And we didn't really, we were already kind of low on healing

and we're talking about what to do with that.

So we didn't really have anyone in the pipeline to take over.

And I had just actually the day before because on on Tuesdays I

play Final Fantasy with my parents and I play a white maid,

which is basically their holy priest.

And I was thinking that day, you know, like I kind of miss this a

little bit. So it felt a little fady, right?

Like it felt like everything was aligning.

But I had not touched holy priests since like kind of the

War Within. And even that was like leveling

her like 3 levels. Then being like this is dumb.

I'm not going to do 2 characters so I luckily had a boost to get

her up to 80 and I saved my hotel 6 whole levels.

So this last week I boosted her to 80I ground her to 9100% was

time walking dungeons. I do not want to see a single

legion dungeon for the rest of my life.

That was insane. And then I spent the last the

rest of the week getting up to 260, which is what we decided

was basically our minimum item level.

So I had a ton of friends who were helping grind me up with

10s which was amazing about. I am so blown away by how

generous everyone on the Guild was with helping to carry me.

I did a ton of delves. I learned that I cannot do prey

on priest So but I, I I hit it. I hit 260 exactly today.

And so I, you know, need to use my crafts and everything.

So hopefully I'll get a couple higher since again, that's

pretty low because we're on the last two while we're on Bella

I finally took the time to go through and do some of those

So I got up to I've got all of the various affixes unlocked,

but I haven't done a level 5 yet.

I'm mostly doing it to like get all of the mounts.

So I got the bird because this week is the one in Soleiman.

So I got that that void bird mount.

I cleared cleared through it to get unlock 5.

I'll do that. I've got to get, of course, my

But because I've just sort of been stumbling through blindly.

But this week has been fantastic for me.

I got one of the mounts from the rares because there's like two

mounts for in each zone that any rare can drop.

And so I got one of the mounts from Zolomon and I had two

mounts from Ever Song and now I have one mount each from the

other two zones, which means I've got only three mounts

remaining on that. I also took took some time,

pushed, pushed through and worked on my Rep or renown.

So now I've got the amount from the soiree, though, I think

there's like more stuff I can do with that, just like all the

sort of single player stuff that came in with like 12 point O

five. That inspired me to do more of

that single player stuff and basically enjoying it.

Of course, trying to trying to make some gold, trying to like

get all. I feel like this is a really

good time to like not make gold, but the stock up on all of my

That means that as soon as you hit level 90, you can go to

these like mini zones and turn on heroic world, the heroic

world tear. I wouldn't suggest it because

based on what Sean was telling us last time, even if you are

fairly well geared, this stuff will hurt.

But you don't have to wait for exactly that 275 item level that

active prey right now. I've gotten to the point where I

can go kill the nightmare the guy on nightmare difficulty and

I can't do it. I've tried so many times.

I've tried on disk, I've tried on shadow.

I don't know that I've tried on holy, but given that I'm having

issues on disk with damage fast enough to get through things, I

don't know that holy would be the solution.

So the point of that is I suddenly am feeling very

different about open world contact.

So I, I'm here, I, I might, I'll probably try heroic world here,

see how it goes, but I'm feeling less like that will be one of

them. But honestly I I will probably

if nothing else, switch to my Demon Hunter for like a day just

so I can play through it and see how it feels on something that's

tanky and and good for open world content.

OK, I mean, sometimes it is really the class.

I can solo rares on my warlock that is like 260 that I have

difficulty soloing on my shaman, that's 288 now.

So sometimes it's like, Oh yeah, I've got a pet like a hunter or

I'm just a tank. That just makes the difference

even after item level. It also could be just

familiarity, like once you get back into swing of the priest

and you're like, OK, let me use my fear at the right time and

that sort of stuff. You might you might be able to

like lock things down at A at the right pacing.

That's true. I I really don't play shadow or

disc on every on any real level. I kind of imported a a build

from icy veins and called it a day and turned on my assist

rotation in my rotation assist. So a lot of it is probably that.

I did also pick a particularly tough nightmare prey.

I picked the guy who summons dragon Hawks every few minutes

and that is really tough on at least on on disc because it I

can't kill the dragon Hawks in time.

So I spend the entire time fighting dragon Hawks and

eventually that time gets shorter and shorter and shorter.

And then I have multiple dragon Hawks and I can't heal through

it. And then I just die every time

without fail. And I, I can't be like, well,

I'm going to burn the boss because I try to burn the boss

off and there's three dragon Hawks.

So I, I might have picked a really bad one.

And now I'm saying that Nightmare is impossible on on

disc and it's just that I am doing the wrong one.

I have one side to completely derail this, but I have one more

complaint that I'd like to say. Now that I'm playing as a

healer, I understand the logic behind not giving healers

interrupts in an attempt to keep us from getting overwhelmed.

And like Mythic Plus and raid, I actually genuinely do.

I do feel like that was an issue that was frustrating for me as a

healer as I kind of felt like in Mythic Plus almost anything that

was not literally forced on DPS would get pushed onto healers

because like tank tanking and DPS doesn't want to do things

and so I guess it's going to be the healer.

Y'all got to give us an open world interrupt like if if you

were going. To give us the the.

Number of times even in delves. Like luckily Valera is like

relatively OK with interrupts, but Oh my God, the number of

times in open world of content I was getting my absolute butt

handed to me. I think I can say ass on the

show I was anyway, I was struggling because it was a

mechanic that very like the point was for example, to

complain more about prey. The major coalescing essences,

right, which are usually a pretty easy way to get prey,

especially like nightmare prey rap pretty quickly, are almost

impossible on a healer because they are, they have a heel,

especially near the end. And it's meant to be an

attention check, right? Like are you paying enough

attention? It's an easy interrupt.

Whatever, I can't interrupt so it kept healing and I'm doing

very slow damage so I got him down eventually, but it was way

more time than it was supposed to be.

And I oh man man, just give me one interrupt and make it only

open world. Like make it the second I'm in a

group it turns off. Make it turn off in mythic

When you were in Mythic Plus because you had a bunch of

remembering about holy priest is I think I actually, I, I much

prefer grouped content as a healer and I'm up for solo

content as a DPS. Like trying to get into groups

I'm also not a very good DPS. Let's just lay it out there,

the time I was, I had a lot of fun as a Demon Hunter, but I'm

certainly not like one of the top demon hunters in the world.

So I was struggling a lot more with getting group content going

as ADPS versus as a healer. I had a lot of a lot more fun,

although I did have I'm being reminded of why I was scared of

pugs. I did have one pug on the last

group we did where the tank after we finished the key, like

made a little comment like healer, it's fine to be under

geared, but if you're not going to even know the basic strats,

you need to not be here. Which like fair enough.

But number 1, I actually did know the strats.

There was one that I screwed up. It was you're going to Spire and

I forgot that you're supposed to stack for the so like whatever,

my bad. But everything else, like I knew

the mechanics. It was just that I was like,

Holy Priest is not mobile. So I very often have to make a

choice between like, am I going to risk soaking whatever this is

or am I going to let the entire team die because I can't heal

we finished with like 8 minutes leftover.

So like we got our ten. I don't know what we're

complaining about, but I did remember the stress of like, oh

doesn't happen to just healers. There is a lot of things that as

you get higher up, you can no longer just compensate for it

of time. But like as this is your first

week doing those dungeons as a healer or even touching a holy

priest in years, I think we you can give yourself a little bit

of slack and know that like, hey, yeah, there are there are

Partially, I think, and partially because I'm touchy,

but partially because in, in World of Warcraft, that sort of

Like, like there's less of a culture of we're all going to

kind of work together and get each other to the best.

more of a teaching culture. And I understand why 10 is not

and Harry that they like weren't worthy.

And this thing that I felt a lot back when I did LFR is that

nobody wanted to teach. Yeah.

Everyone just wanted to get, like, to push through.

And then we would just wipe all the time on bosses.

And then the second we took, you know, 60 seconds to let somebody

who had great experience just walk through the basic

mechanics, all of a sudden we get it.

And like, you know, it actually would have taken less time if we

were just paused at the beginning.

So I think there is a benefit to allowing to building a culture

of like teaching mechanics at the start of fight or be willing

to like go through that if it seems like people are

struggling. But again, I also fully

understand where the tank is coming from that a 10 is not the

place for that. I get it.

So that's communication on you on their end, all the stuff that

I just talked about how some things, even though mechanically

things aren't really changing between A2 plus and a 12 plus or

Suddenly we've got tyrannical and the bosses are hitting way

harder. Suddenly we got fortified in the

the trash is hitting harder, right?

There's the bargain itself that like that has like a weird

little affix that on that you were dealing with on a 10 that

was was there from I guess A5 plus, right.

Once you get past the past that you're no longer dealing with

the Xalatas thing and just everything hits harder.

And so when you're dealing with, like I said, the 13 was a good

example because now suddenly this small little tick damage on

the last boss that you could ignore and just clear it with

with like jumping over another mechanic.

Now you have to like clear it so that you're not draining your

healer the the curse that you could say, OK, well, whatever,

I'm just going to move away from the ad that this spawns you.

You can't be causing that kind of strain and sort of stuff.

And so there's this graduation that happens along it, but it's

not like it's really signpost that it's like, hey, this

mechanic is now deadly on in the dungeon journal as if many

people want like read the dungeon journal.

I get really sad about the the lack of use of the dungeon

journal. But like all of that is a matter

of teaching, a matter of learning and everything.

And like, yes, once again, Lex, you have had the absolute

disservice of jumping in late into a season.

And I do want to talk about this later, late into a season where

the expectation is, come on, it's been 1616 plus weeks.

roles that are much harder? Like, Yeah, again, I've done

Windrunner Spire. I know how you do Windrunner

Spire. It's just that I did it on a

Demon Hunter and I, which is a highly mobile class that can

take a little bit of beating and be OK versus a holy priest,

which is an extremely immobile class with a lot more going on.

Windrunner Spire having I did a, you know, quite a few tennis

this week. Windrunner has insane damage

spite like Nexus Point, I think was the only thing that I've

done that felt remotely close to it.

And usually those, especially with boss fights, usually those

damage fights are also when there's a foot mechanic, right?

So I'm trying to figure out how in God's name I'm going to like

every 60 seconds. So, you know, I don't have a

cool down every time, how I'm going to simultaneously move and

also heal my group because everyone's dying.

And also there's fire on the ground.

So it was a particularly challenging situation that I, I
