- 0:25Speaker 4: Do me up, dang, can.
- 0:26Speaker 1: You win men against?
- 0:27Speaker 5: You want frank me down dot com to come to poet.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It comes to look is it just I'm gonna do
- 0:38Speaker 1: it begin, I'm gonna go on the way you pill Vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, I'm listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you.
- 0:52Speaker 4: We are thirteen days of way from Christmas. That basically
- 0:58Speaker 4: puts us what the twenty days away from a new year.
- 1:03Speaker 4: As twenty twenty four wines down and sports still seems
- 1:09Speaker 4: to dominate, There's something that happens every week in the
- 1:13Speaker 4: great landscape of athletics that continue to keep the media
- 1:20Speaker 4: cycle going. Trust me, everybody, the producers on all these networks,
- 1:26Speaker 4: they go to sleep on a Monday night or Tuesday
- 1:29Speaker 4: afternoon and they think, man, what am I going to
- 1:32Speaker 4: report on tomorrow? Take a two hour nap, and the
- 1:37Speaker 4: world will explode. You just think it's not going to
- 1:40Speaker 4: be anything to talk about this week in itself. First
- 1:46Speaker 4: of all, this Thursday night, so the Rams are taking
- 1:49Speaker 4: on the forty nine Ers, another great divisional game in
- 1:53Speaker 4: which you guys that like to gamble have to add
- 1:56Speaker 4: in the factor that the forty nine ers are desperate,
- 2:00Speaker 4: very desperate. This is one of those games, like I
- 2:02Speaker 4: told you Monday with the Bengals and the Cowboys, that
- 2:07Speaker 4: is going to be do or die. Forty nine Ers
- 2:10Speaker 4: lose this game and they basically can start getting ready
- 2:15Speaker 4: for the draft. It's just getting that way now with
- 2:20Speaker 4: four or five games left on the slate, and then
- 2:23Speaker 4: we're gonna roll around until Saturday Day. Got some big
- 2:27Speaker 4: things going on here in Atlanta. You got the Celebration Bowl,
- 2:31Speaker 4: Jackson State, South Carolina State. Wait a couple of hours,
- 2:35Speaker 4: you get to salute the country with Navy versus Army,
- 2:41Speaker 4: two teams that have done great this year, and any
- 2:45Speaker 4: wait a couple more hours, and then the Heisman Trophy
- 2:49Speaker 4: will give it out. And one of the first times
- 2:52Speaker 4: that the first second slot probably will not be a
- 2:55Speaker 4: quarterback in a long time since we had Anne quarterback
- 3:01Speaker 4: in one of those one or two seats. This year
- 3:04Speaker 4: is going to be a receiver, slash corner and a
- 3:08Speaker 4: running back that just doesn't get a lot of respect outside,
- 3:13Speaker 4: Like they say, he's a dark horse young kid from
- 3:17Speaker 4: Boise State. But you got a factor in at Boise
- 3:20Speaker 4: State has a buye in the first college football playoffs
- 3:23Speaker 4: and the young man has twenty four hundred yards. So
- 3:27Speaker 4: all you Travis Hunter lovers, I would bet my money
- 3:31Speaker 4: with Travis, but don't be that's a lot of yardage
- 3:34Speaker 4: and a highly ranked team. You know, wins do count.
- 3:39Speaker 4: And this young man performed gent all season long. But
- 3:44Speaker 4: a great weekend of sports ahead of us. Jay Z.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Go ahead on and say what your park?
- 3:52Speaker 4: Go ahead? Did everybody get them to say go ahead?
- 3:55Speaker 4: We'll start with the youngest, which became ANCHI, jay Z
- 3:59Speaker 4: go ahead.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Uh, well we'll see.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Well, I mean, we'll seem gonna at least forty five seconds.
- 4:08Speaker 1: That's that's a long time. You already had twelve thirty
- 4:11Speaker 1: three more seconds. We'll see what happens.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Uh, there needs to be evidence with these kind of allegations,
- 4:21Speaker 6: I always say, and so we'll just have to wait.
- 4:25Speaker 6: I reserve any judgment until it's all laid out. How
- 4:31Speaker 6: much my time I got left. Yeah, about nine seconds,
- 4:35Speaker 6: and that is all I have to say about that.
- 4:40Speaker 6: You used to pass the class bad Give me forty
- 4:46Speaker 6: five seconds.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Jay Z.
- 4:47Speaker 7: I'm hoping that the allegations are not true because once
- 4:50Speaker 7: again he is one of our you know, icons and
- 4:55Speaker 7: rap music in this music industry were hoping that he
- 4:58Speaker 7: could get through this, especially with him with having a family.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm alone with Greg.
- 5:04Speaker 7: We just had to wait till the allegations come out,
- 5:06Speaker 7: court cases, everything else. I mean, I'm not shot with
- 5:12Speaker 7: everything that's coming on coming out since the Diddy and
- 5:17Speaker 7: from there, and there's been rumors through the years that
- 5:20Speaker 7: that what people say, and it's all allegations as we
- 5:24Speaker 7: know of at this moment.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So we'll just have to sit back and wait and
- 5:28Speaker 1: go from there. But I'm still gonna be playing the
- 5:29Speaker 1: over Big Kenny forty five seconds.
- 5:36Speaker 8: I know that in cases like this like this, I
- 5:42Speaker 8: do my best to reserve judgment because I wasn't fair.
- 5:45Speaker 8: But I do know that the Commissioner of the NFL
- 5:49Speaker 8: has released the satman say he's staying by jay Z.
- 5:52Speaker 8: And for the process that I know the NFL process
- 5:57Speaker 8: to have been in criminal cases, They are very extensive
- 6:01Speaker 8: with their background checks and their ability to investigate people
- 6:05Speaker 8: who are under scrutiny. Somebody that they've partnered with in
- 6:08Speaker 8: a huge business way has been accused of something not
- 6:13Speaker 8: just criminal, but heinously criminal, sexually violating a minor. Jay
- 6:19Speaker 8: Z has asked that his accuser be named. I'm waiting
- 6:23Speaker 8: on that yet to happen officially, but I imagine that
- 6:27Speaker 8: before a Roger Goodell would step forward and say he's
- 6:30Speaker 8: a great partner and we will stand by him.
- 6:33Speaker 1: He's got some foundation on which to make that judgment.
- 6:37Speaker 8: I'm not just gonna say I'm a whole down sports
- 6:40Speaker 8: jock and I don't know something.
- 6:42Speaker 1: So sports shot forty five seconds.
- 6:47Speaker 4: It's very interesting that the NFL institution that I love,
- 6:51Speaker 4: embrace and bled for finally wants to actually stand by someone.
- 6:59Speaker 4: For decades, Aids a player allegation got him suspended, black balled,
- 7:05Speaker 4: washed out, You told the injury and pieces, and just
- 7:09Speaker 4: for spanking his kid, whether you believed it or not
- 7:11Speaker 4: or didn't like it, that he couldn't play basically anymore
- 7:14Speaker 4: that year, Ray Roddy said his girlfriend at that time,
- 7:17Speaker 4: who's now his wife and two kids deeper and you
- 7:20Speaker 4: basically never let him touch the field again. We see
- 7:23Speaker 4: guys constantly being suspended and left out the dry off
- 7:29Speaker 4: of allegations. But when your big baby, the Super Bowl
- 7:35Speaker 4: is in question, you protected with the shield. And that
- 7:40Speaker 4: is the most interesting part for a person that's not
- 7:43Speaker 4: actually on the field. Now we're talking about JAYC. We're
- 7:48Speaker 4: talking about a lot of people. If I asked these
- 7:50Speaker 4: three guys on the stage, they would lie and try
- 7:53Speaker 4: to tell me, yes, they remember everybody they slept with.
- 7:58Speaker 1: They can't.
- 8:00Speaker 4: They might remember once the young lady walked in the
- 8:02Speaker 4: room and told them their name. So I'm not saying
- 8:10Speaker 4: what jay Z did and didn't do. I think that
- 8:13Speaker 4: a lot of things shouldn't even be aired until Wait,
- 8:17Speaker 4: we get around to Joe Burrow in the nine one
- 8:19Speaker 4: one call?
- 8:20Speaker 1: When did we start doing that? Wow?
- 8:23Speaker 4: Talking about who made the nine one one call? Let's
- 8:26Speaker 4: get where are we on this? I don't know, I
- 8:29Speaker 4: don't know where we are in a society. We got this.
- 8:33Speaker 4: We like these people, so let's protect them. We don't
- 8:38Speaker 4: like these people, so let's condemn them. But when did
- 8:43Speaker 4: we start releasing who made the nine to one one call?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Unless it was the person that might have been murdered.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Part of the evidence to the public in a case
- 8:55Speaker 4: that's open. But we get back to the sheep. We'll
- 9:00Speaker 4: get the jail burrow a little later. We we we
- 9:02Speaker 4: talk about jay Z. It's a lot of controversy surrounding
- 9:05Speaker 4: jay Z. Jay Z is a confessed criminal that never
- 9:11Speaker 4: got caught. His bolstering is centered around that I used
- 9:17Speaker 4: to cook it by the tree.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Y'all remember the song. Don't try to act like you
- 9:21Speaker 4: all of a sudden you it wasn't a Now, oh,
- 9:24Speaker 4: I'm sorry. You're not supposed to use rap lyrics as evident.
- 9:30Speaker 4: But you can live him as a credential for progress though, right, yeah, yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 4: you can definitely profit. You can profit. You can profit,
- 9:38Speaker 4: but because you can profit from them, because this this this, this,
- 9:42Speaker 4: I'm standing on this on business. This is my real life.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I tell you every day, every word I speak, I'm
- 9:49Speaker 4: coming from the mud. Then people go, hey, so you
- 9:51Speaker 4: say you did shoot black.
- 9:53Speaker 8: Tony to be like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Now, it's just entertainment.
- 9:57Speaker 8: But black Tony actually did he actually did. Now, now
- 10:02Speaker 8: I'm saying that's not the entertainment part. The part where
- 10:04Speaker 8: you say you did it. Some people say they actually
- 10:07Speaker 8: saw you there. But now you see the hypocrisy. I'm
- 10:10Speaker 8: talking about what we have seen NFL players be handled
- 10:17Speaker 8: in a way without any kind of actual rule of law.
- 10:24Speaker 8: And they have gone on record to tell you basically,
- 10:26Speaker 8: we don't really go by what the government say. The
- 10:30Speaker 8: government led him.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Off on the but we.
- 10:35Speaker 8: We have a different standard. You made us look bad,
- 10:38Speaker 8: so now here's here's a different thing. Also, the NFL
- 10:43Speaker 8: has doubled down in their support not just for jay Z,
- 10:46Speaker 8: but the jay Z camp. Beyonce's performing halftime, calling it
- 10:51Speaker 8: Cowboy Carter Christmas or something for Houston and Baltimore, and
- 10:56Speaker 8: they're giving her an extra five minutes of halftime to perform.
- 11:02Speaker 8: So not only you know, not only are we protecting
- 11:05Speaker 8: the big thing, the big baby with the shield, but
- 11:08Speaker 8: everything leading up to it, that includes jay Z.
- 11:11Speaker 1: That's our another NOD support.
- 11:13Speaker 4: In my opinion, Well, to me, I have to stand
- 11:15Speaker 4: by the Bee High because she's a separate entity by herself.
- 11:19Speaker 1: She's a whole planet.
- 11:20Speaker 8: Before he came into her, before he came into her orbit,
- 11:24Speaker 8: she was already the Beyonce already, right, okay, rings, yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just stuff flying. Yeah, the whole you know,
- 11:35Speaker 1: possible life. Most like, I can't really tell you ain't
- 11:37Speaker 1: gonna have enough fuel to get there.
- 11:39Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, so you can't tell if nothing really lived there,
- 11:41Speaker 8: but it saw some water was frozen on a microscope.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so I get it.
- 11:47Speaker 4: So I'm just we're talking more about it, and I'm
- 11:50Speaker 4: not against jay Z. I'm talking about where has all this?
- 11:54Speaker 4: We'll wait and see been for the actual guys that's
- 11:58Speaker 4: on the field.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Jay Z.
- 12:02Speaker 8: He he affiliated, he ain't a member. You see what
- 12:05Speaker 8: I'm saying. Affiliated getting a little leeway. Yeah, I thought
- 12:09Speaker 8: the song got more credit than the cousin no affiliation.
- 12:12Speaker 4: I my son could get judged harder because you you
- 12:15Speaker 4: would raised under the code you know, cousin.
- 12:18Speaker 1: You cousin got my brother raised and may no tell
- 12:20Speaker 1: him what he learning over there?
- 12:21Speaker 4: Who would be the Sports Jock Show right afternoon man
- 12:25Speaker 4: shot some patron.
- 12:26Speaker 9: Now she and the song, I ain't talking about the
- 12:28Speaker 9: two three mommy and a song like the Homie two
- 12:30Speaker 9: three short and shame to make no difference in a
- 12:33Speaker 9: ball in the scene.
- 12:35Speaker 10: Johe boy, Wayne Board of the Sports Josh Show with
- 12:38Speaker 10: Wayne Dan videos.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Oh they gonna go home bought returning military vets. They've
- 12:45Speaker 5: served our country at home and lebron. They've slept in tanks,

- 13:46Speaker 1: to get inside each other's mind.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Walk a mile in my shoes, Walk a mile in
- 13:51Speaker 3: my shoes, Walk a mile in my shoes.
- 13:54Speaker 11: We've all felt left out, and for some that feeling
- 13:57Speaker 11: lasts more than a moment. We can show change that
- 14:00Speaker 11: learn how it belonging begins with us dot org, brought
- 14:03Speaker 11: to you by the AD Council.
- 14:06Speaker 12: All the ound. I never realized that I'd be taking
- 14:13Speaker 12: care of a two year old and a nine year
- 14:15Speaker 12: old on my own. I think men can be a
- 14:17Speaker 12: little stubborn sometimes where pride gets in the way and
- 14:21Speaker 12: they may want the help, they may not know how
- 14:23Speaker 12: to ask. With my traditions, with the family support in line,
- 14:28Speaker 12: and just with my mind frame, I was able to
- 14:31Speaker 12: turn a negative into a positive. I knew I needed
- 14:35Speaker 12: more tools in my toolbox to take care of these
- 14:37Speaker 12: little girls that just lost their mother. It's time for
- 14:41Speaker 12: me to be that father that I knew I could be.
- 14:43Speaker 12: I think just being that good role model as well,
- 14:46Speaker 12: that model's good behavior in front of them, going to
- 14:49Speaker 12: work every day, coming home and being able to put
- 14:52Speaker 12: on that smile. The biggest reward about being a dad
- 14:56Speaker 12: is sitting back and watching your.
- 14:58Speaker 13: Kids be Happy, Never stop being in bad. That's dedication.
- 15:03Speaker 13: Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov. Brought to you
- 15:06Speaker 13: by the US Department of Health and Human Services and
- 15:08Speaker 13: the AD Council.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 15:17Speaker 5: The Jock of the Day is sponsored by Mattress Heroes
- 15:19Speaker 5: USA dot com The sleep you deserve at.
- 15:21Speaker 1: A price you can afford.
- 15:23Speaker 5: No no, no, no no, It's time to present the
- 15:26Speaker 5: Jock of the Day on the Sports Joctions.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Taken it to a completely different level.
- 15:30Speaker 5: This year where we highlight an appolete that has taken
- 15:33Speaker 5: their game to the next levels.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Up Louder.
- 15:48Speaker 9: Cut Joy, Got cut Joy Cut Joy, Got cut Joy Cut,
- 15:55Speaker 9: Junie got.
- 15:57Speaker 14: Cut June l O.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Shall I'm the Sportshock
- 16:03Speaker 4: Wing Candy.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Good morning to you.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Thursday Night Football Rams forty nine ers to kick off
- 16:09Speaker 4: this week.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Army Navy. I always tell the story about the pride.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I didn't know I was going to feel a couple
- 16:18Speaker 4: of years ago when I got to call an Army
- 16:20Speaker 4: Georgia State game, but it really was a thing to
- 16:24Speaker 4: be able to call one of the arms services game.
- 16:27Speaker 4: That game is Saturday at three, Celebration Bowls, a lot
- 16:30Speaker 4: of excuse me football still to play the Heisman Trophy
- 16:34Speaker 4: Saturday night. Little Travis Hunter, homegrown product here in Atlanta,
- 16:41Speaker 4: be able to win the Heisman. We shall see a
- 16:46Speaker 4: couple of days here, thirteen days before Christmas, and we
- 16:51Speaker 4: have just been gifted all kinds of sports news. We
- 16:55Speaker 4: were talking about jac the situation with the inn fil
- 16:58Speaker 4: I think the whole panel, but that's on a lot
- 17:01Speaker 4: of issues. I think we have grown as a unit
- 17:04Speaker 4: to feel like the idea of innocent to proven guilty
- 17:10Speaker 4: has been eradicated, especially when it comes to notable, high
- 17:17Speaker 4: profile people. It seems to be if you like the
- 17:22Speaker 4: person or society likes him, they let it be innocent
- 17:25Speaker 4: until proven guilty. When they don't, they want to crush him.
- 17:31Speaker 4: They want to bury him. John Diddy Coombs might as
- 17:36Speaker 4: well just go check himself into a prison. In most
- 17:40Speaker 4: people's eyes, they want to take the music off the air.
- 17:43Speaker 4: They don't want you to play it at a party.
- 17:47Speaker 4: They don't want you to wear the shirt or bring
- 17:49Speaker 4: up the name. Which was funny even the other night
- 17:52Speaker 4: with Charles Barking and the Crew, when Kenny Smith was
- 17:55Speaker 4: trying to make a reference at the student, and all
- 18:01Speaker 4: Shaquille O'Neill could do was walk off to get his laugh.
- 18:05Speaker 4: You know, I'm quite sure him and Jay go way back,
- 18:07Speaker 4: but he had to walk off and get behind the sign.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Which is funny because you do know the cameras are mobile,
- 18:15Speaker 4: shock right, they have mobile cameras. They don't just have
- 18:18Speaker 4: a But when he started, it was just one camera
- 18:21Speaker 4: sitting there like this, but now the cameraman following him.
- 18:25Speaker 4: It was a funny joke that Charles Barkley told Ken.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I don't know if you want to reference jay Z
- 18:31Speaker 4: at this time as any kind of clout, and I
- 18:36Speaker 4: hope jay Z it definitely sees his day. I'm not
- 18:40Speaker 4: against the NFL standing so if any of you took that,
- 18:44Speaker 4: mind becomes how many times we've come to you on
- 18:47Speaker 4: air where somebody do something today the NFL has them
- 18:52Speaker 4: suspended tomorrow. And we have had literal cases where people
- 18:59Speaker 4: went to Core, as I said with Ray Rice, come
- 19:05Speaker 4: out with just a misdemeanor and.
- 19:06Speaker 1: One you know what, the NFL, Billy.
- 19:10Speaker 8: Holliday, ain't nobody business but me and my man, don't worry.
- 19:14Speaker 8: Don't worry about it, and the NFL like.
- 19:20Speaker 4: That's the United States judicial system that ain't got nothing to.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Do with us.
- 19:25Speaker 4: As Greg referred to, if you make us look bad,
- 19:28Speaker 4: then we're gonna treat you based on how you treat
- 19:31Speaker 4: jay Z. Right now, it's still on board to be
- 19:33Speaker 4: part of what the plans are for the Super Bowl
- 19:37Speaker 4: down in New Orleans where Kendrick Lamar and crew will
- 19:42Speaker 4: perform at halftime. But just an interesting story with jay Z.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Now there are two jay Z's, and remember this case
- 19:50Speaker 4: is twenty years old. There is pre Beyonce and then there's.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Post Beyonce.
- 20:00Speaker 4: The jez eliminate this young lady is talking about is
- 20:06Speaker 4: twenty years ago. The Rockefeller jay Z right, dang dash.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Now put that one in your head and then take
- 20:12Speaker 4: the allegations.
- 20:16Speaker 1: It's not too far fetched at that point.
- 20:18Speaker 4: It's not too far fetish at that point the Rockefeller.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Like I said, Rockefeller, I'm not throwing nothing on jay Z.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I'm saying, listen, the pre and post I'm talking about
- 20:28Speaker 4: the pastor before Big Kenny cousin who's now pastor mc
- 20:34Speaker 4: kenny know another side of.
- 20:36Speaker 1: It, and that's still my cousin. I'm saying that. But
- 20:39Speaker 1: for the grace you see what I'm saying that's still
- 20:42Speaker 1: my cousin. I know it's in there.
- 20:45Speaker 4: I know it's in there, I know what, I know
- 20:47Speaker 4: what locks to unlocking, what buttons to push to unlock
- 20:52Speaker 4: that person, And it's always going to be dormant.
- 20:55Speaker 1: That's the thing about change.
- 20:56Speaker 8: People always assume that when you decide to make a
- 20:59Speaker 8: check for the better, who you used to be just
- 21:03Speaker 8: just dissipates and goes off, And no, that person is
- 21:07Speaker 8: still in there. You just learned to manage whatever it
- 21:09Speaker 8: is that made you behave in those ways. So when
- 21:13Speaker 8: it comes to this, I think it's interesting that sometimes
- 21:17Speaker 8: the NFL seems like it's too powerful to be held accountable.
- 21:24Speaker 8: When we throw people's lives on tracks and just make
- 21:28Speaker 8: it hard for them to continue playing the game. We
- 21:32Speaker 8: do it because it was necessary. And then when we
- 21:35Speaker 8: back somebody to protect our pockets, we do it because
- 21:38Speaker 8: you know, there's.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I don't have to answer.
- 21:43Speaker 8: We don't have to answer those questions, and so who
- 21:46Speaker 8: am I accountable to.
- 21:48Speaker 1: The other thirty one owners and Congress? And Congress? We
- 21:56Speaker 1: we have a super pack quit so they don't ask a.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Lot of questions, but you may, and the owners tell
- 22:01Speaker 4: us what to say, so they not asking wrote the
- 22:04Speaker 4: script point those sports job is two different ones.
- 22:07Speaker 7: That's what we're looking at now just because you did,
- 22:13Speaker 7: because it's the Rockefeller situation. Now is the Rock Nation
- 22:16Speaker 7: and is the NFL? We're respecting the Rock Nation jay
- 22:19Speaker 7: Z versus the Rocket?
- 22:21Speaker 15: What was going on?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Listen? And I just want to say this.
- 22:24Speaker 8: The one thing that I truly believe is that fame,
- 22:29Speaker 8: access privilege, like the Rock Nation jay Z where he
- 22:33Speaker 8: is now, doesn't make you a good person. It only
- 22:37Speaker 8: reveals who you are more now. If he is the
- 22:42Speaker 8: person who did what that girl is saying he did,
- 22:45Speaker 8: some of what he still does now will reveal.
- 22:48Speaker 1: That we don't. He say, fame is the biggest don't
- 22:51Speaker 1: drug drug known the man.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah, So all I know is there is ain't no
- 22:57Speaker 4: fun if my homies can't have no And then there's
- 23:01Speaker 4: the boys.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Yeah yeah a snoop. So is which version did you?
- 23:06Speaker 5: Like?
- 23:07Speaker 4: I said, there's the Olympic Ambassador and that was yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 4: and you don't stop.
- 23:13Speaker 1: We'll be back for more to Sports Shock Show right
- 23:15Speaker 1: after this. For unless I learned to.
- 23:18Speaker 7: Patty Paddock, Daddy, how you with with fsh and nail fashion,
- 23:21Speaker 7: I'll be.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Dripping to death if I needed caskt tripping trup. We
- 23:23Speaker 1: got most stress in the breath of foul. Took a
- 23:25Speaker 1: start in the middle of the field like David Beckabille's
- 23:29Speaker 1: lot took for real. I'm trying to help the front.

- 23:38Speaker 16: Daisy was abandoned by her family and placed in foster

- 23:46Speaker 16: She thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home.
- 23:51Speaker 17: Before I was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough.
- 23:54Speaker 17: I had this hole in my heart and I never
- 23:56Speaker 17: knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when
- 24:00Speaker 17: my mom asks to adopt me, that holes closed. It
- 24:03Speaker 17: feels so normal now to say that I'm a part
- 24:05Speaker 17: of this family. I am surrounded by love, I feel safe,
- 24:09Speaker 17: and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I am whole.
- 24:13Speaker 17: I'm finally enough, just as I am.
- 24:16Speaker 16: The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is changing the lives

- 25:38Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy in
- 25:45Speaker 1: the red zone, you see too full, the time you
- 25:54Speaker 1: see come switches, my ham of bang, the world in
- 26:00Speaker 1: the shape not let it fall.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Welcome back to the sport shop. Shop the sports shop
- 26:05Speaker 4: Wing Gandea. One of the most famous hires in the
- 26:10Speaker 4: world period will be denoted as Bill Belichick, the legendary
- 26:18Speaker 4: NFL head coach of the Patriots, a long time assistant
- 26:26Speaker 4: and decoordinated with the Giants head coach with the Browns.
- 26:31Speaker 4: We're talking about literally, a guy that can walk in
- 26:35Speaker 4: a room and argue to be the greatest football coach
- 26:40Speaker 4: of all time has decided to enter another ram and
- 26:47Speaker 4: now is on a five year deal. The seventy two
- 26:52Speaker 4: year old is now the head coach at North Carolina
- 26:56Speaker 4: with the Tar Heels. Bill bella Check decided to take
- 27:01Speaker 4: this offer, take this job, and all I can think,
- 27:07Speaker 4: Commanchie Big Kenny bad Producer, is how I wanted to
- 27:12Speaker 4: pat myself on the back. And I say that from
- 27:16Speaker 4: the fact that I have been pushing and promoting to
- 27:19Speaker 4: people that you might as well just make it pro ball.
- 27:25Speaker 4: We are so enendowed with wanting to still see college
- 27:31Speaker 4: as college and it's not. Its transformation into pro ball
- 27:37Speaker 4: is what allows Bill Belichick to go to North Carolina.
- 27:42Speaker 4: For you pundits out there that think that you can't
- 27:45Speaker 4: see this, why not?
- 27:48Speaker 20: This is what.
- 27:49Speaker 4: He's a professional act. He's used to having a different
- 27:53Speaker 4: roster every year. That's what college football is. Go check
- 27:59Speaker 4: your team out and see how long you've had the
- 28:01Speaker 4: same quarterback, the same receiver. This is what this sport
- 28:09Speaker 4: is becoming. Everything centered around it is professional. The gambling part,
- 28:14Speaker 4: the component of that is professional. The payment of the
- 28:18Speaker 4: players is professional. Teams, as I said on Monday, they're
- 28:22Speaker 4: hiring GMS. North Carolina pulled this to have the brain
- 28:27Speaker 4: of Bill Belichick in their building for a couple of years,
- 28:34Speaker 4: to situate them as a pro team, to get some
- 28:40Speaker 4: information to their scouts. Negotiation, the same thing he came
- 28:45Speaker 4: to college sports for. Is why Nick Saban left. Nick
- 28:53Speaker 4: didn't want to do pro because that's what Alabama had become.
- 28:59Speaker 4: I call you, got a call and negotiate. Only difference
- 29:03Speaker 4: to just hanging out of your pocket. Fully, I gotta
- 29:08Speaker 4: call some booster, get the three million from him, and
- 29:13Speaker 4: then call Travis Hunter. That's really where it is. Where
- 29:18Speaker 4: you can sit here and Travis Hunter could roll back
- 29:20Speaker 4: the dice. If some Colorado booster came in and said
- 29:23Speaker 4: some crazy number, he could come back for his senior year.
- 29:29Speaker 1: That's why Caitlyn Clark went back.
- 29:33Speaker 4: That's why Paige Bukers went back to you con't why
- 29:37Speaker 4: go to the WNBA, like he said, we're gonna drop
- 29:42Speaker 4: this man loves the he's never heard of a monolog
- 29:45Speaker 4: Cassie promptly not probably not what people are talking. And
- 29:51Speaker 4: then you don't talk.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Right right, Well, we'll go over that later, So go
- 29:59Speaker 1: ahead on and finish. I was gonna say, No, I
- 30:01Speaker 1: just thought was money. Let's is what you said last? Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 1: he'll pick up right there. No, I was just up.
- 30:10Speaker 7: I just was saying that a Mondo came back, but
- 30:12Speaker 7: he got a lot of money from you versus North Carolina.
- 30:15Speaker 1: It was unnecessary that we wasted a lot of time
- 30:18Speaker 1: and energy on that. Young man finished.
- 30:24Speaker 4: You got the whole you got like six more minutes,
- 30:27Speaker 4: go ahead on the toe. I mean I wanted to
- 30:29Speaker 4: take over.
- 30:29Speaker 1: No, I didn't want to take over. I just there
- 30:31Speaker 1: wasn't nothing to spectact like that.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I mean, you couldn't wait till the end and say, hey,
- 30:35Speaker 4: sports shot, I got another example of what you're talking about.
- 30:38Speaker 1: No, I wasn't. I just it just popped out. It's
- 30:40Speaker 1: a Mondo Baycott. I mean, it was just like he said,
- 30:43Speaker 1: popped out. I didn't hear it. But Bill Belichick at
- 30:51Speaker 1: you in ce uh is not a head coach.
- 30:55Speaker 4: I don't see any negativity that hiring Bill for North Carolina.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I know going into this, a lot of people say
- 31:04Speaker 4: they couldn't see it. I think the end seeing it
- 31:09Speaker 4: was just more of the headache of it, not so
- 31:12Speaker 4: much that he couldn't do the job. Just why at
- 31:15Speaker 4: seventy three and your new girlfriend? That seems like the
- 31:21Speaker 4: dream life.
- 31:23Speaker 8: I took the job because this playing Taylor Swift all
- 31:27Speaker 8: they getting on my nerves.
- 31:30Speaker 4: You keep asking me to do the TikTok challenge. I
- 31:32Speaker 4: don't even know what tik tok is. My watch, I
- 31:35Speaker 4: still use analog time. Get out my face. Somebody called
- 31:39Speaker 4: want to offer you a job, I'll take it. You
- 31:41Speaker 4: don't want to know who it is. It don't matter.
- 31:43Speaker 4: I'll take the job. Well they get me out the house, Okay,
- 31:46Speaker 4: I'm there.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Just and sports, you keep saying that people are unwilling
- 31:51Speaker 8: to accept or people keep dragging their feet to catch
- 31:55Speaker 8: up to pace with the fact that this is now
- 31:57Speaker 8: professional sports. When we talk about the collegiate level, I
- 32:00Speaker 8: think a lot of people are just drinking the kool
- 32:02Speaker 8: aid and believing what the NCAA keeps telling them.
- 32:06Speaker 1: This is academic athletics, this is college.
- 32:10Speaker 4: I can't let you leave that on the feet of NCAA.
- 32:13Speaker 4: They haven't told you anything.
- 32:15Speaker 8: So who keeps selling us that this is or is this?
- 32:18Speaker 8: Just like me personally, I find it difficult to separate
- 32:22Speaker 8: myself from school, athletics and education. That's usually how you
- 32:29Speaker 8: got into college on a scholarship was to get your education.
- 32:33Speaker 8: And you know, we are just in the second or
- 32:35Speaker 8: third year of this nil era. So is that what
- 32:38Speaker 8: the general public is struggling to.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Accept is that it used to be about the books Now,
- 32:43Speaker 4: I mean, what happens to the books now? What happens
- 32:46Speaker 4: to that part of the process. Well, would I imagine
- 32:49Speaker 4: that there won't be any school in forty years? I
- 32:55Speaker 4: believe when Generation Z has children b school at all,
- 33:04Speaker 4: not unless you personally choose.
- 33:07Speaker 21: To have it.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Okay, we'll just be running around on our phone.
- 33:14Speaker 4: We would be before they instituted the school system the
- 33:17Speaker 4: first two thousand years of life, before somebody came up
- 33:20Speaker 4: with an organized school education, you did it at home,
- 33:24Speaker 4: or you take the time of if you want to
- 33:26Speaker 4: send your kid. But I don't think the mandate of
- 33:29Speaker 4: elementary and all that will even exist. Why we're not
- 33:35Speaker 4: trying to create knowledge. We're not trying to create anything.
- 33:39Speaker 4: We think knowledge is texting a question or talking to Siri.
- 33:44Speaker 4: They have a new commercial that one of the companies
- 33:48Speaker 4: or where you talk to the guy almost like you're
- 33:51Speaker 4: talking to a.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Person Gemini, Hey, Gemini, how you doing that? I'm straight
- 34:00Speaker 1: Semini to interpret your Gemini.
- 34:01Speaker 8: Oh, girls say, I ought to call her later, but
- 34:05Speaker 8: you know she's still in a situationship.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Should I chill? Well, bruh, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:10Speaker 4: That's that's how they want that commercial.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's it. I'm the guy. I think one
- 34:14Speaker 1: of the one of the little parts of the guy
- 34:16Speaker 1: is fixing like a car.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's telling Gemini to tell him how to
- 34:21Speaker 4: fix it, which means that he doesn't know how to
- 34:23Speaker 4: fix the car. The one that Gemini is gonna walk
- 34:26Speaker 4: him through.
- 34:26Speaker 1: It fixing the car. The thing that I zoomed in
- 34:29Speaker 1: on was this lady was having Gemini interpret her dream.
- 34:34Speaker 8: Yeah, and conversations like man, so being Gemini, I wake
- 34:38Speaker 8: up your friend, it's raining, but I'm barefoot.
- 34:40Speaker 1: What that means oh, bru, you need to relax.
- 34:43Speaker 4: More so in twenty twenty four we have Gemini. Why
- 34:46Speaker 4: in forty years, what I need school?
- 34:51Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, to put the pieces? Why would I need school? True? True?
- 34:57Speaker 1: Once my child learns, I don't even have to. I
- 34:59Speaker 1: don't even have to.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I don't even have to type it in, right, I
- 35:04Speaker 4: just asked Gemini, and that and that the whole reason
- 35:09Speaker 4: for it. So each and every year, I'm just saying,
- 35:12Speaker 4: in your mind, and when i'm I'm exaggerating to the
- 35:15Speaker 4: point where there is a complete absence, I'm thinking it's
- 35:18Speaker 4: a it'd be more of a choice. But whereas now
- 35:21Speaker 4: we were raised where you had to go to school
- 35:24Speaker 4: or somebody going to jail.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Right, yo, Yeah, that was gonna show up because they
- 35:29Speaker 1: came there. Why is these twelve year olds out here
- 35:32Speaker 1: on the corner.
- 35:32Speaker 4: They used to send a letter to We should know
- 35:34Speaker 4: when they when they when they aligned, you know they're.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Supposed to be and you're gonna have to get these
- 35:38Speaker 1: kids to the school. My mama shot, I thought y'all
- 35:41Speaker 1: was going to school lat day. But they don't check
- 35:43Speaker 1: that anymore. That's nothing. They don't even have. There's no
- 35:47Speaker 1: such thing as a choice. I'm saying all that when
- 35:50Speaker 1: I to piece together.
- 35:52Speaker 4: When you're talking about athletics, Clemson in the like the
- 35:56Speaker 4: last ten years is the highest graduation of their athletes,
- 36:00Speaker 4: close to ninety five. Ninety six percent of their athletes
- 36:05Speaker 4: graduate Georgia, it's like forty.
- 36:09Speaker 1: But all of them gonna pro. But all of them
- 36:11Speaker 1: play for the Eagles, right, all of them play for
- 36:13Speaker 1: about the whole.
- 36:14Speaker 4: The whole, the whole group play for the Eagles. I
- 36:18Speaker 4: think everybody on defense is like one person. When George George, Yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 4: to the boy, You'll be watching the game, like, no,
- 36:26Speaker 4: that couldn't be literally and and and playing.
- 36:28Speaker 1: For Kobe Dean, but that Jordan Jefferson And then that's
- 36:32Speaker 1: what's the big dude?
- 36:33Speaker 4: To guy that Jordan watching a Georgia game. I mean really,
- 36:41Speaker 4: and I'm going to the Eagles kind of like graduate.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'm saying that first round kind of like graduating. So
- 36:47Speaker 4: you know. The Cavendar, the Cavender Twins, young ladies down
- 36:50Speaker 4: in Miami, has bounced to two colleges. They retired two
- 36:57Speaker 4: other times, came back this year. This is about their
- 37:00Speaker 4: sixth year in college. They went to try to wrestle.
- 37:04Speaker 4: They decided to come back. Now they're back at UM
- 37:07Speaker 4: playing this year there last year. They're monetarizing it. Yeah,
- 37:11Speaker 4: nobody cares whether they graduated. They don't care whether they're
- 37:14Speaker 4: listed as some kind of grad students. In the main,
- 37:18Speaker 4: it is n il money. They realized that they instead
- 37:22Speaker 4: of going wrestling and following around like a circus, I
- 37:26Speaker 4: just go back to Miami and get the deal. We'll
- 37:29Speaker 4: be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this, Papa.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Just to start up.

- 39:03Speaker 23: Hi.
- 39:03Speaker 24: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generation race car driver, and
- 39:06Speaker 24: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as
- 39:08Speaker 24: fast as possible. My Grandpa Lou is the reason why
- 39:10Speaker 24: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 39:12Speaker 24: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 39:14Speaker 24: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 39:17Speaker 24: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 39:19Speaker 24: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 39:21Speaker 24: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 39:24Speaker 24: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 39:27Speaker 24: their memory.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Or having trouble with routine tasks.
- 39:30Speaker 24: Talking about Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you
- 39:32Speaker 24: notice something, have a conversation with your loved one, encourage
- 39:35Speaker 24: them to see a doctor or offer to go with them.
- 39:37Speaker 24: Early detection of Alzheimer's can give your family time to
- 39:39Speaker 24: explore support services, make a plan for the future, and
- 39:42Speaker 24: access available treatments. The Alzheimer's Association provides care, support and

- 40:21Speaker 2: Between locked on, say you can see a sports chaint
- 40:35Speaker 2: all shint even big canny.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Walk back to this boy, shuck shove this boy shuck
- 40:42Speaker 4: wing candy. Good morning to you.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Go to the mall this year. Now stop all that online.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Get out.
- 40:49Speaker 4: Social media is not socializing. It's not get out. Go
- 40:56Speaker 4: see you get some good laughs. Man your spirit. You
- 40:58Speaker 4: just think you're doing bad, just go to the mall.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Because the man make a suggestion. Sports if you're going
- 41:05Speaker 4: to go to the mall, please go to the It's
- 41:09Speaker 4: close to where I live. The Cumberland Mall.
- 41:11Speaker 8: They have nice it's a nice mall, but I'm impressed
- 41:15Speaker 8: by the fact that they have visible and secret gun
- 41:21Speaker 8: detection technology on premises to eliminate the possibility of anyone
- 41:29Speaker 8: walking over.
- 41:30Speaker 1: That sounds like fat free cheese. I know, what's the purpose.
- 41:34Speaker 1: It's just, you know, come on, what the whole purpose
- 41:37Speaker 1: of cheese is to be fat? It's the fat. I mean,
- 41:40Speaker 1: because cheese there's no other purposes.
- 41:44Speaker 4: It's not like people, you know, like eight cheese slices.
- 41:48Speaker 4: It's all like, you know, you want to make it better,
- 41:50Speaker 4: throw some cheese. I don't know what the purpose of
- 41:52Speaker 4: fat free ice cream? Yeah, non alcoholic beer. I thought
- 41:57Speaker 4: that was YOOT. I thought, yeah, fat free ice cream
- 42:01Speaker 4: was yoga. I think CBD is crazy too. I just
- 42:04Speaker 4: don't tell anybody that in Christmas conversation, I want that
- 42:08Speaker 4: yoga's fat free ice ice cream.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I mean, I mean something that's like I'm just saying
- 42:13Speaker 1: it's nasty. Some of that stuff. I don't imagine that
- 42:16Speaker 1: it could be. But we're purist.
- 42:18Speaker 8: We're from a generation where cocaine actually had cocaine in it,
- 42:21Speaker 8: you know what I'm saying.
- 42:22Speaker 4: But Bill Belichick North Carolina and it just opens the
- 42:25Speaker 4: floodgates to to what I have also said, let them
- 42:29Speaker 4: back go to the pro fill I'll go back to college.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Play for that co play for the college team that
- 42:35Speaker 1: that Why not that that's that's supposed to Johnny Manziel
- 42:38Speaker 1: can't make it in Cleveland.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Ny Manziel right now is only thirty two years old.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Why isn't he back at Texas and M.
- 42:44Speaker 1: He can sell shirts. Why can't we get.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Some Johnny football doing the Johnny football at college station?
- 42:54Speaker 1: Why can't I have that thrill? Why does it have
- 42:56Speaker 1: to end with sports? Why?
- 43:01Speaker 4: Why does sports have to end? You shouldn't have to end.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Why not go back to Texas and M. You want
- 43:08Speaker 4: to see it? You would have watched. You would have
- 43:11Speaker 4: watched Johnny Manziel take on Arch Manning and and and
- 43:16Speaker 4: whatever they call the Rivalry Bowl down there every year.
- 43:19Speaker 4: You want to see it too. Did Johnny get in trouble?
- 43:23Speaker 4: Who's the hooker? Johnny's with the day all that kind
- 43:27Speaker 4: of you know, he would hook It's Johnny drunk?
- 43:30Speaker 25: You want?
- 43:30Speaker 1: You want that bad, not drunk. That's the that's the story.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Guess who got got caught?
- 43:40Speaker 26: So to.
- 43:42Speaker 1: See guess who we guess who we can coming out?
- 43:46Speaker 1: He's he's more matured. What I'm saying, guess what we
- 43:49Speaker 1: call coming out of church today? All the money we'll
- 43:52Speaker 1: go to our online.
- 43:53Speaker 4: But all I'm saying is just like Bill Belichick, he
- 43:56Speaker 4: took a year off and it's how he wanted to
- 43:58Speaker 4: go to coaching.
- 43:59Speaker 1: He can go.
- 43:59Speaker 4: He went to college, that's an option. Why can't pros
- 44:03Speaker 4: go back? Why not just continue to see the best
- 44:07Speaker 4: of what you want to see? It's common why I
- 44:10Speaker 4: would rather the players at Auburn baseball that were good
- 44:15Speaker 4: enough to make the minor leagues just go back to
- 44:20Speaker 4: Auburn and keep playing, because then I get the best
- 44:23Speaker 4: of the best All the time.
- 44:27Speaker 1: We have the why is there an expiration date that
- 44:30Speaker 1: kid that wants to come to Auburn? The competition?
- 44:37Speaker 4: Every year, there's a there's a lineman that's drafted every
- 44:41Speaker 4: year that's coming to take your job. It don't matter
- 44:43Speaker 4: whether it's year one. Michael Pennix came to take Kirk
- 44:47Speaker 4: Cousins job, right, that's true.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Year one to year fourteen. That's how it is.
- 44:53Speaker 4: There's a young and he willing to take less money
- 44:57Speaker 4: for a period. So I don't know why Johnny can't
- 45:01Speaker 4: go back. Big Kenny, you said we have some online people.
- 45:03Speaker 8: Yeah, we've got a lot of online comments from our
- 45:06Speaker 8: lord online listeners about jay Z. Uncle Charlie said, come on, now,
- 45:10Speaker 8: do you take birthday cake to a freak party?
- 45:13Speaker 27: No?
- 45:14Speaker 1: No, you take your baby oil? Guilty? I hope not.
- 45:18Speaker 8: But good morning God, he hit us with good morning
- 45:23Speaker 8: at the end. Guilty, good morning, So he feels like
- 45:27Speaker 8: that about jay Z. Jared Lloyd when my man mentioned
- 45:32Speaker 8: on Monto baycont he said, you have no one to
- 45:34Speaker 8: blame but yourself.
- 45:35Speaker 1: As j.
- 45:37Speaker 8: Mister Byron Southward said, dang g, I never thought of that.
- 45:41Speaker 8: No school sounds like caveman. Sounds like cave men with clothing,
- 45:48Speaker 8: is what he said about that. And then he says,
- 45:51Speaker 8: you're correct, kJ upgraded to high tech cave folks because
- 45:55Speaker 8: I told him that cavemen didn't have Gemini, So you're right, right,
- 46:00Speaker 8: So now we upgrade.
- 46:01Speaker 1: There, you know, k folk.
- 46:04Speaker 8: I mean, because we're still unsocialized, we can garner the
- 46:08Speaker 8: knowledge and you don't do social media. But they've they've
- 46:11Speaker 8: developed this AI technology now to the point where I
- 46:14Speaker 8: promise you they're trying to anticipate your thoughts. There are
- 46:18Speaker 8: times when I will I will stay on a product
- 46:22Speaker 8: long enough viewing it that the next time I think
- 46:25Speaker 8: about that product, it pops up in a timeline. I've
- 46:29Speaker 8: talked to someone about something that they had never been
- 46:32Speaker 8: aware of Uber, and by the time I had walked
- 46:35Speaker 8: to the curb, they had an AD for Uber on
- 46:38Speaker 8: their phone. Now they weren't even aware of before, but
- 46:41Speaker 8: our conversation put the ad on their phone now and so,
- 46:45Speaker 8: and I've.
- 46:45Speaker 7: Told that like your headphones the bluetooth, because I didn't
- 46:48Speaker 7: even say it out loud, I was thinking about something
- 46:51Speaker 7: and it popped up on I'm no, this is another
- 46:56Speaker 7: situation where something popped up but I didn't even say
- 46:59Speaker 7: anything about it. But if someone told me, said, because
- 47:01Speaker 7: you got your ear piece in your ear and you're
- 47:04Speaker 7: thinking about it, it picks up on that also.
- 47:06Speaker 28: You know.
- 47:06Speaker 8: And so I'm saying that those are the things that
- 47:09Speaker 8: you know, your pulses, your things like that, which is creepy,
- 47:12Speaker 8: which are super super creepy to think something could anticipate
- 47:17Speaker 8: Because there is a case right now that has been
- 47:21Speaker 8: taken to court where they say AI encouraged a child
- 47:25Speaker 8: to hurt themselves.
- 47:26Speaker 1: They were conversing with the kid. The kid asked, are
- 47:29Speaker 1: you real?
- 47:30Speaker 8: It says, of course, I'm real, and then goes about
- 47:32Speaker 8: a course of conversation that led to some tragedy.
- 47:35Speaker 1: So you know, we'll be back with more of the
- 47:37Speaker 1: Sports Duck Show right after this. Uh huh, right, don't
- 47:54Speaker 1: go away.
- 47:55Speaker 10: Bar of the Sports John Show with Wayne Dandy is

- 50:53Speaker 1: But back to this mor Shock show.
- 50:54Speaker 4: I'm this mort Shock, Quayne ken d I wish y'all
- 50:57Speaker 4: could have been in the conversation me and the bad
- 50:59Speaker 4: producer just had over here, Big Kenny COMANCHI gred we'd
- 51:02Speaker 4: have to pick it up another day. But it's a
- 51:04Speaker 4: lot of people hating on Bill Belichick being hired at
- 51:07Speaker 4: North Carolina and they trying to send him information about
- 51:11Speaker 4: Bill Belichick without Tom Brady. Uh and how I guess
- 51:16Speaker 4: he's not going to be effective. But the funny part
- 51:19Speaker 4: is the bad producer didn't realize that's him when it's
- 51:23Speaker 4: other subjects. If I say Mike Skizhski, he goes to
- 51:27Speaker 4: find something where Mike Szski, oh, well, you know he
- 51:31Speaker 4: was three and twelve. Without Grant Hill, he would go
- 51:35Speaker 4: find some information to try too. But he doesn't like
- 51:39Speaker 4: it being done when it's on him. Like most people,
- 51:43Speaker 4: like they said, ain't no fun.
- 51:44Speaker 1: When the rabbit got the gun, got the gun the problem?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Who was that one of the murderer rappers? No, I'm
- 51:53Speaker 1: just saying that's what basically they that was. He was,
- 51:56Speaker 1: no doubt. And that's two times his hit song two
- 52:01Speaker 1: Summers Ago, No One. Some times it was a criminal
- 52:06Speaker 1: right from his from his hit song A Summer and
- 52:09Speaker 1: a Fall.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Flag planting looks like after the Ohio State Michigan incident,
- 52:18Speaker 4: flag plant planting could possibly become a fellay.
- 52:24Speaker 1: In the state.
- 52:25Speaker 8: Now now, now see what's the see Ohio right and
- 52:30Speaker 8: see see and that's how we got to artificial intelligence.
- 52:34Speaker 8: Because somebody didn't want their kid to have to deal
- 52:38Speaker 8: with adversity. They didn't want them to have to be bullied.
- 52:40Speaker 8: They didn't want them to have to compete, They didn't
- 52:42Speaker 8: want them to have to feel uncomfortable. They didn't want
- 52:44Speaker 8: them to feel any anxiety that they had to work
- 52:46Speaker 8: through any kind of challenges. And they started. And so
- 52:49Speaker 8: now why my kid even got to talk to other people.
- 52:52Speaker 8: We're gonna get you a friend that's gonna always be
- 52:55Speaker 8: your friend, Heidi ho and we all know how that.
- 52:58Speaker 8: Jared even commented series jim My house Sky net y'all
- 53:02Speaker 8: know how this movie ends, right and it all ends
- 53:05Speaker 8: what I'll be back, So you know, that's how we
- 53:09Speaker 8: get here is nobody wants to have to do anything
- 53:15Speaker 8: so that that's just weird to me.
- 53:17Speaker 4: Well, that's the path that we are going on. It's
- 53:20Speaker 4: slowly like That's why I said, go back to the mall.
- 53:22Speaker 4: That's how it started get out because people have really
- 53:25Speaker 4: I see just and I'm like you said, I'm not
- 53:27Speaker 4: even plugged in it, but to listen to conversations of
- 53:30Speaker 4: people and people send me different texts like so no socializing,
- 53:36Speaker 4: just social media, because they just send you the story.
- 53:41Speaker 4: It's not hey, how you doing, how your mom, how
- 53:43Speaker 4: your kids? You know, how your job? When the next game?
- 53:47Speaker 4: The just will send you out of context something on
- 53:53Speaker 4: social media. Yeah, and it's so we're and I guess
- 53:58Speaker 4: they consider that socializing. I think it's interesting to.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Communicating something to you.
- 54:04Speaker 8: Well, no, people, this is in a social way. You
- 54:07Speaker 8: think you're communicating. But a lot of what I've experienced
- 54:10Speaker 8: is people send you things that you're not even connected to.
- 54:13Speaker 8: They'll send you a video link to TikTok. I don't
- 54:17Speaker 8: have TikTok. My mother gets links to social media. She's
- 54:21Speaker 8: eighty one, she's tyk of social media. She's always coming
- 54:23Speaker 8: to me like, can you open this and tell me
- 54:25Speaker 8: what this means? And then oh, and it's a meme,
- 54:28Speaker 8: you know what I'm saying for a crying Michael Jordan
- 54:31Speaker 8: or something like that.
- 54:31Speaker 4: The flag planning is now going to be a felony
- 54:34Speaker 4: in Ohio. That means that also to be in Michigan.
- 54:38Speaker 1: So so no payback.
- 54:41Speaker 4: Know I'm talking about well next year, Well, because if
- 54:47Speaker 4: I can't plan it at your stadium, That's.
- 54:48Speaker 1: What I'm saying, you can't come planning it mine and.
- 54:53Speaker 7: The law on the book, you know, until they put
- 54:55Speaker 7: it on the books, you still got the opportunity.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Oh, they can get this passed and send two outs. Well,
- 55:01Speaker 1: let me ask you this, what would it be possible for.
- 55:06Speaker 8: It to be a felony in Ohio and the Ohio
- 55:10Speaker 8: State goes to Michigan, beats them, plants a flag on
- 55:15Speaker 8: the m and then get prosecuted for it in Ohio.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Can't do that, Okay, it happened in Michigan. No, no,
- 55:23Speaker 1: I'm saying some No, I'm saying you can't federal saying
- 55:28Speaker 1: you can't transfer state. Let's make it.
- 55:33Speaker 8: And that's what I thought. It was a federal crime.
- 55:35Speaker 8: It's just a state Ohio, the.
- 55:37Speaker 7: State of Ohio. Okay, maybe the city of Columbus. You
- 55:41Speaker 7: don't even may not even be the old state.
- 55:43Speaker 4: Trey Young last night taking down the Knicks up at
- 55:46Speaker 4: Madison Square Garden, deciding at the end of the game
- 55:50Speaker 4: to have a little gesture of rolling dice on the
- 55:56Speaker 4: Knicks logo, speaking of flag planning ice tray and still
- 56:02Speaker 4: doing his signature shiver move.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Uh. He decided to go with the dice move on
- 56:10Speaker 1: the logo.
- 56:11Speaker 24: Uh.
- 56:12Speaker 4: And I kept hoping and wishing, and you know, sometimes
- 56:17Speaker 4: I wish we did have magical abilities in our spirit
- 56:24Speaker 4: and life. You know, we can make things. And I
- 56:27Speaker 4: kept trying to materialize.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Charles Oakley and and and have him run out and
- 56:36Speaker 1: have just run out and remove Trey from Trey. They
- 56:41Speaker 1: can't do that. Those guys, see, that's what they get.
- 56:46Speaker 8: That last night they needed him and he was outside like,
- 56:50Speaker 8: don't look at me, bro, don't look at me.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Tell you boy to go handle back stood for it,
- 56:55Speaker 1: and I.
- 56:56Speaker 6: Kept looking at go ahead, Well just say those kinds
- 56:58Speaker 6: of players have basic have through the rule changes. They've
- 57:03Speaker 6: been pushed out. You don't have You don't have the
- 57:05Speaker 6: goons anymore, even like we just need you to go
- 57:07Speaker 6: in there and rebound and sets, like I said, they
- 57:09Speaker 6: won't even the Bill can't even do that.
- 57:12Speaker 1: He can't come.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Well, I just was hoping one of the players, because
- 57:17Speaker 4: those are one of those are the finds that the
- 57:20Speaker 4: all the players are chip in and pay.
- 57:24Speaker 6: Together when they when they played each other in the
- 57:28Speaker 6: playoffs and at halftime, they're they're going to the locker
- 57:33Speaker 6: room until one bump trade and then like the Hawks
- 57:39Speaker 6: players came to defend them, and then the Hawks still
- 57:41Speaker 6: won that game in that series. The Knicks gave up
- 57:43Speaker 6: for forever on doing anything to him. Yeah years ago,
- 57:51Speaker 6: that was three years ago.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And he's up for playing John Starks, Anthony Mason, any
- 58:00Speaker 1: of those guys. They've been legislated out the game. Legendislated. Wow,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm saying I think about it.
- 58:06Speaker 4: Literally cannot talk to the guard and they see him
- 58:09Speaker 4: walking around outside.
- 58:11Speaker 1: They got secured circle in the buildings. Seventh, the Halls.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Beak the Knicks last night one O eight, one hundred
- 58:17Speaker 4: to move on to Vegas and Houston beat Golden State,
- 58:22Speaker 4: UH to move on to Vegas. That semi final is Saturday,
- 58:28Speaker 4: and it doesn't. The fourteens, Hey, we're in the play.
- 58:32Speaker 1: It doesn't. We'll be back. It's not even real. It's
- 58:36Speaker 1: the play.
- 58:37Speaker 29: Hill the car thirty four under outside yallar Folk and.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Ku get on top of me and rob me.
- 58:45Speaker 4: Leo Hall, you want to keep me up and you
- 58:47Speaker 4: never want to barn over the John't boy, Wayne Born
- 58:50Speaker 4: of the sports Josh Hill with Wayne Dandie is coming
- 58:53Speaker 4: up next.
- 58:55Speaker 1: And now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance.
- 58:57Speaker 5: Three quarters of Americans believe that cover, which represents a
- 59:00Speaker 5: critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent
- 59:04Speaker 5: actually have life insurance.
- 59:06Speaker 30: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 59:08Speaker 30: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Life insurance.
- 59:11Speaker 30: What's the last thing on my mind?
- 59:12Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 59:15Speaker 30: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 59:17Speaker 30: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 59:19Speaker 30: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 59:21Speaker 30: the insurance informant.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 59:25Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:28Speaker 30: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 59:30Speaker 30: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 59:32Speaker 5: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 59:35Speaker 5: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 59:37Speaker 5: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 59:39Speaker 5: foundation of security. Because without you, your family will have
- 59:43Speaker 5: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 59:48Speaker 5: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 59:52Speaker 5: or bills dot com.
- 59:55Speaker 20: My simple solution to the problem was remove people from
- 59:59Speaker 20: the sea and help them feel safer.
- 1:00:02Speaker 15: In response to attacks against Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised
- 1:00:05Speaker 15: over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate camp
- 1:00:09Speaker 15: rights to the Asian community.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: There is so much more work to be done.
- 1:00:12Speaker 17: We really need to come together and tackle this issue

- 1:01:17Speaker 4: go to Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, Audible, a Deezer, iHeartRadio
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: or Spotify and catch the replay. Command you Greg the
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: bad Producer, Big Kenny, the funny Man himself all in
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: the building Today Thursday Night football the l A Rams
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: at the forty nine ers A Division game. It's kind
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: of like the West Coast version of the Stellers Ravens
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: only thing take out the physicality, but the speed the
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: finesse a game that the forty nine ers desperately need
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: to win, regardless of injury, because they stand on that
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: door of not making the playoffs. With another law Saturday,
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Army versus Navy. Also go ahead, go Navy, Oh white,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: go Navy.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Marine. Yes, as a marine, we are a division of
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the Navy. They're chicks. Yeah. The Navy is our daddy.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So what are the divisions?
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: Well, it's the Army, uh, and air Force, air Force
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: and the Navy. The Marines are a separate fighting force,
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: but they are controlled under the governance of the Navy.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: What are the five branches of the Pentagon? The Army, Navy,
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: Air Force, Marines.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: And we have a coast guard. Right.
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: Those are the fighting forces. Those are the fighting forces.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: But the arms of the military are primarily broken up
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: into two. The Army, which is responsible for are on
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: land defense, and the Navy, which is responsible for our
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: sea and water defense. The Marines are component of the Navy,
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: and we are able to defend both.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: So how did it get in the quote? I'm asking you?
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: Maybe maybe you don't have how how did it get
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: in the sales package. When you say the armed first
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: forces of the military, It's always been Army, Navy, Air.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Force, Marine, The Marines were created as a addition to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the Navy.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: And yeah, but the q's created what the apples created?
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Who I don't know, the ops created the Kappus. The
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Cappus created Cappus.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: No, no, when it started, like the Masons created all
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: the divine nines in the east of stars that came from.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: There, there was the Ak's and then there was the Deltas. Right,
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Ak's were first they upset. So I'm just asking you
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: and maybe this is off the air we can move
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: on with the show when it's always been sold to
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: me in my fifty years of life. It was those
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: five divisions, right. They even set up the Pentagon, right, well,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: based on this idea.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: And I'm saying, just like there are some nuances inside
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the NFL.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: No no, no, no, no, no no no, I'm to
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: turn on we're talking about I didn't say I knew
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: what I was talking about. I asked you, how did
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: it become part of the slogan to where if it
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: was just the Navy, is the Marines? Why just in
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: state the Navy and not say the Marine.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Right, because they have a separate duty that they have
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: a whole separate mission.
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: But don't the Green Berets have. That's part of the
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: army exactly. But I mean, they're they're just like the
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: Navy seals. They're they're a subdivision of that. But the
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: Marines basically are the fire and force for the Navy.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: Like if the Navy was on water and they needed
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: to get on land, those guys Kenningham was created to
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: be able. They can hop on them little boats off
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: the ship and they could go on land because they're
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: taught to fight on land. Whereas if we couldn't get
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: the army in to be able to do that. Dude,
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: the air Force fight on land. Yes, that's true too,
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: But as I'm I'm just stating the reason why I
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: was talking. I'm saying historically, historically, what it was is
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: air support never got on land.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Doesn't the Navy have their own planes? Yeah?
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: They got so y'all don't have to call the Air
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Force either. No, I'm saying the Navy has got helicopters.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: More like, don't y'all got like?
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: More like?
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: No no Blackhawks? The Navy has pilots. Well, the Marines,
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: I mean I meaning the Marine. The Marines have helicopter policy.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: Saturday Army Navy UH celebration boat as well, coming to
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: you on UH Sarity Jackson's South Carolina State as well.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Joe Burrow home invasion. Interesting facts coming out of that,
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: surrounding the nine to one one call all in Joe
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: Burrow's life to and I want to ask you guys,
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: is it's just a function of TMZ. You and I
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: say TMZ the media paying people or someone outing Joe
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Burrow to make some money to release who made the
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: nine one one call?
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: I didn't, I did if they if they gave him
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: that content, yes, yeah, that was for money, because I
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: can't imagine why they would why they mentioned the names of.
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: The person he who quote unquote works for Joe Burrow
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: being in the home, calling her mother and mentioning their names.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But there was an off duty.
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: Deputy there who never got mentioned, so you know, he's
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: charged with protecting the property. Nobody mentioned his name, But
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: then they mentioned her name and then show a picture
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: of her and talk about what she does outside of
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: working for Joe Burrow. It's all to uh, it's clickbait,
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: that salation that that no, and that's why it's the Sun.
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: It's the Sun that that kind of thing. None of
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: this can be verified or even should be reported on.
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: It doesn't have any relevance.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: That's the part I'm saying, inquire stuff that doesn't need
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: to be and I was saying the Sun because they're
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: worse than the inquiry.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: They still they still report stuff like aliens in the
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: White House, you know, like that kind of stuff.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: So I mean, and I just feel like whoever did
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: that needs to be fined, they need to have their
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: money seesed and fired.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: But no, no, that's that person's getting a promotion. That's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: Those breaking news those bet you didn't know this call,
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: the exposing things that is now value.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: We've seen hotel management and those people get fired releasing
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: videotape of people in the hotel.
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: Because they're under a different agreement with a person who
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: who sent in the nine one one call where they
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: had dispatcher had to be what.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: They came from inside. Well think about it, you know
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I called where's the phone go?
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: Because now I thought after forty eight hours the nine
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: one one calls are released to the public or how
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: many hours is that before that?
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: But this came out real soon.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: Then again, do you remember in the since we're talking
- 1:08:36Speaker 8: about it, Diddy case where he was filmed attacking his
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: ex girlfriend.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Took about six seven years where that family came out.
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: But they paid for that video and someone was willing
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: to take more money to release it and possibly lose
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: their job.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: So you know, it's like going back.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: To that was released from the police department because they're
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: the one that actually had the video and they were
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: sitting on it. And when the Puffy situation, when they
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: picked them up, when did the first investigate That's when
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: they released that.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: Hold on, let me make sure that's right. When Diddy's
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: video was filmed by the hotel? Yes, yes, not law enforcement.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: So the hotel is the perpetrator of the information. Yes,
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: they are as far as given to.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Get who gave it to?
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Who?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: The nine one one call goes to.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: Who the dispatch under the umbrella. Yes, those are two
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: different places of collection. It's what I mean, it is
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: not the hotel. The hotel people is a sacred entity.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: Did we have a problem with Big Kenny's mic I
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: think there he is there you go be Kenny back
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: on online. They were trying to phase you out. Yes, did,
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: he was about to give up.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: He did, But.
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: For them to have access to the nine to one
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: one call, it has to become a matter of public record. Now,
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: after a certain amount of time, it becomes a matter
- 1:10:24Speaker 8: of public record. Those things have to be subpoenaed or
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: requested to receive. They said, Joe Burrow's house got robbed
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: on Monday, Tuesday afternoon.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Reporting this story and why why is this information put out?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: That's because he was robbed at all, or that that
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: he was robbed.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Any information, Like I've said this before on the show
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: with d U y s, why are any of this
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: unless you have some claim. Now, if your d U
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: I tape helps him solve his case of you hit
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: my car, then that's one thing me watching Jack del
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Rio get he go through his d U y Why
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: should that.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Even be out because they have allowed that to be
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: used again as entertainment for people. There's a whole group
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: of people that'll watch that all day and it ain't
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: gonna change nothing. It ain't gonna help you, it ain't
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: gonna hurt them.
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: It's just people's desire to look and view and gawk
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: and then express their opinions. Everybody is the Timeline generation.
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: You can be heard right now, no matter how valid.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: What you say is so is exposing people's most embarrassing
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: moments or hurtful moments.
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: From my entertainment because you would hate if someone had
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: done to ray Rice what they've done to Ray Rice
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: to a member of your family.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.

- 1:12:15Speaker 21: In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurt
- 1:12:18Speaker 21: it out and move on.
- 1:12:20Speaker 18: Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing?
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: How is your day?
- 1:12:26Speaker 21: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can
- 1:12:29Speaker 21: be overwhelming.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: So what do we do?

- 1:17:32Speaker 1: you up? I'm saying, now you do? We have to
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: round you up?
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: After six months, everybody starts cheering, come on, man, come on,
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: come on, come on, come on.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Just got a cheer for it. Because people did that
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: with Betty White and she didn't because she got to.
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: But they did like birthday, like two months before. Yeah,
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: and she passed before she Vega's taking odds right now.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: Saying we came, you owe me two months away, not
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: just get married recently or something to Dick Van Dyke
- 1:18:04Speaker 7: in a recent year or two.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: You can't do minutes. Dick Van Dyck uh is a
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: ninety nine, But can he work in work for the weekend?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I got to, I got the clock in for the
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: culture on Nie Leek. You know she didn't. She kind
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: of like me started at the bottom.
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Now we're here. You see what I'm saying. She didn't
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: done everything with that? Oh well, I mean I shock
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: a lot of people with the stuff I do. Bad producers.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying. So, Ninny leeks, I would
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: have to go with that again. Ain't none of what
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: I'm gonna pull out of my trick bag gonna cause.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: No argument leaks? She didn't. She didn't seen this story before.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Elton John calls the legalization of marijuana in the United
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: States one of the greatest mistakes of all time. Gentlemen,
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Elton John, the legend Elton John. Can you see where
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: he's going with this? Yeah, I would like to think.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: I would like to see what he thinks the oh
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: why he formed that opinion would be interesting to me. Well,
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: the two things he said was one was that it
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: was a gateway drug, and two cognitive thinking is impaired
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: more than they speak.
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: On right, right, Well, I can tell you this. I
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: can tell you that it's not for everybody. And in
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: the places where it's legal and it's it's recreational, it's concerning.
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: Once you see soccer moms pulling up, you see whole
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: families pulling up.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Well, I'll ask you and command in the bad producer
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: all that because y'all have taken in this activity.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: Maybe Elton is speaking from how far away from the
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: activity has grown from him, And I'm saying that from
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: the sense of there was a moment in time where
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: just like drinking, it was a weekend thing, a Friday
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: Saturday thing. It was a rock star thing. Yeah, and
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: now we have taken something like marijuana and even alcohol
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: to be seven days.
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: Well, you can order the edibles for your nightly sleep,
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: for your increase your sexual appetite. They have normalized drug
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: use of all kinds. If you blink too much, got
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: something for that. You see what I'm saying, Are you blinking?
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: Are you breathing a lot? We got appeal for that.
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: So it's the gateway, the gateway angle, understand, because now
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: you've made taking something and tied it to feeling better.
- 1:21:07Speaker 8: It used to be marijuana was a drug just to
- 1:21:10Speaker 8: get high and we party and we hang out. But
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: now people are taking it for their anxiety and their
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: muscle aches, and their all of these different things, and
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: so why not take something else? It doesn't make me.
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: I'll take a peal now, I don't get the smell
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: of the marijuana. You know, it's referred to.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: It as though it was a step that took him
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to cocaine.
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I could see that, he said
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: the article. It was, well, you want to see what
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: the next level he is? Most people, yeah, most most
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: people are curious. So I wonder can I run a
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: half mile?
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:21:46Speaker 8: I ran a half mile? I wonder could I run
- 1:21:48Speaker 8: a oh my, or three quarters of a mile? And
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: then you want to test yourself. You start off with
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: the marijuana, and then you see somebody who's got something
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: different and you think, I'll just out try it.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: That didn't hurt me.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: So that didn't hurt me like like they said it would.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: So how bad can this meth thing be? We'll be
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: back with more the Sports Duck Show right after this Gone.

- 1:24:45Speaker 9: I got ninety nine problems. But Team one dropped the
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: Brat patrol on patrol folks that wanted to make sure
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: my casts players Frat culting saves money. Casher from the
- 1:24:56Speaker 9: hood stupid? What type of facts that OSM?
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: What makes your swarch shock show?
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: I'm the swart Shock winging Againdieu. We have talked about
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: Trey Young rolling dice as the NBA cup heads to Vegas,
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: which I think this panel none of us really care
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: about the NBA Cup. It was just a way to
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: try to get Kawhi Leonard to play early in the season.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: And that is backfired again as well, because why I
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: don't think has played this year?
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Has he no?
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Exactly see what I'm saying. So it didn't work. Adam Silver,
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: I know you tried it. He tried to say, what.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: We're gonna do? Now, what kind of tournament we're gonna
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: come up?
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: We're gonna have a what an All Star in the
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: middle of the All Star How are we gonna do it?
- 1:25:41Speaker 20: Now?
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: How are we gonna get it?
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: All these different ideas that these they're just letting the
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: public dictate everything about how they set You gotta really
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: have your own standards, I mean, and NBA Cup painting
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: the floor, it's not making it more exciting, just none
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: of that.
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: I mean, it's not only like trying to get the
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: players to play early in the season. It's like we're
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: trying to get some of this NFL audience because that
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: no one is watching us before Christmas and we have
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: our showcase on Christmas.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: But now the NFL has played them. All you gotta
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: do is pro rate the players.
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: Pro rate them the same way you find the Hawks
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: one hundred thousand dollars because you felt like Trey Young
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: could have played in the game and the Hawks didn't.
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: You find Trey two pro rate for games missed. That
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: is not a legitimate injury.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: That's what you do.
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: You inspire by that. We talk about guys that's making
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: two hundred thousand dollars a game. Eventually it all hit them.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: First four or five.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: It might bounce off, but you let it start being ten, twelve, fifteen,
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: and they start realizing, Man, I don't lost three million
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: dollars out here for no reason it hit. It just
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: don't seem like g I'm talking about for legit. I
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: ain't talking about like you know you hurt, you hurt.
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: But if you're saying the doctor doesn't see why you
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: don't can't play, so you got band like the rest space,
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: I know my bias.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: You're gonna eliminate that whole little excuse, I know my body.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: Then coming up with a tournament that note that is
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: not enhancing anything. Sending them to Vegas, what is that doing.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: You're not even letting people see the game at the
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: home arena. You thought I was gonna go to Vegas
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: to see the Hawks play Milwaukee in a game that
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: is not the Finals. No doing Christmas. No, this is
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: what this was your whole big plan. Sometimes I don't
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: even know who's in these books. Elton John is right,
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: cognitive thinking. I'm telling you, those are the people, Those
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: are the people helping to make these decisions. Badvyduson was
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: talking a couple of minutes ago, and I just really
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: wanted to tie that with a bowl. We were off
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: air once again, Big Kenny. He was talking about refereeing
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: on the high school level, and I was trying to
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: share with you, refereeing on the high school level, it's
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: just like teaching on the high school level. It was
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: a mindset of civil service. That's all it is. That's
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: why people continue to hold that teaching branch down. It
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: was that your mindset was these people had the ability
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: and the education to actually go do a lot of things,
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: but their civil responsibility led them to teach at the
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: high school level. If you wanted to monetorize that, you
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: went to teach at college or you went into the
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: actual profession. So it's the same thing as refereeing. Refereeing
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: on the high school level is not a monetary thing.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: As you are trying to make it where you go
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: to who bids the most money, which is not wrong,
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: but some people they just have Big Kenny Sun played baseball,
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: he got into being a baseball ump and he just
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: does that on his Tuesdays and Thursdays as a civil Yes,
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: it's basically for the gas money to come over here.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: They get you gas money. Nice one because I didn't know.
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: I'm saying the mindset of that this is for the
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: gas that it took you to drive over here, and
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: something I did it for the juice bag.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: But at the end we just stand around it. It's
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: a sense of volunteering. Now do you think do you
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: think that.
- 1:29:52Speaker 8: Teaching, refing other things that used to be seen as
- 1:29:56Speaker 8: civic participation, my civic duty have now gotten price tags.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: Do you think that is.
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: One a byproduct of the industry itself saying we need
- 1:30:12Speaker 8: better quality people, so we're going to have to pay
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: them something or is that a byproduct of people going,
- 1:30:18Speaker 8: hey man, my time valuable, I got better wings to do.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: That's what I was going to say is and what
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: I meant by that also sports job.
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: I do understand it is a volunteer thing, even if
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: when you do it on the little league level as
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: far as you're going out there to help, and which
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: I don't mind. I do go out there and help
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: on that level also, But what I'm saying is now
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: that where you're getting to the point where the kids
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: are getting paid even it's filtered down in the high school,
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: and you're dealing with other elements of like parents during
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: the summer where we having to bring in the police
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: to get the parents off the courts and situations like that,
- 1:30:54Speaker 7: when it's now has became past that because the officials
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: we're being blamed for or this or that, if the
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: kid didn't do this, or if they didn't have a situation,
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: orf the team didn't win, and it's done turned into
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: a lot of.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: A snowball effect of the money and a lot of
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: other things that's coming along with it.
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: And then you have guys to say, hey, man, I'm
- 1:31:15Speaker 7: out here to help with this, but I'm not gonna
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: take all this hollering and screaming at me and your
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: parents acting a fool and everybody's getting paid this help us.
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: Well, then I would imagine you should maybe go to
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: a different sport, or just go to a different county.
- 1:31:28Speaker 8: Or walk away from together because it's not compulsory and
- 1:31:32Speaker 8: that I'm not against people getting what it is they
- 1:31:35Speaker 8: feel like they're worth. I'm just saying I find umbrage
- 1:31:40Speaker 8: with the fact that people would volunteer to put themselves
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: in certain situations and then demand that you give them
- 1:31:48Speaker 8: something for my deciding to show up here on my own, Like,
- 1:31:52Speaker 8: why am I giving you extra stuff because you want
- 1:31:55Speaker 8: it to be here, That's what you told me.
- 1:31:56Speaker 7: But they and they put it out there, and there's
- 1:31:59Speaker 7: situations like we have been stressing to things that we
- 1:32:03Speaker 7: see as officials, what can help and bring in other
- 1:32:06Speaker 7: officials and younger and it won't be such a strain
- 1:32:09Speaker 7: of everybody saying, hey, you pay us this or pay
- 1:32:11Speaker 7: us that.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: It's a lot of things that go along with this.
- 1:32:14Speaker 7: The high school associations just have to come together with
- 1:32:18Speaker 7: the National High School Federation. I'm just saying they need
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: to grab it before it gets out of hand, because
- 1:32:23Speaker 7: pretty soon, once everybody starts making money out of this,
- 1:32:26Speaker 7: amateurism is going out the window as we see it
- 1:32:29Speaker 7: from the college and that it possibly filtered down what
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: it's gonna filter down to the high school level, and
- 1:32:35Speaker 7: then you're gonna expect and the referees to be like
- 1:32:37Speaker 7: the college officials.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: They will not.
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: Okay, trust me, your union will start unionizing. The job
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: will become harder to get. Yeah, and the expectations and
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: the requirements for you to become that will become harder.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: It won't be just shut down here with your license,
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: your credit rapport and something that says you've never been
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: to jail. You're going to have to start doing the
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: real test of the college and the pro level. Well,
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: and I've done that. We do that, we go to college,
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: where you going to that same scrutiny. Yeah, it's under
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: that if you if you miss, if you're late, if
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: you're it'll all moved together. But for right now, for
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: what you're asking, I'm saying that it's just refereeing as
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: a civil opportunity.
- 1:33:28Speaker 8: It was never supposed to be about what it paid,
- 1:33:32Speaker 8: the same way that fast food jobs were supposed to
- 1:33:34Speaker 8: be entry level workforce positions. This is where I developed
- 1:33:39Speaker 8: my work ethic, This is where I developed my work
- 1:33:44Speaker 8: regimen and how to be on time and learn to
- 1:33:47Speaker 8: manage money. It was never meant for me to support
- 1:33:50Speaker 8: a family of six people. And so you know now
- 1:33:53Speaker 8: that I want twenty eight dollars an hour. It's it's
- 1:33:58Speaker 8: not working because it was meant to support people that way,
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: if that makes sense.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: So it sounds like you might want to just step
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: away until it becomes actual job.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: No, I'm not stepping away. I'm just saying that they
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: need to.
- 1:34:15Speaker 7: Okay, let me give you an example, like for the summers,
- 1:34:18Speaker 7: and I'm just being for real, Like AAU basketball they
- 1:34:22Speaker 7: charge the parents for a weekend pass for fifty dollars.
- 1:34:25Speaker 7: You have like all us referees there. You know they've
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: been I've been refereeing for over twenty years. They still
- 1:34:31Speaker 7: giving guys twenty five dollars for those games and then
- 1:34:36Speaker 7: they're wondering why they have a hard time scheduling people
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: for those games and different things. At all, I'm saying
- 1:34:41Speaker 7: because if we see the monetary of what you're doing
- 1:34:45Speaker 7: as a promoter for this AU and bringing in all this,
- 1:34:48Speaker 7: and then you want to well, that's just like at.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: The that's just like the.

- 1:35:30Speaker 4: Let's see if I can give him a quick example.
- 1:35:32Speaker 4: So you're running a club and tonight I thought two
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: hundred people was gonna show up, but six hundred people
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: showed up. The bartender that you hired at the wage

- 1:35:47Speaker 4: over and tell you, oh.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: If it's more people, she gonna get more. They're gonna
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: get more tips. No, that ain't on you. I don't
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: care what the tips you're paying me.
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: Fifteen dollars, I see that I need one hundred dollars now,
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: And that's what you're saying. That's what you're saying.

- 1:39:18Speaker 4: Jenny, Welcome back to this WR shock show. I'm this
- 1:39:21Speaker 4: sport shock, Wayne Gandee. Time Person of the Year is
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: Donald Trump. Time Athlete of the Year is Caitlyn Clark.
- 1:39:33Speaker 26: Uh.
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: The young woman for the last two years has been
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: the biggest conversation, the biggest name. I don't know anyone
- 1:39:44Speaker 4: in sports that has been more iconic over the last
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: twenty four months than Caitlyn Clark. If you know someone,
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: please share that name with me. She has dominated the headlines.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: She's coming on the scrutiny. In her interview with Time Magazines,
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: some people feel like she conceded to the woke generation,
- 1:40:08Speaker 4: which it would be her. Caitlyn Clark. She's twenty two
- 1:40:13Speaker 4: years old. She has been criticized and put down and
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: called a whole bunch of things just for being great
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: at playing basketball the woke generation. In this interview, she
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: even basically apologized for being white. Guys like, she sorry
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: that she is white, and that's kind of how people
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: have gone at her. Wow in this idea that nothing
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: she does is real because she's doing it as a
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: white woman athlete. Hasn't that kind of been how she's
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: been a act.
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:41:02Speaker 8: I think that, or at least it's been portrayed that
- 1:41:08Speaker 8: all of the all of the admiration, the progress, the
- 1:41:19Speaker 8: the the love that she has gotten isn't because she's
- 1:41:24Speaker 8: an a stellar athlete. That's how they've been trying to
- 1:41:27Speaker 8: portray her. I don't see how that makes her give
- 1:41:30Speaker 8: in to the woke. But every time you turn around,
- 1:41:33Speaker 8: somebody is blaming the media for loving or the fans
- 1:41:38Speaker 8: for loving Caitlin Clark just because she's white. It's got
- 1:41:41Speaker 8: nothing to do with the thirty eight points that she drops.
- 1:41:44Speaker 8: It's got nothing to do with the fact that she'll
- 1:41:46Speaker 8: shoot a fifty two foot three.
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: Pointer seven times in one game. It's because she's white.
- 1:41:53Speaker 8: And doing that. Now if you put people side by
- 1:41:56Speaker 8: side and go, okay, put the next person next to
- 1:41:59Speaker 8: her that's able to do that, and then we start
- 1:42:03Speaker 8: having those conversations. That's what I don't see how she's
- 1:42:07Speaker 8: come out on some any man. I'm so sorry I
- 1:42:09Speaker 8: hit them points because I'm white. She just on some playball,
- 1:42:12Speaker 8: is what I've been seeing.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: Well, com man, she it seems that after year of
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: being especially in the WNBA, maybe that has worn on
- 1:42:22Speaker 4: her that kind of isolation to feel that way at
- 1:42:28Speaker 4: the next level.
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: Yeah, because it seems to be coming from like in
- 1:42:32Speaker 6: two different ways that yeah, they don't people don't like that,
- 1:42:38Speaker 6: like as a white woman, she's getting this kind of
- 1:42:40Speaker 6: attention no matter how well she's actually playing. And then
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: from some who are like turned on her that were
- 1:42:49Speaker 6: fans of her because she's not aligning with, you know,
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: certain political beliefs or certain ideologies, so they can't she
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: can't be used as an example for for someone's political agenda,
- 1:43:10Speaker 6: and so she it's coming from from different ways.
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: So that I hate that she said what she said.
- 1:43:18Speaker 7: I think that's all to me opinion of pr it's
- 1:43:22Speaker 7: because a lot of depression that's like coming from both sides,
- 1:43:26Speaker 7: and you're in the middle, and all she wants to
- 1:43:27Speaker 7: do is play basketball. I mean, I just wish she's
- 1:43:33Speaker 7: just to give into that walk crowd to not just
- 1:43:37Speaker 7: be just to who you are. You a baller, and
- 1:43:40Speaker 7: no matter what color your skin is, you could ball
- 1:43:42Speaker 7: out and just play ball.
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: Kenny, before you make that statement, I want to say,
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: I've earned every single thing. But as a white person,
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: there is privilege. A lot of those players in the
- 1:43:54Speaker 4: league that have been really good have been black. This
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: league has kind of been built on them. Did you
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: see the WNBA being built?
- 1:44:06Speaker 8: Well, you said something very important when we started this story.
- 1:44:11Speaker 8: Caitlin Clark is twenty two years old. That's a very
- 1:44:14Speaker 8: influential age, well easily influenced age where you care about
- 1:44:19Speaker 8: your peers, you care about what people say, you're on
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: social media, and it's one of those where that influence.
- 1:44:26Speaker 8: All it has to be is repetitive and you start
- 1:44:29Speaker 8: to kind of believe. But you know, words hit as
- 1:44:33Speaker 8: hard as a fist. If we're to believe some of it,
- 1:44:35Speaker 8: we got to believe all of it. So if you
- 1:44:37Speaker 8: tell me I'm not woke enough enough times, then I
- 1:44:40Speaker 8: might start going man I'm woken, and then why should
- 1:44:44Speaker 8: be that woke?
- 1:44:45Speaker 7: And then she's probably you know, you probably have people
- 1:44:47Speaker 7: they went from commercial to private flights.
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: That's not on you, Caitlyn.
- 1:44:52Speaker 7: I mean, that's not your fault that it wins and
- 1:44:54Speaker 7: the team they finally went in the budget and asked
- 1:44:56Speaker 7: for some money, Hey let's fly to these girls private
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: some other things that they were afforded. Is just that
- 1:45:02Speaker 7: the fact not only because of u KLN. There's some
- 1:45:04Speaker 7: other players that's coming in there.
- 1:45:06Speaker 8: Well, and I'm saying and everybody, every other player, she
- 1:45:10Speaker 8: runs into, every other coach, every other broadcaster is looking
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: at her like, yeah, we find private should have been
- 1:45:18Speaker 8: doing it, but white girl had to come along for us.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: We're not satisfied that we finally got a private flight.
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: We just want to go. We don't like it should
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: have been.
- 1:45:28Speaker 8: And I'm sitting here, I'm sitting here in my first
- 1:45:31Speaker 8: class private seat, and you walk past me on some
- 1:45:36Speaker 8: well if you think you all that, and now I'm
- 1:45:38Speaker 8: on some man, it's the same.
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: Thing with money and sports. N I L I sit
- 1:45:42Speaker 4: around with a bunch of athletes and they sit in
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: Stell Harbor. Feelings from thirty years ago about the nil
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: and it's like, I have no feeling about that.
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: You was all you could. You was born in the
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: wrong time. Wrong time got said a lot of time.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: That's why I applaud we'll see Jason Kelsey and Andrew
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: Whitworth because I remember a time where they gave no
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: love to the old line zero. But I lived long
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: enough to see, man, they got an old line and people,
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: I'm like, no, they you don't care. They're finally starting
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: to see that how valuable, or that there's another side.
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: We're not just some people sitting around eating large steaks
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: and potatos. We actually can put on a shirt and
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: have a conversation and all these kind of things. And
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: I think with the Caitlin Clark and he went to
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: WNB a time, the pendulum swung to where even the
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: owners are taking a gamble. They're gambling, yeah, that the
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: success that is here is going to stay. Yes, Yes,
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: that's what they're gambling at it'll continue. That's why they
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: went with the planes that we've got.
- 1:46:52Speaker 8: We've got a groundswell that people will support from this
- 1:46:55Speaker 8: point for We'll.
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: Be back with more the Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: Don't go away.

- 1:50:09Speaker 4: There is word coming out of that Buffalo forty nine
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: er game last week. Mom is seeking justice for her
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: eight year old son. She says was purposely pushed by
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: a Bill's fan at the game. Also, the eight year
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: old is just survived about of cancer, Bill's mania, Baby
- 1:50:36Speaker 4: Meal's mafia. It goes with the Bill mafia jumping on table.
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: It makes sense, day come because you know this a
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: little eight year old youself at all time he got
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: on opposing team Jesse.
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: I'm saying now, I'm saying, I'm asking you what kind
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: of environment you put your child in?
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: No, I came here to see the game. I got
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: my Jim Kelly Jersey on. Okay, you got your Jim Kelly.

- 1:51:17Speaker 1: with us? Ain't he with us? I thought it was
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: somewhere he was in an opposing jersey.
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: He was about the kid. The kid, yeah, oh he
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: was in a forty nine ers. He's a forty nine
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: ers and you brought him to the Bills game.
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:51:31Speaker 8: It was as child neglect. I'm saying no, No, I'm
- 1:51:34Speaker 8: saying maybe the county old to look into that. That's
- 1:51:36Speaker 8: child endangerment. Why would you do that to your kid?
- 1:51:39Speaker 8: He ate he can't squabble up like that if the
- 1:51:42Speaker 8: mafia get out of hand.
- 1:51:43Speaker 4: He beat cancer. It was his first game, first NFL cancer.
- 1:51:46Speaker 4: Ain't had no no Jim Kelly Jersey on and I'm not.
- 1:51:50Speaker 4: I'm not dis missing beating cancer. It's awesome feet But
- 1:51:54Speaker 4: don't nobody know that about you when you show up?
- 1:51:57Speaker 4: You know, I'm just forty nine ers.
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: Check.
- 1:51:58Speaker 4: I'm hoping that the state that you're taking it too far.
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: Sixteen what Kevin, what the kids say? We didn't pushed age?
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: I'm saying, what did an eight year old safe prior
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: to being pushed.
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: Is that in.
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: That's not in it. I just had on a little
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: Parker and school cap.
- 1:52:19Speaker 8: And then he said and then right, and then he
- 1:52:22Speaker 8: came with the see I'm saying I was cool up
- 1:52:25Speaker 8: into that park I was cool. And then when the
- 1:52:27Speaker 8: gold Niners, I wasn't trying to hurt him. But you
- 1:52:30Speaker 8: you gonna learn about cod Niners up in section thirty
- 1:52:34Speaker 8: six C.
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: That's all I'm games not up here. I don't know
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: what kind of games we play, but we don't play Golden.
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: From San Francisco. He getting used to it. You know,
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: we don't play gold Niner. He's got to learn to
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: do that all pushing kids around.
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: I hear you, big Kenny de saudeast having been awarded
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: the World Cup in twenty thirty four, correct command, Yes, okay, okay?
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: Where would it be held?
- 1:52:58Speaker 28: You know?
- 1:53:01Speaker 8: Is this when those floating skies come in to uh
- 1:53:06Speaker 8: Remember we did the story on how they were trying
- 1:53:08Speaker 8: to have a soccer tournament but it was too hot
- 1:53:12Speaker 8: in the summers in Saudi Arabia, so they were inventing
- 1:53:16Speaker 8: these stadium covers that were operated by propellers and they
- 1:53:21Speaker 8: were supposed to float over the stadium during the game
- 1:53:23Speaker 8: to increase the cool factor.
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: Y'all remember that story. I vaguely remember that. I didn't know,
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: but I didn't make that up. But sounds like but
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: they had.
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: Just like when it was in in in Guitar years ago,
- 1:53:40Speaker 6: they built new stadiums, so that was probably part of
- 1:53:43Speaker 6: their proposal that they would have these new stadiums with
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: that kind of technology.
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown of the Eagles UH say
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: that Brendan Graham miss spoke that they have a great
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: relationship ship. This coming out of last week's victory. As
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: we talked about on Monday Show, where the Eagles won
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: the game. They're eleven and two. AJ Brown says the
- 1:54:12Speaker 4: passing game is just not up to standard. Big Kenny
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: and blaming Jalen Hurts or excuse me, he's just blaming
- 1:54:21Speaker 4: the offense in general. But they're eleven in two. We
- 1:54:24Speaker 4: couldn't figure out the issue. They got enough passing game now.
- 1:54:30Speaker 8: I don't know if you, well, you don't do social media,
- 1:54:32Speaker 8: so you don't know about the translate tab or you
- 1:54:35Speaker 8: can just someone can type in a foreign language and
- 1:54:38Speaker 8: then you hit it and it tells them exactly what
- 1:54:41Speaker 8: you're saying in your language.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: Okay, what Brown is trying to say is I'm finna
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: get traded. It's what he.
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: I mean, because you're making noise with Don't nobody need
- 1:54:52Speaker 8: to be making no noise now?
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: They bad? Time is eleven o'clock. It's eleven thirty.
- 1:54:57Speaker 8: Ain't nobody came in here and said nothing to us? Yeah,
- 1:55:00Speaker 8: and you want to have a dance off. He played
- 1:55:05Speaker 8: in the SEC, so you know it's an SEC team.
- 1:55:07Speaker 8: Were friendly team. I mean, he's up there and winning.
- 1:55:10Speaker 8: You know these guys. He should be happy, but he's unhappy.
- 1:55:14Speaker 8: And that's my point of receiver. He wants the ball,
- 1:55:17Speaker 8: but you but I mean, dude, stay healthy. You haven't
- 1:55:21Speaker 8: been healthy all season. And there they're gonna work it in.
- 1:55:23Speaker 8: I mean, it's not like Jalen doesn't well.
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: The one position that cannot survive without stardom is receivers.
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: Receivers really only want to win if they are the catalysts.
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: Why. That's really how they stand out on the field.
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: They only want to win if.
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: They would rather have fifteen catches for two hundred yards
- 1:55:54Speaker 4: and a loss then three catches for fifteen yards in
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: a win. They can only survive with being front and
- 1:56:06Speaker 4: center of the show. They have no humbleness to them.
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: It's part of the d n A. I'm talking about
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: the great ones that are quiet to the loud ones.
- 1:56:24Speaker 4: I'm talking about from Andre Rising to rush my man
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: from the coats. They all still take the field with.
- 1:56:39Speaker 25: Me.
- 1:56:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna need me, and I don't really care about
- 1:56:44Speaker 4: what y'all gonna do because as an organization, eleven and
- 1:56:48Speaker 4: one that's pretty good.
- 1:56:51Speaker 8: I'm saying eleven to one would have been better, but
- 1:56:53Speaker 8: eleven and two I'm satisfied with that.
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: I don't think we need to be making any draft change.
- 1:56:58Speaker 4: I'm sorry, you're never gonna get a middle line and
- 1:57:00Speaker 4: backer like man, you know we eleven and two, but
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: I ain't getting.
- 1:57:02Speaker 8: Three tackles today. Right Well, I'm saying, how does this
- 1:57:07Speaker 8: and how go to the media? How does an organization
- 1:57:10Speaker 8: handle that?
- 1:57:11Speaker 19: Do they?
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: Boys? Shut up? You're lucky you're still getting paid. You
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:57:17Speaker 4: I don't understand. This is why those conversations the best situation.
- 1:57:22Speaker 8: I don't understand why I wouldn't have a conversation like
- 1:57:25Speaker 8: that with him, Like, look, man, sit down and shut up.
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: You're getting on my nerves and we are in the ocean.
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your to the ocean.
- 1:57:38Speaker 35: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports June
- 1:57:41Speaker 35: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: A castro Go b we is as an ocean.
- 1:58:15Speaker 4: Gets to swatch out Tessa minute Tavin. We'd like to
- 1:58:17Speaker 4: thank you for tuning in to today's show. Remember Thursday
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: night football. My team the La Rams at the forty
- 1:58:26Speaker 4: nine ers, Go Rams. This weekend, big game in the
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: Armed Forces, Army versus.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: Navy, Go Navy, Gonaves.
- 1:58:37Speaker 4: We have been said, we got the Celebration Bowl, we
- 1:58:42Speaker 4: got the Heisman Trophy. Let's go Travis Hunter Collins Hill's
- 1:58:47Speaker 4: Finest And then Monday, I'll tell you about all the
- 1:58:50Speaker 4: great high school action we have as well.
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: But going to ocean today once again, I gotta throw
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: the shield in the ocean.
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: I'll pick it up. You know, me and the ship
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: we love each other to death. But and I'm not
- 1:59:06Speaker 4: talking about the jay Z rule. I'm talking about NFL
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: considering replay assistance on face masks penalties, which face mask penalties.
- 1:59:21Speaker 1: Which which one of them?
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: On every play there's somebody out of the twenty two
- 1:59:27Speaker 4: people on the field that hit the other player in
- 1:59:30Speaker 4: the face mask, which one sometimes just to stop a
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: man from bull rushing me. I hit him in the
- 1:59:37Speaker 4: face mask, Jase. I got to get him off of
- 1:59:40Speaker 4: he two ninety he binged five hundred pounds and he
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: run a four to five some kind of way. I
- 1:59:44Speaker 4: gotta get him to understand, man, it ain't gonna be
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: like that today.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: You know what I do.
- 1:59:48Speaker 4: I take my right hand and my left hand. I
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: hit him in the face mask. So you're gonna call
- 1:59:52Speaker 4: that or you're gonna call the next play when he
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: gets revenge on me.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: I got something for you.
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: Sell them to two steps in a which face masks
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: is y'all talking about? We can have a whole game
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: of face mass penalties. Y'all let one or two plays
- 2:00:08Speaker 4: consistently make y'all change rolls. A couple of years ago
- 2:00:12Speaker 4: it was the Saints, and what is past interference? Now
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: it is one foot in or two feet in? He
- 2:00:20Speaker 4: can I push him out of bounds? Or why do
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: y'all need so many rule changes? Can we just play
- 2:00:27Speaker 4: football depending on swings both ways? And you Monday morning
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: chair quarterbacks out there that think y'all can call everything
- 2:00:39Speaker 4: in the drop of a hat. Football is not perfect.
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: Next thing you know, we'll have robots calling balls and strikes.
- 2:00:48Speaker 4: Oh so for that, NFL just another way to slow
- 2:00:58Speaker 4: down the game, Like we'll be kidding the funny man
- 2:01:11Speaker 4: himself a bad producer and command sheep Greg.
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: As we always say on Thursday, we'll see you in
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: the future. Peace,
