- 0:07Los Angeles Dodgers faced the San Francisco Giants at Candlestick Park for a Sunday afternoon
- 0:11game on July 20, 1969. Los Angeles entered this game tied for first place with the Braves
- 0:17in the NL West with a 53-40 record. They were managed by Walt Ulston in his 16th season
- 0:23as skipper of the Dodgers. San Francisco was also in the mix in the National League West,
- 0:28the game behind the Braves and Dodgers. They were managed by Clyde King, who was in his
- 0:31first year after taking over the job from Herman Franks. This audio recording is from
- 0:36the Los Angeles Radio broadcast featuring announcers Vince Scully and Jerry Doggett.
- 0:40Well, hi everyone, this is Jerry Doggett along with Vince Scully. Here we are at Candlestick Park
- 0:46for the game between the Dodgers and the Giants. In Candlestick Park today, the Dodgers and the
- 0:53Giants will play the fourth game of the series. And in a short time, the crew for Apollo 11 will
- 1:00arrive on the moon and we'll have bulletins and stories on that as it does take place here this
- 1:05afternoon. So certainly a momentous occasion in our world history and we will bring it to you as
- 1:11it occurs. Today it will be Claude Ostin trying to get the Dodgers even in the series and Gaylord
- 1:18Terry going for the Giants. Terry 11 and 7 on the year and Ostin has a record of 12 and 7 on the
- 1:26year. Claude against the Giants, no record this year, four and eight live times. Terry against the
- 1:32Dodgers, no record this year, and six and five live times. Now the batting orders for the game
- 1:42today here at Candlestick Park. Murray Wills will be at shortstop. Manny Mola in center field.
- 1:49Willie Crawford batting third and playing left field. Wes Parker will be at first base batting
- 1:58fourth. Len Gabrielson in right field. Tom Haller will be the catcher. Bill Sudeikis at third.
- 2:11Ted Seismore at second base. And Claude Ostin will be the pitcher. For the Giants, Bobby Bonds in
- 2:26right field. Ron Hart will bat second and play second base. In center field, Willie Mays.
- 2:36Willie McCovey will bat fourth and play first base. Jim Davenport is the third baseman.
- 2:47Kenny Henderson in left field. Hal Lanier at shortstop. Bob Barton will be the catcher.
- 3:02And Gaylor Murray to do the 15th. Terry 11 and 7. Six and five against the Dodgers live time and no
- 3:13record this year. Ostin, four and eight against the Giants live time. Started against the
- 3:19Giants on July the 12th. And the Dodgers won the ball game. Ostin was nine innings and had 10 strikeouts
- 3:27as high as the year. The Dodgers won that game three to two in 14 innings. But Claude was not
- 3:33involved in the decision. Terry started against the Dodgers on July the 11th. And the game
- 3:40the Dodgers won 64. Terry worked eight innings. And allowed nine hits. So Gaylor parries.
- 3:51McTall right under working on the mound for the Giants. And Claude Ostin for the Dodgers.
- 3:56The umpires will be vargo at the play. Ostin, Colossi and Pollock on the base pass. And the
- 4:02national defense race now is really locked up tonight. Atlanta Brazer beaten last night by Joe
- 4:07Nitro and the San Diego Padres. So the Dodgers went into today's action with a 3 percentage point
- 4:13lead over Atlanta. With San Francisco third one game back. And Cincinnati in fourth three games back.
- 4:22And on the scoreboard it is three to two Montreal leading the New York match in the first game of
- 4:30a double header. And Montreal sung them at yesterday when they had a chance to gain some valuable
- 4:34ground on the Chicago Cubs. And the Cubs are leading one to nothing over Philadelphia in the
- 4:40ninth inning with Jenkins going against Jackson. That's the first game of the double header. It
- 4:45was the final score now in Chicago winning one to nothing. In the second game Selma goes against
- 4:54the champions. So the match are down three to two in the ninth. And the Cubs have won their game
- 5:00from Philadelphia rain is the part of the East St. Louis the Pittsburgh rained out Houston at
- 5:05Cincinnati a double header postponed because of rain for that to blow rain out of double
- 5:10header. Now the Giants take the field here at Kansas. And what is leading San Diego five to
- 5:17nothing. And there are a lot of little fish in the now. That's. That's not a. The American League
- 5:24scores. Oakland in California double header later on Minnesota Seattle a little late. It is five
- 5:32to four Kansas City over Chicago in the first two. And three to two destroyed over Cleveland in the
- 5:38eighth inning. Washington to New York to and then the. Underway in a moment now our national anthem.
- 7:08On the mound now Gaylord very warming up we have a nice spot on hand here at Cantaloupe Park.
- 7:16The crowd yesterday was twenty six thousand should be around those figures again for today's game.
- 7:23Right. The wind has begun to blow a little earlier today than yesterday. But it should be a
- 7:32nice day for the game. The crowd carry warming up with Barton. The very now stands two for the
- 7:38Giants and one for the Dodgers. The last five games which is most of them decided by one run.
- 7:46The Giants have won three of those games. The Giants lead the season series seven to four and
- 7:55they lead here at Cantaloupe Park three games to two. The Dodgers have always had problems in the
- 8:00park now hope to get their work for the year. I'll leave it up here and then they'll come back
- 8:05in September for another three game series. Well the Dodgers will cover Parker gave a
- 8:12halor today to start more in those things. Willie Davis had not arrived at the park half hour ago.
- 8:18He had been confined to the hospital overnight for observation. So apparently he was not
- 8:25released from the hospital. Willie was gave too much of yesterday to hit on the back of the head on the
- 8:30butting home on a pitch by Juan Mariscal and had to go to the hospital for observation but the
- 8:35report was that he was OK. I had more will stepping in and it's time to play ball. Gailord carried
- 8:40to the wind up man the first pitch pulling a bouncing ball to the left side in the hole at
- 8:44LaNere. The long throw not in time and will speak it out for a base. So will stop one to the left
- 8:50side and short stop LaNere. Doesn't make the play in time. So more is on to start it off here for
- 8:56the Dodgers in the first game. One worry now is it's safely in 14 straight games.
- 9:00Manny Mota coming up Manny has a three fifty three batting average three home runs that 18 runs
- 9:09batted in Manny Mota now with more wills on his first base. I guess right under Gailord Curry
- 9:1711 wins seven losses earned an average of 264. Curry checking signs with catcher Bob Barton
- 9:24Davenport is in his third base wills at first base and Manny Mota waiting out the play. Here's
- 9:32Curry looking the pitch Mota around the bat takes the strike the play them fire is Vargo with
- 9:37Wilson Colossi and the Pollock on the base bat on one to Manny. Holder hitting three fifty three
- 9:50and as the Dodger hitting three seventy nine. Harry again out of the stretch the pitch to Mota
- 9:56pulling a five ball along the right field line down in the corner and it's gonna go foul ball.
- 10:00Bobby Barnes is playing in right field today with Mays back in the line up. This is the first
- 10:05game that Mays have started in the series. Henderson has moved into left field. Maze in
- 10:16center and Barnes is playing in right. Strike two counts Manny Mota Willie Crawford on deck
- 10:26first inning. Did I just send those team today against the Giants. Now the pitch on the way to Manny.
- 10:36High for ball and it is one and two Manny held up started to go after a high inside pitch and then
- 10:42fell away. Final score Montreal beats the New York match three to two as was Lewski beat
- 10:50the Cubs won their first game one to nothing. So the Metluatic great chance and lost two straight to Montreal.
- 10:56High over his head and down goes Mota ball two two and two. Manny down and under a high fastball.
- 11:03Two balls and two strikes Mota backs out a moment. Wilson first base opened up with an infield hit to
- 11:13shortstop. Now the look in the stretch and runner goes pitch full and fouled away. So Mota fouled
- 11:22it off to the right way down on the stand and Wilson turn and come back now. Mori has stolen
- 11:29twenty two bases for the year seven as a Dodger as a Dodger he's seven out of nine for the whole
- 11:35year twenty two out of thirty. So the last game before the all star break
- 11:45and a lot going on in this national league west three teams in the game.
- 11:51Right it is a two two count and the pitch to Mota outside ball three three and two. Barton
- 11:56thought he had a strike. Somebody hollered out of the giant and Bargo pointed a finger over there.
- 12:08All right three balls and two strikes. Manny Mota waiting on it first safe wills.
- 12:16Wilson he goes now in a three two pitch. Very checking signs again out of a stretch.
- 12:21Macew holds him on the look and he goes. It's pulling it hit the right field along the line. It's going to be in the base.
- 12:27Going off to the south during the corner now Wilson's third the ball is at the front.
- 12:30Both of the second wills of score. Here's a throw across the third base and it is too late at the triple from Mota.
- 12:39So Manny Mota on a three two pitch. Lines one in the right field corner
- 12:43to drive home. Mori wills and give the Dodgers a one to nothing lead here with nobody out in the first
- 12:48inning. So Mota right down the line with that one all the way into the corner as soon as the ball hit
- 12:53fair began to bounce away and down into the corner Bobby Barnes had to retrieve against the fence.
- 12:59So a runners in Manny Mota at third base and Willie Crawford the batter Willie batting
- 13:05two sixty three with eight home runs and thirty runs batted in. So the Dodgers jump off to the
- 13:11lead here on a single and a triple and Crawford not trying to increase the lead as Terry goes
- 13:16out of a stretch to pick the Willie foul back and it is strike one. He got a fast ball in on the hand.
- 13:24This has been quite a series here 14 to 13 three to two and five to four for the three games in this
- 13:29set. Of course they had two one one ball games to conclude the series last weekend in the Dodger
- 13:35stadium. Now the 0 one picked Crawford taking high for a ball and the count is one and one.
- 13:40One ball one strike count Manny Mota at third base for Manny that is the second triple in the first
- 13:48as a Dodger. He had three home runs. Here's the pitch Crawford swings away from the strike two one and two.
- 13:58One ball two strikes on deck West Park where nobody out of Manny at third base in the run in.
- 14:11A Lord Perry working to Willie Crawford. Now the pitch pulling a ground ball to the left side
- 14:16having for it up with it holds the runner shows the first in time Crawford a job and Mota has to hold
- 14:21on. Had Crawford hit the ball to the shortstop of the second baseman the dancer in position
- 14:26to seize the run. He hit it for third so Mota had to hold and here's Parker coming up now. Parker
- 14:32with 51 runs that it in. He and Andy Coslow are tied for the team lead in RBI's. Parker has 12 home runs.
- 14:45So here's Parker now waiting with a runner at third base and now the right side of the infield
- 14:50is up a bit and they're going to bring Henderson a little in left field.
- 14:53It's to Parker it down the third base mine foul ball.
- 14:58We bounce one just outside the line strike one. Now the infield up a little more.
- 15:05We'll see how the Dodgers react to a ground ball. Mota might have to hold up a third on the ground ball.
- 15:11Dan plan in. McEvoy at first. Hundred seconds. Leneer at short davenport to third. A run in.
- 15:19A man out and a man at third. Now again the stretch and the look. Perry ready to deliver to Parker.
- 15:24High for ball and it is one at one. One ball one strike to West Parker.
- 15:36One one count. Gabelson on deck.
- 15:42Now Perry takes off a sign. Check looks and delivers to Parker.
- 15:46High and away from ball. Two and one now to Parker. The Dodgers had several shots at
- 15:52Marichal yesterday but in the late inning he was especially tough in the seventh inning.
- 15:57He had the base of Oda with one out and kept the Dodgers from scoring another run.
- 16:01And that turned out to be the big difference in the game. Now two one in the pitch on the way.
- 16:05Parker takes high again. Ball three. Three and one. So West started to go looking for a breaking
- 16:09ball and it stayed up and away so he held up. Three balls. One strike with one man out.
- 16:20Once again Parker waiting. Infield in. Outfield straight away on West.
- 16:26Three one pitch. He is outside. He walked in. So Parker draws a walk to first from Perry.
- 16:32And here's Gabelson coming up now. And he'll skip the chance. Now drop back to double play depth.
- 16:36One away. Gabe hitting 287. One for one over and ten runs batted in.
- 16:44So Gabelson up now at front and linear. Drop back. So the infield goes back.
- 16:57There's a foul out of play.
- 16:59Gabelson with a count of one strike.
- 17:16Now the look and the pitch on the way. Gabe takes inside around the five and it is ball one. One
- 17:20and one to Gabe. Parker on with a walk.
- 17:24So the third base. We're in the first inning in the Dodgers Leaves of Giants one to nothing.
- 17:30G. Lord Perry working. Now the look check and the pitch on the way.
- 17:35The ground ball on the right field of base in. Here's the run in. Parker goes to second base
- 17:39and stops there. The Dodgers Leaves shoot a nothing on a ground single to right by Lem Gabelson.
- 17:44So the run is over and the batter will be Tom Haller.
- 18:06I time called as Martin goes to the mound to have a talk with
- 18:09his G. Lord Perry. Tom Haller comes up. The Dodgers have Parker at second base and at first base is
- 18:15Lem Gabelson. The game singles on the ground to drive in the run.
- 18:25Here's the stretch now. The look and the pitch on the way. Well in line to better.
- 18:30That made it dive for. Couldn't get it. Parker's in the store. The Dodgers lead three to nothing.
- 18:34At Tommy Haller lines one back to the middle. The Dodgers have three runs in now and Gable
- 18:41from stops the second base. The world's motor and Parker have scored Gable from the second base
- 18:47and Haller is at first. All right here's Bill Sudakis about it in 225 with four home runs and
- 19:0329 runs batted in. Three runs in the Dodgers have two on and Terry now ready to work to
- 19:12today because with Ray Sudakis in the bullpen for San Francisco. Here's the look in the pitch.
- 19:18They'll take tie with the slider. One ball no strike. So the Dodgers have jumped off to a
- 19:22three run lead here against G. Lord Perry. Infield hit by Will the triple by motor ground up by
- 19:28proper to walk to Parker and singles by Gable from the Haller. Now again the stretch of the
- 19:34left. Pick on the way. A swing in the middle of the breaking pitch and it is one and one.
- 19:39One ball one strike here in the first inning.
- 19:50All right it's one one with one out.
- 19:52And here's the look now and the pitch on the way. Low for ball. Two and one.
- 20:01Two balls one strike.
- 20:06The game is in the first inning.
- 20:15Now again Terry out of a stretch on the left. So they complain to the slider strikes two and
- 20:20two to Bill. Side more on deck. The Dodgers have one out two on and have scored three times here
- 20:27in the first inning. So Perry trying to weather the storm and Sudakis trying to keep it going now.
- 20:35Here's the look back check of the runners in the pitch to Bill.
- 20:38Him side around the knees ball three and it's a friend to count. So full count to Sudakis.
- 20:51Three balls and two strikes.
- 20:56Now Perry ready to work again. Runner's edge off. Here's the look in the pitch.
- 21:00Bill hit the foul off third in the stand just beyond the Dodger dugout. The count stays three and two.
- 21:17All right three and two. Sudakis waiting.
- 21:20Here's the look now and the pitch on the way outside ball four. The Dodgers have loaded them up.
- 21:33And as the day just walked the first base the astronauts have landed on the moon.
- 21:40Well that's quite a moment in our history.
- 21:44Five King now goes out to the mound. Dr. Perry the second walk given up.
- 21:48The Dodgers have loaded the bases.
- 21:50Here's an announcement of Candlestick Park and we're going to send it to the PA system.
- 22:20The moment of silence here at Candlestick Park and the servants of the landing on the moon.
- 22:36Thank you.
- 22:55A great moment in our world history.
- 23:00Just accomplished by the three astronauts who have landed on the moon two have landed the
- 23:04start. You'll have further reports and details later on as we go through the afternoon.
- 23:09The pitch to Seismore at five or one. King was to the mound to talk.
- 23:15The Gaylord Perry the Dodgers have the bases loaded with one half three runs in and Seismore
- 23:21up now batting in the eighth spot on the order. Betty hitting two fifty eight and twenty six
- 23:29runs batted in. Perry ready to look in the pitch.
- 23:31Pulling the drive in the right center field. Bonds coming fast for the ball and makes the
- 23:36catch for the out. Gays tied and has to hold up as the throw comes through.
- 23:40So five more out on the five all the bonds in short right center. That's the second out and
- 23:46brings up Claude O'Sheem. So Seismore's five all not deep enough to allow the Dodgers to try to send
- 23:51gave in. Here's Claude O'Sheem coming up. It will be several hours of course before Armstrong
- 24:04comes out of the eagle and walks on the moon and that will come up sometime this evening.
- 24:11It'll be another great moment.
- 24:15Here is O'Sheem now and the picked on the way to Claude breaking ball for strike going on
- 24:20he's the eighth ninth batter of the inning and the Dodgers have loaded them up past three in and two out.
- 24:29Gableson, Howler, Sudeikas on base and Gaylord Terry working out O'Sheem. Dodgers best hitting
- 24:37pitcher takes one inside for ball on the count of one on one. O'Sheem is hitting two sixty two he
- 24:42has eight runs battered and he has sixteen hits one double. We're in the top of the first inning.
- 24:52Dodgers leading three to nothing.
- 24:56And now Gaylord Terry.
- 25:01Now the look in the pitch a plan of a strike two O'Sheem had a good cut at that one.
- 25:07One ball and two strikes the count.
- 25:16One two count O'Sheem waiting. Three runs in three men on and two men out.
- 25:24Now again the look in the pitch on the way to O'Sheem is playing a foul coming up just above us
- 25:28and it is still a one and two count. Must have been a good catch up there over our head.
- 25:41So O'Sheem waiting with a one ball two strike counter for those of you whose attention has
- 25:46been diverted from the game to the moon landing for the past few minutes we'll give you a recap
- 25:49on what's been happening here. With O'Sheem is bad a one ball and two strike count with two out.
- 25:54Pitch on the way. Half swing low football and it is two and two. In the inning Will's hit a
- 26:01bounce to the shortstop and beat it out for a base hit. Mota triple the right field to get a run
- 26:05in. Crawford bounced out the third and Mota had to hold. Parker walks. Gableson and Haller single
- 26:11to get two runs in so they could walk below the bases and side more flight to right and O'Sheem
- 26:16is at bat now with a two two count. Here's the pitch. Glong and a five ball to center. Well what
- 26:20made going back on a still back turns and makes the catch. The O'Sheem drove a steeper set of
- 26:26field of maze able to haul it down and the Dodgers in the first inning show three runs.
- 26:32There were four hits and they left three men on so the score at the end of one inning a play
- 26:37of nine men bat the Dodgers three and the Giants coming up. All right 12 O'Sheems take to a
- 26:46pre run lead now to go to play on the last half of the first inning. O'Sheem with his law and seven
- 26:51records will pick first the Bobby Barnes Ron Hunt and Willie May the Dodgers missed the golden
- 26:56opportunity of course to really open it up. They had the bases loaded with one out but that's been
- 27:01the story here mainly in this series. Bases loaded situations one out and they're not able to get a
- 27:06run in on that play. So we'll see how big that turns out to be as we go to the bottom of the
- 27:11first inning at O'Sheem who was waiting a long time actually about 25 minutes.
- 27:19The moon landing of course has just been accomplished as the lunar module landed at 118 on the
- 27:28moon that looked 118 specific times and we're estimating at least that's the estimate that we
- 27:34hear that Armstrong will step out on the moon at around 1118 tonight. So that may be changed a
- 27:43little bit. Here's Bobby Barnes waiting at O'Sheem's pictures the curve's going on in a strike one.
- 27:48Nothing on the count to Bobby Barnes. Bond batting 284 20 home runs 49 runs batted in.
- 27:55O'Sheem set delivers. Hockball is inside and it is one ball one strike.
- 28:07One and one.
- 28:11Bond batting in the lead off spot with Mays back in action. Curve is going inside the ball.
- 28:15O'Sheem was not involved in the decision he's last started against the chance.
- 28:24Now a kill one count as Fod goes into the wind up and delivers to Bond a bouncing ball foul
- 28:30outside a third. Fod picked blast in Houston. He beat the Astros three to two. Now the pitch
- 28:50is two. Fod away as Bond tried to check explain from a breaking ball.
- 29:08I don't think checking again a two to pitch on the way to Bobby Barnes curve is just inside ball
- 29:13one. The Fod working to bleed off then the Dodgers had three runs in in the first inning
- 29:22but four base hits there were two walks one figured in the scoring the Walker Parker he scored
- 29:28the day because the walk was left on here's a three to pick curve one on a miss right three
- 29:32and he took a little off on Ellen gained the feet of it and down goes Bobby Barnes.
- 29:37O'Sheem has been on a bit of a strikeout kick he had turned against the Giants that was his
- 29:41season high and in the game of Houston O'Sheem struck out seven. He has walked only one batter in
- 29:50his last two strikes and that was an intentional walk in the game against the Giants. Here's Ron
- 29:57Hunt at bat now Ron batting 255 one omen and 26 runs battered. First picked away for ball one ball
- 30:09on strike. Ron Hunt to be followed by Willie Mays making his first start in the series.
- 30:16Atlanta is winning from San Diego the Padres one last night came off.
- 30:20It's a five-all in the center field Manny Mota coming up and over a few steps and makes the catch
- 30:25for the off. The hunt flies off to Mota is playing center field today. Let's pause for station
- 30:30identification. This is the Los Angeles Dodgers radio network. In favor of Atlanta over San Diego
- 30:36and the Dodgers lead the sprays by three percent each point in the United States. Here's a picture
- 30:43made on a pop-up in the short set of field. Side war backing up skating his eyes looking up now
- 30:49moves in and makes the catch for the off. The wind is playing a few tricks on it and of course the
- 30:53sun adds to it. So the side retired in the first inning three up three down on the store at the
- 30:59end of one the Dodgers three and San Francisco nothing. We had crazy the dealer at Union 76
- 31:10every day of the week. Oh the big 76 station.
- 31:21Let's go to the second inning now with the top of the order. Will Mota and Crawford will
- 31:25cut it off. The Dodgers batted around in the first inning.
- 31:42Will takes the first pitch inside one ball and no strikes tomorrow. Manny Mota on deck and
- 31:48Willie Crawford to follow three nothing Dodgers leading as Gailor Terry takes the
- 31:52time. Now the right hander ready in the picture on the way to Murray taking little
- 31:57football will now just play for him 14 straight games. That massive Andy he's gone by Andy
- 32:05Costco club high. Will's batting 390 during the street. Here's the two old pitch to
- 32:10Murray strike on the corner. So in one. Murray's average has been 444 during the past 10 games
- 32:17he's been 20 for 45. The past seven games was a two home run for against the Giants
- 32:23and driven in nine. The ground ball up behind second base when they can't get it.
- 32:28They hit for Red Hot. Murray will get another hit. I just in two for the day and boy he's
- 32:34really blazing.
- 32:37Will's now a 16 436 against the Giants. He's joining the Dodgers. Manny Mota coming up now
- 32:48and Ray Sadecki begins to throw again down in the Giants bullpen. The Dodgers lead three to nothing
- 32:53and the game is in the top of the second inning. Manny Mota bats second inning
- 33:02and Gaylord Perry out of a stretch to look over and the pitch for the high bounce or off the
- 33:09plate back to the boundary after he has to wait. Catches the fair hand and then throws
- 33:12just in time. Perry played it's the only way he could had he cut it in the glove and thrown
- 33:17he would have not have made it. He waited for it to come down and cut it with the fair hand
- 33:21and threw all in one sweeping motion. So a good play by Perry gets Mota and down to second base
- 33:27goes Will. The Will's able to advance on the ground out by Manny and it brings up Willie Crawford
- 33:33who's rounded out the third his first time up. Crawford batting 263 with Will's on a second base
- 33:38here in the second inning. Crawford has eight home runs, 30 runs batted in, delivers a
- 33:46play on the miss of a hard one. Backfall around the letters on the inside part of the plate.
- 33:53Strike one count to Willie. What's Parker on deck? The ball game in the second inning.
- 34:00The Giants used the home run ball yesterday to beat the Dodgers. They had three home runs.
- 34:04Now the pick on the way. Pulling a fly ball foul on the play on the left side.
- 34:09So it is a strike two count now to Willie Crawford.
- 34:15Dave Marshall hit the game winner in the eighth inning off Val McLean. McCubby had one in the
- 34:19second inning and Kenny Anderson tied the game with one in the fifth inning. The Dodgers at nine
- 34:24hits when they were held to singles by Maristar. They now have five hits off Gaylord Perry here
- 34:31in the second inning. Now the pick to Crawford. Pulling a grounded foul right under Ozark who
- 34:37had to skip off to get over. That one almost got him on the toes and that just got him.
- 34:43Danny Ozark and third kind of pushing his feet a moment. He was Jack B Nimble, Jack B Quick.
- 34:51He had to get up and away out of that one. He had a hot dog.
- 34:56All right. Strike two count to Crawford. Terry ready in the fifth. Off to feed an outside for
- 35:00ball one and two. A change up and he missed the way outside. One ball two strikes. One two.
- 35:17Again, Will's off second base. Now the look hand is checked by Perry the pitch. Willie hit the foul
- 35:25off third out of play in the stand. Down behind the Dodger dugout. One ball two strikes counts.
- 35:32The ball game is in the second inning. He can't go to the park.
- 35:44All right. Crawford leading in the batter's box.
- 35:50And what Parker out on deck. Will's again leads away from second LaMere trying to keep
- 35:55him tied up. It's the Willie is low with a curve and it's two and two. With the left hand
- 36:01header up there, Hunt ignores Will. He's pulling up the right side. But LaMere
- 36:05stays over towards second base. The outfield has swung a little bit to the right against
- 36:08Willie Crawford. Willie goes to left quite a bit but they play him around just to save.
- 36:14All right. It is two two counts. Now the look and here's the pitch.
- 36:18Swung on him. This strike three. The Crawford dugout on strike. I heard them got him.
- 36:21That's the first strikeout for Perry. And two outs. What's Parker coming up? Final score
- 36:28destroyed C. Cleveland three to two in the first game of the double header.
- 36:32Lyser for the winner and Stan Williams, the loser at stand now, had a free and pen run.
- 36:40To repeat, Montreal beat the match in the first game and the Chubs beat Philadelphia in the
- 36:44first game. Bada Rain out to the Eastern part of the list.
- 36:47The nation. Parker takes a high fighter for a strike, going one. The rainouts were a Pittsburgh.
- 36:54St. Louis and Pittsburgh a single game rainout and Houston Cincinnati a double header rain
- 36:58out and Atlanta really pounding San Diego now. Nine to nothing in the seventh inning.
- 37:07The play to home of the six. There's a breaking ball for strike two to five.
- 37:11Later getting a four teams were zooming on in the fifth inning.
- 37:14But the odd rays beat them last night six to one behind Joe Neigroff.
- 37:25What Parker waiting? Here's the picture on the way high inside from all one and two.
- 37:30Will's opened up with a single. Good second on a bounce out by motor.
- 37:34Crawford is struck out and now Perry picking the parkers.
- 37:37Dodgers left the base of voters in the first inning, but they scored three times. So they
- 37:41need three to nothing. And Terry said one and two. Put on the way to Parker outside high again.
- 37:49Ball to the two now.
- 37:56Good to count. Parker waiting.
- 37:57Good to count. Now again. Terry checking time.
- 38:11The wind up from the pitch on the way curve low ball free.
- 38:15Parker walk his first time up and then scored on the base set by Tommy Holler.
- 38:28Grand two.
- 38:31Terry again with the science and Barton will to lead off second base. Now the look on the
- 38:34face. West brings the ground ball to shortstop.
- 38:37On here scoops it up. Here's the play. It's been timed. Parker is about to retire to five.
- 38:41So the Dodgers leave wills. They've now left four. No runs. One hit. One left.
- 38:46Of course the end of an inning and a half Dodgers three and the Giants nothing.
- 38:53Now we go to the last half of the second inning. The Giants starting with McCuvey's
- 38:56Davenport and Henderson against Fodd Oceane. McCuvey 29-0 runs 77 runs batted in getting 3-25.
- 39:11McCuvey made the man shall was over the all star game to represent the Giants.
- 39:15The Dodgers will have only Bill Slinger.
- 39:20Now Oceane's got to go to work getting his fast and catcher Tommy Holler. The wind up and here's
- 39:24the pitch. Slinger is popped up on the left side. Will's calling for it. Also Sudeikas put
- 39:28his morey watching now and Laurie now makes the catch. Oceane finally went out to direct traffic
- 39:34as both Sudeikas and Will's are following the flight of the ball. So finally Oceane went out
- 39:38and called for Will's to handle it. So McCuvey pops up to shortstop for a Will's one away and
- 39:43Jimmy Davenport's about it. This is kind of away from the pattern usually set by Oceane.
- 39:50All of the outings kept the strike out of them on ball, hit and air. Usually Oceane has a lot of
- 39:56ground out. There's a fixed at Avenport for strike 0-1. So now we've had two pop-ups down to five
- 40:01balls. Actually Huckball was a five ball in the right center. Curve is a little low to
- 40:08Davenport 1-1. Jim has had some key hits in this series. Getting 2-69 with two home runs and 27 runs
- 40:14batted in. Veteran third baseman Jimmy Davenport now the wind up and the 1-1-6. Curve high outside
- 40:21ball two, two and one. The game is in the second and it is three to nothing as the Dodgers leave.
- 40:28Set nine men up in the first inning and got three of them home.
- 40:33Fourth game of the series the Dodgers trying to even it out. Now the 2-1-6. That's ball away
- 40:39ball three, three and one. Oceane as we mentioned earlier has had excellent control. He's walked
- 40:44only one batter and that was intentional in his last two strikes. It is three and one now the wind
- 40:52up and here's the pitch. High he walks. Davenport draws a walk. That brings up Kenny Henderson.
- 41:01Kennedy 2-21 will send around now back from the right side. He's a quick hitter. He had a home run
- 41:07yesterday to tie the game. The team of Davenport on base and the sixth man. He hit it off down.
- 41:25All right Henderson is bat one out one on. The Dodgers up a step or two.
- 41:29Double play that. Henderson has good speed normally but he's lifting nice and hurting a bit.
- 41:33Here's the pitch on the way inside the ball. One ball no strikes.
- 41:38Al Lanier is on deck and Bob Barton to follow.
- 41:47The Dodgers spray his chance within one game and the Reds not far back three away.
- 41:53Here's Oceane ready in the pitch.
- 41:55Down ball, off towards the start. Will there it goes through the bag. Goes the first easy double play.
- 41:59The Henderson last one to wills and more he took it himself and the Dodgers get the double play.
- 42:06So it is. Badry side with no run, no hit, no errors and done left on. The score of the
- 42:12end of the fooling supply. The Dodgers free and the Giants nothing. Still agree,
- 42:16it's the easternmost in quality and the westmost in flavor.
- 42:24So the third now was Jabelson Haller and Sadekis to face Terry.
- 42:27Gave Pringle to drive in around his first time up. Hit one between first and second base.
- 42:33Now Gave up the start of the third inning and Terry second time. Dodgers lead three to nothing.
- 42:38The score is three runs in the first inning on four hits and now Terry ready in the pitch on the way.
- 42:46Breaking ball for strike on one to Gave. Tom Haller on deck. The wind whipping across from
- 42:52left to right. Not too violent yet. That's going to be swirling at the moment. Now they wind up
- 42:59again by Terry in the pitch. Pine inside for ball and it is one and one. The Dodgers will be idle
- 43:04now after the day until Thursday when they go into Chicago to play the cup. Bill Singer to
- 43:08the open up against Chicago and airtime will be 11 cans for Thursday's game. Here's the one one
- 43:14six. Gave takes the strike on a change of feet. One and two.
- 43:25One ball and two strikes.
- 43:31In the ground ball to the right side. Hot on the outfield draft. I'll put it on one
- 43:34pound and so is then the first base and time. Nice play by Hunt going way out into the outfield.
- 43:39Hit that ball. The edge of the dirt can't hop the turn. So Gave is thrown out on a good play by
- 43:45round hunt. Here's Tommy Haller's bat. He hit one back to the middle for a base that first turn up.
- 43:52Here's the pitch on the way to Haller and it's in there a little loath of ball.
- 44:08One ball and no strike. They made an announcement about
- 44:12that game on the scoreboard. It was a bit worse than it was at the moment.
- 44:16One ball and no strike. Here's the pitch on the way to Haller.
- 44:22Last night they landed a curfew last Seattle and it played 17-16 minutes
- 44:30with a twin and Seattle all tied up at 7-7 so they're playing that off before they
- 44:34start their regular game today. Haller hit the ground ball. Backhanded by Hunt.
- 44:40Up with it. Nice play and time and Haller is up. Hunt goes through here and right that time.
- 44:45That's a going far to advance to get Campbellson. He comes back the other way to get Haller.
- 44:54The batter will be filled today to pursue out in the third inning.
- 44:59They played one inning of that game now and it's gone through 17-17. The scoreboard goes
- 45:04to the field side 7-7. Minnesota ends Seattle. But they played through the curfew last night.
- 45:10That's a quick hand. They've got to get over it in the day to finish it off before they play their regular game.
- 45:16All right today is a baddy walk. It's first time up. Perry rub drop of time.
- 45:20Now get 21-11. The curve is in the first strike. Perry who's started off right up safely.
- 45:25That's not the best to retire five minutes in a row since Will's opened up the second inning with a main pitch.
- 45:31The Gailor does a fine split. Our pitcher also closed out but now trying to square it away.
- 45:36Waking ball low and with one at one. That's nice one on that.
- 45:41That's a three run five this nor is on the dime. No run no hit no error.
- 45:45It's just balled open. Gailor Perry pitching the build today. Down to stump.
- 45:52Fyder for strike cannon is one and two.
- 45:54One and two.
- 46:04Today's silly way to hear the best.
- 46:08One on a nice strike three. High pass ball and down he goes.
- 46:12So today's a strike. Perry got the second strike. How does he really want to be now?
- 46:16No run no hit no error. None left on. And the score is in the food.
- 46:20The happening is what the final fire. Vargo has gone into the dugout.
- 46:24So we're waiting on him to come back. He's gone off.
- 46:29And he's talking to somebody. Right near the sand.
- 46:32And he's talking perhaps to a ground tour security police.
- 46:35One of the is now calling five thing out. So we have something going on down below here.
- 46:43And whatever it is. Vargo's explaining it to five things.
- 46:45And now he walks away and then comes back again to talk to five some more.
- 46:49It's a conversation. And we're still talking to her.
- 46:55The hosting meanwhile is warming up on the mound with Tom Haller and Vargo and King are still having a discussion.
- 47:01After Vargo comes to the corner of the backstop stream down to our right.
- 47:05To face something to another security police when our ground is still in there.
- 47:09Now whatever it is. Vargo backed away with his palms out.
- 47:15That's still talking to him as he walked away. So we don't know what that's all about.
- 47:19But Vargo I think is now going to go to the other side. He's looking for the Dodger bench.
- 47:23As he comes over to talk to the third base on fire.
- 47:25How about it. And whether he's going to make an explanation for Dodgers about what the seven was.
- 47:31He is not. And now the Dodgers somebody. Vargo is indicating that he'll tell the Dodger bench about it.
- 47:37Whatever it was. So we can find out that way.
- 47:41Vargo has thought to the giant bank but it's not of an urgent nature.
- 47:45So Vargo told the Dodger that he would give them the word at the end of the half inning.
- 47:51Here's one error now.
- 47:53Those teams deliver the fastball is high. One ball no strike.
- 47:55When they're a flick it are batting right now against those teams.
- 47:59How about in 243 with 20 runs batted in.
- 48:03Bob Barton is on deck and here's the picture on the way.
- 48:05But a ground ball hit just outside of third.
- 48:09The linear. This is an extra they hit by about a foot.
- 48:13It is just outside of third base.
- 48:15One ball one strike to the giant court stop. How linear.
- 48:29One on one.
- 48:33Now the pitch.
- 48:35Popped up in the short set of field.
- 48:37Coming on is the motor out of side more and side more makes the attack.
- 48:43So linear pops up the side more in short right set of field.
- 48:47One away and Bob Barton coming up.
- 48:51Only one ground ball pulled up by Osteen so far that turned out to be a double play ball hit by Kenny Henderson.
- 48:57Here's Barton 177 batting every giant court.
- 49:03The ball on the ground.
- 49:05He's leading pretty nothing and pitching well here in the third inning.
- 49:09One away wind up the trick.
- 49:11Lowered inside with the fastball.
- 49:13One ball no strike.
- 49:23The ground is one hop by Sudeikas.
- 49:29Good play by Bill.
- 49:31He kind of gave that one the Olay off to the left.
- 49:33Came up with him in the glove and put the cross apart.
- 49:37Throw away and here's Perry coming up.
- 49:39Keylor Perry. The pitcher.
- 49:43Keylor have 60 in 60 trips to the plate. That's an even 100 percent.
- 49:49One hundred average.
- 49:53He has one run batted in.
- 49:55So Keylor Perry right end of the turn.
- 49:57Up now against Osteen with two outs in the third inning.
- 50:01Odd set.
- 50:03Pointed from the sixth to Perry.
- 50:05A pop up ball.
- 50:07One ball no strike.
- 50:09It is one-oh.
- 50:13Osteen delivers that.
- 50:15A swing a long fly ball to the left center field.
- 50:19This one is well hit going in.
- 50:21Perry gets the whole run.
- 50:49Keylor Perry.
- 50:55He's coming up with a long home run.
- 50:57The left center field and Bobby Bond comes up now.
- 50:59So Perry who had only fixed it in 60 a bat.
- 51:03Hit the fly ball keeps the left center field. He really hit it.
- 51:07And the striker on the scoreboard on Perry's home run.
- 51:11Three to one now. And here's Osteen to Bond.
- 51:13Ball one.
- 51:15The wind up in the next six.
- 51:17Osteen drew the fast ball and Perry really drilled it.
- 51:25One ball and one strike.
- 51:27Bond's winning.
- 51:29So the giant is back to playing home run ball again.
- 51:33Here's the pitch.
- 51:35A par for Bond and it's two and one.
- 51:37That is the first home run of Perry's major league career.
- 51:45All right. Two and one count.
- 51:47Osteen delivers curve high ball three.
- 51:51That must have taken Osteen a bit.
- 51:53The home run ball to Perry the first time in a while.
- 51:57For Gaylord.
- 52:03A three to one count.
- 52:07All right.
- 52:09Bond's winning.
- 52:11Three and one with two outs.
- 52:13And the pitch on the way.
- 52:15Bond around the bunch takes outside ball four.
- 52:19He's done with a walk. That's the second walk for Osteen.
- 52:21The part of that great control now has walked two and two and two third innings.
- 52:25I feel that the home run to the opposite pitcher and now
- 52:29Ron Huston's up the five to center.
- 52:31And again Osteen as we've said usually likes to get all of most of the outs on ground ball.
- 52:39And that's two ground ball hit so far today.
- 52:43Here is Hunt with May's on deck.
- 52:45The giant can explode his slug.
- 52:47Now has a home run pop up from an unexpected source to pick her Gaylord Perry.
- 52:53And it goes. Here's Hallis-Trow down and it's on a bounce.
- 52:55Not in time Bond's fielding.
- 53:01Hallis-Trow bounce to five more and Bond's got his twenty-sixth goal in base.
- 53:07And now Hallis going to the mound to talk to Osteen and slow things down a little bit here.
- 53:15Bond was trailing along until Perry bombed one.
- 53:23That was the 12-4 run given up by Osteen in the 180 innings plus today's game.
- 53:31Now here's Ron Huston batting Bobby Bond on second base. Three to one Dodgers lead and remember that up to faces loaded in the first inning with one out.
- 53:41Now here's Osteen with a look and a pitch on the way. Hunt takes inside ball two. Two balls no strike.
- 53:49Final game of the series.
- 53:51Giant's last weekend one three out of four at Dodger Stadium.
- 54:01Hi Ron Huston.
- 54:04Waiting at the plate no at all. Curve in there for strikes two and one.
- 54:11Good spot on end today at Candlestick Park. Two balls and one strike.
- 54:22Turn one two out.
- 54:29And Osteen out of a strike once more. Here's the look. Here's the pitch.
- 54:33Inside low ball three.
- 54:35Three and one now. So he's gone behind the hunt at the walking bar. That's why the center field of the pick off play.
- 54:42Here's Bond. He's at the round start. He has come to the plate and he's scored.
- 54:50A pick off play went awry and the Giants have another run in. That is three to two.
- 54:57The throw went to center and Mota's return throw not in time.
- 55:15No one was covering and we'll see who the error is on. It's going to be charged against Osteen as the badges were currently covering the second base of Osteen World to throw.
- 55:24And here's how it's back now. Three one six. One and a five over. That goes to the fence.
- 55:31That's the catch right in front of the fence. And the inning is over.
- 55:35The Giants go two runs on one hit and one big error.
- 55:45The error is charged against Osteen although one was covering on the pick off play.
- 55:49The Giants play three and then Scully will be along with warplay by play.
- 55:54At the end of three it is Dodger's free and Giants two.
- 56:08Thank you, Jay. I'm finding a very pleasant Sunday too, you or ever you may be, as we go to the fourth inning.
- 56:14We're getting the Giants three to two. That will be said five more then for Osteen and Mori will.
- 56:21And Gaylord's Harry very much back in the ballgame. Right in to ready and delivers and the first one to strike.
- 56:27Harry is a completely different picture than the fellow we saw in the first inning.
- 56:32So it would be who the Dodgers now to really bear it out as Harry comes back with a pitch that's one on in this fight too.
- 56:39Dodger's the last six in a row. He has retired eight of the last nine.
- 56:44So Harry has certainly found himself and he's back on the beam.
- 56:49This is our backfights, Dodger.
- 56:53Dodger's led yesterday three to one but they were on the short end when it was all over.
- 56:57They led three to nothing today. Their lead is now three to two.
- 57:05The pitch decides Mori by three balls. Let's force the stationers on a vacation.
- 57:10This is the Los Angeles Dodgers radio network.
- 57:13The Big Bad.
- 57:19K-T-A-R-D.
- 57:25For Osteen the batter, by each to center the first inning the Dodgers had Harry draped on the rope,
- 57:30so they couldn't come up with a big load of chasers. Osteen swings and misses on one.
- 57:36Dodgers had three runs over. The base is loaded and one out.
- 57:41And Satecki leading up back of Harry.
- 57:43The size one popped out and Osteen's fly it out and the inning was over.
- 57:47And Harry has really become a picture since then.
- 57:51We're checking in the Dodger dugouts to try and find out what's been going on.
- 57:57There's totally a dark about it. Here's the one-one pitch on the way to Osteen.
- 58:01The ground ball wide at first. McCulloch's fastest, sees to Harry and dies.
- 58:06On the top of the third inning. After the third out.
- 58:10And the top of the third.
- 58:14Ed Vardell, the play-dump fire went to the grandstand railing and talked to a member of the San Francisco Police Department.
- 58:21He in turn talked to Clyde King.
- 58:23Then now, Farley, motions off and he wanted to talk to him at the end of the third inning and he did.
- 58:28We have just put in a call to the Dodgers again to find out what's been going on.
- 58:48Two down. Here in the fourth inning, with the Dodgers leading the Giants three to two.
- 58:52The fifth to world in the game. Or one, one and all.
- 58:57Clyde's Sunday crowd here at Candle Six five.
- 59:04Now Farley into the wind up and the one-old pitch on the way is about to the McCovey and that's where he goes to bed.
- 59:10To the end of three and a half innings.
- 59:12It is Dodgers three, Giants two.
- 59:27Bottom of the fourth inning with the Dodgers leading the Giants three to two.
- 59:30Three runs, five itch and one error from the Dodgers.
- 59:33Two runs, one hit for the Giants all run by G. Lloyd Perry.
- 59:38Willie May is Willie McCovey and Jimmy Savinford in that order.
- 59:45May has popped up in the first inning.
- 59:53Final score Atlanta, eight San Diego, ten to nothing.
- 1:00:00Osteen, soft curve, a strike going on.
- 1:00:03Pat Yard is the winner, beating Kirby in that.
- 1:00:06So the Braves, who were three percentage points from back of the Dodgers.
- 1:00:11Beat San Diego ten nothing today.
- 1:00:14Here's the strike one pitch to Willie May.
- 1:00:17Fastball fouled away after the right upstairs in the cattle and two.
- 1:00:22No balls and two strikes to May.
- 1:00:27Osteen into the wind up and the strike two pitch on the way inside of the ankle for one and two.
- 1:00:56Now the one two pitch on the way in the dirt again with a curve right at Willie's right foot.
- 1:01:01On deck Willie McCovey.
- 1:01:06Three runs, five itch and one error for the Dodgers.
- 1:01:09They did all the scoring in the first inning but since then the last nine in a row has been retired like Perry.
- 1:01:17Here's the two two pitch on the way.
- 1:01:19Same spot in the dirt at his right foot.
- 1:01:22This time May has asked Roger to look at the ball and three consecutive pitches in the dirt.
- 1:01:32Osteen had it all in two to May and he's now gone all the way.
- 1:01:43Three two pitch to Willie.
- 1:01:53A point to be brought up about Osteen.
- 1:01:57He has made 23 starts here and he has not walked more than three batters in any one of those 23 strikes.
- 1:02:05Let's walk him into Willie May's as he's third today in the only in the fourth inning.
- 1:02:11And here is Willie.
- 1:02:39Big curve ball to Willie is high inside for one and for the first three and now up to it is the dirt.
- 1:02:45Parker has to take it down.
- 1:02:47Three two Dodgers.
- 1:02:49We're in the bottom of the fourth inning.
- 1:02:51May has just walked and McCovey waiting one ball and no strikes.
- 1:02:57Osteen handed his side.
- 1:02:59Now set up the belt.
- 1:03:01The one old pitch on the way.
- 1:03:03Curve one on and this.
- 1:03:05One and one.
- 1:03:07Osteen has to close himself together and get back up there again.
- 1:03:11Willie with 29 home runs.
- 1:03:13He had 77 runs battered in.
- 1:03:15He was the biggest both together and the National League all starting.
- 1:03:21Osteen ready.
- 1:03:23Back he comes fastball for a strike.
- 1:03:25And the count one and two.
- 1:03:27Down in the Dodger bullpen, Pete Mickelson begins to listen up.
- 1:03:35He's trying desperately to get a split up here.
- 1:03:41Osteen ready and other looks over at May.
- 1:03:43The pitch to McCovey is low in the dirt.
- 1:03:45All two.
- 1:03:47May is a well rested Willie.
- 1:03:49At first base, this is the first start of the two.
- 1:03:53That's all in four bases.
- 1:03:57Two and two.
- 1:03:59The count to Willie McCovey.
- 1:04:01Osteen straddling the rubber.
- 1:04:07Lodge one to Parker just to keep May near the bank.
- 1:04:11Aloy Perry at his first career home run in the big league.
- 1:04:15After that bond walked for two seconds
- 1:04:17Osteen tried to take involvement through it away.
- 1:04:19The second giant run.
- 1:04:21McCovey is trying to right field.
- 1:04:23McCovey is trying to right field.
- 1:04:51Well Osteen got a ball up and into McCovey and he hit it out
- 1:04:55over the right field fence.
- 1:04:57And the giant got past the Dodgers.
- 1:04:59That home run for McCovey is the ninth giant home run
- 1:05:04in the 14 series.
- 1:05:06There's a ground ball that's the big one.
- 1:05:08The glove goes to first for the out.
- 1:05:10But nine home runs in the 14, the Dodgers have hit but two.
- 1:05:15So the giants down three to nothing in the first inning
- 1:05:18are leading four to three.
- 1:05:20And the Dodgers really have their hands full now.
- 1:05:23Because Perry just looks tougher and tougher.
- 1:05:26Final score in the American League.
- 1:05:28Borscht is leading four to more 65.
- 1:05:30So full of play on.
- 1:05:35So Osteen having a bad time with control
- 1:05:38and he has really had to pay the bill.
- 1:05:43Well now giving up two home runs today is allowed 13.
- 1:05:47I would be second on the staff and bringers 14.
- 1:05:55Here's Ken Henderson with linear to follow.
- 1:05:59Kerr with right.
- 1:06:04Four runs on two hits for the giants.
- 1:06:07Three runs by this and one error for the Dodgers.
- 1:06:10We're in the bottom of the fourth.
- 1:06:13Osteen's next one is his foul off to the right of the plate.
- 1:06:16No play for Hallow of Barker.
- 1:06:19O and two to Henderson.
- 1:06:33Four and three in favor of the giants.
- 1:06:36We're in the bottom of the fourth.
- 1:06:38The Dodgers got three in the first inning.
- 1:06:40The giants got two in the third and they scored right here in the fourth.
- 1:06:45Osteen ready and delivers and gets the strike for number three
- 1:06:55and down goes Henderson.
- 1:06:57That's the second strikeout for Claude Osteen
- 1:07:00and brings up Hal and Ears.
- 1:07:11Hal and Ears popped out to side more in the third inning.
- 1:07:25He hits one and just got a feel for a base hit.
- 1:07:28Mota up where the ball and gets it back in.
- 1:07:30So two outs swing the ball and Ears and that'll bring us catch a bobbush.
- 1:07:34Atlanta won ten to nothing.
- 1:07:42If Atlanta wins and the Dodgers lose, Atlanta would go into third place.
- 1:07:47The Dodgers would be in second place, seven percentage points back.
- 1:07:53The giants would be in third place, one percentage point back of the Dodgers
- 1:07:58and eight back of the Braves.
- 1:08:00Now what a wild race the Western Division is having.
- 1:08:04Here's Bob Bison, the round of the third in the third inning.
- 1:08:12Osteen at the bell, looks at linear, draws a throw and gets back.
- 1:08:20Four to three, his favorite of the giants were in the bottom of the fourth.
- 1:08:25Osteen at the bell, Claude Ruddy delivers and misses in five.
- 1:08:31Keith Mickelson has stopped scoring in the Dodger bullman.
- 1:08:39One ball and no sight to Bob Bison.
- 1:08:53Osteen ready, Claude comes back with a fastball bonnet up on third base.
- 1:08:58Right at the bed, no play for the giants.
- 1:09:13So Bob Bison runs for a base turn and the batter will be Gaylord Terry.
- 1:09:28Gaylord Terry, it is first and only Major League All-Run in the third inning.
- 1:09:34And that seems to wake up the giants, they have come from behind and now lead four to three.
- 1:09:41Two outs, Terry finds one at the first and second. Osteen delivers, curveball,
- 1:09:45his foul, outside of third to Osteen Virgil and the count-0 and one.
- 1:09:54Four runs, four hits for the giants, three runs, five hits for the Dodgers.
- 1:09:59The difference, and we've seen that difference all through the series.
- 1:10:02Home run, four of the giants, they hit nine of them in the four games, the Dodgers have but two.
- 1:10:08Track one, fastball is low, one at one.
- 1:10:21Gaylord Terry, one ball and one strike.
- 1:10:28Osteen at the belt, checks the runners and the one-one fifth, breaking ball over, right two, one and two.
- 1:10:37Osteen again, leading Hallard. Not far to a stretch, runners take their lead and the one-two-thick, fastball low, goes through.
- 1:10:57When the Dodgers hit in the fifth inning, they have Motoclawford and Barker.
- 1:11:12Two and two, the giants to Gaylord Terry.
- 1:11:20Osteen left but on the rubber, now Flauard ready.
- 1:11:23Laniro second base, Barker first, two outs, two, two, fifth, low ball free.
- 1:11:29Osteen is having his worst day of the year as far as control is concerned.
- 1:11:39He got all the way with two outs to Terry so the runners will be going.
- 1:11:45On deck, Bobby Barnes.
- 1:11:54Osteen to a stretch, the runners go and the fifth, the Terry fouled away, off to the right, carrying deep in the lower deck.
- 1:12:04It was certainly a fear that we had the largest crowd of the series.
- 1:12:08We had 26,000 and two of the teams, but we could do much better than that today.
- 1:12:20So freeing through to Gaylord Terry.
- 1:12:24Osteen ready, the runners go and the fifth is another up along third, the ball low, Osteen has to hurry and get him.
- 1:12:34So Gaylord Terry is nip to first base, the giants get two runners, three here, two left, at the end of four,
- 1:12:43the giants four, dodgers three.
- 1:12:45The defending Manny Motta, will he for a bird and west parker in that order?
- 1:12:53Motta, triple to right to drive in with Osteen, on a basis like Gabriel said in the first inning,
- 1:12:59but that's when the Dodgers were swinging easy against Terry, it's the other way around now.
- 1:13:04Terry has retired the last nine in a row, eleven of the last twelve.
- 1:13:11So Motta one for two, the Giants are fifth inning, four to three giants, Dodgers score three in the first inning,
- 1:13:19the Giants got two in the third and two in the fourth to take the lead.
- 1:13:23Terry looks in to get a sign, Motta winning, Gaylord ready and delivers and the first one is five, oh one.
- 1:13:32One and all the counts.
- 1:13:39Terry's one o-pitch on the way, it's Pompinier bow down the line,
- 1:13:43the cubby after it in the bullpen along with Bond, but it goes into the lower deck out of play
- 1:13:48and bounces back out onto the field and the count one and one.
- 1:14:02One and one to Manny Motta.
- 1:14:15Gaylord Terry right foot on the rubber checking sign, float away.
- 1:14:19Here's the one one-pitch on the way, bounce and backhanded and fouls round by Davenport.
- 1:14:33Motta fouls it off and the count one and two.
- 1:14:45One and two to Motta, four to three giants, we're in the fifth inning, nobody else.
- 1:14:50Gaylord Terry reading box button, right hander ready and delivers and it's his foul or first lead out of play.
- 1:14:57Motta still there, one and two.
- 1:15:15Now the one two-pitch on the way, Terry's fouled off again.
- 1:15:19This one carries to the top row of the second deck and spills down below.
- 1:15:24So Manny Motta fouling them off and the count one and two.
- 1:15:28Far as scores are on the games, we can sit you in quickly.
- 1:15:32Montréal beat the Mets three, two and a first game, the Mets leads two nothing at the end of two and a half in the second.
- 1:15:36The Cubs beat Philadelphia one to nothing, the Cubs leads Philadelphia five, one at the end of six in the night gap.
- 1:15:42Motta hits the ground ball of linear, foul glove, fires get in.
- 1:15:49Gilles Spitzberg, close phone, rain.
- 1:15:54At Latterby's San Diego ten to nothing, Houston Cincinnati double headers, close phone, rain.
- 1:15:57American League, California leading over in two to nothing through five in the first game.
- 1:16:03In a suspended game last night, Minnesota and Seattle played 15 innings and it was curtailed because of the curfew.
- 1:16:13The problem is the ground ball to hunt for him out. So they picked it up today and they were in the 18th.
- 1:16:19And in the 18th, Minnesota just scored four times and that would put them out in front 11 to 7 in the bottom of the 18th.
- 1:16:32Kansas City has eight and Chicago six in the bottom of the ninth at Chicago in their first game.
- 1:16:39Detroit beat Cleveland three to in the first game, Detroit leads Cleveland three nothing at the end of two and a half innings of the second game.
- 1:16:47Here's West Fockers, he takes four one.
- 1:16:51Washington two and the Yankees two through ten innings and Boston beat Baltimore six to five.
- 1:17:02Perry's next pitch is outside, two and oh, boy he's getting south. He's tied 11 in a row since the single by wheels opening up the second inning.
- 1:17:14Gaylord two all pitch to Focker off speed and in there, two and one.
- 1:17:20Giant four down your three, two down to the finish.
- 1:17:26Perry into the wind up and the two one pitch, Focker way out in front of an off speed pitch, two and two.
- 1:17:42Now the two two pitch, Perry swings to the wind up and delivers another game perfect, like three calls and that'll do it.
- 1:17:50So Gaylord Perry is really on his game now and at the end of four and a half innings, Giant four dodges three.
- 1:18:00Bottom of the fifth inning, Giant's leading four to three.
- 1:18:04Braun Hoseen getting ready to pitch to Bobby Barnes, Ron Hart and Willie Mays.
- 1:18:08This ballgame has taken a drastic change when it started off, Hoseen retired the first eight in a row while Gaylord Perry was having more time to settle.
- 1:18:19The Dodgers got to number three in the first inning and the Becky was leading up back home and suddenly Perry has turned around and he has retired 14 in the last 50 and 12 in a row and it is Hoseen who's having all kinds of problems.
- 1:18:35Braun pitched to Bobby Barnes, down his bow, outside of third and count on one.
- 1:18:49Barnes struck out and walked.
- 1:18:56But up on top standing just back of the rubber, Tommy Hallowig wagging time down to him and Hoseen ready to take it right at the bag.
- 1:19:05Strike one pitch to Barnes, fast fall overs, like two, oh and two.
- 1:19:15All-star game on Tuesday so after today, both leagues will be quiet as far as their own league plays concerned until Thursday, pitch inside one and two.
- 1:19:26The Dodgers will pick up and go after the coach Thursday.
- 1:19:32One more time with the 11-10, game time 11-30 Thursday.
- 1:19:36Barnes chases one up around the eyes and strikes down. So Bobby strikes down for the second time, one away and Braun hunts the batter.
- 1:19:53Hoseen his third strike down. Braun hunts by the center fly to left, he's open to.
- 1:20:09Barnes right hand batter and Hoseen ready to come to him, starts him with a breaking ball but it's a little high on outside, ball one.
- 1:20:24Final score that suspended game of last night is over, it's for 18-8 and Minnesota beats Seattle 11-7. Seattle had 20 hits in losing.
- 1:20:28Hoseen one foul into the Dodger bullpen. Winning pitch of Perry, that's Keylor's brother Jim, yelling at the losers.
- 1:20:44By the way, the official time of that game, are you ready? Five hours and 41 minutes.
- 1:20:51Here's the one-one pitch, curve, line drive, foul down in the bullpen.
- 1:20:57Johnny's third in retrieving it, one and two.
- 1:21:15Hoseen to the run-hunt. Four to three, in favor of the Giants, bottom of the fifth inning, one out, bases empty. Willie May is on deck. Hoseen's fastball fouled away, down to Icy Mercule.
- 1:21:39Hoseen's standing back to the rubber. Now it's their breaking ball, it's hit to wills.
- 1:21:47Mory gloves it, straightens up and throws him out. Two down, May's coming up like fours for the Stationers on a big game. Mr. Los Angeles Dodgers radio network.
- 1:22:11Here's Willie May. Hoseen ready in the fastball at strike, and May's back to lay.
- 1:22:18One and one. When May's both Mel Ostrichers and became the greatest home run hitter in national history, he did it here against those things. He takes high. One and one.
- 1:22:42One-fifth in 5-4-2. So Willie now has 596 home runs in his career. 5-96.
- 1:22:56Two and one to May. Hoseen into his wind-up in the fifth to Willie. Low and low, ball three. On deck the other Willie McCully.
- 1:23:11And May's other Giants were in the bottom of the fifth inning. Four runs, four hits. But I just three runs five hits. Fastball is it over and around. Hold it second and in the center field.
- 1:23:24The May's single in here is McCully. McCully got a fifth up and in and hit it out. Members back in the fourth inning was May's record. And it gave the Giants the lead they personally enjoyed. Four-three.
- 1:23:43In the second inning McCully popped up. Have a modified shift on. Dive more on the grass and will. Not quite the little most behind second base.
- 1:23:56McCully waiting. And Osteen delivers in the dirt. One handed by Haller. One ball and Ostrich.
- 1:24:06The Willie McCully marking and shouter and baseball recreating association has gathered in right field. He's just 30 this year.
- 1:24:16Now the one-old pitch on the way to McCully. Osteen delivers. May's, high source first.
- 1:24:45Willie is stolen four bases this year. He's in thought twice. The two-old pitch to McCully is low. All three.
- 1:24:55Osteen had him one and two. He had gotten him on a good curve and then a fastball looking for strike two. And then he tried to come up and inside but didn't get it up and didn't get it in and out. And McCully hit it out by 20.
- 1:25:09Willie of course swinging three and all. He likes to pitch without a doubt. Osteen delivers. He takes it on the edge for a strike. He's running it twice three and all in the series.
- 1:25:19He's single to center once three and all. And he fouled out once on a three-old pitch. Now the captain in one.
- 1:25:29Osteen another look at May's. The pitch to McCully and other strikes ran through.
- 1:25:44That base hit by May's is a rather historic one in his career. He is now tied with Zach Wheat for a 16th place on the all-time list. Serve is one on in this strike three.
- 1:26:01Four strikes out to Osteen. No run to hit a man left in the five. Time four, Dodgers three.
- 1:26:15Here are the six winnings. Here are Candle six-fights. Four to three in favor of the Giants. They have four runs, five hits and no errors.

- 2:08:43Don drives out of getting him from working the Dodger bullpen.
- 2:08:50It goes high for a ball in the count.
- 2:08:53Going through now to La Mer.
- 2:09:01Two balls and two strikes.
- 2:09:03Jim Brewer ready delivers.
- 2:09:05A five for a ball in the count goes three and two.
- 2:09:16Three balls and two strikes with one out.
- 2:09:22Brewer delivers.
- 2:09:23Good ball.
- 2:09:24A bouncing ball wide and third and in the hole.
- 2:09:26The left-footer, they hit.
- 2:09:28La Mer is on bouncing one just between the Dacus and Wells.
- 2:09:31A fling to the left.
- 2:09:33And it rings up by Barton.
- 2:09:36Barton has a bump single back in the fourth inning.
- 2:09:44So La Mer grounds a single left field.
- 2:09:55Now they're looking to pitch.
- 2:09:57Barton takes them shots for a ball, one ball, no strike.
- 2:10:00Osteen works seven and two-thirds, a lob, five runs and they hit.
- 2:10:03Brewer has a lob, one hit.
- 2:10:05He's on to working the seventh inning.
- 2:10:08After doubles by Hunter May,
- 2:10:10Hunter going in to slip the foul away.
- 2:10:15So the count to Barton goes to one and one.
- 2:10:19The Dodgers do not come back to Candlestick Park until September.
- 2:10:28They're looking for a second.
- 2:10:30One hit and twenty-first.
- 2:10:35One ball, one strike, one out.
- 2:10:37Runner on his first base on the last half of the evening.
- 2:10:40Brewer throws the first base out in time to get them here.
- 2:10:51Barton backs out and the Brewer sets a pitch.
- 2:11:01Now they can't have throw the first base out in time.
- 2:11:11One ball, one strike, one out.
- 2:11:15They're looking to pitch inside to Barton ball two, two and one.
- 2:11:29Two balls and a strike.
- 2:11:31Banner on first base and Brewer working to catch up to Barton and the pitch on the way.
- 2:11:35Fly ball into left center field.
- 2:11:37Boter who is in right center has to come fast and can't get it.
- 2:11:40The ball bounces by.
- 2:11:42Heading for third, around third, headed for the plate, a high relay throw, and the plate's not in time.
- 2:11:47The ball bounces away from Aller, away from Roar, and the third base goes Barton.
- 2:11:52The Dodgers lead six to three and the Dodgers have a tough time handling that ball and then made a poor relay.
- 2:11:59Barton doubles as Boter who is playing in right center can't come back to the left center and couldn't get through the ball.
- 2:12:06The nearest door, then when the throw in gets away, Barton winds up at third base, it is six to three, the chance leads.
- 2:12:15It is an error on side one who's throw, got away at the plate.
- 2:12:20So, five more handled the relay throw which was thrown by Crawford over Will's and backed up by side one.
- 2:12:26So, the Dodgers misplayed that one.
- 2:12:29And now Terry will be the batter with a runner at third base, one out and Terry up now, the Dodgers bring the end field up.
- 2:12:39Here's Brewer's windup and pitch on the lay.
- 2:12:41One on and miss, strike one.
- 2:12:43So Barton doubles to get a run batter down.
- 2:12:46The Giants now have pulled off to a free run lead.
- 2:12:52The Dodgers haven't played this game too sharply today.
- 2:12:57Now the look stand, the O-1 pitch, popped up foul out of play and it is strike two.
- 2:13:04The game on Terry with Bobby Bond gone back.
- 2:13:07Ringled by LaNere through the left side and then the double bank.
- 2:13:12But, man he would have almost backhanded the ball if he had to come way back into left center field to catch it.
- 2:13:18And he got under each glove as he made a dive at it and Willie Crawford took the difference through high over Will's and then the sidemort relay was high.
- 2:13:25Plenty of a miss on a screwball and Terry strikes out.
- 2:13:28Two out, two strikeouts and the batter now will be Bobby Bond and Terry gets a hand as he goes back toward the dugout.
- 2:13:35Bond's a hit by a pitch ball on the left elbow.
- 2:13:55So Bond's hit by a pitch, Rose is helmet down and is saying something to,
- 2:14:01he looked like he was facing something to Brewer and Bond's landed his helmet down and looking out toward Brewer,
- 2:14:06I don't know what he's saying or not but he was a little upset.
- 2:14:09Still planting over there as he walked towards first place in Will's now,
- 2:14:12and Stan talked to Brewer as Bond's is smoked on the left elbow by Brewer's breaking pitch.
- 2:14:22So Brewer, it's Bond's around the left elbow.
- 2:14:26Ron Hunt will be the batter, runners at first and third now for the Giants here in the eighth inning.
- 2:14:31And Leo Hughes the trainer, Clyde King the manager out looking at Bond's in his arm as he stands at first base.
- 2:14:37I King talking to Bond.
- 2:14:43Bobby was a little upset at Brewer I believe, he looked out there and I don't know what he said in the ring but he kept looking.
- 2:14:52Alright, Hunt goes back and now Ron, who was at home playing went back to the dugout and now comes walking back toward the plate.
- 2:15:00Maze on deck. The last half of the evening at a 6-3 the Giants lead.
- 2:15:12So Bond's on hit by a pitch ball.
- 2:15:17And here's Hunt at bat, he doubled with two out of the seventh inning and then came home on Maze double.
- 2:15:23So Brewer working here in the eighth inning.
- 2:15:25I run in and two men on base.
- 2:15:28Giants six, Dodgers three.
- 2:15:33Alright, Brewer working to Hunt.
- 2:15:35He's right in on top of the plate, pitch on the way.
- 2:15:37Bond run a missed it, two balls strike one.
- 2:15:48Oh and one is the reading.
- 2:15:53Now the pitch, runner going foul out of play.
- 2:15:57Strike two.
- 2:16:07Bond's coming back to first base now.
- 2:16:09Strike two count.
- 2:16:13Ball game in the bottom of the eighth inning here at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.
- 2:16:24Oh and two.
- 2:16:30Now again Brewer ready in the pitch to Hunt.
- 2:16:33Slow inside with a curve and he had to jump over it. One ball, two strikes.
- 2:16:46One and two counts.
- 2:16:52And the ball is going to survive for a ball in the count to a two and two.
- 2:17:07Alright it is a two, two count as Brewer pitches in Hunt, Bond's going and a two to center field.
- 2:17:14Right through five more, Blake, in comes Martin the score and Bond takes third.
- 2:17:19And Haller's throw on a bounce went through five more and on to the center field.
- 2:17:25So Bond steals the base to second and Haller draws an error and it allows the run to come in.
- 2:17:32So the Dodgers are really playing it loose today now and have given the chance to seven to three lead.
- 2:17:38Nolan base for Bond's second and the error allows Barton to score as Haller threw through to second base.
- 2:17:46Now to get Bond going, Barton was not moving off third until the ball got under five more and bounce gone through into center field.
- 2:17:54Hips down and a tie, ball four he walks.
- 2:17:58So Brewer is struggling here in the eighties.
- 2:18:01Well the Dodgers are coming up to the outside break in the way it's been going in the last community and needs a rest a little bit.
- 2:18:07And there's an on-pick finish to this ball game in this series.
- 2:18:16Here's what he made with that.
- 2:18:20And the pick to lead, ball one.
- 2:18:30Two men on, two runs in, Giant's seven Dodgers three, Brewer six, Nolan and now ball to third.
- 2:18:37Will's up with a down to second in time and the side is retired.
- 2:18:40But the Giant's had two more on two hits, two errors and had two left.
- 2:18:47So the score threw seven of the happenings a play.
- 2:18:50The Giant's seven and the Dodgers have three.
- 2:18:53Needless to say baseball is a point you stay there.
- 2:18:59Hi, let's pause for station identification.
- 2:19:04This is the Los Angeles Dodgers radio network.
- 2:19:08The Good Side.
- 2:19:14T-P-A-R-C.
- 2:19:19All right, to the ninth inning and Tom Haller will cut it off in a seventh to three ball game.
- 2:19:23Now it's game or three after the first inning has settled down and six by the ball game in the Giant.
- 2:19:28Has come from behind and now well out in front seven to three as Haller waits.
- 2:19:34Ball ball right back to the screen strike one.
- 2:19:37Final score the Shubs beat the Phillies six to one to sweep a double header.
- 2:19:41Selba the winner and champion the losers.
- 2:19:45Meanwhile the Mets lost the first game of a double header and they're winning the second game two to one in the eighth at Montreal.
- 2:19:51Haller fouls it away strike two, 0-1 to the count.
- 2:19:57Now the 0-2 pick.
- 2:20:10Haller hit the pop foul on Thursdays it'll carry out a play.
- 2:20:18But it still strikes through the count Haller as we play now in the ninth inning.
- 2:20:24Haller, Sadekis and Seismore.
- 2:20:30The Giants were one on the seventh and two in the eighth that's when they had two in the third and two in the fourth.
- 2:20:35Dodgers got three in the first inning.
- 2:20:41We're in the ninth now Haller waiting to carry six off speed outside.
- 2:20:45One ball and two strikes.
- 2:20:47Haller in the first inning had a base hit to drive in a run and drive it out twice.
- 2:20:55One ball and two strikes to count.
- 2:20:59Now Terry ready and they picked on the way.
- 2:21:01Haller takes again ball two, two and two.
- 2:21:05Final game with a four game series here at Candlestick.
- 2:21:07Dodgers stand two and three before today in Candlestick and four and seven with the Giants on the year.
- 2:21:15The Giants took three out of four last weekend trying to do the same thing this weekend.
- 2:21:18Ball three to Haller.
- 2:21:20Three and two.
- 2:21:23Dodgers got down four to three and then gave up an easy run in the seventh inning.
- 2:21:28One of those two doubles with two out then two easy runs on the eighth of the Giants.
- 2:21:31Clown to the left.
- 2:21:32Haller down on strike.
- 2:21:34But Terry gets his sixth strikeout.
- 2:21:39And Bill Sadekis will be the batter.
- 2:21:41He's walked struckout and sounded out.
- 2:21:52Sadekis coming up.
- 2:21:58It's on the way to Bill.
- 2:21:59There's over first strike, 0-1.
- 2:22:01A lot of the folks now are fighting for the acres here at Candlestick.
- 2:22:05Nothing in one to count.
- 2:22:12Sadekis now backs out the dust swirling around at home plate.
- 2:22:190-1 is to count.
- 2:22:23A swing and a miss.
- 2:22:28Strike two to Bill Sadekis.
- 2:22:34Now the pitch on the way.
- 2:22:36Billy has to follow back upstairs.
- 2:22:52Now Terry to the windup man is picked out away.
- 2:22:56Bill strikes two.
- 2:23:01Nothing in two to count.
- 2:23:03Bill Sadekis waiting.
- 2:23:07Terry into the windup man to pitch to Bill.
- 2:23:09Follow back over the screen and the count stays strike two.
- 2:23:13Terry yielded three runs in the first inning.
- 2:23:16And that is all the Dodgers are able to create for up.
- 2:23:19They've had only two hits since the first.
- 2:23:21One of those came in the second, one of the eighth.
- 2:23:24Now the windup man to pitch on the way.
- 2:23:27Popped up on the first base side.
- 2:23:29Down the line comes McCuffey.
- 2:23:31He's the top.
- 2:23:33Cool way now for them to pop up to McCuffey.
- 2:23:36Teddy's side more at that.
- 2:23:38Slide out, struck out, fouled out.
- 2:23:43Two down in the ninth inning.
- 2:23:53And Gaylord Terry just separate two away from his fourth win.
- 2:23:57That depends on the eighth loss on Oceania.
- 2:24:02All right.
- 2:24:04Side more in there.
- 2:24:09Now the pitch to dead.
- 2:24:11Strikes on a fastball on one.
- 2:24:16Gaylord Terry who's headed the bat in the scoring column with a homerun.
- 2:24:22Now pitching to side more.
- 2:24:24One and one.
- 2:24:27Jimmy LaFleur out on deck, the bat for Brewer.
- 2:24:35Good.
- 2:24:36Side more keeping alive.
- 2:24:38One, one pitch.
- 2:24:39Foul, back out of play.
- 2:24:41There's strike two.
- 2:24:42One and two.
- 2:24:51One ball and two strikes to side more.
- 2:24:56Now the pitch on the way.
- 2:24:57Down ball to the right side near second.
- 2:24:59Hunt there, good prep man.
- 2:25:01The ball's under the goal.
- 2:25:02The bat is in the corner.
- 2:25:03Two out of golf.
- 2:25:04The bat is in the corner.
- 2:25:05The bat with the final totals in a moment right after the message.
- 2:25:10Two, one, zero.
- 2:25:14Vacation.
- 2:25:17Lift off.
- 2:25:19These guys are careful about where they are.
- 2:25:22It's their job to take every center that's approaching.
- 2:25:25One point eight feet.
- 2:25:28Eight feet or so in camera, and the off-side is goal.
- 2:25:32Why take chances?
- 2:25:33You don't have to.
- 2:25:35Yet that's what you're doing every day you don't know chances.
- 2:25:38Warning system.
- 2:25:39The off-side is okay.
- 2:25:41Like horsemen for a car.
- 2:25:43Like a lump for a thickening in the body.
- 2:25:46Or a change in a wart or mole.
- 2:25:49Or indigestion or difficulty in swallowing.
- 2:25:53It makes sense to know cancer's seven warning signals.
- 2:25:57The light is turning.
- 2:25:59Fast up is recording.
- 2:26:00For a free list of the warning signals,
- 2:26:02contact your American cancer society.
- 2:26:05I'm going to be a light-hearted re-adaptant.
- 2:26:14Here at Candle Street Park, the crowd-filing out the fourth game of the series is over in the garage of 1-7-3.
- 2:26:20Seven runs, 10 hits, and two errors for San Francisco.
- 2:26:23Three runs, six hits, and three errors for the Dodgers.
- 2:26:26The Dodgers scored three runs in the first inning, and then G. Larkerry turned it around and blanked the Dodgers the rest of the way on just two hits.
- 2:26:34Meanwhile, the Dodgers picked up two runs in the third inning, two more in the fourth inning, one in the seventh,
- 2:26:39and two more in the eighth inning to wrap it up with the final score of 7-3.
- 2:26:44For Perry, the winner, he now has the record of 12-7, and for Osteen, the loser, he now goes to a 12-8 record.
- 2:26:50As we come to the All-Star break, the Atlanta Braves are in first place by one game over the Dodgers,
- 2:26:55who are one percentage point over the Giants.
- 2:26:58So that's quite a race that we have going now.
- 2:27:00Once again, the final score of the game, the Giants seven, the Dodgers three.
- 2:27:04Now, this is Jerry Doggett for Vince Scully inviting you to stay tuned for the post-game show coming right up.

- 2:27:42Music
- 2:27:52This is Gary Merrill.
- 2:27:54You can close your eyes and get some idea of what it's like to be brined.
- 2:27:58You can cover your ears and enter for a moment the silent world of the death.
- 2:28:02But it would take more imagination than most of us possess to know how it feels to have cerebral palsy.
- 2:28:07Gutteral speech, it's there, and most people can't understand what you're trying to say.
- 2:28:12A lopsided walk, a grin that you can't control, a twitching of the hands and arms that you wish you could stop.
- 2:28:19This is what it's like to have cerebral palsy, and all because of an injury to the brain, one that occurred before birth or during it.
- 2:28:27And inside, there's a person wanting to be heard, to be understood.
- 2:28:31This is me, I'm somebody. I like to read, I want to learn.
- 2:28:35Don't look at the shell, try to reach me.
- 2:28:38The mother, the father, they understand, but they need you.
- 2:28:42Think about it this way. You help the whole family when you give the United Cerebral Palsy.
- 2:28:48The good fun, the C-T-A-L-S-T.
- 2:29:09The country's host game show brought to you by 21 West.
- 2:29:12The lessons were sportsmen meet, just a drive-up, sent through the 21 West Asporn, and by your local Arizona Toyota dealers.
- 2:29:19Being driven for America's lowest price tags up, the Toyota Carolina.
- 2:29:23Get your hands on a Toyota, and you'll live a legend.
- 2:29:49The United Adidas were welcomed in the all-star place. It had come at just about the right time for them.
- 2:29:54They had not been playing good baseball up late. Some of their defeats lately have been on the bad side,
- 2:29:59where they have squandered leads and laid in the game.
- 2:30:02You might remember that they've scored seven times to keep John Wilson in Houston, led seven to two, and yes, they lost that game 10 to seven.
- 2:30:10In the second to first game of the series here at Candlestick, the Dodgers were leading 13 to 11, very late in the ball game, if they lost that game 14 to 13.
- 2:30:19They led yesterday three to one, the Giants came from behind to beat them, the Dodgers led three to nothing today, and the Giants came from behind to beat them.
- 2:30:28So the ball clubs could use some time off, and fortunately for them that's exactly what they thought.
- 2:30:33They don't play again until Thursday against the Chicago club when they open up, and it looks like Bill Singer will start that.
- 2:30:39For the Dodgers today they got three runs in the first inning.
- 2:30:41K-Lord's very was on the road, the second was warming up in the bullpen.
- 2:30:45Meanwhile, two Americans had landed on the moon, and after that exciting first inning, and those exciting reports from Apollo 11,
- 2:30:52by the Dodgers were not hurt from again, and it was all Giants.
- 2:30:55First, Harry hit a home run, Bonds walked, those teams had to take him off and threw it away for the second run,
- 2:31:01for Gubby hit a two run home run, they added a fifth run and then two more, and the eighth inning to win handily, seven to three.
- 2:31:08The Giants are now on eight out of twelve from the Dodgers.
- 2:31:11They have won four of sixth place here at Candle Six.
- 2:31:14The Braves won their game handily against San Diego, they beat the Padres 10 to nothing.
- 2:31:19So at this halfway point, although it's really more than that as far as games play, but at the Old Star break, the Braves are in first place.
- 2:31:26The Dodgers are in second place, swimming by a game, and they are percentage points ahead of the third place Giants.
- 2:31:32So it looks like it's a tremendous finish in the Western Division of the National League, and we'll be looking forward to seeing you
- 2:31:38when the Dodgers open up their home stand on the beginning August 7th.
- 2:31:42Look at who I guess, Mr. Gain Lord Terry from North Carolina, and Gerry will be chatting with him on a big day right after this message.
- 2:31:49The Gila side to the 1969 may go all the way.
- 2:31:52There's a brand new ball game in Phoenix in 1962, at least when it comes to buying diamonds.

- 2:32:38So come on in, noon time, toddy time, or dinner time.
- 2:32:42Come to 21 West, 21 West Osborne, get the drag bus off federal.
- 2:32:48Thank you very much, that'll get you a lot of first of all, I don't know what you want to talk about, 15 or hitting, do you have a choice?
- 2:32:55Well, it takes about seven years before you get to perfectly home run. Let's talk about it a minute.
- 2:33:00I had it and turned the win around at left side. It kind of surprised me that I hit it as well, but I was looking for the fast ball,
- 2:33:07I got it where it is the only place I can hit it is up.
- 2:33:10They don't fit the country boy high, that's where he fits.
- 2:33:13You've been playing in those cornfields for a long time, you've got to throw a few of them I guess.
- 2:33:18Yes I did. I first started out being a third baseman, I hit the ball well, then I got in half through and my brother was pitching,
- 2:33:26and Denise and Helm were getting to play out, I used to throw the ball hard to first baseman,
- 2:33:31give me a try and I threw the ball hard and had some luck at it, so I stayed with pitching from then on and then they started throwing me to curve.
- 2:33:38I stayed with pitching.
- 2:33:40Let's find out a little bit more about the home run because it went out of here in the left center field,
- 2:33:44or it's most majored to all 375 or 380 where it went out and went over there pretty good.
- 2:33:48Yes it did and when the win was over it was kind of hard to hit them out of left,
- 2:33:52so that's why I was surprised that it went out there.
- 2:33:56I take it, like I said, it just goes over to the way out of the counter.
- 2:34:00You know when I left the bat, I had a feeling that it was going, it really looked like it.
- 2:34:03Didn't you have the same feeling?
- 2:34:04Well that's as hard as I can swing, but I didn't get enough of that when I wasn't going to hit one.
- 2:34:08What did you do? You kind of stopped it as my a little bit or just keep on dropping?
- 2:34:12You didn't practice that home run shot much?
- 2:34:14No, I just, you hit the ball good and I looked at it and it was pretty high and I was just hoping that the win wouldn't hold without boxing.
- 2:34:21And many of them, Maze, Head and Heart and Davenport, hit, have that way and the win just hold them up and the three-door catch and get the fence.
- 2:34:28I was just hoping he wouldn't catch it.
- 2:34:30Have you ever come close before?
- 2:34:32Yes, I've hit some and rigged the field against the fence and right, center, left, center, left.
- 2:34:36I never got the altitude that one guy.
- 2:34:39Your batting average was 100 when you hit that one. Are you putting it in your pitch or seriously?
- 2:34:44Well, a while ago, a couple of years ago, it started this year, it started out working, it started to hit the day before it's hit the golf course, and also the day after it's hit the golf course.
- 2:34:53It started to improve our hit and we had a terrible year of life for all of us.
- 2:34:56Yes.
- 2:34:57And Maze was very good at it, but he didn't have a good year of life here.
- 2:35:00We all were working at this and this is what it takes, like if you're a bad field and you work at field and you hang that curve ball, you've got to work on your curve ball.
- 2:35:09So he's given us the extra chance to hit this year and you know, that really gave us a little extra there.
- 2:35:13We were freezing up and I hit the home run and then we got another run that in, so it kind of stopped us.
- 2:35:18We've been playing good ball and everybody's been picking up the first right of the field.
- 2:35:21And they got this free run that in and I came in and Dave Marcus said, look, hold him right there.
- 2:35:26We're going to get him.
- 2:35:27That's what I was.
- 2:35:28You know, it looked like the home run, you just sit the Osteen a little bit because as you say, he came back and walked by him.
- 2:35:33He walked Maze and the next time he'd be pulling the other one.
- 2:35:35So I would think it would be a little distracting with him.
- 2:35:37I would say so, so pitch it like Osteen, you first tell him, get up the home run, I'm sure.
- 2:35:43I know I give a lot more home runs than he does and I would say this kind of maybe shook him up a little bit.
- 2:35:48He's not that type of person to give up the home run like that.
- 2:35:51We're visiting with Gaylord Fisher, the Fisher for the Giants.
- 2:35:54We'll have more about your scoreboard right after this message.
- 2:35:57And Dave's gone by the Ganges together after a game to hatch over the exciting moments they've just seen or heard.
- 2:36:02Have a cool drink, a fine meal and lots of good company.
- 2:36:05Well, the good old days made him gone, but today, sports still hold the same thrills and excitement.
- 2:36:10And there's still a place to go for good food and conversation.
- 2:36:1221 West, where the food is really a winner and the talk is all sports.
- 2:36:1621 West offering the very finest of steaks, prime ribs, spaghetti and chicken cattacuri.
- 2:36:21At 21 West, you get a complimentary decounter of Van Rosé with every Italian dinner.
- 2:36:26For daytime food fans, 21 West under a sandwich table fit for a king or a queen.
- 2:36:31Try to swim a west.
- 2:36:32A dollar forty-five cents is a meal in itself.
- 2:36:35Royal ground beef, sirp, ricotta, steaks, tomato, eggs and high-poiled eggs.
- 2:36:38Have luck to 21 West tomorrow and find out for yourself that truly good food does not have to strip your wallet fair.
- 2:36:44Eating entertainment, features, ruby glass and tall iron.
- 2:36:46Great music, good food, good company, pleasant surroundings and people who are just as important as you are.
- 2:36:5221 West, 21 West Osborn, got the drag bottle off that roll.
- 2:36:59Today at the Grands, beat the Dodgers, stubbornly the three winnings,
- 2:37:02but you're a gaylord, sir, as I guess.
- 2:37:04Well, gaylord, we're talking enough about hitting now, we're talking about pitching,
- 2:37:07because you really picked a great ball game, especially after you got out of the first inning.
- 2:37:10That first inning was very difficult for me, and I go back over and I have had terrible first and second in.
- 2:37:17I started last three years, last weekend at 50th Oaks, and even had to take a little supper.
- 2:37:22You might have thought I was going to take a little supper before I warmed up, warmed up 20 minutes,
- 2:37:26and really be ready for that first inning.
- 2:37:28I thought I was throwing the ball well that first inning, but they didn't hit the ball that hard,
- 2:37:32but they still count the pace of the hits and they count those three-year runs or her and that.
- 2:37:36After that, I think I started throwing them all a little butter, and my break and pitch, I mixed them in a lot better.
- 2:37:43And that's what you've got to do right here. You've got to pitch.
- 2:37:45Now that the umpires are left and alone here, I can give them a second.
- 2:37:48Concentrate on it and not be disturbed.
- 2:37:50Now let's point out about the umpires leaving you alone.
- 2:37:53They haven't said anything about the country's clicker for you to have that.
- 2:37:56No, it's not the last five or six. They haven't bothered me at all, and I'm very grateful for this.
- 2:38:02They didn't find anything when they were rousing out there.
- 2:38:06So I was very disturbed. One game, when Chris Fatterthoose just kept on with every inning,
- 2:38:12every inning, every time I'd walk out there to the mound and leave the mound, he was on me.
- 2:38:17I'm sure he didn't mean anything personal, but it did kind of disturb me there.
- 2:38:21I got beat that game, and we got a lot of runs. I think we got about six or seven runs. I should have won that game.
- 2:38:28Every time I started concentrating on how to hit it away, and he would come out and kind of messing up a little bit.
- 2:38:35You know the day you made a good play, and I think it might have been the turning point in the game after you got out of the first inning.
- 2:38:40Will's got a base hit that starts a second, and he's loaded stop one down off the plate, and you had to play it fair handed.
- 2:38:45And had you missed the loader, you might have been in some more trouble.
- 2:38:48Well, I was practicing that play a great deal. I take a lot of in-fields, I know some managers don't like little pictures that go out there,
- 2:38:55but I feel that some play doing one game, a play a game, I'm going to need that.
- 2:39:00And I was practicing that play a lot, and it came through for me today.
- 2:39:03Apparently you're a good-filling pitcher because on Will's ball now, you were right there on that,
- 2:39:07and no hesitation, boom, you start to double play.
- 2:39:10Yeah, we had to have that double play, but you recall the second base hit, Will's, I should have got that ball.
- 2:39:16So I hesitated, and it was too late.
- 2:39:19And the pitcher I remember, I believe it was Bobby Chance, left hand pitcher for the Cardinals, it would be a great deal.
- 2:39:25Oh yeah.
- 2:39:26I really admire him, and when you hesitate, I remember him saying it, and when you hesitate, you just can't get it.
- 2:39:34Gaylord, thank you very much for the visit, and congratulations on a big win.
- 2:39:37Thank you, Gary.
- 2:39:38You may have noticed from the date of this game and the comments from Vin and Jerry that this game took place earlier on the same day that our astronauts first landed on the moon with Apollo 11.
- 2:40:04The men have been on the moon now with Apollo 11 for $6, and a matter of minutes, we expect them to open their hatch on their limbs and arm strong to move out.
- 2:40:14They have said as soon as the decompression reaches where they will open their hatch, you will hear them counting down earlier as they count the quarry or decrease.
- 2:40:35There will only be a few moments away from the opening of the limb hatch.
- 2:40:44The arm strong will be the first man to leave the spacecraft, or when he's down in the doorway, and will follow down the ladder about 20 minutes after arm strong has landed to the moon in a second.
- 2:41:02What's the total amount in the cabin?
- 2:41:05Fourth pump.
- 2:41:20Even though they're getting close to bingo, that's right, while the cabin decompression, the cabin, or either in-suit pressure is taking over.
- 2:41:32They're actually doing it. And it's two hours and 40 minutes since extubricular activity has already begun, although they have not left the uber yet.
- 2:41:50The spacecraft has been set up to making control of the center to count down the time on which they could remain on this portable light support system.
- 2:42:02And that talk now goes three minutes 15 seconds.
- 2:42:05As you mentioned earlier, the EVA actually starts when they go internal on this portable light support system.
- 2:42:21They're going to move the modules in an almost vertical position so there could be not too much difficulty getting down that ladder. The real difficulty in maneuvering around and all these specialized spaces.
- 2:42:35Those are the acrobatics that Alistar was exposed to a few moments ago when he said the acrobatics were about to begin.
- 2:42:49And they were in the ground with one-sixth gravity.
- 2:42:57So far, the gravitational difference has caused no problems. In fact, the development of an arm-zone has said it found it's very easy to move around.
- 2:43:08I thought it was a real arm-zone. We have reported that. But he found it was only left to rubber.
- 2:43:13Only a few moments away from that, those historic words or whatever importance that may have to prosperity.
- 2:43:20But there's been a lot of speculation about what Mr. Armstrong might say when he's trying to put on the lunar crust.
- 2:43:27And that's, that should be answered pretty good.
- 2:43:35Somebody suggested he might say, Pakistan.
- 2:43:39There's been some iconic, uh, rapid-sale, five minutes of operation on the alarm.
- 2:43:45Armstrong's part of the life of the question that's been moving.
- 2:43:51Four-thousand of pounds per square ounce while ago.
- 2:43:54I would think that they are getting close to opening that.
- 2:43:56It's a long time to get on the way down, isn't it?
- 2:43:58Yeah.
- 2:44:00Those last few states of a pound per square inch are the toughest to get out.
- 2:44:05You have to get up and you kind of deep-slate a rubber life-wrap and get it into your automobile after you've been to the beach.
- 2:44:11You squeeze and you squeeze and you squeeze and that air still floats around in it.
- 2:44:15I don't have to get it all out because, uh, that vacuum outside, it'd be very difficult.
- 2:44:20Well, if they open it inside, it has to open backwards. Wow.
- 2:44:28And in fact, they'll use that pressure aspect to keep the, uh, any possible moon bug inside the space that they set up a pressure when they return to the ocean.
- 2:44:44And then, now, have been on their portable alarm support system for about six minutes.
- 2:44:51And have been on the surface of the moon for about $6.15.
- 2:44:57And they still in the lunar module. They have not yet opened the hatch.
- 2:45:01That should be coming up in a matter of minutes.
- 2:45:04In the background, a comment from Mission Control, as ground controllers,
- 2:45:09talked with the lunar module fliers, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Elvin.
- 2:45:15But once Neil Armstrong starts out of the hatch, you'll move out backwards feet first on his arms and knees,
- 2:45:23and actually crawl down this ladder. And as he takes a couple of steps down, what do you find out?
- 2:45:28I think they're open.
- 2:45:30Well, here we go.
- 2:45:32They're a little open now, he says.
- 2:45:43Wait a minute.
- 2:45:45Open my eyes. Do you hear what you're saying?
- 2:45:50Well, there's always a matter of facts about these historic moments from long distance to all of history.
- 2:46:02There's been nothing like it since the flying emerge from the sea, since the moving earth.
- 2:46:12It's very difficult to imagine what these men are right now. Very difficult.
- 2:46:24As I was saying, once he comes through the door and steps down a couple of ladders,
- 2:46:29you'll find a lanyard that he will throw to open up what they call the nigh-tun.
- 2:46:41Actually, nothing more than a work back there where I find all of his tools and everything to work with.
- 2:46:47He's out on the lunar surface.
- 2:46:57Waiting for more, the hatch has been opened successfully.
- 2:47:04I'm not sure what he's doing at this point, but do you like?
- 2:47:15The hatch is unlocked.
- 2:47:20How does it get out?
- 2:47:22It'll pop open.
- 2:47:27I thought this did you a lot.
- 2:47:37Perfect.
- 2:47:49It's presumed that tens of millions of people are listening right now to the biggest single audience,
- 2:47:57or what is certainly the biggest single event in man's scientific life.
- 2:48:04I'm going to sit on the back down.
- 2:48:20These are the horses of the two astronauts, astronaut Aldrin and Armstrong, walking to one another on the inside of the limb.
- 2:48:41They've been on their suitable length of work system now for about ten minutes.
- 2:48:47They're going to have to stay on it for approximately two hours and fourteen minutes.
- 2:48:51Although they do have a reservoir that's been carried them beyond that.
- 2:48:56What's your status on hatch opening?
- 2:49:02Everything is going.
- 2:49:04We're just waiting for the lunar pressure to open the hatch.
- 2:49:11It's about 0.1 on our gauge.
- 2:49:16At a least tens of an inch.
- 2:49:20There.
- 2:49:24That's what this is.
- 2:49:26Take a look at the plan.
- 2:49:28I'll try to do it with you to open it.
- 2:49:33I want to.
- 2:49:37The reason that we got the idea was to do it.
- 2:49:41No, it's just...
- 2:49:44Roger, we're showing you all of the static pressure on your cabin.
- 2:49:49Do you think you can open the hatch at this pressure about 0.12 psi?
- 2:49:57We're going to try it.
- 2:50:02We're going to have to fill this hatch open against this pressure.
- 2:50:14It's coming open.
- 2:50:18Hold it for one second.
- 2:50:20I'll get the valve to open.
- 2:50:22I'm going to get it up first.
- 2:50:24It's a few man's job.
- 2:50:27Hold it there, and I'll go look at the Google hatch.
- 2:50:42Hatch reported coming open at 109 hours, 8 minutes, 5 seconds.
- 2:50:48Pair of throttle.
- 2:50:58OK.
- 2:51:00I had it open for about a minute now.
- 2:51:19There was, yeah.
- 2:51:31Columbia is reduced, I would.
- 2:51:38Columbia is reduced, and we'd like you to cycle with man to cryo hydrogen tank number one.
- 2:51:47And the LLSI, this orbit is 111, 193-1.
- 2:52:00I'd like to make that for the next orbit.
- 2:52:02You already have the LLSI this orbit.
- 2:52:08I'm going to be working with Mike Collins in Columbia.
- 2:52:18We can control our fuel responsibility here.
- 2:52:39If it's an activity that has reversed outlet times in separations that have make up.
- 2:52:56And they are probably so busy doing the things that they have to do,
- 2:53:04that they had little or no time to consider
- 2:53:08the ploy of the line and
- 2:53:10let you see any emotional impact at this point.
- 2:53:15Any better communication?
- 2:53:18Any better communication for the line now?
- 2:53:22Again, it could be, I suppose, that
- 2:53:26on front of
- 2:53:28touching the wall of the
- 2:53:31limb or stretching the surface of the limb as it did earlier,
- 2:53:36the move about in this 1-6 gravity
- 2:53:38is getting the last swirl.
- 2:53:44No, it shows what that's to do with
- 2:53:47the situation, but
- 2:53:49it sounds like a real good guess, being the other day when they were demonstrating the radio force here at the man's spacecraft center
- 2:53:55and had a similar problem, I believe, every time they answered a touching metal or something.
- 2:54:02I don't imagine, even though Armstrong said that they can move around there easily,
- 2:54:07I would imagine that to compare it with him.
- 2:54:10Certainly, anybody who has run up swimming in the water knows that you're so lucky I couldn't get around,
- 2:54:16but there's still some exertion and some lack of coordination that
- 2:54:22makes this effort of getting the head swirl open just to take a little longer than
- 2:54:27opening the front door to your house.
- 2:54:33Any moment now, we should have a report that
- 2:54:38Astronaut Neil Armstrong has moved out of the lab and started outside.
- 2:54:44There means more than work. They don't think too much about telling the rest of the world what they're doing while they're doing it.
- 2:54:51No, this is a time to make sure everything is perfect.
- 2:54:55They can't be put on the PLS for 16 and a half minutes.
- 2:55:02PLS at the portable life support system.
- 2:55:09Columbia, this is Houston. We're joining Mary and Hagen at the center.
- 2:55:14When you lose a lot on us, we request Omni Delta.
- 2:55:21When you lose a lot, we'll tell them what you lose.
- 2:55:25Listen to me.
- 2:55:28I'm guessing the transmission is your XR, and that's to remain the word eight minutes away from lots of signal from Columbia.
- 2:55:41This is Jack Raleigh and this is Bill.
- 2:55:47Again, Columbia is the radio code name for the command ship, which is still in lunar orbit with Mike Collins.
- 2:55:55Okay, my wind is clear. I'm going to go to Mike to wind up a little bit.
- 2:56:00Okay, my rudder sir.
- 2:56:05Close the lunar module fire now.
- 2:56:10Well, they can be outside of this business.
- 2:56:13All our gear wind is clear.
- 2:56:15I'm getting ready to turn the fuel and up a little bit.
- 2:56:19Roger.
- 2:56:26As that pressure lights, a BF light and an ETS light.
- 2:56:31Now we've got to water it separately.
- 2:56:34Alright, alright.
- 2:56:36We're reading the warning lights on the computer.
- 2:56:38I'm going to turn one bit of pressure into first, and I'll take the hand.
- 2:56:52Two faster-ups can adjust the temperature of the wind to accommodate a strong speed pressure.
- 2:56:58Hold the light. It's cooling down.
- 2:57:00Take care.
- 2:57:04Okay, I called up secondary, take a break to open.
- 2:57:12I can see that.
- 2:57:15Build the seat at it.
- 2:57:17I'm going to wind it this way.
- 2:57:19Take a warning, sir.
- 2:57:23I can't understand what I was saying.
- 2:57:29Okay, I'm good.
- 2:57:34It's ready.
- 2:57:39Let's open.
- 2:57:40Yeah, fine.
- 2:57:45Okay.
- 2:57:48Got things ready to water, specialties are open.
- 2:58:00I'll let you head on, I'll get it.
- 2:58:03Okay, I'll get it.
- 2:58:06I was on the line, so I'll talk to you together.
- 2:58:10And please check out the light support system.
- 2:58:14Okay, I'll get the light support.
- 2:58:19Okay.
- 2:58:23And now we're ready to hook up the OEC here.
- 2:58:27OEC is a lunar equipment conveyor.
- 2:58:29He is outside of the ice.
- 2:58:32He's ready to hook that up.
- 2:58:37I've been very embarrassed by what's the rule.
- 2:58:40I'm sorry, sir.
- 2:58:44I was not impressed.
- 2:58:48I was just saying.
- 2:58:51I see that.
- 2:58:53I'm going to have to believe you.
- 2:58:57Got another deck.
- 2:58:59Okay, now we're going to hook this up.
- 2:59:02Okay.
- 2:59:08Okay, your bar is in.
- 2:59:11Yep.
- 2:59:19I can get back as fast as I can support.
- 2:59:27And have my fast-movie.
- 2:59:29I'll wake up.
- 2:59:31I'll get there.
- 2:59:33I'll go look for a name.
- 2:59:36Okay.
- 2:59:38Hey, down.
- 2:59:40You're left a little bit.
- 2:59:42I'm here.
- 2:59:46You're lined up.
- 2:59:49It's working a little bit.
- 2:59:51Down.
- 2:59:52Okay, may I clear?
- 2:59:54It's catching me a certain handstick problem.
- 2:59:57So, what are we?
- 2:59:59I move your roll to the left.
- 3:00:05Okay, may I clear?
- 3:00:07Line up with a fast-mo.
- 3:00:09Okay, left foot to the right a little bit.
- 3:00:13Okay, that's good.
- 3:00:15I'll go and hook into arms to the whole left.
- 3:00:18Good.
- 3:00:24Okay, now I'm going to catch up.
- 3:00:27Get that foot here.
- 3:00:34Okay, now quick, wait a minute.
- 3:00:36Hold her right a little.
- 3:00:42Hey, even.
- 3:00:44That's okay. That's good.
- 3:00:48That's plenty of room for your left.
- 3:00:50It's close. Not me.
- 3:00:53All right.
- 3:00:57I'll do it.
- 3:00:58Okay, that's fine.
