- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show. It's Friday.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We got through the week together, everybody. It was a
- 0:22Speaker 1: tough week, lots and lots going on. I'm sure it
- 0:24Speaker 1: was for you too. But don't worry. The next twenty
- 0:27Speaker 1: minutes I'm not going to be tough at all. They're
- 0:28Speaker 1: going to be delicious because our dear friend Corey Andrew
- 0:31Speaker 1: from Instinct magazine is back with us. Hey, Corey, are
- 0:34Speaker 1: you there? I am here, Harry. Everyone, delicious time, delicious time.
- 0:39Speaker 1: How much your vacation? We missed you last week, my friend?
- 0:42Speaker 1: Thank you? Yes, it was so wonderful. I absolutely adore
- 0:44Speaker 1: a Key West. I recommend it. It's a beautiful, beautiful place.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It's lovely. Where do you stay? There? Is there a
- 0:50Speaker 1: nice place we should go to? Well, it's so funny,
- 0:53Speaker 1: you know, Joe and I had to stay in three
- 0:54Speaker 1: different hotels over nine days because we booked so late
- 0:57Speaker 1: we couldn't find one. So I will recommend one that amazing.
- 1:00Speaker 1: My favorite is probably now the Alexander Guesthouse. It was
- 1:05Speaker 1: amazing and I even sang. They gave me the microphone
- 1:11Speaker 1: and it was amazing. But it's a beautiful guesthouse. Check
- 1:15Speaker 1: out Alexander's guesthouse and thank you, thank you, thank you. Hey,
- 1:17Speaker 1: let's jump in the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:19Speaker 1: It is daytime. Lots a lot of tea. This is
- 1:22Speaker 1: big tea at the top of the show. So Ninny
- 1:24Speaker 1: Leaks from the Real Housewives of Atlanta is now suing
- 1:28Speaker 1: Bravo and Andy Cohen, claiming they fostered a racist environment.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So she is suing multiple companies behind the show. I
- 1:37Speaker 1: think people don't realize with a TV show, a lot
- 1:41Speaker 1: a lot of different people pieces go into it. So
- 1:44Speaker 1: you have the network, you have Bravo, you have the
- 1:47Speaker 1: executive producer, that's the boss, that's Andy Cohen. Then you
- 1:51Speaker 1: have the production company. You normally hire an outside production
- 1:54Speaker 1: company to put this all together. Ninie is alleging that
- 1:58Speaker 1: all these people can aspired to foster and tolerate a
- 2:02Speaker 1: hostile and racist work in environment. The lawsuit was filed
- 2:07Speaker 1: in Atlanta, and Ninie Leaks is complaining that the executives
- 2:13Speaker 1: turned a blind eye and ear to racist remarks made
- 2:17Speaker 1: on the show. So the people she's going after the
- 2:20Speaker 1: defendants are NBC Universal, They own Bravo, Bravo, the production
- 2:25Speaker 1: company True entertainment. They're the ones that put it all together,
- 2:29Speaker 1: an executive producer Andy Cohen. The suit says the following quote, NBC,
- 2:34Speaker 1: Bravo and True fostered a corporate and workplace culture in
- 2:40Speaker 1: which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated, if not
- 2:47Speaker 1: even encouraged. That this is not the first time Ninie
- 2:51Speaker 1: has called Andy a racist. This is the second time.
- 2:54Speaker 1: This could blow up this franchise. What are you hearing,
- 2:57Speaker 1: caring well, you know, yeah, your point. Ninia has claimed
- 3:01Speaker 1: this before, but she's also claimed a whole lot of
- 3:04Speaker 1: other things about Andy too, and it makes you wonder
- 3:06Speaker 1: if she's just got some hostility. I mean, I take
- 3:09Speaker 1: allegations like this seriously. I mean, I'm an African American
- 3:11Speaker 1: man and I've been in situations like this. But um,
- 3:14Speaker 1: I don't know, because Ninia's in a way like the
- 3:16Speaker 1: little Boy that Cried Wolf too. She's always been complaining
- 3:20Speaker 1: about something, So I don't know really what to make
- 3:22Speaker 1: of it. I don't know. Yeah, I think I want
- 3:24Speaker 1: to get to the bottom of it. We've got to
- 3:25Speaker 1: take it seriously, but we've also got to point out
- 3:28Speaker 1: to Nini has said stuff in the past that didn't
- 3:31Speaker 1: exactly turn out to be correct. This is the problem
- 3:35Speaker 1: with Bravo. And I spoke to a really senior person
- 3:37Speaker 1: at Bravo last night, and they know they've got a
- 3:39Speaker 1: problem this franchise. The type of people they have hired
- 3:44Speaker 1: to be on this show, the ladies that flipped the tables,
- 3:47Speaker 1: the fulled and drunk that swear bad behavior is encouraged
- 3:52Speaker 1: or it has been on the show. The show's a
- 3:55Speaker 1: train wreck. It it it has been for a decade, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: it's good entertainment. Now. I'm not and anything here about
- 4:01Speaker 1: racist comments, but I do think when you hire reality
- 4:06Speaker 1: stars who are willing to make fools of themselves, eventually
- 4:11Speaker 1: they're going to bite the hand that feeds them. And
- 4:13Speaker 1: now that's what's happening here. I'm surprised, actually Nini's the
- 4:18Speaker 1: first one to do this. Are you surprised more of
- 4:21Speaker 1: the house host particularly those ones who have been fired,
- 4:25Speaker 1: did not lash out. Yeah, it's it's a bit of
- 4:27Speaker 1: a retaliation. I think Nini's her well has dried up.
- 4:31Speaker 1: If you will, you know, she doesn't have the opportunities,
- 4:34Speaker 1: the money is no longer there, and there is something very,
- 4:36Speaker 1: very almost desperate about it, because why now, and there's
- 4:41Speaker 1: rumors that she was also going to be brought back. Yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 1: she was behind those rumors, so I think it was
- 4:46Speaker 1: Nini's camp that was spreading those rumors. There's a rumor
- 4:49Speaker 1: two she was going to go over to the sister network.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm told now Nini will not work in this business.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And it's not just because of the accusations, but it's
- 4:58Speaker 1: because of her past behavior has burned bridges and we
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't want to diminish this. We've got to take these
- 5:06Speaker 1: accusations very, very seriously. Yeah, we know. It's really sad
- 5:12Speaker 1: because it was such a charmed life for her, right
- 5:15Speaker 1: from where she started, so where she went, and then
- 5:17Speaker 1: she got in the rhyme Murphy TV show, Funny, she
- 5:21Speaker 1: was about to breakthrough a talk show. Everything felt like
- 5:24Speaker 1: it was going to explode for her. All right. What
- 5:26Speaker 1: I said to one of the ladies, I'm not going
- 5:28Speaker 1: to tell you which one, but he's no longer on
- 5:29Speaker 1: the show. I said that once you lose the show,
- 5:32Speaker 1: all this goes away, all the perks go away. And
- 5:35Speaker 1: she didn't believe that. She thought that she was famous
- 5:38Speaker 1: enough now she was bigger than the franchise. She was
- 5:41Speaker 1: the star and Bravo didn't make her. She felt as
- 5:45Speaker 1: if she made Bravo. And when I wanted to say
- 5:47Speaker 1: to her, and I've said this to people to who
- 5:49Speaker 1: have won, actually one American Idol, the star of the
- 5:53Speaker 1: show is Idol, not you. After your season, they move on.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And New York is doing this right now. They're recasting
- 6:00Speaker 1: the entire franchise. And I would, I would argue in
- 6:03Speaker 1: a couple of months, if not yours, Ramona Singer will
- 6:07Speaker 1: be a name that we sort of remember, but it
- 6:08Speaker 1: won't have the power it has now. Wouldn't You're off
- 6:11Speaker 1: that show, the power goes away. That happens with a
- 6:14Speaker 1: lot of jobs. Have you ever felt like that, Corey.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I've worked for big magazines and when I realized this,
- 6:19Speaker 1: you know what, Actually it's not me that's powerful. The
- 6:21Speaker 1: reason everybody has been so nice to me is they
- 6:24Speaker 1: want to be in this magazine. It's nothing to do
- 6:26Speaker 1: with me, honey. I work for Instinct magazine. My embarks
- 6:32Speaker 1: is scandalous, Honey. The boys are want to be to
- 6:35Speaker 1: show you. Sometimes that's a day. This brings us there
- 6:39Speaker 1: to our pole question of the day. We want to
- 6:41Speaker 1: know what you think about this, Ninnie LEAs is claiming
- 6:44Speaker 1: racism is accepted on the real Handwives of Atlanta. Do
- 6:47Speaker 1: you think she's right? Do you think she is right? Remember, though,
- 6:51Speaker 1: Kathy Griffin has also said some really shocking things about
- 6:54Speaker 1: working for Bravo, So I don't think it's all sunshine
- 6:57Speaker 1: over there. But do you think she's right? Hey? Votes
- 7:00Speaker 1: on Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob on Facebook pages
- 7:03Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip, and the Shures checked back on Monday to
- 7:07Speaker 1: hear your results, Corey Love, what are you working on? Yes? Well.
- 7:11Speaker 1: In a new statement, Alec Baldwin says the New Mexico
- 7:13Speaker 1: report on the fatal Rust film shooting exonerates what Yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 1: I'm not sure what report he read, but but Alec
- 7:21Speaker 1: Baldwin says that he's grateful for the New Mexico's investigation
- 7:25Speaker 1: into the fatal on set shooting. So Baldwin made the
- 7:28Speaker 1: statement through his attorney on the day New Mexico's Occupational
- 7:31Speaker 1: Health and Safety Bureau announced that the film's production company,
- 7:35Speaker 1: Rust Movie Productions LLLC, would find the maximum of one
- 7:40Speaker 1: hundred thirty nine thousand, seven hundred nine dollars for safety
- 7:44Speaker 1: failures while shooting. So it gets a little tricky though,
- 7:48Speaker 1: because now, Baldwin, he accidentally, of course, shot and killed
- 7:51Speaker 1: the movie's director of photography, and that was Helena Hutchins
- 7:54Speaker 1: on oct one and she was apparently showing him what
- 7:57Speaker 1: direction to point the gun in during rehearsal. But in
- 8:01Speaker 1: a previous interview, Baldwin said that he had not pulled
- 8:04Speaker 1: the trigger. So I mean, I'm not sure what's going on, like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: how did it go off? Then? But his statement further
- 8:11Speaker 1: went on to say that the report specifies that his
- 8:14Speaker 1: power as a producer of the film was limited to
- 8:18Speaker 1: approving script changes and creative casting. So I think he's
- 8:22Speaker 1: using that to say that he's been exonerated. But I
- 8:24Speaker 1: gotta tell you, Rob, I did my research. I did
- 8:27Speaker 1: my research, you did. I can find no language in
- 8:30Speaker 1: which the new Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau has
- 8:34Speaker 1: exonerated Alec. Bot went up anything. Yeah, we shouldn't be
- 8:37Speaker 1: laughing at outrageous. It doesn't work like this, Alec. You
- 8:40Speaker 1: can't decide that you've been exonerated and then put out
- 8:43Speaker 1: a statement. You're not the one to decide this. You
- 8:46Speaker 1: can't just decide, you know what, I'm fine, I'm exonerated.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Everybody move along and it's not like we're all going
- 8:51Speaker 1: to be like, oh, thank goodness, sound like you're absolutely right. No,
- 8:54Speaker 1: it doesn't work like that. Lawyer's lawyer's ongoing investigation. Clearly
- 9:01Speaker 1: this is not about the legal process but the public
- 9:05Speaker 1: relations aspect. And he wants out there that he's exonerating
- 9:09Speaker 1: and don't look at me anymore and let's just carry
- 9:11Speaker 1: on like normal. It does not work like that, and
- 9:13Speaker 1: you know it doesn't. This is a PR stunt, This
- 9:16Speaker 1: is a PR move. It has nothing to do with
- 9:20Speaker 1: the legal process. Can you imagine if I robbed a
- 9:23Speaker 1: bank and then I put out a statement I've been exonerated. Fine,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm fine, don't worry about me. Everyone's fine. No, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: mean the arrogance of it. It drives me crazy. Hey,
- 9:32Speaker 1: maybe along Pete Davidson's in a circle. He's warning him
- 9:35Speaker 1: to not appear on Kim Kardashian's reality show. So he's
- 9:39Speaker 1: not been on the show and his friends are saying,
- 9:42Speaker 1: don't do it. Sources are telling Page six that at
- 9:44Speaker 1: this point his career is going really, really well. He's
- 9:47Speaker 1: breaking out of SNL into movies, he's done the work,
- 9:50Speaker 1: he's really starting to take off. Does he want to
- 9:53Speaker 1: be a reality star. Now, we love reality shows on
- 9:56Speaker 1: on this podcast, we do, but there is still sort
- 10:00Speaker 1: of like a snob factor within the entertainment business that
- 10:03Speaker 1: reality shows at the bottom of the barrel. So if
- 10:06Speaker 1: you're a movie star, do you want to be a
- 10:08Speaker 1: reality star? All the agents and managers and friends, even
- 10:11Speaker 1: I guess, would argue, don't do it. So that's not
- 10:14Speaker 1: the concern. Is here Pete's creer is exploding and why
- 10:18Speaker 1: would he do now a reality show? Even if it's
- 10:22Speaker 1: with Kim Kardashian. It might be good advice, It might
- 10:25Speaker 1: be good advice. What do you think, Listen? I was
- 10:27Speaker 1: thinking about this and I immediately thought of a conversation
- 10:30Speaker 1: that I had with you here on the show where
- 10:32Speaker 1: I told you, from a relationship standpoint, reality shows are
- 10:36Speaker 1: the kiss of death. So if he really, if he's
- 10:38Speaker 1: really serious about Kim, look, I can say Bobbie and Whitney,
- 10:42Speaker 1: Nick Lasha and Jessica Simpson, Yeah, that you haven't Michelle
- 10:46Speaker 1: Williams from Deephanie's Child like they are broke up because
- 10:50Speaker 1: of reality show. So I would say, do not do it, Pete,
- 10:54Speaker 1: And that just shows you how kind you are, because
- 10:56Speaker 1: I was just looking at his career, you're looking at
- 10:58Speaker 1: his personal life. The real I was just thinking about
- 11:03Speaker 1: career and money, money, and you were also sweet Corey,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you touched by a little heart every minute. Don't do it, Pete,
- 11:11Speaker 1: this is really controversial. So what's happening now with the
- 11:14Speaker 1: masked singer? Lots of drama. Yeah, well this is so
- 11:17Speaker 1: crazy too, like so King Jang protests Rudy Giuliani's controversial
- 11:21Speaker 1: appearance masked singer. Yeah, so listen, we all know the
- 11:26Speaker 1: mass singer has features on politically polarizing contestants and the
- 11:30Speaker 1: parents like Sarah Palin and Caitlyn Jenner, and the backlash
- 11:34Speaker 1: to those performances. You know, it's nothing compared to the
- 11:36Speaker 1: public outrage surrounding this season's appearance by Rudy Giuliani. In fact,
- 11:42Speaker 1: accusations on social media were so intense that people wondered
- 11:46Speaker 1: if this performance would even be cut from the show,
- 11:48Speaker 1: because you know, it was like weeks ago, was four
- 11:51Speaker 1: or five weeks ago, It was not live, This was
- 11:53Speaker 1: not live. Absolutely Now, when host Nick Cannon finally unscrewed
- 11:57Speaker 1: the big costume head off of Giulianni, his reaction was
- 12:01Speaker 1: slightly more muted than usual. He kept things upbeat, however,
- 12:05Speaker 1: you know, and he was a professional. He was like
- 12:07Speaker 1: Mr Giuliani with all the controversy that's surrounding. Yeah, he said,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think it surprises us all that you're here on
- 12:16Speaker 1: the mass Singer, So what made you decide to do this?
- 12:19Speaker 1: And you know, quite honestly, very I would say, endearingly
- 12:23Speaker 1: in a way. I'll give it to him, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 1: Giuliani says, well, I guess the main reason is I
- 12:28Speaker 1: just had a granddaughter, Grace, and I want her to
- 12:30Speaker 1: know you should try everything, even when things are completely
- 12:34Speaker 1: unlike you and unlikely. That's what Giuliani responded. Now, Robin
- 12:38Speaker 1: think was taken aback, and you know, he still kind
- 12:42Speaker 1: of kept it cool and played alone and he's still engaged.
- 12:45Speaker 1: He did his normal thing. But Nicole sure Singer and
- 12:48Speaker 1: Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, they were like a little over the
- 12:51Speaker 1: top giddy. They were like they were in love with
- 12:54Speaker 1: the moment. Yeah. Yeah, it was a strange look considering
- 12:58Speaker 1: at that moment Giuliani wasn't a lot of hot water.
- 13:01Speaker 1: When it was accorded when he still is, he still is,
- 13:04Speaker 1: the audience was shocked. The faces of the audience are
- 13:06Speaker 1: having none of it. Absolutely, but you know, but Ken
- 13:08Speaker 1: could not hold his disdain and he walked off, and
- 13:10Speaker 1: I wanted to say, really quickly, um, here's my take
- 13:13Speaker 1: on that. Really quickly. I want people to understand that,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you know, Juliani is affiliated with a particular president who
- 13:19Speaker 1: had been accused of anti Asian sentiment during the whole pandemic,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and there's a lot of violence against Asians, and so
- 13:26Speaker 1: I want people to understand why for Ken this might
- 13:29Speaker 1: have been particularly was difficult for him. Yeah, it was
- 13:32Speaker 1: particularly hard for him. It's very complicated. My sources are
- 13:35Speaker 1: telling me that moving forward, the Mass Singer are no
- 13:38Speaker 1: longer going to do this. They thought it would be
- 13:40Speaker 1: great for ratings. It was the lowest rated show I
- 13:43Speaker 1: think ever in the history of the Mass Singer. The
- 13:46Speaker 1: numbers came out and they're really really low numbers. And
- 13:49Speaker 1: because everybody knew it was happening, they leaked this to
- 13:51Speaker 1: get us all to tune in. People tuned out. They
- 13:54Speaker 1: just didn't want to see it. And so, regardless of
- 13:56Speaker 1: your politics here we try so hard to not be
- 13:58Speaker 1: a political show. But regardless of your politics, I think
- 14:01Speaker 1: we can all agree that when we watch these entertainment shows.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We want to be entertained. I don't want to be
- 14:07Speaker 1: dragged back into that ugly world of screaming and chanting.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And you know, having a controversial person on like Caitlyn
- 14:14Speaker 1: Jennery is one thing. Having a political person on, somebody
- 14:18Speaker 1: who lives and breathes politics is something that I think
- 14:21Speaker 1: can be very damaging. Some argued this is what killed
- 14:24Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars, the Shawn Spiceres, the Sarah Palin's.
- 14:28Speaker 1: It just turned people off in the same way that
- 14:31Speaker 1: I guess having Chelsea Clinton on these shows would turn
- 14:34Speaker 1: people off to on the on the right, although Chelsea
- 14:37Speaker 1: probably wouldn't do it. But it is so interesting about
- 14:41Speaker 1: about political figures. I'm told moving forward to not because
- 14:45Speaker 1: they're upsetting Ken Jong, not because of that, but because
- 14:48Speaker 1: the ratings were bad. That's all they care about. The
- 14:51Speaker 1: ratings were bad, people didn't tune in, And you know,
- 14:55Speaker 1: Robb really quickly, you know, you you bring up a
- 14:56Speaker 1: good point. I discovered the mess singer when Joe made
- 14:59Speaker 1: me turn off political news. He was like enough of
- 15:03Speaker 1: wet some escapism. We really discovered the show. You're trying
- 15:06Speaker 1: to get away, absolutely absolutely, I'm so aware this podcast
- 15:11Speaker 1: is twenty minutes of delicious silliness. You don't want to
- 15:14Speaker 1: be lectured to, You don't want to talk about politics,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and I think it's a mistake that the mass singer made.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And now I'm told they are going to correct. Hey,
- 15:22Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:23Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back. I'm not shooting with that
- 15:29Speaker 1: lear friend, Cory Andrew is so good to have you back,
- 15:31Speaker 1: my friend. We missed you. Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Julia Rambert said that kissing is the key to a
- 15:39Speaker 1: long and happy marriage. Do you agree? Seventy said yes,
- 15:44Speaker 1: kissing is the key. I agree, although I don't know
- 15:48Speaker 1: if it actually has to be a kiss. I think
- 15:50Speaker 1: just affection is the kid to a long relationship. Holding hands,
- 15:54Speaker 1: being kind to one another. Physical connection is lovely too,
- 15:58Speaker 1: but definitely connect with people that I think it's the
- 16:02Speaker 1: secret to a long and happy marriage. Don't forget to

- 16:39Speaker 1: Lawrence and Moroney, who were first linked in June two
- 16:42Speaker 1: thousand and eighteen, were expecting their first child together. So

- 17:48Speaker 1: at this point, I think it's also a bit silly.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But maybe I'm being a little bit too much of
- 17:52Speaker 1: an optimistic Had you asked me six months ago if
- 17:54Speaker 1: somebody would slap someone at the Oscars, I'd say no,
- 17:57Speaker 1: But it happened. So now this is the world. Look
- 18:01Speaker 1: you are, so you know you have a hobbie who's
- 18:03Speaker 1: you know? Now, welcome to the point we are in
- 18:11Speaker 1: our culture where we are given, we're giving rules, We're
- 18:15Speaker 1: giving notification that if you do slap somebody at the
- 18:18Speaker 1: Tony Awards, there will be consequences. I'm sad, but at
- 18:21Speaker 1: this point, okay, let's then with a moment of rob
- 18:23Speaker 1: something a little bit more optimistic. So for twenty minutes,
- 18:26Speaker 1: also we try to make your laugh or giggle with
- 18:28Speaker 1: celebrity gossip, but for a moment, we're a little bit
- 18:31Speaker 1: more serious. This is a quote from from my book
- 18:34Speaker 1: The Forward Ancer, and it really really stuck with me.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It's something that I think about all the time. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: guarantee you, I guarantee you. The crueler they are, the
- 18:44Speaker 1: more pain they are in. Now, I'm not excusing people's behavior.
- 18:49Speaker 1: We've all been verbally attacked, emotionally attacked in our lives
- 18:54Speaker 1: by somebody really cruel. It might be a family member,
- 18:57Speaker 1: it might be somebody you work with. Now, movie Forward,
- 19:00Speaker 1: think about this. The crueler they are, the more pain
- 19:05Speaker 1: they are in. Yeah, And I think but by saying that,
- 19:09Speaker 1: are you saying that we should sort of understand them
- 19:12Speaker 1: then and not only be affected by them. What I'm
- 19:14Speaker 1: saying here is that we should know that when we
- 19:17Speaker 1: think about how we're going to respond. And I'm not
- 19:19Speaker 1: saying it gives anybody a free pass. It does not
- 19:22Speaker 1: give people a free pass. But if you know the motivation,
- 19:25Speaker 1: if you know where this anger, this cruelty is coming from,
- 19:30Speaker 1: it makes your response so much easier because it's not personal.
- 19:33Speaker 1: It's not about me, it's about them. It's the crueler
- 19:37Speaker 1: they are, the more pain they are in. Hey, that's
- 19:39Speaker 1: it for this week. Thank you so much for listening
- 19:42Speaker 1: to the Not Even Nice with Rob and Corey show.

- 20:21Speaker 1: Bro
