Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This we pass flown off.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Seattle.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Welcome to Seattle crackin Hockey on the Global Credit Union
- 0:07Speaker 3: Kraken Audio Network. Brought to you by Coor's Life, Your
- 0:11Speaker 3: Western Washington, Toyota Dealers, Virginia Mason, Franciscan Health, Muckleshoot Casino Resort,
- 0:17Speaker 3: and by Luna and Simetra.
- 0:20Speaker 4: The Kraken kicked off a six game homestand on Monday afternoon,
- 0:24Speaker 4: but unfortunately fell victim to another slow start. Seattle overcame
- 0:29Speaker 4: a two to nothing deficit midway through the second and
- 0:32Speaker 4: entered the third down a goal three too, the Penguins
- 0:35Speaker 4: rattle off three in the third, pulling away for a
- 0:38Speaker 4: six to three victory. Tonight, Seattle welcomes into New York
- 0:41Speaker 4: Islanders looking to get back into a playoff position against
- 0:45Speaker 4: a team who's got points in seven of their last ten. However,
- 0:49Speaker 4: just one win in their last five against the Seattle Cracket.
- 0:53Speaker 5: Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Inside of Climate Plagerina here in downtown Seattle alongside Alkoniski.
- 0:58Speaker 5: I am ever it fits you, Hey.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Seattle Kracking Hockey on the Global Credit Union Cracking Audio Network.
- 1:04Speaker 4: You are listening to the pregame show served up by
- 1:06Speaker 4: Frost Brew Course Light choose chill Al.
- 1:09Speaker 5: For the sixth time in the last seven.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Games, the Kraken has given up the game's first goal,
- 1:14Speaker 4: and for the fifth consecutive contest, Seattle was down either
- 1:18Speaker 4: to nothing or to to one at some point in
- 1:21Speaker 4: the contest lane. Lambert talked about it this morning. This
- 1:24Speaker 4: team has been chasing games here as of late, and
- 1:27Speaker 4: the Kraken let another one slip by the wayside Monday.
- 1:30Speaker 6: Yeah, chasing games is what happens when you have bad
- 1:32Speaker 6: starts and everything you just outlined there is part of
- 1:34Speaker 6: the definition of a bad start and a thing we've
- 1:36Speaker 6: talked about a lot in the last week when you've
- 1:38Speaker 6: seen a lot of these.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Bad starts happening, is what is a good start?
- 1:42Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, a good start is physicality, A good start
- 1:45Speaker 6: is shots on goal.
- 1:45Speaker 5: A good start is you know, drying a penalty, maybe
- 1:48Speaker 5: scoring a goal.
- 1:49Speaker 6: And there hasn't been enough of that over the last
- 1:51Speaker 6: week ten days for the Cracking to get a better
- 1:54Speaker 6: start in the first period.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Cracking one four and two in their last seven games
- 1:59Speaker 4: after ten game points streak, so they've been reeling a
- 2:03Speaker 4: little bit in the last couple of weeks, Seattle was
- 2:05Speaker 4: also allowed.
- 2:05Speaker 2: A shorthanded goal in three straight games.
- 2:07Speaker 4: And I say all that to say it really feels
- 2:10Speaker 4: like there's a lot of little things that have been
- 2:12Speaker 4: mounting up into a larger issue for Seattle. Yeah, and
- 2:15Speaker 4: a shorthanded goals that's just the cherry on top of
- 2:18Speaker 4: bad starts.
- 2:18Speaker 5: It just adds to that.
- 2:19Speaker 6: You could also talk about goaltending hasn't been as elite,
- 2:23Speaker 6: and it has been in the past. Joey to Korb
- 2:25Speaker 6: with one of his worst starts of the season eight
- 2:27Speaker 6: three to nine, is how he ended that game against Pittsbrook.
- 2:30Speaker 6: He's usually well into the nine hundreds, you know, Groubi's
- 2:33Speaker 6: been in the nine hundred.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Sea. When this goldeny duo is not playing elite hockey,
- 2:38Speaker 5: things go badly, really quickly for the Cracker.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Kraken Switching up their lines a little bit here today,
- 2:44Speaker 4: Jared mccannon moved back to the top line with Maddy
- 2:46Speaker 4: Beneers and Jordan Eberley broke the cat and getting some
- 2:49Speaker 4: second line time Tonight with Chander Stevenson along with Ellie Tolinen.
- 2:53Speaker 4: We'll see schwartz Wright and Compocago Winterton Myers and Goodrow rounding.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Out your forward.
- 3:00Speaker 4: So Lane Lambert trying to find some way to get
- 3:03Speaker 4: this offense going in Well, you.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Know when you ticker with the Lions like that, you think, well,
- 3:06Speaker 6: why not leave it together for a few games. Lane
- 3:08Speaker 6: Lambert has not had this full roster healthy all season long,
- 3:12Speaker 6: and so it's almost like, you know, the first few
- 3:14Speaker 6: games of the season where you have the whole roster
- 3:17Speaker 6: healthy and you're able to do some tinkering to figure
- 3:19Speaker 6: out which pairs work together, what lines work together then
- 3:22Speaker 6: and he's trying to do that right now when he's
- 3:24Speaker 6: got this roster healthy. So I'm not surprised at the moves.
- 3:27Speaker 6: I like Shorts on the fourth line last game, but
- 3:30Speaker 6: certainly Winterton, Myers and Goodreau on that fourth line can
- 3:33Speaker 6: get it get it done, just the same as Swartz could.
- 3:35Speaker 2: On the other side of the red line.
- 3:36Speaker 4: This is an Islanders team that when they're down, they're
- 3:40Speaker 4: not necessarily out. They have got thirteen come from behind
- 3:45Speaker 4: wins this season, and twenty of their twenty seven wins
- 3:48Speaker 4: this year have come when they've scored the game's first goal.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Yeah, Bill Harvat's out of the lineup, he has the
- 3:52Speaker 6: lot to this team. But Matthew Schaeffer he averages twenty
- 3:55Speaker 6: four minutes of time on ice as a team leading
- 3:57Speaker 6: one hundred and twenty four shots on goal, tied for
- 4:00Speaker 6: first with Bohr Horvat with six power play goals. So
- 4:04Speaker 6: he can have a big impact on the game. And
- 4:06Speaker 6: you know he's gonna play a lot of time on
- 4:08Speaker 6: the ice. He's one of those guys where if you're
- 4:10Speaker 6: not aware of him when he's on the ice, is
- 4:12Speaker 6: gonna burn you.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Bear in the lead there.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Matthew Schaefer coming in today at a will bust eighteen
- 4:18Speaker 4: years at one hundred and three days old, so he
- 4:20Speaker 4: is a young cat on the ice for the New
- 4:23Speaker 4: York Islanders. We go down to Mike Benton on the

- 7:46Speaker 12: course Light landing in section twenty here for game two
- 7:49Speaker 12: of this six game homestand the Kraken coming in right
- 7:51Speaker 12: now at twenty one eighteen and nine point total, right
- 7:55Speaker 12: now at fifty one end as up tonight right now
- 7:59Speaker 12: on the outside looking in here for the playoff picture,
- 8:01Speaker 12: they stand two points out of the cut line and
- 8:04Speaker 12: they're winless in their last four games, trying to break
- 8:06Speaker 12: out of that against the Islanders. Right now with twenty
- 8:09Speaker 12: seven seventeen and five point total ALF fifty nine, they
- 8:12Speaker 12: are second in the Metro Division and the Islanders ending
- 8:16Speaker 12: a long seven game road trip where they are three
- 8:19Speaker 12: to two and one. As a Cracking right now searching
- 8:22Speaker 12: for their fourth win in five games in Seattle lifetime
- 8:26Speaker 12: against the Islanders, a.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Lot to get to here.
- 8:29Speaker 12: In pregame coverage, we will go one on one with
- 8:31Speaker 12: Cracking Ford Ryan Winterton. Also checking with Brendan Burgers of
- 8:35Speaker 12: the National Call for the seating for the NHL on TNT.
- 8:37Speaker 12: He'll talk more about Matthew Schaeffer already turning plenty of
- 8:40Speaker 12: aheads in his rookie season. Plus also Everet Fitzhu's got
- 8:44Speaker 12: head coach Lane Lambert here for the Krack in one
- 8:46Speaker 12: on one coming up here for this one. Well, the
- 8:49Speaker 12: situation at hand is getting a bit deeper as far
- 8:52Speaker 12: as the hill to climb right now for the Crack.
- 8:54Speaker 12: At this point of the month, they're one, four and
- 8:56Speaker 12: one last six games, and the defense has taken a
- 8:59Speaker 12: bit of a slide as a result, where in that
- 9:01Speaker 12: stretch they have allowed the six most goals in the
- 9:03Speaker 12: NHL shot at ten percentage as far as four versus
- 9:07Speaker 12: against right now it is the third lowest in the
- 9:09Speaker 12: league for that span at forty four percent, and then
- 9:12Speaker 12: you would count for shorthanded goals, the Kraken giving up
- 9:15Speaker 12: one each now for three consecutive games that tied into
- 9:18Speaker 12: a team save percentage, which is fifth lowest for goaltending
- 9:21Speaker 12: in the NHL in this last six game span. So
- 9:24Speaker 12: the Kraken essentially trying to make a sharp you turn
- 9:27Speaker 12: here for tonight and get backboard to fundamentals as far
- 9:30Speaker 12: as structure, as far as defense, and as far as goaltending,
- 9:33Speaker 12: which has certainly served them well when they have been
- 9:36Speaker 12: at their best. Last time out Monday against Pittsburgh, the
- 9:40Speaker 12: Kraken well chasing once again, but proving they're out of
- 9:44Speaker 12: maybe not out of it, certainly once again.
- 9:47Speaker 5: That looks for an option.
- 9:48Speaker 4: It's Evan's ear side on the back daor turn aside
- 9:51Speaker 4: the rebound.
- 10:00Speaker 13: Brigley Catton started to play Ryan Lindgren in the corner
- 10:06Speaker 13: and this put off the boards.
- 10:07Speaker 5: The Seattle Cracket.
- 10:11Speaker 13: Tie the game at two on the goal from Ryan
- 10:14Speaker 13: lingret Well.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I took to about puck battles along the wall. It's
- 10:17Speaker 5: exactly that puck bottle.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Puck battles won register took the blue line, the puck
- 10:22Speaker 6: gos to the fern that Ryan Winterton gets the rebound
- 10:25Speaker 6: fives liguand in front.
- 10:26Speaker 12: This game's tied to two, and there was a familiar
- 10:29Speaker 12: theme on those couple first goals. The Krakens scored the
- 10:32Speaker 12: Ben Meyers line a part of it as a rolleted
- 10:34Speaker 12: out of a two to nothing hole, but eventually the
- 10:37Speaker 12: Krack and falling six to three to the Pittsburgh Penguins,
- 10:40Speaker 12: as in the second period after the Ben Myers line
- 10:42Speaker 12: chipped in, Pittsburgh got one right back quickly and then
- 10:45Speaker 12: pulled away. In period three, an early goal by Justin
- 10:48Speaker 12: Brazo answered by Ellie Tolben to make it four to
- 10:51Speaker 12: three Penguins at that point, but the Penguins, in getting
- 10:54Speaker 12: two goals in the final three to twelve of the
- 10:56Speaker 12: game too much to overcome, as Connor Durer scored twice
- 11:00Speaker 12: in that game for Pittsburgh, while Joey to court, allowing
- 11:03Speaker 12: five goals on thirty one shots. He's also been going
- 11:05Speaker 12: through a tough recent stretch here last six games, say
- 11:08Speaker 12: percentage right now hanging out at eight, eight to four,
- 11:10Speaker 12: So decor trying to rebound next time out, as it'll
- 11:14Speaker 12: be a different goaltender and out here for tonight, and
- 11:17Speaker 12: we'll talk to you more about that. But he is
- 11:18Speaker 12: certainly turning plenty ofheads with some of the best numbers
- 11:21Speaker 12: in the NHL here for this entire season. But back
- 11:24Speaker 12: to this evening here, Lane Lambert said he was looking
- 11:27Speaker 12: for more out of his group after Monday, aside from
- 11:30Speaker 12: the Ben Meyers line. Jayden Schwartz followed up this morning
- 11:33Speaker 12: with how much this game means here for this team?
- 11:36Speaker 14: Yeah, I mean it's a big game, you know, to
- 11:39Speaker 14: get off on the right foot in this home stand,
- 11:41Speaker 14: so good chance to bounce back tonight. Last time I
- 11:44Speaker 14: played him, it was tight checking, like I think it
- 11:46Speaker 14: was one nothing Maybe I can't rememberybody. It was always
- 11:50Speaker 14: hard games against these guys. They defend hard, you got
- 11:51Speaker 14: to earn, you got to earn your chances. They got
- 11:53Speaker 14: a good goalie, so they always fun games against these guys.
- 11:57Speaker 12: Indeed, it was a one nothing finals the last time
- 12:00Speaker 12: these two teams met, as the Islanders won in a
- 12:03Speaker 12: shootout back on November twenty third, and Schwartz said, the
- 12:06Speaker 12: turn back in the right direction begins at the opening
- 12:09Speaker 12: face off this evening.
- 12:10Speaker 14: Yeah, we gotta have better starts, for sure. There's a
- 12:12Speaker 14: couple of areas we need to be better, and but
- 12:15Speaker 14: especially at home, we want to come out and establish
- 12:16Speaker 14: our game and uh, you know, be hard on the
- 12:19Speaker 14: fore chick, you know, playing there in as much as
- 12:22Speaker 14: we can, and just little details that uh, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 14: we can be better at.
- 12:26Speaker 12: And to that point, you'll notice when the Crack can
- 12:28Speaker 12: start buzzing in the offensive zone at leads to production
- 12:32Speaker 12: game bying game. Of course, a plan may change for
- 12:34Speaker 12: a bit, but Schwartz said, there's a common thread and
- 12:37Speaker 12: now the Crack can use their structure.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Every game is a little bit different.
- 12:41Speaker 14: You know, maybe we could be tighter to the neutral zone,
- 12:44Speaker 14: maybe on our toes a little bit more better place
- 12:47Speaker 14: with the puck, support each other better. But I think
- 12:51Speaker 14: our games just to Nations on the fore check and
- 12:54Speaker 14: hounding pucks and creating turnovers and you know, playing in
- 12:58Speaker 14: their end. And then you know backchecking herd and there
- 13:00Speaker 14: do youving tight gaps thinking hard of them to get
- 13:02Speaker 14: to the inerger's owner and.
- 13:04Speaker 12: The cracking will go after that tenacious approach with essentially
- 13:07Speaker 12: the same group out there for it's end defenseman.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Just like last game.
- 13:10Speaker 12: Nothing new as far as far as body's in or
- 13:13Speaker 12: bodies out of the lineup, but Lane Lafford shuffling duck
- 13:15Speaker 12: here it appears in lines or pairings here for this one.
- 13:18Speaker 12: He can maybe expect Maddy Benier's based on morning skates
- 13:21Speaker 12: to be in between Jared McCann and Jordan Ebery. Meanwhile,
- 13:24Speaker 12: Berkeley Canton will get a spin looks like to beg
- 13:27Speaker 12: in this game with Chandler Stevenson and Ellie Tolvenan. Jayden
- 13:30Speaker 12: Schwart's gonna move up here to Shane Right's line with Coppocaco,
- 13:33Speaker 12: and it looks like Ryan Winterton is gonna be right
- 13:35Speaker 12: back with Ben Myers and Freddie Gaudreaux to round out
- 13:39Speaker 12: the four lines here. Defensively, you can maybe look at
- 13:43Speaker 12: a bit of a shuffle here for the bottom four
- 13:45Speaker 12: Jamie Alexiak with Brandon Montour and Ryan Lindgren with Riiker
- 13:49Speaker 12: Evans as well Our cracking story lines. First up, begin
- 13:52Speaker 12: here with the same thing we talked about last game
- 13:55Speaker 12: and before the first period, push the crack and wins
- 13:58Speaker 12: scoring first this season sixteen six and four, and they
- 14:02Speaker 12: are five twelve and six opposite of that when the
- 14:05Speaker 12: opposition scores first.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So a big point of emphasis here.
- 14:08Speaker 12: Can the Kraken get out and running very quickly because
- 14:10Speaker 12: they've given up the first goal of the game six
- 14:12Speaker 12: of the last seven games, plus also twice they have
- 14:15Speaker 12: a lot of shorthanded goal in the first period in
- 14:18Speaker 12: that stretch. The Islanders opposite of that nineteen four and
- 14:22Speaker 12: three when they score first, plus they are twelve three
- 14:25Speaker 12: and one when leading after one, so you can bet
- 14:27Speaker 12: the first period maybe could play a massive impact here
- 14:30Speaker 12: for this one. Secondly, it is the Matty Baniers line,
- 14:33Speaker 12: as we said, potentially a lot of offense loading up
- 14:36Speaker 12: front here with Jordan Neberley on the right wing. He
- 14:39Speaker 12: leads the Kraken with seventeen goals, but trying to get
- 14:42Speaker 12: back on track after getting just one goal here in
- 14:44Speaker 12: the last four games. Could facing his ex Islander team
- 14:48Speaker 12: be in elixer here for this one. Meanwhile, Beniers is
- 14:51Speaker 12: scoreless in three of the last four games, and also
- 14:53Speaker 12: Jared McCann after getting points in nine of ten games.
- 14:56Speaker 12: He is right now scoreless and back to back, but
- 14:58Speaker 12: right now also leads a Crack in all time against
- 15:01Speaker 12: the Islanders with sixteen points in twenty five lifetime games.
- 15:05Speaker 12: So we'll see if that trio can also make their
- 15:07Speaker 12: mark in this game. Our third story line, Philip grew Bauer,
- 15:11Speaker 12: He's gonna be backing out here looks like here for
- 15:12Speaker 12: this one all time against the Islanders seven four and
- 15:16Speaker 12: three nine two twos say percentage in a games, and
- 15:20Speaker 12: he's looking to snap back to back losses either in
- 15:23Speaker 12: ot or regulation. Last time out he had twenty five
- 15:26Speaker 12: saves on thirty shots in a loss at Utah four
- 15:29Speaker 12: days ago. But previously his heater putting down these numbers
- 15:34Speaker 12: nine three fours say percentage in ten games and the
- 15:38Speaker 12: Crack and looking for more of that kind of Philip
- 15:40Speaker 12: Growbauer here for tonight, let's hear more on the Krack inside.
- 15:43Speaker 12: Ryan Winterton has certainly immersed here is a key part
- 15:46Speaker 12: of the Ben Meyers line because this brand energy, pace
- 15:50Speaker 12: and quickness has made a difference when we cut up
- 15:52Speaker 12: with Winnington after morning skate Here for today beginning with
- 15:55Speaker 12: how much energy and urgency are a part of the
- 15:59Speaker 12: Kraken conversation for this game.
- 16:01Speaker 15: Yeah, I think that's big.
- 16:02Speaker 16: I think, you know, that's a big character of our
- 16:05Speaker 16: team is just work ethic and you know, never giving up.
- 16:07Speaker 15: And you know, I think we've done a good job.
- 16:10Speaker 16: You know, we've kind of found ourselves on this spot
- 16:12Speaker 16: a couple of times this season where you know, we're
- 16:13Speaker 16: in a slump or whatever, but.
- 16:16Speaker 15: You know, we just got to get back to what
- 16:17Speaker 15: we're doing on the start.
- 16:18Speaker 16: And maybe a couple of weeks ago, just playing hard,
- 16:20Speaker 16: playing our system, playing fast, and just holding guys accountable.
- 16:25Speaker 16: You know, everyone needs to do a job tonight, and
- 16:27Speaker 16: especially to get out of this so, you know, I
- 16:30Speaker 16: think everyone will be.
- 16:31Speaker 15: Ready to go.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I think the pace is a part of that clue.
- 16:33Speaker 12: But as far as anything else for period one, what
- 16:35Speaker 12: changes for you?
- 16:36Speaker 2: I think compared to the recent few games.
- 16:38Speaker 15: You know, our first period obviously needs to be a
- 16:40Speaker 15: little bit better.
- 16:41Speaker 16: You know, I don't know how many goals giving up
- 16:42Speaker 16: in the first in the last couple of games, but
- 16:45Speaker 16: you know, obviously that's been you know, kind of a
- 16:46Speaker 16: key for us to start it on time, and you know,
- 16:49Speaker 16: it's hard to it's hard to chase the game, especially
- 16:51Speaker 16: when you give up two on the first or something.
- 16:53Speaker 15: You know, I thought we did a good.
- 16:54Speaker 16: Job last game coming back from a couple of goals,
- 16:56Speaker 16: but then you know, we kind of shot ourself on
- 16:58Speaker 16: the foot and you know, could at a tude if
- 17:00Speaker 16: you know, didn't give up the goals in the first
- 17:02Speaker 16: and you know, it's me change the game.
- 17:05Speaker 12: Part of a dynamic of this team is adapting on
- 17:07Speaker 12: the fly in which we used to plan different linemates
- 17:10Speaker 12: may come your way from time to time here, but
- 17:11Speaker 12: recently in the last month, a lot of time playing
- 17:14Speaker 12: with Ben Myers, and even though he's not here right now, Melly.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Is well on top of that.
- 17:17Speaker 12: But how has Ben Myers made you a better teammate
- 17:21Speaker 12: and line made as well?
- 17:22Speaker 16: Yeah, like I kind of said a couple of weeks ago,
- 17:24Speaker 16: you know, playing with Gully's dad and Melly, you know
- 17:26Speaker 16: they kind of bringing in the fight with them.
- 17:28Speaker 15: Gay engaged early.
- 17:30Speaker 16: You know, miss a great player like's holding the puck
- 17:33Speaker 16: to the middle, and you know it gives us some
- 17:34Speaker 16: more time on the way. So you know, I've really
- 17:37Speaker 16: enjoyed playing with him, and you know, I think we've
- 17:38Speaker 16: done pretty well and you know, obviously just got to
- 17:41Speaker 16: keep that going for you know, the remainder of the
- 17:43Speaker 16: season and you know, especially tonight.
- 17:45Speaker 12: Getting into Game fifty. This team is still in the
- 17:47Speaker 12: middle of the playoff mix right now. But we've seen
- 17:49Speaker 12: some players take big steps here in their game, and
- 17:51Speaker 12: what ways have you seen your your your game also
- 17:54Speaker 12: take steps from day one here?
- 17:55Speaker 16: Yeah, I think just getting more comfortable with the speed,
- 17:58Speaker 16: with the strag the guy, you know, everything. I think
- 18:00Speaker 16: it's all a make sure and obviously confidence comes with that.
- 18:03Speaker 16: And you know, I would say recently, you know, I've
- 18:06Speaker 16: been feeling better and better, but my game and you know,
- 18:09Speaker 16: plan how I want to play fast hard, let's getting
- 18:12Speaker 16: on parks and turn them over and then you know
- 18:14Speaker 16: obviously trying to you know, set up live Maker score
- 18:17Speaker 16: when when available.
- 18:18Speaker 12: What's the key to handling seventeen games in this kind
- 18:20Speaker 12: of month.
- 18:21Speaker 16: Yeah, I don't know if there's it's it's aboutly tough,
- 18:23Speaker 16: no matter, but I would say recovery and rest.
- 18:26Speaker 15: It's been huge. But I think we've done a good
- 18:28Speaker 15: job of that.
- 18:29Speaker 16: You know, all the guys taking care of themselves and
- 18:31Speaker 16: you know, we've had a couple of days off. It
- 18:33Speaker 16: gets tough with the schedule to get too many days off,
- 18:35Speaker 16: but uh yeah, not practicing. We just gotta be ready
- 18:38Speaker 16: for gotta be dealed in our systems, and you know,
- 18:41Speaker 16: I think we should be tonight.
- 18:43Speaker 2: That's the formula.
- 18:44Speaker 12: Lather, rinse, repeat, play a game, rest and do it
- 18:46Speaker 12: all over again. That's Ryan Winterton joining us one on
- 18:49Speaker 12: one back in the bet.

- 21:44Speaker 12: Your pregame show is served up by frostbrewed cors light chews, chill,
- 21:48Speaker 12: and time now for a look at the Islanders where
- 21:50Speaker 12: it's the first time that Seattle sees this guy here
- 21:53Speaker 12: for the pretty bright future.
- 21:55Speaker 17: A show take off our hit the mind.
- 21:57Speaker 20: Like p I.
- 21:58Speaker 22: Let's see what happens here with that game right in
- 22:01Speaker 22: and cross checked on pleasure.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Schaeffer from the Points Scars.
- 22:08Speaker 23: Matthew Shaeffer gets the Islanders right there within striking distance
- 22:12Speaker 23: and seeing eye shot found its way through. It's goal
- 22:16Speaker 23: number thirteen for Shaeffer and it's a five to four game.
- 22:19Speaker 2: It's not over yet.
- 22:21Speaker 12: Alan Fearing had the call Islanders Radio Sight on eighty
- 22:24Speaker 12: eight seven FMWRHU. And the guy we're talking about is
- 22:29Speaker 12: Matthew Shaeffer, potentially a big part of the next generation
- 22:32Speaker 12: of NHL superstars and maybe in the same tier as
- 22:35Speaker 12: well with those like MacMan, Celebrini, Connor Bdard and more.
- 22:38Speaker 12: Because after he was picked last year number one overall
- 22:41Speaker 12: in last year's NHL Entry Draft, he has been living
- 22:44Speaker 12: up to the building as generational stuff. Youngest d man
- 22:48Speaker 12: in NHL history to hit double digit goals, passing Phil
- 22:51Speaker 12: Housley back in nineteen eighty three. He is emerging as
- 22:55Speaker 12: a favorite to win the Calder Trophy and it certainly
- 22:57Speaker 12: has transformed the Islanders from a defense only squad now
- 23:00Speaker 12: into one with a little bit more speed and skill
- 23:03Speaker 12: as well.
- 23:04Speaker 2: And this road trip.
- 23:04Speaker 12: As far as Schaefer and the rest, right now at
- 23:06Speaker 12: the end of seven games, second time this season they're
- 23:09Speaker 12: playing a road trip that long, they're right now three
- 23:11Speaker 12: to two to one in that stretch. After beating Vancouver
- 23:14Speaker 12: four to three on Monday, Anthony Duclair, who was on
- 23:17Speaker 12: a heater, had two goals in that game in Ilios
- 23:20Speaker 12: Serok right now living up to top billing as far
- 23:22Speaker 12: as goaltenders in this league at twenty nine saves Tony
- 23:25Speaker 12: DiAngelo game winning goal, plus also former Seattle Thunderbird Matt
- 23:29Speaker 12: Barzel two assists in that game.
- 23:32Speaker 2: By the way, he has.
- 23:33Speaker 12: Now two assists shy of Clark Gillies for fifth all
- 23:36Speaker 12: time in Islander history. The penalty kill also a big
- 23:40Speaker 12: story for them recently, they have killed off thirty one
- 23:42Speaker 12: of the last thirty eight is in Salloween, ranking as
- 23:45Speaker 12: the second best unit in the entire NHL.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I'm on our story lines. First up again with Schaeffer.
- 23:51Speaker 12: He leads them six power play goals, he has second
- 23:54Speaker 12: in assists, and Alcos threw him on their back end,
- 23:57Speaker 12: and with two points this evening, he can join Bobby
- 24:00Speaker 12: Or as a second eighteen year old defenseman in NHL
- 24:03Speaker 12: history to put up three straight multi point games as well.
- 24:07Speaker 12: The Kraken need to keep him at base certainly. Secondly,
- 24:10Speaker 12: it is Anthony Duclair aka the Duke. Speed in production
- 24:15Speaker 12: is his game. He's got four goals last four games,
- 24:18Speaker 12: plus seven goals and nine points over the last seven
- 24:21Speaker 12: games and a big part of their top line now
- 24:23Speaker 12: with on andrews Lee and Matt Barzel, the krack and
- 24:26Speaker 12: certainly have to focus on. And finally, the starter a
- 24:29Speaker 12: net our third story line, Ilia Sarok and one of
- 24:32Speaker 12: the top goalies in the league right now, Leeds the
- 24:34Speaker 12: NHL eight seven to five high dangers save percentage against
- 24:38Speaker 12: the Kraken in six games. He owns a two to
- 24:40Speaker 12: three to one record for his career with a nine
- 24:42Speaker 12: to one to nine save percent eng and this evening
- 24:44Speaker 12: he will pass Chico Resh for third most games and
- 24:48Speaker 12: Islanders history. Let's hear more from their side, and Casey
- 24:52Speaker 12: Suzekis has certainly seen a ton fourteen full season with
- 24:55Speaker 12: the Islanders, so he's got some wisdom here for his
- 24:57Speaker 12: team on how they approach the end of this low
- 25:00Speaker 12: road trip this evening, it's.
- 25:01Speaker 24: Just play our game, that's the biggest thing. We have
- 25:04Speaker 24: an opportunity to to finish this road trip on a
- 25:07Speaker 24: high note, and you know, we we got to play
- 25:10Speaker 24: a solid game. I think this team's lost six of
- 25:13Speaker 24: the last seven or something like that, and.
- 25:16Speaker 19: They're gonna come out hungry.
- 25:17Speaker 24: They're they're looking for a win and it's.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Not going to be an easy game.
- 25:20Speaker 24: So we're ready for the challenge ahead of us and
- 25:24Speaker 24: we're excited to uh get to the ball rolling.
- 25:27Speaker 12: Great story here by the way, Anthony Duke Clair, we
- 25:29Speaker 12: talked about that heat or he's on Well, one reason
- 25:32Speaker 12: he's using cases Zeke is his stick and so zek
- 25:35Speaker 12: has shared more on here.
- 25:36Speaker 2: How de Claire got it.
- 25:37Speaker 24: Yeah, I mean it's uh, you know, he just came
- 25:40Speaker 24: up that and you know, I asked if he could
- 25:42Speaker 24: try it in practice, and I'm not gonna say no.
- 25:44Speaker 24: It's you know, the sticks are you know, they're they're similar,
- 25:50Speaker 24: but they're they're different at the same time. So you
- 25:52Speaker 24: know that for the first time he grabbed it, that
- 25:54Speaker 24: puck was coming off hot and then he had that
- 25:56Speaker 24: big night with it and the rest is history.
- 26:00Speaker 12: Sharing us caring right. That certainly helped fuel the Islander's offense.
- 26:03Speaker 12: And since January third, they have played eight games and
- 26:06Speaker 12: five times they have scored four goals or more. And
- 26:09Speaker 12: that coach Patrick wasas said, the process for them is working.
- 26:12Speaker 25: I like the way we've been playing offensively. I feel
- 26:15Speaker 25: like I was watching it yesterday and the structure that
- 26:19Speaker 25: we've been using and the positioning. I feel like all
- 26:24Speaker 25: we're missing right now is scoring more goals. But we're
- 26:28Speaker 25: doing a lot of really good things, really positive. I mean,
- 26:31Speaker 25: I'm very pleased to the way we hold on those
- 26:34Speaker 25: pucks and the way that where the patients that we
- 26:36Speaker 25: showed and the net presence that we have and finding
- 26:41Speaker 25: those seams. I mean, I'm pretty happy with that.
- 26:45Speaker 12: And in regards to what Matthew Schaeffer brings, here's more
- 26:47Speaker 12: with Brendan Burke, who is the Islander of TV Voice
- 26:50Speaker 12: and will be a part of the national TV call
- 26:52Speaker 12: this evening here for the NHL on T n T.
- 26:55Speaker 26: Think I haven't. I mean he's worked the Prices mission.
- 26:59Speaker 26: If you're on the sensibuck down to watch it, he's
- 27:01Speaker 26: worth coming to watch. He's eighteen years old, and it's
- 27:03Speaker 26: funny like not only the eighteen years old, he barely
- 27:07Speaker 26: turned eighteen before.
- 27:07Speaker 6: The season started.
- 27:08Speaker 26: He's September five birthday, so so like he is as
- 27:12Speaker 26: young as young could be, which is why every time
- 27:13Speaker 26: he does something he's the youngest player to ever do it.
- 27:15Speaker 26: It's there are not a lot of people that have
- 27:17Speaker 26: played the game younger than he had. But realistically, you know,
- 27:22Speaker 26: when the draft happened last year and the Islanders won
- 27:25Speaker 26: the lottery jumped ten spots to give the number one pick,
- 27:29Speaker 26: you know a lot of people were going, boy, it's
- 27:31Speaker 26: too bad the Islanders won the lottery in one of
- 27:33Speaker 26: these years where there's no generational talent. That was the thought,
- 27:38Speaker 26: because there was there was no Matchelus celebrating, no Connor
- 27:40Speaker 26: Maguard even next year, like Gavin mckennon's being build with
- 27:43Speaker 26: somebody to be a generational type talent. But there was
- 27:45Speaker 26: really no clear cut number one for a lot of
- 27:48Speaker 26: people coming into this draft. And the thing to remember
- 27:53Speaker 26: is Matthew Shaffer got hurt last year. He started the
- 27:55Speaker 26: year with Mono, he went through a lot, he broke
- 27:57Speaker 26: his collar going to World Juniors. He only played seven
- 28:00Speaker 26: team games last year. If Matthew Schaefer had played a
- 28:03Speaker 26: full season last year in his draft year, there would
- 28:06Speaker 26: have been absolutely no question that this is a generational talent.
- 28:09Speaker 26: I think I think that they were robbed of watching
- 28:12Speaker 26: him in his draft year, and so not everybody was
- 28:14Speaker 26: on the same page as universally as maybe a Badata
- 28:18Speaker 26: or Celebrini. But boy, oh boy, is this kid as
- 28:22Speaker 26: good as you can possibly imagine doing things. You know,
- 28:24Speaker 26: he's putting up points, but he's also playing, He's playing
- 28:26Speaker 26: twenty four minutes the nights, he's getting a top pair
- 28:28Speaker 26: matchups against the opposition's best best forward, and he has
- 28:33Speaker 26: taken it all and done an extremely well.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So it's really important.
- 28:37Speaker 2: That's part of the challenge.
- 28:38Speaker 12: As the voice of Brendan Burke and after this ever,
- 28:40Speaker 12: now have your three keys and you're listening to the
- 28:42Speaker 12: Global Credit Union crack an audio network around here gets

- 30:46Speaker 29: You're listening Seattle crackin Hockey on the Crack and Audio
- 30:49Speaker 29: Network back.
- 30:50Speaker 4: It'side a climate Plage arena about thirty twenty six minutes
- 30:54Speaker 4: away from puck drop crackling and the New York Islanders
- 30:59Speaker 4: ever fits you out back alongside Seattle, trying to get
- 31:02Speaker 4: back in the win column one four and two in
- 31:06Speaker 4: their last six seven games coming in to tonight, partner.
- 31:09Speaker 5: The last time these two teams met, it.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Came literally down to the wire, a one nothing shootout
- 31:16Speaker 4: win for the Islanders on Long Island back in November.
- 31:20Speaker 4: The Krack and involving victim to some slow starts in
- 31:22Speaker 4: recent games.
- 31:23Speaker 6: What do they have to do to turn it around tonight?
- 31:26Speaker 6: Well leads right into my first key, which is a
- 31:28Speaker 6: great start. This isn't the night to ease into it
- 31:31Speaker 6: like a Sunday skate at Northgate. You're at home, second
- 31:34Speaker 6: of six, the crowds buzzing, hit the gas immediately. First
- 31:38Speaker 6: ten minutes should look like the Kraken drank three espressos
- 31:41Speaker 6: and stole the Islanders hockey sticks. Get pucks, deep, get
- 31:44Speaker 6: bodies moving, and make New York realize the impact of
- 31:47Speaker 6: the West coast time change is undefeated. Secondly, no freebies
- 31:52Speaker 6: aka stopped the shorthanded charity program. Nothing deflates a building
- 31:56Speaker 6: faster than gifting a shorthanded.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Goal like it's a door prize.
- 31:59Speaker 6: Power plays momentum, not emotional damage. Manage the puck, don't
- 32:03Speaker 6: get cute at the blue line, and remember the other
- 32:06Speaker 6: team is allowed to pressure you when your power play.
- 32:08Speaker 6: If the Islanders score shorthanded, someone owes this building an apology. Third,
- 32:14Speaker 6: stellar goaltending Philip Grubauer doesn't need to be flashy, just
- 32:18Speaker 6: calm and composed and allergic to rebounds. Bek saves at
- 32:22Speaker 6: the right time, Suck the life of of opponents and
- 32:24Speaker 6: make your teammates team. Make your teammates feel ten feet taller.
- 32:29Speaker 6: When the Islanders pushed, Groovey needs to slam the door
- 32:32Speaker 6: and lose the key. Nothing frustrates a team more than
- 32:35Speaker 6: a goalie who says not tonight repeatedly. So in some
- 32:39Speaker 6: start fast like you mean it, Stop handing out shorthanded souvenirs,
- 32:43Speaker 6: and let Groovy do groovy things at an elite level.
- 32:46Speaker 6: This is how you turn a homestand into a statement
- 32:48Speaker 6: and not a missed opportunity. The building stays loud, the
- 32:51Speaker 6: bench stays confident, and the Islanders stay noid. Do this,
- 32:56Speaker 6: do these three things, and climate Plagerina turns into a
- 32:58Speaker 6: very uncomfortable place for visitors, just the way you like it.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Krack And entering the game tonight, two points back of
- 33:05Speaker 4: the Ducks, the Sharks, and the Kings in the Pacific
- 33:09Speaker 4: Division right now, Seattle at fifty one points, San Jose
- 33:13Speaker 4: at fifty three holding down the second and final wildcard spot.
- 33:17Speaker 4: The La Kings also with fifty three points as well.
- 33:21Speaker 4: They are in the outside looking in. But for Seattle,
- 33:25Speaker 4: I mean you. We touched on this a little bit
- 33:27Speaker 4: earlier in the pregame show about how it's not been
- 33:31Speaker 4: egregious mistakes for Seattle. It has been a little kind
- 33:35Speaker 4: of a death by a thousand paper cuts, where it's
- 33:37Speaker 4: been a lot of smaller things that have kind of
- 33:40Speaker 4: exacerbated into larger issues for Seattle. Liked their starts, Laine
- 33:45Speaker 4: lambert Is said about the social shorthanded goal the other day.
- 33:48Speaker 5: We knew what was coming, We knew they were gonna
- 33:50Speaker 5: run that play.
- 33:51Speaker 2: And we fell right into it.
- 33:52Speaker 15: Anyway.
- 33:53Speaker 2: So it's about correcting those smaller things.
- 33:55Speaker 5: And absolutely is.
- 33:56Speaker 6: And some of those smaller things are to what you're
- 33:58Speaker 6: not doing yet, right, And we keep talking about good starts.
- 34:02Speaker 6: If you're not going out and getting to hit on
- 34:05Speaker 6: your first shift, and I'm talking about those third and
- 34:07Speaker 6: fourth lines, but really it could be any line. You're
- 34:09Speaker 6: not getting a good start, if you're not getting a
- 34:11Speaker 6: shot on goal, if you're not beating somebody to puck
- 34:14Speaker 6: and winning a puck bell, you're not getting a good start.
- 34:16Speaker 6: It's doing all of those little things and adding them
- 34:18Speaker 6: all up to the first five ten minutes of the
- 34:21Speaker 6: first period.
- 34:22Speaker 5: That's what equates to a good start.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Kraken jumpling up the lines a little bit. Your top
- 34:25Speaker 4: line tonight McCann Vaneers. Everle that was Cocko Vaneers every
- 34:29Speaker 4: one game. Ago Catton moves up to the second line,
- 34:32Speaker 4: will take the claws spot of Ellie Tolbinen, who moves
- 34:35Speaker 4: to the right side of that second line. In between
- 34:37Speaker 4: will be Chandler Stevens and Jayden Schwartz, Shane Wright, Kapplocaco
- 34:40Speaker 4: on the third line, and then the fourth line, Ryan Winterton,
- 34:43Speaker 4: Ben Myers and Freddie Gudreaux, so Lane Lambert trying to
- 34:47Speaker 4: get anything going offensively.
- 34:49Speaker 5: What do you like about this grouping here tonight?
- 34:51Speaker 6: Well, I like the fact that he's continuing to tinker
- 34:53Speaker 6: because he's not getting what he wants to. You know,
- 34:55Speaker 6: with the tinkering that he's done in previous games. Jeared
- 34:57Speaker 6: McCann's one of your best scores. He should probably be
- 35:00Speaker 6: on that top line with Manny Beniers and Jordan Beverley Berkeley.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Catten has been surging lately. Not surprised to see him
- 35:06Speaker 6: shift up into the second line. Jayden Schwartz played on
- 35:08Speaker 6: the fourth line last game. I thought he had a
- 35:10Speaker 6: big impact on that. He'll go with Shane Wright and
- 35:12Speaker 6: Coppococko on the third line today. I like the offense
- 35:15Speaker 6: on that line. This kracking team's gonna need a lot
- 35:18Speaker 6: of offense tonight because, like you said, they went to
- 35:20Speaker 6: a Both goaltenders had shutouts last game when they played
- 35:25Speaker 6: each other and then went to a shootout for the win.
- 35:27Speaker 6: And you know, I gotta believe you're gonna see a
- 35:29Speaker 6: lot of the same tonight. Elis Sarrokans who were expecting
- 35:31Speaker 6: to see for the Islanders.
- 35:32Speaker 5: He has a league.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Leading five shutouts, including two in his last five. So
- 35:36Speaker 6: he's playing some elague Golton Goldton right now, you know
- 35:39Speaker 6: who we.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Never need to tinker with because he is just always
- 35:44Speaker 4: in the right perfect position at the right perfect time.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Mike Betton.

- 38:10Speaker 12: Second and final meeting of this season coming up for
- 38:12Speaker 12: the Kraken and the Islanders. Mike Benton with you, and
- 38:15Speaker 12: right now let's go back downstairs for more in science
- 38:17Speaker 12: with head coach Lane Lambert standing by with evera fits you.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Thanks Mike, Lane. Six y three loss the other night
- 38:23Speaker 4: against the Pittsburgh Penguins and in a game in which,
- 38:26Speaker 4: at the end of the night felt the Kraken should
- 38:28Speaker 4: have could have gotten off to a better start. Just
- 38:30Speaker 4: take us through that game and your your thoughts on
- 38:32Speaker 4: that performance.
- 38:33Speaker 19: Well, I thought, like you said, you know, we were
- 38:38Speaker 19: give up the first goal here. You know, it's been
- 38:40Speaker 19: too many games in a row, and now of a
- 38:42Speaker 19: sudden you're chasing the game. It leaves you needing you know,
- 38:45Speaker 19: two to win as long as you keep them off
- 38:48Speaker 19: the score sheet. And then we give up another shorthanded goal,
- 38:50Speaker 19: so we're chasing the game. You know, we were chasing
- 38:54Speaker 19: the game, and so it was a little bit more
- 38:55Speaker 19: difficult from that standpoint when you find that you're chasing
- 38:58Speaker 19: the game. You can't afford to give up another goal.
- 39:00Speaker 19: You know, it sucks the energy out of end. Right now,
- 39:02Speaker 19: with the amount of games that we play, we've got
- 39:05Speaker 19: to get a lead and we've got to try and
- 39:07Speaker 19: maintain the lead so that we can expend less energy
- 39:10Speaker 19: trying to come back.
- 39:11Speaker 4: You've done pretty good in the last handful of games
- 39:14Speaker 4: in coming back, but you mentioned this morning, you can't
- 39:16Speaker 4: put yourselves in that position to have to come back
- 39:20Speaker 4: so often.
- 39:21Speaker 15: Where do you.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Feel the crux of that problem lies with Seattle.
- 39:25Speaker 19: Well, it's just a matter of you know, the starts
- 39:28Speaker 19: and you know, making certain mistakes. I think that our detail,
- 39:33Speaker 19: you know, maybe isn't what it was or what I
- 39:35Speaker 19: would like to like it to be. Even when we
- 39:37Speaker 19: were losing games in December, I thought our detail was good.
- 39:41Speaker 19: I think we can be better with our detail. We've
- 39:43Speaker 19: got to be better off the start here, you know,
- 39:45Speaker 19: and again we're giving up. You know, we get a
- 39:49Speaker 19: lead in Utah, we get an opportunity with a five
- 39:52Speaker 19: month three, we don't score, and they score a short
- 39:55Speaker 19: hand of goal. So it's kind of anything that can
- 39:58Speaker 19: go wrong is going wrong. But there's a reason for it,
- 40:01Speaker 19: and we've better correct it.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Fourth line continues to impress, but I know that you'd
- 40:04Speaker 4: like to see a little bit more production and a
- 40:06Speaker 4: little bit more, you know, offense from those top three lines.
- 40:10Speaker 4: What do you want to see starting here tonight from
- 40:13Speaker 4: those top three lines? You've jumbled a few things up,
- 40:15Speaker 4: at least based on morning skate looks. What are you
- 40:17Speaker 4: hoping to get out of that tonight?
- 40:19Speaker 19: Well, we need our guys to be better. You know,
- 40:21Speaker 19: they've got to be here. When your fourth line is
- 40:23Speaker 19: driving your offense, you know it's going to be real
- 40:26Speaker 19: hard to win in this league. And that's no disrespect
- 40:29Speaker 19: to our fourth line. They've done a great job, but
- 40:31Speaker 19: we need other people driving, creating opportunities, creating plays and
- 40:36Speaker 19: scoring goals. That's just the bottom line. We need our
- 40:38Speaker 19: top nine guys to be better.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Islanders one of the more stingier teams defensively in the
- 40:43Speaker 4: NHL the crack and lost a one nothing shootout on
- 40:46Speaker 4: Long Island back in November. What do you need to
- 40:49Speaker 4: do today to overcome that tough defensive structure from the Islanders?
- 40:54Speaker 19: Well, They're defensive structure is good. They attack a lot,
- 40:58Speaker 19: but at the same time, they've got great goaltending, and
- 41:00Speaker 19: the underlying numbers would indicate that if we stay on
- 41:03Speaker 19: them pressure, then we're going to get our opportunities. We've
- 41:06Speaker 19: got to make sure we take away Sir Rokan's ability
- 41:08Speaker 19: to see the pup and you know, we've got to
- 41:11Speaker 19: get to the net and get some greasy goals. But
- 41:13Speaker 19: there will be opportunities there for us if we plan
- 41:16Speaker 19: our toast.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Two years ago you were with the Islanders, and now
- 41:19Speaker 4: having coached against them once with the Seattle Kraken, what
- 41:22Speaker 4: have you seen from them and how their play has
- 41:24Speaker 4: changed and evolved from your time on Long Island.
- 41:27Speaker 19: Well, they've got an influx of speed. You know, they've
- 41:32Speaker 19: done a really good job of sort of retooling I
- 41:35Speaker 19: guess to a certain degree and added speed to their lineup,
- 41:38Speaker 19: which makes them a lot more dangerous, makes guys like
- 41:40Speaker 19: Barzil and Horvat even more dangerous because they have guys
- 41:43Speaker 19: with speed to give it too. So that's really the
- 41:45Speaker 19: biggest thing for me. And then you know, however you
- 41:48Speaker 19: do that, you jump what twelve places in the draft
- 41:51Speaker 19: to pick Matthew Schaeffer. Boy, that was lucky. So he's
- 41:55Speaker 19: pretty good.
- 41:56Speaker 4: When you see some of the younger players in this league,
- 41:58Speaker 4: Matt Schaeffer, Bertley Catton here and see how Macklen Telabrini
- 42:01Speaker 4: as well. What do you like about the young group
- 42:06Speaker 4: of talent that we have in our league right now?
- 42:08Speaker 4: What have you noticed about these eighteen, nineteen twenty year
- 42:11Speaker 4: old kids coming into the league.
- 42:13Speaker 19: Well, it's changed, you know, from back in the day
- 42:15Speaker 19: when your Crosby's and Eurovechkins came in the league. Right
- 42:18Speaker 19: the league's a little bit different. There's just a high
- 42:22Speaker 19: end skill level certainly not only out of those players,
- 42:28Speaker 19: but are other players that you haven't even mentioned. And
- 42:31Speaker 19: the talent, level of skill, level of speed in which
- 42:33Speaker 19: they play the game at is off the charts right now.
- 42:37Speaker 19: These young guys are playing real, real well, and it's
- 42:40Speaker 19: great to see because you know, you're Crosby Zerovechkins. Those
- 42:44Speaker 19: guys can only drive the league for so long, and
- 42:47Speaker 19: you know you have to have a change in the
- 42:49Speaker 19: guard and have people get excited about certain players in
- 42:52Speaker 19: this league. And there's certainly a lot to be excited
- 42:55Speaker 19: about right now, including our team.
- 42:57Speaker 12: That's that coach Lane Lambert state tune your lineups are
