- 1:15Speaker 1: We are both at Megan and Wendy and at Girls
- 1:18Speaker 1: Gone Hallmark.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Jumping to our Facebook group, Girls Gone Hallmark. There's been
- 1:22Speaker 2: a little chatter about The Way Home in the last
- 1:26Speaker 2: couple of days, how this is going to conclude. I
- 1:32Speaker 2: gotta say, Megan, I'm kind of sad that the season
- 1:36Speaker 2: is coming to an end. I've truly enjoyed it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: This is such a good show. Yeah, and I don't
- 1:43Speaker 1: know how to impress upon people who aren't Hallmark Channel
- 1:46Speaker 1: watchers that you don't need to be. You do not
- 1:48Speaker 1: have to enjoy the Hallmark Channel to enjoy this show.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's so well done. Which is not to say like
- 1:55Speaker 1: Hallmark doesn't produce quality content. I'm just saying I think
- 1:58Speaker 1: some people have like a mental blockfler.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I'm just a Hallmark Channel.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Right, That's not this.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I know it's so good.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It also gives me such high hopes for Ride.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I hope. I'm afraid that Ride's gonna fall below.
- 2:11Speaker 1: My ex because the bar has been said so high. Yes, yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm a little I'm sad that it's almost over. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: really was watching this episode on the edge of my
- 2:19Speaker 1: seat me.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Too, Like I could just feel like the like tension building,
- 2:25Speaker 2: where's gonna go?
- 2:26Speaker 1: They did a really nice job with that. Hey, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: hear you have some housekeeping to discuss.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You know, I just want to talk about our the
- 2:33Speaker 2: Way Home merch inspired you're wearing it right now. Inspired, yes,
- 2:36Speaker 2: inspired our cute port Haven New Brunswick sweatshirt. But no,
- 2:40Speaker 2: I realized this is nineteen ninety nine on it, and
- 2:42Speaker 2: now we're in the two thousands. I know, but whatever,
- 2:46Speaker 2: I swear it all right where it all began in
- 2:49Speaker 2: the past.
- 2:50Speaker 1: If somebody want to say custom porkyo, the New Brunswick
- 2:53Speaker 1: without the nineteen ninety nine on it, let us know.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's cute. It's such a
- 2:57Speaker 2: cute sweatshirt.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I love it. It's all we wear anymore, sweatshirts and jeans,
- 3:01Speaker 1: swetchers and jeans. That's it. Only rains here. I will
- 3:05Speaker 1: leave a link to buy your own in our show notes.
- 3:08Speaker 1: There's also stickers take Me Back. Yeah, shout out listener
- 3:12Speaker 1: Michelle for just stickers she did. I love it because
- 3:16Speaker 1: we've been talking about this every episode. The title of
- 3:18Speaker 1: this episode is The Day the Music Died, which is
- 3:21Speaker 1: a song released by Don McLean in nineteen eighteen seventy one,
- 3:24Speaker 1: which became a hit in nineteen seventy two.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and I had a real Resurgence. I remember being
- 3:29Speaker 2: in middle school and not having like being a popular
- 3:32Speaker 2: song again, and I think it had to do with
- 3:35Speaker 2: that Tom Cruise movie where he was like a went
- 3:39Speaker 2: off to war, was a veteran. I want to call
- 3:42Speaker 2: it Independence Day, but I know that's not it. People
- 3:44Speaker 2: are screaming at us right now.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Email us Mynn Windy at gmail dot com, so dms
- 3:48Speaker 1: on Instagram. I did see Garth Brooks in concert in
- 3:52Speaker 1: the nineties and he closed out his concert Ooh with
- 3:56Speaker 1: this song interesting. Okay, are you ready?
- 4:00Speaker 2: I am?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 4:03Speaker 2: We start off in the year two thousand and they
- 4:06Speaker 2: Brady and Cat are at the point and they're talking
- 4:09Speaker 2: and she's telling them how bad it is at home.
- 4:12Speaker 2: He tells her he wants her to join him in
- 4:17Speaker 2: the States after high school graduation, and in the background
- 4:21Speaker 2: we see a police car zoom by, sirens blaring Cat
- 4:26Speaker 2: and Brady. They then arrive home and they see the
- 4:29Speaker 2: police there and got things. Jacob must be found mm hmmm. However,
- 4:33Speaker 2: the police woman tells Cat that there was a truck
- 4:36Speaker 2: that ran off the road and the driver didn't survive.
- 4:39Speaker 2: We see Dell in the background crying and Cat realizes
- 4:43Speaker 2: it was Colton.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Is it so weird that the police officer gives that
- 4:47Speaker 1: information to Cat?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yes, a child, Yes, totally here She's like, oh, by
- 4:54Speaker 2: the way, there was a truck that ran off their
- 4:56Speaker 2: own and I was like, is she gonna say like
- 4:58Speaker 2: it's your dad or did they know this woman personally?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yes, Yeah, it was weird. In present day, Cat comes
- 5:06Speaker 1: downstairs and tells Alice she's gonna take a week and away.
- 5:09Speaker 1: She's going to a spa and Alice has given her
- 5:11Speaker 1: a look and Cat assumes that Alice thinks she's selfish,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but Alice is honestly just glad. Cat's gonna GTFO because
- 5:18Speaker 1: Cat and Dell things are tense in the house and
- 5:21Speaker 1: everybody needs a break. In comes Dell, and Dell catherines
- 5:25Speaker 1: her yes, and every time she catherines her, I hacklos
- 5:28Speaker 1: go up. But she sends her off on her me time,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and I can't help but think that that me time
- 5:33Speaker 1: is a bit of a dig, like you know, new
- 5:37Speaker 1: kids and your self care.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Okay, but let me ask you here because I was
- 5:40Speaker 2: trying to remember what happened at the end of last
- 5:42Speaker 2: week's episode that Dell and Cat are grouchy at each other.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Because well, is it just the Cat pushing that Colton
- 5:53Speaker 2: wasn't with another woman? That yes, and Dell was like,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you're wrong, there's more to it. And I want to
- 6:02Speaker 2: say that in the opening scene when I see Delle crying,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I thought I felt bad for Dell.
- 6:07Speaker 1: In this moment. We get more information at the end
- 6:10Speaker 1: of this episode, but I thought it must be easier
- 6:12Speaker 1: for her to stay mad at Colton than to think
- 6:15Speaker 1: about him dying while you were still fighting, while you
- 6:17Speaker 1: had unresolved issues. And so I think me projecting, perhaps
- 6:21Speaker 1: Dell is like, don't take away my righteous anger, like
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have lived all of this time. It is easier
- 6:27Speaker 1: to be angry than to be sad.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm telling you, I feel like she projects
- 6:34Speaker 2: that Onto like her relationship with Kat a lot, And
- 6:37Speaker 2: now I could see how young Cat would think that
- 6:41Speaker 2: her mom was like blamed her for Jacob's disappearance. I
- 6:46Speaker 2: don't know. Their relationship is so cantankerous.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Delle says, you know this will be a good break,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and Kat says, yeah, it'll give us some clarity. And
- 6:54Speaker 1: they're just like picking at each other. And Kat knocks
- 6:57Speaker 1: on Elliot's store, so she's not going to a spot
- 7:00Speaker 1: and his little well high is the cutest thing I've
- 7:02Speaker 1: ever heard. The kiss. She invites herself to stay for
- 7:05Speaker 1: the weekend, and I wondered, did she drive here? Did
- 7:07Speaker 1: she walk here? Are they not like gonna see her car?
- 7:11Speaker 1: And Ellie says, oh, we're doing this and Kat says
- 7:14Speaker 1: yes with a little time travel, and poor Elliott.
- 7:17Speaker 2: She's like, oh great, He's like I thought we were
- 7:20Speaker 2: going to stay in bed all weekend long. No, She's like, oh,
- 7:24Speaker 2: I actually want to run off to yesteryear. Yeah. We
- 7:28Speaker 2: get the opening title and then followed, Kat and Elliott
- 7:30Speaker 2: are looking through the dossier. She asks about the crying
- 7:34Speaker 2: woman at the funeral, which dell has told her time
- 7:37Speaker 2: and time again, and Elliott doesn't recall.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Kat says she's got to go back and she's
- 7:43Speaker 1: going to keep going back until she figures it out.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So back in the year two thousand, Cats once again
- 7:47Speaker 1: spying on the family. She is in her invisibility cloak,
- 7:50Speaker 1: no one can see her. Delan Kat are loading up
- 7:53Speaker 1: the truck to go to the train station, and Colton
- 7:55Speaker 1: is saying how much he misses his daughter, and Dellan
- 7:57Speaker 1: fites him to ride in the truck. But he says
- 7:59Speaker 1: he has two much to do, and he kind of calls,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I miss you, but they don't. They don't hear that
- 8:05Speaker 1: they have closed the truck doors. And my heartbreaks a
- 8:09Speaker 1: little bit for Colton at this moment. But he as
- 8:11Speaker 1: soon as they're gone, runs to grab his keys and
- 8:14Speaker 1: in hops Cat into the bed of the truck so
- 8:17Speaker 1: she can follow him. This is really unsafe. Cat, don't
- 8:19Speaker 1: ride in the bed of a truck. Yeah, aren't you
- 8:22Speaker 1: worried about dying in the wrong timeline?
- 8:25Speaker 2: I Well, she knows that her father dies in a car.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I know. But whatever, these are again, these are these
- 8:34Speaker 2: things that you just have to like, I'm just gonna
- 8:36Speaker 2: put that aside. I'm just gonna continue to enjoy the
- 8:39Speaker 2: show without those details. Back in present day, Elliott is
- 8:42Speaker 2: at the point and he's recalling a memory of him
- 8:45Speaker 2: and Cat also at the point, as teenagers, and they're
- 8:48Speaker 2: talking about Colton's accident and what everybody is saying about it.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Are they eluding here that it was a self inflicted Yes, accident,
- 8:58Speaker 2: that's what people are saying.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:00Speaker 2: She tells him that she's going to be leaving and
- 9:03Speaker 2: going to the University of Minnesota. And she's just got
- 9:06Speaker 2: to get away from point point Haven, Point Haven, Point Haven?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Did you look at my sweatshirt to remember what this tunelled?
- 9:15Speaker 2: Port Haven? Like, I'm taking notes as I'm watching this show.
- 9:19Speaker 2: She has to get away from Port Haven and all
- 9:21Speaker 2: of the questions about Colton's death.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I just want to say that this Elliott storyline that
- 9:26Speaker 1: develops throughout the show is so well done. I mean
- 9:29Speaker 1: it is like masterful the way they edit in his
- 9:32Speaker 1: flashbacks and the work he's doing. A lot of the show,
- 9:34Speaker 1: we get through exposition, like, there's so much dialogue and
- 9:38Speaker 1: there's no talking about this until the very end. It's good.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Alie interrupts his memory by plopping down at the table,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and I'm kind of like, as Elliott her teacher, I'm like,
- 9:47Speaker 1: maybe you shouldn't sit here at this table with me.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's weird, like with your teacher. Yeah. She talks about
- 9:52Speaker 1: some lab report that they've been doing and mentions that
- 9:55Speaker 1: Dell's her guardian for the weekend, and Ellie's like, oh,
- 9:58Speaker 1: where's your mom? Alice says, you know, it's fine, they
- 10:01Speaker 1: need a little less drama. But they have a conversation
- 10:05Speaker 1: about how she's hesitant to go back because it's gonna
- 10:07Speaker 1: be rough in the past. And they go back and
- 10:10Speaker 1: forth a little bit because Alice says she just wants
- 10:12Speaker 1: to remember the good and Elliott says that perhaps that's wise,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but maybe you need a proper goodbye, and he doesn't
- 10:19Speaker 1: tell her what to do, but he says he doesn't
- 10:21Speaker 1: want you to regret any of your choices.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Which is so weird because this is fully in contrast
- 10:27Speaker 2: to what he's telling Cat. He's telling Kat don't go back, but.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Their motivation is different. Like Cat wants to go back
- 10:35Speaker 1: to change the past. He's suggesting maybe Alice needs some
- 10:39Speaker 1: closure because he knows. At some point, Alice stops time
- 10:42Speaker 1: traveling Fair Point. Okay, Spencer and Chloe walk in to
- 10:45Speaker 1: the Point. Spencer and Chloe don't walk in.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Zoe, Who the hell is Chloe?
- 10:51Speaker 1: She lives in Point Haven?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Oh my goodness.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Okay, Spencer and Zoe lost funny, I don't know.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I slow not firing on, so wonderus this morning. Okay,
- 11:07Speaker 2: Spencer and Zoe walk in. They share good news that
- 11:10Speaker 2: the new owner of the Roxy has hired Spencer to
- 11:14Speaker 2: cater the opening, and then the two walk off to
- 11:16Speaker 2: go plan and leave Alice sitting there, and I think
- 11:19Speaker 2: Alice is feeling a little bit of fomo.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know, and not being.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Really in the friendship circle.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Can I talk to you about this scene really quickly?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yes.
- 11:32Speaker 1: So we've talked a lot about Like the very beginning,
- 11:35Speaker 1: they presented it like Spencer and Zoe were together. Then
- 11:37Speaker 1: there was this like weird in between Zoe wasn't there?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Are they together? I feel like maybe the writers forgot
- 11:43Speaker 1: they were together for several episodes and now they're going
- 11:46Speaker 1: hard on that this is my girlfriend because she likes
- 11:48Speaker 1: she's like babe, tell them about the gig. They lean
- 11:50Speaker 1: real hard into their couple dumb anyway. Can I also
- 11:54Speaker 1: interject here about the new owners of the Roxy? Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: a few days ago, I had this like, great theory.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I was like, it's Jacob.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Jacob fell into the pond. He's in the future. He's
- 12:06Speaker 2: gonna be the new owner of the Roxy. But Jacob
- 12:08Speaker 2: would be a child in the future, Like how.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Does he get id?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Like he's from I know, so it's not him.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And your response was like oooh, I didn't like all
- 12:18Speaker 1: theories are valid. I didn't want to, you know, crap
- 12:20Speaker 1: on your theory.
- 12:21Speaker 2: But he would be a child, he would be present day, right, Okay,
- 12:24Speaker 2: so I don't know how okay, all right, all right.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Back in the year two thousand, Colton's truck pulls up
- 12:29Speaker 1: in front of a house. Cat pops out of the
- 12:31Speaker 1: bed of the truck, and a woman guides Colton into
- 12:34Speaker 1: the house, and Cat makes the wild decision to approach
- 12:38Speaker 1: the front door of the just.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Poking around, just to see what's going on in Hamm'll
- 12:42Speaker 2: look through the window because nobody can see me.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Cole And opens the door and says, Oh, are you
- 12:47Speaker 1: joining us? And we cut to commercial.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yes, we come back, and Cat and joins him in
- 12:51Speaker 2: the house and Colton says, haven't we met? You're the
- 12:54Speaker 2: lady that was in my yard?
- 12:56Speaker 1: You know. When he said haven't we met? I thought, Oh,
- 12:58Speaker 1: does he recognize his daughter?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yes? Yeah, And we find out it's a grief support
- 13:03Speaker 2: group and Kat is asked to introduce herself, so she does,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and she says her name is Rose.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Did you think there's a significance there or does she.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Just I've wondered. I wondered, but I don't think so.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but couldn't probably?
- 13:17Speaker 2: I mean, is there a character named Rose and Alice
- 13:19Speaker 2: in Wonderland. No, there's not okay, my name is the
- 13:23Speaker 2: Cheshire cap Well.
- 13:25Speaker 1: When she said Rose, I was like, is she gonna
- 13:27Speaker 1: be like my boyfriend Jack Drown. I really thought for
- 13:30Speaker 1: a moment, Oh my god, that would be so funny.
- 13:34Speaker 2: When did that movie come out ninety nine? I think yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Anyway, in the present day, Dyla and Alice are walking
- 13:42Speaker 1: and Dale apologizes for taking Alice away from her friends,
- 13:45Speaker 1: but Alice is real wise here. She says, those aren't
- 13:48Speaker 1: my friends, not because I don't want them to be,
- 13:50Speaker 1: because I haven't given them a chance, And she, you know,
- 13:53Speaker 1: alludes to the fact that she hasn't really been mentally
- 13:57Speaker 1: present here in Poor Tavin, but she hasn't really been
- 13:59Speaker 1: visibly present here, and they suggest that maybe they're both
- 14:02Speaker 1: stuck in the past.
- 14:03Speaker 2: You know. Dell drops that quite a bit in this episode,
- 14:06Speaker 2: like it's time for us to move on. We've been
- 14:09Speaker 2: stuck in the past, right, But then also like Delle
- 14:15Speaker 2: doesn't push harder on, like, well, what that you've been
- 14:18Speaker 2: hanging out with these people, Like what's where have you been?
- 14:21Speaker 2: What are you doing? Why are you hanging on to
- 14:24Speaker 2: the past. What's happening there's no questions.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Maybe Delle just assumes she's like more focused on life
- 14:30Speaker 1: back home, like she committed to Porthaven. They haven't been
- 14:34Speaker 1: there all that long, I know, given in.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Five days at this point, we don't know, no, I
- 14:38Speaker 2: guess it's been a couple of seasons.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Has it a few months?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Whatever, it's not quite winter yet because the pond isn't
- 14:45Speaker 1: frozen over.
- 14:46Speaker 2: That's right. Back in two thousand, we're at the grief group,
- 14:50Speaker 2: that's what I call it, the grief group, and Colton
- 14:52Speaker 2: sharing that the investigation has been called off for the
- 14:55Speaker 2: you know, looking for Jacob, and the PI he hired
- 14:58Speaker 2: quit and he shares that everyone s giving up and
- 15:00Speaker 2: he doesn't know if he can quit looking for him.
- 15:03Speaker 2: And he talks about how Dell is his rock and
- 15:06Speaker 2: he's lost and he doesn't know how to be a
- 15:08Speaker 2: husband or a dad anymore.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And I just was like, wah, yeah, Colton really tugged
- 15:14Speaker 1: at my heart strength.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Really and it breaks me to know that he cannot
- 15:19Speaker 2: have this conversation with his wife, like wow. Wow.
- 15:24Speaker 1: In present day, Delle takes Cat to the pond and
- 15:28Speaker 1: she's like, I know, it's nothing, just a sinkhole, but
- 15:31Speaker 1: she says the pond is always the first to give
- 15:33Speaker 1: her clues when seasons change, and Alice is silently panicking
- 15:37Speaker 1: behind her and says, does the pond freeze over completely?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Because the pond is her window to the past. And again,
- 15:44Speaker 1: what does Dell know, if anything? Or is this just
- 15:47Speaker 1: a happy coincidence that this was Dell's message to her.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Let's talk about change and time marching forward. He even says,
- 15:55Speaker 1: like the pond is its own little world. Yeah, I mean,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I've like Dell has to know more, But again, who knows?
- 16:04Speaker 2: At this point?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Who freaking knows?
- 16:06Speaker 2: We're again at the support group and Kat and Colton
- 16:11Speaker 2: and the leader of the group are talking and we
- 16:14Speaker 2: see the leader of the group give Kat like a
- 16:17Speaker 2: business card, which we'll come into play a little bit
- 16:21Speaker 2: later on. Colton offers to take her back to Port
- 16:25Speaker 2: Haven and Kat can't help. Oh, so they're in the
- 16:29Speaker 2: truck driving back, and Cat can't help notice all of
- 16:31Speaker 2: Colton's details, his face, his hands, his sunglasses. That must
- 16:34Speaker 2: be wild to be sitting there with your dad who died.
- 16:39Speaker 2: I mean, I'm surprised she wasn't like sniffing the air,
- 16:47Speaker 2: you guys if you listen to this episode or you
- 16:49Speaker 2: know regularly, you know her penchant for sniffing things. He
- 16:55Speaker 2: asks then where he can like drop her off specifically,
- 16:58Speaker 2: and like she's just being vague, and she says, like, Oh,
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'm just trying to keep like this support group of secrets,
- 17:03Speaker 2: so you can just drop me here on the side
- 17:05Speaker 2: of the road, you know, And he does, and then
- 17:08Speaker 2: of course, like he lets her out where he is
- 17:11Speaker 2: inevitably going to crash and die.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yeah. In present day, Kat is telling Elliott what happened,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and levelheaded Elliott can't believe that she just sat in
- 17:20Speaker 1: on their therapy group just right in front of Colton.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Kat insists he didn't recognize her and that it was
- 17:25Speaker 1: helpful to hear how he really felt, and Elliott tells
- 17:30Speaker 1: her this is a dangerous game, but Kat cannot let go.
- 17:34Speaker 1: She needs more answers. She doesn't believe that Colton's accident
- 17:38Speaker 1: was intentional, and Elliott tells her Alice is ready to
- 17:41Speaker 1: say goodbye to the past, to remember the good and
- 17:43Speaker 1: not the bad, and doesn't say maybe you should too.
- 17:46Speaker 2: You know, I feel very like I would be Kat
- 17:49Speaker 2: in this situation, Like I would need to know everything
- 17:52Speaker 2: mm hmm.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You know, it's like if you have a portal to
- 17:56Speaker 1: your past and you know that your parent is about
- 17:59Speaker 1: to die, of course you're gonna do everything you can.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I fully understand her motivation.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah I would, Yeah, absolutely, But.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I also fully understand Elliott's frustration.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Sure, but what the hell does Elliott know for sure
- 18:13Speaker 2: about time travel and changing the future. He keeps saying,
- 18:17Speaker 2: like what has happened in the past is going to happen, Like,
- 18:20Speaker 2: how does he know that for sure? Yeah, spoiler alert,
- 18:23Speaker 2: He's right, I know, but I would need to know.
- 18:28Speaker 1: For certain to Yeah, I don't. I think I would too.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Back in two thousand, Alice shows up at the Landry
- 18:33Speaker 2: House wet Dellan. Colton asks why she doesn't have a coach.
- 18:36Speaker 2: You know, it's cold. We are in wintertime there. They
- 18:40Speaker 2: tell her Cat isn't there, but they invite her to
- 18:42Speaker 2: go up to her bedroom to get a towel from
- 18:44Speaker 2: Cat's room. So Alice goes up to Cat's room. She's
- 18:47Speaker 2: like poking around. She looks through the Alice in Wonderland book,
- 18:51Speaker 2: underlining a passage we've seen before. She comes downstairs and
- 18:56Speaker 2: talks with Colton. She asks if they can play the
- 18:59Speaker 2: song that Colton taught her, and he tells her that
- 19:02Speaker 2: he hasn't played in a while, but says yes.
- 19:05Speaker 1: They sing together and it's lovely and touching. In another
- 19:08Speaker 1: bit of a gut punch in this episode, because this
- 19:11Speaker 1: song he wrote for Dell, and Delle comes downstairs to
- 19:14Speaker 1: see them singing and they have a sweet moment of
- 19:17Speaker 1: ye contact and he says those words were written at a
- 19:20Speaker 1: better time, but they still hold the truth. And then
- 19:23Speaker 1: Colton tells Alice that she's talented and to keep it up,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and this is her grandfather she never got to meet.
- 19:29Speaker 1: And Alice cries and says goodbye to Colton and that
- 19:33Speaker 1: was a rough scene, right, very yeah, and runs off weeping.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Goodbye Colton, Peace Dell. And present day Dell is doing
- 19:47Speaker 2: farm stuff. I'm not even quite sure what she's doing.
- 19:49Speaker 2: She's like doing something like preparing for winter. I don't
- 19:52Speaker 2: know what Alice. Alice arrives from the year two thousand
- 19:57Speaker 2: and she's wet and sobbing, and Dell's reaction like she's like,
- 20:01Speaker 2: what's wrong, and Alice collapses under her arms and telling
- 20:05Speaker 2: her that she's still glad that she's here.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, Dell as a grandmother. It redeems her
- 20:15Speaker 1: in my eyes, I agree, But then I was like,
- 20:20Speaker 1: it's so crazy to me that, like I'm not saying
- 20:22Speaker 1: that Dell's not a good mother to Cat, but their
- 20:26Speaker 1: relationship is so gimme a word contentious that like she
- 20:31Speaker 1: is such a one eighty to Alice. Yeah, you know,
- 20:35Speaker 1: like there's so much baggage with Dell that, I mean,
- 20:38Speaker 1: with Dell and Cat, and Delle just can't like let
- 20:41Speaker 1: that go. Well neither can Cat, to be quite honest.
- 20:43Speaker 1: In the present day, Elliot's picking up dinner for two
- 20:45Speaker 1: to go and Monica says it's about time, and while
- 20:48Speaker 1: he's waiting, he has another memory of their graduation day.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It's Nick, Monica and Cat and Elliott are toasting at
- 20:55Speaker 1: the Point and Nick and Kat both wish Alice was there,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and Cat can't believe she's just disappeared and she hasn't
- 21:01Speaker 1: come back, and we learned that Kat is leaving this weekend.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Dell isn't speaking to her, and she says, I need
- 21:08Speaker 1: you to be there to Elliott when I leave, And
- 21:13Speaker 1: Elliott like has a moment and he takes off out
- 21:15Speaker 1: of the Point to the Herald, where poor Byron says,
- 21:18Speaker 1: you can look around, but be quick because I'm off
- 21:21Speaker 1: to Marrakesh because no one's gonna miss me here.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Such a weird Why do you think they're doing this?
- 21:28Speaker 1: What we find out at the end of the episode.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I wonder if we're not done with Byron, perhaps what
- 21:33Speaker 1: do we find out at the end of the episode?
- 21:35Speaker 1: We'll tall, okay, bring it back, okay.
- 21:38Speaker 2: But I see some theories that people think Jacob is Byron,
- 21:41Speaker 2: but like that doesn't work out.
- 21:43Speaker 1: No no, no, no no no no no no no no
- 21:45Speaker 1: no no.
- 21:45Speaker 2: But it seems to me like you have Byron who's
- 21:48Speaker 2: been in like almost every episode from the beginning.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I do not believe we're done with him.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Oh I hope not. I was like, are they just
- 21:55Speaker 2: writing this dude out of the show now? Like I can't.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I can't because I was like, is kat gonna take
- 22:00Speaker 2: over the Harold?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Oh hey, that's not it. That's an interesting idea. I
- 22:06Speaker 1: refuse to believe two things, one that Jacob has gone
- 22:09Speaker 1: and two that Byron is leaving the show. But I
- 22:13Speaker 1: do think it would be a little bit of a
- 22:15Speaker 1: disservice to be like, I'm just gonna sit here and
- 22:17Speaker 1: run this newspaper even though nobody wants me here, right.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I think I like that. He's like, I'm gonna do
- 22:22Speaker 1: something with my life. You should too, okay, which is
- 22:25Speaker 1: the unspoken part. Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And the next scene, we see Alice and Dell and
- 22:28Speaker 2: they're talking and Alice explains why she understands how Dell
- 22:31Speaker 2: has shoved everything, like literally to the basement, you know,
- 22:37Speaker 2: because things are just too hard to live with, And
- 22:40Speaker 2: Delle tells her it's best we start living today, and
- 22:42Speaker 2: she thinks Alice for being a wonderful person like tells
- 22:47Speaker 2: her she loves her, and Alice says the same, and
- 22:50Speaker 2: then calls Dell grandma, and Delle loves it and she's
- 22:53Speaker 2: waited so long to hear that.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's sweet. Elliot arrives back home, and we don't
- 23:00Speaker 1: know at this point what he was looking for at
- 23:03Speaker 1: the Herald. He's got some things with him, but Kat
- 23:05Speaker 1: is despondent because the Pond would not let her go back.
- 23:09Speaker 1: He says that's happened before to Alice, and they talk
- 23:11Speaker 1: about He says, I promise we'll find answers some other way,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and Kat, still suck in the past, says, you know,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I took your hand the night my dad died. You
- 23:22Speaker 1: and Brady were both there, and I took your hand
- 23:25Speaker 1: because you were the one I needed. And she's kind
- 23:27Speaker 1: of kicking herself or maybe not seeing Elliott then the
- 23:29Speaker 1: way she sees him now.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And two thousand, Kat is at the Landry farm again
- 23:34Speaker 2: and she sees Colton. Are we is this adult cat?
- 23:39Speaker 2: She sees Colton and he says, oh, I thought I
- 23:41Speaker 2: wouldn't see you again, And she tells him that she
- 23:46Speaker 2: should share his group grief sessions with the family, and
- 23:50Speaker 2: they get in the car are They get in the
- 23:52Speaker 2: truck to go to their session that night.
- 23:55Speaker 1: At therapy, Colton tell the story about a dream he
- 23:58Speaker 1: has about Jacob that's kind of rough to hear, and
- 24:02Speaker 1: basically that he's like trying to get to him, but
- 24:04Speaker 1: he's drowning in the dream and he wishes he could
- 24:06Speaker 1: be waking up with his wife. He's still sleeping in
- 24:09Speaker 1: the basement, and we get more inside. He talks about
- 24:13Speaker 1: how he knows his daughter feels abandoned and blamed, but
- 24:16Speaker 1: she's everything he wishes he could be, and he tells
- 24:19Speaker 1: the group he's going to tell Dell and Cat about
- 24:21Speaker 1: the group and He says, maybe that's the way back
- 24:24Speaker 1: home and then says he would tell Jacob everything if
- 24:27Speaker 1: he had five four minutes with him. So, as a
- 24:31Speaker 1: daughter sitting there, wouldn't you just be a mess hearing
- 24:37Speaker 1: like your dad say that stuff about you?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, she has a couple of little tears, but no,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I would be like on the floor, feel positional puddle.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent. Colton and Cat are driving back
- 24:52Speaker 2: in a truck and she tells him that you know
- 24:54Speaker 2: a story that she lost her dad in an accident
- 24:56Speaker 2: and doesn't know exactly what happened and how the death
- 24:59Speaker 2: had ruin their family. And they talk about how grief
- 25:04Speaker 2: will make them stronger, and he tells her the future
- 25:08Speaker 2: is stronger than their past. It's their legacy.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and Kat says that her grief led her to
- 25:14Speaker 1: her greatest gift, Alice. This scene was very distracting to
- 25:17Speaker 1: me because I really just wanted them to stop making
- 25:19Speaker 1: eye contact while they were triving.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I was like, this is it, this
- 25:23Speaker 2: is when it's gonna happen. He just kept turning and
- 25:25Speaker 2: looking at her and his eyes were not on the road.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Oh look forward. After the commercial, Alice sees her mom
- 25:34Speaker 1: running back from the pond. It was a little unclear,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and she's kind of shaking her head, and she's annoyed
- 25:41Speaker 1: that either her mom is going back to the past
- 25:42Speaker 1: and be that her mom is not at us boss right,
- 25:44Speaker 1: he's still in down and at Elliott's. Cat is thrilled
- 25:48Speaker 1: to have had that moment with Colton. Her emotion is
- 25:52Speaker 1: purely driven by what's happening in the past and nothing
- 25:54Speaker 1: by what's happening in the present. She looks that the
- 25:58Speaker 1: card that the support group lady shared with her the
- 26:00Speaker 1: first time she was there, and she realizes that the
- 26:02Speaker 1: support group meets twice a week and that is where
- 26:04Speaker 1: Colton was driving home from the night he died. And
- 26:07Speaker 1: she's convinced that the pond will send her back so
- 26:10Speaker 1: she can fix this, and Elliott reminds her once again
- 26:12Speaker 1: that what has happened has always happened. And here again
- 26:17Speaker 1: I refuse to believe that Jacob has gone. But I
- 26:19Speaker 1: also don't think And at no point in this show
- 26:23Speaker 1: have I felt like we are changing Colton's death.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I don't think so either.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Like I believe we could find Jacob, I don't believe
- 26:31Speaker 1: we're getting Colton back. Okay, So Elliott points out she
- 26:34Speaker 1: could you couldn't change what happened with Jacob, and he
- 26:36Speaker 1: gets pissed because they're stuck in the past. And he says,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I need you here with me, and I need to
- 26:42Speaker 1: be more to you than what I was then, because
- 26:45Speaker 1: kat is really remembering like you were there for me then,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and he's like, I need you here now what I am?
- 26:53Speaker 2: I'm now?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Elliott, Yeah, that's gonna be roughs, but also like, can
- 27:01Speaker 1: he be a little understanding? He dies, I mean, it's
- 27:03Speaker 1: only a couple of days away, like just but I
- 27:05Speaker 1: also think he's scared. Everything that has happened will happen,
- 27:09Speaker 1: but something worse could happen, like you, I don't know.
- 27:12Speaker 1: See how does that work out? Right?
- 27:14Speaker 2: If she gets killed in her accident, would she be
- 27:17Speaker 2: killed in the past.
- 27:18Speaker 1: That's a good question.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah, well so of those weird questions. At the end
- 27:23Speaker 2: of that, saet Alice comes knocking on Elliott's door and
- 27:25Speaker 2: tells her mom it's time to come home.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I said, in comes Alice like a wrecking ball,
- 27:30Speaker 1: And what breaks my heart is She's like, be here
- 27:32Speaker 1: with me now, I promise this is more important oh.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah, crazy. So and next time we have Kat and
- 27:41Speaker 2: Dell and they're talking. They're back at the house and
- 27:44Speaker 2: she's showing Dell the card and Kat explains that she
- 27:48Speaker 2: found the card downstairs, you know, magically, and confirmed that
- 27:53Speaker 2: Colton was in therapy before he died. And Delle really
- 27:57Speaker 2: doesn't want Kat pursuing the past again. She says she's
- 28:01Speaker 2: ready to stop living in the past herself and she
- 28:04Speaker 2: needs to heal and like, just stop Kat. Kat heads
- 28:09Speaker 2: off to bed and leaves Dell listening to music, and
- 28:13Speaker 2: Dell has what I think is a fantasy.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a conflation of present day Dell experiencing
- 28:23Speaker 1: a past memory.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Right, it's well done. It's really well done.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And uh.
- 28:30Speaker 2: She and Colton are dancing to the music and he
- 28:33Speaker 2: tells her that, you know, she's his home, and they
- 28:36Speaker 2: kiss and they like reconnect and but he's got a
- 28:41Speaker 2: bounce and he's like, I'll tell you everything that's going
- 28:44Speaker 2: on tomorrow, and I'm like, where is he going? Is
- 28:48Speaker 2: that just the end of this like memory? She's happy,
- 28:51Speaker 2: you know.
- 28:52Speaker 1: He's going to the support group because he says for
- 28:55Speaker 1: Thursday night, moon tonight.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So he's going to he's gonna tell her, and then
- 29:00Speaker 1: he dies.
- 29:00Speaker 2: What the hell is a snow moon?
- 29:02Speaker 1: I don't know. It's a big pretty moon. But Dell
- 29:05Speaker 1: in this scene says, I've been frozen in time. Do
- 29:08Speaker 1: the writers of the show listen to this podcast? Because
- 29:10Speaker 1: we have said did time stop for this? She has
- 29:16Speaker 1: been frozen in time?
- 29:17Speaker 2: She has been frozen in time. But I doubt they
- 29:18Speaker 2: listened to this podcast. I know about writing this week
- 29:22Speaker 2: to week.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I know. Just let me have my moment. I just
- 29:25Speaker 1: thought I I am picking up what you're putting down
- 29:28Speaker 1: here upstairs. Kat says good night to Alice, and Alice
- 29:30Speaker 1: asked her to sleep in her room. She says she
- 29:32Speaker 1: misses her, and Kat thinks she's talking about hanging out
- 29:35Speaker 1: with her teenage bff, but she's like, no, I miss
- 29:38Speaker 1: my mom. Alice has a new comforter on her bed
- 29:42Speaker 1: because it's winter, and Kat says, oh, it's the landry
- 29:44Speaker 1: eider down and eider down. I looked it up because
- 29:47Speaker 1: I didn't know what that word meant. And it's like
- 29:49Speaker 1: a it's feathers that are naturally dropped and picked up,
- 29:54Speaker 1: so they're not like forcibly removed. Okay, and apparently they're
- 29:58Speaker 1: like a softer, nicer type down feather. Anyway, it's a
- 30:02Speaker 1: down comforter. She's got on her bed. Okay, Alice shows
- 30:05Speaker 1: her the line in the Alice in Wonderland that she
- 30:07Speaker 1: had underlined as a goodbye message to Kat.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is weird too, because Kat goes, yeah,
- 30:13Speaker 2: I should have realized that, but what like a what
- 30:20Speaker 2: this is why I'm confused.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I should have realized that was well, not that you
- 30:24Speaker 1: were a time traveler, but that it was a message
- 30:27Speaker 1: from I don't know. I don't know. But and Alice
- 30:31Speaker 1: wishes she could go back to the start. She kind
- 30:33Speaker 1: of wants to relive all of this, knowing what. She
- 30:36Speaker 1: doesn't say this, but I assume what she knows. Now
- 30:39Speaker 1: me cut to the morning, and I yell at my TV.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Because Cat's sneaking out because she's gonna run off to
- 30:45Speaker 2: the pond again.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yes, we see her leaving asleeping Alice, and I yelled, no,
- 30:50Speaker 1: don't do it. No, My no was less about what
- 30:54Speaker 1: is coming than about you just had this moment. She
- 30:57Speaker 1: just told you she needs you, and you're leaving again.
- 31:00Speaker 1: And on the one hand, I do get it, But.
- 31:01Speaker 2: On the other hand, Cat has an itch that needs
- 31:04Speaker 2: to be scratched.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Indeed, I want to go.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Back to the comment that Alice wished she could just
- 31:10Speaker 2: jump back in upon it and go back to the start.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Would that be interesting in season two that they starts
- 31:15Speaker 2: all over again.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I thought that actually, because I feel like in our
- 31:21Speaker 1: last episode you made a comment like, are we just
- 31:23Speaker 1: going to keep looping back through this?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Did I? But it's a good question.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I think you did, or I imagined it, and I had
- 31:32Speaker 1: the same thought, is are we going to be.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Are we going to get a redo?
- 31:37Speaker 1: I don't know, But then I don't know.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I don't know either.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Before we cut to the commercial, Cat emerges in the
- 31:44Speaker 1: pond to see the snow moon and she says no, no.
- 31:46Speaker 2: No, and then she realizes that's the night the night
- 31:48Speaker 2: commercial break. Yeah, commercial break. Now. I thought they did
- 31:53Speaker 2: this last series of scenes really well, really really well. Wait.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I want to shout out the director.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Because while you look that up, I just want to
- 32:06Speaker 1: say it was very reminiscent of the scenes when Jacob
- 32:10Speaker 1: is getting lost and there's just cut cut multiple perspectives
- 32:13Speaker 1: as people are discovering things.
- 32:18Speaker 2: The director is Grant Harvey. I don't recognize any of
- 32:21Speaker 2: his other work other than Heartland, a show I didn't watch,
- 32:27Speaker 2: but I mean, I thought this scene was so good.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So we start out Afred's commercial. We're back in two thousand.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Kat is running through the woods to the area where
- 32:39Speaker 2: Colton will have his accident. And then we're back in
- 32:44Speaker 2: present day and Elliott is reading the archive papers that
- 32:48Speaker 2: he got from Byron at the Herald, and it's a
- 32:50Speaker 2: story about Colton's death. And he reads aloud. Witness claims
- 32:54Speaker 2: to have seen two women running through the woods, and
- 32:57Speaker 2: his eyes get huge to women.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I want to I want to stop you because in
- 33:02Speaker 1: the scene where Cat's running through the woods, yeah, write
- 33:05Speaker 1: in all caps. Come on, Cat, everything that has happened
- 33:08Speaker 1: will always happen. Doesn't it occur to you that you
- 33:10Speaker 1: are going to cause this accident? As you stand where
- 33:13Speaker 1: the accident happens. I mean, what is she thinking she's
- 33:15Speaker 1: gonna do? Jump out in front of.
- 33:17Speaker 2: The car, drop the car.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's dark. I just I know that it has to happen,
- 33:22Speaker 1: But I was what do you.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Think her plan was here? That's what I don't understand.
- 33:27Speaker 2: And how does how does this is a.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Smart woman, she's a journalist, she investigates things like why
- 33:33Speaker 1: is her brain not making the lead too? It's me,
- 33:37Speaker 1: I know, but.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I know weed it. Oh my gosh. So the next
- 33:43Speaker 2: immediate scene, we're back in two thousand and Alice emerges
- 33:46Speaker 2: from the woods and like is begging Cat to leave,
- 33:50Speaker 2: like let's go, let's go, and they're kind of like
- 33:53Speaker 2: they're not tussling, but she's like trying to like pull her,
- 33:57Speaker 2: like we need to lead, and Alice like kind of
- 34:00Speaker 2: stumbles in the middle of the road and we see
- 34:03Speaker 2: the truck coming and Cat pushes her out of the way,
- 34:07Speaker 2: causing Colton's truck to crash. Here is where the magic is.
- 34:14Speaker 2: The truck crashes, It's like is it silent, Like, oh,
- 34:18Speaker 2: it has screen? The action is silent and it's a
- 34:21Speaker 2: scream and you brava to the acting here Like I
- 34:26Speaker 2: have chills talking about it now. But it's like here
- 34:29Speaker 2: is where she realizes that she caused the accident.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yes, oh my god, I still have chills, as do
- 34:37Speaker 1: I and again, but there's no sense of self preservation,
- 34:41Speaker 1: like the lights are coming down the road and we're
- 34:43Speaker 1: standing get out of this right right, And this final moment,
- 34:49Speaker 1: Cat pulls Colton from the car and she's like, it's
- 34:51Speaker 1: gonna be okay, You're gonna be okay. And he looks
- 34:54Speaker 1: at her and he says, hey, kiddo, and then he says,
- 34:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna cry, my Catherine, and she calls him daddy
- 35:02Speaker 1: and I don't you don't know. Did he know all
- 35:06Speaker 1: along that this is his daughter? Is this a deathbed
- 35:09Speaker 1: realization that he sees her? I don't know, but it's lovely.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I mean, she gets to say goodbye to him.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 35:18Speaker 1: And then Kat kind of breaks down, She becomes almost catatonic,
- 35:25Speaker 1: and Alice is like, we have to go. We can't
- 35:27Speaker 1: be found here. And Alice has to be the fifteen
- 35:30Speaker 1: year old voice of reason and drags her mother off
- 35:34Speaker 1: into the woods.
- 35:37Speaker 2: End of the episode, I'm like, how what this is?
- 35:42Speaker 2: Where I was like, I don't want this show to end.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Next week?
- 35:46Speaker 1: I agree, I'm not ready.
- 35:48Speaker 2: They're gonna leave us with a huge cliffhanger. They next
- 35:51Speaker 2: week they have to We see.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Kat saying I know where Jacob is.
- 35:55Speaker 2: In the preview, I couldn't remember what the previews what
- 35:58Speaker 2: they showed.
- 35:59Speaker 1: There was a there was that was the only part
- 36:02Speaker 1: that I was with.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Kat has a realization she knows where Jacob is.
- 36:04Speaker 1: She says that I know where Jacob is see in.
- 36:06Speaker 2: The future, the future, I don't know.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I have so many questions because remember this show opened
- 36:14Speaker 1: with a nightgowned figure running through the woods.
- 36:16Speaker 2: I've completely forgotten about that.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Who is that? Because it's clearly in the past being
- 36:21Speaker 1: chased with Yes, so are we going to somehow come
- 36:25Speaker 1: back to that? That is a good question I need
- 36:29Speaker 1: to know about that. You know, they allude to the
- 36:32Speaker 1: White Witch that there's some relation there. Where is Jacob?
- 36:36Speaker 1: Are we going to get Colton's funeral? Is it going
- 36:38Speaker 1: to be Kat crying there? I mean, it's it's less
- 36:43Speaker 1: important to the story. I'm just curious if she's able
- 36:45Speaker 1: to go back.
- 36:46Speaker 2: For that, yes, because if it is her crying at
- 36:49Speaker 2: the funeral, that means and then they went back she
- 36:51Speaker 2: went back again. I don't know how do you recover
- 36:55Speaker 2: from that saying your dad die? I don't know if
- 36:57Speaker 2: you can go back for the funeral like you said,
- 37:00Speaker 2: you're goodbye there, Oh my goodness, and then all you're right.
- 37:05Speaker 2: So many questions about what, what's this whole him talking
- 37:11Speaker 2: to her on his deathbed there? Like what?
- 37:15Speaker 1: And I don't know that we're gonna get any more
- 37:16Speaker 1: answers there.
- 37:17Speaker 2: I'm dying to know how they're gonna do season two.
- 37:20Speaker 1: There's a lot writing on the finale for me, and
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna need a little bit of a buffer between
- 37:25Speaker 1: finishing this show and starting Ride, Like I can't watch
- 37:28Speaker 1: them back to back.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you think you're gonna be like a mess
- 37:31Speaker 2: and then be like okay, now here, I gotta watch Ride.
