- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beta Tilley and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Hello Everybody, We are scrubbing in.
- 0:15Speaker 2: It is a The Dear Bonya episode. But I did
- 0:17Speaker 2: want to bring something up because we were inundated with
- 0:20Speaker 2: the royal wedding on Monday, we didn't really get to
- 0:25Speaker 2: talk about Love Island, right, And again, this is gonna
- 0:29Speaker 2: be no spoilers because I'm a little bit behind at
- 0:31Speaker 2: this point, but you're behind a couple of days behind
- 0:35Speaker 2: you at this point.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Fan. Oh, oh, I see what you're saying.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yeah, gotcha. Yeah, But I just want to like shout
- 0:43Speaker 2: somebody out on the island that it like it just
- 0:47Speaker 2: is just a sign of a of a a person
- 0:51Speaker 2: that is caring about his hygiene, cares about his health.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Carl, Carl, you wears mouth Tape's.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Mouth taper, And honestly, I was floored because I think
- 1:05Speaker 2: Carl's pretty perfect. And then I saw that he tapes
- 1:09Speaker 2: his mouth shut at night. He's the only one, the
- 1:11Speaker 2: only islander, might I add, consider it of the other
- 1:15Speaker 2: islanders to not snore. He's also combating bad breath, and
- 1:21Speaker 2: he's also combating not combating but uh, trying to help
- 1:27Speaker 2: help himself not get sick with all the germs around.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 2: So I just want to say, yeah, Carl is my
- 1:32Speaker 2: new favorite in the villa.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Okay, you were happy to see him come.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Back in the back room.
- 1:38Speaker 1: By the way, I producer Lo Low agrees, Carl is
- 1:41Speaker 1: a real one.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Carl Is seems like very hygienic and I like him.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, if I was in the villa and
- 1:51Speaker 2: I got in bed and my man tape his mouth shut,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I'd be like, get over here.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Baby, and he did because they're sleeping in the same bed.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I personally liked Karaoke Night. I thought it was hilariously horrible,
- 2:05Speaker 4: but like Charming, you hated it.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So here's the thing. I feel as though the games
- 2:11Speaker 2: in USA are all so horrible, and in UK the
- 2:16Speaker 2: games actually like stir up drama, do you know what
- 2:20Speaker 2: I mean?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Like, normally the games do stirrup drama. In the USA,
- 2:22Speaker 3: they're always.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Eating pot dogs out of a string and jumping in
- 2:28Speaker 2: cream and mind I think they make out with someone different,
- 2:32Speaker 2: I know, but like they I don't know the ones
- 2:34Speaker 2: in the UK like they do. They'll be like who
- 2:36Speaker 2: said this? And It'll be like a quote from somebody
- 2:38Speaker 2: that they said and then the Islanders find out who
- 2:40Speaker 2: said it and they're.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Like, are you kidding me?
- 2:41Speaker 2: You said that? And like or those like posts like
- 2:44Speaker 2: tweets that people share and like oh my god, like
- 2:46Speaker 2: why would they say that? So it like stirs up
- 2:48Speaker 2: a bunch of stuff. Whereas I just feel like the
- 2:51Speaker 2: challenges in USA are like what, I wish they creamed
- 2:54Speaker 2: me in the face, Like I.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Wish they sent more bombshells this season.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I'm so disappointed the lack of like effort, yes, of
- 3:02Speaker 4: trying to separate people or get people other because like, yes,
- 3:06Speaker 4: I like Melanie and.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I want her to I don't like agree agree if.
- 3:11Speaker 4: He's this dishonest with cameras and people around twenty four
- 3:15Speaker 4: to seven, Like, girl, you're not gonna feel safe.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I agree, And you know she you know, Caleb liked her.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I mean yeah, but he didn't make any move to.
- 3:25Speaker 2: He didn't make a move because he was trying to
- 3:27Speaker 2: be respectful of her connection with Sincere.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Well, yeah, should have could have would a bro.
- 3:32Speaker 2: What what I'm saying is that would have been a
- 3:34Speaker 2: much better guy for her than since.
- 3:35Speaker 3: She doesn't want to she didn't like anyone else in
- 3:37Speaker 3: the villa.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Well, she needs to wake up.
- 3:39Speaker 4: But that's why I was like, I wish they'd send
- 3:41Speaker 4: in some bombshells that had She's very attracted to Sincere,
- 3:46Speaker 4: so like someone who like looked like him.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what's so interesting? In past seasons
- 3:52Speaker 2: they send in bombshell after bombshell after bombshell. Like every
- 3:55Speaker 2: day there's a new bombshell romping around. This season, I
- 3:59Speaker 2: felt like it's not nothing. I know, Yeah, it's interesting
- 4:03Speaker 2: maybe because they want you to develop stronger feelings for
- 4:06Speaker 2: like the og people.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Who are you wanting to win the hundred K?
- 4:12Speaker 2: I mean Bryce in Trinity.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I want Melanie and Sincere to win and I want
- 4:16Speaker 3: her to take it all.
- 4:17Speaker 2: But they don't even do that anymore. Oh they don't know.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Well they might. They always be throwing.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Right, maybe they will do it.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I would love if she was the first one to
- 4:26Speaker 3: ever do that.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I guess a nice girl I'd be fine with too.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, please no.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Why, Like we barely have seen them.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Really connect, like you, just like.
- 4:38Speaker 2: My health, Taper is a man to trust, So I'm
- 4:41Speaker 2: going to trust him to win this whole thing.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I mean bryceer Trinity or Melanie and Sincere, but she
- 4:47Speaker 4: keeps the money. I don't want him to get anything,
- 4:49Speaker 4: but I want her to have the opportunity personally Melanie.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 3: And if I'm bad for Kinsey.
- 4:55Speaker 2: People are like, I'm like, what she seems deflated. You're
- 5:00Speaker 2: a sparky and now she's it's diminished.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Her is diminished.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I saw it too, she was getting beaten down.
- 5:07Speaker 3: It's so weird.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Because in my mind, I'm thinking, isn't the whole point
- 5:11Speaker 4: of this show to like try and meet someone that
- 5:13Speaker 4: you have a genuine connection.
- 5:15Speaker 2: With, yea to make They're like shitting on her for.
- 5:19Speaker 4: And then he did her dirty, so she's trying to
- 5:21Speaker 4: find whatever connection she can find.
- 5:23Speaker 3: It's yeah, I don't know. Yeah, it's bugging me.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I hate the think and I'm probably doing this right
- 5:30Speaker 4: now on the podcast. I hate the like psychological think
- 5:33Speaker 4: pieces on social media over a show like Love Island.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I'm like, you're watching a produce show. It's edited, it's.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Like one and a half hours max of a full day,
- 5:43Speaker 4: and you are critiquing these twenty one year olds who
- 5:48Speaker 4: are on a show for your entertainment, and you're doing
- 5:51Speaker 4: a psycho analysis on them.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Somebody I did a Q and A and somebody asked
- 5:55Speaker 2: me if I if I would ever go on a
- 5:56Speaker 2: show like Love Island when I was single, and I
- 5:58Speaker 2: was like, that literally is like I I would hate
- 6:03Speaker 2: that more than anything, like watching the person you like
- 6:08Speaker 2: actively flirt and talk to other people. I'm like, That's
- 6:10Speaker 2: why I always feel like the UK people are so
- 6:12Speaker 2: mature because they all swap every other day and they're
- 6:14Speaker 2: all like, that's cool. I was just making out them yesterday,
- 6:17Speaker 2: But like, you guys love you together like I could never.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Yeah, because when you're able to do that means you
- 6:23Speaker 4: don't like them that much. Like you're just like, oh,
- 6:25Speaker 4: I'm testing the waters. But I'm never not committed, never
- 6:27Speaker 4: been there. I'm not in the deep end, never been there.
- 6:29Speaker 4: And that's why you would have given us incredible TV
- 6:33Speaker 4: if you had gone on reality television.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Never would have been there.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It never was that still root for you to go
- 6:38Speaker 3: on another show just so we can watch it happen.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Maybe not gone on the day. I think Bachelor there
- 6:45Speaker 1: was discussion.
- 6:46Speaker 2: So that one's tough too, because the person that I
- 6:49Speaker 2: like is dating.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I'm not saying it would have been a fun time
- 6:53Speaker 1: for you. But I think you would have done that bachelor.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I think I probably would have been more open too
- 6:59Speaker 2: for some reason. Then Love Island just seems because you're
- 7:02Speaker 2: actually like seeing them make out and like, do you
- 7:05Speaker 2: know what't even words the batchel. I feel like you
- 7:06Speaker 2: didn't necessarily see them making out, you're about it.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Yeah, totally different experiences.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It's equally bad.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but out of side, out of mind, right.
- 7:18Speaker 4: And also not having to wear a bikini twenty four
- 7:21Speaker 4: to seven while it's happening.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Oh that I'd like, yeah, right.
- 7:24Speaker 4: You'd have to change like twenty times a day with
- 7:27Speaker 4: your uti issues.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You'd be like, hold on, I.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Have to go to maybe Like why is Tony in
- 7:34Speaker 3: another storm suit? Did they film on a different day?
- 7:37Speaker 2: I fact so many swim CITs because anytime I get
- 7:41Speaker 2: in the water, I have to change my bathing suit bottom.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Like I will not sit in a wet bathing suit
- 7:44Speaker 2: bottom for more than like ten minutes. So I I
- 7:49Speaker 2: got checked in Cobbo. When we arrived, they opened my
- 7:51Speaker 2: bag and like my bathing suit bag was like this big,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and the kids were like, why do you bring so
- 7:55Speaker 2: many men in like different time?
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, a different time.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'd have to be changing a lot, But
- 8:06Speaker 2: they don't seem to be getting in the water much,
- 8:08Speaker 2: so I think i'd be fine in the UTI department.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, maybe.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Hard to say, or just say. It seems sweaty.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Though, sweaty and like, I don't know, sometimes a stinky.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Sometimes a swimsuit.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Without getting in the water makes me un like wearing
- 8:24Speaker 4: a swimsuit without day I know.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Hell, and some swimsuits, like from your sweat change color.
- 8:32Speaker 2: So you'd have like badge sweat on national television. That
- 8:35Speaker 2: is disgusting. It's just not what you want, not what
- 8:39Speaker 2: you want.
- 8:40Speaker 3: But you would represent a lot of women.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I'd give the women what they want, I'd say, I'd
- 8:44Speaker 2: give a little super scene badge sweat. I'd be changing
- 8:47Speaker 2: my bottom.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Two turns gluten free whoever is making you breakfast?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, i'd represent with the cellulae. I'd be
- 8:57Speaker 2: proud walking around anyway.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Well, shall we get to some Dear Bonya?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, this is from NICKI.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm listening to the Dear Bonnia episode about the scrubber
- 9:09Speaker 1: whose husband originally said he could see himself having kids
- 9:12Speaker 1: even though she knew she definitely wanted them, and now
- 9:15Speaker 1: he's kind of changed his mind. Well, my husband and
- 9:17Speaker 1: I were very clear on not wanting kids. We were
- 9:21Speaker 1: dating and we got engaged. Now I have changed my mind.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I've been feeling the pull to have just one child.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I've talked to him about this, and rightful, Lisa, He's like,
- 9:30Speaker 1: that is not the premise under which we got married.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I feel like I remember Tanya saying at some point
- 9:36Speaker 1: Robbie wasn't sold and having more children. Were there any
- 9:38Speaker 1: productive conversations around this topic. How did you guys navigate this?
- 9:43Speaker 5: Help?
- 9:44Speaker 3: This is tough?
- 9:46Speaker 2: Yeah? Uh So in our situation, Robbie was not pro
- 9:52Speaker 2: or anti. He never said I do not want more kids,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and he never said I want more kids. He was
- 9:56Speaker 2: kind of in the middle on it. And and to
- 10:00Speaker 2: be honest, it was going to be a deal breaker
- 10:04Speaker 2: for me at some point if he ultimately said, like,
- 10:06Speaker 2: I don't want to have any more kids. But I
- 10:09Speaker 2: think what really shifted is, and it's gonna sound so silly,
- 10:14Speaker 2: but when we got our dog, uh and we got
- 10:17Speaker 2: the dog together, so when he saw me how I
- 10:20Speaker 2: cared for Sonny and kind of how I was as
- 10:22Speaker 2: a partner in him to a dog parent to Sonny,
- 10:26Speaker 2: he was like, I know you're going to be an
- 10:29Speaker 2: amazing partner and I'm so excited to have kids with you.
- 10:32Speaker 2: So like that was like a big turning point. And
- 10:34Speaker 2: I know, again it sounds silly cause it's a dog,
- 10:36Speaker 2: but like it shifted things for him and like now
- 10:38Speaker 2: he's so excited and like I wann't say more excited
- 10:43Speaker 2: than I am about all of it, but like he's
- 10:45Speaker 2: just as excited as I am. And I think it
- 10:47Speaker 2: was a process to get there.
- 10:49Speaker 3: But y'all had that conversation of like, we're not getting
- 10:52Speaker 3: married if you're one hundred percent no on this topic. Yes,
- 10:55Speaker 3: And I think her situation is that they did say
- 10:59Speaker 3: they both said no, and then they got married, right.
- 11:01Speaker 4: And the thing about having kids, it's not like, oh
- 11:05Speaker 4: it you only have a certain amount of time and
- 11:07Speaker 4: then it's over. It's like when you have a kid.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And it's also like you can't like that kids you're
- 11:16Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Even if she's like, well
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'll take more responsibility, Like I don't think you can
- 11:20Speaker 2: really do that.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I know, And you don't want to have a child
- 11:23Speaker 4: with someone who doesn't and it's his fault for not
- 11:26Speaker 4: wanting them, Like he was very clear about his expectations.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Therapy. I think this is therapy right easton y'all. I mean,
- 11:34Speaker 3: if this happened to y'all because you and Ellison have
- 11:36Speaker 3: had these conversations.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Yes, we we have these conversations frequently. We do a
- 11:40Speaker 6: lot of chickens on that because it's such a major
- 11:42Speaker 6: like thing.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's a life changing decision.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, And so I always I'm like, you know,
- 11:51Speaker 6: if you're changing your mind on this, like like I
- 11:53Speaker 6: want we both want each other to feel comfortable like
- 11:56Speaker 6: bringing it up, and and also don't want to just
- 11:58Speaker 6: be blindsided about anything. And so we talked about a
- 12:01Speaker 6: lot and so far we're in alignment. Yeah, but I
- 12:05Speaker 6: think it's important to you know, be honest, and if
- 12:09Speaker 6: one of our minds were to change, then you know,
- 12:12Speaker 6: that's the relationship would probably end.
- 12:14Speaker 2: But that's what I'm saying. I feel like if one
- 12:16Speaker 2: person is like, adamantly no, I do not want kids,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and the other one says, I adamantly want a kid,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I do think that ends in divorce.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I mean, if you can't get to a place of
- 12:25Speaker 4: trying to find a point of like you know, come
- 12:32Speaker 4: seeing like, Okay, why why do you not want them?
- 12:35Speaker 3: Is it? Is it the taking care?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Like where is the not wanting them from?
- 12:39Speaker 4: But I agree, I'm thinking like, but also for her
- 12:42Speaker 4: if she wants in this lifetime to have a child,
- 12:45Speaker 4: and that that's also a life changing decision to not
- 12:47Speaker 4: have one when you want a.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Kid, Yeah, there's still a feeling.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Of wanting to be a mom if you if you're
- 12:53Speaker 4: able to do that. So yeah, I think this might
- 12:59Speaker 4: be a top topic for.
- 13:00Speaker 2: A professional one hundred percent.
- 13:02Speaker 3: But I'm this is really tough.
- 13:05Speaker 2: But I also think that like I don't know how
- 13:09Speaker 2: long it's been since she told him all of this,
- 13:11Speaker 2: but I do think there is like you should allow
- 13:13Speaker 2: some time for him to maybe, like again, talk to somebody,
- 13:16Speaker 2: really figure out why he doesn't. Maybe maybe it has
- 13:19Speaker 2: something to do with like he doesn't want to repeat
- 13:21Speaker 2: the same things that happened to him when he was
- 13:23Speaker 2: a kid, and like, you know, maybe the therapist can
- 13:25Speaker 2: break through and get him to realize that he can
- 13:27Speaker 2: like rewrite the story or whatever. So I would give him,
- 13:30Speaker 2: like some time. I feel like if I gave Robby
- 13:32Speaker 2: an ultimatum and said, like I need you to tell
- 13:33Speaker 2: me yes or no. Now, I think it would have
- 13:36Speaker 2: been bad.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think that the truth is that if
- 13:40Speaker 4: you both can't come to a decision where y'all meet
- 13:44Speaker 4: and you stay in this relationship, someone's going to be
- 13:46Speaker 4: resentful and unhappy forever, no matter which disrection you go.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And unfortunately, as women, we do have biological clocks. So
- 13:52Speaker 2: it's like, I think, give him time, but also be
- 13:55Speaker 2: respectful of like your time and your biological clock.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 4: I would talk to a couple therapists and try to
- 14:00Speaker 4: like see where you can meet, and then I think
- 14:02Speaker 4: you have to kind.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Of make decisions based on that. Yeah, but I'm really
- 14:07Speaker 3: sorry you're going through this. This is really challenging and
- 14:09Speaker 3: just like a life.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Child, I mean a thing that you a challenge that
- 14:14Speaker 4: you have in relationships in life and like you changing
- 14:17Speaker 4: and your partner change, it's.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Just a life bad Yeah, but we love you.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Good luck, Nikki, Yeah, good luck Nikki.
- 14:26Speaker 4: We're going to take a break and we will be
- 14:28Speaker 4: back with a work crush.
- 14:41Speaker 2: We're back, We're back.
- 14:50Speaker 4: We have a work crush that someone needs advice on Mark.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Well, she says, I'm thirty two and I've pretty much
- 14:56Speaker 1: given up on dating after years of disappointment. I rarely
- 14:59Speaker 1: like anyone, but I recently met a coworker who checks
- 15:01Speaker 1: every box for me. He's thirty five, just got out
- 15:04Speaker 1: of a three year relationship about three months ago. We've
- 15:07Speaker 1: been grabbing coffee and lunch. He met my friends at
- 15:09Speaker 1: a backyard barbecue. He recently invited me to an all
- 15:12Speaker 1: day sporting event. We both took PTO and spent nearly
- 15:16Speaker 1: eighteen hours together. We didn't tell anyone at work we
- 15:19Speaker 1: were going together, and at one point he jokingly called
- 15:21Speaker 1: it our date, but when the day ended, he gave
- 15:24Speaker 1: me a very platonic hug. Since then, he's been flirty
- 15:26Speaker 1: but avoids physical touch. I know his breakup was hard.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't want to push him, but the lack of
- 15:30Speaker 1: clarity is making me anxious because this is the first
- 15:33Speaker 1: guy I've genuinely liked in years. Do you think it
- 15:35Speaker 1: was a date? Should I say something or just let
- 15:37Speaker 1: it play out? And how do I stop getting so
- 15:39Speaker 1: attached when I don't even know where we stand?
- 15:43Speaker 2: Tough?
- 15:43Speaker 3: Don't ask me, Becca, I mean I was just with
- 15:49Speaker 3: the wrong people gender.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like I never kno cared, so I really have
- 15:58Speaker 2: no advice to give.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I think you just let it play out. It sounds
- 16:02Speaker 3: like it could be it could go either way.
- 16:05Speaker 4: I think your best and I think a lot of
- 16:08Speaker 4: people are against playing it cool, But I think playing
- 16:11Speaker 4: it cool and living your life not revolved around centering
- 16:15Speaker 4: this guy or like what his intentions are is what
- 16:18Speaker 4: will be the most attractive thing if he's interested in you.
- 16:21Speaker 4: So I think you have your you know, moments together
- 16:26Speaker 4: and flirt back and make it playful, but don't have
- 16:29Speaker 4: like a.
- 16:30Speaker 3: What is this like where are we type of conversation.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I don't think you need to have that.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I think he wants that try to that's so embarrassing.
- 16:41Speaker 1: He invited her to an eight and hour sporting event.
- 16:43Speaker 1: She could now invite him to something whatever it may be.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be an all day thing, but
- 16:48Speaker 1: it could be. And then you make more jokes about
- 16:50Speaker 1: our date and not telling anyone, And I think it's
- 16:52Speaker 1: cute and I think there's progress there. I think you
- 16:54Speaker 1: don't have to wait for him to make the next move.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You can make the next move.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I think you can invite him to something playful and
- 17:00Speaker 4: fun and like cute. That's like not it doesn't put
- 17:03Speaker 4: pressure on him that it feels like a date, but
- 17:05Speaker 4: could just be it could be interpreted either way like
- 17:07Speaker 4: what he did. And I also think that three years
- 17:10Speaker 4: three months after a three year breakup is not a
- 17:13Speaker 4: long time. And I don't want you to be a
- 17:15Speaker 4: rebound for this guy, So I personally would just keep
- 17:19Speaker 4: it casual. I personally would not try to get into
- 17:22Speaker 4: a relationship with someone who was that fresh out of
- 17:26Speaker 4: a breakup.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Cash crazy, you're crazy like the wind.
- 17:34Speaker 4: I don't think you say anything, don't ask was that
- 17:36Speaker 4: a date? Or just be like I had so much
- 17:38Speaker 4: fun when we went to the game together?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Or should we go? Should we go? What do people
- 17:43Speaker 3: do bowling? I don't know.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I think this event is going on, we should go?
- 17:52Speaker 3: That feels deity.
- 17:54Speaker 4: We're trying to keep it more like, doesn't need to
- 17:57Speaker 4: be put it doesn't need to feel pressured of him
- 18:02Speaker 4: to go, Oh my gosh, she is she going to
- 18:04Speaker 4: think this is a date?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Whereas if you just invite him to an sporting event
- 18:07Speaker 4: or a summer summertime concert or something a park hang or.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Somebody summertime sorais do you guys have in your neighborhood?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Well, there's always events creative.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Plus, her friend group is now fair game because he's
- 18:19Speaker 1: met them all at a barbecue. There could be another barbecue.
- 18:21Speaker 1: There could be a we're all gathering at someone Sol's
- 18:24Speaker 1: house to watch the World Cup final. I don't know.
- 18:26Speaker 1: There could be something.
- 18:26Speaker 3: You're going to Chili's for a triple Dipper.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Hated being around other people when I was newly dating somebody.
- 18:33Speaker 1: It's so awk, You're not newly dating in this situation.
- 18:36Speaker 3: No, they're just friends. They're trying to become.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, find excuses to spend time with him. That's all
- 18:42Speaker 1: you can do at this point. Yeah, and then you.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Should plan a group to hang with your friends and
- 18:47Speaker 4: then be like, hey, I'm planning this with my work crush.
- 18:50Speaker 3: No, no, no, tell him, Hey, I'm planning We're doing
- 18:52Speaker 3: a park hang this day.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Would you you know everyone said to invite you if
- 18:56Speaker 4: you want to come.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Everyone loved you.
- 18:58Speaker 1: That's cute and a couple of mentory.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I love that.
- 19:01Speaker 6: I like a group hang where it's easy to pair off,
- 19:04Speaker 6: like like we're all going miniature golfing.
- 19:07Speaker 3: David Busters, I hated you said you.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Didn't have advice, So I think this is this is
- 19:16Speaker 4: why why you didn't have advice.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I hated group hangs. Let me get to know you
- 19:23Speaker 2: before you invite me around a bunch of group of people.
- 19:26Speaker 3: When I like you, they've already done that.

- 19:55Speaker 6: who may not have listened to the episode, someone who
- 20:04Speaker 6: skimmed it to write the description and then maybe up
- 20:07Speaker 6: lit it.
