Mega’s $5M Double, Mega Millions jackpot rises to $364M, Powerball jackpot reaches $485M · The Lottery Rundown: Powerball & Mega Millions Results, Trends and News

Mega’s Five-Million Double! This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday October 7th Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 26, 32, 42, 51 and 54, plus Mega Ball 22. Nobody claimed the jackpot, but one lucky Florida ticket holder scored 3 million dollars and a New Jersey player landed 2 million. If either ticket were yours, how long would it take you to believe the screen? Number 26 ranks among the five most frequently drawn white balls over the past six years, while Mega Ball 22 is also among its five busiest. Four white balls were even, leaving 51 as the lone odd-ball employee at the meeting. Friday’s jackpot rises to 364 million dollars, with a cash value of 147 million 300 thousand dollars. That could fund a moon-based sandwich shop with free delivery to anyone willing to wait several days. Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, October 5, with 16, 23, 32, 36 and 54, plus Powerball 9 and a 2X multiplier. No jackpot winner emerged, though one thrilled Louisiana ticket holder collected 2 million dollars. Number 36 returned after 28 drawings away, the clearest comeback in the lineup. Tonight’s jackpot stands at 485 million dollars, with a cash value of 199 million 800 thousand dollars. The run has reached 23 drawings and 54 days without a jackpot winner, still a fairly ordinary stretch. Wednesday has produced 21 of the past 46 jackpot wins, a stronger showing than its share of drawings.
