The Utah Jazz fell 106-117 to the Denver Nuggets in their season opener, dropping their record to 1-1 despite Darryn Peterson’s 23-point performance. Keyonte George struggled with playmaking, recording only 4 assists as the Jazz failed to match Denver's efficiency.
Mo Bamba led the Jazz with 10 rebounds, but defensive rotations allowed Aaron Gordon to score 18 points for Denver. The loss highlights spacing issues and a lack of bench production as five key players remain day-to-day.
