- 0:03Good morning family, Good morning God, blessed you. Welcome back to the
- 0:06morning Devot. And that's your brother Sam Lopez. I get a DJ,
- 0:10Sam Rock, and I'm struggling right here with a little code that I have,
- 0:18so excuse me. I'm going to rasp me this in my voice.
- 0:22But we get to push through. Hey man, and I'm gonna try to
- 0:25get this done. This one is called Results of Trusting God. This is
- 0:30part number five, the last part of a five part series that man,
- 0:34it took longer than usual just because of life and traveling and time with family.
- 0:40But this is part five. This is where I wanted to end with
- 0:44this series, Results of Trusting God. This is part five. We noticed
- 0:49that there's the results in trusting God. What's in it for you? When
- 0:53you are trusting and putting your hope and faith in the true, living,
- 0:56holy, righteous, loving God? What's in it for you? Right?
- 1:00I know it sounds selfish, but it's a question that everybody asks, So
- 1:03why not ask the question? What is it? What's the results of trusting
- 1:08in God? And we went through four. It is the fifth one the
- 1:14four that we went through. As a recap for those who miss the series,
- 1:17you could go back and start from part one of this series. The
- 1:21first one is excuse me, is protection. Protection, second one is gladness.
- 1:32The third word is peace, the fourth is blessing. And today we're
- 1:36going to talk about confidence, the confidence that God gives us when we trust
- 1:42in him, an amazing confidence. Some people call it gonfidence, but it's
- 1:48confidence, Amen. And his word and his love and his grace and his
- 1:52mercy and his power and his protection and his Hoping in God never disappoints.
- 1:59I'll just put it that to make it short. Hoping in the Lord never
- 2:01disappoints. You will never be disappointed when you put your whole faith in trust
- 2:06in the Living God. He's an amazing God. He does it all because
- 2:10he wants to, not because he has to, because he wants to.
- 2:15And why what causes God to do these wonderful, miraculous things for us His
- 2:21love, because by definition God is love. In essence, God is love,
- 2:27Amen, and that's a powerful thing. Man. So let me just
- 2:30share this real quickly to my group so that way they know we're here.
- 2:35Amen. On the blaze Barber Studies groups and boom, there you go.
- 2:42So we're here. So if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 2:45or any prayer requests. My prayer request for you for me a man,
- 2:49would be to help me to get over this chest cold that I have been
- 2:53fighting for a couple of days. Amen. So my voice to be cleared
- 2:57up, Amen, and I feel a little better. Amen, unselfish,
- 3:00plug right, and I'll be praying for you and your family as well.
- 3:04So if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or any prayer requests,
- 3:07don't hesitate to leave it all. The live chat from wherever you're watching
- 3:12or listening to this from should be a way to connect with us here on
- 3:16these platforms. Amen. Answer that way, we could stay in connection and
- 3:22stay in contact with each other because that's what God wants us to do anyway.
- 3:25Amen. He wants us to be in communication with Him first and communication
- 3:30with one another. Right, And that's the best way we could get this
- 3:34confidence and knowing what we know and knowing who we know through Christ Jesus,
- 3:38a man who gives us the strength, who gives us the strength to get
- 3:42everything that He wants to done through our lives. And we can have confidence
- 3:46in that. Amen. So the role here was trusting God shows confidence that
- 3:53his timing. His timing, not my timing, not your timing, but
- 3:57his timing is perfect. How many people have been in a time where they
- 4:02desperately needed God to respond, or to react, or to really get involved
- 4:11a man with what's going on in our lives. Right, I've been there,
- 4:15You've been there, and the timing seems off right, It seems like
- 4:18God, I needed you yesterday. We see it in the scripture when Lazarus,
- 4:24a friend of Jesus, dies, and their sisters are like, Jesus,
- 4:27where were you? And Jesus comes after the fact. But notice that
- 4:31Jesus came right on time to raise Lazarus from the dead and to show Lazarus's
- 4:40family, his sisters, and all those who were there present and till this
- 4:44very day. We know because we see the story that he came right on
- 4:46time. Jesus, God shows up on time. His time maings perfect.
- 4:54We're gonna be in Psalms chapter one hundred and twelve, Verse number seven,
- 4:58Psalms one twelve, number seven on today's morning devo with your bro Sam Lopez.
- 5:02So let's pray first. After we pray, we'll share this out for
- 5:05like sixty seconds. And on the other side, of those sixty seconds will
- 5:09get right into today's morning Devo. So Lloyd God, I thank you so
- 5:13much for today. I thank you, Lord God that I'm already feeling my
- 5:15chest clear up and my voice clear up. Thank you so much for your
- 5:18power, of your healing power. I pray the same healing power over every
- 5:23single person that's listening and watching right now. Who's connecting now, who will
- 5:26connect later, who will listen later, who will watch later? Amen,
- 5:30a blessing, a hedge of protection over me and my family, them and
- 5:32their families as well. In Jesus' name, I pray Lord God, the
- 5:36arkmen angels, the minister angels, the warring angels, to annihilate every single
- 5:41tactic of the enemy, every plan, and the enemy will be canceled by
- 5:45the power of your word, by the power of your grace, mercy and
- 5:47love, and who you are by way of your spirit. I thank you,
- 5:50Lord God, that the results of trusting in You gives us all confidence
- 5:55in knowing that You are the true, living, holy, righteous, loving
- 5:58God that we serve. Thank you, Lord God for saving, rescuing,
- 6:01for responding, for restoring, for redeeming, for reacting. Amen, in
- 6:05our lives and I thank you, Love God for your holy spirit that leads
- 6:10us into all truth on a day to day basis. So I pray look
- 6:14God for every single person that's listening on watching that they will get a real
- 6:19real sense of confidence knowing that they could put their whole faith and trust in
- 6:26You. In Jesus Name, I prayed this with thanksgiving, knowing that you
- 6:29hear these prayers and you answer them according to your purpose and plan for each
- 6:32and every individual person in their lives as well. In Jesus Name. And
- 6:38those who agree, we say amen and amen. So let's go for it.
- 6:41Let's take them innute. Help me share this out. If you know
- 6:43people right now that are not on social media for whatever reason, for good
- 6:46reasons, you can send them straight to my YouTube page which is Dj sam
- 6:50Rock on the YouTube, or you can share the links. Soone is with
- 6:55a z dot org or live that someone is with a z dot org when
- 7:00we're live, that's that's the actual website to go where we're live to catch
- 7:05up on replacing all that and everything that's happening with the Celebrator network. And
- 7:09so when is ministry, So when is with a Zeta orgy is to go
- 7:13to links. I'll be right back. Hey man, we're back. We're
- 8:43back. Let's see what the Lord has for us today by way of his
- 8:46word. We're calling this one Confidence and this is the series the Results of
- 8:52Trusting God. This is part number five of a five part series. Because
- 8:56I knew that we had to take a break off the regular things that we
- 9:01were doing, even though there's nothing really regular when it comes to the Word
- 9:03of God. But usually I would go through a series of things of different
- 9:09topics that God would give me. And he prompted me to take a moment
- 9:13in time to just people, concluding myself, wanted to know what are the
- 9:18results of trusting in God? What's the benefits? In other words, what's
- 9:24going on here? Like why should I put my whole faith and trust in
- 9:28God. Well, there's five reasons that I could see from the scriptures,
- 9:33and five results are protection, gladness, peace, blessing, and today we're
- 9:39talking about confidence. Psalm Chatter one hundred and twelve, Verse number seven.
- 9:43Let me get this ready prepared for the screen for those who are listening.
- 9:46Welcome back to the radio network, and welcome back to the podcast. Thank
- 9:50you so much for listening. I see the numbers. It gives me more
- 9:52confidence and to know and more hope and realize that people are still seeking the
- 9:58Lord g People are still seeking truth. People are still wanting the Word of
- 10:03God. Amen. And they're not resisting as much as I thought people will
- 10:07be resisting the love of God, the hope of God, trusting in God
- 10:13right, the Word of God, Holy Spirit God, Amen, that is
- 10:18present in our days daily. And we say things a lot of people,
- 10:22secluding myself, sometimes I say, you know that God will rest on us,
- 10:26surround us and this kind of and third by his Holy Spirit. But
- 10:31I realized, why am I asking God to surround me or to fill a
- 10:35room when He's present in me and every living person who believes in the Lord
- 10:41Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We have Holy Spirit in us. Amen.
- 10:45So we don't have to continue to ask Him to be surrounding us,
- 10:48feeling us, filling our rooms and all this other stuff. Let's stick to
- 10:52the word. Let's trust God. Let's have confidence in what He has done
- 10:56and what He is doing daily, moment by moment in our lives personally and
- 11:01corporately. Amen. So we don't have to, you know, continue to
- 11:05beg for God's Holy Spirit, which is present in us, to be restoring
- 11:13and rescuing us. And this, that and the third one. He's already
- 11:16there present. I think what happens is we shut his voice down. We
- 11:20shut his voice, and we are so concerned with other voices and other things
- 11:26that we're not allowing the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit God to speak and be
- 11:31heard in our lives. Amen. That could be. That could be it,
- 11:35because I don't know why I ask for certain things sometimes myself, when
- 11:39I know for sure that God and I have confidence in God being in me
- 11:45the hope of glory and for God being and every single person who puts the
- 11:50whole faith in trust in God, we have the hope of glory, which
- 11:52is founding the Word of God. Amen. And I believe the word,
- 11:56and I hope you believe the word too. So here we go Psalms,
- 12:00Chapter one, seventeen, verse number seven. He will not fear bad news
- 12:05as hard as step fast trusting. And here it is confidently relying on and
- 12:11believing in the Lord. Now bad news is going to come, whoever is
- 12:18telling you, because I've heard this being preached, and I heard this being
- 12:22taught in circles of Christianity around the country and around the world that once you
- 12:26have God, when bad news comes, they meant it would be eliminated and
- 12:33it would be always good news. And that's not true. You could read
- 12:37the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luken, John for yourself. There was
- 12:39bad news coming by way of prophecy. There's bad news coming by way of
- 12:43the Lord himself. When he said he was going to die and across to
- 12:48the people right then and there, that's not good news. That's bad news.
- 12:52But God knows the end result and it became good news. But he
- 12:56the person who trusts in God, the person will not fear bad news right
- 13:03his heart. And of course this is in the masculine woman. This includes
- 13:09you mankind. His heart is steadfast, trusting, confidently, relying on and
- 13:16believing in the Lord, not believing in a religion, not believing in a
- 13:20system, not believing in some kind of organized church, but believing in the
- 13:26Lord himself. Very important because a lot of people put their whole faith and
- 13:30trust in idols. They put their whole faith and trust and systems. They
- 13:33put their whole faith and trust in programs. They put their whole faith in
- 13:37trust in churches and all that, But listen, when you have we need
- 13:43this confidence. We need to rely and believe in the Lord himself. So
- 13:48when bad news comes and then will come, we will we will not fear
- 13:52that bad news, and we will have our heart focused and step fast.
- 13:56We will have a trust and we will lie on the living Lord of the
- 14:01Word. Amen. He's the living Word of God. He's the Lord Jesus.
- 14:05So I don't know another way to explain that other than put your faith,
- 14:09hope and trust in God. Amen, and realize that He's in us
- 14:15and working through us daily, not just periodically, not just every week or
- 14:20every weekend or weekdays during prayer services or whatever the case may be. All
- 14:24those things are good to do. Go to prayer services. As a matter
- 14:28of fact, why did I say that, Amen, Prayer services should be
- 14:33lit. It should be like the most occupied day of the week or day
- 14:39of the month. Prayer is key man. We're connecting and we're communicating with
- 14:43the living, Holy, Righteous God, the chief cornerstone, the one who
- 14:48we pray to, is the one who answers those prayers. So prayer meetings
- 14:52and all that, Amen, should be popular. It should be around the
- 14:56world popular, not just a certain circle of Christianity. It should be popular
- 15:03every day every time. People should be showing up by the truckloads, by
- 15:07the bust loads, Amen, onto these prayer meetings. But that's just something
- 15:11that I don't know what happened with us as believers. And I'm pretty sure
- 15:16there's still believers in Christ that pray. They get together and pray Amen,
- 15:22and it takes two more. It doesn't take a lot. But in my
- 15:26humble opinion, I think that should be key to getting together to pray to
- 15:31the living, loving, holy, righteous God a man, so we could
- 15:35get more confidence in who he is and what he's doing in our lives.
- 15:37Bonus Scripture, Psalms chapter fifty six, verse number four. Psalms fifty six,
- 15:43verse number four. The Bible says, in God, whose word I
- 15:48praise, it goes praise. If you want confidence, praise God, praise
- 15:52in God. I trust. I will not be afraid. What can mortal
- 15:58man do to me? Good question? Amen, I will not be afraid.
- 16:03And trusting in God gives you confidence that whatever bad news, whatever is
- 16:08going on in this world a man, we're not supposed to be afraid of
- 16:11those things, because the fear that the world is trying to put on us,
- 16:17the fear that the enemy is trying to put on us. It's not
- 16:19from the spirit of God. Fear is not given to us by God.
- 16:22Amen. That's the spirit. The spirit of fear was not giving us by
- 16:26God. So who did this fear come from? Came from the world system,
- 16:30the less of the eyes, pride of life, Amen, and the
- 16:33devil himself. So we're not going to be afraid. We're gonna have confidence
- 16:36in what the Word of God says and what the Word of God is doing
- 16:38in our lives. But the frank God, bless you, good morning,
- 16:41my brother. Relying on my Lord is all real. I believe in Him
- 16:47every single day. Amen. Yes, And you have more confidence knowing that
- 16:51God is there. That God is Jehovah Shama, the God who is there,
- 16:53the God who is here, to God who is everywhere, omnipresent God,
- 16:56all powerful God. He has all authority an what he says happens right,
- 17:03So we can have confidence in that. Thank you so much for the
- 17:06comment, my brother and my friends. So the results of trusting in God
- 17:10are amazing. Amen. You could read all through the scriptures, you could
- 17:14read the story of Abraham, right he trusted God. God sent him to
- 17:18places where he didn't even know where he was going. He just trusted in
- 17:22the voice of God and relied on God, not on an opinion. He
- 17:26didn't rely on a system. He said, Wow, I'm hearing from the
- 17:30Lord, and I'm gonna trust God. And he went. Abraham. You
- 17:34could read Genesis chapter seventeen, verses fifteen to nineteen that illustrates the confidence that
- 17:42Abraham, the Father of our faith, had in the Lord. Amen.
- 17:47So we could look at his life and be like, well, this was
- 17:48a real man in a real situation, being spoken by a real God.
- 17:52A man's being spoken to by a real God. And he left everything he
- 17:57knew behind and went forward and went into unknown Serbritory because God told them to
- 18:03go there. Amen. And because he went, he was now known.
- 18:07He's now known as the Father of faith. I mean, he did what
- 18:10God asked of him. Three young men. Remember that and Daniel chapter number
- 18:15three. You could see what these three young men did, and how they
- 18:19had confidence in the living, holy, righteous, loving God, and how
- 18:22they didn't let fear get into their hearts and didn't let fear get into their
- 18:30mind. But they did according to what God wanted them to do. And
- 18:33now we read about them in the story in the Book of David chapter three.
- 18:38How about the centurion soldier, Amen, and Matthew chapter eight, verses
- 18:44five to ten. We see the centurion soldier just trusting in the Lord and
- 18:48say, listen, if you do this, Lord, I know will be
- 18:51done. Amen. I don't know. I hope that's the story, because
- 18:56there's two stories I'm thinking of of. But the soldier that cut you Jesus
- 19:00on the side and said truly, this is the son of God, or
- 19:03the other centurion that's found in Matthew chapter eight, verses five to ten.
- 19:07Let me go there real quick. I have a couple of minutes. Matthew
- 19:11chapter What did I say, Matthew Chapter eight, five to ten. Let's
- 19:15read it real quick. And this will give you confidence when you read the
- 19:18Word and you read the stories about people in the Bible, Amen, that
- 19:25literally trusted God. And then you see the blessing that they received by trusting
- 19:30God. Those are the results of trusting God. Amen. And look at
- 19:33this Matthew chapter eight, versus five to ten. Now, when Jesus had
- 19:41entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him pleading him, with him saying,
- 19:48Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed. Through the story, my
- 19:52servant is at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. And Jesus said to him,
- 19:57I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord,
- 20:03I am not worthy that you should come under my roof. But only speak
- 20:08a word. Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
- 20:14You could also see the cross reference Psalm one oh seven, verse twenty,
- 20:18verse nine. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under
- 20:25me. And I say to this one, go and he goes. And
- 20:29to another come and he comes. And to my servant, do this,
- 20:33and he does it. So he knew about authority. So when Jesus heard
- 20:37it, he marveled and said to those who followed assuredly, I say to
- 20:42you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel verse
- 20:48eleven. And I say to you, this is the Lord speaking. And
- 20:52I say to you that many will come from east and west and sit down
- 20:56with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven. But the sons
- 21:00of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. But the sons of
- 21:06the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness that will be weeping and gnashing
- 21:11of teeth. Wow. So we see it here that dis Inturion had great
- 21:17confidence in God and Jesus, knowing that all Jesus had to do is send
- 21:21the word. He said, Noah, I don't come to my home because
- 21:23you know my home it's not ready to fit. It's not fit for a
- 21:29king, it's not fit for a savior. Amen. That's what the Centurian
- 21:32was saying. To speak the word because he knew he had confidence in the
- 21:37Lord Jesus. He had seen Jesus with his own eyes to perform miracles,
- 21:41signs and wonders, and said, listen, if you just speak a word,
- 21:44I know my servant at home will be healed in Jesus' name. Right.
- 21:48So this is an amazing thing. When you trust in God, you
- 21:52trust and the results of trusting in God today which one of my confidence boost
- 21:59your confidence, not your ego. It boosts your confidence. We don't have
- 22:03faith and faith. We have faith in the living, loving, holy,
- 22:04righteous, loving God. He's alive. Amen, and he does what he
- 22:10says he's going to do. When God promises you or me something, those
- 22:15promises come to pass. It's not just like wishful thinking like a lot of
- 22:19people think this is, or they think it's like, you know, imaginary
- 22:25mystical stuff. No, this is real life situations, real life God,
- 22:29a real life son, a real life father, a real life holy spirit.
- 22:33Amen, that's living and is present. He is present in our day
- 22:37today activities. Now we can resist that, and we could say, now,
- 22:42God, I got this. I'll do it my way because you might
- 22:45take too long, whatever situation you might be thinking you can do better than
- 22:49God. Yeah, man, I'll be praying and I'll be praying. That
- 22:52doesn't influence me at all either, because we could tend to do things on
- 22:57our own and then give God credit later after we did what we did.
- 23:02But I rather just trust God. A man stays still, and I know
- 23:06there's a lot of things happening day to day. There's so much happening.
- 23:07I need God day to day, a man. I need him in my
- 23:11finances. I need him my health, I need him my marriage. I
- 23:14need him with my children, I need him with my church family. I
- 23:17need him every single day, Amen to keep me. So I have confidence
- 23:22in Him. But I do things. I don't stay waiting and do nothing
- 23:26and say, well, God got this, So all I gotta do is
- 23:29sit here and wait. No I do while I'm waiting. And when I
- 23:33need rest, Yeah, I rest in Christ. That's we could rest in
- 23:37God, knowing that we can have confidence that when we go to God when
- 23:40we're retired, he would give us rest, and that rest fills us up
- 23:42with more energy, more zeal, more faith, and more confidence and knowing
- 23:48that He is worth trusting. He is trustworthy. So we see the psalmis.
- 23:53He said he won't have fear of bad news, a man indicator that
- 23:59bad news can happen, and we will have bad news that we will hear
- 24:03about, and we will be experiencing some bad stuff, but we're not supposed
- 24:07to be afraid. Do not be afraid of the bad news. Why,
- 24:11because we're step fast and trusting in the Lord. We're focused on the perfector
- 24:17of our faith. He will never leave us. He will never forsake us.
- 24:19He would never abandon us. He would never put us a shame.
- 24:22He will never leave us in a stuck position. He will always give us
- 24:26confidence to get back up and to move forward and the things that he wants
- 24:30us to do and for the things that he wants us to accomplish. Have
- 24:33you noticed that God calls you and me to do things that we know one
- 24:37hundred percent we can't do it if He's not doing it through us. Hey,
- 24:41man, Holy people could raise that. I mean, I know for
- 24:44sure ninety nine something percent of the time when God speaks into my life,
- 24:49I know that it's him number one, and I know that I can't do
- 24:52it without him. So if God is asking you to do something today and
- 24:57you know for sure that's God, and you know for sure you can't do
- 25:00it on your own, then you have confidence and trust in Him. Do
- 25:03not be afraid. Just move forward. A man to follow the example of
- 25:07Abraham. When God told him to go into lands, uncharted worlds and uncharted
- 25:12lands, he went, trusting and having confidence in God. When he told
- 25:18Abraham to sacrifice his only son, he went and he did what God asked
- 25:23of him to do. And you know the story. He was testing his
- 25:27faith and when he found that his faith was trustworthy a man, God just
- 25:32blessed him so abundantly. Man, it's an amazing story and an amazing life
- 25:37that that man lived. Because we're still talking about him thousands of years later,
- 25:41we're still talking about Abraham Peter. Remember Peter, he had confidence in
- 25:48God and he had experienced the results of trusting in the Lord himself. A
- 25:52man, Matthew Chapter fourteen, twenty four to thirty two. You could check
- 25:56it out for yourself, A man. I'm running out of time here,
- 25:57so I can't go to it. But it's all riddled through the scripture placid
- 26:02all over the Bible. Man, reasons to trust God, the results of
- 26:07trusting God, all from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, from Genesis to
- 26:11Revelation. Amen. These men and women of God showed us that God is
- 26:15so trustworthy. So why wouldn't we think that when they trusted God back then,
- 26:21and he was trustworthy back then, why would we think that he's not
- 26:23trustworthy today? Put your whole faith and confidence in God. Amen, and
- 26:29you will experience the results of trusting in God. And what were they?
- 26:33The protection of God Psalm five or eleven Proverbs thirty five thirty verse five.
- 26:40The protection of God is the results of trusting in God, the gladness of
- 26:44God that we find in God Psalms chapter sixty four and ten. Amen,
- 26:49also the peace of God. Listen, I wouldn't exchange the piece of God
- 26:55for any amount of money you offer me. And you could give me one
- 26:56hundred million dollars and say no peace, or ten dollars and say peace.
- 27:00Listen, I say, keep your money on my peace. I don't care
- 27:03if it's ten or ten million. The peace of God we see the Isaiah
- 27:07chapter twenty six, verses three and four. How about this the blessing?
- 27:11Who want to want to be blessed by God? And when we sing about
- 27:14it, we talk about it, we preach about it. But do you
- 27:17really want to receive the blessing? Put your hope, faith and trust in
- 27:19him. You can see that in Isaiah twelve two, Isaiah twenty six,
- 27:23three and four. The blessing excuse me. The blessing God is Psalm eighty
- 27:26four to twelve Jeremiah seventeen seven, and today's is confidence Psalms one twelve,
- 27:33verse number seven. So that's the five parts. Man. You can see
- 27:37more in the scriptures for yourself. But I wanted to get you going by
- 27:41at least five of the results of trusting in God. So I'm out of
- 27:45time. God, bless you all. Thank you so much for hanging out
- 27:47with me. For this morning DEVO. God bless you all, God keep
- 27:49you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace,
