- 0:48[SPEAKER_05]: We got Cleveland Brown's football.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_05]: Finally on the field, not OTAs, not mini camp, not training camp.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_05]: Preseason.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_05]: You know, it's not the regular season.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a meaningful game in that regard, but it is meaningful for a lot of these players, the quarterback competition, which will obviously be talking about here in a little bit, and just everything else that needs to play out for this team, for this roster to shape out that 53 man, you know.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_05]: the the whole list that's going to be starting for this team in September and all kicks off Saturday won a clock in Chicago against the bears me and Kenny we're going to talk about this game for a little bit give you guys some players to watch for people we're interested in seeing some of the position battles that are still at the top of our list of things to watch for of course like I said we will talk about the quarterbacks to Sean Watson be named the starter all that stuff.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_05]: and anything else you guys in the chat want to talk about, and we got some voicemails and plays can be fun show.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_05]: I think this is going to be great, it's a great way to, it's our first preview show.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_05]: So it's kind of like preseason for the dogs podcast too, Kenny.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know we got to get the right units out, got to get in the huddle, got to get the mic on, you know what I mean?
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's their hot right now.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: So let's make the right audibles and get some content out for you guys.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_05]: Right, no procedural penalties, no pre-snap, none of that crap.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_05]: Like I mean, Todd Munkin here throwing stuff if we mess up, none.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's a kid.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's a shitty football.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: You guys don't want to see shitty podcasts.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_05]: There we go.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_05]: That is like the quote to kick off the season right there.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, no doubt.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_05]: So before we start talking about the game and everything.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_05]: First of all, fantasy football signups for this year are closed.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_05]: So if you guys wanted to play fantasy and you waited and waited and waited and waited, you missed the window.

- 2:49[SPEAKER_05]: Can you wow, that's going to be busy.

- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I can just look down on what everybody's talking about.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to be talking about some of that stuff today.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_05]: So during the dogs dot com if you guys are interested in that.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I go.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, one last thing before we do.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_05]: We got like three days.

- 4:15[SPEAKER_05]: They're going to run this deal through sad the end of Saturday.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_05]: So it ends on Sunday.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_05]: It's like a Cleveland Brown season kickoff that they're doing for us.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_05]: Since a preseason starting, so make sure you guys if you're interested, just take advantage of that deal while it's out there.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's dashdogfood.com slash dogs.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I'm going to run through a quick overview about this bear's game.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_05]: Just some quick hitting notes, nothing in depth, like a normal preview because of course.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a normal preview, it's just a preseason game, but here we go.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_05]: The bears are going to rest several other starters, not sure how many will play on either side of the ball for them.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_05]: Tyson Bajent will start at quarterbacks, so we will not be seeing Caleb Williams in this one.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_05]: The Browns will start to show on Watson, Todd Munkin, once to play his starters, at least the first series of the game,
- 5:02[SPEAKER_05]: However, Watson should see the entire first half, at least according to what Monkins said yesterday.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_05]: Offense.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_05]: If guys like Judy and Fanon are even out there to open the game, I doubt they play beyond the first series.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_05]: You're probably going to see a lot of run for guys like Gage Larvedan, Malachi, Corley, Luke Floria, Cole Wilson.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if Cedric Tillman's going to play.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_05]: He didn't practice yesterday.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't heard any news updates on him.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_05]: So he's either dealing with some sort of an injury or...
- 5:29[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, maybe the Browns are talking trade with somebody behind the scenes right now.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_05]: I, far to tell.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think he's making the roster either way.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_05]: Defense, I'd be shocked if Denzel Ward or Tyson Campbell play in this game.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_05]: They were both limited.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_05]: This week in practice.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_05]: Grant Delpit.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, maybe he opens that first series with the starters on defense, but he won't play much.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_05]: And then, you know, Kenny, before we really dive in more about the game and into like the quarterback specifically,
- 5:58[SPEAKER_05]: give me one player on offense and then one player on defense that you're excited to watch specifically and that you're going to be watching closely during the game.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think we always watch every time of this year.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: We're always looking for the backup running back and I've been on here about a money Marshall and I really like the guy.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: I like him for a couple reasons.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously the first preseason game, you're not going to get much
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, first half snaps out of Dylan Samson, but somebody's got a back him up.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: So you have rocket Sanders, then you have a money Marshall.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we know by looking at training camp that a money Marshall has been really catching the ball.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's also really good in the backfield.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he's going to contribute on special, special teams.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: While rocket Sanders, we really like his running ability, there seems to be a little bit less that he can do on the team, so I'm looking for this guy to come out and show out.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be picking up some blitzes, he's going to be getting some receiving yards, because I think we're going to get a lot of the screen game and passes the flats and for
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I was kind of bitch that they don't know where they're going, but this is going to be like they need to figure this out and they're going to have these running back running specific routes.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I think they're going to capitalize on what we're hearing from a money Marshall out of the training camps will see some vision will see some yards.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think you might get a touchdown too.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: This guy is a goal line theme or he was last year and last but not least, let's see if he plays on special teams because that might make him a lock.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, so a money marshal and rocket Sanders.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_05]: I expect to get the bulk of the action in this game that you said maybe when Sean comes out He'll probably start with the they probably want to get him a little action would be my guess a little real game action get him get popped once or twice by an opposing defense Get used to that So the first series for him will probably get a couple carries depending on how the series goes I'm not expecting a lot obviously, but
- 8:03[SPEAKER_05]: Dylan Samson, I think we'll also see limited snaps.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be Marshall Sanders and then Devon Booth that UDFA, we signed after the draft this year.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's going to be the majority of the game at running back.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_05]: So those will be very interesting battle, honestly, to see how it shakes out.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I mean, you have a guy like they have been preaching versatility and what I'm understanding from Sanders while I like that's rocket Sanders that is well I like him and I like his running ability there's just not the versatility there and they've been preaching that yeah absolutely so I guess I'll just cut in real quick before you do your defensive guy my guy on offense and guy that I really I think he's going to play a significant amount of snaps to would be Austin barber.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_05]: because this guy's been making a little bit of noise and training camp and I feel like there's not a whole lot, I mean, I shouldn't say not a whole lot.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_05]: Four out of the five starters for our offensive line are pretty much locked into place.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_05]: And I think the fifth one, seven Jenkins is pretty much a lock as well at this point.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_05]: But we've seen some shifting around.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_05]: Austin Barber has been running with the second team at Wright Tackle.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_05]: I think most of OTAs, all the training camp up to a certain point here this last week, and then they moved to Juan Jones over to Wright Tackle and put Austin Barber at left Tackle.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_05]: So there's just the flexibility, the versatility with a guy like Austin Barber that we were excited about the Browns were excited about during the draft from the Trader back in the third round to get him.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: We're starting to see that in camp where this guy can play multiple positions, you know, the requestions that he move inside the guard or, you know, does, does Fano end up moving inside the guard can, uh, Barber play tackle.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, but I'm excited to see this guy because,
- 9:50[SPEAKER_05]: From all the scouting reports and everything from the draft season, he was a Mueller in college, a great offensive lineman for Florida.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm excited to see what he can do in his first action against opposing defense.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, a lot of the highlights that I've seen of this guy is he's just, you know, kind of running people over and then mulling them like you were saying, he kind of reminds me of why it teller and I will always kind of for saw him like maybe getting into a guard position, but you know, figure out what you have a tackle if you can play there.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, that's that's a premium position.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: So if you can do that well, well, let's get him there and let's figure it out, right?
- 10:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, absolutely.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_05]: And then, you know, we've got injuries happening.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Zach's entering went down last week with an injury.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_05]: I don't we don't know the severity of any of these injuries or what exactly the work is they don't have to disclose them during training camp and all that.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: We do know that a guy like to marry math is who got carted off the field the other day.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_05]: He's out for the season.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_05]: He's nending IR with a knee injury.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_05]: So,
- 10:46[SPEAKER_05]: we do get a little bit whenever it's devastating like that.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_05]: But the offensive line, you know, Elkton Jenkins hasn't been practicing a lot parkour brails for it hasn't been practicing he's out.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_05]: You've got obviously Zack Zinner's out.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_05]: The Juan Jones has a history of obviously season ending injuries, it's true.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_05]: We need depth, we need reliable players on that position.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: So Austin Barbers, my guy.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_05]: So what about you, though, on defense?
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: defense.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: We've talked about him several times on this pod as Michael coach junior.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: He is a small guy.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's from West Virginia.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: He was an undrafted rookie free agent.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Five nine, 184 pounds is small, but he's got a bit of dog in them, man.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: This guy, he seems like he, if you read his profile, he seems like a guy that would be perfect for nickel.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: and that's something that we've really struggled with in the last two years with the Brownsville and some great defenses.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: Miles Harden, I don't know if he can say, I don't think he's cutting it at this point.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: I hear some good things out of camp, but he's a listen to Josh on Thursday, so maybe not as good as that I think it possibly be, but with him, I mean,
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: For me, he's got good speed, he's got quick feet, he's got good awareness, and he's good in man and zone.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: So let's give him some more reps, see what he can do against third and fourth stringers and let's see what he can do moving up.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, it seems like everybody on our defense has got some first string reps because there's a lot of guys sitting right now.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: And so what he can take or what he took out of training camp let's see if he can apply that.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: against the starters and see what it can do against the bears.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, for sure, because my defensive guy, well, I had two guys I wanted to talk about.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_05]: We'll talk about this next guy together, but tray Avery, another corner back.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm just going to have a whole corner back discussion.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if you guys saw I put out a short video earlier today about this whole situation, but the corner back.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Kenny, we have been harping on this.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like for months really ever since the draft when we really didn't address it.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I saw your little short today and I had to actually look everybody up again because I can't even remember who we all signed.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think our lads is even updated at this point and I don't even know if the latest depth chart I have is up to this point but I know we just signed somebody.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: We have Tyler Hall now as well.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to talk about trade Avery.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: I have Nate Evans this year but I thought he was injured.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't seen him on the non-practice reports, so I think he's okay, but I also haven't the thing is it's hard to tell because we're not at every training camp session to take the notes and we're feeding a lot off of what the reporters who are allowed to be there on the sideline are writing about and posting.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't heard anything about Nate Evans since OTAs when it sounded like he was doing okay back then, but so Denzel award
- 13:48[SPEAKER_05]: has been limited or just not practicing several days here the last week, Tyson Campbell has been on and off just doing individual drills or maybe he just does seven on sevens, but he's these guys aren't playing in team drills.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_05]: So when you see like, well, this isn't 11 on 11 rep, you know, a highlight video, whatever, just remember the starting corners,
- 14:07[SPEAKER_05]: have been tray-avery and like deangelo Ross and then deangelo Ross comes out and he's on the injury, you know, didn't practice a last couple of days.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_05]: So you've got tray-avery and it was turn-haring where you're starting cornerbacks, turn-haring just got waived with an injury designation.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_05]: So now he's gone, okay, and I'm kind of just going off the top of my head here, but Miles Harden, like you said, I
- 14:31[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like they're almost relying on him to be their CB3 this year.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_05]: I don't like that.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_05]: Miles Bryant, the other miles at the corner position, he's out with an injury.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_05]: He's not practicing.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_05]: Michael Coates, Nate Evans, these are UDFA rookies.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_05]: The guy we just signed, the kid from Southern Illinois, Jeremiah McClendon.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: He's a UDFA rookie as well.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_05]: We just signed another UDFA Jaden Lucas from Clemson.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_05]: Tyler Hall is the like the veteran.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_05]: He's 29 years old, but he's been on practice squad after practice squad, making a little spotty starter, you know, some defensive appearances here and there throughout his career.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_05]: But the depth here, we signed Demory Mathis, who I mentioned earlier, that was to replace Dom Jones, who we had to release with an injury designation.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_05]: Now, Demory Mathis is done for the season with an injury.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's a nightmare.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_05]: at corner.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: So you're telling me taste and Bayesian's going to have a great day is what you're saying.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Pass it to your receiver, something the outside man.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: Because you guys have, how many of you guys haven't even been in camp?
- 15:30[SPEAKER_05]: No, and it's not, and I guess just a deviate for a second.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_05]: It's not just corner.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how, if everybody here listening, watching has been following the practice reports and stuff, our entire defensive tackle room is out.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's another thing that we've been harping on.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like once you got past our two starters, the guys that are behind them have either been injured, they're unproven, or they're just off their first year, but they're a UDFA.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: And after that, you have some guys that have been picked up on the back end of a roster.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't know quite what we're doing there either.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: So we need some moves.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think you and I got to put our heads together and put out a podcast and like we build the back end of this this roster.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I can't even I've been talking about doing that.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_05]: We want to put it up and so together for you guys with some players the Brown should go after by the way addressing the defensive lines, not really so much the interior, but they did host a familiar face today's a very mid came in for a workout.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_05]: So that's now.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_05]: for trials interested in rejoining this defense, which is interesting.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I'd take him back in a heartbeat.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I had no problems with that guy.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: He can play your defensive tackle on your Lamborghini or whatever you call your fast,
- 16:49[SPEAKER_05]: defense of Lyman on your past plays so like I mean that that guy would be fantastic so take a back for sure yes because right now I mean legitimately we're looking at this roster and saying okay we know we have verse we know we got Alex right and then Isaiah McGuire but after that we we have no veteran
- 17:08[SPEAKER_05]: presence at the edge position.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_05]: If we have, if we're going to have depth at this point, it's going to be UDFA's.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be Logan for, I'm not not not disparaging UDFA's.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just saying no experience and no high investment into these players, Logan Fano and Corda Snyder and these guys, it's like, if something were happened to any of the first three names, which is likely it happens every year.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we'd be in a pinch there too.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_05]: So I think
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, UDFA is make up 30% of the league.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: You just don't want them on your team playing for you in their first year.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, right.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_05]: What are your back ups to be UDFA's?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_05]: Well, some hit.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, here and there, but are all of them.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_05]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Browns van, you know, we've all messed around with the sportsbooks before, right?
- 18:02[SPEAKER_05]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing against the house.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_05]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_05]: You're not betting against some sportsbook.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_05]: You're trading against other real-world people.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_05]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_05]: So if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs and Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_05]: You can take the other side of the market and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_05]: And it's not just sports either.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_05]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_05]: It works like this.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_05]: Simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_05]: So if you trust your takes and instincts and I know you guys do, go check out how she

- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Discover quality and excellence in all things outdoors with Mount Hope fence.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_05]: Um, the other guy on defense, then I wanted to talk about was obviously EMW.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_05]: I know people are going to be, I'm surprised nobody put this in the chat yet.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_05]: And then you'll make Neil Warren, they call him E-man is his nickname with the team.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_05]: So instead of calling him EMW, we're going to call him E-man.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_05]: So I think that's a pretty cool name.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's really cool.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_05]: So E-man has been coming on strong here the last, I don't know, a week or so in camp.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_05]: really popping off.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_05]: Remember, he missed all of OTAs with a minor injury.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_05]: So he's kind of getting up to speed here in training camp.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_05]: He's not coming in with all of this prior experience through the OTAs in many camp before.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_05]: And starting to get some run with the ones, we're starting to see some of those three safety looks that we're expecting the Browns that run a lot of this year.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I don't want to get my hopes like to high in the sky, I think, oh, this guy's going to come out and, you know, make all these tackles and past deflections and have a pick and I just want to see him make himself known and say, like, okay, I think this kid tier to play, you know?
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think he can have an Xavier Watts type of season and you know, we were pounding the table for him last year and the sky's the limit for him, especially with a guy like Root and Berg who had his hand in that success for Watts.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think he knows what to.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: mold this young kid into and the kid has the ability so it's like a marriage match made in heaven and uh that just got it he's got to get out there and he's got to play and absolutely I want to see this guy come out and have a great game on Saturday.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm pumped to see this guy Me too
- 21:18[SPEAKER_05]: I guess just if we want to talk about, because again, I know some people in the chatter saying, oh, do we have to talk about quarterbacks and other people want us to talk, guys, we are going to talk about, I mean, it's some of some important position in sports.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to talk about some of the most, yeah, talk about topic here in Cleveland Brown's media space, but before we get to it, a little bit more about this game, like special teams, things that I'm like, I'm looking for in a preseason game.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_05]: and Blake says it's all the time and I totally agree.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_05]: I am more concerned with things that look bad than things that look good.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_05]: Because things that look bad are a bigger indicator of an underlying problem with the team than something that looks really good.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_05]: Because again, we can have Dorian Thompson Robinson come out here and tear it up in the preseason.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_05]: that looks great doesn't matter but if you've got like you always bitched about the last few years the checkdowns constantly check the short passes to the receiver in the tight end that was indicative of the offense there was no downfield passing um we were clear and space at all on the line for a running backs in the preseason that was a huge problem pre-snap penalties
- 22:25[SPEAKER_05]: Do we go out there?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_05]: Do we have procedural crap happen on special teams?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_05]: Do we have blown coverages, misdesignments?
- 22:31[SPEAKER_05]: Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: Any, you know, we're, you hit the nail on the head like I just want to see these guys come in the offense that is I want to see them come in and out and execute call the right plays get on the line.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: Know the cadence has to be elite cadence if you've been following the rounds in the last little bit.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_05]: And please for Tony Grossy, say Cavalry Cadence.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, that's the wild, but I mean, you do want to see them come in and out in the huddle with some kind of like vigor and some kind of like, you know, they just need to look like they want to be there basically, right?
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: So, and I think that'll be the case with Monkton.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, are they going to make mistakes?
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, they haven't had the same offensive line,
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: pattern together for a while.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: So that might rear its ugly head in this game.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: But let's see what they have.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_02]: Again, like I don't want to get too down on what's happened in the last little bit.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: I know we're going to get in the quarterback.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think we should be excited that these guys are going to see just live rounds of football.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: And let's see what they can do.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: And then we'll criticize them after instead of, you know, already, you know, kind of cowering saying, I don't think they're
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: going to be very good, but let's see what hitting other guys will do for them because maybe they're just getting tired of it.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, I know Spencer Fano and Jared verse are definitely tired of hitting each other because they're fighting every day of practice now.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_05]: That's how competitive they need to go out there and get some frustration out of some enemies.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm excited to see that I don't know how much or if Jared verse will even play.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure he probably will at least that first series kind of sounds like it.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_05]: But
- 24:31[SPEAKER_05]: Again, any starters that don't play, I won't be shocked, just kind of how the preseason goes.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think as far as overall offensive, philosophy, scheme, play calling, it's going to be pretty vanilla.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_05]: You don't really dip too deep into your bag of tricks during the preseason.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of the same on defense.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_05]: If they're working on a lot of disguises, I think we'll see some of it, but they're not going to show a whole lot of what they're implementing right now.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of big stuff.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean you just again like you want to see like if you're going to go position group by position group you just want to basically see it is the quarterback processing fast because he holding on to it too long and that's when you get to these ill-time passes out to the flats that we kind of complain about or just to your tight end.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: We want to see a running backs being able to protect that's a big thing we know they can run their in the NFL and the other thing is can our receivers block when they're running?
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: And on the O line, are they communicating?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: That was the one thing I was trying to remember there.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then tight ends can they actually play all three downs.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, when you have, in this game, you'll have like the three tight ends that we have.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think they'll all can play.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_02]: all three downs except for the new guy that we got.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be like a you or like a flex tight end, right?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then after that, what I'm looking for is just more from the quarterbacks, and they're getting them in and out of the huddle, what kind of, you know, pre-snaps are they doing?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: And after that, what I want to see is,
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: Um, whereas my notes here.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's going to be vanilla.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: So there's not going to be trick plays.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: There's not going to be exotic motions.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's basically inside zone outside zone play action, quit game, bootlegs and screens.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I really, really want to see screens.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see them executed really well.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: Then gets a big part of the game that we didn't have the last couple of years.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think Baker was really good at doing a screen game.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it got us touchdowns and got us down the field.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_02]: But it helps me have new
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: Nick Chubbin, Korean Hunt, too.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: So let's see if these guys can get up to that standard.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: And last but not least, the other thing that I had that you just mentioned, special teams matter and matters more than the fans think.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: And this is the one where you don't want to look bad.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: You want to look good with your punters, you want to look good with your kickers.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: So hit your field goals, your point afters, make them reasonable, and then kick off coverage, punt coverage, and then your return units.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just don't have any mishaps.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, free game cover on the kicks.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I swear if I see a bear's player break one on a punt or a kick off, especially in like the first three quarters of fourth quarters always like a whatever, because Fiona who's playing, and I'm going to lose my crap.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_05]: Cause I still enough of that last year.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, we don't want to see that again.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, as water under the bridge, they got to take care of it.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to see what a new special teams coordinator looks like.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: We have to see what a new defensive coordinator looks like.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: And a new offensive play caller for us, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing is, as I'm wondering how this offense is going to look because we really need to figure out a quarterback situation.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: from my estimation and then what I saw Monkton do, even though they didn't play Lamar much in the preseason, I only think he played in the first year with Monkton, because it was a new offensive install, right?
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: The next two years after that, what happened is they had a 55 to 45 past a run ratio, because they're figuring out their backup tight end.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: We're just figuring out our quarterback guys, number one quarterback.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I should, I would imagine we would also be 55 to 45,
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: And that offensive line also needs those reps as well, based on what I've seen coming out of camp.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: So let's get a lot of passes in here, short intermediate, deep, and let's see what we can do.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and before we, you know, switch over to the quarterback conversation.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to mention, so you alluded to, um, day one, right, the tight end out of Ole Miss that was just waived by the Eagles and then we claimed them off waivers.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_05]: A guy I was excited about during the draft process.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_05]: I was hoping the Browns have maybe looked his way later in the draft.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe six rounds, seven rounds, something like that.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_05]: He goes on draft as signs with the Eagles okay.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_05]: Well, now we got him.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think he's going to play in this game and I could be totally wrong, but he didn't practice yesterday and I would, I don't think it's likely they would put him out there in a preseason game without having a single real, I know they'll go through walkthrough tomorrow, but I don't think he's going to play for me.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_05]: That, yes, Joe Boyer still MIA, not sure what's going on there if he's coming back when he's coming back or anything, it's can Carson, what's Carson Ryan look like?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_05]: What does Lake Whiteheart look like?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_05]: What does Brendan Bates look like?
- 29:17[SPEAKER_05]: Can these jack stall, I mean jack stall is not going to be much if anything in the passing game.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_05]: But we need, we need some of these tight ends to step up because again, kind of like we talked about corner and D.T.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_05]: on defense, man, tight end on offense, socks right now.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and so we don't really have a good white tight end and I'm glad you brought that up because I'm on my notes is basically between white heart and between baits and stole and those would be your why so those are the guys that receive and those are the guys are your inline blockers right.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: And they're all about the same.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: They're about 255 around there, but we just don't have somebody that can really attack the seam.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: I would think, based on what we've seen, like white hard, could be the one that goes down and attacks the seam.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's a guy that's got the best speed.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: The other guys are just special teams players and blockers.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: So if we can get someone which we thought was Joe Royer to do that,
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: that, that would be great.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: But the new guy, he said Dequan right is the guy, he's a guy that's a flex tight end.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, he's like fanning.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, you wanna see him out there, he would create great matchups for the Browns, obviously he's new, so he's probably doesn't have anything down.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_02]: But he has the size 245 pounds.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_02]: You can have another 10 and be an inline blocker.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: He just doesn't have it yet.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_02]: So that's something I'll be looking for for the next two preseason games.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, all right, let's talk quarterback chat.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_05]: Are you guys ready for quarterback conversation?
- 30:48[SPEAKER_05]: Come on now.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_05]: Here we go.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_05]: I see Ian Coleman here in the chats as I just moved to Ohio from Upstate New York and Cleveland, Hates should door Sanders jerseys all over Syracuse New York moved to Lorraine.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_05]: and y'all hate him here.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_05]: Well, first of all, I'm not up that way.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_05]: So I have no idea what's going on there.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_05]: I was a camp last week, and I saw tons of Sanders jerseys.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_05]: When he was out there, people were cheering for him.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_05]: The kids, oh my gosh, the kids will just stay after practice for hours if they have to, to even just get a chance to see him up close.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think people do like shit, or I know we do.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_05]: We like him.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_05]: So this quarterback competition,
- 31:32[SPEAKER_05]: through camp so far.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_05]: Go ahead.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_05]: What I was always said, I can if you need to organize, I can go, man, because well, I was just going to say through camp.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_05]: shouldn't.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_05]: If you're following the Cleveland media, it can get a little hairy because you'll have your mainstream, you know, your more popular stations, your ESB and Cleveland's like the morning shows the Tony Grossy Aaron Goldhammer.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_05]: They got chops all in there.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_05]: You know, these guys, they're for some reason they're all about to shine.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_05]: Watson.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_05]: Now Tony Grocery has never liked the doorstander.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_05]: She hasn't liked him since before we even drafted him.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_05]: He was like, please don't draft that kid.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want anything to do with him.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_05]: Like he didn't.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't like should or.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_05]: We know Mary Kay for whatever reason 92 through recruitment dot com.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_05]: She's always on 92-3.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_05]: She loves to shine.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how much of their reporting and influence is being pushed by the organization.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know if any.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not saying it is, but
- 32:33[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how much intel they get from the organization trying to steer them one way or the other.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think the organization wants to show on watts in the start.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_05]: uh... the whole soft launch that we've been speculating about sense march uh... uh... or earlier hell it was last season whenever was a jw johnson was talking about oh man john wads and looks fan he's the best quarterback in practice right now and he's just out here in in short you know coming off this industry it's like
- 33:05[SPEAKER_05]: Oh boy, what are we, what are we steering toward here?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like Shador Sanders has been the better quarterback of all three during camp so far.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_05]: Like I said on the last episode, Justin and myself, we went up to camp and we just, we didn't plan it.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_05]: We just happened to sit right next to Jake Burns, Brad Ward from Browns Film Breakdown.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_05]: They'd been there all week.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_05]: So we're just sitting there going back and forth, talking the entire practice and we're talking
- 33:35[SPEAKER_05]: Who's been the best?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_05]: Like just, and they said, Shoulder has been the better.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_05]: Now, he's had ups and downs, but he's been the most consistent day-to-day.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_05]: So, whether it's getting up to the line, running the offense, breaking the huddle, you know, making his throws, being on target, being on point, he's been the most consistent.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_05]: They're like, the shawnel come out and have some nice throws where you're like, oh damn, like that's, okay, that's a shawnel Watson throw, cool.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_05]: And then the next few throws you're going, oh my god, what was that?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_05]: And that's exactly what we saw on Thursday.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_05]: There's a couple, and it's just like, into the visuals.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_05]: One on one's where he'd rip one, and it's like, not, that was a nice throw.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_05]: Then the next pass was a mile behind.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, what was he throwing to there?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_05]: It's rough.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_05]: It's rough.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it's going to be rough in the game.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_05]: He hasn't played football in 664 days.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's wild man.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I think they just keep trying to give him some lease just based on that and the money and that kind of thing.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, you know, me, I was out yesterday, I watched the Spider-Man movie and I just turned my phone off.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you know, going into going out and going this Spider-Man movie, I'm like, you know, okay.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: So Deshawn Watson, Shidorah Sanders or co-starters.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: And by the time I get out, I check in.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: There's Josh.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, hey, bud.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you know this, but Deshawn Watson's starting.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like so yeah guys I was disappointed, but am I surprised no because I mean I listen to this podcast if I go on it We've been saying on this that that's gonna happen, right?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: Even at the beginning of the year my Progative was when they hired Todd Monkin
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: that they were going to put an invest into to Sean Watson, I mean, he's worth a ton of money or they've invested a ton of money and capital, so draft picks into this guy and they got to scratch that itch.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: So there's anything for them to get out of them.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, do it now and do it while you're not in the land, do it in Chicago.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's the best way to go if they
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't want them to come to a point where there's like no competition and they're just going to force us on as though because like you said, Deshan, they're not Deshan.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: So Doris Sanders has been steady eddy through the competition.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't blown the doors off the knock Deshan out, but neither has Deshan, but if you're steady eddy,
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: and you're going through camp and you're going through the preseason and your your numbers are just slightly better your younger guy and you got an upside well don't what do you tell your locker room at the end of preseason when the other your younger guy should or kind of look just a little bit better wasn't throwing those interceptions right.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: But they know who's playing well.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're going to force us down our throats as fans, you can't do it to the locker room either.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to lose it.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that's not what I want to see.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: So as long as there's competition going on, and somebody stays consistent, give it to them.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see what Watson has in Chicago.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what Sanders has against Buffalo.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_02]: And then I guess the Pats decides.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_05]: So obviously, whichever quarterback does this start, plays a third quarter.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_05]: That's what Todd Munkin said.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_05]: So again, this is all subject to change.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_05]: It depends on how the flow of the game goes and all that kind of stuff.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe maybe the starter does play the entire first half or I don't know.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_05]: But either way, that's the general idea, starter first half.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_05]: The back up gets a third quarter.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_05]: It'll be the Sean then Chador next week.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_05]: It'll be Chador to Sean.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I said the other day and first of all, uh, super cat or super cat super chat Jay Cuddles.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you very much.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_05]: He's always trying to get Blake to glaze Chador in the chat and Blake's like, I won't do that for money.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_05]: I will I will do it for money.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'll do it for free, but no, you guys what I just want the best quarterback on the field for my team And I believe that is Shador because sadly I've watched every single snap that the Sean Watson has ever taken for the Browns Which hasn't been very many to be honest
- 37:48[SPEAKER_05]: but I still watch them.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_05]: And they haven't been very good.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_05]: There's been some good ones.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like a sit here and act like he's never been good in a Cleveland Browns uniform.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_05]: It's just never been consistent.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_05]: It's never been very repeatable.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's been very sporadic.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_05]: And it's been bad more than it's been good.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean for for what he got paid.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's not my money.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's Jimmy's money.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: So it's no skin off my back.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: If he loses it, but at the end of the day, you pay that much out as a fan.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: You want to see the return and all he's ever been is one half against Baltimore and a titans game in my opinion.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then he's been okay, you know.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, you're right.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: And so I said this the other night.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_05]: I've been saying this for kind of for a while it really made a lot of sense for them to do it this way and and this is on if I had to place a bet beforehand This is what it would have been
- 38:41[SPEAKER_05]: they're not going to because when you get to Cleveland next week for the the preseason home openers the first Browns football game in the stadium for this season and you know you roll out the all the the atrix and everything for the starters and they come running out the tunnel you're not announcing to Sean Watson as you're starting quarterback to the home crowd for the first game of the season right it's not going to happen it was always going to be should door at home
- 39:09[SPEAKER_05]: The Sean on now he's going to get booed in Chicago he gets booed in every stadium nobody likes him.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_05]: He'll get booed in Chicago, but it's a it's different getting booed by your home crowd and I think the Browns are probably trying to protect his mentality.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_05]: his confidence, and they're not going to roll him out in front of the home crowd as these starting quarterback until they absolutely have to, which will probably be week three.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I guess maybe they'll, I don't know, if they name him the starting quarterback and then don't play him at all in the preseason game against the Patriots, that third game, that'll be, that'd be pretty interesting.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I would go over and well at all because like the way that's the fansky hand that last year let's throw it out like that like this like I mean Monkins a different coach I don't know if it's gonna be handled this way and some coaches do it some coaches don't so preseason game one We already know uh it was just gonna come out right first half and then the next guy comes out for a quarter and then the other two quarterbacks figure it out
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: Then they're going to do it a little bit different.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: I remember last the last two seasons because of three games, the three preseason games.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: They just basically cleared the benches at the second preseason game.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: And then with the dress rehearsal was the third.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: The sounds like it's going to be a little bit different.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: Now the dress rehearsal still could be the third.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: But who's who's Sanders playing with in the second game?
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's where I wanted him.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and we don't know, we won't know that, but if he's playing with a bunch of scrubs and how you compare an Apple's apples, right?
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: So you play the bunch of stuff in Carolina and one, okay, yeah, fair point fair point and that that all gave us something to think about, right?
- 40:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I mean, you're your top receivers, Caden Davis, you're throwing the South Canella like,
- 40:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean that's that's pretty bad that's pretty bad.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_05]: So it can be worse.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_05]: I have a I don't know if I want to call it a theory I just want to throw this out there.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to kind of balance this off of you here in front of everybody see what you guys in the chat think I've got this feeling Again no sources I this is no no I'm not reporting anything I've got this feeling that Deshawn Watson was predetermined to be the starting quarterback before any of this ever started
- 41:29[SPEAKER_05]: but the browns are pretty, they know it's probably not gonna last.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_05]: So, or maybe even Todd Munkin' knew it's not gonna last with the Sean for very long.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like a lot of people say this quarterback competition kind of seems fake.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it wasn't a really a competition that the outcome was already pre-decided.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_05]: And I think there could be some validity to that, but what the quarterback competition gives us, it gave should door an entire off season of taking half of the first team reps.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_05]: Instead of just being the QB2 from the get go, he got to rotate in, be the first team, prepare and train like the first team quarterback for a large part of this training camp in off season.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_05]: So I think that they were preparing him to start this year.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_05]: Even if he doesn't start the season, which I think he should, but he might not, he probably won't.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_05]: He'll play the majority of the season though, at quarterback for the Browns.

- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean with with the Sean Watson, first of all, like when we got, I, I told you what I thought I thought a month is here to fix Watson, but then we heard about the test, oh, how are you going to, how are you going to get the most out of Shador Sanders, which is supposedly one of the questions on the test, yeah, my mind, my mind set changed, right, but then as I listen to there's like the Cleveland media and then you listen to the NFL network and the national media.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: The national media really, I don't feel has ever been on Shidorah sander side.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like I just listened to Ian rap a poor last week and white garafolo before that.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: And they've always been, it's Watson, it's Watson, it's Watson, and it's like three main things with him, it's his experience.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's I forgot the other one and but it's the money.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's the money.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's the money.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's the money.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: You can't.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's a business.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_02]: The NFL's a business and when you invest that much money, they're going to get a shot right.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_02]: And that's basically what it is.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's a veteran and he's got the stats.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's got he's got all pros.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: I know that was a long time ago I totally get that, but when you paid for it, you didn't get it.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_02]: You're still gonna take the old beater that's a Corvette in your garage and you're gonna try and get the most out of it.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you don't want to you don't want to take the the yards to work like I do.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_05]: This this organization
- 46:41[SPEAKER_05]: bad decision after wrong choice on repeat at the quarterback position for decades.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like this is just another one of those.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm not surprised.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_05]: The ownership does metal guys for anybody new to the Cleveland fan base.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_05]: To an end.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_05]: Don't if you don't have like the full history like we do of being a Browns fan.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_05]: It happens.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_05]: It has happened quite a bit over the years.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's not surprising, but I will say this after thinking about it and not being surprised that they named it Sean the starter for the first game.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_05]: I'm glad.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm glad because I don't think he's good anymore.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_05]: And 664 days, how you can't keep missing this much time in the professional sports, getting older and older and more hurt, and somehow reclaim what you had when you were 10 years
- 47:39[SPEAKER_05]: Saturday, we get to find out right away.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_05]: Right away.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_05]: You know, now if he I said this earlier, if he goes out and light it up and looks like, oh my gosh, he's recaptured some of the magic.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_05]: Again, temper on the on the good looking things pay attention to the things that go wrong because more indicative, but.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_05]: I guess it could happen, I don't expect it to.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like the preseason games could be the ultimate equalizer in this whole thing, because we've just been hearing reports, we've been getting fed whatever from the coaches, and the organization, and the media about these quarterbacks.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_05]: But now on Saturday, we get to actually just sit back and watch it and see it with our own eyes.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was interesting that you put a short out.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I spoke about it last week because I heard it in a previous conversation that Mountain has now twice because you got yours all serious satellite.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: I had mine on some Cleveland Browns radio.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: But Mountain's twice now said that St. Louis Sanders has a stronger arm, which is if you compare their draft profiles, that is not the case.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: Primary reason for drafting the Sean Watson was his athletic ability, which had a very strong arm.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_02]: the primary reason for drafting should or Sanders was his ability to break down plays, fast processing and delivering some deep balls and a lot of small ball and he was really good at that.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: But he was not noted for his strong arm and if should or has a stronger arm than him now, that's indicative of where he is.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_02]: That might not be good.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_05]: That's a shoulder.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: That's the shoulder injury man.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_05]: I'm telling you, um, he just 20, 24 didn't look the same.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_05]: Then look like he couldn't put in for the ball the same.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it's a problem, I've heard people say that there've been some dirt balls thrown in camp.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_05]: I've seen some dirt passes on Cameron Justice's compilation videos.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see if he gets the entire first half.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_05]: That's a lot of football.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_05]: That is a long half for him after almost two years of not playing any NFL football against an opposing defense at all.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_05]: so can this guy even take a hit like a real hit he can't get hit in practice so
- 49:55[SPEAKER_05]: the center is going to be a big test for him.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's much more for Deshawn than it is for Shador because Shador played last year.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_05]: He's in the end, he's in the flow of the NFL.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_05]: He's trained in preparing like it's just a continuation for him.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_05]: Deshawn is the one that it's like, this is big for him.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: And he did not leave good games a good tape behind when he did play.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we got a specific offensive coordinator.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man, I'm going to be like chasing the puffy tail here.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: Someone's someone here's from Malaysia.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, I saw that.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy and but you know to get back to it like I mean he didn't leave good tape like it was not good at all.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean The offense of corny was specifically picked for him and it was an offensive coordinator Condorcy.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, can Dorsey that had success with Newton and he had success with Alan and now we got another guy that's had success with a lot of quarterbacks Mainly Lamar Jackson and you know what can he do
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see, but I think it'll be more of the same.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_05]: I do, too.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_05]: Historically speaking, it has not been great.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_05]: I just, it's wild when I hear people think, if anybody ever throws out, well, what if he recaptures used in form, just stop it?
- 51:12[SPEAKER_05]: That was over six, seven years ago now.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I mean,
- 51:19[SPEAKER_05]: That doesn't happen.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_05]: People don't magically go back 10 years younger and play the way they did when they were in college.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: The most, the longest you can go is maybe a year like Randall Cunningham in a year out and then had a monster season for the Vikings.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: uh... giants and them with the cardinals and had some pretty good years but that's not it man maybe two years i can't think of somebody well okay sorry uh... feel up rivers came off the bench and was like all right you know jocacco this same year that the show wants and heard his shoulder and look like he was struggling throughout those first games but you know whenever he was in now the lineup jocacco comes in off the bench semi retired no one wanted him
- 52:05[SPEAKER_05]: 300 yard game boom boom boom boom boom boom.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: Just that's a that's actually I'm glad you brought that up because you know what he did Flacco That was way way better than to Sean Watson was the play action fakes and that's what sold a lot of that six game win streak And I still don't know if he's a play action guy and I think that's what monk didn't want
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: It wants a good play action game because this is a year, especially like I know I told you these preseason games are going to pass a lot, but that's because they need to figure out their pass or I think we're going to be running a bit because we don't have the pass or so we can control those games with this defense and when you do that you need to have a good play action pass game and you need someone that can play action pass well and that's the fake.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Nope, I agree with you.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: So that's basically the run down on the quarterback conversation.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_05]: Again, a couple of voice mills here.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_05]: I know we're at 10 minutes or so for the episode left.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_05]: Let me play this first one because this will speak to the quarterback situation.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_05]: This first one's from Priya.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, my name's Priya.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: I guess one year listener, first time caller, I'm definitely here because of Shador.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in Seattle, so super-to-team.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_00]: But I've definitely become kind of invested in the Browns because they are such a young team.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: I've been able to kind of start with each new player and kind of understand how they're doing and wanting to see their storylines and their,
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: progress and I want to see you should or progress.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that he's like the best or anything I see his flaws, but I also think that especially if operationally like those are his concerns, I think that rapes are the most important thing.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: So given this kerfuffle with rapes, I do think it's from ownership, they seem to have a weird connection with disson, especially like going to his wedding and stuff.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that Mary Kay's original source was from JW, I think, and then
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: hit her her sources from Shon's camp, and then recently with saying what Shon Shon knew, I think it was about, it was from his agent, because it sounded very eagent-speaky.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the fact that it was press release and not a coach's quote is very notable, because Todd Munkin has been very deliberate, he's been very honest, he might kind of have to walk things back or this or that.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that the ownership is trying to set Shon up to look more successful than he is.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: pad those reps and then feed things to reporters so that they can try to sell this to a fan base that is just not going to be sold on him.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that I hope monkey steps up and like really puts his foot down because it's not just us that are going to lose faith in him.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's also the locker room in Shador and he knows football better and he knows who the QB1 should be.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_05]: Priya, the chat, she's correct.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: Colour Cookin', I agree with the caller.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: That was a great voicemail.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for falling in.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_05]: Well said, one, there was, kind of you all let you talk about it in a second.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_05]: Here's one thing that she said in there mentioned that I wanted to elaborate on.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_05]: She said about the agent, something that was put out, sounded kind of like agent speak.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_05]: When we were talking to Brown's film breakdown crew the other day, I can't, they said the same thing.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_05]: And I can't, I'll stop my head, I can't remember Sean Watson's agent's name, but he's a prominent agent, if I remember correctly in the NFL.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_05]: And unfortunately, these things do happen, these things play a role where there could be an agreement or something in place between the Browns and the agent saying, listen.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_05]: I need my client to start the season because whenever I'm going to be recruiting my next clients, the next big names and the NFL, I can use this as a case study and point back and say, look, I got my client back on the field.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_05]: I got him back in the starting spot after all this happened and he was still the guy for them and all this stuff.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_05]: And it's something I hadn't thought about as playing a part in this, but unfortunately that kind of stuff can't say it doesn't
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think she's just really connected to the dots.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_02]: She must be in media relations or social media because I mean, she really understood how the connections between all the different media and the people that run the Cleveland Browns.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what you do, but that was a fantastic connection.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that was amazing.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_02]: You're right on that.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's not much more I can actually say than that that sounded amazing.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, number two, you really connected to dots.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: I was awesome.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_05]: So, Priya, thank you.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_05]: I feel free to call back in with some more of your insight and takes because that was very good.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_05]: Um, let's see next voice.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_05]: Now we'll just do one more here tonight and it's from our other girl, Stacey.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_04]: Guys, it's Stacey.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I just got done listening to Todd one kid's press conference and I was just trying to pick you guys' brains a little bit on what he said.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, I imagine you're going to go over it in an episode.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but as far as what I'm hearing and I don't know, again, I could just be wrong.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just speculating.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like the Sean is definitely starting the preseason game one and that being said to me I don't know it seems like it's a little bit of Jimmy meddling, but I could be wrong I just feel like it's been obvious in the training camps and in videos and the media and anything that's coming back Shidorah's looking like the top guy he's looking a lot more confident his throws are a lot more on point
- 57:19[SPEAKER_04]: Why would Deshawn then be in their eyes QB1 and QB to start the first preseason game?
- 57:25[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, it just doesn't really make a lot of sense to me.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_04]: Also, I heard him mention a little bit about the wide receivers.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like Denzel Boston is looking like a wide receiver one and from the clips and stuff, I can definitely understand
- 57:38[SPEAKER_04]: why that is to be seen.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_04]: But that being said, it's kind of looking like Denzel number one Casey number two, I say a bond number three, and then that number four spot, we would have assumed to be Jerry Judy, but how do you guys feel about that being Jerry Judy, and would you rather it be someone like maybe like a Luke Floria or a Gagellardian or someone else?
- 57:57[SPEAKER_04]: All right, guys, thanks.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_02]: So Jerry, Judy to me is like, Dishon Watson, these guys just have nine lives.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: My team.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they have nine lives for their professional lives.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_02]: And he's going to be number one from what I understand.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: He drops a lot of balls based on what I've seen come out of camp, you know what I mean?
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: I would love to see someone like Luke Floria and when Josh and I were picking players That we wanted to highlight.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_02]: I've forgot about Luke Floria because I've been so on the Marshall train, but he's a guy to me that's gonna be a gamer.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's gonna put some really good game tape out It's just a matter if they have room form
- 58:40[SPEAKER_02]: is he going to be a guy that can be on special teams and how is his blocking because that's how he's going to stay on the team.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_02]: And there's another guy, Tim and Wallace who can block play special teams and can catch he looks like he's fantastic.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_02]: So he's going to be a hard guy to beat out.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: The floria gets on.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be maybe number six.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_05]: The girls, you guys are on the same page tonight calling and those are some great voicemails.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it goes back to what we were saying.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_02]: You, the Cleveland Browns are a business and they're protecting their investment and they're gonna make their investment look at.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's, that's them.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_02]: If you wanna call it meddling, it's meddling if it's calling you, calling it your business interest or whatever it is.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_02]: They put a lot of money into them and it could be something along the lines you were saying like the agents also protecting is his client and maybe trying to get him something else for next year.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_05]: And I call it what Todd Munkin calls it shitty football shitty football decisions, but to go real quick to the receiver thing so I think when we're talking about who's the one who's the two
- 59:59[SPEAKER_05]: We need to understand what we're talking about in that conversation.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_05]: So who is your number one receiver in terms of, who is going to be your Alpha Target earner?
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_05]: Like the guy, your go-to receiver, the guy that he is going to lead the team in targets because when you need to get a play done, like that's who we're drawing up plays for and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_05]: That's a different conversation than who is your X, Y, Z, because you're going to have two starting receivers.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_05]: As far as, you know, Boston's going to be your X.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to start at your X.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_05]: And then Judy's going to start at your Y, and then Z slot will probably be K, C. But I think that's going to switch.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think K, C can easily go out wide.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_05]: He can play all the positions, which is what makes him so versatile.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_05]: And then I think throughout time,
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_05]: Jerry Judy will organically be phased out by Isaiah Bond and the other two rookies.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_05]: So the three young guys and I saw Jake Burns was talking about this two today, if those three guys Casey, Boston, and Bond, if we can come out of this season with those three solidified as our dominant core trio at wider seaver, we will be looking awesome moving forward because I think that there's
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_02]: Sprinkle a little fanon on there too.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'll don't be shy.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_02]: Little, you know, like man, man, that's going to be good.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, one thing that we haven't mentioned or talked a lot about because it's not sexy is the offensive line and that's my biggest worry because it don't matter.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_02]: What any of these guys do if the quarterback's always laying on his back or getting it rushed or hit or whatever, we need that offensive line to gel.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_02]: I need guys to be consistently together.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_02]: So they get to be one cohesive unit.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what I really need to see out of this game.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_02]: I know quarterback is awesome to talk about and everybody thinks they're right about who should be in or who should be there and the receivers are going to be the beneficiaries there because when everything's in sync there's protection for the quarterback the quarterback delivers the ball and time the receivers get it, but that all starts with the offensive line and we really really need to see that.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and the quarterback also can't operate the offense.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_05]: The way Todd Monkin wants him to if we can't get any push in the run game.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_05]: We can't be, that's right.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_05]: If we're running third and eight, every freaking series.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_05]: We saw what we saw with that looks like the last two years.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's not going to be 12.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, if you're lucky, you get 5 and 12.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_05]: It's just not got to be overrun the ball.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_05]: Got to be all set up the pass.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_05]: Got to be able to throw the ball to set up the run.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's all got to work together.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_05]: And it all starts on Saturday.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to wrap this thing up for you guys.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_05]: First of all, chat.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you guys.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_05]: This has been awesome.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_05]: I love seeing all the comments and the conversation in there.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_05]: Trust me, I'm reading them as we're talking.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_05]: So I appreciate everybody who's been here tonight.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_05]: If you're tuning in after this has already been published, thank you for watching the show and tuning in.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be a fun one, it's going to be, there's a lot, you know, if sometimes preseason games, when you've got to establish veterans, you know, on your starting positions, it's like, okay, we'll see maybe a couple of the rookies or death pieces, but preseason is preseason for us right now.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_05]: This is the youngest roster I think in the NFL, so a lot of what happens in the preseason matters for the 53 moving forward.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_05]: So Saturday, one o'clock, Browns go up, face the bears, the Sean Watson gets the start, we'll see you should do it in the third
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_05]: going to be interesting.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_05]: So drop your, you know, your predictions, comments, whatever you guys want to talk about here in the comments after the fact, and we'll go through them later.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_05]: Kenny, anything you want to end on?
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, quick.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_02]: Blackhacker, white acre.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you guys for the unbiased talk.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_02]: Blake and Justin, we miss you.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then Neil Gray basically agrees with us.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_02]: JW and Jimmy are the ones giving lots in the soft launch.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the Shesuper chat guys.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_02]: And I am just pumped to see some football.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_02]: I know there's, I don't want to try to be negative, but I want to be realistic with you guys, but what you need to see and offensive line is key for the of all the other stuff that
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_02]: My one last one is when tailing green gets out there.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm afraid he's going to throw a monkey wrench in all this quarterback talk Because you're going to have like three plays and two are going to go for touchdowns and then we're going to want tailing green.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_02]: So there you go.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's going to tear up the second half of that fourth quarter.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to tear up those fourth stringers.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_05]: Alright everybody thanks again for tuning in and we will be back we're planning to do a live recap show Saturday night eight o'clock after the game that is the plan as of now we'll let you know if that changes but we'll be doing a recap at some point that's when it's scheduled for can't wait to see you then hopefully we're talking about and again I don't care if they win or lose the game but I want to talk about some positive take ways more than I'm talking about holy crap we got a long way to go.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_02]: Every Browns game in the pre-season isn't always like 21-19 or 18-16 with all the same scores.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go Brownies.
