Speaker 1: Bought with Andrew Alison. Djokovic has had a good win
• 0:03
Speaker 1: at the Olympics. Let's have a listen to that win now.
• 0:07
Speaker 1: And a beautiful cross court fourhand winner from Djokovic. It
• 0:11
Speaker 1: was low, it was powerful, it was fast. He asks
• 0:16
Speaker 1: the crowd to give him the biggest surround of the
• 0:18
Speaker 1: round of the clause as possible for that win and
• 0:22
Speaker 1: the first medal for Serbia at the Olympics this Olympics too, Andrew,
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: good morning, read.
• 0:28
Speaker 2: Right, yep, that's a terrific win. And I guess you
• 0:31
Speaker 2: put in the context of history. There's now only five
• 0:34
Speaker 2: players who have achieved what they call the Golden Slam,
• 0:37
Speaker 2: which is to won all form majors and an Olympic
• 0:39
Speaker 2: title in the singles. So Djokovic joins Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi,
• 0:45
Speaker 2: Raphael o'dale and Serena Williams. So it's pretty aleites company.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: And it was a special moment too, wasn't. I mean
• 0:51
Speaker 1: he was on his hands and knees, he was looking
• 0:54
Speaker 1: up to I don't know god, he was crying. Great scenes. Yeah,
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: that's right.
• 0:58
Speaker 2: And another crack duel with Carlos Alcareth. So the you know,
• 1:02
Speaker 2: the I guess the champion and the and the new
• 1:05
Speaker 2: guard coming through in Alcarath and he went seven six,
• 1:08
Speaker 2: seven six. Neither neither of them broke serve over the
• 1:12
Speaker 2: course of the match. So yeah, just a couple of
• 1:14
Speaker 2: tie breaks to sort out the difference.
• 1:17
Speaker 1: How's Ryan Fox done?
• 1:19
Speaker 2: Ryan Fox thirty fifth in the end in the golf.
• 1:22
Speaker 2: So just so Simon, I thank you. You know, there
• 1:26
Speaker 2: was some outstanding golf out there today. I mean, if
• 1:29
Speaker 2: you look at the world number one Scotti Scheffle, he's
• 1:31
Speaker 2: number one for a reason and he's now the Olympic
• 1:33
Speaker 2: gold medalist with a nine underpass sixty two, just blitzing
• 1:37
Speaker 2: the field on the final day, so winning by a stroke,
• 1:40
Speaker 2: taking it away from Tommy Fleetwood Hedecki matcha Yama in
• 1:44
Speaker 2: the bronze midle position. But I think to the key
• 1:45
Speaker 2: that John Raham led by four strokes with nine holes
• 1:49
Speaker 2: to play, but four bogus in a double in the
• 1:52
Speaker 2: last nine, so slipped away for the Spaniard.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: Hey, women's road race, you got an update for.
• 1:59
Speaker 2: US yep, just seen that commentated that through this morning,
• 2:02
Speaker 2: so cyclists, the American Kristen Faulkner has won the race
• 2:06
Speaker 2: just one hundred and fifty eight kilometers that went down
• 2:09
Speaker 2: to the southwest of Paris and showcase all the best
• 2:12
Speaker 2: of the French countryside, and then back into the city
• 2:13
Speaker 2: for a few loops around the Monmartre region, and then
• 2:17
Speaker 2: they took it down to the Seine and Faulkner broke
• 2:19
Speaker 2: away in those final few k's and took it out.
• 2:22
Speaker 2: So yeah, it was dramatic scenings. I mean, the French
• 2:25
Speaker 2: they love their cycling Tour France et cetera. It's the
• 2:28
Speaker 2: greatest race in the world and all that. But yeah,
• 2:31
Speaker 2: four or five deep on a Sunday and in the
• 2:33
Speaker 2: streets and beyond the barricades, it just was a terrific
• 2:36
Speaker 2: atmosphere by locks of things. See they showcase it well.
• 2:38
Speaker 1: They do in the city. Looks beautiful, doesn't it.
• 2:41
Speaker 2: It does. Nothing has been everything's frayed, is it? Nothing
• 2:44
Speaker 2: has happened by accident there.
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: I love that.
• 2:46
Speaker 2: I just love the fact that it's that it looks
• 2:49
Speaker 2: just so natural. You just know that has been.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: There's some of the most beauty and buildings and everything
• 2:55
Speaker 1: has been blocked off, you know, so there's no people
• 2:58
Speaker 1: making it look ugly.
• 3:00
Speaker 2: When you look at the bridges, someone's had the water
• 3:01
Speaker 2: blast rout eyes on the gold and the paint's been
• 3:04
Speaker 2: all done and everything.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: It's just good on them.
• 3:06
Speaker 2: I think that's that's the way you need to host
• 3:08
  Speaker 2: a gate totally.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: And hey good on Emma Twig getting silver at the weekend.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: It was it was a little you know, you wanted
• 3:13
Speaker 1: her to get the gold, but as she called, time
• 3:16
Speaker 1: on the career too.
• 3:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, well she started all in a twig. Yeah and
• 3:19
Speaker 2: yeah she's and she's I guess, come back from Hughes
• 3:23
Speaker 2: to Supportman as well, a couple of fourths there and
• 3:25
Speaker 2: you know she retired once before, came back one gold
• 3:28
Speaker 2: and now she's into silver as well. So it's a
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: it's a tremendous career.
• 3:31
