Speaker 1: I think what we need to do is to do the synchronized wave.
• 1:05
  Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: Yeah the other hand, bars.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: While we're doing this, the other hand bars.

Speaker 2: We saw a little youngster popping in the view there.
• 1:47
Speaker 4: We had to help her.
• 1:48
Speaker 4: There's something in here.
• 1:50
Speaker 3: Come on up, come out, wherever you are.
• 1:54
Speaker 4: They're talking to you, buddy.
• 1:58
Speaker 3: Oh, there he is.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: Now, is that an option for that year?
• 2:03
Speaker 2: It's an option for that year.
• 2:05
  Speaker 2: You installed that.
• 2:08
  Speaker 4: It's a one-of-one, yes, a one-of-one.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, priceless, there you go.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: Yeah indeed, that is true.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: So what is that?
• 2:17
Speaker 1: That's got to be a pickup truck.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: It looks like a Chevy.
• 2:21
Speaker 4: It is, it's kind of a flame.
• 2:24
Speaker 4: Ooh, look at the flames.
• 2:25
Speaker 4: Heavy it is, it's kind of a flames but here's the whole part.
• 2:29
Speaker 3: He's hiding it holy toledo.
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: What is that?
• 2:34
Speaker 3: it's big that is a uh, it's not electric big block.
• 2:37
Speaker 4: A hemi headed big block, chevy hemi headed big block chevy.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: I didn't know they made uh hemi heads for a chevy.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: Hemi-headed big block Chevy.
• 2:46
  Speaker 4: I didn't know.
• 2:46
Speaker 4: They made Hemi heads for a Chevy.
• 2:47
  Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a thing.
• 2:48
  Speaker 4: Arius makes them.
• 2:50
  Speaker 4: It's a cool package.
• 2:51
Speaker 4: The cool thing is it runs on 93 octane.
• 2:53
Speaker 4: Really, yeah the guy, it's his little fun driver.
• 2:58
Speaker 4: It doesn't have a roll cage so they're not going to let it on the strip and he just has fun with it.
• 3:03
Speaker 4: But man, it sounds wicked when you fire it up.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: I was going to say does it run now?
• 3:08
  Speaker 4: It does.
• 3:09
Speaker 4: I don't want to be the guy to fire it up because there's a process, but he fired it up for us when he dropped it off and you're not going to sneak around in this truck.
• 3:19
Speaker 3: So don't come home at 3 o'clock in the morning trying to sneak in the driveway.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Don't tell home at 3 o'clock in the morning trying to sneak in the driveway.
• 3:23
Speaker 1: Don't tell me it's got open headers.
• 3:26
Speaker 4: No, no, no, it's got exhaust.
• 3:26
Speaker 4: If you look at the right there it's got exhaust, but it ain't doing much.
• 3:34
Speaker 4: I'll tell you that much.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: How long have you had this?
• 3:38
Speaker 1: How long have you been working on it?
• 3:41
Speaker 4: The truck just got here.
• 3:42
Speaker 4: We've been working on it for a while.
• 3:44
Speaker 4: We've got the fenders.
• 3:46
Speaker 4: It had a we'll just call it a real fire flame job.
• 3:50
  Speaker 3: Oh.
• 3:52
Speaker 4: And the front end got burned up.
• 3:53
Speaker 4: So we've repaired all that and we're putting it all back together now.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: Well, hopefully it's not going to catch fire again.
• 4:01
Speaker 4: Well agreed, you know.
• 4:03
Speaker 2: I think it needs suicide doors rather than the standard opening.
• 4:07
  Speaker 4: That's what I would yeah, I, I couldn't.
• 4:10
Speaker 4: Yeah, that'd be all right.
• 4:11
Speaker 4: I'm not gonna do it, but that'd be all right be a good option.
• 4:17
Speaker 2: I like it anyhow.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: What else you got?
• 4:19
Speaker 4: something fun, yeah, um, let's see, I'll walk you over here.
• 4:26
Speaker 2: Now you say that's the customers.
• 4:27
Speaker 2: How long is the process that you've had it and when's it going to be leaving?
• 4:33
Speaker 4: It's been a process of months.
• 4:34
Speaker 4: I'm going to flip the camera around here.
• 4:35
Speaker 4: Sorry for my finger there.
• 4:36
  Speaker 4: This one is.
• 4:39
Speaker 4: We just got it back from a buddy in Michigan who's helping us get all the driveline and the engine and tuning taken care of.
• 4:46
Speaker 4: This is a 55 Chevy, Wow.
• 4:50
Speaker 4: That is on a Morrison independent rear suspension chassis, so it's a fully independent chassis.
• 4:58
Speaker 4: It has the LT4 and 8-speed automatic that you would normally see in, say, a modern GL1 Camaro.
• 5:08
  Speaker 4: Yeah, header.
• 5:08
Speaker 2: Wrap and everything Are those wrapped headers.
• 5:11
Speaker 4: Yeah, we've wrapped the headers.
• 5:12
Speaker 4: The exhaust is unwrapped but it will get rewrapped because we did some mods to the exhaust.
• 5:19
Speaker 4: I didn't like how it sounded, so we've added this this h pipe back here in the back to sort of balance out the sound, get rid of some of the just had that sort of old glass pack sound yeah, a little pop in it which it did and it was annoying and I just didn't like it.
• 5:35
Speaker 4: But there you can see the, the, the fun part, that's the independent rear suspension nice and uh, it's a neat project.
• 5:46
Speaker 4: How long have you had?
• 5:48
  Speaker 2: that one there.
• 5:52
Speaker 4: Pardon me, how long has it been in the shop?
• 5:56
Speaker 3: Gosh, I'm embarrassed to say it, but about three years over the course of time.
• 5:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, in and out kind of thing.
• 5:58
Speaker 3: So are these going to be any?
• 6:00
Speaker 2: special tricks with your special paint.
• 6:01
Speaker 2: Any creativity going on in any of these?
• 6:02
Speaker 2: Well, in this one, admittedly.
• 6:03
Speaker 2: No, this is a Porsche.
• 6:03
Speaker 4: Special tricks with your special paint any creativity going on any of these.
• 6:05
Speaker 4: Well, and this one, I admittedly know this is a porsche color, it's called chalk, and then a black roof.
• 6:12
Speaker 4: It'll kind of have a, hopefully, a contemporary look.
• 6:15
Speaker 4: Uh, without, without being too gaudy.
• 6:19
Speaker 4: One thing we did do, and it's hard to tell, with it up in the air, but the wheel wells here.
• 6:26
Speaker 4: We raised them about three inches.
• 6:29
Speaker 4: You did Just enough that you can get the dang wheel off now.
• 6:36
Speaker 1: Let me ask you let's go into that for just a minute.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: So how did you actually take off the lip and then reposition it, or did you make a new one?
• 6:49
Speaker 4: The first, the first option.
• 6:51
Speaker 4: Reposition yeah it was cut cut, a relief area was cut out, it was literally slid upward, yep, and then you sort of fill in the gaps so to speak.
• 7:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense.
• 7:02
Speaker 2: Sort of like chopping, but in reverse.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: How do you Kind of Do you do that work?
• 7:09
  Speaker 4: In this case.
• 7:10
Speaker 4: No, I sublet it out to a good friend of mine who no longer lives in Texas, sadly, but he is one of those guys that could take a flat sheet of metal and build you a Duesenberg.
• 7:21
Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, oh wow and it was right up his alley and he did a beautiful job making it look like it belongs there.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: I was just going to say, had you not pointed that out, I would have never guessed that.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: Because, back in my day they just took a cutting torch and just rounded it off with the wheel.
• 7:39
Speaker 4: Exactly A hammer and die.
• 7:40
  Speaker 4: That is a look I don't enjoy.
• 7:43
Speaker 4: On these cars On the drag strip it's fine, but uh, on these cars when it's going to be on the street and it's got to look, you know, somewhat original well, yeah, uh, they didn't they didn't want to run that effect so is this a daily driver for this customer, or is this going to be a showpiece?
• 8:02
Speaker 4: I wouldn't say a daily, but it is expected to perform and behave.
• 8:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, that was one of the reasons I had it at my friend's shop in Michigan.
• 8:10
Speaker 4: He is a good friend with a fellow named Mark McPhail.
• 8:14
Speaker 4: Mark McPhail used to run GM Performance for years and he did all the tuning on this car.
• 8:20
Speaker 4: So not only did it make power but he tuned it for drivability, the upshifting, the downshifting, just the manners that it has and, above and beyond, the Banzai run, you know.
• 8:35
Speaker 3: Is that why the headers are wrapped so far?
• 8:37
Speaker 3: I mean, you've got them double wrapped.
• 8:39
Speaker 4: it looks like it's kind of it's.
• 8:41
  Speaker 4: It's a look I like.
• 8:42
Speaker 4: I like the look of the uh.
• 8:44
Speaker 4: Let me get in the right spot here.
• 8:46
Speaker 4: I like the look of this.
• 8:48
Speaker 4: This uh heat shield products wrap.
• 8:50
Speaker 4: It's not necessary from a corrosion standpoint.
• 8:55
Speaker 4: These are it's all stainless steel exhaust all the way through.
• 8:59
Speaker 3: But the uh it's a heat control thing and I kind of like how it looks well, that's the only reason I've ever seen it was was heat control and and I I kind of like how it looks.
• 9:05
Speaker 3: Well, that's the only reason I've ever seen it was heat control and I was just curious because I couldn't imagine it being heat, but it sounds like it's aesthetics and several reasons.
• 9:13
Speaker 1: Randy, you said that you sent it up to your buddy in Michigan.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: I mean, did you take it up there yourself or did you put it on a car carrier and have it sent up there?
• 9:22
Speaker 4: We took it in the new ATC trailer.
• 9:25
  Speaker 4: It's something I enjoy doing.
• 9:28
Speaker 4: I like the road trips so I don't mind doing that kind of stuff.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: What is that about a 1,400-mile trip?
• 9:33
  Speaker 4: Approximately yeah.
• 9:35
Speaker 4: When you've got the right people on the job, it's well worth the effort.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: So you waited while he did it, and then you towed it back, so you waited while he did it and then you towed it back.
• 9:45
Speaker 4: My friend up there had the car for about a year doing wiring and other things the car needed and then when it came time to tune, it is when I went back.
• 9:56
Speaker 4: I was part of the tuning process just because I was fascinated to watch how it all happens and then, yes, hauled it back home.
• 10:07
Speaker 1: Was it tuned on a?
• 10:08
Speaker 4: dyno yes, a chassis dyno, yep.
• 10:10
Speaker 4: So one of the things I didn't think about, but is obviously critical we had to make sure the rear wheels were aligned so that when we, you know, had it on the dyno, the thing went in a straight line and tried to go sideways.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, trying to come off the dyno because it's not lined up right.
• 10:29
Speaker 3: So it had to be basically drivable to do the tune Indeed indeed.
• 10:40
Speaker 4: Randy, is there a chassis dyno here in town that you use?
• 10:43
Speaker 4: There are a couple Pite's Performance I've used in the past.
• 10:47
Speaker 4: There's another one and I'm not quite sure if he's still there anymore, so I hesitate to throw the name out.
• 10:51
Speaker 4: But yeah, there are Well.
• 10:54
Speaker 1: I'm looking for a Corvette chassis dyno tuner.
• 10:59
  Speaker 4: That's Pites.
• 10:59
Speaker 4: He specializes in vets.
• 11:01
Speaker 4: And what's his name?
• 11:04
  Speaker 4: Pites?
• 11:05
  Speaker 4: P-e-i-t-z.
• 11:05
Speaker 4: I believe it is Just like it sounds.
• 11:08
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd never guess that.
• 11:11
Speaker 4: Funny how that works.
• 11:12
Speaker 4: Anyway, he's really good, especially with these new C8s.
• 11:16
  Speaker 4: Well, I've got a C5 with an LS1 in it.
• 11:24
Speaker 4: If he likes to go back to school, yeah, it'll be memory lane for him.
• 11:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, just a 10-millimeter is all he needs, he's certainly capable.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'll get his number from you when we're off the air.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
• 11:37
Speaker 1: When you redo cars, do you typically do a chassis tune on these cars?
• 11:49
  Speaker 4: yes?
• 11:49
Speaker 4: The answer is yes, simply because drivability is of paramount importance to us.
• 11:55
Speaker 4: It's one thing to make horsepower and that's cool and all, but if you want to get out and drive these things and and use them and and not regret getting in them, them and want to throw it back in the garage and walk away from it, it should be fun.
• 12:10
Speaker 4: It should be able to shift and brake and turn and do all the things we expect cars to do.
• 12:16
Speaker 4: That's the reason you put all this modern hardware in these old classic bodies.
• 12:22
Speaker 1: Well, good point, yeah.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: Classic bodies Well good point, yeah.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: And I was wondering because you know so many times.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: Well, I've got this chip, I'm going to put in my car and it's an LS swap and I'm going to put it in there.
• 12:38
Speaker 1: And for me, I come from the school of just guessing hey, this guy has this, this guy has that, I'm going to put that on my car.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: Then I don't really follow through with things like a chassis tune, or will it work, or will it work.
• 12:52
Speaker 4: Yeah, agreed, and thank gosh for people that know how to do the tuning Cause it's above my pay grade and you just you find a good one and he's worth his weight in race fuel.
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: That's a good way to put it.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: So what do you got elsewhere in the garage there for us to look at this morning?
• 13:14
Speaker 4: I'll flip you back around here this Cutlass I was pointing at a moment ago.
• 13:17
  Speaker 4: Yeah, 68 convertible.
• 13:21
  Speaker 2: That's been there a while.
• 13:23
  Speaker 4: It has convertible.
• 13:26
Speaker 4: That's been there a while it has.
• 13:27
Speaker 4: We're finally getting near the ready to pull it off the chassis and get it into a paint job mode.
• 13:31
Speaker 4: It's an LS3, but dressed out like an Oldsmobile, so it'll appear to be an Oldsmobile even though it's not.
• 13:37
Speaker 1: I love the Oldsmobile gold paint on the engine.
• 13:40
Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, me too.
• 13:42
Speaker 4: We're fitting up the radiator.
• 13:45
Speaker 4: Now it's a ron davis unit it it has.
• 13:47
Speaker 4: It's called a pwm fan, which is what all the modern cars use.
• 13:51
Speaker 4: Pulse width, pulse width modulation.
• 13:55
Speaker 4: Say that one time normal that's all right um, what it does, is it?
• 14:00
Speaker 4: it think of it like a rheostat on the the lighting in your home.
• 14:03
Speaker 4: It can speed up and slow down the fan motor, so it's not always just full blast.
• 14:09
Speaker 4: How often have you heard a car coming in the Saturday night cruise and all you hear is the fan going full blast?
• 14:17
Speaker 1: Exactly, and the new cars don't do that.
• 14:21
Speaker 4: Exactly correct and exactly correct.
• 14:22
Speaker 4: That's what the pwm setup allows.
• 14:25
Speaker 4: That to be tuned where it only needs.
• 14:28
Speaker 4: It only uses the fan as it needs it, and then when you're going down the highway, it'll turn it off because you don't need it.
• 14:33
  Speaker 4: Then, either.
• 14:34
Speaker 4: That actually becomes a restriction sure that interesting car so it's a convertible when you're going to have it done next year, I'd I'd say end of this year, not yeah, maybe towards the end of this year.
• 14:46
Speaker 4: It all depends on how soon we can get into an upholstery shop that's become a bottleneck in building cars.
• 14:53
Speaker 4: Is there's there's not a whole lot of fellas out there, or ladies that are certainly not in this area?
• 14:59
Speaker 4: If they're out there, I'd like to know about them that can do the upholsteries we're needing in these projects.
• 15:06
Speaker 1: You know I've heard you say that before and I know that your counterpart in the Hill Country, a couple of them actually.
• 15:13
Speaker 1: They have issues with that as well, keeping good upholsters and then, when one leaves, finding another one that's at the level that they're looking for.
• 15:24
Speaker 1: And some of these guys I mean some of them are young.
• 15:27
Speaker 1: Most of them are old because they've got the experience.
• 15:30
Speaker 2: Right, and if you've got a good upholsterer they're going to stay busy, so you're going to play a lot of games to get in there and get it done.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: Well, I'm thinking we need to have the paint house upholstery shop.
• 15:41
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 15:43
Speaker 4: I've tried there, the Paint House, upholstery Shop, there you go, I've tried.
• 15:46
Speaker 4: There's a couple folks through the years I've tried to convince to work out of our shop or help get them set up in the area and I don't blame them.
• 15:53
Speaker 4: They don't want the heat and neither do I at this point.
• 15:56
Speaker 4: But it's an art, just like all the metalworking.
• 16:01
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, absolutely, and not that painting and mechanics isn't an art form of its own, but there is something special about a guy that can sew properly and understand comfort and aesthetics and making for example, a big fella fit in a small space that kind of stuff and it's just hard to find.
• 16:23
Speaker 1: Well, you know, when you're talking about restorations and modifications at that level that you are, I mean, creativity plays a huge role in it, and you've got to be able to actually turn out not only the creative part of it, but the quality as well.
• 16:41
Speaker 4: Absolutely, and that is the thing We've had upholsteries done in the past where they were done out of texas, out of our climate, and three or four or five years later they're coming apart because they can't handle the heat and humidity.
• 16:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah we, we have to.
• 16:56
Speaker 1: We work with folks that understand that and you know it's funny because you, you, we don't think of that when we're all.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: I just want this material and I and I want to look this particular way.
• 17:06
Speaker 1: Let's not worry about what kind of thread we use and the material that's underneath the seat.
• 17:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, right, and it's kind of the same with paint bodywork Everybody sees the paint, but nothing matters more than what's underneath it, in the foundation, and that's true in the upholstery world too.
• 17:24
Speaker 4: Nothing matters more than what's underneath it, in the foundation, and that's true in the upholstery world too.
• 17:28
Speaker 4: You can build a door panel out of aluminum or a nice high-end acrylic material, or you can build a door panel out of cardboard and wood, and one is going to last a lot longer than the other.
• 17:39
  Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt.
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: Yeah, how's Jen.
• 17:43
Speaker 4: She's awesome, way better than I deserve.
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: I know.
• 17:46

Speaker 3: I just never think of him being that old to have grandchildren.
• 18:47
Speaker 2: But he's got, just like me, you never think of you.
• 18:48
  Speaker 2: We all do.
• 18:49
Speaker 2: In fact, there's a lot of listeners out there that comment on that, yeah, about how young I am.
• 18:53
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that, that too, yeah, yeah, you keep believing.

• 22:35
Speaker 2: And then they got some parking.
• 22:37
Speaker 2: They're parking at Bay Elementary School in Seabrook, just off of 146 in Seabrook.
• 22:43
Speaker 2: May 4th opens at 10 am to 5 through Sunday.
• 22:46
  Speaker 2: May 5th opens at 9 to 4.
• 22:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, and then I've got to do this.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, jeff's got a very special feature.
• 22:54
Speaker 1: Actually, when he told me he was going to do this, I thought, oh, somewhere and I have it.
• 22:59
Speaker 1: I don't have it with me right now, but I have the model car that I built back in the 60s, that, because I was going to Meijer Speedway and seeing all the 55 Chevys run around there in the sportsman class, I wrecked it, and so what I did was I heated up the front end and I smashed it in, so it looked like it hit the fence head on, you know in, so it looked like it hit the fence head on, you know.
• 23:26
Speaker 2: Then I got a story of that where years ago I had a little red wagon, a model of a little red wagon, yep, and we saw one the car, the little red wagon, the car, the little red wagon, which was a Dodge, and I think we saw it at like one of the events we were at and I told Jason.
• 23:40
Speaker 2: I said you know, I like that car.
• 23:41
Speaker 2: I had one when I was a kid.
• 23:42
Speaker 2: I explained it to him and, lo and behold, I think it was her birthday, or later on he got me the little red wagon model.
• 23:47
Speaker 2: He goes, Dad, I'll build it for you.
• 23:49
Speaker 2: Oh, he built it.
• 23:50
Speaker 2: Well, to this day that car is on a shelf in his garage, still in the box.
• 23:55
Speaker 2: He hasn't built it, yet Like all the projects, All the projects.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: He's got that 50 hot rod in there too.
• 24:07
Speaker 2: project when you can't move anymore, right, and you need something to do, right, take it down and build.
• 24:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll have to get a hold of him.
• 24:10
Speaker 2: He's gonna take the dust off it, but anyways, just looking at it and it's pretty good.
• 24:13
Speaker 2: So that the story of injection mold plastic, which is polystyrene of scale models, begins in the early 50s when the two businessmen lewis glaser in america, founder of Revell, we all know that and then Nicholas Cove out of the England side of it, founder of Airfix Independently they decided to work with injection molding and put together suitable plastic pieces for glue.
• 24:37
Speaker 2: So they worked on it and they came up with it.
• 24:41
Speaker 2: So it was pretty good.
• 24:41
Speaker 2: Model cars can be traced back to the early 1900s when the first original cars, the original cars, hit the road.
• 24:47
Speaker 2: It was after World War I and the European model makers produced tin plate cars and this was only for rich kids back then, back in the 1900s, tin cars, tin cars.
• 25:00
Speaker 2: So, as time passed, cars became increasingly popular among the hobbyists, and they started collecting them and customizing them.
• 25:06
Speaker 2: It was a hobby that required both patience and creativity, and an opportunity for individuals to express their passions for automobiles.
• 25:14
Speaker 1: Golly, I remember that you remember that, yes, okay.
• 25:17
Speaker 2: Well, it's an excellent educational tool for children hand-eye coordination, different types of models, and they get to look at the automobiles.
• 25:24
Speaker 1: See, I didn't think of it that way, but yeah, I get it and then they're studying the replicas.
• 25:29
Speaker 2: Dad's got a Pontiac and I've got a model of a Pontiac, whatever the case.
• 25:32
Speaker 2: So the hobby helped cultivate curiosity while encouraging some to seek out more information.
• 25:37
Speaker 2: Like you, melted the front end and pushed it in to make a custom crash Right.
• 25:42
Speaker 2: So some may argue that the model car collecting is nothing more than a past time.
• 25:46
Speaker 2: It's no significant value, You're just wasting your days away, but it fosters positive values.
• 25:52
Speaker 2: Hobbies like model car collecting encourage people to be more motivated, like you, Mike, patient and detail-oriented qualities that can help in their personal and professional lives.
• 26:03
Speaker 2: However, collectors still argue whether hand-built models or factory assemblies are worth the time spending it more on that project or doing other things.
• 26:12
Speaker 2: So materials are part of the skilled artisans, as they call it, investing carefully, artisans, artisans, artisans.
• 26:20
Speaker 2: Sure, artisan is a well, I think, well, we're going to dip into that well and give attention to detail.
• 26:26
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, there you go.
• 26:28
Speaker 2: So the evolution came full scale.
• 26:30
Speaker 2: There are people that still do it, there are enthusiasts out there, can you still?
• 26:33
  Speaker 2: buy them.
• 26:33
Speaker 2: You can, and here's the kicker you can go to like a Hobby Lobby and find them.
• 26:37
Speaker 2: You're not going to find a car that you see we build today, like that one there, for under 30 bucks.
• 26:49
  Speaker 2: Some are 40.
• 26:49
  Speaker 2: They're online.
• 26:50
Speaker 2: Some of the classics for 200 whoa, you're kidding.
• 26:51
Speaker 2: Like that, right there, you can buy if it's a classic and there's very hard to get a hold of.
• 26:54
Speaker 2: They don't make any more people collect them and you can buy one for around.
• 26:57
Speaker 2: You know, 150 to 200 collect them unassembled on the set.
• 27:00
Speaker 1: They collect them in a box, yeah, oh my gosh, is Revell still in business?
• 27:06
Speaker 2: Revell is still in business, amt is still in business.
• 27:08
Speaker 2: There's a couple others out there I don't want to say off-brands, but things I've never heard of but you can still buy them Chinese or something.
• 27:14
Speaker 2: Well, it could be.
• 27:15
Speaker 2: But you can go to your local hobby store or toy store or go to an event like we've been, an event like we've been.
• 27:22
  Speaker 3: The Autorama.
• 27:23
Speaker 1: The Autorama, specifically the Autorama or the Corvette we did down in Galveston there was a guy that had nothing but models and he was selling them and he had them in groups.
• 27:32
Speaker 2: He had all the Chevys in a group, he had all the Fords in a group.
• 27:35
Speaker 3: I remember that now I didn't stop and look at it.
• 27:37
Speaker 3: You've got time to do that don't you, morris, he's got patience.
• 27:39
  Speaker 1: I've seen that.
• 27:39
  Speaker 2: Patience.
• 27:40
Speaker 2: He does, he doesn't have time for that.
• 27:42
  Speaker 3: I've seen him.
• 27:43
Speaker 3: I've seen him do that.
• 27:43
Speaker 3: I had a dog named Patience once.
• 27:44
  Speaker 3: Did you Patience?
• 27:46
Speaker 3: That was the dog's name.
• 27:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the lady's name too.
