- 0:07Speaker 1: This media podcast. Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia, the only
- 0:12Speaker 1: game show where conservation always wins. I'm your host, Spencer
- 0:16Speaker 1: new Hearth, and today we're joined by Steven Ronnella, Janice
- 0:19Speaker 1: Patelis Hayden Samic, Maggie Smith, Crin Schneider, Hunter Spencer and
- 0:24Speaker 1: Dan Chumbler. If you're not familiar, this is a ten
- 0:26Speaker 1: round quiz show with questions for meat eaters for verticals
- 0:30Speaker 1: which are hunting, fishing, conservation and cooking, and there is
- 0:33Speaker 1: a prize. Meat Eater will donate five dollars to the
- 0:36Speaker 1: conservation organization of the winners choosing. But there's a twist
- 0:41Speaker 1: for this week's very special show. This is our Christmas
- 0:45Speaker 1: episode of Meat Eater Trivia. Steve asked me what that means?
- 0:51Speaker 1: What's that means? I'm glad you asked. Well. On this
- 0:53Speaker 1: week's show, all ten questions from our four verticals are
- 0:57Speaker 1: holiday themed and after our regular the round of Trivia,
- 1:00Speaker 1: we're playing Christmas Family Feud. Now. Steve hated that game
- 1:04Speaker 1: last year and even declared afterwards that we'd never do
- 1:06Speaker 1: it again, but our audience loved it, so we're bringing
- 1:09Speaker 1: it back. Don't remember what did I hate? About it. Um.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It seemed as though you didn't understand it, and that
- 1:19Speaker 1: made it less fun. And I think you said afterwards,
- 1:22Speaker 1: let's not do that again. His team must not have one.
- 1:25Speaker 1: His team did win, but they couldn't still like they
- 1:28Speaker 1: couldn't double their money in fast money. We'll see if
- 1:30Speaker 1: you like it better this year, and then if that doesn't,
- 1:33Speaker 1: know I didn't like it. Uh. Part of the reason
- 1:35Speaker 1: I would like it is you stole family feuds idea.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, why did I didn't come up with trivia either?
- 1:41Speaker 1: No one. No one came up with trivia. It's like
- 1:44Speaker 1: it'd be like coming up with watching the sunrise. Invented
- 1:49Speaker 1: watching the sunrise. It's like, you can't invent trivia, but
- 1:51Speaker 1: you can invent family feud. The fun thing with family feud, though,
- 1:54Speaker 1: is most folks already get it. It's like built in
- 1:56Speaker 1: they know how to play. You can play along at home.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We're gonna try it again this year, and if you're
- 2:00Speaker 1: still against it, we'll never do it again. Okay, never
- 2:05Speaker 1: say never. That's right. And here's what makes this Christmas
- 2:09Speaker 1: episode extra special. We're going to potentially make our biggest
- 2:13Speaker 1: donation in Meat Eater Trivia history. There will be a
- 2:16Speaker 1: five hundred dollar donation for the winner of Trivia, a
- 2:18Speaker 1: five hundred dollar donation for the winner of Family Feud,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and potentially an extra five donation if the winning Family
- 2:25Speaker 1: Feud team is successful at Fast Money. So we'll potentially
- 2:29Speaker 1: have a fifteen hundred dollar donation for conservation at the
- 2:33Speaker 1: end of this show. That's already been approved by accounting department.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm not just not just coming up that's right. That's right, Jesus.
- 2:42Speaker 1: What Steve just scribble on the back of his board,
- 2:44Speaker 1: sucking Spencer, He's got a new line. That's uh, an
- 2:49Speaker 1: empty board had already written that. So folks listening to
- 2:54Speaker 1: this are gonna get to listen to a regular Trivia
- 2:56Speaker 1: and a bonus family Feud. All this is a packed
- 2:59Speaker 1: episode of Trivia, all Christmas theme. Now, we have some
- 3:03Speaker 1: housekeeping to get to you before we play, and I
- 3:05Speaker 1: have some good news and some bad news for Steve.
- 3:09Speaker 1: In the spirit of Christmas, though I'm only going to
- 3:11Speaker 1: deliver the good news right now. We'll say the bad
- 3:13Speaker 1: news for next week's episode because I don't want to
- 3:16Speaker 1: ruin the holiday cheer. You get what was it? A
- 3:18Speaker 1: correction that would have cost me a win. We're gonna
- 3:21Speaker 1: talk about that right now. Ready, Okay, here's the good news.
- 3:25Speaker 1: On episode three eight six of Meat Eater Trivia, I
- 3:29Speaker 1: showed the room a stone tool and said it shares
- 3:32Speaker 1: its name with a Star Wars character. The answer I
- 3:34Speaker 1: was looking for was mall, but Steve said hammer head. Now,
- 3:38Speaker 1: some do refer to these tools as hammer heads, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: there isn't a Star Wars character with that name, or
- 3:44Speaker 1: so I thought. Four listeners wrote in to say that
- 3:47Speaker 1: in the nineteen seventy seven Star Wars movie episode four
- 3:52Speaker 1: A New Hope, viewers are briefly introduced to an alien
- 3:55Speaker 1: species called Authorians, but they aren't identified as Authorians, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: later on in this series, so as a placeholder, Star
- 4:03Speaker 1: Wars called them hammer heads on their merchandizing. Some of
- 4:06Speaker 1: the only what I had, some of the only evidence
- 4:10Speaker 1: of this is a nineteen seventies seven Star Wars action
- 4:13Speaker 1: figure that is labeled as a hammer head on the package.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It still my mom's attic think, So okay. So to
- 4:21Speaker 1: Steve's credit, his answer satisfies both parts of the question.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That stone tool can be referred to as a hammer head,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and there's a Star Wars character with that same name, Steve,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you've been vindicated anyway. Well, now here's even better news
- 4:36Speaker 1: for you. That episode ended in a tiebreaker between you
- 4:40Speaker 1: and Janice, which Janice won. But since I'm retroactively giving
- 4:44Speaker 1: you credit for a correct answer, then that would mean
- 4:47Speaker 1: that you won the show outright, and we didn't need
- 4:50Speaker 1: to go to overtime. So when you got to go
- 4:52Speaker 1: gets back from that place, I don't need to give
- 4:56Speaker 1: us money to I would guess, so changing the switch
- 5:01Speaker 1: it up every time the board. So in a mediator trivia,
- 5:04Speaker 1: first I'm changed the stripping the hone of that hold
- 5:09Speaker 1: one second here and giving no no, no, no, no no,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you're the host, do whatever you want. I'd love you, Spencer,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but listen. The hammer Head. It's first of all, it
- 5:17Speaker 1: was it was a species character. It was a species.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's not their canonized name. And the character's name is
- 5:26Speaker 1: no mon Na don or something like that. There's no
- 5:28Speaker 1: there's no character named hammer Head. It was a Star
- 5:31Speaker 1: Wars action figure they put out and it says it
- 5:34Speaker 1: says hammer Head right on it. This is egregious. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: will not stand for this. I am going to allow it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I want to, uh, but how are you going to
- 5:42Speaker 1: get your money back. Well, that part will not happen,
- 5:45Speaker 1: but we're all about the end of the year and
- 5:48Speaker 1: Spencer's buttering up his boss a little bit. That's resolutely here.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Where to keep these numbers? Uh, there are some under
- 5:57Speaker 1: the board, and there's some in that bag, and we
- 5:59Speaker 1: can also addressed. Yeah, that's the guy I have here.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Is right on the packaging it says hammer So the
- 6:10Speaker 1: only way you would know that is if your oldest ship.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Because because a couple of years after that they were
- 6:17Speaker 1: it was no longer called the hammer Head. He probably
- 6:19Speaker 1: had the metal lunch pail with the character on it
- 6:21Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, man, Phil, does that sound familiar to you?
- 6:25Speaker 1: The hammer Head? Like I brought up on the episode
- 6:28Speaker 1: You find a simple you find a single case where
- 6:30Speaker 1: Phil head my back on something. I had your back
- 6:33Speaker 1: on that episode because I referenced Actually when Elliott does
- 6:37Speaker 1: reference that character says that this is hammer Head. But
- 6:41Speaker 1: that's not the character's name, and it's also not the
- 6:43Speaker 1: species name. It was a confused merchandizing department in the seventies,
- 6:47Speaker 1: that's what that was. Steve gets his victory. Now, that
- 6:50Speaker 1: was good news for Steve, bad news for Joannie I'm sorry.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Can you do me the favor that let's go back
- 6:55Speaker 1: and find out where he gave that money. We we
- 6:58Speaker 1: can address that after the show, and we're going to
- 7:01Speaker 1: call them up and say, sorry, we have this out.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You might be having the new heart household might be
- 7:11Speaker 1: lightening up on the Christmas. We're gonna make our own
- 7:13Speaker 1: Christmas presents because you got, you just got. You're gonna
- 7:16Speaker 1: getting five bucks on the old next paycheck, and it'll
- 7:19Speaker 1: be a nice explanation of Now you see, there's this
- 7:22Speaker 1: Star Wars question and this stone tool that's ten thousand
- 7:25Speaker 1: years old, Johnny, no comment, no comment. I wonder how
- 7:33Speaker 1: often that happens to me. I'll pull it up. I'll
- 7:37Speaker 1: bring it up four listeners, had your back, Steve uh
- 7:41Speaker 1: and and all has been made right. And next week
- 7:45Speaker 1: we will get to the bad news. Didn't want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: ruin the Christmas spirit? Am I going to going to
- 7:49Speaker 1: adjust that? Now? The shell for this game is a
- 7:54Speaker 1: three point five, so our winner should get about seven
- 7:57Speaker 1: or right. And with that we're onto the game of trivia.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Play the up l look, I need to know what
- 8:04Speaker 1: I stay in the wind everything? How's just tend to
- 8:09Speaker 1: win everything? Us? Question? One. The topic is conservation, and
- 8:21Speaker 1: as always, this will be multiple choice. What state grows
- 8:26Speaker 1: the most Christmas trees? Is it Oregon, North Carolina, Wisconsin
- 8:32Speaker 1: or Utah? What state grows the most Christmas trees? Oregon,
- 8:39Speaker 1: North Carolina, Wisconsin were Utah? Quick answers from the room.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Does everybody have one? Y'all needs doing some extra writing?
- 8:51Speaker 1: My pans aren't working. Maybe it's that board. You ready, Yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 1: go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Steve saying Oregon,
- 9:03Speaker 1: Dan saying with Scotts, and Hunter saying North Carolina, Hayden
- 9:07Speaker 1: sang Wisconsin, Crin saying North Carolina, Maggie sang Wisconsin, Janice
- 9:13Speaker 1: saying North Carolina. The correct answer is Oregon. Damn it.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I had that and erased it. Oregon harvests four point
- 9:26Speaker 1: seven million Christmas trees each year. That's followed by North
- 9:29Speaker 1: Carolina at four million, Michigan at one point five million,
- 9:33Speaker 1: Pennsylvania at one million, and Wisconsin at seven hundred thousand.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Kind of just looked this up the other day, and
- 9:40Speaker 1: and is that how you knew it? Huh? Is that
- 9:42Speaker 1: how you knew this? Answer? No, already knew, Um, you
- 9:45Speaker 1: know what I looked it up because you were Christmas
- 9:47Speaker 1: tree hunt. Well, because I'm just I'm becoming like a
- 9:49Speaker 1: Christmas tree enthusiast. And and what else did you learn? Well,
- 9:55Speaker 1: you know how you can get a permit and like
- 9:58Speaker 1: Harvest Tree, I'm going right after this facility, go get well.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I've got some tips for you. But here's the thing
- 10:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna start doing. Man, I've already talked to on
- 10:04Speaker 1: X about it. I'm gonna have on X making new
- 10:06Speaker 1: Christmas tree icon. That's great, And I'm gonna go out
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the woods. I'm gonna find beauties. I'm gonna eliminate
- 10:14Speaker 1: their neighbors, which is illegal. I'm gonna prune them and
- 10:21Speaker 1: i'm gonna maintain about ten of them. And for Christmas presents,
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna give out my way points. That's great. I
- 10:28Speaker 1: like that, but I don't think people that appreciate as
- 10:30Speaker 1: much if they have to cross a creek to do it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I saw the photo you had that you were. It's
- 10:34Speaker 1: gonna be like a treasure hunt. You're gonna get away
- 10:37Speaker 1: point and it's gonna be like a logistical you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and you're going to it's gonna be like the perfect
- 10:44Speaker 1: tree there because I've been taken care of and you
- 10:46Speaker 1: have one already for this year, already got mine for
- 10:48Speaker 1: this shot. I would also like on X to create
- 10:51Speaker 1: a fossil way point. I've been waiting on that. They
- 10:53Speaker 1: have about fifty way points. Don't have one for fossils
- 10:56Speaker 1: yet though, HM now E College. Unfortunately, the ecologists are
- 11:03Speaker 1: torn on the impact that Christmas tree farms have on
- 11:06Speaker 1: the environment. While they use a lot of energy to
- 11:09Speaker 1: harvest and transport trees and promote the used to pesticides,
- 11:12Speaker 1: they also capture a ton of carbon dioxide, keep artificial
- 11:16Speaker 1: trees out of landfills, and create edge habitat for wildlife. Ah,
- 11:21Speaker 1: that wasn't irasble rookie rookie move Rookie Steve used a
- 11:27Speaker 1: permanent marker. I just kind of episode that was. I
- 11:33Speaker 1: was so cheerful coming into this room and I'm just
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm so upset. Question to the topic is mountain Men.
- 11:41Speaker 1: This award winning film, which features mountain men like Jim
- 11:45Speaker 1: Bridger and Andrew Henry, was released on Christmas Day. In
- 11:52Speaker 1: This award winning film, which features mountain men like Jim
- 11:56Speaker 1: Bridger and Andrew Henry, was released on Christmas Day. In
- 12:04Speaker 1: some slow answers in the room, But folks now look confident.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Everybody have them. Oh, you're trying to do all Christmas themed,
- 12:12Speaker 1: all Christmas themed. Somebody have a phone rings curl Karna
- 12:22Speaker 1: that now everything is Christmas themed in this episode one
- 12:31Speaker 1: more time here. This award winning film, which features mountain
- 12:34Speaker 1: men like Jim Bridger and Andrew Henry, was released on
- 12:38Speaker 1: Christmas Day. In grin she's drawing on a Christmas tree.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Let's go go ahead and reveal your answers. We have
- 12:49Speaker 1: Steve saying, Steve saying the Revenant, Dan without an answer,
- 12:54Speaker 1: Hunter saying Revenant, Revenant, Karn without an answer. Maggie and
- 12:58Speaker 1: Janice saying that Revenant. They got it. The answer is
- 13:02Speaker 1: the Revenant. I was trying to figure out when Steve
- 13:05Speaker 1: was like peek piste off about the bear attack. It
- 13:08Speaker 1: had been about the movie was now on the author
- 13:12Speaker 1: on the podcast. I mean, it's like, but it's like
- 13:16Speaker 1: that it doesn't have any to do with this book.
- 13:18Speaker 1: The movie was nominated for twelve Oscars and won three
- 13:21Speaker 1: of them. It debuted on the same day as Hateful Light,
- 13:24Speaker 1: which inspired The Daily Beast to declare it as the
- 13:27Speaker 1: bloodiest Christmas Day of all Time? Question three, The topic
- 13:32Speaker 1: is hunting. What comedian saying the Redneck Twelve Days of
- 13:37Speaker 1: Christmas where he receives three shotgun shells, two hunting dogs,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and some parts to a Mustang GT. What comedian saying
- 13:48Speaker 1: the Redneck Twelve Days of Christmas where he receives three
- 13:53Speaker 1: shotgun shells, two hunting dogs, and some parts to a
- 13:57Speaker 1: Mustang g T Yanni, you like this song? I don't
- 14:03Speaker 1: know if I've ever heard it, but there is a
- 14:05Speaker 1: contender for uh best hunting song ever that has just
- 14:10Speaker 1: recently debut. If you heard it? Um? What which one is? Is?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Like Childers? Is hunting dogs go to Heaven? Is that
- 14:17Speaker 1: the one? A lot of folks UH wants to talk
- 14:20Speaker 1: about that? I don't. I don't believe that that's true.
- 14:23Speaker 1: What's you know? It's a contender for the hunting dogs
- 14:29Speaker 1: only they go to Hell or have In the song
- 14:36Speaker 1: he he just says if he can't hunt on God's ground,
- 14:39Speaker 1: he'd rather go to Hell with his friends and his dogs.
- 14:42Speaker 1: There you go? Does everybody have an answer about what
- 14:45Speaker 1: comedians sang The Redneck Twelve Days of Christmas where he
- 14:49Speaker 1: receives three shotgun shells two hunting Dogs and some parts
- 14:53Speaker 1: to a Mustang g T. I can't believe he didn't
- 14:56Speaker 1: sing that a little bit. At least have Phil sing
- 14:58Speaker 1: that for us? Yeah, why don't you have don't you play?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Do you have an answer? Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 15:05Speaker 1: We have Steve saying, Jeff Foxworthy, Dan without an answer?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Hunter and Hayden sang Foxworthy, Koran without an answer, Mark
- 15:14Speaker 1: sang Joe Rogan, and Jana sang Foxworthy. They gotta right
- 15:18Speaker 1: the answer for the people that didn't Foxworthy. Who else
- 15:21Speaker 1: would do that? Right? Could? I've already heard the damn song,
- 15:28Speaker 1: But I'm like this whole gig was like, you know,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you're a redneck? Yeah, Foxworthy song on his N six
- 15:36Speaker 1: album called Crank It Up. The music album Play It
- 15:40Speaker 1: Forest Phil Man is a normal Christmas presents the redneck gift?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Redneck gift? Yeah, you know, like if you buy your
- 15:48Speaker 1: wife air rings the doublest fishing lures, or if you
- 15:51Speaker 1: can birth the entire chorus of jingle Bell Perhaps if
- 15:55Speaker 1: you think the nutcracker is something you've hit off the
- 15:58Speaker 1: high dive, or if you've ever misspelled anything in Christmas lights,
- 16:03Speaker 1: or if you leave cold beer and pickled eggs for
- 16:06Speaker 1: Santa claus By. Finally that I didn't say anything wrong
- 16:09Speaker 1: with it. It's hard to be well. Pack of bud
- 16:12Speaker 1: Leamon wrestling tickets, can of Copenhagen, nine years, probation eggs,
- 16:16Speaker 1: Table D answer seven facts of red Men, six dancers,
- 16:24Speaker 1: all big, my tires, three shot them shelves two hundred
- 16:27Speaker 1: dollars and some parts two a Mustang G two that
- 16:32Speaker 1: really put you into Christmas spirit. I'm coming back around
- 16:36Speaker 1: on what the Christmas spirit after you ruined it when
- 16:39Speaker 1: you started this episode. Yeah, you gonna crank that on
- 16:42Speaker 1: the way home. Now. Now I'll be listening to Children's
- 16:46Speaker 1: about dogs. Question for the topic is cooking. This word
- 16:52Speaker 1: with German origins is defined as the hearts, livers, and
- 16:57Speaker 1: gizzards from foul. This word with German origins is defined
- 17:06Speaker 1: as the hearts, livers, and gizzards from foul. We have
- 17:12Speaker 1: markers dying left and right here. We're gonna have to
- 17:14Speaker 1: get a new ship into market. Interesting. Um, you know
- 17:19Speaker 1: how I wrote with a sharpie on my board and
- 17:22Speaker 1: it would not erase. I then put a bunch of
- 17:25Speaker 1: that dry erase inc over that and let it sit
- 17:28Speaker 1: a minute, and it dissolved the sharpie hot tip and
- 17:32Speaker 1: turned the sharpie into erase double and I just erased it.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I did all that way. You guys are sitting here
- 17:40Speaker 1: one more time. This word, with the German origins is
- 17:43Speaker 1: defined as the hearts, livers, and gizzards from foul. Does
- 17:48Speaker 1: everybody have an answer? There's a fini. Does everybody have
- 17:56Speaker 1: any Come on, let's just cut the chit chat. Let's go.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Steve is running a clean sweep. Karann has yet to
- 18:06Speaker 1: get one, and Steve says, no, do not help fun
- 18:10Speaker 1: here today. Does everybody answer? He's got too much confidence
- 18:14Speaker 1: because Brody's not here in the fact that he likes space,
- 18:19Speaker 1: and then show up if you're listening. Brodie is supposed
- 18:23Speaker 1: to be here, but said he didn't see the calendar invite,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but he accepted it. He accepted it. I sent him
- 18:29Speaker 1: a photo show he does he does? He would uh,
- 18:33Speaker 1: he would miss like his children's tournament winner could not
- 18:37Speaker 1: bother to show him. Now that's confidence. Actually, does everybody
- 18:40Speaker 1: have an answer? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 18:43Speaker 1: have Steve saying Giblets dance saying Giblets hunter without an answer.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Hayden saying giblets, Krin saying ful, Maggie saying bah humbug,
- 18:54Speaker 1: and Janice saying giblets they got it. The correct answer
- 18:58Speaker 1: is I'm not getting a German vibe that origins. These
- 19:03Speaker 1: organs are often turned into stuffing on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- 19:07Speaker 1: If you want to learn more ways to cook with giblets,
- 19:10Speaker 1: then go to the meat eater dot com and check
- 19:11Speaker 1: out Steve's recipe for pickled game bird gizzards and Danielle
- 19:15Speaker 1: Pruett's recipe for wild giblet gravy. I think I'm goold
- 19:19Speaker 1: have shared this with you, but I think I've told
- 19:21Speaker 1: you that my father, who is a World War two
- 19:22Speaker 1: abutter like, never forgave the Germans. Uh. He would be
- 19:28Speaker 1: like even when they say I love you, it's ugly
- 19:32Speaker 1: and you go click. Is that how it sounds? It
- 19:37Speaker 1: does sound mean, said. The smell of their cigarettes makes
- 19:39Speaker 1: the hair on the back of my neck stand up
- 19:42Speaker 1: and make you look at the word giblets differently. Question five.
- 19:45Speaker 1: The topic is fishing. Christmas Island is located one thousand
- 19:51Speaker 1: miles west of Australia in What Ocean. Christmas Island is
- 19:59Speaker 1: located one thousand miles west of Australia in what ocean?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Quick answer from Hunter. You know this, we'll find out
- 20:11Speaker 1: the rest of the room. Taking their time. Phil, while
- 20:15Speaker 1: we're waiting, tell us about the Christmas Carol. How's that going? Well,
- 20:18Speaker 1: this is gonna air after this obviously out top podcast work.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But tonight's opening night. Oh that's great? Yea excited? Right,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm going on Saturday. Anybody else going on Saturday? I'm
- 20:29Speaker 1: going on the I'm going on We got you, Phil
- 20:34Speaker 1: every night? Yeah, there we go. Should we bring banners
- 20:37Speaker 1: or signs or anything to cheer you on? Yeah? Yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 1: preferably one that get like you can hang from the balcony.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Just block everyone's Phil, text, text, text your wife and
- 20:49Speaker 1: tell her too. She's been to like she's so worried
- 20:54Speaker 1: about seating. Well, here's the thing. The longer you wait,
- 20:58Speaker 1: it's aren't going to get anything at all. She's STI
- 21:00Speaker 1: worried about what if there's a pillar in the way up,
- 21:02Speaker 1: There's it's a small there. There are no bad seats. Honestly,
- 21:05Speaker 1: one more time. Christmas Island is located one thousand miles
- 21:08Speaker 1: west of Australia in what ocean? Does everybody have an answer,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I think my sweeps ending because I'm not listening to
- 21:14Speaker 1: my own Humunculus. Go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 21:17Speaker 1: have Steve sang Indian, Dance saying Indian, Hunter saying Indian, Indian, Indian,
- 21:24Speaker 1: Marge sang Arctic, and Janice sang Indian. The correct answer
- 21:29Speaker 1: is Indian. The room did very well. Christmas Island is
- 21:34Speaker 1: famous for what most anglers considered to be the best
- 21:37Speaker 1: international bone fishing in the world. The island is also
- 21:40Speaker 1: known for its abundance of trivoli, wahoo, tuna, and sailfish.
- 21:45Speaker 1: The Pacific Ocean also has a less famous Christmas Island,
- 21:49Speaker 1: but it's located about twelve miles south of Hawaii. Phil
- 21:53Speaker 1: We're halfway through the game of trivia. Give us a
- 21:55Speaker 1: Christmas eee update. Yeah, I'm a little annoyed because I
- 21:57Speaker 1: was gonna make a really mean joke about Crank getting
- 21:59Speaker 1: a goose seg for Christmas. But You got it and
- 22:02Speaker 1: Maggie have one point, Dan has two points, Hunter has three,
- 22:08Speaker 1: You Honest and Hayden have four, and in first place
- 22:11Speaker 1: it's Steven with five points of perfect game. Steve hammer
- 22:15Speaker 1: Head Ranella, can you ask a sports question, please? Question six,
- 22:23Speaker 1: The topic is gear. What brand of BB gun does
- 22:28Speaker 1: Ralphie get in the nineteen eighty three movie A Christmas Story? Well?
- 22:34Speaker 1: What brand of BB gun does Ralphie get in the
- 22:38Speaker 1: nineteen eighty three movie A Christmas Story? Very confident? Room
- 22:44Speaker 1: disgusted that I even asked? No, just like there's I
- 22:48Speaker 1: got home, I got some feedback, don't give it away?
- 22:52Speaker 1: What brand does Relfhie get in the nineteen eighty three
- 22:58Speaker 1: movie A Smith Story. Does everybody have an answer? Can
- 23:04Speaker 1: we go outside from it? What's theelat being work for you? Up?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Everybody have an answer? Grin, Come on, Karin, what's the
- 23:21Speaker 1: one BB gun manufacturer out there? Ever? Go ahead and
- 23:26Speaker 1: reveal your answers. Listen, okay, are you confusing brand with model?
- 23:34Speaker 1: You get points for answers. He says red Rider. What
- 23:38Speaker 1: did I say, Daisy Red Rider? Thank you? Dance saying
- 23:42Speaker 1: Daisy red Rider, Hunter saying Daisy Red Rider. Hayden saying
- 23:47Speaker 1: red Ride. He's out, dude, No, no, no, that's without
- 23:52Speaker 1: an answer, Mark saying Red Rode saying Daisy Red Ryan.
- 23:57Speaker 1: They got it. The correct answer is Daisy red Rod Ei.
- 24:00Speaker 1: We're going to give it to you them if they
- 24:02Speaker 1: just said, no, you can't. That's model. That's a model,
- 24:05Speaker 1: not a brand. You didn't say make and model or no,
- 24:09Speaker 1: you said brand. Nobody in the history of the world
- 24:11Speaker 1: has been like he got a daisy for Christmas? If
- 24:16Speaker 1: I said to you, what kind of phone do you got?
- 24:20Speaker 1: An iPhone? No? No, okay, but what what? What? What was? Specifically?
- 24:24Speaker 1: What is it? It's an iPhone? If I said what
- 24:28Speaker 1: brand of phone does Hayden have and someone wrote fourteen, Well,
- 24:31Speaker 1: some of my right iPhone. But you wouldn't write Apple. Listen,
- 24:36Speaker 1: that's a stupid example that I escaped. But no way,
- 24:41Speaker 1: see you cannot argue this and then take the stupid
- 24:45Speaker 1: thing Spencer gave you with the hammer head, because that's
- 24:47Speaker 1: that's not even right. We're going to give it to
- 24:50Speaker 1: you the red Writer model of a daisy brand to
- 24:56Speaker 1: be begun Spencer as they work in progress. When it
- 24:59Speaker 1: comes to being a TRIVI hosts like we're learning, we're learning.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Ralphie is very specific about the type of BB gun
- 25:08Speaker 1: he wants, asking for quote an official Red Rider car
- 25:11Speaker 1: being Action two hundred shot range model air rifle with
- 25:15Speaker 1: a compass in the stock and this thing that tells
- 25:18Speaker 1: time When he finally gets one on Christmas Day, his
- 25:20Speaker 1: mother instructs him to not shoot any animals or birds,
- 25:23Speaker 1: but Dad interjects and says, quote, except for the bump
- 25:26Speaker 1: uses dogs, We're gonna give it to you. If he
- 25:30Speaker 1: just said red Rider. Question seven, the topic is cooking.
- 25:36Speaker 1: What southern European country is famous for their Feast of
- 25:40Speaker 1: the Seven Fishes that takes place on Christmas Eve? What
- 25:47Speaker 1: Southern European country is famous for their Feast of the
- 25:51Speaker 1: Seven Fishes that takes place on Christmas Eve? Oh, this
- 25:59Speaker 1: may ruin the perfect game that Steve has going. Southern
- 26:06Speaker 1: European country that's famous for their Feast of the seven
- 26:10Speaker 1: Fishes that takes place on Christmas Eve. Not a very
- 26:17Speaker 1: confident room. I haven't even seen Steve come up with
- 26:19Speaker 1: an answer yet. Well, I know, Spencer, I'm sorry if
- 26:26Speaker 1: getting so upset with you. I don't mean it. I
- 26:28Speaker 1: feel that's okay, Phil. I'm still gonna come to Christmas, Carol,
- 26:31Speaker 1: Merry Christmas. Why does Phil rude against me? I don't
- 26:37Speaker 1: think he does. Steve Newsbreak, but I think there's a
- 26:44Speaker 1: large portion of the it's just the way it is.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Does everybody had that's right? Come with the can you
- 26:55Speaker 1: best not miss Steven? Yeah, but will you please read
- 26:59Speaker 1: the one? Please read the one I scratched out and
- 27:02Speaker 1: the one I left in. Go ahead and reveal your answer.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Steve scratches out Spain instead writes Italy, saying Italy Peyton
- 27:11Speaker 1: sang Italy, Grin sang Italy or Croatia. But she cerca
- 27:16Speaker 1: g Grease is her answer, Mark saying Greece, and Janice
- 27:21Speaker 1: saying Italy. We have a correct answer in the room.
- 27:25Speaker 1: It's Italy. Keeping Steve with the pert man Grease just
- 27:32Speaker 1: felt logical. The meal often includes some combination of anchovies, lobster, sardines,
- 27:39Speaker 1: cod smelt, eel, squid, octopus, shrimp, muscles, and clams. The
- 27:44Speaker 1: men You may also include postive vegetables, baked goods, and wine.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Americans refer to this meal as the Feast of the
- 27:51Speaker 1: Seven Fishes, while Italians call it the Vigil. Question eight.
- 27:56Speaker 1: The topic is fishing sounds delicious? Oh you know, how like,
- 28:03Speaker 1: how how much do you get for if you win
- 28:05Speaker 1: right now? Five? You could you could get a perfect game, though,
- 28:09Speaker 1: which is a thousand? I know, but I thought you're
- 28:10Speaker 1: saying it's like an extra bonus. So we could have
- 28:17Speaker 1: one thousand, two thousand dollars could be donated in this episode,
- 28:20Speaker 1: but right now it's like five bucks. You need to
- 28:23Speaker 1: get these next three questions right. That's tough. I'm going
- 28:26Speaker 1: to do that. Question eight. The topic is fishing. The
- 28:40Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal declared this the most annoying adult toy
- 28:44Speaker 1: of all time, which was a popular gift for anglers
- 28:48Speaker 1: in the early two thousand's. Karan Appears didn't know it? Wow.
- 28:54Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal declared this the most annoying adult
- 28:59Speaker 1: toy of all time, which was a popular gift for
- 29:02Speaker 1: anglers in the early two thousands. Steve is just going
- 29:05Speaker 1: to keep the perfect game going. Ok, how specific? Be specific?
- 29:11Speaker 1: If I don't get the exact like brand name, right,
- 29:13Speaker 1: am I gonna get in trouble brand? If if if
- 29:19Speaker 1: you said, if you said like action figure, that wouldn't
- 29:23Speaker 1: be right. But if you said, g I Joe, that's
- 29:25Speaker 1: what I need? What Southern European country? Oh, I'm sorry,
- 29:33Speaker 1: you're paying attention. The Wall Street Journal declared this the
- 29:36Speaker 1: most annoying adult toy of all time, which was a
- 29:38Speaker 1: popular gift for anglers in the early two thousand's. Does
- 29:42Speaker 1: everybody have an answer? I can only think of one
- 29:46Speaker 1: annoying fishing toy, so I'm going for go ahead and
- 29:49Speaker 1: reveal your answers. We have Steve saying billy the bass,
- 29:53Speaker 1: Dance saying billy bass, Hunter saying big mouth billy bass,
- 29:57Speaker 1: Hayden saying big mouth bass the same fish, Korean saying
- 30:01Speaker 1: billy bass, Marge without an answer, Jana saying big mouth
- 30:05Speaker 1: billy talking beast. I think those were all different. I
- 30:12Speaker 1: don't like is Hayden's you rewrite it, but I don't
- 30:18Speaker 1: want to see what you have. The correct answer here,
- 30:20Speaker 1: you're here, you're the correct answer is big mouth billy bass.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I don't know if anyone wrote that exactly, but I
- 30:28Speaker 1: think I think, I think we give it. Because we
- 30:33Speaker 1: gave the Red Riders, we will give it to the folks.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Maybe missed a couple of words, but until from the
- 30:41Speaker 1: South talking with your taxes, there's several floating around your
- 30:48Speaker 1: family exactly, and that would be a great white elephant gift.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And you're just trying to add to your little cushion, huh,
- 30:53Speaker 1: or cushion your little leaves. But I like talking. He
- 30:56Speaker 1: didn't talk. I understand you're one ahead, but KB toys
- 31:02Speaker 1: and Spencer's Gifts said it was their most popular adult
- 31:05Speaker 1: toy in two thousand and that new shipments always sold
- 31:08Speaker 1: out within twelve hours. Amazon dot Com said that based
- 31:12Speaker 1: on reviews, it is one of their most hated products
- 31:15Speaker 1: of all time, along with the movie Show Girls and
- 31:18Speaker 1: Ronald Reagan's biography My Mom has that thing hanging in
- 31:25Speaker 1: her house man the book Ronald, I wouldn't be surprised
- 31:29Speaker 1: if Phil. We have two questions left give us a
- 31:33Speaker 1: scoreboard updates. Yes, Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to Maggie,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Karen and Dan who are no longer in the running,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I mean still play along. Glad to have you here,
- 31:44Speaker 1: Um with six points Hunter Spencer Coming up next, we
- 31:48Speaker 1: got Janice and Hayden with seven points apiece and in
- 31:50Speaker 1: first place, still throwing up perfect game a Stephen Randella.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Question nine. The topic is hunting. This holiday, which Britts
- 32:01Speaker 1: celebrate on December is traditionally a day of fox hunting.
- 32:06Speaker 1: What is it? This holiday, which Britt's celebrate on December
- 32:12Speaker 1: twenty six, is traditionally a day of fox hunting. What
- 32:18Speaker 1: is it? Some quick answers and some non answers in
- 32:23Speaker 1: the room. I think I got this one. Okay, Steve
- 32:28Speaker 1: is just going to keep the perfect game going. But
- 32:32Speaker 1: I get about perfect I almost you've come this far.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I'm I'm kind of rooting for you. I hate to
- 32:41Speaker 1: admit it. I'm getting like I'm not getting like I
- 32:45Speaker 1: have it in my head and my homunculous isn't having
- 32:47Speaker 1: another idea. This holiday, which Britt's celebrate on December, is
- 32:53Speaker 1: traditionally a day of fox hunting. Does everybody have an answer?
- 32:58Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal? Oh no, go ahead, go ahead
- 33:01Speaker 1: and reveal your answers. We have Steve saying Boxing Day,
- 33:04Speaker 1: Dan without an answer, Hunter and Hayden saying Boxing Day,
- 33:09Speaker 1: Karin saying King Day, Marge saying Boxing Day, and Jana
- 33:13Speaker 1: saying Boxing Day. The perfect Game keeps going. It is
- 33:17Speaker 1: Boxing Day the United Kingdom. Tradition dates back to the
- 33:21Speaker 1: fifteenth century, but it was banned there in two thousand four.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Today's sportsman in the UK hold a simulated fox hunt instead.
- 33:29Speaker 1: This is where someone drags artificial scent behind them and
- 33:33Speaker 1: stays on the move until the hound catches up with them.
- 33:35Speaker 1: At that point, the hounds are rewarded with treats, and
- 33:38Speaker 1: then the hunt starts again. Each simulated fox Hunt lasts
- 33:42Speaker 1: a couple hours. Fight for your hunting rights, folks, unless
- 33:46Speaker 1: you want to be run around the woods. The dragon
- 33:48Speaker 1: sent and you know who I knew that. I used
- 33:50Speaker 1: to hang out these Canadians and they always had a
- 33:52Speaker 1: big old deal on Canadians, like and they like the
- 33:56Speaker 1: Brits Question ten in boxing Day or they how that
- 34:02Speaker 1: was called boxing day and that they're you know, they
- 34:04Speaker 1: kind of modeled themselves in large measure after the old
- 34:07Speaker 1: you know, our old enemies from the seventeen seventies. Question ten.
- 34:14Speaker 1: The topic is conservation. This type of caribou, which used
- 34:18Speaker 1: to be found from Maine to Alaska, is considered the
- 34:22Speaker 1: largest of the subspecies. This type of caribou, which used
- 34:28Speaker 1: to be found from Maine to Alaska, is considered the
- 34:31Speaker 1: largest of the subspecies. If Steve gets this right, he
- 34:35Speaker 1: will have thrown a perfect game and gets to make
- 34:38Speaker 1: a one thousand dollar donation. If he gets it wrong, though,
- 34:41Speaker 1: we have a chance for overtime with Janice, well, and
- 34:45Speaker 1: we might need to step outside. Hey, not only like that,
- 34:49Speaker 1: like in a fighting not a fighting way, just in
- 34:53Speaker 1: a disgusting way. You don't want to do that for
- 34:56Speaker 1: a tiebreakers farm ress This type of caribou, which used
- 35:02Speaker 1: to be found from main to Alaska, is considered the
- 35:05Speaker 1: largest of these subspecies. Oh is there Oh? Because everybody
- 35:11Speaker 1: have an answer? Well, like how hip to you are?
- 35:15Speaker 1: How hip? Well, I'll we'll talk about it. Let's see
- 35:18Speaker 1: how this goes. I don't think I got it wrong,
- 35:20Speaker 1: by the way, but I think that you might be
- 35:22Speaker 1: operating on dated. Does everybody have an answer? Yi showing
- 35:31Speaker 1: his off y, He's very proud of his answer. Go
- 35:34Speaker 1: ahead and reveal your answers. We have Steve saying woodland,
- 35:38Speaker 1: Dance saying tundra, Hunter saying arctic, Hayden sang woodland, Crean
- 35:43Speaker 1: without an answer, Maggie sang Rudolph, and Janice saying woodland.
- 35:49Speaker 1: The correct answer is boreal forest or woodland, which gives
- 35:55Speaker 1: Steve the perfect game. But do you do you know
- 35:58Speaker 1: how already? I mean, the last one to know. Now
- 36:07Speaker 1: what what? What's your discussion on this? Uh? Do you know?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Geneticists like like the number of cariboo subspecies just keep shrinking.
- 36:17Speaker 1: And at this point, now, if you ask the geneticist,
- 36:21Speaker 1: they think they they're saying that all caribou Europe, Asia,
- 36:25Speaker 1: North America is just it, and it's it's phenotypes. This
- 36:30Speaker 1: is going off of the like Super Slam, which I
- 36:33Speaker 1: think is twenty nine species, and I think they have
- 36:35Speaker 1: five or six cariboo in there. And this is one
- 36:37Speaker 1: distinct caribou that they separate from the rest is the woodland,
- 36:40Speaker 1: boreal or forest. So that's where I got that answer. Okay, Steve,
- 36:46Speaker 1: the one thousand dollar donations thousand dollars if you if
- 36:51Speaker 1: you want to quickly, uh, you know, educate yourself. Just texted.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I just texted with um with Fosberg at tr CP.
- 37:02Speaker 1: TRCP is aware of the Ambler fight which is gonna
- 37:07Speaker 1: be brewing soon. And I'm gonna donate my thousand dollars,
- 37:11Speaker 1: uh to the organization where I sit on the board
- 37:13Speaker 1: of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. And what do you
- 37:17Speaker 1: like about them so much? Because guaranteeing Americans quality places
- 37:21Speaker 1: the hunting fish can argue that, Steve with I think
- 37:25Speaker 1: our third Perfect Game and Meat Eater Trivia history and
- 37:29Speaker 1: it happens on the Christmas episode. Nonetheless, now we potentially
- 37:32Speaker 1: have that film two thousand dollar donation coming up. We've
- 37:36Speaker 1: got to see how family feud goes. We're gonna take
- 37:38Speaker 1: a little break. We will be back with the feud
- 37:40Speaker 1: after this. All right, we are back with you. This
- 37:53Speaker 1: is a very special Christmas edition of Family Feud. Every
- 37:56Speaker 1: single question is Christmas related. If you're not familiar with
- 37:59Speaker 1: Family Feud. Our crew will split up into two teams.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Then a member from each team will face off to
- 38:05Speaker 1: determine who gets control of the board. During the face off,
- 38:09Speaker 1: whoever provides the highest ranking answer will get to choose
- 38:12Speaker 1: if their team passes or plays. During the main play,
- 38:16Speaker 1: each member of the team will provide answers they think
- 38:18Speaker 1: are on the board. If you get one wrong, you'll
- 38:21Speaker 1: get a strike and you'll hear this. If you get
- 38:25Speaker 1: one right, you will hear this. You only get three
- 38:29Speaker 1: strikes before the other team gets an opportunity to steal.
- 38:33Speaker 1: When a team has a chance to steal, they get
- 38:35Speaker 1: to come together as a group to decide on what
- 38:38Speaker 1: they think is the best answer, and then the captain
- 38:42Speaker 1: will provide it's not the same. This is about one
- 38:46Speaker 1: hundred people being pulled. Now. There are four point totals
- 38:51Speaker 1: are doubled in round three and tripled in round four.
- 38:55Speaker 1: The team with the most points at the end, we'll
- 38:57Speaker 1: get to choose where the five conservation ornization donation goes.
- 39:01Speaker 1: They'll also get to play fast money for a chance
- 39:04Speaker 1: to double the donation to one thousand dollars. Now, let's
- 39:07Speaker 1: meet family feud would pull people. I assume they have
- 39:13Speaker 1: like an outside agency that cold calls hord people all
- 39:17Speaker 1: family feud did They will steal in their questions to absolutely.
- 39:21Speaker 1: They're probably standing in like a shopping mall somewhere asking
- 39:25Speaker 1: folks this you sold their questions and their idea. They
- 39:28Speaker 1: sell family feud packs on the internet. You can go
- 39:30Speaker 1: to Amazon right now and by like family feud, Thanksgiving,
- 39:33Speaker 1: family feud, Fourth of July, family feud, Christmas. Hope, we
- 39:36Speaker 1: don't do that with all your work, all of it.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Go at it. Let's meet our families. Over here, we
- 39:45Speaker 1: have the Steven Rannella family, which features Crin Schneider, Hayden, Sammy,
- 39:50Speaker 1: and Dan Chumbler. Now, Steve, how do you feel about
- 39:53Speaker 1: your family's ability to play Christmas family feud? You like
- 39:57Speaker 1: what you see? Yeah, he's in the emerging threat. Okay,
- 40:05Speaker 1: one by one, He's got any emerging threat on the
- 40:09Speaker 1: team and going up against them is the Yanni Patel's family,
- 40:12Speaker 1: which includes Hunter Spencer, Garrett Law and Maggie Smith. Be honest,
- 40:17Speaker 1: how do you feel about your family's ability of your
- 40:22Speaker 1: teammates in the future? If these are pretty current event
- 40:25Speaker 1: type questions contemporary, I think we're going to do much
- 40:28Speaker 1: better because our family is much younger than Bob Bartner
- 40:31Speaker 1: has been dead for isn't he dead now? He looks
- 40:36Speaker 1: dead to see the guy that wants you to spaying
- 40:38Speaker 1: due to your pets. Yeah, and Drew Drew Carry still
- 40:42Speaker 1: says that line at the end of the episodes. Yeah,
- 40:46Speaker 1: he does all right. Going up against each other, first,
- 40:49Speaker 1: we have Steve and we have Yanni. Do you understand
- 40:53Speaker 1: what's gonna happen? I know I don't understand. Here's what's
- 40:55Speaker 1: gonna happen. You two are competing for your chance for
- 40:59Speaker 1: your team to get control of the board. I will
- 41:01Speaker 1: ask a prompt. Whoever rings in first gets to answer, Okay,
- 41:06Speaker 1: and then when you answer, if you give the top answer,
- 41:09Speaker 1: can you give me an example what you mean? I
- 41:11Speaker 1: would say something like, top eight answers are on the board. Uh,
- 41:16Speaker 1: we asked one hundred people name someone you wouldn't want
- 41:21Speaker 1: to hear you having making whoopee or something like that,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and that's combining and then yes, and then we'd say
- 41:30Speaker 1: survey says, and then ding the mom is number three right?
- 41:35Speaker 1: And if you if you don't give the top answer,
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yanni would get a chance to provide a better answer
- 41:41Speaker 1: than that. So right now you're going for speed and accuracy.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I think I know what people would say that they
- 41:47Speaker 1: talked to in the parking a lot some years ago.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Exactly exactly are we ready? You're honest? Get your hand
- 41:54Speaker 1: by your buzzer. Top eight answers are on the board.
- 41:58Speaker 1: We asked one hundred people name a popular Christmas cookie
- 42:02Speaker 1: shape we have. Oh yeah, Yannie beat him bad way.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I think I think it was clearly honest. A lot
- 42:17Speaker 1: of time to think about my honest give us your answer, dude.
- 42:23Speaker 1: There was simultaneous I think family feud has technology. The
- 42:32Speaker 1: Fila Steve nobody was recording us. I said I couldn't
- 42:36Speaker 1: see well and and Hayden thought, oh, Karin Karn, you
- 42:45Speaker 1: said you honest. He just put words in my mouth.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I thought, how about we both just write down our answer.
- 42:55Speaker 1: You just gotta get honest, give it to be honest.
- 42:57Speaker 1: We gotta keep going and honest. You get Christmas tree,
- 43:03Speaker 1: Christmas Tree, show me Christmas Tree. It's way high on
- 43:07Speaker 1: the list, number one answer Christmas Tree. Thirty two people
- 43:12Speaker 1: said that, Yanni, you now get to choose if your
- 43:14Speaker 1: team is going to pass or play. If you play,
- 43:17Speaker 1: you get the first chance to get all eight answers.
- 43:20Speaker 1: If you choose to pass, Steve's team will instead. If
- 43:22Speaker 1: you don't get all eight answers, Steve's team would get
- 43:25Speaker 1: a chance to steal and they just have to come
- 43:27Speaker 1: up with one correct answer that's left on the board.
- 43:30Speaker 1: So what's it gonna be? Passed or play? Do I
- 43:32Speaker 1: get my kids? Do I get to discuss real quick
- 43:35Speaker 1: with my team? Now? Just choose one? Really, really, come on,
- 43:39Speaker 1: how confident you eight? O eight? Play is more fun?
- 43:44Speaker 1: Yanni's team is choosing to play. We're now over to Garrett.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Garrett eight answers around the board. We asked one hundred
- 43:53Speaker 1: people like, how much does it matter that you just
- 43:57Speaker 1: gave him the bell? Thing? Is that like a huge
- 43:59Speaker 1: up for them or in the in the end it
- 44:01Speaker 1: just washes out gave them the bell that we sprung
- 44:04Speaker 1: the bell. At the same time, somewhat arbitrarily said he
- 44:07Speaker 1: didn't see if the chances of them getting all eight
- 44:11Speaker 1: honestly are probably pretty slimming. And then if they don't
- 44:13Speaker 1: get all eight, you just have to get one and
- 44:15Speaker 1: your team gets all the points. I think. I think
- 44:17Speaker 1: the smart the smart tactic and family feud is if
- 44:20Speaker 1: it's like seven or eight, you should pass. If it's
- 44:23Speaker 1: like if it's like five or six, you should play.
- 44:25Speaker 1: So they chose what I would say incorrectly here and
- 44:29Speaker 1: your chance like, get a chance to steal. We're over
- 44:32Speaker 1: to Garrett. Garrett. We talked to one hundred people and said,
- 44:35Speaker 1: name a popular Christmas cookie shape. The number one answer
- 44:39Speaker 1: is gone, What do you got Santa Claus? Santa Claus,
- 44:43Speaker 1: show me Santa Claus. Low, No, Santa Claus. About now

- 46:44Speaker 1: to the Steve Ronella family for a chance to steal Hunter.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Name a popular Christmas cookie shape. Your board is right
- 46:51Speaker 1: above Phil's head. If you need a reference, Snowman. Nice, Nice, Spencer, Nice,
- 46:57Speaker 1: show me Snowman number seven. Answer three people, Oh, this
- 47:06Speaker 1: isn't entertaining. Huh weird down to Marge, mar your family
- 47:13Speaker 1: has your family has two strikes? Name a popular Christmas cookie,
- 47:19Speaker 1: shape area, show me wreath? No sorry to tell his
- 47:30Speaker 1: family going to come to the Steven all a family, Steve,
- 47:33Speaker 1: your family gets a chance to discuss what your one
- 47:36Speaker 1: answer is going to be. As a reminder, you have
- 47:39Speaker 1: the number three option available, the number four option available,
- 47:42Speaker 1: and the number eight option available. Definitely, definitely you can.
- 47:46Speaker 1: You can. You can discuss a lout here. My mind
- 47:55Speaker 1: was like a major baker and had all the little
- 47:57Speaker 1: punch out. Always do the bell. I'm not saying the
- 47:59Speaker 1: bell is not good. I'm just saying, so, Steve, if
- 48:05Speaker 1: you get this correct, your team wins all the points
- 48:08Speaker 1: on the board. If you don't get it right, Yanni's
- 48:11Speaker 1: team will take the game and they win the points.
- 48:14Speaker 1: There's no second steal. Steve, what are you guys discussing between?
- 48:20Speaker 1: That's your answer? Well, you mean I think that people
- 48:22Speaker 1: make a lot of candy cane and angel, So what
- 48:27Speaker 1: are we discussing between over here? What are you choosing between?
- 48:32Speaker 1: I'm good with either bellor candy cane. They're definitely Bell
- 48:36Speaker 1: or candy cane. But I feel like candy cane is
- 48:38Speaker 1: like very specific to this holiday answer, candy cane. This
- 48:44Speaker 1: is for the game, show me candy cane, no hotels,
- 48:54Speaker 1: family takes. It's can't we see if Bella is on

- 57:11Speaker 1: the five answers are gone? But why are you guys?
- 57:14Speaker 1: Feel like to mom from it? I feel like I
- 57:18Speaker 1: was thinking, I think that's so much lamer. Yeah, for Steve,
- 57:25Speaker 1: what are we deciding present? So it can't be a
- 57:29Speaker 1: smart ass thing like a present? I think, what are
- 57:32Speaker 1: we deciding between over here? Exactly? Well? I thought that
- 57:35Speaker 1: I don't smart. I messed everybody up. But you can Okay,
- 57:40Speaker 1: here's what we're going with. I don't know how you
- 57:42Speaker 1: want to put it. We're calling it a card or
- 57:43Speaker 1: a tag. I could call it it like a gift tang.
- 57:46Speaker 1: We called it tags. But here's the thing that I've got.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I've gotten a lot of gifts without a card, right,
- 57:57Speaker 1: But like these people have also got a lot of
- 57:59Speaker 1: gift without people got to get in the head of

- 58:41Speaker 1: people aren't listening to the question. You said, what do
- 58:44Speaker 1: you need to wrap a present? So it's like you're
- 58:48Speaker 1: implying like that there's a present. If you said what
- 58:51Speaker 1: do I need to dress a person? You wouldn't go
- 58:53Speaker 1: a person? The person is the given? Yeah, Phil, why
- 59:01Speaker 1: are you taking other people's ideas? Well? This team was
- 59:08Speaker 1: better got NINETI points doubled. Where do we sit after
- 59:12Speaker 1: three rounds? Like, what do you use to start your car?
- 59:16Speaker 1: A car? I'm just trying to think of what group
- 59:18Speaker 1: will donate to alright, the Honest family. The Honest family
- 59:23Speaker 1: has two seven points. Steve family has one hundred, but
- 59:28Speaker 1: point totals are tripled in this final round, so you
- 59:31Speaker 1: can still take the victory. Du listen, it is so stupid.
- 59:39Speaker 1: What you need to do, Steves go to the random
- 59:41Speaker 1: New Jersey shopping these people in and fight them all.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Steve's gonna be out in front of j C. Penny wish.
- 59:49Speaker 1: One of you said, Gifts. We are down to the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: final round. It is Karin versus Maggie. Do we both
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: understand what's going to happen here? Yes? Can you imagine
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the subjects of these surveys were vetted in some way
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: or another. This would be like a completely different process.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Take their pulse. And then I asked him, this is
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: a great idea, Steve. You can just sit it out
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: next year. If you're like, I'm not coming. Top seven
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: answers are on the board. We asked one hundred people
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: if Santa had a party, who might he invite? I
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: think it was Maggie. I mean I think it was Filigrees.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: It was Maggie. Maggie, tell me if Santa had a party,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: who might he invite? Show me Elves number one answer.

- 1:00:55Speaker 1: team is going to pass or play their seven answers
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: on the board. He'd rather have elves and baby Jesus.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You want to talk about the commodification of Christmas. You're
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: missing your classic line, the War on Christmas, Maggie, what's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: it gonna be? Pass or play? Pass? They're going to
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: pass means over to the Steve family. We're going to
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: start with Karin, Karin. There are seven answers on the board.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: The number one answer is gone. We asked one hundred
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: people if Santa had a party, who might he invite?
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Show me Rudolph, Rudolph Number two answer Rudolph or Reindeer.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Both of them fall under that second one. Twenty three
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: people said Rudolph or Reindeer. We are now up to Steve. Steve.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Seven answers are on the board. We asked one hundred
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: people if Santa had a party, who might he invite?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Mrs Klaus show me the German version of Mrs Claus
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: got it the number four answer. Fifteen people said, Mrs Claus, Dan,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: your team does not have any strikes, and you still
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: have the third answer on the board, the fifth, sixth
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and seven answer on the board. So tell me if
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Santa had a party, who might he invite the Easter Bunny?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Show me Easter Bunny. Number three people said Easter Bunny,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: which is three more said Mrs Claus are like I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: gotta be obviously. Hey, then your team does not have
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: any strikes. You have the the six and the seventh
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: answers available. We asked one hundred people if Santa had
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a party, who might he invite? Well, now you know
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: where people's heads are. Apt. Uh, you can't tell me
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I made a joke earlier one. I'm starting to wonder
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: if that's not that I'm out of time, Hayden. Uh Uh.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: The Gringe show Me is a charitable dude bench the board. Karan,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: we're down to your Your team has one strike and
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: three answers to go to take Krin. If Santa had

- 1:03:36Speaker 1: family likes it. Show me Frosty. Number six answers. Three
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: people said, Frosty, Steve, we are back to you. There
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: were two answers left where he moved. Mom, I think
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: he wouldn't bite Jesus. Yeah, that's a good call, because
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: show me Jesus not on the war on Christmas. Dan,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: we are up to you. If you don't get one
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: of the answers, then the janest Patel's family will get
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a chance to steal. Your team has two strikes, so
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: tell me if Santa had a party, who might he
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: invite Dan? Thanksgiving? Two answers left. What's it gonna be?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Can't discuss Dan? We need an answer? Yeah, oh, Durty
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: all time Turkey, show me Turkey. Not on the board.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: We are over to the janest Patel's family, Yanni. Your
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: team gets a chance to discuss, and here's what's on
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the line. If you get this right, your team takes
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the victory and we'll go to fast money. But if
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: it gets it wrong, then Steve's team will win and
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: they will go to fast money. So you have to
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: give me a correct answer. That one all comes down
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to one answer. What are we deciding between? Over here?
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You got Jack Frost and also have kids. We're gonna
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: go with kids kids. If you get this right, your
