Latest / Pink Shade: Reality TV with Mary Payne / 2030 - INTERVIEW with Elise Benson of Before the 90 Days
Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. You guys. This is
- 0:15Speaker 1: a special Thursday episode with a special guest. It's a
- 0:19Speaker 1: lease from Before the ninety Days.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Hi, Hi, Hi, So where did y'all?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Good to see you again? Yes, okay, Elise, I saw
- 0:29Speaker 1: you in New York at the epic TLC holiday party
- 0:34Speaker 1: and I was like, I can't believe you're going to
- 0:36Speaker 1: be on this new season of Before the ninety Days.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And you're like me either, I know. You were like
- 0:44Speaker 1: I didn't know it, And I was like, what was
- 0:45Speaker 1: the deal? Because when they put out the initial press stuff,
- 0:49Speaker 1: you were not on it. And then like a week
- 0:51Speaker 1: or two before when they were doing the big press push,
- 0:54Speaker 1: you were there with Joshua, but totally a photoshopped picture
- 0:59Speaker 1: and not even a good picture of you, I might add,
- 1:01Speaker 1: because you're a gorgeous girl. I was like, they couldn't
- 1:03Speaker 1: get a they couldn't get a better picture than that.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Oh my god, the worst picture. It's so embarrassing, but
- 1:08Speaker 2: like whatever.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And then they fixed it. But then they fixed it
- 1:11Speaker 1: so obviously it was sort of maybe like a last
- 1:13Speaker 1: minute edition and we were the whole season, like, okay,
- 1:16Speaker 1: one of these couples is going to completely drop off,
- 1:19Speaker 1: so they had to bring in a new couple to
- 1:21Speaker 1: make it even. But really only Emma, I was like
- 1:26Speaker 1: with the hair, only Emma dropped off kind of early,
- 1:30Speaker 1: but not really because the season is always over. So
- 1:32Speaker 1: what was it about? Explained to me how that happened
- 1:35Speaker 1: or how you found out or if you thought you
- 1:37Speaker 1: were shooting another show or what.
- 1:39Speaker 2: No, So I don't know the backstory of like the
- 1:42Speaker 2: picture and how I was put in last and our photoshopping.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I don't know, because when you guys find out like
- 1:48Speaker 2: the photos, I found out too, So I the back
- 1:51Speaker 2: end of that happened. But I was talking to Josh
- 1:54Speaker 2: for like six months on Instagram and like it progressed
- 1:57Speaker 2: and we were talking on the phone, and you know,
- 2:00Speaker 2: we were talking every single day honestly, and TLS reached
- 2:05Speaker 2: out to me and they're like, hey, at least, like
- 2:07Speaker 2: I just want to see where you are in life,
- 2:09Speaker 2: if you're like talking to anyone, if you're in a relationship,
- 2:11Speaker 2: And I was like, well, actually I am. And I
- 2:14Speaker 2: have been talking to this guy for a while now
- 2:17Speaker 2: and he lives in Australia and I've never met him before,
- 2:20Speaker 2: so I think they were like, Okay, this is perfect.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, do you want.
- 2:24Speaker 2: To do before the ninety days? And I was like absolutely,
- 2:28Speaker 2: So that's how it happened.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Because it also could have been the other way because
- 2:32Speaker 1: like you went there, it's another person coming here. But anyway, Okay,
- 2:37Speaker 1: so you met him on Instagram. So like I'm a
- 2:39Speaker 1: person that's been married for twenty five years, I don't
- 2:41Speaker 1: know anything about swiping or apps or how people date
- 2:46Speaker 1: that way. I'm fascinated by it. I'm always like I
- 2:48Speaker 1: want to find somebody who's on Tinder or Bumble or
- 2:51Speaker 1: something and just look at their phone, like I just
- 2:53Speaker 1: need to see what do you see? Like I don't know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I've never seen it.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't a dating appo was on Instagram.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But that's question is like, are you just like you
- 3:01Speaker 1: post hot pictures on Instagram and guys a thousand guys
- 3:05Speaker 1: a minute DM me.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Okay, So like everyone knows he's a yacht broker and
- 3:10Speaker 2: I actually modeled for a boat company that he sells. Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 2: saw me on a boat in the in the the
- 3:20Speaker 2: boat company had tagged my Instagram, so that's how he
- 3:22Speaker 2: had found me. I mean, I do post a lot
- 3:25Speaker 2: of thirst traps. Let's be real. I post like on
- 3:27Speaker 2: boats a lot and bikinis a lot. But it was
- 3:30Speaker 2: just so ironic because I was on a I did
- 3:32Speaker 2: a literal photo shoot. The photo was tagged and he
- 3:35Speaker 2: saw it and then reached out to me.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Okay, So it wasn't like he was searching like ninety
- 3:40Speaker 1: Day cast members or oh no, yeah, yeah, yeah, no,
- 3:43Speaker 1: no crazy okay. But again, if somebody DMS, you aren't
- 3:47Speaker 1: you like, okay, you get a lot, you know, yeah, I.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Do do get a lot of DMS now, especially, but
- 3:55Speaker 2: I don't know. There was something that like I don't know,
- 3:57Speaker 2: like you know, the invisible string theory or something. I
- 4:01Speaker 2: wrote back and his profile was private, so I had
- 4:03Speaker 2: to add him. But like his profile fixture was cute
- 4:05Speaker 2: and I was like, Australia is so hot, Like let
- 4:08Speaker 2: me go for it. Because typically ninety nine point nine
- 4:12Speaker 2: nine nine percent of the time, if a guy DMS me,
- 4:14Speaker 2: I do not answer. Yeah, I'm in a relationship, I'll
- 4:17Speaker 2: never answer. But when I'm single, Like it's weird that,
- 4:20Speaker 2: like guys always shoot their shot. It's like a numbers
- 4:23Speaker 2: game from them. It's like literally like they'll DM probably
- 4:26Speaker 2: fifty girls hoping one will answer.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I truly believe, like in fate or something, because I
- 4:32Speaker 2: answered him and I was like, wow.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's how I feel. Like with Daniel and Lisa on
- 4:37Speaker 1: this season, I think Daniel probably DMed like one hundred
- 4:40Speaker 1: girls and Lisa was the one that bit. That's what
- 4:42Speaker 1: I think probably. Okay, So what was the tell me
- 4:46Speaker 1: the time frame between when you guys shot Hunt for
- 4:49Speaker 1: Love okay, to when that was done and then to
- 4:53Speaker 1: when this happened, because meanwhile, you were hanging out with
- 4:56Speaker 1: Carlo a little bit after Hunt for Love and and
- 5:00Speaker 1: so what was the time frame, Like were you talking
- 5:02Speaker 1: to Joshua during the same time or was it like
- 5:04Speaker 1: such a big time difference. It's hard.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to think it was like it was
- 5:09Speaker 2: a big time difference. Like I it was nine months
- 5:13Speaker 2: after I got back from Hunt for.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Love, Okay, okay, because you were you hung out with
- 5:18Speaker 1: Carla for several months, Like.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Carlo and I hadn't spoken for probably five to
- 5:23Speaker 2: six months when I first started talking.
- 5:24Speaker 1: To josh okay, okay, time, and that was.
- 5:29Speaker 2: When I hadn't had sex and like I was like
- 5:31Speaker 2: working on.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Myself, Okay, all right, celibacy okay period, Yeah yeah, So
- 5:38Speaker 1: do you keep in touch with any of that Hunt
- 5:39Speaker 1: for Love cast?
- 5:40Speaker 2: Courtney Love Love? Poor girls going going through it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: For that loser? I mean, have you ever?
- 5:49Speaker 2: I just don't understand. It's like either just wants to
- 5:52Speaker 2: self sabotage because like, how do you disrespect someone like that? Like,
- 5:57Speaker 2: oh my god, I have no idea, but.
- 5:59Speaker 1: No, he's he I. I interviewed Kimberly recently and she's like,
- 6:04Speaker 1: he's a loser. Gina's a loser. Kimberly.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Wow, her story is pretty inspiring too. I've
- 6:13Speaker 2: been following her story on the Single Life. Wow, I
- 6:17Speaker 2: give her so much credit, like so much credit. That
- 6:20Speaker 2: must be really hard to do.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I know, I give her so much credit too. And
- 6:24Speaker 1: Courtney is on this single Life, Oh my god. Every
- 6:27Speaker 1: time they show her like they show they're like their
- 6:29Speaker 1: hero shots. We're like yours A joshuas is like you're
- 6:32Speaker 1: in like the skimpiest clothes and he's hot and you're
- 6:35Speaker 1: like on a mountain in Australia with your hair, and
- 6:37Speaker 1: then you see Courtney she's pushing Colt in a wheelchair
- 6:40Speaker 1: and that's their hero shot. You're like I'm dead.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I'm dead, Like you can't make this up.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I love her, I love her, I want the best
- 6:48Speaker 1: for her, and I'm glad you guys are still friends. Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I talked to her quite often. That's like the
- 6:53Speaker 2: only person I really talked to to be honest with you.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, and like hang out with Rob. No, no,
- 7:01Speaker 1: some of the things Rob said to me at that
- 7:04Speaker 1: December party, I'm like, come on, man, but you know
- 7:08Speaker 1: Rob's going to be Rob. Y'all. Do you ever wake
- 7:12Speaker 1: up more tired than when you went to bed?
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yes?
- 7:14Speaker 1: For me, the answer is always yes. But you know,
- 7:17Speaker 1: it's not always stress. Sometimes it's your body navigating the
- 7:20Speaker 1: hormonal changes that come with being a lady of a
- 7:22Speaker 1: certain age. I've talked about this a lot on the show.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Like I lie awake at night, I worry about the
- 7:27Speaker 1: Plath kids, or I just toss and turn and worry
- 7:30Speaker 1: about like do I have my time zones right for
- 7:32Speaker 1: tomorrow's episodes. Then I wake up feeling completely exhausted. And
- 7:35Speaker 1: when your sleep is off, everything else, your focus, your mood,
- 7:39Speaker 1: your digestion, everything feels harder the next day. But that
- 7:43Speaker 1: is why I started adding magnesium breakthrough by by Optimizers
- 7:47Speaker 1: to my nightly routine. I have been researching magnesium for
- 7:50Speaker 1: a while. It has helped me feel more settled at bedtime,
- 7:53Speaker 1: Like my mind is calmer, I wake up without that
- 7:56Speaker 1: groggy feeling the next morning. And what I really appreciate
- 7:59Speaker 1: is just one type of magnesium. It is a blend
- 8:02Speaker 1: of seven different forms designed to support your relaxation and
- 8:06Speaker 1: overall sleep quality in a more complete way. I have
- 8:10Speaker 1: been looking into it, and you, guys, it's a game

- 11:07Speaker 1: I want to know how long does it take you
- 11:09Speaker 1: to get from Miami to Australia.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I took thirty nine hours.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Okay, Now how many airplanes is this?
- 11:16Speaker 2: So I did two flights, So I did from here
- 11:19Speaker 2: from Miami to LA and then from LA to Sydney.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And here to LA what like five and a half hours,
- 11:24Speaker 2: and then LA to Sydney was fourteen hours.
- 11:27Speaker 1: In the air, never stopping, right.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like I'm.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Easy to think that an airplane can do that.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but then I had like a layover and then whatever.
- 11:36Speaker 2: So like all in total, from leaving my house here
- 11:39Speaker 2: to getting to his rental after the bar, it was
- 11:43Speaker 2: like thirty nine hours.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And you had no way to take a shower or anything.
- 11:48Speaker 2: No, nothing. I felt disgusting. I'm like, are you joking?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Like I have to be cool, calm and collected and
- 11:54Speaker 2: just like go with the flow. But yeah, he came
- 11:57Speaker 2: to the airport with his friend and he wanted to
- 12:00Speaker 2: go to the bar because that's what was important to him.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I guess, Okay, I remember I sent you a DM
- 12:07Speaker 1: and I was like, girl, is this man homeless? You
- 12:10Speaker 1: were like, you don't even know allegedly allegedly. Okay, so
- 12:18Speaker 1: that you guys go, like you said, to Chris's apartment now,
- 12:20Speaker 1: in my mind, this is Chris's apartment and.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Josh they rented it.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Well, in my mind, I thought this is Chris's actual
- 12:28Speaker 1: apartment where he lives, and he's just letting Joshua stay
- 12:31Speaker 1: there in this bare room while you're in town so
- 12:34Speaker 1: he doesn't have to be at NAT's. That was my theory.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Well, the theory's wrong. Chris actually has another place and
- 12:44Speaker 2: Josh and Chris split it while I was there. But like,
- 12:48Speaker 2: my thing is, if like Josh and not are such
- 12:51Speaker 2: good friends and he was living there rent free, why
- 12:53Speaker 2: would he want to pay for a rental if there's
- 12:55Speaker 2: nothing going on between him and now, why wouldn't we
- 12:57Speaker 2: stay at Nats?
- 12:58Speaker 1: That's literally on my list. If Josh and Natt or
- 13:01Speaker 1: such buddies, why don't you just stay with him at
- 13:03Speaker 1: her place? Either way, it's going to be a roommate situation,
- 13:05Speaker 1: which is weird, So you may as well just stay
- 13:07Speaker 1: at the place where he already lives.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Right, And if you're hurting financially, why waste money to
- 13:11Speaker 2: try and impress me with a rental but.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Still with a roommate, So it's not that impressive.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, But I guess in Australia because when I
- 13:20Speaker 2: went to meet his friends that night, like all his
- 13:22Speaker 2: friends it's like the norm to have roommates, and I'm.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Like, I somebody that's from Australia. A listener wrote me
- 13:30Speaker 1: and said, it's very normal for people after college to
- 13:33Speaker 1: have boy girl roommates, and the parents really like it
- 13:36Speaker 1: because in their mind they're like, my son will be
- 13:39Speaker 1: taken care of because the girl might cook for him.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And then the girls, their parents feel safe having a
- 13:46Speaker 1: man as a roommate and they're all just platonic and
- 13:48Speaker 1: they're all just friends. But I go, Okay, that's right
- 13:50Speaker 1: out of college. This man is almost forty. Yeah, he's
- 13:52Speaker 1: had a full life and a kid. Like, yeah, that's weird.
- 13:56Speaker 2: And it's also weird, like why if you know I'm
- 13:58Speaker 2: traveling around the world, we're talking every day, Like why
- 14:01Speaker 2: wouldn't you just tell me you're living with her? Why
- 14:03Speaker 2: are you telling me right?
- 14:03Speaker 1: Because you knew they were friends because she said you
- 14:05Speaker 1: would talk to her on the phone.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yep, Yeah, I had talked to her and I knew
- 14:08Speaker 2: they were friends, and I didn't. I didn't care until
- 14:11Speaker 2: I have a reason to care or get mad, Like
- 14:13Speaker 2: I was fine with them being friends because I didn't
- 14:16Speaker 2: know anything, and like, yeah, it was just weird.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It is weird. I have to agree. Now, I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: agree with your behavior in the bar, but uh, I
- 14:26Speaker 1: mean these poor people though, people that were over on
- 14:28Speaker 1: the side that you went up to them. I was like,
- 14:30Speaker 1: these people are trying to have a beer and a
- 14:31Speaker 1: Mazarelli stick and you were yelling in their face.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well, at least they agreed with me.
- 14:36Speaker 1: They agreed, Well, what are they going to not agree
- 14:38Speaker 1: with you? You're like yelling at them. They're like, yes, girl,
- 14:42Speaker 1: back up.
- 14:43Speaker 2: They're like what the books would I just walk into
- 14:47Speaker 2: you know what? My delivery was completely off and it's
- 14:50Speaker 2: I feel so embarrassed by it, but like my points
- 14:53Speaker 2: were valid. I handled it really poorly. We all know.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I apologize. I think that it's like it was everything
- 15:01Speaker 2: leading up to it. It's just like they were like
- 15:03Speaker 2: they were like eye fucking each other, like like esp
- 15:06Speaker 2: Like you could see their eyes, like Natt was saying
- 15:09Speaker 2: something and Josh was bouncing off it, like you could
- 15:11Speaker 2: tell that they were like holding things in from me.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And I'm sitting there and I feel like it's two
- 15:15Speaker 2: against one and I don't feel like any of the
- 15:17Speaker 2: answers are getting answered, like everything, Like, so I just
- 15:23Speaker 2: handled it really bad. I did.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I mean, from what I saw, I did not see
- 15:27Speaker 1: that there was any like chemistry between them or anything.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But what And also like I think if there was
- 15:32Speaker 1: something between them, he wouldn't bring this girl around that
- 15:34Speaker 1: he's dating this hot model. He's not going to bring
- 15:37Speaker 1: her around to NAT to be like make her jealous
- 15:40Speaker 1: because he wants to toll have a place to live. Now, Okay,
- 15:43Speaker 1: now his parents were obviously local because he told you
- 15:46Speaker 1: he lived with his parents. Did you ever meet his parents?
- 15:50Speaker 2: I did not. And that's another thing, like we're too yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, well why not? Did he say why not?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Said they were away or something?
- 16:01Speaker 1: You're like, well, can we go see their house? I'd
- 16:03Speaker 1: like to see your room.
- 16:04Speaker 2: That's that was like a big thing, Like I traveled
- 16:06Speaker 2: around the world to see to be my potential husband,
- 16:10Speaker 2: and I'm giving it my all. And the only people
- 16:13Speaker 2: I've met in his life was like his partying friends, right,
- 16:16Speaker 2: Like I haven't met his son, I haven't met his family.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I don't know where he lives. Like it just feels
- 16:21Speaker 2: like I traveled around the world just to live in
- 16:23Speaker 2: a rental and meet his partying friends, like I want
- 16:25Speaker 2: to get something deeper. I want something more meaningful, you know.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and how long were you there in total?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Oh? Good question. I think two and a half weeks.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think that if you go to Australia,
- 16:35Speaker 1: everybody says you have to say a minimum two weeks,
- 16:38Speaker 1: just because at the time, difference sucks you up so much.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Sixteen hours forward or backwards, so forwards so they're the
- 16:45Speaker 2: next day ahead.
- 16:47Speaker 1: They're already the next day.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my gosh.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Okay, now Chris, Chris seemed to be like from what
- 16:54Speaker 1: we see, like to your face, he's like, your fun
- 16:57Speaker 1: and you're cool, but then kind of behind your back,
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's like, this is toxic case her. Yeah, I don't
- 17:02Speaker 1: like that.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I don't like that either. I think he just tries
- 17:04Speaker 2: to appease anyone and say whatever to Like in the moment,
- 17:09Speaker 2: it's like one second hill on my side, one second
- 17:11Speaker 2: held of Joshu's side. I get it, he's Josh's friends.
- 17:14Speaker 2: He should, you know, by default or obligation, have Joshu's side.
- 17:17Speaker 1: But yeah, it's.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Also like he's putting the blame on me, like I'm
- 17:20Speaker 2: the toxic one, Like I'm reacting to Josh's lies, and yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 2: reacting to the like suspicion and that I'm reacting. Yes,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I reacted poorly. We know I reacted poorly. I got
- 17:34Speaker 2: too mad. But the like question marks in his life
- 17:38Speaker 2: are super scary for me. Like I'm looking to get
- 17:40Speaker 2: married and I'm looking to have kids, and when you
- 17:43Speaker 2: go into something with lies, it's really.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Hard to like.
- 17:49Speaker 2: To navigate it, you know, especially so far away. I
- 17:52Speaker 2: didn't have any of my friends there. I was by myself.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I couldn't talk to anyone because the time difference, all
- 17:58Speaker 2: very isolated, and I really solely relied on Josh. And
- 18:01Speaker 2: I feel like Josh had like a whole support system
- 18:04Speaker 2: around him, and I was kind of just like there
- 18:06Speaker 2: and like my emotions got the best of me. You know.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Did you have as far as like the crew, did
- 18:13Speaker 1: you have like a producer there that was like at
- 18:15Speaker 1: least somebody you could talk to?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean, yeah, I loved the crew that came out.
- 18:20Speaker 2: My producer is great. They're great, but it's also like
- 18:23Speaker 2: they're filming a show.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Right, It's's not like your best friend or anything, right,
- 18:27Speaker 1: And like I wish.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I could call my best friend, but it's like in
- 18:31Speaker 2: the middle of the night there vice, Yeah, it was
- 18:34Speaker 2: impossible to talk to anyone.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Well, this is sort of my question too. So if
- 18:38Speaker 1: you know, you and Josh you get there and and
- 18:41Speaker 1: everything works out, what is the plan because this is
- 18:46Speaker 1: he one. I mean, Australia is pretty great. I don't
- 18:49Speaker 1: know why you know, so you would plan to move
- 18:52Speaker 1: there because he has a kid, he can't move to
- 18:54Speaker 1: the States. That was that the plan? Is that the plan?
- 18:59Speaker 2: Well, you should stay tuned for the last episode because
- 19:01Speaker 2: we definitely we definitely have that conversation. But I would say,
- 19:07Speaker 2: is like it's scary, right you're around the world. I'm
- 19:10Speaker 2: falling in love with this man, and it's like, yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 2: he I don't know if he can come to America
- 19:14Speaker 2: because of his son, and like it would take a
- 19:16Speaker 2: lot for me to go to Australia, Like I need
- 19:20Speaker 2: he Josh is a really good talker, and like he
- 19:22Speaker 2: says things to just appease me, and I don't necessarily
- 19:26Speaker 2: know if he means it, but like, yeah, I would
- 19:29Speaker 2: come to Australia and I would move there, but like
- 19:31Speaker 2: I need a game plan. I needed where were you
- 19:34Speaker 2: going to sleep at night, We're going to sleep with
- 19:35Speaker 2: your parents, because like, I've lived on my own since
- 19:38Speaker 2: I've been a freshman in college, you know, so like
- 19:42Speaker 2: where are we going to live? Like what is the
- 19:44Speaker 2: game plan? Like something like that. So definitely stay tuned
- 19:47Speaker 2: for the last episode because you will hear a lot
- 19:49Speaker 2: about that. But I like, I want to, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 2: get married and have kids, and I wanted to be
- 19:55Speaker 2: with him, So something's got to happen.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Well, I just don't quitederstand the financial part of why
- 20:01Speaker 1: he was having to live with his parents or live
- 20:03Speaker 1: with nat is fine. If she's got some big, fabulous
- 20:06Speaker 1: house and they have their own space and their roommates
- 20:08Speaker 1: at this age, that's if that's what they do over there,
- 20:10Speaker 1: that's fine. But what is the financial problem? Because it
- 20:15Speaker 1: was made out to be that he was in a
- 20:18Speaker 1: spiral situation in his life and had a boat crash
- 20:20Speaker 1: and owed all this money. But then later he tells you,
- 20:23Speaker 1: now it was like two thousand dollars. It was fine.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So it wasn't like, oh, I'm twenty k in the hole,
- 20:28Speaker 1: let me live with my parents for a few months
- 20:29Speaker 1: to get back on my feet. That wasn't the situation.
- 20:32Speaker 1: So why at his again, at his age, does he
- 20:37Speaker 1: not have the financial stability as a yacht broker?
- 20:40Speaker 2: Explain, I'm still trying to figure that out. Like, I
- 20:44Speaker 2: don't know if he's super irresponsible with his money. I
- 20:47Speaker 2: don't know if he's not taking his job seriously. I
- 20:49Speaker 2: don't know what's going on. But it's it's like he
- 20:52Speaker 2: doesn't have the money. So it's like, you're forty, what
- 20:56Speaker 2: if you are you not saving? Like I don't understand.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It's yeah, the same question you have now is what
- 21:02Speaker 2: I still have today. Okay, we don't know if we'll
- 21:05Speaker 2: ever get an answer, y'all.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I've talked a lot about how much I hate wearing
- 21:10Speaker 1: a ton of makeup. It's so uncomfortable for me. And
- 21:13Speaker 1: I hate that caked on makeup. I hate the feeling.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I hate the look. Not to mention, I have no
- 21:17Speaker 1: idea what I'm doing. Like I find myself staring into
- 21:20Speaker 1: this makeup bag full of products, brushes, sponges, and I'm like,
- 21:23Speaker 1: what do I do? Please don't let me go out
- 21:25Speaker 1: of this house looking like the clown from it, you know.
- 21:28Speaker 1: So that's where Jones Road Beauty Miracle Bomb comes in.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It actually enhances your skin instead of cacking it down,
- 21:35Speaker 1: and it gives you that effortless no makeup look like
- 21:38Speaker 1: my skin but better. That's what I'm always shooting for.

- 24:31Speaker 1: speaking of adventure, the previews for next week, I was like,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I don't know what the fuck they're doing. But I
- 24:38Speaker 1: would first of all, I would have never surfed in
- 24:40Speaker 1: that water because they are the great white shark capital
- 24:42Speaker 1: of the world. I would have never set one toe
- 24:45Speaker 1: that is where all the great white shark attacks happen
- 24:48Speaker 1: on that beach. And I was like, and I know
- 24:50Speaker 1: this because I'm obsessed with sharks, and I'm like, I
- 24:52Speaker 1: would have never gotten in that water. She's very brave.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And then I don't know what the hell it is
- 24:57Speaker 1: you guys do next week, but it looks like you're
- 24:59Speaker 1: repelling down a waterfall, and I was terrified.
- 25:01Speaker 2: It was well, first of all, I was trying to
- 25:04Speaker 2: be a team player, and like anything that Josh wanted
- 25:07Speaker 2: to do, I was just like, I'm just trying to
- 25:08Speaker 2: be a team player.
- 25:09Speaker 1: So I'm a cool girl. And that's right, just like at.
- 25:12Speaker 2: The airport, like when he brought his friend and he
- 25:14Speaker 2: wanted to go to the bar. Okay, okay, I'm a
- 25:16Speaker 2: team player. I want to be cool, you know. So
- 25:19Speaker 2: the surfing it was kind of fun. I was horrible,
- 25:22Speaker 2: but yeah, next week, let me tell you, like that
- 25:25Speaker 2: was the scariest experience in my life, like very like
- 25:29Speaker 2: very very very very scary.
- 25:31Speaker 1: It looks like you guys go on a hike and
- 25:33Speaker 1: then you're repelling at the end of it, but it's
- 25:35Speaker 1: down like a waterfall.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Like what the hell called ab sailing. I've never I've
- 25:39Speaker 2: never heard of the word before.
- 25:41Speaker 1: No, I was.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I was trying to make it up to Josh and
- 25:43Speaker 2: like tell him I'm sorry, and he likes adventurous stuff.
- 25:47Speaker 2: So I went online and I booked this ab sailing
- 25:49Speaker 2: adventure for us. But little did I know what I
- 25:52Speaker 2: was about to walk into it.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It looks like the Blair Witch Project. It's like it's
- 25:56Speaker 1: like I came on your head. You're like, ah, it.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Looks like I didn't see because the water was going
- 26:01Speaker 2: in my eyes. I couldn't hear because we had like
- 26:04Speaker 2: this thing over our ears. And then I couldn't feel
- 26:07Speaker 2: because I lost touch because it was so cold. And
- 26:10Speaker 2: I'm going down this mountain and or the waterfall and
- 26:13Speaker 2: I got stuck. I couldn't repel down. It was very,
- 26:16Speaker 2: very very scary, like like.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Bad and tlc' is like, oh my god, we don't
- 26:22Speaker 1: have the insurance for this. Ye what if she dies?
- 26:26Speaker 2: No, I yeah, it was. It was pretty intense. I
- 26:28Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know you're I'm going to see
- 26:30Speaker 2: it with you guys next week. But I saw the preview,
- 26:32Speaker 2: I was like, whoa.
- 26:33Speaker 1: They probably brought back some memories of like I'm never
- 26:35Speaker 1: doing that again ever in my life. Okay, I have
- 26:40Speaker 1: to talk about your purse wall in your apartment.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Talk to me.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Okay. I DMed you about it immediately. Okay, So this
- 26:48Speaker 1: is your apartment, and last time I interviewed the same one,
- 26:50Speaker 1: so it's like the same one we see. So it's
- 26:52Speaker 1: a lot of black and white, and there's the stairs
- 26:54Speaker 1: that go up, and then there's your bed up there.
- 26:56Speaker 1: But is it like a loft and that's like a
- 26:58Speaker 1: half wall.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's a lot. So this is actually my
- 27:01Speaker 2: hallway when you walk in, I'm sitting okay. I thought
- 27:04Speaker 2: this was good biting. And then you like there's stairs
- 27:07Speaker 2: after the kitchen and you walk up and then it's
- 27:10Speaker 2: my bedroom's up top.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Okay, is the bathroom up there?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah, there's two. There's one downstairs, one's upstairs.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Okay. All right. So the half wall that you have,
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with it. So it's like a half wall
- 27:20Speaker 1: with little shelves like a purse store. Yeah, with your
- 27:23Speaker 1: purses on it like lit up.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Well it wasn't lit up. It's just like literal shelving.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I put my purses on, but like.
- 27:30Speaker 1: At the foot of your bed so you can stare
- 27:31Speaker 1: at them. Why you sleep?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Well, I mean I wasn't like trying to be like
- 27:36Speaker 2: showing them off, but I just didn't know where to
- 27:38Speaker 2: put them. And I don't have that much closet space,
- 27:40Speaker 2: so I thought, like to put shelving there.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's aspirational. I think, well, thank you, yeah, because I
- 27:48Speaker 1: have all my purses, you know, whether they're like fancy
- 27:50Speaker 1: or not. And I have some that are fancy and
- 27:52Speaker 1: some that are just like regular, and they're just sort
- 27:54Speaker 1: of all shoved. I have all the dust bags like
- 27:56Speaker 1: in a different place, and I had a closet organizer recently.
- 28:00Speaker 1: And she goes, okay, so we're gonna put all the
- 28:02Speaker 1: pursons like in their dust bags. And I go but
- 28:04Speaker 1: then I won't know what they are, right, And she goes, well,
- 28:08Speaker 1: I go no, because I have some that are no.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I don't want to I want the dust bag to
- 28:11Speaker 1: go inside. She's like, this is not and I was like,
- 28:14Speaker 1: I don't have this space to like do like people
- 28:16Speaker 1: do like take a picture and put it outside the
- 28:18Speaker 1: box and put the box in the thing. I was like,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm not that girl, you know.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So I used to have before the shelving. I used
- 28:24Speaker 2: to have like a pole and like it looked like
- 28:26Speaker 2: a tree, like like yes, the little rods coming out,
- 28:30Speaker 2: and it just looked so messy. Believe chunky, yeah, chunky,
- 28:34Speaker 2: great wordy not. I'm very clean and organized all like
- 28:38Speaker 2: just having them like laying out like that, it was
- 28:41Speaker 2: much cleaner. Look because my closet is completely filled with
- 28:44Speaker 2: all my clothes, so I nowhere else to.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Put the girl. Let me tell you something. There's not
- 28:49Speaker 1: anyway your closet could be two packs with clothes because
- 28:51Speaker 1: your clothes are two handkerchiefs and a string.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Okay, if you've got it, we were.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Looking at I was like, I bet she saved so
- 29:03Speaker 1: much space unpacking because all over clothes or just all
- 29:06Speaker 1: through little strings.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I literally brought three suitcases there full of clothes.
- 29:11Speaker 1: One has to be just shoes and one has to
- 29:12Speaker 1: be just ersus.
- 29:13Speaker 2: You know what's so funny. And I've never told anyone this.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I forgot all my shoes going to Australia. I don't
- 29:19Speaker 2: know how I managed to. I think I was like
- 29:22Speaker 2: rushing to pack, but like I had a bag and
- 29:24Speaker 2: all my shoes I left except two pairs, so.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You just have to go buy shoes.
- 29:28Speaker 2: I bought a few pairs, and I just I don't
- 29:30Speaker 2: know if you'll see on the show, but like I
- 29:32Speaker 2: rewore the same one. They don't really get your feet
- 29:34Speaker 2: that much, so thank god.
- 29:35Speaker 1: But yeah, and you're really tall, and it seems like
- 29:38Speaker 1: in one CNNA was like, you're in flats and y'all
- 29:39Speaker 1: are about the same height, so you can't really wear
- 29:42Speaker 1: I mean to see about the same height.
- 29:43Speaker 2: No, so I'm five eleven, he's six two. Oh yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 2: I'm really all posture though, so I think it looks
- 29:50Speaker 2: like I'm like probably as tall as him. But no,
- 29:52Speaker 2: he's six too, maybe six one and a half.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Okay, Well, when I saw you at that party, you
- 29:56Speaker 1: were a foot taller than me. But maybe but maybe
- 29:58Speaker 1: you had on like super high hea else No, I.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Had heels on. But I also I'm like five to eleven.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah you have to because you're a model. Okay,
- 30:06Speaker 1: now tell me the scoop on the tell all I
- 30:09Speaker 1: heard we have heard the tell all is nuts? Who
- 30:13Speaker 1: is it? That is fighting at the tell All or everybody.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Obviously hello, hello, yeah you know what. Everyone kind of
- 30:25Speaker 2: chimed in and had some words to be honest with you. Okay, yeah,
- 30:30Speaker 2: So we've.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Got Lisa and Daniel, We've got Aviva and Stig, we
- 30:36Speaker 1: have Jovan and annalyin. I'm literally just trying to think
- 30:41Speaker 1: we've got the two of you. Oh my god, Forrest
- 30:45Speaker 1: and Sena. Okay, hold on, like I've got my list
- 30:47Speaker 1: up right here.
- 30:48Speaker 2: We also have guest appearances at the tell All, so
- 30:50Speaker 2: you'll see some guest appearances come with a tell All.
- 30:53Speaker 1: We always have guest appearances and I don't think we
- 30:55Speaker 1: need them. Oh and we also have Laura and you're gone,
- 31:00Speaker 1: m how is he?
- 31:03Speaker 2: Well, he was like coming over the zoom. I don't
- 31:08Speaker 2: love him.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah, did he come across as like, well, he talks
- 31:12Speaker 1: like a sing song robot. He's like, I don't know
- 31:15Speaker 1: what you are thinking.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Are you violent?
- 31:18Speaker 1: I like to watch violence? You're like, wow, Okay, don't
- 31:24Speaker 1: love him.
- 31:25Speaker 2: I definitely got a tacked at the tell All. I
- 31:27Speaker 2: am not telling you who. You have to watch. It's
- 31:28Speaker 2: pretty insane how I got attacked. And there's definitely some like.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Why would you get attacked right, like, who would attack me? Well, no, listen,
- 31:39Speaker 1: if you said something, if your mouth got you in trouble,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I could see it. But I don't see why anybody
- 31:43Speaker 1: would be like coming for your story or anything, because
- 31:46Speaker 1: it all seems pretty straightforward and you're the only thing
- 31:49Speaker 1: you so far that we see you did wrong was
- 31:51Speaker 1: like you acted rude at the bar, but you you
- 31:54Speaker 1: profusely apologize the next day, which we also don't see
- 31:56Speaker 1: a lot on the show. Thank you.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean I think they just didn't like they
- 32:01Speaker 2: don't like me or didn't like me. But I will
- 32:04Speaker 2: tell you it. I got attacked by someone because I
- 32:08Speaker 2: think they just like thought maybe I was a bully
- 32:11Speaker 2: on my season, like on my show. But at the
- 32:14Speaker 2: end of the tell all, that person was like, wow,
- 32:17Speaker 2: I really judged you wrong, like I judge a book
- 32:19Speaker 2: by its cover, and like I should not have judged
- 32:21Speaker 2: you like that, and like we're okay now. But the
- 32:24Speaker 2: tell all was crazy, like crazy, okay, crazy.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I don't know. I think we have maybe one or
- 32:30Speaker 1: two more episodes and then we have the tell I
- 32:32Speaker 1: don't know if it's one, two or three parts. How
- 32:35Speaker 1: they've done it.
- 32:36Speaker 2: So April twenty sixth, and then May third, the two tells.
- 32:41Speaker 1: To tell us, Okay, well, I listen that Lisa and
- 32:45Speaker 1: Daniel thing. I'm just like. I watched pillow Talk last night,
- 32:48Speaker 1: which I don't always get a chance to because it
- 32:50Speaker 1: comes on late, and it was Darcy and Jasmine and Matt.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I was like, whatever his name is, Matt, and they
- 32:57Speaker 1: were so funny talking about Daniel saying he won't go
- 33:01Speaker 1: down on her.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, I saw that.
- 33:03Speaker 1: It was the three of them talking about it was
- 33:07Speaker 1: so funny because Jazz was like, I mean, sorry, Matt,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but he really looks like he'd be good at it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Matt's like, okay, yeah, sure he does. I don't know.
- 33:17Speaker 1: She's like, look at the way he kisses. He looks
- 33:19Speaker 1: like you good at it?
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh my god. Lisa and Daniel kissing in the car NonStop.
- 33:24Speaker 1: It's like, I mean, was.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Kissing a lot too, but like, I don't know.
- 33:28Speaker 1: But this is not like I'm licking your entire face
- 33:31Speaker 1: like it's regular kissing.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Okay, So like I've cleaned up this season compared to last.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Season alas no, because this week with the joke about
- 33:40Speaker 1: the salad dressing, I was like, we don't know.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I okay, Like I purposely tried to have the salad
- 33:46Speaker 2: dressing go in my face like that.
- 33:48Speaker 1: No, I didn't think you did. But then I was like,
- 33:50Speaker 1: don't let her say the obvious joke. Don't let her
- 33:52Speaker 1: do it.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Duh.
- 33:53Speaker 1: And then she did and then she did.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Well like you can't make that shit up. The only
- 33:58Speaker 2: only happens to me, Like only happens to me. I'm like,
- 34:02Speaker 2: there was no scissors, so I'm like.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Well that's it. We said, We're like, why didn't she
- 34:06Speaker 1: just get some scissors?
- 34:08Speaker 2: I don't know, there was none.
- 34:10Speaker 1: The funniest face and the cooking when you were and
- 34:13Speaker 1: he goes, it's good, and you're like, this is terrible.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He was trying to be nice.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's like so cute. That's like things I
- 34:19Speaker 2: like about him, Like he knows it's horrible. He knows
- 34:21Speaker 2: I'm a goof in the kitchen, but he's like my
- 34:23Speaker 2: biggest cheerleader, and that's like cute.
- 34:24Speaker 1: You know, I thought it was nice. Okay, I want
- 34:28Speaker 1: I know you have a time frame here, so I
- 34:30Speaker 1: have a question. Do you see the Miami people, the
- 34:33Speaker 1: silvatorands Lauren and Alexi Yara Jovie. Do you see them ever?
- 34:39Speaker 2: Saturday? I saw Darcy and Stacy and Jovi. I am
- 34:42Speaker 2: Florian and Georgio.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Not Yara.
- 34:46Speaker 2: No. I think she stayed in because of lent or something.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Oh, because of the religion. Okay, Well, Yara is top
- 34:55Speaker 1: of my list, like Courtney, like you like Julia. They
- 35:01Speaker 1: of the people than the show that are just sort
- 35:02Speaker 1: of naturally funny. Yeah, cunning too, yaha. And so I
- 35:07Speaker 1: would like her to leave Jovi. That's mine. That's my dream,
- 35:11Speaker 1: that's my dream. I love her. I want her to
- 35:15Speaker 1: be free of him, That's what I want, you know.
- 35:18Speaker 2: It's funny. I've actually never watched any of their seasons,
- 35:20Speaker 2: so I don't even know. But Jovi's been a really
- 35:24Speaker 2: good soundboard to me, okay, all of this, and he's
- 35:27Speaker 2: been really helpful, so like very level headed, very sweet,
- 35:30Speaker 2: very inclusive. Same with us twins, Like they've been just
- 35:33Speaker 2: so loving to me and like elusive and like, you
- 35:36Speaker 2: definitely need this in this franchise because it's a different animal,
- 35:40Speaker 2: you know. So I love having them here and I'm
- 35:43Speaker 2: able to talk to them and see them and.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Well, I mean as you learned on Hunt for Love,
- 35:47Speaker 1: because I remember when I first interviewed you, you were like, no,
- 35:49Speaker 1: we came there and we thought it was just like
- 35:51Speaker 1: a dating show, and and you quickly realized like a
- 35:54Speaker 1: bunch of these people know each other, Like how that's yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 1: but now you're one of those people.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Crazy to think about it. I never thought in my
- 36:02Speaker 2: life that I'd be like, yeah, I'm a ninety day er.
- 36:05Speaker 1: You are, and I love it because you know, this
- 36:07Speaker 1: is this is my life. As you say, we have
- 36:09Speaker 1: got like s all we do.
- 36:11Speaker 2: I love you, I love your posts, I love seeing you.
- 36:14Speaker 2: You make me happy and.
- 36:15Speaker 1: It's funny you. You can take some shit and that's
- 36:18Speaker 1: what we appreciate about you.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a roller coaster, especially with the people that
- 36:23Speaker 2: DM you and write you. It's like I get a
- 36:25Speaker 2: lot of hate, but I also get a lot of love.
- 36:27Speaker 2: And if I could try and inspire one person with
- 36:30Speaker 2: something in my life with one story I've ever told,
- 36:34Speaker 2: you know, with one past history of me, if I
- 36:37Speaker 2: could better on one person like, then I've done my job.
- 36:40Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, And I think you've been very honest
- 36:42Speaker 1: about you know, your past relationships and things that have
- 36:44Speaker 1: happened in relationship with your parents and the guy that
- 36:47Speaker 1: sold the money and all of that, and so it's
- 36:49Speaker 1: sort of like as we learn about our ninety day people,
- 36:52Speaker 1: we learn more and more about them as the years go.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You're like, wait, I never knew that. So I appreciate
- 36:58Speaker 1: you being honest about everything you've been through. And you know,
- 37:01Speaker 1: people don't have a lot of sympathy for you because
- 37:03Speaker 1: you're a hot model. A hot models have feelings too, right,
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'm a sensitive gangster, Like, Okay, thank you so much, Alisea.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I appreciate you doing this.
- 37:14Speaker 2: You're SOPs to thank you.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Okay, Bye,
