- 0:10Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Everybody?
- 0:11Speaker 2: Welcome into this edition of to Checho Daily. It's Andrew
- 0:14Speaker 2: de Checo here of Inside the Birds dot Com. And
- 0:17Speaker 2: it's Tuesday, which means it was coordinator day at the
- 0:20Speaker 2: Eagles Novacare Complex. Defensive coordinator Fic Fangio, special teams coordinator
- 0:24Speaker 2: Michael Clay and offensive coordinator Kevin Patulo answered a lot
- 0:29Speaker 2: of questions today that had to do with the Giants
- 0:32Speaker 2: game and how the Eagles might be able to rectify
- 0:36Speaker 2: things on those respective sides of the ball to head
- 0:39Speaker 2: things in the positive direction moving forward. And it was
- 0:42Speaker 2: a mini bye week, which means the Eagles had a
- 0:44Speaker 2: couple of extra days.
- 0:45Speaker 1: To gain plan for the Minnesota Vikings.
- 0:48Speaker 2: They're traveling to Minnesota this weekend and it's going to
- 0:51Speaker 2: be a challenging matchup because Brian Flores tends to throw
- 0:56Speaker 2: a lot at opposing quarterbacks defensively, and they have a
- 0:59Speaker 2: lot of pieces there that I think lend itself to
- 1:04Speaker 2: being able to have healthy rotations getting after the quarterback.
- 1:07Speaker 2: And that's not even to mention the offensive side of
- 1:10Speaker 2: the ball, where they have Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and
- 1:13Speaker 2: tight end TJ. Hockinson, so they have a lot of
- 1:16Speaker 2: optionality there. So the Eagles defense is going to be
- 1:19Speaker 2: tested this week, no doubt. So with that, why don't
- 1:23Speaker 2: we start with some of the some of my takeaways
- 1:27Speaker 2: from Vic vangio tentative changes at number two cornerback. The
- 1:33Speaker 2: Eagles gave Keelee Ringo three consecutive games starting and I
- 1:38Speaker 2: guess against the Bucks he wasn't that bad. He wasn't
- 1:41Speaker 2: tested much. He missed a couple of tackles the Broncos game.
- 1:45Speaker 2: He was better until later in that game where it
- 1:48Speaker 2: was evident that Sean Peyton and Bo Knicks were targeting
- 1:51Speaker 2: his side of the field. I look at the two
- 1:52Speaker 2: point conversion as a play that they seem to have
- 1:55Speaker 2: a lot of confidence in isolating Troy Franklin, the wide
- 1:58Speaker 2: receiver on Keielee Ringo, and he created separation and they
- 2:02Speaker 2: were able to convert that. But then against the Giants,
- 2:06Speaker 2: it was a bad showing for Kiey. Ringo gave up
- 2:09Speaker 2: the thirty four yard completion on a third and twelve
- 2:12Speaker 2: to wide receiver Little Jordan Humphrey, who was called up
- 2:16Speaker 2: from the practice squad from that game, and then the
- 2:18Speaker 2: next series he allowed a twenty six yard completion of
- 2:21Speaker 2: Wandel Robinson. Wandell Robinson catches the football, falls down, then
- 2:26Speaker 2: he gets back up and because Keie Ringle didn't touch
- 2:30Speaker 2: him down, the play was still alive and he allowed
- 2:34Speaker 2: some extra yards.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So not great awareness there.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And at one point in that game, Kiely was benched
- 2:41Speaker 2: for Adri Jackson and then when when Quinnon Mitchell suffered
- 2:45Speaker 2: the hamstring injury, that's when you saw the Eagles have
- 2:48Speaker 2: to go with Adri Jackson and Keey Ringo it outside corner.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But it sounds like if you listen to Vick Vangio,
- 2:57Speaker 2: he said right now, it's probably going to it probably
- 3:00Speaker 2: would be a dory the.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Way we're going to do it in the game.
- 3:03Speaker 2: And when Quinyon went down, they played both, he said.
- 3:06Speaker 2: He explained that that was very evident if he watched
- 3:09Speaker 2: the game. But Dori Jackson gets the nod for cornerback
- 3:14Speaker 2: two this week. Obviously, the status of Quinyon Mitchell and
- 3:18Speaker 2: Eagles are back on the practice field Wednesday will ultimately
- 3:21Speaker 2: impact that. But I think it is notable that they
- 3:24Speaker 2: gave kie Ringo three games when they put a Dori
- 3:26Speaker 2: Jackson in against the Giants, wasn't great. There were some imperfections,
- 3:31Speaker 2: but I thought he handed himself a lot better than
- 3:34Speaker 2: Keighley did. He's the player that I think if you're
- 3:37Speaker 2: Vic Fangio, you have a lot more trust in Right now,
- 3:39Speaker 2: he's seen a lot, so you know you're not gonna
- 3:41Speaker 2: throw much at him that he hasn't seen before. And
- 3:44Speaker 2: what he brings that Kihi Ringo doesn't is the fluidity,
- 3:49Speaker 2: the short area quickness. Doesn't have the size of the
- 3:52Speaker 2: strength of Kighley, but there are there's something to be
- 3:55Speaker 2: said for his movement ability and veteran prowess. So if
- 4:00Speaker 2: Quinnon can go on Sunday and he has the hamstring,
- 4:03Speaker 2: it'll be Quinnon, Mitchell and a Doorri Jackson with Cooper
- 4:06Speaker 2: Degen at Nickel. If he can't go, that's where it
- 4:09Speaker 2: becomes interesting, because what direction do you go. You could
- 4:14Speaker 2: go keithy Ringo at Dory Jackson and roll that tandem
- 4:18Speaker 2: back out again with Cooper Dejen remaining there at Nickel,
- 4:22Speaker 2: or you could potentially move Cooper Dejen outside, have a
- 4:26Speaker 2: Dory Jackson on the other side, and then at Nickel
- 4:29Speaker 2: maybe you go Parry Nickerson or mac McWilliams, depending on
- 4:33Speaker 2: their comfort level with either player. Thick Fangio has made
- 4:37Speaker 2: it very clear at every time the subject comes up
- 4:42Speaker 2: that he likes Cooper at Nickel and would like to
- 4:45Speaker 2: not move him unless something dire, you know, surfaces, But
- 4:50Speaker 2: as I like to say, circumstances tend to alter plans,
- 4:55Speaker 2: and this week could be one of those scenarios where
- 4:57Speaker 2: you have to can at least consider moving Cooper outside
- 5:01Speaker 2: just because of the matchup with as I mentioned, Justin Jefferson,
- 5:04Speaker 2: Jordan Addison and those receivers that they have there at
- 5:08Speaker 2: Minnesota that can be very problematic for a defensive back
- 5:12Speaker 2: end that is sort of reeling.
- 5:13Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 5:15Speaker 2: He talked about mac McWilliams today as well, talked about
- 5:18Speaker 2: how he had been focusing on Nickel, but lately he's
- 5:22Speaker 2: been also keying in on outside corner as well. And
- 5:26Speaker 2: if you followed along with my rookie diary, and I
- 5:28Speaker 2: talked to mc McWilliams every week except for last week
- 5:30Speaker 2: did the WBCB show and the locker room was late
- 5:33Speaker 2: and they had one day of availability, so I wasn't
- 5:35Speaker 2: able to do it last week. But he's mentioned that
- 5:39Speaker 2: he's been mostly focusing at Nickel, which was his primary
- 5:43Speaker 2: focus in training camp as well, but then later in
- 5:45Speaker 2: training camp they cross trained him outside and it sounds
- 5:49Speaker 2: like they're doing that as well, and he even mentioned
- 5:51Speaker 2: in one of our our sit downs, I think it
- 5:55Speaker 2: might have been even week three or four where he's
- 5:59Speaker 2: mostly or he has been looking at working outside as well.
- 6:06Speaker 2: So we'll see if he's going to be in the
- 6:09Speaker 2: game day mix at corner. But it seems like all
- 6:13Speaker 2: the options are on the table. But vic Vangiel said,
- 6:17Speaker 2: we've got to settle in and find somebody out there
- 6:19Speaker 2: that we can rely on, and I think we have
- 6:21Speaker 2: the guys that could do that. We just got to
- 6:23Speaker 2: get them playing better. So he gave them an endorsement,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and he took vic Vangiel for all of the play,
- 6:31Speaker 2: the lackluster play against the Giants that didn't meet their standard.
- 6:35Speaker 1: He wore that one.
- 6:36Speaker 2: He said, I didn't coach them up well enough. My
- 6:39Speaker 2: calls weren't good enough, and we had trouble with them.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So I'm looking to see a bounce back from this unit.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Vic Vangio also talked about the retirement of zadarias Smith
- 6:51Speaker 2: and he was surprised and mentioned that he didn't have
- 6:57Speaker 2: any Inkling that a retirement was on the rise, and
- 7:00Speaker 2: he said, no, I didn't. I was surprised when Howie
- 7:03Speaker 2: came in and told me yesterday.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I guess it was.
- 7:05Speaker 2: But you always respect the guy's decisions, personal decisions.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Guy had a great career.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Did find when he was here with us he was
- 7:12Speaker 2: good to be around and wish him the best. It
- 7:14Speaker 2: takes a lot of strength to do that, and I
- 7:17Speaker 2: respect I respect it. So with that being said, you
- 7:23Speaker 2: have to notice that the the group of edge rushers
- 7:28Speaker 2: is certainly dwindling.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And that's where you look at it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And they say they have jay loox Hunt, they have
- 7:35Speaker 2: josh Usha, they have Patrick Johnson as Zizo Julari. But
- 7:42Speaker 2: do they have enough? And Vic Vangio said, you never have.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I think you always want more at any position. But
- 7:49Speaker 2: we have guys in the building who can fulfill it,
- 7:51Speaker 2: and he mentioned Patrick Johnson in that group. Patrick Johnson
- 7:54Speaker 2: has the now that Zidarius Smith has retired, Patrick Johnson
- 7:59Speaker 2: has the only sack on this unit one and it
- 8:02Speaker 2: was against the Giants, his first career sack. But now
- 8:06Speaker 2: that they're short on numbers, how will Vic Vanjo go
- 8:09Speaker 2: about filling another void at the position, and his answer was,
- 8:12Speaker 2: we'll have to absorb the snaps with the rest of
- 8:14Speaker 2: the guys and will make it work. So in house,
- 8:18Speaker 2: there's not a lot of optionality. Who they have is
- 8:20Speaker 2: who they have. Remember, Nolan Smith's on injury reserve and
- 8:23Speaker 2: Obo Okoronquo is also an injury reserve, except he's done
- 8:26Speaker 2: for the season with a triceps injury, so.
- 8:28Speaker 1: He won't be returning.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Nolan Smith, however, is expected to return sometime in November,
- 8:34Speaker 2: so we'll see how that pans out. But it feels
- 8:35Speaker 2: like this is dire straits here. The Eagles almost have
- 8:39Speaker 2: to go out there and acquire another edge rusher to.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Boaster the room. They don't have enough there.
- 8:45Speaker 2: They have rookie Antoine Powell Ryan on the practice squad.
- 8:48Speaker 2: They brought in Titus Leo, who was a twenty twenty
- 8:52Speaker 2: three six round pick of the Colts, in for a
- 8:55Speaker 2: workout on Tuesday. But they need to bolster that group
- 9:00Speaker 2: way and I'm curious to see which direction the Eagles go.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Are they able to.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Connect on a big swing to add a premier pass
- 9:08Speaker 2: rusher in or are they able to add a sort
- 9:10Speaker 2: of a mid tier There's a lot of teams that
- 9:12Speaker 2: are going to be looking to boaster their pass rush group.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So it's important to keep that in mind when you
- 9:19Speaker 2: approach it, when you look at it, because the Eagles
- 9:22Speaker 2: could want to go for a big fish, but there's
- 9:25Speaker 2: other teams like the forty nine ers, for example, that
- 9:27Speaker 2: are also going to be in pursuit of adding to
- 9:30Speaker 2: their respective groups. So that was a that was a
- 9:35Speaker 2: you know, a takeaway that he was optimistic about the
- 9:38Speaker 2: group that he has, but that you're never satisfied. You
- 9:41Speaker 2: always want more at every position, which is what I
- 9:43Speaker 2: expect Vicvanjo to say. But could the Eagles have an
- 9:46Speaker 2: in house solution for the pass rush? And it's important
- 9:52Speaker 2: to note that Nikobe Dean, fresh off the reserve physically
- 9:55Speaker 2: unable to perform lists. He played in his first game
- 9:57Speaker 2: of the season after being out of football since January
- 10:00Speaker 2: with the torn Peteller Tendon. Played six snaps on special
- 10:03Speaker 2: teams against the Giants. It was great to see him
- 10:05Speaker 2: back out there. He just radiates positive energy. I've talked
- 10:08Speaker 2: a lot about this over the past two or three years,
- 10:11Speaker 2: but now that he's sort of gotten his feet wet
- 10:15Speaker 2: and he's rounding back into football shape, you have to
- 10:19Speaker 2: wonder if now he's going to be implemented into the defense,
- 10:23Speaker 2: and that could afford Vic Vanjo with optionality to finally
- 10:28Speaker 2: And I say finally because every time Vic is asked,
- 10:31Speaker 2: he says, not at this time, not right now. Jahat
- 10:35Speaker 2: Campbell could see some reps at edge, and that way
- 10:38Speaker 2: you can find what you can find a way to
- 10:40Speaker 2: get all three off off ball linebackers on the field,
- 10:44Speaker 2: with Jahat Campbell taking a more expanded role potentially as
- 10:47Speaker 2: an edge rusher, which is he's certainly equipped to do that.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And to Kobe and I'm not suggesting to Kobe all
- 10:53Speaker 2: of a sudden plays the lion's share of the defensive snaps,
- 10:57Speaker 2: but gradually a handful of snaps, which forwards the Vic
- 11:01Speaker 2: Fangil the luxury of sort of building in another edge
- 11:05Speaker 2: rusher with Jahat Campbell and Nakobe is really good against
- 11:09Speaker 2: the run, and he's also a good blitzer. So there's
- 11:12Speaker 2: ways that you can tap into what he really brings
- 11:14Speaker 2: in terms of skill set and ability and get all
- 11:18Speaker 2: of your best talent on the field, even if it's
- 11:21Speaker 2: just sporadic. But he said, Vic Fangiel said, and this
- 11:26Speaker 2: is with regards to Jahad Campbell. It's possible he's been
- 11:29Speaker 2: getting edge snaps in certain plays we align. But now,
- 11:33Speaker 2: as I mentioned, circumstances tend to alter your plans. You
- 11:36Speaker 2: may have to start to expand that role just to
- 11:38Speaker 2: be able to fill the void, especially on a week
- 11:41Speaker 2: in which to Darius Smith just retired on a Monday,
- 11:45Speaker 2: there's not a lot of I mean, there's not enough
- 11:48Speaker 2: time for a reinforcement to come in and be able
- 11:50Speaker 2: to help the Eagles Sunday realistically, So this is their
- 11:52Speaker 2: group that they're going to have to carry in barring
- 11:54Speaker 2: something unforeseen. And Jahad Campbell is a very enticing option
- 12:00Speaker 2: off the edge, and you might have to see Vicvandr
- 12:02Speaker 2: get a little bit more creative and how they're able
- 12:04Speaker 2: to provide pressure off the edge. So those are my
- 12:07Speaker 2: takeaways from Vic Fang. You always enlightening to hear what
- 12:12Speaker 2: he has to say.

- 15:48Speaker 2: Kevin Patullo, the Eagles offensive coordator, spoke and I don't
- 15:53Speaker 2: want to get I want to make this more of
- 15:54Speaker 2: a defensive podcast and summarization on some key points for
- 15:58Speaker 2: the different coordinators. So he was asked about what Lane
- 16:01Speaker 2: Johnson had to say about the predictability of the offense,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and he said, I think the comment Lane had and
- 16:09Speaker 2: what's great about the players is the communication with all
- 16:12Speaker 2: of us is constant, whether it's during game, whether it's
- 16:15Speaker 2: during the week, even on off days, things like that.
- 16:18Speaker 2: That's been really really good and productive for us. I
- 16:21Speaker 2: think a lot of it comes down to is and
- 16:24Speaker 2: I know Nick alluded to this too, is sometimes situational
- 16:28Speaker 2: moments in the game where you're limited a little bit
- 16:30Speaker 2: depending on where you're at with field position, down in distance,
- 16:34Speaker 2: select plays, what the defense does at times if they're
- 16:38Speaker 2: a big edge pressure team during certain situations, that can
- 16:42Speaker 2: dictate a little bit of what you want to do.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I think when you talk about the situational stuff and
- 16:47Speaker 2: or the predictability, you've just got to look at where
- 16:51Speaker 2: the whole context is. And I think that's what kind
- 16:54Speaker 2: of the last day or so over the weekend things
- 16:56Speaker 2: we were able to look at where we were, we were,
- 17:00Speaker 2: where we want to go, and what we know we
- 17:03Speaker 2: need to do to go forward. I think it was
- 17:06Speaker 2: very productive. We had a good meeting yesterday. As an
- 17:09Speaker 2: offensive unit, and so I think we're in a good
- 17:11Speaker 2: spot working forward, but from to a larger perspective, from
- 17:16Speaker 2: a larger point, the offense does need to get to
- 17:20Speaker 2: find a way to shake things up and force defenses
- 17:25Speaker 2: to play them a little bit more. Honestly, there is
- 17:28Speaker 2: just a lot of inside zone. When that's not working.
- 17:30Speaker 2: With Saquon Barkley, it feels like it's predictable running plays
- 17:35Speaker 2: and then the deep shot. So there are certain things
- 17:39Speaker 2: you can do, and we've talked a lot about this
- 17:41Speaker 2: to create space for Saquon Barkley. Maybe more eleven personnel.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Maybe if you go to twelve personnel and you're trying
- 17:46Speaker 2: to utilize the players at your disposal, Cam Latu might
- 17:50Speaker 2: work a little bit better in that role. In fact,
- 17:53Speaker 2: it's obvious that he would versus Kylon Granson or Grant Calcaterra,
- 17:58Speaker 2: who did not play against the Giants. But they need
- 18:02Speaker 2: to find ways to be a little bit more creative
- 18:04Speaker 2: with their route concepts and just open things up more
- 18:07Speaker 2: offensively because it does feel like a compressed unit, and
- 18:10Speaker 2: they often talk about being behind the sticks on first
- 18:12Speaker 2: and second down, and that's why they haven't been very
- 18:15Speaker 2: efficient on third down.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But they have to find ways to get out of
- 18:18Speaker 1: this funk.
- 18:19Speaker 2: And they have a lot of talent there, too much
- 18:20Speaker 2: talent to be as lackluster, and I guess underwhelming is
- 18:26Speaker 2: probably the best term as they have and I do
- 18:29Speaker 2: believe they're going to get it right. And I'm curious
- 18:30Speaker 2: to see what the offense looks like with a couple
- 18:34Speaker 2: more days. You talk about you just heard me read
- 18:36Speaker 2: the Patullo quote about the meeting. Maybe they're able to
- 18:39Speaker 2: go back to the drawing board and implement some.
- 18:43Speaker 1: New wrinkles. So that's something that I'm looking to keep
- 18:45Speaker 1: an eye on. And then Michael.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Clay he talked about the and obviously there's been a
- 18:53Speaker 2: lot of talk about the return game, Tank Biggs being
- 18:56Speaker 2: aj Dillon. They've left a lot to be desired there
- 19:00Speaker 2: in terms of handling kickoffs, and they're putting the Eagles
- 19:03Speaker 2: in some pretty tough spots in terms of field position.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And then Johan Dotson, he fair catches an awful lot
- 19:10Speaker 2: and doesn't have the explosive qualities or even the ability
- 19:15Speaker 2: to pick up some of those hidden yards that I've
- 19:16Speaker 2: talked a lot to Britain Covey about over the years.
- 19:19Speaker 2: So let's so Michael Clay was asked about the kick
- 19:24Speaker 2: return game and talked about why, you know why there's
- 19:30Speaker 2: been a little bit of a struggle. He said, yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 2: I think that's just a little bit. I think just
- 19:35Speaker 2: a little bit of it has to do with catch
- 19:38Speaker 2: mechanics and if the ball falls on your side, you
- 19:40Speaker 2: don't have the opportunity to use more of your body surface.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And I think that's as we look at it. It's
- 19:45Speaker 1: been our biggest issue.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It's just corralling the ball, whether that's the La Rams
- 19:50Speaker 2: game or last Thursday against the Giants.
- 19:52Speaker 1: When we don't corral the ball, that gives.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Us issues and it puts the team in a terrible
- 19:56Speaker 2: situation with field position, with the offense, and that falls
- 19:59Speaker 2: on me more than anything else.
- 20:01Speaker 1: But what we've proven that when we.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Do have an opportunity to catch it correctly get north
- 20:06Speaker 2: and south. We have been we have some opportunities to
- 20:09Speaker 2: get it past the thirty, the Tampa Bay game, the
- 20:11Speaker 2: Denver game. He said a lot more to expand on that,
- 20:14Speaker 2: but you get the gist of what he's saying.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And then when he was asked, well he go back
- 20:19Speaker 1: to Tank.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Bigsby, he said, yeah, I mean we have obviously a
- 20:22Speaker 2: plethora of returners that we get to use at to
- 20:24Speaker 2: our disposal, so it's not like you make one mistake,
- 20:27Speaker 2: you're going to be benched for the entire for the
- 20:31Speaker 2: entire of the year. But we have plenty of people
- 20:33Speaker 2: to go out there and get the job done.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So we'll see.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Because they also have a returner who has been inactive
- 20:42Speaker 2: for the past three weeks who was claimed off waivers
- 20:44Speaker 2: by the name is Xavier Gibson, who've mentioned on this podcast,
- 20:47Speaker 2: and I'm curious to see if he gets an opportunity,
- 20:50Speaker 2: because I mean, there's not going to be it's not
- 20:54Speaker 2: going to be too much longer before Darius Cooper's back
- 20:56Speaker 2: in the picture. He was put on IR with Noan
- 20:59Speaker 2: Smith and ja Corey Embnnett on September twenty fourth.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Darius Cooper is.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Going to be that receiver, and they don't. You haven't
- 21:08Speaker 2: seen anything of Xavier Gibson in a game situation. So
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm curious to see whether the Eagles, you know, tap
- 21:14Speaker 2: him on the shoulder, get him involved against the Vikings
- 21:17Speaker 2: and at least have a better sense of what he
- 21:19Speaker 2: can provide potentially in that realm before you have to
- 21:23Speaker 2: make a decision. They also have Britain Covey on the
- 21:25Speaker 2: practice squad who's really a punt returner, but they do
- 21:29Speaker 2: have a lot of options, and presumably because they have
- 21:32Speaker 2: so many options, that's why Xavier Gibson hasn't been active
- 21:35Speaker 2: to this point. But I think now your hands are tied,
- 21:39Speaker 2: you have to exhaust all of your options and explore
- 21:42Speaker 2: what you have and maybe you have some better alternatives.
- 21:47Speaker 1: So we'll see. But that's something that it's in the
- 21:51Speaker 1: grand scheme.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's a footnote, but that's something that I'll be keeping
- 21:54Speaker 2: an eye on.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Against the Vikings on Sunday.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Johan Dotson, we'll close it off with this because I
- 22:03Speaker 2: mentioned that he's fair caught a great deal of punts
- 22:06Speaker 2: this season and there have been instances where he seems
- 22:09Speaker 2: a little indecisive, and he talked about, you know, fair
- 22:15Speaker 2: catching it, and is that something that he's being coached
- 22:17Speaker 2: to do. He said no, I think a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 2: it has to do with I think there's a lot
- 22:21Speaker 2: of context in everything. Some of it's just plus fifty punts.
- 22:25Speaker 2: You don't get an opportunity to return in the plus
- 22:27Speaker 2: fifty areas. It's not just how it's constructed. In the
- 22:31Speaker 2: New York game, they had it at the plus forty
- 22:33Speaker 2: two and kicked thirty yards. He was at the twelve
- 22:36Speaker 2: yard line and we messed it up just by being
- 22:39Speaker 2: in terms of some penalties right there.
- 22:41Speaker 1: And now you put the a Rams game. He only had.
- 22:44Speaker 2: One in the plus fifty as well, so a lot
- 22:47Speaker 2: of the times there's some context to it. Now for him,
- 22:50Speaker 2: I think it's just getting back into everything, and he's
- 22:52Speaker 2: averaging ten yards on the returns when.
- 22:55Speaker 1: He does have an opportunity.
- 22:56Speaker 2: And for a punt returner, you got to really have
- 22:59Speaker 2: some faith into the ten other guys and that falls
- 23:03Speaker 2: on us.
- 23:03Speaker 1: To get the return going right there.
- 23:06Speaker 2: He added to that as well, But you get the
- 23:09Speaker 2: picture here as to his reply to Johan Dotson and
- 23:16Speaker 2: the punt return game. So hopefully everything that we've covered
- 23:19Speaker 2: here gives you a better sense of, you know, answers
- 23:23Speaker 2: to questions you probably have, especially some of these that
- 23:26Speaker 2: are resounding questions. They're persisting every week, so hopefully that
- 23:31Speaker 2: provides a little bit of clarity. But the Eagles are
- 23:34Speaker 2: back on the practice field tomorrow and we'll have plenty
- 23:37Speaker 2: of updates here on inside the Birds on all the
- 23:41Speaker 2: inside the Birds platforms and of course right here.
- 23:43Speaker 1: On the check O Daily. This has been to check
- 23:46Speaker 1: O Daily.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm Andrew to Checko and I'll catch you on the
- 23:49Speaker 2: next one.
