 3: story and I'm there sitting there patiently trying to get
- 23:22Speaker 3: back to like the topic at hand, and then you
- 23:24Speaker 3: were just like odd man, this fucking dog dude, Like
- 23:28Speaker 3: he's like, adhd isn't a bad thing?
- 23:31Speaker 5: Nah?
- 23:32Speaker 1: I think it's kind of cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I reckon.
- 23:34Speaker 3: It'd be interesting to like go along the journey of
- 23:36Speaker 3: you getting tested.
- 23:37Speaker 5: He's the thing is like, will a doctor take it seriously?
- 23:39Speaker 5: From like, look, I'm pretty sure I have that I
- 23:41Speaker 5: functioned quite well, but I just want to know a
- 23:43Speaker 5: good doctor. Would I feel like you're paying.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Wait a second, don't. Isn't it like seven hundred bucks?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my girl friend did that. I don't know.
- 23:53Speaker 3: It's another DIAGNOSI hasn't done it because it was seven
- 23:56Speaker 3: hundred dollars. Fuck a bit of a rigamar roll of
- 23:59Speaker 3: its seven hundred dollars tax right off?
- 24:01Speaker 1: But what if I got meds? Wait? What's it called for? Advance?
- 24:06Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:06Speaker 1: What if they gave me a prescription.
- 24:08Speaker 5: What if they were like, Jake, we've watched you for
- 24:10Speaker 5: a couple of days here, like they get you to
- 24:11Speaker 5: go in every once in a while to do some.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Tests or whatever. Does your brother that nah? And then
- 24:15Speaker 1: my younger brother in Canada does that's what it was?
- 24:18Speaker 3: You've gone that soon?
- 24:19Speaker 1: I am going.
- 24:21Speaker 5: But imagine they just go like, oh, look, Jake's been
- 24:24Speaker 5: a couple of days, like yeah, you need this, you
- 24:27Speaker 5: need this, And.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Then I just come to the podcast a different human.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I hear some people say it changes their life, and
- 24:32Speaker 3: then other people say that it sucks.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Yeah, some people don't like it. I don't feel like themselves.
- 24:37Speaker 3: They don't feel like themselves. It takes away they're spark.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Then some people were like, I've never been able to
- 24:40Speaker 3: concentrate like this. My life is like I've got so
- 24:43Speaker 3: much time back.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I tell you what I actually think.
- 24:46Speaker 5: I desperately need it when I'm working, like actually working
- 24:49Speaker 5: at a computer.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, working at a computer is hard.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Right here, right now, ADHD it up, But like sitting
- 24:54Speaker 5: down and getting shit done, I need fucking because I.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Think everybody has a little bit of ADHD.
- 24:58Speaker 5: I have to.
- 24:59Speaker 3: It's just a label. And I definitely have seen people
- 25:02Speaker 3: with a bad scale of that. But I also think
- 25:04Speaker 3: a lot of creativity and a lot of beautiful things
- 25:07Speaker 3: have come from the presence of ADHD.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Is the worst thing to happen to ADHD? The person
- 25:14Speaker 5: that says, but it's beautiful, that's.
- 25:17Speaker 1: A good question, is it not.
- 25:19Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I reckon the worst thing? Oh no, I was going
- 25:21Speaker 3: to say, that's that's a bad take. Is like, I
- 25:23Speaker 3: feel like there is a big what's it called how
- 25:28Speaker 3: peptides are coming about?
- 25:30Speaker 1: A bubble?
- 25:30Speaker 3: No, maybe it's like everyone wants to go on peptides
- 25:33Speaker 3: at the moment.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Oh, it's a what's the worst trend? Yeah, trend.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I feel like there's also a trend of like, oh,
- 25:38Speaker 3: I've got ADHD. That happened, Yeah, I think and I
- 25:41Speaker 3: feel like that was the worst thing that happened for
- 25:42Speaker 3: ADHD for the people who actually.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Have it, true, people that have like debilitating yeah, debility, Yeah, yeah, trend?
- 25:49Speaker 1: How did you for get the word trend?
- 25:50Speaker 3: That wasn't the word I was looking for. I was
- 25:52Speaker 3: looking for a big one didn't come to me.
- 25:55Speaker 9: Take accountability, like, don't make excuses even if it's something small,
- 26:00Speaker 9: Like all I want is you tell me, Hey, no,
- 26:07Speaker 9: I see where you're coming from. I get it, Like
- 26:10Speaker 9: I'll do better next time, or like now I know,
- 26:15Speaker 9: thanks for letting me know, Thanks for you know, just
- 26:20Speaker 9: expressing your feelings to me.
- 26:23Speaker 5: That's it.
- 26:24Speaker 1: That's good accountability.
- 26:26Speaker 8: You know.
- 26:26Speaker 5: What I actually have been working on a bit lately
- 26:29Speaker 5: is not trying to defend myself.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Right, So like taking accountability.
- 26:35Speaker 5: But like, have you ever been in a situation where
- 26:37Speaker 5: someone asks you to do something and then you're like,
- 26:40Speaker 5: like five minutes ago, you were like thinking about actually
- 26:43Speaker 5: doing that, right, Like you actually thought like you had
- 26:45Speaker 5: the intention of doing it, you just hadn't got to
- 26:47Speaker 5: it yet. I find the like at the emptiest string
- 26:53Speaker 5: of words is oh yeah, I was actually going to
- 26:56Speaker 5: do that, you know. Yeah, Like even if you had
- 27:00Speaker 5: the intention and someone has asked you to do something
- 27:02Speaker 5: like a pointless statement, it's the most pointless statement.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, just fucking take accountability.
- 27:06Speaker 5: And then next time, when you had the intention of
- 27:08Speaker 5: doing it, just do what is it like, and don't
- 27:10Speaker 5: sell someone you're gonna do it, Like, don't say I
- 27:11Speaker 5: was going to.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Buy you flowers?
- 27:12Speaker 3: Example, is that the example I was going to buy
- 27:15Speaker 3: like I was like the dishes are there, I was
- 27:16Speaker 3: about to do that anything like that could be one yeah,
- 27:20Speaker 3: or like I don't know, maybe say your girlfriend is
- 27:24Speaker 3: kind of like, we haven't been on many dates lately,
- 27:26Speaker 3: and then you're like, literally the other day, actually has
- 27:27Speaker 3: I was thinking about taking you on a day?
- 27:29Speaker 1: It's like that doesn't mean anything, that doesn't mean a thing.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Yeah, And it's also I guess valuing what the other
- 27:35Speaker 3: person is saying.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah, like if she feels or he feels.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Like we haven't been going on many days, but then
- 27:40Speaker 3: you go, I literally took you one on two weeks ago. Yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 3: I'm feeling like I haven't been on a dad Like,
- 27:45Speaker 3: you're right, Yeah, you're all right, you're right, and then change,
- 27:48Speaker 3: Oh it should be you're right. When should the next
- 27:50Speaker 3: date be? You want to go on a date with me?
- 27:52Speaker 1: Not when teller?
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, when you're dating you actually got to like skate.
- 27:58Speaker 1: That's a good point.
- 28:03Speaker 8: I could list many things, but I see I've got
- 28:06Speaker 8: a max duration time of five minutes, So I'm going
- 28:08Speaker 8: to be quick and simple and.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Just say they could at least stick to their word.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Oh I love that. Stick to your word. Stick to
- 28:18Speaker 1: your word.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Hey, I feel like a lot of people slash men
- 28:22Speaker 3: don't do that a and such a good skill and
- 28:25Speaker 3: trait to have as anyone.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's really good.
- 28:27Speaker 10: I like that they can start by actually liking women
- 28:31Speaker 10: because if they really like her, then it's done. Everything
- 28:35Speaker 10: will be okay, everything will be all right if they
- 28:37Speaker 10: actually love her.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Oh valid, bro, I feel like is a lot of
- 28:43Speaker 3: men who hate women?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, the pud yeah, a little bit of patriarch and
- 28:50Speaker 3: they only see women as objects or oh question, So
- 28:58Speaker 3: you know how the word so misogyny means men that
- 29:02Speaker 3: hate women?
- 29:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and then I've learned that missandry is when women
- 29:07Speaker 5: hate men. Okay, but like misogyny is a word because
- 29:13Speaker 5: men hate women for no reason? Yeah, how does like
- 29:17Speaker 5: it is miss andry really even like a word? Because
- 29:21Speaker 5: women hating men is a reaction to men hating them.
- 29:26Speaker 1: It's a good question. I don't know, I've never heard
- 29:28Speaker 1: of that before. Yeah, miss andry, yeah, out of no way.
- 29:32Speaker 3: It's a good question because it comes as a reaction,
- 29:35Speaker 3: not a result.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Like yeah, it comes as a reaction, not just like
- 29:38Speaker 1: out of nowhere. Yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And you also don't see like fuck it seems so
- 29:43Speaker 3: black and white in a sense of you don't see
- 29:46Speaker 3: thirty old women taking advantage of adding the nine any
- 29:49Speaker 3: old women with courses and praying on their emotional insecurities.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Why is that so true?
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Why is that so true?
- 29:57Speaker 3: It's such a male dominated field and like okay, okay, ready,
- 30:03Speaker 3: this is crazy.
- 30:05Speaker 5: The documentary The Manisphere, right, is like going and kind
- 30:11Speaker 5: of following these men that claim to be like in
- 30:15Speaker 5: the manisphere, and like the manisphere is a good thing,
- 30:18Speaker 5: and it's like that there's nothing out Like a woman
- 30:23Speaker 5: being as much of a woman as she could possibly
- 30:25Speaker 5: be is like the the best thing. I don't even know,
- 30:31Speaker 5: you know what I'm trying to say. How it's like
- 30:32Speaker 5: it would be a compliment to a man for someone
- 30:35Speaker 5: to be like, you're the most woman a man could be,
- 30:40Speaker 5: you know what I mean, Like you're the.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Most woman a man. Like that's a compliment.
- 30:43Speaker 5: And then like if someone was to say to a
- 30:46Speaker 5: woman like, god, you're you're you're like a man, like
- 30:48Speaker 5: that's that would be hurtful.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not trying. It's a weird thing.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I get what you're trying to say. It's weird too,
- 30:56Speaker 3: because men are like in that documentary, especially those women.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Two of them got caught out with their partners who
- 31:04Speaker 3: like the men are saying two when didn't they Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 3: two men got caught out. Sorry in a sense of
- 31:09Speaker 3: like they put this facade online to pray on young
- 31:12Speaker 3: vulnerable men. But then also they kind of did have
- 31:16Speaker 3: a woman who's being a beautiful woman by their side
- 31:20Speaker 3: behind closed doors. It was really interesting dynamic. And then
- 31:23Speaker 3: when they obviously got called out a little bit in
- 31:25Speaker 3: those ideologies like I don't even know what it is
- 31:28Speaker 3: when you have what's it called when you have he
- 31:31Speaker 3: can have sex with other people but she can't.
- 31:33Speaker 1: They called it one way monogamy.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Yeah, one way monogamy. Yeah, it's not a thing. And
- 31:37Speaker 3: then it comes up to the partner and she's just
- 31:39Speaker 3: like on TV, oh right, yeah sure. And then I
- 31:44Speaker 3: dare say the cameras go off there in bed and
- 31:47Speaker 3: he goes, oh, I just said that for the cameras
- 31:48Speaker 3: they can make more money.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Weirdest thing.
- 31:51Speaker 3: It's the weirdest thing ever. Control a lot of it
- 31:53Speaker 3: I've saw.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I've seen a lot of.
- 31:56Speaker 5: There as a lot of comments saying like that they
- 32:00Speaker 5: think the documentary was very surface level. I thought that
- 32:04Speaker 5: as well, and it is surface level. It was hard
- 32:08Speaker 5: to document that though. And but here's the thing as well,
- 32:10Speaker 5: as like, I think that it was surface level on
- 32:14Speaker 5: purpose because all of us, you know, everyone kind of
- 32:20Speaker 5: jen out for gen Z like they know that it exists,
- 32:24Speaker 5: and like louis through, I'm not, I don't.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't know if it is surface level. If it's not,
- 32:27Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 32:28Speaker 5: But I saw one person saying that, like, we actually
- 32:31Speaker 5: aren't really the target audience. The target audience is people
- 32:34Speaker 5: that actually haven't heard of.
- 32:35Speaker 1: This, So it's like education.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an educational I was thinking, as someone who
- 32:41Speaker 3: had a surface level of knowing what's going on, that
- 32:45Speaker 3: they could have gone a lot harder on them. The
- 32:47Speaker 3: only influence on I knew was HS Tiki Talkie, and
- 32:50Speaker 3: I felt like they didn't put him in their place enough.
- 32:52Speaker 1: But I don't think that's his goal.
- 32:54Speaker 5: I don't think he wants to Like, all he wants
- 32:56Speaker 5: to do is try and get into their world, talk to.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Them, and he's amazing at it.
- 33:00Speaker 5: He's amazing at talking and asking questions and then just
- 33:03Speaker 5: shutting the fuck up and letting them talk their way
- 33:06Speaker 5: into the deepest grave and realizing themselves that what they're
- 33:09Speaker 5: saying is insane and then try and dig themselves out
- 33:12Speaker 5: of it. It is the most insane thing to watch.
- 33:14Speaker 5: He goes to hit okay, so Hstoki hates Bonnie Blue right,
- 33:19Speaker 5: thinks she's disgusting, revolting, gross, blah blah blah, And so
- 33:23Speaker 5: Lewis Thru's like, oh, so you you you hate her?
- 33:27Speaker 5: Why do you interview her? And is like TikTok. He goes, oh, clout, mate, clout,
- 33:33Speaker 5: and he goes, okay, cool. He goes, well, he said,
- 33:36Speaker 5: I joined your telegram actually, and you you promote that
- 33:43Speaker 5: porn and only fans and all these things is revolting
- 33:46Speaker 5: and gross and and hs TikTok. He's like, yeah, yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 5: it's gross, mate, gross.
- 33:49Speaker 1: And he goes, well, then you have.
- 33:55Speaker 5: In there you are promoting only fans pages for them
- 33:59Speaker 5: to go and pay and watch, and hs tik Talk's
- 34:02Speaker 5: like yeah, yeah, Like I don't have to like it,
- 34:05Speaker 5: but I'll profit off it. And so then and then
- 34:09Speaker 5: lu three goes, you're not far off being Bonnie Blue then,
- 34:14Speaker 5: and he likes tiktoki saw red from that. He's like,
- 34:18Speaker 5: what are you talking about, mate, Don't say that.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Don't don't compare me to her. That's gross. Don't compare
- 34:22Speaker 1: me to her.
- 34:23Speaker 5: And he's like, what's the difference between her saying that
- 34:26Speaker 5: she's doing everything she's doing right now, whether it be
- 34:28Speaker 5: right or wrong, her decisions don't matter because her children
- 34:31Speaker 5: are going to have a good future and not two
- 34:34Speaker 5: seconds prior, fucking hs Tiktoki is saying that his kids
- 34:37Speaker 5: are going to be like very fulfilled and have a
- 34:38Speaker 5: very good future. And then HTKK just getting norm mad
- 34:41Speaker 5: like doesn't know what to say, and lu thre goes, you're.
- 34:45Speaker 1: What's the word you're rationalizing it like.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Just because like just because you say you don't like it,
- 34:54Speaker 5: like you're rationalizing doing the wrong thing. Even asks him,
- 34:57Speaker 5: he says, have you ever considered doing the right thing
- 35:00Speaker 5: being a good guy? And h tiki TALKI goes if
- 35:04Speaker 5: I was a good guy, I wouldn't be where I am.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Which is facts crazy and what men do rationalize their
- 35:11Speaker 3: scenarios with other toxic men. They get in this kind
- 35:15Speaker 3: of like wolf pack mentality with a bunch of irrational
- 35:18Speaker 3: men who have the same ideologies about women, wealth, views, politics,
- 35:24Speaker 3: everything like that, and then they all get in this
- 35:26Speaker 3: little bubble and they think that that bubble is right
- 35:28Speaker 3: and they don't really understand what's going on in life.
- 35:31Speaker 3: But then they put their opinions to the broader public
- 35:33Speaker 3: and they start to cause a movement, which is a problem.
- 35:36Speaker 5: And when lu Through first meets HS Tiki TALKI, he
- 35:40Speaker 5: goes in and h Tiki TALKI has I think maybe
- 35:43Speaker 5: a girlfriend at the time, and he introduces her to
- 35:47Speaker 5: lu Through as the dishwasher, right, and she's laughing.
- 35:51Speaker 1: And she's like yeah, and lu Through is like what
- 35:53Speaker 1: the fuck?
- 35:54Speaker 5: But he shakes it and he says, I'm nice to
- 35:55Speaker 5: meet you, like I think maybe I've seen you on
- 35:57Speaker 5: TikTok and stuff like that. And then he straight away like, oh,
- 36:00Speaker 5: so what do you like about his name's Harrison. She
- 36:02Speaker 5: says what do you like about Harrison? And she goes,
- 36:05Speaker 5: here's money. Yeah, and like you could see in the
- 36:10Speaker 5: kind of laughs it off like oh yeah, mate, he
- 36:14Speaker 5: was hope by yeah, he was like, actually hope like
- 36:16Speaker 5: that affected him. He would obviously say to anyone that
- 36:18Speaker 5: it doesn't, but like that actually affected him to and
- 36:22Speaker 5: like imagine, literally the only thing you have going for
- 36:24Speaker 5: you is your money because everything else about you sucks.
- 36:28Speaker 3: I don't know if we said in this episode or
- 36:29Speaker 3: the last episode. But no one cares. Yeah, no one
- 36:32Speaker 3: cares how much money you have. No one cares how
- 36:34Speaker 3: nice a car is, like how you are as a person.
- 36:37Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, by all means, if you have a lot
- 36:40Speaker 5: of money and you want people to know, you can
- 36:41Speaker 5: post that shit. You can post the car, you can
- 36:44Speaker 5: post the money, you can post the lifestyle. But if
- 36:46Speaker 5: you're also posting promoting being a shit human, that's fucked up.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Like be a good.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Person number one, that should come first.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we have one more.
- 36:55Speaker 10: There's so many things that man could be doing, but
- 36:58Speaker 10: one of them is pressing me off to day stop
- 37:01Speaker 10: sexting me.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Free mesters in to us mutching on a dating app.
- 37:05Speaker 8: I was on a.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Fucking day flat with me a person, dude.
- 37:10Speaker 5: Valid, Okay, Sexting is something that happens way more than
- 37:16Speaker 5: we think. Yeah, obviously it needs to be all consensual
- 37:20Speaker 5: or whatever, But like I have never done unbeknownst, I
- 37:23Speaker 5: was unbeknownst, especially prior to this podcast, how normalized it was,
- 37:28Speaker 5: which is crazy.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:31Speaker 3: It's just not a good idea. Once again, showcase your personality,
- 37:37Speaker 3: have a really good time. It's not about the sex.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Sex is an added perk of getting to know someone
- 37:42Speaker 3: and connecting on another level.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Do you think you could confidently.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Like, let's say, I couldn't do it to my girlfriend
- 37:49Speaker 3: of three years right now, to send a dick pic.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I was gonna say, no, that's what I'm saying. I'm
- 37:52Speaker 1: not talking about that. I'm not talking about senate news.
- 37:54Speaker 5: I'm talking about sending her like you know, all I've
- 37:57Speaker 5: been doing is thinking, like starting off like they've been, Like,
- 38:00Speaker 5: all I've done is think about you all day and
- 38:01Speaker 5: like I'm not gonna lie, like I'm pretty hard right now.
- 38:03Speaker 5: I think then really like get the build up that
- 38:06Speaker 5: you sext a bit before you see her, then you
- 38:08Speaker 5: see her and like give her a kiss, and then
- 38:10Speaker 5: like you really build up the four play for the
- 38:11Speaker 5: whole day, Like I've never done that.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I have never done that either. I think the way
- 38:16Speaker 3: I would do it, I could do it in a
- 38:19Speaker 3: very PG manner. Yeah, I couldn't do it in like
- 38:22Speaker 3: dirty like what I'm going to do to you tonight
- 38:24Speaker 3: or like.
- 38:24Speaker 1: This would be this would be audio.
- 38:25Speaker 5: He'd be like, not gonna lie later, I'm gonna fucking
- 38:29Speaker 5: nibble on your lips No, I would ever say that.
- 38:37Speaker 5: The clip of you saying that you're like, I've been
- 38:38Speaker 5: inviting you on the lips, and then so many of
- 38:42Speaker 5: the comments were like my sweet sweet boy, my dear
- 38:46Speaker 5: sweet child.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I would go down the avenues of like I've been
- 38:51Speaker 3: thinking about her, how beautiful she is, how much I
- 38:54Speaker 3: want to see her, how much I want to kiss her.
- 38:57Speaker 1: That's boring, that's boring. Yeah, but that's I want to
- 39:00Speaker 1: kiss you all over. True. I would say that. I
- 39:02Speaker 1: would say that, Yeah, everyone, what would you do?
- 39:05Speaker 2: Oh?
- 39:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't. You wouldn't do it at all.
- 39:07Speaker 3: But if I couldn't, col I could try. You could
- 39:11Speaker 3: surely you would say, oh, like I'm keen to see like.
- 39:13Speaker 5: True, it would have to start off slow because I
- 39:14Speaker 5: wouldn't be able to confidently go on and be like
- 39:16Speaker 5: I want to bend you over and again.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I couldn't.
- 39:18Speaker 3: And also, someone that you've never seen before, and you're
- 39:21Speaker 3: saying that too, is crazy.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Have some of rapport?
- 39:23Speaker 3: Brother, Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Respect Like two messages in on a dating app.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I suppose they're showing their intentions early, which is crazy. Well,
- 39:33Speaker 3: and I guess, as two men, what do we do
- 39:38Speaker 3: in life to portray a healthy masculinity.
- 39:42Speaker 5: That's a great question because one of the big things
- 39:44Speaker 5: I saw about this ministry documentary is like he focused
- 39:47Speaker 5: that people were saying he leu through focused a lot
- 39:50Speaker 5: on the bad men, but like and he said in
- 39:57Speaker 5: the thing, like, you know, young men need better role models,
- 40:01Speaker 5: and then a lot of people are saying, like.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Well, Louis, where are they? So it's a good question.
- 40:06Speaker 5: It's like, I don't know, Robert Irwin, if you're a
- 40:11Speaker 5: young man, everyone share this with your young friends.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're a man in general, Robert looks like
- 40:18Speaker 1: a good.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Man, lead by example, and yeah, I get be more vocal.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe be more vocal.
- 40:25Speaker 3: We're not very good at portraying our views and emotions
- 40:30Speaker 3: when they are showing healthy masculinity, we kind of just
- 40:32Speaker 3: keep quiet being more vocal and showcase that a man
- 40:36Speaker 3: can have masculine and feminine traits and still be a man.
- 40:39Speaker 3: You don't have to be toxic and ruling to be
- 40:41Speaker 3: a man. And I think it's just betraying yourself and
- 40:45Speaker 3: being I don't know, I think a lot of like
- 40:48Speaker 3: because the worst copout is saying there's a lot of
- 40:51Speaker 3: there are a lot of healthy men out there, but
- 40:53Speaker 3: those men go under the radar.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Quite a lot.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I think now we obviously we've said lots. So
- 41:02Speaker 5: our audience is ninety percent women. Yeah, maybe ninety five
- 41:06Speaker 5: percent women. So ninety five percent of the people listening
- 41:09Speaker 5: to this are women, and not that this is a
- 41:12Speaker 5: women's issue, like this is a men's issue that needs
- 41:14Speaker 5: to be fixed. But I guess like with our platform,
- 41:18Speaker 5: the only thing we could say is if you're a
- 41:19Speaker 5: man or a woman listening, like.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Just being more vocal would be good.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Maybe to younger people you know or friends of yours,
- 41:34Speaker 5: you could recommend just like call them out and recommend
- 41:38Speaker 5: someone else to watch.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I think standing by what you know is right.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Don't let the sly misogyny go.
- 41:48Speaker 1: That's what happens micro misogyny.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Say hey dude, that's wrong. Yeah, hey dude, that's not on.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Explain to him how I said, person who's getting cat
- 41:59Speaker 3: call might feel makes him feel unsafe. Ah, all these
- 42:03Speaker 3: things that add up over time. Yeah, don't let the
- 42:07Speaker 3: micro aggressions kind of add up.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say that, I would say, and let
- 42:13Speaker 1: us know more.
- 42:14Speaker 5: Yeah, like were coming missing the market, but like no,
- 42:19Speaker 5: I would say, something I'm guilty of.
- 42:23Speaker 1: In the past is.
- 42:26Speaker 5: Staying friends with a friend group that I don't know,
- 42:33Speaker 5: Like our whole friend group when we were younger was
- 42:37Speaker 5: honestly probably just like pretty gross and like fucking just
- 42:43Speaker 5: like had shitty views. And it's like if you are
- 42:47Speaker 5: in a friend group like that, it's just like, if
- 42:51Speaker 5: I could go back, I would say, there's like multiple,
- 42:54Speaker 5: multiple times where it's like there would have been chances
- 42:56Speaker 5: where anyone could have been like no, no, that's that's
- 42:58Speaker 5: not right, but everyone's too scared to do it. And
- 43:01Speaker 5: like that's the thing is, like what are you scared
- 43:03Speaker 5: of it? You're scared of losing your friends, and it's
- 43:04Speaker 5: like why do you want to be friends with them anyway?
- 43:07Speaker 1: You know?
- 43:09Speaker 5: But it's hard to like talk about a problem when
- 43:12Speaker 5: you don't know the answer to the problem. But I
- 43:14Speaker 5: think it's also when the answer is easy. That's the
- 43:17Speaker 5: hard thing. Is like it's hard to talk about a
- 43:19Speaker 5: problem when the answer is easy. But also not if
- 43:21Speaker 5: that makes any sense because the answer is easy, don't
- 43:23Speaker 5: be a fucking dick.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Exactly, But it's also good to talk about it. Yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 1: needs to be spoken about.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Yea.
- 43:29Speaker 3: It needs to be spoken about and coming from a
- 43:31Speaker 3: place of learning and acknowledging that there's an issue and
- 43:34Speaker 3: we want to we want to help change that.
- 43:37Speaker 1: How can we change that?
- 43:39Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's kind of I guess like one way,
- 43:42Speaker 5: one thing in the right direction is better role models.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I would say that's definitely one answer. No, I agree.
- 43:46Speaker 3: All right, Bad, This was a little bit of a
- 43:48Speaker 3: different episode.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Hope you enjoyed it. Yeah, we love you, stay bad
- 44:00Speaker 10: And
